Hey, good evening everybody. This is David from Take two

(01:27):
and the three of us would like to welcome our
newest member. This was supposed to happen last show, but
we were technically uh discontinued.
Speaker 5 (01:41):
Challenged there, Yeah, yeah, we were chilling, so.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
Yeah, miss.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
He has a regular.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Yay having host.
Speaker 5 (02:02):
Well, as you know, we tend to have a lot
of fun on here, but you know, we get we
get our moments where we have the soapbox out and things,
but we wanted to definitely welcome you in a fun way.
So before we get to the show itself, let's dive
into you a little bit. The last time you went on,
(02:23):
you told us a little bit about your soulp history,
but let's get to know you a little bit more.
What is your favorite storyline ever? What is your favorite
super couple? And what was the one thing that shocked
you that you never thought you'd see on a soap?
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Oh my goodness. Oh so I'm gonna do talk to
favorite couples because I can't decide. My top favorite couple
on Days of Our Lives is, uh, Steve and Kayla.
I love Stephen Nick and Mary Beth Evans, so they
(03:02):
were my favorite couple on Days. And then my favorite
couple on All My Children was Edmund and Maria. I
kind of started watching My Children because of their story
and I got to meet Evil Luru and John Callahan,
so that was really exciting. So they're my favorite couple.
(03:25):
What was it what were the other questions?
Speaker 5 (03:29):
Favorite storyline ever.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
Favorite storyline ever?
Speaker 6 (03:33):
Oh, probably my favorite storyline was with on Days of
Our Lives with Austin and Sammy and Carrie, when Sammy.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
Drugged Austin and got pregnant and tried to pass baby
Will off as Austin's my near stories. And then probably
the one storyline that shocked.
Speaker 7 (04:09):
Me the most was on Bold and the Beautiful when
Mile was it was revealed, revealed that she was transgendered.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
And she was Myron before becoming.
Speaker 8 (04:27):
So yeah, a lot of yeah, I never I never
saw that, Like what the heck?
Speaker 5 (04:35):
So well they guessed, let us making us believe that
that Maya had had a child, so you know, expected that.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (04:48):
So it has been a couple of weeks since we've
been together, and there have been some losses in our community.
I'm gonna start out by the one that I think
rocked and shocked and and you know, just sent ripples
throughout our community, and that's Drake. Drake Hoake think a ka, Well,
(05:14):
he was Roman, he was John, but he was yeah,
he was a poeon he was off. He is junior,
you know, he he he was a baseball player in
real life, and he was probably the best leading man
to play opposite our wonderful Marlena. He will be This
(05:38):
is definitely some a loss that that was very very
deeply felt, and he will be missed, very very deeply. Again,
I know, I know your heart is breaking. I know
you had a crush on on Drake a little bit.
Talk to us, tell him, tell us how you.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Feeling to say that this shock. It shocked the hell
out of me because it still seems unreal to even
say he's gone. That's the crazy part. It's like, you know,
(06:20):
we found out Saturday. I'm not going to dove into
the previous hours, but on Saturday when everybody found out,
it was like, you know, we were all doing our
normal things. We were like, you know, talking on the phone,
we were doing all this and then all of a
sudden it said, you know, breaking news, Drake hoaxed and
passed away. Because I think for the most part, all
(06:41):
of us, all Dasala's posts, like everybody saw the official
statement from the family and then Daves las King Corday
and it was sort of like way mate, hold out,
time out, wait a minute, where wa wait wait wait
wait wait wait wait a minute And you had to
read everything. And then as you know, we found out
all that, it was just like wait, wait what, Like okay,
(07:06):
we all need to sit down and process was going on.
Day Thompson was let me, let me tell y'all something
about Drake. I only met him one time, one time,
but I echo what everybody has said. It feels like
you've known him for so long, obviously because you watched
(07:27):
him on TV, right, but personally it felt like you
like we were friends. Like we could talk about baseball. Yes,
he you know, did minor league baseball, you know, the
Yankees and all that oils, Like he knows his baseball. Okay.
So it's just like he was so humble. He a humbled,
(07:48):
and he was so grateful towards his other co stars
and the community and the fans, and he understood the
assignment of just being a human being without the drama
that he played on the soap proper right. So yeah,
the sad part, the real sad part is is that
you know, we we didn't know obviously that he had cancer.
(08:20):
And I think also there was a double there was
a there was a couple of things when we all
found out, is that when we found out what he
passed away from. I think some of us. Okay, when
you're watching Days of Our Lives, if you've been watching
very carefully, you may have noticed something. But again you
(08:45):
don't want to say anything, because look, we live in
a world where everybody says something, but nine times to
understand you're dead wrong, right, so right, So it was
sort of like, you know, in the back of your hat,
you knew something was up. I mean, keep in mind,
this man has gone through some stuff prior you know
he fell, he you know, his hearing and stuff like that.
(09:06):
But it was just the weight out made the weight
the weight drop distraining. But again you don't want to
say yet, you don't want to say anything, right, And
then the fact that you know he wasn't on Days
as much. But again, you know, hey, you know, as
(09:30):
you get older, you want to spend time with your family.
You know that could be going on too. But here's
where canna start to really worry. Like this is before
we found out, y'all. On November second is the day
of Day of Day's event in Los Angeles. It's free,
by the way, you can go. You just got to
(09:50):
get away out to California, Okay, and every year it's
Dedre Hall, Drake koguson MMMM. This year it was diegel Hall,
Stephen Nichols. There was no Drake and that was my
(10:14):
red flag. And then we found out and I'm you know,
it hurts because the next day was his birthday. Yeah,
and I said, I said, you know what, Drake, you
messed up because you just learning then well, we were
going to party hard with you down here, and we
(10:34):
firmly did. But we understand you wanted to go to
having to see Babe Ruth because he was such a
baseball guy, right, and she wanted to probably see Betty
and Ted and Ted Corday and and all of them
and you know, Joseph and you know, stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
But it was hard.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
It was just hard to even process. And then you know,
you know, Davie life tasted five thousand years in a van. Yeah,
and so you know about yeah, so you know, we're
like thinking, okay, you know, they probably paid some stuff.
But when they had revealed that we've already seen the
(11:11):
last episode of Drake, that's when that hit. That hit
everybody because it was like, wait, we thought we had
more time, you know, but to know that February sixteenth
was his last uh tape dates like for him to
be in the studio and September what was the September
seventh was his final air date. Yeah, that's yeah nice,
(11:37):
that's fun. Was Yeah, that's when I think. I me personally,
I cried because it was like, wait, I'm not going
to see him anymore, and to be honest, up until
we'm I say yes, let me see women today. It's Monday,
So Saturday, yeah, real like Saturday. I actually sat down
(11:59):
and watched Date. I have not watched Day since his
passing because it's hard to process the fact that one
he's gone, like he's not gonna be there for Thanksgiving,
he's not gonna be there when the return of you know,
Bell and all of them gonna be there. And on
(12:20):
top of that, he is such a part of the
cornerstone of Days of our Lives and also the super
couple of the of the genre John and man Lane,
whether your lifetime or nine, they are a super couple,
staple of this genre. And he's such a corner like
(12:42):
I said, a cornerstone and like I said, trouble sayings.
My thoughts and prayers goes out to his family and
his colleague. But I gotta give the ultimate respect to
everybody at days of our lives at Peacock and a
sony who knew about this and did not look this
out to anybody. And I respect the fact that, you know, again,
(13:04):
I'm not gonna talk about the previous hours, but for
those who knew who kept it quiet, I applaud you.
I'll respect.
Speaker 5 (13:13):
Because absolutely, you know, yeah, the one statement that came
out from the family, you know, basically said he didn't
want everybody worrying about him. He didn't want to be
in the focus for this reason. He knew that when
it when it came down to it, I'm assuming through
(13:34):
the way that the statement was worded, he knew this
was going to be a big story. Let it happen
after he was gone. He didn't want people to be
waiting month after month, wondering, et cetera, et cetera. I
do want to I want to inject something light for
a moment, folks that have been listening to the show
for a long time. Not that in my previous life
with the Associated Press, I met and interviewed a lot
(13:57):
of soap opera people, and as a fan of the too,
you know, super soap weekends and thousands of events. I
never had the opportunity to spend any time with Drake.
I've been in the same room with him two or
three times, but I've never actually had a conversation. But
i will tell you. For an anniversary, I don't remember
(14:17):
which anniversary it was. In the late two thousand and
eight to nine period, I interviewed a whole bunch of
folks from Days, and the one thing that they all
said was that Drake was the keeper of the history
of Days. If you had a question about something that happened,
(14:38):
even Minished skule As, you know, as a person on
the show, all you had to go. All you had
to do was go to Drake. Hey could tell you
the name, the episode, the whole storyline. He was the
history keeper.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Oh.
Speaker 5 (14:52):
Everybody that came through those doors relied on him and
loved on him. And he was so willing to share
his you know, his knowledge, his you know. He would
he would tell folks, I'm not the greatest actor. I
may not even be a good actor, but I love acting.
Here's my thing. He was just such a cool, cool dude, David.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
Well. It was a kicking the stomach for me because
I remember him right from the beginning, uh up until
the end. And I have to tell you, listening to
those interviews, I think it was entertainment tonight. I was
I was falling listening to Christopher Sean.
Speaker 5 (15:44):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm saying that he.
Speaker 4 (15:47):
Was a beacon of hope, a beacon of love.
Speaker 5 (15:52):
And you know, we say, we say he was the
nicest guy. He was loved exactly. This is one of
those cases, truly, truly, truly, if you had a problem
with Drake, it was your problem. No, everybody loved him.
If you had a problem with Drake, it was your problem,
(16:14):
all right, Ash.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
I know, like when I first read about it, like
I didn't want to think that it was true, and
I like did a double take and had a read
it a good couple of times for it to sink in,
and even the next morning, it still didn't feel real
like he was gone. Sometimes I feel like like all
these deaths that happened that are like so shocking that
(16:38):
none of us see coming probably hurt the worst and
they're probably the most difficult to deal with the kind
of come to terms with. And just within the past
couple weeks of watching the episodes, it just feels so
weird that he's not there and he's not gonna come back,
and it just feels weird that like Seebidra as Morlena
(16:58):
talk about him and then like everyone Brady you know,
talk about him and just knowing that he's not there
and he's not coming back. So that's kind of where
I'm at right now with it all. I know, it's
it's real, but it just it still just feels very
raw at certain point of things.
Speaker 5 (17:23):
You know, somebody had said on social media recently, like
everybody's dying, a very slippant kind of comment, and you
have to think to yourselves for the time and space
of the super you know, period of soaps, the eighties
(17:43):
and nineties, you know these we're in that space where
we're gonna lose folks. You know, not everybody gets to
live to be Betty White's age, and it's shocking, it's
it hurts, but we have to. We have to celebrate
the life, the careers, the moments.
Speaker 8 (18:05):
That they gave us.
Speaker 5 (18:06):
But we have a few more canvas.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
Yeah, So then literally I'm gonna say about let me
see and about Drake on Saturday. So someday when uh
four days later. That's when Billy Warlock, you guys know
Billy Frankie jam you you know, on General Hospital a
j he came on Twitter, which he normally does not do,
(18:33):
you guys, to announce that Ron Hall passed away from
now some of you guys know him, it's the Oz Mike,
but some of you guys know him as doctor Ridge
on Royan's Hope. And yeah, he passed away on now
it was announced, you know again here in October, but
(18:55):
he actually passed away on August twenty seventh, but you
know they had, you know, announced it. This was another shocker.
And I'm going to tell you him to explain why
because racis from those who don't know he had retired.
He retired like back at the twenty and ten to
(19:16):
live a nice quiet life in South Carolina. He was
seventy eight years old by the wile. And it was
just one of those things where it was like, oh,
we doing a day's outgo of last year. And what
I mean by that, it's like it seemed like every
other day, every other week, somebody that we watched, like
(19:38):
you said, Anthony had passed away, you know, and I
know we thought he wasn't here for this person I
definitely noticed. But I also want to give a nod
to James Old Jones because yes, we know, y'all know
him lyon King Coming to America and the Saw Wars,
(19:59):
but he was ours in the soap genre. First, he
was on God Life. He was going to ask of
all currents, and of course we know what he has done.
But again it's when.
Speaker 5 (20:09):
You know.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
With Ron. Hell, here's the thing about Ron that I
truly respect and loved about him. He didn't even put
any And when I say this, this is actually the
best compliment of a person can call actor you know
what about to say, right, yeah, yeah, he he didn't
(20:33):
put He put in the work, but he made it
so much like it was just a regular day. He
was regular Joe. He like, especially with Mike. Mike was
just that guy, the guy you could deeply come up
and talk to. He was like he yeah, he had
(20:54):
the dramatics and we know he could act. I mean
think about who he worked at alongside, but that after
actor who he was such a guy. When you when
you hear that term like jocular, you could put Ron
as the photographic you know, definition of that. He was
(21:18):
such a guy and he was so.
Speaker 5 (21:21):
Just him. Let's go have a beer. Somebody's falling over hunt. Baby,
I'm baby, I'm no Michael Bolton.
Speaker 9 (21:29):
You know, he was just he was just like that
cool guy at the end of the bar that you
would have the most insane conversation with and then see
him again in.
Speaker 5 (21:39):
Three years and feel like you just spoke to him yesterday. Bingo.
That kind of guy, yeah, bingo.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
I mean he just and he could go toe to toe.
Was the best again many year Jackie Zemon, Jorge Damon,
host Ran, Steve Burton, he went up against Ireland Kristen.
(22:10):
He went up against Oh my god, oh god, I'm
blanking right now. But no, no, not Kate, but no,
oh god, I'm blanket. He played Alan Alice Bordon on
guy like Christopher for yeah, some years. He went told
(22:31):
to toe with double Ron's hold what I told you
what that he that Ron was a professor of just
he just it was it was human emotion, it was
human acting because it wasn't and I'm sorry to say this, Okay,
(22:53):
nobody get it twisted what I'm about to say, But
there's some actors who goes above and be on. It
makes it kind of not believable. But then there's some
actors who make it believable to the point where you're like,
are they really active? That's rong Haill, that's that's long hair.
(23:15):
Oh my god, you can dance.
Speaker 4 (23:19):
Nurton ball going, Oh my god. I keep thinking about
jump driving Whale because I kept seeing because I was
looking at it, and I said, oh my god, look
at run go ye.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
I mean seriously, like whoo, So I thought them Press
goes out to ron Hill keeping on the general hospital front.
I can't. That kind of actually shocked me. And I'm
gonna explain why, because there's a little personal connection between
between this person at age eighty nine, dude to cancer
(23:57):
few cancer film and TV star Nicholas Prior passed away. Now.
John Linstrom took to social media to announce this, and
Nicholas obviously you know he was in risky business. Okay,
he was in another world. He was in the famous
scene if you ever watched the movie Airplane, y'all know
(24:20):
the scene where the housewife when they asked for coffee
and the housewife was like, I'll take one, and the
guy next to he will say, I'll take another cup,
and I'll take another topic. She's like, that's funny. My
husband never asked for two cups of coffee. That's Nicholas.
Nicholas and and here's the same. Airplane is one of
my favorite movies. So I knew that line. But Nickle,
(24:45):
you guys know him as Victor Collins on General Hospital
and Port y'all. He passed away. I was gonna, I
was gonna get to that and just but yes he was.
He was the dean on nine O two one zero.
(25:06):
He's again. So here's the thing about Nicholas, mister Bryan,
He's from Baltimore. He's from Baltimore, Maryland, which is my hometown,
and he was in He was always the sweetest person.
(25:26):
Never met him though, but word of mouth. Right, here's
the connections, folks. My high school had a art poor
ram and they had a selective few people who funded
for the arts, you know, the scholarship and the programming
and the continuation of our little Department of Arts and
Humanity where guestually was one of the people that did it. Nicholas.
(25:52):
So I would like to take this opportunity to say
thank you because that was the department that I was in.
And yeah, it was just like age sketched in there.
I was like, yeah, okay, like looking at you you
know how you look at your yearbook and you never
noticed it, but then all of a sudden we found
out over the week. So it was kind of cool.
That's a little con match. But again, our stars and
(26:15):
prayers goes out to his family and friends, colleague, General
Hospital crew, the Poor Charles crew, and like, uh, they said,
his character will live on through Kevin Collins and you
know in General Hospital. I have something to say later
on about that. I'm gonna be nice right now, but
I got something to say later. But yeah, so you
(26:39):
know it is again it's one of those things where yeah,
we're you know, young and old, young and old of
our daytime stars are you know, are transitioning. And it's
one of those things where as a soap fan, you know,
we say this all the time, is to definitely give
(27:00):
the flowers now and instead of later. And there's a
couple of people, I mean, you take a look on
all these shows. You have so many people who we've
grown up with, you know, who were who were like
they're never going anywhere, never going anywhere, right, and then
(27:22):
it's like, you know, when it happens. It's like one
of those things where it's like, well, you know, now,
we're gonna wait till we do did did this instead
of now? And so again it was it was. It
was a hurtful couple of weeks, you know, emotional, but
there was some good news though. There was some good news.
(27:49):
I'm going to days of our lives, ye Sam, So
you know, literally, probably like a week later after you
know Drake's passing it and everything, Dazel has dropped the bombshell,
kind of a bombshell. I think some people knew, but
some people didn't. But next year, let me just say
(28:10):
this because there already tape this year, so around well,
actually the kickoff starts in a couple of weeks, to
be honest with you, because we're getting ready to say
goodbye to another person, which is gonna be Doug. But
we'll know that certain people are coming back, Christ and Alfonso,
Melissa Reeves, the Plethora plesor us. But then next year,
(28:32):
you guys know, Peter Ruffles coming back. But we also
found out now getting ready of'll you'all ready for this?
All right here we got we got Alix and Sweeney
coming back, we got Kale coming back, we got Lee
Ain't coming back. We got Christina Clark coming back. Am
I right on this? So far? Okay, we got Victoria
Knafo coming back. You see who else we got coming back?
(28:52):
And I'm like, we got Kathy Moss coming back this week.
He now we see who am I? I say? Yeah,
tomorrow we got and here's the saying, y'all come here,
come close, Come close, kids, gather around the Marlberry bush.
They are not done yet. You ain't hear that from me, though,
y'all ain't hear that from me. Y'all did not hear
(29:13):
that from me? Y'all heard that from Ashley and and
and Anthony and them. Y'all hear that from me? I'm mentioning, all, yeah, nothing.
Look but no, as you guys know, we're are. We
are in the mix of the sixtieth season of Days
of Our Lives and I said on the show that
they're going to need to bring back to that. Now
here's the sun. We do not know what the storyline is.
(29:37):
Alixe Sweeney said before that this is something that has
never happened to Sammy before, so hmmmmmm, but we don't
know what brings everybody bad this is.
Speaker 4 (29:56):
Right, so everybody the same reason.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
I don't know. I'm thinking I'm gonna be honest. It
reminds me of what year was it, twenty and twelve
y'all when Dedra and all of them came back. Yeah,
it was sort of like the reset of days of
our lives. So maybe that's it as well. But stay ten.
But that was some good news that was needed. It
(30:24):
was it was needed. But I think again, you know,
you have you know, and you're gonna have Matthew, and
you're gonna have Jack and Jennifer, you're gonna have Tony
and and you're gonna have but it's still gonna feel
weird not having John Black there. So and for those
(30:45):
who want and here's it, and I'm gonnasten. I'm just
gonna do it right now. Here's the thing. We do
not know if they did something, if they you know,
perhaps something already prepared or whatnot for John, So we
again we don't know, we don't know. And when we
(31:05):
get today, I have a story about that too. So
back to your newsroom.
Speaker 5 (31:15):
Wow, all right, so actually, since this is you know,
your first official.
Speaker 1 (31:22):
Oh wait, man, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, Ashley. There was
some other news too, and this was the oh please
can I do this one too?
Speaker 4 (31:28):
This is gold when Okay.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
I'm sorry, I'm sorry, sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Sorry, sorry, sir.
And some of you guys may or may not know. Uh,
there's a particular shows that have always had divorced papers
with and and we've actually we've talked to each other
about it, and they said that they want to do
something to make me happy. Well the happy, Yes, they did,
because on Friday, at exactly three forty two pm Eastern
(31:53):
Santary time, Deadline announced that the lifetime I'm Achievement Award
and husband of Emmy nominee and also a lifetime recipient,
Melanie Thomas Scott. By the way, happy anniversary, guys. Mister
Edward Scott is back at the Young and of Rustles
(32:14):
as a singer producer. He will be overseeing certain things.
But Canny really happy because this thing's a little life
history is about to repeat itself. Back to you actually
in the newsroom, what show do you want to.
Speaker 5 (32:38):
Sell it tonight?
Speaker 2 (32:41):
Let's start with full and beautiful, all right.
Speaker 5 (32:44):
Give us the last two weeks, give us the last
two weeks, and what you're loving right now.
Speaker 2 (32:54):
So last two weeks, uh, Hope and Carter definitely seem
like they're starting, something starting to blossom between the two
of them. I kind of feel like it was kind
of like out of nowhere, but I'm kind of interested
(33:14):
to see where it goes. Could be interesting. But then
all of a sudden, Liam decides that he wants to
try to rekindle his relationship with Hope, and that too,
I feel like it's kind of.
Speaker 4 (33:28):
Out of out.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
Of nowhere, and like, let's feel like, what the heck?
Speaker 8 (33:32):
Liam?
Speaker 1 (33:33):
You know?
Speaker 2 (33:34):
But there's that, And then we learned that Taylor has
broken heart syndrome and Ridge is the only one who knows.
But then we also knows, but Taylor told we not
to tell anyone. So Ridge is trying to help her
through all this.
Speaker 7 (33:55):
And then he got a meditation.
Speaker 2 (34:05):
Like a meditation coach. I'm not sure if that's see
correct her, but she's like her her like mindfulness and
her chakras all in line to kind of help heal
her heart, and like that seems to be working. But
then you know brook Camp comes in today and sees
(34:27):
them together, so that won't end well because you know,
Brooke is never does insecure about everything, so that probably
you know something will happen will happen there, but you know,
Taylor's not dying, so that's good because she was she
thought she was gonna die, but she's she's not dying,
so so there's that. I think it'll be interesting to
(34:50):
see what happens between those three because again, you're gonna
have the same push and pools that we've been having
just with that triangle since like forever in a day, Hey,
for every day, I think like that whenever I can,
and then I'm trying to think what else has been
(35:12):
going on. I feel like ever since everything happened, like
with Oh, Katie and Bill are are kind of working
their way back together. I could see them getting back
together since Poppy is like totally out of the picture now,
and that was probably one of the fastest breakups I've
(35:34):
ever seen on soaps ever with Bill and Poppy, so
I feel like she's totally out of the picture now,
so it's definitely open for Bill and and Katie to
get back together. And then Will taking Yeah, Will is
taking a job for Star, which I thought was hilarious.
(35:55):
Was it last Friday or so sometime last week we're
like Liam and Will were at El Giardino having lunch
in like and these like models were there, and Liam
was like trying to like put in a good word
with these girls about Will, and he started showing the
girls pictures of Beth and Kelly. Like I thought it
(36:16):
was hilarious him trying to be Will's wingman, but it's
just not working out for Will. So I honestly think
with Will working at Forrest now, when elektra Forrester's introduced,
I could totally see them being paired together. And then
(36:37):
Ivy's also coming back, so like I've been interested with
what's going to happen there with Ivy and Liam because
I feel like the last time Ashley Brewer was on
as Ivy, we had like one day, maybe a day
and a half of Liam and Ivy, and we didn't
get anything else. So I'm happy that she's coming back,
So I'm anxious to see if we get to see
(36:59):
more of Ivy and Liam once she returns here. Shortly,
I think of there was anything else, I don't think
I think I pretty much covered everything. Let's bread you
can think of something that I didn't know, Well.
Speaker 5 (37:17):
I'm gonna David what are you loving or hating or
one of each?
Speaker 1 (37:22):
Right now?
Speaker 4 (37:23):
On Bold, Well, I have to say that I may
be in the minority here with the Carter and the
Whope thing, because I know I'm sort of intrigued with
it because it gets Stephie out of her hair and
(37:47):
and you know, I'm not really a fan of the
characters Steffie even now, but she's in her thirties and
she's still on her mommy and daddy back, and she's
got to get over it, and Hope is trying to
tell her. I'm just hoping that Stephie leaves Hope alone.
(38:11):
I want to see her happy and thriving, and then
a good story that doesn't really need to involve Stephie.
Speaker 5 (38:20):
All Right, I'm gonna jump in, Oh, go ahead, and.
Speaker 4 (38:25):
I think, well, and I'm not And I'm not absolutely
certain that we've seen the last of Poppy.
Speaker 5 (38:35):
I don't think we've seen the last of I don't
think we've seen the last of Poppy either. All Right,
I'm gonna jump in here before we throw at the canvas.
I got something to say. Now they're setting up a
new triangle. I can almost feel it. A Hope Carter,
Liam triangle. Also, here's the deal both. I will so
(38:57):
go down the ride with you with with whole and Carter,
because I think it would actually be there for so
many reasons. I think it would be a great storyline.
It would. There is definitely chemistry. Deaf hoop well Anika anyway,
this chemistry and anything with anyone with Anica but hoopy
hoopy woopy do. Here's the thing. We know you're gonna
break Carta's hot again at some point, and when you do,
(39:20):
please let him flip out. I mean completely flip out
and become a serial stranglea some creepy salt or something,
you know, because we cannot keep recycling the same old
trajectory for Karta. I got a couple of the things
to say about I don't think it is the end
(39:42):
of that. We're gonna We're never gonna see Poppy again.
I absolutely do. Okay, I said it a couple of
weeks ago. I am still on the train. She is
not tell for me yet. I love her and I
love the chemistry between her and Pus. Then we always
knew that gonna be explosive, but she's just not sail
(40:02):
for me yet. All Right, Candae Okay, is she tall
for you? You gotta talk with that? Is she taller
for you?
Speaker 1 (40:12):
No? No, And I'm gonna be. I'm gonna be. I'm
gonna be completely one hundred now. Today on Vold and
Beaute four, it did feel like og Tridge moment, especially
Brooke looking in, because I did have that flashback of
like once upon a time a couple of years, like
many minutes ago, when hunter Tylo's version and Ridge Broma's
(40:32):
versions was doing something and Brooke was looking in. My
problem is is that, okayriage, I still I'm gonna be honest.
I am hoping this is not gonna be a wait
for them to get back together. I don't need Stephie
to parent trap anymore. But I actually did enjoy the
(40:56):
Kumbaya lady saying all the trauma because even though like
everybody is making fun of us his his, this is
actually real. This is actually a real syndrome, and it
can actually lead to something actually more serious. The thing
is is that I'm thinking like the person is real,
Like obviously the person is real and sober Taylor has
(41:17):
been through a lot of trauma from her personal to
a professional to everything. Because woman got shot she was dead.
She came back all that jazz right, and so she
shot someone she you know, comes out, she lost Seebee,
which we've been talking about a lot lately. Like to me,
(41:41):
unlike somebody else across the hall, Taylor's really she's never
really fully dealt with a lot. She powdered it on,
powdered it on and powered it on. And so when
they were talking about that, I was like, yeah, let
that trauma out elect screen. If you got to beat
somebody up, do it. However, Bridge, you know what, Ridge,
(42:03):
this is why me and you don't get along, because
I'm what a need for you. I understand she will
always be a connected to your life. I get that
because that is the mother of your child. However, you
touching and holding and everything, that's also giving up some
(42:23):
mixed signals. And this is why Taylor also got broken
heart syndrome, because you'd be leaving her on a little bit.
Brook seen Brooke, I'm seen Brooke. And this by the way,
because to me, okay, first of all, most Ridge has
made his decisions. Stephie, we'll talk to you in a minute.
But Brooke is still a little insecut because again, history
(42:46):
shows that a girl, I'm sorry, No, she got other
people in her life.
Speaker 5 (42:53):
He is not I know how saying.
Speaker 1 (42:57):
But what I'm saying is that's why. That's why I
said he they will always be connected because you know,
I'm going to connect this to somebody else in a
few minutes. Is that. Yeah. Ridge and Taylor have history,
they have children, They've been through traumatic experiences together. The
thing is, though, Taylor, and I need for you to
know this. I love you and everything else like that,
(43:20):
but you cannot. I don't want you to have high
expectations and the fact of this could bring you a
Ridge back together. Ridge, I'm going to need for you
to quote quote look at what you're doing because I
know you don't think you all but but you guys
think like Taylor a little bit. Are you giving mixed signals?
(43:43):
The same thing with Brooke. You've got to understand where
Brooke may be coming from. Brooks. I get you, I
get you, but at the same time, I'm going to
need for you to go. I'm just gonna need for
y'all just to just chill. But again, like you said, yeah,
(44:06):
there's other people that Taylor can rely on. She needs
to not lie to her baby girls. To Stuffie, Jeffie,
I need for you not to twist this upside down
inside out. However, I'm going to do the thing that
some people aren't doing because I want to connect this
to the whole thing too. Rolneville, for I said to
you last night and a soap party, there is a
(44:26):
factor missing, and in this particular situation, because it's his mother,
I need Thomas back yep. And look whatever is going
on between y'all and Matthew, and again we don't know
if it's contract negotiations and whatnot. Here's when you should
have done that General Hospital that should have also done.
(44:49):
The role of Thomas Forrester is temporary being played by
Dungy Luca until further notice, because I feel it. So
there's installment because y'all don't have now. With that being said,
though Thorston k crapt me up, it's it's it's you
can tell that this is Thorson's choice of Whating's wine.
(45:13):
Because because I can't picture Ridge Forwstter wearing just flax
like you know, just like a regular T shirt and
some yoga pants. I can't see Ridgewarst are doing that.
I can see thoughts and k doing that though, So yeah,
so when I'm seeing those scenes, I don't see like
I said today, O G like I thought that. But
(45:35):
other than that, And it's probably because we want these
two on all my children to say they have the
sibling connection. They don't have the romantic, they don't have
the sexual, they have a friendship sibling connection.
Speaker 5 (45:50):
And see, I'm gonna disagree with you on that. They
have the Andrea Brendan connection right except simmering under it
Gary that that life. Oh what would it be like
if there is between them?
Speaker 1 (46:05):
There is? I don't see it. I mean I see
you know what I see Kelly, and I see Kelly.
Speaker 3 (46:15):
And see.
Speaker 1 (46:21):
You want to go if you want to do it,
let's go there shout up to now on t y
oh by the way, But that's what I say, like
I see the possibility. But I think again this this
is what we always say when you have actors that
have been on other shows, you know, and may not
have been a parent, but they were connected and brings
(46:44):
the same kind of vibe over because let's be honest,
and this is no exact to Becky, I love you
back your girlfriend, You've been my girlfriend. John Hight okay,
but you should have been Felicia. You should have been Christian,
you should have been Look if you really, if we
both of you wanted to go there, sake Angela, you
could have had her be anybody. But with Taylor, when
(47:05):
I'm seeing her enforcement and I have to and I
do it all the time. I do see Jack, and
I do see greatly, I do see like and I
have to check that out of my head and saying,
wait a minute, does this Taylor? This is Taylor freaking hate.
She's the you know, former wife a Ridge. You know
she was sweeping around. She kind of was with Eric Forrester,
(47:27):
her Brooks her you know, she got kills, she's a grandmother,
She's But I'm just like trying to get that image
in my head. But again, when I was watching it,
I was like, uh huh, yeah, not feeling it. And
(47:48):
I understand, Look, hey, it's a look. We all can
feel a certain text. What did that lady say? She said,
you may feel with your feelings of your heart and
in your mind and in the singer tips, but let
it go.
Speaker 5 (48:07):
Now, come on, Candice, we have all watched this show
for a long time.
Speaker 1 (48:11):
We know what's next.
Speaker 2 (48:13):
You do that.
Speaker 9 (48:16):
Let them know, because you know, you know the who is.
Speaker 1 (48:21):
Who's haunting your heart, whose ghostly shadow is still there?
Speaker 5 (48:27):
Release the name girl.
Speaker 8 (48:29):
Come on now we know it was something like.
Speaker 1 (48:31):
That, but this is but this is what I'm saying
for me. For me, I'm gonna have an issue because
to me, if you're gonna make that right, if you're
gonna going to Taylor back for this that I'm sorry, folks,
I'm gonna say need.
Speaker 5 (48:47):
He needed to be, Hey, he needed to be.
Speaker 1 (48:51):
No, this is the last you here's my words, my words.
This needs to be the last. And when I say
the last, once they have their whatever. I'm sorry to
say this Taylor, she's done done. Let that being her
(49:16):
dying wish they get back because to me, you can't.
You can't. I can't. For me, you I cannot go
down this road again unless you're going to do the
same bowl that we think. We all said this. If
you okay, okay, okay, you know what, go there with
(49:37):
tailor and Ridge. Go there with Tailoring Ridge, do it,
finalize and do it, because you know what, If you're
going to do that, then give me my super couple
that I've been dying for for almost not dying literally,
but for over almost thirty years, I've been pushing this.
Give me my brooken eric As end games.
Speaker 5 (49:58):
Thank you, thank you, thank you you. I agree with
you there one hundred percent. All right, we gotta throw
it to to But before we throw it to Ash,
just give me your your your your hope, Carter.
Speaker 1 (50:11):
Candy. Oh okay again, this is another thing that we're
gonna need, Thomas, because I feel as though they've been
trying to figure out what to do on one side of
how to keep hope, I mean the brother side. Okay, relevant, yeah,
but Ben saying, look, we all know that that wasn't
(50:33):
gonna happen. So if you thought that was gonna happen,
I know you want your money back. I'm fine with Carter,
even though I wanted Stuffian Carter been supporting that for
ten years. Shout out to my starter fans.
Speaker 5 (50:48):
I've always I've always thought Staffian Carter will be high.
Speaker 1 (50:50):
But this is actually my second pick. But I don't
I don't want it to be a repeat. I don't
mean Stephen Button in this. Say out Scot, I love
I love you stuff, but put out two. I'm going
to need Carter to turn if he is because I
(51:14):
found it really interesting when Liam was first and foremost
first finding Let me just do this first and foremost
lim Honey. You know what I'm gonna say this. I
give you a random clause because for the first part
of the year you said you were gonna do the
one thing was focus on yourself and focused being a father.
(51:36):
You will always be connected to Hope and Stephie because
of the children, but at some point you have to
learn to like, what did that lady say, Let go,
let go and be.
Speaker 5 (51:48):
Free, find your angelus, dad, somebody else.
Speaker 1 (51:55):
But I'm gonna say this, Yes, they were starting something
when I there was behind the scenes stuff that you know,
you know, put put a pause on that. But to me,
it's like, all right, y'all really saying that Liam was
really going to like not try to figure out how
to get back into quote unquote Jesse in Hope world
(52:18):
in the sense of he's not used to this, y'all.
I should remember, for almost a decade plus, if Liam
could not have Seffie, he always had Hope. If he
couldn't have Hope, he always had STEFFI right. If he
couldn't have neither one, he had Ivy so to me,
(52:40):
he couldn't handle being the odd man out. And this
is where I say about Rich. Rich finally got himself together,
but he still gives Nick signals a little bit. When
Liam the fact that he went firstly almost again, nobody
knows about those consitions. I'm sorry, I'm still singing on.
(53:01):
He went because again he saw Hope. So what did
he do? He went to SUFFI he feels though Stuffie
is like that, Liam is her kryptonite. And so when
Steffie said I'm married, I'm with somebody, We're still cool.
You can see Liam's mind was turning. You saw it all.
(53:23):
When he went over to Hope, He's like this. He
was like, wait, manute, I've got no Tomas enough with
I don't got nobody standing in my way. Now, Oh,
this is gonna be good. And he was saying all
the things that he should have said when he was
with Hope. Hey, yes, fulks, I know Hope is not innocent.
(53:44):
I know Suffie's not innocent. Heck, I know Liam's not innocent.
You got three people who were never innocent in the
first place, But in this situation, Liam was doing what
I'm sorry, so sorry to to our our to our
males that are listening. But so y'all do it. Y'all
was trying to come up with a perfect way to
(54:05):
get back into her heart because you were saying all
the right things and you're like trying to make it
all nice and sweet. It's a seer, but you know
there was something back underneath that. And when Hope has said,
you know, I really wish that you know you said
this back then, like I'm glad that you said it now,
but I moved on, and I'm like the thank you
(54:30):
And the thing is because I think we gotta remember
Hope's the one who asks for is divorced first, not Liam.
And Limb is like saying, you know, I miss our family,
Like I get't that you missed the family. I understand that, Limb,
I really do. But I'm pretty sure y'all have playdates.
Y'all go to the to the same parties. You still
(54:53):
have your family. You just missed being in somebody did
at night.
Speaker 5 (55:00):
But you live in Los Angeles.
Speaker 1 (55:02):
You can get yourself somebody else right quick. He has
I But but this is what's interesting, because we do
got Ivy coming back. But you notice that when Ivy
and Liam kissed. Steffy was all jealous a little bit,
when again, I'm like, y'all for real, like Liam knows.
That's why I mean, Seffy, Steffie girl, you have a
(55:26):
nice young man, even though you got some cheecrets too, and.
Speaker 5 (55:31):
You got like, hold on, you got a family, you
got a pretty good job, and you gotta get your
nosy ass nose back in your own business. Can't keep
it there for quite some time. That's basically what it
boils down, to get your nosy ass back in your
own business and keep it down. All right, Let's see,
(55:52):
let's say, let's see, let's see, David, we gotta move on.
You want to go with days?
Speaker 4 (56:00):
Yeah, we can do days. What's what's okay? So recently
Miss Sarah lied to the police and said that Brady
yep again, and that that Brady was driving, but only
(56:26):
to make sure that Xander wouldn't come after him. So
and all of that, and in the meantime, Eric is
playing uh private detective and going around and he's putting
the pieces together about how this happened. And thank you
Eric for and thank you Greg for stepping in for Drake,
(56:50):
because this would have been a Drake moment.
Speaker 5 (56:55):
Yep.
Speaker 4 (56:59):
So he's putting the pieces together, and Fiona is gritting
her teeth, hoping Sarah doesn't remember, and lo and behold
today she remembered. Well, actually it was Friday, but it
all came out today. And Fiona is about to take
(57:25):
Sarah and push her out of that wheelchair down the staircase.
I believe that it is a staircase in my right, Candice, Yes, yes,
and other news. Well, hey, nobody in well Body and
soul is anyone happy with body and soul? Whereas it?
(57:49):
Have you?
Speaker 1 (57:50):
I have something to say about that when you get
to I'm gonna let Askley and athlet me go first,
because I have I have two thoughts about body and
soul now I.
Speaker 4 (57:59):
Go back and forth with it. So but yeah, that's
basically what's gotten my I. I met. I love Fiona.
The character has been like a nice breath of fresh hairs.
(58:19):
I come in. I loved her. I wish he stayed
because I know that she's gone because it was spilled
on an interview uh with Michael Fairman. M But I
wish she would was staying on because she's needed there.
(58:43):
I think she's needed there in the meantime, Miss Fake
Abby has remembered the feelings she had for being in
love with Chad, and Chad has taken her back to
(59:05):
the Chabby in Paris days looks like the same It
does look like the same type of set. And they
run and she runs into Holly who is there visiting Nicole,
and h Chad asked Holly to stay with them and
(59:30):
be Fake Abby's maid of honor. Now I do have
a question for all you in Candice. You might remember
this because I posted this before, but due you all
think that Constantine's daughter is the greens mother.
Speaker 2 (59:54):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I think so.
Speaker 4 (59:58):
Yeah, because because how would you explain John being found
in the same place. See, that's what that's what's given
me that vibe.
Speaker 5 (01:00:08):
Mhm mm hmm.
Speaker 4 (01:00:12):
How we got there, I don't know, and if if
Clyde took him.
Speaker 1 (01:00:20):
And that's my problem right there. You just now say
now I'm gonna I'm gonna say.
Speaker 5 (01:00:24):
This, yep, kandas can I just say one sentence before you,
because I don't really have much to say to days
tonight except if this is basically, we're gonna spiral all
the way out of control so that we blow the
entire thing up and all these comebacks are gonna be
the usher in of the new days. Oh my god,
(01:00:48):
you gotta sick and fix a whole bunch of messes.
I'm done, Kansas Guide.
Speaker 1 (01:00:52):
Okay, Hi everybody, what's that? Okay? So my whole thing
is I do think that that is Constantine Daughters. Actually, Okay,
So actually what I think it is is that fake
Abby and Mark's mom is Constantine's daughter.
Speaker 5 (01:01:13):
One. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:01:15):
Two. My thing is, I'm gonna be honest. I think
this is gonna be one of the stories that they
retooled because of what, you know, what happened in real life,
obviously for Drake, but they can still chide this all together.
My biggest problem is, shoot, I'll do it so actually,
you know, I'm always the nice one, but I have
(01:01:36):
to kind of be the main person tonight. I'm I apologized.
My problem is is that, Hey, Daves, there's a couple
of things. One, y'all didn't tell the story correctly. I'm
sorry y'all didn't do y'all was y'all supposed to have done?
This should have been at least a half a year's storyline.
And yes, so I don't know what you're gonna say,
(01:01:57):
but Kenny, the Steles have cume. We don't have count
for this, We don't pay for these storylines. To Jesus,
let me, let me, let me tell y'all something that
once upon a time, once upon a time, we have
story arcs that lasted a year, two years half what
some of them continue for almost twenty years Philips Paternity
(01:02:21):
Carly Jason. We're dealing there with that story arc, okay,
But to me, it's like you, you, you, you came
out too hard and too fast with this. Okay. So
my question is, Chad, Chadwick, you are so stupid and
(01:02:45):
I love you, but you're so stupid because you're believing
that this woman is your dearly beloved without getting a
now listening to all say to y'all, back up to
a backup back of DNA tests. What don't we all
know by now you can't trust a DNA test and
(01:03:07):
sell them. You got to do more than once, and
you gotta send it to a private to a private hospital.
Speaker 5 (01:03:14):
Okay. To get the DNA, you've got to stay on
guards and make them say every every step of the
process exactly.
Speaker 1 (01:03:21):
Not only that, Chad, you yeah, you got kids. And
not only that, but again, a mother would know their child.
So when Jennifer was overreacting, love you, Katey McClain. Again,
a parent knows their child. People know Abby, you know
(01:03:43):
abbunisities as I like to call it. But Chad, youre
so gun hole and this is why I feel sorry
for you, because you really, you really are are cleaning
onto that that. Oh my god, the love of my
life is that we're gonna make it right out without
having any toot unquote series. You saw it yourself. However,
(01:04:07):
ladies and gentlemen, I would like to bring to your
attention to one smart person in Salem who's actually doing
the work, doing the job and everything, and that's mister
Steve pat Johnson and Kayla. They're doing everything and if
you saw today too, like they're doing like the whole
DNA they're going to buy based off of this. This
(01:04:28):
is this, and I'm like, this is what I really
is enjoying so much. Okay, now let me get to
mister Clyde Daves. Girls, stop making him trying to be
this big baddie that he's not. It's not working. It's
(01:04:49):
not looking good for y'all. Okay, let's go back. So
Clyde Weston the father of them, and Jordan's right, and
y'all could have had another kid. Y'all dropped that one too.
What y'all know? Who was that the child? Was? I know?
Speaker 5 (01:05:08):
And then you put him with Nancy?
Speaker 1 (01:05:11):
No not, Oh oh god, I'm gonna I'm gonna let
it go. Let it go, Let it go, Let it go.
But do you mean to tell me that this is
the man who killed Abby when he was supposed to
go after Bell. You mean to tell me this is
the one who pulled the wool over their eyes with
the fake cop. You mean to tell me this is
(01:05:34):
the one who busts out of jail. You mean to
tell me he's doing all of this for what the money? No? No, no, no, no,
just be honest. Y'all can't get George aka Orpheus to
come back to the show, so y'all decided, y'all gonna
make Clyde into the new Orpheus. Yep, this is all
supposed to be auvious. I'm not choosing, I'm gonna say,
(01:05:56):
and if it's not, I'm sticking in my bubble because
there's no way to I just pulling all these strings. Okay,
so what does he have over on or the dome?
So something with the Demeris. Now we went from from
Victor Caryakis to now probably do Demeris did something to
Constantine's mom or something within Kahou. That's the part that's
(01:06:19):
gonna be a little fishy. But my whole thing is
that sake Abby. Look, we all know how this is
gonna go. She was gonna catch feelings, She's gonna catch
real feelings. I mean, she probably already is. But the
thing is says, I'm sorry, Ronald. You know how me
and you talk. Okay, you this this was supposed to
(01:06:41):
be total for the banding story, like you was gonna
solve everything because we all kept saying for two years
Abby was somewhere stuck on an island and we're gonna
find her, that she had amnesia and all that. Even
with this storyline, the little possibility that you had with
that storyline is gone. I'm kind of over it. And
(01:07:04):
it was nice to see the chappy in parasite again. Hey,
but I'm.
Speaker 10 (01:07:09):
Just like, whoo sow, Yeah, Ashley.
Speaker 2 (01:07:23):
I'm not feeling the whole body and whole thing. I'm
just gonna say it it's just really like that's really
it just seems really campy and just very like tongue
in cheek and just I just think it's dumb.
Speaker 5 (01:07:39):
It's just I want it to be over.
Speaker 1 (01:07:41):
Like.
Speaker 2 (01:07:41):
I don't find any of it entertaining, and it.
Speaker 5 (01:07:45):
Just it's not entertaining. It's not sexy, it's not it's
not even like it was might be tolerable. It's just stupid.
Speaker 1 (01:07:55):
Don't you think they're making I mean, okay, here's I mean. Okay,
y'all know that first I loved buy and Soul. I
even came up with the theme song, right, okay, But
then they took it too far. They did, They really did. However,
I now can say this, and I don't know if
anybody else feels this way. I said they did. Half
(01:08:18):
of this is because they wanted to keep dedra busy
because Drake was going through and so you know, they
kept that go. I do think it is crazy that
everybody in Salem wants to be an actor. But I
also was like the last week, Ron and them, y'all
(01:08:42):
are still shady, and I don't know, it's not even funny.
Why y'all shade and stuff that we know about taking points.
What was it? The doctor was two hands on And
when that happened, I was like shaking my head because
there was one situation that I was singing about, y'all
(01:09:05):
know what I was singing about. When they had somebody
that was on set that was hands on with the
actors who loved love things. Yep mm hm, we're not.
I'm not saying his name. Unemportment guy too one set relationships,
except is that what's going on in the soap? Like
(01:09:27):
you've you've heard certain people looking out in real life,
Oh don't they're not. I think the last couple of
weeks like this to me, I feel it's though Vaughn
as them. Let me just say that are now using
it to kind of mock the industry a little bit.
Speaker 9 (01:09:46):
And yeah, I mean absolutely, but it's not.
Speaker 1 (01:09:52):
It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not one like
to live.
Speaker 5 (01:09:56):
It's not. It's just got Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:09:59):
But and I, like I said, I feel it so
because of what was going on behind the scenes with
a lot of things. This was something to quote unquote,
it was it was a it was a little yeah,
well not even a perspective, but it's like a filter
like something just to fill in until they fill what yeah,
(01:10:20):
what what the next step to do? And at the
same time, you know, I said this daze all fans,
Diazel audience, I should saying it's not one like the list.
For those who watched one like The Lab and watch Days,
y'all know that they were trying to do Fraternity Row.
The problem is that with Fraternity Row it wasn't heavy
(01:10:41):
like it is with Body and Soul. There was a
nice when Body and Soul first started. It was nice
that they were paying almis to those who've done other shows,
like you know, I still can't get over the fact
that Stephen Nicholas was playing somebody named Tunckle McCall who
was playing another characters. Y'all again, Young and Russell fans
through y'all, okay, you know James Reynolds was talking about
(01:11:01):
Marshall generations. It started out as a did slow beat,
but Dennis started taking over the show and again I
feel it though to you know, two things can be
true that they were doing the filter just as a
filter because of all the changes that were going on
(01:11:22):
behind the scenes, So that's just me. But other than that, yeah,
it is kind of gone too long because I'm like, oh, baby,
y'all everybody wants to be every Actually, you're gonna try somebody,
and so I think I should. Yeah, and the elevator shaft, y'all,
y'all know what I'm gonna say this real quick. That
(01:11:44):
was another thing for those who don't get what was
happening when when they told Hattie that, she said, I
don't want to do it. Y'all know, they were mocking
of actors who refused to do certain things on storylines.
But also I said, they.
Speaker 4 (01:11:57):
Matthews because that's how Jack fell down.
Speaker 1 (01:12:02):
Well Nick, well, I didn't look at it that way,
but I looked at it as like when you tell
an actor to do something and they refused to not
do it. But I also looked at it as also
because before I saw that, I thought they were making
fun of l A Law. You know, the same went
down went down the elevator sat.
Speaker 4 (01:12:21):
I remember that.
Speaker 1 (01:12:22):
Yeah. So, but Dave's just totally getting back to some
drama because now we got Eric, you know, now realizing
he I mean, Brady now realizing he didn't do it
for so I'm looking forward to that, oh so real
(01:12:43):
quick before we go to the next show, I really
want everybody to opinion about this, and I'm sorry for
taking over the list. How did everybody feel about the
off screen off screen repontile between Holly and Nicole? Actually,
and we'll go with you. I feel like it.
Speaker 2 (01:13:08):
Feels weird Polly being emparissed and Nicole not being and
her not sharing any scenes with with Nicole. Like I
just it's something's missing with all that. Paul is definitely
angry about a lot of a lot of things, and
(01:13:29):
you know, rightfully so. But at the same time, I
kind of get Nicole where she was coming from with
not telling her about what happened with Daniel, and Eric
was the one who was who was driving the car
that you know, killed killed Daniel in everything, and now
she's supposed to be in parised to like try to
work things out with her mom, but yet we're not seeing.
Speaker 5 (01:13:51):
Nicole.
Speaker 2 (01:13:52):
So I kind of feel like, I don't know, like
it could just kind of like fall fall flat. I
almost like, if if Hally went funny kind of closure
with anything, maybe it needs to be clicked with Eric
because it's not going to come from Nicole.
Speaker 5 (01:14:11):
Okay, So I'm just gonna say, you know, this is
like Brenda went to Paris. You know, this was a
holly moment to just have you know, angst and and
drama and stuff. It makes it doesn't it doesn't hit
the market. You need no Cole, you just Neednicole. This
(01:14:31):
this I kudos. I don't know her name, but kudos
actress at us. But it was just it was just
to give angst. Candice, whenever you're ready to take us
to generous city and tell us about the state of
your relationship.
Speaker 1 (01:14:51):
Okay, so real quick, let me just say this. I
agree with you guys. Are Nicole should have been on the screen,
but Dave y'all should have did this? Well, are you
left the show?
Speaker 5 (01:15:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:15:03):
Okay, so now let me tell y'all about my relationship
with the young and rush was as where it stands
at right now. Disclaimer, I don't know what's gonna come
out of my mouth because I can't control it.
Speaker 5 (01:15:18):
Okay, no doubt, Go ahead, girl, because I got some
stuff to say too.
Speaker 1 (01:15:24):
I want to start with real quick, I would like
to start you know what I'm gonna I'm just gonna
do it. I'm gonna talk with the business stuff because
I feel as though I'm more tamed with this storyline. Okay,
so we got some movement. We got some movement. So
Lily now knows everything because Nicky wasn't going to keep
duping her Victor de Vaughn, and that was why you
(01:15:50):
told you so pretty much. Lily is like, okay, so
of course she's talking to Jill if you're alf you know. Meanwhile,
you know Phyllis is working with Stilly at Abbot. Chancellor
dumbing Ardre got fired Kyle. Uh. It feels as though
(01:16:12):
he got too much power in his fingertips to the
point that Diane and Jack they found out. And also
Jack and Diane stayed to fight. We don't know if
that was real or not, but apparently it was. It was.
It got aroused out of Michael and Victor at the
same time. Though. Yeah, so yeah, so Jack kind of
(01:16:35):
told Kyle off about him. Since then, you should be
a post to Sambly. We need to be him stronger
year and all that stuff that should have flapped him.
But that's just me. But yeah, so we got some
movement with this whole business storyline. I feel inside no
Nate to see the call from Amylus. Yes, yes, yes, yes,
(01:16:56):
and it's intrigued too about this whole thing, because he's
like saying, Toko, I don't like it with people who're
taking assists of other people at their with this moment.
And I'm like, Chris, I'm just somewhere and you both
did the same thing. Give me call me, call me
Neil Carter, and give me a break. Yes, okay, So
(01:17:19):
I'm gonna go through the table. Astley your first, how
are you feeling about the business stuff from the young
and Restless.
Speaker 2 (01:17:30):
I'm not feeling the business stuff, honestly, Like I kind
of like zone out. I don't know, there's just I'm
just not feeling it. I don't know what else to
say about it. Like I'm I feel like I'm more
invested in everything that's happening with the Sharon right now.
(01:17:51):
And yeah, I feel like I feel like, yeah, Lily
was just I don't know she she used to be
so like strong and like and now I just I'm
not feeling it. I'm like, where's my girl, Lily? Like
she's just she's she's lost the spark, like where is
(01:18:14):
where is Drew? And and and you know Neil Neil's daughter,
like she needs to start fighting back and start taking
names and doing something here, and like we need some
action from her because yeah, Jill has got to like
talk some sentence of her or something. Because yeah, so
(01:18:37):
I don't know, I'm just I'm just really not feeling
like all this all this business stuff right now. And
Lily needs to get more of a backbone and she
needs to start taking names and like telling people how
it needs to go. So that's how I feel about really.
So yeah, and then the whole thing.
Speaker 1 (01:18:59):
Was I didn't get this there yet. Okay, yeah, hold hold, yeah,
it's just a dinner stuff Cole jabo. All that's the
right now, David.
Speaker 4 (01:19:13):
You go, I'm sort of rooting for rooting for Lily.
I think that's the only part of the business part
that I'm actually enjoying. I want to see I'm I'm
hoping with Jill coming back. That's part of Lily's part,
(01:19:34):
one of her fighting back, because I do want to
see it. I do want to see her fighting back,
and I'd like to see her win it. But yeah,
that's the only part of that business stories and I'm
really into.
Speaker 5 (01:19:55):
And a couple of months ago, a couple of months ago,
they had a really good I guess portion of the
art with this storyline. They just took it so many
damn places. As far as Lily, I think if Joe
comes back and reminds Lily of who Lily should be,
(01:20:18):
that would be agreed at least, you know, salvage to
walk away, but you know, just end the storyline in
a salvage of the way. Other than that. Ugh, now,
Candace girl, Sharon, take it away, have a you know,
you know all of it. Take it away?
Speaker 1 (01:20:41):
Okay, I really apologize what I'm about to say on
this show. How the hell have you messed up this storyline?
I could have used the other word, but I chose
because we have children probably listening to this, I choose
not to say that word. But it begins with the act.
So what's the fudge? What's the fudge? Okay? So Sharon,
(01:21:06):
as y'all know, has been losing her ever loving mind
because of her medication that she is not taking by
the one. She pretty much is acting off the rocker
of the muckets of the of the fungus. She, as
y'all know, she tossed aside like a toss salic heather
(01:21:27):
into the river in a carpet. Apparently, Sharon and roll
up carpets go together, just science, okay. So she's all
in front of Daniel and Lucy, anything I can do
for you, Oh my god, it feels so bad for
you guys. And if there's anything I need for you,
just let me know. And then in front of everybody,
(01:21:48):
I'm fine, I'm really fine, and Nick Mariah tests everybody
in from from us to everybody in the White House.
No sufting is up with Sharon, but nobody's importing it. Okay. Meanwhile,
she's like, her and Cameron are still talking in his
bloody shirt by Todd, and Cameron is pretty much saying,
(01:22:12):
you're you're showing off. You know, people gonna know something's
up with you. And she was like, I'm fine, I'm
really wine and everything. So then Nick is like, okay,
I know that if I'm around her, she probably would
say something to me because we got this, we got
this connection. So Nick and Sharon went out on other date.
She got all fans, she got all count and then
(01:22:36):
her and Nick came back and they were kissing and
it looked like he was about to go down, you know,
they were about to do something. And Cameron was like,
you can stop daydreaming now, and sure enough, if Sharon
was daydreaming, this girl is blurring reality and fiction, right,
But that's not the that's not all, folks, Okay, so
(01:22:57):
we have to touch a chance on the case. That's right.
He's back as an attack deve, and he's and he's
going over and he's asking Daniel, who is distrack, like,
what was going on? Was the last thing? All that stuff?
But then he went over here, he went over to Sharon.
Now for those who do not remember as rightfully, so
(01:23:18):
I understand y'all forget that Sharon A chance was the thing? Right?
Speaker 5 (01:23:24):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (01:23:24):
Again, okay, okay for some some of okay, and so
you supposed to yeah, you s say you don't remember nothing, dude,
like me, I have amnesia. So he goes over there.
He ain't doing a good job because curently, he's just
like again, everybody is being fooled by Sharon a sange.
Speaker 2 (01:23:42):
Everything's funny.
Speaker 1 (01:23:43):
You should get the change. Meanwhile, Daniel gets a phone call.
He has to tell Paul what happened. Right then we
find out that Paul suffered a heart attack and it's
unable to attend his daughter, his last child. An I'm
(01:24:05):
gonna be the shadiest person right now and say it,
young and Rusts. You did had to do. You had
to do what you had to do. And let me
explain for those who don't know and the understand. Yes,
we know everybody wants the U Davids and to come
back to this role. However, if you follow him, he's
(01:24:28):
pretty much telling you what all happened behind the scenes
without saying well, he's saying too much anyways, but I'm
just gonna let go. In this situation, Paul Williams would
have only been on for two days. So what do
you do. Do you recast the role with a Scott
Holmes for two days or do you go ahead and
(01:24:50):
do a realistic situation. I choose what they did because
in reality, a parent doesn't never want to bury their
a child and apparent stress because keep in mind, Paul
is going through a lot, the divorce of cricket, him
not working, him in a new country, him not knowing
(01:25:12):
where Dylan is. He's in poor Charles brother way. He's
dealing with a lot and the fact that his daughter,
his only surviving child, is gone. That takes that takes
a toll in hell. So yeah, that's the same I
know it was. It was not the popular thing to do.
But guess what, John Rustless, you get my seal of
(01:25:33):
approval because you had to do what you had to do.
My question is where April's Hey girl, how you doing?
You want to come back and take tea radio? Tess? Okay, okay,
we're gonna talk to you later. Okay, all right, yeah
(01:25:56):
to me, and I understand where everybody it's like, Dad,
they got rid of the whole Wayam's family. I mean,
I mean that's not really I mean, you do got
some I'm still out there, you just don't feel them.
But I wasn't too trussed with that. What I am
(01:26:16):
trusted is the shurance thing. How the mess have you
taken this to being one of my least favorite storylines
on the show now and it's not even funny anymore.
Like at first, I was like, okay, you know, like,
like we all said, Sharon Case did the work and
this was a really interesting story because she never really
dealt with I mean, she dealt with Castay's death, but
(01:26:39):
she has to dealt with it and the fact that
Daniel is back as a reminder. But you took it
too far as to getting revenge on him, which then
went into really showing off and showing out in front
of other people with your eroticson. Then it was you
(01:27:02):
confronting Heather, and you're acting more erotic than ever. Then
you were having these wait young and Russell's jelby Josh,
this reminds me, and you were there, Josh, of when
she was spurling out of control and burning down the
ranch and all that stuff and right, and it reminds
(01:27:26):
me of when Jill Felth and Charles Krack did that
famous interview and said, and I quote, it's more fun
writing for Sharon when she's off of her bipolar medication
than when she's on them. This is my issue, young
and russells as of now, you do realize you have
(01:27:46):
five unopened this year this year alone. Take the business
stuff out. You do realize you had five. I also said,
I think it was six. Actually mental health storylines. This
was your cattle. This was the thing that was pulling it.
But you took it too far because again the girls
(01:28:07):
and my ticket. It started out with her feeling that
somebody was having like the medication percentage was was the
dosage was wrong. But now you got her acting all
kinds of crazy to the point where she may have
killed somebody. And look, we all know Johns were hoping
(01:28:29):
that somebody did come in while Sharon was passed out. Now,
who is that person? Is either Lucy or Daisy. But
if let's just say, you don't you're not going to
do what the fans are saying, and you're saying that
Sharon did all of this. To me, this is the
final nail in the coffin of Sharon. There's no way
(01:28:51):
for her to get out of this because the thing
is is that you got her acting all kinds of
all kinds of all kinds of right. But also at
the same time, Okay, for the Sharon and Knicks fans
out there, how lets you hear me, I have an
issue with this. You either put them together or not.
(01:29:14):
And I also have an issue with the Adam factor.
You're mean to tell me Adam wouldn't be a part
of this storyline. Call again, call me now, Carter, and
give me a break this story like we we went
so far out. I can honestly say this, I'm tapped out.
I am tapped out, young and rosters of this storyline.
(01:29:35):
That that again, Emmy nominations. I see the Emmy Real
Sharon Case, Michael Grass, the day Emily, I see Lindon.
But to me, it makes it makes no sense of
what's going on. And I even said this last night
the other person. I think, if y'all gonna say if
Cameron has a twin brother, and if you do that, Josh,
(01:29:55):
I'm gonna call you out because you guys start the
twins on the show. So to me, I'm I'm begging you.
Just end the story. Just end the story. Like literally,
this Thursday ended because I can't. I can't go. I
can't do this anymore. You you had me hooked, but
now it's like done.
Speaker 5 (01:30:23):
Maybe in a couple of weeks we'll be talking about redemption.
I don't think we will be, but you know, it's
soap opera. Maybe there's a way, Maybe they'll figure out
a way. I personally think this needs to be the
Swan song. This needs to be you know, the cap
on the character. Mm hmm, all right, well what else about?
Speaker 1 (01:30:48):
Actually I don't I don't say.
Speaker 2 (01:30:51):
Like I almost feel like and listening to Candace, I
almost I feel like someone needs to find out what
Sharon has done, like because she's totally unglued. But like
you said, no one's saying anything, but yet I feel
like we have glimpses of like Mariah being like something's
off with Sharon, like she's she's but then but then
(01:31:14):
she's like, oh, maybe she's okay. So I feel like
Mariah has moments of like kind of being like suspicious
that there might be something going on, but then someone
else will say something to her. Then then she like
tones it tones back. I just I need someone to
find out like what she's done, or maybe even like
we wouldn't find out what both of me is that
(01:31:34):
a lot of them have seen her cuckoo foot cool,
you know, coogole foot, yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:31:38):
Before before nobody's picking up this challing, you know, the
nervous giggle.
Speaker 8 (01:31:47):
You know, just picks things like.
Speaker 5 (01:31:49):
Y'all don't she burned down the ranch. We went through
the journey just like these people foke up in Generous
that he did lover is past, lovers children, you know
of a family member, Fela. You know, No, I loved
I love the acting that's been done in this in
(01:32:10):
this storyline, but they killed Sharon. There's no coming back
from that.
Speaker 2 (01:32:16):
No, I never would have sat in a million years
that she would have killed Heather, and it's like she
went they went there, and it's like, oh my gosh,
Like I don't see how she can be reduced after.
Speaker 5 (01:32:25):
That one about the next the next soap opera that
we're going to go talk about. But David has got
to wag in a little bit too. Go ahead, Dave.
Speaker 4 (01:32:38):
I'm just thrilled. I don't want I don't want sharing
to exit the show. I mean, she I don't want
this to be a swan song for her, But I'm
just I just can't get over the fact that she
actually carried her into that truck and dumped her.
Speaker 5 (01:32:58):
I mean.
Speaker 4 (01:33:00):
The logistics alone. I just can't get over that. Now
she can come back from it, and like the rest
of you said, someone's got to figure this out. Some
my my money is gonna be on fathe.
Speaker 5 (01:33:21):
I think that's I think that's where it's gonna start. Yeah,
all right, let's move over to General Hospital. I am
loving and hating this show at such equal parts. It
is not even funny. Okay, they get him all the
(01:33:41):
way back and he's got a parasite, so he goes
in and slaps up Bobby's.
Speaker 11 (01:33:45):
Dina Okay, you know mister you know, you know mister
Sexy from web Weather again suit.
Speaker 5 (01:33:57):
You know, mister sex is gonna end up in Port Charles.
She got stolen, but they're gonna throw another baddy at us. Brennan. Uh,
there is so much wrong, there's so much good. Samantha,
I don't know who you are. Yeah, I'm sorry. I
(01:34:17):
hate to say this, but it is so not gonna
be missed. You're gonna be more in not being there
than you have been being there for a long time.
I am so sorry. I'm gonna be the one.
Speaker 1 (01:34:29):
To say it.
Speaker 5 (01:34:31):
This feels to me like beginning of Maurice Bana's retalirement storyline. Yeah,
I think I.
Speaker 4 (01:34:40):
Thought this is gonna happen right now.
Speaker 5 (01:34:42):
But I think people better get themselves. They better get
things in order, you know, t shirts maybe that they
got to take out. I don't know. Maybe they should
on themselves some some tissue boxes of tissues and things.
Take it away, Candace, come on, tell me. This is
at the beginning of Maurice's retirement.
Speaker 1 (01:35:02):
Story It has look and we love Maurice first one
I want. I don't want people say, oh just hate him. No,
we love him. It's just what else do you put
him up against? And I do think after today, I
(01:35:22):
was like, yeah, this this has to we have to
start preparing. I got them and again we don't know nothing.
But to me, yeah we don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:35:33):
Is that I thought it was gonna be when I
thought it was going to be when he was going
to decide to turn himself in. I thought that was
going to be us preparing.
Speaker 1 (01:35:46):
But I knew don Gon well, he wasn't gonna prepare.
You know, I'm gonna say this, and I'm I'm having
an issue with with him and some other characters when
they say they're going to do certain things and they're
not doing it. I'm gonna be honest. I know that
(01:36:06):
Sonny and Electus has a very unique friendship, which is
one of the things that I do respect at times. However,
I kept saying, is that he ain't gonna turn himself in.
That would have been one of his final coffins in
his own one of the final nails in his own coffins,
(01:36:30):
because again, you shot a federal agent, dude. This ain't
like you shot somebody at the market or anthing. You
really shot somebody. That is part of the federal government,
and this ain't the first time. And you've been very
like the people with poort. Y'all's the law people have
(01:36:53):
been very sweet to you, but you know, don't doing
well because of the history and every sense you would
have gone down. No, you would have gone danging. So
that's why I said, he ain't gonna he first of
it was he was gonna have other people go too,
because think about it, he talked to Carly, then Carly
(01:37:16):
just escape jail tairs like Michael and Michael and Michael
Michael like if he was going to go down and
if he was going to snitch, people were going to
go down for him. And that was my whole thing.
That's why I was like this, like today when Michael
and Christina was like, wait, I thought, damn was gonna said,
(01:37:38):
what the heck is going on here? I'm like, y'all
really believed he was going to do it, you know,
some way there was going to be a loophole done
shall Yeah, that's all I got.
Speaker 5 (01:37:56):
How do you feel about babe? I mean, Alectra Haven's
being the new little So.
Speaker 1 (01:38:02):
Truthfully, I'm happy for her, but I'm feeling bad for
her at the same time. Because she's coming. She's coming
on the show when there's a lot of heat regarding
how this is all gonna work out, and if we
are right about what's going to happen regarding Sam. We
(01:38:23):
already know that everybody is in their feelings about Kelly
Monicau leaving the show, and it's like a no brainer
how they're going to write Sam off and how they're
going to introduce Lulu, and I think that's the same. Now, again,
we do not know because look look up until the
last the eleventh hour, they could have probably rewrote some things,
(01:38:45):
but it looks like it's going to be that Sam
is gonna say Lulu, and I think that's like, that's
why I said I feel bad for Luck because she's
gonna come in like fans are not gonna like her
character because it was a sacrifice for another. We could
have had a Sam Dante and Lulu trying. Yeah and
(01:39:06):
I but at the same time, let's go I want
to see alexis played this new Lulu. Who's going to
be the Laura. I've been saying that Lulu will be
Laura now because think about the Laura lost from her
years because she was in a coma she was in,
you know, did so it's gonna be very interesting to
see her take on Lulu. But the way they're going
(01:39:30):
to introduce her, yes, it is.
Speaker 5 (01:39:35):
It is so truly trial by fire. But honestly, when
I thought about it, and I thought of all of
the story arts that she played as Babe, this is
this is the actress to do it. So I am interested.
She's gonna take a lot of heat.
Speaker 1 (01:39:54):
Oh yeah, well, okay.
Speaker 4 (01:39:58):
I have to tell you I'm looking for forward to
seeing her because I have to come clean. I'm not
very familiar with the actress and I wasn't watching the
show at the time, so I have I'm doing my
I'm trying to you know, I'm gonna try and do
(01:40:18):
some homework and find some stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:40:20):
I'm gonna say. Well, no, I'm gonna say this. I'm
gonna I'm gonna be honest. Okay, this is what I
really want now. I think, Actually, Anthony, to me, we
have prior experiences what's her because we watched all My
Children or we watched you know, certain things, David. What
I'm going to tell you is what I'm going to
tell a lot of people. Don't look at a previous work.
Speaker 2 (01:40:40):
Yeah, a different character, completely different character.
Speaker 5 (01:40:46):
And we have been in twelve thirteen years.
Speaker 1 (01:40:50):
Yeah, I mean I've seen her obviously, I've seen her,
you know, when she was doing the Lifetime movies and
stuff with Jacob and with Buddy Milliks. But as Ad
then goes David, I will say, and for those who
are listening, if you do not have prior experience, because
there's somebody else who a lot of people that may
not have prior experience with I will say, when her
(01:41:11):
first air date happens, that's your first that's your first
impression of her. Yep, like you watch her in this role.
Because for us who have previous experience, it's gonna take
us a while to really see her as probably Lulu,
considering that we've spent through other Lulu. This is going
to be your first, your first take on alessis as Lulu.
(01:41:32):
So I'm gonna say, don't do it. Don't don't do it.
I agree you because and you are two different characters,
you know, and and the writing for both of these
for those characters were completely different, different So yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:41:49):
Okay, can handle it. So I'm ready to see what happens. Okay,
let's go Anna and Jason. I start with Goad David, Oh.
Speaker 4 (01:42:06):
I'm glad it was just a uh distractionary method.
Speaker 1 (01:42:21):
That's okay, person for most shout out to the General
Hospital's PR department for Nola and Siege, because this is
this is what really got me. The kids happened right,
and social media went wild, yo, gay. Everybody was talking
(01:42:44):
about people having spaces. People was on Facebook. People was
like everyone yeah, to the point that even Bradford and
them had to talk about it on their podcast. But
this was the beauty of how I think this is
the we have now changed as soap fans. Where again, Okay,
(01:43:08):
the first thing everybody said is, ew, that's Robin's mama. Okay, y'all.
How many of y'all have been watching so long enough
that a father has had both the mother and the daughter,
the woman has had the father and the son and
the Holy spirit.
Speaker 5 (01:43:23):
Huh.
Speaker 1 (01:43:24):
And then I saw the age thing, and I'm like,
don't y'all remember that Robin and Jason are actually kind
of a couple of years apart two Like, okay, to me,
I was like, it's a distraction for that guy. Y'all
got to remember what they were being held hostage. They were,
you know, trying to get out. So when the next day,
and I'm going to be honest, that was actually one
(01:43:45):
of the highest rated episodes that week on General Hospitals
because everybody wanted to see if this was going to
lead into something more. I just was lasting my bout off.
I was like, yo, they got instead of the negative it,
let's be honest, General House. We just had a lot
of negativity lately, right with some of the stories, right,
(01:44:07):
but yeah, this actually was like, this was trending, This
was like but it was just the funniest thing. And
I'm just like sitting back and I'm like, y'all, do
you realize that this was a calling to get out
of where they was at?
Speaker 2 (01:44:25):
Right?
Speaker 1 (01:44:25):
This ain't nothing more. It wasn't a fantasy. It wasn't
like the montage is I'll be bashing deep eh, nothing
like that. It was literally astraction. But we don't got
the right to the other party, that's but but I
just was like cracking up. Now going forward, I don't
(01:44:46):
think they're going to do anything with the but it
was just that twenty four hours cracked you up. When
I saw the the robbing peeking over the wall, means
I was no good. Y'all had cracking up laughing. Ye,
what would Robin And that's actually with graphad actin, Like
(01:45:07):
what would Robin do? Is Robin coming back?
Speaker 5 (01:45:15):
I'm sorry, I'm gonna say that they took they took
a page out of the bold and beautiful book. Ye,
Dane decided to throw a complete shock up at us
and then dangle is for two days. They had to,
they had to wait to give us the talks about
it and everything, and good for them, but that shock
(01:45:35):
moment was like, yes, I'm very proud. Okay, I'm gonna
I'm gonna say I am so over Cody and Sasha.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (01:45:48):
I want to like them, I.
Speaker 5 (01:45:49):
Want to believe in them. I want to steal something
about them, but I don't. I have more Cameracy has
more chemistry with Tracy than he does with her. Speak
speaking of Tracy, that's that little or Okay, the conversation
with Sella on the bench and ship, I would not
have been surprised.
Speaker 8 (01:46:07):
If they like reached out and tenderly started kissing. But
that's a different.
Speaker 5 (01:46:11):
Kind of story. No, no, but honestly, we'll's the humanizing
of Tracy, but the whole jealousy like no, well, all right,
I'm still don't worry about what was loose, Okay, Ashley,
(01:46:37):
go ahead.
Speaker 2 (01:46:41):
I I really enjoyed Lucky returning to Port Charles within
the past couple of weeks, especially his scenes with Elizabeth,
and then I also liked his scenes with with Aiden,
so I thought those are nicely done. And I feel like, yeah,
nicely done. And I feel like Aiden and Lucky kind
(01:47:03):
of have room now to kind of move forward as
as father and son and try to, you know, repair
some of those things that have been broken and lost
over the years. So I hope we get to see
more of Aiden with Lucky. And I'm also anxious to
see Jonathan Jackson and how he interacts with Alexa Havens
(01:47:28):
when she comes in as Lula, just to kind of
see that that you know, chemistry with with the brother
and sisters. So I think that will be interesting to
kind of see how she messes with with Jonathan, I
with Jeannie. So I'm anxious to see that.
Speaker 5 (01:47:46):
All right, I can to go.
Speaker 1 (01:47:48):
Okay, So when it comes down to Lucky's with her,
I was gonna here's to say, I love I love
Jonathan and I grew up with him. I think that's
all of us. And yeah, there's been some hits and
missus with Lucky's return because for me, I as the
(01:48:11):
tea's father, is probably the word that I used instead
of dead beat. But apparently some people say dead beat
and all that stuff. But nonetheless, you needed to tell
me why he hasn't been there because he had The
only two kids that he's been there for was Jake
and Cameron. And I said what I said, go back
(01:48:32):
to the history books, because that's that's the truth. I
appreciated the scenes when he was talking to Lulu and
Acoma and the flashbacks. Yehau always say that is right
if you're able to still have the original characters, or
you had had to do that for the new viewers
(01:48:53):
or whoever needed his realized this that he would have
done anything for his sister. Oh okay, Hamlet, Rebecca Hert
still got it point blank period. Do I want Lucky
in lives together. We'll come to that bridge when we
have to, but I can tell you this right now.
(01:49:14):
I was like feeling, I felt this is the most
gentle hospital I've felt in a long time that I
felt normal with you because I was feeling everything here
when he was when Now, obviously when he got t STAMI,
we found out he had parasites because again, he's been
a third world country, he's been traveling, he's been drinking,
(01:49:35):
not drinking alcohol or anything else that is just now
keep in mind, he was a match, but he can't
do it because his liver is a little damage. So
I was okay with that, but him's kirking out and
every saying, look, here's the deal, fo. Do I think
they did too much?
Speaker 5 (01:49:52):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (01:49:52):
I did. But at the same time, I'm like, you know,
they're really trying to make him into Luke, and I
have to get used to that because for a while,
Lucky's never wanted to be like his father, and of
course the times, like the drinking and all that stuff. Yeah,
(01:50:16):
he has been a little bit like Luke, but he's
made sure to not be like luc if that makes sense.
Him coming back and him and Aiden, Look, I know
everybody said Aiden needs to have smoked for him, but
let me tell you something. You can tell that Aiden
was was trying to figure out how to say this
because he made a comment He's not coming back for me.
(01:50:37):
He's coming back for Luluke, and at the same time,
he's been waiting to say something to his father because
he probably was feeling as though, maybe my dad will
run away if I tell him this. We already know, right.
The thing is, we already know Elizabeth loves him, but
(01:50:59):
Lucky it's a holder like will he accept him or not?
And I'm gonna say this. Those scenes to me with
both of them were so ordinic. And maybe it's because
Donathan is a father in real life he has boys.
But when he said he's like, okay, let me let
me process this four minutes. If you have known Lucky
(01:51:22):
Spencer says day one, you knew what his answer was
going to be.
Speaker 5 (01:51:28):
And you have to stop you there for a second
because there's a really important part that has to be said.
Almost any other show would have said I love you anyway.
Speaker 1 (01:51:41):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 5 (01:51:42):
And they didn't play it that way.
Speaker 1 (01:51:45):
Yeah they did. After School Break Special, they.
Speaker 4 (01:51:48):
Gave him this minute.
Speaker 1 (01:51:51):
Well it's something else, Oh go ahead.
Speaker 5 (01:51:54):
What I'm saying is they didn't say. He didn't say
I love you anyway. He said I love you, but
who whoever you are, mm.
Speaker 1 (01:52:05):
Not not?
Speaker 5 (01:52:06):
I love you even though you're gay. I love you
for everything you are. I was like, the first time
I've ever seen it handled like that.
Speaker 1 (01:52:16):
And when he said, if you ever felt as though
me being away because of who you are? And I
was like this because Aiden doesn't know. And see that's
another thing. Aiden doesn't know why Lucky was never around.
You Gotta remember Aiden was, yeah, Aden was a baby
(01:52:36):
when Lucky saw him last well you know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (01:52:40):
He was like, but he was.
Speaker 1 (01:52:41):
Like, well no, because remember that's all when when Lucky,
when Lucky left Aiden, we had found out Aiden was
really Lucky because remember Helena messed with the test of
salt then and Lucky come back for like certain things
here and there, but then off strain, it was an
else that he was doing stuff with Aiden.
Speaker 5 (01:53:02):
That's why I said, I remember that.
Speaker 1 (01:53:07):
Right, wh was Jonathan Jackson's son. That was Jonathan's boy.
Speaker 4 (01:53:10):
That was yeah, yeah, yeah, that wasn't done. Yeah yeah,
that first one and Jason the one that Charlotte.
Speaker 5 (01:53:21):
Was no, the baby baby, the baby yeah, the one with.
Speaker 1 (01:53:32):
The little too simply knows we know that was from Unis.
But by the way, you know, okay, thank you, But anyway,
I had no problem with that. Now do I feel
as though there should have been a placement. No, I
don't because I think Aiden needed to get that off
before he sit fields as though Dad, my dad left
and I couldn't tell him that. And also Lucky was
there for his cousin Lucas. He was there for shown.
(01:53:55):
So don't think Lucky was going to have a problem
with this. And I saw a lot of people playing, well,
Mucky should have a no. No, he shouldn't have no,
he shouldn't.
Speaker 8 (01:54:03):
Not all Lucky no.
Speaker 1 (01:54:05):
No. Let me let me address this real quick because
you've got to come run out of time. The Jason
and Lucky stuff. Let me say this because I said
this last night, and then we may be controversial for guests.
What don't care. My whole thing is that both Jason
and Lucky are in two different boats for the same water.
(01:54:26):
They need to really show their children that they are
going to be there for them instead of putting everybody
else in front of them. Unfortunately, Lucky can do that.
Let me just say that, yeah, Lucky has to do
a lot of I'm sorry and stuff like that and
(01:54:49):
really be there for his family. Jason, I had an
issue with you because you feel as though just because
you feel as though Sam and Elizabeth can take care
of the child that you shouldn't be there. Let me
tell you something right now, you're about to lose one
of your baby mamas. So my question to you is
is that what do you want to do? Wants that?
Speaker 5 (01:55:13):
And where where.
Speaker 1 (01:55:16):
Right? And not only that, Diane, we don't see out
the eye sometimes I applaused you said what you said,
and you called him out because you're not the only
person to really do it. Also, he said, Hence where
I had an issue with you. Everybody's like Lucky Lucky
to you know, probably you know, want to Jason to
(01:55:38):
get some money and stuff like that. Here's my problem,
Jason to me, this is where the growth would have
kicked in. Hey, Jason, you're saying that, saying Carly can't
live with us, you blah blah blah blah blah and
all this all this dazz and stuff like that. Okay,
when Lucky it came to you and ask for the money,
you know what you should have said, Jason. No, you
(01:55:58):
just said no because you're y'all needs you, So it
would have kind of been a catch twenty two in
a sense. I'm sorry, Like I said, when Sam goes
to the great beyond. If this doesn't change the care
of Jason and have him become a father. I'm gonna
tell you right now, I would like to thank General
Hospital for proving my point of why I didn't want
(01:56:19):
Jason to come back in the first place, because you're
gonna write him as the same old, same old, same old.
Even Sam said who you are? Yeah, this is who
you are. You are a person who will who will
put everybody in front of you instead of doing your
own thing. So again, what's gonna happen to Danny? What
are you gonna do about Jake? Yep, I'm just saying, Okay,
(01:56:44):
you gotta go.
Speaker 5 (01:56:49):
Well what about Dante?
Speaker 1 (01:56:52):
Mm hmmmmence.
Speaker 5 (01:57:00):
Hmhm. I real.
Speaker 1 (01:57:06):
It's gonna be interesting to see if if Jason actually
passed up not being a a full time father, who
is Danny going to be with We know where Scout's
gonna be at because she's gonna be over there with Drew,
But where is Dad he gonna be at? And yes,
General Hospital answer the question, are you and Nina's gonna
(01:57:31):
stay with him even when the even when the nuts
comes out.
Speaker 8 (01:57:34):
Nina's gonna stay with him because she's gonna have scouts.
Speaker 5 (01:57:39):
Showing that one. Saw the writing on the wall. With
that one, I gotta say, I'm sorry. Yes, we needed
a reckoning with Christina.
Speaker 1 (01:57:51):
What then?
Speaker 5 (01:57:55):
Have gone too far? Now they have made her completely
for crazy. You know she is completely cucko.
Speaker 1 (01:58:03):
I'm over it.
Speaker 5 (01:58:06):
Completely all right. We will be back in two weeks
with another great show. Are we welcome? Welcome, Welcome, Ashley.
We'd loved having you.
Speaker 2 (01:58:18):
Thanks, guys, happy to be a part of the crew.
Speaker 5 (01:58:23):
We are night everyone, good night, everybody, Hi, guys, hye.
