Che fine hanno fatto i disegni che Leonardo da Vinci aveva lasciato in eredità al nobile milanese Francesco Melzi? Il professor Gian Vico Melzi d'Eril, discendente dell'erede di Leonardo, ha ricostruito la storia dei fogli dell'artista rinascimentale, seguendone le tracce in Inghilterra, in Spagna, in Francia e anche negli Stati Uniti e raccogliendo aneddoti e storie sui personaggi che negli ultimi cinque secoli sono entrati in possesso del materiale vinciano.
