(00:48):
you so much for joining me.So people call me your compassionate trauma care
maestro or does know me as aboard certified psychiatric doctor of NOS practice practice
out in Arizona. So thank youso much for joining me. This morning,
I woke up, I was inthe shower and there was a phrase
that came to me. There wasa book that I read when I was

(01:11):
in perhaps every high school, agreat school, and they talked about the
tale A tale of two cities.Can I see that? I get a
tale of two cities? And Ibegan to think about that phrase, and
what came to me was a taleof two countries, right, a tale
of two countries. On one ofmy trip and international flight, boarding out

(01:33):
from the US and going outside ofthe country, I overheard two people,
a young lady and of course anolder guy that they were talking about.
Each person was talking about their owncountry. The women happened to come from
country A I'm just gonna say countryay, and the men comes from country

(01:55):
buy. And they began to sharedifferences, you know, and talk about
all the things that the country, their country is actually experiencing right now.
They started off by talking about politics, and then they went into leadership and
went into all sorts of discussions, which was quite interesting to me as I
listened. So, so you havethe young lady who happens to come from

(02:19):
a well developed country, talked abouthow they COVID COVID twenty twenty, how
it had really ravaged not just thecountry alone with our it had ravaged our
own family. She talked about howmany of our family members had passed,

(02:40):
about maybe eight of them, andthat kind of I, you know,
I felt that kind of gassed point. She said that, and she said,
you know, and they couldn't haveof them should not have died.
But because they're listening to the wrongpeople, they had a point to prove.
So they stayed and they died, and they did not get the vaccine.
So she went from there, andthen she started talking about, um,

(03:07):
things that are wrong in the countryor everything is just terrible. Um.
She was talking about how, oh, the baby formula issue. And
then every time what I noticed wasthat every time she would bring something up,
the other guy who happens to comefrom a developing country and say,
yes, but all right, therewas that fixed. She said, oh

(03:28):
yeah, yeah, yeah, sureit was fixed. She said, but
but then again, we had thethe all thing where prices of gas was
just out of the room, justoff the room or whatever. And the
older guy was like, oh,okay, but was that fixed? And
she said, oh, yeah, yeah, sure that the current um administration

(03:51):
did everything that didn't need to doto make sure that that was fixed.
Then she turned around. It wasquite interesting then she turned round and she
said, oh yeah, and uh, and our children are now safe.
Uh, now our children want tobe exposed to this. And then the
young man said, but why theywere exposed to it before? You said,

(04:14):
oh, well, nothing has reallychanged in the educational system. And
the older guy was like, okay, I'm trying to follow you. Nothing
has changed. So what has changed. The only thing that I hear that
has changed is the fact that youall are trying to um un change,
you know, to unravel things. You are trying to put things, even

(04:34):
those things that doesn't mean much. You are you are creating, You're stalking
and creating more problems for yourself inthat country. And but yeah, here's
the deal. So the guy thoughtsaround it was a story to start talking
about his own country. And thenthey talked about how, oh my god,
it's a developing country. Um,all their politicians are corrupt, none

(05:00):
of them is actually, you know, doing the right thing. When the
guard are there, the first thingthat they decipheron is the country's money,
how people are really suffering and allI mean, just went on and on
and on. So the woman turnedit to the younger lady turned it on
him and said, oh, well, so he said, well, we
have a new person now that we'reall hoping that everything we walk up,

(05:25):
well, but you know we've beenthere before. We're just not sure.
So he turns around and says,oh, but well, guess what the
first thing that he did, well, he pulled off the oils sosidy and
b everybody in the country was allover themselves. The gas stations were hardening,

(05:46):
oil, all kind of thing. So the young lady said, do
you understand what the cidy is?So he said, well, yeah,
sort of, and I said, well, she said, well why are
they Why are they freaking out overthat that would actually help them that Do
they understand that, yes, theremight be a little bit pain initially,

(06:08):
but that would actually help them becauseso she went on to explain that because
without the subsidy, the president ofthat country, can we now have the
right to be able to set aprice for that oil so that people will
no longer be suffering the way theywere suffering with the oil subsidy. Where

(06:31):
the gas stations today they'll go thereand this amount of money, and tomorrow
they go there something else. Soshe was he scratching his head like you
never thought about it that way,he said, But the country does not
know that a lot of the countrythat the way that they have is set
up is that they just feel like, oh, this is a new person.
And the first thing that he didwas take oil away from them.

(06:55):
And then they turned around again andthey said, oh, I don't know
how much of you're reading on theinternet. Then he said, well that
he came up with something again andhe signed and I think an act or
bill or something like that where he'snow giving um students UM loan free I
mean interest rates, I mean interestfree loan to be able to go to

(07:20):
uh cha share institutions, which isyou know, higher institution UM. And
then it said pot, I don'tknow what he meant, because when he
was talking he said about deserving. What do you mean by deserving? So
the woman is like, well, that's just a speech. What what does
it matter. What it matters isthat that be was signed and that that

(07:41):
now you have UM people who arenot you know, who are very smart
and didn't have the privilege to beable to go to college. Now they'll
be able to go. But thisthis older man was stuck on that world
deserving Is that what I need toknow that they internet see the bill because
they need to be transparent. Well, so I'm sitting there at the back
and just listening to everything, andhere it's my life lessen from just their

(08:05):
discussion. I'd enjoyed the discussion, but it cannot open our eyes to tell
of two countries. Everyone is complainingabout one thing or the other because their
own person is not in the city. But as soon as the person is
and the cit oh, everything is. Everything is dandy. But here's the

(08:28):
thing. If we take our timeto destroy things and destroy our own country
and destroy everything the same thing thatwe're trying to say we want to save
because somebody else is sitting on theseat that we're destroying it. Do you
actually think you'll be able to pullthings back when you become the person that
is leaving that country. We haveto be very careful what we do.

(08:54):
You cannot destroy something because you wantto be the leader. You I not
destroy a country. You cannot destroyI tell you the whole world is.
You know, nothing in life isperfect, no leader is perfect. But
you cannot spend your life, yourlifetime the opportunities that you're being given to

(09:16):
actually be part of the leadership ina country, squandering it and trying to
make the other person look incredibly crazy, so that when it's your turn to
now be the one to lead, now you want to pull back, and
now you want to fix what youstarted in the first place. And so
I said to myself, less complaint, less complaint, more gratitude, more

(09:43):
love for each other. We actuallytake us a long way. That is
my life lessening that I hope,I hope somebody is going to listen to
this. I hope you're not gonnacome down my whatever and make you know,
having conversations about what I said, but to really sit down and think

(10:03):
about what I said. There's toomuch bitterness. There's too much anger,
there's too much people that think thatit's so sad that even the truth is
now staring us in the face, and we are pretending that the truth is
no longer the truth. Lies havebecome truth. Truth that becomes life.
Everything is the started this case thatif you do not know who you are,

(10:28):
if you don't close your ears andreally use your eyes, because people
are actually now telling you whatever youricy, don't believe it. If you
see this to this person, thenthat person we have to figure out a
way of that person getting away withit. But if an ordinary person goes

(10:50):
through the same thing on the streets, yeah, jail them. It is
time for those who truly say thatcare and they love their country. If
it is true that you love yourcountry and you're not seeking power, that's
not all about power. Then wehave to know when to say the truth

(11:13):
to our people. We have tostop joining the group of people that are
spilling and starting out misinformation, disinformationabout our country, because frankly, we
are the ones that are making ourselveslook foolish. We are the ones that
are making ourselves look stupid. It'snot the leadership, it's not the political

(11:35):
party. It is we, we, the people who have chosen to put
in place those Ah we know,oh we know, we not serve as
well. So by life lessening thisagain, less complaint, more gratitude,

(11:56):
more tender, loving care to eachother, listening to one another, telling
the truth when it counts, inspite of whatever it mayst be. Telling
the truth and making that conscious choiceto not be a part of the people
who is going to disseminate lies untilnext time. Be inspired, being motivated,

(12:22):
be of sentimental value, understand thatyou, my friend, you are
the hero in your life story.Do not allow anybody to rewrite your story
because frankly, too many people writingtoo many stories out there, even when
we see it in our eyes.Until next time, please do subscribe to
