Speaker 1 (00:02):
Morning Family, Good morning, God bless you. Welcome back to
the Morning Devo. It's Friday. So we switch gears and
we get into authentic imitationology. This is actually episode one
thirty eight, one hundred and thirty eight. Times we got
together and we start to focus on how we could imitate,
authentically imitate the most successful person who has ever lived

(00:24):
on this entire planet, the Lord Jesus himself. Amen. And
of course, during the time of this recording, we are
in the Christmas season. Amen. So people are experiencing the
gift of gratitude, the heart to give, the position that
we have in Christ is being really recognized, Amen, in

(00:45):
our personal lives as we share love, kindness, right, give people, grace, mercy, forgiveness, Amen,
Because we know that we were given this gift from
the Lord himself. We know that the sacrifice of Jesus
Christ the greatest gift that we could ever have. Amen.
So we are grateful. I'm grateful. Amen. So today we're
calling this one Heart of Christmas, Heart of Christmas. Think

(01:10):
about it. I know it's the commercialism of Christmas. Right.
Kids are expecting Right, it's no longer you know, kids
are no longer like humble to say, well, you know,
whatever you give, I'm grateful for it. No, they're expecting

(01:32):
some gifts around Christmas. Amen, And that's because the culture
has made it that way. But the heart of Christmas
is really not about what's under the Christmas tree, right,
So I wrote, Christmas is not about what's under the tree.
It's about who stepped into the world. Right. Christmas is

(01:52):
not about the gift that's under the tree. Christmas is
about the one who put himself on a tree. Amen.
I say Chapter nine and verse number six one of
the most popular verses during the Christmas season when we
are preaching about the Lord's birth, the prophetic word through
the prophet Isaiah that God gave Isaiah, and then chapter nine,

(02:17):
verse number six. We're going to be there today. That's
where we're going to start. So if you have any questions, comments, concerns,
prayer requests, or anything along those lines, please don't hesitate
to leaving on the live chat. That's what we're here for. Amen.
So if this is your first time of the morning Devo,
we try to get on here Mondays to Fridays five
thirty am Easter Standard time, and we try to give

(02:37):
you at least twenty twenty five minutes into the word Amen.
As I share comments every but most importantly, I share
the Word of God and inspire you. Hopefully I can
inspire you and encourage you to read the Word of
God for yourself, so that way you will miss out
on the Lord's blessings over your life personally in real time.
So questions, comments, concerns, prayer requests, or anything along those lines,

(03:00):
please leave it on a live chat, and'll be afraid
to leave anything on a live chat. Also, if you're
with us at live dot so win is with a
z dot org, my suggestive website for these morning debos
is live dot so Winners with a z dot org.
Amn is a live chat there, an interactive bible there,
there's a place you could subscribe to my podcast, a

(03:21):
place where you could take notes. Amen, And it's kind
of it's legit over there. Amen. Is more relaxed, not
a lot of pop ups, and you won't be distracted
by the social media things that go on on social media.
But if you're on social media and that's your platform, Amen,
thank you for coming through. And if you're listening on
a podcast, thank you so much for your listening. Ears.
So let's go for it. Let's go for it. Let's

(03:42):
pray first. After we pray, we'll share us out for
like sixty seconds. Help me share this out to as
many people as possible. And then when we get back
over the sixty seconds on the other side, we'll get
into Isaiah chapter number nine, verse number six. Father, I
thank you that the profit prophiteside according to your will
and purpose of your coming, of your entrance into this

(04:05):
world by way of a virgin mother. Thank you, Lord God,
that you have found us, that you have kept us,
and that you have completely changed our lives as soon
as we had an encounter personal encounter with you. A
praty Lord God, that during this Christmas season, that no
discouragement will hit the lives of those dads or the
moms that kind of look at their budget, look at

(04:28):
their finances and look at their children and their family
and kind of like get guilty of the fact that
they can give out to every single one of them.
Oh God, let us understand it's not about really filling
the Christmas tree with gifts. Let us understand that it's
about who came into the world, and that we celebrate

(04:48):
a person, not a thing. We celebrate a relationship, not
a religion. We celebrate the ultimate gift, not material gift,
but a man in the form of Man, God, Man, Jesus,
the Christ, who came into this world to live a
perfect life, to establish the Kingdom of God. Preach the Gospel,

(05:09):
preach repentance what Jesus did. Thank you Lord for preaching that.
And I thank you, Lord God for this season that
we call Christmas. I thank you, Lord God that we can,
as believers, know that we can hope and trust and
put our faith totally in You because you are the
author and profector and finisher of our faith. Thank you,
Lord God for wrapping up us as your gift to

(05:31):
this world, and that we can be held accountable and
made real, united in the power of your Holy Spirit.
And that you continue to magnify your name, and you
continue to touch hearts and continue to unite hearts, and
you continue to give us a belief that is not
only based on what's in it for us, but based

(05:53):
on what you did through us and how others could
get the Gospel as well. Thank you for today. I
pray a head of protection over our lives physically, emotionally
and spiritually over my wife, myself, my family, our children,
our grandchildren, our family members from the both ends, from
the very youngest to the very oldest, and every single
one in between. And I pray I head your protession

(06:14):
over every single person that's connecting now that will connect later,
you and your family to be blessed, peace be still
in the powerful name of Jesus. And then thank you,
Lord God for the willing ear that you have every
single time that you hear the prayers of your children
and the powerful name of Jesus. I pray this with
thanksgiving by faith in Jesus Name. Amen to the amen.

(06:36):
And so if you agree with the prayer, you know
you says Amen, we're agreeing with the word, and we're
agreeing with the prayer, and when 're niting in faith.
Good morning, sister Joanne, I see you. Good morning, God
bless you. Welcome back to the morning Devo. My sister
and my friend help me share this out sixty seconds.
When we come back, we'll get right into today's morning
Devo Christmas the Heart of Christmas. Amen, I'll be very bad. Amen,

(08:11):
We're back. Thank you so much for helping me shut
this out. Sister Joyce, I see you. Good morning, God,
bless you, welcome to the morning. Deal with my system
and friend. Thank you for the blessings to the group
and to my family. I pray a blessing over you
and your family as well during the season. Amen. I
say amen to the prayers. Yes, let's agree with what
God wants us to agree with. Amen. And that's his word,

(08:31):
his promises, his provision, his power, his authority, his love,
his grace, his mercy a man, his redemption, his forgiveness,
and he's the ultimate gift anyway. So heart of Christmas
is based on what Jesus has done all that cross,
and we could call that cross a tree. Amen. We
don't worship the tree during Christmas. Amen. And we don't
worship the tree that Jesus crucified was crucified on, But

(08:54):
we worshiped the one who stepped out of that cross,
off that cross, stepped out of the grave and gave
us eternal life. Amen. That's who we worship, right, No
idols over here. Right. So let's get this on the
screen for those who are watching, for those meet the
Orgy to Celebrator network, We're gonna read this word for word.
If you're on the website, So winners with the Zeta orgy. Amen.

(09:16):
If you click the love stream tab and we go
to the lot stream page, is a new chat box
I put right underneath the lives so you could chat
with me over there as well. Amen. And as soon
as I see your chat, Amen, I'll get back to you. Amen.
Haven't been checking lately, my bad event. There's been a
lot going on, So let's go for it. We get

(09:36):
this up on the screen, authentic commentationology. Amen. It makes
Friday for me at least so much better when we
can start and continue these series on Fridays. Heart of
Christmas a Man, Heart of Christmas, Isaiah chapter number nine,
verse number six. This is the prophecy for to us

(09:58):
a child shall be born. To us, a son shall
be given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called Wonderful counselor Mighty God,
everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. And of course you could

(10:21):
find the prophetic utterances and the echoes of this prophecy
and Isaiah chapter twenty five and verse number one, forty
and verse number nine through eleven, Matthew chapter twenty eight,
verse eighteen, and Luke chapter two, verse number eleven, for
to us a child shall be born. Of course, this
is hundreds of years before this actually happened. The Bible

(10:44):
is incredible. The prophetic scheme of the Scriptures is unmatched
by any other prophecy, prophetic book, or anything like this.
This is like pinpoint the evidence of these prophecies being fulfilled.
Of course, when Jesus stepped on a scene, this prophecy
was fulfilled to us a son, right. Notice it didn't

(11:06):
say a daughter. Notice it didn't say anything else. Is
said that a son, precise son, shall be given, not created.
And to know that the government shall be upon his
shoulder a man on heaven and on earth, a man,
and his name shall be called wonderful counselor. And yes,

(11:29):
Jesus counseled, and yes he was a wonderful counselor. And
he is a wonderful counselor by way of his Holy Spirit. Now,
Mighty God. On some translations say Almighty God. This translation
says Mighty God, Amen, and ever Lasting Father, Prince of Peace,
the Lord Jesus. So Christmas season, when you think about it,

(11:51):
and why so many of us celebrate Christmas, we're celebrating
the heart of Christmas, which is the pulse of Christmas,
which is the beat of the heart of Jesus. Amen.
And that's what makes it exciting, at least for me.
I become screwgeous around Christmas season based upon the commercialism
of you know, now we gotta get gifts and now

(12:14):
I'll do this person with this tree and decorate this
and you know, to compare ourselves with this stuff. I'm
not with that stuff, amen. I'm with the heart of Christ,
the heart of Christmas. Amen. You can't get And I
know people like to put the exmists and all that stuff. Amen,
Praise God. But it's Christmas. Amen. Ever since I was

(12:37):
a kid, it was spelled with Christ in the beginning,
and people want to x that out for whatever reason. Amen.
I think it's just a rebellion, a rebellious spirit and
the spirit of Antichrist. Amen. I know I might be
overthinking that, but why change the spelling when we all
know how to spell Christmas. That's just my thing. Amen.

(12:58):
It's just a part of what going on in the
world as we see it evolving into godlessness, But not us, right,
we are in the Kingdom of God. Amen. Although we
see the godlessness going on, we become more and more
and more authentic imentationology meanings that become more and more
like Christ. Amen, on this side of eternity. So even

(13:21):
if there's no gifts for Christmas, even if you're struggling
right now to give gifts to every single person that
you love, I know I struggle every year. I look
at the family, the kids, all of my family, and
I know I can't. Really, I mean I can, technically,
I can give a gift to every one of those children. Amen.

(13:43):
But it's going to literally cost me. Amen. And it's
not really about the finances, even though I could use
a better financial situation in my life. God knows that personally,
But it's about me sharing what I have. The greatest
gift ever is the Lord Jesus in my life at least. Amen.

(14:05):
But I know, when you're a kid, you don't want
you know, you want something that you could play with,
You want something that you could look at. You want
something that you can share with your other friends. You
want something you can brag about with your friends. Amen.
Only if we knew, Only if I knew when I
was a kid, this greatest gift, about this greatest gift, Amen,
I think my whole mindset during Christmas time would have

(14:28):
changed for the better, not for the worst. I'm just
saying and shout out to all the parents that are
raising your children, Amen, in the ways of the Lord,
so that they could be grateful for what they have already. Amen.
A humble child is rare to see a humble child,
especially during these seasons of Christmas and gift giving. But

(14:48):
when I do see a humble child, it blesses my heart.
I'm like, Wow, they are truly grateful for what they have, Amen.
And whatever you give them, they are so happy. My
little daughter five years old, when you get her gift,
she always says, this is the greatest gift ever. This
is what I always wanted. She always says this, Oh,
this is what I always want it. She makes you

(15:09):
feel so blessed to give. Amen, And I think that's
the way we should be feeling. We're blessed to give.
But we have been given so much. Amen. We have
been given so much and we have all that we need. Amen.
Since joy says Amen, I agree, they x out Christ
and Christmas. Yeah, for whatever reason. Amen. To me is silliness,

(15:30):
but that's the way it is. But Amen, I'm still
spelling it the way I grew up spelling it christ miss.
So even if there's no gifts under the tree, right,
the heart of Christmas has not been lost. Don't be discouraged.
You still have the heart of Christmas. Right. So, a
lot of the season, especially in the culture, so much

(15:52):
of the season tells us that joy comes in boxes,
bags and bowls, that you can only experience joy if
you're experiencing a present, or if you're getting a present
or giving a present. Right. But the very first Christmas
reminds us that God's greatest gift didn't arrived wrapped in gold,

(16:14):
didn't come in a box, right. The gift of God
arrived in flesh, rapped in flesh. Amen. Right, the scripture
says Christ among us, Emanuel, God with us, Amen. The
word became flesh. He wrapped himself in flesh. Jesus was

(16:36):
born not in the palace. Even though he was the
King of kings. He still isn't is the king of
kings and the Lord of lords. But he wasn't born
in a palace. But he was born in a humble way,
in a stable right, not surrounded by luxurious things, not
surrounded by you know, cars, and a mansion and people

(16:58):
that serve him. No, he was humilified. If that word,
he came in a humble way. He came in a
way that we all have come through a woman's wound. Amen,
to show us his humanity and show us that he understands,
and he could relate. We have a high priest who

(17:19):
could relate to us. Amen. But Manuel, Brother, Manuel, I
see you, Good morning, God, bless you. Welcome back to
the morning, Devo, my brother, my friend. So havn't touched
earth in the simplest way possible, having touched Earth in
the simplest way possible. If Christmas feels like it's real

(17:39):
quiet this year, right, or maybe it doesn't feel like
it felt in years past. If your finances are not right, Amen,
if the tree looks different, it's kind of empty, it's
kind of you know, it's kind of sad, Amen. Or
if your expectations fell short of what the season was

(18:00):
supposed to be, don't worry. You're not missing Christmas a man.
If you're thinking about that as being Christmas and that only,
then yeah, you're missing the mark. But focus clearly on
what the prophet Isaiah said, what was going to happen
and what did happen? Manuel says, Jesus was born in
horrible conditions. Wow, Jesus understands us because of his own suffering. Amen,

(18:26):
thank you, Manuell. You're not missing Christmas if you're experiencing
a quiet year. If your finances are tight right now
and you can't give to every single person that's on
your Christmas list, if you have one, that's not the
true heart of Christmas. A man, it's part of it
because of how the culture painted it. Amen, But the

(18:49):
simplicity of Christmas is about the Christ right, the Christ,
the Lord, the Jesus, the Messiah, the Machiic McGee, the anoint,
the Son of God, the one who was given not creating,
the one who was given right to us. Christmas is
not about what's under the tree, right, Like I said earlier,

(19:11):
it's about who stepped into the world and put himself
on a tree to satisfy our send. That what we
couldn't afford and what the Lord didn't have to pay, Right,
that's grace. That's grace. Jesus is the gift that meets
us when we have nothing left to give. Right, what

(19:37):
else are we going to pour out? If we don't
have something poured in. God has given us every single gift,
spiritual gift that we need to live a godly life.
And so who's on display here during Christmas? Is it
what we have? Or is it who has given us
everything that we have? Right? Is it about the gifts

(19:59):
under the tree which praise God? If you are blessed financially,
praise the Lord? Right, I celebrate that. And if we
honor God through our finances as well, we will be blessed,
and we are blessed. How about the people who are
not experiencing that right now? Is there's something wrong in

(20:20):
the life? Are they missing something? Are they missing Christmas? No?
As long as they have the heart of Christmas, they
know what truly really matters. Amen. And if we could
teach our kids in a younger generation this, Amen, the
simple humility and the humbleness of Christmas. Amen, will really
change our hearts and change our focus on what the

(20:41):
Christmas season should be about. Amen, the heart of Christmas.
When there are no presents to open, there is still
peace to receive. Amen. Thig about it. When I might
my worst situation financially, I think about those are homeless,
those who who are without those in need right now,

(21:02):
and I literally change my focus off of me and
my situation and put my focus on how can I
help those people? And every single time that happens in
my life, and man, God provides a way for me
to help not only myself my family, but to help
others who are in need and more need than we are. Right,
it's a giving situation heard of. Christmas is about giving,

(21:26):
not receiving as much. Right, Jesus is a gift. He's
God's answer to our emptiness, our tiredness or weariness, and
our longing like we want things so much, so badly.
And Jesus is the answer, God's answer. He's God's final answer.

(21:48):
He is the completion of Yahweh. When there's no celebrations plan,
there was still hope available. So listen to this, no
presence to open, still you still have peace to receive.
When there's no celebrations plan, you still have hope available.

(22:10):
That's why Isaiah says, for unto us a child is born,
unto us, a son is given. Where are we missing?
We're not missing amen. This prophecy has come to pass.
We're not hoping in this, we are living in this.
We are in realization of this prophecy that came to
pass right, the prophecy that came to pass Manuel says,

(22:33):
the fellowship of suffering. Yes, when we go through things, Amen,
we are actually being blessed, and we are suffering like
Jesus suffered. Amen. And we are union with that suffering,
and we feel the love and compassion for others during
that suffering. Manuel says, burying one another's burdens absolutely and

(22:54):
carrying those burdens unto the feet of Jesus. So notice
the word and the prophecy is given right. God is
a giver by nature. He gives supernaturally to us. Grace
is never earned, and grace is always received. God is

(23:15):
the God of grace. No one could gain in favor
with the Lord by doing good things by giving a
lot of gifts, by giving a lot of money. Amen,
Your money and my money can't satisfy to send that,
So we might as well forget about that. A lot
of money could change a lot of lives. I agree, Amen,
And when you have a lot, it could really, you know,

(23:37):
lessen some stress in other areas. But if you stay
focused on the gift giver, the ultimate gift giver, Amen,
you will always have joy, you will always have peace,
you will always be humble. Amen. In the simplest ways possible,
God will provide you're not missing out on Christmas, Ladies
and gentlemen, you're not. Jesus came to bring light in

(24:00):
to the dark places. And if you found yourself in
a dark place a man, guess who's gonna bring the light? Either,
it's gonna be near you as believers, bringing light into
situations and other lives. But ultimately it's the light of Christ. Right.
He brings comfort to the broken hearted, salvation to the
world that can't save itself. Think about it, No matter

(24:23):
what kind of fame, fortune, popularity, if you're a heavy
duty influencer, all of that can't even line up with
the salvation that God has provided and that he offers.
Unlike material gifts, God's love, the love of Jesus, right,

(24:44):
doesn't fade out. It doesn't break, It doesn't it doesn't
go out of style. Amen, it doesn't lose its value.
Right You ever had a new car? I was. I've
been fortunate to have a brand new car a couple
of times, and as soon as you drive out the lot,
that car loses its value. But when you receive a
gift from God, that gift, right, whatever it is, never

(25:10):
loses its value. We're not talking about a superficial or
material gift. We're talking about supernatural a God who gives.
And we have what we have because we have the
Lord Amen. So unlike material gifts, the love of God
doesn't fade. The love of God doesn't break right. The
love of God never runs out. His mercy knew every morning, guaranteed,

(25:36):
whether or not you believe that or not, God's mercy
is new every morning. Don't We don't wish this to happen,
or we don't wish this to be. It is because
God is. God's mercy is there. Because God is the
God who gave us this mercy and this grace. You're
not missing out a Christmas. So this Christmas, if all

(25:58):
you have is the breath in your lungs and faith
in your heart, you are experiencing the more than enough right.
Grace teaches us that what we have from God is
more than enough. A heart of gratitude means that we
have a heart that says, God, you have given me

(26:19):
more than enough. Because Emmanuel God with us, is still
here with us don't go. He doesn't. He doesn't go
away on vacation. Imagine if if we sin, then Emmanuel
le's he's not with us or his Holy Spirit leaves right.
How about when we don't feel like worshiping, then the
Holy Spirit God leaves us. Imagine if we have a

(26:42):
bad thought and the Holy Spirit leaves us, this will
be This will be not a good relationship. You know,
it will be based on what we're doing. But Holy
Spirit doesn't live in us based on what we are doing.
Holy Spirit lives in us based upon what He has
already done. Amen. Think about that. So, if yours no

(27:03):
gifts for Christmas, you can always experience the forgiveness of God.
If there's no gifts for Christmas, there is a way
to restore this restoration. If there's no gifts for Christmas,
there is eternal life, and that gift will never be
taken away from any of us. Amen. So I hope

(27:23):
you getting what I'm saying. Amen. During the season, and
I know a lot of people could be discouraged for
whatever reason life throws at us. Life gets hard, Amen.
But living in Christ Amen, means the world means more
than this world could offer. So I hope you're understanding
Isaiah chapter number nine. Read the whole chapter for yourself.

(27:44):
We camped out at verse number six. Amen. We saw
the prophecy of who was to come and what was
to happen. Amen. And that prophecy has been fulfilled, and
now we're experiencing the prophetic move of God in our
lives in real time during our time. Amen. I'm sorry, man, well,
I missed all your comments over here, but I'll be
reading them and then scroll down. Amen. But Manuel says,

(28:08):
Jesus made a way for us to have direct access
to God at all times. I agree. Thank you so
much for your comments. My bad, and scroll down to
see the rest of them. But I'll be reading them, amen,
And I know others will read your comments. Brother Manuel,
and Sister Joanna, Sister Joyce, thank you so much for
connecting with us as well. So I'm out of here.
God bless you all. Got to keep you all and

(28:30):
remember always that God is good. Peace.

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say.
