and don't forget stay tuned for my amazing, fantastic interview
with Kinsey Fabrizio. She is the new president of the
Consumer Technology Association. Now remember they are the same folks
(02:34):
that bring you the amazing CEES event that I have
been a part of for many years as a consumer
electronic owner to now a member of the media and
now inexistive and adaptive technology specialists. So we're going to
be talking about everything CS twenty twenty five, the latest
(02:56):
tech innovations, and much much more. So you don't want
to miss that's coming up in our second segment of
the show. So first up, let's talk about the AI
revolution that's been making headlines, and I mean really making headlines.
We're not just talking about fancy algorithms anymore. We're talking
(03:21):
about generative AI tools like chat, GPT and the one
powering my voice right here are changing the game. And
that was a joke because it's me, Paul laid in
a flush, but creating, studying artwork and even write code.
But this raises some big questions. While AI is making
(03:48):
all these jumps, will it take our jobs? No doubt,
everyone is kind of scared about that, and how will
we ensure the AI is used and also responsibly? And
we're even seeing government step in to try to regulate
this powerful technology. And we can say it's the wild
(04:11):
wild West out there, folks, and it's only getting wilder,
especially with the deep fakes that are going on, and
it's something that we need to be and be aware of. Now,
speaking of wild let's talk about the metaverse. Remember that
you know it was still a thing, and it is
(04:35):
still a thing, I promise. Apple just dropped its Vision
Pro headset. And while it'll cost you an arm and
a leg are pretty pitty, it's really a serious step
towards the forward thinking and augmented and virtual reality imagine
an immersive gaming experience. Virtual meetings that actually feel like
(04:58):
you're in the room and shopping for clothes without leaving
your couch.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
But the metaverse is about more than just.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
Fun and games. Now companies are now exploring how to
use it and when it comes to training for education
and even healthcare. Now is this the future of how
we connect and interact with the world? Well, friends, I
will say this, only time will tell. The only time
(05:33):
will tell. Now let's get down to some some hardware.
You ready, Now, the battle for chips supremacy is raising,
with giants like Intel, AMD and the video really vying
for dominance. Have you watching in video stock lately? And
this really impacts everything from the price of your next
(05:56):
laptop to breakthroughs and artificial intel diligence. And speaking of laptops,
foldable phones are making a comeback. Remember Samsung, I think
it was last year at Google Io.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
I was there. It was cold out there in Mountain View.
Speaker 4 (06:17):
But they've been pushing them for a while and now
I'm sorry Google getting my brands mixed up. Google has
thrown his hat into the ring. And these foldable devices.
Are they just a fad or are they the future
of smartphones? I'm curious to hear what you think kind
(06:38):
of reminds me of when when tablets first came out.
It wasn't fad at first, but and people started using
them many years later. So are we going to see
that again when it comes to it to foldable phones.
I know, you can stick it in your pocket and
do all these other things. But yeah, but it's not
all about shiny new gadgets. Friends, we need to talk
(06:59):
about the environmental impact of all this tech e waste.
It's a growing problem and we need to find a
better ways to recycle and dispose of our old electronics. Now,
there is good news. Many companies are using technology to
(07:20):
tackle climate change that you develop renewable energy sources and
promote sustainable practices. So that's something you know, we never
we never thought of when we started being in a
technology game.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
Oh it's cool, gadget, but but what about the waste? Right?
Speaker 4 (07:42):
A new phone comes out every three seconds? So yeah,
So what do you think of all this? Are you
excited about the future of AI? Are you ready to
jump in to the metaverse? Concerned about the environmental impact
of tech addiction? You know, reach out to us and
(08:03):
let us know. We would love to share your feedback
with the rest of the audience and see.

going on.
