Una compagnia ha deciso di riaprire un teatro chiuso da tempo. Stanno provando un nuovo spettacolo. Due donne delle pulizie, che poi si riveleranno essere attrici disoccupate, lo stanno finendo di sistemare. Arrivano il regista e l’amministratore di compagnia e poi la prima attrice. Ma qualcosa non va. Gli altri attori non si vedono e lentamente salta fuori che non vogliono più fare lo spettacolo, sia perché non hanno visto ancora un euro, sia perché non condividono più né l’impostazione regista né il testo. La storia prenderà un percorso inaspettato.
