Mentre Penny, così come già avvenuto per Angus e per Cranna, affronta la sua personale battaglia come testimone dell’Apocalisse del Rosso, Samuel trova un alleato inaspettato in Albin Ryden che riesce a salvare la vita del nostro e di sua madre dalla congrega di Lord Alastair.
Sembra, però, che il destino che attendeva Samuel, apparentemente incorruttibile e quindi inutile ai fini dei piani dell’Informe, minacci adesso sua figlia Lily, che rischia quindi di avere un ruolo importante in ciò che sta arrivando.
