Speaker 1 (00:03):
Wanning family. Good morning, God bless you. Welcome back to
the Morning Devo. It's a new week, a new day,
a new start. Amen, and enough is enough for all
those who had enough the wickedness of this world.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
That means you're waking up.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
You're waking up and God is showing you that there's evil,
suffering and all that that's going on in the world.
There's a solution onto those issues. The solution to the
problem of sin is the Lord Jesus.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
So he's waking you up, he's nudging you, he's opening
up your eyes, opening up your ears, opening up your
heart of understanding. And it's because he wants to rescue us.
He wants to save us, he wants to bedeem us.
He wants to give us the born again experience. Today
on the Morning Devot, we're gonna come against something that
I see a lot on TV and some major churches

(00:54):
and the mainstream churches and just places around and maybe
even your region. You've seen this. People are celebrating sin.
People are celebrating sin, And I'm not really focused on
those who are celebrating sin who don't know the Lord.

(01:17):
I'm starting to see, or you're probably starting to see
that those who proclaim or profess to be born again
believers Christians are celebrating sin. Let it not be said
of you, and let it not be said of me.
Christians are called to confront sin, not to celebrate it.

(01:39):
So the question is, are we more excited about the
world's approval than God's holiness? Are you wanting to be
just a common Christian? Meaning that you go to church,
you do your Sunday thing, you do your during the
week thing when your church meets up, and then you

(01:59):
go back to the same old, same old, which Jesus
gives us a new life, a born again experience, we're
gonna have to go back to the same old, same old.
You ever heard a believer say answer the question of hey,
how you doing, and the believer says, same old, same.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Oh, we're not doing that, any man, not over here,
excuse me, I'm sorry, I'm looking at the screen. I'm
gonna make sure everything's up and run. Okay, we're not
doing that.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
We celebrate holiness, righteousness, we don't celebrate sin. And those
days for the believers that.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Should be over now.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
If you continue to be in this sinful behavior, right whatever,
that sinful behavior is in your life.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
You're the one that knows that you and God.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Then my suggestion is to check to see if we're
still in a faith, because if you're losing conviction of
celebrating sin and you're not convicting anymore, and now you
kind of like sin, go to church, sin, go to
church sin, do ministry sin, do ministry sin, and get
other people to sing with you, and then hide things

(03:17):
and then swear secrecy amongst another and then do church.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Then you might check. You might have to check to
see if you're still in the faith. Amen.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
And I'm speaking to the man on the screen and
behind the mic as well. I would have to check
myself too. We're gonna be in Romans chapter one, verse
number thirty two. If you have any questions, comments, concerns,
pray requests, or anything along those lines, please do not
hesitate to leave it on a live chat. That's what
we're here for, Amen. We're here to celebrate holiness, and

(03:48):
we're here to gather together.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
We're here to communicate.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
We're here to devote some time to the Lord first
part of the day, middle part of the day, or
maybe the end part of the day, depending on your
work schedule or your schedule period.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Amen, Let's make.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Sure we create and carve out some time to devote
our lives and devote our behavior to the scriptures, to
the Holy Bible.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
To that way, we could be encouraged that we could
be growing in the faith and knowledge of who the
Lord Jesus is in our lives.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Amen. So let's pray first.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
After we pray, we'll share this out for like sixty seconds,
and then on the other side of those sixty seconds,
we'll get right back into today's morning devo celebrating sin.
I know for a morning devo is that even what
are we talking about?

Speaker 2 (04:36):
What are we doing? Right?

Speaker 1 (04:37):
But God is good Amen? And he I'm a thinker
and I'm very observant, and I just just ask God
a lot of questions, Amen. Daily asking God questions. I'm
asking Him for help in some areas of my life.
I have asked asking the Lord questions and a.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Beautiful thing about our Lord.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
And I will say with Jesus Amen, he responds God,
he has Holy Spirit living within us, right, and the
Holy Spirit is leading us into all truth.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
There's order in God's Kingdom. Amen.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
And Holy Spirit is leading us into all the truth
of His order, and because Holy Spirit is holy right.
He recognizes when we're celebrating things that we should not
be celebrating. He recognizes when we're acting and behaving certain
ways that we should not be acting or behaving because

(05:32):
we're representing the King of kings and the Lord of lords,
where Jesus represented us.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Amen, And we need to just have our eyes open and.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Be aware and be alert and be ready to give
the reason for why we believe. Amen, for the hope
that's in us. And we need to do that with
gentleness and respect. So Father, I thank you for right
now this moment. Thank you, Lord God for considering us today,
for watching over us, for keeping us safe, for waking
us up. Thank you, Lord God that even though hardships

(06:04):
are here, we will endure through those hardships because we
know the other end of those hardships. We know that
all these things that are happening in our lives and
around our lives and in this world will one day
come to an end. You're coming back, and we thank you,
Love God for your tryumph and return. But in the meantime,
help us to be just active in the kingdom, active

(06:27):
in our faith, active in the community and our culture
as born again believers, representatives of the Most High God,
ambassadors for Christ, and part of what the Kingdom of
God is doing on this side of eternity. Thank you,
Lok God for encouraging us. Thank you, Lord God for
your enthusiasm. Thank you Love God for protecting us and

(06:48):
guiding us and protecting our families and our households and
our finances and our health. Thank you, Lord Jesus, you
are all awesome, a man in all your ways. And
thank you Lord for providing a path of righteousness and
for ordering our steps. I pray, Lord God, I hetersection
over myself physically, emotionally and spiritually, over my wife, over

(07:09):
our children, over our grandchildren, and every single family member
from the very youngest to the very oldest, and every
single one in between. I pray the same prayer daily
for every single person on the other side of the
screen and on the other side of this mic. In
the powerful name of Jesus. I pray this's by faith,
and those who agree we say amen to the Amen.
Help me share this out sixty seconds. When we come back,

(07:31):
we'll get into Romans, chapter number one, verse number thirty two.
I'll be right back back, were back. Let's go for it.

(09:02):
Let's connect by way of the Word of God.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Amen. To me. Take the Word of God is.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
Speaking, Amen, And we're engaged in it, and we're activating
and applying what we're learning. Day by day, we're growing
in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and our savior,
the Lord Jesus Christ. If you're at cell O Radio Network,
so when is with a z org on the app
or on the website, Amen, make sure you visit the
donate page so that way you can see exactly what

(09:27):
we're trying to do in the ministry.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
And hopefully you will be prayerful about donating. But please
first and foremost pray for the ministry. Pray for those
who are in the ministry, my family, our friends, all
those are sponsors, all those who are.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Connected to the ministry of Celear Radio Network.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
So when is inc and the people who have been
connected since day one, people are still connected and people
from the past, everybody used to be on a network
are still on the network.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
Amen. Please keep us in prayer because these times are
challenging right now. Amen.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
But we know we're victorious. But it's so encouraging to
know that other people will come alongside, support us financially,
support us through prayer, support us through events, support us
any which way that God just steers you.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
Or leads you to support. Amen. So let's go for it.
Let's go for it, right, Amen.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
I don't know what this person is saying, but welcome
to the morning, Devo, whoever you are. I'm not even
gonna put it on the screen because I'm not understanding
what it's saying here.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
But let's go for it.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
I'm gonna put it on a screen for those who
are watching, for those who are listening.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
Amen, no worries, no problems. We'll have this red word
for word. Amen.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
Celebrating sin. We should not be doing that. But this
is what the word of God has for us today. Romans,
chapter one, verse thirty two says, although they know God's
righteous decree and his judgment, it's not like this is
knowledge or it's not like we don't understand what's going on.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
It's not like we don't know.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Although they know God's righteous decree and his judgment that
those who do such things deserve death according to the law. Right,
yet they not only do them, but they even enthusiastically
approve and tolerate others who practice them. In other words,
that's celebrating sin. And these people are being dealt with

(11:30):
through the apostle Paul, who was inspired by Holy Spirit.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
To write down this verse.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
Right, So, I'm not talking about something I'm making up,
or behaviors that I'm trying to make up. I'm talking
about something that people already know. They already know God's
righteous decree and his judgment on these matters. But they still,
even enthusiastically, they still approve and tolerate others who practice them.

(12:00):
And a lot of people are doing this in our
culture in the name of love. Right, Let's just love
one another and tolerate one another and accept one another
right and normalize sin. Meanwhile, a lot of people are
raising the banner of the Lord Jesus and doing this.
God knows about us, God knows about them. God knows

(12:24):
about us that are not celebrating sin. God knows about
them who are celebrating sin a men, Romans one thirty two.
And this is a wake up call for myself and
for every single other person who calls themselves Christ followers. Right,
we are in this together, we are not alone, We're
not abandoned. We're not shipwrecked on an island with no
escape and no sign of a rescue coming.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
We have a rescuer, a.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Man, we have a redeemer who's alive, and we have
the Word on it. And this means because although you know,
I would like to have a lot of comments every
on this, I don't need to the words for itself.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
The Word speaks, but I do have notes celebrating. Simple
behavior refers to the act of openly approving, promoting, or
finding joy in actions that the Bible identifies as sin
that the Word of God identifies as sin. So I know,
I'm hearing a lot of convincing arguments.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
Of why we need to mind our business.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
And you know, people say, you can't force your religion
on anybody, or you shouldn't be forcing your religion on anyone,
and then I'm wondering what religion they're talking about, number one,
And the forcing part. That's what always gets me thinking
when I see debates, or when I see evangelists on
social media on YouTube and they're just evangelizing, they're going

(13:50):
to certain areas wherever they go and they're just preaching
the gospel. And then when somebody goes up to the
person that's preaching the gospel, they say, you should be
forcing your religion on us. And the gospel message really
doesn't speak about a religion. The Gospel message speaks about
a person named Jesus and the good news about him
and getting to know him and getting saved because of

(14:13):
him a man and save from the wrath of God,
and the good news that Jesus presents eternal life and
offers eternal life really has nothing to do with religion.
Do you hear any religion in that? But I understand
what people are saying. They say, well, they believe in Jesus,
they're reading from the Bible, quoting from the Bible, so
to them, that's a religion. And anything that's sinful in

(14:36):
their lives now they're feeling conviction, which is a good thing,
or they feel like they're being challenged, or they feel
like they're being judged.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Right, so what does it mean?

Speaker 1 (14:47):
Celebrating sinful behavior can include these things, public approval of immorality, right,
sexual sin, violence, greed, things like that. I'm seeing a
lot of that increasing in our culture. At least hear
when broadcasting in the United States, entertainment entertainment that glorifies

(15:09):
evil or even mocks righteousness. I don't even have to
go there. You see it all the time. Do you
ever look at social media. Do you ever follow musicians
and artists. You'll see it, social trends that call wrong right.
And the prophet Isaiah spoke about this hundreds of years ago,

(15:31):
Isaiah chapter five and verse twenty. Read it for yourself,
Isaiah five and twenty, about this personal boasting about simple lifestyles.
You hear a lot of that boasting and rap music. Amen,
I have this, you don't have it.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
I have this amount of money. You're broke.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
I have these amount of relationships, and you're by yourself.
And they even mock people who are married to one
woman or one man.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
They mock heterosexuals, they mock the church, They mock the
relationship between Jesus and the body of Christ.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
He's the groom with the bride.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
People are mocking, and the Bible answers the mockery and says,
do not be deceived. The people who are mocking God
are being deceived. The Bible says, do not be deceived.
God is not mocked. So we see what the Bible says.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
We read it.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
Romans chapter one, thirty two. So this verse warns not
just about doing wrong listen to this, but about applauding
others who do wrong with you. No, And I know
it's like a trend with the younger right, the younger generation.

(16:46):
They want to do what they want to do, but
it's not really them, right. Apostle Paul says, it's the flesh.
It's like almost something else working within the members of
the body or the people that say that Christians, something
else is at work, something else is a lot, it's
called a flesh. And some people are getting to a
point where the flesh is so much in control that

(17:07):
they're showing what they're doing, writing about it, right, parading
around about sinful behavior, showing pictures, doing things on videos
that kind of like sanuate or sexualize or make you think,

(17:28):
why did that person just take that picture or why
did that person just do that video. I saw something
a couple of months ago, and it could have been
in my imagination. I'm trying to be you know, correct here,
politically correct, but the video was so suggested. They were
so suggestive that this young lady was about to do

(17:50):
something sexually, just because the way the video was recorded
in a little clip, very short a man, and I'm
thinking why it was going in twenty four hours it
was a real and I'm like, we need to be

(18:11):
careful with what we're doing, how we're living our behavior. Amen,
And being born again doesn't mean that it's a behavioral
change automatically. Being born again means you have the spirit
of God living inside of you that should convict us
of all sinful behavior, and then we'll adjust to what
God wants us to do. By the Frank, I see you. God,

(18:31):
bless you as well. God bless your family. Thank you
for blessing everybody on the morning debo, and we miss
you as well.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
A man, thank you so much for coming through my brother,
my friend.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
So Proverbs seventeen and fifteen, acquitting the guilty and condemning
the innocent. The Lord detests them both. Right, God rejects
when justice and truth are reversed, when people are calling
good evil and evil good. You see that, and you

(19:05):
see that a lot, especially nowadays. Right, it's been happening
since the days that the scriptures were coming out and
being released, but we know that we're seeing the increase
of it. But as sinful behavior increases, have you seen
the increase of people who want Jesus, who need Jesus,
who are active out there doing ministry, witnessing, evangelizing, Amen,

(19:27):
preaching the gospel in the marketplace, in areas where people
think that they're not allowed to go and preach the gospel.
Have you seen the rise of young adults who need Jesus,
who want Jesus, who want to be a part of
what God is doing on this side of eternity. Have
you seen the increase of parents bringing their children to church.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
You're seeing it. I'm seeing it, Amen, Because we know
that evil.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
Is trying to take its stands, so righteousness has taken
a higher stand because God's not shocked or surprised at
what's going on in world. Actually, he's equipping the saints
to go and rescue the laws, and He's putting people
in a position to equip the saints to go do
the works of the ministry. Your apostle, right, the prophets, Amen, evangelists,

(20:17):
the pastors, the teachers, a man, all are equipping the
saints of God's army to go and do the works
of the ministry. When you see that happening, a man,
you're seeing God's hand and God's work in the lives
of every single person, all those whosoevers who called upon
the name of the Lord to be saved a man.

(20:38):
And it's encouraging to see, and it's refreshing to see,
and it's exciting to see that we're part of a solution,
not part of the problem.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
That we're not celebrating sin.

Speaker 1 (20:49):
We're celebrating righteousness, and we're holding up righteousness as the
higher standard morality. Who says what's right and who says
what's wrong when we know we have a more compass
because of God's love, grace and mercy in our lives,
and we know what's righting wrong by way of holy
spirit of living within us. And we're convicted of something

(21:10):
that we're doing wrong, and we're just helping others to
see what we're seeing. Amen, in a gentle way and
in a respectful way. Amen, not in yelling, shouting and
sending people to hell. No, we don't do that. And
we listen to people's story. We invite them to listen
to our story and to hear the Gospel preach or
the Gospel message as a witness to the love of

(21:31):
God for them as well. Good Morning, sister Joy and
I see you, God, bless you. Welcome back to the morning. Devo,
my system, my friend. So we got what we need
to live in this world. But we're also living in
the world that's falling broken. Right, It's a lot of
darkness in the world. So we bring the light and
we bring the salt, because we're the light of the
world and the salt of the earth. We bring the flavor.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
Amen. And God is the.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
Savior through the Lord Jesus Christ. If he's just chop
the five verse number eleven have nothing to do with
the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. Especially
around Halloween season, the deeds of darkness are all around masking, arraid,
literally masking arraid, masking, masquerading sin to be celebrated in

(22:19):
the form of Halloween, Halloween costumes, you know, festivals, and
of course haunted homes and haunted houses, haunted farms. That's
a disguise of sinfle behavior. Amen, deeds of darkness, stay
away from that, right. God rejects those things. Christians are

(22:45):
called to confront those things, not celebrate those things. We're
confronting deeds of darkness, and so many preachers every year,
and I've done it for you many years as well.
I'm just letting the other preachers do it, Amen, and
I'm sharing what they're talking by Halloween, exposing the deeds
of darkness during Halloween season. And I know a lot
of people are saying you're overreacting, you Christians, always thinking

(23:08):
something is evil, something is dark. It's just a fun
family celebration. It's just a fun family holiday. It's a
way we can have fun. You know, my daughter says,
I like to be scared, and because she's not understanding
what fear is, she doesn't understand that we're teaching her
that fear is a spirit and the Word of God
says God didn't give us a spirit of fear. So

(23:29):
if God is calling fear a spirit, guess what fear is, ladies.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
And gentlemen, a spirit.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
And we need to teach our young children that they
meant and show our friends the examples of what fear
does to someone who says they have faith. Like I've
heard preachers say that fear cancels out faith. I don't
know how true that is, but I know fear definitely
challenges our faith because God didn't give us a spirit

(23:56):
of fear. So we're walking around with fear, right spirit
that's trying to take us in another direction of where
God wants us to take us. I should say it
like that. Why is it dangerous?

Speaker 2 (24:10):
Sam?

Speaker 1 (24:10):
Why you know, celebrating sin? You know, and people are
probably in their mind saying, well, you're calling that sin,
But I'm just calling it fun.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
You know.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
How dare you judge people and say they're sinning and
doing something wrong?

Speaker 2 (24:24):
Here it is.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
It's dangerous because it desensitizes the conscience. Sin becomes normalized.
I wrote a book years ago. I don't know if
I have it here. It's called yeah right here, I
have it. The Enemy Strategies. The Enemy's strategy.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
Victory is yours? Right.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
I wrote this book years ago and man doing a fast.
I was fasting and praying and God gave me this
to write. Basically, the enemy still does the same things.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
Right.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
So I'm going to read the back of it and
you let me know. And I put it in Halloween
colors on purpose. I want to read it and you
let me know if this still is relevant.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
I wrote this.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
I think in twenty it should be a year here somewhere,
right twenty sixteen.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
I wrote this book.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
Listen, So there you have the three basic, time tested
strategies of the enemy. He the enemy has mastered these
attacks and his weapons are not to be taken lightly.
Now that you're aware of them, let me help you
take action steps. But okay, this doesn't say what the steps,
what the three things are. Let me see if I

(25:38):
have a quick summary of what they are, right over
and over again, the same tactics. And then I should
have read this before I put this up on display.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
Right, I read one.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
I'm running out of time here and you have to
get the book. Oh, here it goes these other three
strategic weapons. The enemy is trying to humanize God. Humanize God,
meaning that when things happen wrong in Jesus, God Holy
Spirit is surprised and shocked as almost of this humanizing.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
Number two, minimize sin. And that's what we're talking about now.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
People celebrating simple behavior, they're actually minimizing the consequences of
what's to come after you do simple behavior. And make
man the deity, make man the moral compass. That's the
three things the enemy always does over and over again.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
Read it. I mean it's a short read. I wrote.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
I write short books. It's my first book. I have
another one a man. I believe in short content books
because you could get it all in one sitting a man.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
You can take notes, you can.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
Highlight, and then apply what you're seeing and what you're
reading in real time and see what happens.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
Amen. That was my point.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
The Christian response to this issue is pray. I know
we're saying just pray about it, as if that's the
last resort, or if you know we're pitiful for pray. No, pray, pray, pray,
pray for discernment. Recognize what the world is calling normal,
and recognize what God says is simple behavior. Stand for truth,

(27:25):
for grace, stand for truth. Everybody is standing for their truth.

Speaker 2 (27:29):
Right.

Speaker 1 (27:30):
You hear people saying, oh, that's your truth, and that's
you know, this is my truth. No, there's only one truth,
and it's the Gospel truth, God's truth, his word, his truth.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Amen. I'm coming here with nothing. God has everything. Amen.
Great morning, my brother and friends.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
Thank you brother John for coming through and spreading your
good vibes, Amen and sharing.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
A good morning message. Thank you for coming through, my
brother and my friend live as a light.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
Our joy comes from holiness, not coming from rebellion. It's
not coming from you know, bad behavior, simple behaviors, coming
from victory in Christ. Since to Jennifer, I see you,
good morning, my sister, and my friend. I was gonna
say my brother, my friend, my bad Now a lot
of times that so early in the morning, and I'm
still adjusting. But thank you so much, sister for coming through,

(28:20):
and thank you for your amen model repentance. Show others
the beauty of forgiveness is beautiful. To repent, it's beautiful
to have been forgiven, and show people that we're forgiving people.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
Amen. We're transformed through the power of Christ.

Speaker 1 (28:36):
So are we celebrating what God says not to or
are we standing up for righteousness and holiness in a
way that's gentle to others.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
And respectful to others?

Speaker 1 (28:49):
So are we more excited about the world's approval than
God's holiness? Those are questions that I ask myself. You
might be saying this is too early in the morning
for allow that saying, Well, I'm a thinker. I think
of these things literally. I ask myself these questions. I
ask God a lot of questions. And I know a
lot of people out there are part of the campus
cell and you shouldn't questioned God. Listen, I question in

(29:11):
God daily a man, and I'm still here and I
admit it, and he shows me his truth in his
word and I experience his transformation.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
I hope you're doing the same. Listen.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
Romans chapter one, Verse number thirty two is where we were.
Read the whole chapter Romans chapter one. See what God
has to say in context and all the contexts of
that whole chapter. Amen, So you could check me out
make sure I'm not out of context.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
If i am, you know, I'm always ready for correction,
and I receive correction because the Bible says for those
people who do not receive correction, they're fools. And I
don't want to walk around like a fool. So I'm
out of time though. But God bless you all. Thank
you so much for hanging out with me for this
morning debo. God bless you all. Got to keep you
all and remember always that God is good.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
