Speaker 1 (00:09):
Ladies and gentlemen. Let's get started.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
I have thought a lot in the last twenty four hours.
Te him to get your weekly sports fixed by.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
The skim of their teeth day walk. Did you just
ride it the whole book with sticks?
Speaker 2 (00:30):
Shit?
Speaker 1 (00:30):
Oh what a big dog man?
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Shit? Gee, what's going on with too interrupted? Motherfucking King's game?
We out here trying to get money. The Kings is
out here. Kobuitar said he's about to retire. He ain't
doing no fakery like Lebron acting like he's going to retire.
He's saying he is going to retire. So this is
heavyweight stuff. This is the one dude. See I don't
(00:56):
know about this though, but the one dude who's the
all time everything for the Kings. Unfortunately he ain Wayne Gresky,
he and Grant Fear. He ain't none of the mold
school guys. So a lot of people forget. But they
won two cups for the Kings. Yeah, forget that. This
(01:16):
is recent future.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
But this is an anonymous NHL grew homo. Hey, NHL
guru homie speaking right now.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
Yeah, man, it's going down. Man, Hey, I got something
on this though.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
I mean I see.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yeah, I had to double up because you know, I
was feeling the mojo with all the good uh they
with the Kings news and all that. I feel like
there's a little something in the play for the future,
especially for game one. You figure Game one at Crypto
in downtown l A. They gonna come out and show something.
But I ain't showed shit, so good thing. I got
(02:03):
the underplay going, and I doubled down on the underplay.
But the Colorado Avalanche might go ahead and hit this
over by themselves if they keep fucking around. But anyway, what.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Period isn't it? What period is it?
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Then? This is the second period intermission?
Speaker 1 (02:23):
And would you play?
Speaker 2 (02:27):
I got an under four and a half under four
and a half, which is still in play because I
still I got it's three to zero and I got
the under I got. I laddered it up with the
under five and a half.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Man, homie, Okay, I can I can feel the under
five and a half. But you went live under four
and a half, right, yeah, okay, cool, cool, cool, I
get you. I get you. You're feeling that hey real
quick for y'all, we just popped it off right now.
This is a sports fix of sticks and announce Big Homie.
(03:04):
We back right now. You know, Hey, we back. We
got to get back in the in the mix. Man,
it's been a minute, and uh we miss each other. West,
I miss you, Big Homie. We missed talking chopping it up.
So we're gonna be back. So but in full effect,
anos Big Homie is in the house and he is
(03:26):
in the spot right now, he is in the zone.
He is placing the wagers on the NHL the noof
Big Homie NHL Guru. I'm telling you, dude, follow this guy.
He'll tell you what's up.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
Well, you know what, don't follow me because I might
not tell you what's up to be honest with Yeah, Well,
I'm trying to keep on. I'm trying to hoard all
of this information from myself, if you would. But you know,
I don't want to be like, uh, you know Theyvegas
pros and all of that. I don't want to self
proclaim myself to be a Vegas pro like I know
(04:05):
a little some more than just a little something. It's
literally just that, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
It's figuring it out and it's playing the fields. Man.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Yeah, man, you gotta know, you gotta like I was
telling you, you gotta know what things to play, and
you gotta stick with your guns. Like if you want
to play play overs, play all the overs, you want
to play this, or you see a trend, you see
a trend or something, just ride the ship out of
that trend until you know and just play the margins
(04:36):
and you just like you get a little something.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
Just like we did with those overfield goals last year, homie,
how how many overfield goals? I know our percentage was good.
We didn't. We didn't take two.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Years, two seasons, two seasons, and then and I guarantee
you we, I guarantee you we was up.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
Yep, two seasons we played those over three and a
half field goals. We caught on and we did it.
And then this year we started with the over rushing
yards for these qbs because I mean, it's it's just
how it works, man. These these quarterbacks just end up
(05:20):
tucking it and running it because they get rushed and
they don't have options and they're too scared to attempt
to pass and throw these dumb plays. But if we
can keep the number low on these rushing yards, under
or over the rushing yards and these low numbers, then yeah,
you gotta roll with that too. But one you know,
(05:42):
you gotta roll with, stick with what you feel and
what you know.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Man, I'm trying to tell you that a quarterback rush
game is a thing now. Of course, you and I
wish that we had we was in the seven you
know too, and we can get down two three days
in advance and ship. But we are where we at,
(06:08):
so therefore we get it like the hour before game
day kind of situations. Yeah, and shout out to all
of the ogs from Vsen and all of that. The
the amount of information and the amount of plays that
are applicable to you know, or can be played by
(06:31):
anybody if you are in that particular area is insane
to me. Dumb, you know what I mean. You can
combo this guy with this guy and this guy and
it and these are all worldwide numbers.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
I was watching, I was just watching our episodes, the
last episode I think we did about a year ago,
talking about sports betting and all that bullshit, and I
was literally going off. I wish I could cut the
clip and put it on here right now, because if
I cut that clip and put it on here right now,
(07:08):
it'd be exactly what I'm talking about exactly what you're
talking about. If we could just play the parlays, if
we could get the the anytime touchdown parlay, and we
could pull this off. But Washington State is such a
fucking joke, bro. We know that.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Yeah, it's it's cool. I mean a shout out to
the indigenous people that locked down their ability to do that.
But I mean, we sure wish that it was a
little bit more open because the laddering that people are doing.
Like okay, so hey, I got for instance, I got
(07:49):
I don't know, give me a guy Taekwon Thort Okay, pooka, pooka. Okay,
I got pooka. And his line is said ninety and
a half. These places say that you can. They got
numbers for you to run it all the way up
past one hundred. There's action for all the way up
(08:14):
to if we could hit one oh five plus four.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
Hundred, yep, you see, you get him in ninety and
a half or ninety five and a half at minus
one ten or right plus one ten maybe if you're lucky.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
Standard big yeah, yeah, yeah, and that and that's and see,
the those things are the things when you start digging
around in your info and all of that, and you go,
damn if I was on a guy, you know, like
all of a sudden, I thought Roma Doonsday was about
to go the hell off on one particular week. Let
(08:56):
me find out what the max rack yards he can
get and play that instead of just the arbitrary number
that y'all serving me at minus one ten. Yeah, I
mean it. Oh man. So it's so beautiful it almost
makes me want to move to Vegas. But I ain't
got time for all to that.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
Hey, I've been there, bro, let's go. I'm down when
you get down there. Let's go.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
Hey, but look though, you know that damn that documentary
they did about the Circus Survivor that turned me out. Yep,
I am.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
We've been talking about that for years, Hoby.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
I am down to put an entry in. I don't
even know. I'most start saving right now to try to
get a couple entries for a Circus Survivor and make
it one. Let's go and make it a trip. And
then because the the the betting elegance that goes along
(09:55):
with being in Circus Survivor is so crazy because the
whole world is involved. All we got to do is
just survive. And advance for what as they say, twenty times,
and I'm just watching. I'm watching. I listened to all
of this stuff, and I watched everybody who fell off
with the Rams lose, and everybody this last last week
(10:17):
picked Rams. Everybody this last week pick Arizona Cardinals. Those
were the two biggest favorites, and they all fell off.
So now the whole field is down?
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Is down? Right? And what is that? What is that
on again? What was that on HBO Max or what
the freaking A?
Speaker 2 (10:36):
I watched it on YouTube?
Speaker 1 (10:38):
Oh it's on YouTube.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
Yeah, I watched it on YouTube.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
This Circle Survivor okay, okay, okay, I thought it was
on some nonsense. I shit, I cann't see I remember.
I hit you up. I was like, hey, peep this out.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
As soon as you did that, I was on it.
I was on it.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
Because because I didn't think I had I don't have that,
I don't have that channel, I don't have that streaming service.
So I was like, hey, peep this out. I didn't
know it was on YouTube.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
No it was. It was definitely a YouTube situation, and
they did them and it was a real quick thing.
After I watched the first one, I said, you know what,
they got me hooked because there's Grandma's, there's old ladies,
there's a regular you know bet bros. There's everybody who's
(11:27):
got a circuit Survivor entry, and they then push this
thing up to record numbers, to fourteen million dollars.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
Is it like the.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
Huh?
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Is it like the World Season Poker? You paid out
top three, top five, top team.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
No, it's a it's a well, they have a couple
of different ones. They got like a grand DC mall.
They got a couple of different other games that you
could play, but the Survivor is literally and you that's it.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
You roll and you can't pay the same one.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
If you're familiar with the standard yeahoo and esb in
games like that. But about that money for real and
the whole world, man, this damn uh documentary. There were
people flying in from all across the world just to
(12:28):
put their money in, and then they had to fly
back just to get back to work because there's only
so you know, I mean, a slotted window, ye you
to put your you know what I'm saying, your your grand.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
Down and you don't have to uh be in Vegas
to pick your picks. Every week, if I remember correctly.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Right, Zach Mundo. So what happens is you have a
you get a proxy after that, and then now you
have to call your.
Speaker 1 (12:59):
You have a you have a bookie that you would
just be like, hey.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
Get me down, get me down exactly, And you would
be surprised at how many people they report every week,
because now that I told you now that I'm tapped
in with this v Sen situation, Uh, it's amazing. It's
an over abundance of information. But anyway they tap they
you know, they track all of this stuff because all
(13:25):
of them have entries, so they you would be surprised
at how many people do not put an entry in
every week.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
Yeah, they fuck up.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
Yeah, for whatever reason.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
That's crazy wild to me. I love it. Hey, you
know what I just want to say, Uh, this announced
homie beard that you got going on right now, that
is not AI generated, is it?
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Uh? No, that is CVS generated. That's from the straight
from the drug store.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
And where in the fucking hell is the gray ad
doc As I've seen your bitch ass, and I know
there's gray in that motherfucker, So what are you doing
with that? There is no damn way that that is
legitly your.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
Damn face, Well, clearly not. I'm not Marty McFly. I
ain't got no you know, being, no time machine to
just jump off into. Oh but you know, the brothers
ain't scared to get rid of them grays and walk
around here and act like we ain't old. You know
what I'm saying. I was just telling my daughter today.
I was like, I'm on the verge of cracking fifty,
(14:34):
which is crazy to me. So I'm going to do
what the hell I can. Okay, you feel what I'm saying.
I'm about to get the hell I can.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
It looks good, homie and no hormo, And I ain't
mad at you. That looks damn good on you, dog,
you know what you know? Like you look like the
Kimbo Slice dog. Nobody knows about this Kimbo slide back
in the day. That's who you remind me of. Right now.
I was trying to think of this whole time we
(15:05):
were speaking. I was like, man, whose motherfucker look like?
I wanted to say some racist ship because you know
how I am, but I want you know what, but
you really do look like Kimbo Slice right now. That's
that's who you remind me of take those glasses off
real quick.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
Don't no, I can't see it, but hey, I get
that the Kimbo slices. I'm sitting up here looking into
the small window off to the side that has me
in it, and I see what you're talking about. The
kimbo Kimbo slice right now, kim the kimbo slice goes.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
I like the respect.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
I like that too, because let somebody fucking around see
what happened?
Speaker 1 (15:46):
Yeah, backyard brawl? Hey what else? What else you got
going on right now? How's those Kings looking right now?
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Uh? We just uh.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
Still on the We're still on the under four and
a half. That's all I care about.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
Oh yeah, we're definitely still in on the four and
a half. We did just drop the puck on the
third third period minutes and uh, Colorado has thirty seconds
left on a power play. We still had three zero
Colorado avalanche over the LA Kings. But you know, so
(16:22):
we got what do we need? We we we hating
on two goals. We'll well, we'll appreciate one, but we're
hating on two goals. The three goals is definitely not happening.
Definitely not happening absolutely know what. That's that's why, that's
why we got the cover. Yeah that I was I'm
(16:44):
thinking I was gonna double up, but I didn't know
that the Kings was just gonna bend over, like you
know what I mean. When it when it was when
it was one zero, I was like, oh, well, let
me let's just go ahead and double up on this thing,
you know what I'm saying. And they had the five
and a half. I figured let me layer it up
with four and a half and five and a half
(17:06):
just to protect myself. And immediately it became two zero
three zero go, oh my god, these dudes are tripping
and they and the avalanches out here skating at Crypto
dot com arena like like this is their own ship.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
Well yeah, oh make sure I'm recording this ship, don
it said? Recording?
Speaker 2 (17:37):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (17:38):
I think so? Yeah, yeah I heard that while back man, Okay,
cool cool?
Speaker 2 (17:42):
Yeah. So hey, I need you to give me some
information about the financial industry right now in this moment
and time with UH government shutdowns and things like that,
how is that affecting the banking industry And should I
be and should I be out? I don't know, because
(18:03):
you know, I'm heavily active and all.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
You want to hear, you want to hear a funny story.
That's let's you need to clip this ship for the
people later on today. Uh remind me about the financial industry,
because you know what, I would love to speak about that,
and I want to be a part of that, and
I want to be able to uh give my knowledge
(18:26):
and speak my knowledge here and there.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
Right.
Speaker 1 (18:29):
But let me tell you, homie, your boy, you think
you have some ship like your fucking artificial hip. You're
fucking plantar fasciatists, which you're soft with the planner fasciatists.
Come on, dog, you.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
And you standing on that ship with you, stay on
that ship with.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
That boy. So you saw.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
Cooper hired from less ship than I got.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
I get you. You have a you have a new
new hip. Okay, I got you. But you're out here
if you can't walk around on your foot, son, you're
training for a triathlon. You're out there doing all that.
I respect that, but you can't tell me you have
a bad uh planet fasci iis or whatever. Your ass
(19:24):
can't walk around? Come on, doc, I've seen you. You
can't walk around on a hip. You can't walk around
on a knee. You can walk around on a foot, son,
So let me tell you a funny story.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
Go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, No, go ahead, I'm
gonna let you get that all out because I'm telling you, hey,
as this life you don't want to live. I know I,
as a as a former athlete, you understood when stuff
gets taken away from you. You don't. You don't. You
(19:56):
don't want to live this life of yeah man and
hobbling and walking around like a fucking toddler. Trust me, bro,
you don't want it. Hey. We start reverting after a while,
and they say you half your life, and they go,
you can get past forty five or whatever. And then
now all of a sudden, you start going backwards. The
next thing you know, you start inching closer and closer
(20:18):
to diapers and toddler walking, and yeah, they gonna have
to sit me in a playpen at some point. I
don't damn know.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
Hey, I'm telling you, I fucking around with you, dog
because I love you and you're the greatest, and you
know I can fuck with you. But man, I'm telling
you right now, you and I, if you put our art,
my mind and your body together, we'd be all fucked up.
Because this is what happened to me today. Bro. I'm
fucking walking out. I take the garbage out to the
(20:50):
to the trash can down the street in the apartment,
and I fucking walk back.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
I walk.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
I'm not on my phone, I'm not doing anything. I'm
just blanking out right. Walk up the stairs to my apartment.
Crack the door. Why is the door not open, dude,
I'm like, I know I didn't lock this motherfucker. Try
it again, do the key again, put the key in there.
And I'm like, what the fuck. And I'm like, oh, hey,
(21:19):
these people have some cool place mats around here. Looking around,
I'm like, in there, it doesn't no, No, I'm not inside.
I'm just outside, like the places. There's like four of
them around here, right, four outdoor place mats right, And
I'm looking around. I'm like, man, this looks this is
pretty cool. I don't I don't recall that in my place.
(21:42):
Put the key in turn it. Oh yeah, she tried
the door handle again. Finally, look at the number on
the door to the right, because it's not on the left.
It's like, not right in your vicinity. It's to your right. Right,
and I look over and I'm like, that's not my
apartment number. I'm like, ah, up, I try to break
into someone's motherfucking house. Dog, I tried to break into
(22:05):
somebody's apartment not in mind. And this is like eight
thirty nine o'clock in the morning. I'm like, dude, I'm
telling you, what the hell you talk about getting old sun?
Speaker 2 (22:20):
Let me find out. Let me find out that the
homide Steaks is bruh Man from the fifth floor, who'd
just be walking in the people House for Martin on
Martin Show, making sandwich in the kitchen and pouring juice
and shit and looking for beers and shit in the
(22:42):
bathroom like this.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
If I walk into someone's apartment and I walk into
the fridge and there's beer there, it's gonna make me
feel it home. Dog, That's all I care about giving
in there. If there's no course light, then I'll be like, Hey,
why is there a course light in my fridge? Maybe
I'm in the wrong spot. If there's course light in there,
it's a rap, dude. I'm sitting on the couch, I'm
(23:05):
turning on the TV. I'm chilling, and or we're gonna
have a good time or a very bad time. Once
that person says, Hey, what the fuck are you doing
to my house?
Speaker 2 (23:17):
Bro?
Speaker 1 (23:17):
I don't know, dude. I'm telling you old is getting old.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
Man. Yo, I'm trying to tell you my grandmother told
me back in the day. Man, old getting old ain't
no pump is what she used to suck. And I'm
trying to tell you when you get old, that shit
does not play no games. That don't play no games
(23:40):
with nobody. It creep up on everybody. Everybody think they
fly until them numbers start progressing. And when them numbers
start progressing, that but you know what I'm saying, Your
body be like, yeah, we used to do this. Go
ahead and jump up there and grab that rim. See
what happened, boy, ahead and embarrass yourself. Go ahead and
try to raise your kids to the corner. Hey, it's wild.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
Yeah, I know. I remember you remember back in I
must have been like probably five years ago now, when
you took a Kamara out to the basketball court and
you were like, I'm gonna I'm gonna hoop her up.
And I think it lasted about five minutes, bro, and
(24:26):
you said, nah, damn good, Miami, Miami don't play this
right now. And that was when you had the good legs,
and you had the good and you had a good plant,
the good good foot dog. Can you imagine doing that
ship now? Man, those kids run loops around you right now.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
Yo. But look though, at the same time you peat
this though, I probably have not done this much daily
work since varsity wrestling practice during season. You know what
(25:10):
I'm saying, I be on this shit. I just be
looking for results, and the results ain't happening, which is
what is That's the thing that has me thrown off.
And that's what tells me that time waits for no men.
You know what I'm saying, because that's why all these
athletes when they go, hey, this is when I knew
that it was the time. It's exactly that, because you
(25:32):
still have the motivation, you still want to do it.
But now all of a sudden, that weight ain't the same,
or that speed ain't the same, or that those movements
aren't the same, and and oh, don't have a major injury.
You know that you need to come back from come
(25:53):
back from what. Oh my god, look at my hey,
Look shout out to my boy Andrew. Look who got
out here with all of his brain cells, you know
what I'm saying, and still able to walk. That dude
is a genius. And look, that's why you went to Stanford.
Speaker 1 (26:09):
But hey, that motherfucker said my offensive line, nobody's taking
care of me. I'm gonna get beat up and I'm out.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
And that's it.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
Five hundred record maybe.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
Shit the average person. We know what happens with these
cats in the NFL, what happens after the fact they
be up here hobbling around and all this unless you
unless you the god Jerry Rice. You know what I'm saying,
taking hits, dog, I know it, but I'm saying, that's
what I'm saying. He's out here. He look at all
(26:44):
that work and all them tapes we used to see
of him doing that work and all of that, and he.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
Never work because he didn't have to fucking take those
hits every day and get knocked down and get tackled
by three hundred and fifty pound linemen.
Speaker 2 (26:56):
That's right. They well, they didn't have those those crossing
routes back then. He didn't have to He didn't have
to suffer them crossing routes that Michael Irvin had had
to suffer with. You look, at Michael Irvin. Michael Irvin
that lost his damn mind because he done got cracked
way too many times. He's out here at the Hurricanes games,
(27:17):
you know, going crazy like he's a part of a
student alumni. You know what I'm saying, because he's lost it.
It's gone. You know what I'm saying. You take all
of those hits on. And then the I just watched
a somebody just interviewed my boy uh uh Darius Shaq
(27:37):
uh Shaq Leonard.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
Your cults, Yes, that's right.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
And they were like, well, why you give us so early?
And then of course he gives the story and he
was like, yeah, I didn't want to start getting into
the He said, I started with all the medications to
be ready for game day and all of that, but
I wasn't trying to lit. I wasn't trying to live
off of that because I couldn't do if it wasn't
(28:05):
if it wasn't the Friday or the Saturday before game day,
I couldn't do nothing, which is.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
Yeah, I don't know how they do it. Bro's religiously
crazy how they handle themselves.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
Yeah, and he said he would do nothing until Friday. Friday.
Then he would start taking you know what I'm saying,
whatever he needed to take, and then Saturday and then
game day and then get after it and then but
he said he was dealing with way too many things
to where he couldn't push off and he couldn't go
(28:41):
certain directions and all of that. And that's after, you know,
a major injury and you're trying to do it on
a professional level. It's I couldn't even imagine, you know
what I'm saying, Just you know, all that and and
your brain being gone with you saying, you having to
(29:02):
work with the medication just to get you right Monday
through no Sunday. You know, so Thursday you wasn't doing nothing.
Do you better not be a Thursday game because you
is gonna be all messed.
Speaker 1 (29:16):
Up and you and you and you're you're feeling that
right now. That's how you do though, not to put
your business out there, but uh, you kind of have
the same feel though, like with all the ship that
you have to go through to deal with the daily
aspects of the bullshit that you gotta deal with. I mean,
(29:39):
those guys are are crazy, Like you can't do that
for that long. So respect to Shaq, Leonard stepping away.
He's he did retire, right, Yeah, yep, he did retire.
He was at the I think it was at the
Colts game last week the week before.
Speaker 2 (29:56):
He didn't get a he didn't get a number, retired,
but they let him, you know, give a little nice
little speech and and this kind of thing. Couple of
players shout at them out and all of that during
the game.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
But yeah, I saw that one of the sacks that
old boy had, that big boy speaking of that. Your
culture on fire, your rams are on fire.
Speaker 2 (30:19):
Looking right? How did we know that that Daniel Dimes
would be what we needed after, you know, and.
Speaker 1 (30:29):
Put a quarterback. It happens all the time. You put
a quarterback in the right situation. You put a quarterback
in the right hands of of the coach and the
quarterback coach, a head coach and a quarterback coach who
can teach you the right way of being a quarterback
(30:53):
and just making the right decisions and putting you in
the right game plan. That's how it works.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
Okay, what happens, you're what you said is one hundred
percent accurate. But what these teams have tried to do
with getting the young cheap QB in order to solidify
the rest of the roster to pay off everybody else.
We can not pay that person heavily for four years
(31:24):
until then or however any three years I think, and
then their contract comes up, then we have to pay
them if they're worth it, like they did with the
brock Party situation, which is they done messed up, but
it's all good. But in those situations, man, hey, these
(31:45):
quarterbacks need time to bust the Aaron Rodgers. If you
get what I'm saying. You know what I'm saying. They
need time to bust the Patrick Mahons. You got to
hold that clipboard for a little well until you feel
like you know, you're done. You've done all of the
(32:05):
practice squad situations. You've done all of this, and then
maybe you've done some uh clean up duty in real
time situations. But clean up duty though, but you know,
plus you do that, and I'm trying to tell you
all of that stuff is invaluable. Throwing these dudes out there.
(32:28):
Everybody loves to throw a hot college quarterback out into
the into the starting.
Speaker 1 (32:36):
Position, Jackson Dark.
Speaker 2 (32:37):
Let's just and just just to watch the reference, just
to watch them fail and then what's gonna happen is
you spend it back around, give them three, four or
five years, and then we look at Geno Geno Smith.
Then you look at Sam Darnold, then you look at
a couple other guys, Daniel Jones, and you say, you know,
and you see them all spin back around and they
(33:00):
land where they should land and situations where it would
be beneficial for them after they've had the propriate amount
of growth. It's like going to graduate school. They went
to college, which is cool, but now you get that
first level of graduate school and you get you stay
under the same situation with the OC and the head
(33:24):
the head coach, and you stay in the same system
for a while, and then when they throw your glass in,
then you turn into Jordan Loves You feel what I'm.
Speaker 1 (33:33):
Saying, Yep, I agree with you. And that's what I'm
saying about Jackson Dark like he's thrown in there right
now with a terrible coach who obviously had Daniel Jones
last year, two years ago or whatever it was, and
then go somewhere else.
Speaker 2 (33:51):
Is they both terrible because he'd be taking a lot
of credit for the Josh Josh Allen situation.
Speaker 1 (33:58):
Yeah, now he's taking a lot of credit for the
Jackson Dark situation too, But where's that gonna lead them?
You know what I'm saying, Like, Yeah, that Jackson Dart
is the the QB one in New York right now,
hands down. But if he makes bad decisions like he has.
(34:24):
I think he had what two or three interceptions last week,
it could be a different situation. You know, he'll be
there for two or three years and then hopefully he
goes somewhere else. Dave Ball's not gonna last that long
in New York anyways. I mean he's been there two
or three years already, so Dave Ball's probably on his
way out. But you get a coach, you get a quarterback,
(34:45):
like you said with Daniel Jones, moves on, Sam Darnell
moves on. Baker Mayfield was in Carolina, Cleveland, Carolina, and
now he's bawling out in Tampa Bay.
Speaker 2 (34:59):
I mean that the number one that's the number one
example right there. Yep. I mean you because he went
number one and he.
Speaker 1 (35:07):
Went yes, agreed, and one hundred percent, And that's that's
how it works. You get him in these situations if
they can handle being a backup quarterback, if they can
handle going through the adversities of being terrible for that long.
I mean, Sam Darnold said, and I quote and we
(35:27):
all saw it. I see ghosts, you know. And now
look what happens. He goes to Minnesota and now he's
back in the in the league and or back in
the primetime and he's a starting quarterback Minnesota and now Seattle. Uh. Yeah,
it's all about coaching, bro, It's all about coaching. And
(35:48):
you have to be able.
Speaker 3 (35:49):
To to get the right people in place to coach
and get these guys to play it the right way,
their way and be comfortable with what how they play.
Speaker 2 (36:05):
Well. Yeah, I mean, you gotta think that all of
these guys that are these quarterbacks were the dopest guy
from their high school and then they were probably top five,
top three in college when they came out. We're not
starting to know punks out here, except for like Spencer
(36:27):
Ratler and a couple other people that you know are
currently starters. These is all high level guys. It takes,
you know, a look some major doing from a guy.
They was about to shit on my boy, Trev Lawrence,
(36:48):
you know what I mean, he was on the verge
of being shipped on. And now look it, I don't
even know if they still gonna do them like that.
But a couple of years ago they was saying he
don't care because he just looked like a sorfer and
he don't necessarily care about football like we care about football.
And he's like Sunshine from remember the Titans.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
Right, and we've we've talked about Trevor Lawrence for a while.
I mean, what is he a five hundred record right now?
Do you really think that he's a five hundred quarterback?
Speaker 2 (37:23):
No?
Speaker 1 (37:24):
I mean he is definitely one of the top ten qbs,
I would say, and uh, you know, for four.
Speaker 2 (37:37):
Or five years, he had nobody with him, literally nobody
with him, and he was getting killed by Colts defense,
or he was definitely getting killed by the Texans defense,
and he would you know, he'd get off a little
bit with the Titans defense in that division. Yeah, And
(37:58):
I watched it because that's the same division I work with,
this division that you know what I'm saying, the AFC
South that the Colts are in, and he there's no
way a kid with all the measurables like this guy
that's still playing. Yeah, yeah, it is not going to
(38:19):
be successful if you put the pieces around, then you
have to worry about Is it like one of those
like New York Knicks situations where the owner or the
or I should not the New York Knicks. Let me
say the Cleveland Brown situation where the owner is like notorious,
like I don't want to spend no money and I
(38:41):
don't want to put no money out there. Same thing
with the Cincinnati Bengals, except for they gave Josh Joe
Burrow and my Man Chase and finally paid t Higgins
some money. But they gave three dudes a gang of
money for no reason, Like they just threw it out
there because people told them that they wasn't spending money.
(39:01):
But Jacksonville's a little bit different. Jacksonville was trying to
get these young players from the draft and grow this,
which it seems like they've done at this point, and
then watch Trevor Lawrence grow. Yeah, and I think that
they got.
Speaker 1 (39:16):
You're more pieces. You're gonna have to hold that thought
for a minute, homie. I'm gonna hit you back up
