Maybe a little loud here because Ihave fans going because it was ninety nine
(01:19):
degrees here today. Wow, it'sreally shocker there. Yeah. Well,
where where are you at right now? We're in Nashville. Yeah, you're
in Nashville. Cool? Yeah?Cool? Um? Hello, Liz Clever,
how are you? Is this tooloud? Of this on our right
to you? Can you hear everything? Okay? Yeah, yeah, it's
(01:44):
good for me. Okay, allright, good good, all right.
Um, So basically um, weget everybody popping in here now. I
just wanted to start a real quickwatch party and then we'll we'll add a
few more people in here. Um. So, how's things with with you?
As in uh, this COVID thing? You starting to get things working
(02:06):
back up to start getting out thereor what. We've been writing a lot
and kind of doing a lot ofthings in the studio. It's been really
tough to uh, you know,to get out and play shows with everything
going on. I don't think anybody'sdoing that really, um. Yeah,
so we're kind of kind of stuckto staying inside and kind of doing the
(02:28):
same thing and just staying focused onthe music, right And and that's what
I hear from a lot of people, um, is that they're they're they're
just writing concerting on that. Um. I was talking to a friend of
mine from drop Kick Murphy. They'renot planning on going and doing any concerts
till March of next year. Youknow that. Yeah. Yeah, it's
(02:49):
like in my twenty twenty one isthe is the move right? Right?
Well, that's what I'm hearing fromeverybody, to be honest with you.
So it's it's it's totally crazy um, Liz says, yeah, you can
hear me. Well, thanks Liz, I'm glad you can hear me all
the way in California, she says, And I feel your pain. Hello
Tom Nalie, how are you?Um? Well, I've been noticing,
(03:12):
I mean, I get your updatesand stuff that you You definitely have some
really catchy tunes going on here.Thank you. Uh the Can't Find Me?
I really love that song. Um, that's actually one of my favorites,
to be honest with you, sothat ye come from. Yeah,
I love it's uh No, Ishould put that song out back in twenty
(03:37):
eighteen, so it's kind of crazyto see that. Thanks still h yeah,
servicing and still doing its thing outin the in the street space there.
It's awesome. Yeah. Well I'veJesus, i've known you for let's
see, the tour was seven years. That was three years ago, so
I've known you probably eleven years, ten to eleven years. You know,
(04:00):
that's been a bit, sure hassure has? I remember conversations with you
on the phone, just getting youout this way, you know. Yeah,
yeah, yeah, but I'm gladthat you are where you are.
You've worked really hard to do thatso thank you. It's been a lot
of fun to get here too.The journey's just getting started. We're excited.
There you go, there you go. Um all right, so it
(04:24):
looks like the watch party is upand running, so we got that going
as well. So we're gonna havefive streaming outlets at this moment, which
is which is great. So guys, where you can put your comments and
stuff right here in the stream yardside as well as on you're gonna see
this live on Talk with Teddy onFacebook and w LFDB Radio on Facebook.
(04:47):
Then you have two YouTube channels thatit's live on also Talk with Teddy and
w LFE as well on their YouTube. So you got five video outlets and
you have eleven audio let's so there'sthere's plenty. Yeah. So I'm a
little heavier than when you remember mebefore. I got that double chin working,
(05:11):
you know. Yeah, that's okay, even hibernating gearing up. Yeah,
well, you know, like theCOVID thing, you know, it's
just been it's driving all of usnuts, you know. Hello Laura,
Hello Jeffrey, Hello Ruthan. Yeah, there we go. So, you
know, we really haven't it's beena while since we talk so we're going
to kind of go to the beginninga little bit and kind of talk about
(05:34):
who Eric van Houghton is and howwe got into music. If you don't
mind, Yeah, no, I'mall about it. I love it.
Cool. Well, how just whatroget what's droning into it? My whole
dad saw the family played growing up, and it's just kind of been something
that I've always had in my family, So it made it really easy to
(05:56):
transitioning to want to do it andwant to be a part of it.
So um, it took them gettingdivorced from at a young age from ege
for me to kind of dive inand get into playing it and stuff like
that and then being a part ofit. And I was kind of one
of those things that I just pickedit up and didn't stop. So right,
it's crazy, right, I don'tthink. I don't think I've never
(06:20):
spent a day without a guitar inmy head. Well, I remember the
beginning. I remember, I rememberthose shows you know, from you coming
up towards the Rochester area playing theCDC tt UM, playing like I was
at frost Ridge. It's now calledthe something Else the Ridge or whatever it
(06:40):
is. You played Nashville two,Nashville's you played, played all the local
places in our area at least um, and then you went all over.
You went to jam in the Valley, you went to you know as a
local kid. You know, youwere paying your dues, you know,
which was yeah, yeah, Imean it. Uh, I feel like,
(07:01):
um, you know, I've heardKeith n say it and guys like
Peter frank And say it and thingslike that, and it's just um,
and if you're not playing out youdon't get the experience. You don't kind
of gain the fans, I guesstrust in respect if you don't get out
there and play shows and play alot of them, you know what I
mean. Yeah, well I've seenplenty of your shows, so you know
I know how good you are.Um, thank each presence is awesome.
(07:25):
The band behind you has always beenfantastic, and you're just you're just great
on stage. Thank you T Doves. Yeah we uh, well it's always
something that I kind of strive for. Man. You know it's uh because
I know if I ever go toshows and I'm not entertained, that always
frustrates me. So why wouldn't itdo the same, you know, so
you got to go out there anddo your job. Yeah, you get
(07:46):
bored a ship, Yeah, exactly, Well coming from somebody with my experience
that you know, I've been afrontman for thirty years, um and in
bands you know, across our areatoo, and I always look at the
front man. I look at thesinger in the front to see, you
know, what they're doing, youknow, to um if anything, give
(08:09):
pointers um or say, man,I really like what he's doing. I
guess I'm going to steal that, you know, you know some of the
something like that. You know. But you know how it is being a
local guy. I mean, whenyou start out in music, you you're
kind of the new boy on theblock and you have to feel things out.
And you know up here in Rochester, you know how tough it was
(08:30):
the Rochester Buffalo area. Nobody wantedto give, you know, a little
to help anybody out. I meanthat was the day when I was,
you know, doing it. Youknow, nobody wanted to help out.
Everybody was pretty much stuck to themselves. I think over time it got a
little looser where people you know, helped each other out and stuff. But
yeah, you know, it wastough, but you. I mean I
(08:52):
can I can actually say that youwere one of the only younger musicians that
I know, and when all ofus were playing out all the time,
that did as much like work asI did. That you had to get
out there, walk and talk andyou know sometimes bitch and you needed to
haggle, You needed to you know, did you had to do whatever you
(09:13):
had to do to get your bandto play. Yeah, I mean when
it comes to venues, sometimes whenyou're new, they just don't respect,
you know, as much as aband that's been around for five or ten
years. And that's just how itis. This way it goes. And
I mean it's like that, evenin Nashville. You can't just walk in
and think you're, you know, the best thing on the block. You
gotta work your way up. Yougot to grind the ladder and you know,
(09:35):
make people, make people turn theiryou know, turn their head and
listen to your music and then letthe music do the talking. And then
when you get the opportunity to playa live show, you just got to
step up and do it, youknow, yeah, and give one hundred
and ten percent of each show becausepeople are watching and you know, the
only way exactly. That's you know, that's that's kind of how we live
our tour life, and that's ourmindset is. Especially as of late last
(10:01):
you know, five or six yearsof me living down here in Nashville,
it's kind of been. Um,you know, if we hit a stage,
you just have to get to work. You have to work hard to
make people in the crowd and feellike that was the best night of the
or not best night of the lifewhen they wake up in the morning,
you know, right right right.I just don't think that. I don't.
(10:22):
I think fans are very coherent towhat is real and fake on stage,
right, So I just I thinkthat they can see whether an artist
is being authentic and real or ifsomeone's just kind of out there doing it
to do it to make money orto have the fame or whatever the hell
else comes with this, you know, passion of ours that we we chase
(10:43):
every day. I believe that's trueas well. Um, the people that
um, well, especially the fans. The fans are the ones that make
your break. Yeah. They're theone that that you know, push you
so much that where they want tosee, you know, better stuff or
new stuff, or they wanted togo somewhere. So you know, it's
it's that old saying that you canhang up as many posters, run as
(11:05):
many ads as you want, butit's the fans that are watching you that
it's the word of mouth. They'rethe ones. They're the backbone of your
music and who you are. Youknow, it really is like that,
let's see, Liza there you go. I was just gonna say, Liz
has got one here. Uh,let's see. It's always interesting to see
(11:26):
what the frontman does. Bands likeBlue Us or Cult tend to stand in
place. Then you have other bandswhere the front man tries to get crowd
participation, which is fun. Andthat's one of the things that I've always
believed that a frontman is supposed tobe. They're the pocket they're the ones
that everybody's seeing, they're the onesthat everybody's talking to. So you're the
one that I don't think that presentationout there. Yeah, I don't think
(11:48):
you can walk on the stage withoutthe ability to um just turn on the
turn on the switch and go forit, you know, right right,
and that's you know, it's it'suh. Tom Nanley says, my only
niece is living down a Nashville,Philly girl down the love that. That's
awesome. That's cool. That's cool. Oh crap, I can make it
(12:11):
pop up on here. I didn'teven notice. Oh yeah, I can
do that for you. And Ican make it pop up here for you.
So because I see this little chatbutton, it just keeps popping up,
but I don't see him if Idon't hit it. Yeah, any
questions and stuff they have like that, I'll pop right up here so that
you can see him. Yep,not a problem. Awesome, Yeah,
that's away. I love it.Yeah, it's real cool. Um.
(12:33):
So I just want to say helloto a couple of other people over here
on my live chat. Um,oh, here's one for you. Laura
Beck says, we knew you. Can't wait to see you up here soon.
Man. I love Jeff and Laura. Those are some of the best
people. That's awesome. Um,let's see hello too, uh, Ray
Pella Greeni, Dorothy Lutz, HannaSinclair, Grant Gaskin, Scott Wells Um
(12:58):
and then over here we still haveTom and Liz and there's like three other
outlets I can't see. So I'msure there's other people there, um,
but I know they can hear us. So if you guys want to geve
comments, you need to come overhere into the UM stream yard. UM,
it's right on talk with Teddy.UM. If you put in Facebook
(13:22):
in the in the search put talkwith Teddy, you'll actually find that and
then you can come over here andget in this live feed and then we'll
we'll share what you need, youknow, your questions and stuff with Eric.
So that's problem. It's just clickingout of one and clicking in the
other. So, UM, we'vewe've interviewed actually quite a few musicians,
younger musicians from the Nashville area.UM, I was gonna actually one of
(13:45):
them was Williams. I think washer last name, Meg Williams. I
think do you know who that is? It's not ringing about yeah, Megan
Williams. Yeah, I'm not surei've heard her very yet. Yeah,
she's she's pretty cool. She's gotsome good stuff. I love it.
(14:07):
That's I mean, there's so manypeople moving here chasing yeah, very kind
of brows thing wide open. It'sso it's so fun to see how young
Nashville has become over even I mean, I'm only twenty seven, right,
so I'm not saying I'm old,but um, I've been been here five
six years now, and I thinkit's one of those things where it's like,
(14:28):
it's so funny to watch how howyoung it's become and watched you know,
twenty two year old kids come outof Belmont and and Vanderbilt and stuff,
all the music colleges and live hereand help, you know, be
a part of the music industry andkeep it growing. It's awesome. How
now, how many of the guysfrom the original band that I thought back
(14:48):
in the day or with you downthere? None of them? Oh really?
Oh yeah, no nobody. Yeah, A whole new band from Nashville.
Yeah, it's been good. Actually, ironically, one of my buddies
from dun Kirk, New York ishe's our drummer. He'ser um, you
know, like pretty much our wholeproduction manager, drummer, the whole High
(15:09):
on the road. He said,he's where as many hats. He's a
beast. That's awesome. I wassupposed to tell you high from John Winter,
I thought him. Yeah, Ilove that dude. Yeah, and
one of the best sound guys upthere. I love him. Oh yeah,
oh yeah. Um, Tom says, let's get this right up there.
(15:30):
Crowd participation is key in a lotof live music venues, regardless as
to what kind of music you play. I mean that's um, you know,
my first concert was Poisoned and ratand I was twelve years old.
So I mean, like me,trying to entertain people comes from me watching
guys like Bret Michaels and and youknow, um right, the Paul Rodgers
(15:54):
and um, I mean, gosh, it's a bash and box from skid
Row, like the eighties hair metaldays, you know, right right,
Axl Rose all that stuff. LikeI just I just loved all that kind
of music, and it definitely comesout a little bit when we're rocking on
stage. For sure. I likeit. This is like, hell yeah,
(16:18):
a lot of it. That's awesome. Um, you know, it's
it's been a long road for youand there's I'm sure there's been a lot
of ups and downs. Um,but concert's like because of this COVID thing,
I mean, did you have alot of concerts scheduled? I mean
you were doing a lot of openingsand stuff too as well, weren't you.
Yeah, we had from the endof March till about mid October.
(16:44):
We were pretty much every weekend.Yeah, we had a I think it
was close to like sixty centing show, seventy centing show all canceled. Yeah
that sucks. That does suck.Yeah, you know, yea, what
do you do to get by forfor cash? You have pizza boy,
waiter or delivery? Yeah, Iknow. Yeah, right now, I'm
(17:07):
grateful. I'm grateful that I gotsigned to a publishing deal last year.
Um, and so I still getpaid the right songs, which is surreal
in its own right, but itit's definitely staved today for sure. Well
congratulations man, Yeah, thanks,Yeah, it's been it's been fun and
(17:27):
it doesn't stuck working with one ofyour best blots too, so that's great.
Yeah. Now I gotta say that, you know, your music has
always been well, you've always beenspecial to me. Your music has always
been special. Um. You know, we brought you up here for the
tour and I've always done the bestI could buy you. But you know,
I was listening to your stuff andI'm like, you know who this
(17:48):
guy? Things like now, it'slike when did his voice change? And
I'm just meaning it's comically, butum, I was listening to your stuff
and I hear a lot of EricChurch and you're right, Oh, that's
awesome. I've never heard that before, but I like it. Really,
you've never heard that before. Thatwas the first time I've heard that.
Well, I yeah, In fact, Um confine me was one of them
(18:12):
that got God. He sounds likeair Church and just it just makes me
think of his material. I loveit. Ye, yeah, I'll take
it. I'm not going to complain. Hey, yeah, that's you know,
it's one of those things. Imean, I've I stood by him,
man, and what have you putout? You could be singing I
(18:33):
don't know, my little tug boatand I'd probably still listen to it.
Hey, you never know, Imight come out with a little kid's album
there you go and get it setto a little cartoon and you know,
you never know. Yeah, that'sgood stuff. So right up here,
like in um, I wanted tobring it up with what the hell's the
(18:55):
name of that place? Verrysburg?Yeah, I'll yeah, yeah, Jam
and Valley was a three years ago. I saw you up there. I
don't remember, but they're not doingit anymore, which is such a shame
because it was a great venue, you know, for all that stuff.
But you gained a lot of fansfrom that area. You know, you
(19:17):
had a lot in Buffalo, theBuffalo area anyways. But I think a
lot of a lot of people atJam and the Valley took to you,
you know, I really do.Yeah, I mean it was it was
still very much a hometown crowd forus. And uh, I mean Jam
Valley will be missed. Hopefully theycan you know, bounce back and come
back and in full force with thatplace. Uh. You know, it's
(19:41):
part of the part of the story, part of the journey for me.
Um. You know, it's justit's gonna be a good time. It's
always it was always a good time. It was. It was a weekend
that the bandon I would always circleon the calendar and just be prepared for
an absolute shit the time. Yeah. Now, did you ever get to
the Attica Rodeo. Yeah, weactually played it two years in a row,
(20:06):
and uh oh, I think wekind of I think we kind of
ruined our our bridge there for somereason for either playing too like long or
too short of a set or something. And I don't know, let me,
we're supposed I think we were supposedto take a break, but we
just played all the way through becauseI was just the crowd was so rowdy
and it was just too hard notto keep playing. I don't know,
(20:30):
we loved it. It was agreat It was a great time. The
fans were amazing and having people therewere the people there were ready to get
very drunk, and we were rightthere with it. That's cowboys, man,
those guys love it. Yeah,No, I love Hey, those
those two years we played, wehad so much fun at both those shows.
I just think we as a bandmight have messed uh messed that.
(20:55):
Messed that one up a little bitwith the people that were running the show,
but they hey, I was routingand we had a great time with
him. So I think we gota couple of fans out of that too.
So I'm sure you did. Iwon't tell you this now. I
will tell you my family actually runsthe Edic Rodeo, so um, so
(21:15):
I sort of knew, but youknow, it's like, yeah, my
family was one of the original familiesthat put it on. But um.
But the reason I brought it upwas because, you know, double Cross.
The first year we played there,we did the same thing. They
had this rule that you had tostop at a certain time and probably just
kept saying more and more, playone more, play one more, and
(21:37):
we ended up playing. And actuallythe person that hired us and it's my
own family more or less, youknow that was involved in that said,
you know, you really have tostop when you tell you to stop,
blah blah blah, and you knowhe got mad at us. But it
was funny that a couple of yearslater they asked us back. So you
know, we just like, maybeit wasn't so bad, you know.
(21:59):
Yeah, we played two years backto back and um, I think it
was like two thousand and twelve andI wasn't thirteen. Maybe maybe even before
that. Yeah, I love theAttica Rodeo though. I mean that's where
you can go oh no, I'mdone right now. It was it was
an absolute last. I think weplayed two nights back to back, Friday
and Saturday, Frinday and Saturday, and it was just oh, just a
(22:22):
ship show and it was a greattime. But yeah, I think we
burned that bridge a little bit.Hey, we didn't throw any TVs out
of a hotel window, so Ithink we did all right. Nice nice.
Um, you know, there's someother big places like like fingerlikes hoos
(22:42):
to do big concerts. So whenyou guys were up here, did you
do any of the concerts up inour area at all? Um? Back
not dge. I can't lie toyou. I don't remember, but I
I know we've done the Ridge forsure. I love that place. Um.
Yeah, those guys, David isawesome. Those guys are awesome.
(23:03):
Yeah, unreal people. Um,great set up, great spot. We've
played a lot of the shows there. Um. But yeah, the only
thing we've done in the Fingerlakes isthe gaming casino. The turning still right
right, Well, you know that'sstill cool. But you've bigger and better
things. Man. You've been onsome stages with some big names. You've
(23:23):
Um, it's been a lot offun. You know, you've toured a
lot. Now tell me what it'slike staying in the hotels, going from
city to city. Man. Uh, well, I'm grateful enough, you
know, the last five years tohave a four years, to have a
band that's um dialed in and justloves to work, loves to grind on
(23:44):
stage, and then you know,we'll have a couple of cold pops after
the show. But I don't knowthe guys who are out either great good
time and you know, usually meand my drummer will bunk up and then
the guitar player and baseblayer cup orsometimes we just roll overnight. We don't
even freaking crashing hotels. We justkeep driving, keep going. Um,
(24:07):
one of us will will you know, be a d D and take the
bus and we'll roll it. Um. Where is it here? She just
put it on here? Oh,here it is. Um. Have you
ever played Tootsie's um drunkenly jumped upwith friends? Yeah, I've never had
like a show there, but um, we've been on Broadway at time or
(24:30):
two with somebody's playing down there andit's resulted in a couple couple of songs
on stage up there. Yet itsounds like that. It sounds like the
old days, you know, sometimesjust kind of kind of yeah. Yeah,
we'll wake up the next day andbounced back to it again. Yeah,
(24:53):
she says, haha, I loveit, just so you know,
I love the um. Yeah.Actually, she said that is so awesome.
I love that. I hope whatshe's got on her faces and tattooed
and it's just marker. Oh yeah, what do you sign against tattoos too?
(25:15):
No? I got lots of them. I see. I was gonna
ask you about ones on your arm. I see a wolf right there.
Wolf said, man, I'm prettycovered up for getting there. Good.
How many you got? I thinkI'm at like fourteen right now, I'm
at ten. I think you gotme. Getting this whole thing will be
(25:37):
technically so yeah, yeah, yeah, Tony Deville does all my stuff now
and out of Baltimore. Nice.Yeah, he comes up here and does
it. But he just put ayou're not gonna be able to see it,
but there's some of it. Youcan see some of it. That's
a a werewolf. Actually oops thatit's hard to tell. I can't do
it with a camera. But yeah, so he put a lot of different
(25:59):
ones on me, stuff that Iwanted. So uh actually she answered me.
Liz says, it's when I didthe feed on Norris religions. That's
cool, that's awesome. Norse religionsare actually pretty hot these days. And
she says she's twenty three and notthe face that's what Wait a minute,
(26:22):
and twenty three currently and not theface is not part of it. Lll
okay, all right. So whenwe were talking earlier, I dug up
the YouTube stuff so that we couldplay a couple of your songs for these
guys. It seems like they're allfans so far, except on my watch
(26:44):
parties. Some of these people overhere, I've never heard you, but
they're you know, interested, they'rewatching and stuff like that. So that's
cool. And Liz has got twentythree tattoos. Well good for you,
Liz. Yeah, up here yougo. I want a hundred by this
time next year. Just kidding.Um, I know it's crazy, isn't
(27:07):
it. Um. Jeff says,I can get your signature as a tattoo
if you're a headliner at Darien Lake. Give me like two years and you
got it. There you go.Two years. Wow, because so so
(27:29):
twenty twenty is gone. Two years, twenty three, twenty twenty three,
Yeah, that'll work at the latest. There you go. Um. I
reached out to a lot of yourfans out in Buffalo to get them to
come out here tonight. So I'mum, there's a couple here now,
and I'm sure there's going to bemore. Um, they they miss you,
(27:52):
Like when we were up at Nashville'stwo, you know, and stuff
like that. They all used tocome out and drink and holler and have
a good time. And I wastrying to think of the one artist that
um came up there and he kindof reminded me of you a little bit
with the material. But I don'twant to waste my time on it because
I couldn't remember the guy's name.No women, I just remember Chase Rice.
(28:15):
M Yeah, I think that's hisname, Chase Rice. Yeah,
yeah, I think so. Yeah. Yeah, Oh yeah, good guy.
I remember drinking with him a littlebit, a little drunk with him
last weekend. Oh look at you. That's awesome, Yeah, I asked.
(28:37):
I actually had um what is hisname, Big Vinny on here from
Trailer Choir like a month ago,and we were talking about up there.
Now you want to talk about agood dude. He's an awesome dude.
Yeah. I love Vinnie. He'sawesome. Oh yeah, yep. And
I just heard that James Wesley youremember who he is? Oh yeah,
(28:59):
singer James It. He just retired. He's not doing it anymore. Yeah,
I didn't know that. I justheard from me and way for the
other day girlfriend the other day. This stuff probably doesn't help people that are
in that space of still touring offof songs in two thousands and stuff like
that. You know, yeah,it's gotta be tough. It's gotta be
(29:22):
really tough. You know, I'mwriting. Yes, I mean that's the
majority of what some of these artistsare saying is well, I've taken the
last four months and I've written alot of material, but I don't know
when I'm gonna be able to playit or showcase it. So you know,
but hey, look at it thisway. You might have a couple
two or three albums ready to releaseback to back, and you know,
you never know. We're pretty we'repretty much down there with one of them.
(29:44):
But but see that's cool. Doyou do you at least get you
know, um, recording time.Oh yeah, so Chris and stuff and
who have my publishing deal? Ishe and I'd do all the recording and
stuff. So we're producing and everything. So yeah, yeah, him and
I have been him and I've beenstill working during all this, So it's
(30:04):
been good. Right. Well,I wasn't sure if you were able to
like actually get into a studio ornot to record because of the code.
Yeah, but but that's good, that's good, that's awesome. Well,
then we're gonna look forward to hearingsome really good stuff from you in the
future, you know. Oh,yeah that's coming. We just released We
just released one last week Friday,So, um is it on YouTube?
(30:26):
It probably is. Yeah, Sunday'sSunday never Yeah, Sunday never ends.
Yeah, that's uh that one.I have not listened to, believe it
or not. Who does all yourphoto work? The cartoon The cartoon on
that is awesome, by the way. Yeah, that's a buddy him on
here and Nashville. There's a lotof like cartoon character stuff like that.
(30:48):
And he's a great photographer, agreat graphic guy. And I basically hit
him up and I was like, hey, man, seeing how I'm doing
a photo shoot and I getting abunch of people together at the time is
probably now smart. What if wejust kind of threw a bunch of buddies
and threw him on the picture andhe went for it right And he started
off by drawn mine and did acouple other ones and it worked out super
(31:11):
good. So yeah, it looksit looks super cool. So yeah,
it's kind of got you just throwus something different. Well, I think
I'm gonna do it. Looks likeyou're in a sweater jean jacket. Bro,
come on, yeah, it lookedlike you're rude a sweater dude.
(31:33):
That's okay, all right, butwe're gonna play it here. Look you're
okay taking dog here, bad badto hear that had hurt you hit taking
(31:57):

about how good we got it,even the Monday's ruling in. Get the
boys on the line, line upa good time and do last night all
over again. Really, guys bothcry getting out. We know it is

Men and the Stars is up thereputting on the show. Little shout of
to get your hunch proof loos andlike that spirit in your then you take
it in. Now your dancing, though there ain't no sweet sound in the
back room church where Montage turned thedirt in the holy ground, real living
(33:12):

Something is right. We're really loud. Then a mighty guy spook quiet
(33:51):

(34:30):

I dropped my iPad in the middleof that new cold fruit you love it
Cold fruit concentrate. Just mix somewater and dice for taste. That's smooth.
Wow. All right. So,um, you know, working these
(34:57):
things sometimes, oh it's a painy ass stop all right. So,
um, I really like that one. That one was that was really cool.
Um. It just kind of remindsme the whole you know, get
everybody together, let's have some drinks, some pops whatever, let's have a
good time. Um. In fact, Robert White, who is my friend
(35:19):
Oliver in Australia, says, greattune. He loves that. Um right
there so you can see it.Um. So Robert tends to to uh,
he's one of our funny guys onhere. He comes in all the
time, makes a lot of jokesand stuff. But sincere guy. And
if he likes your song, Iknow, I know he does, you
know, So there you go.John Yarrow, Steve Beck, Oh my
(35:45):
god, there's fish. Fish usedto work the door at Nashville's too the
big guy. Oh yeah, yeah, yo, So that's nice to see
on their fish. So if Ican get this to work, right,
um there is. Let me see. I can't get this to work.
Um, I think next up,that's the same one. Why did it
(36:15):
do that? Then get back here? Oh there we go. I wanted
to play. I wanted to playthe one that I really like. So
we're gonna talk about come find me. So you said this is a couple
of years old though, right, yeah, I wrote it in uh two
thousand and seventeen, I think, okay, and we cut it. No,
(36:37):
no, we wrote it in Mayof twenty and eighteen. We cut
it in August and then released itin November. And uh we released it
the same day of a huge showat the Ralph Wilson Field House UM in
Buffalo with Devin Dawson. And uh, yeah, it's just for some reason,
(36:58):
man, the song is just hasn'tdied everybody, What were you thinking
of when you wrote it? Iactually wrote it with Emily Landis and Brandon
Ray, who are two amazing songwritershere in Nashville. Brandon's an incredible artist,
incredible singer. Um, and Ihad just come back from a trip
(37:22):
to Deston, Florida, and hadto write that very next day with those
two and I mean we started writinga song about a little small town kind
of vibe and I was still inmy like beach mindset, and um,
yeah, I just couldn't couldn't cometo terms with not writing a beach town
(37:45):
song that day and had the titlecome find Me where It's just like there
was a text on my phone froma next girlfriend at the time that was
like, you know, I wishyou were still here in Florida, um
with the family, And I waslike, yeah, same, Um,
as soon as you get back,I'll be like wherever. Just come find
(38:06):
me or whatever she said, comefind me. She texted me and said
come find me. And I justtook it and ran and I brought him
to the room. And it's basicallyjust a little song about a beach town
guy that's kind of not meant togo anywhere else other than on the samee
and um, the person, Imean, the person he loves ends up,
(38:28):
you know, going to the bigcity to chase a dream, and
he kind of you know, let'syou know, like, hey, you
can go do all that stuff. And if you know, if it doesn't
work out, just from I lovethe song, so I thank you.
I'm gonna play it. Hon's good. Well y'all listen with that little bitty
(39:00):

stomping ground to you up the man, it was me, it was your

idea of what tongue tight is about. Dude, that's old, man.
You can't be playing that. Ican't be playing that, no way.
You gotta play like to know aboutthat. Well enough, come on,
keep up at the time. I'msorry, brother, all right, so
let me see you gout. ButI will tell you that was an old
(43:34):
That was an old song that wewrote with Steven Musso, who's one of
the who's the original bass player forthe band. Miss that dude doingly on
stage for sure. But I'm notdoing a lot to you, man,
I have no idea what we wroteit about. Okay, We're just kind
of going after a good hard rocksong that kind of blended a little bit
(43:55):
of a country lyrics. So itwas it was a it's an old one.
But were you to open up ourset with that, it was fun.
Oh so you're saying I shouldn't playit. I agree, Yeah,
okay, I won't play it.Uh let's see how about do you want
to How old is that one? That's old too? That was actually one
of the first tunes that are herein Nashville and one of the first tunes
(44:19):
that we got cut and recorded arereleased it back in twenty sixteen. I
think, yeah, you got acouple on here, though I don't um
this is latest from Eric well enough, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's
that's awful. Yeah, that one'sall part of the new releases and stuff.
(44:42):
Okay, so I can play theseOh yeah, okay, Well we're
going to know about that then,So that's you're gonna go too, So
we're gonna play it. I'm tryingto keep up here, guys. I'm
trying, you know. H Oh, we don't need to Bud White and
(45:04):
commercial. Oh no, it's alittle sponsor ad that's all crack hooking summer
with the Yeah wait till that's overthere. He goes get the ad and
blurs, oh, stop in storesnow, yeah, in stores now there
(45:29):
we go down because I got amove back, heartbreaking taking me he's getting
crowded. I needed to rady beautIf you're down, you get taking me
(45:55):

lights, seeing your time day youby midnight midnight, I was making you
out, dare to more bastarsh onyour spin and then she's hanging on your
(46:17):
lids. Y'all me on you thisbad? What you know about that?
To me? Let's get out leave, let you get high on the five
(46:38):
and row you slow to the tipon the pladies. You want to stand
on out chasing on lights, seeingon time, dame, you know bout
midnight midnight making your life dare tomore bastares on your skin and the kiss
(47:00):

(47:24):
This is it? I sting onlike chasing im skinning your time day
which you know about me's been nightbinging in my more bastar sessing on your
skin and the kiss hanging I godown like me want you this bad?
(47:51):
What you know about that? Downright? Me? Want you this bad?
What you know about that? Wow? That's really cool. I like that
(48:19):
one. That's the new stuff.Man. You gotta keep you gotta keep
up with it. I will,I will, I promise, I promise.
Yeah, I really like that onethough. That one's really cool.
You know who was it up here? Uh, gotta go back. So
(48:40):
we got a request. I loveit, so so if we're gonna play
it, why don't you tell mewhat it's about a little bit? Ah.
So this is actually the first songever that I recorded that I didn't
write. Um. It is writtenby Andy Albert, Dave Pitt and jer
(49:01):
and Michael Whitworth. Threw are threeguys in Nashville, amazing songwriters. Both
all of them have good, youknow, good cuts with big artists and
great great writers and even better people. And it was kind of the perfect
song for me at the perfect time. And we were in the middle of
trying to find songs appropriate to cutanyway that I've written, and then I
(49:24):
wrote you know that I wrote withwith Dave, my producer at the time,
and then a few other folks, and we just kind of hit this
wall of like not knowing what songwould fit or what we should do.
And one random night we had agood long conversation in the studio and then
(49:45):
when I went home he sent methe demo for this song was like,
man, this this might be somethingyou should consider cutting, and it just
felt right awesome, awesome. Howmany songs have you been given though from
other writers. Uh yeah, Imean plenty, But at this point,
um, right now, we're kindof focusing on all the stuff that I've
(50:07):
written, yeah, and all thestuff that we've written together with Chris and
our producer and a few other folks, and um, you know, I
have a good team around me,my buddy Heath Warren and uh and the
crew Brendan Cooney and Rob Grimaldi. They're all guys that I write with on
the regular, almost at least onceor twice a week with one of those
(50:28):
guys. And we just kind ofgot a good little team kind of forming
that we all get each other inthe right room, we just put the
put the foot on the gas anddon't stop, you know. So,
Eric, how long does it takeyou? Um man? I mean it's
such a toss up, but usuallywe're doing uh it's like, well,
(50:50):
you know, wake up at tenthirty in the morning and then uh go
to go into a right room atabout eleven, um, still hung over
probably from the night before, anduh, you know, someone comes out
with the title and spits it outand we just created concept around it.
And usually usually by the time threeo'clock rolls around we're already done with the
song. So, um, therewas a week. There was a week
(51:12):
where I wrote I think it waslike nine songs and in five days.
Holy yeah, I had to.I had two of days, Like on
Monday, I had two rights,Tuesday had two rights. Wednesday I think
we did three that day. Andyeah, that's very exactly. Um,
(51:36):
although, like the creative process doesget monotonous after a while, so I
think you have to just find thatgood balance, you know. Um,
maybe after he plays well enough,I'll grab the guitar. We'll see it's
pretty. It's late here too.I don't know how you guess they're all
still up right now. I loveI love it though, I love yeah.
(52:00):
Cool, Well, you still gotfans out here, man, we
still love you here, So youknow, a lot of hope because I'm
not so yeah, I hope noteither, because you know you're awesome dude.
All right, we're gonna play wellenough. Oh I hate that damn
commercial. Hurry up. Well, the answer Catherine's question. We we do.
(52:25):
We do right our own, butsometimes they get pitched. There you
go. I'm just getting back onMatthew. Miss missing ain't letting damn ha
(52:53):
asch as I make it, seeingthe house stide, I'm crying under me.
I'm only ain't you by flot ain'tNo, I'm trying to be so
if you're thinking about calling me,don't. If you're trying to come over,
(53:15):
girl, don't you thinking by sayingthings you know can't say? Non't
you just don't? You don't hateme, but don't show up? But
the bot sing you calling you overand forgive me, but pass you down?
Rust did not pretend I didn't seea thing? Do you gotta understand?
(53:37):
If I don't get win, it'shand passed one in your life?
Love my heart, I'm doing wellenough, so maybe can't you just eve
enough alone? He wants to bothof us back together, no matter how
(54:01):
hard it trying, how heart itfights, it's how my still knows better.
So don't hate me. I don'tshow up with the barbers, and
you will call you over the day. If you give me the pass,
you will trust that I didn't seeanything. Do you gotta don stand if
(54:22):
I don't begger when it's half pastone? In your life? Enough my
own? I do well enough? So baby, can't you just leave well
enough? So if you'll by madnessme. Don't if you're losing sleep over
(54:52):
me, don't if you're hoping thatthis will be only throws you and me
calling back into things where the oneso don't hate, don't show the bars
and you call forgive me the passulatehaving to do that, but I didn't
(55:13):
see anything good. You gotta stand. I don't half pass. I'm not
a baby. Can't just Steve awesome. Yeah, I think that's got um
(55:53):
like a Florida Georgia Linfield and me. To be honest with you, it's
pretty cool. Yeah, I'll takeit. They're pretty, they're pretty successful.
Yeah, I I that's what Iheard. I was like, that's
pretty, that's cool. But that'sit does fit you though. I think
it's your style, you know,I think it makes it too well,
(56:14):
you know. Yeah, we've we'vehad some good success though, and all
all all three of the newer releaseshave over you know, like a couple
hundred thousand streams and stuff. Soit's been good. Yeah. Now is
that harder than your thought? Youknow, doing you know all this,
I mean you went through a lotanyways with with doing all this yourself,
trying to get someone to pay attentionand and your music and stuff like that.
(56:36):
But we're not even close to beingdone yet. But yeah, I
know it's um, I feel likeeverything that you kind of want is hard
to do, right, Like, everything that you actually want to do is
is pretty hard, whether it's rightstarted business or you know, being an
(56:57):
actor, being actress, being seeEobi, a musician, rock star,
or whatever you wanna call it,a songwriter. Um So I don't think
I don't know if it's fair tosay it's hard. I think it's Uh,
there's challenges and things that happen alongthe way all the time, and
I think it's just um how youkind of grind through that and figure out
(57:22):
a way to combat any kind ofadversity with you know, using the music
to empower that scenario, or youknow, maybe even taking a step back
from whatever you were trying, whateverdoor you were trying to knock on,
and just go find a different one, you know, right in the same
industry. Obviously, I'm not sayinggive up and move on. I'm saying,
(57:45):
like, Okay, so these peopledon't give a shit of all the
music, that's fine, Let's moveon to the next one. Because you
know, he's got a different opinion. Everyone's got a different thoughts. So
it's kind of one of those thingswhere it's like, you know, we
we as artists are always have toadapt. And you know, I've always
heard statements from people about you know, the Keith Urban stuff and how his
(58:07):
records are so different from you know, the two thousand and four Golden Road
record all the way through you know, to his latest record, and yeah,
I mean it's you know, itwent from two thousand and two to
twenty and twenty. Of course themusic is going to be different. It's
eighteen years, you know what Imean. It's uh, yeah, you
got time, and you gotta adaptas an artist to what's current will also
(58:30):
staying true yourself. And as longas you do that, which there's no
doubt that, you know, artistslike Keith Urban, even Blake Shelton have
done that. They've been able tomaintain their level of identity well also adapting
to what's very current popular. Um, and it's gonna sell because I mean,
(58:51):
at the end of the day, they're adhering to their fans, and
a lot of their fans are,you know, They're they're changing with the
times just as much as we are. So um, it's definitely hard.
It's not easy. It's not easyfor ro Oute or else. Everybody would
be famous and successful and it wasa great songwriter or a great musician.
You gotta work for it, ofcourse, but right right, Um,
(59:12):
well, I think it stuff fitson the radio. I mean it all
sounds new. It sounds, youknow, like the stuff that's out there.
I mean in that. Yeah,we're we're having a lot of fun
with making new stuff and and youknow, writing new tunes, and it's
just been good. How much doyou miss home? Um? I don't
(59:36):
miss the cold at all, butyeah, I mean I miss I missed
the tham for sure. Always wehave such a good close family that you
know, my brother and fell uphere, right dad, Mom? Yea,
literally my whole family is up there. Um. I have a cousin
or two scattered across the states, but for the most part, everybody's up
in Buffalo. So um, it'scool to get back, but always always
(01:00:01):
tough to leave a place like Nashvilleor leave the road. Yeah right,
And but Nashville's got so much upthere, um to see. But there's
all those other outlying towns um orno eks if that's what you want to
call them, Hendersonville, Goodletsville, all that stuff, you know, just
to visit. It's you know,I lived in actually in Goodletsville for a
(01:00:23):
short period of time, you know, and I loved it was beautiful out
there. Yeah yeah, yeah,I missed showis I can't say that I've
gone. I've seen the signs, but I've never been there. You go,
there, you go. So whatelse new can I put on here?
Because I'm seeing one where it lookslike you're playing live? Well know,
(01:00:49):
yeah, yeah, there's a there'sa recorded version of that if you
go on like the actual page,it should be out there all right.
It kind of just has the albumcover on it or like the record cover
or the single car Okay, yeah, there's a couple of live ones of
that on here. What do youthink about Charlie Daniels Man, that's a
(01:01:14):
that's sad man, it is itis, But hell, I'd take eighty
three. Yeah, yeah, Imean that's a That dude's a legend right
there. And I guess that's whatyou give. You smoke weed and drink
beer a lot and play the fiddle, you get a hell of a career.
(01:01:34):
You get a hell of a career. You get career, and you
know you have a bunch of peoplethat, um, I absolutely love you
and are very sad at what happenedyesterday for sure. Right, what about
this song? Turn on the mic? How old is this one? I
don't remember that? Okay, Idon't think that's me either. Oh it's
(01:02:00):

should pop up all right a littlemy microphone, see if there's anyone asking
me. Yeah, you guys areall just having a lovely conversation. I
(01:02:25):

said that he's been drinking all day. Tom was getting after it. I
like it. That's awesome. Yeah, yeah, I want to say,
(01:02:50):
yes there is I did find itall right? Cool, we can do
that, So, guys, I'mgonna pop this up here again while the
song is planned, so that youguys can go check out his music you

your music, your songs or anythinglike that. Yeah. Yeah,
we have a ton of emerging stuffn'tthere too? Yeah, we're all over

can you can access it. Awesome, awesome. Okay, well we're gonna

tune man, you know John boyYeah, uh. Chanel. When we
were talking about Charlie Daniels. Umshe put up here. Let me get
back to it here. Um conary. Twitter also sent flowers to his funeral.
(01:10:46):
My grandfather knew a lot of legendsof country. That's cool. That's
really cool. I love. Yeah, it was a sad day yesterday for
country music. Oh yes, ohyes, so um grand old Operate.
Yeah, great place. Have youvisited yet? Have you? I've been
there for so long. Yeah, you got down stage and played yet.
(01:11:12):
I haven't done any of that yet, but I've definitely been there. Um.
Bob told myself I wouldn't do anyof like visiting tours and stay on
the stage until I get to playit. We got to play the rhyme
and touring back in two thousand andfifteen, I think it was UM and
we got to UM. We werein a competition and ended up playing uh
(01:11:38):
playing at the rhyme and we gotto do two songs in the competition and
it was a lot of fun.It was definitely a surreal moment for sure.
I was I was like five orsix years ago. That's awesome,
that's awesome. Yeah. I mytrip to Nashville. I didn't get to
see much, but it's a bigplace. Man, it's a big place.
There's a lot there to see.And yeah, so there's two there's
(01:12:00):
the Grand Opry and then the Rhymeand yeah they're great. I was at
the Nashville Hotel a couple of times, um, and they had that was
nice. They had a nice youknow, they had people to come in
why you eat dinner and played andand stuff like that. You know,
it was kind of cool. Youknow, something that I think Rochester needs,
you know, So do you whatdo you miss about up here though?
(01:12:25):
With playing? Do you miss anythingup here? Playing? I mean
we get we get up there atleast a couple of times a year,
which is good. So usually usuallywe get to get our fix in uh
at some point during the year toplay a show up in the Northeast.
So well, I hope I getto I hope I get to find out
when you're going to be close sothat I can come up and check it
(01:12:46):
out. And um, and we'lltell everybody here too, in the in
the chat rooms and stuff, andthey'll know where to look you up.
And uh, of course they canalways go to your website, but to
come and check out you live, because I know what that's like. Um,
I'm interested in hearing. Yeah, the new band live as well,
you know. Um yeah, it'sbeen it's been really fun to kind of
(01:13:09):
piece that together and everybody get dialedin and um, you know, we
felt coming with this year it wasgonna be strong. Obviously everybody's world got
rocked. But right you know,we're still dialing in, so it'll be
good. It'll be good to bounceback and get back to playing shows here
soon hopefully, probably not before theend of the year. I'm guessing we
might have a couple but um yeah, nothing, nothing that we're used to.
(01:13:32):
When we get to just you know, scream to the fans and little
the other thing. You know.So with everybody you've opened up for and
worked with or shared the stage with, who do you really like doing it
with. I'm not sure there's abad artist in country music to play with.
Everybody's just great dialed in. Theyjust want the fans to have a
(01:13:53):
good time. That's kind of theidea, you know. I mean,
it's turned into such a party genenough for sure that it's allowed people to
kind of break free from whatever they'reliving. So it's cool to see,
you know, it's cool to seethat and every time we get taken out
on the road or or get placedon the show. But for somebody,
(01:14:14):
I think we've ever experienced a badscenario. Um, you know, love
kicking it with their brothers and Osborneguys. They're they're rock hard on stage
and I love their show, soit's always good to catch them live whenever
we get to tour with them orend up on the same festival or something.
So that's good, right, Umno, what wasn't there a band
called Cadillac Three? I think right? Oh yeah, yeah, I mean
(01:14:38):
they're still very much alive and willum yeah, I love those guys.
They've become good friends and um theyyeah. I mean their their live show
is unbelievably rock and roll, punchyou in the mouth kind of style,
and that kind of suits it.Whenever we get to open up for them,
(01:15:00):
it always always works out a well. I like this whole, like
all the new artists are coming inand some of the older ones are you
know, you hear from what theyou know Once in a while, like
on their Twitter, they'll say, hey, you know, check this new
guy out, check this new girlout, whatever, And it really seems
like the older artists that people havebeen around for a long time. The
legends are really pushing as well forthe new artists, which I think is
(01:15:26):
great. Well, I mean, yeah, you got you gotta grow,
you gotta grow the genre, andyou gotta kind of, you know,
keep it. I think I saidbefore, you gotta keep it current and
keep it keep the fan base intriguedwith whatever's coming up and who's coming out
next, and whatever band's coming outnext, and um, yeah, that's
some family in the house. Yeah, I know, it's it's been good.
(01:15:50):
Um yeah, it's been a goodthing to see. You know,
every generation of the artists kind oftaking the younger cats another wings, and
I think that's what keeps it trendgoing of wanting to do that. Well,
someday you're going to be a legend, you know, I would love
nothing more. Man. Hopefully, hopefully you're going to get some good advice
(01:16:14):
to the younger ones coming up afteryou. Yeah, we've been we've been
grinding to kind of make that thingstart to take shape. So we're excited
to see that. You know.Somehow, I love that. Um,
you still sound very much down homeand all that stuff. You've been doing
this for a while and you know, there's a lot of people behind you
here at home, and UM,it's always good that with some of us
(01:16:39):
older guys or guys that have beenhere in our own hometown is playing that
we get to keep up with youguys, you know, with the guys
that get to Nashville and start makinga drive for themselves. UM. It's
like some of the older I shouldn'tsay older, some of the experienced musicians
out here, like Josie Way reallyand some of the local bands like West
(01:17:02):
of the Mark or Double Cross orwhatever, they're still doing the same old
thing that they've always done. They'restill pushing. Um. A lot of
the local bands are still pushing fortheir own thing, but very supportive of
artists like you you know, um, yeah, getting their blessings. You
(01:17:24):
know, definitely got a lot ofsupport from local you know, the local
legends, if you will, um, that have been playing for ten plus
years in town and kind of helpedme get a little spark out of there
and out of Buffalo. And it'sbeen really good, right right, And
I think in every small town, whether it be Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse,
(01:17:46):
wherever. I mean, we sawit with the tour where we went
from all these different cities and playedthat. When you have people that have
been doing it for ten, fifteen, twenty years, it's nice to see
the supporting the younger groups or theyounger bands or the younger artists and stuff
like that. That kind of helpspush them towards Nashville. You know.
They're they're kind of the the startfor it all for all of us.
(01:18:11):
And some of these roads were paidfor me even when I got into it.
You know. So Eric's got avisitor apparently. Grab Ah, that's
cool. That's cool. Yeah,No, it's um, it's it's great
to see all that. And likeI said, you know, I mean,
(01:18:33):
gosh, there's a lot of folks, the Scott Mittel, Chris Kramer,
they're they're been in the heritage.Took care of me really well,
um, seizing me up a littlebit, and then uh, they got
me hooked on the original music andlike just put it down their throat.
Um, and it's tough with theidea. Yeah, they got me hooked
(01:18:56):
on local clubs. Yeah, theygot me hooked on that idea, just
like you gotta you gotta shove yourown music down or throw whether they like
it or not. At some pointit'll click and if it's not with that
crowd, maybe the next one.Like you just gotta keep doing it.
And you know the West of theMark qum he uh, I mean he
just knows how to knows how towork a crowd, knows how to entertain.
(01:19:18):
They both did, they all do. I mean, it's you know,
it's so funny seeing that and growingup and in that environment where it's
you know, we're in Buffalo andpeople don't really comprehend that everybody up there
loves country music and um, youknow, everyone's different, everyone's got thrown
style, everybody plays different. Soto even try and compare any any of
(01:19:42):
the bands up there, any ofthe local bands that you guys compared to
West of the Mark or Weston Marketcompared to you know, the non us
or I mean, there's the listgoes on the right. Was just too
many of the name that I've gota chance to open up for and play
with. And and now whenever wecome up there, you know, they
allow us to be the headliner, which is insane to think about, but
(01:20:04):
um, you know that's the goal, right, I mean, as a
young artist that's really trying to pushdown here in Nashville. You want to
be you want to be the openeruntil the opener or until the headliner opens
for you. And that's just theway it's, like you it's not a
competition. It's just that I don'tsee, ye don't. I just don't
(01:20:24):
see my career having a ceiling andmy music having a ceiling. And I
you know, I'm hoping that whenI'm eighty four years old or eighty three
years old, I'm still playing musicuntil literally the last breath. So um,
it's for me. I don't thinkit's I think locally though, Eric,
(01:20:45):
I mean, that's the way itis. It's like, you know,
we we sit here and we playthis, you know, play the
clubs over and over and over. When a younger artist comes in and they
look up to us at a certainpoint, it's our job to help them
for their career, no matter wherethey want to go. And if they
happen to get into Nashville and getpicked up or you know whatever, cut
(01:21:05):
a record however you want to putit. To have that artist come back
and to play with us on stage, who gives a shit whether they're headliner
or not. I mean, Iwould prefer if they've done that all that
that long hard road, you know, getting down there and doing what they're
doing. I'd rather than be theheadliner, you know, I'd rather them,
(01:21:26):
Hey, come home, play yourshow and show us. You know
that everything that we we we wereable to help you with or show you
with, or even just for localartists or whatever road we've paved, we've
hoped that it's helped mold I guessthe best way. You know, all
these other younger artists, you know, and for me, I shit,
(01:21:49):
I'd let you come in headline anyshow I was involved in. It wouldn't
matter. I'd just be nice tosee you, you know. Yeah,
yeah, no, I love it. It's um across the board, which
is crazy, you know, itfeels good and I um, I don't
know. You know, you workhard through a lot of things, and
(01:22:10):
when they start paying off things thatyou know, you appreciate it for a
second, especially this saysty but yougotta turn around and just go chase the
next goal. So um, well, I just hope that it keeps going
for you. Man. You said, you know there's no ceiling for you,
and I you to me since theday I met you, and I
saw you perform. I thought youhad a fantastic talent. I thought that
(01:22:33):
you needed to be out there anddoing what you're doing. Um I've always
supported you in that way, andI will always be here for you no
matter what. And um, Ijust want you to blow the roof off
the places. Man. I wantyou to keep doing it, keep doing
it. By the time maybe five, I can say, hey, I
(01:22:55):
know that, kid, I loveit, you know, I mean,
that's awesome. It's been a longroad for a lot of people, and
with the COVID thing, and youknow, no artists working right now other
than writing, you know. LikeI said in the beginning of the show,
I mean, yeah, maybe maybewhat'll happen is we'll get some really
(01:23:17):
good music out of all these newartists, you know, and we'll flood
the flood the country charts. Andyou know, they want to doubt it
at all, And you know,I know that the big man upstairs kind
of has everybody's back through all this, and that's that's really all the matters.
So it's good to, uh,it's good to kind of get a
reset and get a break. It'sbeen a bit longer than all of us
(01:23:38):
wish but right, you know, there's also a lot of good that comes
out of something like this and youjust kind of find it, you know.
You know, I I I retiredtwo years ago from music, and
I can't believe it's been two years. But the guys have always stayed in
touch, and they're always like, hey, let's jam, let's go do
(01:23:58):
something. We did a show ayear ago and had a blasts just like
a remembrance thing. You know.It was a lot of fun. And
h I'm hoping that I get todo one more with the guys, you
know, and I really hope thatthe future will keep things great for you
as well, and we'll keep pushingforward. And because I would like to
(01:24:21):
see you on the you know,CMT man, Yeah, we're looking forward
to that someday for sure. Youknow, no limit man kid getting the
ass, you know. So itwe got about six minutes and then we're
gonna get out of here. ButUM, do me a favorite. Like
you said, you're on all thesocial media, so you're like on YouTube
(01:24:44):
or your YouTube stuff of course, but um, Twitter, Instagram, all
that stuff. Facebook. We know, is there anything else that you'd like
to include? I mean in there, Um, no, man, I
mean that's kind of that's the bestway to get in touch. I mean,
like I said, I run everythingso um on the music dot com.
(01:25:09):
My mom actually remembers you, andshe wanted to stay up and do
this with me tonight, but shehasn't been doing so well. My folks
aren't doing too well. So Itold her I would tell you high from
my mother who saw you at theyou know, at the tour um and
she save your kids, Yeah, she said, love your kid keep going.
Um. I know that my familyhere, like Cassie and all those
(01:25:32):
guys, they've been following you rightalong and they love you too. And
there's a lot of people locally outof Rochester that follow you as well as
your family and Buffalo and your friendsand Buffalo. Um, you got a
lot of people supporting you, man, And uh, just keep just keep
doing it. That's all I cansay. You know, I'm grateful for
that, and it's it's been, you know, a huge driving force to
(01:25:54):
being down here and putting in thework. So yeah, well, you
know, I've been looking forward tothis, you know, interview with you
for a while and I just Iwanted to be able to see you and
see how you were doing and andcheck out on you. Um kind of
like family man, you know. It's uh oh, I know definitely CMT
(01:26:16):
you all your music there you go. So it's oh yeah, it's coming.
So well, we are going tokeep promoting you no matter what.
And um, your music's now outthere on our stuff. We'll keep pushing
it for you here as much aswe can and uh, supporting you.
I mean, that's that's all wecan do here, you know. Um,
(01:26:41):
I guess that's it. I don'tknow what else to say. Yeah,
I appreciate it. I appreciate havingme, and appreciate everybody for chiming
in and student tuning in with usand hanging out for for a bid a
couple of drinks or whatever, andjust uh, well they were drinking.
You know, I had I butyou know, those guys were drinking the
good stuff, you know. Sobut I'm glad they had a good time,
(01:27:02):
right, you know, that's whatit's all about. It. So,
so you're gonna do some more drinkingtunes. You're gonna write some more
drinking tunes. We got we gota couple of we got a couple of
them in the wheel house there allright. We just said we just actually

had some really good videos with him. Um check out my favorite song,
Uh, come find me that ismine that I'm pushing. I love that
song. There's a there's a musicvideo out for that too. Yeah,
and that's the one that Eric can'tunderstand why it's still going on and people
still like it. But it's agood tune and that's why. Well,
(01:28:10):
no, I mean, I lovethat just it's just crazy to me and
they're still going Tom was definitely drinking. If he's denying it, pretty obvious
he is. That's awesome. Well, it was good to see it.
Yeah, thanks again, Eric, and I hope Dad's good. I messaged
(01:28:31):
