And I think that's what people needto know because we're called we're all called
differently, right, some people haveit to be. They're called as entrepreneurs.

Saw are entrepreneurs where we guess theold corporation that they work for.
They're also in trump purse there,which means that they're living within the organizations
that they're aren't off. And peoplejust need to recognize that and know their
own giftings enough. And I triedto, you know, take other people's

gifting. Now, going back towhat you talked about, because people like
you who are consultants a lot oftimes they're not valued as much, and
especially in the area of nursing.And I'm gonna say, right right now,
I don't want to hear anybody callingme or right this is something that

I know to be true. Manyof our nurses will spend money. They
will send money to Africa, sendmoney all over the place. Okay,
Well, when it's when it comesfor them to kind of pay a consultant
to help them figure things out,then they have a problem, right right.

And I never understand that with myself. When when I finally decided because
for a year over a year,I went to Saudi Areba, just went
to stay there and do some workbecause I was trying to figure out what
When I came back, I knewthat I had gone away from psychiatry for
a while and I needed to plugin. So what I did was,

Okay, I said, well,I could get free stuff, but free
stuff would not really get me intothe thrones of thrones where I need to
be. So whatever it takes,I'm gonna pay a consultant, because when
I pay a consultant, that personis going to take me by the hand
and push me right into the thronesof the thrones of where I need to

be in psychiatry, so that whatwould take me two three years could take
me I'm in less than that.So that what I did was I literally
paid and it was a lot ofmoney. And when I paid, she
said to me, she said,you watch in the first three months,
you're gonna get that money back.I looked at her, I said,

I said, the math does notwork, but find with it. But
that math, it just don't work. And do you know, less than
three months I made all that moneyback. So what am I saying?
If you're watching and hearing us nowand you know that you have that.
You know, even as a gigeconomy, right, gig community, you

need people around you that know whatthey're doing. And there are times,
yes most times, actually you haveto pay for the real stuff. People
will be they'll give them the perrypherrow, but don't be expecting them to take
you to the throne of thrones.Why do you pay absolutely nothing? Right,

you cannot be wasting out. They'rewasting people's time. So talk to
people who are now excited watching andlistening. Now they're probably excited down and
say, oh, I'm an artist, now I know what to do.
Oh I'm a chefs, Now Iknow I can do this. Oh I'm
this now I know what to do. Talk to them about the important of

actually, yes, paying a consultantthat knows what they're doing, exactly,
take debt into the throus of thruthsexactly. Absolutely. I think the worst
thing that I that I had,my company has dealt with is someone that
have started that didn't have a consultant, because you have to backtrack because all

this stuff is a mess. Soyou have to like say, I'm sorry
you paid that person that had noexperience to help you, because they actually
put you behind. So researching whateversect you want to go on and finding
the you have to pay for thatnext level. That's right. And if
you're not ready to invest in yourself, you're not ready to take on what

you're seeing you want to take on, right, because sewing into yourself to
go to that next level is goingto be helpful. And that consultant or
the right business coach, it's notgonna do it for you. They'll they'll
help you facilitate you through the process, but they're gonna help you open doors

that you're gonna spend months trying toget open because you don't have a clue
about who to contact, who totalk to, none of that. They're
gonna help you through that process andthen they're gonna help facilitate the work.
One of the things I do ifI give a client work to do,
and when we meet the next time, they haven't done it, I'm like,
you're not ready. I can't bemore excited about your vision than you

are. You have to be putin the work. But having that person
walk alongside you is so critical ifyou're serious about going to the next level.
If you've been working a side gig, if you are a cybersecurity person
and you've been doing it a littlebit on the side, and you're working
for a company and you're ready togo to that next level, you need

to get with someone that's already atthe level that you want to be at.
When I was going through I wouldsee somebody where I want it to
be. That's who I would go. Ask your mentor or to me,
that's right, and they would connectme to someone that could could could coach
me and a consultant that would helpme go to that next level. I
wanted to hear the good, bad, and ugly because we all always see

on the surface is all the good. You don't know the back end of
it. And so knowing all ofthat is gonna help you really get started
and not stop. It's gonna helpyou to keep going because you're gonna have
someone walking alongside you. Just likethe word says, write the vision,
make it plain so those can peoplecan walk alongside you to help you get
right, run and then you canrun with it. But if you're just

out there with these blinders on,thinking you're gonna get there because you just
saw somebody on Instagram that has gottenthere, well how they got there,
but you don't know their backstory,well a whole topic back. Get you
(06:56):
a consultant or coach, it's okay, but I mean and get the right
one. Get the right one towork with. If you're gonna go into
something in the nursing field, talkget someone who's not even have never worked
in that space. Because they're agood coach, good consultant, doesn't mean
they're good in that sector. Theycan help you with the like infrastructure and

the I they can't help you withthat sector the inner workings of that.
I mean, I can go workwith with a law firm. And then
if a clinic calls me about it, if it's not HR, yeah,
(07:39):
I can't help them with no nursing. They talk about some medication. I
can't help you that. I canhelp you with your HR and your strategy.
Then you need to get someone that'sin there that has the background fears
on the nursing side, the businessof nursing and so people when you're gifted
at it, people see it aseasy. Just like you said earlier.

They see you. When I getup to speak, they were like,
wow, you you just did thisso easily. I said, it's because
I've been doing it a long time. I didn't gay when I first started.
I wasn't that good. But Ihad people that I would say,
tell me, how what did youthink about that? Give me some feedback.
People don't want feedback. I wantfeedback because you want feedback so you

can grow, so be teachable andreally get the right people and not just
I just keep thinking about the ladyyou said just left, not just running
out like I'm gonna do this becauseit looks easy. It is not easy.
That's why people I tell I tellyou what though? With me?
I think it also had something todo with age. I just felt like

I ain't got no time, allright, saying I don't have the time
to start making mistakes. I'm fallingflat on my face. So I'm just
gonna go get me somebody that's doingexactly what I want to do and owns
our own clinics. So she doesexactly. She's in the psychiatric industry,
(09:07):
she's doing exactly. So I justand she looked at me when I said,
okay, I'm gonna pay you howmuch? And she looked at me
like really, she said, becauseyou notice how long I have to drag
people to pay. I said,you don't have to drive me because I
don't have the time. I reallydon't have to fall flat. I've spent
(09:28):
my eli years falling flat on myface that part. So now just show
me what And like you said,it's true because a lot of times two
people will pay and then the thingthat pay me for them to just sit
here and then you do the runningexactly. That don't make sense either,
(09:48):
because how are you's gonna learn withher? She just told me these are
the things that you need to do. These are the paperwork, this is
this I'll see you the next time, and before the next time comes,
you better believe it. I'm donewith my homework, I'm done with my
home and I say, okay,yes. Then she said, oh wow,
this is fast. Okay do thesethese days so that when I first

opened my first first clinic within threemonths, everybody was shocked. I said,
you don't have to be shocked.I'm not shocked because I knew what
I was doing behind work. Yes, I just didn't tell you all,
but I know what I was doingbehind the scenes. I was working,
I was doing what I needed todo. And a lot of times you
go on Facebook these days and peopleknow who you are, theyn't know what

you do, and they just wantto get you, get that free thing
from you, and they'll be askingyou all things. I said, Look,
it's fine, I can give youthose stories, but you better believe
it. I'm not gonna take youto the throne exactly. And if you
want to go to the throne,you better find yourself somebody who can really
take you to the throne, someonethat you can pay and let them do

take you, walk you through itso that you can I've wrote a lot
of mistakes that you would do byjust getting going on Facebook and Instagram and
getting all these I know I gotfrom everybody exactly. I have one client
that I work with. She openedShe does contracts with d IDD with adults

with intellectual disabilities, and she wasworking opening all these homes and she was
one of my clients and so Iworked her through. It was a lot.
It's you know, if you're dealingwith government paperwork and you're dealing with
being burst, it's a lot.And so she paid for that for me
to help her do all of that. And now she has several homes in
(11:37):
Nashville getting ready buy more. Andthen someone else was watching her and they
reached that you know how they do. They reached that tell me they're not
wanting to pay nor put in thework. I was like, I said,
you gonna talk to esther and justask her about what all she did
to get to where she is.She I'm not doing all of that work.
She put in the work. Andpeople see how well you're doing and

they they think it's easy. It'sa lot of work. And getting that
consultant that can walk with you throughthat process open the doors for you,
make the introductions paperwork, you're gonnaspend a year trying to find and connect
to that person. No back,They've done it. They have done it

exactly exactly. It is not easy. Whether it's a side gig you're taking
full time, or you're you've beenworking in a sector, you want to
start your own, get you aconsultant if you want to do it right
when we look at just as wewrap up, I want to us tell
you that three words in your bookthat actually, you know, I think

we should do this again because yourbook, because I'm just a twenty four
y'all, twenty four and they andthe hours always gone and I'm just yeah,
so I want to talk to youabout this culture, business, politics,
because I was I was just thinkingabout what is going on globally now,

yeah, and that's tick America,for instance. It's almost impossible to
ignore politics in everything that we doright now, be it work, bed,
home, health, business, youcannot close your eyes and not even
see the impact of politics, andeven in this gig economy. Right And
(13:28):
in your book you talked, youtalked about the biggest factors that impact the
gig economy, and you talked aboutculture, you talked about business, and
you talked about politics. Can youbreak those three down for us, because
I read I gotta know this,Yes, yes, So let's start with

culture. Culture. Everybody I feelwith won't fit into the culture of the
gig economy because some people want morestructure, they want to work in corporate,
they want that standard position, andso they will struggle in a traditional
(14:15):
culture of work because they want theflexibility to do other stuff. Yeah,
the opposite with someone that loves thegig economy and just want to do sside
work or want to do what they'recreative giftings and they are tracked in the
