Many paid tribute to the 13 American service members who were killed four years ago in the terrorist attack at Abbey Gate during the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan during the Biden regime.

Trump fired Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook (or maybe not... the courts will decide what constitutes "cause") over allegations of mortgage fraud.

The "complicated" situation surrounding the FireAid concert and the huge amount of money it raised getting into the hands of actual victims is not just "complicated" but also "equity" based. It had been seven months, and despite statements that the funds would go directly to victims, the funds instead went to a vast network of nonprofit organizations. Information is now coming out about who a few of these nonprofit organizations were that were "tasked with helping fire victims." But their "task" appeared more like promoting left-wing issues and causes. H/T to Becky Noble of Red State.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy has given California, New Mexico, and Washington 30 days to comply with federal English proficiency rules for truckers or risk losing federal funding. Duffy criticized the three states for failing to enforce new Trump administration rules requiring English proficiency for truck drivers. He announced the move after the Department of Transportation launched an investigation into a deadly August 12 crash on the Florida Turnpike, in which an illegal immigrant driver allegedly killed three people after making an illegal U-turn. All three states played a role in Harjinder Singh being in a position to perform the illegal U-turn that cost three Florida residents' lives. (Just as an FYI, More than 2.5 million people have signed a Change. org petition directed toward Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis and the Florida Board of Executive Clemency, urging them to consider that Harjinder Singh, the illegal immigrant truck driver charged with three counts of vehicular homicide for killing three people while making an illegal U-turn, has no criminal history and simply made a "terrible mistake.")

Judge Alan Johnson of the District of Wyoming dismissed a lawsuit with prejudice, claiming that the three plaintiffs — Hannah Holtmeier, Allison Coghan, and Haley Rutsch — failed in their amended complaint to convince the court to "interfere with Kappa Kappa Gamma's contractually valid interpretation of its own Bylaws." This, partially based on the fact that Judge Johnson "doesn't have a degree in biology" and therefore can not define what a woman is.

Chip and Joanna Gaines shove a thumb in the eye of their "former" fans again. This time with their newest, soon-to-be-released show, Roller Jam. The roller skating contest includes an LGBTQ activist as a host, an all-LGBTQ roller skating team, and a cross-dressing judge. That doesn't seem very "evangelical Christian," which the Gaineses built their television empire claiming to be.

kind of teased it already. What do you say we
start with the fourth anniversary of the abbey Gate Debacle.

Speaker 5 (05:51):
Thank you very much. This is a very special group
of people. I've been with them from the beginning abby Gate.
It's a four year anniversary, so we're signing a honoring
them and honoring you and honoring your loved one.

Speaker 6 (06:04):
These families deserve answers.

Speaker 7 (06:06):
We're gonna be honest about it.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
We're gonna get to the bottom of it.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
And I know from this President as he's made a
commitment that that memory will not be forgotten.

Speaker 8 (06:12):
We're so proud of you. We're so proud of your
loved ones. We're given their life for our country. This
is a rectification of a wrong. We correct that wrong
today that we're to keep on fighting and to understand,
as Pete said, what happens so it never happens to.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
An other family again. But God love you all, God
bless you.

Speaker 8 (06:25):
We're so thrilled to have you here in the People's
Oval Office.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
All right. So there was audio from a video clip
that was released by the White House. They were playing
host to several family members of those who paid the
ultimate price, as one Joseph Robin at Biden Jr. Seemed
to not understand the consequences of giving an order of

(06:54):
withdrawal with no planning. Of course, we're talking about the
disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan standing and we're talking about the
terror attack that took place at the Abbey Gate of
the airport. It cost the lives of thirteen American service members,

(07:14):
so a lot of people have been playing tribute. Donald
Trump was saying yesterday that he would like to actually
make this a day of remembrance period, put it on
the federal holiday calendar. Of course, you know there is
a difference between holidays and days of remembrance, but we

(07:38):
tend to put them all on the same calendar for
whatever reason. Four years it seems like a lifetime ago
because of how compact, how dense, how much has been
going on during the Trump administration, and of course this

(07:59):
happened relatively relatively early into the Biden administration. Four years.
It just it seems like it was further than that now.
Of course, the attack that we're talking about, it was
carried out by isis K terrorists that happened on August

(08:20):
twenty sixth of twenty twenty one, targeted the chaos and
crowds at the International Airport in Kabo, Afghanistan. Chaos that
some journalists are very diplomatically saying might have been avoided altogether.
I'm going to say should have been avoided all together.

(08:43):
Definitely could have been avoided all together if the person
currently residing as well, not currently, but if the person
who was residing at that time at sixteen hundred Pennsylvania
Avenue had not so badly botched what they claimed to
be a plan to end the current operations of US

(09:08):
military in Afghanistan, a haphazard, fly by the seat of
your pants notion of evacuating American service members, civilians, and
supposedly allies. Although they didn't seem to go out of
their way to bring very many of the allies out
at that point. In fact, they didn't go out of

(09:29):
their way to get civilians out of them, as far
as I can tell about, the only thing they actually
did go out of their way for was to make
sure that we left millions and millions of dollars of
our equipment in airbases that we had established just so

(09:49):
the Taliban could seize control. Of course, Donald John Trump
had announced one day prior then he would set aside
a day to commemorate the loss of those thirteen had
mentioned he would like to see it, as I already said,

(10:10):
become a regular thing permanently on the American calendar. Of course,
we're talking about Staff Sergeant Darren Hoover, the United States
Marine Corps. We're talking about Sergeant Johnny Picardo, United States
Marine Sergeant Nicole Gee. Also, Marines Corporate Hunter Lopez, Marines

(10:38):
Corporate Corporal Dagan Page, Marines Corporal Humberto Sanchez, Marine Corps
Lance Corporal David Espinoza, Marine Corps Lance Corporal Jared Smith's
Marine Corps A Lance Corporal Rayley McCollum, United States Marine

(11:02):
Corps Lance Corporal Dylan Marlow. I'm Marlow, I'm butchering the name.
I apologize. Lance Corporal Kareem Nakoule, Petty Officer third Class

(11:23):
Maxton Sevak of the United States Navy. First non Marine
Corps member here, Staff Sergeant Ryan Canassas. Now, these thirteen

(11:44):
should never be forgotten, and yet this is one of
the quickest things that the last administration wanted the American
people to forget. So bringing family members in, setting it
a day aside to remember them, it is the very
least that we could do. And I'm grateful to have

(12:08):
somebody currently residing at sixteen hundred Pennsylvania Avenue who understands
that amongst the multitude of things that he's currently juggling,
amongst all the important things that are going on right now.
The battles, the fights, the negotiations, the effort to take
criminality out of de See, the effort to bring Russia

(12:33):
to the table so that there might be some semblance
of peace between Russia and Ukraine, the effort to maintain
balance throughout the country, and to continue to keep the
Democrats wrongfooted and to keep the legacy corporate media wrongfooted.
To take the time to set aside, to welcome the

(12:55):
family of these fallen service members into the Life House,
and to pay them some respect, to acknowledge the loss.
It's vitally important that we do this. They should not

(13:18):
be forgotten. I for one, am firmly on board with
making it a formal federal day of remembrance every year.
We can call it Abbygate Day if you want to.
You can come up with something a little less politically charged,
if you want to. The important thing here isn't about

(13:38):
pointing the fingers at Joe Biden forever. The important thing
here because we know Joe Biden really wasn't behind most
of what happened there anyway. But the important thing here
is remembering the sacrifice and remembering the results of what
happens when we operate by the seat of our pants.

(13:59):
When we fail to actually put in place a well
thought out, well proportioned plan and then execute it, it
cost lives. And in this case, we're honoring the lives
of those American service people, men and women who wore
the uniforms of the United States Marine Corps in the

(14:21):
United States Navy men and women who showed up, did
their job, performed their duty, and lost their lives as
a result of horrifically ridiculous lack of planning an execution
that came from their superiors. They followed those orders anyway,
trying to offer protection to the crowds that were surrounding them,

(14:45):
to the plane that was trying to get out of there,
and to the men and women the United States service
members on board the plane, the United States citizens on
board the plane, and a few of our Afghan allies
who were forced enough to be permitted on board. There
was Tragically, not very many of those folks were particularly

(15:10):
well vetted. The ones that we know for a fact
were in harm's way. They didn't get them out. But
any plan, any plan at all, that left Afghanistan back
in the hands of the Taliban, was a bad plan.

(15:35):
I'm not gonna I'm not gonna dwell on that part.
I'm not gonna go down that rabbit hole right now.
Maybe another time. Today is the day to remember the
sacrifice of those thirteen thirteen that we remember thirteen that
would probably still be alive if it wasn't for those failures.

(15:58):
But we'll talk about those failures another day. Their families
deserve better than that. We will not make this about
Joe Biden. We will not make this about democratic we
will not make this about leftist global policy, will not
make this about any of the failures that took place
that day. We will make this about the courage, bravery,

(16:19):
and honor that these young Americans displayed, standing their post
and trying to do their jobs as they were ordered,
for better or for uce. But I have got to

(16:40):
change the subject or I will fall into that trap,
because that is a place that I want to discuss,
the place I want to go because I feel so
ridiculously angered that these men and women had to pay
that ultimate price based on a stupid political decision. So

(17:08):
let's change the subject. Let's take a look at some
of the other things going on. Obviously, we've got some
good Trump bad Trump going on, and I'm going to
get into that. I think this next story actually does
fall into the category of bad Trump, and I will
explain why, although I know a lot of people aren't
going to feel the same way about it. Donald John Trump,

(17:30):
you know, the Orange man who's bad, the kick her
of puppies to eat her babies, the climate arsonists. He
told Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook that she had been
terminating yesterday Monday, citing allegations of mortgage fraud, saying, quote,
pursue it to my authority under Article two of the
Constitution of the United States and the Federal Reserve Act

(17:52):
of nineteen thirteen, as amended, you are hereby removed from
your position on the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve,
effective immediately. Trump wrote that in a letter, the Federal
Reserve Act provides that you may be removed, continuing to
quote from the letter, provides that you may be removed

(18:14):
at my discretion for cause. I have determined that there
is sufficient cause to remove you from your position.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
Now.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
Trump, of course cited the allegations by Housing the Federal
Housing Finance Agency. Of course, that came from Director Bill Pollett,
who accused Cook of claiming two separate properties as her
primary address within weeks of purchasing each with financing. Basically

(18:43):
mortgage fraud, the same type of mortgage fraud that we've
seen Adam Shifts and of course everybody's favorite da from
the state of New York, who's still trying to deny
that anything about is going to happen, in claiming she's
still one in her effort to try and to destroy

(19:03):
the Trump business. You know that half billion dollar fine thing. Anyway,
President Trump purported to fire me now against I'm quoting Cook. Now,
President Trump purported to fire me for cause when no

(19:24):
cause exists under the law and he has no authority
to do so. I will not resign. I will continue
to carry out my duties to help the American economy
as I had been doing since twenty twenty two. All right,
So now that's Cook's response. She released that in a statement. Cook,

(19:49):
who has not been charged with the crime at this point,
has hired an attorney. The attorney by the name of
Abbie Lowell. Lawell is a veteran defense attorney with decades
of experience representing high profile political figures including Bill Clinton,

(20:12):
Bob Menndez and Hunter Biden, just to name a few.
Quoting here again, President Trump has taken to social media
to once again fire by tweet, and once again his
reflex to bully is flawed and his demands lacking any

(20:32):
proper process basis or legal authority. We will take whatever
actions are needed to prevent his attempted legal action all
right now. According to the official accusation against Cook, they
claim that Cook has falsified bank documents and property records

(20:57):
in order to purchase two properties, a house in an arbor,
Michigan and a condo in Atlanta. This was even reported
by CNN. Mortgage documents showed that Cook took out mortgages
on both properties and claimed both as her primary residents.
Trump said this past Monday that questions about Cook's integrity

(21:21):
have undermined American's confidence in her ability to serve on
the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve has tremendous responsibility for
setting interest rates and regulating reserve and member banks. Again
this is quoting Trump again. The American people must be

(21:42):
able to have full confidence in the honesty of the
members entrusted with studying policy and overseeing the Federal reserve
in light quoting here yet again from a different statement,
in light of your deceit, full and potentially criminal conduct

(22:03):
in a financial matter, they cannot and I do not
have such competence in your integrity. At a minimum, the
conduct that issue exhibits the sort of gross negligence and
financial transactions that cause into question your competence and trustworthiness
as a financial regulator. That was back in the letter

(22:27):
that he said. Okay, so let's address a couple of
things real quick. First of all, the attorney for Cook
who claims that Donald Trump tried to fire by tweet. No,
he did go on to truth Social. He did make
some statements on truth Social. He informed the American public
via truth Social that he had taken the step. But

(22:51):
in his mind he does have cause and that he's
moving forward with said CAUs. So, no, this wasn't fire
by by ex post by Truth's social post. It wasn't
a social media firing. This was actually Donald Trump sending
the official letter and taking other steps. Now that part

(23:16):
is okay, that part is good. He is done found
and the point that he's trying to make if indeed
we have a situation where good old Bill at the
Federal Housing Finance Agency is absolutely correct. If Lisa Cook

(23:39):
did in fact violate federal mortgage laws and has clearly
committed financial crimes, then she should be removed. That is
with cause, right. But the problem is, and here's where

(23:59):
this becomes bad Trump instead of good Trump. We don't
know if she did that or not. All we have
right now is an allegation. Now, there may be credible allegations,
she may very well be guilty, but until she is
found guilty through due process, what we have is an allegation.

(24:22):
And we've said this a multitude of times. Here this
kind of goes right back into the same things we've
been arguing about that we were saying that the Democrats
were wrong to do against Trump, and in this case,
we just we want to see Trump get his justice,

(24:43):
but we have to be careful that we walk that
fine line between what is justice and what is vengeance.
Some of y'all out there listening, you probably do want vengeance.
You're ready to make that move, and they're like, yes, yeah,
let's go get it. Revenge dish best served cold, but
we'll take it still lukewarm at this point. Let's go
get up. The problem with that is. It is just

(25:05):
as wrong when it's done this way as it is
when the other side does it. To Trump or to us.
Due process is a thing that does have to be
carried out now. I, for one, I respected political appointees
and political office holders that when accused of something innocent

(25:30):
or guilty, they would resign in the interest of letting
the work of the people to be conducted. They would go,
they'd clear their names, and then they would try to
work their way back into a public position based on
the fact that they had cleared their name. I preferred
that now that is something that has gone away. It's

(25:57):
gone away for two reasons because number one, the political left,
when they commit an act of fraud or criminality, they're
never going to deny it. They're going to going to
They're never going to admit it. They are going to deny, deny, deny,
And as a part of that, they're also going to
cling to whatever power and authority they've managed to garner.
In the meanwhile, they're going to make you pry it

(26:20):
from their cold dead hands, or at the very least
from their hands that have been handcuffed and put behind
their backs, and circulations starting to cut off so it's
not dead, but it may be starting to get a
little cald, you know what I'm saying. The problem here
is this is still just an accusation, and again maybe

(26:44):
a very good one. But I know I'm not the
only person out here that got angry every time we
heard the Left use the phrasing credibly accused. I believe
the accusation. It's probably true. I believe that there is
an entire large number of Democrats and probably a fair

(27:08):
number of Republicans who've done the same thing mortgage fraud.
For the people who know how to play the game,
they play it, they go, they do the thing, and
unfortunately you and I would be setting into jail cell
for doing it. We'd be losing our property, we'd be
losing all of our stuff, and we'd lose our freedom.

(27:29):
But there still needs to be due process, and I
can't expect due process for me if I don't expect
due process for them. The other reason why other than
the Democrats doing this is at this point, the Democrats
also know that if the Republicans are going to resign
just at being accused, then they're just gonna make a
bunch of accusations. They're gonna make all the good people

(27:50):
who are going to stand up and fight to fix things,
to return things, to restore liberty and dignity to the
federal government, they're gonna just make a bunch of accusations
about them, and they should just retire, right They should
just resign. They should just step aside. We wouldn't have
Pete Hegseth in office right now if we let that happen,

(28:11):
we wouldn't have Actually, there's a ton of folks associated
with the Trump administration and who are Trump judicial nominees
that wouldn't be in their current positions if they just
resign because of the accusation, because of the Democrats know
to play that side of the equation too. So we

(28:33):
can't just make credibly accused or partially accused, or I
got a gut feeling you did something bad the primary
basis for making a move like this. It's very specific.
Donald Trump does have the authority to remove any part

(28:54):
of the federalities that are with cause a simple accusation
at this stage in the game, I don't believe qualifies.
And your lack of confidence, my lack of confidence, even

(29:16):
Donald Trump's lack of competence in this instance, in this
particular position, that doesn't constitute as being with cause I
don't like it. I mean, I'm with you. I want
her gone because I believe she committed it. But what
I believe isn't really the point, and that should be

(29:40):
the case also even for the commander in chief in
this instance, as much as I hate that, and I
really do hate that, all right before we so when
you further, what do you say we take him to

(30:02):
mid hour break? You guys, don't go anywhere. I will
be right back.

Speaker 9 (30:13):
Do you know why some wise people say to live
like a wolf? Hello, I'm Ron Edwards on today's pace
from your bridge notebook. Well, first, wolves will never eat carcasses.
You will never see or hear about a wolf performing
in a circus. Unlike some other animals, a wolf will
never mate with its mother or sisters. A wolf typically

(30:33):
mates with one wolf for life, and the female does
the same. In the event of the spouse's death. The
living wolf mate mourns for no less than three months
in the morning, can last up to an entire year.
The wolf is called the righteous son because it is
the only animal that honors their parents when they reach
old age and can't keep up with the pack for hunting.

(30:56):
The older parents remain in the den while the younger
wolves hunt for them and bring them food. As humans,
we have a lot to learn from wolves. My fellow humans.
We must do better. I'm run Edwards Joli weekdays Monday
through Friday. To find out where, go to the run
edwards dot com run.

Speaker 6 (32:04):
Being Stocks designs specifically for people who haven't started investing yet,
or don't know how to do it, or having been
trained how to do it, or are worried about investing
in the stock market that they've.

Speaker 1 (32:14):
Never done before.

Speaker 6 (32:15):
It's a robo advisor system that really simplifies the investing process.
The challenge we all have is that as you work
and you grow in your career, you have to put
something aside for yourself when you retire around sixty five
years old.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
And the idea of.

Speaker 6 (32:29):
Being Stocks is to simplify that whole process. In other words,
put aside ten percent of your salary each week, maybe
just one hundred dollars, and let it go to work
in the stock market for you. And what beingstock does
is basically automate that process for you. Easy to set up.
You can transfer girkle to your bank account and puts
it into exchange traded funds, which are baskets of many stocks,
which gives you diversification. That's the whole key. The idea

(32:52):
that you can have this done for you weekly or
bi monthly. But the most important thing is to start
now and make it so that you are putting something
aside for your own retirement. Be Sauce just makes it
really simple to do.

Speaker 12 (33:41):
From the Icelandic water that flows from glaciers through Labba
fields and delivers some of the purest water underth Knowing
that beer is nine water, we source the first and
most vital ingredient from the local springs of a mountain
that stands guard over the town of Vaccuary, just sixty

(34:02):
miles south of the Arctic Circle. Einstock Beer is crafted
with locally sourced ingredients and the brewery runs from the one
hundred percent renewable energy sources geothermal and hydropower. Einstock has
become the number one craft beer and also the number
one alcohol export from Iceland. Here in the United States,

(34:25):
you can find Einstock beer on the shelves at retail
chains like ABC Fine Wine and Spirits, Bemo, cost Plus,
World Market, HB in Texas, Kroger Publis, Target, Total Wine, Trader, Joe's,
and Whole Foods, just to name a few. So won't
you raise a glass and drink conquer Repeat Skull.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
This is Tim Tap, host of Tapping to the Truth
that you can hear every Friday night from seven to
nine pm Eastern on the k Star Talk Radio Network,
Liberty Talk FM, and the Vara Network.

Speaker 13 (35:48):
Hi, this is Matt Fitzgibbons at Patriot music dot com.
If you share my passion for the simple but timeless
principles that made our republic great and you like rock music,
check out my five albums and videos on American history
at Patriot music dot com.

Speaker 3 (36:02):
You say is using both ends, You gotta degree.

Speaker 4 (36:11):
The way God man and I will be ruled by
the damn you.

Speaker 10 (36:17):
When this is there fewer and you're listening to Tim

(36:37):
Tap that Tapped into the Truth.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
Already, ladies and gentlemen, Before we get back into the action,
I've got to remind you about making sure that you're
getting your daily dose of the revolutionary new daily drink
from Roundhouse Provisions. Of course, I'm talking about Morning Kick.
Morning Kick. It combines ultra potent greens like spirolina and
kale with probiotics and pre biotics and collagen and even

(37:22):
Oshawa Ganda. You just mix it with water, stir it.
You can mix it with anything you like. I'd prefer
to do it with green tea myself, but you just
stir it and bam, there you go. Unlike other green
drinks out there, this one tastes like strawberry lemonade, or
at least it tastes like lemonade to me. I've never
really gotten a strawberry. I think that might just meet.

(37:43):
Plus they've got a brand news flavor around now, mint watermelons.
Still haven't had a chance to try it yet, but
I look forward to giving it a shot when I
placed my next order, which is gonna be a little
while down the road because I ordered three of these
bad boys at a time. But it's good stuff anyway.
Since I've started drinking morning kick. I've never felt better.

(38:06):
I had a long standing digestive issue that really this
did the trick. Other stuff I've been trying a long time,
I had an occasional short term relief, never really solve
a problem. As long as I'm taking this, drinking it daily,
I just feel better. Plus it does give me a

(38:26):
boost of energy. Don't know that it'll work as well
for you, but who knows. It's possible it might even
work better for you than it does for me. Only
one way for you to find out, and that's to
go to chuckdefense dot com, backslash, tapp and place in
order today. Now, the reason you want to go to
the landing page with that backslash and the tapp two reasons.

(38:48):
You get to do me a favor. You get to
let them know I sent you, and you get to
do yourself a favor by locking in a forty four
percent discount off of the regular price of your order.
Now you might be saying, well, why do I need
to place in order to find out if this works well?
Because you got to try it right. But here's the

(39:10):
good part. You're not out anything if for some reason
you don't like you got ninety days, boys and girls,
ninety days to get that money back if you so choose,
meaning you have more than enough time to go through
an entire container and decide if you're seeing the results now.
I would give it at least a couple of weeks

(39:31):
before you try evaluating what kind of impact it's had.
The impact can be subtled at first, it can be gradual,
but you will notice it long term. I promise you,
if it's gonna work for you at all, you will
know within a couple of weeks you got ninety days.
So again, if you want to experience smoother or digestion,

(39:55):
a boost of energy, or just overall healthier body, please
give it a try. Go to Chuck Defense dot com,
backslash tapp and go there today. So one of the
stories that friend of the show and journalist over at
Red State, Becky Noble, has been following is the questions

(40:21):
around where did the money go from the fire Aid concert.
She wasn't the first reporter to raise the question, but
she's certainly been reporting on it very strongly since then,
and there's been a bit of a follow up. So
if you have not been keeping track and reading what

(40:41):
Becky's been writing about this. This one got a lot
of attention started yesterday and a lot of folks are
still talking about it. So, with hopefully Becky's good graces here,
I'm going to read you a big chunk of her
article with the understand complete and total hat tip to

(41:02):
Becky Noble. Please actually go to RedState dot com and
read it for yourself, because I'm not going to read
the whole thing. They're still going to be worthwhile stuff here.
But here's the deal. Things don't seem to be getting
much better for Californians affected by January's horrific wildfires. Virtually
no homes have been rebuilt, and California Governor Gavin Newsom

(41:26):
appears too busy getting ready to run for president in
twenty twenty eight to help his constituents in the rebuilding process.
Being the people Americans are, they immediately stepped up to
help in any way they could, including donating money. A

(41:46):
star studded benefit concert fire Aid took place at the
end of January, raising nearly one hundred million dollars. However,
the whereabouts of those funds has raised many questions, including
about fire Aid's promise to distribute funds equitably. This seems

(42:10):
to be where the problem has come out. Now. You
and I may remember, if you watched any of this
Fire Aid concert, certain folks stepping forward making the statement
that this financial assistance would be going directly to the
victims of the fires. You may remember that, because there
were multiple people saying this. I specifically remember one, Stamuel L. Jackson,

(42:34):
making that statement. I think I missed the other times
it was mentioned, because I have to admit I didn't
watch the whole thing. I didn't see part of it.
I prefer to make a contribution to help as the
victims of the fires through a different method. I did
not do anything through the Fire Aid concert because I

(42:59):
had question students about people who were running it, and
as it turns out, those questions seems to have been
My spider sense is tingling rather well. Back in July,
Becky reported on the complicated situation surrounding the Fire Aid
Concert and the huge amount of money that it raised.

(43:22):
At that point, it had been several months since the fire,
and residents were starting to ask where's the money. I
remember we're talking July from January. We're talking about seven
months time since this happened. Now, everybody knows and understands

(43:43):
that it might take a while to get all the
accounts situated, get the funds pulled in, somebody makes a contribution. Now,
if you're just calling in and making a pledge, then
you're excited about the pledge to mount you don't always

(44:03):
get everything that's pledged, So it takes some time. But
seven months for people that are desperately trying to get
their life back on track, it's a bit long. Investigative
journalists to Pasco discovered that the funds did not in
fact go directly to fire victims, as multiple people Samuel L. Jackson,

(44:29):
I'm looking at you said during the concept and you
know what, I don't know. They may have been told
that it would be going directly to They may have
been told a lot of things. It might have been
a just right in the moment statement. It doesn't matter

(44:50):
those statements were made. But it was discovered that the
funds did not go directly to fire victims. Were never
going to go directly to fire victims, but instead to
a vast network, not just one or two folks, but
a complete network of nonprofit organizations. Now information began to

(45:12):
surface on who a few of these nonprofit organizations just
so happened to be. And remember, these are the folks
that were tasked with helping fire victims. But their task
it appears to be more like, I don't know, let's say,
promoting left wing issues and causes than helping the fire victims. Now,

(45:36):
of course we know that one of those left wing
causes is equity, and sure enough, in February, fire Aid
announced that it would distribute the money raised equitably. Now,
g what could possibly go wrong there? I mean, the

(45:57):
people of California love equity. They're all about equity. Right,
this is a good thing, right, What could possibly go wrong?

Speaker 3 (46:08):
Well?

Speaker 1 (46:10):
Plenty. Actually, if you happen to be a victim of
the fires who doesn't have a sufficient amount of skin tone,
if you happen to be a white Caucasian, maybe you're

(46:30):
at the bottom of the list. Maybe you're not even
on the list. It depends on which one of these
organizations are actually slated to help you. If you haven't
to be a white fire victim, you're not going to
get a whole lot of help from these organizations. Now,

(46:53):
fire Aid distributed four point eight million dollars to Green
Line Housing Voundation on the website for green Light Housing Foundation,
they state that their mission is quote providing down payment grants,
financial education, and a home maintenance assistance to qualified Black

(47:16):
and Hispanic people. Black and Hispanic people.

Speaker 4 (47:24):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (47:25):
Nobody else. Whites need not apply right an interview with
the Washington Free Beacon, the foundation made the obligatory statement
that while quote anyone is welcome to apply for and
receive funds specifically for fire victims, However, in order to

(47:50):
qualify for a grant through Green Line Housing Foundation, applicants
must be Black or Hispanic. Nobody's welcome to apply. But
you're wasting your time. You're wasting their time. They're going
to reject you if you're not Black or Hispanic. Now

(48:16):
the discrimination rolls merrily along from there. The Black Freedom
Fund just so happens to be a Black Lives Matter
spin off nonprofit. Their mission is to fight systemic racism
and promote black power building. Well, they received seven point
six million dollars designated for disaster relief in a twenty

(48:41):
twenty three grant proposal. The group stated that they would
only assist groups led and controlled by black people and
primarily serving black people. Well, okay, if you ain't black.

(49:07):
You're not gonna get anything from them. So even the
Hispanics are out of lock. There he gets better though, folks.
It's no secret how much California loves illegal immigration, right,
no secret at all. Well, they were certainly not excluded

(49:36):
from receiving funds meant for fire victims the Alliance for
a Better Community. They not only received funds from the
disaster relief pool, but they also got an additional five
point nine million dollars meant for continued relief for wildfire
victims and communities. The Alliance then distributed money to an

(50:01):
offshoot called the Ferrizaa Fund Furazo Fun. I don't know
the Feariza Fund. According to their website, they're doubling down
on their commitment to immigrants and undocumented families.

Speaker 10 (50:26):
Let me.

Speaker 1 (50:28):
Let me pull their page back up.

Speaker 3 (50:31):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (50:32):
Not only that, but they said that their fund is
focused on confronting the fear caused by raids and displacement.
So fire aid was going to illegal immigrants to try

(50:56):
and help them feel safer because of the ice raids
that the Orange Man Who's Bad had ordered in parts
of California. Let me quote Becky here, because this seems
a good place to quote it directly. I'll ask again,

(51:19):
for what seems like the one hundredth time, what does
any of this have to do with wildfire and disaster relief.
It's a good question, Becky today, good question. Sadly there's

(51:40):
still more, but you get the picture. There are people
from every walk of life who've lost everything they own,
everything they've worked hard for for decades. What kind of ghoul,
void of a soul do you have to be to

(52:00):
decide who is allowed to rebuild their lives based on
skin color? The answer, of course, is the same people
who advocated for race based medical care during the pandemic.
Imagine the superiority complex that you have to have to
be able to determine whose lives should be rebuilt, or

(52:22):
not even even whose lives, who lives or who dies
based on skin color? Skin color. Keep thinking back to

(52:42):
Martin Luther King. Wouldn't he be amazed? We can absolutely
judge these people not by the color of their skin,
but by the content of their character. But we just

(53:09):
don't seem to be willing to. And it's not the
white folks, at least not the conservatives. Most of this
money is going to illegal aliens, and black and brown communities,
with white people being explicitly excluded from the services. Approximately

(53:35):
one hundred million dollars was raised, which went to one
hundred and sixty different California nonprofits. The majority of those
nonprofits are based on doing work within communities that by

(53:57):
the very nature of their existence, they not only refuse
to do anything to be helpful to white communities or
white individuals, but they also seek to destroy a sense

(54:26):
of unified laws, a sense of community that comes from
rebuilding your communities together, a sense that this could have
been an opportunity for Californians to get to grow and
know people that have been in their communities for a
long time that they've never gotten to know, that they've

(54:46):
never gotten to beat, that they've never mingled because of
this imposed cultural and color divide. They destroyed that opportunity too,
Because adversity does tend to bring people together. When you
face a trial like the wildfires, and you face trying

(55:10):
to put your lives back together and trying to rebuild alongside,
shoulder to shoulder with people who had been in and
around your neighborhoods that were maybe two streets over. Suddenly
you come to realize that you do have more in
common than you have different, and you have that opportunity

(55:31):
to get to know your neighbors in a way you
wouldn't have before, a chance to do some real community building.
But no, no, we can't do that. No, that's no, no, no, no.
We're racist organizations with racist agendas trying to keep everyone divided,
because that's how a political leftist and Democrats in particular,

(55:54):
get and maintain power and authority. That's how the state
of California has managed become almost exclusively Democratic electic, even
though they're nearly forty percent Republican by population. Insanity. Becky

(56:15):
asked some basic questions in her piece, and again a
hat tip to Becky Noble at Red State, and I
heavily encourage you to go read the full article, get
her full report. Go to RedState dot com.

Speaker 4 (56:27):
And then.

Speaker 1 (56:29):
Click the little tab at the top that says authors.
She's on the top line, hit Becky Noble and then
look at her most recent stuff. You'll see this and
a lot of other great stuff. One of the great
things about having Becky on is a regular guest. In fact,
last week she was on the radio show, and she
was on she pulled double duty. It was actually week

(56:52):
before last on the radio show because it was a Friday,
and then she was following up by being on Thursday's
Rumble live stream. It's doing a lot of great work,
But the thing here is she doesn't ask the questions
forcefully enough here for my taste, because what I want
to know is how this is even permissible because it's

(57:12):
not legal. It wouldn't be legal for Fire Aid to
just say, all right, we're gall Gadler. Look, we're getting
all this money, we're raising funds, we're gonna help Californians end. Sorry,
white folks, y'all could just go ahead and get on
out of the state. They couldn't do that, so they
do the next best thing, which almost makes me think

(57:35):
this might have been part of the plan for the
first place. You know, we talked about tinfoil hat time,
when Karen Pass and Gavin Newsom allowed through poor forestry
management programs and no real effort to keep the fire
Department properly funded and properly trained and even properly led
when it comes to dealing with these kind of scenarios,

(57:57):
how it might have just been part of how they
managed to get the Los Angelinos into one of their
super metroid city buildings that the stupid World Econot Forum
wants in place. Oh, super metro Welcome to the Metroplex,

(58:21):
where nobody owns anything, nobody drives anywhere. Certainly nobody ever
goes to a different metroplex because you're not allowed. We
restrict travel. Now, put my hat on for that. And
it's like, okay, yeah, I mean this level of failure,
this level of incompetence, it even goes beyond what the

(58:41):
typical Democrats capable of. And yet here we are again.
Something has got to be done. This should not be permitted.
It must be stopped. People need to pay a price.
All right, let's reset for the hour. Don't go anywhere,

(59:04):
We'll be right back.

Speaker 7 (59:06):
I won't forget no one who die for a freedom,
and I ain't got a handy band.

Speaker 4 (59:13):
No no, no.

Speaker 7 (59:15):
If they're any justice sint enough to believe and they
get out of here, it does back.

Speaker 3 (59:23):
Don't don't go.

Speaker 14 (59:24):
We love our home and if you don't pack your bags,
you'll free to go. Don't let the big show hit
you with the good lost you the wave, go back
to Joe.

Speaker 11 (59:33):
We love our lads.

Speaker 14 (59:35):
You ain't faced, buddy, will help you back your bags.
Don't let the feet show hit you with the good
lost together burn someone outstand.

Speaker 3 (59:56):
She was from a Blue state clan. Tots of praise
to little man, told that union saved the working class.
He was raised a Red State son to love the
flag and own a gun, Warned about the greed within
the mass. They met beneath the Mulitz guy at college party,

(01:00:19):
drunk and high, and when they had degrees, they set
their vows. He couldn't say when he couldn't say how.
He couldn't say why she was different in his eyes.

(01:00:46):
Bill's careers and had a kid, tried to live like
their parents did. Both their parties taxed them close to death.
We learned to hate the public schools, watch TV, king
pulls or trial lawyers looted what was left. She she

(01:01:07):
couldn't say when she couldn't say how, She couldn't say
why she was different in her eyes.

Speaker 4 (01:01:17):
Saw them years ago, a happy little cabbin in the West.

Speaker 11 (01:01:26):
They home schooled, coma farm.

Speaker 3 (01:01:31):
Making so much more from so much less. Now they

(01:01:57):
can say when they can say how, they can say
why they're different in your rise. They're different in your rise,

(01:02:22):
they're different in yourries.

Speaker 1 (01:02:30):
Oh alrighty, thank you so very much for staying with
me as we reset the hour. Now we are driving
headlong into our number two of today's broadcast of Tapping
to the Truth. But before we jump in with the
next story, I do need to ask you, why do
you continue to do business with companies that hate you
for crying out loud? Isn't it time to just make

(01:02:55):
a decision?

Speaker 3 (01:02:56):
Now?

Speaker 1 (01:02:56):
I understand you need quality. You need to to be
able to count on the businesses providing you the services
and goods they're actually paying for, but you also need
to be able to count on them to not do
things that are completely contrary to who you are and

(01:03:16):
what you believe. Now, as a conservative broadcaster who's constantly
roaming around the hills of East Tennessee, I need to
be able to count on my wireless service provider, But
I also need to be able to be rest assured
that my wireless service provider isn't going to take the

(01:03:37):
dollars I give them and then use those dollars to
actively undermine the values I'm promoting. That's why I fully
support and call for you to check out the nation's
only Christian, conservative wireless service provider. I'm talking about Patriot Mobile. Look,
they're using the same towers as the big boys, so

(01:03:59):
you get this coverage and service. They got you covered
almost everywhere, and they have great US based call centers
with Americans that are going to be providing you that
fantastic customer service. Plus, it do's feel kind of good
to know that they're not going to take their profits

(01:04:21):
and go fund Planned Parenthood or contribute to Gavin Newsom
Presidential Election Pact. They're standing up for the sanctity of life.
They're standing up for our first responders and our veterans
and our active duties servicemen. They do the right things.

(01:04:43):
They are pro America, and the most important thing, not
only do they love America. They don't hate you if
you happen to be Christian or Conservative. They don't hate
you if you happen not to be. But unlike those
big boys, they don't hate you if you are. That

(01:05:03):
should be enough of an enticement. But let me throw
a little extra into the pot there, just to get
you to try. You can take advantage of a free
month of service when you make the switch to Patriot Mobile,
just by using promo code tap that is thapp So

(01:05:24):
what you want to do is check them out. You
can go online to Patriotmobile dot com, backslash tapp, or
you can give them a call at eight one seven
three eight zero nine zero eight one. Again, don't forget
to use promo code tap, take advantage of a free
month of service. Basically, you're trying them out and it's

(01:05:49):
not really gonna cost you anything to give that sample.
And then when you find out that you're getting the
same great service and you don't have to worry about,
you know, helping to fund organizations that you don't want
to make a contribution to. I think Patriot Mobile will
be your new wireless home. All right, let's jump back

(01:06:13):
into things. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy was out there today
again a reminder of time with the broadcast. It happens
to have been on August twenty sixth, that's the Tuesday
twenty twenty five out there today. He gave California, New Mexico,
and Washington State thirty days to comply with federal English

(01:06:37):
proficiency rules for truckers or risk losing federal funding. Now,
Duffie criticized the three states for failing to enforce the
new Trump administration rules requiring English proficiency for truck drivers.
He announced the move after the Department of Transportation launched

(01:06:57):
an investigation into the August twelfth crash on the Floor
to Turnpike. And I've got an update about that story
that I'm going to follow this up with, so be
sure to pay attention. That was a situation in which
an illegal migrant alien driver allegedly killed three people after
making an illegal U turn. It was caught on his

(01:07:21):
own dash scam footage. I think we can throw the
word allegedly out of the equation, but anyway, quoting we
at DOT and federal motor carriers, we are not going
to tolerate states that don't comply with the rules that

(01:07:43):
come from this department. We are going to give these
states thirty days to come into compliance with truck drivers
speaking proficiently the English language, or we're going to look
at federal funding that they receive under the motor carrier's

(01:08:03):
Safety Assistance program. Now, Hagender Sing the accused the individual
driver of the big truck in the Florida crash. He
was given a commercial driver's license by both California and

(01:08:29):
the state of Washington. Now, almost everybody knew about the
California commercial license, I don't know that everybody knew that
the state of Washington had also done so. New Mexico
law enforcement also failed to administer an English proficiency test

(01:08:49):
to sing what he was pulled over in July for speeding.
This bit of new information as well, So specifically looking
at these three states by name, because they failed to
follow the protocols. You pulled him over for speeding, You

(01:09:10):
recognized he was breaking the law. Did you bother to
find out if he understood enough English that he could
read the signs so that he even knew what the
speed limit was? Obviously you did not. Florida troopers did,
and they discovered he cannot. This is a guy who

(01:09:32):
should have never been issued a normal driver's license given
his inproficiency in the English language and his inability to
understand road signs. But no, no, no, we're gonna go
ahead and uh, we're gonna use the translator and we're
going to use his language to determine that. Yeah, he

(01:09:53):
used to drive those crazy little box vehicles all the
time back in his home country. That's why he can't
go back to India. He's probably facing vehicular homicide charges
in India the way this guy drives. But that's just
me spipping. Don't take that into any consideration. It's just

(01:10:16):
me being a smartass. But we found out that in
New Mexico, after the new rules had already been put
in place, they pulled this guy over for speeding and
they didn't even bother to check his proficiency. So what
does this really mean. It means technically, if one of

(01:10:36):
these judges, you know the ones I'm talking about, if
they don't get involved, and they probably will, but if
they don't, California could lose up to thirty million dollars,
State of Washington could lose about ten million, and New
Mexico could lose about seven million dollars if they don't
get themselves back in line with the English proficiency standard.

(01:11:00):
Of course, first announced all the way back.

Speaker 4 (01:11:02):
In May.

Speaker 1 (01:11:04):
And then implemented at the end of June, so you know,
it's it's a very long standing policy here. The problem is,
this is freaking common sense. This should have been the
policy all along. It shouldn't have had to happen this year.
Donald John Trump, the Orange Man Who's bad, the kicker

(01:11:25):
of puppies, the eater of babies, the climate arsonists should
not have been the one trying to re establish common
sense on who we let behind the wheels of the
most dangerous vehicles on our highways. And they're only the
most dangerous vehicles because of the quality or lack thereof,
of the people behind the wheels. I am old enough

(01:11:49):
to remember, and unfortunately I may be dating myself a bit,
because usually when you make this statement, you're talking about
something recent. It's not as recent as it should be.
But I'm old enough to remember when trum drivers used
to be the best drivers on the road because the
expectation was that you had to be. You needed to
be Public safety was in your hands, and you were

(01:12:10):
driving the biggest, most dangerous vehicles on the road. But
they were only dangerous if you were a bad driver.
They were only dangerous if you weren't capable of making
the smart drive. You make the right moves right, you

(01:12:31):
read the road signs, you recognize where you're at, you move,
you change lanes well in advance, You keep it under
the speed limits or at least right at You do
the smart things, and then you are courteous to other
drivers you give every other driver a wide berth and
a bit of it the doubt because you always presume

(01:12:53):
that other drivers are not very good drivers. You always
make that assumption and you proceed with that level of caution.
And back in the day when you were the best
drivers on the road. And thank god, there are still
some of those big rig truck drivers that are exactly that,
but unfortunately, way too many people pushed into the being

(01:13:16):
put behind the wheels of these big rigs. They're not anymore.
You can't count on them being the safest drivers on
the road. But every state in the Union, I don't
care if you're California, Washington, New Mexico. I don't care

(01:13:36):
if you're New Jersey, New York. I don't care if
you're Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee. It doesn't matter. Every state in
the Union has a vested interest in their public safety
being maintained by making certain that the people that are
behind the wheels of these trucks are capable of understanding

(01:13:57):
and speaking and reading enough English that they at least
can identify road signs that they at least can follow
instructions when somebody locally, especially law enforcement, is giving them
instructions or even at the very least asking them questions.

(01:14:21):
There is a certain amount of absurdity here that shouldn't
even require an explanation. But yet here we are, in
the interest of being compassionate, we have to conduct official
state business in thirty five more languages than the UN

(01:14:41):
even recognize that there are countries. And in the process
we have to provide for them not only written material
in their preferred language, but we also have to provide
them a translator. And then we have to conduct all
of our official business in their preferred language. And then
we're not allowed to ask if they know or understand

(01:15:02):
enough English that they might actually be able to conduct
themselves in a productive manner outside of that office. No, no, no,
we can't do that. That that's too much that, my friend,
that is, I can't believe you're such a bigot. That
is just discriminatory, sir. See, there's part of the problem.

(01:15:28):
A big part of the problem is democrats out there
right now has got a huge law of Americans actually
thinking that conducting basic, common sense public safety actions is discriminatory.
What's actually in polite and certainly not very compassionate, is

(01:15:56):
to let people in our country completely and totally. I'm
prepared to be able to live a life in our country,
and that provides knowing, understanding, and speaking enough English to
interact with whoever you might run into. If you don't
fall into that category, then you don't belong here. And

(01:16:17):
that's that is being compassionate, because either you're going to
hurt somebody here and end up in a prison, or
somebody here is going to take full advantage of you
and you're never gonna know it until it's too late.
So again, though, the which which side compassion actually is
the left has got you confused? But why on earth?

(01:16:44):
Why on earth that this becomes thing in May of
this year, implemented in June of this year. And then
let's take another look at New Mexico. Why you guys
not doing it? You pull the guy over for speeding.
You pulled the guy over for speeding in a truck,

(01:17:08):
and you didn't bother to do the proficiency test in
an instance where it was pretty obvious this guy had
some comprehension issues. Oh well, you know that. Why should
I here? I don't live in New Mexico. Out here
in Tennessee, I'm safe from that. No, I'm not because

(01:17:29):
this guy ended up killing people in Florida, literally, meaning
that nobody anywhere in the forty eight continuous lower States
was safe. And who knows, this guy might have at
some point gotten a freaking ended up driving something to

(01:17:51):
or from Alaska for all we know, so it might
not have been limited to just the lower forty eight. Anyway,
back to quoting the Secretary Duffy, when we did that,
George that we're talking about the implementation of the policy.

(01:18:13):
When we did that, there was a lot of press
that complained to us that we were being unfair to people,
that we were being mean to people. And what we
said was, no, this is a safety issue. Making sure
drivers have making sure drivers are very heavy eighty thousand

(01:18:37):
pound rigs, can speak the language is truly a critical
state the issue. And again, nobody says that they had
to be English only speaker. Nobody said that they had
to be primarily English speaking. They just said that they

(01:18:58):
had to be proficient. And the proficiency level still isn't
high enough for my standards.

Speaker 3 (01:19:05):
It was just.

Speaker 1 (01:19:05):
Proficient enough to be able to freaking read and recognize
road signs. That's not a very high bar. It's really
not so where's the mean, Where is the discriminatory? Where
is the bad part of this? There's not one. When

(01:19:33):
Secretary Duffy says this is a critical safety issue, he's
not exaggerating. I don't think they took it far enough
in order to adequately protect the public, but hey, that's
just me. Definie said his department would take additional steps
to ensure compliance if the states did not satisfy the requirements.

(01:19:54):
An investigation from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration found
that from June twenty fifth through August twenty first, California
allowed at least twenty three drivers with documented violations of
English proficiency and other states to remain on the road.

(01:20:17):
During that same period, the state of Washington allowed four
drivers to stay on the road with proficiency violations from
other states and two drivers who violated proficiency regulations in
Washington itself. New Mexico also allowed seven drivers to stay
on the road who had documented failures in English proficiency. Now,

(01:20:43):
the Trump administration has taken other steps to crack down
on the number of truck drivers who were unable to
understand English, and Secretary of State Mark Arubio announced last
week that he had paused, the insurance of work visas
for commercial truck drivers, the insurance, the issuance My bad, sorry,

(01:21:06):
he's paused the issuance of work visus for commercial truck drivers. Now,
this is all an effort to try and get us
returned to some semblance of common sense. This is an
effort to try and get us back to where things
make sense. But unfortunately, we live in a country where
now more than two point five million people have signed

(01:21:30):
a petition on change dot org requesting although technically the
petition the way it's written, it would be directing Ron
DeSantis of the Florida Board of Executive Clemency trying to
convince them to consider.

Speaker 3 (01:21:51):
This driver.

Speaker 1 (01:21:53):
Engender saying, the illegal immigrant, migrant truck driver who's charged
with three counts of vehicular homicide because of the three
people who died while he was making an illegal utur
And their argument, Oh, why should you give this guy clemency?

(01:22:17):
Why should you pardon him? Why should you not hold
him accountable? Well, because he's got no criminal history, you know,
other than coming into the country illegally. He just made
a terrible mistake. I'm literally taking that directly from the

(01:22:37):
petition quote terrible mistake. Simply made a terrible mistake. Now,
I'm going to point out that vehicular homicide is a
form of manslaughter. It's not murder, and manslaughter is a

(01:23:03):
charge that often comes regardless of intent.

Speaker 2 (01:23:08):
Now.

Speaker 1 (01:23:08):
I shared this mention about the change dot organ petition
on multiple social media posts earlier today, and some of
the responses I got were very much in support of
the driver. They're like, well, of course American drivers make
these kind of mistakes every day, and they blah blah blah,

(01:23:33):
and they clearly didn't even know that. Yes, and these
same American truck drivers, we do care. They face the
same charges. Vehicular homicide is still a thing. People go
to jail literally every day because of some involuntary or
unintentional act, some terrible mistake that they made in their vehicles.

(01:23:56):
Every single day it happens, they go to Princeton and
nobody and I about that. To say that we don't
care is incorrect.

Speaker 3 (01:24:04):
We do care.

Speaker 1 (01:24:05):
We want our roads and highways to be safe. It
is a bigger deal when a truck driver does it
than when somebody driving a small Prius or you know, Harry,
I'm in my little Prius hybrid Oh wow, that didn't
do much damage at all. It's a different situation when

(01:24:30):
a big truck does something stupid. But even when it's
an American truck driver behind the wheel of a bigger
rig that does something wrong, they face the consequences. The
outrage here directed at the illegal part is directed because
this guy did something that we're not even one hundred

(01:24:51):
percent sure that he knew or understood that it was illegal.
And don't get me wrong, that doesn't make it okay,
That doesn't give him some level of grace. That makes
it even worse. It means that state of California and
the state of Washington should have never allowed this guy
on the road period. They should be held accountable to
some degree here too. There should be accountability to the

(01:25:12):
people that are making these rules in these states and
allowing people that are not safe on the roads to
have these licenses. But yeah, we're going to yank an
American truck driver off the road just the same and
they're going to face the consequences. But the difference is,
at least they were supposed to be here legally. There
wasn't much that we could do about them being on

(01:25:35):
the road, short of making certain that they too legitimately
met all the criteria to have that driver's license. And
if you go out and you earn your commercial driver's
license and you do the things, you stay insured, and
you have a great drivering record and whatever, and then
one day make a terrible mistake. If somebody dies, you're
still going to face consequences for that that happens. Nobody's

(01:25:59):
letting them get off the hook just because they are
an American citizen. What's gonna happen is you're trying to
hold this illegal to a different standard than the American citizen.
What's happening here when you're trying to loop them off
the hook because of the REALI no, no, no, no,
no no. We're not angry at the aspect that people

(01:26:25):
died because he was illegal, because that's not why they died.
They died because the guy didn't belong behind the wheel.
Being illegal is just an extra layer to the story
because it means some politician somewhere in another state is
really ultimately responsible. But we can't do anything about that.
Can I'm setting here driving about I'm still in Tennessee

(01:26:47):
right now, but I'm out here doing the show, and
I don't know what's happening on the roads. How good
of a driver that person over in that lane might be.
Once I get back out on the road, I don't know.
I can only trust. I can try to keep an
eye out, I can try and pay attention, But ultimately
it's up to the drivers to do the right things.

(01:27:12):
And you get a bigger driver doing something. If they
screw up and anybody gets hurt, but alone dies, they
need to be held accountable as the law would provide.
So no clem and see, no looking the other way,
because nobody's coming down hard on him because he leads.
Nobody's coming down harder on him because he's illegal. They're

(01:27:34):
coming down on him equally as they would any other
driver who's done this. In fact, if anything, they probably
are taking it a little easier on him, because ultimately
the true responsibility lies with the people in California, and
now evidently the folks in Washington State that let this
guy have a driver's license when clearly he should not

(01:27:58):
have had one, and I mean driver's license. You should
not have had a driver's license, let alone a commercial
driver's license. Unbelievable. All right, don't go anywhere, Gonna take
a break, I want to get back. We'll wrap things up.

Speaker 9 (01:28:29):

meaning of some numbers may possibly have a very positive
impact on your life.

Speaker 10 (01:28:58):
Hello.

Speaker 9 (01:28:58):
I'man Edwards. On today's page from the Ever Snow Book,
brought to you by Root Brand's premium products. In the Bible,
we learned that it rained for forty days and forty nights,
but then day forty one came and the rain stopped.
Moses killed a brutal man and then hid in the
desert for forty years. Year forty one came and God
called Moses to rescue Israel. Moses went up to the

(01:29:21):
mountains for forty days. On day forty one, he received
the Ten Commandments. The Israelites wandered in the wilderness for
forty years. Year forty one, they walked into the promised land.
Goliath taunted Israel for forty days. Day forty one came
and David defeated him. Jonah preached repentance to Nineveh for
forty days. On day forty one, God stopped his plan

(01:29:43):
to destroy them. Jesus fasted and was tempted for forty days.
Day forty one, the devil fled. After his resurrection, Jesus
appeared to his disciples for forty days. On day forty one,
he ascended into heaven. So what's the takeaway of all
of this? The rain will stop, the giant will fall,
and you will enter into your promise to land. So

(01:30:04):
long as you do not give up on day forty,
your forty one is coming. I'm Ron Edwards. Feel free

(01:37:26):
Just don't forget to use promo code tap. It is
something that you really really ought to take advantage of,
all right. So with that being said, we've got a
bit of a situation ongoing. We as normally have preserved

(01:37:52):
the final segments of the show for the Culture Wars,
and we have a federal judge that has dismissed a
federal lawsuit filed by former members of the Kappa Kappa
Gamma chapter at the University of Wyoming after the group
admitted a male member back in twenty twenty two. Now,

(01:38:16):
on Friday, Judge Alan Johnson of the District of Wyoming
dismissed a lawsuit with prejudice, claiming that the three plaintiffs
individual people there failed in their amended complaint to convince
the court to quote interfere with Kappa's contractually valid interpretation

(01:38:43):
of its own bylaws. Okay, so what does that mean?
Will let's get there. Johnson also said, quote nothing in
the bylaws or the standing rules requires Kappa to narrowly
define the words women or woman to include only those

(01:39:09):
individuals born with certain set of reproductive organs, particularly when
even the dictionary cited by the plaintiffs offers a more
expansive definition. So, in case you haven't figured it out
by now, the three plaintiffs A Hannah Holtmeyer and Alison

(01:39:36):
Coogan and A Hailey uh Rusship Russia I believe is
Haley's last name. They were suing Kappa Kappa Gamma for
letting a male into the sorority. Now, the planoffs noted

(01:40:02):
that Donald Trump himself provided a national standard for the
terms in an executive order earlier this year, stating that
women shall mean adult human females, and female means a
person with a person belonging at conception to these sects,

(01:40:27):
that produces a large reproductive cell. Okay, that's strange definition,
but there you go. Now. Johnson evidently went to the
same law school that Katanji Brown Jackson went to, because
Jackson expressed some confusion about Trump's relatively clear cut definitions, stating, quote,

(01:40:53):
we are not entirely sure what this definition means. Not
having a degree in biology, I don't know what the
word woman means. I'm confused. Donald Trump seems to know
more than me about how to define a woman. In

(01:41:19):
any case, he said, those definitions are limited to the
executive branch and its interpretation of federal laws and administration policy,
and have no bearing in the world of private contracts
such as those between the official Kappa organization based out
of Ohio and its membership. In short, we are required

(01:41:42):
to leave Kappa alone, he said. Now I will grant
him technically that is correct. An executive order is exactly that.
You've heard me say this a bajillion times. I was
screaming from the mountaintops to any person willing to listen.
When Barack houstain Ala Wakbar Obama was an issued doing
executive orders and the rest of the country was treating

(01:42:03):
it like somehow that was the law. An executive order
only has authority within how the executive branch carries out
its administrative roles. It is a direction from the Chief
Executive to those who answer to him during the effort
to perform their assigned duties. That's it. There is only

(01:42:27):
one exception to when an executive order has authority of law,
and that is when Congress has explicitly granted the Executive
Office the authority to do so, essentially saying, okay, in
this particular manner, your executive orders count as the law.

(01:42:48):
And even then there's a lot of constitutional lawyering debate
as to whether or not that is legal. Okay. But
Johnson dismissed a previous complaint from some members of the
Kappa chapter at the university on similar grounds, claiming that
the Kappa organization had not defined what a woman is

(01:43:13):
in its bylaws and therefore neither would he. The Court
will not define a woman today, wrote that in August
of twenty twenty three, Sheryl tuck Smith, an attorney, a
WU alumni, and a Kappa sister for over fifty years

(01:43:35):
before she was expelled for supporting the plaintiffs in these cases,
noted at a rally in June of twenty twenty four
that when Kappa was founded in eighteen seventy, there was
no confusion about what a woman is. This, of course,
suggests that the Kappa foundreds would never have been that,

(01:44:02):
would have never even thought, would have never considered it,
would have never crossed their mind that it was necessary
to define the term woman anywhere in the bidelines, because
everybody freaking knew what a woman is. Everyone then knew.
No one seems to know now, but everyone knew that now.
More than one hundred and fifty years later, a man

(01:44:24):
successfully joined their all women's organization with the apparent blessing
of the Kappa leadership, who issued a non binding document
in twenty twenty two that stated quote, Kapa Kappa Gamma
is a single gender organization comprised of women and individuals

(01:44:45):
who identify as women. Since Judge Johnson dismissed the lawsuit
with prejudice, the plaintiffs, though they may still appeal Johnson's
ruling at the Circuit Court, they're kind of powerless to
fileow another suit or amend their complaint. They can only

(01:45:07):
appeal now. Langford, who was not listed among the defendants
on this particular lawsuit, has now moved out of Wyoming
on account of the controversy and what Wyoming Public Radio called,
quote new anti trans laws in the state, Langford told WPR,

(01:45:31):
which used female pronouns in reference to him, quote every
day I woke up feeling like, uh, why does my
mouth taste bad? And then realizing like, oh, my heart
is racing and my mouth tastes like cotton. Oh, I'm
having a panic attack. Like I'm waking up with a

(01:45:55):
panic attack. I just had to push, push, push to succeed,
and somehow I managed to get through it. I only
did it because it sounds like you just ran away, dude,
And I'm gonna call you dude because your dude now. Kapita,
of course, has not responded to requests for comment from

(01:46:15):
any of the conservative news outlets that have reached out.
One attorney for the Plane of decline to give comment,
and others simply didn't respond to the request. Former state
Representative Mark Jennings did speak to the Blaze, saying, quote,
he's not surprised by the federal judge's decision. Wyoming, for

(01:46:42):
as conservative as they are, has packed their courts with liberals.
It's just so disappointing they can't figure out the definition
of a woman. I mean, really so. While Jennings expressed
hope that Wyoming would slowly return to common sense, he

(01:47:04):
didn't note that the state legislatures may have to rein
in all these rogue judges within their purview, saying quote,
I think that if you're going to have judges that
are going to pull this kind of nonsense, the power
of the purse should not be taken off the table
when it comes to the judiciary. That seems fair to me,

(01:47:33):
you know, I just I can't understand how you end
up in this situation where you legitimately have guys joining sororities,
and when you have sorority members who have an issue
with it, then suddenly you're going to act like they're
the ones that are the problem. I mean, that's not

(01:47:56):
much different than what we've got going on in Virginia,
where you got to Christian kids they're being punished because
some girl who wants to identify as a guy came
into their locker rooms and started filming them. They expressed discomfort.
Oh yeah, there was three kids that expressed discomfort. But
because one of them happens to be a Muslim student,

(01:48:16):
they don't get punished, even though they were even more
upset and more restricted. Yeah, they're more of a problem
for the LGBTQ plus community. But no, no, no, these
the Christian kids that we get to pick on, they
get punished even though they were the ones who literally
did nothing wrong except say, hey, why is this girl

(01:48:40):
in our locker room? By the way, she is a girl,
just like this guy is a male. Why are you
in the sorority? Why are you not joining a fraternity?
Oh yeah, because reasons. I keep forgetting that. Reasons are

(01:49:01):
all right. Also in the in the culture Wars, which
you know, I think we're doing better at we're still
a long way out from having won. Chip and Joanna
Gaines are back in the news. You know, we talked
about them not too long ago for their reactions to

(01:49:23):
how some of their Christian fans had responded to the
news about a gay couple with adopted children being part
of their HBO Max show Back to the Frontier I
think is the title. Anyway, They're back in the news again,

(01:49:47):
and I think we're seeing more of who they really
are being revealed because a lot of former fans of
Chip and Joanna Gaines are once again out criticizing the
couple for yet another show that pushes the LGBTQ agenda,
this time even further than before. See Back in July,

(01:50:10):
Chip Games accused their critics of being too judgmental after
they were hit with backlash for including the same sex
couple with children on their show Back to the Frontier. Okay,
so I was right about that, taired on HBO Max
blah blah blah, I said that already the reality television
show stars identify as evangelical Christians and have been excoriated

(01:50:38):
by the left for supporting conservative causes, but they're facing
scorn on the right after clips of their new show
have now hit social media. It's called roller Jam now.
The roller skating contest includes an lg BTQ activist as

(01:51:02):
a host, an all LGBTQ roller skating team, and a
cross dressing judge. The Gaineses are executive producers of the show,
meaning that they get to make decisions on this. This
isn't the network telling them you have to do this.

(01:51:24):
This is them making those choices. If you'll remember, I
defended Chip a little bit at the front end, but
then I came out very cross with him when he
basically came out and ascoriated the Christians, who, again they're
claim to fame, they identified as evangelicals. They came out

(01:51:45):
and they built a fan base. They built the Magnolian
network on the idea, the notion the premised it they
were providing good wholesome family entertainment, and as an evangelical
looking at what constitutes good wholesome family entertainment, the promotion
of the LGBTQ lifestyle doesn't fit that narrative anyway. Some

(01:52:15):
of the comments that they've gotten for this, quoting here,
what kind of parent will let their children watch this show?
How far removed and out of touch are the Gainses
to consider this appropriate family entertainment. That was from a
Christian website that posted a video and screenshots PROTESTEA. I

(01:52:40):
don't know, some strange website Christian website anyway. Critics have
responded with scorn to the blatant promotion of the LGBTQ
agenda by a couple that had gained popularity with significant
support from Christians, and ultimately that's still what this circles
back around to. If Chip and his lovely wife had

(01:53:05):
never claimed to be an evangelical Christians, had never tapped
into the Christian fan base to build their little network empire.
If they hadn't done that, then this would be a
non issue. Just none of the Christians would be watching
their show. So of course the Magnolian Network probably wouldn't
exist if they hadn't tapped into that base, if they

(01:53:27):
hadn't found a way because they were doing previous two
back to the frontier, what fell into the category of
wholesome family entertainment. I wasn't particularly entertained. I wasn't watching
a whole lot of it. I have to say, never,
I didn't dislike them. I did dislike the shows. My

(01:53:48):
wife occasionally would be watching them. I just didn't now
my kep of tea. When I'm watching television, I prefer
drama or fantasy or sci fi. Throw in some horror
here and there, so it's sci fi, fantasy, horror. Then

(01:54:09):
I can accept drama after that. But typically I got
enough cry. When I'm watching something like that, I want
to be entertained. Tell me a story so that I
can step away from the reality for a bit. Otherwise
I would just deal with real life. These critics are

(01:54:32):
really upset, not at the content of the program, although yeah,
they don't like the content of the program. They're upset
at the fact that this couple that Chip and Joanna
built their entire careers to this point at claiming to

(01:54:52):
be evangelical. This is not something evangelical Christians would do.
Period stop. That is the end of the discussion. This
blows apart the pretense that they're merely trying to be
kind and understanding the individuals who identified differently. They're clearly

(01:55:15):
using their positions and influence to promote disordered sexuality and
gender behavior. They are violating the Gospels. They're promoting the
violation of the Gospels, and they know it. So had
there been any other crazy expectations, any other items that

(01:55:41):
had any pretext left if you wanted to give them
the benefit of the doubt, that's got to be gone.
At this point, it's gone. If they were evangelical Christians,
they're certainly not anymore. And again that's their choice to make.
That's fine, whatever they want to do their business. I

(01:56:01):
ain't got a problem with it, other than to say
that everybody who's mad at it, they've got a right
to be. If you were a supporter, a longtime supporter
of the Gameses, and you supported them because they were evangelicals,
because they were providing great programming that was family friendly,

(01:56:25):
that provided wholesome values, then you've got every right in
the world to be upset about it, and you should
call them out on it. And they don't have very
much room to push back, and everything that they're going
to push back, they've just given up the right to
really claim anything any different. So sorry, Chip, sorry Joanna.

(01:56:47):
If this is your way to try to be nice,
now you step beyond be nice to somebody that's outside
of the Christian home. And I'm and I say the
Christian home, I'm referring to the church, and you've started
glorifying their lifestyles. This is what you're doing now. You've

(01:57:10):
broken from Gospel, you've broken from Christianity, and the problem.

Speaker 5 (01:57:15):
Is you.

Speaker 1 (01:57:20):
Period full stop. Now again, You've got every right to
do this. Go do the thing, but do not get
defensive with the Christians who helped build your empire for you,
who put you in this position when they have something
to say about it, because by virtue of having to
help you get where you are, they've got a right
to say something. You need to just move on from it.

(01:57:44):
Neither ignore it or listen to it, and build something
positive from it that choices yours. Make it now, but
leave everyone else along and the meanwhile. That's going to
be it for today. Thank you so much for listening.
As always, I appreciate it, and remember, don't take my
word for it. Definitely don't take their word for it.
Be prepared to put in some effort and most importantly,

(01:58:06):
use your brain. If you really want to tap into
the truth.

Speaker 12 (01:58:10):
Evil is powerless if they weren't afraid.

Speaker 1 (01:58:14):
Wow, you're listening to tap into the truth.

Speaker 9 (01:58:33):
