talk about this real quick. Assome of you guys may or may not
know, I think we talked aboutthis last time. The Daytime Emmys is

scheduled for June seventh on CBS,which is a Friday. The nominations is
probably gonna come out either this weekor the following week. And the reason
that the Emmys are so early isbecause if guys have been living on the
rocks, there might be another strikehappening. Hopefully it doesn't happen. Last

year, you guys know, theSAG strike didn't affect the daytime actors,
even though there were some daytime actorsthat was you know, unified with SAG.
The new medium contract in which Daytimehas expired in June, June thirty
of the exact, which is normallywhen the Daytime Emmys is. So hopefully

there's no strike. So far,there hasn't been any words about anything,
so hopefully not going what we're goodor solid. Another thing too, is
that it was just released today.You know, we lost Bill Hayes early,
you know, right, and whatnot, and a lot of people have

been asking like what are they goingto do? What are they going to
do? Well, we found outtoday what they are going to do now.
Right now, this is the lastmonth of their scab writing with Sherry
Anderson. Next month begins to walkHomes just the last month. Starting in
May, Ron car Body's writing willreturn. And one of the things that

they have been doing is to kindof what I said they should be doing,
is you know, they wait alittle bit and for everybody to you
know, get it all out,and then they start to what they need
to do. We did find outtoday that in December they will be saying
goodbye to Doug. Now Bill Hayes'slast episode actually is in the summer,

it's actually in the summer, butobviously you know, you know, so
in December it will also be they'regonna have Doug's memorial as well as a
historical fifteenth thousand episodes, which thefifteenth thousand episode to Day's All Lives will
be on December. Second Doug memorial. We do not know just yet the

date for it, but we doknow that so far, so far,
they are reaching out to the castto see who is gonna be returning.
There's some people still in the contractnegotiation spot. However, on the Locker

to everybody and you know, noworry yet about Chrystal Fons though I think

say this, I think we forgetthat these people have lives. They have

away the break times that they get, you're basically filming eleven months out of
the year. So it is itis almost impossible to get high profile projects.
And now, as we all know, you know, with the writers,
the actors strikes and Hollywood coming back, production you know is not as

solid and as oil. You know, the machinery is all cranky and rossty,
and it means the oiling and things. And so when time things changed
and you know, and commitment promisesended up changing, it seems that there's
some you know, unhappiness on bothsides. You kind of have to expect

this. This is the nature ofthe Beast and this you know, this
young guy, you know, youngman, adults absolutely, but he has
brought an incredible energy, a lotof eyeballs back to you know that support
Charles. So I'm not first andforemost I was never happy with them killing

him quote unquote killing him off.We have had this discussion many many times
on the show. But how manypeople were going to kill him bring back
in, you know, and thatthe fans kind of know what's happening.
Forget about the you know Jake Webber, you know Elizabeth Song coming back.

could have had him off Canvas,and so I am not I'm not happy
with this situation right now, Canvas. Okay, So this is a little

was the writer strike. So ohospital, Frank, Dad, and Chris,
I want you to listen to me, because I know that I'm going

on on our audition for this project. You allowed it, okay, right

Nicholas his rap and Nicholas had totell Frank about all this. Okay,
go ahead and say it. Theyhad to tell Frank about this to make
arrangements for his schedules to line up. Okay, this is actually what they

do. Okay. So you hadto write a strike, you had some
time, You had time, Okay. Then you had an actor strike,
which meant the project was put onhold until further notice. Nobody knew how
long this was going to have been. At the same time, this is
where Danny Chris should have and I'mgonna say this, Danny Chris and dumb

saying it and all of them.They gave Spencer and Trina something. However,
however that was still a problem.They wasn't really doing something with them.
And then all of a sudden weget to this point, right,

we get to him and has mefallen off and it's like the classic situation.

out that Avery Poler, who playedEssie, was released from contracts six months
prior to what we saw. Theywere waiting to line up for Nicholas.
This is why Nicholas got the leased, because they figured that's the best way

for him to go. I'm gonnabecause Avery got an amazing opportunity in her
own right. Yeah, and Godbless when you've worked all these years for

that you're not giving us Trina's story. And the thing is is that before

like how they're doing Josh and Trina, but they were friends. Cameron was

need to do something else. Writersand second producers, you need to have

is that one the show has donea character reset. They have done a

This is a problem because here's thething. For those who said there's
no young black couples on television.I'm going to save this. That's because

early two thousands. This is notlike the nineties or even the eighties,
when the eighties was a little difficultto write for At Sabby Morgan because she'll
tell you that story, Okay,when it comes down to interracial coupling regarding
if this leg of white Mexican,Japanese or anything else like that, it
is so hard to write for becausethat's what's going on right down as you

speak. Everybody is either whipped itor against it. So as a writer,
you have to make sure you areboth vote for both both sets writing
them as a couple. Candace,Candace, let's call it, let's let's
really call it what it is.They have to set the story up in

one of like three very scrubbed directionsso that the audience will forget to pay
attention to this is an interracial couple. And you know, this is not
the first soap to have done itwhere they don't mention it, or it's
barely in an episode somewhere here whereyou know there's an almost back to school

after school moment and it, youknow, fleetingly zips away before you even
realize this happened. This is whatthey do, and we get it.
But then I will give them this. They played on everyone loving the dance

between Trina and Specier. They didn'tdo it the way they wanted them to
do it, but they but theydo enough of it in it. They
play on it. And you know, we keep saying somebody meets somebody on
day one, on day ten,they're already about to get in bed,
and on you know, the thirdmonth, they're engaged. So I did

I didn't really want to congratulate themon that side of it. On that
piece of it. They created thatcouple and they and they drafted that story
that hooked a nice amount of people. I'm still hooked a little bit.
I'm still because you know, forme, I'm just I miss young couples

on Dave Consols. And when Isay I missed you, I missed the
courts ship. I know that's likeprobably old fashioned is the courts ship.
But I missed the ship. Imissed getting to know the characters individually.
They had the individual personas going intobeing a couple. Because I'm going to

be honest, there's some young couplesout there so may not still be on
this on their souls. That oneof them brought their identity while the other
one was getting proper and that wasa huge problem for me. Or I
have to hear these young couples haveto have a baby, they have to

get married. No they don't.They can still be a couple and have
it without fighting down the line.You can have that. But right now,
like we're still getting into the freshwater as I call it, you
know where, Yes, they justsuspended all the odds so far, you

know what I'm saying so far,But I do want to see the couples
be happy. I want to seethe individuals in the couple have their keep
their identity and what it's going onfrom there. And I think the writers
have forgotten how to do that.I'll be honest. I think the writers

have definitely gotten right razy and I'vedone it. I think when it comes
down to if we're going to gothere into racial coupling, I think,
you know, again, everything ispieces and herbs. You know, it's
not sugar and spice and everything nice. But I get it. They don't
want to create or piss off anybody. I get it. I feel it

though with it being a same racecouple. The thing is is that it's
easy to ritele one than the otherbecause if you write them and do something
like out of left field, it'sgoing to be a controversy. And I'm
gonna say this about Trina. Yeah, okay, if she was to date

one, because this is what happenedto Lily went on ask on. I
was gonna say as Walter, asJesus on Young and Rustlers. You know,
see, she's just with Dan,y'all. Then she was with Tyler,
then she was with Kine, thenshe was with Joe, then she
was and I'm gonna be honest,y'all know what they say about Lily on

social media. That's why I sayit's for for women. It's a no
win situation. And I'm just gonnasay this, and it's really it's easy
for guys then girl for for females. When it comes down to this kind
of stuff, I will say thisCenteral Hospital. I hope you know what

there who see out of their buttto try to cause some more friction on
social media. They try, they'lltry to get you to do something or
say something that will get you introuble. And if your brother sending a

fandom that has been very positive,don't let these people get to you.
And for those who are who's datingand taking it funny and stuff, I'm
just gonna tell you this right now, it's not and for you to that
level because you feel as though it'sarousal, then we need to talk to

you about your mentality, about yourmental state. Because again, everybody is
allowed to have their opinions, theyalready do. They allowed to have their
opinions, but if you can't respectthose opinions or other people, you know,
again, there's two things I doall the time, and answering,

last couple of episodes, I thinkthey might. I think they might pull
it off. Just setting it upin a way where they could definitely pull

hamster wheel. We've been getting sameold, same old, same old,

get something different, and we don'tknow how to react to it, yep,
because the thing is that we've beenused this art alive in condition that

changes these characters will never change becausethat's how these characters have been for thirty
years. We're allowed to understand that, so society is supposed to be like
