Speaker 1 (00:01):
WMOE and I MOLA broadcasting that what probably was that?
The Big Mo Podcast. The Big Mo Podcast is brought
to you by Pharma, twenty four, Craftspin Electric and Revey
Landscaping and now your hosts Andy Nagel and Big Mo Barrett.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
This is the Big Mo Podcast I've been waiting for
for a long time. We have the Big Mo Podcast
Camp going on at Moler and we have two special
guests in studio who have been helping me throughout the
entire week. Gentlemen, identify yourself and your role here in
the camp.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
I'm Daniel Barnard. I'll be interning here all summer at
the Big Mo.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
And twenty two grad. You forgot that.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
Oh that's probably the most important part, right correct, Yeah,
twenty twenty two grad. So I'll be a senior at
O you this coming year. I've been on a podcast
episode with you. They know who I am.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
Everybody knows.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
It's this next guy right here that we really need
to introduce.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
He's probably got more air time than both of us.
Go ahead, Yeah, my name is Sam Drea.
Speaker 4 (01:00):
I'm currently a rising sophomore here at Mollar.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
Got fun to say you're no longer a freshman Yeah,
it's good. It's good to be up more to elevate it.
That's right, that's right.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
I've heard the term rising thrown around more in the
past week than I have my whole life. Really, just
here at Molar, I know what.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
It is because it's hard to me. And like when
I just put something out just last week about a
Moler senior baseball player, he's not really a senior anymore.
He's graduated. So what do I say? Molar collegiate freshman?
You know what I mean? So by saying senior versus
and identifying senior versus a rising senior year, you're talking
about an incoming junior who's coming in a.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
Moment, a falling senior.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
That's true. I was a falling graduate. I was a
falling junior at at at my high school. There's no
doubt about that. Hey, guys, this is fun because all
week long we've had these uh, I say, all week
it's Monday, Tuesday, now Wednesday, we've had these uh these
young guys and and girl in the Big Podcast camp,
(02:01):
the first time we've ever done a camp like this,
and today they are going to host I don't know
how pretty it's going to be likely ugly, but that's
the beauty of it, right. So we're going to have
the guys and girl. The one girl in this camp
is my daughter, but it's all of their dudes. And
credit to her because I said, hey, it's going to
be a bunch of guys in the camp, a bunch
(02:21):
of kids. Boys. Are you okay that? She goes, yeah,
I'm cool, I'm chill. Let's go. She's keeping them all on.
Just that that's a fact, all honest. Let's start with you, Daniel.
What's been your perception, your your your feedback so far
on the whole camp and you know these kids been fun.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Well, I mean it's it's fifth through eighth graders, right,
so you can only expect so much. But we're going
through our first two days. I mean, we take them
on a tour on Monday, tell them to keep their
eyes out for possible storylines, teaching them the core values
is a molar and they got that down path. They
got that down Yesterday, we're walking around the school with
the actual storylines in mine, interview different individuals at Moler
(03:01):
and I was really impressed with these kids' ability to
just walk right up to these people and just start talking.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
To six foot six, he's a monster. And we had
Kingston Atlantis six he might be six, what is he again?
Six ten? He's huge.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
We had we had her talking to him like my daughter.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Sitting right there standing next to me. Now, yes, we
six foot ten, and it.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
Was like it was nothing. I mean, she's staring straight up.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
But I thought it would have been funny if you
would have put him on like a ladder and just
had him like that would have been funny.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
Well, they're not on camera.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
But it's fun that that age fifth. I mean, Sam,
you were that age about a month ago. So do
you feel a lot older than these kids, even though
really you're only two years removed from being eligible for
the camp.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
I mean a couple of them I recognized from grade school,
and they're like, and it's kind of good.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
To see that school All Saints, All Saints. Yeah, it
was JP. I think that was the one kid. Sam's
the only guy to ever get lost coming to high
school from to visit the high school from the grade
school on that.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
I didn't need to know how that was.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Sam does a great job. Sam, what do you think
so far?
Speaker 4 (04:19):
I think it's great that these kids are getting involved
even at such a young age and just getting involved
with a possible high school that they want to go
to and be involved with and get active in their school.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Can you imagine when you guys are in grade school
to I think, I think I speak for all three
of us, Like, even though I'm very much removed from
grade school much further than you guys, they didn't have
things like this. They didn't have a broadcast studio. More
didn't have a broadcast studio, uh let alone at camp.
So can you imagine if they would have had that
(04:51):
when you guys were in school?
Speaker 3 (04:53):
It would have been light years of a difference, Like
just it would have made a huge difference in and
the getting started and everything like that. It's just the
opportunity that these kids has, that these kids have is
just outstanding. And you know, one thing I was thinking
about is we need more numbers in the broadcasting department
(05:15):
here at Moler And the fact that we're in a
way getting these kids started at eleven, twelve, thirteen years old,
and that they're going to come into high school whether
or not they come to Molar, but they're going to
come into high school being like, oh, yeah, that was fun.
I might want to try that out, and maybe they're
up here day one of freshman year. Like, it's just
it's awesome, and I hope the rest of the week
(05:35):
is as good as the beginning.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Of the week.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
It's again, Yeah, it's just good to see them come in,
be excited and just get to learn more about what
they love and get to do what they would want
to do, possibly for even a future career and stuff
like that.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
Yeah, we've talked about them, but now you're going to
hear from them. We have no idea what questions they're
going to ask, We have no idea what topics they
will discuss, who they might interview. That's the best part
of this podcast. We got the campers of the Big
Mo podcast coming up next. You're on the best coverage

Welcome back to the More Broadcast Network and the Big
Mo Podcast. We are pleased to welcome Man of Buller
and Notre Dame Cornerback, Carson Hobbs. Carson for joining us.
Speaker 6 (07:29):
How are you guys doing?
Speaker 7 (07:30):
We're doing good.
Speaker 8 (07:31):
Thanks good.
Speaker 6 (07:33):
I'm excited to be able to talk to you guys today.
Speaker 5 (07:35):
Man, So, why did you pick cornerback out of all
the positions? Why cornerback?
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (07:43):
So credit you know, Mark Elder my twenty twenty two
Head Coach twenty twenty three Head coach for you know,
having the trust my ability after a really good corner named.
Speaker 6 (07:58):
Kat Davis had broken tibula and practice in the summertime.
It was my freshman year, just ended entering my sophomore year,
and uh, I was playing wide receiver at the time.
I'm not sure you know how the molar career was
going to go, just playing football, being young, being a kid,
and Coach Oder called me, it was like, hey, I'm
gonna switching to the corner of the day And I
(08:18):
was like, what are you talking about. He's like yeah.
Speaker 10 (08:22):
I was like, well, you can't just do that.
Speaker 6 (08:23):
I mean, I don't even know what I'm doing.
Speaker 10 (08:25):
And he did it.
Speaker 6 (08:26):
And then it being the great decision of you know,
my life and of his that he made it for me.
So just very thankful for him, and you know, thankful
all my trainers and stuff that are able to develop
me to me and the man, I am.
Speaker 5 (08:39):
Okay, And is Cat Davis still brown?
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Yes?
Speaker 8 (08:45):
Yes, brown, yes, yes, okay.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
Who's a better defensive back? Cat Davis or Carsion Hobbs.
Speaker 11 (08:53):
Oh my gosh, I can't.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
A better question would be Carsion Hobbs. Who's the better?
Ask him this question? All right? Joe asked him this
question him versus Tanell Bryant. Who wins Monoy.
Speaker 12 (09:08):
Mono not a competition?
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Who would win? Joe? Ask him? How about like you
got Joe's got.
Speaker 8 (09:14):
A Blahoma drill.
Speaker 13 (09:16):
There you go, Joe, Oh, Oklahoma drill and now Bryant,
the last place.
Speaker 11 (09:22):
We'll see is the molar football field.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
If we do it, then he would get hurt. Toell
would get hurt. I can promise you that there's no
doubt about that.
Speaker 10 (09:32):
Say a lot, but in Oklahoma drill, drill, he is
not ready for it.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
I will tell you our producers in the control room.
As soon as I said tell would get hurt. Sam
Dreer stands up and rolls his eyes like he didn't
believe it. Joe, go ahead, Oh.
Speaker 8 (09:45):
Wow, how does it feel?
Speaker 7 (09:47):
Wow?
Speaker 8 (09:47):
Going to the runner ups from last year?
Speaker 10 (09:52):
Yeah, it was definitely a blessing. We talked about it
every single day.
Speaker 14 (09:56):
Here.
Speaker 10 (09:57):
We use it as motivation. Right, there's the college football
team in the country over two hundred and you know
we were at the top two in the entire nation
to make its national championship. So you know you can
use that to motivate you by getting there. But the
loss is really what motivates us because we know our
standard and you know the representation we have for ourselves
(10:20):
to be on the national level of that. Just because
we made it doesn't mean we finished the job. We
have a lot more to do this year to ensure
them not only we get back that this year the
position to be able to win. So it was a
great grant atmosphere, a great environment.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
But at the end of the day, Oh, Tarn's got
a question for you. Now.
Speaker 7 (10:41):
So you said your coach inspired you, but did your
older brother, ohso inspire you play college ball? Because yeah, yeah,
I know he plays for is it Florida?
Speaker 10 (10:56):
Yeah, my older brother played for FIU for like two
three years, know, and he was a very big exper
to me still at to the day. So it's a
man that I look up to by carries himself and
you know, we were just you know, you guys a day.
It's like age seventh grade. We were, you know, the
entire time growing up running in sand and I'll go
(11:18):
out of Miami and train and kill me at workouts,
but ended up developing h Carson.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
I want to ask you about what it was like
to walk out, Carson Hobbs onto the biggest stage in
college football. But I want to ask more quarterback, one
of the top quarterbacks in the country, top baseball players
in the country, Matt Ponitowski. You got Carson Hobbs. We're
at the Big MO broadcasting camp here. Could you throw
it all over the field against Carson Hobbs and the
(11:47):
defensive backfield? Would you, Matt Ponitowski be licking your chops?
Speaker 15 (11:52):
Yeah, I mean it's like, you know, I feel I'm like,
I right, he thinks like he's like that, so we.
Speaker 10 (12:02):
You know, And I had a lot of respect for Matt.
Speaker 13 (12:05):
I loved him like that was my hommies, like you know,
and that's been playing since he was a freshman, you know,
I was a junior and I see Mattie and I'm like,
you know what, go ahead, and it's the practice You're
gonna make me root against you because like rain street
snow when you put Carson on the fields to go
And that's the issue is that you forget that and
hurt my feelings.
Speaker 15 (12:26):
How many times have you used the rain and Seaton rain,
sleet and snow.
Speaker 10 (12:33):
That I don't know, but I like what you said
it better.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
Hey, I got I got a Luke has a question
for you guys, Luke, introduce yourself to Matt because this
Matt's just joining us one of our campers.
Speaker 7 (12:43):
You're go ahead, I am yeah.
Speaker 5 (12:46):
What was it like being teammates?
Speaker 14 (12:48):
Oh?
Speaker 10 (12:49):
I mean great practice? Competition every day was like that,
especially when tonlos there. That was actually the primest well
not college, but in high school.
Speaker 13 (13:01):
I was my best year.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
Matt. What what would you say is that you have Carson.
There's no lack of talking smack when Carson's on the roster.
Was What was it like, Matt?
Speaker 16 (13:13):
I think it was like, you know, the the vibes
was always like it was I don't know how to
describe it. It was like I was the one say
if we had the vibe that I brought, it was
it was we wouldn't have went We wouldn't win it out,
but we would have one day, but we didn't.
Speaker 6 (13:31):
It was but we didn't.
Speaker 10 (13:34):
It was it was we did because it was it was.
Speaker 15 (13:38):
It was a lot of fun to go out there
and compete, even if you weren't winning all the time,
because like you knew you're going up against like really
good guys, so like it just like it was like
the vibes are always up like you couldn't get enough,
especially when him and Jordan's started going at it. Like
I was just you know, I was sitting in just
my little seat over there, some joint life. So it
wasn't always that mere.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
I got Joe here, Joe, I got.
Speaker 12 (14:03):
A question from Matt.
Speaker 10 (14:05):
We got I just know where we're going.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
You're trying to get Mad to make the announcement of
where he's going to go play collegiate ball on the
Big Mo Podcast. Matt, are you prepared to announce it
during the Big Mo Podcast campers camp?
Speaker 12 (14:23):
We're We're still open.
Speaker 15 (14:25):
I still got to take a visit to organ.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
So hey, you to tell the guys on the campers here, Matt,
what you're down to your final four?
Speaker 15 (14:35):
Alabama, Oregon, UK and Arkansas.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
Perfect Joe Joe. Joe has a question for you, guys.
Speaker 8 (14:41):
Joe, go ahead, Matt, this is a question for you.
Are you thinking about pursuing your football or baseball dream more?
Speaker 10 (14:50):
I think I haven't really decided that yet.
Speaker 9 (14:53):
I've decided to.
Speaker 12 (14:54):
Play both in college.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
But.
Speaker 15 (14:57):
You know, from them, I'm just kind of going to
let the game come to me.
Speaker 10 (15:00):
I'm not really going to florus a decision upon myself
and I think.
Speaker 16 (15:04):
You know my game and God will kind of lead
me in the right direction.
Speaker 10 (15:07):
To where I think it'll be pretty evident on what
I'm gonna. What I'm gonna do you know, past past college.
Speaker 8 (15:15):
Yeah, so you're gonna pull like a Patrick Mahomes.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Patrick.
Speaker 12 (15:20):
I mean, I don't know.
Speaker 10 (15:21):
I mean I think you know Murray.
Speaker 17 (15:25):
Yeah, you know, I be Yeah, I'll be drafting.
Speaker 16 (15:27):
No, it'd be great to be drafshed the first those sports,
but I don't I don't know if I got it
like that.
Speaker 8 (15:34):
Thank you for joining us.
Speaker 5 (15:36):
Carson and Matt will be back to wrap up another
great edition of the Big mo Podcast on w mo
OE and the Molar Broadcasting Network.
Speaker 18 (15:48):
If you need electric work in your home or business,
give the pros a Craftsman Electric Call, a family business
owned by Muller Grads Crassman has won the Anti Super
Service Award fifteen years.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
In a row.
Speaker 18 (15:57):
Craftsman Electric Quality, craftsmanship, It's in their name.
Speaker 19 (16:07):
Welcome back to the WMB Podcast. We are honored to
have Jordan Marshall here with us in Michigan, running back
as sophomore as he prepares for his twenty twenty five
college football season. I'm Kean Taylor alongside my.
Speaker 7 (16:19):
Partners Ashan Riley.
Speaker 8 (16:21):
Thank you're in Satawi?
Speaker 19 (16:22):
All right, Jordan, I'm a Michigan fan. I'm a little nervous.
But how do you feel playing at Michigan?
Speaker 2 (16:28):
Just so you know, before, jordan'ance is Jordan. When he
was a freshman and he was in grade school, he
was sitting in that same chair. You were just as
nervous as you were, right, Jay.
Speaker 11 (16:37):
Yeah, don't be nervous. I'm just a person just like you.
And again, it's all right to be to be a
little nervous, to check those nerves out. To play for Michigan,
it's a dream come true. You get to play against
one hundred thousand fans every single day, and I get
(17:00):
many people like you happy, and just to go out
there and play the game I love, for the people
I love, and for God's name is a true blessing.
Mueller changed just the person I am, how I got
connected to God and taught me just lessons about how
(17:23):
to be a good friend, a good dad, just a
good role model. And Mueller set me up for my
future at Michigan and my future past Michigan now.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Guys when you interview, and remember you can jump in
and ask questions on top of whatever his question is
here and go ahead.
Speaker 8 (17:43):
When did you find your love for football?
Speaker 11 (17:49):
Well, my mom kind of put me in every single sport,
which is really good when you have your parents being involved.
So I would probably say around five or six, I
really started to fall in love. And that's all I
did was play with football, sleep with it.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
Just fell in love with the game. Hey, Jordan, to
tell the boys about how you your fear of fumbling
and what you did to bring yourself in a closer
relationship with that football.
Speaker 11 (18:20):
I would before the games, I usually sleep with the
sleep holding the football before I go to sleep.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
We got Dominic Sivada, who's the kicker for Michigan on
the line with this right now, the number one kicker
Teddy and all of college football, and he's obviously a
teammate at Jordan. You have, so what would you you're
Are you a Michigan fan, Teddy?
Speaker 12 (18:41):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (18:41):
You are, now right? What would you like to ask
Dominic on the on the on the radio here in
the Big Bow podcast?
Speaker 14 (18:47):
How does it feel to be the number one kicker
in college football?
Speaker 2 (18:51):
That's right? Great, question.
Speaker 17 (18:54):
That was a great question then, Uh, I appreciate that,
you know. You know, I just try and come out
to practice every day and work as hard as they
can and you know, give every day my best effort
so that that come out and perform like I do. Uh,
you just try and come out and get better every day,
and that's that's my goal, is just to get better
every day.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
We got nukem. Go ahead and nuke them.
Speaker 7 (19:17):
How have you practice and how have you trained to
become the number one coicker?
Speaker 11 (19:24):
That's a great question.
Speaker 17 (19:25):
So just a lot of visualization, a lot of time,
you know, spending you know, kicking footballs and uh, preparing
mentally for the big moment because you know, kickers only
get one to two opportunities of games, so you really
got to take full advantage of when you get those opportunities,
and you can't let them slip by.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
All right, my daughter Fletcher in the camp, the only girl,
Jordan in this camp. You you got a question for
Dominic or Jordan.
Speaker 14 (19:53):
I don't really know a lot about football, so that's it.
I don't really have a question.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
What's your favorite thing about Jordan's?
Speaker 14 (20:00):
How sweet and kind he is?
Speaker 2 (20:01):
Now, I mean Jordan Marshall. I mean, now I'm kidding.
I'm kidding, Jordan. What's your Jordan, what's your favorite thing
about playing in having teammates like Dominic up there at
Michigan and you guys have really created I've been fortunate
to go up there with Jordan when you were before,
when you were committed, but you you weren't officially in yet,
(20:22):
and I was able to. They always talk about the
Michigan football family and it's like, man, it's everybody claims that,
but there is something definitively different about the Michigan football family.
Jordan and Dominic, you can chime in, why is it
different up there in an arbor.
Speaker 11 (20:39):
I just think the guys we recruit and the people
coaching Morris for that's around. It's just a big family.
And we talk about Michigan being player lead and that
it's truly player led, and all the guys that are
all in. We got guys doing internships. Yeah, guys doing
internships all summer. We're all the way that an internship.
(21:01):
So when you have people that are just willing to
give all they have at every time of the day,
it's it makes playing football a whole lot easier.
Speaker 14 (21:11):
How do you feel about like being at Michigan like
all the like supporters you have.
Speaker 11 (21:20):
It puts a target on your back, not really a target,
but you just have to You have to know that
at all times you're being watched and act that way.
Even when you think you're not being watched. There's somebody
looking over your shoulder. So just act as such if
(21:41):
your mom or anybody was there. And again, just pro
on be that person that your parents dicast you to
be and that God wants you to be.
Speaker 8 (21:52):
One more question, how long have you been playing football?
Speaker 11 (21:58):
I've been playing football since I was four years old, so.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
Fifteen years is molar? Math is good? Fletcher has one
for you, God, Fletcher.
Speaker 14 (22:08):
How does it feel to have a friend that cheers
on Ohio State?
Speaker 2 (22:13):
He's talking about she's talking about ragging you better? You better?
You better answer this correctly, Jordan.
Speaker 11 (22:22):
She's all right, Uh, she's she's cute, so she can
get away with it.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
But yeah, you know, we always say, Jordan, what do
we always say? We're all sinners? Right, We're all sinners?
All right? I got a question for Dominic the last one.
Molar versus Valley Christian School at a Chandler Arizona Mono
Emano Friday Night this fall. You better back it up,
(22:49):
big boy. I want you to back it up with
the facts to proof who wins Molar versus your alma mater,
Valley Christian. What are they? What's her nickname?
Speaker 12 (22:58):
Valley Christian?
Speaker 2 (22:59):
Val should buy one hundred by Jeordan? Alright, Sorry, George.
Speaker 17 (23:03):
I know all your listeners are probably you know, in
that area, but.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
You know I got a kick to my root, Teddy.
Is he still your favorite kicker in all college football?
It's changed changed, changed a little bit, hey, dom Thank

Welcome back to the w Big Mo Podcast.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
Close enough, that's good enough, Little Kirk, go ahead. We
have special guests on the on the line right now,
don't we Yeah. You want to introduce him.
Speaker 8 (25:14):
You know him, my brother, Thomas Kirky.
Speaker 12 (25:18):
What's up now?
Speaker 2 (25:19):
Here's what you gotta tell everybody. You know who Thomas
Kirky is. But the people listening on the radio right
now may not have any idea who Thomas Kirky, is
you got to introduce him and who he is beyond
being your brother.
Speaker 19 (25:32):
He plays d line for Mueller and he's going to
Bucknow University to play football.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
All right, talk to him, Kirk. This is your brother
right now. Is more nervous than I've ever seen you ever.
He's nervous right now. We'll go to Charlie. Charlie, go
ahead and ask him a question. Uh for your college?
(25:59):
Is it?
Speaker 8 (25:59):
Do you want on D two or D three?
Speaker 2 (26:02):
It is D one? Oh? All right?
Speaker 8 (26:04):
So are the games televised?
Speaker 12 (26:06):
Yes, they're televised on ESPN plus.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
All right, now, I got William here, a little big Girk.
William is a baseball okay, but but he also but
he's an athlete.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
You know.
Speaker 2 (26:18):
It's a little bit about football too.
Speaker 14 (26:20):
William asking me your question, why do you enjoy playing football?
Speaker 2 (26:26):
I don't know.
Speaker 12 (26:26):
I was feeling like I didn't choose football. Football chose me.
So I could I just love it?
Speaker 2 (26:32):
Man?
Speaker 3 (26:35):
Nice?
Speaker 14 (26:36):
See?
Speaker 2 (26:36):
Yeah, we have dead air now, so you guys always
got to be thinking about what to talk about next.
So do you have another question for him?
Speaker 5 (26:42):
Why did you answer the call the first time.
Speaker 12 (26:45):
I was I was working and then I don't sit
on my phone all day like you, Thomas.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
What What are some things that that that Molar has
taught you that has prepared you collegiately for football, not
just football, but academics. At Bucknell, which is a very
high academic school, How did Molar help prepare you for that?
Speaker 20 (27:14):
I think I think first and foremost, Molar made me
spiritually closer to who God wants me to be.
Speaker 12 (27:21):
So now that I'm stronger spiritually and close to.
Speaker 20 (27:24):
The man God wants me to be, I think that
everything academic and athletically will will be.
Speaker 12 (27:31):
I'll be better set for all of that going into college.
Speaker 20 (27:34):
But academically it's I think one thing Muller was really
good about preparing me for is you know, here's what
you gotta do, and it's up to you to get
it done.
Speaker 7 (27:45):
Buck Now, why did you choose Bucknell out of any
other college that you could have gone to?
Speaker 20 (27:50):
Good question, Well, my top two ended up being the Citadel,
which is a military Division one military school.
Speaker 12 (27:59):
Down to South a Lot, or buck Mail.
Speaker 20 (28:02):
The thing with Senadello was that I would have to
put school and military I head of football, where at
Buckmell I would have to put school ahead of football.
So I want to be able to go to college
and put as much focus on football as possible. And
if I have to put military ahead of football, I
wouldn't be able to put as much sports football at
(28:22):
the Citadel as I would Buck Mails. That's why I
chose buck Mail and also coach Bauer as a defensive coordinator.
Speaker 12 (28:29):
He reminds me a lot of Mueller's head coach, Coach
b And I thought, I thought that that would be
a good fit for me.
Speaker 14 (28:36):
What did What were some other colleges that you thought
about going to?
Speaker 20 (28:41):
I thought I thought about going to Grand Valley State.
They're are the best D two.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Program in the nation.
Speaker 20 (28:47):
But at the end of the day, a couple of
things stepped through. It wasn't a full scholarship, which is
something that I want to be able to get.
Speaker 12 (28:57):
Back to my parents as them not having to it.
Speaker 20 (29:00):
Not that I would expect him to pay for college,
but they don't even have to worry about me figuring.
Speaker 12 (29:04):
Out a way to pay for college.
Speaker 20 (29:07):
And those those were really the only three that I
ever truly considered awesome.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
You got one work with little little brother. I got
two questions. You're popular, big Girk, go ahead, I would
go that far. You're kind of a big deal. Go ahead,
little Girk. The favorite part of being at Moeller, Oh.
Speaker 20 (29:27):
It's got to be stopping Chase Serve Street on the
one inch line to beat the Bombers in the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
And where's Chase heading to play college football? Yeah? Michigan,
we did. They just got done interviewing Jordan Marshall so
and Dominic Savada, the kickers, so that we've been talking
a lot about Michigan. Yeah, yeah, Charlie.
Speaker 14 (29:46):
Do you have plans to play in the NFL one day? Uh?
Speaker 20 (29:50):
I want to take football as far as God will
allow me to take it.
Speaker 2 (29:53):
Yes, sir, that's beautiful. Thank you so much, big Girk.
Uh for taking for having me. Absolutely, these guys are
doing a fantastic job learning how to interview people, learning
how to be on a big mo podcast. And we
had you as a guest many times on this so
thanks for joining us today. No, thank you for having me, Bett.
That's awesome. We love him. It's Thomas Kirky on his
(30:15):
way to buck Nell. That guy right there is a dog.
He was a lot of fun to watch and certainly
somebody that we will continue to watch as he advances
to buck Nell University. We got more in depth team coverage.
We got a new group of guys coming on to
the Big Mo Podcast to host the show. I have
(30:35):
no idea what they're talking about. We're gonna find out.
We might even get a call from Matt Ponatowski if
he decides to wake up. He's on a summer baseball trip.
We'll see if he wakes up in time to appear
on the show. It's Big Mo Barrett and the campers
of the Big Mo Podcast on w MOOE and the
Moler Broadcasting Network. Hi, everybody, it's Big Mo Perry. By
(31:02):
now you've listened to at least one of the Big
Mo Podcast. But what are you waiting for? The Big
Mo Podcast is now ranked in the top five iHeartRadio
podcast and it's led by our own Emmy Award winning
producer Joe Strecker. He's not just a pretty face.
Speaker 5 (31:17):
Are you kidding me?
Speaker 2 (31:18):
He's the guy that pushes the buttons on the Big
Mo Podcast wm OE and the Molar Broadcasting Network. That
one you got close. That's a lot of words. You
got close. It's the Big Mo Podcast on WMOE and
the Molar Broadcasting nowhere he got close.
Speaker 3 (31:40):
He did.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
That's not bad, Daniel, he did. What did you think
of everything? You guy? Because we we when we assign rules,
we're like, okay, these guys are doing interviews, these guys
are doing I need one guy to wrap it up.
And you rose your hand. Actually Teddy did too. You
both rose your hand. You guys fought over it, and
uh you won. But uh, Barry wrestler, Teddy's Teddy. I
(32:01):
wouldn't want to go mono imano in an alley with Teddy.
I think you could take care of business. What you think, Diggs?
Speaker 21 (32:07):
I thought it was cool that we almost got we
got the top four from Matt Potowski.
Speaker 2 (32:13):
What are these for?
Speaker 3 (32:14):
You?
Speaker 2 (32:14):
Remember?
Speaker 21 (32:15):
Alabama, Kentucky, Arkansas.
Speaker 3 (32:19):
That's right, that's right, Kentucky and Arkansas.
Speaker 2 (32:21):
Man, he's going with the Ryevalsers for sure. I see
I see the T shirt going being brought in right now.
And Kate George is coming on and she's bringing she's
bringing T shirts. We should get Kate George. On the
Big Mo podcast, you talk about a monstrosity putting these
camps on and Degan, you're related to missus George talk
about that.
Speaker 21 (32:42):
It's pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (32:43):
Yeah, she's kind of a big deal. She's a big deal.
Here is she? Now? Does she call you Bud or
does she call you by diga? It's mainly Turkey, really turkey.
That's a new one. Yeah, all right, I want to
I want to ask why, But Deacon a great show.
We've had a great a bunch of great guess what
what kind of stuck were some of the things that
stuck out to you?
Speaker 21 (33:02):
Number one, Uh, Jordan Marshall apparently sleeps with the football.
Speaker 2 (33:07):
Yeah, do you believe that? He was real sheepish when
he told me about that his sophomore year. He says, Barry,
you have no idea like I am. I am afraid
of fumbling that football. I have to sleep with a thing.
I'm so afraid of fumbling it. Now. Little did he
tell the next game he after he told me that
he fumbled the football. So apparently he needs to sleep
with two of them.
Speaker 21 (33:28):
Yeah, maybe, I don't know. It was also cool to
have Carson Hobbs on.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
Have you ever heard of anybody that talks more than
Carson Hobbs No? I love that kid, but he loves
to talk to Daniel.
Speaker 3 (33:39):
Walked in I walked in here from the control room, like, man,
those kids love to yell at each other.
Speaker 14 (33:44):
They do.
Speaker 3 (33:45):
They just don't stop.
Speaker 2 (33:46):
They don't stop. And then you introduced more. Hey, guys,
when we're on a podcast, there's a lot of noise
in the background that people can hear, all right, So
when we're on the air, we got to keep it
on the down low, all right. We got one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven,
twelve grade school kid trying to keep quiet in the
background can be difficult to do, but a lot of
fun for sure, Degan. This camp, what's this camping like
(34:08):
for you?
Speaker 21 (34:08):
This camp has been amazing. It's been just a lot
of fun. Even the first day, it was good to
know everyone. Second I walked into the doors, they're already
open for.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
Me, Degan.
Speaker 3 (34:22):
So everybody talks about in the in the front of
the school, you've got the motto at the top, through
these doors walk the mint a mole. You just talked
about walking through those doors. What's that experience like, even
as even as a camper in grade school, you're not
even a moller student yet, But what's that feeling like
you come in? Everybody's there, the energy's high. How does
that make you feel?
Speaker 21 (34:42):
It just makes me feel like the need of like brotherhood,
parts of part of a family. It just makes me
feel comfortable knowing that I got all these guys that
are willing to like put together a camp for me.
Speaker 3 (34:57):
Yeah, that's that's awesome, man, It's it's a lot of fun.
You know, Barrett was was teasing with you when you
when you opened up the the this segment, you're getting
the getting the worst CRCT the w m E and
the Moller Broadcasting Network. I was gonna say when I
was when I was here and I was calling baseball
games and in basketball games, it took me so long
(35:19):
just to get two of the words down, Like you
were almost there, like you're you're you're picking it up
right away, and it's it's been a it's been a
great week. You you've learned a lot. Everybody else has
learned a lot. We still got another day to go.
It's good, it's gonna be it's gonna be a good one.
Speaker 2 (35:33):
Degan. Thank you so much for everything you've done. A
great job. I got a feeling there might be a
calling for you in broadcasting. I don't know, Maybe we
shall see what the Holy Spirit has in store for you.
For everybody on the broadcast team, we've got to give
some love to Sam Dreyer working the controls. In the
back are rising sophomore. Not our failing or following are
(35:57):
rising sophomore Daniel Barner, who's also interning with WMOE in
the Big Bot Broadcast and the Mollar Broadcasting Network this year.
And the host. We got Kieran, we got Keon, we
got William, we got I'm trying to look around the room.
We got Ashton, we got Charlie, we got Keaton, JP,
Luke Newcomb, Newcombe, Joe, Teddy Fletcher. For the entire broadcast team,
(36:24):
we hope you have a great week, a beautiful weekend.
Andy Nagel will be back in the hot seat next
week as we have more pillar to post wall to
wall coverage of Molar High School on wm OE and
the Molar Broadcasting Network.
Speaker 4 (36:40):
A body of soul, ask people just take a slope
the head, just talk a
Speaker 2 (36:47):
Piece of toy
