(00:00):
Allison and marketing afternoon. Everybody's talkingabout that Janet Jackson documentary, and so,
you know, babe, I realizedthat I, you know, I
too, grew up on Jackson Street, twenty one to forty East Jackson Street.
Oh yes, of course, areference to the famous Jackson family.
I think they're what are they twentythree hundred Jackson Street, different city,

(00:21):
same Midwest, and I guess thislast name is that Jackson is not the
same. But right, just thoughtI had that observation. I thought i'd
share that with you, babe.Well, so people are talking about this
Janet Jackson two part documentary. Itwas a four part document okay, yes,
like two and two. It wasvery confusing. It was like the
first night was to second night wasthree and four. So I don't know,

(00:43):
I don't know. We got tomake sure we saw the whole thing
because for me, it was riveting. It was a look into a really
private person and an even private family. Sort of pulled the veil back a
little bit, the curtain back, and I thought it was really well done.
I thought it was great. Ithought that it showed some of her
warts, you know, when she'sin the studio with Jimmy jam and Terry

(01:04):
Lewis. How you know, itwasn't all like, oh my god,
this is Kumbaya with these great albumsand all this that, you know.
No, she walked out a coupleof times and and all of that,
you know, And no, itwasn't all peaches and greening between her and
a big brother, Michael, Andso yeah, I really enjoyed it.

(01:25):
But you know, I consider myselfa super fan like my brother. I
know, we always talk about likewho's bigger family or my brother is like
a super duper fan. I'm asuper fan. And Ris knows I'm a
fan of the Jackson's period and Michael. So for me, it was it
was probably how like some people feelwith the Beatles documentary or the Beatles now

(01:49):
and i'max there just to see,you know, we feel like a little
we got a little bit of herand you know what, and she did
she did she she willingly gave thatpiece up. I was listening to Donnie
Simpson, who is an icon ofliving. I was as I was listening
to Donnie, and why is Donnieand I kind of living? Because Donnie
has been to the Jackson's home andtalked to mom, uh you know,

(02:12):
and talk to yeah, and sohe was saying that. Uh. Jimmy
Jam called him before before it wason, and here's we gotta love about
Janet. Janet called him and said, is it okay if I put that
in? So she so she putherself, you know, didn't show her
necessarily the best life, showed herbeing human being, but the fact that

(02:36):
she, you know, probably ourimage of the Jackson's and she would want
that out. No, she contactsJimmy Jam and says it is okay,
and he said, sure, literaland that's awesome. Talks about her marriages
didn't really go into the last marriagea lot. Yeah, that was the
way everybody asked questions about the lastmarriage a lot. But you know,
it's still her her business. Itis her business. Damn. We don't

(02:57):
need to know everything. We thinkwe know, you know, who knows
what she went through. It probablyknows how painful it was, who knows
whatever. So anyway, and ababy's involved, and the baby's involved,
and they come to find out anotherbaby was not involved, right that we
always speculated that she had to didn'ttalk about it. They said the secret.
Oh so maybe we did miss somethingbecause I heard them talking about them

(03:19):
saying she addressed the baby thing,it's really good. If you haven't seen
it, I asked you to likecheck it out. Let's celebrate the We'll
celebrate people like Jane and Jackson quietlytrend setting, uh, you know,
music and fashion and a whole waveof new artists. So I really enjoyed
to check it out. Of payand Candida, she was She did say

(03:40):
about the Michael allegation that I knowmy brother. He didn't do it.
I know my brother. That wasinteresting, I thought
