Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is WWE superstar rear Lee, and you're listening to
sports guys talking wrestling. When they're not covering the sports world.
They're talking about the world or professional wrestling. It's sports
guys talking wrestling. Now here's Stu Myrick. It is sports

(00:22):
guys talking wrestling. Ste Myrick here. Thank you so much
for joining me on this Tuesday of Summer Slam Week
as we get ready for as my good friend Simon
Miller calls it, Hot WrestleMania. Yeah, I like that. By
the way, if you missed, we did a specially It

(00:45):
was myself and Adie Cross, my longtime radio colleague, on
the passing of Hulk Hogan at the age of seventy one,
and we discussed it in pretty good detail. He was
it was good to have Eddies perspective, not only as
a wrestling fan combat sports expert, also as an African American.

(01:10):
So that was it was good and it was timely
and I invite you to check that out. It is
on course, you can find it wherever you get your podcast.
It is also there is a video also on YouTube
on the Sports Guy's Talking Wrestling YouTube channel, so check
that out if you will. Of course, SmackDown and Raw

(01:33):
both had you know, nice tributes to the Hulkster Rob.
In fact, Nick Hogan, his son was there. Looked like
a couple of guys maybe working with him on the
Real American Beer. They were there on the stage with
everybody on Raw. Two very good video packages that were done,

(01:58):
and so it was, it was, it was I think
it was appropriate. There's you know, obviously there's there's some history.
There's some as I as I you know, spoke often
on the special. You know, his the laterly years of

(02:19):
Hogan's legacy are complicated, to be sure, so uh but
I'll let that stand on itself. Of course, we did
a also talked about it on Sunday on the Mark
Coke Show Mark Coke Show Sunday mornings ten to noon Central,
ten am noon Central, eight ten am Pacific on kadon

(02:42):
one on one FM in Las Vegas and streaming live
on the Odyssey A U D A C y app,
which you can also find sports guys talking wrestling. You
can also find uh some other great Odyssey stations one
O five three of the fan of course of the
flagship for the Dallas Cowboy, Zach Walchuck, Bobby Belt, in

(03:03):
the gang up there, good friends. So but yeah, check
that out. It was good. Let's hit Summer Slam. Summer
Slam two nights, Saturday and Sunday. This Saturday and Sunday.
And they're starting early. Be the main the card. We'll

(03:24):
kick off at six pm Eastern on each night. That's
five pm Central right here in Austin, three pm on
the West Coast. And if that's not early enough, the
pre show is going to run three hours each day.

(03:47):
That means the pre show starts at noon on the
West Coast now. And I think they did this for WrestleMania,
but I'm thinking, how do you do three hours on

(04:08):
twelve matches? I mean, I guess you could. And look,
you know, I you know, in my radio days, we
did four our pregame shows for the Longhorns. My friends
up at one O five three of the Fan they
do they'll do two to three hour pregame for the Cowboys.
So I guess it could be done. I think it

(04:29):
might probably be a little easier on Sunday because you'll
go over what happened on Saturday night, and then of
course preview would happened Sunday. Nevertheless, it's gonna be a
lot of WW content on Saturday and Sunday as Summer
Slam comes to us from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford,
New Jersey, the home of the New York Football Giants

(04:52):
as well as the Jets Jets. Jets Jets shout out
Garrett Wilson, who just got paid. Great wide receiver. I
got had the had the privilege of covering him in
high school when he was a he was a Lake
Travis Cavalier of course, then went on to big things

(05:12):
at Ohio State and now doing it up for the Jets. So, uh,
the card. Let's talk about the card. So it is
two days, two nights. We do know the entire card.
We know which matches are happening on which night. Uh,
and we even have betting odds as you know, timely

(05:33):
as it is from our friends at bedonline dot ag
by way of a good friend. Also another good friend,
Jimmy Shapiro, who one of my good friends worked together
at Super Bowls getting interviews. All right, so let's start
with Saturday Saturday matches. Sammy's Ain taking on carrying Cross.

(05:55):
This is a this is Cross's quest to get Sammy's
Ain to admit that he's a bad guy. You know,
I don't know. I'm not. I like Carrying Cross, I
like Scarlett, I like Sammy's Ain. I think this is
kind of a weak storyline, to be honest. You want

(06:19):
him to admit he's a bad guy. Eyah, all right, whatever,
And I think if Sammy wins, Carrying Cross has to
admit he was wrong. All right. They're trying. I guess
the betting odds right now. They say this came out today,
In fact, came out at let's see, I got it

(06:41):
just after eleven am. Central odds right now favor Sammy's Ain.
Sammy's Ain at minus two fifty two to five odds,
Carrying Cross at plus one seventy seventeen to ten odds
odds gives z Aye a seventy one point four percent
likelihood of winning the match. Now and again, I say

(07:02):
this all the time. This is not a prediction. This
is simply how the money is lying on the bet,
So take that for what it's worth. In a tag match,
braun Breaker and Bronson Reid, likely accompanied by the Oracle

(07:22):
now not the Wise Man. Paul Hayman will face the
otc Roman Rains and the former World heavyweight champion j Uso.
This one's the money's all over. Roman and j Roman
range Juso minus fifteen hundred one to fifteen odds, bron

(07:46):
and Braun at plus six hundred and sixty one odds
odds gives rain In usso a ninety three point eight
percent likelihood of winning the match. Which this one, You know,
this one's been built up a quick You know you
had last night on Raw where Bronson, Reid and and

(08:08):
bron breaker pretty much you know, decimate Roman and Jay
Bronzon Reed even took Roman shoes. Man, that's that's cold.
But yeah, that that should be. That should be a
fun match in what likely will be my uh, get up,
get a drink or whatever. The viper Randy Orton teeming

(08:32):
with Jelly Roll to take on Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul.
Now as of now it is Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul.
If you have not heard, Drew McIntyre traveled to the
UK for French wedding over the weekend Monday yesterday, it

(08:56):
came out he stuck in the UK because apparently he
did not have his US passport. He has the UK
passport and the people at the gate would not let
him on the flight. Now I have not heard an update,
so I guess as of now, Drew McIntyre is still

(09:16):
in the UK. I heard I heard one report saying
they were going to have a WW employee go to
Drew's house, which I think Drew lives in Tennessee or
Kentucky get his US passport fly to the UK to
get to give it to him so that he can
make it back. We'll see, but as of now it

(09:40):
is still Randy Orton and Jelly Roll taken on Drew
McIntyre and Logan Paul. Odds Randy Orton and Jelly Roll
minus seven hundred one to seven odds, McIntyre and Paul
plus four hundred four to one odds. Current odds gives
Orton and Jelly Row an eighty seven point five percent

(10:01):
likelihood of winning the match. This is another WW let's
get celebrities on our shows rather than use the talent
that's in the back. But yeah, all right whatever. In
a match for the WW women's tag team titles, Quel

(10:22):
Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez defending against the Allies of Convenience
as we call them, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. This
should be a fun match, evenly matched if nothing else.
Because of the size, you know, Charlotte and Riquel about
the same size, Roxanne and Alexa about the same size

(10:44):
as of right now, betting odds seem to favor a
title change Alexa Blist Charlotte Flair minus seven hundred one
to seven odds judgment or judgment day, Raquel and Roxanne
plus four hundred forty two odds. What is the other one?
Four to one? Huh. Current odds gives Bliss and Flair

(11:06):
in eighty seven point five percent likelihood of winning the titles. Hey,
By the way, this show seems like it will be
heavy on title changes, almost akin to Russell Kingdom New Japan.
For Russell Kingdom they throw out all sorts of title changes,

(11:27):
including usually their World heavyweight title. This one might be
the same. Also on Saturday, Tiffany Stratton defending the w
Women's Championship against Jade Cargill. Jake Cargill winning the Queen
of the Ring Tournaments, she will get a shot at
that title, and the betting odds seem to think Jade

(11:51):
will win the title. Jade Cargill betting odds minus six
hundred and one to six odds. Tiffany Stratton, it's plus
three fifty You're seventy two odds. Current odds give Cargill
an eighty five point seven percent likelihood of winning the
championship and then the main event. Likely the main event
on Saturday, Gunther defending the ww World Heavyweight Championship against

(12:17):
Seeing Punk. This has been brewing. Seem Punk won the Gauntlet,
he will face Gunther. This one's close, but as of
right now, Seeing Punk minus one eighty five to nine odds,
Gunther at a plus one forty seven to five odds.

(12:41):
They've got the percentage messed up, but you can tell
it's it's a little closer. I mean the right now,
the money seems to be lying on Punk. I think
Punk might be a safe pick for that one, and

(13:03):
I should give my picks on these. By the way,
I have heard the scenario that seth Rawlins, who is
not injured, comes in, comes down, cash is in wins
the title. I guess we'll see. You know every purport
you know. Ever since it was reported that he was

(13:25):
that he hurt his knee, I've seen quite a few
that dispute it that it's a work, all that good stuff.
I don't know. I'm gonna go with the face value.
I think seam Punk could win. I think it's possible.

(13:46):
I will agree with I will agree with the odds,
although I think Carrying Cross has a chance to win.
Now there's also the reports, if you believe the rumor
un Window Caring Cross, Scarlett Bodeaux have not been approached

(14:08):
with new deals and their ww contracts run out I
think at the end of August and they have not
been approached to re sign. We'll see what happened that.
Who knows. That's you know again, That's that's the talk
around the campfire. Don't don't have anything from that. I
think the other matches, though, I think we will. I

(14:31):
think Roman and Roman and Jay are gonna win. You're
not gonna have Roman Rains lose. Rain Neworton Jelly Roll
are gonna win because you don't have the celebrity lose.
I think Charlotte and Alexa will win the tag titles.
I think Jake Cargill will win the women's team championship,
and I seem to lean towards seeing Punk winning the
world title. So that's Saturday. I'm gonna take a quick break.

(14:55):
When I come back, I'll go through SummerSlam Sunday. That's
next on Sports Talking Wrestling. Gration Fistration Fistration fist. This

(15:20):
is Chris Saban and you're listening to Sports Guys Talking Wrestling.
Welcome back to Sports Guys Talking Wrestling. Stu Myrick here.
So that was Summer Slam Saturday. So let's talk Summer
Slam Sunday. In a TLC match tables, ladders, and chairs.

(15:42):
It is a six way for the ww Tag Team Championships.
You have the wyat six which I think it's Joe
Gacy and Dexter Loomis facing the Motor City machine Guns
facing Androtti and Ray Phoenix facing Diy facing the Street

(16:03):
pot Profits facing Nathan Fraser and Naxiom. So it is
a six way for the tag team for the tag titles.
As of right now, betting odds seem to favor Androtti
and Ray Phoenix. They are at plus one thirty or
thirteen to ten odds, White six at plus one fifty

(16:24):
three to two odds, Nathan Fraser, Axiom plus two fifty
at five to two odds, Diy Champo and Gergano at
plus five hundred and five one odds, Street Profits plus
seven hundred and seven to one odds, MotorCity machine Guns
at plus one thousand or ten to one odds. Right now,

(16:44):
the odds give Androtti in Phoenix a forty three point
five percent likelihood of winning the titles, and that seems
to be kind of what they're leaning towards. They've been
showing a lot about how Androttia and Rape Phoenix are
working well together. Kind of makes sense. They're both lutadors,
they both came from both came from Triple A, so

(17:10):
I could see it. It's possible. In a no disqualify, disqualification,
no count out match, Becky Lynch will defend the Women's
Intercontinental title against Larra Vakiria. Lara Vikeria wins the match,
beats Bailey to gain another shot at it. This one's

(17:33):
gonna This one's weird because you got Bailey now wasn't
on the Rustlemania card, now is not on the SummerSlam card.
She lost in the tag title match heurned Lyarra against
Raquel and Roxanne. They did the thing last night on
Raw where I think it was. Jackie Redmond asked her,

(17:55):
you know what she's feeling she was pretty despondent. So uh,
right now, the betting odds seem to lean a little
bit towards Lyra. Lyra Vakeria at minus two hundred, one
to two odds Becky Lynch at plus one fifty or
three to two odds. Corn odds give Valkyria a sixty

(18:17):
six point seven percent likelihood of winning the title figure
two to one odds. I that's one I don't. I
think Becky might retain, and I think it might be
because of Bailey. I think Bailey might make an appearance

(18:41):
to cost Lyra the match, and then we will see
the three of them go round and round and round.
I think could be wrong. We'll see in a steel
cage match for the United States Championship, Solo Sokoa defending
against Jacob fa Twu. Jacob fa Twu trying to teach

(19:05):
Solo he can do it on his own. He's had
Jimmy Usso in it by his side. So as of
right now, this is the of the betting odds. Well,
I take that back, there's one other. This is one
of only two title matches that where the champion is
seems the betting money is on the champion Solasca minus

(19:30):
one forty five to seven odds. Jacob Fo two at
plus one hundred or one to one odds odds currently
gives so CoA a fifty eight point three percent likelihood
of retaining the belt. I I don't know. I mean,
Solo seemingly has just he just beat Jacob the steel

(19:54):
cage matches to keep everybody out, but you know how
these go. I get a feeling, so could come out
there still the champion. I think he might retain. For
the ww Intercontinental Championship. Dominic Mysterio taken on AJ Styles.
It's been fun to watch Dominick trying to avoid and

(20:16):
then finally gets cleared and Adam Pierce makes the match.
As of right now, this is the other title match
where the champion has the betting odds favoring Dominic Mysterio
at a minus two hundred one to two odds. AJ
Styles at plus one fifty or three to two odds
current odds give Dominic a sixty six point seven percent

(20:41):
likelihood of retaining this one. I could see going either
way now there's a little bit of so Dominant Stereo
is also booked for Triple A's Triple Mani thirty three
coming up on August sixteenth in Mexico City, where he

(21:04):
will participate in a fatal four way for the Triple
A Mega Championship against El Grande Americano. Which one we'll
we'll find out and I'll tell you about that air
in bed Dragon Lee And of course the current champion
of the Kingo. Do do they want Dominic to go
in there as the Icy Champion? Are they planning to

(21:30):
take the belt off the Kingo? Could they put it
on Dominic? Oh, dear lord. Apparently he got a pretty
good reaction at a recent Triple A show. El Grandia
Americano got a really good reaction apparently, which I don't get.

(21:53):
But okay, I I'm gonna lean aj styles just because
I don't know, because I have a soft spot for aj.
I don't know. Maybe we'll see triple threat match for
the Women's world title, Naomi defending against Rha Ripley and Eosky.

(22:16):
I think this one is one where the champion, yes,
heavily heavily favored if you believe the odds. Naomi minus
fifteen hundred one to fifteen odds, Rea Ripley four to
one plus four hundred Eosky plus seven fifty or fifteen
to two odds. Cronods give Naomi a ninety three point

(22:36):
eight percent likelihood of retaining the title, and I see,
I agree with that because Stephanie Vecour gets a shot
at that title at Clash in Paris coming up at
the end of August, So it makes sense to have
Naomi keep the title, retain it at SummerSlam, and then

(22:57):
maybe lose it to care in Pairs US. So I
believe that one. And then the main event a street
fight for the undisputed WW Championship, John Cena the Unseen
seventeen defending against the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes. This one,

(23:23):
you know, this is the one. Look, the WrestleMania forty
one main event was flat. And I'll say I'll say
the same thing I was saying a couple a few
months ago. The Rock needs to stay the hell away
from booking. Stopped meddling, thankfully. Travis Scott is not. Apparently

(23:50):
he's had a falling out with WW, which is fine
by me. He had no business going down there anyway,
not to match, I was sick of that song. The
only time I will ever agree with Logan Paul that
song graded me, So I would help Triple H wants

(24:13):
to make good because that main event got such bad reviews.
It just it left everybody kind of bad. This is
their first two night SummerSlam. You know that's gonna it's
gonna be that way going forward. I think he wants

(24:33):
to send everybody home happy. So I believe that Cody
Rhoads will become a two time WW champion. And guess what.
As of right now, so does Bad Online dot ag.
Cody Rhoads at a minus three hundred and one to
three odds. John Cena at plus two hundred two to
one odds current odds gives Roads a seventy five percent

(24:56):
likelihood of winning the title. In items tend to agree. Now,
assuming that that's what happens, I've been saying this whole
time that Johnson has to turn baby face because we're
on the retirement tour. You can't have him just go

(25:17):
out as a heel because it just wouldn't work. So
you gotta have him turned baby face. Does it happen here,
We'll see. I don't know. That's Summer Slam coming up
this Saturday and Sunday, six pm Eastern five pm Central
on Peacock from Mettlife Stadium in East Brutherford, New Jersey.

(25:41):
I hope it doesn't rain. Remember when they had they
had WrestleMania wrest Many thirty five there and it rained.
Everybody was coming back and you know, subways were jammed
and all they gets up. So, uh, remember they announced
Late Night with Tony Hinchcliff it was gonna be a
show that weekend. Well apparently that's been canceled. Ticketmaster Sentato

(26:04):
and Alert. The reports are ticket sales were light, which
doesn't surprise me. When Tony Hinchcliff did the WrestleMania roast
or whatever, it was a non televised thing. They weren't
telling you know, they weren't filming it for TV or whatever.
But apparently that got some bad reviews. Apparently that that
went over like a lead balloon, so it wouldn't shot.

(26:26):
It doesn't surprise me. So no Late Night with Tony
Hinchcliffe for Summer slam. H some other news and notes
from WWE. WW has announced two house shows October seventeenth
and eighteenth at Sumo Hall in Tokyo. They are heading
to the Land of the Rising Sun. You gotta believe
Finn Balor will be a part of that show. You know,

(26:48):
you give his given his history with New Japan Parl Wrestling.
Of course, the the original leader of the Bullet Club,
so you know he's going to be there. Aj Styles
is probably gonna be there, another former leader of the
Bullet Club. That should be that that'll be cool. Though.
I mentioned the main event for the Triple A Mega

(27:11):
Championship Triple AI and thirty three August sixteenth in Mexico City,
Dominic Masterio in Grandende, Americano, Dragonly and the Kingo for
the Fatal four way for the Mega Championship. That is
going to be streamed on ww's YouTube channel, so we
will get to see it. That'll be that'll be interesting.

(27:35):
That'll be interesting. Triple Mania uh Los Garza speaking Triple
A apparently they so they are the current Triple A
Tag Team champions. They are going to defend those titles
in an open challenge Friday night on SmackDown. This is

(27:56):
the this is the go home show for SummerSlam. But
they're going to defend the Triple A Tag Team titles
and it's gonna be an open challenge. Let's see who
answers that open challenge. But yeah, Los Carza Triple A
tag champs. Finally, Vince McMahon involved in a car work

(28:19):
last week. This is a report by TMZ. It happened
last Thursday around nine am at nine am Eastern So
and this was before the news broke about hel Covin
passing away nine am on Thursday in Connecticut. And this

(28:42):
is according to the report from TMZ. According to a
crash report, McMahon's twenty twenty four Bentley Very Nice was
traveling northbound on Route fifteen in Westport when it rammed
into the back of a twenty twenty three BMW four
thirty and collided with a median woodn't beam guardrail. They've

(29:03):
got pictures of the vehicle, the Bentley it is. It
is messed up. Debris from the collision flew into the
left side of the two lane highway, and a third
vehicle for Fusion, moving southbound, then ran into it. The
force of the impact was so severe the airbags were
deployed on McMahon's Bentley and the BMW reports state stated

(29:27):
all three drivers were wearing their seat belts, nobody was hurt.
All three cars didn't need to be towed from the
scene about thirty feet of damage to the median guardrail.
McMahon was issued a misdemeanor summons for reckless driving and
following too closely resulting in an accident. He will have
to appear in court later next month. Ah, so you know, glad,

(29:53):
everybody's okay, no injuries, but apparently McMahon probably not paying attention. Yeah,
I drive. I drive in Austin traffic every day. I
see lots of people driving that aren't paying attention like
they should. Nuts, absolutely nuts. So when I come back

(30:19):
from this time outs, I'll talk about ae W. They
got some stuff going on this week. I'll tell you
about next On Sports Guys Talking Wrestling. This is Juce

(30:43):
Robinson and you're listening to Sports Guys Talking Wrestling. Welcome
back to Sports Guys Talking Wrestlings. To myrak, here is
I switch gears talk a little ae W so Dynamite.
Last week you had the new AW world champion, hey

(31:04):
Man Adam Page come out to the adoration of the crowd,
talking about he's going to be a fighting champion. Well
Moxley comes out or actually this challenge I think happened
on collision anyway, bottom line, John Moxley dared him to
give him a rematch, said he wouldn't because he was afraid.

(31:26):
He goes, no, I'll give you a rematch, and everybody's
banned from ringside. So tomorrow night, this Wednesday, Tomorrow night
on Dynamite on TVs APM easton sevent pm Central, we
will have the rematch hey Man Adam Page defending the
AW World title against John Moxley. Allegedly everybody's banned from ringside,

(31:54):
I you know, and there's a lot of people that
are scared they're going to just put the title right
back on and I'm one of them. I don't think
he'll do that because I think hey Man would make
a very interesting champion. I think the Moxle title reign
was a was not good, and I think it'd be

(32:16):
horrible to just put it right back on him. So
let's hope that doesn't have him. They did announce a
tournament to decide the number one contenders for the AW
World Tag Team titles. It was It was weird because

(32:41):
when they first announced the tournament and they showed the brackets,
they show up. They showed the graphic with brackets and
you had FTR and Jet Speed in one corner and

(33:04):
then the rest of the bracket was blank. It was like, okay,
so you're gonna show one match of the tournament. Didn't
make a whole lot of sense. They did eventually announce
the rest of the bracket. It was released by Tony

(33:26):
Kahn on social media. Apparently Tony Khn likes to do
everything on Twitter for the impact or whatever, which, okay, whatever.
So FTR did defeat Jet Speed, so they will advance
the Bang Bang Gang which was Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn.
Colton gun is out again with injury, but Austin Gunn

(33:49):
defeating Big Bill and Brian Keith, so they haven't. They
have advanced the other two matches. The outrunners will face
the Young Bucks in the Gates of Agne, taking on
Brodie King and Bandido, the current Ring of Honor world champion.

(34:09):
The tournament will continue and then the winner gets a
world tag title match at Forbidden to Work coming up
on August twenty fourth in London at the two. So
we'll see who gets served up to the hurt business.
By the way, did you see so Adam Copeland comes down?

(34:34):
I think it was. It was after the FTR win
Adam Copeland comes under the ramp. Now he's been told
already by Stoker, Athaway or Big Stoke that he cannot
touch FTR otherwise he's fired. He was okay, So let's
see last week, last week he is. Two weeks ago

(34:59):
he speared Big Stoke and then last Wednesday he said, okay,
I don't have to touch it. These guys can't. Apparently
he hires the Hurt Business. Here comes Bobby Lashley, Here
comes Shelton Benjamin and they wreck shop, which was funny.

(35:19):
Then there was the there was this whole thing back,
you know, back in the locker room area about you know,
Hurt business. They're doing business. Well, here comes MJF. He going,
why are you hanging? You know, why are you doing
stuff for Adam Coplan. You're supposed to be helping me
win the world title. And Bobby lastly pins him up,
you know, grabs him by the collar, pins him to
the locker and says, we don't we don't do stuff

(35:42):
for you. It My votes back to thumbs down. So
does that mean that Mjf's no longer in the Hurt
business again, which it never really made sense anyway, But
oh well, uh will Osprey man talk about breaking your heart.

(36:06):
He announced last week on Dynamite he has a back injury.
It was I want to say C two Seek six
has slip discs. He's hoping that he does not, he
won't need surgery. He's hoping he can you know, rehabit
through treatment. He's he promises he will be able to

(36:30):
wrestle at Forbidden Door, which makes total sense for Ben
Door is going to be in London, in his home country,
aw New Japan pro wrestling course. You know, Will Osprey
longtime star in New Japan, So of course he wants
to wrestle at Forbidden Door. I hope he did. I

(36:51):
hope he's able to. I also want him to be healthy.
I also want him to take care of himself because
the stuff he does does it takes a toll. So,
you know, as much as I would like to see
him wrestle at Forbidden Door, if it means a better

(37:13):
chance of having of continuing his career, I say, you know, hey,
sit this one out. I hate to say that, but
I get it. I mean he wants to, he wants
to do it. I get it. So someone else taking
some time off. Thunder Rosa a good friend, former aw
Women's World Champion, former n w A Women's World champion. Uh.

(37:37):
She announced I think it was on her podcast that
she is dealing with some injuries. Oh, it was her vlog.
She does have log. She does a blog on All
in Texas. Uh, she didn't announce she is dealing with
some injuries. She's gonna take some time off. I just
I wish the best for her. She's been dealing with
some injuries, you know here lately, she's had to take

(37:59):
time off, that step away from the ring. I feel
for her her husband, Brian, Uh, you know, they put
in a lot of work, you know, and and she does.
I'm I think they still help. Uh. I want to
say they help with Rodney Mack and Jazz at the
dog Bound Wrestling School. I just I hope she can

(38:23):
get healthy again. I want to see her back in
the ring soon. She's a friend, I mean we've hung
out and everything, and Uh, she's dear and I hope
she can get better. So, Uh, collision is going to
be on Thursday. I the the rumor is that T

(38:47):
and T because they have lost the NBA contract. The
NBA is going back to NBC dn T you won't
have anymore, so they're I think they are testing Collision
on different nights. I haven't seen him. It's gonna be
live or taped or you know if they tape it

(39:07):
on Wednesday, but anyway, uh, it will be on Thursday.
And our good friend, our AEW correspondent, in the current
tn T champion, Dustin Rhodes, the Natural, he will defend
that T and T title in a Chicago street fight

(39:28):
against Kyle Fletcher from the Don Kallis family on Collision.
He had a successful title defense against Lee Moriarty from
Shane Taylor Promotions, and now he's gonna face Kyle Fletcher
back to back title and look, it's Dustin. I know Dustin.
I've known him for years. He and I have talked

(39:50):
about this. You know, he's you know, he wants to
be a fighting champion. He's also fifty six years old.
He's eight he's eight months younger than me, so he's
you know. I hope, I hope he knows what he's
doing Chicago street fight, which means don't know d Q,

(40:13):
which means the rest of the don Khalaf family could
get involved. I just hope Dustin has some people watching out,
maybe the Von Erics, maybe Sammy. We'll see, uh, Mercedes Monete.
We have not seen Mercedes since all in Texas when
she lost in her quest to capture the AW Women's

(40:35):
World title from Time with Tony Storm. How or she
has added to her collection. Mercedes Monett was in Coslo,
Poland this past weekend where she won the Prime Time
Wrestling Women's Championship and the Best Ya Wrestling Women's Championship

(40:56):
at a Primetime Wrestling event in Coslo, Poland. She is
the inaugural Prime Time Wrestling Women's Champion. So now Mercedes
Monette has the TBS Championship from AW, the Owen Hard
Cut Belt, the Rev Pro Undisputed British Women's Championship, the

(41:17):
Queen of south Side Belt, the CMLL Women's World Championship,
the European Wrestling Association's Women's Championship, and these two times.
She now has eight belts that we know of. That's
a lot of belts, that's gonna be. That's one hell
of a carry on. Not to mention it's got a
weigh like seventy pounds. That's a lot, a lot of

(41:41):
a lot of belts. But hey, Mercedes Monette I do
wonder when we see her back on aw programming. I
don't know. I mean, it's it's you know, I said
this around all in assuming Mercedes loses, which she did,

(42:08):
how does this effector going forward? Does this begin the downslide?
Could we see her lose that TVs title soon? And
to who? You got this triple this, you know three
this trio of you know, Wicked Women or whatever with

(42:29):
Jillie Hart, Sky Blue and Tackla. Could could she lose
it to one of them? Could she lose it to
you know, Harley Cameron? Could Harley Cameron come back from
her injuries? Or you know, I mean it's there's there's
some possibilities there. It'll be interesting to see what happens

(42:51):
with all that. I'm gonna take a quick time out.
