The Tejon Street Corner Thieves
hail from the Colorado Rockies. The outlaw blues and trash-grass pioneers forged their original brand of whiskey roots from the ground up. Honing their craft on the streets, they swiftly gained recognition from the music community with the 2015 Gazette “Best of the Springs” award, 2017 Pikes Peak Art Council “Best In Show”, and 2018 Colorado Springs Independent “Best Original Band”.
As a nationally touring act, the band has become notorious for their shenanigans and over the top live performance. TSCT’s consistent show schedule and heart filled showmanship has captured the hearts of show goers everywhere. These guys are wild.

chuck a lah. All right,so everybody we are here, special special
episode for me tonight because you guysall know Liz she's got the new show
on w LFE called Roots Bleed Redand she is going to be kind of
my little co host tonight. Butthis is all her fault that this is
happening, and you know it's allit's all her fault. So, uh,

(01:15):
the gentleman that you see above her, Um, why don't you introduce
the listsens this is your product,or this is your fault. Why don't
you introduce the guys this is yourfault? Well, actually I was gonna
have them introduced themselves. But theseguys are the wait okay, this way
the street corner things, yep,and they are bad at ask my friend

(01:38):
Tara showed them to be and Iended up getting absolutely obsessed with their music,
and actually I think I would likethem to introduce themselves a little bit
better, to be honest. Well, that's up to you, guys.
Go for it, so names andthen then I'm going to hit you with
questions after that. So I'm calmer. I play the band Joe and do

(02:01):
a lot of the behind the scenesthat in the band. You're the worker,
He's the worker Bee. I'm Sean. I play guitar, and uh,
that's what I do. You singa lot though, both of you
correct, Yeah, yeah, whichone is actually the main vocalist though it's

(02:24):
Sean right, Yeah. Yeah.We sch on some songs, but all
the hits that's this guy. No, that's cool. Um. I did
watch a couple of your videos.I thought they were really cool, interesting
music. By the way, Um, I I come from um gospel blues

(02:44):
and country, and but I lovelike ac DC is multime favorite like rock
band of all time. Um,I'm obsessed um with them pretty much.
Um, but I like stuff thatis different and stuff that doesn't kind to
kind of like fall to like thenorm. And when Liz was telling me

(03:07):
about you guys, and she mademe listen to what what song was it?
Liz? Do you remember which oneit was that you made me listen
to? Whisk Yeah, Whisking fortyfour, I think, And I don't
know if you, So I justkept listening. I'm like, you know

(03:27):
what, I'm getting kind of usedto these guys. I like this,
this is this is a kind ofdifferent feel, it's fun, it's uh
yeah, I like it, soI'm and then she's like, oh,
man, wouldn't it be cool ifyou guys could get him on the show.
And I'm like, uh, letme see what I can do.
So while she's making her little wishlist down there, I'm kind of like
messaging you guys in the background, going hey, would you guys be interested?

(03:49):
And she's like, going away, how much she loves you guys,
And I'm like, uh hey, they responded, what, oh my god,
what I'm like, uh, yeahthey did, and they said they'd
be interested. Oh my god, just like I thought she was gonna like
smell up her seat or something.I mean, it was sorry that came

(04:12):
out of my mouth. I don'tknow why. Now I think I should
mention something that's kind of interesting.I'm a giant metal it yeah. Yeah.
I come from getting into the punkat a young age, like going
into like more of the harder punkscene that transferred into those those likes mix

(04:38):
genres that were like punk and metal, and then going string in the metal.
I have Slayer tattoos across my back, I got dining back Darrel on
my arm. And my friend Tarashows me you guys, and I'm like,
yeah, these guys are awesome. And here I am driving my mother

(04:59):
in law around one day and Iwas like, you're gonna listen to these
guys? Oh yeah, yeah,I just bought two records on mine all
they oesterday, so oh no kidding, Wow, that's cool as shit.
I uh, um, so thisis this is like I said, this
is her fault, but we're gonnahave fun with this. And um,

(05:23):
when I told her we're gonna haveyou on and stuff and I pretty much
said, well, you're you're thebig fan here, so we're gonna make
sure that you're part of the uhthe uh you know, co hosting situation.
So, um so why don't youguys, why don't you guys give
me an idea of like individually first, like, um, where did the
music come from? In you guys? I mean, is it something you've

(05:45):
always been interested as a kid oryou know, did you play like that
dorky you know band thing like youknow in high school? Did you you
know, what's how did this happenfor me? My My grandfather was he
was in the Air Force band,he played with he played trumpet with Glenn
Miller with the Glen Miller orchestral nokidding age at a young age. He

(06:06):
just still, that's awesome. That'sfreaking awesome. Though, let's say you
couldn't get any bigger back then.Yeah yeah he did it. Yeah yeah,
yeah, similar. I guess minecame from my grandpa in a lot
of ways. Um and I still, I mean, I don't know our

(06:29):
style it such that, like wedon't know very much music theory or anything
like that, So it's I don'tknow, Can I tell you a secret.
Can I tell you a secret?UM? The majority of some of
the best and well known musicians inthe world have no idea what music theory
is. UM. I toured witha band for almost twenty years on the

(06:53):
East Coast. I came from musicUM. I played in a band that
was number one in my area foralmost fifteen years, and UM did Nashville
Cut Records, did the whole thing, toured UM and retired two years ago
from it and never never hadn't knowanything about music theory. I was the

(07:15):
front man. Of course I wasthe singer UM. But it's honestly,
when when music is in your soul, it's in your soul man, and
and you really don't need your theoryor anything else. You just need to
get out there and and do whatyou're doing. Yeah, you know,
it's always like I mean, well, we're still learning obviously, and we

(07:38):
do pick up bits here and there, you know, wild further than when
we started. But it's nice havingroom to grow like that. I think
there's a band, well, youknow, I've I've I've been you know,
looking at your page and this andthat and talking with people, and
you have a pretty good following.Man. I mean, the people that
like your music, they're dedicated toyou, which I think is fantastic.

(08:03):
That's what that's what you need, you know, that's what makes you break
you as the people that follow youand support you. It's it's it's easy
with our fans too, because likejust as a fan, we started literally
from the ground up, like playingon street corners, right, and so
it's it's in the name Tajane Streetcorner with you is it's a confident mind

(08:24):
or like no matter how big weget or whatever, like we still are
humbled by Like we have homies thathave you know, been fans and been
supporting us as the beginning, right, I don't you know, it's okay,
So when was the beginning? I'msorry to cut you off, but
when was the beginning? Two thousandyears? Yeah, well wow, that's

(08:46):
beautiful. Yeah, Connor just uhhe just moved back from New Orleans.
Uh, there's some tragic things. And I went through the same bigs year
before that when I just started playingmusic getting romp together. I love it,
Sean, because behind you there's thisbig to me, it's a pink
shadow on one side and the blueshadow on the other. That's freaking awesome.

(09:09):
Do the whole like you what arethe finger puppets or shadow puppets and
let's see look at that. Ilove this stuff. Yeah, yeah,
it's pretty cool. And I lovethe skull above your head too. Oh
yeah, so that's your that's yourwife. No, my wife's property.

(09:33):
Oh my god, Okay, thanks. I thought it's like, oh my
god, that's my wife and likeI you know, I, oh god,
I found some more sick people likethe rest of us anyways, and
that and it wasn't on purpose,um no, it's it's um. Now,
we have a lot of people that'sshowing up in the chat rooms and
stuff, which is very very cool. So um, and I can't see

(09:54):
the one that the ones that actuallyLiz has going as well. Liz,
you have people right on your otherpages. Yeah, I have it on
Psycho Bunny, Psychomantia. Root's playingred all right. So unfortunately, guys,
I can only see two. Sobut it's still cool. Um.
But we're gonna have questions from them, I guess as well. So,

(10:16):
so you said two thousand and eightwas when it started. You said two
thousand and two, twelve, twelve, Okay, I'm old apparently my brain
isn't working. So you guys, you both say that you got it from
your grandfather. Now I know thatwith Sean you said, you know you
you kind of got it from yourgrandfather as in Jesus the Huge Band of

(10:41):
All Times, I mean real bigband. To be honest with you,
did did you actually want to bethe same thing as him? I mean?
Or did you want to just besomewhere in the music genre? It
was hard when I was growing up. Who would try to like give me
less than than that, like abeing that like to be that like that,

(11:03):
uh right, the big band? And I yeah, I didn't want
that at all, and so thatwas that was the classic thing was like
a lot of years, um,I mean my biggest import with like Ray
charld Oh artists like that and sohe like and he will, yeah like
that kind of music, but notreally do it. But that is what
I just wanted to play. Yeah. Yeah, what about you, Kennor,

(11:26):
I mean, what was what wasit with you? I mean,
was there anything specific? You know? I mean, I And the only
reason I'm getting a little deeper inthis is because people that I've talked to
you before that come from from musicfamilies, UM that have had some type
of influence, there's usually um kindof like, yeah, you guys said

(11:48):
just your grandfather's, but usually there'ssomeone else like a mother or an aunt
or somebody that's sang or or youknow, kind of influenced you in another
direction. So I'm kind of saying, if there was any other directions that
was going on with you guys withmusic, well, if it was just
solely your grandfather's for me, likegrowing up my dad, so my mom

(12:09):
was only child, my dad's gothe's one of five. It was one
of five. Yeah, every familyreunion week go too. They would just
buzzed out in song and start harmonizingstuff. None of them really played like
instruments or saying, my dad playedyou far a little bit, but it
okay, I guess it's instill thatway. Save that. I love that

(12:30):
they were really close knit family, and that was because my mom didn't have
any siblings, you know, sowe were really close with our cousins and
all that. So when did youguys decide that, Like, when did
you guys meet up and how longhave you known each other. We've known
each other since the start of theband based probably actually a couple of months
beforehand. Oh okay, Like Seansaid, I moved back from New Orleans

(12:52):
and I was down there trying toplay, like just bust on Royal Street
or whatever. I actually worked atwaffle House down there, and like araby,
like right outside the nine. Everybodyworked at waffle House at one time,
scattered all the way. But mydad passed away and I ended that
moving back here to take care ofmy mom. And I met John,

(13:16):
who a mutual friend that we hadat the time, and we just kind
of hit it off and we're like. He was working at a hotel at
that time, and they're like, dude, let's go play. I see
his reaction. He's like, ohfuck the hotel. Yeah yeah, yeah,
yeah, you know, always decentenough money playing on the corners that

(13:39):
we could five beer and go fishing. You know, not really, So
what else is there in life?Right? Music, beer and fishing?
I mean, what else is there? So exactly exactly, so you guys
are decided. You just said, okay, well, you know what,
let's let's put a band together,you know, let's get together and write

(14:01):
some stuff. Let's you know, what happened? How did this happen shown
had songs, and then I wasreally dig into like traditional tunes like blue
grass and rack times stuff, andI picked up a long way It's weird,
just busting with those, and thenwe learned, we learned some of
Sean songs, like forty four hehad already written before I even met him,

(14:24):
and uh, yeah, right, and so we cut we you know,
we changed it and made it likehit and everything, and I mean
that was just, yeah, Idon't it's too much fun. We're like
young, and that didn't give ashit. I was living in a chad,
so it didn't fucking matter. Andthen Shahn just moved into the chad
with me. The time music.I lived in a camper for a while,

(14:52):
so I understand. It's you know, it's it's one of those things,
you know, step up from mypathfinder. Oh my god, but
you know what, those are thebest times, and those are the times
you're always gonna remember and you're gonnabe passing on because that's yeah, I
remember when I lived in the shed, and you know, you know,

(15:13):
that's it's it's it's makes a goodbook too. My mom's actually an author,
and he's always saying that's like youneed to write a book because it's
some kind of win wires or somethingbook on my tips for surviving on the
road, because like, I mean, what'sn't that bottle sean jippy? Cool?

(15:39):
I don't miss anything, by theway, No, be sober,
I am unfortunately. Yeah, youdon't have to. It's like, oh,
do whatever you want, man,oh please please please, I don't
want to tempt you or whatever.Oh hell wait wait no, no,

(16:00):
I say, I need to goget another bottle one second. Husband's watching
right now. Can you bring mesome whiskey? Yeah, I'm I'm I
do have I do have these inthe fridge. I just gotta go get
them. So yeah, yeah,it's a it's a typical thing. I

(16:25):
mean we I don't drink a lotwhen I'm doing my show, but I'll
have one or two, you knowwhat I mean. It's it's usually cool,
especially if the guests that I haveare drinking and they like it.
I mean, I don't care.To me, it's more about getting to
know who you guys are and theshow and doesn't bother me either way.
So you could be smoking a jointfor all I care. Yeah. Um,
Colorado, Yeah, well, I'mjust saying, you know, that

(16:48):
stuff doesn't bother me. It's it'snot about it's not about what they're doing.
It's about well, it's about whatyou're doing as I'm the music and
stuff, but it's not really youknow about that other ship. But anyway,
Yeah, Tom, classic classic Tomcomment. There I never drink on
your show. Yes, Tom,we know you never drink. Yeah,

(17:11):
he's already drunk by the time hegets to my show, so he never
has to drink. So this isgonna be kind of relatively the same type
of question, but that I've alreadyasked you. But when did you guys
really know though, Like, wereyou and your teens that this is what
you wanted to do for me?When it really hit um was when I

(17:37):
met a friend of mine named Matt. He's the front man for a band
called Yes Ma'am Young in New Orleans, Okay, and of the original banjo
player for that band, because welived in Denver together, and like that's
when it was like, holy shit, like I'm having so much fun with
this dude. I'm having so muchfun playing music, Like we were doing
the same thing, just playing onthe speed up in Denver. And six

(17:57):
Street. Mall. Oh, that'swhen I quit my job. That's where
I fucking moved out of my house, left to San Francisco, and just
like you know, slept him upBush for a little while. What is
it? What is it with youand Chads and Bush? You know you
got everything before, so I guessFarley. Yeah, Chris Farley, let

(18:27):
you go a van down by theriver. Yeah, I got it.
I got it. So I'm justgonna say I'm just gonna do a quick
shout out over here on this lastparty. Over here, say hello to
Tabitha and Cindy and Pam, Jacob, um Lord and Samantha and Tammy and
then over here, of course wegot Tom, Nalie, Kelly, James

(18:48):
and Frank and is there anybody else? I'm touching my screen like it's a
touch screen. It's not a touchscreen, Ted, Jesus want to touch screen
ones not? You know how thatgoes. But I'm listening and walking home.
Well that's cool, thanks James. We do appreciate that walking and listening.

(19:10):
Um no, no, We're gonnasay a team. Well, actually,
did you answer that, Sean orwas it just kind of the answer.
Yeah, I love Jeff Connor,Um, do you want to answer
that question? I mean, Idon't want to like bump over top of
or nothing. I mean, yeah, I think, uh, I don't
know. I would do my team, but I saw a problem. Win

(19:33):
Chimes was like a pop here.I saw them play at a vine called
Star Gager. I think that waslike that was a moment or its like
I want to do that, rightquol right music? So what do you
guys classify your music as? Dude? I don't know. I always trying
to right now. I think they'retrying to brand it as like murder polk,

(19:59):
yeah, I mean, and it'swith our label. We recently we
got signed by UM called Liars ClubRecords, and one of the dudes,
UM, he's a he's a musician. He's a phenomenal. His sat name
is Amigo the Devil, and sohis stuff is like, you know,
murder, like serial killer, Likeit's really really fucking good, like this

(20:22):
straight up loses haven't. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it was. It
was crazy. He was my wife'sfavorite artist before I even met her,
and then I met her and thenyou know, years down the road and
the dude signs us and so Iwas like, like, you know,
she's losing her mind? Who wereoly ship? Yeah, we're going with

(20:45):
murder book now, but it's it'syou know, blues. We got trash
grass like yeah, I like Ilike I like that. I like trash
grass. I really like that.Yeah. And the more you hear stories
about us, memorial understand it's notjust about the sound. Well, that's
why we're here tonight is to figureout who you are. No, we're

(21:10):
here to have fun and just kindof this is this is a present for
Liz. That's that's why I'm doingthis this and because I really want to
know who you guys are. Ienjoyed the music myself, and I figured,
you know what, this would bea cool show. Let's bring them
on and let's see what happens. Now it's my birthday present. So how

(21:30):
now, how how do you guyslike? I'm sure though because of COVID
you haven't been performing that much, but before COVID you were performing. How
was how was it out there foryou guys performing? I mean you are
a different type of music. Imean did you play clubs and stuff like
that to where people said, hey, these guys are different, I like

(21:52):
them or did you get some negativeshit or you know, what do you
what do you think are we playing? Oh a lot of bargains down to
Mary, but we've bay Town butI mean eaters. That's actually I got.

(22:15):
I've gotten drunk more than one andjust set up in a seven eleven
started playing. Really, there's videossomewhere on the internet. You just sat
up at a seven to eleven.I started playing inside a one. Yeah,
holy shit, yeah, black out, Wow. Wow. I'll be

(22:37):
looking for you in New York streetshere pretty soon. I guess it's nice.
Part of the reason why we lovethis town, though, is because
because that we've we played the barswith something. There's no one here like
us, so it sets us apart. There's a lot of jam bands and
like classic right, people got consistentlyfor us because it's different. I gotta

(22:59):
ne and that that's that's your niche. That's that's what draws you know,
people to you because you are sodifferent, which is fantastic because then you
have no competition and everybody else cansuck ass. You know you guys,
are you know? Um? Youknow I'm going to say it, but
oh I did, I mean,I Hey, trust me, I'm I

(23:22):
Liz, you can tell them howI am. I just say, I
just say it, you know, you know, I just I like what
I like and then and if Idon't like it, I tell yeah.
It's pretty much that way. Butum, I support people that are trying
to follow their dreams and you know, no matter what it is. And

(23:42):
I think what you guys are doingis fantastic. Now, if you do
want me, asking your ages wouldbe nice. The you don't know,
I got to be thirty three,it is three. Give him another drink,

(24:03):
will you please? Sean? Hemight remember now that recall drunken on
Barn. I'll come back. Okay, So about you, Sean, I'm
I'm twenty eight. Really cool, cool, Yeah. So I really want
to hear Connor with that banjo becauseI love banjo and I just really want

(24:30):
to hear you know him pick alittle bit now with you guys, this
type of music, Um, whatmade you decide to But because of the
blue grass background? Was that? Was that why you chose the instrumentation that
you have. That's a hard one. I oh, I don't. I

(24:52):
actually don't know why. I Iplayed a waltcht bathe originally when I met
Connor. Okay, I don't knowwhy I I ever started playing that,
dude. I think the honest answeris because we're we're broke, living in
bushes. You know, we can'twe're not buying amps. Like, here's

(25:14):
the guitar washboard, I see, this is my drum. Here, that's
a suit base that I just Isee that. I see that. That's
awesome. I love. What's what'sthe guitar? What is that's the stand
up base over there next to Seanright? What's the square thing the other
side of you? What is thatdown on the floor that's literally a gas
can? Oh my god? Hereand yeah he built this that, Oh

(25:44):
my god. Might not be ableto hear it not no, but is
that the bottom of a crutch?Yeah? Yeah, yeah. You know
the best part about that thing isright here. Tile Gass from TOMASSK signed
it. Oh no, kid,you playing. We were playing like the

(26:08):
bar side. You're playing the venueside. He was upstairs with him,
but we we taught him. We'relike, dude, our bases were playing
a gas can your Kyle gas Wow. Man, that is that is definitely
something you're gonna want to hold onto. Man, that is cool as
shit ever, Wow, for allyou dickheads that aren't watching the show tonight,

(26:37):
you could have saw something cool.So now you gotta wait until the
reruns, you know. So umhey Laura, Jena and uh Tammy and
Samantha and you know all those otherones over on the watch party that I
can't see because over there behind me. But I just want to say hi,
you know, but uh plays infast food drive cruise. Really that's

(27:03):
interesting. I like to take mymom but my ac DC, you know,
blaring really loud through the I don'tknow, parking lots. My grand
my mom seventy seventy seven, andshe's out there waving her arm like this,
the ac DC bopping back and forth. So oh yeah, yeah,
that's that's the best part. Yeah. So Joey Dunford is on here,

(27:23):
Liz, why did you make aface when you down some crown? Mmmm?
I think it was because it wastoo cold. I think that's what
she said. It was too cold. Look, yeah it's frosty. I
was like, oh god, yeah, that's a little frosty. It's like,
yeah, it's a little syrupy.Yeah it's but you know good.

(27:52):
I wanted to make some Washington applesone night for one of the shows we
were doing, and you gotta havecrown for Washington apples, all right.
So we got some crown and thensome pucker some cranberry juice, and I
went from making shots out of itto full drinks and then I don't remember
the rest of the name. Asthe story goes, as as the bar

(28:18):
stool turns, that's the line, and that's the fire stool turns. So
now the way, yeah, yeah, do it. Just keep paying attention,
Joey that that's your new job.So um so inspirations like individually,

(28:41):
I mean inspirations influences other than yourgrandfather musically, Ray Ray, Charles and
name number one. Okay, sofar as me because but Willie Elson,
Waylon Jennings, Like Dad raised meup on a lot of that stuff looking
pot smokers too. Yeah, yeah, whiskey and pot that that's what they

(29:03):
that's what they all had in common. You can't go wrong with them all.
Oh. No, high school Igot on a lot of park Roll.
Middle school I got in a lotof park rock. M My cousins
next to the drummer of the catlPasa. So that's like a probably rock
scene Yeah, that's awesome. Yeah, that's awesome. Counter My biggest influence

(29:26):
has been like musically at least, like my friends and people that I've met
along the way naturally have been ableto play music with. It's cool,
um, especially like my time inNew Orleans, like so many phenomenal musicians
just all the time everywhere you win, getting able to like pick pieces from
different bands, like fans that youknow, probably no one's ever heard of

(29:49):
outside of you know, in NewOrleans, the Hopome high Rollers again,
like yes, ma'am, like Royaltydumbs Papers, I don't think out anymore?
Like did you say wrought Royal Streetgum scrapers? Is that what you're
saying? Our original guitarist before whenwant to watch what it was? His
old band and it was the dumpiestbut but but the name of the band

(30:18):
is fucking cool as shit. Ohyeah they were great, but like they
were all just like trash people, like not a bad way to people.
So like yeah, like google trainhopping, they smell um. Mary and

(30:40):
van Hunt is on here and shesays, do you guys ever plan on
coming to Europe? Yeah, we'resupposed to be there in October. We
had a whole month plan and thenyou know Rona, Yeah, Corona,
that whole thing run the whole fuckingyear. Yea, for real. Yeah,

(31:00):
I ain't ruined everybody, because mostof the musicians that I know,
um on in Nashville, um RandaBronson or New York City, they're all
saying that they're they're not going tosee anything until twenty twenty one, you
know, concerts and so on andso forth. So we've been we've been
figuring out some like it's like backyardprivate parties. We bought like bick plexiglass

(31:22):
pions in between us and the likethe people's they can eat dinner while we
like play. That's cool. Yeah, yeah, I mean it's like Beata
the able to like not the same. But well, we'll be back in
Europe for sure. Like I said, like since they're gonna hit we got
signed and Amigo the Devil and LiarStub Records, they're like they're gung ho
about this shit, so they're gonnabe there. I'm sure they're gonna get

(31:45):
us over there, like you know, it's it's possible. Yeah, we
actually speaking of we just opened amerch store. Playale Records, Um,
they do our merged distribution and theyjust opened it up, opened up a
European one, like today you canactually get our vinyl and from you in

(32:07):
Europe. By that's cool. Wehave any collection, We're going to have
to do that. Yeah, yeah, that's awesome. Um, all these
gadgets around me, I'm still notused to all of them. There's just
too many. And then noises, and then I have headphones on him,

(32:29):
like what make what's making all thisnoise? You know? But um,
so you'repe but you know who's missingas Robert from Australia. He's usually on
here by now. And uh,um, I have a lot of friends
that are in two different types ofmusic and and um there's a young man.
Um his name is Ryan Bauer.I had him on my show and

(32:53):
he has got a unique voice,a very unique um flavor. I guess
the music sort of like what youguys have. You have your own flavor
of music, you know. Anduh, but he's much much younger and
I'm hoping to see him big someday. So you know, all I

(33:14):
can say is is that keep pushingit forward, you guys, you know,
according to you know what I'm seeingand hearing you know it stalked you
guys a little bit. So Iwas a stalker today. Um, but
you know it was it all looksand sounds great, you know. I'm
I'm, I'm. I just thinkit's wonderful to be honest with you.

(33:35):
And I know music. I've knownmusic all my life. I've I've,
like I said, I've been doingit a long time. And before I
got in that band touring, Iwas being local. You know, I
was local for years, just doingthe same old bars and you know,
backstreets and freaking picnics and oh ohmy god, cardinals and oh yeah,

(33:59):
I don't miss some of those things. Well it's probably because I didn't remember
remember most of them. Yeah.I did birthdays a few times. I
got requested because I'd always hop upat the bar I worked at and I'd
sing along with their specific band thatwould come in and I did do what

(34:21):
to them. Well, I gotrequested once for a birthday, and then
it just kept going. I thinkI've done. I think I've done two
birthdays and I was. I don'tremember either one of them. I don't
remember how getting getting home from them. But it just it's let's say,
waters, you know, music. It's it's kind of like one of those

(34:42):
things because music is a release foryour soul. It's one of those things
where it can take you from anyemotion that you're in and quickly change it,
and it can send you to awhole nother flight pattern, to a
different location, to where you areare limitless and you're you have no weight,

(35:02):
you're just free floating and you're inyour own little, you know world.
And music is such a good thingto have, specially today with all
the problems that are out there. And so I recommend to anybody and everybody
that if you're having a stressful day, turn on the music while you're driving
to work, coming home, orjust get in your trunk at car and

(35:24):
just take a drive and turn themusic on, turn it up as loud
as you can handle it, andtransport yourself somewhere else. You know.
But if you're driving something that makesyou aggressively driving, tone it down just
a hair. So yeah, butyeah, I'm not saying listen to tiny

(35:45):
Bubbles or anything like that. I'mjust saying, you know, it's something
really heavy, tone it down, just air Brian, when I stop at
a stop, why everybody else islistening to Cannibal Ports too, just saying,
yeah, well mine is a CDC. I got it, I got

(36:06):
it. I'm the old white guyin town where it's like, you know,
my mom's older than I am,but she's on the other side.
And we're jamming in the truck, you know, rednecks on the truck and
a small little town and acdc's blaring, and all the young kids are looking
at me like I not just likepull up your pants, fuckers, you
know what you know? But sorry, sorry, but that's just it is

(36:30):
funny because it's like back in theday when I was doing music, there
wasn't all that stuff. It wasI think the worst thing you saw with
people. Um, it was likethe eighties was the punk look. Was
the purple and pink hairs, themohawks, the spiked hairs and you know,
and all that stuff. Everybody lookedlike a tropical fish in the eighties

(36:52):
walking down the streets. So butthat's all right, Um, so I
guess everybody's waiting. So what wasyou, guys, first like song that
you decided to put together and recordand and put out there for people to

(37:15):
listen to. M Like first originaltoo? Sure? Sure, probably forty
four. Yeah, I think that'sprobably the first original we ever recorded when
we used to do I can't rememberour first album because we we've been doing

(37:37):
like you know, just apartment recordingsand for a while. It would have
been forty four because like I said, that one was recorded before or written
before we even mad, So Imean I think we probably had some other
original album that album. But weactually bought one of those albums off eBay

(37:59):
not too long ago. I needto listen to it. You buy your
own music an eBay, Yeah, because we lost it. We used to
sell them and we're playing on thepaper bags like lunch bags, and then
like his handwrite our band name onthere, and we were like someone stumbled
up. You know, we werelooking on the internet at ourselves because we're

(38:20):
not banging or whatever, and itbut they liked it was on there,
and I was like, fuck,we gotta buy that, so yeah we
I think we bought it for likefifteen buck. Wow. Yeah, Well
that's that's that is. That's agood story too, though only shit's right.
Now, write a book, writea book, damn it, damn

(38:44):
that's awesome, Jesus. Um.So, how many albums do you guys
think you've put out, um,actual albums that were proud of. I
think what three do three? Ifyou guys keep that up, I'm gonna

(39:04):
go find my bottle here if youkeep that up, because that way I
might be able to catch up withyou. Two or three good ones,
probably six or seven. Man,Man, have you ever taken a song
that you did on an album thatyou really weren't find of and brought it
back and we did it? Andyeah, totally we're still doing that.

(39:25):
I think we have shit. Wegot whiskey on like what four albums right
now and at least yeah, ohjust wait, we got something. We've
got something good coming for you andit's in the future. Oh that's nice.
But Kelly h Kelly Maher is onhere and she says, one,

(39:47):
I listened to the bagpipe so tomy neighbors. Oh yeah, I fucking
love Kelly. She's awesome. Yeah, yes, relay. Back in the
eighties people were fish. Um.Just look at the way they dressed.

(40:10):
Oh man, A lot of whatwhat are those? What are those bettest
that? Especially over in London, they had that hair. They look like
bettest walk in the street. Theydid, they really did I'm looking at
my green hair that looks blue oncamera. Well, it does look sort

(40:31):
of greenish blue, but I'm coloredblind, so whatever you say it is,
it is. It's green and yellow, but it's actually blue on camera.
Yeah, that's your camera, dear. So okay, so did you
have any questions? Liz? Imean, come on, you've been pretty
like quiet over there. I'm justexcited to hear them say is that all

(40:55):
you want? Is that all youwant? I've been letting you ask all
the questions and everything, and Iam really stoked just to be here right
now. And like I'm totally justfann rolling out right now. Kelly,
Kelly mahar is like, yeah, the seventies were hideous. Yeah, we're
not even gonn we don't even recognizethe seventies. I don't know quite to

(41:20):
take in the seventies, late sixties, early seventies that and it was roller
skating parties with bell bottom pants.I gotta admit, I'm gonna I kind
of like Bill Bottoms. What eldit take? Yeah? Okay, all

(41:40):
right, I have like I mean, Frank will probably answer this. I
have probably about like four or fivepairs of Bill Bottoms. Well, yeah,
Yeah, that's that's your thing.Just store. They're not they're not
corduroy rights the cord pillows. No, they're they're really making headlines. Uh,

(42:16):
where's the drummer? You're the drummer. You're the one that told the
show wow wow. So if youguys want you, and I'm sure there's
other people sitting here, it's like, by the way, Adam Foster says,
uh, gives you the music signs. Um. So if you guys

(42:37):
want to play a tune for Liz, you're more than welcome. Um,
you can chat some more, whateveryou want to do. I mean,
we've got plenty of time. Weplay one and then let's got and we
want to play another one later. That sounds great from from a frank Okay,
what's the question? Uh, whatinspired you to make your favorite songs

(43:07):
in the name we Yeah, weactually a time where we drink more whiskew.
I think that's that's that's really whatdrove that's harm mhm awesome. We're
even getting requests right now, arewe funny? Yeah, we're getting so

(43:29):
far. Kelly's like play monkeys, play well, I got a kid before
we started whatever song again? Youat midnight tonight, we're releasing a a
new video of us playing a songfor the first um part of our album

(43:52):
that's coming out a Monarch session andit's like a live acoustic album at midnight.
Wow YouTube. I think like it'sgonna be our first video. Awesome.
We don't totally get the mfication becauseI'll be up I mean midnight y'all
on the Heath Coast, right.Yeah, I'm in California. Okay,

(44:15):
so wait at eight o'clock your time, think, I don't know how that
works midnight, but you're in Colorado. Yeah, it's more mountain time.
Yeah, so he's like two hoursbehind me, so like ten over here.
So if if if it's midnight midnightfor him, ten for you and
two for me, well I thinkit's midnight for night. Oh okay,

(44:37):
so midnight midnight ten and eight. No, No, you're only one hour
ahead of us. Yeah, yeah, I don't know who cares. Let's
drink, I mean, let's listen. Let's least. By the way,

(49:55):
over the miccare I was like singingalong, so I was trying to like
cover my voice. I thought,I thought it was great. I mean
a lot of good responses in thechat room and everything else. And in
fact, Morgan Hubbard is here, and she said, I am so happy
that y'all make some badass music.I listened to y'all every day. Wish

(50:17):
folks shit what wait minute, wishfolks shit up would have would have happened
festival in San Antonio. Oh okay, okay, ah yeah, that would
have been a lot of parents toa shot for someone Adam. Yeah,

(50:40):
okay, darn oh that sucks.I need to go get something if you
guys keep it up. But it'snot anymore. It's getting back there.
You got a pilot now. MorganHubbard says, ha ha, I'm a

(51:07):
guy. Okay, all right,I think, Oh, I don't care
if it's got a girl. Ijust you know, not a girl.
Ha ha haa. Okay, cool, we got you. They're actually over
on the YouTube side, actually watchingit on YouTube, which is cool.

(51:28):
I also believe that that is whereMelanie Rashauer is as well, from the
TV series Naked and a phrase.Yeah, well she's awesome, guys,
She's she's the real deal. Ohyeah, she's a real deal. End

(51:52):
up. So you know how they'resupposed to bring like one item? Yeah,
okay, seriously, what would yourone item be? Oh? My
god, you know, I dothis in my head with like I'm like,
if I could go back in timeto medieval times? What would I
bring? You know, most peoplebring a knife or a machete. I'm

(52:16):
half cooked to say I'd bring whiskey, like seriously lighter okay, make fire
okay, less of a joke,I guess I would. I don't know.
I have one of those badass tomahawkknives that has like a survival kit
inside the hilt with a compass init. Yeah, though, does it

(52:43):
count? I don't know. Idon't know. I think it was it
was either Jeremy or it was TrentNielsen that brought. They brought They brought
a hammock and they used the ropefrom the hammock to you know all that

(53:05):
shit. I mean, is itreally cheating if my health has like a
first aid kit? I don't know. Oh that's funny. That's funny.
So Liz, now you got tocome up with some questions here instead of
being this is I had to comeup with questions and I'm over here like

(53:30):
blanking out. I have literally beenat work since like seven this morning.
So what is what I'm gonna askyou? Liz? So what are your
favorite give me the top your topthree favorite songs from them whiskey forty four
and no water. That was areally easy question. I guess I go

(53:59):
Tom's over here on this is Tomporl Um. But yeah, no,
uh, like I said, myfriend Tara uh introduced me to you guys.
And she was like, seriously, seriously, I've been really getting into
this band. And there's like groupthat's been playing something about like Saturday nights

(54:23):
on Facebook. She would saying like, yeah, we've been doing some livestream
stuff we're gonna do on tomorrow.Actually nice. When we started, Accordant
started that we were doing it yeaheverywhere, like every said, and we'll
definitely definitely send send your links tous. I mean send it to me.
I'll share it on my stuff.I don't have a problem. Same.

(54:45):
We've got like five groups between theYeah, but we got like maybe
ten groups between the two of us. Yeah, should I got a lot.
So the network's the biggest one.So yeah, I can. I
can sure right on the network. Not a problem. But yeah, she
was saying. She was like, man, I just you've got to hear

(55:07):
this band. And I was like, all right, all right, all
right, let me go look himup. We'll do it right now.
And this is when like we werestarting our show and I started joking around
about making quarantine E's I started makingbasically Madori sours and a Martini glass so
it looked like radioactive. And wedid an after party in front of a

(55:32):
fire and she's like, no,seriously, fucking looked them up now,
and I did. And I've literallybeen playing you guys in the car like
ever since, and which is funnybecause, like I said earlier, I
listen to like Hannibal Warps. Usuallyit's like the Temith blasting in my car
some lamb of God and go towar. And then now I've been like

(55:55):
blasting you guys in my car.But I gotta I don't know where this
is coming from with Robert White, but he's made a couple statements here.
One of them was, uh,He's on the highway to Hell. And
then underneath and it says it's along way to the shops if you want

(56:15):
a sausage roll. Yeah, nowI'm hungry. I ordered food right before
this started, and it literally showedup like as we were going on,
and I'm all, we got likethis table with booze. We need a

(56:38):
little fucking microwave, right, here. Yeah. Yeah, Actually, get
yourself a college a college fridge andtake I don't know, find some way
to make that your uh your yourdrum pad there. Oh shit, now

(56:59):
we're tak kah, like put somethinglike cover the outside part of the door
to where it's like the you knowwhat I mean. So you're cooler and
your drum is the same thing. The more beers you take out, though,
the difference the sound will be,wouldn't it. I mean with today,
we're not really playing on the corneranymore. So we're gonna just plug

(57:20):
it in and run some effects. It's gonna be fine. Yeah, yeah,
see, you'll figure it out.And now now nick me lays in
the middle of it, he goes, what kind of sausage role is he
talking about? I'm like, Ishouldn't have said it. I have no
idea, so no, got Idon't know. But now people are hungry.
God damn it, Robert. You'rein Australia and the rest of us

(57:43):
are here in the US, andnow we're hungry. So you better find
a way to start serving sausage rightnow. Oh I hate pineapple on pizza.
I hate that's not that's not it'snot pizza. Uh yeah, yeah,

(58:04):
do we really want to go there? I put I put on that
COVID twenty five. You know it'sit's yeah yeah, yeah, my my,
my tits are drooping so much.If I keep going anymore, I'm
gonna be my sides will be havingtheir own zip codes. Yeah. You

(58:28):
gotta have a border to border andthen add the pineapple. So a border
to border it is Canadian bacon andhalapeno, and then you add the pineapple
on there, so it's sweethet andsalty. It's ball mash shit. We
had a we had a pizza inNebraska one time that was it was a
cream cheese and hallepeno pizza. Ohyeahezza. All right, guys, I

(58:52):
am a pizza halic. So we'reoff the rails. Tom's world is saying
pineapple should not be served hot,not on pizza, not on ham.
Okay, are we about to gointo some like I don't know, But

(59:13):
the way the way I read it, the way I read it and the
way it was going, it waskind of reminding me of green eggs and
hambook there for a second, doctorsus right now, Yeah, so whatever,
but pineapple and ham definitely go together. So yes, oh yes,
Easter dinner. Easter dinner used tobe ham and ham and pineapple. Shit,

(59:34):
I got pineapple in my cottage cheese. Oh yeah, so uh I
did want to make a comment.Um, so, like I said earlier,
we got a place over here calledto Home Ranch. Yea. So
when you guys were first introduced tous, my husband and I were sitting
here going, are they from California? Pass? Are they from down the

(59:55):
street? Like? And we justdidn't know about this. How do we
not know these guys? Like?We were trying to figure it out,
and then we were speculating all thesedifferent places you could be from. And
then you know, all I hadto do is look it up. Yeah
we have We're not very like ourfamily and kind of sucks. But it's

(01:00:17):
like descriptive. I guess I thinkit's I don't think it sucks. I
think it's cool. I almost saidI think it sucks. I almost said
that I don't know why, butI almost said, but literally like this
this, I mean, yeah, that's how we do We got license plates?
That's that are just TSCT Yeah justnow they came in the mail the

(01:00:37):
type. Yeah, so you diddo that and get your next shirt,
you know, just your license plateis your next shirt. Yeah, there
we go. Yeah, there areliterally fans out there that I swear to
God our sentences, you guys arestill not like at that point, and
that's a good thing. Most ofthose are hardcore bands and they suck.

(01:01:00):
Oh yeah. I remember when Iwas I don't know, I think I
was like twenty two or twenty three, there was a punk band that I
went to go hang out with orsomething, and literally the name of their
band was smelly egg Ferts. AndI thought that was the coolest name back

(01:01:23):
then. Yeah, And but theworst part about it was, and I
don't know how they recreated it.Their fog machine back then in the day
smelt like rotten eggs. It wasnasty. All you gotta do is get
some of those uh those freaking stinkbomb things. Put it in there,
you know those ones. You couldbuy it the uh well, at least

(01:01:45):
around here, the the ice creamtruck that comes around. They need to
have a bunch of frankshit like andI would buy sting bombs and throw them
into you know, the girls bathroom. It really is that like a sulfur
It's a sulfur bomb pretty much. It's like a real raunchy sulfur smell.

(01:02:07):
Yeah. So, you know whenI used to go to um flogging Molly
concerts. I mean they had alot of mosh pits and flogging Molly,
and you know, I love Ilove flogging Molly. Don't say nothing bad
about flogging Molly Liz. Every year. Oh, they used to come here

(01:02:28):
where I am every year. Theyhaven't come in the last two years.
We don't know why, but theythere. I swear to god, people
were throwing that ship out in thefreaking crowds when people were, you know,
doing their bouncing up on each other. What was the name of that
band again, Teddy Um, Ibelieve I believe it was Smelly egg Farts

(01:02:50):
was the name of the band.Frank was asking did Dave Brocky front the
band? He was, Oh,no, no, miss me some Dave
Rocky. Let's see. There isa couple of comments in here. One
ums zells and here's this what's pickingthe band? And uh, this is

(01:03:15):
Tom's world again. He's got lol. Band names that are sentences.
It would be like, okay, everyone, welcome to the stage. You
suck and your mom has no teststhat that's just that's that's now we have
to go rated acts here, TomGod damn it anyways, No, Um,

(01:03:40):
but I get it. I thinkit's cool when when bands have unique
names. I mean Flogging Molly,as I mentioned, that's that's a very
unique name, you know, forthem, and just like yours. But
I still gotta get used to saying. Let see, I like street corner
Thieves. I'm always going to havea problem with the first te tayone.

(01:04:02):
I'm always going to have a problemwith that. And I don't know why.
It's everyone does we like t Johnor pay John and you know because
Spanish it means badger. Yeah, well to me, I wish to John
is what I'm looking at. Imean, that's but that's okay. Morgan's

(01:04:27):
like, I wrestled the bear once. Really we need to know that,
thank you, Morgan? Or isthat the name of the band. That's
the name of the band. Iwrestled the bear once. That's the name
of the band. Yeah see hesaid band name, I wrestled the bear
once. That's it. Um.Over here, Robert White from Australia is
saying oh, and Steve Berries heresaying hello, Hello, Hello, Hello,

(01:04:49):
We've got a lot of Europeans inhere. Um, it's running down
your lake fellas and so um.Let see twenty twenty the band moy my
best friend hates that word. Yeah, and Steve is saying the band father

(01:05:09):
Steve and the gen flicks gen FlexFlex. Have you guys had to check
out the band me and that man, Me and that man. So,
the lead singer of behema Um startedup like a brock. That was kind

(01:05:32):
of like he enjoyed They're from Poland, right, he enjoyed country a lot,
but he likes blues and country andall that, and he kind of
made like this satanic country. Idon't know how else to say it.
You heard orvil Pack, Yes,arbol Pack, Yeah? Have you haven't

(01:05:56):
checked out? You that he's fuckingex playing it. He's like it's like
goth country, like super eccentric. He's on the cover of he just made
the cover of like Gay Times Europe. But he's really yeah, he's fucking
phenomenal, Like his music videos arejust fucking so goddamn good, like creative.

(01:06:16):
Well. I kind of find itfunny that how music has changed over
the years to where, you know, heavy metal, like real heavy metal
back in the day was considered thedevil's music and all that other stuff.
But look at the way rock androll was when it first started. Rock
and roll was a devil's music. So now you know the heavy metal and
all that stuff. But now it'scoming down to anybody that plays anything darker

(01:06:39):
than what everybody's used to. Andit can be lyrics, it can be
music, it can be anything. And I hate to say this, but
I'm so glad that the Christian likethat whole Christian thing that was that was
pushing everybody else down for so manyyears, it's going like this. It's
kind of it's kind of going away, which is great because I've been pegging

(01:07:01):
since I was eight, nine, ten years old. So you want to
know something a wild about Christianity. But I used to be a youth leaders
really oh yeah reformed. Yeah,it was a confusing time. I remember
the moment that the light switched wasthere. We were driving and he was

(01:07:26):
one of our one of our otherChristian buddies that I guess got a bad
visual. I'm sorry, but goahead, I just got a really bad
visual. Oh he's like saying somethinggoes something was stupid, he said,
he goes you believe in earth?A talking snake and a guy who walks
on water. That was and thatliterally that was deep. Moment was like

(01:07:49):
yeah, I don't care. Somebodywas acting like something like, yeah,
they came out of volcano. Weall looking at the jo maybe from virgins,
doctor snakes, and its youth thatwalk from water like aliens coming out
of volcanoes, talking bushes, liketalking bushes. I mean that's like talking

(01:08:15):
bushes. Yeah, talking bushes. We're gonna weigh like what's more ridiculous,
like a whale? Yeah yeah yeah. Um so without being said, I
uh, I grew up in ain one of those churches that was extremely
um well they were Born Again.Yeah, And they had us out street

(01:08:43):
preaching at like thirteen twelve and thirteenin like these huge marketplaces, handing out
tracks and so. And we didn'tknow what the fuck we were talking about
half the time, and they hadus walking up people like have you heard
about gee? You know? Andthen I got pushed to the ground several

(01:09:04):
times. I got like, youknow, I got assaulted, all because
the adults told me that I neededto go out and do this. Yeah,
that's when I kind of realized, what the fuck am I doing?
Okay, so I'm gonna let mego back to a couple of people here

(01:09:25):
because they're going so fast on thiswatch party here before I forget some of
them, but one of them wasum, Robert White. Of course,
Um, another another name for aband. And I'm pretty sure these are
just jokes, but he's like,uh not P and I flushed, Um
Maximus the hormone. Um, well, I actually believe that one parental warning,

(01:09:51):
that's that's a good name for aband. Um. Robert White says
something went wrong for Fay Ray andKing Kong. They both got caught up
in a celluloid jam. Um.Uh. Steve says, I used to
be in the Cub Scouts, butI get kicked out for eaton brownies.

(01:10:13):
Yes, Robert White says, ifthe bush can talk, it means it
has teeth. Um, have you'veseen that horror movie no teeth? No?
Oh wait, met yes, Ihave the guy with all the teeth
on his face. Oh no,it was the girl with the teeth down

(01:10:33):
there. Oh really that's nope, you know me, that's not my kind
of movie. I mean, it'sstill a horror movie. Steve Barry saying,
stud Bulls, Disco, Biscuit,Canadian Carcass, They're they're they're going
to town here, um on thewatch party, Morgan Hubbard. Um,

(01:10:57):
so that's your two years ago whenI heard T SCT and my hardcore music,
I don't listen to anymore. Thismusic, y'all play has hit.
More of it has hit more ofwhat's going on or has gone on in
my life just speaks to me.Wow. Thanks, thanks, that's that's

(01:11:18):
awesome. I'm glad. Yeah.Um, so one of those things when
you touch, when when you whenyou can touch somebody and and bring them
in from where they were, youknow, and and and it speaks to
them. That's just an amazing thingto do. You know, that's just
it's a godsend, you know.So I have a question over here again,

(01:11:42):
Um, did you guys have anyother name ideas before this the name
that you chose or like, yeah, when we were mowing over the idea
the Handy Bandits. Yeah that soundspretty gay. I'm sorry, but yeah,

(01:12:02):
you know, yeah, that wouldbe that would be that would be
a band I would go listen to. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
the Handy Bandits. Yeah, yep. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
yeah, we were moving that over. I'm glad. I don't know.
I kind of kind of want toworry out if you were the hand Yeah,

(01:12:25):
the the handy bandits that's yeah, yeah, I would if that was
the name of your band. Sorryto cut you off list, but if
that was the name of the bandat this moment, I wouldn't be interviewing
you. You would be over onone of the other w LF shows called
In the Drag Closet with Jade. You'd be over on that show. I
mean, it's too late. It'snever too late. Frank says, Well,

(01:12:50):
they do spend a lot of money, you know that, right.
Yeah. I watched her show lastnight. Wasn't her show great? Oh
god? It was so funny. She kept mistaking me for you because for
some reason I kept popping up asWLF right and I was like, I
had gone to go and do somethingelse. I came back. I'm like,

(01:13:12):
you guys are still on? Yay, Yeah, I'm sure you read
it as you going. You guysare still on. Yeah. She looks
so beautiful last night. That wasthe first time I've seen her dress like
that, and she was beautiful.Yeah, that's one. That's one time
that I've looked at her and said, oh my god, that's she looks,
you know, like a female, but in my mind knowing that she's

(01:13:35):
a male, you know, butstill she just looks so fucking hot.
Last night I was like, holymoly, I need her help with my
Frankenfurter makeup. There you go.Steve Barry says, if you want class,
listen to the monitors. I don'tknow what that is, but okay,

(01:13:56):
and Morgan Hubbard come back, Sean, I was telling you while Connor
is probably in the bathroom there orwhatever it was, um pissing out a
tree or grab another bottle whatever.Um gives hope. You guys gave hope
with that song, and what youknow, what you do? You give
hope to this guy. That's awesomefor real though, because your music touches

(01:14:18):
a certain place, like you listento it and you go, holy shit,
man, these guys are awesome. And like I said, coming from
a giant metal head over here, the fact that I just stopped listening to
my music and have been playing youguys on repeat because it just touches something

(01:14:41):
and it goes to a certain place. Deep you really would. We're actually
having a hard time hearing you fora second. I don't know if it
was the chord while you're moving itor what, but I table now yeah,
you're good. Now. Yeah,Like I was saying, listen,
devil like you even right up youralley. If you haven't heard that,

(01:15:08):
well, See, my thing withmusic is this is like and being in
the industry for a long time,is that I know that if a song
comes out and touches somebody and yousee the reactions on their face, or
they send you emails or they writeyou letters or you know, that's when
you know you've got something special. You have a talent in writing. You
have a talent to reach into somebody'slife and and and pull, you know,

(01:15:32):
yank something. And that came outwrong. I didn't mean it like
that, but you know, youknow what I mean, it's like you
you touch them. I didn't meanthat either, But there's like a bad
cub Scouts fucking moment here um.But it's but you know what I mean,
it's yeah, I'll kidding aside,Yeah, yeah, but I just

(01:16:00):
think it's wonderful that these people aremaking these statements about your music. And
that you're touching them. I meanit's you. When you can write a
song and it moves them and canyou know, stir emotions and so on
and so forth with them, thenyou know you've got something special. And
I think that's what Liz was tryingto say too. It's like there's there's
there's meaning, there's there's uh yeah, you know, there's that that silver

(01:16:23):
thread that connects everybody when it comesto certain songs, you know, and
you guys have that and that's awesome. Now who's the writer technically? Yeah,
so you're both right, yeah yeah, So now where do you draw
inspiration for your songs? If youdon't mind me asking where where does it

(01:16:44):
come from? Life experiences? Orjust you're drinking too much? And yeah,
um for me perfect, I meanlike like whisky. But I mean
honestly, like I wrote that song. He was living in his shed and
I was like literally steeping on thelady let him live in her shed.

(01:17:05):
I was sleeping on her couch atthe time, but I was like I
was drinkingful I was. It's reallylike relates to that song, Like like
that song, I was like,I wrote that song. I think actually
really both h there's a Bonnie reasonhere, and uh the comment is,

(01:17:31):
uh, these guys are some ofmy favorite people's. Uh, such great
guys and so incredibly talented. Forexample, you thought you didn't see it,
Yeah there is. Oh can youguys read it? Oh yeah,
oh you got a big screen TVor something. That's good. Yeah we

(01:17:54):
know Bonnie Bonnie, there you go. That's awesome. Yeah. Um,
well now that I know that youcan see it, I can put them
up there. Yes, good, good. That makes me feel better.
That makes me feel better. Um. Robert White says, you generate feelings
in their souls. Yeah. Yeah, it's gonna be here. Yeah,

(01:18:23):
that's awesome. So Liz, whatare you doing? You got you got
any more questions here? Come on? Are you just gonna like fangirl over
there? And what? I'm fangirling? But I'm also I'm getting sent questions
here. Okay, well then startasking and so well I pretty much asked
a lot of them. Apparently there'ssomebody we know who's gonna be extremely jealous.

(01:18:45):
Oh that we got to speak withyou guys. Um because of um
the connection from me go the devil. So that's pretty cool. Um,
I'm literally just stoked that you guyswere on here and like happy to hear
you guys singing, Like so,like, when are you guys planning on

(01:19:10):
have you Have you made any plansto like for like twenty twenty one to
go anywhere and start performing again orI don't fucking I don't know what's going
on. I have, like soa bunch of these festivals they were supposed
to play this year keep like pushingback, and a lot of them have
like literally pushed back like in thenext year. And now that all right,
Now it's like some of the daysthey're trying to get click and it's

(01:19:32):
being like weird. So I'm honestlylike, because I've been doing all the
booking after this point and like managementlike all that shit, then I'm like
good at it, you know,And I like somehow just fell into that
role and I excel at it,you know. So I don't mind.
But I'm like really fucking helping thatwith like the new label and every and

(01:19:54):
everything that we can like get someof that weight off my boulders and have
out. I guess you guid fromthem, right Jerry's Pizza, Bakersfield.
I remember, I don't really havelike a clear answer on like our plans,
because I'm not one hundred perfecture, like you know, like we could

(01:20:15):
play right happen, we will, absolutely, but I think that there might
be a little before right, allright, So a lot of these guys,
you guys are popping in now thatI'm seeing UM. So we are
sitting down, so um again, say the name one more time. The

(01:20:38):
first word Tahan tahone okay um andit's to Home Street Corner Thiefs. So
I've been one of these gentlemen.I don't remember which one it was that
sent it to me, probably Connorright that that he sent me. These
are some of his social media linksfor their band, UM and so I
want you to check them out.If you've never heard of these guys before,

(01:21:00):
I'm telling you, and you knowme well enough now that if I
like something, it's because it's unique, it's promising, and it's beautiful.
So to me, I like whatthey're doing. It's soulful, it's it's
it's just fantastic. So take theopportunity to go over and check out uh
these guys. Now, their actualwebsite UM is Corner Thieves dot com.

(01:21:25):
Now, if you go over there, like, can those are your T
shirts? Right? Are those boththe same T shirts that you have on?
I've one for Muddy Roots basketball?Ok oh, okay, do you
have actually one of your shirts on? Though? He does? He does?

(01:21:47):
Did you say olaf? Yeah hemakes your shirts. Yeah, well,
oh that's awesome and actually took uson four last octoever, we did
our first Mexico tour and like wegot fuck uh I got everything's legal.

(01:22:11):
The other thing I remember about ourtours I was so fucked up. God
damn, you guys are awesome.I love you guys. I love you
guys. He just he started. We just started hiring him perfecting all of
our designs, and since then itspread like a bunch of our friends,
like everybody's hiring now they're able toget them on your website. Yeah the

(01:22:36):
the uh so there's the wind Counterwebsite, but it's actually flail Records dot
com give you all of our distitution. But if you go to corner Seams
dot com about they don't need tobe there, like, yeah we have
we have all tied together. Aslong as they have fat boy shirts,
I might buy one. Yeah, they're doing they got figger like you know.

(01:23:01):
Yeah, well Omar the tentmaker makesmy shirts, so yeah, I
have to convinced them totect you.And like, you know, I'm a
four X. So that's how thateven when I try to find my Godzilla
t shirts, I have to dolike four x because I just I've gained

(01:23:24):
so much weight over the past sixmonths I should be able to get awesome.
So sorry, I have a questionhere, So what like what kind
of what wouldn't be your like dreamgig right now? Anything? But I

(01:23:46):
mean like if the world didn't hitthe apocalypse and like, well, if
I knew how much it would costhim, Liz, I'd bring him to
New York. I'd bring him rightup here to w LFE and have them
play read it O big festival we'regonna be having next summer. We're gonna
be having a huge WLFE festival, and we're gonna be looking for bands and

(01:24:08):
stuff. So if these boys areinterested and we stay in touch, I
would love to bring him up tojoin us. And then like, are
there any bands that you would likelike to play with? Specifically, like
what it would be some dream bandsto like play with? Okay, well,

(01:24:30):
are you're doing that I'm gonna takea break and go grab a drink.
All right, back, go ahead, perfect red rock three. Nice.
Um, I'm like trying to thinkof like all these questions and I'm

(01:24:54):
just like I said before, Iwas just stoked to get you guys,
like a tenny message to you aboutyou. Guys. Do you interview you?
Huh? What interview you? Ohgod? What do you want to
interview me? Liz? H whatdo you? What do you do for
a living? For a living?I actually do tech support? Okay,

(01:25:17):
computer? Uh, computers and whatkind of texts for like phones? Yeah,
I'm literally not allowed to say wowtech support. But um. Also

(01:25:43):
my husband and I are on theb LP as well, and we talk
about serial killers, killer culture thatwe're talking about. Yeah, that's why
I wanted they started interviewing me.Jeddy nice, good, Well, my

(01:26:04):
wife thanks, electric fan, jewelryand like oddity stuff, all kinds of
you have a human ripped bomb up. So we have an appreciation for like

(01:26:24):
everything you're into. Cheers, guys, I actually have an adult beverage now.
Cheers. We are doing We've beendoing stuff on Edmund Kemper, like
I mentioned before, and it literallyjust started with we introduced ourselves on our
first show and when I have noschool, what the fuck we're going to

(01:26:45):
talk about? But my husband Frankand I were sitting there and that's a
subject we happen to know strangely alot about is that man Edmund Kemper.
And so we started like ripping offeach other talking about it, and Teddy
joined in and who's probably thinking thatwe're serial killers too or something I don't

(01:27:05):
know, And it ended up withthe next show was all about Kipper and
I learned a new word that iscracking me up in romantio. Oh yeah,
and I'm not gonna say, well, okay parental advisory it romatsio is

(01:27:28):
a forced platio. Wow yeah, wow wow, Okay, moving on.

(01:29:43):
you're it's weird. I don't knowwhat it is. Hold on a second
alone in the moon. M hmm. It's in and out. So I'm

(01:30:15):
wondering if I had something to dowith the internet because it's in and out.
But see the video is not glitching. It's only the audio. So
that's weird to be the audio.Yeah, if we talked loudest, no,

well. I don't know what that'slike. Oh really, you know,
here's here's something that people say tome all the time, and it's like,
doesn't that hurt? And I'm like, here's the thing. Once you

(01:35:30):
start getting them and you really getinto it, you're gonna love him and
you're gonna want more. I mean, it is addictive. I don't care
what anybody says. Getting tattoos addictive. You can't help it. Tony actually
says family is way more than blood. Absolutely, damn right, yeah,
damn right. So do you guyshave another song in your forests? Or

be tagged in it because he'd playthat stuff at the shop. He doesn't
have a problem with playing it atthe shop. Hell yeah, yeah.
All of everything's on Spotify as well. Literally, like, it's hard for
me to point in any one direction. It depends on what social media you
like or what streaming service, butwe try to be on all of it.

(01:47:14):
Stuff like that is fun. It'smemorable. Shit. I mean I I
myself like with with videos and stuff. I like the outtakes so much more.
And when you're trying to be seriousand shit happens, those are the
things that you want to remember andyou will remember more so than the original.
And rule number one is we'll sayat the same time, it's not

(01:47:38):
that serious. That's perfect that thepunch. Fine, let's go maybe is
that a new album name that?Yeah? There you go, there go.

if you're five five five, thenthen I'm six six six. He said,

(01:56:14):

All right, all right, comeon, I mostly end up showing
boob every time I do this.Well, he is a professional tattoo artist.
And okay, so I have aquote by Caligula old Ran Dumtala.

(01:56:41):
I mean, let them hate meso long as they fear me. I
love that movie. By the way, my acupose here yeah. Uh,
this is actually my wedding ring. It's the begos Here. Yeah. Basically
it was put on Viking warriors asa compasses. It means to find their
way home and even the harshest ofweather. And then we have the rooms

(01:57:04):
that go along with it that meanlike strong, steady relationship, long lasting
marriage, love, family. Um. Oh. By the way, Tony
says, boobs are okay too,Prince yeah, firmly known as yeah um

(01:57:26):
that Yeah. The hammer Haad isone of my favorites. I got this
on Friday the thirteenth. I drewthese This was okay, this is actually
all of a brand called she Double, but they made a baby version,
and then I drew a counterpart toher. Oh nice, and then,
um, this one's not fully doneand I need it fixed. But my

(01:57:48):
best friend passed away from him braincancer. And it's also a cover up,
as you can tell. But wewere working on a firebird in high
school and I thought it would bereally red neck to get the firebird logo
on my arm, so I triedto be creative and get like a phoenix.

(01:58:09):
And then his initials spilled ace,so I did like ace of hearts
in the tail. And there's abrain cancer ribbon the gray right there.
Cool. Yeah, well, dimebagsreally messed up. I'm ashamed of him.
Her guess, I'm really ashamed. But there's so many more that I

(01:58:31):
can't show. Um um, Actually, Tony de Ville says, no,
tryad very nice, Neo triad, very nice. But it's it's time,
isn't it's twelve o'clock a big dynplease. I'm trying to be the sweet

(01:58:53):
about it. Ahead both, ifit's posted, send it to us,
if we're allowed to play it,like, yeah, I don't know if
we're allowed to play it, that'sthe only problem. That's what I was
saying. If we're allowed to,I mean I think you are, But
like our label was the thing.Dude, that's dude does I don't know

(01:59:13):
how that we don't know. Ithink I don't want anyone getting in trouble
here. Yeah, I just gota notification that fucking protesters and the police
here and up and rests are atit together right now in the middle of
the city. I'm so sick andtired of that crap. You would think

(01:59:34):
that I'd be going on here inCalie and like, we had one protest
here in Bakersfield and it didn't endwell for anybody involved. So that happened,
it stopped. Yeah, as longas they give you permission, you
can play there music. That's whatTony says. As long as you guys

(01:59:57):
give us permission. But the problemis the problem is is that Facebook would
recognize it as copywritten music off ofa label, and they still may just
say no. I think the problemif you guys want to put this video
up later, like in the future, then it might flag it right,

(02:00:23):
but you can set us the linking. We can always put it up on
it. Yeah, we can throwthe link up at least and ask people
to go watch it, so wecan definitely do that. No, you're
good, so send it any time, man, And I know you guys
want to go watch it. So, um, Tony, one more tattoo,

(02:00:43):
show you nice. It's a voodoodoll and it's upside down. I
um, I did Friday the Thirteenththing, and I mean I have a
few of those, as you couldtell. And Um, I was like,
He's all, where do you wantit? I'm like, I don't
know. Behind my ear. He'slike, oh, I can't do behind
your ear right now. And Iwas like, well, what usually hurts

(02:01:08):
the worst. He's all behind yourarm. I'm like, okay, fine,
buck it. Put it behind myarm. Le'll see how much that
hurts. Didn't hurt like at all. And Tony says postal Lincoln, I'll
share it. Um, he's abig fan and he'll do what he can
with it as well. So Imean a lot of these people will probably

(02:01:29):
share that, no questions asked. So you know, if you send it,
that would be great, not aproblem. But I don't want to
