Sharing the gospel is the most loving act of service because it introduces others to the eternal hope found only in Jesus. It’s not about pressure or eloquence, but about love, boldness, and reliance on the Holy Spirit.

Speaker 1 (00:03):
Good morning, Good morning, God bless you. Welcome back to
the Morning Devo. Is your brother Sam Lopez aka DJ
Sam Rock. If this is your first time listening or
watching the Morning Devo, let me personally welcome you to
the podcast, to the live stream, and to the community
and to the family. Amen. You don't have to be
a born again believer to join us here on the

(00:24):
Morning Devo, but you can be willing to listen and
to see and to know what the Word of God
really says for yourself. When you open up the Word
of God, something happens to your soul, something happens to
your spirit, something happens to your life. Amen, when you
receive the living word of our Lord and Savior Jesus
to Christ. Amen, we're gonna be talking about leading the lost,

(00:49):
Leading the lost. You're a leader, whether or not you
know that or not, you're a leader. You are leading someone,
you're influencing someone, inspiring someone, you are doing something to
someone else else, whether you know it or not. Amen.
So you're leading people. So the question is where are

(01:12):
you leading them to and how are you leading them?
And what are you telling people? And how are you
living while you're leading? Amen? So today it's called leading
the laws. Amen. On the morning Devo, sharing the Gospel
to me and my humble opinion, is the most important,

(01:33):
most loving act of service. Why because it introduces others
to the eternal hope, not just the temporary hope, but
the eternal hope found only in Jesus. It's not about pressure,
it's not about eloquent words. If you know me, you

(01:54):
know I'm not really highly educated. Amen. I'm highly inspired
by the Lord, Amen, but I'm not educated. I'm actually
a high school dropout. I got my ged when I
was twenty or twenty one like that. As soon as
my son's mom says she was pregnant, I knew I
had to do something with my life at that point. Right.
A long story, but it's about love, boldness, and reliance

(02:20):
on the Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, God, we'd be a
Matthew chapter five, verse number sixteen. We're to quote directly
from our lords what he spoke right out of his mouth. Amen,
Matthew Chapter five, verse number sixteen. Today in the morning Devo,
if you have any questions, comments, concerns, prayer requests, or
anything along those lines, don't hesitate to connect with us

(02:42):
through the live chat through the podcast, through the website, Amen,
through live that so wins with a z dot Orgita's
a chat there as well. If you're on my email list, Amen,
you can email in your question, comment, concern, or prayer
requests as well. If you're not on our email list,
simply what are you waiting for? Let's let's get let's

(03:02):
go for it, let's get involved. Amen, let's communicate. Let's connect, Amen,
and stay connected whether or not you believe or not. Amen,
this is an open invitation. We don't do debating here.
But if that's your style of learning, or that's your
style of communicating, and you want to debate, are you

(03:22):
you know, come against so whatever. I know some people
who do that, Amen, so I could steer direct you
towards them. Amen. You're just gonna get a lot of
love here. You're gonna get a lot of listening here. Amen.
And I respect everybody's views, but in love, you don't
have to how you call it, accept everyone, accept everyone's

(03:47):
position right out of love because love has truth involved.
There's absolute truth when it's absolute love. There's absolute truth.
When it's absolute truth, there's absolute life. If there's absolute life,
there's absolute path to righteousness. Amen. So over here we
just look at the scriptures. We look at the scriptures,
and we let the scriptures speak for itself because the

(04:09):
Word of God is alive and active. I don't want
to go down that road. But just in case you
were like, well, I'm gonna tell sam Off, well, you
could get ahead and do that. I probably won't respond
on this platform like any which way. Amen, But other
than love and grace and mercy, because that's what I received,
because I was that person that was always pointing fingers

(04:30):
at Christianity or pointing fingers at the Christian pointing fingers
at the preacher before I was saved hours not the
same man that I am now, amen, if you get
what I mean. So leading the loss and I was
leading or write the laws to the loss. Now I'm
hoping and praying that I might be doing a little

(04:50):
better and leading the laws to a connection with our Savior.
So we're gonna pray. First. After we pray, we shut
us out for like sixty seconds, and then on the
other side of those six the seconds, we'll get right
into leading the lost right here on the morning DEVO.
And the scripture is Matthew five, verse number sixteen. Father,
I thank you for today the time. I thank you,

(05:12):
Love God, for what you're doing, what you continue to
do in our lives. Thank you, Lord God, that we
don't have to put a lot of effort or a
lot of pressure on ourselves to be who we are
in you, because you've gifted us talents, gifts, you gifted
us eternal life, you gifted us faith. Thank you, Love
God for all of it. I pray like I never

(05:35):
prayed before. I prayed like a child coming to my father,
because you are my father in heaven. And I thank you,
Love God for the hedge of protection that you surround
us with your arkwen angels, ministering angels, warrying angels, all
to annihilate the tactics and practices and spells and curses
of the enemy in the dark places. Thank you, Lord God,

(05:56):
that we are alive today and that we could be
active in our faith, and we could put our faith
in action, and that we could do access service according
to your will and your perfect purpose for our lives.
So I speak life, I speak peace over every single
person that's listening and watching. I speak a hedge of
protection over every single person that's listening and watching over myself,
my wife, our family, our children, our grandchildren, and every

(06:19):
single family member from the youngest to the oldest, and
every single person in between. I pray that same prayer
every day for those on the other side of the
screen and on the other side of this mic, because man,
the world is going into chaos. But we know that
we have a Christ coming to the church and man
to take us out of here. But in the meantime

(06:40):
we will lead the loss to a saving Savior, to
a loving God, to a holy God, to a righteous God,
as long as we hear as a beacon of hope
filled with holy spirit. So I pray it's by faith,
knowing that you hear these prayers and your answer them
according to every individual situation, every individual life, and the
powerful name of g is. I pray this by faith,

(07:01):
and those who agree with say Amen to the Amen.
Help me shut this out sixty seconds. When we come back,
we'll get right into today's morning, Devol. I'll be right back.

(08:36):
Thank you so much, Thank you so much for sharing. Amen.
And I don't know what's going on with my cam today.
I guess I switched the position on my cam, so
let me quickly do this Everybody who knows me know
that I do. I hate to have things in the
background that's not supposed to be showing. Amen, So let
me do this. Give me one second. Let me go

(08:58):
back to tie to screen, Amen, so I could adjustice
cam that just bothers me that it's off center and
all that stuff. I'll be right back. But it's worse. Amen.

(09:26):
Let me see. It's worse. You can see all my
mics and background and all that stuff. So let me
do this. I don't know which way I'm going here.
There you go, and wow, it's gonna be one of
those mornings ladies and gentlemen when we're here. We are here, amen,
So let's get into the word before I get all

(09:47):
crazy and start justin cams and everything. You're like, okay, Sam,
you're old dean, right. It's the morning for me, so
it's early. So I'm trying my best to give you
the best visual and listening experience because I know how
important it is for us to get this clear, the
word everything to be and that's my effort today to do.

(10:10):
And what happens when you're live you're supposed to be, ready, Sam,
what the heck is going on with you men. So
I'm hard on myself with these things. So let's go
leading the lost, leading the loss today in the morning, Devo,
I hope you're ready for this. Amen, We're gonna hear
from our Lord's lips his mouth. But he said out

(10:34):
of his mouth, with a direct quote from our Lord
Jesus Matthew, chapter five, verse number sixteen, the Lord says,
let your light shine before men in such a way
that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence,
and recognize and honor and glorify your father, who is

(10:56):
in heaven. So when you lead, go ahead and let
your light shine. And this to me, to brother Sam,
I have to be careful with letting my light shine,
because before, when I was in the world right, I
knew how to shine. And the shining light that you
saw coming from me was full of arrogance, pride, selfishness, anger,

(11:22):
what else party life, And I was letting that light shine.
It's like a strange light. It's a light that was
on the broadway leading people to destruction, including myself involved.
So I'm careful when I have this light, the blazing
light of Christ shining. Amen. It's not for me to
boast it's for me to shine before man in such

(11:45):
a way that they see my good deeds and more excellence,
because I'm trying to glorify my Father who is in heaven.
See the difference now. And the Lord knows that he
knows your heart, he knows my heart, and he continues
to love us in this way, in a loving way,

(12:08):
in a way that when we shine our light, Amen,
we will glorify the Father and people will know. Looking
and they're observing, they say, wait a minute, that's that's
that's Sam. There's nothing really special abottom. But why is
he acting that way? Why is he so connected to
this God he's always talking about. Why is he so

(12:29):
confident in this holy Bible that he calls holy that
he calls the truth? Because it's my posture, Amen, the
blazing light of Christ is shining. I can't hide the light.
And if you're born again, believe a child of God,
you can't hide delight either. I would like to sometimes
go outside and not be recognized for the glow of

(12:52):
the Lord in me. Amen. I would like to sometimes
like hide. You know, my flesh is saying, just go
go ahead and hide has to see you. Amen. But
that's ladies and gentlemen, impossible. Once God came into our
hearts and minds and transformed us and renewed us and
restored us. Now that we have the minor Christs in
the heart of God, we're filled with compassion, we'll fill

(13:15):
with love, we'll fill with grace. We're full of mercy,
we're full of truth. Amen, and all the other stuff.
So us disappearing, fading away, and people's like, say, man,
when I share my testimony to people who don't know me,
who didn't know me twenty something years ago, they would
be like looking at me, like you were, like, what,
we don't see that on you. It's like nothing, no

(13:37):
trace of that. And that's all glory to who me,
no glory to my father who was in heaven. They
saw the light of God shining Amen. And that's what
makes things dis exciting to me. When you share the
gospel with somebody, it's exciting to see their response. It's
a little nerve wracking because you might be like, oh,
they gotta argue, they gotta reject, they're not gonna respond,

(14:00):
they're gonna just you know, dismiss you. But you'd be surprised. Man,
you share the gospel and the way the Lord wants
us to share the gospel, the way God instructs us
to share the gospel. You'll be surprised with people's response. Right,
and listen, we have an enemy. He's defeated, but he's
still our enemy. And I believe that he shoots like

(14:22):
one hundred arrows to see who is gonna hit those
those fiery arrows. Who doesn't have their full arm of God,
of God are, who doesn't have the preparation, who doesn't
have the Gospel in the heart, who doesn't have Jesus
set apart in their heart to do the works of
the ministry. So he just shoots randomly. But we're not random.

(14:44):
We're not We don't shoot randomly. We should be intentional
of who we're speaking to, of what we're gonna say,
what we're gonna do, especially in front of people who
are already having us in their box. Whoever have already
have us in their fishbowl. Once we said we're Christians, Amen,
they don't want to know how we respond. So it

(15:08):
matters sharing and leading. The loss to the Lord matters.
It's called sharing the gospel. People are lost without Christ. Right,
and even though I know that I can't be walking
up to people and pointing to them, you better turn
to God or else you go into hell. That's true, right,
it's true for me, it's true for them. But if
they're not connected any which way, that's gonna sound like

(15:32):
an insult. That's gonna sound like a judgment call. That's
gonna sound very unloving to a person who is struggling,
maybe that walk their faith, Maybe they're addicted to drugs.
Maybe they're just getting out of jail, or they're going
to jail. Maybe they're in a relationship that was abusive.
You don't know the situation of the other person, especially
if it's a stranger. So how much more should we

(15:54):
be approaching people with love? For those that we actually
know personally without Christ facing spiritual death Romans six twenty three.
For the wages of sin is what death, But the
gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

(16:14):
So when you share, when you're leading somebody, when you're
leading the loss, and you know their loss because they're
without Christ. You know their loss because they don't have
spirit of God in them, Holy Spirit. You know their
loss because they're in the world and they're active in
the world, smoking, drinking, party life, whatever the situation is.
I don't think we have to point those things out right.
And as a matter of fact, if you do point

(16:35):
those things out, make sure that you're not part of
those systems, that you're not part of that sin, and
that you're not enticed to do the same things as well.
A man post people would love right, speak the word
before you speak your word. Amen, since the Joanne, I
see you, Good morning, God bless you. Welcome back to
the morning deve with my sister and my friend. It's
good to see you. So sharing the gospel is the

(16:58):
ultimate act of passion. Think about it. When you share
the gospel in love inspired by Holy Spirit, recognizing that
I was once in the position of the person I'm
speaking with, you could have compassion. Why because it addresses
not just the temporary need, but the eternal destiny of

(17:19):
a person's soul, of a person's life. You're not talking
to a person who has problems. You're not talking to
a problem. You're talking to a person who has a problem.
You're not talking to a sinner. You're talking to a
person who sins. You're not talking to someone who wants
a debate. You're talking to a person who has questions. Amen.
You're not just looking at just an ordinary you know whatever.

(17:41):
You're looking at a person who's created and the image
of God. Respect that, and people will have more respect
for you if you respect one another. Amen, the conversation
would go more smoother. Were commission I don't need permission.
You don't need permission to go ahead and preach the gospel.
You don't need credential to go ahead and preach the
gospel of someone. You don't have to be apostle, you

(18:03):
don't have to be a prophet, you don't have to
be an evangelist, you don't have to be a pastor teacher. No,
you are commissioned. Once you're born again. Welcome to the
army of God. Once you're born again, you are commissioned
to do what You're commissioned to go to every single
person and make disciples. But before you can make a disciple,

(18:25):
people have to turn to the Lord and be saved
and then want the discipleship. So this isn't only for pastors,
it's not only for missionaries. It's for all Christians. You
hear that all Christians. Now, When I first got saved,
my example, I was a zealous zealot going out there
and telling everybody what I learned to be true. I

(18:46):
went to our family first. I went to friends and family.
I used to go to nightclubs in the middle of
the night with a clipboard take down prayer requests because
the bouncers knew me, and they were like, what happened
to you? I said nothing, I just want to go
over the clipboard take prayer requests and I'll leave. I'm
not staying. And the looks were so funny. They look
at me like, you gotta do what and do now?

(19:09):
I was like, yeah, because I didn't want to leave
the same people stuck in the darkness that I just
got out of. I didn't want to leave them there.
How selfish would be, but it have been. That's what
I was thinking at the time. I need them to
know what I know, so that way some of them
could come with us and be in the Kingdom of
God and Man. And in my zealousness, if that's a word,

(19:32):
and in my ignorance because I went used to go
with myself. Should go with two when you go to
those environments, at least two God still he said, Okay,
you're just learning, so I'll protect you. You could go
in come out safely, Amen, and pray really pray for
those prayer requests. And Man, those prayer requests, I should
you know, I don't have permission to share them, obviously

(19:54):
with the names and everything, but I should write some
kind of book or e book about people who need
Jesus and they're stuck in that life. Amen. It's amazing
those prayer requests. One of the most honest, touching, heartfelt
prayer requests I've ever heard in my life. When I
used to go in those night clubs with a clipboard, Amen,

(20:14):
and I'm taking prayer requests and listening to people pray
for people on the spot and shock of their stories
of how they were. Some pastors in there, some pastors, kids,
some people who used to be ministry missionaries, evangelists, and
a lot of them say I'm stuck in this life.
I don't know how to get back to the Kingdom.
It was amazing conversations. Man, it was mentioning friand Keeliah.

(20:37):
God bless you. Good morning, my sister, my friends. Good
to see the morning devote Amen, Sister Joyce, I see you,
good morning, God bless you. Bless you and the group.
Thank you for the blessings to the group as well.
My system, my friend, is good to see you. So
Jesus said, go go like we have the green light.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them,

(21:02):
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.
So we're leading the loss by way of what we
know to be true. But that truth has to have compassion,
has to have love. No one is going to care
about what we know until they know that we care. Right,
we know that like, you can't be just you better

(21:24):
do this, and you better listen. I don't know about you,
but I don't like to be told what to do.
I think that's one of the reasons why it was
hard for me to buy my knee to the Loving, Holy,
Righteous God of Heaven and Earth. Because I didn't want
to buy my knee. I was full of pride and
envy and and I didn't trust nothing and no one,
and I didn't believe in God at the time. Right,

(21:47):
I think it's because I didn't want to be told.
I'll say, oh, if I become a Christian, I'm gonna
have to be told what to do. And I thought
I had to dress a certain way, I had to
talk a certain way. I had to give up everything
that I enjoyed doing. I had to give up my DJing,
my dancing, my music and all that stuff. I have
all that prejudgment on God and his kingdom. And man,

(22:11):
I was wrong, Thank you Jesus, I was wrong. I
have the same personality, just that I have a clear conscience.
I always tell people, Hey, it's the same Sam born
in the same place and lived the same in the
same area of New York. But I'm a different man. Right.
God changes you, He transforms you, he renews you, he

(22:32):
restores you, he delivers you. I want to start preaching, man,
But God is that good. So this is called evangelism,
and it's not optional. Right, it's obedience to Christ. We
are all evangelists. If you think about it. If you're
going to go and tell somebody about your story, tell
somebody about the Gospel of God, tell somebody about the

(22:52):
goodness of God, tell somebody how Jesus changed your life,
that's evangelism. Amen. And you don't have to know one
hundred scriptures. If you know your testimony, you know where
God met you. Amen. Sometimes that could be used and
people will be so amazed of what God can do
in another life, they're gonna want in on it and
they'll be like, well, if God can do that for you,

(23:14):
why couldn't he do that for me? That's a good question.
And the answer is he can change your life. He
can transform your life if you go to him. So
there's ways of sharing the gospel a man of Obviously
I don't have time to do that today, but his
ways that you could share clearly the Gospel and your

(23:34):
daily life without happening to go to a course. And
I always suggest you know, learning scriptures, learning methods, right,
just don't get into systems that it has to be
one way to share the gospel. But it's good to
know different ways to do it. So that way, if
you're being approached by an intellectual person, you might have

(23:55):
a method of how to deal with that. If you're
approaching an addictive person, you might have a method to
do that. You know what I mean, Like, it's good
to know things like that, but don't get into any
system that, oh, this is the only way I could
do it. Amen. God is bigger than that. God is
more creative than just one way Amen, Peter Zimba, good morning,

(24:16):
God bless you, longtime brother, God bless you. Welcome back
to the morning. Devo, my brother, my friend. Amen, So listen.
How to share the Gospel in daily life is as
simple as this through words, and I know you knew that.
Clearly explain the message that Jesus died for our sins

(24:36):
rose again. Just don't say Jesus died for your sins.
Make sure you realize and help people realize that He
rose again and now offers forgiveness to all who believe,
not just a certain demographic of people, for all who believes.
First Corinthians fifteen three and four. You share the gospel

(24:57):
through words through actions. We've been talking about actions serving
people right, acts of service, acts of kindness, through actions.
Live in such a way. And this is what Jesus
said that people see Christ in you. Don't be afraid.
It's not people say all being follow Christ is hard.

(25:18):
I don't. That's not scripture. Jesus said, my yoke is light,
my burden, my burden is light, My yoke is easy. Right,
So that means follow Jesus just like he wants us to,
and he'll lead you as you're leading the loss to him,
no pressure. Live in such a way that people see
Christ in you. Right. That means Christ in me is

(25:41):
full of integrity. Christ in me has kindness, christ in
me is holy, christ in me is sanctified. Christ in
me is on our way to a perfect place called Heaven.
Through relationship, build genuine friendships. You know these surface friendship things.

(26:03):
You know, Okay, but let's dig deeper and become a
real friend to people who need friends genuine friendships. Listen
well and earn the right to be heard. I just
don't start talking without the right to be heard, or
else people won't respect what you're saying. Amen. And it's
about integrity, respect, respect one another. Amen. As God Jesus

(26:27):
if he was witnessing to a person right now who
will always show compassion and respect. So I'm out of time.
I hope you get in what we're saying here. Matthew
chapter five, verse sixteen. That's where we were. Take a
time out of your day. Read the whole chapter of
Matthew chapter five to get the full context of what
Jesus was saying in that chapter. Amen, thank you so

(26:47):
much for hanging out with me. I'm so happy that
you came through, and share this out to other people
that you know in your heart that could use and
some inspirations, some word amen, and they could hear a
direct quote from the Lord Jesus as we read earlier.
So I'm out of time, but thank you so much
for coming through. God bless you all. God keep you all,

(27:08):
and remember always that God is good. Peace
