Episode 19 - After a 3 month, summer break, the lads are back! Liam and Paul reopen "Sticks and Taps" and cover a ton of topics in this jam packed episode including their take on how the NHL and NHLPA have crafted what's been a fantastic Stanley Cup tournament. They discuss if this will be the hardest Cup to win, how will this tourney reflect on certain teams that were eliminated, who's the biggest NHL star now that most of the big names are out, how things shape up for the future and a closer look at the Islanders, Lightning, Knights and Stars in the final four.
The guys also take some time to talk about NHL 1st Round pick Alexis Lafreniere and what he will bring to the NY Rangers, the Seattle Kraken and the continuing tradition of the NHL handshake through the tourney bubble.
Lastly, for the weekly Irish toast, Liam and Paul raise a glass in remembrance of 9/11, Dale Hawerchuk and a special anniversary memory for Liam.
