In the dark shadows, in thewhite cold. Fearlessly we search for knowledge
new and old. We drink thestrong spirits and read the ancient tongs.
The order of the Abercast. Weare the brave and the bold, The
(00:33):
Abercast A coult history, conspiracy andviolence. American not American't we're gonna be
(01:21):
talking about American today. Welcome tothe Ebercast. I'm your host, John
Towers, Doctor John Towers. SoI have my vessel of the art here,
jam packed full of my weapon,my recipe, my formula for the
weapon of mass distraction, my gingerhod I do have also present and accounted
(01:46):
for my traumatic coping mechanism vate penSo I got these two things here,
and you know what that means. It means it's time once again, my
friends, to sit around the campfireand tell some stories. We're gonna tell
(02:13):
some stories. So this is kindof a culmination of a lot of stuff.
We're gonna talking about biblical prophecy again. This is kind of a culmination
of a lot of stuff we spokeabout over the years, starting in twenty
seventeen. Specifically, we talked aboutthe Sign of Jonah. I believe two
episodes if I had a feature topiclink. I really gotta get doing something
(02:37):
about the that website anyhow, Solet's go. Here we go. We
got a lot of stuff to getthrough, so I don't want to waste
a whole lot of time. Ohmy god, that's so good. So
we're gonna start tonight's discussion out withthe We're gonna be talking about evil generations.
(03:02):
And there's specifically two Bible verses thatwe're gonna talk about to start this
party off. No one's ever saidthat before Matthew twelve thirty nine. But
he answered and said to them,an evil and adulterous generation craves for a
(03:23):
sign, and yet no sign willbe given to it, but the sign
of Jonah the prophet. Just alittle bit later in Matthew sixteen to four,
basically the same line, an eviland adulterous generation seeks after a sign,
and a sign will not be givenexcept the sign of Jonah. And
(03:46):
he left them and walked away.So we're gonna move over to this blog.
I've never read from this blog before. Seems like a pretty straight laced
Christian kind of guy. Chrisfieldblog dotcom Practical and Insight based on biblical wisdom.
(04:09):
However, he talks about these thisevil generation. Do we or do
you live in an evil generation?Or are you surrounded by nice people who
live nice lives and do nice things? I think we all know the answer
(04:30):
to that right out of the Howare we to evaluate the society in which
we live? Do we know ifwe are living among evil people? The
citizens of God of Sodom felt prettyhappy with themselves while God was standing just
a few miles away, ready todestroy them and their city forever. How
(04:53):
do we know the same is nottrue for our cities and our generations.
The Bible describes an evil generation, and so I want to discuss that description
with you. But first let meanswer the question of how you can properly
evaluate your own society. I suggestthat there are two ways to accurately evaluate
(05:16):
the society in which you live. The first way is a revelation of God.
The second way is to compare yoursociety to what God says in his
word. Of these ways involve theexternal reference point of God. And if
you try to evaluate things from yourown sense, you are up against the
(05:40):
fact that your own way will seemright in your eyes. You are also
up against the factor of a searedconsciousness that no longer feels pays at doing
what is wrong. So an externalreference point is needed. Difference point should
not be someone or something that isevil, but something of the highest moral
(06:06):
standing, so we refer to God. The constant experience in Bible history is
that people who saw God instantly sawhow defiled and unworthy they and their societies
were. So one good way toproperly evaluate your society is to see God.
(06:32):
I've heard of you by the hearingof the ear, but now my
eye sees you. Therefore I abhoremyself and represent the dust and the ashes.
That's job forty two five and six. In the year that King Usiah
died, I saw also the Lordsitting on his throne high, and I
(06:54):
lifted up, and his train filledthe temple. Then said I woe is
me, for I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips,
and I dwell in the midst ofpeople of unclean lips. For mine
eyes have seen the King, theLord of Hosts Isaiah six one and five.
(07:19):
When Simon Peter saw it, hefell down at a Jesus's knees,
saying, depart from me, forI am a sinful man, O Lord
Luke five eight. We could getpeople to see the Lord. Then they
would see how far higher consciousness ofthe evil within their city. More people
(07:46):
would repent of their thoughts and theiractions and their way of life. God's
description of an evil generation. TheBible gives us various references to evil generations.
And we have the cities of Sodomand Gomora. We have the churches
Jesus, Jesus rebut and the Bookof Revelations. We have the Canaanite nations
(08:13):
which were destroyed because of their evilways. Jesus described those who were goats
and would go in eternal punishment. You go back and find the sabbatical goat
episode. The Book of Proverbs, written by King Solomon, we have four
verses which specifically describe an evil generation. This does not mean a particular generation
(08:39):
in history, but a subgroup withinthe societies. Proverbs thirty eleven through fourteen.
There is a generation that curse theirfather and blessed not their mother.
There is a generation that are purein their own eyes, and yet are
not washed from their filthiness. Thereis a generation, Oh, how wealthy
(09:03):
are their eyes and their eyelids arelifted up. There is a generation whose
teeth are as swords in their jaw, teeth as knives to devour the poor
from off the earth and the needyfrom among men. So let's break down
(09:24):
and review this list of evils whichmake a culture, nation, or people
evil. There are four separate referencesto generation, and there are four different
qualities which are identified as characteristics ofevil and evil generation. As we investigate
them, consider how many of themare part of the culture and the society
(09:46):
in which you live. Those whocure, those who curse the father and
do not bless their mother. Arethose who are individualistic. They are the
(10:09):
people who value their independence and theirindividuality over their place and their family lineage.
They do not see themselves as aproduct of generational race, but they
are determined to be their own personand do their own thing. They are
happy to rebel against the wishes ofthe parents if they are if they have
(10:31):
to, so they can achieve whateverit is that they see as valuable.
I'm gonna put a checkmark in thisbox here on my personal tally sheet.
I mean individualistic, I do shitmy own way, and uh, I
don't really have a great relationship witheither of my parents. No, this
(10:54):
kind of independence brings a curse onthe earth. The profit Lakai prophesied God's
intention to send someone to turn theirhearts of fathers to their sons and their
sons to their fathers. If thiswas not achieved, there would be a
curse on the earth. And hewill turn the heart of the fathers to
(11:16):
the children, and the heart ofthe children to their fathers, lest I
come and smite the earth with acurse Malachi for six. The self righteous
those who are pure in their owneyes even though they have not properly dealt
with their sins, or those whoare self righteous. They are people who
(11:41):
reject God's standards of behavior and whothen justify themselves based on their own opinion.
They are people who assert their owngoodness when they are just as human
as everyone else. These are peoplewho do what is right in their own
eyes, thinking their way is rightsince every man's way is right in their
(12:07):
own eyes. These people are deludedand deceived, like the lack loud Ofcidians
Church described in Revelation three. Becauseyou say I am rich and increased with
goods, I have need of nothingand know not that you are wretched and
(12:28):
miserable, poor, blind and naked. So I don't know. Do we
feel like we are surrounded by selfrighteous people? I mean, have you
been on Facebook? I'm gonna goahead and mark this one for me as
well. I would say not onehundred percent. But when I get talking
(12:54):
about my opinions and stuff, asyou probably already know, dear Sinner,
I can get a little self righteous. The proud those who have lofty eyes
are those who are proud. Theylook down on others and they think pretty
highly of themselves. They do notlook to the needs or the concerns of
(13:18):
others, since they are only interestedin their own affairs. They will not
condescend to be entangled with others, and they are looking for their own advancement,
not their service to others. Idon't feel like I have a sense
of being overly proud. However Ido condescend to people. The oppressors,
(13:50):
those who devour the needy and thepoor are the violent oppressors. They exploit
others, and they target the helplessand the defenseless. They are cruel to
permanently set up and taking advantage ofothers and They do not care who they
destroy and what harm that causes,as long as they get their own ends.
(14:15):
Well, I mean that's sort ofeverywhere, isn't it. Like,
let's look at the court system,Let's look at the police, let's look
to the irs, let's look cancelculture on Instagram, Let's look everywhere.
The ends justify the means. It'severywhere. So how does your community and
(14:39):
culture rate against those descriptors? Doyou live among people who are independent and
rebellious and self righteous, proud oroppressive? What about you as a person
which one of those descriptions could bepinned on you? A good generation?
(15:00):
If the thing Solomon listed represented anevil generation, then we can invert them
to describe a good generation. Maybein doing this we will get a good
description of you and the society inwhich you live. The opposite of the
independent and rebellious, self righteous, proud, and oppressive would be the submissive,
(15:20):
the repentant, the humble, andthe generous. Now that's a pretty
good society in which to live, don't you think When you look at our
political leaders are popular heroes I meanP Diddy, business leaders, social influencers,
(15:43):
sports and entertainment stars, I mean, look at Vince McMahon for God's
sake, For God's sake, andpublic identities do they tend I mean,
do they tend to display qualities ofan evil generation or a godly generation?
Well, I don't want to spoilthe Vince McMahon's story, but if you're
(16:04):
running a train on a chick andyou stop to shit on her and then
you go take a shower and thenyou come back and finishing, finish having
sex with her, I don't thinkthat's submissive, repentant, humble, or
generous. I pray that you bea part of a godly generation and become
(16:29):
part of the process to transform yourcommunity into a blessed place to raise your
grandchildren. So, like I said, I've never read the Chrisfield blog dot
com before. It's very well written, well researched article here, So I
will include the link. If youguys want to kick it around in Chrisfield
(16:53):
blog dot com. I'm sure hewould. Uh, I appreciate Now he
does have a comment section, sobe nice to him, please. You
know, I know, I knowwe're all we're all repentant, and we're
all humble, and we're all submissiveand we're all generous, so be Yeah,
(17:22):
so now we're gonna be. Idon't know if the Sign of Jonah
episodes, which were recorded in twentyseventeen, it was around the last big
eclipse that we had. That's whywe were talking about the Sign of Jonah.
So we're just kind of building offof that so under But those episodes,
(17:42):
I believe there's two of them. They might be in the Red Archive
by now. He might have togo to the Subscribe Star and give me
a book to get to them ifthey're not. I mean that was like
the early days though, bro.So seven years later here we are talking
about understanding the significance of the Signof Jonah. This is by Frey burt
(18:03):
Ower. I don't know. Thiswas published just a couple of weeks ago,
February twentieth, twenty twenty four.Luke eleven twenty nine through thirty two.
While still more people gathered in thecrowd, Jesus said to them,
this generation is an evil generation, and it seeks a sign, but no
(18:27):
sign will be given it except theSign of Jonah. Just as Jonah became
a sign to the Niven Knights, those are the people that live in Nineveh
so will the son of Man beto this generation. At the judgment,
(18:48):
the Queen of the South will risewith the men of this generation, and
she will condemn them. I imaginehe's talking about the Queen, is she
because she came from the ends ofthe earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon,
And there is something greater than Solomonhere at the judgment of men of
(19:12):
the men of Nineveh will arise withthis generation and condemn it, because at
the preaching of Jonah they repent, and there is something greater than Jonah here.
So Jesus addresses. Now this isfrom medium dot com. By the
way, Jesus addresses the crowd, lamenting the lack of faith and the persistent
(19:36):
demand for signs from his generation. He compares his own ministry to the sign
of Jonah, emphasizing the importance ofrecognizing and responding to the divine presence in
their midst Jesus begins by denouncing theprevailing attitude of seeking signs characteristic of evil
(20:00):
generations. Despite witnessing his miracles thehearing his teachings, many still demand further
evidence of his authority. However,Jesus makes it clear that no additional sign
will be given except the sign ofJonah. The reference to Jonah holds profound
(20:22):
significance. Jonah, a reluctant prophet, was sent to the city of Nineveh
to call its people to repentance.Despite initially resisting his mission, Jonah eventually
obeyed and preached repentance, leading theNinavites conversion and God's mercy upon them.
(20:44):
Jesus likens himself to Jonah, indicatingthat his presence and message serve as a
sign calling for repentance. Moreover,Jesus points out that the queen of the
South traveled far to hear the wisdomof Solomon. Yet Jesus asserts that something
greater than Solomon is present among them, referring to himself. Similarly, the
(21:10):
Nivinites responded to Jonah's preaching with repentance, condemning Jesus's generation for failing to recognize
and respond to his greater authority andmessage. The passage presents a challenge for
us to reflect on our responses toJesus's presence and message. We are like
(21:34):
the Ninovites who promptly respond to Jonah'scall for repentance, or are we more
akin to the skeptics who demand fortheir signs. Jesus extends the invitation to
us, urging us to recognize hisauthority and heed his call to repentance.
(21:56):
The sign of Jonah serves as apoignant reminder of God's mercy, an imperative
of repentance. It beckons us toacknowledge the divine presence to our mythst and
respond with humility and obedience. Jesus'smessage, though delivered centuries ago, transcends
(22:19):
time and resonates with all generations, calling us back to God. We reconcile
with him as we navigate through lent. We are encouraged to ponder the significance
of the Sign of Jonah in ourown lives. Let us respond with faith,
(22:41):
embracing repentance and renewing our commitment tothe fellow Christ, and doing so,
acknowledge him as the ultimate sign ofGod's boundless love and mercy, guiding
us towards redemption and spiritual renewal.Amen. All right, So I think
(23:04):
that we need to back up alittle bit. I didn't really plan for
this, but I think that weneed to kind of summarize the story of
Jonah, specifically the story of Jonahin the Whale. Here, I don't
want you guys to have to goback and listen to these episodes if you
don't want to, so let mejust We're gonna just hammer this real quick
(23:25):
and then we're gonna finish up withthis with the this eclipse story. So
the story of Jonah in the Whale, this is from prey dot com,
is about a Hebrew prophet named Jonahwho God commands to travel to the great
city of Nineveh to preach recept repentanceto its inhabitants because of their wickedness.
(23:52):
Jonah instead refuses God's mission and triesto escape by boarding a ship traveling in
the opposite direction. So we're allfamiliar with the hero with a thousand faces.
So this is a classic, actuallya classic, and I mean to
the next level rejecting of the mission, right or rejecting the call. You
(24:19):
know. Not only does he refuseGod's mission, but he runs. During
his sea journey, a great stormappears and Jonah is thrown overboard and he
was swallowed by a fish or awhale, and he remains in the belly
of the fish for three days andthree nights until he asks God for forgiveness,
(24:40):
and Jonah is rescued and he completeshis mission in Nineveh with some reluctance.
So here we go. Jonah's adventurestarts when God commands Jonah son of
Iyamat to travel to the great cityof Nineveh and preach recept repentance of the
people Jonah one. However, Jonahdisagrees with God and he doesn't believe that
(25:03):
the Ninavites are worthy of salvation becauseNinevah was the capital city of one of
Israel's enemies, the Assyrian Empire. They were also very wicked at this time.
Jonah instead decides to disobey God andhe travels in the opposite direction to
Joppa, a seaport meet in Israel, where he boards a boat bound for
(25:29):
Tarnisiush. During his journey, aviolent storm threatens to captize the ship,
and sailors ask for help from theirown gods, but in the end they
discover that Jonah's actions had caused thestorm. So the storm God is like
pissing in the bathtub right now becauseJonah's running from him. In despair,
(25:53):
Jonah tells the sailors to toss himoverboard to save the ship. They initially
refuse lay or Fearing all is lost, the sailors toss Jonah overboard into the
wild sees. Then the ocean miraculouslybecomes calm and God rescues Jonah from drowning
by providing a huge fish to swallowJonah and Jonah was in the belly of
(26:17):
the fish for three days and threenights. While in the body of the
whale, Jonah prays to God andasks for forgiveness. Jonah two seven captures
Jonah's desperation. As my life wasslipping away, I remembered the Lord,
and my ernest prayer went out toYou and your holy temple. While in
(26:40):
the body of the great fish. The sea was angry that day, my
friends, It was like an oldman sending back soup at a deli.
Jonah laments being banished from God's sight. Being banished from God's sight represents what
happens to Christians who abandon or disobeyGod. This piece of scripture is shown
(27:00):
Jonah's humility and disobedience to Jesus, which helps him atone for his earlier refusal
to listen to God. God thencommands the whale to release Jonah onto dry
land. After his rescue, Jonahoffers a prayer of thanksgiving where he praises
God, ending with the prophetic statementsalvation comes from the Lord. Jonah two
(27:26):
through nine. Jonah then travels toNinovah and warns the city's inhabitants that they
must repent or risk having their citydestroyed in forty days. The king of
Ninevah heeds Jonah's warnings and immediately dawnsackcloth and ashes, instructing the Ninavites to
do the same. They follow suitand show repentance in God, and God
(27:49):
sees the repentance of the Ninavites andspares them from destruction. Jonah three ten.
What is the meaning of the storyof Jonah and the Whale? The
meaning of this story of Jonah inthe Whale becomes clear in the final sections
of the Book of Jonah. FromJonah four onward, we see that Jonah
is angry that God shows merci inNinova. Jonah is has completed his mission,
(28:15):
although with some misgivings. Jonah doesn'tbelieve the Ninavites deserve God's mercy.
He's a cancel culture guy. Jonahis here, God, Ninavites, you're
being problematic I'm just cracking up thinkingof like Jonah with like pink hair and
a skirt. God's closing message inthe Book of Jonah four to eleven is
(28:44):
and should I not have concern ofthe great city of Ninevah, in which
there are more than one hundred andtwenty thousand people who cannot tell their right
hand from their left, and alsoso many animals. Here God tells us
that we are all worthy of redemptionif we show repentance for our sins,
for God loves us all and willnot abandon us if we heed unto him.
(29:14):
This is a great place here todo this and catching on the other
side of the whale. Three daysand three nights from now, see ya.
(30:32):
Prophecy in your pocket? Dot com? Is that a gun in your
pocket? Or you happy to Isthat a prophecy in your pocket? Are
you happy to see me? Twosolar eclipses to cross over America. I'm
looking for a date on this.Okay, So this was right before the
(30:52):
last big eclipse that started the Signof Jonah episodes. Okay, seven years
years ago. There will be twototal solar eclipses in seven years that will
form a black cross over the UnitedStates of America. The first is on
August twenty first, twenty seventeen, next year. The second is seven years
(31:18):
later, on April eighth, twentytwenty four. The paths of these two
solar eclipses will intersect over southern Illinoisaround the city of Carbondale. On the
biblical calendar, the first eclipse onAugust twenty fourth, twenty seventeen, occurs
on one the day Jesus began hisforty day fast. So we're gonna we're
(31:45):
gonna hear about three days and we'regonna hear about forty days a lot here
at the back end of the showas we're getting into this eclipse in the
prophecy business. Okay, So here'sthe first instance where Jesus and his forty
day fast. The fast ended onYam Kapoor, the day of Atonement,
(32:06):
and this was the beginning of Jesus'sthree and a half year ministry for the
salvation of the world. Jesus washanded the Bible and read from Isaiah sixty
one point one. The spirit ofthe Lord is upon me to preach deliverance
to the captives, to set atliberty with them. They are bruised to
(32:29):
preach the accept the acceptable year ofthe Lord. These are the words said
on the day of Atonement at thestart of the jubilee, the year of
release of the people and debts. So that's the jubilee every I don't know,
seven years or whatever it is.The King would be like, okay,
(32:52):
all the debts are forgiven. Wecan all kind of start over.
I mean, that'd be fucking nice. One is talking to a lady about
I have a birthday coming up,might be passed already by the time I
post this, and she goes, you know, your fifty year birthday is
(33:14):
like a jubilee, like it shouldbe like a party, And I'm like,
no, you beliees aren't parties. You believe is just when your debt
is released, and you know myfifty year birthday is that, then I'm
ready for it. A lunar eclipseis a bad omen for Israel. I'm
(33:40):
just gonna unpack this a little bit. Israelil the Jewish calendar works on lunar
cycles, where you know, therest of Western civilization works on a solar
calendar. This is I'm not gonnaget too far. I mean, if
you've listened to the show you've mebabbel about this enough, so if not,
(34:01):
go listen to some back episodes andwe'll get you back on track.
A solar eclipse is a bad signfor the nations of the world. Since
the United States is the greatest nation, we should put a little asterisk next
to that. This was only writtenseven years ago. Look what's happened to
us since then. This may bea foreboding sign. As these eclipses form
(34:25):
the cross near the population center ofAmerica. The eclipse in twenty seventeen bisects
the country in half, going eastto west, starting in Oregon and traveling
the length of the land to SouthCarolina. The eclipse in twenty twenty four
is going to travel from south tonorth, from Texas through all the way
(34:49):
through to Maine. Therefore, thepaths of the two black eclipses literally intersect
near the city of Carbondale, Illinois. A personal note, I've read a
book book by R. Buckminster Fuller, Utopia or Oblivion. He was the
inventor of the geodesic dome and aprofessor at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.
(35:15):
In the sixties and the last timea total solar eclipse crossed America was one
hundred years ago in nineteen eighteen,at the end of World War One.
The end of World War One sawthe breakup of the four hundred year Ottoman
Empire ruled over Jerusalem and release ofIsrael into the control of the British General
(35:39):
Allen b entered Jerusalem on foot withouta shot. In twenty eighteen, the
nation of Israel will be seventy yearsold, and also about six thousand years
since Adam in the creation of theworld. Okay, all right, you're
one of those guys. We areheaded for troubling time. This the Bible
(36:01):
predicts a future seven years of tribulation. The solar eclipses years twenty seventeen to
twenty twenty four may just be awarning shadow of what is yet to come.
What are we to do? Imean, this is wild, right,
(36:25):
judgment to the nations of the worldis coming as sure as science is
predicting the two eclipses of the Sun. We should repent and be ready for
the day of the Lord. Astronomerspredicted that this will be the most viewed
eclipse ever, for it is insummer and easily accessible for millions of people.
(36:49):
It may also be a double warning, as too many will view it
that the creator of the Sun andthe Moon, the stars is planning his
second visit to his planet Earth, dating the past until the twenty seventeen Total
Solar Eclipse. Five hundred years fifteenseventeen. Luther and the Protestant Reformation,
(37:12):
Automan Empire rule over Jerusalem. Hey, not to beat a dead fucking horse,
but if you go back to alot of our old episodes, we
talk a lot about the Automan Empire, the Red Sultan and all that stuff.
Those that might actually be on thefucking Red Archive. Two one hundred
and twenty years eighteen ninety seven.Herzi and the First Zionist Convention for Israel
(37:37):
one hundred years nineteen seventeen. BritishBalfour Declaration favoring a Jewish state. One
of these days, I'm going todo a conspiracy theory breakdown and we're going
to talk about the Balfour Declaration.I'm going to talk about it real hard.
Seventy years nineteen forty seven in theUnited States, Well, the United
(38:00):
Nations establishes the state of Israel, the geographical fucking state of Israel. Fifty
years nineteen sixty seven, Jerusalem underJewish Israeli control. The Jewish Messiah yah
yashuwa Ha Mintch, better known asa Jesus Christ, will be returning shortly
(38:22):
to take possession of his purchased realestate, the planet Earth. Ruling from
Jerusalem. It was written by aguy named Robert Lyons, San Diego,
California, February ninth, twenty sixteen. Very good, Very good. Okay,
(38:43):
So that was about both of theeclipse, both of the eclipses separated
by seventeen years. I remember thelast eclipse in twenty seventeen. I remember
what I was doing. I wasactually sleeping in a car parking lot,
and I woke up and I kickedthe seat up, so I'm like sitting
(39:04):
in an upright position, and allthese people were standing around my car staring
up at the sky, and Iwas like, oh, yeah, today
is the day of that fucking thing. Don't ask me why I was sleeping
in a car. Don't ask mewhy I was sleeping in a car in
a parking lot. Don't ask mewhy I was sleeping in a car in
a parking lot surrounded by a bunchof people. It looked like something out
(39:28):
of a zombie movie at first, and then it looked like something out of
like I don't know, John CarpenterFlick, Like, uh, what was
it? The Lord of Darkness,That's what it was. That's one where
Alice Cooper was like the zombie Kingfor like three seconds in the movie.
(39:49):
It was such a big goddamn deal. All Right, we're moving on.
We gotta move on. April eighthEclipse and the third Day events in scripture.
This is from Gin whoa almost hada Freudian slip there. This is
(40:13):
from Bible journal classes dot com. It's called April eighth Eclipse and fifteen Third
Day Events in Scripture. So thisobviously we're gonna discover this together together.
But there are many events that happenon the third day of whatever, whatever
(40:39):
the story is going on. Thereare events that happened just on the third
day, the one that pops upin my brain, but the third day
of creation, the one that otherone that pops up in my brain is
you know, Jesus returning after thethird day. He was dead for three
days. So this is which isthe like an astrothela logical story. We'll
(41:06):
get to it. Jonah, hewas in the whale for three days.
Okay, so we get it.The total solar eclipse on April eighth,
twenty twenty four has captured worldwide attention. This rare celestial event, visible across
North and Central America, has sparkedexcuse me excitement among astronomy enthusiasts, educators,
(41:31):
and the general public. Conspiracy theorist, Bible nuts and podcasters. Social
media news outlets and scientific websites area buzz with information, predictions, and
viewing tips for the upcoming spectacle. The eclipse has drawn comparisons to the Biblical
(41:52):
story of Jonah, who spent threedays in the belly of a whale before
being released in ninev Interestingly, theeclipse's path of totality is set to cross
over seven cities named Nineveh across theUnited States, sparking discussions about potential biblical
(42:14):
connections and prophecies. While interpretations vary, the coincidence has added an intriguing layer
to the fascinating astronomical event. Foras Jonah was three days and three nights
in the wales belly, so alsothe Son of Man be three days and
three nights in the heart of theEarth. Matthew twelve forty and Jesus rose
(42:42):
from the dead on the third dayafter his death, and God raised him
from the dead on the third day, Acts ten forty. Signs in the
sky mentioned this on multiple occasions.Genesis one four teen fifteen speaks to us
of the celestial bodies the sun,the moon, the stars created by God
(43:07):
two specifically to serve as signs markingtime and seasons. We witness phenomena like
eclipses, whether solar or lunar,or observe the alignments of planets and constellations,
we are reminded of a deeper andspiritual significance. These celestial events act
(43:29):
as memorials, calling to mind thesacred covenant established by God with Abraham.
Jesus embodies the covenant, serving asa living testament to God's faithfulness. So
besides Jonah, besides a Jesus risingon the third day, more so,
(43:51):
like Moses is or Jonah is sortof like a proto Christ in this in
this case, like he goes inthe way of three days and three nights,
where Jesus will uh die and getentombed in death for three days and
three nights. I spent a lotof time looking at these proto Christ's events,
(44:16):
these proto Christ episodes in the Bibleand in Jewish folklore, Jewish mythology.
You know, obviously we're working ourway through Exodus, or we were
working our way through Exodus using legendof the Jews in my trusty red letter.
(44:36):
But we've tied. I I havetied these proto Christ sort of episodes,
like like Enoch transcending to heaven andbecoming in you know the quote the
most powerful archangel uh name, hisname's Metatron read one of my books,
(44:58):
just read, uh like Moses wouldbe like a proto Christ sort of sort
of story. So they just happenedover and over and over and over again.
So I don't know, you knowwhy I'm talking about this, but
it's kind of like built into howGod's system works somehow, you know,
(45:23):
Mike, the archangel Michael might alsobe a proto Christ. There's actually like
faiths of people that believe that Jesuswas actually Michael turned into a turned into
a human being. And I'm like, on some level, you know,
(45:43):
that's depressing because if Michael was likepressed into flesh or like wrapped into his
human meat robot, you would thinkthey would do some bad ass fucking shit.
Not that dying and coming back, dying for the sins of all humanity
(46:05):
past, president and future, andreturning and then transmutating and then creating a
religion that seems like it's based oncannibalism. I mean, isn't bad,
Like it's that's pretty bad. Okay. I gotta hold on. I gotta
break contact and get back to this. I'm spinning out of control wildly.
(46:30):
More Third Day patterns a Bible patternoccurs when a spiritual truth stated in one
part of the Bible is repeated similarlyand yet another portion of the Bible.
Examine the third day patterns. Thefirst two days don't tell the whole story,
but the third day is the conclusion. It's just like writing a screenplay.
(46:53):
I'm having too much fun. Thethird day, the earth brought forth
a vegetation in seed, bearing plantsof every kind, in trees of every
kind bearing fruit Genesis one twelve. And on the third day, Abraham looked
up and saw the place Mount Moriahfrom Afar, and he intends to offer
(47:15):
his son Isaac as a burnt offeringto God. Yet he assures his companion,
we will worship and return Genesis twentytwo four through five. On the
third day, Pharaoh releases his chiefcupbearer from death row Genesis forty twenty to
twenty one. All these twenty allthese Genesis episodes, you could go back
(47:37):
to our whole section about Genesis andmaybe get some information about them. That's
interesting that they make a reference toPharaoh's cup bearer, not even his cupbearer,
just his chief of his cup bearers. On the third day, Joseph
releases his brothers from prison in EgyptGenesis forty two seventeen eighteen. On the
(47:58):
third day, the Israelites request firespermission to make a three day journey to
offer sacrifice in the desert to God. Exodus three eighteen. I'm working my
way, as I mentioned through theExodus episode, so I actually owe you
guys. A couple of them wereway behind. On the third day,
(48:20):
Plague nine the plague of darkness andEgypt ends through. The Israelites enjoyed light
in their dwellings Exodus ten twenty two. On the third day, God descends
them mount Sinai in fire that soundsof a show far and then he reveals
the ten words Israel's constitution a newlife as a nation in their resurrection from
(48:46):
the death of their slavery in Egypt. Exodus nineteen sixteen through nineteen. On
the third day is reel lightes orto purify themselves with water after being in
contact with the dead. Numbers nineteentwelve. I love it. I love
(49:06):
it. It all comes, dude, it's amazing. It's amazing. So
we just did two episodes about thered heifer, and that's what they're talking
about. Numbers nineteen is all aboutthe red Heifer. On the third day,
after coming to the river and preparingthemselves, the Israelites crossed the Jordan
to enter and possess the end ofthe Lord, their God giving to them
(49:30):
as a possession. That's Joshua oneeleven and three two. On the third
day, Joshua's spies emerged from hidingin the Jericho Whites and then returned to
their commanda Joshua to sixteen and twentytwo. This is obviously the Walls of
Jericho, which I was reminded atthe very beginning of this list when they
(49:52):
were talking about the show far that'show God knocked the walls of Jericho down
is with a ram horn. ActuallyI did a it's a grat It's a
comic book anyway, never mind.On the third day, the famine during
David's reign ends to Samuel twenty one. On the third day, a famine
(50:14):
called for by Elijah the Prophet endsfirst Kings eighteen. On the third day,
after asking God for release, KingHezekiah is healed of his fatal disease
and offers thanks in the temple toKings twenty. On the third day,
Jonah is expelled from the fish bellyJonah one seventeen two one Hebrews Matthew twelve
(50:37):
forty sixtyh blah blah, blah, onwards and onwards. On the third day,
after fasting Esther puts on a royalapparel and enters the place of the
Persian king to the wart a deathplot against her people. The Jews ester
four sixteen five to one. Thesignificance of the number forty in Biblical narratives,
(50:59):
the number forty holds a significant symbolicimportance throughout the Bible, often representing
periods of testing, trial judgment. This number appears in various contexts, such
as forty days and forty nights ofrain during the flood and the time of
Noah forty years in Israelites wander thedesert. Jesus did forty days of fasting
(51:23):
and temptation in the wilderness. Thefull moon on two twenty four started a
forty day countdown to the solar eclipseon four eight, twenty twenty four Jesus
in biblical holidays. As we reflecton the incredible significance of Third Day events
(51:50):
in the Bible and upcoming April eighth, twenty twenty four solar eclipse, it
is clear that God's time. Whenwe do these Old Testament episodes with the
legends of the Jews. In myTrustee read letter, something that I always
bring up in the stories is Godflexing his muscles as like the God of
(52:12):
time, like he's always seeing ahead, he's always seeing backwards, sees it
obviously not in a linear fashion. He sees it all at the same time.
So it's interesting that you know thatthey're talking about this in this sort
in this sort of way, likethe dates, the dates, the dates,
(52:36):
as where was I It's clear thatGod's timing and divine plan are woven
throughout history. If you'd like todive deeper into the rich connections between Jesus
Christ and the Biblical holidays. Oh, this is just a advertisement for this
guy's book, Jesus in the BiblicalHolidays. Go check out his book.
(52:58):
It actually sounds really interesting. Ishould look at it. Maybe I could
get this guy. I don't dointerviews anymore. What am I talking about?
I really got a I really gottascramble. No, not really,
okay. So Jonah eclipse. Thearchaeological scholar David Wiseman has presented evidence from
(53:24):
archaeological findings that solar that a solareclipse indeed took place over nine of us.
So this is this is going backto the Jonah, the Jonah's eclipse
in Nineva. It's interesting because Idon't think the Bible mentions that it was
an eclipse. It's all just implied. And this is this guy saying,
(53:46):
Hey, there's an archaeological scholar whois like, yeah, I mean,
it's right here, let's talk aboutit. Indeed took place over Ninevah,
the capital of the Syrian Empire. This event coincided with Jonah's warning about Ninevah,
urging its inhabitants to repent lest thecity be destroyed. And you know
(54:08):
forty days. The occurrence of thiseclipse served as a powerful sign that led
the people of Nineveh to believe Jonah'smessage and subsequently they should repent. Ther
Sigali eclipse, which occurred over theAssyrian capital of Ninevah, coincided with the
reign of Jurboam the Second, ruledIsrael from seven eighty six to seven forty
(54:35):
six BC. According to according toTwo Second Kings fourteen twenty five, the
prophet Jonah lived and prophesized during Jerboam'sreign. Biblical scholar Donald Wiseman has suggested
that this eclipse may have taken placearound the time of Jonah's arrival in Nineveh,
where he urged the people to repentto avoid the city's destruction. This
(55:01):
theory could explain the dramatic repentance ofthe Ninavites described in the Book of Jonah.
Yeah, I remember, it's likehe's Jonah showed up and started talking,
and they're like, Oh my God, where's my ash, where's my
sackcloths? Like I got a fucka repent right now. It's because the
fucking eclipse was going on. It'sscared the shit out of these pagan motherfuckers.
(55:25):
The ancient cultures, including the Assyrians, interpreted eclipses as omens of impending
doom. The Assyrian Empire was inturmoil during this period, grappling with revolts
and famine, and the two separateoutbreaks of plague, which may have heightened
the impact of the eclipse and thepopulace. All right, I'm John Towers
(55:57):
and this has been the Abercast.I think, I think, I think
I have enough stuff. We mightbe doing another eclipse episode. So if
you liked it, stay tuned. If not, maybe it'll be something else.
I don't know, but there willalways be another show coming down the
pipeline. Like I said, I'mdoctor John Towers. This is the Abercast.
And you know, now is areally good time to buy some extra
(56:25):
bullets, buy some extra band aids, and buy some extra beans. You
know, we thought we in thisepisode we were talking about how much the
world has changed, how much Americahas changed, how much your city has
changed in the last seven years.I mean, look around, we're like
living in a hell hole. Itmight be. You know, I'm not
(56:53):
getting paid by survival food people.I don't buy survival food stuff. I
do my own stuff. Here.Uh, I don't know. Maybe I
should talk more about that. Idon't know anyhow, I'm John. This
is the Evercast. Uh, staytuned, be careful and fucking happy Easter.
(57:16):
Everybody Happy Easter. You know, now might be a good time to
go back and listen to my Eastersermon from COVID. I really should play
that on Sunday. Maybe I'll wrapthat up and play in on Sunday.
I gotta go. I'm talking tomyself and you just happen to be right
