Speaker 1 (00:03):
Good morning, family, Good morning, God blessed. Welcome back. It's
a new week, new day. Welcome back to the Morning.
DeVos you bro Sam Lopez aka DJ Sam rock So
Winners with A Z dot Rigs, the Celebratio Network, thank
you so much for coming back, and a man.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
We're here.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
We're live streaming on some social media platforms including X.
We're back on x formerly known as Twitter as well
streaming live. So thank you so much for coming through.
So listen, there's a lot going on right in our
world and our country and our mason around the world, actually,
but there's more going on within every single one of us.
(00:41):
And if we're not careful, we could get into what
we're gonna call hatred hat red. Some people just think
that word is hat read, but it's hatred, right. There's
a lot of hate, haters going around, a lot of
hatred going around, a lot of haters, a lot of
things happening in our world because of past events, because
(01:02):
of historical events, because of what happened in the past
and our nation, and a lot of people have built
up what we call hatred.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Right.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
The Bible actually describes certain kinds of hatred that God
hates that's a word all by itself. I'm gonna say
it again. The Bible describes certain kinds of hatred that
God hates, hatred that contradicts his nature of love, truth,
(01:37):
and righteousness. Can't even make that up. So we know
God is a god of love. God is love. But
did you know that God hates He hates sin, and
he hates certain kinds of hatred because it contradicts his
(01:58):
nature of love, truth, and righteousness.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
I don't know how you came to the Lord or
if you're even in the Lord right now, Right, I
don't know if you believe in Jesus, the Christ, the
Lord Jesus as your savior.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
But wherever you find yourself is based on the decisions
you're making currently. Right, we're gonna be your first John
chapter three, verse fifteen, and we're gonna see the kind
of hatred or the kinds of hatred that God hates.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Right.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
You can have reasons for why you are angry, why
you're upset at people at a nation, at other cultures. Right,
But God's word should be the governing word over our lives. Right,
God's words should be the governing word for our actions.
(02:54):
It's deeper than I think I'm going to say. Then
you think right, Good morning man, Well I see you.
Wars start within a man, Yes, inner, inner reach, in
reach before outreach. That's what I always tell people when
they want to go into ministry and want to do outreach.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
I said, let's do it in reach first.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
They prayed up, get into the word, and then go
out because a lot of people are dealing with a
lot of hatred, and if we feed that type of
energy of hatred, we're going to be hating every single
person that hates us, and we're going to be shocked,
or at least I was shocked when I first realized
that God hates hatred because it contradicts His nature of love, truth,
(03:44):
and righteousness. That's where we're going to be today on
the Morning Devo. If you have any questions, comments, concerns,
prayer requests, please.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Don't hesitate to leave it on a live chat.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
That's what we're here for, amen, We're here to gather
together fellowship. Right, get into the Word and make this
first part of our day a man. Sorry, I'm looking down.
I forgot to share it to my group now. Amen,
So let's go pray first. After we pray we'll shed
us out for like sixty seconds, and then on the
(04:17):
other side of those sixty seconds we'll get right into
today's morning. Devo man Well says God has nothing to
do with hatred at all, because God is love. That's right,
and that's why it flies in the face when I
don't want to give away the scripture yet. But if
I have an issue with my brother or my sister
(04:38):
in Christ and it turns into an issue of hatred,
that's not golly. That's actually me right and my self hating.
And God doesn't approve of that. He doesn't sanction hate,
trith right hatred towards one another.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
So let's pray.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
Father, Peace is what you offer, peaces, what you give
for all who love you and follow your commandments. Thank you,
Love God, for the peace of God, because we have
peace with God because of the Lord Jesus Christ. I
pray Lord God Peace over every single person right now
that's watching or listening. I pray that over myself, the
peace of God, the love of God, the mercy of God,
(05:17):
the grace of God over myself, my wife, our children,
our grandchildren, and every single member and our family, both
young and old, and every single person in between. I
pray Lord God for my son and his family, that
they have lost his uncle and it's a tough situation.
(05:43):
I'm not a liberty to say how what happened, but
I pray comfort and peace over the Batista family right
now and the powerful matchless.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
Name of Jesus.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
I pray Lord God for empathy and sympathy should be
expressed towards more the siblings towards one another, that this
would create in them a bond like them, but before
a bond of love.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
A bond of peace with each other, a bond of.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
Just unity in the family during this tough time in
their life. I pray he with my son and his family,
his wife and his family as well, and my grands
that they might not understand what's happened.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
In Jesus Holy name, and.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
For every single person out there that is suffering a
loss of a loved one, that is maybe looking at
the culture and.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Watching it shift a man.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
There's a lot of beautiful things happening, and there's a
lot of not so beautiful things happening in our world.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
But Father God, I.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
Pray that we will all be in your path of
righteousness and that we will be in your path of love,
and we will be in your path of truth and
the powerful the name of Jesus.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
I pray it's by faith and the name of Jesus.
Amen to the Amen. So thank you, thank you so
much for coming through and agreeing with the prayer. If
you agree, man.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Well says hatred is being out of God's will. Wow,
that's deep. Amen, very good comment. So listen, let's take
sixty seconds. Help me share this side. When we come back,
we'll get right into it. I'll be right back.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Amen, back, So listen, this is something that's been on
my heart man for currently for a couple of weeks. Now,
I'm like, why so much hatred? And I'm not going
to say in the body of Christ, like I heard
somebody say that the church is the body of Christ.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
That's up a debate.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
That is help for debate depending on your definition of
the church, Amen, and considering the church as the body
of Christ, that's ulf a debate. There is no hatred
in the Kingdom of God. Let me just say that
there's no spot or blemish in the body of Christ.
Let me just say that, according to the scripture, finished
work of Jesus shows that he's coming back for a
(09:33):
spotless bride.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Right. His church, his church, his body. Amen.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
And when I hear people say the church is the
body of Christ, I'm a little cautious on that because
if they're saying that their church, and there's obviously things
going on, and then the excuse would be, well, we're
all human and we all fail and we all frail.
You know you heard it before, right, that every church
(10:04):
is different, and that there's imperfect people and leadership and
all that stuff. That's that's so true. But we're not
talking about a church organization. We're talking about the Body
of Christ, which is an organism. A man over here,
that's what we're talking about. So I understand that. Yeah,
(10:24):
I admit that I fail at times, Amen, But I
also admit that I'm in the body of Christ, the
Church of Christ, who has which denomination.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
Is the Church of God? Right?
Speaker 1 (10:40):
Which is the church. That's why I'm like a little
leery when people say, you know, the church is the
body of Christ. No, the body of Christ is the
body of Christ. I don't know why I went down
that room anyway, It must be something that God's dealing
with me right now and during these times but and
listen before people get in uned is the graphic has
(11:02):
nothing to.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
Do with the topic.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
I just picked a graphic to put on the front
of the cover hatred.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
So don't please don't be like, oh, look Samus making
subs on his podcast and he put an image of
a white woman when an arm's open, and he put hatred.
Don't go there, because that's not the issue at all.
(11:33):
The expression that she has on her face is what
drew me to the graphic, because that's how I feel, like.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Why so, miss hatred? It's a question, amen. First, John
chapter three, verse fifteen.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
Everyone who hates works against his brother in Christ is
at heart a murderer by God's standards. And you know
that no murderer has eternal life abiding that means a
(12:07):
living in him. We have the crush reference Matthew chapter five,
verses twenty one to twenty three. So this is for us,
this is for everybody in the church outside the church, believers,
non believers, atheists, agnostics, skeptic, cynics, everyone who hates. But
I believe the Lord is talking to his people, works
(12:31):
against his brother in Christ. Right, If you're doing that,
you're a murderer because when people are asking the question
if you ever sinned, and another person yeah, sin, But
you know I never did.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
I never killed anybody. I never murdered anybody.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Well, according to God's standard. That's why the Bible honestly
tells us that we all fall short of the glorious
standards of Christ. We all fall show up the glory
of God. Why because His standards are high and lifted
up above our standards.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
So we have.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
Something against a brother in Christ in our heart that
is considered murder by God's standards.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
And you know that, right.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
I hope you know that no murderer has eternal life,
or no murderer has the life of God living inside
of him. To me, I could say, where I see it,
the Holy Spirit is not living or abiding inside of
you if you carry around hatred towards your brother in Christ.
(13:45):
Matthew five twenty three is the cross reference if you
want to go a little further with this.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
So that's a big ouch for the morning, at least
for me. I'm like, wow, Lord, really you got me here? Yes,
because everyone has to deal with issues in life concerning.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
Hatred.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
Like we were sharing some stories, me and my younger brother,
my youngest brother sharing some stories about.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
Places that you go to nowadays that have.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
Sundown cities, that you go to certain establishments, and that
if you look different than what the establishment is looking like,
I'll just put like that you're considered an intruder. And
you can see the hatred in people's eyes. And I've
experienced it with my own two eves. Not knowing where
(14:48):
I was, and I didn't know that still existed, especially
in my state, and I was in a certain city
I'll need to leave unnamed. And I was there in
the evening, and man, the eyes of hatred that I saw,
I was like, wow, it was a restaurant. The waitress
(15:09):
came up and she says, it's to go right, just
like that, in other words, we don't want you here,
so please order and leave. And me not using a
lot of wisdom that day, I ordered. What did I
expect that order was gonna be good? And I ordered,
(15:30):
and as I thought in the back of my mind,
the food was horrible, and I think they made sure
it was horrible so that way I wouldn't return to
that establishment.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
So I tossed it out the window.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
My bad littered because I had some anger without and
then I where I was going. It was an hour
and change away from that place. I was delivering meds
that a patient needed that night. I was on mission
to get those meds to the patient. But man, that
(16:04):
was tough on me because it totally caught me off guard.
Because you know that, know me, know that I don't
like to hurt people. I don't like to insult no one.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
I don't like to hate.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Right, But when it's received and you're not like, it
throws you off. You're like, man, so you have to
write down the spot, rely on the Holy Spirit God
to help you through that, because that's tough stuff.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
I don't know why.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
People or how people could be that way, but we're
dealing with that, Amen, and our current generation we're dealing
with that. So that's the scripture that God drew me to, Amen, and.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
I'm dealing with it. Right.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
I don't want to have hatred in my heart, especially
for my brothers and sisters in Christ. It flies in
the face of who God is. And if I'm truly
a believer in Christ, why would they even go down
that road. Well, the flesh, hey, man, no excuse, I'm
saying that the flesh is all up in that hatred.
(17:15):
The flesh is all about arguing. The flesh is all
about having its way. And if we don't keep the
flesh in check, or if we feed the flesh, we'll
get the consequences or we'll get the results of the flesh.
But if we so into the Spirit of God, the
Word of God, the love of God, the truth of God,
the righteousness of God, we will get the results of
(17:38):
that which is so much better. Sister Joyce, I see you,
good morning, God, bless you. Thank you for the blessings
and love to the group as well.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
In Jesus Holy Name, Thank you, my sister, my friend,
for showing up to the morning devot.
Speaker 1 (17:52):
So there's a hatred, certain kinds of hatred that God hates.
Number one, hatred that murders in the art, that's what
we just read first John three fifteen. The Lord taught
us that hatred toward another person is like committing murder
in your heart and our heart. Now, that's how serious
(18:16):
the Lord is dealing with that, right. I don't know
if people realized that. It's because God's standards are high
way higher than our standards. But when we have the
righteousness of Christ living in us, we could do that,
can't do it on our own. Jesus plainly told us
(18:37):
that with him we could do all things, and without
him we could do nothing. And I believe it's because
we want to have his standards moving or his standards
being accomplished in our lives and our hearts without his
spirit in us. Right, So this goes for everyone because
the scripture says everyone who hates his brother is a murderer.
(19:00):
You know that no murderer has eternal life of biding
in him. So God hates this because it destroys what.
It destroys relationships, It fuels violence, and opposes his command
to actually love. Right in the same room, if you
met somebody that loves Christ, they show love to you,
(19:24):
and here comes somebody that shows hatred. Who do you
think God is going to be pleased with more the
person that's showing hatred. Now, I didn't say that God
hates those who hate God?
Speaker 2 (19:41):
Is love? Right? I used to be an enemy of God?
What about you? Before he saved me?
Speaker 1 (19:46):
I was an enemy of God, So he still loved me,
He still loves you. What I'm saying is that if
two people in the room and one is showing love,
and one is showing hatred.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
Amen. That's flying in the face of who God is.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
So if you're in Christ and you say you're a
born again believer and you have hatred for your brother
in Christ, take a pause, walk away, pray, silence yourself
for a minute, go in your secret place. Ask God
to help you out of that situation. Because I don't
want to be considered.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
A murder murderer.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
I know you don't want to be considered a murderer.
And then Baba says, no, murderer has eternal life abiding him.
That should be a place of like, no, I'm not
going there. I want the eternal life of Christ living
inside of me to abide in me. Amen, there's no
other way. Hatred rooted and injustice. That's number two. When
(20:46):
people hate others because of envy, pride, or personal gain,
it leads to oppression those people I don't want them
to win. Leads to envy, pride and oppression. Growing up
where I grew up, in the hood of Brooklyn, New York,
(21:06):
there was people who showed a lot of love in
those projects, man, and there was other people that if
they saw you winning, or we used to say getting
your weight up. We used to say it was a
slang or as soon as somebody is coming up, that
was another slang. People for whatever reason they didn't like that.
(21:31):
They used to say, why those people are, you know,
winning and I'm not and we're not. It caused a
lot of violence, It caused a lot of envy, caused
a lot of pride because when people were coming up,
(21:51):
we would say, our crew would congratulate that, unless they
would fly it in our face and say, Hahi, you
don't have what we have right Amos Chapter five, verse ten.
The scripture says, if they hate him who reproves in
the gate, and they abhor him who speaks the truth, man,
(22:13):
oh Man, speak the truth in our country, and depending
on who's receiving that truth, they'll hate you or love you,
depends what we're talking right right now is considered hate
speech in a lot of communities, for certain communities. And
(22:36):
obviously it won't make sense. It won't drive to a
born again believer that this is considered hate speech.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
It doesn't. It doesn't make sense.
Speaker 1 (22:45):
Rightfully, So why because if the people that are calling
to this hate don't have the spirit of God living
within them or abiding in them. Amen, they won't understand this.
This is gibberish. These scriptures, these messages, these morning DeVos
that are inspired by the Lord Jesus by way of
(23:06):
Holy Spirit, is gibberish to those who are perishing.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
In other words, for those who don't.
Speaker 1 (23:12):
Have the abiding One living within them, those who don't
have Holy Spirit living within them, this is gibberish.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
Tune out real quick.
Speaker 1 (23:20):
But those who are seeking truth, who are seeking righteousness,
who are seeking love, who are dealing with their own self,
the inner self, and they don't want to be a
hater anymore. And this is going to make sense because
God's drawing you, drawing that person to himself and saying, listen,
I love you, and I want you to hear this.
(23:40):
I want you to know me in a more intimate way.
I want you to ask me to forgive you or
want you to walk holiness and righteousness. I want to
fill you with my Holy Spirit. That's what God is
telling a person right now who is seeking truth, who
is seeking love, not just happiness, not just personal gain,
right seeking truth.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
God is right.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
There, The Lord Jesus is right there, right there, and
he's saying, listen, I love you, and I have open
arms for you. The invitation is for you. The day
of salvation is today. Amen for you. Right now, Manuel said,
God has given us the spirit of truth. Right there's
(24:23):
nothing that the Lord has said that should be considered
a lot.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
He speaks truth.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
Every single time he opened his mouth, it was full
of grace and truth. There's never a time, even when
Jesus flipped the tables over, even when Jesus was confronting
the Pharisee, Sadducies and scribes about Moses and the commandments,
right the way they were propping up themselves as if
they were better than the others. Even in those conversations,
(24:51):
you could see that God was showing authority also with
grace and love. The reason why you could see grace
there because he didn't wipe them out.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
He could have said, listen, you.
Speaker 1 (25:02):
Guys, are or are making my people strained because of
your you know, religion.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
He didn't do that.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
He had the conversation, the tough conversation with the scribes,
Pharisees and Sadducees, and yet they went away alive, untouched.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
There was no war.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
Did you notice that there was no rebellious war against
the Pharisians Sadducees. Jesus didn't tell's disciples, okay, let's war
against these people. He didn't say that. Read the scriptures Matthew, Mark, Luke,
and John you'll see how Jesus moved right. And then
after Jesus completed his mission on this earth, because he
(25:41):
said it is finished. That was the mission of sin
that was paid a man. He did what the prophet said,
prophesied about him. He completed that over three hundred prophecies
on that cross. Wow. Right, he forgave us right there
from the cross, He said, Father, forgive them right there
from the cross. And a person, one of the thieves,
(26:05):
next to them.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
He brought them.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
With him into Paradise. That same day he said, today
you will be with me in Paris. So we're not
talking about a God who hates us because we hate him.
We're talking about who God who loves those who hate
him a man, because he knows the condition of man's heart.
He created us, so he knows where we're going and
(26:31):
why we're going there. But yet his love, his grace
is mercy, right, is drawing us closer to him.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (26:40):
So that's why we can see to pray for our enemies.
The Lord said, pray for your enemies. You know this
is not us in them a war, and let's fight,
and let's have hatred towards another. God is not The
Messiah doesn't raise murderers.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
The Messiah raises people who love people to life.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
Life.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
Ma'm well said, It's impossible for God to lie.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
Amen, it's against his nature. He's the God of truth,
not the God of lies.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
So listen.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
Amount of time, it's a lot here, Amen. Maybe we'll
keep continuing down this line. Just to nil side.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
I see you.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Good morning, God, bless you. Thank you so much for
coming through the morning. Devo and men, there's a lot here.
Go to First John chapter number three. We were in
verse fifteen, but read the whole chapter, First John chapter
three for yourself and see how God will expand on
what we shared on the morning Devo.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
Hatred.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Let's come against hatred and show love towards one another.
So thank you for coming through. God, bless you all.
Got to keep you all and remember always that God
is good.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
Peace.
