Speaker 1 (00:02):
Good morning family, Good morning God bless you. Welcome back
to the Morning Devo as you Bro Sam Lopez aka
DJ Sam Rock so Win is with a z dot
org live That so Win is with a z dot
org and streaming on social media platforms that allow of
stream to go through. We're back on x formally known
as Twitter streaming live. If that matters to you, Amen,

(00:22):
we're back there too. So listen, let's go for it. Today.
It's Friday, so we change gears. We switch gears, we
get into authentic imitationology. This is episode one hundred and
thirty one. Can you believe it? One hundred and thirty
one times on a Friday, we got together trying our
very best to imitate the most successful person who has
ever lived on this planet Earth, the Lord Jesus himself

(00:44):
through his word by way of his Holy Spirit. Amen.
And because we have the promises, we have the word,
we have the authority of God's word. Amen, we could
do what God says we could do according to his
word and according to his scripture. Podcast promotion. Thank you
so much for allowing me to share this in your group.
So today we're talking about overcoming barriers, barriers that you

(01:10):
have and that I have when we're presenting the gospel.
Although every believer, let me read my notes and let
me check the volume first. There you go. Every believer
is called to share the gospel, right, and we know
that many struggle with fears, doubts, or excuses because a

(01:32):
lot of times we'll say, this is the reason why
I don't share the gospel in this area to this person,
to that person. Those reasons are actually excuses sometimes that
prevent us from speaking up. The good news is that
God provides the strength. He provides the wisdom and courage
to push past these barriers or those barriers or whatever

(01:56):
is hindering you or stopping you from sharing your faith
with somebody else. To be in Matthew Chapter ten, Versus
nineteen and twenty. Matthew Chapter ten, Versus nineteen and twenty.
Were got to check this out today in the morning, devil,
so that way we could be better at sharing our gospel,
the gospel of the Lord, God's gospel. Amen. We're gonna

(02:16):
be better at sharing what God wants us to share.
And sometimes we'll use words. Amen. A lot of times
we don't even have to use words. A lot of
times people are just watching. Once you say you're born again,
Christian people are watching. They want to know how you respond, react,
how you speak, how you talk. Are you including yourself
in crazy activities or not? Saying no sometimes gets into

(02:40):
a lonely space. I know, amen, so, but it's worth it.
Once you say you're born again and you start saying
no to sin, saying no to hanging out and drinking
and smoking and having premarital or external affairs. Once you
say no, you start seeing and start realizing the power

(03:01):
of God that lives within you, a man to give
you the ability to give you the power to say
no first and almost because if you're honest, you know
that before we were born again, before you got saved,
before you were transformed by the renewing of our hearts
and minds, we could not say no to anything that
was sinfle We will slave to those we are in bondage.

(03:23):
We were slaves to sin before the Savior change our
lives and set us free from the bondages of sin.
So today breaking and overcoming barriers Matthew ten nineteen and twenty.
If you have any questions, comments, concerns, prayer requests, or
anything along those lines. The Live chat is open. If
you're listening from Celeradio Networks, someone is dot org a man,

(03:47):
thank you so much for coming back. We should be
a way to connect with us there from the podcast
as well. There's a live chat and if you're at
live that's soone is with a z do org. Not
only do we have a live chat there, we have
an interactive Bible. We have a place where you could
say take notes, a place where you can subscribe to
the podcast or to the YouTube page. And it's a chill,
laid back, non distracted, distracting website over there a lot

(04:11):
that soul and is with a z do Orgy. That's
our online church over there online. So if you're there,
welcome back. Let's go forward. We'll pray. After we pray,
we share this out for like sixty seconds, you know
the routine. If you've been following or you've been coming
to the morning DeVos, we share this out and then
when we come back, we'll get right into today's morning devo.
You ready, Father, I thank you in the name of

(04:32):
Jesus for this day, for this time, for this moment,
for this place, for this space, for this time that
we can devote time to your word to get together
with other believers and any people who don't believe that.
We rely on your Holy Spirit to move the hearts,
including my heart, of every single person who's willing to listen,

(04:53):
every single person is willing to understand, every single person
who is seeking truth, love, mercy, and grace. Thank you,
Log that you show up and our quest for truth,
That you show up in our need for mercy, That
you show up in our need of grace, that you
show up in our need for truth. Thank you, Lord God,
that you are here with us and you are loving God.

(05:14):
You are love, Lord God. So we thank you that
in you we have all things that lead to life,
and that we could overcome barriers. We could overcome fears,
we could overcome rejection, we could overcome excuses, we could
overcome doubts by knowing that You are in us and
working through us. So I speak life. I had your

(05:36):
protection over us right now in the physical, the mental,
and the spiritual. Thank you, Lord God for protecting God
in regarding my family, myself, my wife, our children, our grandchildren,
our family members from the very youngest and the very oldest,
and every single person in between, even our enemies. Bless them.
As well, that they would turn to you and not

(05:57):
be outside of what you have I have for them
in the Kingdom of God. I pray that same prayer
over every single person on the other side of the
screen and on the other side of this mic. And
I say amen to these prayers because I know God
answers them according to every single individual situation that's going
on right now. And if you agree, we say amen

(06:18):
to the Amen. So let's go for it. Help me
share this out sixty seconds. We're gonna share this out.
When we come back, we're gonna get right into today's
morning Devo Overcoming Barriers on Friday's Authentic Imitationlogy. I'll be
right back about that. I put down the wrong volume here,

(07:49):
Hey man, thank you so much for hanging out and
sharing and helping me shut us out. Let's go for it,
ladies and gentlemen. Let's go into the word for the
God's word is God is found and a man, and
that is his word, that is his will. That is
why he left us behind. Amen to show us his
will and purpose for all lives today. And I know

(08:10):
a lot of people don't like that, a lot of
people thinking there's no way that that guy's word. I
see debates all the time online and on YouTube, and
people always say, how do you know that the Bible
is true? How do you know that Christianity is the
only right religion? And how do you know this? How
do you know that? And unfortunately people are still thinking

(08:31):
it's an argument by saying by saying that man created
the Bible, man wrote the Bible. And I'm like, is
that an argument? Was that a statement? We know men
wrote down the Bible, but they were inspired men of God.
It's like taking a pen and writing a letter. Have
you ever took a pen and wrote a letter? Did
the pen write the letter or did you write the letter?

(08:52):
I mean, we know that books, manuscripts, scriptures, tablets, except
the Ten Commandments that was written by the finger of
God himself, But writings are written by human beings, and
we know that a man. That's really not an argument.
I think that's just an excuse of why people don't

(09:14):
go to God, or why people don't want to investigate
the claims of the Lord Jesus. It becomes excuses. So
when we're approaching somebody, we need to approach them in
love and understanding, and even though we might hear those
arguments that are so very weak. Amen, don't make fun
of nobody, don't disrespect Just listen because that's where they're at.
Listen right now, have respectful where they are spiritually, that's

(09:37):
where they are, and they walk. They come against the
Bible because it can't be true. Well, I ain't never
thought the Bible was true either, before Jesus saved my life.
What about you, Amen, So be respectful, be mindful of
people's stories. I can say that now right. But before
Christ changed my life, I was on the other side
of the fence saying, yeah, how do you know the

(09:58):
Bible is true? Or how do you know Christianity is
how do you know Jesus was really alive? I had
the same questions. So I don't point fingers. Amen. Everybody's
a different level of their spirituality and they walk. So
we have to be mindful and respectful. Amen. Even though
I would like to say something right away when somebody
says that about the Bible being written by men, but

(10:20):
I hold my tongue and I listen more intently and intentional, Amen,
to find out what's really behind that type of argument
in their lives. Matthew Chapter ten verses nineteen and twenty,
Jesus said, but when they hand you over, do not
worry about how or what you are to say or

(10:44):
what you are to say, will be given you within
that very hour, For it is not you speaking. But
this is beautiful. It's not you speaking, but the Spirit
of your Father speaking through you. You hear that this

(11:06):
is the Lord Jesus speaking telling us that when we
are handed over, in other words, when we're in front
of certain people, when we're in front of people, don't
be worried about what you're gonna say. And this happens
to me often, I'm like, oh, what am I gonna
say to these people, to this person in front of
me that they're challenging me, they're challenging the gospel, or

(11:27):
maybe they say, listen, I'm going through a hard time.
I need prayer. I don't know what to do sometimes
and I don't know what to say, but I totally
know where to go and who to rely on, Holy Spirit, God,
the Father, the Spirit of God speaking through me, and
he will do the same thing for you. You ever
been in a place where you don't know what to say?

(11:48):
Ever been in a spot where you don't know what
to do. Aymen, don't worry. The Bible says, don't worry.
That's why I tether people. You're gonna have me worrying. Man,
there's enough things to worry about. I'm not gonna be
worrying about tomorrow. I'm not gonna be run about today.
I M not gonna be running about what's gonna happen.
A man, I'm relying on the Holy Spirit, the Spirit
of the Father speaking through me, protecting me, guided me,

(12:11):
and guarded me. And you, my friend, can rely on
the same spirit that rose Jesus from the grave, is
the same spirit that lives in you if you gave
your life to the Lord and Savior, the Lord Jesus.
You can cross reference this with Mark chapter thirteen, verses
eleven to thirteen and Luke Chapter twenty one, verses twelve
to nineteen. It's in the scriptures, in the Gospels. A man, Matthew, Mark, Luke,

(12:33):
and John so overcoming barriers, and we're gonna do this. Man,
We're gonna overcome these barriers because the enemy is a liar.
He doesn't want us to open our mouths. He doesn't
want us to approach anyone with the gospel. He doesn't
want us to do anything a man. He just want
us to sit down, be being worried, and he doesn't
want us to say anything. He just wants us to

(12:54):
go away. Good morning, sister June. Good morning, God bless you.
Welcome back to the morning deep with my sister. Amen. Amen.
So that's where I'm at right now. My heart is
always that safe has always been to go and share
what I know to be true a man with somebody else,
sharing the Gospel. I was an evangelist at heart. God

(13:15):
knew I was going to be out here doing something
on concerning his name, something concerning his kingdom, something concerning
the gospel message. And when I knew, I was commissioned
and I was positioned to go out there and preach
the gospel, baptize people in the name of the Father's
Son and the Holy Spirit. God already knew that I
was all about that life. Amen. In the world, I

(13:36):
was trying to do things that will gather people together,
many people together. Amen. In a place now in Christ,
in the Kingdom of God, I'm still trying to do
the gathering of people together, but now this time I
want them to have the eternal life that Jesus promised
all those who come to him for forgiveness. He will
forgive you, and he will place his Holy Spirit to

(13:58):
live within you in this side of so that way
he will lead you and guide you and guard you
and put you in a position of blessing, so that
way you could be a blessing to others as well.
It's an amazing exchange. Man. Don't gobble up the temporary
sin and call that a day, call it like, well,
that's all that I have. No, you're shortchanging your life

(14:22):
by rejecting the gospel message. By not following the Lord
Jesus Christ. You are actually rejecting the very one that
can give you an abundant life, the everyone who promised
you eternal life, the everyone who is always saying the truth,
always speaking the truth, the very same one that's giving
you the grace the mercy. Don't reject your source of love.

(14:45):
Don't reject the truth, the way the life. Do not
reject the Lord Jesus Christ. Not another day. Don't let
this day go by and be like, you know what,
that's good for the church, and that's good for them
those religious people. That's not for me. I'm saying that
with conviction, because that's what I used to say before
the Lord changed my life. I used to always hear

(15:06):
about Jesus and say, well, that was for the Jewish people,
that was for those people in church, that was for
the Catholic priests. I have all these prejudgments who the
Gospel was for. I never included myself, and somebody right
now is in the same situation. You never include yourself
when it comes to Jesus dying for your sins. You

(15:29):
never include yourself when it comes to the church that's
on fire for God. You never include yourself when it
says that God will forgive you or your sins, and
he will separate your sins as far as east is
to west Man. Fear of rejection is one of the

(15:50):
biggest problems that people have when it comes to sharing
their faith. What to say. It's another excuse like I
don't know what to say. I don't want to be
rejected even when I say something. Those are barriers, and
because of those barriers, a lot of us are silent. Right,

(16:11):
Studies are out there. I don't know how they make
these studies, but they said it's a small percentage of
Christians even sharing with anybody since they got saved. I
don't know how they get those stats. Maybe they're asking
they must be calling people up and asking people taking surveys,
and now they have to rely on the validity of

(16:31):
those surveys. And those people who are taking the surveys,
are they really Christian? Are they really telling the truth?
Or they're just filling out questions? So, you know, I
don't really hold too hard to those stats that people
are putting out through surveys because a lot of people
are not honest, and a lot of people are not Christian.
I think that Christian just because they're in a society

(16:54):
that it's easy to say I'm a Christian, but I'm
doing X y Z. At the same time, I'm a Christian,
but in a lifestyle that's an abomination to God. I'm
a Christian, but I never go to church. I'm a Christian,
I never read the word. I'm a Christian, but I
don't follow Jesus like a lot of people are saying
they're Christian in the United States of America. Right, So

(17:15):
I don't really hold tight to those surveys and to
those stats. God promises to give us wisdom and courage, right,
We'll get the wisdom. Sometimes you show up, open your mouth,
rely on Holy Spirit to speak to the person or
to the people that are in front of you with respect, gentleness, kindness,
mercy and love, and see what God would do through

(17:36):
that moment. See what God will do to those hearts.
Will we get rejected, yes, Will we be hated yes,
Scripture says they hated Jesus first. The spirit of the
Antichrist is all up in here, so they're gonna hate
us too. But sometimes God has been working on somebody
or some people for so long that they've been He's
been sending people to witness to them, preach the gospel,

(18:01):
to share the gospels, to share their testimonies of how
God changed their lives. And you might be the person,
the blessed person to be right there at the time
that this person or those people in front of you
are finally going to give their lives to the Lord. Amen,
And you get to see a soul winning situation right
there in front of your eyes. And that is amazing. Amen.

(18:23):
Blessed is my sister friend, Celia, God bless you. Welcome
back to the morning Devo, my system and my friend.
So I'm telling you that it's exciting. When you share
who you know with somebody who doesn't know Jesus is
an amazing situation. You actually see Holy Spirit God moving

(18:44):
in that person's heart, in that person's life. And for me,
when I saw in my first conversion of something I
was involved with and I saw a soul saved come
to the altar give their life to the Lord, I
was sold out. From that point, I was like, there
it is. We see. We see what God's word and
his power could do to a life who was rejecting
him for many years. And now they're in Christ, and

(19:07):
to this very day, a lot of them are still
following the Lord from what I've known. Good morning, since
the joys, I see you, God, bless you. Thank you
for the blessings to the group in Jesus name. It's
good to see you, my system, my friend. Amen. So
evangelism is not about being perfect sharing the gospel and
sharing the testimony and doing things like I'm doing right
now in the podcast. I'm not perfect. I make mistakes

(19:30):
all the time or a lot of times. Amen. I
try not to. But this is not a script, this
is not rehearsed. I'm not editing videos and using AI
for xyz on the video or on the audio. I'm
here relying on Holy Spirit early in the morning to
give me the words to speak, because I know there
are people watching or listening right now that are in

(19:52):
desperate need of a move a God in their life.
They're in desperate need of a miracle. They're in a
desperate need of salvation. They're in of an abundant breakthrough
when it comes to relationships, when it comes to money, finances, health,
God will give you the courage, wisdom, and strength to
do what God wants you to do in your life today.
Evangelism is not about being perfect. It's about being willing.

(20:16):
It's about being available. It's about trusting and Holy Spirit
that lives and breathes in you and in me. If
you're born again, hey man, here's some examples. Praying with
a coworker who's struggling and gently pointing them to Christ.
That's evangelism, ladies and gentlemen. Because you're trusting in God,

(20:40):
so hear the prayer that you're praying for your coworker
while they're going through a struggling in life. They won't
never forget that they might not understand what you're doing
or what I do. They might not agree with who
we believe in, but they're going to sense the power
of God's Holy Spirit, the one who lives within us. Amen.

(21:01):
And when you lay hands, I always ask permission? Is
it okay? If I put my hand on his shoulder,
it's it okay? If I put my hand on your head?
Is it okay? That if I pray for you out loud? Permission?
Right now? They say no, I don't need your prayer
to want your prayer. Listen, you can still pray. Why
not be right there? Well, when you walk away, say
God bless you walk away? You could speak to the

(21:22):
Father Amen, on behalf of that person that's rejecting him.
God is good. Amen. Yes, it's the joys. Oh, I'm
trying to speak God's word, which is always good. Amen.
Thank you so much for your comment and your encouragement.
So here's another example. Posting scripture and personal testimonies online
in a genuine way, right, be genuine about the scriptures.

(21:46):
I know a lot of people put scriptures up and
try to weaponize scriptures and make their point and get
that point across, or to reject a certain part of society.
They'll put a scripture up and say ha ha. The
word says x Y. Now you have to deal with
it by that's not genuine. Listen, if God gave you,
if God gave you a word or scripture to share it, share,

(22:08):
go ahead, share it. Be intentional and be mindful that
God's watching over his word. To perform with the word
was intended to perform. People who weaponize the scriptures for
their own personal gain a man manipulate people. God's watching that,
and they're going to be held accountable for everything they
do as well as I'm going to be held accountable
for everything I've done with the gospel and where God's work,

(22:30):
and you're going to be hell accountable. Like no one escapes.
God is watching over all of us. He's that big
of a God. People think, oh, I could just slide
through here. God won't notice. God won't see I could
just do this to this person or manipulate that person
where God's work. God won't know. God knows all. He's
all knowing, all loving, all holy, all righteous, omnipresent God.

(22:52):
He knows it all, even before we do what we're
going to do. How about this offering to pray for
a stranger that you meet who shares a burden. Amen,
I've never been well. I have been termed now for
praying for some people. But it's like a low percentage.
Out of one hundred people that asked you, might have

(23:13):
I prayed for you, probably ninety nine said yes. On
the pony one said no. Amen, at least in my
experience and being out there sharing offering to pray for
a stranger. How about this inviting someone to church sounds
very old school, right, sounds old school. But a lot
of people outside of the churches, they don't go because
nobody's ever invited them, Right. That's why I wouldn't go

(23:37):
where I'm not invited either. Come on, like this is
common sense, Like why would I go someplace uninvited, especially
if it's a church community. The other day there was
a four Nights of Hope and I was in day one,
me and my daughter. I bought my ten year old
with me. I need her to see the Gospel being
witnessed to complete strangers. I need her to see the

(23:58):
preaching of the Word just there in neighborhoods that need
the Word every neighborhood needs. But you know what I mean,
I need her to see things in real life I
needed to see the power of God's Holy Spirit, the
miracles that can happen, the giving of gifts, and just
I need her to see that with her own eyes.
So I brought it with me. And the first night

(24:20):
they were preaching Amen, and they had a salvation call
like an altar call, say, who wants to give their
life to the Lord? If you feel God tugging on
your heart, it's few. And I saw a young lady
raise her hands. She had kids in front of her.
And then when it was time, and and the and
the preacher said, all right, come to the front. She

(24:41):
put her hand down and she was afraid. She was
afraid of that invitation. She probably didn't want her kids
to see or whatever. And she told I heard her
say to a friend, I can't stop crying. This is
this is amazing. God is speaking to me. So I
kindly and gently went up to her, and I said,
I'll go with you. I'll walk up with you. Amen,

(25:01):
and your family, don't miss this time. This is between
you and the Lord. Don't worry about anything. And I
grabbed an arm Amen, and I took her up and
I left. She did not know me from a hole
in the wall. I didn't even juice myself. Looked at
my daughter's step back down. My God was like looking.
I said, yeah, that's an important moment. Sometimes all you

(25:21):
have to do is help somebody up and help somebody
in right to the presence of God, and God would
take it from there. That's all it's not. You can't
overspiritualize it. Amen. Please don't. When somebody raises their hand
and puts their hand down when it comes to salvation,
when it comes to giving their life to the Lord,

(25:43):
and you see that, kindly go up to that person.
This is my suggestion. Kindly go up to that person
say listen. I know it might be a little nerve
wracking or embarrassing or but I'll go with you to
the altars. Amen, try not to miss that moment. It's
a beautiful moment and that woman's life will forever be changed.
And kids, young kids saw the change in real time,

(26:04):
so they could testify when they get older. Amen. I
love coming to Churchanne says, you know what I've been through.
I have COVID and not be do not want to
stress to comfort what happened to me. You know what
happened to me. I love walking through indoors and being

(26:25):
in there with a lot of people. Okay, I understand,
I understand totally, Amen, and Sister Joanne. Sometimes the building
is always good to gather with other believers, but maybe
you need things like this. But you know, connect, stay
connected to the community of Christ, your brothers and sisters

(26:45):
and the Lord. Stay connected to the Word of God.
Keep on doing your best to try to get an
environments in the communities. A man, if you can't get
to the church building, make sure your communities like this
that want inspire you, encourage you and pray for you.
Thank you for sharing and being honest. My sister, so
sharing your personal testimony. I'm a testimonial style speaker, Amen.

(27:08):
Lots of times I share my testimony and sometimes I don't.
It all depends on Holy Spirit. Your story of how
Jesus changed your life is a bridge to God and
to a way to share the gospel. There's a lot
of ways that are practical. Way is to share the gospel.
But I'm out of time. Listen, it's the start of
a weekend. I'm go have a busy weekend. Lord willing

(27:29):
I'll be able to provide some music for an international
Day to celebrate cultures around the world, Latino cultures tomorrow.
It's a cultural thing. Amen. And hopefully God will give
you the wisdom and the courage to do that tomorrow, Amen,
from the time of this recording, and that people will

(27:50):
be pleased by the music that think want to hear
from their countries, from their native countries. Amen. But God
bless you. I'll get into the word today. We were
in Matthew the number ten verses nineteen and twenty. I
suggest you read the whole chapter Matthew, Chapter ten to
get the full context of what Jesus was talking about
in those scriptures. Amen. Thank you so much for hanging

(28:10):
out with me for these morning DeVos. God bless you all.
God keep you all, and remember always that God is good. Peace.
