Speaker 1 (00:04):
Amen, we're back again. We're back again. And of course
I got the light off on the other side of
the studio, so I'm at to go ahead and turn
that on. But we're here. God bless you. Welcome back
to the Morning Devo. My name is brother Sam Lopez
aka DJ Sam Rock so winners with a z org. Amen.
We had a power outage. So because of the power outage,
everything was running slow this morning, Amen, and including my
(00:28):
light on the side. So let me go ahead and
fix that real quick or else it's gonna drive me
bonkers when something like that happens in the studio. I'll
be right back. If you have any questions, comments, concerns,
prayer requests, or anything along those lines, please join us
on the live chat right now. Amen. If you're listening
for the podcast, Amen, you're gonna get a short pause
(00:50):
of audio right now. Amen, as I turn on the
light on the other side of the studio, I'll be
right back in a couple of seconds. And man, we're back.
(01:21):
We're back. So let's go forward today it's Friday. From
the time of this recording, it's a Friday, so we
get into authentic imitationology. This is episode one hundred and
thirty four. Wow, one hundred and thirty four times getting
together on the Morning Devo on a Friday for authentic
imitationology and Man. God is faithful to his word. He
(01:43):
does what he says. All we have to do is
show up and be available. Let God work through you. Amen.
And He will work a miracle work through your life. Amen.
So today we're talking about being branded. We're being branded
with a purpose, Amen. Branded branding, being branded by Christ.
(02:06):
I should say it means you carry His mission to
represent His kingdom whenever or wherever you go. So wherever
you are, they goes the brand of Christ. You are
not just saved your sense. You're not just saved just
to be like, oh I'm saved and you go about
(02:27):
your married way and do nothing that changes your life
and other lives. You are being changed, Amen. You are transformed,
redeem renewed, restored, and you're saved and your sense saved
and sent. Amen. God is good. He could do all
of it. Amen. He does all of that. We're gonna
be in Second Corinthians, chapter number five, verse number twenty. Amen,
(02:50):
on today's Morning Devo, We're gonna pray first. After we
pray we'll share this out for like sixty seconds, and
then on the other side of those sixty seconds we'll
get right into the morning. Devo Man. So I'm gonna
try to get through this as quickly as possible because
we started late. So Father, I thank you so much
for today, right now, this moment. Thank you for every
(03:10):
single person that's watching, listening, joining now, will join later,
whether they're with us live or with us on the replay.
I pray your Holy Spirit will continue to guide, guard
and lead us into all truth as your word says.
I pray Lord God, that we will be encouraged that we,
Lord God, will continue to be bold about who we
(03:30):
are in Christ, about the brand that we have according
to your Holy Spirit, which is sealing us, delivering us
a man for such a time as this. I pray
Lord God, your mercy, your grace upon our lives. I
pray Lord God, the word will be so relevant and
so eye opening today that we will apply everything that
we know from your word and everything that we hear
(03:53):
today going forward, and we will move in the momentum
of the Messiah. We will move in a way and
the time of the Lord. Amen, And that we will
continue to move forward and press forward, knowing that we
are called, knowing that we're saved, and knowing that we're sent.
I thank you so much for today and for the
evidence of your Holy Spirit by way of your power
(04:16):
your love for us. I praise peace be still over
every single person that's listening and watching, including myself, my wife,
our children, our grandchildren, everybody and our family from the
very oldest to the very youngest family member, and every
single person in between. I thank you, Lord God that
we could also come together and unite by faith and
(04:36):
pray for our own families. For every single person connecting now,
and Jesus Holy Name, my praise is by faith and
all those who agree. We say Amen to the Amen.
Help me share this out sixty seconds. It'll be quick
when we come back. We'll get right into today's scripture.
I'll be right back, God blessed right. We're back. We're back. Heymen,
(06:22):
the system is slow on power outage. Last night it
was quick too. It was crazy, just flash on and off,
but then reset everything in the studio. So my apologies.
Good morning, since the joyce, I see you. Good morning,
God bless you. Welcome back to the morning Devo. My
system and my friends. Good to see you. Thank you
for the blessings over the group and over my family.
You will be blessed for it as well. Thank you
(06:44):
for your prayers. I try my best to continue to
pray because the Bible says pray without ceasing, so therefore
there's always something to pray about. Amen. And you, being
a prayer warrior yourself, you know what I mean. So
thank you for your comment and your kindness. So let's
go forward. Let's put what we have today on the screen. Amen.
I'm gonna try to be quick. I'm quicker right now
(07:05):
clicking buttons than the computer's catching up. Amen. The system
is slow this morning. Again, my apologies for what happened
over here in the studio with the power outage. But
we're working through it. Amen. God is good, He's faithful
to his word, and we're going to get through this, Amen,
because of the power of God's word. Amen, his word.
So let's go for authentic commentationology. We try to do
(07:28):
these every Friday, five thirty am in the morning. He's
to stand in the time. Amen. We're calling this one
branded with purpose, Branded with purpose. We are not only
saved to save, we're saved we're saved and we're sent,
we're born again to represent the Kingdom of God to
others who need to hear the gospel message. And in
(07:51):
my humble opinion, I think everyone needs to hear the
Gospel message. Second Career Things, chapter number five, verse number twenty.
The Word of God says, we are ambassadors for Christ
as though God were making his appeal through us. That's
how it is, ladies and gentlemen, is asked, God is
(08:14):
making his appeal through us. We, as Christ's representatives, plead
with you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God.
So that's how amazing it is. And this is the
privilege of being a believer in the Lord, our Savior,
(08:38):
that we are ambassadors for Christ, representatives of the most
High God. Right, we are messengers for the Messiah as
though we were making his appeal through us. Not making
this up, ladies and gentlemen. Second Corinthian, Chapter five, verse
number twenty, We as Christ's and representatives, lead with you
(09:02):
on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God. Amen.
And that's out of love, that's out of concern, Amen,
that's out of being branded with purpose. We're not just
here taking up seats in the church. We are out
here in the world, not of the world, but we're
in the world right representing the Christ and the Savior
(09:28):
of the whole entire world. Is that amazing that He
could use you and he could use me to be
ambassadors for the Kingdom of God? Are you kidding me?
The Word of God is true. The Word of God
says it. I believe it. Amen. And let's apply what
we know. Let's apply what we read. Let's apply what
Holy Spirit is speaking to your heart and to my
(09:48):
heart right now, Amen, And go ahead and preach the
Gospel to somebody today. Let God do the work in
someone's heart. Good morning, sister Joanne, I see you. Good morning,
God bless you. Welcome back to the morning devo my
sister of my friend a man. And we're moving here
because I started so laated. But let's go to the notes, Amen,
and see how we're branded with a purpose. Amen, How
(10:10):
we're branded with a purpose. First of all, what's the
true brand of a believer. Let's go through that real quick.
And these are some of the things you're gonna You're
gotta know more things, Amen, about being branded as a
true believer. A true believer that's branded with a purpose. Amen,
(10:32):
loves even when we're hated. That right there, ladies and gentlemen,
is a God thing. There's no way right when you're rejected,
when you're disrespected, when you're not respective for your position
that God has given you and me. Amen, you love
(10:54):
even while you're being hated about this holiness. Staying on
the righteous path in a corrupt on the holy world. Heymen,
does that sound familiar to you? Staying on the righteous
path straight and narrow in a crooked world that's full
of ungodliness. That's, ladies and gentlemen, is the brand of
(11:18):
a true believer. How about this? You still have faith
even when the pressures of life hits you. You're still
gonna have faith. The enemy goes nuts, I think when
he throws everything at the children of God and we
still have faith in the Lord and we still believe
and walk forward. He's like, man, you guys are never
(11:38):
going to stop. You don't have to stop. We don't
fear the devil. Amen, we fear God. We don't fear man.
We fear God. As a matter of fact, we look
at fear as a spirit. And God didn't give us
a spirit of fear. Give us a spirit of sound mind, boldness,
(12:00):
and of courage to move forward. Amen. True brand of
a believer. We're branded with a purpose or with purpose
forgiveness even when we're offended. We forgive even when we're offended.
Saw that displayed after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, his
wife gets up there and forgives the murderer. Right, that's
(12:25):
not normal, ladies and gentlemen. You call it what you want.
You could call it staged, you could call it. You
can have your opinions. But that in itself is a
representation of a true believer. We're supposed to forgive, We're
supposed to love our enemies. That's not normal, Amen, that's supernatural.
(12:46):
And obedience over opinion. Amen. I have a lot of opinions,
and I'm sure you do too. But let's be obedient
to the word of God before we are obedient to
our own opinions. Let's trust the word of God before
we trust the word of this world. Right, Let's be
(13:09):
about our father's business before we get into somebody else's business.
Let us mind our own business. And our business is
Kingdom business, and we are employed, and we are working
for the Savior. We are our ambassadors. Amen. It's like
the Word says, it's as if God himself is making
(13:33):
his appeal through us, right, pleading with people to reconcile
themselves back to the Lord. Reconcile back to God. Amen.
Your brand is your witness. It's not really this podcast,
this live stream that's a witness to God. It's actually
(13:55):
the life that's lived after the podcast is over right,
It's actually the life that's lived outside of a church service,
or outside of a ministry event, or outside of your circle.
What are you doing in the Kingdom of God? For
(14:15):
the kingdom God? And listen. Like I always tell people,
there's no pressure for you to be XYZ to act
a certain way just because branded as a believer. You
just be who you are according to who God says
you are. Amen, and you'll see that there's gonna be
less and less and less pressure. Right. People say it's
(14:38):
hard to be a Christian, it's hard to follow Christ,
and show me a verse. What's hard is our flesh
is trying to brand us. But let the blessed Lord
bless us. Amen, Let the Lord lead us. Jesus said,
his burden is light, his yoke is easy, So why
are we saying it's hard to follow Jesus. Amen. Amen,
(15:02):
Peter Zimba, God bless you. Welcome back to the morning,
dev with my friend. So we are therefore Christ's ambassadors,
as though God were making his appeal through us. So
your lifestyle is already preaching without you saying a word,
without me saying the word. It's actually preaching louder than
your posts on social media. Now, care for what you
(15:26):
post on social media. If you're not lining up with
what you're posting, Amen. Just like the saying goes, you know,
if you're gonna talk to talk, you need to walk
the walk in the social media. We're gonna post something,
make sure you're proving that your post. Amen. And there's
a lot of confusion or bipolar posts out there. Amen.
(15:48):
One day you see a post of somebody praising the Lord,
hands lifted high, Amen, and then the next day you
see a post of them outside showing body parts. Right,
we need to be careful of what we're posting. If
we're representing the Kingdom of God. We're supposed to be
ambassadors for Christ as if God is making his appeal
(16:12):
through us. So when we're posting something that's not righteous.
When we're posting something that's suggestive, that's sexually suggestive, and men,
we're not doing a great job at representing the Kingdom
of God. Right, So take your role seriously. I take
it seriously. Right. This is not like a rehearse thing.
(16:34):
You could tell that this is not rehearsed and it's
not polished. I don't need this to be all polished
with advertisements and commercials on everything. If I had backing
for that and somebody wanted to, you know, help me
through and make the podcast kind of like that a
man praise the Lord. But that's not the goal here.
(16:56):
The goal here is to encourage you to read the
scriptures for your self, to get together on these morning DeVos,
to devote time to the Lord first part of your day, Amen.
So that way you can see the Lord move in
your life personally, so you could be a witness to
what God is doing in your life. And you're gonna
want to be telling other people about what God could
(17:17):
do in their lives. Amen. Anisha afriand ZAA good morning,
God blessed. Welcome to the morning Devo, my friend. So
that's what we do over here, Amen. This is nothing
for us, nothing scripted. We are inspired here by Holy
Spirit God to move in the way He wants us
to move in a direction that he wants us to move.
So ultimately, we gotta have to guard our brand. Amen.
(17:41):
We're branded with purpose, so we're gonna have to guard
our purpose every day. Every day you're either being strengthened
or weakened by this world system. But I mean that
by that is that if you see the evil, Amen,
you're gonna strengthen yourself. We're good and last time I checked,
(18:05):
the only one who is good is God. So go
to his word. Amen, Get the Word in you, so
that way you could get the Word through you, out
of you and do good in this world. So protect
your brand. Guard your brand. Every day you either strengthen
or weaken the brand of Christ in your own personal life.
That's why it's important to surround yourself with other believers. Amen.
(18:29):
Now I'm not suggesting that you just have believing friends
Christian friends that would be real narrow, or we need
to be friends with unbelievers, or else would how else
would they see an example of the Gospel in real time?
How else would they know about the Lord Jesus, if
(18:50):
they don't have a preacher or someone showing them the way,
the truth and the life are introducing them to our Savior. Amen.
So we need to have friends who don't believe, so
that way they could hear the Gospel. They won't hang
out too long if they truly don't want the Lord, right,
they won't want to be around you or me, if
they just want to be in the world and they
(19:11):
already have their heart hardened and they don't want to
hear anything about who we believe in and what we believe.
So you're get to notice that right away. You don't
have to chase after people and try to force them
to believe what we believe. Just show up. Let God
use you. Amen, speak Life, speak truth. Stand in your
(19:34):
position as an ambassador for Christ for the Kingdom of God. Amen,
and watch what happens. Either people will receive your message
or they will reject your message. Ultimately, they're not rejecting
you or they're not rejecting me. Ultimately, they're rejecting God's
word and God's Messiah. Amen. And it's sad when people
(19:54):
reject the message of the Gospel just because they already
have an idea idea, or they're already in circles that
say no, that's not true, that can't be Stay away
from those Christians. There are people out there that keep
us at arm's length. They don't want nothing to do
with the Christian lifestyle, and we have to respect that.
(20:18):
You could argue people with scripture all you want, but
you can't argue people into this Kingdom of God. We
weren't forced. How many of us were forced into the
Kingdom of God? Think about it, how many of us
were forced to believe in Jesus. That God himself forced
us to believe in him or to be saved, or
was it a forced salvation? No, So in the same way,
(20:42):
we shouldn't be trying to force people to believe what
we believe. We should allow Holy Spirit to move in
the lives of the hearts of the people who are
willing to listen to the message of the Gospel right
and allow Holy Spirit to do the convincing and the convicting.
A man, as God would draw people to himself. But
we are ambassadors. We are representatives of the Most High God.
(21:03):
We are representatives of the Kingdom of God. So let's
be who we are in Christ Guard your brand. Galatians
six seventeen says, I bear all my body the marks
of the Lord Jesus. Wow. Right. There was a song
called Scars of Love a man way back in the
day by a group called Tka, and it reminds me
(21:27):
of the scars that Jesus has on his body, the
scars of love. Even though it's a stretch by comparing
the lyrics to that song to what Jesus did, but
when you think about those words scars of love, you
could actually think of Jesus a man. He took the
stripes on his own body, took the pain, amen, took
(21:50):
the ridicule, took the accusations, humbling themself to a form
of a man to get to the cross, because he
knew at the cross he was set so once and
for all the sin debt that we couldn't pay, we
couldn't afford to pay. But Jesus himself took the mission
and took the burden upon himself. Amen, and at the
(22:13):
cross he conquered sin and death. Right. That should be
amazing to somebody right now, And you might be thinking, well,
why would he do that for me? I used to
say that. I used to ask that all the time
before I was saved. He wouldn't do that for me.
He doesn't even know me. Why would someone die for me?
That's why I used to ask people who were presenting
(22:34):
the gospel message to me. I said, that's good for you,
but why would he do that for me? Amen? Until
he revealed himself to me? Then I realized, Wow, God's
a god of love, grace, mercy. He will meet you
where you are in order to take you where He is. Incredible, incredible.
Here's the challenge. Ask yourself daily or ask yourself often? Right?
(23:00):
Who do I represent? And I'm out of time here?
But who do I represent? What message does my life broadcast?
What are we broadcasting right now? And am I branded
by Christ? Or am I branded by the culture? Amen?
That's all I have amount of time. Sorry for the
short shortness of this, but I came in late because
(23:22):
of the system not being working at its optimal sewod
Crinten shot the five verse twenty. That's where we are.
I suggest you read Second Corinthan shut the five the
whole chapter. Thank you so much for hanging out with me.
I hope you were blessed. I hope you get what
God is saying amen, and apply what God is saying.
Brother John, God bless you. Good morning. God bless you,
(23:43):
and thank you for coming through my brother and my friend.
Also sister Joyce, thank you so much for your agreement.
We agree with the words, so we say amen to
the amen. So God bless you all. God keep you all,
and remember always always remember this that God is good.
