Speaker 3 (01:05):
Him. Well, well, well, David, some take to Radio. I'm
filling in for Pam and I'm here with three people
who just make me want to smile all day and
forget that there's trouble going on elsewhere. Thank you for
joining me.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
Guys, absolutely, you know that I'm gonna take it from here.
I am Anthony, and you all know me. I'm loud,
I'm fun, I'm obnoxious. Even at times I am joined
by Candace. Say hi, Candace, we are joined, as you say,
(01:52):
but we are really really, really happy, proud, excited, all
the things, all those adjectives that you can think of
to say that this evening, dramatically and maybe even sometimes comedically,
we will be sharing the beginning of our last preteen
year with all of you out there listening. That's right, folks,
take you radio is twelve years old. Now I need
(02:16):
to hear some wool who's, some who who's and some
whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa? Can you? Whoa? Whoa?
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Whoa?
Speaker 4 (02:25):
Can you?
Speaker 5 (02:25):
Whoa whoa?
Speaker 4 (02:30):
Jasus and I have been here for about half of
that time, and it's been an amazing experience. Ashley just
joined us a few weeks ago. What are we going
on a month and a half?
Speaker 1 (02:44):
I think, yeah, yep, yep.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
Awesome, awesome, awesome money. And of course David has been
here since almost the beginning. So David, when you've been
there twelve years, you know we'll get to Pam in
a moment. But when you think about twelve years of
the show, you know, talk to us a little bit.
What are you feeling in your heart? Are you palpitating?
Speaker 3 (03:06):
Oh god? I remember I joined in about February of
twenty thirteen, so I came on a little late because
Pam had already someone there. But I was always in
the background, and then when Dawn stepped aside, Don Mac
(03:34):
was she was going to close, and I said, no,
don't do that. I think I know someone who could
probably help you out. And she says, who who would
that be? I says, you're talking to him? And from
then on his history.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
And throughout the years, there's been some me and fun
and combative co hosts. You know, we're kind of like
the view here in the soap opera world. We've had
some I will definitely absolutely shout out our friend Vinnie,
who will pop in now and then, but you know,
his internet stuff has really taken awesome. Congratulations to you, Vinnie. Oh,
I'm getting there. But my favorite co host, you know
(04:21):
that I've worked with and who had been with the
show before I got here, and also pops in and
out whenever her schedule permits, it's miss Carolyn. So if
you are out there, Sweetie, Hey, hey, hey, we miss shown.
But I'm doing a lot of talking. Candice. You talk
to you, talk to our beloved leader. Congratulate our Pam.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
What can I say about Pam that hasn't been said before? No,
that was not rehearsed. I just came up with it myself.
Speaker 4 (04:51):
Just now.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
You know, Pam is like a leading lady of daytime rama.
Speaker 4 (05:00):
She's always there.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
She's the first on a call.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
Shee.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
She tells us what to do and what not to do.
But we don't listen to her anyway.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
We're on fired.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
No, she she puts us in chaps when we do
need to be put in check sometimes and again sometimes
we don't listen. No, I'm just joking, Pam. No, but
Pam has really put together a well or machine, like
you said, throughout the years, you know, different people have
come past here, some have stayed, some has gone on recurring,
(05:45):
some of us got recruited, and some of y'all just
you know, her decision was very questionable, especially when it
came down to me.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
But uh none. Nonetheless, you know.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Pam has created this family, this family and also a
show that a lot of the soap actors who have
come come through the doors have said, you know, this
is a well it's perfection, you know, and we have fun.
Speaker 4 (06:16):
So Pam us you sweetie, you know I want to
I want to throw in. Also we have had oh
my god, when I think about the amazing conversations the
guests that we have had on this show, and ninety
nine point four percent of that. You know, once in
a while one of us will get something to bring
(06:36):
in for the show, but ninety nine point four percent
of that goes to Pam. And it is a lot
of work behind the scenes to co ordinate with some
of these you know, we love you all, CBS, SABC, Peacock,
but it is a lot of work and firewalls to
go through to. Finally, you know, when you get a
Jacqueline demon on a podcast like this, when you get
(06:59):
a kin shiner. You know when you get Michael I'm sorry, yes,
Jusane Rogers. You know when you get these folks. You
know that Pam put in hours, if not you know,
days worth of work to set it all up. So
for all of that too, for all of the great
(07:20):
conversations we've had, you can thank us. We'll take it absolutely,
come on, let's grap ourselves, but thank him as well. Yeah. So, Ashley,
how you doing tonight? I'm good, I'm good. How are
you good? Good? Good? How long did you listen to
us before you decided to take that brave step and
(07:40):
join us?
Speaker 5 (07:43):
I would say probably off and on for like the
past six or seven years. I would say really, so, yeah, wow,
so's it's been a while and I would like follow
on social media.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
Uh so, yeah, that's an interview that stands out to
you that we've had one or two.
Speaker 5 (08:09):
I really loved when you had Naomi Matsudan and Tim
you can't.
Speaker 4 (08:17):
All right, those are my favorites. So we will give
you the honors again this evening. Where do you want
to start tonight? Let's start with bold and beautiful, all right,
so listen what's been happening in the last two weeks.
Speaker 5 (08:35):
So I hope that it would be a grand idea
to model lingerie for Harder uh Forster Creations. And Finn
comes in and she like tackles him on starts, you know,
on top of him, thinking it's Carter and it's totally not.
(08:55):
And then Steffy comes in and see her on top
of her, so everything all kind of like you know,
hits the sand after that, and stuff is like, I
told you stay off my husband. I warned you.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
You didn't listen.
Speaker 5 (09:16):
So Hope for the future gets asked and oh yeah, btw,
you're getting fired as well because I warned you.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
And you didn't listen.
Speaker 5 (09:26):
So she fired her and pretty much holder you're you're out,
Like all this is going on, Hope had so many
opportunities to like tell her like I didn't realize, like
I was really modeling launderie for Carter. I wasn't expecting
Send to walk in. He didn't say anything.
Speaker 4 (09:42):
I feel like.
Speaker 5 (09:43):
Hope could have totally maybe saved her line and possibly
even her job if she just would have said something,
and she didn't open up her mouth, didn't say anything
at all. So I feel like that has been going
on for the past two weeks. Everyone finds out Forrester
(10:06):
that Hopes being acts, so she has to do like
the walk of same in front of Ridge and Zende
and everyone. She ends up killing Carter, so you know,
Carter is furious and pretty much talks to her Ridge
about it, and Ridge is siding with Staffy. I almost
(10:32):
feel I almost feel like I'm like waiting for Hope
and Carter to like retaliate somehow, But honestly, I don't
know how they're going to do that, but I just
like they're not going to take this.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
Lying down.
Speaker 5 (10:46):
And then uh, last Poppy, once you go visit Luna
in prison, I was kind of surprised to be that,
but I loved it because I would go throw to
see Luciamatta again and me pretty much said like, I
still love you, but you hurt me incredibly and you
(11:06):
crusted me, and I don't really know if I can
forgive you right now. And she pretty much like left her,
but before.
Speaker 4 (11:13):
She left, she gave Luna a nice little tidbit that
she and.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Bill broke up.
Speaker 5 (11:18):
Surprise, Bill gets a letter from Luna same day, and
pretty much the letter is telling Bill how much Luna
still cares for him, and she ends up burning the
letter or he ends up burning the letter at the
end of the episode, and someone with vision correct me
if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure at some point
(11:39):
throughout that episode Luna was sitting in her jail cell
kind of smiling as Bill was burning the letter, or
after Bill burning the letter or something. So that kind
of tells me that we haven't seen the end of
Luna Mazawa. I think she'll be back. I think she'll
come back, So Dath's gonna happen.
Speaker 4 (12:05):
And I'll talk to us.
Speaker 3 (12:08):
Well right now, I'm intrigued because with Will and Electra,
something very wrong with her, and they showed a nice
shadowy figure in black.
Speaker 4 (12:28):
I believe.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
I'm looking at a photo of her, so I'm not
sure if he is a stalker or he's looking for
her because she's in trouble with him. So it's gonna
be interesting for mister krew Morrow. And I can't Can
you tell me that anyone got the name of the
(12:53):
beautiful actress that plays Electra.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
I forgot her name.
Speaker 5 (12:58):
Oh her last name is great?
Speaker 3 (13:02):
Is that Lena?
Speaker 4 (13:05):
I think so?
Speaker 5 (13:05):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Lenaya Grace.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
I like her. I am liking her. She's intriguing, I.
Speaker 4 (13:18):
Do, and I do think that there could be a cool,
cuckoo crazy vibe with her. But go ahead, David, sorry,
and any sands her up.
Speaker 3 (13:27):
And I'm interested this. We'll get the younger the younger
group going again. The other thing, Oh, we got our today,
we got our uh, we got an answer to our question. Candace, Hi, Anthony.
(13:52):
We found out that Jessica is is Ivy's brother's daughter.
Ivy Elektra is Ivy's brothers.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
I'm yeah, that's when they messed up.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
Yeah, they messed up, all right, Kansas. Okay, So you
know this is the time of the year. We're bowing
to beat four cons and goes Winkley walkly as they
wrap up the year. As we go into the new year,
I will say this when it comes down to hope
(14:37):
for the future. Look, let's let's brass tack. Okay, bo
I'm gonna give you points, but I'm gonna have to
take away a point.
Speaker 4 (14:44):
Because you need to make a decision.
Speaker 1 (14:46):
And I know you don't want to do this, but
they should have already been in play. We don't know
the current status of Matthew Atkinson. Let me repeat, we
do not know the current status of a saying okay.
We do know that he just celebrated his anniversary and
his baby is on his way, so God blasts.
Speaker 4 (15:06):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
However, bold Brad camere. You could have done something that
General Hospitals didn't do correctly at all. Thomas is a
key factor in two of your stories, the whole situation
with Taylor, which I ain't gonna touch because that I'm
(15:30):
yet okay.
Speaker 4 (15:32):
But with this hope for the.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
Future force the creation thing, he is definitely missing from them,
especially when it comes down to hope. Now, Hope, I
get why you didn't say nothing. I totally get why
you didn't say anything, because to me, in the way
you look at it, Saphie was going to kick her
out even if she told the truth or not.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
Because here's the thing, Hope was trying to model Launde
your right. Was it a day job role.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
For some of us who watched vulnerbies because it was
like again when Staffie did it and also when Hope
did it a couple of times. Right, Okay, the thing
instance that Hope tripp Hope was kluky and that's how
she landed on fence. But at the same time, I'm like, crap,
you know, like Saffie has been black like saying if
(16:23):
you come near my husband and all this stuff. But
to me, I feel it though, that was a CRUs
like all right, Hope, Staffie. First of all, nobody's doing
their job at force the creation, so I'm gonna be
the one to do it. Staffie, if you were real
serious about cutting Hope for the finture because of the numbers,
you wouldn't done it a long time ago. You just
(16:44):
wanted to.
Speaker 4 (16:45):
Play with that girl's emotions point point. Okay, that's what
you were doing.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
You were playing with her emotions and kind of being
that I don't want to say bully but you were
kind of being like that.
Speaker 4 (17:00):
Okay, yep, Hope, I'll say it. Oh, bully, bully, bully, Hope.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
You know the reality is that your numbers weren't matching
up to the previous quarter.
Speaker 4 (17:11):
Therefore you as an adult.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
Because let me say something just right now, Hope, is Seffie,
y'all are not sixteen, y'all, not twenty six y'all, and
y'all mid early mid thirty, late thirties, early forties. Okay,
so we're gonna stop this little game what we call
okay at the end of the day, Hope, if I
was you, and I think I said in my head
a couple of times when Seppie said that my company
(17:37):
was going to be dropped, you know what I would
have said, Hope, because this is what I want you
to Hope, understand this, Sweetie. You have the same maturity
as Steffie. And let me break it down seasons when
I say that, I would not have say that forced
the creations, given effect of how they treat me and
(18:01):
my mother, and I would have left a couple of
times like okay, yes for those who are sitting in
the back, because I know this triggered a lot of people.
When Carter said that force the Creations was hoped birth right. Okay,
let me kind of help y'all out for those who
was always.
Speaker 4 (18:19):
Playing Let's go back in Tom.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
When Ron Mass was playing Ridge, there a scene in
which Taylor I believe he had died or she was
sick or something, where they were talking about the shares
of force the creations. Taylor Sharfs was going to go
to the three children Thomas.
Speaker 4 (18:41):
Stebee, and Saftey.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
Rich and Brooke had to figure out what to do
with their part of the shares, especially Hope, especially Brooks. Therefore,
the shares were going to go to Hope in our day. Therefore,
Hope does have some steak in force the creations, Okay, Rich,
okay did? But do do I feel as though the
(19:06):
word birth right should have been given?
Speaker 4 (19:10):
No?
Speaker 1 (19:10):
I don't.
Speaker 4 (19:11):
But at the same time, her mother says, force the creations, okay,
more than one.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
Now, Hope. Here's where I'm gonna have to kind of
get back on you again. Hope for the Future was
something great, but if he's to core parents of companies,
Quinn's blind without doing your line, But this is where
Thomas needs to be in this storyline. Because I always
said it should have been Thomas versus Seffy.
Speaker 4 (19:42):
Regarding y Kevin Carter there is.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Interesting because he is to see oh oh he is
Rich's front. However, you can tell the story has shifted
because of a missing person. I will give bold credits
for trying to write around.
Speaker 4 (20:01):
The situation of the situation.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
But it's very noticeable because you do have characters. That's
kind of being taken out of characters a little bit,
if that makes sense. But at the end of the day,
hope you shouldn't even walk out with your head held down,
which to shut it down would be like this, well
you know what, thank you stopping for premiming right, because
at the end of the day, it wasn't about the business.
(20:25):
It was just you trying to make me feel embarrassed.
Speaker 4 (20:27):
But that's fine.
Speaker 1 (20:28):
I will take myself and I will go this is
what I need both listen to Candace, okay, and I
will write if you need me to. I'm going to
need this to be a story where y'all did this
a couple of years ago. You got it, you had
it right, but you.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
Had it wrong.
Speaker 4 (20:44):
I need this to be a part two of California Dreams.
Versus force the creation.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
I'm going to need for Hope to get a secret backer,
see j Garrison.
Speaker 4 (21:01):
That's a good choice. But let me let me let
me because.
Speaker 1 (21:06):
When total because you know, you don't want to rope
oh God, pull out, pull him out, pull him out?
Speaker 4 (21:16):
Rick, Oh Rick, Rick, Jill. Okay, have writ because here's
the thing. You want somebody to go toe to toe
with Docky that actually wrote back down.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
You want to go with somebody that's told the toe with.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
Rick that won't back down.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
You go ahead and get Rip Forster.
Speaker 4 (21:33):
Yeah, let me let me let me ask you this
question before I give my thoughts. I steal the fact
that and you know, and Ashley brought it up, and
you know, I feel the fact that Hope didn't stay
a word. There is something already in the works that's
gonna drop.
Speaker 5 (21:53):
So mm hmm.
Speaker 4 (21:56):
Do you are you on that kind of sniffing tour
with me?
Speaker 3 (21:59):
If they played something I thought I saw?
Speaker 4 (22:07):
What did you see in the previews?
Speaker 3 (22:09):
Vague?
Speaker 4 (22:10):
So Michael process, I'm going to go all the way
back to the you know I can, I can go
back to the very early eighties with soaps. I hate
to say it, but I have been watching them since
I'm three, so you know, do the math slightly in
your head. One thing that soaps gave up early in
the nineties was using their off canvas characters through telephone,
(22:32):
through the person, you know, the person reading the letter
and the inner monologue in their head with the letter.
Soaps have gone so far away from you know, that's
that trope, which good bed you know, we can all
debate that back and forth. I think Days of Our
Lives has successfully had met trope back on and off
(22:57):
for the last like three since before the right people
at the time jump, they really started to use characters
that were off canvas, shaving things that were gonna happen,
or using it as you know, bridges to something else
in the storyline, et cetera, et cetera generally, actually, yeah,
especially with Beyond Salem. Yes, I also think that lately
(23:20):
General Hospital has been better at it as well.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
Both.
Speaker 4 (23:24):
You have so many characters that are key characters. You know,
I'm gonna throw one of my favorites, Felicia. You have
so many characters that we have no idea. This is
a family show again that you get the family business rivalry.
Thirty minutes soap opera exactly. We have all of these
you know, characters waving in the wind. Matthew, I truly, truly,
(23:50):
truly hope that we get you back as Thomas. But
if we don't, we need a Thomas. Thomas has now
become the thorn of both and the beautiful. We pull
him in for a storyline to shock up stuff, et cetera,
et cetera, et cetera. Then we don't know what to
do with him. Then something happens and either the actor
gets frustrated, whatever whatever, or whatever, Thomas goes away. He's gone.
(24:10):
It's you know, it's really time. It is really time
for the for the Thomas Stephie showdown. It's really time
for Thomas and Stephie to really hash out things about Phoebe,
about their parents, about what they have supposedly done for
each other. And we're those the trument you know, motivations.
But before we get to all of that, I definitely
(24:33):
want a you know, a nice arc build up too.
I'm here to take my sister down. Anybody want to respond.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
I'm waiting for it. Do this on our own like that.
That's the thing, Like Hope, the way that they're setting
this up and sometimes I hate when they do this.
Speaker 4 (24:54):
And I don't use the word hate because I really
don't like that word.
Speaker 1 (24:57):
But it's getting to that point where it's like, okay,
Hope can never win against Sefe and I think it's frustrating.
Speaker 4 (25:07):
It's because we saw an earth. I mean, look, Sepsie
and Hope are is no brooking Sephanie. Okay, let's let's
cut let's cut that out.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
The problem is is that Hope the way that they
write this version of Hope, and it's not on a
good fault. I'm fault the actors. Okay, I'm fault in
the writing for the characters right now. It's like they
lost a piece of herr something because if this was
(25:37):
Hope from previous, oh yeah, her and Stephie would go
toe to toe. But because they want to make the
point of Hope is the one that needs the most support.
Speaker 4 (25:49):
See.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
Uh dated you know versus Goliath, right, But it's getting
played out because again, there's certain times and there's certain
people that should be on here if you're really going
to do it, because if this is over a guy,
I'm sorry, no sense to send like send I love you,
you know that.
Speaker 4 (26:11):
But Sepie girl.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
This chos your insecurity and that's where the show needs
to start playing that that bip is Steffie is insecure
about her relationship because she's never had this before.
Speaker 4 (26:26):
Sorry to the lead with Steffie fans out there. I
love models to her by her parents.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
Parents, right, That's what I've always said from the jumps Thomas,
Hope and Steppy because Rich is not there, they had
front road seats to seeing all of the mass that
their parents and grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, brothers and
sepsters and all them. Stuff has gone through to the
(26:53):
point where they should be the one to make it better. Yes,
Jeffie and Hope made sure to do the cold and
saying bravo. But still y'all are still doing the same
thing that your parents are doing and it's getting tired
now Again when it comes down to this business, Hope,
you need to find a backer.
Speaker 4 (27:14):
I'm going to need for this to be where.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Okay, Jesse, because of you and Ridge, some people would
have started skipping out, and it's like, wait a minute,
hold up, So this was a personal matter and not
a professional situation.
Speaker 3 (27:33):
Look at it.
Speaker 4 (27:37):
It's not because it was again it was pose. It
was a professional situation, sucky sesse and Ridge could and
Eric could have cut Hope long ago because the numbers
weren't matching up. But the fact that Suffee was literally
kind of playing saying, okay, because Hope has quote unquote feelings.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
For my husband, I'm.
Speaker 4 (27:59):
Gonna I having to just have a choice.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
But SEPPI, what when you're thinking, because clearly, what if
she said, you know what, I don't want the company,
I'm good, I want your man. What was you done then, Saffie, I'm.
Speaker 4 (28:14):
Just asking for a friend, because because you really.
Speaker 1 (28:19):
Was playing stupid with that.
Speaker 4 (28:22):
But yeah, but she also plays sing like she has
nothing to lose, you know, right.
Speaker 1 (28:29):
Because because he knows that Hope, Hope doesn't have much
Like okay again, Saffi has into.
Speaker 4 (28:36):
My point is there's still dirt that still hasn't come out, right,
huh say it again, hasn't come home?
Speaker 5 (28:45):
Mm hm.
Speaker 4 (28:46):
You know she's she's playing him like there's a nose
ring in his nose and all she.
Speaker 1 (28:50):
Has to do put her ring the throat and she's
just gonna travel a little.
Speaker 4 (28:54):
Long fine and trying to matter what she does and
how she doesn't because he's trying to be like her grandmother.
Speaker 1 (29:03):
And that's that's the problem that I'm having, is like, Okay,
seff you have to you have to.
Speaker 4 (29:10):
We need to have a special I keep saying they
need to have a special.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
Episode where Steffie really deals with all her insecurity. Because
the thing is that luckily.
Speaker 4 (29:20):
Now now now you know, check this out.
Speaker 1 (29:23):
She wanted against Sheila. She actually want to against Sheila
because she Loa's nowhere in her orbit.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
Okay, her man stuck with her through all.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
Of that, even though there was times where you know, Finn,
look me, me.
Speaker 4 (29:42):
And me and you gotta have him talk. I would
have left her.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
I would have left her me personally, I would have
left her because again, Stephie doesn't she doesn't know what
to do with this, with this relationship. She really don't
she she because remember she was mad at Finn, and
then it was like, okay, Finn was going to probably
walk away, probably leaves. You was testing it, you were
(30:07):
testing this stuff, Hee, because I always say this, what
if he would have left them?
Speaker 4 (30:11):
Would Now I'm very proud of you for what you
told Liam.
Speaker 1 (30:15):
I'm very proud of you for that. But I thought
that was funny when you when when she said I'm married?
Speaker 4 (30:22):
Now, were you married?
Speaker 1 (30:24):
When? When when he gets just that hasn't come out yet?
Has this stuff d.
Speaker 4 (30:33):
Yep, But you're over there, mh.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
You know. I like Finn, I like his thing, and
he's standing up for his woman. But he can't even
say that that was a accident.
Speaker 4 (30:52):
I think. Because here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (30:54):
I'm gonna okay, because I had this conversation with my
aunt of all people, because we were really talking about, well,
it's my aunt and her boyfriend. Okay, so I'm gonna
paint the scenes for you. Guys.
Speaker 4 (31:06):
We're on the phone, were.
Speaker 1 (31:07):
Said, and then we decided to do a video call,
right we literally my aunt's boyfriend came downstairs, like at
their house and said, I can't believe Send didn't say nothing.
Speaker 4 (31:17):
What kind of man is Tea? And my aunt was like, well,
Hope didn't say anything either.
Speaker 1 (31:22):
I'm listening to them for five minutes going back and
forth about this. You would actually think they were talking
about a real situation, right, But then my aunt said,
you know what, hold up. She's like, you know what,
both of them are afraid of Stephanie. And I was
shaking my head the whole time. I was like, yeah,
because they already know Steffie. When Steffie sees something, nine
(31:48):
times out of ten, you can't talk her away from
what she saw or what she what it was.
Speaker 4 (31:53):
Interpret for her.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
Right, She's like, Okay, I see Hope on top of
my of my man.
Speaker 4 (32:02):
He's trying to produce him.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
But you didn't even act like, Okay, what what happened here?
Speaker 4 (32:08):
What's going on? You quickly jumped on her.
Speaker 1 (32:11):
You didn't even notice it, like frasipemens, what are you
doing here?
Speaker 4 (32:14):
Fin Hope? What's going on?
Speaker 1 (32:17):
Like?
Speaker 4 (32:17):
You didn't even get the pob.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
Then you could have said something like, it's not what
it looks like. You know, I just came in da
Hope accidentally thought I was Carter and tripped. Hope Hope
would have been like, yeah, I thought it was Carter
and practice formost. Everybody needs a lock on the door
and start knocking, and everybody exports the creation. Stop being
dressed in y'all lingerie, you know, without it being a
fashion show, because that's a that's an HR department situation.
(32:44):
And I'm about to, yeah, Kevin.
Speaker 4 (32:48):
Say yeah, I'm sorry, this this this whole piece is
Lan it really is at the moment, and I keep
thinking to myself, Thomas kicking, Thomas kicking, Thomas kicking and
you know, our beloved Susan Flanning is eighty five years old.
I think both needs two begs begg bag bag bags,
(33:09):
begg bag for three day ark kind of thing, you know,
where we have a dreamscape, an angel scape whatever would be,
and all the women of you know, at Los Angeles
that are involved in forest and Spencer and so on
and so forth, get a little come to Jesus angel
moment from O. G. Sstiny if we could ever make
(33:30):
that happen below the rings out of the water and reset,
do a hard reset from there, all right, before we
move on, and we might as well stay with CBS.
But before we move on, Ashley, you.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
You want to say anything about Taylor?
Speaker 4 (33:44):
I know, Kansas said she she she ain't opening that
door today.
Speaker 1 (33:48):
Mm hmmm, Hi, uh, Taylor, not to tell you if
you don't want to open the door tonight either, that's fine.
Speaker 4 (34:00):
Well, I just can't like we left Brown Taylor, like
whenever Brooke walked in on her and Ridge having their
moment with their.
Speaker 5 (34:15):
Opening up to her her heart and whatnot or whatever,
and then so like today, now Brooke comes in confront
Taylor and like, really, what Brooke really wants to know
is do you still love Ridge? That's burning questions? Well, duh,
of course she still loves Ridge, like she's always gonna
(34:36):
love Ridge. What Brooke really wants to know is are
you gonna be coming after my man?
Speaker 4 (34:41):
Like that's what she really wants to know. That's the question.
Speaker 5 (34:46):
So old, so the same triangle.
Speaker 4 (34:53):
And this is a problem that that both never really
had before your batches iteration before as though the friendship
and me and all of that. Then when they win,
you know, the Rider Dodge girls for a little bit
moments that all of that never happened, that they don't
know anything. All right, real quick, I do want to
(35:15):
I really real quick before we go, because she is doing.
Speaker 5 (35:21):
Doing a great job.
Speaker 1 (35:25):
I want to I want to speak on about my
girl Luna real quick because you know, okay, hey, bol
you got one as Simon and one of Simon only
give me and it seems like you are.
Speaker 4 (35:38):
You're going to give me a younger.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
Set up gay where I'm going to meet because we
did see this preview. They did cast a young nice
young actor who side note could have been Spencer a
General hospital. I'm just saying, but we have him with
Bowl and the Beautiful and it looks like he's a
little creepy.
Speaker 4 (36:00):
Creepy like I.
Speaker 1 (36:01):
Said, but here's but here's how we're going to do this.
This is out of jail. Thank you Learna coming out
of jail right because her progress want to say, because
the thing is you you you you what I wrote
wrote like creepy.
Speaker 5 (36:29):
Came up together him and.
Speaker 4 (36:32):
I did say that. I was like this.
Speaker 1 (36:34):
I was like, Okay, Learna is pretending to be the
whole and he's not really sorry, so my whole. He's
gonna play the system and she's gonna get out. Okay,
I'm going to need for Remy and Luna to defront
each other. This is one of like what I really
(36:54):
wanted Dagon and Sailor to do, but they didn't do
it right, no offense. But I'm going to need because
Luna could befriend Elective and get all the tea. Meanwhile,
unbeknownst to like Electric doesn't know who Luna really is. Okay,
she just knows that she's there at the coffee shops.
(37:15):
I'm bringing the coffee shop back, y'all. And yet with
Rennie like him and Will could be like, Yo, what's talk?
Speaker 4 (37:21):
What's up? Yeah, what's up?
Speaker 1 (37:22):
Okay, Oh that's a pretty young lady.
Speaker 4 (37:24):
But Electric doesn't know that.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
You know, Remy is around. I'm going to need for
Luna and Remy to team up, and I'm going to
need for Luna to use Remy to get through Will
to to like get information about Bill, because that is
what I'm pretty much doing, folks. Is I'm making Luna
the new Sela Carter, and I'm using I'm using like again,
(37:53):
the fact is that Luna's may obsessed assumption reception.
Speaker 4 (37:58):
I can't even talk right now that y'all.
Speaker 1 (37:59):
Know I met is Bill.
Speaker 4 (38:02):
This is so popula Christ the housand and one in
the sense.
Speaker 1 (38:07):
And when I say it like that, I'm Jimmy, gimme scandal, Jimmy.
Speaker 4 (38:13):
There you know what? See not feeling hold up?
Speaker 1 (38:16):
I thought about who I'm gonna compare is ladies and gentlemen.
Luna is are you ready?
Speaker 4 (38:21):
You're ready for this? I'm ready? Andy Button? Oh yeah, no, one,
it does fit better. Yeah, we'll talk.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
We'll talk, Chris Well Christ, because that's my whole thing
and say, okay, you didn't give me the will me
elect of stuff. But Luna's not going after will Oh no, no, no,
she's going He's going after Bill.
Speaker 4 (38:50):
Mm hmmm, Yo, you take us, you know, let's let's
hop on our quick little you know, our quick little
jet and take us over to Jenna. Was sitting this
week on The Younger Rustlers again, Sharan is going crazy.
Speaker 1 (39:04):
Everybody's detending not to know but she but she's kind
of giving out the signs. Sadly, though, we did have
to say goodbye to Heather in a funeral service that
was very sitting for a green screen. I'm sorry, that's
not right. I shouldn't have said that. Apology to the
financial department at Sony m CBS for the green screen
for the funeral.
Speaker 4 (39:26):
Daniel sent Lucy away because it was the right thing
to do, because the child should not be there at
the funeral to say goodbye.
Speaker 1 (39:32):
Meanwhile, at the.
Speaker 4 (39:33):
Funeral, so Daniel was grieving, but Phyllis had told Sharon,
you need to go and you need to also, you know, pay.
Speaker 1 (39:41):
Your respects, and Sharan was like and Phil was just like, meanwhile,
you know, Daniel was a rough fit because he was
suspect number one. But he's out because you know, somebody
I be falsely you know, setting him up. Shocking, but
(40:04):
Cricket and Phyllis put their put aside their differences to
work together to clear Daniel's names. Meanwhile, the game of
Jack and Diane, is it real or the sake? Apparently
Diane is like I'm out, She's talking to Victor. Jacket's
like whatever, and Diane then call somebody and she's talking
(40:26):
to somebody. We don't know what you want to say.
Speaker 4 (40:28):
And also we got Lily. Now Lily is okay, she
can't forgive.
Speaker 1 (40:35):
If she can't forgive, forget, however, people want her to
have chancellor again. Y'all just all where she's gonna go at.
Speaker 4 (40:43):
Let's see what else is happening here?
Speaker 1 (40:46):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (40:46):
That did Sharon? Sharon? Sharon? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (40:51):
Did we mention that Abbey and Dvorni getting married this
week too? Yay? Is thousands episode thirteen?
Speaker 4 (41:08):
Yea, Let's see what else is going on with the
Young and Russell's gun.
Speaker 1 (41:15):
I was I was working myself up to that, and
in an emotional moment that only could be played on
the Young and the Rustlers, we finally after begging and
pleading there's the time that this show probably started maybe longer.
(41:37):
We finally got to Newman Ranch back on the.
Speaker 4 (41:40):
Young and the Ross ladies and gentlemen like give it up,
come on, give it up, Come on.
Speaker 1 (41:52):
No, we're going to dank some people. We're going to
bank some people. I'm gonna bank some people. I'm sorry
right now, and by saying, I would like to thank
William J. Baltony Phillip Bell for creating the Young and
Russell so we can have the new Miranch one two.
I would like to dank the wonderful actress who made
sure that the set feels like home and that would
(42:12):
be a million times gotten. Eric Braydon, Yes, give it up.
I also would like to thank Sony and CBS for
putting some money into the set. I would like to
thank Edward Scott for the flashbacks that was being used.
Speaker 4 (42:29):
I would like to thank Josh Josh Griffin. Yes, I'm
gonna thank him.
Speaker 1 (42:34):
You know why I'm gonna thank him because in the
interview and also he said that he thought it was
time you want the Sands with something that's so sacred
and beloved by the long time viewers. I'm also gonna
do like Anthony, and I'm gonna be sadie God. I
also want to thank you because you were there to destroy.
Speaker 4 (42:56):
That set when when that happened, and.
Speaker 1 (43:00):
Monically, is that the same that's going on right.
Speaker 4 (43:05):
Right?
Speaker 1 (43:06):
And I'm gonna say it's a full simple moment because
when that happened, Sharon was going Coco Pus and years away,
here she is going Coco Puk, stay away from the ranch,
stay away from seriously like all just re security yet,
because I'm gonna need the same security that keptain Nikki
and everybody away from from not seeing the construction on
(43:26):
on the on that land. I don't know how that
was possible because I would have heard something. I would
have heard some construction, but apparently we I don't know
what happened. I don't know. I'm trying to sire that
one out.
Speaker 4 (43:39):
But but nonetheless, the dimensions.
Speaker 6 (43:44):
Okay, all right, what I'm guess I'm guessing you had,
but no, in all, honestly, it was a very nice
treat to have the Newman ranks that in its glory.
Speaker 4 (43:56):
So there you go, young and Roussell take it away. Well, Candace,
it's funny because you said exactly, but you you phrased
something exactly what I was thinking. The conclusion of Sharon's storyline.
That will not be her burning down that ranch again.
You can you can bring us back to the Cassie
(44:18):
storyline ten more times. Do you not burn that ranch
down again? I'm gonna pray, David, No, I am a party.
Speaker 3 (44:30):
Oh yeah, remember during soap Party, I would I asked
you that question. They said, are they gonna bring us
the ranch back just so Sharon burn it down again?
Speaker 1 (44:43):
I swear, I swear.
Speaker 4 (44:44):
Let me let me say this.
Speaker 1 (44:45):
I swear the soul Jesus. If they do that, I'm
gonna need for everybody that's listening to our show. Okay,
And of course you guys to stead of a goalfundme
for my bail, money, my hair. Yet I will seriously
go out there and be like this, no, no, no,
no no. What you're not gonna do is bring my
heart joy and for it to be taken away like
(45:08):
that like uhh no, because I'm gonna be really.
Speaker 4 (45:11):
Because again it's just for me.
Speaker 1 (45:14):
You It's like it's like I'm on edge because it's like, okay,
you got sharing over there being Coco for Coco puffs
and you bring back the Newman ranch, knowing everything that
the Numans has gone through since then. And if you
try to go ahead and do this again, I'm gonna
(45:37):
be I'm gonna be honest, Young and Russell, Josh, come on,
Kim those joaby come here, come come in here. I'm
gonna hold you personally responsible for putting a nail in
the coffin of Young and Russells. And I don't want
to say it like that, but for me, this is
something you're not playing with because, as I said, these actors,
these storylines are very iconic to us.
Speaker 4 (45:59):
That that truth.
Speaker 1 (46:00):
But these sets mean more than you will ever know,
to the point that if you have Melody and Eric
crying yeah like that, that touched me in a way
that I never thought again. We talked about this well
all the time on these shows. Is that you know,
like the theme songs, like you know that means well,
(46:24):
that's when we hear these theme songs, it takes us back,
you know, especially like the first introductions. These characters mean
the world to us. There are extended families, the storylines,
my goodness, the storylines.
Speaker 4 (46:42):
But these sets, that's.
Speaker 1 (46:46):
A whole difference some people.
Speaker 4 (46:47):
I'm not saying no names some of these sets that you.
Speaker 1 (46:51):
See, or so somebody I'm not saying, who try to
sometimes I don't know, take an idea here and there
and put in their place.
Speaker 4 (47:01):
I say, no names, y'all, just figure it out. No,
like no, And that's and that's where we are right now,
you know, the only one. I think there's maybe two
or three ways that I would accept the Newman Ranch
burning down for a second, or being blown up or whatever.
(47:23):
And honestly, if this is Sharon Case's one song story
for the young and the restless, we don't know, we
don't know. And she, you know, if they were to
take the Newman Ranch down again because she stropped a
bomb to herself and just you know, bang that, you know,
and that was the end, I think I could accept it,
(47:44):
depending on how the writing, the ask, the math, and
how arching it would be for the rest of the canvas.
But yes, we did off. Thank you. The set is back, David.
I got to ask you because I'm sorry. Where I'm
finding a real hard problem, a real hard problem is
the once in a while little snark with Cricket and Phyllis,
(48:04):
you know, and they both know, they both know exactly
what Sharon and Google for coca pups, et cetera, et cetera.
So I'm bath foot Blake. These are not stupid. You know,
we have a district attorney. It's Phyllis. Phyllis Phillips herself
has been Google for Cocoa pups, So I'm just not
(48:25):
There are rivalries across all four of the soaps that
are left that you're kind of if you're gonna if
you're gonna turn them into friends, you gotta do it
in a good way. And this ain't the one. What
are you thinking, David, so.
Speaker 3 (48:42):
Phyllis and Christine to become friends?
Speaker 4 (48:46):
Uh huh, that's where they're going with this, you know that?
Speaker 3 (48:49):
Oh? Well, one, I think Phillis has to be proven right,
and we know she is so to some extent, and
but she's got to be Philip hasn't always been believable
because of her history, so you know, she's got to
(49:13):
get it across to Christine. Christine so far as tapped
into it, but she doesn't have anything to go on.
So you know, Zillas is probably gonna have to show
shower the way.
Speaker 5 (49:32):
Hey, Ashley, I don't think once this is all said
and done, and Daniel is cleared. I don't think Phyllis
and Christine are going to be like, bfs, let's go
drink a bottle of wine and watch a Hallmark movie together.
Speaker 4 (49:49):
No, I don't think it's gonna go that far either,
you know.
Speaker 5 (49:51):
It's I feel like they're gonna be cordial to one
another to do what they need to do to prove
Daniel's innocence, and then once that is done, they're gonna
go back to being Cricket and Phyllis and do what
they do towards one another. So I think I think
this was like a temporary truth, you know, for them
(50:16):
to be able to prove Daniel's innocence. Like Phyllis is
totally onto something like when she was talking to Lauren
today and she was telling her all the things, like
Lauren didn't believe it, Like, well, Lauren, you want to know,
like you know, like what Sharon's done. You were around
for all the things like so, but you know people
(50:38):
don't want.
Speaker 4 (50:38):
To see it.
Speaker 5 (50:39):
Yeah, it's like right right there.
Speaker 4 (50:42):
So I still I'm going to ask you and then
take her down. I'm going to ask you something and
then throw it back to Candace. Now, admittedly I'm about
a week and a half behind, so Kandace had mentioned
Diane and a phone call. So I feel personally like
they have thrown us the Diane could be about to
(51:03):
go off the Diane cliff again. Too many times this
go around with with Diane. If this is the case,
if this is the time, why not this is the time.
It's not going to be believable.
Speaker 5 (51:19):
Yeah, I mean I don't know where they're going with Diane,
to be honest with you, like if she's working with someone,
like who's this person that she's working with, because like
if she's gonna be leaving again, then like what does
that mean for Jack? I feel like Jack gets the
short end of oh ye of things, you know, like
(51:42):
the poor guy can't have like a I don't know,
like I don't know if a solid story is the
right thing, but yeah, I feel like she he doesn't
have like a solid story, Like when was the last real,
like solid story that Jack has has had? Because I
feel like this is an itch with Diane.
Speaker 4 (52:06):
So yeah, and Jack and Jackie is the character that
always rebuilds the woman only for her to betray leaves
her hell, you know, and it's yeah, do you see
do you see where they may be going with Diane. Okay,
So as somebody who has like what it was in.
Speaker 1 (52:26):
Two years one year has been saying Diane has a plan,
she's not as good as she seems like there's something
else going on. My other thing is I've never left
that boat. I just am like, you know what, if
y'all finally get into it, God God blessed, because I
know there was a lot of people who said there's
no plan, there's no plan, and I felt like I
(52:48):
was like, Okay, I'm gonna give it some time because
they need to have concrete plans and for all this
to blow up. I'm so conferious as to where they're
going at. But at the same time, I'm still in
my boat by myself that Diane had a plan, because
unless Jack and Diane are in it together, I mean,
to me, that's not even a story.
Speaker 4 (53:08):
To me, it would be Diane.
Speaker 1 (53:10):
Pretty much stuck the knife and everybody's back. And now
we said, because to me, I'm not I mean, okay,
Jacket Diane getting together first and foremost y'all know where
I stood at was that I was like, she's probably
gonna get everything she's ever wanted, and that's when she's
gonna start taking Jack down.
Speaker 4 (53:31):
Yep, I didn't see that, But now I'm starting to
wonder if that's where we're gonna go at.
Speaker 1 (53:36):
So I don't know where we're Like I said.
Speaker 4 (53:38):
It's interesting, right, it's interesting. I want to be honest.
Speaker 1 (53:43):
When she can I be saying, he's don't know what
on the on the show tonight. I don't even think
John knows where we're going at. I don't think Josh
knows where we're going at.
Speaker 4 (53:50):
That's why.
Speaker 1 (53:51):
That's why now all of a sudden, he's you know
what again them I got you, I got you, sonything
else that.
Speaker 4 (54:00):
We haven't mentioned what happens.
Speaker 3 (54:04):
Unless Diane, the other person Diana is working for it
is Jack and we're just not seeing it.
Speaker 1 (54:12):
But see, to me, that's not a story.
Speaker 4 (54:13):
You see what I'm saying, Like, especially back with the
trucker stuff and numbs, Oh god, what's this? What's the
name the one Victoria married? If it had been Jack
all this time, there's just way too many inconsistencies that
we would have to swallow. I mean, this suspension of belief.
(54:36):
But then there's you know, Google Coco Pop's crazy and
we ain't that yet.
Speaker 1 (54:42):
Like I said to me, if we're gonna look, I'm
gonna be honest. Here's here's what Okay, Josh, I'm gonna
help you out if you want to end the year
off on a bank, because we gotta really thick about it, y'all.
This one is almost overweight because Thanksgiving is coming up,
saying gobble gobble. Then the same next thing, you know,
Happy Holidays from CBS Daytime, Happier Year.
Speaker 4 (55:04):
Welcome to the gates. Young Russells has to go out
on a with a bank.
Speaker 1 (55:09):
To me, if I was writing this show, she ain't
working with Jack Oh no, no, no, no, mm hmmm,
she ain't even working with Asson lock.
Speaker 4 (55:19):
Oh no no, no, no no, she's working with Jermy.
Speaker 1 (55:23):
So that's right.
Speaker 4 (55:25):
So yeah, he ain't.
Speaker 1 (55:31):
Really want to Now, if you really want to do it, right, Josh,
how about having her work with all three recast Cooker,
recast Tucker. But have it where Diane is playing Tucker.
Oh my, oh, y'all start talking Diane. No, no, no, no,
(55:53):
here's the thing she's playing. She's depending coucker with Assy
lock O. God.
Speaker 4 (56:01):
But the real person that she's really a cool thasel
is Jeremy. Here's Jeremy. That would be That would be
a killer storyline to end the year with and to
do like I'm telling both because I think both need
to reset. I think the young and the restless need
to reset as well, especially with the gates coming out.
(56:22):
They about to be opened and the lock somebody about
will blow that lock right off and them gates is
gonna be swinging open and it's gonna be good. Sure,
God be good. All right, David, why don't you bring
us to Salem?
Speaker 3 (56:42):
Okay, let's see what's going on here. So, so, Phillip
and Xander are ying for Titan. Xander wants to sell
to Forgott Kristen, sell Tighten to Kristen for the for
(57:09):
the vial to help Sarah walk again. Philip is standing
in the way. He is standing in the way of that,
and he's not he doesn't want that to happen because
he's sticking up her father. Well, we did find out,
(57:31):
I think we talked about this last show, that Philip
is working with Vivian by a event when Kate found
out she faked a handshake with him and turned Vivian in.
(57:55):
And now Vivian's arrested, and I guess will be taken
over that part of Vivian's plan. I don't know how long?
Do we know how long? Movies is?
Speaker 4 (58:12):
No, no, and I don't want to don't.
Speaker 1 (58:17):
I don't and I don't want to know how long
because it was a welcome treat. The fact that we
didn't even know she was coming back, that's the that's
the beauty of it, like we didn't.
Speaker 4 (58:30):
Feeling is by the fact that he never came out.
I don't think, I don't this may be that may
be be under else hut now, so I don't think
it's going to be a long since by the fact
that he never did come out. Uh. And that has
been the consistent problem for a couple of years. Now,
you know where so many so many months ahead that
when people spot cards coming and going and people eating
(58:53):
a commas every some things, then we suddenly know what's
you know, at least something that we're looking forward to.
This one, this one, as said, this one was beautiful
shock all mm hmmm. And but.
Speaker 5 (59:17):
I'm I'm I'm glad that the truth came out about
everything with Chad and.
Speaker 4 (59:25):
Kat.
Speaker 5 (59:28):
I think it'll be interesting to see, like what happened
now that Chad went to EJ and said, hey, don't
don't press charges let her go because Clyde. I need
to get information from Clyde about my wife remains like
where's Abigail? Like he's so desperate and so wanting to
(59:49):
get answers to, you know, for Abigail. And I think
I think Kat has feelings for Chad, So I could
totally see like Kat wanting to help him to make
up for for all the damage.
Speaker 4 (01:00:03):
That she has caused.
Speaker 5 (01:00:04):
So I could maybe see some some feelings possibly happening,
you know, real feelings between chatting Cat possibly because I
do think Kat wants to make things right and and
help him with everything. So that's what I'm liking. I
(01:00:25):
love the fact that Belle and Andrew and Paul came
back for John and Marline's anniversary. I'm gonna get choked
up because it's really sweet those those at that episode
was last week, and again it just kind of tugs
at the heart strings because we know that Drake is
no longer with us, but they're still honoring him and
in all of the sweet, wonderful ways and showcasing John
(01:00:49):
and Marline is love for one another. So that was
so lovely to see, so lovely to see. So I'm
anxious to see kind of how Martlene's story continues to unfold.
Speaker 1 (01:01:04):
You know.
Speaker 5 (01:01:05):
Now that we that Drake is no longer with us, Like,
I'll be interested to see in what direction that goes?
Speaker 1 (01:01:13):
One question for y'all.
Speaker 5 (01:01:14):
Okay, So Mark and Cater in jail, who the heck
are keeping an eye on Aaron and Felicity?
Speaker 1 (01:01:21):
Like these two kids are Like I'm a now adopting Felicity.
I am adopting her sister. I will be glad to
take GUARDI as ship of Paul's Kennedy. You're so sweet,
this sweetheart.
Speaker 4 (01:01:39):
I love that.
Speaker 5 (01:01:40):
I love her, She's so sweet.
Speaker 4 (01:01:42):
But like that was my question when they were in jail,
like who's taking there?
Speaker 5 (01:01:46):
And Aaron wants to go visit them?
Speaker 1 (01:01:48):
Like who's taking care of Aaron and Felicity? Like that's
the teacher in me? Like who's watching the kids? Right?
And that's just me, Like who's watch of the kids
When I'm gonna break, like who's watching the kids? Ye?
Speaker 4 (01:02:12):
Instead of asking what your loving canvas, I'm gonna ask
you what's up with? Then the soap?
Speaker 1 (01:02:18):
All right?
Speaker 4 (01:02:18):
So this has been the time cow okay, on on the.
Speaker 1 (01:02:25):
Previous episode of Body and So, Body and Soul, we
still have this other Oh it was object Oh my, okay,
screw the recap of Body and Soul. The real recap was.
Speaker 4 (01:02:39):
That day of Dames.
Speaker 1 (01:02:40):
Okay, folks gather around. Auntie Cannis is gonna tell y'all
what happened.
Speaker 4 (01:02:45):
Oh time, So let me get myself ready for this.
Speaker 1 (01:02:53):
So Dave's icons legend, Didel Hall and Susan Sea For
he gave an interview to a media outletter and the
question was about Body and So and with this person
who was interviewing them did not like Body and Soul anymore,
and in a m well said it attitude adjust facial
(01:03:20):
expression mis Dijil Hall, it was like Body and Soul
is over wet, it's done. And Susan Conne was like, okay, oh,
we're just gonna come off straight and say this. It's
the way it sounded just like now like okay, we're discussing.
It's overwet, it's done. We're done with that.
Speaker 4 (01:03:40):
And that's what probably got Ron fired.
Speaker 5 (01:03:43):
M hm.
Speaker 1 (01:03:46):
Hm many. I think I think I'm gonna I'm gonna
put my two cents into this too. Many actors were
not feeling just when there should have been other stories
being told. Now, let's Auntie can just tell you herd.
Speaker 4 (01:04:09):
Situation of the situation here.
Speaker 1 (01:04:13):
First and foremost. I said this on the show when
it first started. It was kind of a nice paying
homage to the fact that when we were sick we
would watch the soap propera. Even if we didn't know
what the heck was going on, we would watch it.
It was then a nice paid honors to those who
have been on the show who's done other outside little
(01:04:35):
tongue in cheek, you know, honoring like James Reynolds being
you know, Henry Marshall from Generations, you know, Tucker McCall.
Really y'all still didn't get to I'm still in shocked
on that one, right. But the thing is is that
Body and Soul went on too long to the point
that it did overshadow what was going on with Dazelives.
(01:04:56):
And this became a problem when again you had other
storylines being told, like Brady, Sarah and so forth and
so and Nicole and all that stuff. Now we understand
behind the scenes stuff happens. Totally understand that, But then
something else happened, the writer strike, and I'm just gonna
(01:05:21):
keep it one hundred. I understand the frustration it, you
know that comes when you haven't written something for so
long and it seems that the show is actually doing
the storylines that are supposed to be doing, but you're
not there to really like drive it. But you can't
(01:05:41):
be shaving and then come back saying you're gonna do
all these amazing things when you still have something that
is not really giving the fans what they want. I
always say this, what worked on another show is not
gonna work on the show that.
Speaker 4 (01:05:58):
You're currently on, and that's what happened.
Speaker 1 (01:06:02):
Fraternity Row on One Life to Live was completely different
than daveswel allows the Body and Soul because, like I said, now,
all of a sudden, everybody wants to work with body
and soul. You had Kate Kate running a soap opera,
you had Aids running a soap proper. You really took
everybody out of their normal characteristics. I understand what DDRE
(01:06:25):
was saying because davewel allied. Look, we all know daveswe
allows to tell us a good double profession storyline buried
a live storyline a mask of a mask, but the heart,
the heart and.
Speaker 4 (01:06:35):
Soul of it.
Speaker 1 (01:06:36):
See heart and soul instead. It's a family oriented show.
And the fact that last Friday, last Friday's episode, show
me Days can go back to this first and foremost Days,
(01:06:58):
Congratulations on your renewal. We knew that this was gonna happen,
and we're so honored that you guys will be celebrating
not only its ninth, not only your sixtieth, but you
guys will go into your sixty first with sixty, we
want to say congratulations to two Days because this is also,
(01:07:19):
I believe, their third year going into.
Speaker 4 (01:07:20):
Peacock, into the Peacock era. Now again that's Friday. Three year.
It was yeah, three years Lea's Friday. It was a
little hard.
Speaker 1 (01:07:30):
And I'm gonna tell you something because I didn't expect
because when we.
Speaker 4 (01:07:33):
Saw the promo, right, yeah, they did show us.
Speaker 1 (01:07:37):
They did show us Doug and Julie right like that
say we're getting in the picture in our faces. But
last Friday's episode, y'all do know, we paid amiss to
three people.
Speaker 4 (01:07:46):
Yep, So.
Speaker 1 (01:07:49):
I mean clearly, I mean, God, don't cracks. We paid
homage to John Aniston because it was Vickie and Maggie's
anniversary one two, when Julie was talking about Doug. I mean,
obviously we know that they're setting the stage up for
Bill Hayes, which is Sumersack, which is December, sac and everybody,
(01:08:14):
And of course obviously it was also jaw Lena's anniversary,
and we know that, you know, we don't have Drake anymore.
Speaker 4 (01:08:23):
And to see that this show.
Speaker 1 (01:08:28):
Honored all of them. You did bring back Bell, you
did have Paul and.
Speaker 4 (01:08:34):
Andrew get engaged.
Speaker 1 (01:08:35):
Yes, yes, you did have Brady, you did have Maul
Lena talking to John, and I think that's what got
means like, damn, you know, we're not gonna hear.
Speaker 4 (01:08:46):
That, Hey, Doc, what's going on?
Speaker 1 (01:08:48):
Doc?
Speaker 4 (01:08:49):
You can't believe me?
Speaker 1 (01:08:50):
You know, So we're not gonna hear that for a
very long time. Stuff with a flashback, because we do
know there's a tribute coming up. But the fact that
she was like saying, the family we created, I felt
it so that was for us to fan ye I
felt as though it is us who created this family
and through the good, the bad, the ugly in between.
Speaker 4 (01:09:10):
And we've had you know, well it's not U, but
from you guys, that's listening. You guys have been there
since Day won.
Speaker 1 (01:09:17):
Most of you guys with Days All Lives, your you know,
your grandchildren, your children, the children children that everybody has
watched Days All Lives. It's such a part of our
culture and our family. So when I saw Friday's episode,
keep in mind it was completely different than Thursday's episode.
Right then, I said to myself, I said, you know what,
(01:09:38):
this is What matters right now is that we're celebrating
the vets that brought us to this and going forward.
We know, we know what's coming up. We all know that.
But Friday for me, and you know again, because I
saw all the interviews and stuff like that, I was like,
first and foremost, I get you may not have liked
(01:10:00):
with some with some of these writers, did I understand that,
But I'm gonna flip it.
Speaker 4 (01:10:09):
They also was trying to.
Speaker 1 (01:10:12):
Bring something different to the table, for everybody to play
something different, And I think sometimes that's that's easy to
do because there's some actors who do want to break
out the mold of what they've always played, right, But
also you don't want to be that person that ones
(01:10:35):
iould say, because there was some there was another actor
who said something.
Speaker 4 (01:10:40):
And I was just like, hey, that's interesting that you
said that. But nonetheless, I will say this.
Speaker 1 (01:10:47):
With days while a lot of especially today's episode, because
I do say Brady got the false one too, I
will say.
Speaker 4 (01:10:55):
That it's to me, this is.
Speaker 1 (01:11:00):
We're going, We're getting.
Speaker 4 (01:11:01):
On the right path. Today's Weell Lives.
Speaker 1 (01:11:03):
I mean, we just celebrated the anniversary. We know that
the next couple of weeks is gonna be very emotional.
You know. I just wish and this is because and
I'm gonna say, and I think a lot of people
were echoing it. I wish they could have had Greg
Vaughn for this. Yeah, because when I saw the children,
I mean, yeah, we see sam We're gonna see Sammy later.
(01:11:24):
But I'm like, okay, you know you have Bell, you
have you know, Brady, you have you know. Even Kristen,
I was like, girl, why are you doing that?
Speaker 4 (01:11:33):
What are you doing there for?
Speaker 1 (01:11:35):
But I was just like okay, but I understood. And
like I said, Dazzuel lives like the last couple other
than that body and soul much because again here's the
saying Joy is now working over there. Johnny is like
kind of freaking out.
Speaker 4 (01:11:49):
Because of Alex and Chanelle. Yeah, that's about it. So
but yeah, so Dave, you know what you gotta do.
You gotta work to do well. I will definitely say
that I really want to see some meat of Come
to Jesus with Johnny and Sammy. Oh I want wait
(01:12:12):
wait that promo?
Speaker 1 (01:12:13):
Wait we wait, we didn't even talk about the promo.
Can we talk about the promo?
Speaker 4 (01:12:17):
Go ahead, girl?
Speaker 1 (01:12:18):
Okay, okay, so you know again days day of days,
they showed the promo that you know us is, you know,
the rest of the year and then going to the
next year, right, and so it was then available to
everybody like maybe twelve fifteen minutes later. Okay, let me
break it down for y'all. Okay, right, so we got
(01:12:38):
cause we got it. Eja and Bell fans.
Speaker 4 (01:12:41):
Where y'all at? Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:12:42):
Oh god, Okay, here y'all.
Speaker 4 (01:12:43):
I'm I'm here. Yeah, I'm here.
Speaker 1 (01:12:46):
Girl. You guys are gonna get it. We're y'all gonna
get y'all turns, you're gonna get your shot. There was
a scene where e j and Belle are fighting and
then she throws some water and the next thing you know,
they're in bed I'm like, wait now, like here, okay,
all right, Now, then we got we kind of look,
I'm gonna be honest.
Speaker 4 (01:13:04):
I did not see this coming.
Speaker 1 (01:13:06):
We got JJ and Gabby.
Speaker 4 (01:13:08):
I know, I'm right, I know.
Speaker 1 (01:13:14):
I said, Now here's the saying, No, we know Brandon
is off. You know, I'm gonna tell you this right now,
never say never see a character returning, because I now
think I see where they're going at if they played
this beat right, So we're gonna get.
Speaker 4 (01:13:28):
A classic soap. Oh my god, I'm getting emotional.
Speaker 1 (01:13:31):
Who with JJ and Gabby getting that happy ever after?
And then all of a sudden, yes, who's back. Oh
that's another thing, Gab, Gabby got the divorce papers. This
he enforced the signature.
Speaker 4 (01:13:44):
Don't tell her though.
Speaker 1 (01:13:46):
Okay, all right, so we got so then we got guards. Seriet,
I'm trying to remember everything we got. Oh yeah, we
got where again Dan, see that's coming, Daphanie and Phillips right,
(01:14:11):
and we got Alex over there. Look, Daves, I wanted
to enjoyed to do something, okay, because seriously, this is
being a little tiring. Okay, all right, So then Johnny
and should.
Speaker 4 (01:14:19):
Know right they're gonna have a baby.
Speaker 1 (01:14:22):
They're deciding to have a baby, but I feel it
still there's a dark cloud comment beginning. Dark cloud. We
also know John is something's going on with John. We
don't know what's going on with John, but it doesn't
look good.
Speaker 4 (01:14:35):
But again we do know.
Speaker 1 (01:14:36):
Now it was I think we can talk about this
request and I want to hear your opinions about this.
It was confirmed that Bag in February. Keep in mind,
Drake was their February King Corday. With Drake's blessing and
ron you know, writing and stuff, they are going to
obviously kill the character off. Now they oh, yeah, okay, okay,
(01:15:06):
they did get permission from Drake to do it, okay,
versus the flip of you know, care day, can't They
actually going, you've gotta do what you gotta do. Now,
keep in mind too, they were kind of hoping they were.
They were playing it the way that they I'm gonna
say this, some people can play it. But again depending
(01:15:30):
on the situation, it's fifty fifty. Now we know that
this is Daswelas right, and they were they were thinking like, okay,
as far some miracle Drake could make a full recovery.
They were going to reverse it. You know that's coming
back from but they also Reid, you know this could
(01:15:51):
be something serious. So instead of the waiting and everything,
I want to know from the panel going to start
with you, Anthony, do you agree? Did you like how
that was handle with Ken, Corday, Lawn and Drake regarding
killing the character off in that while he was with us.
Speaker 4 (01:16:10):
I think it was go ahead, okay me or Ashley?
Go ahead, Athley, go ahead, Athley Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:16:21):
Sorry sorry.
Speaker 5 (01:16:22):
I thought it was handled very very nicely and very tasteful.
I think it it says a lot to Drake and
the character of John that Ken and and Ron went
to him and said, hey, you know, this is what
we're thinking, like do we do? We have your blessing
and to give Drake's input. I think that shows how
(01:16:47):
much of an impact that Drake and John have made
to daytime community and to days of our lives as
a whole. So I think it was it was very
nicely done. I think John and Marlena are one of
those like super couples where it would just feel odd
if there was someone else playing the role of Johns.
(01:17:11):
I just I think of John Black and I think
of Drake Hostan, and I think of John and Marlena,
and I think of you know, Drake and and Dedra.
So I think it was the I think it was
the right move to do the way that they've decided
to do it. So I'm you know, it's gonna be
hard to watch, but I'm hoping that they'll do everything
(01:17:34):
they'll they'll do it justice and you know, they'll kind
of close out the couple of John m Marlena like
beautifully and you know, showcase their love for all that
we we know it as you know over the years.
So yeah, I'm I'm pleased with with how they handled
the situation.
Speaker 4 (01:17:55):
So I want to throw a question back to you, Candice,
but I will answer yours first, and that is I
believe that you know, anyone who is leaving a show
for for you know, going to another shop or a
family or whatever a day that they decide to leave,
you know, whatever storyline dictates, you know, you got to
play it. It is what it is. Right. If a
(01:18:18):
show General Hospital, let's say, you know, wants to get
rid of a legacy character, I think it sucks, But
I really don't think that there's much you know that
there should be much input from the actor or actress themselves.
You know, I think they should be heard, but I
don't think that Dave should be able to really give
(01:18:39):
any storyline advice, so to speak. You know. But when
someone who has been consistent the way Drake has and
is unfortunately not going to be with us because of
an illness, I think it is absolutely imperative that we
that we at least have the conversation with them to
see what how do we honor how do we you
(01:19:00):
how do we honor your time? How do we honor
your you know, your legacy here. I absolutely think that
not that it's not that it's great that they did it,
That's how it should be. And I think, you know,
in the early years of soaps, that's how it was
the rare times that that that actors were you know,
going to die while they were still on the show.
(01:19:21):
And that is true. We can talk, you know, in
the seventies and early eighties there were quite a few
that it went down that way. So that's how it
should be. Candice, I throw this back to you. I
honestly need this to be something. This cannot be Clyde,
this cannot be Orpheus. I need this to be something
either something really really anchored in the past or something
(01:19:46):
we can really connect with. It just can just cannot
be something silly. We really need to connect with this.
Speaker 1 (01:19:54):
I'm gonna say this because I thought about this. I
even thought about it before we even knew about breaks inputs.
My thing is, Dave, don't let this be how you
guys killed off Sean Brady. Yes, don't let this be
a again going to hit so many emotional courts because
(01:20:18):
it's like, let's just think about this, folks, Okay this
later next month for their fifteen thousands, because that's when
they're going to do the dug General and the beginning
of the new year, we're saying really goodbye to two
major supercouples of the genre. We're saying goodbye to Doug
(01:20:38):
and Julie. We're saying goodbye to Maul, Lena and John.
Two coat change the shift of Davola point blank, Kerry,
I don't care what anybody told me.
Speaker 4 (01:20:49):
The thing is that you know one is organic.
Speaker 1 (01:20:52):
By the way, that was also in the promo that
Jack is the one who finds Doug, and I say,
I was wondering if they were going to do the traditional.
I mean it is actually a true it's starting to
become a tradition where you know, Alice found Tom down
think I think it was Maggie that found Mickey or Alice,
(01:21:12):
want you know, and then you got the tradition going
here when it comes down. I mean, obviously with Doug,
you know they they made sure to say that he
able to cold. But it's more to the story. You
saw joey' stace when she was telling that to Maggie.
We know one is organic, but this one with John.
(01:21:33):
Now again, I always said this from John. If John
was to leave, it would have to be some kind
of adventure that does it. Because thing about John Black,
he was always going for a mission.
Speaker 4 (01:21:48):
And that's what that's what what he said. He was
on a mission.
Speaker 1 (01:21:51):
Right, Somebody thinking, Okay, da da da, something's gonna go down,
But you're right. The problem is that you have offis
and you have clubs. And I'm gonna say this, Dave, Lawn, Jamie, David,
all of you guys that's over there.
Speaker 4 (01:22:06):
I hope you're listening. And I know it's already done.
Speaker 1 (01:22:08):
You're a film b it's already in a can. I
am going to speak on behalf of the day's fandom.
If I'm mad, it's not just tweet me and I'll
take it out or blue stot me or whatever I want.
The thing is is that please don't let this be Clyde. Yeah,
(01:22:30):
because you're making Clyde to be this big daddy that
he's not. And this is not against James Reed, it's not.
It's the fact that Clyde is doing too much. And
if you do have Clyde be the one to take
John Black out. I'm gonna tell you this right now.
I'm what to need for all of you guys to
hide your social media account for the next six months
(01:22:54):
because this is something that you're not.
Speaker 4 (01:22:56):
Going to do.
Speaker 1 (01:22:57):
You're not going to say that this this wanna be
villain who I don't even know how we got to
this point took out John. I would give you a
little bit of a little bit of a head, like
(01:23:17):
you know heads if you said Orpheus because of the
connection of John Morlene at him. But if you're gonna
say John John got taken out because of Cyrus, I
mean not Cyrus because of Clyde, I'm gonna laugh myself.
I'm gonna laugh myself and I'm just gonna shake my
head and I'm just gonna be.
Speaker 4 (01:23:32):
Like, Wow, Now I'm gonna now, I'm gonna flip this.
Speaker 1 (01:23:36):
If Drake Holguston said it was okay to do it, Drake,
I'm gonna swing for the I'm gonna swing with wing,
with wing.
Speaker 4 (01:23:44):
Really hard towards the census. I'm gonna swing a whole run.
But I'm gonna need for this.
Speaker 1 (01:23:50):
To make sense.
Speaker 4 (01:23:51):
And I don't want to sound but you're gonna need
They're gonna need something that may Yeah, because Frank, now
plight doesn't make quite hasn't made sense in a way. Yeah,
I have go ahead, David Megan, you know all that
(01:24:16):
I would be I'm happy.
Speaker 1 (01:24:17):
With that.
Speaker 4 (01:24:20):
In a way to honor the stuff that don't in
a way to if there's some kind of mind warp
or you know, before before everything happened with Megan, it
was like a shipping planet and it was going to
go up at some point, I'd of thing I might
accept I'm saving Megan football and hope stuff. Okay, And
(01:24:42):
I hear you on that too, okay, And we you know,
we know, we know that is going to mutually overhaul
the storyline as well next year, so oh yeah, I
mean we have we have go.
Speaker 1 (01:24:54):
But I think everybody was shocked to see Johnny now
knows where how he got made.
Speaker 4 (01:24:59):
Yeah, and then and then e J got shot.
Speaker 1 (01:25:02):
I'm gonna tell you this right now, Daves, if you
love us, and I think you do, you gave us
first and foremost. I think, actually, Anthony, David, all of
us feels that we feel it.
Speaker 4 (01:25:16):
We're like asked Agnesa.
Speaker 1 (01:25:17):
All along when it was getting to the witches COVID,
we were like this, we're holding hands right now because
first and foremost I'm calling it right now, Carson and Dan,
get your emmy stuff together. We're gonna write the dates down.
I'm just saying for twenty twenty sixth daytime, Emmy's okay,
(01:25:38):
all right, because to me, this is the story that
I personally mean. I don't know I'm telling you guys,
but I've been really waiting for Johnny to find out
how he came to be and the fact.
Speaker 4 (01:25:51):
That Roment is the one who said it. Yeah, but
that's what I said. I need some come to Jesus
moments with Sammy and Sammy and Johnny.
Speaker 1 (01:26:05):
And j and I need so I'm gonna say this though,
I'm gonna be honest if this doesn't change the persona
of Johnny and also e J. Because Chanelle looked at
freaking scared And by the.
Speaker 4 (01:26:23):
Way, I'm not gonna say I'm gonna say this.
Speaker 1 (01:26:26):
Remember I have said earlier, I feel like a dark cloud.
I'm not beginning and I don't know nothing.
Speaker 4 (01:26:34):
I'm still questioning Chanelle's health because of that baby.
Speaker 1 (01:26:42):
Right, y'all know what I'm talking about. So to me,
I'm thinking this, I'm gonna say this next year maybe the.
Speaker 4 (01:26:52):
Birth of dark Johnny, of the next truly dark American.
Speaker 1 (01:26:58):
Right because Chris kids who can the same shot EJ?
Because if we're gonna do this, hey, it's just to YEA.
Since that happened is happening here. I'm gonna be honest.
Speaker 4 (01:27:08):
Number one subspect that probably shots with TJ.
Speaker 1 (01:27:11):
Because since they gonna be who shot JR, I'm gonna
point blanker.
Speaker 4 (01:27:15):
It has to be Johnny. It has to be Johnny.
Speaker 1 (01:27:18):
It cannot be watched this at the top three suspects
I'm calling it right now. Nope, it's gonna be Sammy Sanel,
Johnny Yep.
Speaker 4 (01:27:28):
Camp I mean, can't be Sammy, I don't I agree
with you. I think it's gonna be.
Speaker 3 (01:27:34):
It cannot cannot be, Sammy.
Speaker 4 (01:27:38):
They can't be.
Speaker 1 (01:27:38):
Saying me because it's because again we've played this beat
too many times with Sammy and e J.
Speaker 4 (01:27:44):
We've played this Ye to me.
Speaker 1 (01:27:47):
If Janelle Chanelle is doing it because of Johnny, but
that's gonna make me say, Okay, Daves, are y'all about
to write my girl out? But at the same time,
I'm like, Johnny it has.
Speaker 4 (01:27:58):
To be because he will be so he would be
so oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (01:28:03):
But at the same time, you know who else is
my other stuff that young would be like, really, Candace roman.
Speaker 4 (01:28:11):
M we're seeing it here. I see honestly my own
aspected ballot and and think about how that could play
out too. Yeah, all right, well, let's let's stop the bullet.
Speaker 3 (01:28:30):
There's something else. There's someone else coming back on that
that brings it on, and.
Speaker 1 (01:28:37):
It was that.
Speaker 3 (01:28:40):
It's the race look alike.
Speaker 1 (01:28:44):
Yeah, he beg And that's you know what, that's probably
why Johnny finds out you know what, I toltally forgot
about that. Remember race double ganger was a racist?
Speaker 4 (01:28:55):
Oh my god, what was his name?
Speaker 5 (01:28:59):
I forget righting on so.
Speaker 1 (01:29:05):
Right, So I'm thinking that's how when Johnny finds out,
and then Johnny might say something and Roman is like,
you know, ej your father was a racist. I say,
because of that, that's gonna because of Race Brooker lights
coming back. It's gonna trigger Sammy and them. And then
also in the promo, we got day one the original
(01:29:28):
cast member. We got really we got Julie, the original woman.
So that's Julie's aunt, yeah right, yeah, y'alls from if y'all. Yeah,
(01:29:52):
And also we also saw a young man, a mystery
man mm hmmmm, hmmm hmm. And Julie apparently apparently I'm
gonna say that's her great Grayton, that's her nephew or
her great nephew, which is another courting well not a Horton,
but you know often. And then on top of that,
(01:30:17):
we got Race and Jada getting engaged. No comment will
be made from me. It is what it is, folks,
you see.
Speaker 4 (01:30:27):
And we got bow Bowl.
Speaker 1 (01:30:29):
Is gonna be walking through the doors, and and we
got Sierra looking at the mystery box.
Speaker 4 (01:30:38):
And that's it, right, don't it. Yes? I think that, yeah,
I think that I'm.
Speaker 1 (01:30:46):
Want to tell you this right now. I said this
from jump. I know that the last couple of years
when Dazel I was behind the scenes. It's been here,
It's been said, it's been tortured, it's everything I said.
When they you know it's been hard, I said, they're
about to hit a mouthstone and let's be Can we
all be real for a second. A lot of people
(01:31:08):
didn't think they to allow people you want to get here, yep,
So this is a time to sell little.
Speaker 4 (01:31:15):
Great good times come on and they are going because
not only did they do the one year, not only
did they you know did they did? They not do
the Okay, we're gonna give you another year. Let's see
what happens. We said, Okay, we're gonna show face, yep,
give you not only not only are we gonna bring
you to your anniversary, We're gonna give you your anniversary
(01:31:37):
year and an extra into the next one.
Speaker 1 (01:31:39):
Damn.
Speaker 4 (01:31:40):
Make it for us, baby, make it for us.
Speaker 1 (01:31:42):
And you got and you know, Ken Corday did do
an interview talking about the importance of female representation in
daytime hop. You know you're gonna have new female writers.
Dan you got Danik Stauman Ducker over there, during her thing.
You got Pauline and you got Jeanie Flour they go
to be over there today. Today's episode was by Lynn Martin. Yes, girl, Hey,
(01:32:06):
I just gotta give her a plug. That's just the same.
Speaker 3 (01:32:09):
But don't forget who you merrit. Yeah, I mean we
just I just don't think Anthony knows me.
Speaker 4 (01:32:20):
I'll tell you later. All right, So let's all right, it's.
Speaker 1 (01:32:29):
The show that's actually making a change a little bit.
I'm I'm shock yep, I'm flabbergast.
Speaker 4 (01:32:37):
Let's let's let's go on to poor Charles. I'm going
to say something that I think, actually, you know, I
think we are pretty much in the in the general
hospital fandom split fifty to fifty at that point. I'm
taking this. I'm taking aside. I don't like I don't
like the storyline. I didn't like the storyline. The aftermath
(01:33:01):
is exactly, almost to a tea, exactly what I was
hoping for down to Friday's episode. So, you know, Kelly,
may God be with you and hopefully the young and
the restless or the bold and the beautiful, because I
don't think this is the end of your daytime career,
and you know, it's pitched down the hospital. You may
(01:33:22):
not be dead after all. But having said that, this
aftermath is just about everything. I've got a lot more
to say. But David, you've done the least talking tonight.
So what are you loving and hating right now?
Speaker 3 (01:33:36):
In Port Charles, I'm I'm loving the performances. I mean,
right just out of just out of Sam's passing alone,
I said, I was crying with Dominic, I was crying
(01:33:57):
with Nancy. I was, yeah, crying with Jason and the kids.
The only one I saw was maybe a little I
don't know why, but Drew wasn't really showing it. And
(01:34:20):
I know I'm not the only one who hears that,
but he has other problems. But that I'm loving, I think,
I know know they're they're mixing it up in there.
I mean, I'm I'm loving what's happening. I'm a love
(01:34:41):
I'm loving. I'm loving watching it happened.
Speaker 4 (01:34:48):
He did well, Dad, What do you think?
Speaker 3 (01:34:51):
No, I don't think so.
Speaker 4 (01:34:56):
I'm gonna throw I'm gonna throw it to you in
this way. Do you think that Lulu waking up as
quickly as just going to happen, as going to kill
the trajectory of the emotion that we're ringing out of it.
I'm sorry, I hope. I'm gonna ask you this first.
Do you are you on the side then I'm on
(01:35:17):
that this is the aftermath? Is everything with this storyline?
Speaker 5 (01:35:21):
Oh yeah, I've been super invested in the past two weeks.
I've been a stobbing mess, so when I cry like,
I'm invested.
Speaker 4 (01:35:28):
So now with late with Lady Alexa about to open
her eyes, do you think that that's going to kill
the emotional trajectory of this storyline.
Speaker 5 (01:35:40):
I think it's going to take it in a different
direction for sure, because we have everyone who's grieving in
mourning for Sam, and they're all dealing with it in
their own way. So I definitely feel like once Lulu
wakes up, it's going to fift things, and I could
(01:36:03):
see it maybe taking away from some of everything with Sam,
especially for Dante, because you know, then he has to
deal with with Lulu waking up. So I could definitely
see a shift once Lulu wakes up and maybe not
(01:36:24):
have as much emphasis on the aftermath of Sam's death
and what it's doing, and more of the focus on
Lulu being awake and what that means. For everyone who's connected.
Speaker 4 (01:36:37):
To her, to Candace real quick as well Candace. For me,
I have changed the trajectory of what I need to
see now. I need to see Dante blame Lulu go.
Speaker 1 (01:36:50):
Okay, I say, Lulu is going to be waking up
to not only a whole new world, but people that
cared or somewhat cared for her are going to have feelings,
because they're going to have some very strong, hateful feelings
towards her, because again, Dante lost somebody because of her.
Speaker 4 (01:37:16):
Right now, Dante is in a state of.
Speaker 1 (01:37:21):
I don't understand how the world works right now, and
I'm about to blame everybody, and I'm taking down everybody too.
Speaker 4 (01:37:29):
Then it comes down to.
Speaker 1 (01:37:31):
The aftermath of this.
Speaker 4 (01:37:32):
Look, here's the.
Speaker 1 (01:37:33):
Same We knew it was happening, but even when it
was going to happen, the emotions was running high because
we didn't know our girl was going to get engaged.
Speaker 4 (01:37:44):
Yeah, one, that was a touch to throw to us.
Before it happened, we all thought she just wasn't gonna
wake up, or she was gonna flatline on the table.
Speaker 1 (01:37:55):
Exactly the fact that you have, Lucas, and I want.
Speaker 4 (01:38:01):
To take this time to say to then that's your wrong.
Speaker 1 (01:38:04):
No, boy, that is your role. You didn't because when
he first and almost the fact that he was going
to do the surgery, I.
Speaker 4 (01:38:13):
Said, oh, dear girl. I was like, oh child, oh lord, SI, let.
Speaker 1 (01:38:18):
Me tell you something. This story is played out. I
mean again, Kelly girl, I'm gonna miss you. But I
know down the road, I know when one door closes,
another one will open, and when it does, you go
through it. Okay, and you take that opportunity and we're
going to be right there with you. Okay. I'm just
telling you right now. But let me tell you this
general hospital was general hospital to me.
Speaker 4 (01:38:40):
Okay, I felt like I was watching a prime time show,
to be honest.
Speaker 1 (01:38:43):
When see went, you saw the emotions of a person
who is not only a doctor and has to do
this every single day.
Speaker 4 (01:38:51):
But that was his sister. Yep, the part of it
with the ex husband only da.
Speaker 1 (01:39:00):
But here's the same Lucas is Luther's cousin. Yeah, okay,
so he's all too Okay, then you have the mother.
I'm gonna say this right now, Nancy Lee, grown honey.
If y'all don't know and don't understand why she is
(01:39:22):
a daytime and the award winner. I hope your right
carefully because home girl, and keep in mind, she's a
mother in real life, so half of that was and
not only that, but she loved Kelly Manico to But
when she starts staying and questioning God and saying, my
daughter was trying to do something nice and this is
what you did. You took her away. No, no parents
(01:39:45):
should bury their child child. And I was like, I
thought those things, but.
Speaker 4 (01:39:52):
Then I'm gonna tell you I'm gonna take Molly too.
Speaker 1 (01:39:55):
By the way, wait a man, hold up, you know again,
Like you know this story line, it's so so real
to the point that I want to single one person out.
I mean, let me just say that Steve Burtons, yep,
I thank you for doing to say, but that's not
(01:40:15):
the person I want to shout out. I want to
also give a shout out to Bradford Anderson and all
of them, the young the young actors who plays out yep.
Speaker 4 (01:40:28):
To me knocking it out. Everybody brought their eight game.
Speaker 1 (01:40:34):
Absolutely, but it was just the girl who played out
because she was the only one that was the only
person to say, mommy, are you sure you want to
do this? Are you going to be okay?
Speaker 4 (01:40:47):
Yeah, yeah, I want to go back because you know
there was that whole controversy online as well. You know
that Dante should have been in there first. No, I'm sorry.
They played the beats right. They had Dante's celebrating and
that made the juxtaposition even so much more emotional. So
you know, honestly, that was a great call to make,
(01:41:10):
and we did. Jay Sam Fams deserved their moment. They
deserved their moment. The folk of Kelly Monicle's time on
this show has been as he as he the foil
to Jason, so you know, they deserved that moment, and
they did it realistically, they didn't have him. I've always
loved you, and I shouldn't never let you. Guys should
(01:41:32):
have changed. No, he was still Jason, but a Jason
that we could connect with, right, But you know what,
also by the the.
Speaker 1 (01:41:42):
Way they they Okay, let me just be very clear
with where I stand at what's there? Before this, I
didn't understand Jason being on the show anymore. And I'm
gonna say it's because of the writing. It's because he
was still so cold. I do you ever saying everybody
else told me to do okay to me, I said,
(01:42:03):
once Sam dies, they're going to have to do something,
because if he doesn't react, that's why I'm gonna officially say,
you know, no offense, but bye. When Jason when first
and almost when when that scene when everybody was saying goodbye,
for when Sam was getting ready for surgery, I was
(01:42:24):
actually surprised to see Jason.
Speaker 4 (01:42:28):
I was surprised to see him.
Speaker 1 (01:42:31):
And then going forward, how he was talking to the children,
I said, because Jason knows something. But when he stood by,
like when he froze, when they said when Electus was
talking and Eliztbus was like explaining the situation before, like
even before the you know, before all of that, he
(01:42:53):
saw the people coming out of the hospital room. Going
in the hospitalroom, he told the kids to go.
Speaker 4 (01:42:58):
And he went into that.
Speaker 1 (01:42:59):
Place test of low and again, look, we're not gonna
do this whole thing because I saw this online up. Well,
if he's kindness, no.
Speaker 4 (01:43:07):
No, no no.
Speaker 1 (01:43:09):
In that moment, he was thinking about his his child's mother.
And yes, I know he has another child out there.
I know that, but in this present moment, the mother
was not in the best condition. I love the fact
that he did have that moment because I do seem
as though for that fandom, for the Jay Sam fandom, Okay,
(01:43:33):
they've been little, they've been they've been I'm gonna be honest,
I'm gonna be controversial. They have kind of been weakly
wonkily okay. And when I say that, it's because we
got you know, another person, Billy Nolan, mister baby. You know,
they play the Jay famb all the way in different different.
Speaker 4 (01:43:51):
Fact they worn out, they were out, and you know
that the butt was the butt pocket was falling off
the jeans. Yep.
Speaker 1 (01:43:59):
Right, So if that is that, you know, the reality
was that Sam told him to never be afraid of
who you truly are. But yeah, so the reality is
that Jason, you now have to step up because of
your child, was her and the aftermath of it all.
They've been playing the beat so well that I'm just like, oh,
(01:44:23):
this this is genteral hospital for me. Right.
Speaker 4 (01:44:26):
I want to answer the other controversy that's sound there
right now too. First off, shout out to the little Xenom,
the little gnom nod. You know, don't know what I
bet this is sober for folks. We are going to
have we are going to have light Ballance Stark. We're
(01:44:49):
going to have moments and sometimes and if you really
close your eyes and you think about those scenes and
what they were going back and forth from, it is
even more dramatic and darring because we were going back
and forth from frivolity and and and Venato pure and
unadult rating with a grief.
Speaker 1 (01:45:09):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (01:45:09):
It was so strong, it was so sharp. It was
really really, really really good writing, just incredibly well done writing.
Now I'm gonna let's let's transition a little bit. Here's
something that I have been saying and Kandas has been
calling for the longest time. We are so darn ready
for Dark Dante. You know we did some dark up
(01:45:31):
and Salem. We are so dawn ready for for Dark Dante.
And I got to tell you General Hospital. You have
tried it now about five times. Dark Michael does not work.
Dark Let me repeat you do you want to take notes?
Dark Michael does not work. M h can just just go.
Speaker 1 (01:45:56):
I'm just gonna cut out and say yep, okay. Just
told Drew Willow Michael sang and saw. Now here's the bonus.
I did not know we were gonna have Mike go
on sacial hook.
Speaker 4 (01:46:06):
Up like that. I love girl, but hold up.
Speaker 1 (01:46:16):
I also would like to think whoever decided to go
left instead of right by having Cody be the one
to say that about Drew. Yeah, because I gain if
you had Tody on your big old card to be
the one to say it. I'm like, but again, my
whole thing is that I noticed a change with the
writing of this show and how they're doing it, and
(01:46:39):
I applaud them. But you're right if Michael it's a
joke when he's dark and he's doing all this because
you're wanting and complaining, baby, Okay, I'm going to meet
see this who Drew Willow saying, yes, it came out
left field. I understand you want to scandal. I mean
this is the quarter means were crying out loud Monica
was dating Ned while he was with Alan.
Speaker 4 (01:47:00):
Okay, so there you go. But the problem is it's
a couple of problems.
Speaker 1 (01:47:07):
One, you're gonna really need to address certain things about
Willow's character here. Yeah, with Drew, I'm like, Okay, to me,
this isn't drews. This is so not Drew.
Speaker 4 (01:47:18):
I don't know who this is, but this ain't Drew.
Speaker 1 (01:47:21):
If you're gonna try to create anks between Michael and Willow. Okay, fine,
let's go there, let's do it. But at the same time,
you got Michael peeping in, looking and every saying it's like, okay,
are you gonna blackmail him? At the what I wanted
was a video.
Speaker 4 (01:47:36):
I'm gonna need a video to be played.
Speaker 1 (01:47:38):
And I still stag with that. But the thing is
is that you telling Sonny in the preview, I guess
he's took for alert. He's telling Jason. I'm like Michael.
The way that they write Michael. Now, I just shake
my head. I just really do. Because it's like, again,
(01:47:58):
we can have daw Johnson, so we can have Doc Lucky, Okay,
we can have Doc.
Speaker 4 (01:48:04):
Cody, we can have Doc. But with Michael it's sort
of a joke.
Speaker 1 (01:48:09):
Because we know that he's not gonna be what is
he gonna do?
Speaker 4 (01:48:13):
What real?
Speaker 1 (01:48:14):
What real damage can he do to Drew and word Doc?
Because the thing is is that baby that you did
the same thing. You went over there and you hooked
up with Sarsha, but again you actually did worse and
then Willow did. But the thing is, just like I
feel though they're trying to create some kind of anks
and yet obviously you know it's nail pregnancy. Oh Jesus,
(01:48:38):
but we really need to have a pregnancy in all
of this, because I know I didn't.
Speaker 4 (01:48:42):
Well, here's the thing. We got Chase and Tasha, you know,
you know, trying to usher in the family baby. The
real baby's boring today, right, right, So there's gotta be
too pregnancy. It's either gonna be Willow or it's gonna Sasha,
and it's you know, and I'm sorry, I'm sorry, General Hospital.
(01:49:06):
You're setting it up for two women who have gone
through so darn much, and now you set up another
baby story. I feel it, I see it. I feel
I don't need saying I.
Speaker 1 (01:49:14):
Don't need a baby switch storyline. But at the same time,
I don't even need a baby storyline because I.
Speaker 4 (01:49:20):
Don't need a baby storyline at all. Don't do it.
Reverse before now, reverse it, because my.
Speaker 1 (01:49:25):
Whole thing is that, Okay, if you do that, that
means Michael, God, all of phone call Nina's kids, because
remember we used to say Sasha was Nina too.
Speaker 4 (01:49:36):
That means uh, janew now and Willow.
Speaker 1 (01:49:44):
Don't do this, please, I'm begging you on so many
layers like even if you give a prenecy scare, let's
just go ahead and do it aprenecy scare.
Speaker 4 (01:49:53):
Just let's just just pull the band aid off. No,
let us, let us actually have an abortion on screen.
The last the last time they had in the border
was Lulu. They're not going to do it. They're not
going to know what i'd don't do it at all.
Don't do it at all because you have you have
played with babies in the last ten years too many times,
(01:50:19):
especially with Ssa, especially with Willow. Oh for them, But
you think about.
Speaker 1 (01:50:26):
It, I will say, but but it's still is a
trigger for for Sasa, because Sasa lost her baby.
Speaker 4 (01:50:33):
Her baby dies. Of course, show did Willows. That's what
I'm saying. Yeah, come on, they're setting up the battle
of which mother is more sympathetic. I can feel it,
and I don't like it. I am loving just about
everything else. I really am leaving just about everything else
