Welcome to Talking Toys with Taylor andJeff, where we go back in time
to discuss our favorite toys, onetoy line at a time. Hello,
and welcome to Talking Toys with Taylorand Jeff Action Figure exclusive. I'm Taylor

(00:37):
and I'm Jeff, and it's theMasters of the Universe version of the show,
which is all you're gonna get fora while, folks. We talked
about this on our last episode, but now that we're done with the Kenner
Star Wars line, we're gonna takea break from that. We're just gonna
focus probably till the end of theyear on just Masters of the Universe and
give ourselves a break. You know, we've been doing the show for eleven

(00:57):
years now, coming up on elevenyears next month, so we're gonna give
ourselves a little bit of a breakand just give you two shows a month
for the time being, and thenafter the first of the year we'll come
back with I think we had talkedoriginally about just taking some time off until
past the summer, but I think, well, I think we've we've earned

(01:19):
a bit more of a break personally. Okay, you didn't discuss this with
Taylor all he's hearing it for thefirst time right now. But he would
never know that head and I mentionedthat, he would just assume we had
talked about it. Tell me I'mwrong. No, you're not wrong at
all. That's the sad part aboutit. Oh, it's not sad.
It's not sad. It's it's goodto be a goldfish. Like Ted Lasso
said, it's good to be agoldfish. Hey, I live in the

(01:41):
moment. Yes, yes you do. So what we're discussing today is the
two thousand X version of Tila sculptedby the Four Horseman and Taylor. You
do or do not have one ofthese in your collection right now? I
do have one? Yeah, okay, I was able to pick up a
delau. It's it's it's an interestingfigure. Well, we'll talk about like

(02:04):
like perks and downfalls of it whenwe get into it. But it's a
it's a pretty it's a pretty neatupdate it. Yeah, it looks good.
I can't figure out who she remindsme of. She reminds me of
an actress, but I can't quitefigure out who. I guess I'll maybe
figured out as we go along.Okay, but so this again, this
came out in the two thousand Xline and you mentioned that there was a

(02:28):
convention exclusive snake version. Tell meabout that. How how did that work?
Yeah, I think that was andI'm trying to remember that was a
um, it was a all timeI'm pulling it up here. I think
it. I say a convention exclusive. I believe that it was one of

(02:49):
those that was sold in a box, so kind of like the You Got
Me a Faker not too long ago. That was like a convention exclusive that
you had to get a particular conventionand at what a convention exclusive means?
Yes, but I'm trying to rememberwhich. Oh it doesn't matter which convention.
We'll be here all night if youhad to rely on your memory while

(03:12):
I was trying to look it up. But it was one of those where
they had a convention exclusive of Tilaand she came redecorated in with like scales
and kind of darker muted colors becauseit was towards the end of the line
when you had a lot of thesnake men in the TV show and so
like everyone kind of had snake armorand everything, and so they did a

(03:35):
repaint of Tela there. But it'sthe same body sculpt and everything, but
just a repaint, which made itkind of weird because in the show,
if I'm quickly, Tila never changes. It's manned arms that ends up getting
turned into a snake person at onepoint, right, but they had already
they did a snake version of manat arms, so this was just sort

(03:58):
of, I guess the next logicalstep maybe maybe in it, but that's
that's odd. But yeah, Idon't know that I would have liked that
because of all the things I coulddo with it, that's not what I
would have would have chosen to do. But anyway, so let's talk about
this when it's odd that Evil Lynncame out so much earlier in the line

(04:19):
than Tela did to me because theyalways seem like sort of a yin and
yang, right, So let's talkabout this when now starting at the top
with her hair. Her hair isis really weird. It's almost like,
um looks like anime or manga hairto me, because she's got like they're
not really bangs, but it's likeher hair is like being blown by the

(04:41):
wind, I guess in the front, and so she's got something just sticking
out. Is that what I'm seeing, yes. Yeah, So the very
front of it where um, whereit's like bangs being pulled up from her
face and blown over, is kindof and it takes off of some of
the the show intro when they're standingand they're doing their pose, she has

(05:04):
wind blow to the top of herbangs that blows up out of her face.
So it's it's kind of emulating thatum and the hair having shaped to
it and having this flow makes itlook like she's in kind of either she's
standing in the wind with a heroquepose or she's about to go into complete

(05:25):
action, right. It's it justI think it's weird to me because it
seems to be sticking out so farthat it almost looks like a mistake.
I could see that. I mean, they're I think at this point they're
they're kind of tying like with withTeela's hair, kind of the same thing

(05:46):
they did with Heman's hair. Andif you remember, Heman has a little
bit of the shaggy hair that's gotlike some some wind swept or some blow
too. Well. Yeah, butit's shorter hair, so it just it
looks wind swept rather than like it'sjust standing on end which is what this
looks like to me, I couldsee that a little bit. There's it's
it's hard to see in the picture, but there's fine like lion sculpting within
the hair. So it's whereas youlook at it from a distance, it

(06:12):
looks like it's thick pieces that arestanding out like hot dogs coming off the
top of her head. But thereare small minute like like um tooling in
there to show that those hairs andto show the the kind of the movement
of the hair. So once youstart looking at the figure as a hole
like close up, it's not sobad. But when you look at it

(06:32):
from a distance, yeah, it'skind of a nerving a little bit,
Yeah, a little bit. Butso regardless of the hair, well,
let's let's talk about the hair goingaround the back, you know, so
it's pulled tight other than this atthe front. But she's got some you
know, a few strands flowing downto the front, and then she's wearing
it's not is it a tiara? What? What? What is it that

(06:54):
she's got. It's it's not reallythat. It's sort of like a headbandholder,
right, like a yeah, it'sit's like so it is a kind
of a crownish sort of headband thatis ornate like a tiara, but it
does hold her hair back, soit wraps around her head and it holds
like a portion of her hair back, even though she's got it pulled into

(07:15):
a ponytel. And this is somethingthat she wears, I think in pretty
much every series. I mean, she even has that kind of crown in
the Vintage toy. The only timethat we see her without that is when
we get into Revelations after he Mandies. You know, she doesn't have

(07:36):
that, but that's something that wasalways portrayed on telis this kind of crowned
sort of armored headband, right,No, I get that. Yeah,
And it's in his painted gold andthat her hair, you know, is
underneath that, and it's pulled reallytight and then up in like a ponytail
on top of her head. AndI think it's interesting that they didn't bother

(07:58):
to paint the thing that's actually holdingher hair in place. It looks to
be the same color as her hair, so I assume that's all just one
color plastic, right, yeah?Yeah, And then the hair comes to
hold your hair is leather, soit's supposed to be leather, so yeah,
so it would be the same color. And then her hair comes down
and swoops down and then back outand it's flowing in the same direction as

(08:18):
the hair in the front. Itlooks and this is the part that makes
it look more like a manga oranime to me, just because you've got
these thick strands rather than you know, a lot of thin strands. I
can't really see a lot of detailin it, and I think that's where
I'm getting that anime vibe off ofit. Yeah. Well, I mean,
if you remember in the cartoon therethere is a bit of an anime

(08:39):
vibe in the way that they arestructured and built, and even some of
the well yeah, the cartoon itselfhad that kind of vibe. Yeah,
yeah, So it kind of makessense that they're that they're you know,
portraying it this way. Again, they were modernizing it, but they were
kind of giving in the rich sculptsthat anime buy and it carried over into

(09:03):
the cartoon. Okay, yea.And as far as her face sculpt goes,
she's got a very severe expression onher face. Um, it's a
good look. They've they've looks likethey've they've they've colored on her eyebrows to
where it looks like she's kind ofscowling a little bit. Yes, And
she's got like her jaw set.Her eyes are kind of wide, you

(09:26):
know, again, wider than Iwould expect, not not anime wide,
but a little wider. But that'sgiven them the opportunity than to paint pupils
and irises in there very really goodalong with them, with the eyelashes as
well, both top and bottom.Like it's it is a complete, like
beautifully rendered paint job on the eyeslike that looks incredible. Yeah, they

(09:50):
spent a lot of time on that, which which I think is good because
that's what makes it feel like areal person. Yep. And then coming
down from there, you know, her nose is small it would be,
and then her lips are very redand I sort of pursed again like she's
just sort of setting her jaw rightyep, Yeah, that's exactly what it
is. And then and that that'sit for the head sculp Now coming down

(10:15):
her and I'm assuming her neck ison like airhead is on like a ball
joint, is that right? No, it's not a ball joint. It
actually it's a swivel, so thatokay, comes up and there's a swivel.
There is some hindering with the betweenthe collar and the hair that does
allow for the head to turn completelyone way or the other. But she
has a decent forty five degrees worthof angle, like at the face,

(10:39):
so you can't pose her up alittle bit. And that's kind of one
of those downfalls that she has becauseof the collar and the hair. Okay,
yeah, it makes sense. Yeah, and uh so so going down
from there, she's wearing her hertorso and what you know, her I
guess her arm or whatever. Tome, looks very similar to the original

(11:03):
one, is it Is it similaror is it just the same colors?
And that's what's tricking me. It'svery similar. Um the the rams horns
that wrap up on the breastplate, the um, the actual gold in the
collar, the the kind of leafdesign that builds down from the front um

(11:24):
under the breastplate into the stomach area. All that is the same. It's
just modernized a little bit more so. I mean, there's there's a lot
of like really nice kind of moderntouches, but for the most part,
it is all the same deco it'san updated the of the design and the
same design just updated, Okay,And I'm good with that. I think

(11:46):
I think that was the right choicefor this one. It's it's white with
a lot of gold inlay stuff, especially around her chest area. Yeah,
and it looks and I again Ican't get a good close up shot on
my computer. It looks like it'sfairly ornate that that golden lay, am
I right there? Yeah, there'sum, there's small line work that's built

(12:07):
into the ram horns. There's likedouble lines that are built into the actual
like collar that comes down. There'ssmall lines built into each one of the
leaves that that follow upon the stomacharea. There's even like separation between the
plates on the shoulders and then theactual bodice area the um of the top,

(12:31):
along with small like line work builtinto the collar as well. There's
a lot of detail in this it'sfor it to be figured to look at
well. And she's and I assumethat the scale is a bit smaller than
some of the other larger male figures, right, it's a little more it's
it's smaller, so it I wouldimagine it would be a little more complex

(12:52):
to to do that kind of workwith. Yeah, okay, and they
coming around the back we have muchagain much it's the same. I can't
really see on her down her backbecause the pictures I've got to have her
sword, um, you know,in a scabbard on her back. Yes,
um, scabbard. That's not theright word, is it. It
is in this case. I meanit's not a full scabbard, but it's

(13:15):
um. It's more like, ohgoodness, I can't remember what they're called.
Um. It's basically a holster.Yeah, when I think of it
all, I'll let you know. There's a specific name for him. It's
like a leech or something. It'sit's a weird name. But the um
it looks like it has more ofthe gold inlay on it. It does
have a gold inlay on it,and the actual like plate portion feels segmented,

(13:39):
almost armored, so it's almost likethe shoulder plates have you know,
riveted like they're built into the armor, and this would plate down on top
of it with a strapping on it, and the strap has little rivets and
an extra like inlays and things likethat, along with tassels and pieces that

(14:00):
fall off the back of a platingon the back ye down over her waist.
So there's this taskle work that fallsoff of the armor that actually separated
from the waist and it is itconnected to the piece on her yes?
Yes, okay, so this isweird, So we'll talk we'll go back
around and talk about the front. But the back it looks like one giant

(14:22):
gold leaf covering her butt. Yes, is that what it's supposed to be.
Well, I mean it's not justa giant leaf there, armored plating,
but yes, her design is oneof nature. So a lot of
a lot of the stuff she hasis things from nature. And I know,
I say, like the ram hornsfor the bosom, it's more like

(14:43):
a fern because you know, it'san organic design. It's an organic design
because in the whole theory of it, Tela originally was to be the sorceress,
and the sorceress was supposed to beone with nature, so she's supposed
to be like a good which sortof thing. So Tila's design has always
reflected nature, and so they're reallyjust pulling off the stop. So this

(15:07):
reflection of nature for Tila. Okay, yeah, yeah, got it.
And so bringing that back around tothe front. We've got what would be
a cod piece on anyone else, but we've got basically, I guess you
could call it an apron coming downthe front, which looks the same.
It's this goal plating with their longerleaves, and I like that they've got

(15:30):
the vein running down the middle ofeach leaf and then the the you know,
the branches coming off of each onelike you would at an actual leaf.
They're just a little more They're muchmore symmetrical than they would be on
a real leaf. But I don'tmind it. It's it's it's a loin
cloth. It's an armored loincloth.Yes, what did I call it?
Huh? What did I call it? I can't remember. Oh, okay,

(15:50):
loin cloth is what I meant.Whatever I called it, right,
somebody's yelling at their phone right now, I can imagine. But yeah,
these are these are armored pieces thathang off of Now, this is where
some of that difference comes in becausethe original Tila it was like a one
piece bodice, right, So shehad like the underwear sort of thing that

(16:11):
her legs would set up into, and then there was like some leafwork like
design into the underwear. Bodice pieceor not bodice, but the underwear section
of the body suit. So thisis where it differs in that this time
she actually has the skirt that coverstheir legs, and it feels this feels

(16:34):
more natural versus a body suit.Like if I was to think about you
know, Eternia and think about youknow, what they would do, I
could imagine this easily more so thana body suit with leafwork on it.
Right, agreed, So this isthis is where they're taking that original design
and really giving it some like modernesthetic, but giving it some smart model.

(17:00):
I think, like people wouldn't wearthat, so they they're being honest
with that and they're changing those things. Yeah, no, I agreed,
it looks a little more I guessmedieval is the word I'm looking for.
Yeah, I was gonna say authentic, like it just this feels more natural.
I've heard of both ways, butso no. But it's really cool

(17:26):
though, And like I said,I like the way it's it's it's formed
there. And then her legs, let's go, let's talk about her arms
first, because she's got her Herarms obviously are much thinner than the guys,
but she's got bracers on her onher biceps going all the way around
there to gold and then bracelets aregauntlets I guess on her wrists that go
you know, up almost to herelbow, got halfway up to her elbow,

(17:51):
and these all look to be thesame sort of ornate goal that we've
been seeing on the rest of her. Your outfit, is that right?
Yeah, it's again same gold andthis is the same gold that's painted as
the headband and all the gold accentsthat are actually painted on the suit,
because some of this is casted ingold, some of it is painted um.

(18:12):
But it has all that same likekind of billigraphy sort of like bind
and natural organic line work and eachone of the pieces and each one they
kind of mimic each other, butthey're all unique to to the arm that
it's on. Like the design isfor the most part the same, but

(18:33):
not exact. Okay again again sortof from the cut from the same cloth,
so to speak, but unique.Yeah, on its own. Okay,
that's very cool. Okay. Soso that's that. That's her arm
and then her legs again, youknow, much the same that we talked
about with their arms there, it'snot that they're not muscular, they're just

(18:56):
not quite as toned I guess.M. Yeah, she's built like Galga
dot goadt as wonder woman to me, that's what it look like. Yes,
and her thighs are bare, butonce you get to her knees,
she's got boots that come up allthe way to her knees and looks like
they've got fur going around the edges. And then in front of her knees

(19:18):
there are there's some plating there thatI guess would be for her to kneel
with. Is that right? Yeaprotect your knee caps. And it's the
same it's the same design that's inthe body, so that kind of wrapped
ram horn slashed fern design and thisone, you know, it's it's unique
in that it is a nice updateto the original boots that we had because

(19:41):
the original boots hold, I'm gonnalook behind me. Yeah, the original
boots are kind of this like wrapup boots sort of thing, and these
feel like armored wrapped like warrior boots. What you think of his warrior boots.
They they are kind of on heels, so they do stand up a

(20:03):
little bit, but they don't feellike this would be out of the realm
of what someone would actually wear. And I like them because it's it's got,
you know, the plating in thefur that wrap up around each knee
and goes down and the rest isalmost wrapped with large leather straps that wrapped

(20:23):
down all the way to the footitself. They almost look like boots with
like extra leather coming up out ofthem. Yeah. Yeah, they they
they are like boots. And thenthey differentiated the boots and that they have
one boot that has kind of alike a what do you what do you
call those things that you'd wear overyour slats spats? Spats? She almost

(20:45):
has like one spat on one bootthat has kind of a a part cuff
on the top. Okay, that'swhat I'm seeing. Interesting, Yes,
yeah, exactly where they did that? Do you think? Well, so
a couple of things. That footis the foot where the chip lies.
So I think we d so eachfigure And that's something we didn't really talk

(21:08):
about. But in the first coupleof Waves had a electronic chip that came
in their foot, and if youwere to get Castle gray Skull that was
electronic, the chip would tell youwho his friend and who was foe and
who each character was. Okay,so it kind of like the world of
Simpsons when we had the world ofSpringfield back in the round the same time.

(21:30):
Okay. Cool. So so atthe castle, if you had let's
say, you brought Teal up,it would say something like and I've played
with it before. It it's notone hundred percent, but it's it's pretty
cool. It's a friend Teela. You may enter with he man and you
put Heman on there, and thedoor would open and it like thunder and

(21:51):
stuff. And then if you closethe door and you put like trap jar
or someone there, it would say, no, foe, you don't be
long here. And so instead oflike opening the door, it would flip
a plate black, a flip aplate back that would toss the character away
from the door. Nice. That'sreally cool. I think I vaguely remember

(22:14):
us talking about that when we talkedabout this line way back, probably ten
years ago or more. It's areally cool it's a really cool design.
It's actually you know, because Ididn't care quite so much for the design
of that castle grad Skull, butthe play features on it are really cool.
And you can there's even like aroom upstairs that I think only he

(22:34):
Man. I think it's just HeaMan could open it. It might be
Heman at Orco, but there's likejust two characters that can open it.
You stand on a plate and there'sa secret vault door that opens, and
you have a completely chrome power swordthat you can pull out of this vault
and it's you know, Heman's powersword. But you can see it from

(22:56):
outside, but you can't get toit unless you have heat Man to open
that vault door. Ooh, yeah, there's there's some really there's some really
cool cool stuff in it. They'vegot like dungeon doors and an actual dungeon
with gates that you fold, right, I do remember that from when we

(23:18):
talked about it. Yeah, yeah, good point. All right. Cool.
So that leaves us just the accessoriesto talk about. So let's start
with the shield. First of all, the shield is very small, but
I guess it fits her purposes. It looks like it might not be completely
round. Is it sort of bentup in places to make it look like
it seems some action? No,No, it's completely round. Okay.

(23:41):
They're pretty thin, so a lotof these they kind of get heat damaged
in the package easily. Okay, like I think even mine, Like I
ended up taking a hair dryer tomine and and just kind of like working
out the thing because mine was liketilted almost like a taco in a way
because it had gotten so much heatdamage. So there's just the thing is

(24:04):
really thin and it comes in twoparts. So you've got the clip with
a spoke that comes out, andyou've got the shield on top of it,
and you can clip that right ontothe wrist, and it's kind of
like it mimics the it it reallydoes mimic the kind of like battle shield

(24:25):
that she has in the show.So it's like a small shield just to
stop strikes or blows against the armand then she's able to carry on.
So it's like just a small likearm battalion shield. And what is the
design that sort of sculpted into it. It's supposed to be like etched into
it. It's just it's like ait's almost like a figure eight with swirls

(24:48):
around. It sort of matches herthe bodice, I guess, yeah,
her breastplate. Okay, very cool. And then she's also got the sword
that we talked about that is huge. It's probably three quarters as tall as
she is, Yeah, but it'snot as big as Heman's sword. This

(25:11):
sword reminds me a lot of Shea'ssword. And this was one of those
things at first that a lot offans were kind of wondering, like,
are are we going to do sheread all in this series or not?
And so I think they kind ofplay against that and to put something out.
They came out with this particular sword. And I say that because if

(25:32):
you remember, the Shea sword hasgot you know, some it's got a
jewel in it because it was,you know, he Man's was by the
power of graces called by power ofgood. Hers was for the magic of
good or something. And it hasa stone in it which is a stone
of protection. And so they kindof did that design for Teal and I

(25:52):
think it's because they didn't think thatthey were going to do a sa figure
at all all, so they kindof use some of that imagery in this
sword. And it's it's cool becauseit's got you know, and it's build
for the hilts and where the palmmelnow everything is where it comes up.
It almost looks snakelike in a waya little bit. Yeah, but it

(26:15):
still feels like almost like the wingwork that's in them. The sword for
Shira, it will and I likethe is it kind of the purplish lavender
stone in the middle of it onthe on the hilt, I really like
that. It's it's cool. It'sit's all cast in the bronze and then

(26:37):
it's got the lavender paint and thensilver paint for the blade and oftentimes you'll
see it where the silver paint startingto break off, right, Yeah,
yeah, no, it's it's ait's a really cool sword. Um.
And and what is the design youmay have mentioned, is what is the
design coming down on the sword itself. It looks like it says something it

(26:59):
doesn't. It's a lot of thesame design as a shield, okay,
where it has kind of that weirdfigure eight sort of look, and then
right around it it's kind of thatjust elongated. Okay, that's must be
why it looks like it says somethingthat makes sense. And then we have
the staff, which this is whatthis was her accessory in the original line.
She didn't did she come with Shedidn't come with a with a sword
in the original line, did sheno? And the original figure she came

(27:22):
with the cow that king cow staff, the staff and the cow. So
instead of the cow, we gota sword this time, and we got
this this staff. And the staffis interesting because it is actually taller than
her. But I love the waythat we got these like these cutout lines
going up it, you know, these sort of ridged lines going up it.

(27:45):
And then you get to the snaketoteum at the top or the you
know the whatever, the trophy lookingthing at the top, and it actually
bends a little bit and comes backlike a snake's neck wood, yes,
and then it's almost bronze or atleast it looks bronze in this photo.
Yep. This was this was tokind of give that image of the of
that snake or the goddess. Look. Whereas the original the original staff doesn't

(28:12):
have quite so much flare to it, this one does and it really does
mimic that cow very well. Andhow sturdy is this because it looks like
it might be kind of thin,it's pretty sturdy. It's made it two
pieces, so the the cobra itactually can turn at the top of the

(28:34):
staff where the co and the staffmeet, and the staff does have a
little bit of movement, especially ifit's been heated, but it works really
well to hold her up. Ohso that's a good sort of works as
a stabilizer for her, it reallydoes. Yes. One of the problems
that we have with Tila, andit's I love the figure, it's a

(28:56):
great figure, but both Tila andevil Lyn have this issue where they're cut
from the same body type with newdetails at it on, and both of
them have a certain pose in theirlegs that make them face heavy. So
often times Tela will crash face firstin the ground because her legs don't have

(29:18):
enough room forward to keep her fromfalling forward. And so the staff,
you'll see, most people take thatand use that to keep her keep her
leaned forward. Okay, that's good. I like that. And since since
you said the shield, does theshield snap on one of her wrists,

(29:38):
yep, So she can hold thestaff in one hand the sword in the
other, and have the shield thereyep, and everything's okay, yep,
awesome, she doesn't break your actionfigure role. And she also has the
sword sheath in the back right,so she could carry it there, but
if she didn't need it, youknow. Yeah, So that's that's great,

(30:00):
all right. Cool, So thenwhat is your favorite feature about this
toy? So I love the actuallike bodice work, the neck and the
torso, the way that they wereable to sculpt and cast the plastic and
multiple pieces to stick together. Ithink it's brilliantly done. And it is

(30:22):
beautiful, beautiful, beautiful line workin there. So, like the top
half, tooling and sculpting is amazing. I agreed. I think for me,
I think my favorite thing of featureabout this toy is I think it's
at staff. I think I reallyliked that staff. That's a cool staff,

(30:42):
especially because you, like you said, the top of it turns.
But I also like the gold armorthat we've got that looks like leaves.
So it's gonna be one of thosetwo. I'm gonna cheat and say one
of those two. I can't reallydecide which of the two I like better
because the gold plating stuff the armorlooks like leather, but it's supposed to

(31:03):
be gold, and that's really coolto me. What is your least favorite
feature about this toy? My leastfavorite has to do with the position of
the feet. She looks but well, I'm okay with certain areas of preposing,
but she does tend to fall forwardand it doesn't help and that,

(31:23):
you know, the waste itself hasthat spring loaded action feature, so you
can't really turn the legs one wayor another to kind of put feet underneath
her more. That's just kind ofthe way it is. So it does
kind of hinder some of the posingthat you can do with the way those

(31:45):
feet are are posed, because itdoesn't allow for a stable figure unless she
had that staff in her hand.Yeah, I can see that, and
I think for me, I thinkit's a hair at the front. I
don't know why. It just bugsme. I could see that. It
just bugs me. I wish thatit didn't, but it does bug me.

(32:07):
It just looks awkward, and Ithink it's because it comes up and
it goes it's very flat across thetop. It almost looks like it's hairsprayed
like that. Yeah, And youknow, I grew up in a small
East Texas, Northeast Texas town inthe nineties where bangs. You know,
the thought behind bangs was the higher, the higher the hair, the closer
to Heaven. Yeah, it catchthe waves, man, and that kind

(32:29):
of that's what it kind of remindsme of. So I think that's gonna
be mine. Okay, what aboutthis toy exemplifies the line as a whole,
you know, for for this toymore so than a lot of the
others, and you know, justfor this line as a hole, it
is a nice nod and a winkand a modernization of what came before.

(32:50):
Like this is Tela in every aspectyou look at it, you can tell
exactly who she is. However, there's some modernisation in there that makes her
feel a little more grounded in theworld now instead of back then. That's
exactly what I was going to say. We're in agreement there. I feel
like it's it's the same character, but it's updated. Yeah, yeah,

(33:15):
they did. They didn't reinvent thewheel here. They just took what they
had and made it better. Andthat's the strength of this line, I
think in a lot of ways.Yeah, I agree on that one,
all right. So then the finalquestion is is this toy cool? Yes?
Yes, And it's worth having yourcollection if you if you want all
the original characters, she's definitely worthhaving. I know it is a cool

(33:36):
figure. I'll agree with you there, It is a cool figure, you
know, everything notwithstanding you know,I think it's weird that she's got that
boot that's a little bigger than theother because of the chip. I feel
like they could have hidden that better. But it's overall, I like the
design. I think it's okay.I like that asymmetrical design. I think
it works. Yeah, it doesn'tkill it for me. In the fact

(33:59):
that her fee are pretty far apartbecause of the way she's posed helps it
be less noticeable. So yeah,No, this toy is definitely cool.
So they have a Folks, we'dlove to hear your thoughts of Antila,
and if you have one in yourcollection, we'd love to see it to
