Speaker 1 (00:31):
Welcome to episode five hundred of five and five. It
is Wednesday, October fifteenth. I'm your host, Critic Goldstein, joined
as usual by Patrick Dubuke and Jeffrey pattern Astro. Not
quite as usual, we have a fourth leg of this table.
We have Colin Whitchurch, former editor at Baseball Perspectus, current

(00:53):
I don't know what your title is, Colin.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
That makes two of us.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Okay, current employee at.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Action Network that works thanks, current comment writer for the
twenty twenty six Baseball Perspectus annual. So still involved with BP,
still involved in this podcast because he is going to
host our five hundredth episode. He is volunteered to be
games master. I somewhat forced it upon him. I mean

(01:24):
he did offer, but I kind of raised the idea
of like, hey, you could do some games for us
since he did it once before, and he did. He
did volunteer, and we took him up on that quite quickly.
So Colin, I will say, I guess I'll say, you know,
this is the time for banter. But after that the
floor is yours.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
So thank you, Thank you Colin for doing two hours
of gold glob finalist chat.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
So we'll start with the American League. Yeah, it's funny,
I was. I was. So the first game we're gonna
play is Trendy Grid, which you guys have played plenty
of times, but I was doing this mornings Immaculate Grid,
and one of them was one of the columns was
gold Glovers, and I got I got it wrong because

(02:09):
I thought that it could just be have played for
the team and has won a gold glove, but apparently
won a gold glove with the team, so like blue
Jay's gold glove. I entered Mark Burley and I was
immediately eliminated because three with the White Sox, and that
got me down a rabbit hole of looking at pictures
who have won gold glove and it's just a really

(02:31):
weird picture.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Defense Patrick could be too close to the sun.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
But yeah, we can jump right into that game. Unless
you guys are going to banter?

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Do we have any banter? Should we just go into
our games? Have you special episode?

Speaker 5 (02:45):
Have you you've beaten yet, Craig?

Speaker 3 (02:48):
I have not.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
I actually haven't since I told you I lost that
got there a second time and lost.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
I have not played. There's been some stuff going on,
so I haven't played.

Speaker 6 (02:59):
So I fine, fine, Fine, I'm not in Haighties two,
but I have I need every once in a while,
I need a game for when we need one more
thing to come in at the end of the night editorially.
And so I am playing a game called Little Rocket Lab.
It is a cross between Starting Valley and Factoria. So
essentially it is a cozy little game about rebuilding a

(03:21):
small town and also having conveyor belts all over the
place feeding the materials in the factories. And I just
want to say that I don't know if there's any
type of game, maybe even type of media where the
difference between what I how much I want to enjoy
a game, or how much do I want to enjoy
a thing, and how capable I am at that thing

(03:43):
is than this game. Like whenever there's a factory, I'm like, oh,
this is gonna be the time where I synergize and
I figure out all the ways to combine all these things.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
And it's a puzzle and I'm terrible at it. I'm
just so bad at it and it depresses me. And uh, yeah,
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (03:58):
I'll play, but I'll play. I'll play the next one
because I'll be like, maybe this is the one.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
That makes me feel like you're just a bias fumetare. Yeah, okay,
I just I do want to note before we jump
into trendy Grid.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
That Colin did many of these games on his own.
We did get the games that people sent in, and
we are deeply appreciative.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
We will be using them. I think you're using one coin,
is that right? Yes? I'm using the one I created
many games before you forwarded me all the games that
had been created by others, So they're great. I looked
at all of them. I used one, and I'm gonna
throw the others in the camp.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
Think he thinks you're best, He's better than you all,
is what.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
At all?

Speaker 1 (04:41):
But we will be using them. So thank you, thank you,
thank you very much. We very much appreciate it. So
this is a booth game, is it not?

Speaker 2 (04:49):
I believe complicated. I believe played ever gonna be booth games.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Oh good.

Speaker 6 (04:55):
I've never done trendy Grid because I've always been the
one making Trendy Grid, so I'm very nervous about this.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
I should send the categories in the chat, right, is
that what you? I think?

Speaker 5 (05:03):
With I think with three of us, the third person
will just have a much bigger advantage. So I guess, like,
don't look at it until it's your twa.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Yeah, okay, let me send these in the Who's who's
going first to click on it? That's up to y'all.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
You no, no, it's not up to it.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Yeah right, Well, well we'll have Jeffrey go first. Yeah, sure.

Speaker 5 (05:26):
A right, got this?

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (05:31):
Great?

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Yeah, So what I should have said before they took
off their headphones is I tried really hard to find
a trendy grid that included since it's a special five
hundred up, so I tried really hard to find one
that included the Mets, Mariners, and Dodgers in there, but
I failed. I couldn't find a single grid I find
this will be more torturous, so instead I just found
the most tortuous one.

Speaker 5 (05:49):
Yeah, all right, so we.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Will start with Well, I guess I'll give people the categories.
It's the top is White Sox, Nationals and All Star,
and across is Tiger's twins and ten plus win season
by pitcher. Okay, so first up is White Sox and Tigers.
Maglio Ordonez okay, White Sox and Twins.

Speaker 5 (06:16):
Man, there's gotta be like some seventies guy that Patrick's
gonna know for this. But White Socks and Twins. M jeez,

(06:38):
they haven't even liked. They don't trade, they're in the
same divisions. They haven't even traded recently.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Oh should I give you the percentages? This one's thirty
five percent.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
Time those are but thirty five is reasonably high. So
there should be someone like I'm like getting stuck on
like twins pictures, which is not good thing. Bly eleven
didn't pitch for the White Sox. I don't think. I
mean he might have. Alright, I'm gonna pass because I'm

(07:11):
gonna spend twitch about This is a long.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Game, Okay, White Sox ten plus win season by a pitcher.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
Yeah, they see a lot of options here, Mark Burley.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Okay, Nationals and Tigers, Jordan Zimmerman, NAT's and Twins.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
This includes the expos too. I'm still going with it.
Does like I want to say Matt Capps because it's
the very famous trade, but I feel like I shouldn't
say Matt Capps. There's gotta be somebody better than Matt
Capps for this.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Did Carter Caps also play for both? I'm just gonna
say Matt Caps all right, Nationals ten win seasons.

Speaker 5 (08:00):
God, so it's either going to be Strasburg or Shirtser,
because I don't think anyone's picking like Denny Martinez or
Pedro for this. I will go with Surezer.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
Okay. Uh, Tiger's All Star Miguel Cabrera, Twins all Star
Joe Mauer, and an All star pitcher who won ten
games in a season. Four percent?

Speaker 5 (08:32):
Okay, Jesus Clayton Kershaw. He saw the Dodgers are still
in the playoffs. Maybe people have Clayton Kersha on the mind,
all right, like Schooble or something.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Now, all right, all right, uh, Patrick, I guess I
don't know how to get the people's attention that the
gonna have.

Speaker 5 (08:54):
They're both gonna have to put their headphones on there. Okay,
Patrick already grabbed it. Craig's not paying attention. No, you're
good here, No, No, you can pay your headphone, joh Craig.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
All right, Patrick? Are you?

Speaker 4 (09:05):
I'm ready to go?

Speaker 2 (09:06):
Jeff got one, two, three, four.

Speaker 5 (09:12):
Better than I thought.

Speaker 4 (09:12):
Pretty good.

Speaker 5 (09:13):
Actually, probably given the categories, I probably shouldn't better than that,
but I'm all right.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
First off, look, oh yeah, you gotta look.

Speaker 5 (09:23):
All right, Okay, really.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
So first up, White Socks and Tigers.

Speaker 4 (09:33):
Okay, can we do two teams that exist though.

Speaker 5 (09:37):
A lot of als I'm fighting against.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
I'm fighting against this podcast coastal bias.

Speaker 4 (09:45):
Okay, White Sox and Tigers. The Tigers just don't get
rid of their famous guys. They keep them forever. Boy No,

(10:06):
And I'm like, I'm looking.

Speaker 6 (10:07):
The next one's White Sox Twins, and I'm like generating
Tigers twins. People, how is this how it happened? I'm
gonna skip for now.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Okay, White Sox and Twins.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
All right, you're supposed to buy any more time than that.
White Sox and Twins five games to get through, I know,
and I'm blanking so hard.

Speaker 6 (10:29):
Let's just go to White Sox and ten plus pitching
wins first. Okay, I'll just do I will just do
Mark Burley for that. Okay, all right, Nationals and Tigers. Yes,
Nationals and Tigers. Oh, the first that popped.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
In my head is absolutely not winning it. Let's say,
oh God, jam Or Candelario.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
Pass, Nationals and Twins.

Speaker 6 (11:03):
Nationals and Twins, Oh God, And so I get like,
immediately I'm thinking about the.

Speaker 4 (11:07):
Senators and the Twins the same team. It's the biggest choke.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
Job ever, my god exposed as a reminder, Oh, yes
it does. I know.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
Yeah, no that you know. That's great because Al Newman's
now on the board.

Speaker 5 (11:23):
Holm Oak pitched for the Twins. He must have right
at some point.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
Uh wow.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (11:40):
The Nationals are essentially a central team. It's hard to play.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
It's true.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
What I'm learning here is that we need more episodes
where Patrick has to play the game.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
No, we don't, absolutely don't. I'm gonna pass on that
too and get back to it.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
Nationals ten plus win picture season.

Speaker 4 (11:57):
Same ex Jersey.

Speaker 6 (12:00):
You were in Jeff, you were like, oh, I should
have gotten more based on these categories, and.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Like, no, Tigers All Star.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
Tiger's All Star. Let's go with which one's the most
popular one.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
I'll say schoobl Okay, Twins all.

Speaker 4 (12:18):
Star, let's go with I'll go with Buxton.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
And an all star pitcher with ten plus wins in
a season.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
Let's go with Nolan Ryan.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
Okay, Craig is up.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
Well, I can go back.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
I can go back. Oh, you can go back to
your torture Patrick a little bit.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
No, I don't have any more answers for those at
this point, But I white Socks, Tigers, White Sox twins,
and Nationals twins.

Speaker 6 (12:52):
Yeah, all right, White Sox Tigers. I'm just gonna throughout
the first person I can think of. If I can
think of somebody.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
It feels like there should have been a Tigers or
Twins cast off in the last few years ended upon
the White Sox in this Yeah, Ara, but I couldn't
think of one.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (13:18):
I also passed on White Sox twins for the record.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
Okay, boy, And there's not even any good like you know.

Speaker 6 (13:26):
Of course, the reason why I'm not good at trendy
great is that I'm eighties coded. Those Those aren't the
answers that are designed to win.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
If it were, if it were lowest score, you would.

Speaker 4 (13:35):
Yeah, I'm better at lowest score than I have a
highest score. But I'm not.

Speaker 6 (13:39):
Yeah, I'm not coming never mind, just bad. I'm passed
all three.

Speaker 5 (13:47):
He's not looking, he's so yeah, there we go.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
All right, So Craig Jeff got too.

Speaker 4 (13:59):
Pat Jeff got two, got four, got four, and Patrick,
we don't need to talk about Patriatrick.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
Welcome to the other side of the table, Patrick, Patrick,
Patrick got one. Okay, okay, So I can look at
the chat now, yeah, have fun. You can look at
the chat now.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
Okay, now did you create this? No, it's you know.

Speaker 4 (14:22):
It certainly feels like it though, doesn't it.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
All right, Well, i'll say this. I'll say I only
said this when Jeffrey was listening. But what I should
have said off the top is I looked really hard
for a trendy grid that included because this is the
five hundredth episode the Mets, Mariners and Dodgers in it.
But I couldn't find There are like nine hundred of these,
and I clicked through a lot and I could not

(14:46):
find them.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
You found the Central.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
Division instead, So instead I found the most tortuous one podcast.
All right, all right, fair enough, all right, right, Craig,
first up, White Sox Tigers. All right, this is just
I don't I'm sure there is a more historical example here,
but Maglio or drun is.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
Just off the top to me.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Okay, White Sox Twins.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
That's weird for me. I don't.

Speaker 5 (15:15):
Well, if you come up with an answer, you'll be
the only one who have come up with one, so you'll.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
Be the only past on this one.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
Why don't why Why aren't.

Speaker 4 (15:23):
There the interdivisional things each other as much.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
Yeah, white white Sox. I can't think of three and
one second, but I'm a White Sox fan, so you.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
Know, yeah, sure it Uh yeah, it's like my.

Speaker 5 (15:37):
I just thought of one. Now it's not gonna be
the but I did think of one.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
I mean, I thought I wanted to go to Nick Punto,
but I don't think he played for the White Sox but.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Just got school, just got talked about by Ozzie Gee
and Hawk Harrelson over and over again when the white.

Speaker 4 (15:55):
Honorary white.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
So there's gotta be.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
Man even like weirdo relievers.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
I'm trying to think that that.

Speaker 5 (16:08):
No, not a little weird weird reliever a crossover either.

Speaker 3 (16:10):
I don't think can I come back to or we
straight up I'll try and I'll try and take background.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
It won't help, okay, Uh a White Sox pitcher who
won ten games in a season.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
See this is just I guess Chris Sale going to go.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
Probably better than all right, Uh, Nation is bad that
My first thought was Hoavier Vasquez.

Speaker 6 (16:34):
I actually thought about Hobviyer Vascuz at one point as well.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
But yeah, I'm gonna go Christil okay, Nationals Tigers. Okay,
I mean so like there's a recency that Kyle Finnigan
obviously just happened my brain and again this is not
a good thing. Went straight to Dimitri Young.

Speaker 5 (16:55):
See mine went straight to Matt Capps.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
I don't. I didn't remember him the time.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
It was like a big Matt Capps. No, he didn't
go for the White Sox.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
Your your your Matt Caps was for another answer, Jeffrey
Not this one wasn't.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
Twins.

Speaker 5 (17:11):
Yeah, yeah, you gotta careful where there's all these central
teams are exactly the same.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
They are Nationals and the national Jordan.

Speaker 5 (17:19):
Zimmerman, that's what I actually.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
No, wait, no, no, I cancel that one.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
Max Schureser, oh okay, yeah yeah, or animal sentence.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
But Max, I use for a separate one, and I
did too, So Nationals Twins, Nationals if you want to
use Max Caps.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
No, no, I was going to pick someone in that trade.
I would pick Wilson Ramos.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
Did he actually play for the Twins?

Speaker 3 (17:49):
Oh that's a good question. Was he just a prospect?

Speaker 4 (17:52):
I went, I went straight for this one.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
Yeah, I don't, Patrick, I got that, can't.

Speaker 4 (17:59):
It's because he said for the Senators and Twins.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
Does that count?

Speaker 4 (18:03):
No?

Speaker 5 (18:04):
No, the explos Nationals and Twins.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
Huh, there's not a lot of crossover there. I feel like.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
I can I put Jacob Young on the books to
show up for the Twins. Can I book that in
the future. Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
I guess Matt Capps, I don't.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
I don't. Who Oh, all right?

Speaker 1 (18:36):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (18:37):
Did Brian Doser play for the Nts? I did Brian
do do?

Speaker 2 (18:40):
All right?

Speaker 3 (18:41):
I don't think he did.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
Ok, you don't get credit for getting higher than Matt Capps,
even unless it's in first but Nationals ten plus win
season by pitcher.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
Uh, I will go with.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
I mean Strasberg.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
I guess it's probably sure.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Do I reuse? Can do it twice? Because you can't
reuse in the game. Right, We've We've varied I will,
You've gone back and forth.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
Yeah, the official.

Speaker 4 (19:11):
Answer is the same twice. Then I will let you.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
Yeah, if if, if the if there were duplicate answers
in this game, I would let you use it twice.
So that's a clue. I guess for you. There's not.
There's not duplicate answers in this game. Okay, I will
I will go with Strasburg that okay, Tigers All Star,
Miguel Cabrera Twins all Star, just Nick Plunto.

Speaker 5 (19:38):
Flaster a twins every day he must have made one.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
What the twins are? The twins are tough for me.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
This is a little bit of a I mean like
and this is this is someone to your point about
before Colin. This is someone who made an Ulstar game
as a twin.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
I don't know if that was the criteria of this
initial grid.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
I'm pretty sure it is.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
Yeah, but I'm pretty sure it is. Okay, Yeah, Joe
Maher okay, and now an All Star pitcher who won
ten plus games in a season. Just this is worse
than four percent. This one was four percent four percent?

Speaker 3 (20:22):
Wow, yeah, jesus An almost Pedro Martinez.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
Okay, all right, Uh, Craig and Jeff tied with four each.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
I'll take it.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
Yeah, Patrick with one the answers White Sox, Tigers, Meglio
ORDONEZ sure.

Speaker 4 (20:41):
Player that I just have decided to memory. I don't
know why he's good.

Speaker 5 (20:44):
He's good, good player. He's like one of thos, like
forty win players. You just immediately forget why.

Speaker 2 (20:48):
White Sox and Twins, which nobody even could find a
guess is a Hall of Famer Jim Tomy.

Speaker 4 (20:55):
I was thinking about the White Yeah, you know, he
did played for a Twin, didn't play.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
Played for the Twins, but I did.

Speaker 5 (21:01):
I can't.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
I don't think.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
I like that there are in which team he didn't
play for.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
I'm like, yeah, that's actually of course it's him.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
I did come up.

Speaker 5 (21:11):
I did finally come up with Michael A.

Speaker 4 (21:12):
Taylor.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Okay, that's not what I thought of. I thought of
the Eduardo Escobar Francisco Liriano trade. White Sox ten plus
win season was Mark Burley, So that's one that that
was my point both not I thought about Burley and
then I didn't know if I was getting getting think.

Speaker 5 (21:32):
I think Burley, Yeah, Sale has just been pitched for
so many other teams now, and he immediately comes to
mind for White biggest name.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
Yeah. By the way, Brian Doser did play for the Nationals.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
Good, I believe you. How many Nationals coded.

Speaker 4 (21:48):
That's a rhetorical question.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
Wilson Ramos played seven games for the Twins, But okay,
there you go. Nationals Tigers was Max Surezer, uh Nationals
Twins was Nelson Cruz.

Speaker 5 (22:01):
Okay, I am sure, sure, but like I don't think
of him as a national, Like, didn't you do two
years there?

Speaker 2 (22:07):
He does?

Speaker 5 (22:08):
I think?

Speaker 2 (22:08):
I think you did the Nationals and then Nationals ten
plus win season. Patrick and Jeffrey both said sures it
for this one. It was Strasbourg.

Speaker 5 (22:15):
Okay. Interesting, I went back and forth.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
Tiger's All Star, Miguel Cabrera, Jeffrey Craig got that Twins
All Star. Nobody got Kirby Puckett.

Speaker 5 (22:23):
Actually sure, I didn't think i'd go for that part.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
And then All Star with ten plus win seasons at
four percent. Jeffrey got it right. It's Clayton Kershaw. Wow.

Speaker 5 (22:33):
Wow, I just like somebody that's still pitching in the
playoffs reasonably famous.

Speaker 3 (22:37):
Okay, let's not call it pitching in the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
Has appeared in the playoffs, has pitched. What I should
have said is when I was going through these, I
don't remember how old this grid is, so it's not
a current. It's not pitching in the playoffs. Thing isn't
neither for whatever, But still, hey, what the process work? Yes?

Speaker 4 (22:57):
All right?

Speaker 2 (22:57):
I need to before we move on and figure out
a better way to keep track of these scores because
I didn't think about that.

Speaker 5 (23:03):
It doesn't really matter.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
Oh it matters, right, Brighton is keeping track? Do you
want me to just write it down? I got it,
I got it, I gotta I gotta text thank you though.

Speaker 4 (23:15):
You want to start keeping track now right as.

Speaker 3 (23:19):
I'm as I'm tied for a lead?

Speaker 2 (23:21):
Yes, all right? Our next game I think it's probably
gonna be the one that pisses you guys off the
most leaderboard sort so I have five categories, answers, five
points for one, et cetera. Let me get this up.

(23:42):
We can just keep going in the same order if
that works, Jeffrey, all right, First up, how many guessers
do how many guesses.

Speaker 5 (23:56):
Remember the rules for these league leaders in singles? Singles
Jacob Wilson, Louis or Eyes other random people that hit
for the Let's go with Xavier Edwards, I get a

(24:17):
bad season. Let's not go with Zavier Edwards. Are you're
not that bad a season? Sack and forth? Uh, Nico Horner.
That's three. You can like play a lot to get

(24:41):
here too. I'm sure, I'm sure I'm missing somebody with
a high batting average tree Turner, And let's go with

(25:04):
Haroldo Parademo, Okay, all right, Uh, doubles, I feel like
Corbyn Carrol had a lot of doubles. Peter Alonzo, I

(25:27):
know had a lot of doubles. He had forty doubles.
I don't know how many of what you have to
hit to lead the league in doubles. Now, Carol Alonzo
I didn't have a good season. Judge mostly his homerk.

(25:50):
Judge has got to be there though I'm a judge.
M Freeman missed. I'm Betsmas time. Oh Tani, I need
one more. Riley Green had like more homers and doubles.

(26:16):
Let's go with Yeah, I feel like peak Armor songs
like all home runs. Let's go with Randy A Rose Arena.

Speaker 2 (26:36):
Okay, all right? Uh hits aloud, pitcher hits aloud.

Speaker 5 (26:43):
Yes, this shouldn't this should theoretically be Yeah. Well, let's
start with he pitched Kyle Freeland.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
Okay, uh.

Speaker 5 (27:02):
My Marquez make all the starts this year, just pick
rocky starters. They all miss time. Is a problem, like
fel their miss time and.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
Freeland dealing when it feels like you pitched like a
full season.

Speaker 5 (27:17):
Yeah, So with Freeland, go with like there's feel like
some giant guy that just like give up a million
base hits. But I feel like all of these teams
cycle through starters too. Let's go with like running a Blanco, Okay,

(27:43):
Charlie Morton feels like Charlie Morton. You gotta like pitch
a lot and so like pitch just some contact. Logan Webb,
he strikes size out, but I feel like he does
give hits because some of this is just going to
be a counting stand for like guys that pitched a lot.

(28:06):
Kyler and Walker pitched out of the pen too much,
you know what. David Peterson.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
Grounded into double plays.

Speaker 5 (28:23):
Junior Camenaro uh Sodo did a lot at the beginning
of the season, but then did it last. Let's go
Schwarber he leads off, though, Let's still go with Shoreber. Okay,
it'd be like a catcher that doesn't run well and

(28:46):
hits the ball on the ground a lot, Patrick Bailey. Uh,
I'll throw a Sodo in there too, because they might
have had two guys in the top five. Relly has
volume air too much and their catcher that like vaguely

(29:07):
fits this format, and by catchers, they don't play that much.
But I'm still gonna say Dylan Dingler Dingler. Yeah, she said,
actually take off Dingler and put Mooky Bets. It's like
Bets grounded. And maybe I'm just like Craig Pilled because
I have to listen to about it constantly.

Speaker 2 (29:29):
All right, last category here, picture losses. Mm hmm. You
guys had picture wins a few episodes ago.

Speaker 5 (29:36):
So I had to throw Kyle Freeland. There's like I've
like looked, I saw somebody that I looked at fairly
recently at a bunch of losses this year, and it's
like completely gone away from me. Now, Miles Meekalas, I'm
gonna put Miles meekloss on there. Okay, I should probably

(30:00):
stick to like bad teams. So the way it talks like, uh,
Sean Burke's goes Sean Burke. Okay, this is really bad
this year other than the wee Severino, he pitched a lot,
but they weren't bad bad but he pitched a lot. Oh,

(30:22):
we gotta we gotta get some nats on here. What
am I doing? I gotta remember who like pitches for them?
I like, I like, I know who they are, but
I remember their names. Jake Urban with Jake Urban, I
got one more. Let's go with Let's do a Let's
do Mitch Keller. I hate to say it, but let's

(30:44):
do Mitch Keller.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
All right, all right, Patrick Patrickson.

Speaker 4 (30:53):
Jeff looking increasingly disgruntled.

Speaker 5 (30:56):
I think I did okay, Like I didn't know.

Speaker 6 (30:59):
The thing is, like, theoretically we should be in a
competition and your suffering should be to my benefit. But really,
all that just means is that I'm also going to suffer.
I need the rising.

Speaker 2 (31:08):
Time, so there are seventy five points available around it
if my math is correct. Jeff got twenty six.

Speaker 5 (31:16):
Okay, not as good as I thought. I was hoping
for like half, but that's saying you whenever, we'll see
how it goes. We'll find out if that's a good
number or not.

Speaker 2 (31:25):
All right, Patrick, Top five league leaders in singles, singles,
All right, let's see.

Speaker 6 (31:35):
Let's go with Ernie Clement, Luisa Rise. Boy's gotta be
somebody who played all year. That's one of the problems.
Let's see. How about.

Speaker 4 (32:02):
I'm gonna throw Aaron Judge out there because I feel
like you'd be fifth.

Speaker 5 (32:05):
Yeah, I thought about it, but I just don't.

Speaker 4 (32:07):
Yeah. No, it's fine and Trey Turner and uh, let's see,
how about I'm gonna I'm gonna play it safe again.

Speaker 5 (32:22):
Oh oh oh oh.

Speaker 4 (32:24):
Jacob Wilson, he.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
Played all year.

Speaker 5 (32:26):
He missed some time, but I think he missed. He
only hit singles. He actually hit some all rounds this year.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
But yeah, all right, doubles doubles, okay, yeah, when he
started to see me struggle a little bit.

Speaker 4 (32:40):
All right, let's see, I'm gonna go with Bobby Witt Junior.

Speaker 5 (32:45):
Oh that's a good one. I shouldn't with that.

Speaker 4 (32:49):
I'm gonna go with Aaron Judge again.

Speaker 6 (32:51):
I'm just gonna do like we're gonna We're twenty six
out of seventy five.

Speaker 4 (32:54):
I'm doing Aaron Judge for every.

Speaker 6 (32:55):
Offensive category, just to be safe. Let's see, Oh, Tony,
I guess I don't think o Tani, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (33:07):
Let's go with h Boba Schett feels like a doubles guy.

Speaker 5 (33:13):
He missed only a couple of weeks.

Speaker 4 (33:16):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
And let's say Freddy Freeman, Okay, pitcher hits a loud,
Pitcher hits.

Speaker 4 (33:24):
A loud Patrick Corbin, Uh, and then I will he
pitched like yeah, every single start. I also want to
do Patrick Corbin for more time, just take not.

Speaker 6 (33:42):
Let's see you want you want innings.

Speaker 4 (33:47):
I'm gonna say.

Speaker 5 (33:51):
Let's see.

Speaker 4 (33:56):
Merrill Kelly feels like a good name for.

Speaker 5 (33:59):
This good yes, good and in the family few has
like good answer, good.

Speaker 4 (34:03):
Answer, good answer, good answer.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
I do like each each person comes in, you get
the reactions from the.

Speaker 4 (34:10):
Let's go with uh, Let's see uh uh Keller Keller Field.
This feels like Keller category Uh.

Speaker 6 (34:30):
And then I feel like I need to get a
Nationals picture. Let's go with Jake Irvan.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
I think all right grounded into double plays.

Speaker 4 (34:41):
Grounded is double plays? All right, kem and arrow.

Speaker 2 (34:46):
Been a gimme for both of you so far to
give me for Craig.

Speaker 6 (34:49):
Yeah, let's let's see after that boy, Peter Alonzo, I
don't you know, I don't do a very good job
of knowing like who just yeah, I mean, I know
who's slow, but I don't know who hits a lot
of grounders.

Speaker 4 (35:09):
Let's see.

Speaker 6 (35:10):
I'm gonna say, uh, I feel like there should be
some rockies in here. Let's go with Ryan McMahon. Ryan
McMahon feels like a feels like a grounded and a
double thing I like, depressingly, I'm gonna I want to
go for Mike Trout, the Aaron Judge of bad profensive
statistics and uh, let's say, I'm gonna see, no, I

(35:35):
don't think he fly. I don't think he grounds enough.
Let's say Joe No, no, I'm not gonna do Joe
Adell for this.

Speaker 4 (35:41):
I'm gonna do Marcus Semeon. Marcus Semeon feels good. Okay,
all right, I don't think so, but he feels good.

Speaker 2 (35:52):
Last category, picture losses.

Speaker 4 (35:55):
Picture losses. Okay, the entire Nationals.

Speaker 6 (36:00):
Let's go back to Irvin. I feel like that's a
good that's a good shot there.

Speaker 5 (36:04):
Yeah, I came up with too many before. I remember
the Nationals exist unfortunately, Yeah, I did say j Garvin
at the end.

Speaker 4 (36:10):
Yeah, let's let's go with ut'tle do one more.

Speaker 6 (36:13):
I know Mitchell Parker's on there. Mitchell Parker has to
be on there. It's weird.

Speaker 4 (36:17):
Patrick Corbyn is not. I'm gonna say, let me look
at the list of teams here real quick. Just let's see, Oh,
what was that was the name of that guy?

Speaker 6 (36:31):
The problem is like you get the real bad teams
and they don't cycle through their They cycle through their
pictures too many, too any times. So like Shane Smith
is theoretically like the only white Sox pitcher who pitched
all year because they found other pitchers.

Speaker 4 (36:45):
So you can't really trust that.

Speaker 6 (36:48):
The Orioles they weren't healthy enough. Yeah, let's see Marquez.

Speaker 4 (37:02):
Let's do uh Freeland.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
And were you were you guessing Marquez? Also?

Speaker 4 (37:09):
Yeah, Marquees and Freeland and uh, let's say, oh, al Kantar,
Let's say al Kantar.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
Okay, that up. We'll get Craig back on.

Speaker 5 (37:25):
All right, Craig, there we go.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
All right, Patrick got thirty nine points.

Speaker 5 (37:37):
That's what I was shooting for.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
So Jeffrey got twenty six points.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
Incoming twelve points. They're gonna be loud though, all right, Craig,
Top five?

Speaker 3 (37:50):
I do, I do three?

Speaker 4 (37:52):
I guesses five categories.

Speaker 5 (37:54):
Yeah, it's too many guesses.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
I guess there's five categories. Yeah, league leaders in singles.

Speaker 3 (38:05):
The league leader in singles? Oh man. Uh so just
my thought process here.

Speaker 1 (38:15):
I immediately went to, like Trey Turner was the only
guy with a batting average over three hundred, so you
had to have a lot of so you know what,
I'll put him in. I know he didn't just a singles,
but I'll put him in my five guesses.

Speaker 3 (38:25):
That's a guess.

Speaker 2 (38:26):
Trey Turner. I'm trying to think a guy like just.

Speaker 3 (38:31):
Trey Turner.

Speaker 1 (38:32):
I know he didn't have a great year. I'm gonna
Luisa Rise sure. I'm just gonna pull up standing so
I can think about players on teams.

Speaker 2 (38:43):
I apologize. I should have done that. You know, when
there were two people doing this ahead.

Speaker 3 (38:47):
Of me, hm hmmm.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
I normally would go with Stephen Kwan, but he was
kind of bad.

Speaker 1 (38:58):
I'm trying to think of the contact guy like who
alongside Arise would have had a ton of singles.

Speaker 2 (39:08):
Matthew McConaughey, m hm hmm. Uh geez.

Speaker 3 (39:17):
Let's go with Hanna. I'll be honest, I don't know
what I'm doing. Let's go with Corbyn Carrol.

Speaker 2 (39:25):
Y's pipes. I had someone in mind, and I've lost
them already. Mm hmm.

Speaker 3 (39:40):
But I've done three.

Speaker 2 (39:41):
Yes, this is so bad.

Speaker 1 (39:47):
Uh South Rayleick, but whatever, he played a lot and
he doesn't hit for power uh and mhm oh my
god man, Yeah, I'm not I'm gonna withhold my thoughts

(40:07):
on Chandler Simpson.

Speaker 3 (40:09):
I can't believe he's stolen bases.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
That that.

Speaker 1 (40:15):
Is it gonna it's gonna be annoying when it's like
Judger or Otani or something because they just hit a lot.
But man, I don't know. Uh h, there's no one
on the Rockies I can pick, is there. It feels

(40:38):
like they'd be yeah, a lot.

Speaker 2 (40:41):
Uh, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (40:43):
Alejandro Kirk, that's a bad guess.

Speaker 2 (40:46):
Okay, it's fine.

Speaker 3 (40:48):
Uh we're just gonna not do well in this game.

Speaker 2 (40:52):
Doubles, Oh god.

Speaker 3 (40:54):
Oh this is oh, this is Patrick probably tracks this.

Speaker 2 (40:59):
Some air trying to see how Patrick. It's unfair that
there Mike Patrick got Patrick got two crack and guesses
and doubles.

Speaker 3 (41:09):
Well, the worst part is we know random.

Speaker 1 (41:13):
So that's I don't know, you know what the inspiration
for the piece. I'm just gonna say it, Randy Rose Arena.
We're gonna put him in there?

Speaker 2 (41:19):
Why not?

Speaker 6 (41:20):
It was the inspiration because one year hear is really
good one So I'm just taking my shot.

Speaker 4 (41:24):
Fifty fifty.

Speaker 3 (41:25):
Yeah, that's fifty doubles.

Speaker 5 (41:28):
Man.

Speaker 2 (41:31):
You kind of think like big parts yet five.

Speaker 5 (41:37):
Sections of dead air instead of just one.

Speaker 2 (41:42):
Sorry, So did you have a list of guys for
doubles off the top of your head.

Speaker 5 (41:48):
No, but I went faster than this.

Speaker 2 (41:50):
Okay, sorry, Uh, I.

Speaker 1 (41:53):
Don't know Tris Speaker, Dalton, Aaron Judge, Dalton, bar Show,
Freddie Freeman and I'll do honestly, I'll just do Trey
Turner again. Okay, that's five, right.

Speaker 2 (42:11):
Yes, you have guessed five? All right? Picture hits aloud?
You pitch enough? Okay?

Speaker 1 (42:19):
You know this is just like a list of rockies.
Antonio sends it Tello Herman Marquettes.

Speaker 2 (42:26):
After that, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (42:29):
It feels like this is gonna be a White Sox thing. Colin,
I'm gonna be honest with you, but I don't know
which of the pictures, like Aaron Savall stopped pitching them,
was like, okay, that's annoying. Uh.

Speaker 2 (42:43):
He was also only on the White Sox for like
a month and a half.

Speaker 3 (42:45):
I know, I know, I'm gonna say Jeffrey Springs.

Speaker 1 (42:51):
Uh one of the Orioles, Tomo, Yuki, Sigano.

Speaker 5 (42:58):
And Sana is good pull mh and mm hmmm.

Speaker 2 (43:05):
I don't think he pitched enough, you know what?

Speaker 5 (43:07):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (43:08):
No, probably not. But Dustin Day.

Speaker 2 (43:13):
Grounded into double plays.

Speaker 3 (43:15):
Okay, well, Junior Camerero.

Speaker 2 (43:18):
I said after Patrick Gas, I said, oh, jeff and
Patrick both got the gimme, let's see if Craig does.

Speaker 3 (43:23):
And you yeah, Junior Caminaro after that were in deep trouble.

Speaker 2 (43:27):
It wasn't like Jeffrey forgetting Nick Kurtz immediately after talking
about the athletics.

Speaker 1 (43:31):
And Alejandro Kirk despite hitting andres him Andez clean up
for a little bit.

Speaker 3 (43:42):
I'm gonna go with Kirk.

Speaker 2 (43:44):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (43:44):
You know, I gonna say Mookie Betts, who was really
bad for a while and is slow.

Speaker 2 (43:53):
I'm trying to think who else fits this mold mm.

Speaker 3 (44:01):
Pete Alonzo maybe, And I got one more right, yes, m.

Speaker 2 (44:10):
Let's say. You know, it's kind of.

Speaker 3 (44:14):
Tempting to say, like Louis Rise, but he sacrificed spunted
too much. I'm gonna say.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
Spencer chorkleson okay, last category pitcher losses.

Speaker 3 (44:31):
Pitcher losses.

Speaker 2 (44:32):
Yes, you guys did win a few episodes ago, so.

Speaker 3 (44:34):
Yeah, yeah we did. And it's stuck in my head
that Freddy Peralta was the league leader and which I.

Speaker 2 (44:40):
Did not know Maxus Freed alongside Yeah, oh okay, sure.

Speaker 3 (44:45):
That part didn't stick losses, I'm sure. I mean, I'm
gonna say Senza, Tella and Marquez again, there's probably a
third Rocky honestly, then the amount of losses.

Speaker 2 (45:01):
That they had.

Speaker 1 (45:04):
Again, I probably can't name the White Sox full rotation
at this point that there are a lot of losses there, but.

Speaker 2 (45:10):
I can't either to be fair.

Speaker 1 (45:12):
But also, like the pictures I do remember, aren't that
consistently bad? Like Burke and Smith and whatever like, it's
probably one of I confused those two a lot too. Well,
one was good this year, one was bad.

Speaker 2 (45:24):
Well, that's the concern, which which one was good?

Speaker 4 (45:28):
They both have very short names. First and last, Well, they're.

Speaker 3 (45:31):
Both sewn aln't they No shame?

Speaker 2 (45:35):
Shame, that's it's derivative.

Speaker 3 (45:38):
It's derivative.

Speaker 2 (45:44):
Place.

Speaker 3 (45:45):
Let's be real.

Speaker 2 (45:48):
Go do that, Yeah, you do that, figure out which
you want to pick.

Speaker 3 (45:52):
I'm gonna do Burke.

Speaker 2 (45:54):
I'm gonna say, uh, I am going to say fu
can Christ Craig is right.

Speaker 5 (46:01):
The name Shane is an Anglicized form of the Irish
Gaelic name Sean. Come on, and they're both variants of
the name John. So there you go.

Speaker 2 (46:09):
I should have known that there was a there's a
contestant on Taskmaster. That's Sean s s I A M
well right, Irish, Yeah that was a Oh that was
a Seawan. You're right, that was.

Speaker 1 (46:20):
A Sean Yeah right, and yeah she's awesome. Yes, okay,
I'm sorry, I got oh, got distracted.

Speaker 2 (46:28):
Okay, So you have two guestses left, tell Marquez and Burke.

Speaker 6 (46:33):
And now when Craig finishes this category, will it count
towards the twenty twenty six total.

Speaker 3 (46:41):
You know, this is how I do this.

Speaker 2 (46:43):
I don't know what's whatever, it's as a podcast listener,
I'm telling you I when I'm creating these games, one
of the things at the forefront of my mind is
what will piss off Craig the most, because that's the
most entertaining part of this podcast is pissed off Craig
during the games.

Speaker 3 (47:03):
I'm going to go back to the will in Sigano.

Speaker 2 (47:06):
I honestly don't know if you lost that many games.

Speaker 3 (47:08):
I can't remember.

Speaker 6 (47:09):
Yeah, he's one of like I was thinking of the oels,
he is the one that stuck around.

Speaker 1 (47:12):
There's got to be one of the nationalists, right who
that's but not they traded Soroka, he was bad? Who
else was in this rotation aside from Gore, like Brad Lord,
But I don't think I don't remember who's in the rotation.
That's that's the problem here. Okay, So I have one
more yes.

Speaker 2 (47:34):
Man, that's oh alights?

Speaker 3 (47:38):
Yeah, yeah, let's go with Mitch Keller.

Speaker 2 (47:42):
All right. So Craig got was that five?

Speaker 3 (47:48):
Yeah, okay, I'll take it.

Speaker 2 (47:52):
Craig got twenty four points, so sounds rad Pa get thirty,
Patrick get thirty nine, Jeffrey at twenty six, Craig at
twenty four. Answers singles Top five most singles one, Luis
Aries two, Nico Horner three.

Speaker 5 (48:10):
So I almost said Xavier Edwards and then I said,
don't do Xavier Edwards.

Speaker 2 (48:14):
I did not almost four four Stephen Kwan five Trade Turner.

Speaker 3 (48:18):
Oh, I said Kwan, and then I said he wasn't
that good.

Speaker 5 (48:21):
So I got like half my points in that category.

Speaker 2 (48:23):
Really is just aside from a rise, just like speedy
contact guys. Yeah, okay, sure, doubles one Bobby wit Junior
to Boba Schett three, Matt Olsen four, Pete Alonso five,
Jared Duran.

Speaker 3 (48:37):
Okay, yeah, it all makes sense. That's allowed single.

Speaker 2 (48:40):
One. Yeah, So during Hits Aloud, Craig said that this
I was doing some white sox something I wasn't, but
I was doing something relevant to this podcast. One was
Logan Web two Brandon Fott.

Speaker 4 (48:50):
Oh, I thought it on Logan Web two and good
this year.

Speaker 2 (48:56):
But he did throw a lot, Yes, he always does.

Speaker 4 (48:59):
Three.

Speaker 2 (49:00):
Three Jake Irvin for Kyle Freeland.

Speaker 3 (49:03):
Jake Irvin, Goda who was after.

Speaker 2 (49:06):
Sorry for Kyle Freeland. Five Antonio Senzatela.

Speaker 3 (49:09):
Freeland and I said marquees instead of free.

Speaker 2 (49:13):
Brown into double play one Junior Cameronaro, two, Pete Alonzo,
three Jose l Twove, four Carlos Correa and five. The
least the answer I would have at least expected you
to get in any of these is Trevor Larnak right
on the Yeah, into some double plays, guys. Yeah. The
The kind of little quirk about losses is there was

(49:35):
actually nine possible answers because six guys tied for fourth
place and losses one Kyle Freeland, two, Herman Marquez, three
Mitchell Parker another national and tied for fourth. We had
Antonio Senzatela, We had Jack Flaherty, Mitch Keller, a couple.

(49:56):
You got Zach Gallon, Mackenzie Gore, oh and Andre Polante.

Speaker 4 (50:04):
Sure, okay, sense to telis it started twenty three games?

Speaker 5 (50:07):
Yeah, he lost him out of the pen too.

Speaker 2 (50:11):
I imagine.

Speaker 3 (50:13):
If I had simply said Kyle Freeland instead of her
Martin Marquez every time.

Speaker 2 (50:17):
Yeah, exactly, I just did both.

Speaker 4 (50:19):
I did both. That's for everything.

Speaker 3 (50:21):
Well what I did Marquez and sense Tella everything.

Speaker 5 (50:26):
I mean, your main issue is not remembering who pitched
for the.

Speaker 2 (50:28):
Nationals to share apparently, But I was right. Brad Lord
wasn't up there. Yes, he's too good.

Speaker 3 (50:33):
He was way too good.

Speaker 2 (50:35):
It was funny when you guys would just say Nationals
for these two categories and you'd guess Parker when it
was all right, the next game is who he played for? Boy?

Speaker 5 (50:51):
Oh boy? All right?

Speaker 2 (50:53):
I have ten names.

Speaker 5 (50:55):
Quicker theoretically, yes, this should go quicker.

Speaker 4 (50:57):
All right, make Craig go first this time?

Speaker 2 (50:59):
All right, Canine first? Mm hmm, all right. These are
you know, I don't know if guys get cut or
whatever at the end of the minor league season. These
are guys who played for this team as of the
end of the regular season. And I'm hoping this isn't
a repeat of any of the Okay, all right? Who

(51:24):
he played for? Eloy him and Az?

Speaker 1 (51:27):
Oh god, where did he end up? He got cut
from Baltimore. I don't know where he ended up.

Speaker 2 (51:40):
Tampa. No, that's wrong.

Speaker 3 (51:43):
It's gonna kill me because I've seen it, but I
don't remember. I'm gonna say Tampa.

Speaker 2 (51:48):
You're saying Tampa.

Speaker 1 (51:48):
You said, yeah, I'm saying Tampa. Okay, we're trying to
I'm trying. I'm trying to move it.

Speaker 2 (51:52):
Yeah, all right, Corey Jolks. Oh, I thought he was
with the White Sox. I'm gonna go no what Yeah, yeah,
White Sox. Tim Lecastro, Tim Lacastro is not playing trick question?

Speaker 3 (52:11):
Is he seriously still playing?

Speaker 2 (52:12):
He was on a roster when I looked at roster, jesus,
I don't.

Speaker 1 (52:18):
The last one I remember, I guess was the Yankees.
Did he he went from the Diamondbacks of the Yankees?
I'll say the Yankees?

Speaker 3 (52:23):
I don't know, did not know he was still playing?

Speaker 2 (52:27):
Uh Sandy Leon? Oh?

Speaker 3 (52:30):
Shoot?

Speaker 2 (52:35):
Who? Who who did he come up for? I saw this.

Speaker 3 (52:41):
At the end of the season.

Speaker 2 (52:43):
Is it like Miami? Who did he I'm gonna I'm gonna.

Speaker 1 (52:50):
Say Miami, but I don't feel good about it. But
I saw him come up at the end of the season.

Speaker 2 (52:54):
Okay, Nick Solak, Oh.

Speaker 1 (52:58):
Shit, I think Patrick knows this too. That's gonna piss
me off. He's he somehow has a beat on Nick
Solac because he's on like some triple A roster.

Speaker 5 (53:08):
Is he? Uh?

Speaker 3 (53:09):
San Francisco? Let me say San Francisco?

Speaker 2 (53:13):
Okay? Austin Gomber okay, oh man, I did.

Speaker 1 (53:20):
I absolutely lost track of him when he went to
the to the when he got cut from the Rockies.

Speaker 3 (53:26):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (53:26):
He feels like a twenty twenty six Nationals arm Okay,
let's say Nationals.

Speaker 3 (53:30):
It's wrong.

Speaker 2 (53:31):
Probably would have been their number two starter. Buck Farmer.

Speaker 3 (53:36):
Oh jeez, where did he pop up? Toronto? I'm gonna
say Toronto. These are I'm gonna go over on this.

Speaker 2 (53:48):
Colin, Uh have you gone off for? Uh? You have
not gone off for? Okay? John Brebia Joh, I didn't
know he was still Uh Braves? They signed everybody that's
MONI Grandal Pirates right? I think Pirates last one? H

(54:14):
thomaso oh man? Oh shoot again? This like vaguely rings
a bell Thomas.

Speaker 3 (54:25):
Where did he end up? I was hoping you were
gonna give me like a gimme, like Jorge Alfaro, like.

Speaker 2 (54:33):
Thomas. I literally just scanned the Triple A rosters from
names I recognize.

Speaker 3 (54:38):
Oh, well, that's the problem. Or Alfara was in the majors.

Speaker 2 (54:42):
Some of these guys played in the majors this year. Also,
I just went at the end of the season, Thomas.

Speaker 1 (54:47):
Oh, I feel like I saw his name, like, you know,
he went up and down with the team. Sorry one, hi,
I don't know what's that.

Speaker 2 (55:05):
Let's say the Angels Angels. Okay, that's right, but this,
good guess is any feels right? All right, Let's get
Jeffrey or Patrick. Jeffrey is gonna go next? All right,
Craig got one out of ten.

Speaker 3 (55:25):
I felt like I was shut out, So good luck.

Speaker 2 (55:30):
All right, Jeffrey uh, Eloy Jimenez.

Speaker 1 (55:37):
Jeff Jeff's eyes just like deer in the headlights, which
is the correct response.

Speaker 5 (55:45):
Washington Nationals.

Speaker 2 (55:47):
Okay, Corey Jolks.

Speaker 5 (55:53):
It's the last major league tam he played for this year.

Speaker 2 (55:55):
No, it's just what org is he with?

Speaker 5 (55:58):
What is he with right now?

Speaker 2 (55:59):
Yeah? So as at the end of the regular season.

Speaker 4 (56:01):
Of the yeah.

Speaker 5 (56:05):
Wrist Yeah, Cincinnati Reds.

Speaker 2 (56:14):
Okay them the Castro, I said, not in baseball?

Speaker 5 (56:20):
The Kayoum Heroes, Seattle Mariners okay, Sandy Leon Uh, Atlanta Braves. Okay, Craig,
you missed this one last time, I know, was the
last time.

Speaker 2 (56:39):
I said, like, there's gonna be some There's gonna be
some repeats.

Speaker 3 (56:43):
I hope it's a lam Okay, I couldn't. That's exactly
you're yeah, you got.

Speaker 2 (56:50):
I was like, there's probably gonna be some repeats. But
also what Craig not gonna remember? Yes, I'm all right? Uh?
Nickle Wow?

Speaker 5 (57:03):
Uh Marlins, Austin Gomber. Where do you go after leaving
the Rockies? Minnesota Twins?

Speaker 2 (57:19):
Okay, Buck Farmer again, would.

Speaker 5 (57:22):
Not have guessed he's in still in We're a nice
baseball Uh Okay, Texas Rangers Okay, John Breba, Kansas City Royals, Yes,

(57:44):
MANI Grandal, somebody I do remember that. Somebody picked him up.
No idea how because the Padres did this from al Donado.
So I don't think what's on with Grundal too feels

(58:11):
the Arizona Diamondbacks song as Arizona Diamondbacks, even though I
know they had.

Speaker 2 (58:16):
The last one. Uh Thomas Nido.

Speaker 5 (58:21):
I just want I should know he was like on
his It was on the field and one of the
playoff celebrations.

Speaker 2 (58:29):
So who is it for? Mmm Tigers? I think Okay, Jeffrey,
you got two?

Speaker 5 (58:37):
Yes, just finish one spot ahead of Craig every game.

Speaker 2 (58:42):
Ye, not that hard.

Speaker 5 (58:46):
Yeah, Patrick's attention can be got.

Speaker 4 (58:53):
Hey, you guys jump on so quickly after the hand room.

Speaker 2 (58:57):
All right, Patrick, you have out of ten guesses you have,
you have to be two to one. Yeah, Pat, Jeffrey
got to Craig got one?

Speaker 4 (59:05):
Okay, all right?

Speaker 2 (59:06):
Who Elloy Jim Elloy him Menez.

Speaker 4 (59:12):
Oh boy, I was actually looking at this. Where did
he wind up? He signed with somebody.

Speaker 2 (59:18):
I want to say, annual editors would be good at
this because you got all these obscure players.

Speaker 6 (59:23):
Yeah, this is a guy that we did not put
in the book, but that I looked at to maybe
put in the book.

Speaker 4 (59:28):
I know he signed.

Speaker 2 (59:29):
To comment from him later, just let me know, I'll.

Speaker 3 (59:31):
Write, I looked this up in the meantime and I
remember seeing this.

Speaker 2 (59:36):
You know it Just.

Speaker 4 (59:38):
Yeah, I'm gonna say, let's see. I want to say
it was I'm gonna say the Rays, Okay, Corey's it
was the beginning, Corey Julks h White.

Speaker 2 (01:00:01):
Sox Okay, Tim Lya Castro, I'm sorry, who is it?
Tim le Castro?

Speaker 4 (01:00:10):
Castro? Wow, the sab Lions. I don't know. I'm gonna
say the Yankees, but because that's the last I remember it.

Speaker 2 (01:00:21):
Think, uh, Sandy Leon, Oh no, he's.

Speaker 4 (01:00:26):
Oh no, this is.

Speaker 5 (01:00:30):
Patrick. You know you didn't make this game technically.

Speaker 6 (01:00:35):
Because like I know, I've seen this and I know
I know that I think I almost ironically put it
in around the horn, but I don't remember which team
it was for. I'm gonna say the Braves, and I
think it's wrong.

Speaker 2 (01:00:48):
Okay, Nick Solak, No, this is the game I should be.

Speaker 1 (01:00:55):
Good at, and I think i'm almost I'm gonna put
some pressure on you. Patrick secifically said, I think Patrick
is going.

Speaker 2 (01:01:01):
To know where Nick.

Speaker 4 (01:01:02):
I remember looking at him. I remember looking at him.

Speaker 5 (01:01:07):
I think there are some things you just don't commit
to memory.

Speaker 2 (01:01:09):
I think he played for like four teams this year.

Speaker 4 (01:01:12):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, let me see.

Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
I'm I'm surprised Garrett Hampson wasn't in here.

Speaker 5 (01:01:20):
I'm not entirely sure. I know the last team he
played for, Cardinals, right, Yeah, I don't know if somebody
else picked him up after that.

Speaker 4 (01:01:30):
Yeah, I'm going to say the Royals for Nick Solak.
He feels like.

Speaker 2 (01:01:34):
Austin Gomber gomb Oh no, no he didn't get no, no, no,
he did not get picked up.

Speaker 4 (01:01:42):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 6 (01:01:43):
There's no way he got cut by the Rockies and
he instantly just boiled into the atmosphere, banished without it.

Speaker 4 (01:01:51):
There's no way, no way. I know. I think my.

Speaker 6 (01:01:56):
Chances are being right, are better than anyone else. I'm
gonna say the Rockies, and I'm going to assume that
that's just the last team you played for.

Speaker 2 (01:02:02):
Lefties never Die.

Speaker 5 (01:02:03):
Oh my god, I just looked up who it was.

Speaker 2 (01:02:05):
I need to Buck Farmer, Buck Farmer.

Speaker 4 (01:02:12):
Last I saw of him was the Braves. I'm gonna
say the Braves.

Speaker 5 (01:02:15):
Still, it's always a good guest for that kind of
reliever that you thought was out of baseball.

Speaker 2 (01:02:19):
John Brebia.

Speaker 4 (01:02:25):
Royals. Again, that's what I.

Speaker 5 (01:02:27):
Just blind gas John Brebbia Royals, GASMANI Grandal.

Speaker 4 (01:02:32):
Oh oh.

Speaker 2 (01:02:35):
Oh ah.

Speaker 6 (01:02:40):
I it feels like it's most on brand for Grendal
to have signed with a team that could not possibly
have played him. I'm gonna say, I'm gonna say the Cardinals.

Speaker 2 (01:02:54):
Mkay, last one Thomas Nido. Oh boy, very catcher centric game.

Speaker 4 (01:03:04):
Yeah, yeah, that makes sense. I don't have a strong
vibe Anito at all. I don't. I don't have any sense.
I'm gonna say the Diamondbacks.

Speaker 2 (01:03:18):
Okay, congratulations to Patrick and Jeffrey, who tied with two
corect answers here if you didn't already look up most
of them, eloy him and as Blue Jays. Oh, Corey
Jalk's White Sox them le Castro Padres.

Speaker 3 (01:03:36):
That was the one I got.

Speaker 4 (01:03:39):
They could have just cut it.

Speaker 2 (01:03:41):
Le Castro Padres, Leon Braves. Nick Solak is with the
Pirates now, Austin Gombers with the Cubs.

Speaker 3 (01:03:47):
Yeah, he feels like Nationals.

Speaker 2 (01:03:51):
Buck Farmer, Reds Brebia and Grondal both Red Sox.

Speaker 1 (01:03:56):
I'm I'm honestly mad about Buck Farmer. I knew he
was with the Red but I apciate. Yeah, I thought
I thought he went to the Braves afterwards, went somewhere else.

Speaker 2 (01:04:04):
And then someone said that they pictured Thomas Nido celebrating
during one of the on field playoff celebrations and there
is he's with the Tigers.

Speaker 4 (01:04:11):
Yeah, that was Jeffrey.

Speaker 3 (01:04:13):
All right, should we take up a break?

Speaker 5 (01:04:16):
Yeah, let's take a break.

Speaker 4 (01:04:17):
We'll be back a couple of days. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:04:42):
Welcome back to episode five hundred, the All Games episode
of five and five.

Speaker 3 (01:04:46):
We have done three of our five games, I.

Speaker 2 (01:04:50):
Believe, uh, or at least our scheduled five games.

Speaker 3 (01:04:53):
There was a rumored bonus one.

Speaker 4 (01:04:54):
I don't know if we uh, it may not happen.

Speaker 2 (01:04:57):
It may not happen, for if.

Speaker 3 (01:04:58):
I take up too much debt A colin the floor
is back to you, all right?

Speaker 2 (01:05:04):
This next game is one that I think you guys
have only done via reader submission. But I really liked it,
so I tried to come up with some more answers.
It's positional plurality. Give you a list of players. You
have to say what position he played the most of
I hope there are not repeats from the last game,
but my brain is broken, so there possibly are, And
even if they are, there's no guarantee you guys will remember.

Speaker 5 (01:05:24):
So specifically correct and this, oh yes, and this.

Speaker 1 (01:05:28):
Is I believe left, right and center are distinct positions. Right,
We can't just say outfield?

Speaker 4 (01:05:33):
Correct and yeah, I think I Well, I.

Speaker 3 (01:05:35):
Guess Colin, how did you do it?

Speaker 2 (01:05:37):
I couldn't Patrick, I I couldn't remember. I just gave
outfield as a position. Maybe makes it a little easier.
There's only maybe people that that really applies to anyway.

Speaker 4 (01:05:48):
So I'll go first, so you guys have to worry
about trying it.

Speaker 2 (01:05:53):
Patrick is in first place overall, so he can go first,
all right? For up is Tony womack.

Speaker 6 (01:06:03):
Ooh uh, I'm gonna say shortstop because I'm going to like,
that's what I learned from and they're not listening.

Speaker 4 (01:06:13):
So this is what I learned from this game is that.

Speaker 6 (01:06:15):
Players who played shortstop played shortstop longer than you think
because that was the only way they could get on
the field.

Speaker 4 (01:06:21):
So I'm gonna say shortstop, Okay, Marco Scudro, that's not true.

Speaker 2 (01:06:25):
For Marcus scuter.

Speaker 6 (01:06:28):
I'm gonna go with second base for Scutero. That's what
I think of, right. The problem is that like this
is we we are hitting peek be playing fantasy. Yeah,
which means that I cared more about their eligibility for
a position than whether they actually played it a lot.
So Scootero probably did not play a ton of second base.
But he counted there, and that's all I cared about.

Speaker 2 (01:06:45):
As someone who is counting the game's Raphael Devers played
at first base at the end last season. I totally
get it all right. Next up, Benzobrist, Oh oh, that
feels fair.

Speaker 6 (01:06:59):
I'm gonna say second base for him as well. It's
just where I instantly think of.

Speaker 2 (01:07:04):
Okay, Alfonso Soriano.

Speaker 6 (01:07:09):
Oh hmm, yeah, yeah, yeah, you know, and my you know,
I always link Alfonso Soriano to D'Angelo Jimenez and so
naturally as we all do.

Speaker 4 (01:07:24):
And so I'm like, oh, did Dangela bhim and is
block him at second base too much? I will I'm
gonna I this one really begs for outfield, and I'm
gonna go against it and say second base again.

Speaker 2 (01:07:39):
Okay, hi Doki met sui? Oh dh is a positions
That's what?

Speaker 4 (01:07:50):
Yeah, I guess. So I'm gonna say outfield. I'm gonna
say he played more outfield, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:07:57):
Miguel Cabrera oh oh oh.

Speaker 4 (01:08:04):
Uh, I'm gonna go with my girl. Career is a
good one. That's a very good one. How many years
did he even play for the Marlins? I I'm gonna
say first base. That's the chalk answer.

Speaker 2 (01:08:22):
Frank Thomas.

Speaker 6 (01:08:24):
Frank Thomas, h Mmm, I'm gonna I'm gonna go with
first base for him.

Speaker 2 (01:08:35):
Okay, two left, Placido Polanco, Uh wow.

Speaker 6 (01:08:42):
Uh he played all of them at the same time. Yeah,
I'm gonna go with the third for Planco.

Speaker 2 (01:08:50):
Okay, and this is my favorite entry in this game.
Marwin Gonzales Mmm hmmm.

Speaker 6 (01:08:58):
We're back at that shortstop rule, and so I'm gonna
stick to it. I'm gonna say shortstop. I think he
was a bad shortstop and I think that's what people
remember for. But I think he played a lot of
shortstop to get bad at it.

Speaker 4 (01:09:11):
We'll see how it goes. No, No, I just want
to know cry phones on.

Speaker 2 (01:09:14):
That was fast.

Speaker 4 (01:09:16):
That was along there. It was vibes based. We were
done in five minutes. Great, great job me I won.
Even if I don't win this, I agree.

Speaker 2 (01:09:25):
All right, let's get one of them bad, all right,
and Craig response first. It is Craig all right. Out
of a possible nine, Patrick got four. M hm.

Speaker 4 (01:09:39):
That's not good. There should have been point flips.

Speaker 2 (01:09:43):
You talk, you talked, you myself, your verse psychology yourself
a couple of times. All right, Craig first up again,
as a reminder, outfield is a position you don't need
to field.

Speaker 3 (01:09:57):
I was just talking on you.

Speaker 1 (01:09:57):
I had said four and nine felt pretty good to me.
Bat I got one out of ten on the last one.

Speaker 4 (01:10:01):
I mean, this is this is a real like there's
not a lot of players where it's like four choices.

Speaker 2 (01:10:05):
So yeah, it feels like you should be getting half
a lot of It's fifty to fifty, that's true. Uh yeah,
So outfield is one full position, and dh is also
a position. First up, Tony Womack.

Speaker 3 (01:10:18):
Ooh okay, Uh yeah, it's like second base or outfield right?

Speaker 2 (01:10:22):
Uh, second base okay, Marco Scuderau second base, okay, Ben
zobrist Ooh, that's.

Speaker 3 (01:10:37):
An interesting one. I'm gonna say outfield by the end.

Speaker 2 (01:10:39):
Okay, Alfonso Soriano had to did it have to be outfield?

Speaker 3 (01:10:46):
I had to had to be outfield? Outfield?

Speaker 2 (01:10:48):
Okay, Adki Matsui dh okay. Miguel Cabrera ooh ooh that
is intriguing.

Speaker 3 (01:11:03):
It's a lot of years that he played first for
so long though. I first, I'm gonna say first.

Speaker 2 (01:11:12):
Okay, Frank Thomas.

Speaker 3 (01:11:16):
No, no, had to be DH.

Speaker 2 (01:11:18):
He did.

Speaker 3 (01:11:19):
He He's one I always trip up on. I'm gonna
see DH.

Speaker 2 (01:11:23):
Okay, Placido Polanco man. I remember him as a third baseman.
I'll just go third base. That's how I remember. Okay,
last one, Marwing Gonzalez.

Speaker 3 (01:11:38):
Ooh, that's a that's a guy who really moved around.
He played all over.

Speaker 2 (01:11:52):
That's weird. He was like shortstop first outfield Mike Morse
coded but also so different. Marmon Gonzalez. What did he
end up playing the most? I'm I'm gonna say shortstop.
I don't feel good about it though. Okay, congratulations Craig.

(01:12:13):
That last one broke the tie. You have five. You
got five out of nine.

Speaker 4 (01:12:16):
Oh yeah, you picked a lot of the ones I
didn't pick, and that seemed like bad.

Speaker 5 (01:12:19):
Yeah, yeah for me.

Speaker 2 (01:12:24):
All right, Jeffrey, you back on. Yeah, all right, you
have to beat five of nine. You have to beat
four of nine to not get last place. All right,
First up, Tony Womack. As a reminder, outfield is one
position and d H is also a position.

Speaker 5 (01:12:41):
Yeah, yeah, you know, I thought like it's the fun Well,
like I said, I should just have a cocktail during it.
But it's like, also, ten am out here, so I
can do that. So here, I am stone cold, sober,
trying to figure out we're second base, second base, second base?

Speaker 2 (01:13:01):
Okay, Marco Scutero, Oh.

Speaker 5 (01:13:06):
Marco scuoteroo played everywhere. I'm gonna say second base again.
We do the Craig first face up for second base.

Speaker 2 (01:13:15):
All right, Ben's Obrist.

Speaker 5 (01:13:20):
Outfield. I think you played more outfield by the end.

Speaker 2 (01:13:23):
Okay, Alfonso Soriano.

Speaker 5 (01:13:26):
Outfield.

Speaker 2 (01:13:27):
Okay, Deki met Sui.

Speaker 3 (01:13:33):
D h F and I have given the exact same answer.

Speaker 5 (01:13:37):
It's not good because I need to beat Patrick.

Speaker 4 (01:13:39):
I assume no, no, you don't.

Speaker 5 (01:13:41):
Oh, I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:13:42):
Okay, Miguel Cabrera, that's a good one. All three of
you have. That's been your exact reaction. That makes me
feel good. They played him at third a long time.
I'm gonna say third base, Frank Thomas d h Okay,

(01:14:07):
Placido Polanco one of my one of my all time
favorite players. Same and go second base again? Okay, last one,
Marwin Gonzales, Yeah, okay, fine, uh not one of your
favorite no, no, no, one's favorite player third base? Why not?

(01:14:30):
All right? You tied with Patrick got four points. You
could have gotten the last one to tie Craig, but
Craig wins the game five to four to four. Correct answers.
Tony Womack second base. Craig and Jeffrey got that one.
Marco Scutero, wait, where are my notes here? Tony one
Max second base five twenty nine to five sixteen. It

(01:14:50):
was close. Marco Scudo shortstop, thought about six ben Zobras
second base nine to eleven to six six one close wow.
Alfonso Soriano outfield seven sixty six, Decki Matsui outfield six

(01:15:10):
ninety two to five ninety three. Miguel Cabrera first base,
That one was not close eleven ninety six, third base
was second at six ninety seven. Then DH five forty eight,
Frank Thomas DH thirteen ten to nine seventy one. I
didn't realize it was that close. Yeah, wow, okay, uh.
Placido Polanco second base ten twenty seven to third base

(01:15:32):
being seven to fifty one. And Marvin Gonzalez was my
favorite person to put on here shortstop four shortstop three
twenty four outfield.

Speaker 5 (01:15:41):
I never would have guess shorts off. I didn't go
third base.

Speaker 2 (01:15:46):
I got it right, shortstop three twenty four, outfield two
seventy six, first base fifty seven is a shortstop.

Speaker 3 (01:15:54):
It was so bad that you can't he played.

Speaker 2 (01:15:56):
Five positions between one hundred and seventy five and three
hundred and twenty.

Speaker 5 (01:15:59):
Sure, that's fine. I'm not saying to say he never
played shortstop. I'm just I do not think.

Speaker 3 (01:16:04):
Astros ran them out there a lot.

Speaker 2 (01:16:06):
Yeah, yeah, he was just like that.

Speaker 3 (01:16:12):
He was never the first plan. Yeah, Wade, I mean,
I guess not that much three hundred something games, but
like enough Yeah yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:16:21):
Also, I was wrong at the beginning about all of
these games being phone booth games. This last game is
not good. This one was a is submitted, was created
by someone not me. Uh the email is a JP.
I believe that's Alec Alec Perry. Yes, so thank you.
This is a really good game. I looked through all

(01:16:42):
of them. I really liked this one. It's a it's
a whammy game so that you guys try to not
hit the wammy here and related.

Speaker 5 (01:16:50):
How it's going to work with three of us, I
guess we just go around.

Speaker 2 (01:16:53):
Like. All of these categories are related to the twenty
twenty five seasons, specifically, okay, we can go and order.
Let me actually let me add the points.

Speaker 4 (01:17:07):
Six.

Speaker 2 (01:17:11):
Yeah. So currently Patrick is in first place, Jeffreys and second,
Craig is in third.

Speaker 1 (01:17:16):
Are you just doing straight points? Yeah, that's always okay. Well,
Patrick got thirty nine on one game, which.

Speaker 3 (01:17:23):
Is more than.

Speaker 4 (01:17:25):
You should have shown up for the important one.

Speaker 2 (01:17:27):
You're you're you're right, it should have been rounds one
or because it's been we have all.

Speaker 4 (01:17:32):
Technically if you want to, we have each technically two rounds.
So if anyone wins this round there.

Speaker 2 (01:17:40):
I was just thinking for turn order of this game,
are we determine that that.

Speaker 3 (01:17:46):
Doesn't result?

Speaker 2 (01:17:48):
Craig can hit the whammy first, It's fine.

Speaker 4 (01:17:51):
Craig goes first, Jeff goes second, third. The first person
to state those names.

Speaker 2 (01:17:55):
Craig, Jeff Patrick. Oh, I'll send these names into the
chat to right them in front of you.

Speaker 4 (01:18:01):
All right.

Speaker 2 (01:18:01):
These are all except one pitchers who recorded five or
more saves in twenty twenty five.

Speaker 5 (01:18:08):
Oh nice, not nice, but nice.

Speaker 2 (01:18:12):
The names are oh yeah, wow, all right. So the
names are Andrew Kittridge, Seth Halverson, Tommy Kinley, Randy Rodriguez,
Alex Vesia, Ronnie Henriquez Tony Santian, Victor Vodnik, and Grant Taylor.
What a list of names. Yeah, this is a great game, Alex,

(01:18:36):
thank you and also.

Speaker 3 (01:18:37):
Fuck you for putting two Rockies.

Speaker 2 (01:18:43):
Alright, avoid, I might just do it straight off the top.

Speaker 3 (01:18:46):
I really this is this is gonna be ugly.

Speaker 2 (01:18:48):
No, I know someone I know? Do I know? Do
I actually know all five? All of these categories. I
think someone could potentially hit the waand me with their first.

Speaker 4 (01:19:01):
Yeah, we prove and we can hit the way with
our first.

Speaker 1 (01:19:04):
Guess I'm gonna give away some for if I don't
pick him.

Speaker 2 (01:19:08):
No, okay, So I'm gonna try and not talk this
through hard for you.

Speaker 4 (01:19:13):
I know, it's the podcast to be sure our thoughts.

Speaker 3 (01:19:19):
Screw it, Tommy Cainley.

Speaker 2 (01:19:21):
Tommy Cainley is correct. He had nine saves.

Speaker 5 (01:19:25):
I would not have gone for.

Speaker 2 (01:19:27):
I would not have gone the guy I wanted to avoid.

Speaker 5 (01:19:31):
M Victor Vodnick.

Speaker 2 (01:19:35):
Victor Vodnik had ten saves, Thank god.

Speaker 4 (01:19:39):
Andrew Kittridge.

Speaker 2 (01:19:40):
Andrew Kittridge had five saves.

Speaker 3 (01:19:42):
That is That's honestly who I was gonna go with first,
because I knew he was closing.

Speaker 4 (01:19:45):
Yeah, just long enough.

Speaker 2 (01:19:49):
So it's back to me. Yes, man, I okay, I
think how much Bessie geez man, this is this is ugly.
It's now ugly.

Speaker 6 (01:20:08):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:20:11):
I'm gonna go with Randy Rodriguez. Randy Rodriguez got four saves.
I knew he was there because they made immediately got hurt.

Speaker 3 (01:20:20):
It felt like I knew he made him closer and.

Speaker 5 (01:20:24):
Half, but then he got hurt.

Speaker 2 (01:20:26):
Kidtridge five, Halverson eleven, Kinley nine, Vessia five, Henriquez and
Santian both seven ten, Grant Taylor.

Speaker 3 (01:20:34):
I'm sorry two Rockies got double digits. They didn't win
that many games.

Speaker 2 (01:20:39):
They were all close games. Okay, all right, this next
category is even blew out. I was about to save
and changed my mind because I I These are all
pictures with a K percentage north of twenty five percent
minimum forty ginnings except the one the pictures. The pictures

(01:21:03):
are Louis Arlanday, George Kirby, Logan Webb, Justin Robleski, Chad Patrick,
Joey Cantillo, Ian Seymour, and Michael Soroka.

Speaker 4 (01:21:13):
God bless you for putting Chad Patrick.

Speaker 2 (01:21:16):
Since since Craig lost, we will say we say.

Speaker 4 (01:21:18):
No, we just rotate this Jeff, Jeff is Jeff is first.

Speaker 5 (01:21:27):
There there are ones here that look like more layups
than the others, but I don't feel great about any
of them.

Speaker 3 (01:21:34):
So this is over twenty percent.

Speaker 5 (01:21:37):
Yeah, I'm gonna say Louis Arland.

Speaker 2 (01:21:40):
Louis Arland is correct.

Speaker 3 (01:21:43):
That was right.

Speaker 2 (01:21:44):
No, I did like it, but I didn't.

Speaker 5 (01:21:46):
Yeah, I was wondering if I was only looking at
Louis Arland. I see him throw one hundred a bunch now,
like it's like a recency bias thing.

Speaker 2 (01:21:53):
All right.

Speaker 6 (01:21:54):
If Soroka is the trap, then congratulations, because I'm picking
Michael Croka.

Speaker 2 (01:21:57):
Soroca is correct. Justin, rob Justin Robusky is correct.

Speaker 3 (01:22:04):
Oh god, guy has a sixty five d R. I know,
but like he had to, I think.

Speaker 2 (01:22:20):
Like a strong like look, you know, Robbie Ray. Robbie
Ray is the whammy.

Speaker 3 (01:22:25):
Yeah, I thought it was going to be Logan Webb.
I thought it was gonna be one of those like.

Speaker 5 (01:22:30):
I thought the Web the whammy, that's going to be
Chad Patrick.

Speaker 2 (01:22:33):
So Robbie Ray had a K percentage of twenty four points.

Speaker 5 (01:22:36):
I walked into it knowing it's fine.

Speaker 3 (01:22:40):
Logan Webb had we all know he started striking guys
out this year was still going to be.

Speaker 4 (01:22:46):
But yeah, the bar was so high.

Speaker 2 (01:22:48):
Yeah, all right, This next one is probably equally frustrating.
It is hitter k percentage of less than sixteen percent
among qualified.

Speaker 4 (01:22:59):
Batter avoiding strikeouts.

Speaker 2 (01:23:01):
Alright, avoiding strikeouts. Your names are Ozzy Alb's, salth Frelick,
Josh Naylor, Lordis Guriel Junior, Alec Burlson, Chase my Draft,
Brice and Scott, Jorge Polanco and Kyle Tucker Mariners bullshit.

Speaker 6 (01:23:15):
Yeah, and also and I have no strong feeling, but boy,
this is like, imagine having an opinion on Chase may draft.

Speaker 4 (01:23:25):
Imagine thinking I've had to have several over the years.

Speaker 1 (01:23:30):
So no, no, no, really, ugly, you had strong opinions
about Ozzie Alb's Patrick.

Speaker 4 (01:23:38):
Well, did I during.

Speaker 5 (01:23:41):
Such a bullshit number?

Speaker 4 (01:23:44):
I'm I'm gonna go ahead. But it's not like, yeah,
I'm boy, I'm gonna say, Guria call is.

Speaker 5 (01:23:52):
My first pick?

Speaker 3 (01:23:55):
You really played?

Speaker 2 (01:23:56):
Oh so I'm up, I'm gonna say Josh Naylor, Josh
Naylor's correct. H.

Speaker 3 (01:24:05):
So many of these feel like traps its.

Speaker 5 (01:24:08):
They there's the ones that I feel like it's like
there's like double traps, so like they wouldn't be on
here if they weren't always already under because he's like that.
I don't think he's under. So that I talked myself
into like, yeah, so if.

Speaker 1 (01:24:24):
You if you want to think I have a I
have a related thing I can I can say while
you're thinking, I was, I.

Speaker 3 (01:24:30):
Was editing a Nolan Aeronato annual comment. Yeah, and I
saw his his uh strikeout rate in it, and I
like that we had.

Speaker 1 (01:24:41):
There was a glitch with our twenty twenty five stats
in the in the annual CMS like that got fixed,
but it made me think, oh, no, there's something still wrong.

Speaker 3 (01:24:54):
Do you any of you have any idea what that
rate was.

Speaker 4 (01:24:58):
I would guess it's something like thirty thirty two.

Speaker 2 (01:25:03):
It's north of sixteen percent. Yeah, I'm going to pull
maybe there is a glitch. Actually I didn't check it
on on look.

Speaker 5 (01:25:11):
There's no answer.

Speaker 2 (01:25:11):
I'm gonna feel good about here.

Speaker 1 (01:25:12):
No, okay, it eleven point two percent? Really, oh, Dolan
Aeronado eleven point two percent.

Speaker 5 (01:25:20):
There's no answer. I'm going to feel good about here.
So I'm just going to say as the Alb's.

Speaker 2 (01:25:24):
The Alb's is correct.

Speaker 5 (01:25:26):
We didn't have a good season, but he doesn't strike out.

Speaker 6 (01:25:28):
I'm gonna say south Relic self Relic is correct. That's
that's the one I wanted.

Speaker 5 (01:25:34):
Yeah, it felt like kind of smelled like a tramp
to me, like I could be just like seventy Well
it felt yeah, I agree, but he might straight yeah, which.

Speaker 2 (01:25:42):
Is also how I feel about Bryson Stott right now,
so there are four there are four left to pick from. Burlson.

Speaker 5 (01:25:49):
Wait five, yeah, it should be five. It's a bottom five.

Speaker 2 (01:25:52):
Burlson, my drath stop Polanko, Tucker, Man, I know Polanko
cut his rate significantly.

Speaker 5 (01:26:00):
Tucker feels like the fucking like worst.

Speaker 2 (01:26:03):
I'm gonna go with Polonko Planco is correct.

Speaker 4 (01:26:06):
Wow, how is that?

Speaker 2 (01:26:08):
Didn't he like strike out twenty fifteen percent? I know?

Speaker 3 (01:26:12):
But what was?

Speaker 4 (01:26:12):
What was last was last year? Because I feel like,
oh it.

Speaker 3 (01:26:16):
Was a way I cut it significantly.

Speaker 4 (01:26:18):
Yeah, I'm gonna go with Alec Burlson.

Speaker 2 (01:26:21):
Alec Burlson is correct.

Speaker 5 (01:26:24):
I'm actually after Craig but what oh yeah, sorry, it's fine.
I wasn't gonna take Alec Purlson.

Speaker 3 (01:26:30):
Okay, wow, magnanimous.

Speaker 6 (01:26:32):
Yeah, that's fine, christ I mean it's all risk on
my part, like yeah, yeah, so well until you get
it right.

Speaker 5 (01:26:43):
Right, so it's mayd rothsto. I mean I have a
one in three chance, you know, Yeah, yeah, I could
just major majors. Feels like he should be under but
he also isn't good.

Speaker 3 (01:26:58):
A complicated fact.

Speaker 2 (01:27:00):
He's like the second best player on the White Slex
this year.

Speaker 5 (01:27:02):
He isn't good.

Speaker 4 (01:27:04):
I know, Polanco struck out twenty nine percent last year.

Speaker 5 (01:27:08):
He did the thing where he started like swinging harder
and trying to pull the ball towards the end of
the season. And Kyle Tucker doesn't strike out a lot.
But I'm gonna Sayyle, I'm gonna say Kyle Tucker.

Speaker 2 (01:27:19):
Kyle Tucker is correct.

Speaker 4 (01:27:24):
So that's correct.

Speaker 3 (01:27:27):
It's versus if you get it right, they're both traps.

Speaker 1 (01:27:37):
Stott is a pretty good contact guy, but just right,
sixteen percent is bullshit.

Speaker 3 (01:27:44):
Yeah, I's like decent contact but works a lot of counts.

Speaker 1 (01:27:50):
Yeah, so like puts himself in into which like I
guess if he strikes out looking that's not a well
that's k percentage, right, So that's yeah, we're.

Speaker 3 (01:27:58):
Not doing with I had whiff.

Speaker 2 (01:27:59):
Yeah, yeah, ship, Oh this is such garbage. Chase chase
my dra is correct, huge win, well done, well done.

Speaker 5 (01:28:23):
Yeah, I would say, like Maydra and Scott with the
two I wanted to start with the two I want
to avoid.

Speaker 2 (01:28:27):
So yeah, all right, there are three three categories left.

Speaker 4 (01:28:31):
Oh good, so we each haven't even number being first. Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:28:36):
The next category is through at least one wild pitch.

Speaker 4 (01:28:42):
All right.

Speaker 2 (01:28:43):
Your names are Michael Waka, Kyle Freeland, Paul Skens, Jose Burrios,
Hunter Brown, Zach Lttel, Merrill, Kelly, Sonny Gray, and Logan Webb.
I start with Patrick Craig.

Speaker 4 (01:28:57):
Craig goes first, he goes first, and then Jeff and me.
We've looped around all right.

Speaker 1 (01:29:02):
I'm I'm gonna tell you like this, this just absolutely
feels like a complete toss up.

Speaker 5 (01:29:07):
Yeah, just name some names, some guys.

Speaker 3 (01:29:10):
Name some guys. Yeah, I'm gonna say Logan Web.

Speaker 4 (01:29:12):
Logan Web is correct, the most innings with which to throw.

Speaker 3 (01:29:16):
He's got the sinker and the change up right, like
he's gonna spike one of them.

Speaker 5 (01:29:21):
At some point. I'm going Paul Skis for the same Skeins.

Speaker 2 (01:29:25):
Is correct, and I'm gonna go with Brown is the
whammy honestly, like Zach Lttel was just I was you
pick him because all he does is throw strikes, but like, yeah, yeah,
he's the only guy. He actually the most of everyone
on this list was Littel. Burrios only threw one. Everyone

(01:29:46):
else through two also only through one. All right, two more?

Speaker 3 (01:29:50):
What a category? Category?

Speaker 2 (01:29:52):
A lot more straightforward, a lot less just throwing random
names out there and hope and you hit. This is
players who hit twenty or more home runs. Okay, your
names are Heraldo Perdomo, Josh Naylor, A Dooley Scarcia, Helio Ramos,
Spencer Steer, will your a Bray you, Lennin Sosa, Matt Maulner,
Wi contraras.

Speaker 5 (01:30:11):
I'm first on this one. Oh, I don't like this.

Speaker 2 (01:30:16):
Spencer Steer, Spencer Steers correct twenty one home runs.

Speaker 1 (01:30:21):
There are a lot of this is this is subtly
just like a great list because there are a lot
of names from the podcast.

Speaker 4 (01:30:27):
That floating through here. Well, I did have a terrible fantasy.
It feels like halfway through the season and I did draft.
Will you or Brad you want it?

Speaker 2 (01:30:37):
Wilear Bray you hit twenty two home runs.

Speaker 5 (01:30:40):
This feels like everyone here hastween seventeen and twenty four
home runs.

Speaker 2 (01:30:42):
And it's it's it's even more condensed than that.

Speaker 1 (01:30:48):
I don't want to spoil it because I feel like
I could get him around later, but I do. I
also feel like the most confidence I have, which is
gonna bite me, I know. But Lenny and Sosa'm I'm
like pretty positive had like twenty four homers or something
like that, Like he I think he led the White Sox.

Speaker 2 (01:31:08):
Did he lead the White Sox? I'm gonna say Lenny
and Sosa Lennin Sosa hit twenty two home runs twenty okay,
yeah it was. It was between him and Colson Montgomery
for the team lead, and I think I think Sosa yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:31:24):
Wilson Contreras.

Speaker 2 (01:31:26):
Wilson Contraras hit twenty home runs. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:31:30):
I can't believe all the way around, because I feel
like it was semi famous that he went twenty twenty.

Speaker 2 (01:31:34):
But Josh Naylor, Josh Naylor twenty home runs. Okay, Okay,
So I have per Domo, Garcia, Ramos and.

Speaker 6 (01:31:46):
Walner and Walner oh boy, yeah, Well Matt Walder didn't
play this year, which is incredible when you think.

Speaker 5 (01:31:54):
Yeah, yeah, I mean, nobody plaid attention to the twenties
for the last, like week.

Speaker 2 (01:32:01):
He got hot.

Speaker 3 (01:32:02):
The official sports stretches at that point.

Speaker 6 (01:32:05):
If you look on the Baseball reference page for the Twins,
it's just blank after a certain point.

Speaker 4 (01:32:08):
It's amazing.

Speaker 3 (01:32:09):
I'm gonna go with Heraldo.

Speaker 2 (01:32:12):
Hit twenty home runs. God, I hate this.

Speaker 5 (01:32:18):
Oh boy, so the Ramos, Garcia and Walner.

Speaker 2 (01:32:22):
Oh so that it can't come back to me? Yea, yeah,
if if we if we both get it right, you lose.

Speaker 3 (01:32:27):
I don't. I did not want to have to choose again.

Speaker 4 (01:32:31):
Wait yeah is that right?

Speaker 3 (01:32:33):
I think that's right. Whatever it does.

Speaker 4 (01:32:35):
Yes, this is this is game four, so yes, if
you if wait, no, it's game five.

Speaker 5 (01:32:40):
This is Game five, and no, this is game You're right,
it's Game five, so whatever, we'll figure it out.

Speaker 2 (01:32:46):
Yeah, there are three names left, and to keep more
people guessed before crack.

Speaker 5 (01:32:49):
So yes, well, anyway, I'm probably gonna get this wrong.

Speaker 1 (01:32:52):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (01:32:54):
All of these are like trap, trap, trap, because Ramos
didn't have a great year. It's a bad park. Garcia,
you missed a bunch of times. I feel I'm gonna
say Adelie Garcia.

Speaker 2 (01:33:04):
Garcia is the whammy. Yeah, I feel great and I
did like nineteen he got like Jeffrey said. Jeffrey said,
everyone on this list hit between seventeen and twenty four
home runs. Everyone on this list hit between nineteen and
twenty two home runs.

Speaker 6 (01:33:21):
I'm so glad I did not begin thinking about which
one I would pick. And I'm so glad that you
didn't force me to do that, because.

Speaker 5 (01:33:27):
I I should have gone Walner like I didn't feel great?

Speaker 1 (01:33:31):
Right, I mean again, nineteen to twenty two. This is
no like you can't feel good about any of it?

Speaker 2 (01:33:37):
No, all right, last game game. This is simply pictures
who qualified for the ERA title one hundred and sixty
two or more inning dead ones.

Speaker 4 (01:33:46):
Okay, this is a good one.

Speaker 2 (01:33:48):
Names are Logan Webb.

Speaker 4 (01:33:49):
I'm gonna go with Logan.

Speaker 2 (01:33:50):
Webb, Andrew Abbott, Nick Martinez, Kyle Hendrick, Andre Polonte, Dean Kramer,
Shane baz Will Warren, Clay Holmes, and Patrick Corbyn.

Speaker 5 (01:34:02):
Patrick.

Speaker 1 (01:34:03):
I'm sorry, but like for of these guys, there's no
way they threw one hundred and sixty two innings.

Speaker 3 (01:34:08):
There's no.

Speaker 4 (01:34:12):
I'm god, I can't believe I'm I can't believe I'm
saying this.

Speaker 2 (01:34:18):
Shane Bass.

Speaker 4 (01:34:19):
I'm gonna go Shane Bass.

Speaker 2 (01:34:20):
Jane Bobs one hundred and sixty six and the third innings.

Speaker 4 (01:34:22):
Okay, all right, wait, why is Patrick the last game?

Speaker 2 (01:34:28):
And I would say there's three of us?

Speaker 4 (01:34:30):
Oh okay, now you're now your second.

Speaker 2 (01:34:33):
I'm lost too. I'm just trusting on Patrick, very organized.

Speaker 3 (01:34:37):
Oh I went first on Logan. What You're right? Okay,
all right, so I this it could be a trap,
but it had like.

Speaker 2 (01:34:44):
Andrew Andrew Rabbit one hundred and sixty six and the
third innings the exact same amount as Shane Bass.

Speaker 3 (01:34:50):
Yeah, well that that.

Speaker 5 (01:34:51):
I don't feel really bad if I'm wrong about this,
but I'm pretty sure Clay Holmes got over.

Speaker 2 (01:34:57):
Clay Homes one hundred and sixty five and yeah, two thirds.

Speaker 4 (01:35:01):
Okay, Okay.

Speaker 6 (01:35:02):
Now, now we've reached the point where we've got these
pictures that shouldn't have gone. Not like shouldn't mathematically, I
mean shouldn't morally. None of these pictures being allowed to
pitch this much is a failure.

Speaker 4 (01:35:18):
It's an indictment.

Speaker 5 (01:35:20):
It's like there's like four long relievers.

Speaker 4 (01:35:24):
I'm you know what, It's not even that I think
it's the right answer, but it's the one I least,
the one I least would hate to have to say.
I'm gonna say, Will.

Speaker 5 (01:35:32):
Warren, that's not the one I picked.

Speaker 2 (01:35:34):
One hundred and sixty two and one third inning.

Speaker 5 (01:35:36):
Yah, I'm not saying that's that's not the I thought
the most moral answer. I don't think of this one.
Go ahead.

Speaker 1 (01:35:42):
I'm going to say the most moral answer probably is
the lowest dra of it. It's going to cost me, Jeffrey,
but I'm going to do it because it's our podcast.
We gotta go with the Kremer.

Speaker 5 (01:35:51):
Yeah, that's what I said.

Speaker 3 (01:35:52):
The most moral answer is Dean Kremer.

Speaker 2 (01:35:54):
Yes, he is number one on this list, one hundred
and seventy one, and.

Speaker 3 (01:35:58):
Oh yeah, that's well, and he is the most more.

Speaker 5 (01:36:01):
Unfortunately now I can't guess.

Speaker 3 (01:36:03):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (01:36:05):
It's who I had in mind already, jeff Right, w
b c A. Stean Kremer.

Speaker 5 (01:36:09):
You know, every time I feel like I saw him
pitch this year, it was in relief.

Speaker 2 (01:36:14):
So I'm gonna go.

Speaker 5 (01:36:15):
I'm gonna do the George Castando, go against my gut
and Saint Nick Martinez.

Speaker 2 (01:36:19):
Nick Martinez one hundred and sixty five and two thirds inning.

Speaker 3 (01:36:23):
All right, So I couldn't bring myself.

Speaker 5 (01:36:25):
To Yeah I could, like it was tough, but I
that are Kyle Hendrix and I'm not fucking picking Kyle Hendricks.

Speaker 2 (01:36:29):
It's it's Hendrix and Corbin left.

Speaker 6 (01:36:32):
Yeah, Corbyn and I was literally earlier in the podcast.
I'm like he started, and I think he did start
like every game. The thing is the Corbyn could have started. Yeah, yeah,
man didn't see a sixth thing his entire his entire
and also.

Speaker 3 (01:36:47):
He didn't he didn't start the year in the rotation.

Speaker 4 (01:36:53):
Yeah, he was the roster. I feel like Areolante was
good enough long enough man. Really, I was.

Speaker 3 (01:37:01):
Absolutely going to pick. I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:37:03):
I don't feel good by any of these because Plante
one hundred and sixty two and third.

Speaker 1 (01:37:09):
Patrick has cleared two names by a total of one inning, yes,
mind total of one inning.

Speaker 4 (01:37:14):
All right.

Speaker 3 (01:37:15):
I was absolutely going to pick because he like I
know he.

Speaker 5 (01:37:19):
They just yeah, Craig Patrick, Corban or Kyle Henry because
this is for.

Speaker 4 (01:37:26):
All the marvels.

Speaker 2 (01:37:27):
This is so fucked You didn't Hendricks just announce his
retirement or yes he did, Yes he did.

Speaker 3 (01:37:33):
And Patrick Corbin retired three years ago, so it's it's complicated.

Speaker 5 (01:37:39):
Like I don't like I watched enough Angels.

Speaker 3 (01:37:42):
I did not watch any Angel.

Speaker 5 (01:37:43):
I definitely saw a couple Kyle Hendricks starts, but I
couldn't keep.

Speaker 2 (01:37:46):
Starting I started.

Speaker 6 (01:37:49):
I know, I know for the first half of the season,
they only used five starters the entire first half. So
I remember that when they went to a six story,
wasn't to replace Hendricks, it was to replace Channa Witz.

Speaker 2 (01:38:03):
So that wit and throw, thank you, I'm gonna do.

Speaker 4 (01:38:10):
I just need to do it. Could have just done
all five Angel starters.

Speaker 2 (01:38:13):
Yeah, Channa Wits threw one hundred and eleven innings in case.

Speaker 4 (01:38:17):
Yeah you know, he got, he got. He never made
it back after they took him out.

Speaker 1 (01:38:20):
But I know you guys, I'm sorry, guy the guy
at the poker table who just has a like a
yes or no choice, and and I'm just I have
to sit with this for a moment.

Speaker 3 (01:38:31):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (01:38:33):
You should talk it through, like, uh, well, who's any
other things? The poetry guys everyone hates.

Speaker 3 (01:38:38):
There's no one to talk through neither of these. I'm
trying to actual If corn corn came up.

Speaker 2 (01:38:49):
Tyler Anderson threw one hundred and thirty six and the
third innings who pitched?

Speaker 3 (01:38:53):
They was sorry, AM, okay, this is I'm gonna go
with KYL Hendricks.

Speaker 2 (01:39:03):
You're gonna go with Kyle Hendricks. You said, yeah, Kyle
Hendricks threw one hundred and sixty four.

Speaker 3 (01:39:12):
Patrick Corbyn, I got the last one.

Speaker 2 (01:39:14):
Patrick Corbin threw one hundred and fifty five and one
third innings.

Speaker 4 (01:39:18):
Yeah, in thirty starts.

Speaker 2 (01:39:19):
So yeah, he came back.

Speaker 1 (01:39:21):
Okay, all right, Well I did not know he got
to three starts thirty starts, But I I what part
of what I did in this was I literally was like,
what would what is six innings times twenty eight? I
was thinking started like twenty eight games and that was over.

Speaker 3 (01:39:33):
But I was like, he didn't average six, and he
did average. I think I have to go under. But
thirty starts might have pushed me the other way.

Speaker 6 (01:39:39):
I feel like that was designed to get me personally,
and I don't appreciate it, and I avoided it.

Speaker 2 (01:39:45):
And yet you still every time Patrick came up, I
was convinced he was gonna guess Patrick Corbyn.

Speaker 4 (01:39:51):
I do, Oh my god, I gotta stay one step
of How did.

Speaker 5 (01:39:55):
Nick Martinez throw that many innings this year.

Speaker 2 (01:39:57):
That is baffling. Yeah, it is baffling.

Speaker 5 (01:39:59):
Like they I know they had like injuries, and I
know he was technically they always have injuries. He was
technically a starter. But every time I saw him, pictures
out of the bull bang.

Speaker 4 (01:40:07):
So who got who got whammy the most? Who won
that round?

Speaker 2 (01:40:11):
I got on Randy Rodriguez whammyed Jeffrey Craig, Craig Craig,
that was my only one, I.

Speaker 4 (01:40:20):
Think, the only one to Jeff get me four times?

Speaker 2 (01:40:23):
I made four times. I think. Yeah, the Robbie Ray
was Jeff Yeah, I should have been paying.

Speaker 3 (01:40:30):
Well, So the thing is I I correctly got I
got the last answer right.

Speaker 2 (01:40:34):
Right, Bryce and Stott was someone just got that foisted
on them. That was me.

Speaker 5 (01:40:41):
I think technically you would both lose that. Well, it's
tougher with three people like I don't I don't know
half a whammy each. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:40:48):
It's it's just whoever has the least number of whammies.
Whoever had the least number of whamies wins.

Speaker 5 (01:40:55):
Craig and I tied, Yeah, that's fine.

Speaker 4 (01:40:57):
And so Craig and I tied for the day, Patrick,
I feel both get.

Speaker 3 (01:41:01):
A portion of a loss when I don't like this.

Speaker 2 (01:41:03):
I got to the point.

Speaker 1 (01:41:06):
If we had established that ahead of time, then maybe yeah,
I did not did not consider a point system.

Speaker 6 (01:41:12):
I really need to record the podcast, listen to it,
find out one, then re record the podcast and congratulate them.

Speaker 5 (01:41:19):
Right, and sometime in the next two weeks tell us
who won this game?

Speaker 2 (01:41:24):
All right, I will save mine for another day. Sorry,

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
