Good morning family, Good morning God bless you. Welcome back
to the morning DeVos. You broke Sam Lopez aka DJ
Sam Rock, So winners would is z dot org. That's
the Celeradio network the leh have Valley's number one urban
gospel music station online since two thousand and eight. We're
still here, all glory to God. Also, I live that
so win is with a z dot org. Streaming on

(00:21):
social media platforms that allow of stream to go through,
including our YouTube page and on x formerly known as Twitter. Amen,
if you like that platform as well, so let's go
for it. We're also on Twitch, believe it or not. Amen,
We've been on there for a while. I'm not a
lot of activity over there, amen, because I know that's
for like a different group of people. Amen. But we're
on there as well, spilling the beans, amen, and spreading

(00:44):
the gospel. So we are here. Holidays fade, Holidays fade.
We're in a holiday season. But you know, these holiday
seasons fade, but the holiness of the holidays never fades.
The holiness and of those holy days never fade. It
should be internally and eternally alive. So when the celebrations end,

(01:07):
one question still remains. One question still stands, at least
in my heart, what are you left with when the
hype is gone? Think about it, With all the gifts giving,
after all the decorations and all that, what are you
actually left with when the holidays fade? That's what we're
gonna be talking about today in the morning, Devo. If
you have any questions, comments, concerns, prayer requests, or anything

(01:31):
along those lines, and please don't hesitate to leave another
live chat. That's what we're here for, amen. Don't be
afraid to engage. What we're doing over here, Amen, this
is for the glory of God. This is to encourage
you to get into the scriptures for yourself, Amen, and
experience what Holy Spirit has for you your life in
you today, right now, this moment, and this time holidays fade. Amen,

(01:54):
Today in the morning Devo. Second Corinthians, chapter number nine,
verse number fifteen. That's where we're gonna be camping out
today day. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, prayer requests,
or anything along those lines, live chat is open. We're
gonna pray first. After we pray, we share us out
for like sixty seconds, and then on the other side
of those sixty seconds we'll get into our morning devot scripture. Amen,

(02:15):
and listen even during the live after the sixty seconds,
whether you're with us live or not, you can still
share this out to as many people as come to
your heart. Amen. Sometimes, if you really pray about who
you would like to share these morning DeVos with, sometimes
I believe God will direct you to the people, or
He will always direct to the people that need this. Amen.

(02:37):
And sometimes all you have to do is pray, and
God will create a space and a place and a
time for the people that he's targeting, Amen, which is
everyone he wants. Jesus said, I wish none should perish,
but everyone have eternal life, and his grace and his
mercy allows us to repent, turn from my wickedness and

(02:58):
turn to him. He's very patient with us. Heymen, if
you haven't noticed that for ready, So let's pray. Father.
I thank you that although the holidays may fade away,
your love, your grace, and your mercy remains, your eternal
gift keeps on giving for all eternity. I thank you
Lord Jesus for your love. Thank you Lord God for

(03:20):
rescuing us, for saving us, for giving us a new
life for giving us a second chance. Thank you, Lord
God for giving us the born again experience. I pray,
Lord God, that every single time that we see a
gift under a tree, or at a celebration, or when
we get together to celebrate one another, that you will
be honored and your name will be lifted up. I
thank you, Lord God for the opportunity to speak your gospel,

(03:43):
spread your gospel, preach the gospel, your gift of baptism,
go ahead and make disciples. Thank you, Lord God for
your great commission. We don't need permission to do what
we're doing. We're already commissioned to do what we're doing
if we're children of the Lord. I thank you, Lord
God for this opportunity. I thank you for the hedge

(04:04):
of protection, that you can see the guide guard and
protect me and my family. Lord God, that Lord God,
you will be with my mom during his time in
the hospital as she is recovering in the name of Jesus.
Lord God, that you will hold her heart, that you
will hold her health in your hands, Lo God, and
that she will continue to trust and believe in who

(04:25):
you are as a healer. Thank you, Lord God for
the opportunity to pray for one another, and to pray
for situations maybe that people don't want to pray about,
but you know it already. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for
guiding us and guarding us, and protecting us, and reminding
us that although the holidays of this world may fade away,
but your love endure us forever. In the name of Jesus,
I pray this us by faith with thanksgiving, knowing that

(04:47):
you are able to hear these prayers, and you are
able to answer these prayers according to every single individual, corporately, individually, families, individuals,
and you answer us all according to your purpose and
will for our lives. And Jesus Holy Name, my praid
is by faith, and all those who agree we say
amen to the amen. Help me share the south fam

(05:09):
sixty seconds. When we come back, we'll get right into
today's scripture on the morning Devo. Second Corinthians, chapter number nine,
Verse number fifteen. I'll be right back. Let's go. Let's go.

(06:40):
Holiday's fade today in the morning, Devo. Let's get into
today's scripture again. Questions, comments, concerns, prayer requests, Live chat
is available. Are live. That's so. Winners with a z
dot org also on the website, so win is with
a z dot org. If you click the live stream
page if you just if you just want to listen,
just press play. But if you want to go to
the live stream, there's a lot of stream page on

(07:01):
the website. Make sure you download our apps so you
could take us wherever you want. Amen, on the apps
available iOS and Android as well, A man. And there's
a lot chat all through those devices and those platforms
or glory to God, Amen, So don't be afraid or
hesitant to speak what you want to speak, Amen, concerning

(07:21):
these morning DeVos. A man. Even if you have a
prayer request, it'd be my honor and pleasure to pray
for you for your requests. A man. I'm a prayer warrior.
I'm praying all the time. Amen. There's never a shortage
of prayer. I can tell you that there's always something
to pray about. Amen. So there's no shortage of that.
Sister Joanne, I see you. Good morning. God bless you,
my sister and my friend. It's good to see you

(07:43):
on the morning devot. Good morning to you as well.
So let's go forward. Let's put it on the screen
for those who are watching with us, holidays fade, and
we already know that. If you've lived a life on
this planet long enough, you know that these holidays come
and go. The love of God endors forever a man.
His holiness endors forever, and He is the Holy One

(08:05):
that we celebrate on these holy days, regardless of what
the world is doing, his followers, his children. A man,
the word priesert is celebrating the Lord Jesus. Second Korea Things,
chapter number nine, Verse number fifteen says, now, thanks be
to God for his indescribable gift, which is precious beyond words.

(08:30):
I can't even begin to explain to you, amen, the
holiness of God. I can't begin to express to you
the gift of God that he has given to all humanity,
and that he offers us daily life. He offers us
eternal life daily, Amen, for all eternity. But you have

(08:51):
to receive this gift. And not a lot of times
have I ever seen somebody give back a gift unless
you're playing games gift giving games, right, But usually when
you get a gift, you're grateful, Like we were giving
gifts yes yesterday from the time. It's recording from a
family member and we were grateful. Right. It took us

(09:12):
by surprise because I don't think we had anything to return.
But now we know we will return a gift to
this person. But it was a blessing, So we're grateful
and we're not going to return a gift like I'm
not going to get a gift and say, you know what,
I don't want to take it back. That's rude, right,
But when God gives us something, we don't have to
worry about that. God gives us a gift which is indescribable, precious,

(09:37):
beyond words, and the Lord is was worthy of praise
because of it. Right, he gets all the praise on
a worship that he deserves at least from this side
of eternity. On this side amen, from soul winners and
from your brother Sam Lopez. So Christmas has a culture,

(09:58):
right versus it's the ca Kingdom culture kind of like
versus the culture of this world. A man, if you
think about it in those lines, because we do things differently,
at least we should be doing things differently as the
Kingdom of God. But Christmas away is always asking a question,
what did you get in the Christmas season? People go

(10:20):
up to you and go up to you the kids
and go up to your family and say what did
you get for Christmas? Right, well, Heaven and the Kingdom
of God will ask who did you receive? Instead of
what did you get? A good question. If you're asking
with kindness, Amen, you should say or ask who did

(10:43):
you receive? Did you receive the gift that's indescribable, the
eternal gift of love, grace and mercy, the eternal gift
of salvation, eternal life. A man, I know that might
be too much for a lot of people on the
receiving end. I'm like, man, I'm just asking about a
gift and you're talking about eternal life. Well, sometimes it
could be that serious. I think it is that serious.

(11:04):
But you know what I mean. Use discernment and when
you speak to people and try to meet them where
they are, just like God met us where we were
before we were saved. Amen, Jesus meets us where we
are to take us to where he is. Right. So
the world celebrates presence, and God revealed his presence p

(11:28):
R E. S E N C E and s to
spind on words of playing words. Yes, the presence under
the tree or gift was given to us during the season.
Some people don't receive gifts, like I said the other day,
So be mindful of that, be considerate of others. Some
people don't get anything, Amen. But we have the gift

(11:49):
that keeps on giving. So we could present somebody where
the presence of God. Amen. God reveals his presence a man.
The world celebrates the presence under the tree, or a
gift that's given to one another, which, by the way,
is not bad right when you receive something, as long
as you have a heart of gratitude. It's a beautiful

(12:11):
thing to receive a gift. And it's also more blessed,
according to the scriptures, to be the giver of a gift. Amen.
Is more blessed to give than to receive, the scriptures
are saying. So it helps us remain selfless, not selfish,
but selfless. When we give to others, it's a gift, Amen,
and it actually brings joy to our own soul. Jesus

(12:35):
wasn't wrapped in luxury when he came to this earth,
ladies and gentlemen, if you know the gospel, if you
know the way he came, he was wrapped in obedience.
He was wrapped in humility, and he was wrapped in love,
incredible right, the greatest gift that was ever given to humanity.
A man came not to a palace. He didn't come

(12:55):
by way of a palace by a chariot. A man.
He didn't go straight into a cat or to a
government building. He went to a virgin woman named Mary. Amen.
Holy Spirit came to marry, told her what was going
to happen. Mary being surprised, just like any young woman

(13:16):
would be. Wait a minute, I didn't how could I
be pregnant. I'm a virgin, a man if you know
the story, and then boom, she conceived by way of
Holy Spirit, the Lord Jesus Christ born from a virgin,
not into a family of luxury, a rich family, but no,

(13:38):
a humble situation happened when the Lord came to this earth. Amen.
So that should be a clue of how we should
be living a humble life. Humble life right. The world
celebrates presence. God revealed his presence through Jesus, who was
not wrapped in luxury, but he was wrapped in obedience,
humility and love. Right. That's why it brought me to

(14:01):
this scripture Tewod Corinthians nine fifteen, where we Thank God
for that. Thank God, Thanks be to God for his
indescribable gift. Like who what can you compare to the Lord?
Who can you compare to the Lord? What gift can
you compare to the gift of God? I you know

(14:22):
I'm saying, like my lists fall short? What about yours?
Can you compare a mansion with heaven? And you compare
a car where God's fiery chariots, and you compare money
to God's abundance? Right? Like? Think about it real clearly

(14:43):
you will start to notice that we are like blessed
to be a part of the Kingdom's plan, the King's plan,
and we're in the Kingdom of God, and we have
a message in our mouth and in our hearts that
we could go ahead and spread people. This is this
is one of the gifts that people will give back.

(15:05):
If you haven't, you noticed when you speak to somebody
about the Lord, they reject that gift. They reject that
conversation a lot of times for a lot of reasons.
I don't know. It could be their hurt from the church,
church hurt. It could be that they pray to God
for a miracle and that miracle then't come to pass.
According to how they or how we you know, think

(15:26):
about miracles a lot of things. So don't take it
too personal when it is personal, though, but don't take
it like they're rejecting you, to actually rejecting the gift
of God, hey man. And it's sad. And sometimes I've
been in those situations a lot. I walk away sad

(15:47):
because I'm like, man, what is it that they're holding
on too so tightly that they can't release what they're
holding on to and receive the greatest gift in their
life that will give them eternal life? Men? What would
it be? So when the tree comes down and the
sales end, By the way, those sales, you know, we'll

(16:09):
talk about that another time. They're not really sales. It's
marketing strategies. But anyway, when the treat comes down and
the sales and Jesus is still more than enough, and
Jesus remains Amen, beyond the gift giving, beyond the hype
of the holidays, Amen beyond all of that. Right, So

(16:34):
Jesus becomes the one over everything else or everyone else
during these holiday seasons. Now, if you're focused on what
the world is offering, like marketing sales, right, you have
these flash sales that they get me often on. Just

(16:54):
prepare yourself for those things to not be totally satisfifying
your soul. Prepare yourself like you could get something that
you've always wanted, and after a while that thing that
you feel or you felt that you always wanted, starts
to fade away. You could. I know people who love
the winter season. Well, when winter season comes, the winter

(17:16):
season goes. Everything in this life fades away. The only
thing that remains is God's word, His presence, is love,
his grace, his mercy. Jesus still stands, The Father still stands.
Holy Spirit remains on this side of eternity. Amen. Man.
Everything else fades away. A new car as soon as
you drive it off the lot, it depreciates. Right, clothing

(17:39):
as soon as you start washing them in the machine,
they start fading Amen away. What else our own body
that we are housed in. Right, We have a soul,
spirit housed in a body. Amen. This body starts to
fade away. But everything that God gives us never phades away.

(18:00):
Everything that He's spoke in resistance is still here. Everything
that God created is still here. Is eternal. God sits
outside of our time. He sits outside of our realm
a man and answered into this realm by way of
Jesus the Christ, in the form of a man named Jesus,
the Messiah, the Michik McGee, the anoint, the One of God,

(18:22):
the Holy One, the wonderful Counsel, that the Prince of Peace,
Almighty God shows up in the form of a man
named Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Right, And that was the
greatest gift indescribable, according to Two Corinthians nine fifteen. Isn't
that amazing? Like how God showed up on the rescue
mission with the Kingdom message on his mouth. Amen. And

(18:44):
the first time he preached, he preached repentance, repent, turned
from your wickedness and turned to the righteousness of God,
and men, turning the hearts of men, turning the hearts
of women back to the Father. Because Genesis shot the
three happened, that a need for a redeemer, and that
redeemer still lives. Amen. I think in the scriptures, I

(19:06):
don't know if the garden faded away. I think what
happened was in that perfect situation, that perfect setup that
Adam and Eve was in, they were just kicked out.
I don't know if the Garden of Eden faded away.
I don't think anything that God creates fades away. Amen.
Besides us this body, but our soul, it's saved. Amen,

(19:31):
soul is saved. Jesus saves souls, doesn't save the flesh,
because the flesh and bones will not get into the
Kingdom of God, will not inherit the Kingdom God, will
not gain entrance into the Kingdom of God. They're gonna
see people in heaven. In the flesh. You can see
people in heaven perfectly in the spirit, and you get
to see not good people per se in heaven. You're

(19:54):
gonna see saved people in heaven. Their souls are saved.
Our souls are saved. And that that's a gift that
I will never give back. I don't think I can
give back that gift. Wacas was given by the Father. Amen.
Once you have it, you have it. I know people say, oh,
you can lose your salvation. I don't know where you
will lose your salvation. I just I know once you're saved,

(20:17):
you're born again. Amen. I think you have eternal security.
I think you're good. Amen. And if God needs to
take us out because we're headed in the wrong direction.
I believe his love is so strong that he will
remove us for our sake, for our safety. Amen. He
will move us from this world to take us, you know,

(20:39):
because we're going in a different direction, and he loves
us so much he doesn't want us to go that route.
That's just me and my personal, humble opinion of what
God would do for his children. Amen, seeing that his
sacrifice right, the Lord Jesus was the son who was given,
the son who was sent right, the child was born,

(21:00):
son is given according to the prophecy. Right. So when
all this height about the holidays, which is cool. I
love kids' eyes, man, like, I keep on getting these
gifts or glory to God from you know, they're being
shipped Amazon, Walmart, and my young one says, is that
for me? Like she's had? So she has this excitement.

(21:22):
My ten year old too, They have this excitement they're expecting. Amen.
Why don't we as adults expect the gift of God.
Why don't we are as adults expect God to provide? Amen.
I ran into issues with my car. I make a
living driving for the most part, right, and my car

(21:43):
breaks down, you know, and you know what car repairs
how expensive they are. Right. God provided right, And I
was literally doing math in my head and literally my
accounts weren't able to cover it on the spot. So
I literally called the mechanic amen. And this is how

(22:05):
I responded prematurely. I told him Meccanic, well, you're gonna
have to keep the car for a little longer until
I get the money up. Then I said, you know what, Lord,
it's there. I know it's there. I had to do
some math and put some accounts together, and I was
able to do it. Amen, All glory to God. I
was able to get that car out without any assistance

(22:26):
for my wife or any friends or family. Amen. Which
I thought I was gonna have to humble myself and
ask for assistance. But God provided. Amen. He provides. He's
a gift that keeps on giving. Just trust him, put
your faith in him. You hope him. Amen. Believe in
the scriptures over your life and in your life and

(22:48):
through your life. He's there. He's Jehovah Shaman, the guy
who is there, the God who is in your situation
and in my situation. He sees our needs and provides
for every single one of those needs. Jehovah Jira Amen,
He's our healer, So our pray healing over my mom again.
Like I said early in my prayers, Amen, already have
prayer worries on it as well, healing to my mom's

(23:08):
body physically, emotionally and spiritually. Right now, in the name
of Jesus, I just trust God. Amen. You should trust
God too by way of Holy Spirit. You should trust
God too by way of his word. You should believe
in Jesus, by way of the Gospels wemen, and should
understand the holidays of this world fate. But the Kingdom

(23:29):
of God never fades away. The Word of God never
fades away. His holiness and our holiness never fades away. Amen.
We are in a royal precinct. We are holy because
God is holy. We are good because God calls us good.
He calls us righteous. Amen. Right standing with the Father
because of what Jesus did John fourteen six, I believe
says Jesus said, I am the Way, the Truth, and

(23:50):
the Life. No one comes to the Father except by
him or through him. No one can jump over the
hurdle of the Lord to get to the Father. And
I know there's a movement that's been a movement for
years and years and years Father only that people say
we don't need the Savior, we don't need the Messiah,
and that's blasphemy. According to what Jesus said, you need
him to get to the Father, and people are saying, now,

(24:13):
you don't need Jesus. Take the Book of John out
of the scriptures. I literally have people tell me that,
and it broke my heart. People who I knew were
born again trying to remove Jesus out of the equation
and man for whatever reason. Like I said, it could
be hurt, pain, it could be relationship issues. It could
be just like they're going through a learning curve, or

(24:33):
maybe they're hurry a popular teaching, popular doctrine. Amen. But no,
Jesus said, He's the way, the truth in the life.
No one gets to the Father except to him. I
don't think. I don't think he's a hurdle. I don't
think there's anybody too athletic or so athletic that could
jump over that hurdle. I can tell you right now.
Good morning, sister Joy's, good morning, God bless you. Welcome

(24:54):
to the morning, Devo, and thank you for your family
as well. Praying with you and Jesus, and thank you
for your prayers. Amen. My mom needs prayer. She's in
the hospital and she needs our prayers. Amen. So that's
what I have today. Holidays fade. Amen. I'm not trying

(25:15):
to discourage anyone. Holidays are beautiful, especially when you have family,
especially when you have the Church of Christ. Amen. Especially
when you're in a family of God, the Body of
Christ and surrounding. You're surrounded with people who genuinely loved you,
not for what they could get from you, but because
of who you are in Christ and who you are

(25:36):
in their life and the blessing that you become to others. Amen. Celebrate,
Go ahead and celebrate. Be full of joy. Amen. Dream.
Don't be afraid to dream, whether you're a young kid
all the way to an adult, continue to dream God dreams. Amen.
Continue to love one another, lift one another up, encourage

(25:56):
one another. And the things of the Lord right to
hold on to the word. Hold on to this word
the scriptures, man, and you will always be amazed at
what God can do. Right the music stops, receipts remain
coming over all the money that you spend, Amen, So
just reflect. Reflect on the holidays. Sometimes if real loud

(26:21):
but short lived. The Holidays promised joy, but sometimes they
deliver more pressure than joy. Right, they fill calendars but
can leave hearts empty. Think about it. Holidays fade. So celebrate.
I had to celebrate, but be intentional of how you celebrate. Brother,
my bro e, my blood brother, Amen, Eric, Good morning,

(26:44):
God blessed Amen. Thank you for coming through my bro
to the morning Devo. So I'm out of time though,
But of course Second Corinthians, chapter nine, Verse fifteen is
where we camped out. I suggest you take the whole scripture,
the whole chapter Second Printhians, chapter nine, and read it
today so you could get the full revelation of what

(27:04):
the apostle was saying to the church. So God bless
you all, God keep you all, remember always that God
is good. Peace.
