His meteoric rise is something you'd expect from Hollywood. Boy from Lubbock, TX, goes to Texas Tech near where he grew up. Makes it to the big leagues and explodes onto the scene. His reward? He becomes the team's closer in his second year in the big leagues. He has huge success and in his third year makes the All Star team.
The end, right? WRONG!
Our hero then struggles with injuries, tries to make it back to the big leagues but his body doesn't cooperate.
