we've seen bar dominiums blow up custom homes, commercial remodels,
and steal buildings out there too. Based out of Sealy, Texas.
Out there, it's done correcting with perspective. Give Brenda call
seven one, three, eight nine zero twenty fifty one and
(01:01):
our friends at the caadengordonshow dot com Today's best Country Mix.
We'll time the dance a little bit here on the
backstage pass. We mentioned we caught up with her during
CMA Week and now she's putting out a brand new record.
We can't wait for that. Billy Joe Jones, Texas country Artists.
How you doing, my friend?
Speaker 3 (01:15):
I'm doing amazing? How are you?
Speaker 2 (01:18):
I love it because we get to connect. And just
four weeks after this, Scott goes She's got a new single.
It's coming out June twenty seven. Get her in. I'm like, well,
we'll definitely put a show on the books here too,
So let's dive into this one too. You and I
got to talk a little bit at CMA Week there
at the Music City Center, have a good little fun
and good times there too. But I love it because
while you got to be so cowboy, we're gonna play
(01:39):
here on the show today. This is awesome. This really
fits you, fits your sound, tremendous songwriting, and this had
to be a fun project to work on, right, Oh yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
It was so fun.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
I mean, we released the song last year on my
my first ever country album that we put out called
Some Girls Don't Cry, and everyone loved it, and we
my label had an idea. They're like, what if we
take why you Gotta Be So Cowboy and make it
into a dance remix?
Speaker 3 (02:02):
And I was like, I was like, what do you mean.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
He's like, well, you know kind of how Miranda Lambert
took Oh gosh, Tequila, she don't love Me like Tequila
does that song and she did like a little dance
remix thing to that, and I was like, oh, okay,
that'd be kind of cool.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
So we took it.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
You know.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Kent Wells is my producer there in Nashville, and they
worked their magic on it, added in some banjo and
some cool bass stuff they got going on, and now
it's a new dance remix for all the clubs and
dance halls around.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
So excited.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
I love it too. You've been playing a lot of
shows in Texas. Talk about just the touring, and of
course you mention you got a little bit of downtime now,
but always keeping busy behind a microphone and up there
on stage. You love this so much. You've poured your
heart and soul into this. You've been doing this for
a long time. I love the story because right there
for Texas country too, and it's hot right now. There's
so many great artists doing their thing out there too,
across both male and female. But you love being on
(02:53):
stage and just playing in front of a crowd. Talk
about that for the fans.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
I do. I do love being on stage.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
And it doesn't matter if I have, you know, twenty
people show up to my show, or if I'm seeing
the nash Lanthem in front of forty thousand people or
playing in front of seven thousand people, You're still going
to get the real, authentic me.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
No matter what.
Speaker 5 (03:12):
I love.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
I love performing.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
I don't care how many people there as long as
y'all are there to you know, everyone's there to have
a good time. I'm gonna put on a great show.
So I love being on stage. It's kind of like
I turn into a different person because you know, you
know me, Brandon, you know how I'm kind of I'm
honestly a little quiet ish unless you're joking around, and
I'm kind of, you know, dish it out there to
you like we always do. But I'm usually pretty much
(03:35):
a quiet person, and then when I get on stage,
I kind of turned into a totally different person.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
I turned into my performing side.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
As soon as those lights hit, they hand me a microphone,
I go out on stage, I'm zoned in and I'm
ready to go. So I love being out there and
pouring my heart and soul into every song that I sing.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
Oh, you definitely do that to She poored her heart
and soul on this one. The label stick and we
make this a dance remix. She goes, yeah, I think
this is a great idea. What you got to be?
So Cowboy BILLI Joe Jalones here the backstage past KYBN

I knew you guys would like that right there too.
Dance remix, Well you got to be so Cowboy. Texas
country artists Billy Joe Jones back here, presented by the
Kadangordonshow dot com. Today's best Country Mix and our friends
at BnB Construction Services all those great barn dominiums, custom homes,
commercial remodels and steel buildings based out of Sealy seven one, three,
eight nine, zero, twenty five fifty one. Give them a call.
It's done correct and with respect, and Brent will take
(10:51):
care of you. A lot of great projects out there too.
You know we mentioned that one, But I'm gonna go
back to the album you put out there. I love
it so much. Some Girls Don't Cry. Talk about just
some of the highlights for the kickoff of that track,
Billy because I love it so much, and the Tequila song,
Gonna plays tequila or You're drinking there too a little bit?
But somebody great just Texas country, feel good dancehall songs
on that record right.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
There are There's so many just great songs we've had.
I mean, obviously we've already we had three hits off
of that album. We probably could have had a few more,
but we got excited and started releasing music off the
off the new album. But we had three consecutive number
ones off that album. You know, started out with right
Now kind of Girl, Some Girls Don't Cry, and then
Who's Tequila?
Speaker 3 (11:32):
Aria Drinking.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
Who's Tequila Aria Drinking also wound up being my first
ever number one Amazon bestseller, which was just freaking insane.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
It was incredible. I've had a really cool plaque on
the wall somewhere for that song, and so it's I
don't know that.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
That whole album is just awesome, and I kind of
wish that we could release some more songs off there
because one of my favorites that didn't go to radio
that you know, I've ever written was Can't Take Keith Whitley.
That's one of my favorite songs. So maybe we'll get
that one out at some point. But we've kind of
moved on to this next album that we've been working
hard on and it'll be coming out this fall, so
(12:11):
I'm super excited for it.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
It's called Turquoise and Silver.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
That's a great title for a song too, And I
got to ask you about the writing behind this one too,
because any time you get turquoise and Silver put together,
there's got to be a good story behind this, right.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
Oh, there's a great story behind it. Actually got to
sit down with Lynn Snow and then Morgan Lee powers Is.
She's absolutely incredible songwriter, and so we've written a couple
of songs together, and this one she kind of she
already had a little bit. She had this really cool
guitar intro thing she was doing, and we were like, yeah,
we're digging that.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
So we started writing it, and.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
Gosh, I don't want to give away too much, but like,
just the first line of the song I think is
like it it's gonna hook people in. It's like that
Huckleberry honey Bee things it is in love with me.
That's pretty much the first line of the song. So
I don't want to give away too much, but I
just think it's cool that hook very honey Bee thinks
that he's in love with me. I don't know, it's
just something you don't hear. It's gonna be a little
(13:04):
bit different than some of my other songs. And as
soon as we wrote it, we're like, this is the
title of the album.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
Like it has to the title album.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
I love it so much. How you mentioned one of
your favorites there in one of mine. A lot of
people out there too, right now, kind of girl, I
got to get the backstory of this one too, because
all those great songs you put out there too, but
this one really had that nineties. Feel like you said,
slow dance, get your lady on the dance floor, or
like I said, for ladies out there and get your
guy on the dance floor and enjoy it so much
because this again just your poured your heart and soul
into this tune, and man, you took it from start
(13:34):
to finish. It was an awesome roller coaster ride.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
Yeah, right now, I kind of Girl is one of
those songs that I didn't write it, but whenever my
label showed me. Lynd Snow actually wrote that song with
Ryan Brisher, And as soon as I heard the song,
I was like, oh my goodness, gracious, this is me.
And he knew it because he's already been working with me,
so he's like he knows my impatient side that I
(13:59):
have and how I want things right now.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
I don't want to wait around. I'm not gonna wait around,
you know.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
And so as soon as I heard that song, I
was like, yep, that that is me to a t
so right now, kind of Girl happened, and it just
it turned into a really fun.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
Song that you know, all the ladies love it too,
so it's a good one, all right.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
So I got to ask you about this one, because
being from Texas, you know, we're always about rednecks down
here too. And when you get a couple of beer
bottles that cross over, make an X on a picture
of over a single that comes out called Redneck, and
tell everybody about this one, and I'd love for them
to go listen to it, no doubt.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
Oh good lord, that is that's old. That is some
old billy Joe music for sure. Redneck In is a
song that Tammy Marler and I wrote because we're both
from a really small town called Emory, Texas, and you know,
there's just a bunch of U. There's just a bunch
of rednecks around here, and so we came up with
this idea that you know, I prefer redneck and blue
jean wearing country boy kind of laugh.
Speaker 11 (14:52):
You know.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
It's just it's just one of those redneck and you know,
just a little redneck song, I guess.
Speaker 3 (14:57):
But yeah, that's old. That is some old You're digging
deep into some little music there.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
It goes to show you we do the whole work
here of the program. And how long I've been.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
Listening to exactly, I can go back a little bit.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
More because if I remember this one. We may have
talked about this one may not, but I love this
because it makes life in particular just seem very real
and how simple it is because we don't need all
these material things. And when I hear you sing the song,
it really brings the important things in our life of family, faith, God,
things like that. Simpler way of life. Tell everybody about
this one, because I'm going way back now, right, you
are so way back?
Speaker 1 (15:28):
Yeah, Simpler way of Life is gosh. That's one of
my favorite songs that have ever written with Tammy Marler.
I need to start playing that again actually, because we
just have so much new music that I want to
play that I forget about the old stuff.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
But some of this old stuff is gold.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
And this song is one of those songs where you
can just sit on your back porch and like for me,
I live in the country, so I've got a bunch
of cows and stuff around me, and I sit on
the back porch and I can listen to this song
and listen to the crickets and just how peaceful it is.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
That's that's kind of what I wanted to bring to people,
is bring some peace.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
And for people to kind of stop and slow down
and really think about, you know, what they do have
in their life and what they should be thankful for.
So I think it's a pretty pretty good song.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
Well, I know you love tequila songs, and we definitely
got to push this up. Turn the volume up just
a little bit here on the backstage pass, which is
good out there too. Who's tequila are you drinking? You
tell us when we come back from this break. Kay
YBN ninety eight point one, your Bay Area Broadcasting Network
and our friends, iHeartRadio podcast, the Sports Guys Podcast dot Com,
Billy Joe Jones, stay tuned.
Speaker 6 (16:34):
Yeah it's Harsey after all this time, these the ghouls
really make this playing. I come in here to stay bomb.
(16:55):
Then in the way you leave in me makes me think.
Speaker 7 (17:03):
Who's the king? You drink?
Speaker 6 (17:06):
And you never drank that stuff before? Live here was
all you could handle.
Speaker 7 (17:13):
You hold, not drink like agin. She's here and that
the curer holding n what tell he?
Speaker 6 (17:25):
Well, I'll think it tell me it's the key get drinking.
I called the just for this acquisition. I didn't mean
(17:48):
to put you in this position, but I'm sure unless
here first and just.
Speaker 7 (17:56):
When I couldn't be loosh, I see you here, and
just like that arcade take mine? I name lines.
Speaker 6 (18:07):
Who's the Keela you drinking? And you never drink that stuff?
But Lackyer, who's all you can handle? Who you holding
that drink?
Speaker 4 (18:18):
For me?
Speaker 7 (18:20):
She's here? And that the girden he all, what the thinking?
Tell me? Tequila? You drink me? See?
Speaker 6 (18:36):
I come in here to lose my grip on de reason.
Speaker 7 (18:41):
Time belong with her, belong of me?
Speaker 6 (18:45):
Like tequila song, who's the Keela you drinking?
Speaker 7 (18:53):
And you never drink that stuff before?
Speaker 6 (18:56):
Lackyer? Who's all you can handle? Who you hold in
that dream pool? Black Shady? I thank you?
Speaker 7 (19:13):
Tell me to quila dream used to dream?
Speaker 9 (19:48):

Speaker 9 (21:08):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
While you got to Be So Cowboy the latest single
out there and getting ready for the full length album
Turquoise and Silver coming up this fall, and that's a
good reason to have you back to play some of
those new cuts off of this record here. You know
you mentioned you had fun with all your songs. Everything
especially every has its own, you know, similar meaning and
feel to it. But this was really cool because this
was another well storied toll for Who's tequila are you drinking?
(21:31):
I love this.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
Yeah, Who's Tequila Are You Drinking?
Speaker 1 (21:35):
Is a song that's just one of those kind of little,
little sassy songs I think, because it's it's pretty much
talking about how she's, you know, catching her man cheating
on her, and and so it's she kind of walks
up and she's like, you know, before I tell you
what I think, and before I tell you what I'm thinking,
I want to know who's tequila are you drinking?
Speaker 3 (21:53):
Because she knew that, you know, he only drank like
michaelob Ultra or whatever, you know.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
And so I just think it's one of those, you know,
cutesye sassy songs that still kind of gets the point across.
And you know, everyone loves to two step to that song,
so it's a real good two stepper.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
Now you were Keith Whitley fan growing up, right, Oh
for sure? Huge reason I bring it up, And she
says she puts on the record out there too from it.
Some girls don't cry. I love it out there. Can't
take can't take Keith Whitley tonight. Tell us all about
this one.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
Yeah, I can't take Keith Whitley Tonight is one of
those songs that I had an idea for this song.
I just I kept saying over and over and over again,
I just can't take Keith Whitley tonight. I just can't
take Keith Whitley to Iause. Sometimes you just have those
moments where you don't want to hear another one of
those love songs Keith. We don't want to hear that
right now, and or any of those heartbreaking songs you
know that he wrote. And so I took it to
(22:43):
my label and I showed Lynn and I said, hey,
I have an idea for a song. It's kind of weird,
and I told him and he's like, yeah, that's kind
of weird, but I think we can do something with it.
So we started putting in a bunch of you know,
the titles of his songs and stuff throughout this song,
and it just it's turned into or it's just a
really great song. And I think a lot of people
out there really love it too. Even though we you know,
didn't take it to radio, people are still finding it,
(23:04):
you know, on social media and Facebook and Spotify and
Apple Music and all that good stuff.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
So all that good jazz out there too, wherever you
download a stream music out there, all these songs all right,
Something's broke, And I cutry song out there too that
I've never heard that says something's not giving away Earn Broke,
lost the Dog, lost the truck, something like that. But
this one fit right up there too, with that typical
country song that I like so much. Something's broke.
Speaker 3 (23:28):
Yeah, Something's broke is Uh.
Speaker 1 (23:31):
It's one of those songs where you kind of I
feel like for me, I didn't write it, but whenever
I heard it, it's one of those that I've you know,
I've lived, I've been there where you can't really tell
what it is, but there's just something missing. There's there
is just something something is broke in the relationship, and
you've kind of just been hanging in there and hanging
(23:52):
in there and hanging in there, and you don't know
why you're still just hanging in there. That's kind of
you know, where I where I came from that and
where people have you heard the song and they're like, yeah,
this makes a lot more sense, because you know, sometimes
in relationships, everything can be fine or look great on
the outside, but people don't really know what's going on
behind closed doors.
Speaker 3 (24:12):
So it's just one of those songs that kind of
makes you think a little bit.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
That sure does. All giving the low down on this,
I love the fact is you mentioned something about it.
If we talked about this too, a television show coming
up real soon. I want to know all about this
because there may be some listeners out there and for
a good part, especially in the Banian area out there
at KYBN, they may not know what's going on with
Billy Joe Jones and television tell us all about it.
Speaker 3 (24:34):
Yeah, I'm so excited.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
I finally got to announce that I am one of
the twelve finalists for the new TV show that is
coming out this fall.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
It's going to be on CBS and Paramount Plus.
Speaker 1 (24:45):
It is a Taylor Sheridan show, which, as you know,
anything that Taylor Shardan touches turns to gold. So I
expect nothing but amazing things from this show. But I'm
one of the twelve finalists on there. We actually got
to go and film this whole TV show and we
got to go open for Keith Urban and Keith Urban's
crowd would vote who made it on to the next
(25:06):
round type thing.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
So it's a singing TV show, but it's more of
like a reality TV show. You get to see a lot.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
More behind the scenes than what you do on a
normal like, oh, everything's glitz and glam, you know, during
this TV show, you don't see all the stress and
all the hard stuff that goes on behind the scenes.
So I'm excited for people to watch this. It'll be
coming out this fall to CBS and Paramount Plus. It'll
be on Sunday evenings. But I don't know for sure
when the air date is just yet. But I'm excited
(25:34):
for people to watch and see how far.
Speaker 3 (25:35):
I make it.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
I'm looking forward to that too. It's say she's gonna
win it.
Speaker 4 (25:39):
I just.
Speaker 7 (25:41):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (25:42):
You'll have to watch and see.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
And I'll believe I forgot the name of it, Offhan,
What was the name of the Chela show.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
It's called The Road.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
The Road, that's right Road CBS coming up this fall,
and I love it because it's different. You mentioned in
American Idol of the Voice or some of those out there. Yes,
glitz and glamour behind the scenes, and of course a
lot of the the heartbreak stories and things that really
happened in this thing called the music business. All right,
run this bias a little bit. I know this is
one of your top songs. I found it on Apple Music.
(26:09):
The single Flame, This was one of my favorites out
there too because it's really talked about a lot of
cool things, especially looking back at it too, but it's like,
don't touch hers. She's got that little country redneck side
to her. But I love this song flame a lot.
Speaker 11 (26:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (26:24):
Flame is.
Speaker 1 (26:25):
When I wrote this song, it was actually going to
turn into something different, and then I took it to
my label and they're like, now, that doesn't make any sense.
So we had to like take what I had and
really look at it, and we kind of twisted it,
and I wanted it to be a little more like
you know, the classic song Joelene by Dolly Parton, but
blended with the stassy side like Fifth City Loretta Land.
Speaker 3 (26:44):
And so that's kind of where this where this song
came from.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
And it's my current radio single that is out right now,
and it's very very close to being number one in
Texas again, so I'm just gonna keep praying and fingers
crossed it it hits number one. But yeah, my song
Flame is one of those just another one of those
sassy songs. I have a lot of sassy songs.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
I think I'm gonna go back to a little bit
of old school. I've been doing some old school. How
about this one? You probably talked about this in Forever Saturday.
Do you remember that one?
Speaker 1 (27:12):
Oh, that one's actually not mine. I don't know how that.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
No, I guess that was something you know what I
love right there to you.
Speaker 3 (27:20):
Yeah, it's mixed and I don't know how to fix that.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
I read that somewhere and looked back and I said, no,
that was a different I hate when they tied into something. Hey,
you know what, audio, we edited all the good stuff out.
I want to ask you about the women's movement to
We talked about this in Nashville too, having a lot
of fun out there, so much fun, every name you
can think of. I'm digging Ella Langley right now too.
But there's so many others beside Laney doing their thing
out there, and these ladies, you know, up in the
(27:45):
comers out there, rising stars, both in Nashville and in Texas.
I can't recall a time, maybe since nineties country, that
it's been this hot. But tell me, ladies finally getting
that due diligence in country music and that girl power
movement talk about that.
Speaker 3 (27:58):
For me, Yeah, I'm a I mean everyone knows I'm a.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
I'm a huge supporter of the ladies, and I feel
like right now is our time to shine. There's so
many females in the country music industry that are that
are finally getting the recognition that they deserve. I mean,
Caitlin Butts is one of those that has a busted
her tail for years and you know, it's finally getting
up in there with you know, Ella Langley and Landy
(28:22):
Wilson and uh, there's there's just so many of us
that have, you know, worked so hard and continue to
work hard. And it's the ones that work hard and
continue to work hard and that don't give up and
don't get down. You just got to keep pushing forward.
And those are the ones that are going to keep on,
you know, opening doors that keep getting closed in our faces.
So I think it's really cool to see us gals,
(28:44):
you know, sticking together and walking hand in hand through
the through the doors that aren't typically open for women
for being honest. So I'm excited to be a part
of that and hoping I can keep you know, kicking
and pushing my way up to the top as well, so.
Speaker 2 (28:59):
I love this time a year, we start talking about July,
you know, half the year gone, which I can't believe
we're saying that now too, and half the year left,
and we start saying Christmas in July, and I'm going
what Christmas songs can I put on a playlist that
came out in twenty twenty four, and it will be
pitched to us this year too at the same time,
and we'll put them on there. You did a great
rendition of this I'll Be Home for Christmas. Took one
of the classics and put your own spin on this thing.
(29:20):
Talk about this in the arrangement, how it came together.
I love this song.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
Yeah, I'll be Home for Christmas.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
We when my label asked me what Christmas song I
wanted to do, I said, well, you know, my grandparents'
favorite Christmas song is I'll Be Home for Christmas.
Speaker 3 (29:33):
So I really did it, you know, for.
Speaker 1 (29:34):
Them to release this song for them, and I took it,
you know, to the studio and Kent Wells of course
worked his magic and put his little, you know, special
touch on it, and it just turned into a really,
really beautiful rendition that I think will be around for years.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
To come, So who knows, maybe I'll do a Christmas
album sometime. That would be.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
It's that that could be could take to take some
of those songs off the playlist and make it to
Billy Joe Jones playlist for Christmas out there too, Hey,
talking about favorite foods when you guys went out, I
got to try a new place over in Germantown which
was three one two pizza, which was like a Chicago style,
was really good. And then I went to the diner
on the sixth floor ate some probably not so good. Well,
I didn't have a salad there too, which was actually good.
(30:15):
Blueberry cheesecake was really good. Where'd y'all go when you
got to go out minus the shows and have fun
during that sea? Might weake any favorite restaurants?
Speaker 1 (30:22):
Well, we definitely stayed away from downtown, Like I got
away from downtown as far as possible. We actually went
over to Brentwood and ate at Del Frisco's over in Brentwood,
which is so good. I love their foods, so that
and I love like pf Chain's and you know, stuff
like that for lunch, so that's good. I'm a big
(30:43):
foodie person. I can go on and tell you all
my favorite places in Nashville.
Speaker 2 (30:47):
All right, hey, pizza, where do you like pizza? No
matter where it is?
Speaker 1 (30:51):
I don't like I'm not a big pizza girl. Okay,
I'm really not a big pizza girl. I I'll eat
it if I have to, but I'm really not that
big on on pizza.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
All right. Mexican food, Oh, I.
Speaker 3 (31:04):
Do love me some Mexican food.
Speaker 1 (31:06):
I don't know if I've ever really had it in Nashville.
I mean I've been to like there's.
Speaker 3 (31:11):
This really good taco place called Baker's Field. Baker's Field.
That place is really good. They have like street tacos
and stuff. So I do love that.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
I need to find me like a really good Mexican
food restaurant in Nashville, so someone can tell me what that.
Speaker 2 (31:27):
I still say that Antonio, Texas, when you go there
and you have authentic Mexicans.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
Oh yeah, that too, it's hard to beat like a real, actual,
you know, Mexican food.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
Not just text mex So yeah, all right, we'll do
this one too. I know it's a sore thumb right
now too. Of course for me, it's it's great because
they're playing well, look Astros Raangers. You're always gonna come
back because we can have our front rivalry and we'll
probably go to a game at some point, you know
this season, Arlington and both Houston down here too. But uh,
one's going in one direction, one's kind of going in
(31:57):
the other direction. But I still say it's plenty of
eighty something games whatever's left right now to to go
halfway through the season. All Star Break coming up there too.
And this is a fun rivalry because it's an I
forty five silver boot series and this just is one
of the best rivalries in sports. I know you love
this and you love your Texas Rangers.
Speaker 3 (32:16):
I do love my Texas Rangers.
Speaker 1 (32:17):
Actually just sang the national anthem for them about two
weeks ago or so. I sang on Father's Day and
I got to bring my sweet little, precious ninety year
old grandpa down to the field with me, so he
got to go with me on the field. And you
just thought that he was just so famous, like he
thought he was super famous.
Speaker 3 (32:35):
So it was cool.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
Well, I'd love to be out there with you, to
be a guest of yours at some point, get out there,
and it just happened.
Speaker 3 (32:43):
We're gonna make it happen, thik it out.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
Kick back with a few beers and enjoy that too
at the same time. And I want you guys to
enjoy her music across all the DSPs out there too,
one of the top Texas country artists. Three number ones
and more number ones coming up to probably there too,
the CBS A TV show coming out there this fall
to Taylor Sheraton, does a lot of cool things out
there too. Anything Taylor Sheridan touches turns to gold. And
(33:04):
of course out there a lot more coming up with
Why You Got to Be So Cowboy and the brand
new record coming out Turquoise and Silver, coming up this
fall with a yet to be determined date. Billy Joe

the time with me.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
You got it. She says, I'm the problem. That's her
hat too as well. I love that there.
Speaker 3 (33:31):
I am the problem actually.
Speaker 2 (33:32):
A big problem to the record, whether the country music
they are coming up there. Jalvin Stretch. She already is
and she's again forecasting her way out there to one
of the top Texas country artists out there, both on
tours to support act and of course watch Out Green
Hall could be coming up in twenty twenty six, which
is in the works right now too. We're back in
