Main idea: Trusting in God requires full faith and surety. 


We must serve where we are (39:1-6).


We must suffer with faithful expectation (39:21-23).


We must rely on God and give him the praise (41:15-16).


Our faithfulness will bless both ourselves and others (45:4-8).

James 3:1-12

Main idea: An uncontrolled tongue is harmful.

Are you mature enough to teach (3:1-2)?

Is your tongue controlled or uncontrolled (3:3-12)?
- A controlled tongue is useful (3:3-4). 
- An uncontrolled tongue is destructive (3:5-6). 
- The tongue is uncontrollable for any man (3:7-8). 
- Be single-minded in your worship and practice (3:9-12).

Favoritism does not reflect the love of God (2:1-4).
