(00:00):
This is the FCB Radio Network,Real Talk worldwide online at FCB radio dot
com. Turn it up the latestcelebrity news and gossip. It's Tea time
with Row on the Outlaws Radio show. All right today, so I have
(00:24):
a story on UM. Well we'llsay we'll talk about the street Um gangs.
So there was a recent murder ofUm. Davon Bennetts also known as
King von Um. King Vaughan wasUM shot on November six outside of Hookah
(00:46):
Lounge in UM Chicago and along withtwo others that were also shots UM.
One of the two are in criticalcondition. UM and so actually there were
others that were that were shot duringthis time, but there is no saying
(01:07):
whether they were shot by gang orif they were shot by the police.
But all of these young men thatwere in this shootout, we're all in
their twenties. Wow wow, howmany was it? Again? There were
three men that were shot all together. That was King Vaughan and two others.
(01:30):
There were others that were shot inthe crossfire and being a part of
it. There were a couple policeofficers that were there on the scene that
were there as security and there wasone there that was just off duty.
So yeah, there was quite afew that were shot during that. But
(01:51):
it just blows my mind how youngthese men are out here, you know.
I mean, you're literally just beginningto live your life in your twenties
and you're out there in the gangsand shooting and now there and now their
lives are gone, you know whatI mean, Like it's it's I'm trying
(02:15):
to figure out how the words, like it's it's sad. It's really sad
that we're at a place now wherethere is just such a lack of respect
for life, for human life, you know what I mean, there's no
value to life, like there's yousee these incidents all the time. I
(02:37):
have never seen as many. AndI don't know, I don't remember.
I don't remember, Dante, ifit was me and you that I was
talking about this before, or ifit was another conversation that I had,
But I remember like growing up,you know, when Tupac was shot,
that was a big deal. WhenBiggie was shot, that was a big
deal. And we haven't really seenany rapper like on that level, like
(02:59):
they were to the biggest rappers inthe world, Like ain't nobody's hut Drake
or Little Wayne or Kanye or somethinglike that. But I think the difference,
the one difference that there is inthis time right now, is that
there's so many rappers who are famous. They may not be like on that
like on a Drake level, butthey're famous. I've never seen a time
(03:22):
where were so many rappers getting shotback to back to back to back.
It's sad. It's that's the onlyword, because especially because it's like,
man, a lot of these brothersbe so talented. Man, King Vaughan
was talented. Man, it's likeyou just never get to see his full
(03:43):
potential or anybody else in that situationbecause like the people that killed, like
y'all going to jail. So it'slike if y'all had talent and y'all it's
gone. Like it's just life.Life is too precious to just throw it
away like that. Man. Idon't, I don't know what the situation
was, but it's like, man, you feel for anything, you you
(04:04):
know what I'm saying, Like hisyou know his girl going through it,
you know their families going through itbecause now they they get to see their
people from behind bars forever his familylose. I don't I don't know if
if Van had children, but likehe had, you know, like people
obviously loved him, you know whatI mean like that, it's just another
life gone before it really even gotstarted. I mean, he he my
(04:26):
age, right right, you know, it's just it's just crazy. Um
so robbing your thoughts. Um.I mean, in my opinion, I
just as Dante said, you know, they're all young. So what I
just I guess I personally just neverget the whole point of gangs, Um,
(04:48):
I don't. I mean, Iguess everybody has a different story.
There's certain reasons for joining or doingthings of the such, but in my
opinion, it's really all just shootingand killing each other. And then what
yeah yeah, I mean, likeI said, all of these men are
in their twenties. They're young. And I mean like King Vaughan, he
(05:13):
just he actually just released an albumjust not too long ago, and it
was literally set to premiere for hismusic video Armed and Dangerous that day that
he was murdered. Wow. Wow, you know you bring up about the
gangs and stuff. Robin there's aguy that I like to watch on YouTube
(05:34):
a lot and watch a lot ofhis interviews, and he has his own
channel. Now. I don't knowif you guys ever seen him or not.
His name is Michael Franzis and heused to be he used to be
a member of the mafia and heleft that life. And one of the
reasons why he left that life hegot married. He you know, it
became a Christian stuff like that. And one of the things that he talks
(05:57):
about all the time, he's like, look, whether it's gang life or
mob life or whatever, like, there is no there is no good way
out. Like you you're not goingto win, you know what I mean,
Like the odds are stacked against you. You are going to either end
up dead or in jail. Andone and one thing that he said that
(06:20):
really kind of stood out to mewas he's never seen anyone in the street
life whose families weren't completely devastated asa result. Right, Well, you
know it's you're not only putting yourselfin danger, but if you make one
of them mad and they can't getto you, they're coming for your family.
(06:44):
Yep. And then you got tosit back and be like this was
because of me. Yeah, yeah, it's just and it's and I think
that and we got like a minuteleft, so I'll make this quick.
The thing that bothers me the mostabout situations like this is when you have
people who have made it and youstill get killed. You know what I'm
(07:04):
saying, Like it's I understand,like I'm I'm I'm from the hood,
so I get it. I understandthe dynamics. I know why people do
the things that they do. Iknow, I know what attracts people to
gangs sometimes and in the street life. I get it. But if you've
made it out where that's not anecessity for you anymore, it's not like
(07:26):
you have to do that to surviveanymore. You've made it out, why
is that element still around you?You know what I'm saying that that just
that I will never if I letit be a hundred, I'll never understand
that. Like you've I understand andnot saying that I agree with people who
make these decisions, but I understandwhen people who are in desperate situations and
(07:49):
feel like you have nowhere else toturn but the street life, but gangs,
I understand that. I'm not agreeingwith it, but I get it.
But when you've made it out tostill have to deal with that element
to still have the element around you. That's the problem to me. I
don't understand that because you you won, there's a million other people that want
to be in your position. Enjoyyour wind, live your life, and
(08:15):
lead at alone, you know whatI mean? Yeah, for sure.
I mean, well, like Iwas just reading, um, I mean,
I guess he's kind of drawn theattention to him because I guess last
year King Vaughan and m Little Dirkwere actually charged with shooting a man in
Atlanta and the outside they were ata Varsity hot dogs stand and they stole
(08:41):
thirty thousand dollars in jewelry and avehicle. So why Yeah, I don't
understand. But he put his Imean, I don't want to say he
put hisself into into that position toum what happened to him. But at
the same point, I mean, you report your soul. Yeah, I
(09:03):
don't understand. The FCB Radio Networkfirst class broadcasting worldwide
