Speaker 1 (00:00):
Uh uh, what's going on? Everyone? Welcome to Strikeout Beer Podcast,
your least favorite podcast. And uh, we're not doing a
beer review. We're not doing a I don't know something
else review. You get the green screen not working there,
We're doing a fireball blazing apple review. That's right. Let's
just hold on a second. Here. Let's let's see what

(00:22):
this bottle says here. This is thirty three percent I'm
called by volume sixty six proof whiskey with natural Flavors
blazon Apple. Yeah, let's let's get into.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
This and you open it, it smells like a green apple.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Well, and I'm gonna be I'm gonna be drinking this
out of my h. Garfield Limited edition McDonald's glass.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Oh he sounds a bitch. I'm telling you, as like
at something else. I think that I want to start
collecting as well as go back to getting these McDonald's
glasses and things like that from our childhood and whatnot
and whatnot, because it's it brings back I don't know.
They say it's our generation that has all this nostalgia, right,

(01:09):
the next generation they don't have it or whatever. It's like, Well,
because we grew up in a kick ass time you know,
the eighties led into the nineties. You know, it just
we had a great, great run of like cartoons and stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
McDonald's wasn't didn't look like a you know, depression clinic
or anything like that. It's you know, big giant. I
don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
It was awesome, but yeah, you know it's not a
pretty life, but somebody has to live it. You know.
We got Odi over here, you know, Odie working, working
like a sucker. Uh but yeah, no, I I come
across these all time, like at the antique malls. But
they're pretty expensive at the antique malls, like a lot
of them are. They're ten bucks plus for one of these, right. Well.

(01:49):
I was at a garage sale a couple of weeks
ago when they had it there, and I was like, hey,
how much for the garfield mook? She's like a dollar?
I go sold?

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Hell, yeah sold. I walked by one the other day
or like last weekend, and I walked by it once
and I was like, I'm not gonna say anything, you
know whatever. I go back and I was like he
was like waving, and I was like, hey, how you doing.
He's like good. Any old games up there? Video games.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
People that run garages are so sick and tired of
hearing people ask about that.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Yeah, you know, I don't want anything else. I don't
want your furniture. I don't want your mirrors, I don't
want your old clothes. I want video games. So all right,
first off from.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
For almost like apple and whiskey.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
I got a lot of green apple on my nose
right now.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Definitely a lot of green apple, for sure. Hey, cheers,
mazz and mazle good things, right?

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Are we going all the way? I'm doing too?

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Okay, that's pretty damn tasty.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
I think I need a big old rock in here.
I'll tell you that. I think I could, Uh hold on,
I gotta.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Let's see here, I have another one of these little guys,
and I'm just gonna be honest with you right now.
Off one sip, I will continue this thought let me,
you know what, let me finish it. But just based
off that one sip I have, I'm probably gonna do something.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
But it's coating my mouth. It's something, it's coating the
inside of my mouth. Uh So, introducing Fireballs first new
flavor blazon, Apple kick Ass Whiskey combo combining our classic
red hot cinnamon with new crisp green apple. You already
mentioned the AVV. It's spicy and sweet with a twist
of juicy green apple. There you go.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
That's pretty you know what, I'm going to say it
right now before I finish it, I'm gonna buy.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
A bigger bottle of this. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
That's pretty damn good.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
It's something I want to drink really cold though, Like
I want it freezing cold on the row the freezer.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Right.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Yeah, well, you know what, I don't know why. I'll
tell you why. I didn't do it because I bought
that beer with it, so I left it in the
bag and just do it the refrigerator. So it's already
warmed up obviously with my hand on the glass and whatnot.
But but yeah, it's like I don't mind, you know.
Even I had like red hots, yeah you know what
I mean, like and that's essentially it's just cinnamon, you

(04:06):
know whatever. But it said that how you know what
I mean? But I do like that. I'd like the
green apple twist to it it. I love that green apple.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
It's really good, man, that's tasty. This gets two thumbs
up for me. I've got another little bottle like this.
And I'm probably gonna knock that back here in a minute.
I don't know. I think we're doing a few more
reviews and stuff.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
That's what we were, you know, we were talking about
this thing, and it was like how cheap it was, right,
and so most of like Total Wine has it for
nine nine cents, Specs has it for a dollar fifty.
Would you get a discount at Specs?

Speaker 1 (04:42):
I need a buck thirty because I pay for my
debit card. Right, if you pay with cash or a
debit card, they give you a I want to say,
it's like a twenty percent discount or something like that, right,
So I ended up paying like a buck thirty for it, yeah,
you know for the little guy in like a bigger
bottle was like twelve bucks. And I was like, I

(05:03):
almost went with the bigger bottle, but I was like,
you know what, let me just try it first, let
me play it cool, Let me play it cool before
I just But now I'm like, yeah, the next time
this weekend when I go and pick up a door
dash order at Specs, I'm gonna take my debit card
in with me and buy a bigger bottle of this.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Yeah, they had the whatever I don't know what you
call what do you call? Is it a court? They
had a court there that's like five bucks, and then
the other one, the whatever, the larger one was like
eleven bucks, twelve bucks, like, oh my god, and I
did look at Could I just get the bigger one
or whatever? It's like, you know what, let me just
get the nip and call it, you know, call the
day and uh, but yeah, I mean this thing it's

(05:44):
pretty damn good. I think. Put in the freezer and uh,
get yourself a deal.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Yeah, that's really damn good. I'm gonna have some more
of this for sure. Again. I've got another one of
these little bottles here, and I'm gonna I don't know, man,
we'll see.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Thumbs up for sure, double thumb's up for me. Not
only is this good, but I'll just go ahead and
tell you right now it's good for you, you know.
And if you don't agree with me, prove me wrong. Oh,
prove me wrong. Okay, all right, I ain't hard to
find prove me wrong. But you know what, guys, we

(06:25):
love you, we appreciate you. Have you had the blazon
Apple fireball. Yet if you have, tell us what you think.
If you haven't, stop what you're doing, go and buy some,
go home, try it and then tell us what you think.
How about that? As always on Allen, I'll talk to
you later.
