Speaker 1 (00:03):
Morning, family, Good morning, God bless you. Welcome back to
Morning Devo. Is your bro Sam Lopez aka DJ Sam
Rock so wins with his z dot org live that
so winners with his z dot org streaming on social
media platforms that allow the stream to go through and
also streaming on x formally known as Twitter. If that
matters to you, amen, if you're on that platform where
(00:24):
they stream alive. So welcome back to the Morning Devo,
My friends and family, and everybody who's interested or who
is ready to listen to the word of God to
vote sometime first part of that day, last part of
that day, any part of the day. Amen. When you
put Christ and set Christ aside in your life for
a purpose and plan, he will have you loving and serving. Amen.
(00:50):
So today I decided to get into love and service.
Love and service today in the morning Devo. Let me
just get to my intro notes here. One of the
clearest signs of being saved, born again is the overflow
of love into service. Right, So you're gonna love to
(01:12):
serve others. Right, You're gonna love because God loves us.
First man, and real quick. If you have weird images
on the radio, my apologies they're working on the tech
teams working on when I put titles up, you'll get
(01:32):
weird images that have nothing to do with the titles.
So they're working on that. So my apologies. I hope
you're not offended by the image that shows up right now. Also,
Jesus transforms the heart from selfishness to selflessness, from pride
to humility, and from bitterness to compassion one John three fourteen. Yeah,
(01:58):
so God does transforming. Amen. So if you ever see
me just out there, just viewing out all kind of
truth without love, Amen, You're gonna hear a noise coming
from me. It's gonna be so noisy that you're not
going to know what I'm talking about. You're not gonna
understand what I'm saying because you're not going to see
(02:20):
the transformative power of the Lord by way of his
Holy Spirit. You're not going to see me loving enough
to serve somebody else. You're not going to see the
overflow of love in my life. You're not going to
see humility. You're gonna see pride. You're not going to
see compassion. You're gonna see bitterness. Right, You're not going
(02:41):
to see selflessness. You're gonna see selfishness. So we love
and serve, so love and service today in the morning, Devo.
If you have any questions, comments, concerns, pray requests, or
anything along those lines. Live chat is open, and by
the way, you could make comments on the live chat
(03:02):
when it's live or when it's not live, and we'll
see your comments and I'll check them and get back
to you as soon as possible if you're watching from
the website, So when is with a Zeta org amn,
that should be a way to connect with us there
as well. If all else fails you can't figure it out,
you could go to the contact page afterwards and we
could get together via that way as well. So good morning,
(03:26):
let's go for it. We're gonna pray first. After we pray,
we share this out for like sixty seconds, and then
on the other side of those sixty we'll get back
into the morning Devo. First John chapter number three, very
slimb of fourteen is going to be our starting point today.
Are you ready, Father, in the name of Jesus peace.
I pray peace over my life, over my wife's life.
(03:47):
I pray protection. I pretay I hand your protection. That's
what I pray over myself, my wife, our children, our grandchildren,
our family members from the youngest to the oldest, and
every single person in between. I pray that over every
single person listening and watching right now, I pray, Lord God,
by way of your holy Spirit, that you will move
(04:07):
us to love and service, that you would show us
what it means to be compassionate, show us what it
means to be selfless, show us what it means to
be humble, Lord God, so we could respond to every
single person that we engage in conversation with in a
loving way, in a christ like way, in a born
again way, in a way that we can serve with integrity.
(04:29):
We could serve not only knowing things, but applying what
we know and using wisdom and using every fruit of
the spirit that you have allowed us to have. We
have it all, and we want to share it all
in Jesus' holy name. So I speak life concerning all
things living. I come against anything that tries to bring
death or distraction to our lives. In a powerful name
(04:51):
of Jesus. I set and dispatch arq Ween angels to
destroy and annihilate the tactics of the enemy over your
life and over my life. In a powerful name, Jesus,
I praise by faith and all those who agree we
say amen to the Amen. Amen. So I got amen
from Beatrice Coleman. God, bless you. Welcome to the morning devo,
(05:12):
my friends. So let's go for it. Help me share
this out sixty seconds and then on the other side
of the sixty seconds, we'll get right into today's morning devo. Love,
love and service. I'll be right back you men, We're back.
(06:52):
We're back. So love and service man, this is this
is amazing. How God could just do this in our
hearts and our minds. Amen. We don't have to really,
How should I say force the issue of love? Right?
We're loving because God loved us first, and he gave
(07:14):
us the perfect example of how we should respond to people,
how we should listen to people, how we should be concerned,
how we should be a peacemaker. Amen. The Bible says
Jesus said, blessed are the peacemakers. So the opposite applies. Right,
You're not blessed if you're not a peacemaker. So we
have what we need to love and serve others with
(07:36):
the way that God wants us to show this type
of love. Amen. Thank you Holy Bible group. Thank you,
I love you, Lord Jesus Christ Group. Thank you Spiritual
War and Deliverance. Amen for helping me share this out
on your groups. Just shouting y'all out as I see
them come across the screen. So let me get this
on to the screen. Amen. If you're watching and men
(07:58):
wearing this together. If you're listening only, amen, you're driving,
working out, walking, jogging. Amen. Welcome. Thank you for allowing
me to speak into your ears. Amen, and so you
can get the visual. We're going to read this word
for word, even though I know you're not watching, but
I'm going to read what we're seeing on the screen
word for word, so that way we don't miss a
(08:19):
beat and we're on the same page, in the same
area of the scriptures. Amen. So let me get this
up and there we go. Love and service, Love and service. Amen,
here we go. First John, chapter three, verse number fourteen,
Bible says, we know that we have passed out of
(08:40):
death into life. Amen. If anybody tells you how do
you know, you just say I know, Because the Bible
says that we know. They can start there. We know
that we have passed out of death into life. Why
because we love the brothers and sisters. He who does
(09:03):
not love remains in spiritual death. Amen. So I don't
know how much clearer this could be. Of course, it
won't sound clear enough for those who do not have
the Spirit of God in you. Amen. That's why I
rely on Holy Spirit every time I read the scriptures
to give me the revelation. Amen. And I know that
(09:26):
there's people listening that don't have the spirit of God,
that are not saying that I'm not born again, that
might not even believe. But God is drawing you close
to what he's saying right here, and somehow, some way,
God will have you with a measure of understanding. But
ultimately He wants to draw you to save you, rescue you, Amen,
(09:49):
redeem you, restore you, and give you the born again
experienced by way of His Holy Spirit. So that way,
when you read this next time, fill with the Holy Spirit,
you're gonna know that you passed out of death into life,
from death to life. Amen. Being born again means you
are only going to die once, and then once we've
(10:13):
passed from this side of eternity to the next, we're
going to be with our eternal Savior forever more. He
who does not love remains in spiritual death. So the
question today that you can ask yourself is a personal question.
Am I loving and serving in Christ? Or am I
(10:36):
doing my own thing for my own benefit? Amen? And
I'm spiritually dead. I know it's a big, huge question
to ask so early in the morning or from whenever
you're watching or listening. Amen, But it's a legitimate question
to ask yourself. You don't have to go on social
media and blast your ideas out there to get people
(10:56):
to argue, or to get people to disagree, or to
get people confused. Just ask the Lord yourself personally. Amen.
Are you ready to love and serve others? Or are
you just forcing the issue? A man's sister, Joanne, Good morning,
God bless you. Welcome back to the morning Devo. My
sister and my friend. So that's where we're at today. First, John, Amen,
(11:22):
and let me get to my notes. So, a life
that loves is a life that serves, right, that's a
good way to think of it. If you're loving, that
means you're not selfish, you're selfless a man. If you're loving,
that means you're not full of pride, but you're full
of humility. You're humble. Right. If you're loving, you're coming
(11:45):
out of death and into life. If you're loving, you're
not walking in darkness, you're walking in light. Right. If
you're loving in Christ now, if you're loving any other way,
the way this world fixes it all up to look like. Amen,
we know that it's not a real type of love.
The world system is promoting a love of Actually, it's
(12:06):
hatred is actually a false idea of love. It's actually
a selfish love, a prideful love. Amen. So we don't
respond to that type of love as brothers and sisters
in Christ, as children of God, as a world prethid.
We respond in the kingdom manner, in the Kingdom way, Amen.
And that's supposed to draw people to the Lord. Not
(12:28):
draw people to me, but draw people to the Lord,
but way of his Holy Spirit that lives inside of
each of every one of his children. Since the joyous
I see you, Good morning, God, bless you to you
as well. Amen, And thank you for the blessings over
the group. We could use those blessings. Amen. We're in
this together. Thank you for coming through my sister, my friend.
So we know that we're supposed to love. It's not
(12:54):
only just for the believer. Love is not optional for
the believer. But love is not only for the believer.
In other words, God is love, and God sent himself
in the form of a man, Jesus to Christ to
die fault once for all whosoever calls upon his name
to be saved. Love is the evidence of a changed life. Amen.
(13:17):
If you see somebody that's going around saying that they're
born again, that they're christ like that, that that, and
they're walking around with pride, and they're not humble, they
might have been hurt and they're trying to hurt others. Amen,
just start praying, because that's not the idea that God
(13:39):
through his word. That's not his idea. That's our idea.
And sometimes a lot of times we're dealing not with people.
We're not warring against flesh and blood. We're warring against
principalities and high places. Amen. And also, when you hone
it down, we're actually at war with our own selfish,
(14:00):
evil desires called the flesh. So we're not loving and serving,
then what are we doing. We're into selfishness, we're into pride, right,
and we're still in darkness. And the Bible even goes
as far as to say that you're spiritually dead if
you're not actively in the Word, if not activating the word,
(14:22):
if not living according to the standards of the Gospel
message of the Lord Jesus Christ. So love as evidence
of salvation. Love is not optional for the believer. It's
the evidence of a changed life. And we read that
in First John, chapter three and fourteen. We know what
we know. We know we've passed from death to life
because we love each other. True salvation replaces hate. And
(14:46):
we spoke about that a couple of weeks ago, how
to do a spiritual exchange where exchanging darkness for light,
We're exchanging oppression for joy. We're exchanging selfishness with selflessness.
(15:07):
We're changing being prideful to being humble. Amen. True salvation
replaces hate. True salvation replaces envy and division with the
love that reflects the heart of God. So we're gonna
not divide. We're going to take that devisive spirit, cast
(15:29):
it out in the powerful name of Jesus, Amen, And
we're going to love the way that God loves. And
we're going to reflect the heart of God through how
we speak, how we respond, how we listen, Amen, and
how we preach, teach, evangelize, Amen. So that way people
will know once they see that we have love for
(15:49):
one another and that we love and we love to
serve others. Amen, And they gonn't want to know who
our God is anything else outside of that. They're gonna
be like, what is the what are these people doing? Amen?
If they see a brother or sister in Christ bickering
about things that really don't matter, people are gonna get
turned off and they're gonna be like, that's why. You know,
(16:11):
everybody already has a ready opinion of why they don't
want to go to church, why they don't want to
follow Jesus, why they don't want to be a Christian.
So we're not supposed to be feeling that. We're supposed
to be de escalating drama. We're supposed to be not
adding fuel to the fire of hatred. But we're supposed
to be loving people and serving people. Amen. To get
(16:34):
that white holy fire of the Lord, and they gonna
want to know who Jesus is. By the way we
serve one another, serving out of gratitude is key. I'm
not obligated to serve. I'm serving because I'm graceful for
what God has done in my life, and I have
this attitude of gratitude. Service isn't a way to earn
(16:57):
God's favor. So, by no way myself saying that you
have to do all these works to gain favor with God, Amen,
because that'll be heresy. We're saved by faith and Christ alone. Amen.
It's a gift of God. Nothing that we could do
faith with our works is dead. I know we have
to put our faith in action. But if we're just
(17:19):
doing works to say and tell people, listen, I'm doing
all of these things for God, so that's why I
have good standing with Him, then we're speaking and teaching
another gospel. Franciella God, bless you, good morning, good morning.
Thank you for coming to the morning. Devo. Have a
blessed morning to you as well. Amen. Francilia says, we
(17:42):
do it because we're thankful. Yes, we do it because
we're thankful. And that's a great way to do things
right when you'll see smiles on people's faces when we
serve someone else, because we know we have been served,
we know we have been given another chance, we know
we're born again, we know we're saved, we know we're loved. Amen.
(18:04):
And we know where we're going, and we know what
we're doing. Amen. Now we have a clear mind, the
mind of Christ of I seceee. We have ears to listen,
and we have a powerful mouthpiece to speak the word
of God over people's life. Amen. The Bible says and
second corintheis five fourteen. For Christ's loves compels us. For
Christ's love compels us. So the more you understand how
(18:28):
much you've been forgiven, the more eager you become to
serve others. Right, if it wasn't for the grace of God,
where would we be. That's not a cliche, that's not
just the saying. It's so true in my life at least,
where would I be if it wasn't for the grace
of God? Right? If I had an issue with God? Amen,
(18:52):
He's strong enough, big enough to take the issue that
I have with him. But I'm gonna go to him.
I'm gonna go to his word. And it's not going
to be that God is an ever. It's going to
be that I'm an error. It's not going to be
that God doesn't understand. It's gonna be because I don't
understand and I'm trying to get understanding, get wisdom, Amen.
Day by day we're going from glory to glory. The
(19:15):
steps of the righteous are ordered, not disordered. We're not
out there being good one day, being bad the other day,
being quiet, one day shining the next day. We're not
on a spiritual roller coaster. We're on a narrow path,
a straight path. Will there be turbulence, absolutely, Jesus promised
that there's going to be trials and tribulation in this world.
(19:38):
And he didn't stop there. He said, but be of good,
what cheer because He's overcome this world system already. So
we're benefiting off the finished work of Christ, and we're
applying right the applied work. What we're doing right now
is being worked through He's working through you. He's working
through me with the powerful message of love, grace, mercy, healing, victory, Amen,
(20:03):
the power of prayer. Unity. We're in this together. We're
not divided like the United States is divided. We're united
in Christ. A man. We're the Kingdom of God, not
the kingdom of this world. We have the power of light,
not the power of darkness. A man. We have truth,
we don't have lies. We have the Holy Spirit, which
(20:24):
is a hope of glory to this world. We don't
have the spirit of the Antichrist, we don't have the
spirit of our flesh. No, we're moving accordingly, and we're
moving in love and in service. We'll be getting it.
Love and service. Jesus commands us to love even the
(20:47):
unlovable neighbor, strangers, and even enemies. This is a message
that the world does not understand. So there's a trend
going on right that if you give me a certain energy,
I'm gonna mess that energy. That's totally unbiblical and it's
not from the spirit of God. So if you come
(21:09):
to me cursing me out, I'm gonna match your energy
and curse you bout. If you come to me swinging,
I'm a match your energy swing back. Yeah. That's how
we was before Christ. That's how we were in the world.
That's when we were driven by the flesh. That's when
we were controlled by the anti spirit of God. That's
when we were controlled by the devil. But once you're
(21:29):
born again, you're set free from those ways of living.
It might take some time amen for us to break
free to understand that we're completely free from that, but
we are, and we move accordingly. From that point on,
we know that the spirit of God is in us, Amen,
and loving people is going sometimes beyond our comfort zones.
(21:55):
We're commanded to love even the unlovable. It's great and
someone agrees with you all the time, Amen, which is rare.
And it's great to have a community of Christians and
believers hanging out. It's great to have a powerful church
to fellowship at. Well. What happens when you step out
(22:16):
of those situations and you come across somebody that's in trauma,
somebody that's hurt, somebody that's addicted, somebody who doesn't know
what you love is, somebody who needs help, somebody who
is being abused, somebody who's hurting others because they hurt themselves.
They could be unlovable sometimes I could. I know I
(22:37):
was unlovable before Christ. Hopefully now I'm lovable Amen to
a lot more people. But before Christ, I was unlovable
and people I had a lot of people fooled. To
this very day, people always say you were always a
good dude, Sam, and I was like, man, you don't
know to have I just knew how to hide my stuff.
I was a professional sinner, so you didn't know I
(22:58):
was sinning. I didn't even know I was sinning before
where I got saved and born again. I thought I
was doing the right thing according to how I saw
things working out in my life. But I was wrong.
Love your enemies, Jesus says, do good to those who
hate you, Do good to those who hate you. That's
(23:22):
not the way the world teaches. The world teaches of
If you hate me, I'm gonna hate you. Right. If
you hurt me, I'm gonna hurt you. That's why I
watched certain ministries on the internet, and they go to
these parades, and they go to these get togethers, and
they go to communities that they already know that what
(23:45):
they're preaching, that their message is going to be rejected,
is going to be challenged. They're going to get angry.
Then they go they filming, right, they're putting cameras in
people's faces, and they're doing this, that and a third.
And then when someone disagrees with their viewpoint, with the
Christian viewpoint, they look at the cameras saying, look at this,
we're being persecuted. I don't know, I think you're poking
(24:08):
the bear. And man, I don't know what type of mission.
That is, I'm not called to that man. You know,
God bless those who are called to go and poke
the bear of people who are trapped in sin with
a message that to them sounds like hatred. I understand
why it might sound like hatred to someone who is
(24:31):
in lifestyles or in situations that are going against the
word of God, which they probably don't even know at
that point they're blinded. We've got to read our word.
The world blinds people, the enemy blinds people, the flesh
blinds people, so they might not know what they're doing
in everror. Amen. But I could bet that if you
(24:53):
approach somebody one on one without cameras in love. I
know people want the views, they want the clicks, they
want them moneyitization of their channels, so they have to
go into these areas to get a lot of viewers
to support their ministry or support what they're doing. But
what about the one who sees all things. Don't you
think he will bless you more, advance you more, Amen,
(25:15):
when he sees you doing a one on one and
loving way, in a holy way, in a biblical way,
rather than having cameras all set out there and shouting
people are shouting at you, and you're looking at the camera,
and you're telling your subscribers on YouTube that you're being persecuted.
I don't know. I've been thinking about that a lot.
I do see them, I watch them, Amen, But I'm like, Man,
(25:39):
if that's the mission God called you to, just go
ahead and do it. You know, you might not need
cameras but all the time. But I understand if you're
relying on your social media platforms or your YouTube channel
or things like that to get money. Amen, that might
be the idea behind why you do things. But when
you want to love people and serve people, I don't
(25:59):
think you'll have to be on camera. Listen. The testimonies
will come your way when you help people in a
genuine way. They don't want to testify. Maybe they'll do
videos about you, amen and say, listen, this person helped
me when I was in this situation or dance situation,
and because of that love and service, now I'm a
(26:19):
believer in Christ. That's more beautiful than a million views
on a social media platform in my humble opinion, Amen,
So do what God called you to do. Sometimes you
don't have to be in front of a camera to
do it so loving beyond comfort zones is a radical
loves is a radical love, and that proves the transformation
(26:40):
power of salvation, the transformative, transformative power of the Lord. Jesus,
a man God so loved the world that he gave.
God demonstrated his own love. In this. We have scriptures
all through the Gospels that shows that the way God
loves is different than the way than the way we
(27:00):
as human beings love. When God says, God demonstrated his
own love. And this that he even when we were haters,
even when we hated God, he still died for us.
That right there is powerful. Jesus didn't match our energy.
(27:21):
Remember they were shouting at him, they were mocking him.
They beat him. So if he wanted to match the energy,
he would have annihilated us. But he didn't do that. He
was driven by love and service. Jesus said, I didn't
come to be served. I came to serve and give
my life as in ransom. Amen, I'm out of time.
I hope you getting what I'm getting. A man in
(27:42):
the spirit, God wants us to love and serve. First
John chapter three, verses fourteen. That's where we were read
the whole chapter of First John, chapter three for yourself
to get the context behind the one scripture that we
devoted our time to. Amen. So I'm out of time.
Thank you so much for hanging out with us. Amen,
and hopefully I'll see you next time. So God bless
(28:05):
you all. God keep you all, and remember always that
God is good. Peace.
