Speaker 1 (00:02):
On a family. Good morning, God bless you. Welcome back

DJ Sam Rock. So Win is with a z dot

put a live chat underneath the live stream on the website,
so now you can do a live chat with me

(00:45):
at so wins with a z dot org. Amen. And
if you go to the live stream tab, you'll see
the live Amen. And then you can do a live
chat with me over there as well. So let's go forward,
ladies and gentlemen. It's a new day. Right. We will
rejoice and be glad in the day that the Lord created.
Yesterday is gone, today is right now, and tomorrow's not promised.

(01:07):
So let's celebrate today. Let's celebrate our freedom today, our
true freedom today. And I see a lot of people
are saying they're free, Amen. But there's something going around
that I'm calling a false freedom. It's not really a freedom, amen,
that they're celebrating. They're celebrating things that lead to death.
I see people celebrating birthdays, right, and that's great, Amen,

(01:30):
praise God, a new year for the life that was given. Right.
But why do I see people and including me, I
used to do this. I used to pass tense through this,
celebrate birthdays, celebrate life with things that lead to death.
Think about it, amen. And I was saying I was
free back then, before Jesus. I said, now I'm free.

(01:51):
I could do whatever I want to do, which is
some truth to it. You could do anything you want
to do. To Bible actually says, so that's true. But
not everything we do want to do, according to satisfying
the flesh will be beneficial to us. Amen. So I'm
calling this one false freedom. It's not just about doing wrong,
it's about applauding it, reposting it, right, double tapping it,

(02:17):
reposting it, laughing with it, and calling it freedom when
it's really bondage. Right. If you're free in Christ, who
the sun sets free is free. Indeed, that's true freedom.
If you're saying you're free and you're still bound, you're
still in bondage. The things that you used to do

(02:40):
you can't stop doing, Amen, then that's a false freedom.
Ephesians shot the five verse number eleven. Ephesians five verse
number eleven. Sister Joanne, I'm sorry, I see you. I
had to hidden behind another box here. Amen's sister Joy
and God bless you. Good morning. Thank you for coming through,
and thank you for coming back to the Morning Devo
my system, my friends. So let's go for it. If

(03:01):
you have any questions, comments, concerns, prayer requests, or anything
along those lines, don't hesitate to leave it on a
live chat. Also, we're available on podcast platforms. You're your
favorite podcast platform. If we're not on your favorite podcast platform,
please let a brother know and I'll see if I
could get on those platforms as well. So we're gonna

(03:21):
pray first. After we pray, we'll shut us out for
like sixty seconds, and then on the other side of
those sixty seconds, we'll get right into today's Morning Devo
with the scripture for today Ephesians, chapter five, verse number eleven,
Lord Jesus, I thank you that you set us free
because of what you did on the cross. Thank you,
Lord God, that when you set us free, you set

(03:45):
us free. Indeed, you have a purpose, you have a plan,
you have your works being done through us. Amen, and
that's a privilege. Thank you so much for saving us,
rescuing us, keeping us, and restoring us to write standing
with the Father. Because of you, Lord Jesus, I pray
a hedge of protection over our minds, over our bodies, physically,

(04:07):
emotionally and spiritually. In the powerful name of Jesus. I
pray it out over every single person listening and watching.
I prayed that over myself, my wife, our children, our grandchildren,
our family members from the oldest to the youngest, and
every single person in between. Touch our hearts, touch our minds,
renew us, restore us, redeem us, Save us, God, rescue us,

(04:28):
just as your word says, fill us with your holy spirit,
so that way we could perform works and wonders and
lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover and
call out demons, and all the scripture says that we
can do. Father God, I pray that you will encourage
us to do it without being afraid. Give us a
measure of boldness and kindness and gentleness at the same time,

(04:51):
and fill us with your spiritual gift that you have
given us. Low God, that you have measured out for
every single one of us. So I speak life, concern
all things living and everyone living. And I speak death
to those things that try to distract us, to try
to cause us harm, that try to take us off
our righteous path. I come against those things. I come
against this Halloween celebration month in the name of Jesus.

(05:13):
We come against the deeds of darkness right now in
the powerful name of Jesus. I thank you, Lord God
for giving us the light and to shine that light
through us, and that we could be a light to
this world and assault to this earth. And Jesus Holy Name,
I pray this's by faith, and those who agree with
the prayer, we say, Amen to the Amen. Help me
share this out sixty seconds. When we come back, we'll

(05:34):
get right into false freedom today on the morning, devol,
I'll be right back. All right, We're back, Amen, We're back.

(06:59):
Thank you so much for being patient with me, Amen
and really coming through and voting some time with me. Amen,
for these mornings and these days that we're here. A
lot of people don't watch me live, and I understand Listen,
I'm not an early bird. This is a supernatural thing
in my life. Amen. You might say, oh, you're over
spiritualized and all you do is set your alarm and
wake up. But I'm a night hourl Normally, I'm a

(07:21):
night hour. Supernaturally, I get up early, amen, to do
these morning DeVos. Why because God is that good Amen,
and he deserves the honor of worship and praise, and
he's good man in all his ways. There's not one
day that I could say that God has failed me.
What about you? Amen, He's only, he's just, he's loving,
he's kind, and he's here Amen for us. Sometimes we

(07:43):
don't have because we don't ask. Because he is wise,
he is giving, he is holy, he is trustworthy. Amen.
He's able to do exactly what his word says he
would do in your life and in my life. So
don't be afraid to ask the Lord. Amen. That's what
we do. We ask of the Lord, Amen, because if

(08:04):
we're honest, we know we can't do nothing without him,
but with him we could do all things through Christ,
who gives us the strength to do exactly what He
wants us to do in this life with a purpose
and a plan. Amen. It's not just random. This is
a setup way of God living through us. Amen. He

(08:24):
established this prayer is communicating with God. Right. And the
beautiful thing about prayer is that he responds that we're
not just the only ones talking. He will speak back
to us because he's alive. He's a living, holy, righteous, loving, awesome,

(08:45):
just God. Amen. And he's sovereign, he's in control. So
let's go for it. Let me put this on the
screen for those who are just listening. No worries, no problems.
I'm gonna try my best to read a word for
words to that way you won't miss out on what
we're seeing or what we're reading. Amen. So this is
false freedom of calling this one. Amen. According to the
Book of Ephesians, chapter five, verse number eleven, the Bible says,

(09:08):
do not participate in the worthless and unproductive deeds of darkness,
but instead expose them by exemplifying personal integrity, moral courage,
and golly character. I believe I went through the scripture
so many times, and during my time doing these morning

(09:29):
debos because I see it everywhere, people celebrating deeds of darkness. Amen.
And then when the people come to expose those deeds
of darkness, the people that expose the deeds of darkness,
according to the scripture, what we're supposed to do. We're
called haters. Amen. We're called arrogant, we're called super religious,
we're called judging. And that's not the case. We're exemplifying

(09:55):
personal integrity, moral courage, and golly character. So I'm not
going to participate in worthless and unproductive deeds of darkness.
And I hope you don't participate in the worthless and
unproductive deeds of darkness. Just stop. Instead, show yourself approved,

(10:16):
pray fast, get into the word amen. Be an example
of personal integrity, meaning that when the doors are closed
and you're outside of the church building or outside from
your church friends, personal integrity is important, moral courage and
godly character. Amen. So this is the word. This is
not an opinion. This is the word of God. So

(10:39):
true freedom means we are filled with holy spirit, God
who empowers us to get what He wants done in
our lives and through our lives. That should be exciting
to somebody Amen. And man, it might not be exciting
to you, is exciting to me because now I know

(11:00):
that I have this energy, this power right, Holy Spirit,
God living alive, living through me. Amen. And the same
for you if you're a born again believer. This is
not just for a selected few. Many are called, few
are chosen. So the few that are chosen, right, let's

(11:23):
be about that life. It's not arrogant to say that
you're born again. It's not arrogant to say that you
exemplify Christ, that you are resembling, or you are empowered
by Holy Spirit to show God's character. That's not arrogant.
It's actually do the word. We just read it, Amen,

(11:45):
ef He's in chefter five, verse number eleven. Let me
get to my notes. Before I get I was gonna
say something a man, but Holy Spirit said hold on
to that, don't don't don't, don't rush things. Don't get
too excited, Sam. So I'm just obeying a Holy spa.
It spirit guy is amazing. So we read it. Eph'sians
five eleven. When we celebrate things that are dark, when

(12:10):
we celebrate sin, and we spoke about this last time,
we desensitize our own hearts. We start thinking darkness is normal,
ladies and gentlemen, Darkness is not normal. Sin is a
disease of the soul, normalizing things and saying because we

(12:34):
love people and that's just the way they are, and
just walk away from it. Right, celebrated, applauded, we posted.
I don't know if that's love. And I don't know
if you're promoting true freedom by celebrating somebody else's bondage. Amen.
And I know it's not an easy conversation with people

(12:55):
that you truly love, family members, friends, and they're in
a lifestyle or in a simple behavior that's so destructive
that it hurts me and you to see it. But
applauding it, celebrating it is not the answer at all. Right,

(13:16):
you start thinking darkness is normal, and the light feels uncomfortable.
People feel uncomfortable. When you shine the light of Christ
in the room, you will notice it right away. I
used to wonder, why don't these people like me? Like
they don't even talked to me. I say hi, they

(13:37):
just turn their back so they walk away. I used
to take that personal. I don't take that personal, nomore.
I know what's going on. What does light and darkness
have in common right, what nothing a man? When the
light shows up, darkness goes. And sometimes people are so

(13:59):
in the dark they get uncomfortable when the light is shown. Amen.
God calls us to be different, not better than anybody else,
but different meanings set apart, sanctified for his holy glory,

(14:20):
for his work, for his glory. Amen. And because of that,
we're shining the light, exposing darkness. It's like automatic. You
step in the room and you're born again. You're a believer.
You shine in the light of Christ. You start seeing
people move differently. Darkness flees, sometimes demons manifest. But for
sure people that are in darkness get together. But other

(14:42):
people in darkness and then point at the people of
the light and call us xyz. They're religious, they're judging us.
You see it all the time. Amen. But we're supposed
to show up and let God shine through us. Show
up and shine your light. So that means we don't
join the celebration of what's wrong. We shine the light

(15:06):
of what's right. In other words, we're not pointing out
the wrong all the time, like you're doing this and
you're doing that and you're going to hell for it. No,
we're gonna shine the light of what's right and who's
right and who's good, and who gets the glory and
who can set people free and give them true freedom,
not the false freedom that people are getting from this

(15:27):
world system, the false freedom that people are getting because
of the simple evil desires or the flesh. Flesh is
a monster. So we know that this is a spiritual fight,
not personal. I used to take this so personal. Why
this person don't talk to me no more? How come
this person don't say oh to be no more? Why
is this person ducking me? Why am I being ghosted? Amen?

(15:49):
I'm literally being ghosted now in real time, amen, by
someone that I love. But it's all good, Amen. I'm
not gonna take it personal. I just continue to pray,
shine the light on what's right, glorify God, being exemplary
of what God is doing in my heart and my
mind physically, motionally and spiritually, and as Christians, as believers,

(16:13):
as brothers and sisters in Christ, we should be doing
that anyway. Amen, don't take it personal. People are in darkness.
Not a lot of times. They are in bondage as
and they profess to be Christian, They're in bondished because
they don't want the light to be shown through them,
or they feel some kind of way. Maybe they feel shame,
maybe they feel guilt. Maybe they're an abusive relationship, maybe

(16:37):
they can't forgive, maybe they're stuck in the past. That's
why we pray. We come with a gentle spirit. Amen,
we come with kindness, love. We don't go with hatred
to try to solve an issue in someone else's life.
Good morning is the joice. I see you, God, bless you.
Thank you for your blessings over the group as well. Amen,
my sister, my friend. So we don't approach people that

(17:01):
are in bondage with more chains and put them more
in bondage, and be careful of how you speak to
people who wan bondage, because if they don't have Christ right,
they don't know the word. Maybe they would church hurt.
Maybe they were or were or currently are in a

(17:21):
religion that's abusive, that's playing my games with them. Maybe
their family dynamics is not right. Maybe they're struggling with depression,
maybe they're addicted to drugs. You don't know. That's why
it's important to show people kindness and to go with
a gentle spirit and to listen to their story. When
people have the platform that they could speak a man,

(17:43):
they'll use that platform that might be the only platform,
that might be the only way they could actually speak
and communicate what they're really going through. So let's shine
the light on what's right and not point at what's
wrong all the time. Amen. At least maybe that's my opinion,
but I believe that's what the Scripture tells us to do.

(18:04):
I have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness,
but rather expose them. When you expose darkness, amen, you
can shine the light on what's right. Amen. And when
people see what's right, and they see that as an example,
they see that the Lord cares, that the Lord says,
that the Lord rescues, that the Lord loves, that the
Lord forgives, sins, that the Lord could break people free

(18:25):
from their chains, then they will receive true freedom, not
false freedom. I know a lot of people, especially in
this generation, they don't want to hear too much preaching.
They want to see the power of God. They want
to see a real example of what God can do
in the lives of all those who call upon his
name to be saved. They don't want to see his bickering.

(18:48):
No more. They don't want to see his fighting no more.
They don't want to see the church divided no more.
They don't want to see pastors acting crazy on TV. No.
They want to see the trueness of what God is
doing in the lives of all those whosoevers who live
for Christ. They want to see the power of the
dounamus right. They want to see the power of God

(19:09):
by way of Holy Spirit. They want to be involved.
They want to show up and shine the light as well.
They want to be a part of something greater. They
want to make a difference in their community. They want
to make a difference in their family. They want to
make a difference wherever they work, wherever they go to
school at. They want to shine the light of Christ.
But they need examples. They need the older to teach

(19:30):
the younger Amen, so they could go and be equipped
and do the works of the Lord, the works of
the ministry. Right. That means we don't join the celebration
of what's wrong. We shine the light of what's right.
So here's something that you can ask yourself today. And

(19:50):
my celebrating what hurts God, my celebrating deeds of darkness,
ask yourself that question. And if you find yourself care
in that crowd, which is not hard to be wrapped
up in that type of crowd, because that crowd is popular,
and that crowd is popping, that crowd is famous. That

(20:10):
crowd is the in crowd. See yourself caught up in that.
Listen to your brother in Christ. Step out, step away,
get out, run, amen, and gather with some people who
are loving Christ, who are shining the light of Christ,
which is a blazing light. By the way, and get

(20:32):
some encouragement, get some refuge, get some prayer. Tell them,
tell the elders of the church to anoint you with oil. Amen,
and walk straight a straight path. Step out. That means repent.
Turn from that, turn from that crowd, Turn from that wickedness,

(20:54):
and turn to the righteousness of God. Relign yourself, and
remember God's grace is still open, so all who turn
to Him, even those that are stuck in darkness. That
they're sworn to secrecy, that they're double minded, that they're
one way in one platform and another way in another platform,

(21:18):
that they have hidden accounts, that they have different social
media accounts, one that shows them as born again believers
and another that shows them as righteous and unrighteous. Amen,
And that's sad. What it's the truth. We see it
all the time, but we're not going to celebrate that.
Like I won't start up. I was in a situation

(21:39):
the other day that I didn't know if I was
supposed to congratulate someone on something, amen, or just say
what I said. I said, God could do something amazing here,
because I know there has to be some kind of
a pensance first before we can celebrate what's happening. Right Literally,

(22:00):
I was like my mind was saying, oh, wow, just
congratulate the person the people, and then Holy's favorite says, yeah,
we're not celebrating that. But God could do something through
that situation. And God could do something in your life,
and God could do something in my life, and we
could be useful for the Kingdom of God, shining the

(22:23):
light on what's right, not pointing all the time with
what's wrong. I believe a lot of time people know
that they're doing something wrong, they just don't know how
to stop. I was that person, right. I knew I
was going the wrong way. I just didn't know how
to get off the train. I knew I was in
the wrong crowd. I just didn't know how to get out,
step out without offending anybody. But God would take care

(22:44):
of the issue. Let's stop cheering for what kills us
and start rejoicing and what gives life. I was asking
someone a question last week. I said, do you think
all people are suicidal? The person was like, what do
you mean? I said, because we do things right according
to the flesh, and those things lead to destruction. Those

(23:06):
things lead to death. Like I said earlier, people celebrate
life like our birthday with things that lead to death, drug, sex, alcohol,
you know what I mean? And I start wondering, are
we all suicidal? I know that's a weird question for
Morning Devo? What are we What are we doing? Are
we shining the light on what's right? Or we're stuck

(23:28):
in the deeds of darkness and we're actually in bondage
and chains and everybody's celebrating us and we're becoming famous
for being in bondage. Think about it. So, I want
to know if this message is speaking to you right
If it is, share this message with somebody, because right now,

(23:49):
in this month, from the time of this recording, there
are witches and wallocks and demonic things happening in the atmosphere. Right,
Spiritual warfare is heightened during this month, at least in
the United States in some parts of the world. But
if this speaking, if it's speaking to you, and you're

(24:09):
part of that crowd of and having that dark activity
going on in your life, but it's speaking to you,
shared us with your people, share us with somebody today.
You never know whose life to change from hearing God's truth.
Whose life can change by reading the word of God? Right,

(24:33):
So when God speaks, don't forget what he says. Don't
forget what he said. Let God speak in your life. Right.
So there's times when we've approved, but God calls sin, right,
and I think we're all guilty that maybe we laughed

(24:55):
at jokes that we should have not laughed at. Maybe
we'll watch movies that we should and have watched. Maybe
we're listening to music that we shouldn't be listening to anymore.
Whatever the case is, Amen, you know that we need repent,
you know, and I know that we should stop laughing
at those type of jokes, stop watching those type of things,

(25:17):
and stop listening to that type of music. God will
forgive us when we do things that he's not approving. Right.
When God forgives. He'll also help us to see through
the lives of the culture to stand firm in the
truth and His truth. Because listen, this is not my truth,

(25:38):
this is not your truth. This is the truth of
God's Word. Amen. And that's powerful. We don't have We
don't have to continuously argue with people of what God
is doing or who God is. The truth of God's
words speaks for itself. The power of God shows up
through us when we are yielded to the Holy Spirit

(26:00):
wants to do in any given situation. I mean, you
notice that y'ad will give us the courage to live holy,
not the courage to be common enough with the common
Christian stuff. You know, the cookie cutter Christian. The Christian
that just goes to church knows how to do church well.

(26:21):
By the way, very impressive the way I see people
doing church. They can do church. They know what to say,
they know what to do, they know how the posture
to be in. They could read the crowd. They know
how to tap into people's emotions, they know how to manipulate,
they know how to do all of that. They know
how to do church. That's not an anoint thing. That's

(26:41):
actually something that's disappointing. It's not anunointh thing, it's a
false freedom. But when people show up and they do
more than church, they do life with Jesus. You get
to know the difference on the platform and off the
platform in church, or in the trenches, in the streets,
the by way and highways, a man, in the workplace,

(27:02):
in school. You're gonna know the difference between a church
person and a holy ghost, feel powerful, holy person of God.
Common people and common Christians. They do what they're taught
by just traditional things, church things. They know how to
move accordingly in the church body, in the church environment,

(27:24):
I should say, But a holy Christian set apart, you
get to see that they have a less of a
circle around them. A man, they have a circle, and
they move differently. You could just literally see it. Amen.
I want to be holy, not common. What about you?
God will give us the courage to live holy, to

(27:44):
love deeply and shine brightly in the world that's full
of darkness. Amen. And when we shine bright in the
world that's full of darkness, you get to see that
the lat of Christ is going to shine and expose
the dark deeds of what we're doing. Sometimes and get
us out of that, and he wants us to move
forward in victorious ways. He wants you to move forward

(28:07):
in a way that shines the light on what is
right and really expose darkness, just because we have the
lot of Christ shining in us. So I'm out of time.
I hope you're getting what I'm saying. Amen. If you
feel a little offended, Amen, that wasn't my doing. Amen,
that's the conviction of holy ghosts. According through Ephesians chapter five,
verse number eleven, when he says, have nothing to do

(28:30):
with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose him.
And sometimes when we speak the word, the Word of
God is speaking to us directly, and we need to
make the proper changes. Amen. So thank you so much
for hanging out with me for these morning DeVos. I'm
really grateful that you show up. Amen. Shared us with
somebody that you know, Amen, even somebody that you might
not know too well, but you might be able to

(28:52):
know who to share us with by way of God's
functioning through his Holy Spirit. So God bless you all.
God keep you all, and remember always that God is good. Peace,
