So there's a lot to unpack there. I think two
main things. There's a week of announcements. So I interpret
this announcement from Greg as Okay, we are not getting

all three max on the exact same. Oh my god,
you're gonna break this again on me? Can I switch?

So the same day Apple's releasing iOS eighteen Dot one
with Apple Intelligence, we're also going to get a new
Mac of some kind, probably with the M four chip.
Very likely, but very likely. Now it's a confirmation from
Apple themselves. This is not a leaker, This is not
an analyst. This is the head of marketing from Apple
sending out this animation with the Winkie face and everything,

saying that we have you know, Mac your calendars, so
it's gonna be Mac refreshes. This is bizarre though Apple
has never prematurely like announced that they're going to have
site refreshes. Usually you just wake up one day and
it happens. But they decided now to just give everybody
the heads up and say we've got a week of
an announcements ahead starting on Monday morning. So who knows,

Maybe maybe I'm interpreting this wrong. And the exciting week
of announcements means that they start out with the iOS
eighteen Dot one launch on Monday, and we don't get
any new Max. But it is confirmation if you were
looking for it. So no, I was not clickbaiting with
my last video saying that M four Max were happening

next week. It's it's definitely happening. Now seems like it's
all confirmed at this point. Margel says, so are we
getting an event or a website refresh? Yesn't. We are
M four AirPod Pro. We need M four AirPods Max exactly.
Rix's I think website refresh and that's it. Yeah, they're
pre pre announcing the website refresh. Basically, they announced that

they are making announcements. Where's the M four polishing cloth,
where's the M four Apple Watch? Is that? What's next?
New AirPods Max? Yeah, honestly at a new AirPods Max

that this is the biggest release week since Apple Silicon,
I mean, M one, Macpicpro, M two, MacBook Air. How
is that bigger than those I suppose? Yeah, that's a stretch.
I don't know if I agree with Mark German saying
that this is the biggest thing to happen to the
Mac since the Apple Silicon transition that was just such
a drastic There was redesigns, and there was new silicon

that was substantially faster than before this. There's one redesign.
The Mac Mini will look different, but Macmcpro's looked the same.
I Mac will look the same. We'll get USBC magic
keyboard and Magic mouse, which is kind of cool, but
not a redesign magic keyboard. It's literally just Type C.
They might Margell says they probably have a fifteen minute

video explaining each of the new products, like what they
did for the M two Max slash MacBook Pro. I
don't know if it'll be a fifteen a video just
for faster performance. You know, Airpod's Max didn't get a
fifteen minute video. It just dropped on the website one day.
The truth is it's it's inconsistent. Apple doesn't have a
pattern that they necessarily stick with every time. That's why

he said, since I would, I would agree that the
M one pro MacBook pros was probably a bigger deal.
M two Maccacare at least was a redesign, so that
felt like a bigger deal, even though the design wasn't
all that great in my opinion. In my opinion that
M one MacBook Air was better in many regards other

than bezels. But yeah, they added back mag safe to
the macpaguarea. I guess that's a big deal, but never
had an iMac. Is the M four a goodbye when
it comes out? I think the M four Mac Mini
is going to be the one to get because if
you were looking for a new Mac setup, you would
not be buying the monitor that's in included with the

twenty four inch iMac. You just wouldn't. The M four
Macmini will give you much more flexibility with external monitors,
which I believe even Mac people are not that picky about.
I don't think Mac people care that much about having,
you know, a two hundred and sixty plus pixel per inch.
I don't think you would go out of your way

to buy a six hundred dollars four point five K
twenty four inch monitor. But that's that's basically what they
make you buy. If you're buying an iMac. It's like
buying a Macmini with a mandatory twenty four inch monitor.
And I think you would much rather just buy any old.

You can get very very nice monitors now, like the
one I'm using. I'm biased because they did send it
to me, but still the one I'm buying was less
money than a pair of AirPods. It was like a
couple hundred bucks for a thirty two inch fourteen forty
P which is been fine for me, But you could
do four K. I just wanted the higher refresh rate.

You could do a four K monitor for much cheaper.
That's bigger, and just put the Macminnie on the back.
You could like mount it in the way or whatever.
So I would I would recommend going Macbinnie. I don't
think the iMac is worth it, but Jason says, I'm
sticking with them one pro sixteen inch MacBook. I don't
need a new one. I'm with you. I'm not planning
on upgrading. The Mac Minni is what I'm most excited for. Though,

because it hasn't been leaked and it hasn't been redesigned.
It has been redesigned, but we don't know what it

minute explanation on Cowboy Frog capability. Yes, the new Mac
Mini will support Cowboy Frock. I quit Max after they
took away in video. They don't have any decent GPU,
at least for the three D apps I use. The
graphics has gotten much better and more recent generation, particularly

with the M three trip supporting rate tracing, and the
M four is supposed to be even better than that.
But yeah, if you don't if you don't optimize the
software to take advantage of the R architecture for GPUs,

to that is the M two. MacBook Air has been
around now for several years, so there's nothing wrong with
buying it. Just don't buy it brand new from Apple
because you can find them much much cheaper, certified, refurbished,
or on Amazon renewed. Amazon renewed, by the way, has
a ninety day return policy, so even if you buy

it and you find out you don't like it or
there's damage on it, usually there isn't. By the way,
it's been a pretty consistent experience, but you can buy
one and use it for two months and then send
it back if you decided you didn't like it, or
you want to wait for them three or whatever. I

just announced via this animation on Twitter that they are
going to announce new Macs throughout next week. But it
starts on Monday morning, so I interpret that as Monday
we're gonna get one Mac, Tuesday we'll get a different Mac,
and Wednesday we get a different Mac. So my speculation
is that it's gonna be something like MacBook Pro Monday. Monday, Monday, Monday,

MacBook Monday. I'm for MacBook will get you know, the
M four MacBook pros, which will have three USBC ports
and sixteen gigs of RAM on the base model, hopefully
at the same price. We don't know the price yet,
and then the next day on Tuesday, we'll get the
M four iMac with the USBC keyboard and mouse. It'll
charge the exact same way, just with Type C instead

of Lightning. And then on Wednesday we'll get the redesigned
Mac Mini. That would be my guess. It could be
in any order, but that's my prediction, is that they're saying,
you know, Mac releases are gonna be all next week.
This is confirmed, by the way. This is not a leak,
This is not a rumor. This is an Apple released
animation from Greg Joswiak, who is the head of marketing
from Apple. But yeah, their press releases, it's not technically

an event, but they're announcing that they're going to make announcements.
And that's why I decided I could do like a
two minute recap video, or I could just go live
and see everybody's reaction. In real time, which is kind
of fun. The live streams don't perform as well for
my channel, but I don't care. I enjoy reading the chat.

I would say it's it depends on your definition of
an event. There may be videos that go live next
week when the announcements happen, but it will not be
a live stream. But to be fair, even when we
have an Apple event, the events are not live really.
I mean they're live broadcasted, but they're pre recorded, so

But can we just give a shout out to this
MacBook Pro that's live streaming. I'm using the onboard microphone
on my m one Max MacBook Pro. This thing still
handling it like a champ. I'm using the onboard microphone.
I'm using the on board webcam. This is not continuity camera.

And look how well it is masking out my face
and hands as I hold my hand in front of
the animation. This is a three year old MacBook. And
look at how good the neural cores are at articulating
what to mask out with my hand and my head
as I move around like this MacBook is crushing it

and fan it's not even hot, the fans aren't even on.
It's live streaming all this. Yeah, like you can so
all of that to say that, well, yes, we're getting
new M four MacBook pros in just a couple of days.
M one variant is still incredible. It's still exports videos
super fast. The speakers are fantastic. I use them every day.
I don't even have a dedicated spare of speakers anymore.

I just use my onboard MacBook speakers because they are
that good. The webcam is great, the microphone quality is great.
It's just favorite Apple product. The sixteen Pro Max has
been a big disappointment. Can't get freaking continuity camera to work,
So I guess I don't need this mounted up there anymore.
But AnyWho, let's see why not a redesigned Apple TV

box because it has been the same TV box designed
since two thousand and eight. How many different ways can
you design a box You need to invert the camera.
The problem is whenever you do screen capture, it inverts it. Anyway. Hey,

I can't wait for the event, although I'm not buying
anything that might get announced happy with my M two Max. Yeah,

M two Max is plenty. Hey, we got Randy in

are so good that the only way they can make
you upgrade is by software locking you. That's probably the
approach they're doing. But so far, I don't think I've
been software locked out of anything. Maybe next week, that's
what they're going to announce, is that these new M
four Max have new Apple intelligence features that are only

possible thanks to the sixteen gigs of memory and the
redesigned neural cores. So your M three and your M
two Max can't do some kind of mac os intelligence features.
Maybe that's what it is, because this is definitely intelligence
themed with the color thing lighting up around the edges
and all that dpax is finally the base fourteen inch,

we'll get sixteen gigs. That's most likely what it's looking like,
because the Russians have already got their hands on an
M four MacBook Pro and unboxed it and done geek
bench tests. But to be fair, we don't know technically
if the Russians had the base model. We just know
that the models that they had were using the base
M four chip, so we assumed it's the base model,

but you could always spec an M three base model
MacBook Pro to have more RAM. It's only two hundred
dollars extra if you cared about that. People made a
big deal out of it. It's like, oh, sixteen hundred
bucks for eight gigs of RAM, and I'm like, uh,
just just speck it up. If you really want sixteen
gigs of RAM. It's still cheaper than the outgoing model,
because before, if you wanted a fourteen inch macbik Pro

you had to spend two thousand. Now you can spend
sixteen hundred. The specs were a little worse, But yeah,
I think the RAM bump is most likely. But the
caveat to that is we don't know if the RAM
bump comes with a price bump. It's entirely possible that. Okay,
now there's sixteen gigs of RAM by default, but it
starts at eighteen hundred instead of sixteen hundred, in which

case nothing really changed. There's just a cheaper model that
they've removed because it upset too many Techi people that
we're not going to buy that model anyway. I've been
seeing the M one Pro hold its price similar to
the most recent models. Look around, they've been around for
a while. You can get an m one pro MacBook
Pro for probably close to one thousand bucks now, and

it's just an amazing piece of piece of hardware. Just
everything about it. It's got a pro motion display, it's
a high dynamic range Mini LED panel, it has a
great webcam, great microphones, great speakers, it's just massive trackpad.
It's got decent io, you got HDMI, got the SD
card slot. Things you won't find on the MacBook Air.

Fine have sixteen gigs of RAM now for two hundred dollars.
More good, more good. Try to try to fine tune
my evil Tim Cook, morna good, morna two hundred bucks
price bump is just around the corner. Well, to be fair,
there were no price hikes with the iPhone lineup, and

there was also no price hikes with the new iPad Mini,
even though the RAM was doubled and the storage was doubled.
So we got double the RAM, double the storage, same price.
Hopefully they feel like doing the same thing with the MacBooks,
but I'm guessing most of the tech community is gonna
be like ungrateful about it. They're gonna be like sixteen gigs. Buh,

up one morning and it happens. This is the first time.

is not a leak. This is a straight up announcement
from Apple. Why not add a micro SD card slot
on macbick Pro because pretty much every micro SD card
in the world comes with an SD card adapter, so
why not add a sea fast card reader as well.
You know, there's all kinds of different SSD types that

you could build into the side. They probably just went
with the most common one, which is an SD card.
Micro sds are pretty common, but typically devices that record
to micro sds also will have USB, so you can
just plug them in via Type T. They got to
give us M one users all the AI stuff. Oh
they should, They absolutely should give us all the AI stuff.

But will they Will they find a way to software
lock us out, or maybe they'll lock you out via RAM.
Maybe they'll say these Apple intelligence features we've come up
with require sixteen gigs of RAM, so you can still
use them if you have an M one chip, but
only if your M one chip is equipped with sixteen
gigs of RAM or more. Maybe they'll do that. I

don't know when Max might get the iPhone fifteen treatment.
Apple's stupidity. Not a live event, but there will be
stuff happening beyond just a press release. Correct. But to
be fair, even the live events are not live anymore.
Apple hasn't had a live event in years. All the

broadcasted live, but they're not taking place live. So is

tweeted in thorough bullet point fashion exactly why I don't
care about any of those features. Jen Moji's are just gimmicky.

There's not a big list of I don't use ninety
percent of the emojis on my phone, and Apple's telling
me to make more. I don't have a lack of
emojis in my life personally. Maybe gen z does, but
it's hardly going to work in a bunch of third
party apps if they're you know, other Android users reading
the emojis, or there's a bunch of websites that aren't
going to know how to read emoji, so it's just

going to default to sending a JPEG, which is just
kind of cringing and weird. I think it'll be about
as gimmicky as memojis and emojis and slow fies, which
is that a few techie people know about them, but
the vast majority don't know. Also, image playgrounds is not
a new concept. There's dozens of free apps already, like
Facebook Messenger. I think open ai has one, Soora or something.

But yeah, there's a million apps that let you come
up with AI generated Gemini does it. I'm sure, I
know Grock does it, but I guess Grock costs money.
But still, it's not a new thing by any means
that you just put in a prompt and have it
spit out an image. It look all AI images look
the same. They all have that fake artificial look and
feel to them. You're going to use it a bunch

when it comes out and then never again. And Chat
to BT integration, it's like just download an app. You
don't need to buy a whole new phone and run
developer beta software just so that you can access Chat
to BT. You can maybe chat or text and or
call Apple first before making a trip. Yeah, good luck,

Intel Mac, you would have been totally fine buying a
refurbished M one sixteen inch MacBook and probably would have

saved two thousand dollars and still it would have been
a massive improvement. I thought you were a millennial. I
don't know where you got that impression. Everyone has different
opinions on when the timelines drop. But if you google it,
I think that the first response is that gen z
is people born in ninety seven or later. Some people

say it's two thousand or later, means I can clean.
That's great. iPad is that some of the same features
as my Max I think getting features at the same time,
but they might be behind iOS. I would not be
surprised if it's behind iOS, because iOS always gets things.
iPad os is always last to everything, almost intentionally. My

one pro Bacbook Pro fourteen inch overheats frequently. Already run
all the diagnostics. What should I do restore it? I
would ask Apple. I am not tech support. Everyone always
assumes I know exactly what's wrong with their computer. No,
I haven't had any overheating issues with mine, so I
don't know. I would check with Apple, not random YouTube

live streams You're far less likely to get customer support
and technical support help in a YouTube live stream than
you are just asking Apple. And if you ask Apple,
they'll probably tell you to buy a new one, or
they'll run diagnostics on it and tell you if the
fan is broken, and maybe they'll fix it, or maybe

they'll not. I don't know, but I just know the
best way to start. If you're ever having technical difficult
please with your Apple hardware, best thing to do is
check with Apple support first, not with random YouTubers. Taylor's yeah,

sticks in the world as a media consumption device. I
don't think so, because fire sticks are all like one
hundred bucks and the M four Macmeni is probably gonna

from Intel to M three max is such a big jump,

from Intel to M one max is such a big jump,
and it blew my mind. You don't know what you
had if you never had it. So if you just
saved your money bought an M one Max, you'd have
money and you'd be impressed. Bingo. I don't know what
you're using on your Mac, but I would rather have
the money if I were you. No reason to upgrade

from an M one Pro. The hardware is the same,
minus support being better and a better chip set. Yeah,
I mean there's some reasons to get an M two
at least or an M three. Like if you wanted
an Hdmi two point one port, you don't get that
on the M one variant, which is kind of an
edge case. I don't know if that many people care
about having Hdmi two point one, but yeah, that's one

of the small differences. Nothing we'll ever touch the high
form when the high from when the M ones came out, Yes,
that was a big deal. That was a huge, huge
upgrade just hardware, software, silicon everything. There was never an
upgrade that substantial. We'll probably never get one that big again.
Amazon servers might get a problem once Macmini size changes.

I would be surprised if Amazon used macmini's, but yeah,
they're gonna have to update them. Maybe that's part of
the redesign, is they make them more rack friendly. There's
an option where they specifically let you buy Macmini's that
are just slide right into the racks, rather than buying
Mac Mini that you have to then buy a separate
rack for because obviously Mac Mini out the box is
just a box. It's just rounded corners and flat edges.

So if they redesign it kind of like the MacPro
where you have an option to check out to make
it rack friendly and the rails are just built right
into it, that might make it easier for enterprise use.
Everyone deserves the latest and greatest. Take the plunges. Live

I would say, save your money. We're facing more and

more challenging financial situations. You know, the difference between the
cost of living and the average income is constantly widening,
which is all the more reason to live a little
