Speaker 1 (00:02):
Wanting family. Good morning, God bless you. Welcome back to
the Morning Devo as you Bro Sam Lopez aka DJ
Sam Rock So winners with his z dot org live
that's so, winners with his z dot org streaming on
social media platforms that let the stream go through and
also on our x formerly known as Twitter page as well.
If that matters to you today, we're gonna continue about
(00:25):
finishing strong. Amen. Actually this one is called finishing strong.
Finish strong today in the morning Devo. Amen. It's not
so much how you start right, because according to the scriptures,
were all born the same way. We are born into sin,
into a simful world. We have a sinful nature. We're
gonna be bent towards an opposite destination that God wants
(00:47):
us to go. But he gives us the opportunity right
through his love, through his grace, through his mercy. He
gives us the opportunity to get things right with the
Father by way of g It's by way of him.
There's no other way to the Father except through the
Lord Amen, through the Lord Jesus Christ. So when I
say finished strong, I know a lot of people say, man,
(01:09):
but uh, you know I did this, and I did
that well, the Lord is asking us to finish strong.
So let me check my levels here to make sure
everything's good because I've been so we look okay on
the radio. Thank Jesus, say man, this audio has been
a little crazy lately in my studio, Amen, and the
podcast looks like it's good. So maybe the year didn't
(01:32):
go the way you and I planned, right. I know
I had certain things that I had in my mind
that I had planned for the year, and it didn't
necessarily go the way I wanted it to go the
way I planned it. But here this clearly your strength
and my strength isn't about fins finishing perfectly, right, all
(01:57):
going to finish this year perfectly? If that's you and
everything what according to your plan for the year. Praise
the Lord, like literally, praise the Lord. There's no hate here.
I'm celebrating that. But it's not about finishing perfectly. It's
finishing faithfully. It's about finishing faithfully, just like God will
(02:17):
start something and finish something. Amen. We should be along
those lines too. Whatever we start, we should be trying
to finish. But whatever God starts, Amen, he will finish.
We're gonna be a second Timothy chapter number four, Verse
number seven tewond Timothy four and seven Today in the
morning Devo. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, prayer requests,
(02:38):
or anything along those lines, don't hesitate. A live chat
is open. Also, if you're at the website, Amen, someone
is with a z ORRG and you're listening or watching,
there's a lot of stream page there as well. Right
under the law stream there's a live chat, so you
could connect with us over there as well. Also on
live us someone is with a z do org. There's
an interactive bybe. There's a live stream there too as well,
(03:03):
a live chat, a way that you can subscribe to
my YouTube page and the podcast, or you can get
on the email list as well. So really, you know,
don't tell nobody, but secretly I want everybody really to
join me at live that swumlans with a z org.
So much quieter situation over there, Amen, And it's it's good.
(03:27):
Less distractions, Amen, less distractions. So let's go for it.
We're gonna pray first. After we pray with shit it
out for like sixty seconds, and then on the other
side of the sixty seconds, we'll get into our scripture
for today. For this morning. Two Timothy, chapter number four,
verse number seven. You ready, Father, I thank you, thank you,
thank you so much for your living Word, for activating
(03:49):
your word in our hearts and in our minds and
in our lives in real time. So I speak peace,
I speak life. I thank you, little guy, that whatever
you started in the lives of your people, that you
will come complete that work. All we have to do
is show up. All we have to do is be
obedient and be patient. And all we have to do
is trust and put our faith in you. Thank you
(04:10):
for living a perfect life and setting the example for
us to see the living Word in action and real
time in this world. Thank you, lor God, for leaving
us your message, for leaving us your gospel, for leaving
your word, which is your will for your people and
for all of your creation. Thank you, Lo God for
your scriptures. I pray, Lord God, that you will enlighten us,
(04:31):
encourage us, inspire us to read the Word of God daily,
and that we would learn from who you called us
to learn from, which is Holy Spirit, God who leads
us into all truth. I also pray, Lord God, in
these perilous times, I hedge your protection over myself, my wife,
our children, my family, our grandchildren, both oldest to the
(04:54):
youngest family members in my family, and every single person
in between, that you would guide God and protect us
and do the same for every single person that's watching
or listening right now, them and their families. And I pray,
Lord God, salvation for complete salvation for every single one
of the people, that whosoever calls upon the name shall
be saved. I pray that word into the lives of
(05:14):
every single person that needs truth, that wants true love,
and that needs healing and needs salvation, which Lord God,
according to your word, everybody needs your salvation, and that
your wish is my wish as well, that none should perish,
but everyone have eternal life through Christ Jesus. So I speak,
(05:36):
Lord God, the light of Christ, that you illuminate this
word this morning Devo, and that people will experience your
Holy Spirit and experience love, grace and mercy that you
offer daily. And Jesus Holy Name, I pray it's by faith,
and those who agree we say Amen, toe the Amen,
help me share this sol sixty seconds. When we come back,
we'll get right into today's morning Devo. Finish strong, I'll
(05:57):
be right back. Amen. We're back. Let's go for it.
(07:24):
Sister June, I see you. Good morning, God bless you.
Welcome back to the morning deep with my sister, my friend.
It's cold out there, Amen, has been like a freezing
temperature change out here in the Lehigh Valley when I'm
broadcasting from. But praise God for the seasons. Amen. Every
season is a new season, right, including the lives that
we're living right now. Amen. So God is amazing at
(07:47):
everything that he does. Amen. When you show up, God
is there. Amen, He's there way before we're there. Amen.
And he shows up in a powerful way in our lives.
So finish strong. Amen. It's not just like a cliche
of sin and whatever. I believe. The Lord's will for
our lives is for us to continue in the faith
and to finish strong. Amen. And you might have a
(08:09):
story that in the beginning, right, it didn't seem like
you were going to make it, But then God showed
up and because of his grace, we're here today. And
if we could live today for the Lord, Amen, that's
an indication that we could live tomorrow for him too.
No matter what will happened yesterday, last week, earlier, today,
(08:31):
we could still finish strong. In the faith a man,
knowing that God is with us and us and working
through us, and he's for us a man. He's not
against us. So if God is for us, then who
in this world could be against us? Amen? And I
know we're gonna have opposition. I know we're gonna have problems.
I know we're gonna be tempted. I know we're going
(08:52):
to go through things in life. But God is with us,
a man, Emmanuel, God with us. So we can finish
strong and go to that finished line, the one that's
marked out for each and every one of us. Amen.
So let's do this. Let's do this. Let's finish strong. Amen.
And God is faithful and he could do it in
our hearts and in our minds. Bible says the two Timothy,
(09:13):
chapter four and verse number seven. I have fought the
good and worthy and noble fight. I have finished the race.
I have kept the faith firmly guarding the gospel against error.
For it's just the apostle inspired by Holy Spirit. This
is almost like if he's bragging, right, but it's not
(09:34):
his bragging. This is like a bragamony, like a testimony
and bragging at the same time. And he knows that
he could only have done this because of the glorious
work of God through his life, and through your life,
and through my life. We can only say that we're
fighting a good fight of faith because we have the
Good One living within us helping us fight. Amen. So
the apostle said, I fought the good and worthy and
(09:56):
noble fight. I have finished the race. I have kept
the faith so keeping. That's why at the end of
these morning DeVos, I said, God, bless you, God keep you.
That keeping part is because God will keep us a man.
He will keep us standing. He will keep us firm
in our faith. He will keep us trusting in him.
(10:16):
He will keep us in line according to His will
and purpose. All we have to do, ladies and gentlemen,
because we have a part to playing this. All we
have to do is fight the good fight, stand and
keep on standing, stand on his words, stand on his truth.
A man firmly guarding the Gospel against ever. Now, we
don't want to go ahead and start preaching some weird
(10:37):
stuff that we know deep down that's not even in
the scriptures a man. We want to preach and teach
and reach people with the true message of the Gospel.
And we don't have to make things up. We could
literally go to the Word for ourselves. That's why I'm
always stressing that go to the Word of God for yourself.
You don't have to just rely on me, on your
(11:00):
pastor your teacher, the apostle, the prophets. Amen. You could
go to the Word of God the evangelist. You don't
got to really rely on a talking head like me, Amen,
to give you the truth. You have this inspire Word
of God available to you as well. Amen. If this
helps you out though, Amen, and steers you towards the Word,
(11:21):
then I'm doing my part. But what I'm saying is
that don't rely on me, rely and trust on the
Holy One, Jesus, the Christ of Nazareth, the Anointed, only
begotten Son of God, the Savior, the Messiah, the michiak
McGee Amen, the Principiece, Wonderful counselor Almighty God. So shout
out told my Jehovah. Witness friends that say he's just
(11:43):
a mighty God. And Jehovah is the Almighty God. Know
its the same God. Jesus shows up in the image
of the invisible God, the perfect image of the invisible God.
So he's also Almighty God, not the Father. He is
the Son. You're right, and he's not the Holy Spirit. Amen,
he is Jesus the Son. So all three operate on
(12:06):
the one essence. Amen. The three on one can't do
the math because it's not human math. That's a god's situation,
the Holy Triune God. Amen. So finished, strong, persevere, Amen,
don't give up this. From the time of this recording,
we're in the last month before New Year, So don't
give up in the last month before New Year. Don't
(12:27):
give up when you're so close to something that's coming,
that's new, and that we're all get to shout Happy
New Year. Amen, and a lot of people say happy
New you. I've done that a man, because I know
some things that I planned, or some things that I
went through in this past twelve months almost right, haven't
been the way I planned it. And I know I'm
(12:48):
not alone with that. You probably planned some things, hoping
in some people, hoping some things to happen, and it
didn't go according to your plan. But God has the
best plan, the best plan ever a man, is available
to us daily. All we have to do is seek
the Kingdom of God first, right and everything else will
be added onto us. The Kingdom of God is at
(13:11):
hand right, Kingdom of God is in our hearts. So listen.
This year is coming to a close. God isn't asking
you or me to relive the fairs of this life
or the fairs of this year. A man, I could guarantee,
(13:34):
and I don't even have to be a prophet. I
could guarantee that you failed in some areas of your life,
and I'll admit that I failed in certain areas of
my life this year. But I also could prophesy that
God will finish, but he started in our lives. All
we have to do is continue to trust and not
relive affairs, not go into the new year with doubts
(13:55):
and worry and anxiety. A man, No, we give those
things to the Lord. Cast our burdens to one another,
and we bring those burdens to the feet of Jesus. Amen.
He's inviting you, and he's inviting me to finish strong,
Finish with faith, don't finish with fear, don't finish with doubt,
don't finish with anger, don't finish divide it, don't finish
(14:21):
not connected to the body of Christ. Finish connected with
someone that loves Jesus, Amen, that's filled with His Holy Spirit.
And then make sure you're in touch, amen, or you're
connected to the Body of Christ. I'm not saying to
a church system. I'm saying to the body of a
living God, an organism, not just an organization, but an
(14:43):
organism to trust in the Family of God through his word,
not through a saying, not through an Instagram post or
TikTok posts. No, through his word. So thedn't turn out
the way you plan, didn't turn out the way I plan.
Some prayers feel like they're unanswered, and I'm stressing the
word feel because I truly believe that if we're in
(15:06):
connection with God, that when we pray, he hears our
prayer and He answers those prayers according to his will
and his purpose for your life, my life, for every
individual life that calls out to him. It's just the timing, right.
We don't understand God's timing because he's not on our clock.
He's not on the calendar a man, not our calendar.
(15:28):
He sits outside of time a man. He's an eternal God.
And because he's eternal, there's no beginning for him and
there's no end for him. So therefore he's not on
a twenty four hour clock like. He doesn't have a schedule.
Like I set an alarm to wake up, he doesn't
have to set it alarm to wake up. I put
things in my calendar to make sure I remember. He
remembers all things, He knows all things. He doesn't have
(15:50):
to set a calendar. He's an eternal god. Right. So
the other day we were in Galatians six and nine,
where the Bible says, let us not grow weary, keep
on doing good. Don't get tired of doing good. Why
for indue season we shall reap if we do not
lose heart. In other words, if you don't give up
(16:11):
and you keep on going a man, God will show
up in a situation, probably when you least expect it,
but he will show up because he is Jehovah Shama,
the God who is already there for the ruvement. I
see you, good morning, God, bless you in the family
as well, my bro, my friend. No time, no't see God,
bless you. It's good to see you. So enity you
is strong. Doesn't mean that we have won every single battle,
(16:36):
although in the spirit we win. But you know what,
I'm saying, sometimes we do things a man that get
in the way of God's plan for our lives and
the battle that we were already supposed to win. We
might fail or lose some of those battles, but that's
on us, right. But nyity is strong means that you
(17:00):
they didn't give up when times were getting hard and
when the enemy was saying, the enemy was telling you,
whispering in your ears, go ahead, man, give up. This
is not even worth it. Right, you're wasting your time.
You ever heard the enemy's voice like that. You're wasting time.
This is not gonna happen, This is not gonna change,
this is gonna keep Nah, don't listen to that voice.
(17:21):
If the voice that you're listening to brings doubt, fear,
it brings anxiety, it brings stress, it brings all kinds
of double mindedness, that's not the voice of God. It's
easy to tell the voice of the enemy. Enemy never
tells the truth. Think about it. Enemy always always lying
to us. Amen, there is no truth in him, Amen,
(17:43):
Brother Rumen, said, my pastor preached through these those verses
from Galatians this past Sunday, Glory to God, Amen, Holy
Spirit speak Amen, And move why because we know that
when we rely and trust on the Holy Spirit, he
will speak to us individually corporately, and he would try
to unify and continue to unify the body and will
be under one spirit, one faith, one hope, one God, Amn,
(18:06):
one salvation, one baptism. We know who we are in
Him because He is in us. Thank you for sharing that,
brother gumen So. And then the year strong right means
that you kept praying even when you didn't want to pray.
And it's not like there's going to be a shortage
of prayer. The other day I wrote, keep praying until
(18:28):
there's nothing else to pray for it. In other words,
I'm being a wise God. There's always something to pray for.
So I'm trying to encourage you to stay in your word,
keep praying, keep praying. If you kept praying when you
didn't feel like praying, you won some battles. I can
guarantee that. And you're finishing off strong and you're strengthening
your faith. You kept believing when people don't even sometimes
(18:53):
believe in you or believe in me. Keep believing in
the one who believes in you and believes in me,
the Lord Jesus keep believing in the truth, the way,
and the life, the Lord Jesus. Keep on believing in
the living Word of God, the Lord Jesus. Keep on
believing in the faith the Lord Jesus. Amen, and move
in that direction. That's why when people look at a
(19:15):
believer born again filled with the Holy Spirit, yes they're
going to see flaws. If they look hard enough, they're
gonna find it right away. But they're not going to
deny that. We have trust, faith and hope in a living, holy,
righteous God. So when things happen in my life and
in your life, when we lose a loved one, when
the finances are not right, when relationships with our spouse
(19:36):
or with our children it's edgy, a man, we keep
on keeping on, and we keep on trusting and putting
our whole faith and trust in the one who could
put things together, who can make things right, who continue
to encourage us and inspire us to move forward. That's winning,
and that's keeping the faith, and that's the way that
(19:56):
we stay strong and that we finish strong. And I
say this a lot. You showed up, right, You showed
up even when no one saw the struggle in your life.
Kept on showing up for somebody else. Were you weren't
so self absorbed, like, Man, I'm going through pain and suffering,
so I'm not gonna help nobody. I hope everybody else
(20:17):
goes to pain and stuffing. We're not going to be
that way. The world is like that. You ever noticed
that if someone is miserable, they want other people to
be miserable. If someone's unhappy, they want other people to
be unhappy. If someone is struggling, they want everybody else
to be struggling with them. Amen. That's the world mindset.
We're not of this world. We have a kingdom mindset.
(20:38):
That's why we move differently. We move like the Messiah moved.
We position ourselves for blessings. We position ourselves to be
a blessing to help others. Amen. Regardless whether or not
they believe in Jesus or not, we show up and
we bring the glory of God. We bring the Kingdom
of God, we bring the love of God, we bring
the mercy of God. We bring the peace of God
(20:59):
into any situation that we show up in. Amen. Because
we're world priesthood. If you knew who you were in Christ,
you will start moving differently. But unfortunately, a lot of
people don't know who they are in Christ, so they
move the same way the world moves because they rely
on the things that they could see before. They trust things. Right, Well,
(21:22):
we move as believers in the unseen things, and we
have faith in Jesus that those unseen things. Amen. He's
going to take us to it and through it for
a purpose and plan. And it's not only going to
be for our benefit, for our blessing. It's going to
be for somebody on the other side. Or got to
do is show up. And if you're still standing right now,
(21:43):
think about it. It's proof that God is still working
in your life and in my life after all the
things that happen this year. If you're still standing, that's proof.
That's evidence. You know. The atheist is always looking for evidence.
They always say there is no evidence that there's a God,
and they're looking at the born again believer right in
(22:03):
front of them. They just don't know your transformation. They
don't know your testimony, they don't know your story, Amen.
And sometimes all you have to do is share it.
And sometimes they'll argue. Even with that arg you with
your testimony, and they'll try to eliminate the God factor.
In your life and my life and call it something else. Right,
they'll try to borrow words from the Bible, Amen, like
(22:26):
goodness and peace and morality and all that they try
to borrow from the scriptures to prove the scriptures wrong.
It's amazing. But God loves the atheists and he knows
that those people just have a heartened heart. It's not
that they can't believe, is that they refuse to believe.
And there's people out there in your life and in
my life that we know that we should keep on
praying for, keep on showing up for as long as
(22:48):
they're searching, as long as they're seeking for a true, living, holy,
righteous God. We could be God's representative where Jesus ambassadors
He on this earth. Amen. So don't quit, especially right
now we're so close to the end of the year.
Don't coasten soon the new year with discouragement, right, No,
anchor yourself into faith, anchor yourself in God, anchor yourself.
(23:10):
Finish this year on your knees if you have to,
and pray with gratitude in your heart and expect God
to do something in your spirit because he will and
he is and he has been. Because God finishes what
he starts. In your strongest season may be right around
the corner, it might be just there, just ahead of you.
(23:32):
But don't stop. Keep on going, Amen, don't quit, don't
quit finished strong, Amen. And I know this is a
end of year type of you know, inspiration or motivation. Amen,
is that the Lord led me to these scriptures and
he let me hear maybe because my own personal life
(23:53):
that sometimes you know, I run an online radio ministry.
It's not easy, it's don't obey, and the donations are
real low. Praise God for every single person who has
donated to the ministry. I'm not saying that I'm not
one of those guys and those preachers that say, if
it wasn't for you, this ministry wouldn't be able to
(24:14):
go forward. That would be a lie. It's all about
the Lord what he has done and men. But when
we come together purposefully, intentionally and join in ministry with
one another, a lot more things could happen, at least
in this physical realm, right, you know what I'm talking about.
But it's hard, and sometimes I'll be looking at a
(24:35):
screen when I'm working behind the scenes on the radio
network and I'm like, man, I need help, Lord, and
the Lord reminds me you already have the help. That's
why you're still doing what you're doing. Since two thousand
and eight till today. You're still doing what you're doing
because I'm not stopping to believe. I'm still dreaming and
I'm still hoping in Christ, the one who gave me
(24:56):
this idea, gave me the message, told me what was
going to happen on the other side. Maybe it's not
going to be with my generation. Maybe it's not going
to be with me. Maybe it's going to be after me.
But the thing is, I'm going to keep on holding
on to God's promises for this ministry, for my life,
or my family, for my children, for my grandchildren, for
their children. Amen, and keep on moving forward, regardless whether
(25:19):
or not the budget is there to do it. Faith
doesn't cost you anything, right, But being a disciple in
Christ will cost you everything. It's a big difference. Right,
Jesus is not hard to follow. We get in the
way of the discipline, we get in the way of
being a disciple of Christ sometimes. Amen. So keep on
(25:40):
moving forward. Finish the year with faith, not with frustration.
Finish the year off strong. So I am out of time.
We were in tewod Timothy where where we chapter number
or verse number seven. Take your time today and read
Second Timothy chapter four, the whole chapter. We can't out
of verse number seven. But God is faithful, He's good
(26:03):
all the time. Right, So thank you so much for
hanging out with me for this morning. Devo. God bless
you all, God keep you all, and remember always that
God is good. Peace,
