I have on my show today as my very special guest. Okay,
Kinsey Fabrizi. Oh, yes, the Kinzie Fabrizio, President of the
(03:07):
Consumer Technology Association. They are the organization that puts on
CEES and I'm so delighted that I have the privilege
to talk with her about CEES twenty twenty six, what
we have to look forward to on the show coming up,
and just wow, a couple of months, a few months. Yeah,
(03:27):
so this is November, December, January. Oh my goodness, we
are so close, sixty seventy days something like that. Wow.
But y'all know I love the CTA. I've had a
great relationship with them for many years. They allowed me
to take the tech Zone there and do some live
broadcasting there back when I had my morning show, before
(03:50):
the Tech Zone was even even thought of, I was
their broadcasting line. They always showed me love, always welcomed
me and my wheelchair and the rest of my team,
and I just love the relationship that I have with them,
and that's why I'm I'm as giddy as a student
schoolboy welcoming on our next guest. Let's see what Kensey
(04:13):
has in store for us and what we have to
look forward to at CS twenty twenty six. Y'all. So
I'm so delighted right now to have my next guest.
Remember my great friend Steve you'll kind of spilled the
beans and said she was gonna be on the show.
Well she's here. We have the president of the Consumer
Technology Association, my friend Kenzy Fabrizio. What's going on, Kensey?
Speaker 1 (04:37):
Howrd?
Speaker 3 (04:38):
I'm good.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
It's so good to see you, and I'm so happy
to be here with you.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
Kenzie. It is amazing to talk with you, to see you,
and you know what, you have elevated my status because
when I tell people, you know Kenzy Forbidezio, president CTA,
that's my friend, you know that, right, and they're like,
you know her, I'm like, yeah, I know her. That's
that's my buddy right there.
Speaker 4 (05:00):
So listen, I say the same thing about you. You
elevate my status. I tell people I know you, and
they're like.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
Oh, so you do it for me too.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
You do it for me too, Okay.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
You know you took Kenzie when I can't believe Kenzy,
we're only like a couple of months away from from
CS and wow, it's make on. Yesterday we were in
Vegas together.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
I know it's right around the corner. I can't wait.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
Yeah, So I'll tell you what. Let's dive into some
topics out there that everyone wants to know about and
what we have to look forward to. Twenty twenty six
coming up. So, since you took over the presidency in
twenty twenty four at KINZI, you overseen some major transitions
(05:45):
in the tech landscape. What do you see as the
defining priorities or opportunities shaping CEES twenty twenty six.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
Yeah, well, that's such a great question, and there's a few.
Of course. A I is going to continue to be
an amazing topic at CEES, and we'll see it across
every vertical Quantum is you know, we had quantum at
CEES twenty twenty five. Quantum. We'll be back at CEES
twenty twenty six, and it's very exciting. Mobility is a
(06:19):
huge trend at CES. We're seeing it across you know,
land with vehicles at ce with marine technology, so industrial technology.
We're so excited to look at how mobility is being
transformed in these categories. Digital health one of my favorites.
I love this category of tech. Tech for good tech
(06:41):
that's going to really drive us into the future in
an amazing way. And you know another thing I'm excited
about for CS twenty six immersive entertainment and the experience
in the home and how that's just going to continue
to get better and better and more innovation.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
That is so true, Kinsey. And when we look about
where we're at in the stream of time when it
comes to technology, I mean, we started with with CTA
and seeing where it's at today. Did you ever imagine, Kinsey,
that you would see just this much growth in technology
and different industries that are using it now that every
(07:22):
industry has a tech wing.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
Now, yeah, I mean every industry is a tech company.
And we've been saying that for years at CTA and
we see it at CES, and the evolution that has
happened in the tech industry and in the companies and
the exhibitors and the products that we see at CES
has just been amazing. I Mean, you think about a
(07:46):
company like John Deere and Caterpillar and Lareel and all
of these amazing big brands that you know and think of,
but you might not immediately associate them with tech companies.
Yet here they are at CES and they're doing amazing,
amazing things powered by tech.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
That is so true, and CS continues to grow in
size and influence. Now, Kinsey, this is like the fifty
four thousand dollars question. How do you balance that scale
with creating meaningful connections and visibility even for smaller exhibitors
and startups.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
Well, one thing that CEES can deliver that no other
show can is something for everyone. Truly. We have conference programming,
networking events, exhibits, startups, keynotes in every single category. No
matter who you are, there's something for you at CES.
That also makes it a challenge, as you mentioned, because
(08:49):
it's so large, and so the way that we try
to wrap our arms around that is by creating shows
within a show. So if you think of C space
and this is the community for CS and advertising, tech
and content and entertainment and media and creators, that's a
show within a show that takes place at the Aria
(09:09):
Cosmo Vedara New this year we'll have another show within
a show concept that the CEES foundry, and this will
be a show for folks that are creating amazing AI solutions,
generative AI and agentic AI and vertical AI solutions, as
well as quantum companies showcasing their quantum solutions, So we
(09:32):
try to look at it in that way. And then
we also really try to focus on personalization and how
we can help communicate to different types of attendees and
tendee groups how to have a personalized CES experience, and
so we do that through our email communication and through
our app as well. Will allow attendees to really personalize
(09:54):
how they want to experience CEES, whether it's conference programming,
visiting different exhibitors, attending networking events, you know, finding their
community at CEES.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
Hey, Kenzie, that's amazing. We can personalize our CS experience.
If you have never been to CEES before, it's like walking.
Was it a thousand football fields? I know, I'm high
perpolezing right, high perpolyzing right now?
Speaker 4 (10:19):
Too far off?
Speaker 3 (10:20):
It's pretty big. Yeah, it is, it is, and so
sometimes you have to make sure you're personalizing now kids.
Was that some feedback that attendees. Yeah, the organization say,
if we can personalize it, be a little bit more,
you know, better for us.
Speaker 4 (10:33):
Yes, absolutely, And we do post show attendee surveys and
we really want to hear from our customers, all of
our customers, our exhibitors, the media, attendees what would make
their show experience better, and we heard very loud and
clear a few things. Personalization would be very valuable, and
so we're working on that. We'll actually even have a
feature in our CS app that is a gen Ai
(10:55):
tool that will help with personalization for each individual's experience.
That's one thing we wanted to get right. We also
heard a lot of feedback from attendees that the show
is hard to navigate and people get lost, and so
we implemented the mapping, the blue dot mapping technology into
the app for CS twenty five and we're happy to
have it back for CS twenty six. And we got
(11:17):
so much positive feedback after CS twenty five of people saying,
I made my meetings on time, I didn't get lost,
I was able to easily find the boobs I wanted
to visit. It helped me be more efficient at the show.
So we're so excited to bring that back to CS
twenty six.
Speaker 3 (11:34):
And Chinsey, you must have heard about the time when
I got lost when I had to go host the
Eureka Park pitch competition. I got lost, So thank you.
So next time I do that, I can look them
on the map and nowhere to go. Thank you weak of.
Speaker 4 (11:48):
All the blue dot navigation. But listen, it happens. I mean,
you would be hard to find somebody who hasn't gotten
lost on a CES show floor.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
Yes, thank you so much. We really really appreciate that.
And we can spen a little time with the emerging
trends or themes. Do you expect what do you expect
to dominate twenty twenty six? Another few years back, it
was the IoT, others it was AI. What about twenty
twenty six, especially in the areas like AI, health tech, sustainability,
(12:19):
extended reality, and how the CTA is aligning the show
around those kind of innovations.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
Absolutely well, they're all they're all kind of interconnected. So
if you think about AI, that's a huge trend we'll
see at the show. Emerging in that category, which I
think will be pretty big at CS twenty six is
physical AI, also known as robotics, and you're going to
see a lot of that technology in North Hall. It's
exciting because it really brings AI to life in a
(12:49):
physical way and demonstrates all of the different unique capabilities
that we will be able to realize in our everyday
lives powered by this technology. It also requires a lot
of power and energy to do this, and so we
will see energy and energy future be a conversation at
CES and we'll have some exhibitors in that space that
(13:09):
are looking at different types of power and alternative power sources.
We know that our current gred can't handle the demands
that AI is going to put on it, and so
companies are being really thoughtful and we're seeing some big
players in this space show up at CEES to talk
about their alternative energy power solutions, and that's exciting for
(13:32):
us to see that. In the case of health, wearables
are kind of re emerging as this big trend. You know,
I have an orr ring on orr ring will be
at CES. So many really cool wearables. I love Abbot's
continuous glucose monitor LINGO that they launched at CEES. They
announced it at CS a few years ago. It's in
(13:52):
the market, I've tried it, I love it. It will
be at CES and so I love that wearables are
just growing so much into a category that everyday consumers
can buy wearables that will empower them with data about
their own health and wellness. And I love that CS
as a platform for those companies. So that's a big
(14:15):
trend in the health area. I'm super excited about.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
Wow, I am too, Kinsey. When you think about how
we can be the stewards of our own health, it's
pretty amazing and technology really having us to do that.
I know, one of these smart rings now it helps
me to see how I'm doing with sleep, the hard weight,
when I'm exercising and everything. And it's really really showing
(14:40):
how we can take ownership and living at a healthy lifestyle.
And it's really amazing that Cees is going to continue
that conversation with it. And you kind of mentioned about
and ability, and we all know the way that AI
is now. We need something that's going to power. We
need to power all that. And Kinsey, I'm not going
(15:02):
to say anything to get you and I are in trouble,
but do they get it? And you know who I'm
talking about, They do they get it? I don't. I
don't want to get your I in trouble or anything.
But are they Are they understanding that this is something
that's not optional, especially when it comes to AI.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
Yes, I believe so. And there's there is a lot
of emphasis on the need for clearing the path for AI,
to make sure that our energy infrastructure is a key
part of that, and that looks like, you know, building
up energy resources across all categories and making sure that
we allow innovation to thrive in this space so that
(15:42):
we can power AI and we can power the next
generation of tech. You'll see that at CES. There's a
brand new exhibitor in North Hall. Korean Power Company will
be there showcasing how they're addressing this globally, and you're
going to see a lot of other companies, you know, Panasonic,
Hast Solutions, g Has Solutions. You'll see all of these
companies showcasing what they're doing in terms of energy and
(16:06):
energy management and of course sustainability. Jackery will be back
up CEES again, a fame in that category. So I
do think everyone gets it and it is a top priority.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
Awesome. Great to hear that because you know, you know,
I'll be stocking you on social media when I when
I see you at the heel talk and everything, and
I'm like, yeah, Chensey, she gonna she's gonna get everybody
to see what's up, you know, so yeah, drops on
a send hearing and everything. That was amazing.
Speaker 4 (16:34):
Thank you that was really fun to do.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
Yeah, we really appreciate you advocating, you know, for us
when it come to technology, because it's something that we
we really really need and really appreciate it. And you
talked about the CS boundary. Yeah, and your answers, I
want to dive a little bit deeper in that, you know,
especially as a destination for different collaborations across AI block
(17:00):
chain con check, how will that really how that initiative
operate in practice, and what kind of outcomes do you
hope it will generate.
Speaker 4 (17:12):
Well, first of all, we feel that this is a
great opportunity for AI companies who have a have a
great story to tell, or even you know, traditional tech
companies that are that are using AI that have a
great story to tell, but it's it's a software based story,
and so you tell that story differently. And the concept
(17:33):
of the foundry is that there'll be multiple stages and
smaller activation opportunities for companies to showcase just how important
AI is to the future of everything, how we live,
how we work, how we play, our health, all of
the key our mobility, you know, how we move everything
that we've talked about already today and how AI is
(17:55):
powering is so in the Foundry, we will showcase some
companies like Nvidia and Bosh and Hatachi and Brunswick, Deep ex, Zebra,
tom Tom, Here Technologies, Agility, Robots and so many others,
and they're going to be talking about what I just said,
(18:16):
how AI is transforming the world. We'll also have Quantineum,
which is an amazingly innovative quantum company, talking about how
how they're changing the world. And this will all be
in the Foundry, so attendees, it'll be open to all.
Attendees can come, they can hear these really powerful conversations
and they can see some demos and connect with the
(18:36):
exhibitors there.
Speaker 3 (18:39):
Pick me into the decision making when it comes to
the foundry, if you can, Kinsey, I'm blown away when
I heard about it And was this something that you
all were planning for a while and now it came
to fruition or can you share that with us?
Speaker 4 (18:54):
Well, you know every year when we come back from CEES,
the team and and the team that runs CES it's
comprised of the most amazing staff. They're so smart, they're
so brilliant, they're so forward looking, but most importantly they
listen to their customers, and they understand what our customers want,
and they understand the evolution of the tech industry, and
(19:17):
they saw such a surge in AI companies over the
last few years. They're seeing their beginning to see quantum
be a conversation at CES and the team really put
their heads together and said, how do we look at
CEES for this category differently. You know, an AI company
wants to showcase how their solution works, and you know,
(19:41):
if it's an agentic tool, they want to show a
user in kind of an intimate experience, you know, just
how their agentic tool helps problem solve for their business
or for an individual consumer. And so we've felt like
a way to do that would be in a unique
space where these types of companies can all be together
(20:02):
and it can can demo their solution, can talk about
the impact of the solution, and have a captive audience
who wants to, you know, come in and out and
visit throughout the day. We'll publish the schedule of all
the different talks that will happen on the stages there
and give a guide that outlines who the exhibitors and
the kiosks are. Excuse me, and we really want to
(20:24):
make it digestible, and so that was the concept of
the foundry. It's really you know, looking at the emergence
and the growth of this category from past cs is
understanding the landscape of companies, talking to them, hearing how
they would want to participate and show up at CEES,
and then building that for them. And nobody does that
better than the team at CEES. It's the most brilliant,
(20:46):
brilliant group of leaders.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
I totally agree. I will definitely co sign on that
because it's always blows me away every year, every year.
And also, let me look at the major role that
you all play at the CTA when it comes to
developing industry standards. I will see S twenty twenty six
really tackle issues around ethics, trust, transparency in AI and
(21:12):
other transformative technologies. Yeah, well, this is.
Speaker 4 (21:16):
Something that we work on three hundred and sixty five
days a year. We have dozens of standards in the
AI category across many, many different verticals of AI. The
team is always looking at this, They're always focused on this.
You'll they will talk about some of their work and
our different conference sessions throughout CES and you'll see the
(21:38):
different solutions and the companies that have been a part
of our standards work, they will be at CEES too,
So it's something that it happens all year long. And
our standards team, you know, we're anti accredited, which is unique,
which means we are an accredited organization to right standards.
That team is one of the most important and critical
(22:00):
teams at CEES when it comes to creating new markets
and creating the fundamental foundations and specs that go into
what you just said, all of the important parts of
AI trust, transparency, accountability, you know, making sure that we
get all of those rate and get the industry together
to have that conversation. There's nobody that's more equipped to
(22:23):
do it than the CTA Standards team. And I'm really
proud that we're the leaders there and I.
Speaker 3 (22:28):
Love all the different talks and sessions panels that is
going to happen is really amazing. Have you ever thought
about making CES two weeks that we can see everything?
Speaker 4 (22:39):
That would be crazy?
Speaker 3 (22:41):
Itoul Well, you know, you can you can view.
Speaker 4 (22:45):
Content after the show, which is I think that's nice
because you know, with over three hundred conference sessions, who
could go to all of them? Right, and so being
able to view them post show, I think is really valuable.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
I totally agree, And when you look at not only
things that are happening in domestic era, but even global
and talk about how CTA plays that role even when
it comes to different global technologies out there too. And
one thing I always say about the tech world, Kinsey,
is that if you want to see how the world
(23:19):
can get together and get along and everybody act like
they got some sense, come to CEES. I mean you
see how people can get along and talk about the
role of the CTA plays globally in really helping showcase
innovation not only from different parts of the globe, but
how that even impacts things here domestically.
Speaker 4 (23:38):
Yeah. Well, it's such a good question and a good
point CS is where the world comes together. You know what, CS.
There are one hundred and sixty different countries represented in
some way at our show. We have our Eureka Park area,
which is all of our startups, and we have pavilions
from so many different amazing countries in Eureka Park, and
(23:59):
these countries are showcasing how they are changing the world
with technology, and they're showing off their best in their
brightest and it's amazing to have that. At CEES, we
have our global Conference Thought Leadership and our programming where
we invite ministers and leaders from governments around the world
to speak about how they're looking at AI quantum, how
(24:23):
they're dealing with emerging tech and innovation, and what are
they doing to create a tech friendly environment for small
businesses and large companies. As you know, we are an
organization that we rank countries with our Global Innovation Scorecard,
and we rank them and how innovation friendly we are,
(24:46):
and we give those awards out at CEF. It's really
important to us to highlight and spotlight countries that are
very friendly towards innovation. Forty percent of our attendees come
from outside of the US at CEF, and it is
just this global gathering. There's no other event that takes
place in the United States that brings more people from
(25:07):
outside the US than CEES. It's very important to us.
And leading up to the show, we travel internationally. We
go to Europe and we go to Asia, and you know,
we were in Korea a few weeks ago. We'll be
in Amsterdam, we were in France, we had a team
that went down to Brazil. We really try to get
(25:27):
in front of all of the key markets and the
key countries that are showing up at CS in different ways.
I wish we could go to all of them, but
we would kind of do it like every other year
to try to visit as many and we get to
see firsthand their entrepreneurs, their startups and their established companies
and how they're going to show up at CES.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
So Kensy, I guess the elephant in the room is this.
We know there are some geopolitical things that are going
on that can impact tech. How do you walk the
fine line with it, Kinsey, because nobody's mad at chage
the CTA. I mean, how do you do that and
how that's going to continue at CEES.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (26:08):
Well, the amazing thing about tech and innovation is it
transcends borders. It's it's global and every country, no matter
who you are, is really thinking about how to be innovative,
how to be tech friendly. They're thinking about AI, they're
thinking about energy, they're thinking about how to bring these
new tech solutions to market. And CS is a global marketplace.
(26:30):
We're a global convenor and it's our priority to bring
the world together at CEES. So we focus on what
tech does how tech is solving the world's biggest challenges.
You know, we have our partnership with the United Nations,
and you know, we really focus on those you know,
human those pillars of human securities, and every country that
(26:54):
is coming to CEES, they're they're they're looking at these
tools and solutions too. You know, they want to find
and tech for healthcare and environmental technology, you know, food tech,
industrial tech. It's all a priority, and we're proud to
be the global convener for this community.
Speaker 3 (27:12):
It's akinsy. Last year was the first time that CS
did something that I never thought would happened, and that
was invite influencers and content creators to participate. Will we
see that same level of engagement at CEES twenty twenty
six and how do view their role in shaping the
future of consumer tech?
Speaker 4 (27:34):
Stairytelling, Yes, well, thank you for bringing that up. It
was a first at CES twenty five, who was so
successful that I'm happy to say we will have our
creator space back at CS twenty twenty six, even bigger.
This was a first for us and we are so
happy to bring it back. We know creators are so
(27:55):
important to the tech community, to brands, to getting products
in front of consumers into storytelling, and we really want
to continue to make space for this community to come
to CEES. So Creator Space will be even bigger. It
will be moving to Central Hall so that the creators
(28:17):
can be in the middle of the action. And we're
looking forward to how they take advantage of this new
location and this space. I think it's going to be phenomenal.
I think we're going to see some great coverage. I
also think we're going to see some cool sponsors in
the Creator Space that are showcasing different tools and different
applications and products that the creator community uses to produce
(28:42):
their content and distribute their content and to have a
unique experience as a creator themselves. And so we'll see
all of that come together at CEES. It's going to
be great. But this is an important community to us.
Speaker 3 (28:57):
I am so so happy to hear it at I
you know, it's interesting, you know, even though being a
member of the media.
Speaker 4 (29:05):
You're also a creator.
Speaker 3 (29:07):
Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Five about five years ago I started
getting too content creating, so I went over to the
Creator Space and I was like, this is cool. So
so now what I'm gonna do? You know, I'll spend
some time over in our broadcast bait and I'll go
to the creator space do my thing over there. And
and you know, for all my journalists out there and everything,
don't be hating be a part of us. So they
(29:29):
telling stories, we all do it together.
Speaker 4 (29:30):
So absolutely there's there's space for everyone. Traditional journalists are
critical to CEES and the big brands, big brands, small companies,
emerging company, startups. They want to talk to traditional journalists
and media and broadcasters as well. It's a critical part
of CEES and we love that community and we want
(29:51):
that community to continue to be at cs and grow
and thrive. We also think there's an opportunity to make
space for creators too. You know, we know that that
this is a gir in category. We know some of
the younger attendees that come to see us, and the
demographics as they shift want to look to creators too,
and so we want to make sure that we have
an opportunity for all. You know, we have two creators
(30:11):
that are at CEES, Brian Tongue and I Justine, and
they're talking about the show and sharing it and sharing
their experience through their channels too. And so we think
there's space for everyone in all of those communities are
extremely important to us and the tech industry more broadly.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
Yeah, I totally agree. And as I tell everybody, we
in this together. We all storytellers, and we all work together.
And I heard a little rumor that that this little
dark chocolate content creator slash media personality who has a
nice little wheelchair maybe joining Brian and Justine, maybe on
(30:50):
a few little excursions. I heard a little heard a
little rumor. I don't know, I don't know if it's
gonna be true or not, but I heard that We're
gonna put that little rumor out there.
Speaker 4 (31:03):
It's a very cool rumor.
Speaker 3 (31:06):
Well, that's the fun and one thing I love about
CEES and also CTA, it's all about inclusion. We see
that when it comes to content creators and everything, but
also when it comes to the tech sector in particular.
What steps is CTA taking to make CEES twenty twenty
(31:27):
six more inclusive, ensuring participation from underrepresented founders, global voices,
and the disability community.
Speaker 4 (31:38):
Well, this is something that's so important to us. You know,
we believe innovation can come from anywhere, so it's important
to us to make sure that through our conference programming
in our stages that we have voices across all different
categories and all types of backgrounds talking about how innovation
is central to who they are as individuals and the
(31:59):
company is that they've created, and the products that they've developed,
and the organizations that they stand behind. So that is
something that you will continue to see at CES. Inclusion
is such a part of our DNA and who we are.
The one thing I'm super excited about for CS. You know,
accessibility tech programming has been wildly popular and we see
(32:21):
so many cool products and solutions. Some of the most
innovation and innovative products and solutions are in the accessibility space,
and I love that CS is a platform for that.
We love it so much that we will have a
accessibility stage, a three days of content on a stage
exclusive to accessibility tech for the first time ever at CES.
(32:45):
It's sponsored by Verizon and Microsoft is also going to
be a part of it. There's some great Bluetooth partnership
in tech that's going to be a part of it
as well, and so this is a first for us.
Will We talked to Steve about it when he was
on talking about the Foundation. We're so happy that this
(33:05):
is going to be president at CEES. It's very important
and it gives a bigger platform to companies who are
doing really creative things and innovative things in the accessibility
tech space the opportunity to talk about what they're doing.
So we couldn't be happier and more proud of this opportunity.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
I am too, I am. I am so delighted. You know,
I remember, Kinsey, I want to say, right before COVID,
I remember Steve and I having conversations about how this
would maybe come to fruition, and I think it was
originally maybe North Hall, and it was. It was some
talk and everything. And then well when I talked to
Steve the other day to see now where it is,
(33:47):
it is so amazing. And Kinsey, I want to go
back in time a little bit. Might have been twenty
twenty two. We were all in Beverly Hills together, We're
having lunch with all members of the media, and I
can tell if Kensey was able to use the force
that day, she would have force choked me because I
asked Kenzy a question about accessibility, and Kensey looked at
(34:09):
me and like, you just wait and see, You're going
to see some accessibility.
Speaker 4 (34:14):
Yeah. I was like, I don't think we were ready
to announce yet.
Speaker 3 (34:20):
You're like, Paul, you know, it's not tiring. I caught
the clue. I caught, definitely caught.
Speaker 4 (34:25):
But it's coming.
Speaker 3 (34:27):
And it's here now. That that is really really amazing.
Speaker 4 (34:33):
Yeah, it's awesome. I mean, you know, we talk about
the really cool accessibility tech, whether it's for people with
limited mobility or you know, people who are visually impaired.
You know, it's there are so many cool solutions at
cees over the counter hearing aids. That was a huge
CTA initiative for many years. And I love getting to
(34:57):
see this tech and having CEES be a platform for
these types of products. And how great is it that
companies by creating accessibility tech, they open up even a
bigger market of customers to build their solutions and their
market with. So it's a win win all around.
Speaker 3 (35:17):
I totally agree. And Kinsey, whenever I'm doing my other
side hustle as an accessibility consultant, whenever I'm sitting across
the room negotiating with someone, always tell them do you
want to get thirty percent more customers? Glowly Yep, Yeah,
we can help you do that because we have a
loyal customer base. Just here is the out on this.
(35:40):
It will definitely happen. And Kensy, you're starting to see that.
Speaker 4 (35:43):
Now, Yes, yes, absolutely, you're so right, and it's such
an important opportunity for companies to take advantage of.
Speaker 3 (35:52):
So true. And as part of that focus of diversity
and representation, what are some of those key tracks talks
or are panels that will explore these topics in depth
of CEES twenty twenty six if you can share that
with us.
Speaker 4 (36:05):
Yeah, Well, we'll have our Innovation for All programming back
again at CES. So this brings together various different communities
across the tech industry. We were centered on building a
robust community for all. So we have our LGBTQ and
(36:25):
Allies reception, we have our Black and Brown Tech Leaders Reception,
and our Women in Tech Brunch, among others. We will
have a lot of different programming. The full list I
don't have available yet, but we will have it soon
and well, it will be published on our website and
available in our app so that folks can find our
Innovation for All content very easily at CES.
Speaker 3 (36:48):
I love that. I love that, Kenzie and just a
few more, few more questions, and now I'll release you
from my custody because I know you have a very
busy schedule, but you all day I can't to you
know you are so amazing and really love your insight
on a lot of these things, Kinzie, because you speak
with clarity, you speak with focus, easy to understand.
Speaker 5 (37:10):
So you make me look good, So I can have
that any time, So rightly got you. Cess As has
long been a launch pad for startups and what new
are expanded initiatives will support early stage companies and help
them more from proto types to commercial success.
Speaker 3 (37:34):
Can you share that with us well?
Speaker 4 (37:36):
As you know every year at CES we have your
Rica Park, which is our exciting, most vibrant part of
the show floor. It's all for startups and we see
them bringing their ideas to life. We've heard from that
community that they want a better opportunity to connect with investors.
So of course we've had a match program for many years,
(37:58):
but new this year, we're going to be allowing exhibitors
who are looking for funding to let us know that
and that will opt them in to a special database
that investors will be able to search through and find
different exhibitors looking for funding and be able to connect
(38:18):
with them and talk to them about what they're looking for,
here a pitch from them, get a product demo, and
really bring an intimate connection for those two communities at CEF.
Speaker 3 (38:29):
All right, kinzy. So when CS twenty twenty six conclude
its what key measures will define success in your eyes?
And how do you hope your leadership will shape the
future of the Consumer Technology Association and the broader tech ecosystem.
Speaker 4 (38:47):
Yeah, well, CS is where business gets done, and so
a couple of things that are most important for us
is ensuring that our exhibitors and our customers meet their goals.
And a lot of times their goals are to get
recognition for branding, for press, for business meetings, for deals,
(39:08):
for connections, and so we really want to make sure
that our customers reach their goals. We hold ourselves to
a very high bar when it comes to customer service
and customer success, and so that's very very important to us.
In terms of shipping the future. You know, Gary coined
the phrase innovate or die, and I hope to build
(39:30):
on that and to build on that through CEES, which
is constantly evolving the tech industry. Which is constantly innovating,
and how we bring those communities together and how we
deliver the best experience, create the best global platform for
innovation and really drive the future of tech forward.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
Kinzie, that is amazing. I always love Gary Shapiro's quotes. Man, Gary,
Gary is. Gary's a guy with a couple of quotes
really really bad. Absolutely so, Kinzie, before I let you
do anything else out there, you'd like to share with
the viewer of the listener out there about CEES twenty
twenty six.
Speaker 4 (40:08):
