Main idea: God created you in his likeness, for his glory.

Indicatives & Imperatives
Ephesians 1:1-6:24

Main idea: We live in grateful obedience for what God has done. 

Indicatives declare what God has done for us (Ex. 20:1–2, Ps. 105:1–44, Eph. 1:1–13; 2:4–10, 13; 3:14–21). 

Imperatives command how we should live in response (Ex. 20:3-17, Ps. 105:45, Eph. 4:1–3, 17, 25; 5:1–2, 6–7, 15–17; 6:10-20).

Godly Character: Forgiving Offenders
Genesis 42:1-45:15

Main idea: Forgiveness reflects the character of God. 

We are all in a unique position to show someone forgiveness (42:1-26). 

It is impossible to truly forgive someone you do not love (45:4–8).
