Speaker 1 (00:02):
Good morning, good morning, and good morning today. From the
time of this recording, this is the last morning devo
before the new year, the new calendar year. Amen for
the calendar that we follow in the Western Hemisphere, to
you know in America, the United States of America, where
(00:22):
I'm broadcasting from the calendar year. This is the last
day of before the new year, the last day of
the old and we're getting closer to the new. So
I decided for this one but his last one. Amen
or glory to God right for his grace and his
mercy to have me here for another day. We're gonna
(00:43):
reflect and release, Reflect and release. God doesn't give you
a new year to repeat old cycles. Think about it,
He gives it to walk differently. Thank you, I love you,
Lord Jesus Christ for sharing this out as well the group.
(01:07):
This is going to be an amazing time. I know
for a lot of people here hasn't been the easiest year.
I literally know people personally who lost loved ones, parents, siblings,
children who got sick this year, who struggled this year financially, relationally, emotionally,
(01:31):
spiritually right, So it was a tough year. But my
encouragement to you for those who had a tough year.
You're still here, okay man. That means that God.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
Has more for you and for me to do in.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
Our lives, as long as we put our faith, hope,
and trust in Him to carry us the rest of
the way, from.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
The beginning to the end.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
He knows our life, he knows our decisions, he knows
our thoughts, he knows our life, he knows our heart,
he knows our intentions.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
So we can trust in.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
The one who, despite of everything that he knows about us,
he still loves us. Trust in him, trust in God.
So reflect and release. We're gonna be a Psalms, Chapter ninety,
verse number twelve. Again, God doesn't give you a new
year to repeat old cycles. It may we have a
new year for us to walk differently. But Maurice, I
(02:36):
see you. Good morning, my brother, my friend. God bless
you and good morning. Praying for blessings for your family
and you in the coming new year, and your family
and you be blessed with one hundredfold of blessings of
good health, prosperity and wealth. Wishing you again a very happy,
happy near to you, my brother and my friend. Miss
(02:56):
you a man, and I pray that God will continued
to really increase your health, increase your faith, increase your
wealth and your abundance in life, and continue to spread
your wisdom and knowledge to whoever you encounter. God bless you,
my brow, my friend, and thank you for.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
The new year.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Gift of your words and encouragement. Thank you, God, bless you,
and thank you for supporting us through the years Amen,
on the ministry and also at a personal level as
a friend. So God bless you, my brow, my friend.
So listen, let's go forward.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
We're gonna pray. First.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
After we pray, we share this out for like sixty seconds,
and then on the other side of the sixty seconds
we'll get into our last morning devo before the new
calendar year hits, reflect and release today in the morning devo.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
Amen. And I kind of like.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
Got a prayer that I kind of like want to
make sure I cover, So it's an outlining prayer. Amen, Father,
I thank you so much that your mercies and your
opportunities are new every single day, starting from today today.
(04:08):
Thank you, Lord God. That is yesterday tomorrow and we
are here. I ask you, Lord God, that you will
help us shape our steps. Your word says the steps
of the righteous are ordered. Thank you, Lo God, for
your order. Guard our hearts, guard our minds, align our lives,
Low God, with what you want to do in our lives. So,
(04:31):
Father God, I pray that you will help us align
our hearts with heaven as we lift up your holy
name today and we follow and trust and obey your commandments,
because we're showing the world that we love you first
and foremost, because you loved us first. I give you
this whole entire year, this year that we had. I
(04:54):
thank you for it, the good times and the bad times,
the ups and the downs, O on top experiences and
the valley experience. I thank you for all, because in
this year, Lo God, you have shown us that you
are still faithful, that you are still good, that you
are still trustworthy.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
So we give you glory and praise. And this coming year.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
We give this coming year to you, Lord God, before
it even begins, in the powerful name of Jesus, I
pray I hedge your protection as we enter in this
new space and this new time over our minds, our bodies, physically,
emotional and spiritually. Thank you, Lord God, for the year
of your protection, the year of your health, your wealth,
(05:35):
your benefits. Thank you, Lord God for guid and guarding
and protecting us. Thank you, Lord God for health to
our body and strength to our bones. Today that we
can see not only in the natural but in the supernatural,
and that we can hear not only in the natural
but in the supernatural, and we could speak not only
in the natural, but in the supernatural as well.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
I give you glory, honor, worship, and praise. Thank you
so much for what you have done and what you
continue to do.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
I pray a blessing over every single person in my family,
including myself, my wife, our children, our grandchildren, our family
members from the very youngest to the very oldest, every
single person in between. Thank you for giving health back
to my mom's body as she had a struggle this
year with a health Thank you Little God for having
(06:19):
her with us still for your blessing over her as well.
And I thank you for every single person that's listening
and watching right now. Bless them and bless their families
as well. And the powerful name of Yashi Wahama Sheik
Jesus to Christ the Messiah, the Mishikh McGee. In Jesus name,
we praise by faith and all those who agree. We
say amen to the amen. Good morning, sister Juanne, Good morning,
God bless you. Welcome to the morning Devo, the last
(06:41):
one right before the new calendar year. God bless you.
Thank you for your faithfulness, and thank you for your friendship.
My sister, my friend, sister Velvet, God bless you. It's
good to see you on the morning Devo. God bless
you as well. Thank you for showing up to the
last morning Devo before the new calendar year. And I'm
grateful for your friendship. Thank you for your support. How
you support my wife is amazing and how you are
(07:04):
a friend to me is amazing as well. God bless you,
my sister, my friend. So let's go for it. Help
me share this out sixty seconds. When we come back,
we'll get right into our morning Devo. I'll be right back.
(08:40):
Thank you, Lord Jesus. So many groups, so a little time,
but praise God. If this was your last sixty seconds,
or last minute or last couple of minutes on the earth,
who would you share the word of encouragement, the word
of God, the word of truth, the Gospel with a
man think about it. That's why I put Urgency on
the timer. So that way we can share and reflect
and release. Today, waned Evil, Jesus.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
I would call no time. He is the only way.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Jesus I would call every time.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
He's the only way. Amen. Thank you for your coming
just to Velvet. So listen, Let's go for it.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Let me get this on the screen for those who
are watching, for those who are listening, no worries, no problems.
We're gonna get this word in your heart and in
your mind and work. Amen, and again, thank you on
the podcast for a great year.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
Podcast followers, podcast listeners, Amen, thank you so much for
your listening.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
Ear.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
I'm really grateful that you are connected with us, and
I pray that you are encouraged and aspire to continue
to subscribe to the podcast and share this podcast with
your friends and.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Family as well. Let's go for it.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Put this on the screen for those who are watching
with us, reflect and release, Amen, and put an image
of a dove reflecting or representing Holy Spirit God who
abides and live in every single one of his children.
Also all those whosoever who call upon the name of
the Lord. Amen, We're saved, We're born again. Psalm chapter ninety,
(10:11):
verse number twelve. The Bible says, so teach us to
number our days that we may cultivate and bring to
you a heart of wisdom. These days are numbered, Our
days are numbered, So we might as well learn how
to number our days that we may cultivate and bring.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
To you a heart of wisdom.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
The days are going, By, ladies and gentlemen, we have
an opportunity to live today for Christ. We have an
opportunity to choose life. We have an opportunity to choose love.
We have an opportunity right now to learn how to
number our days, right so we could bring to you
a heart of wisdom. That's the declaration, that's the hope
(11:04):
of the Psalmist. Amen, right then and there in a scripture,
So we have an opportunity to have God working in
our lives in real time, right now today, as you
and I experience the power of God's word. God's word
is alive. God's word is active, God's word is living.
(11:26):
The Scriptures. I heard it said like this, The Scriptures
is the only book. The Bible is the only book
you can read that every time that you read it,
the author is present. That's amazing.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Amen. And I read a lot, I write a lot,
I read a lot, Amen.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
But the Scriptures is the only one that when I read,
the author is with me present right then and there. Amen.
That's amazing to me. So let's see if I could
get some of these notes in. So we're learning from
the year. I'm learning from the year, Amen, hopefully. Well,
(12:06):
let's think of it like this. You don't have to
think that you're growing. You know that you're growing. You
made it another year. Our plans, my plans. I'll just
say for me, maybe I had greater expectations for myself
for this year. But I know for sure that whatever
my expectations for me were, I know I took it
(12:26):
to the Lord.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (12:29):
And it was my bad if I didn't get what
I was supposed to get this year.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
Not the Lord's fault, my fault. Amen.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
But I'm not gonna hold on to regrets. I'm not
gonna hold on to fairs. I'm not gonna hold on
to things that are holding me down. I'm gonna continue
moving and victory, moving and purpose knowing that God has
something new for me and for you, Amen. And if
we're continue to trust in Him, every day will be
a day of mercy, grace, hope, love, power, authority will
(12:59):
move going forward in a direction on the path that
God has for each and one of us to move
forward in. So isn't it really about counting down a clock.
It's about closing a chapter. Amen, what did God teach
us this year? Think about it? You can ask yourself
what did God teach me?
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Amen?
Speaker 1 (13:21):
You can personalize this. So before the year ends, we're
going to reflect and release. What do I need to release?
What do I need to let go? Or what do
I need to just leave in the past, those things
that you know personally that you and God only know.
Sometimes you haven't told anyone you need to leave that
(13:43):
thing alone? What am I still carrying that God never
asked me to hold on to? That God never asked
you to hold on to think about it. The past
has definitely stretched me. What about you? This past years
stretched me? I'm pretty sure it stretched you.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
Amen. I kind of like certain pressures in life.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
I'm not going to tell you which pressures I like
the most, Amen, But I like certain pressures. It keeps
me humbled, and it keeps me focused on God and
keeps me desperate for God's intervention, for his help. Amen,
Because I know I can do this alone. I know
I can't do this alone. So the past year has
stretched me and you probably right humbled me for sure.
(14:31):
Maybe you two or even you had disappointments, right, Life happens,
Life hits hard, right, disappointments.
Speaker 2 (14:39):
But the good news is that.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
The year did not take you out. If you're listening
or watching right now, that means the year didn't defeat you.
The year did not take you out. So the past
year is the past.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
Glory to God for the time that He has given
us together faithful is the one who we put our
faith in.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
So when Asama says, teach us to number our days,
that we may gain a heart of wisdom, wisdom, the
wisdom of God comes when we learn.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
Not when we live.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
And men, we have a lot of like at least
at my age, I have some life experience. I know
people older than me that have more life experience. But
what we have in common with the younger generation is
that we're all trying to live a life on purpose,
live a life on mission. Amen, So we could learn
from one another. The younger can definitely learn from the older,
(15:38):
and the older can learn from the younger. Like the
Sign of the Times what's going on, what's trending, or
what are they thinking? What the culture is trying to
poison our children, our younger generation with. So we could
come go to the word of God and bring wisdom
to the table. Amen, and we could navigate this thing
together as a team, as a family. So as the year,
(16:01):
the last day of this year from the Times recording
the last day of the old year, release that guilt,
that guilt that you're holding onto that Jesus Christ already
paid for. Release regret that really has no authority over
you if you were a child of God. Released relationships,
(16:22):
habits or mindsets that pulled you away from God, anyone anything,
any relationship, any tie, any soul tie that gets you
separated or makes you drift away from God. X that
out right. What we used to say when I was young,
(16:44):
We used to say, not kill it. We used to
say off that, off him, off her, that means kill it.
Separate yourself from the people that are trying to separate
you from living a godly life.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
It meant and.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
It's yeah, it's something that we are positioned to do.
It's something that we need to do as believers. We're
not supposed to be like tied down to the things
of this world. We're not supposed to be worshiping idols.
We're supposed to be worshiping the God above every God,
the King of Kings and the Lord of lords, a man.
(17:22):
And the beautiful thing about the relationship we have with
the Lord is that we don't have to He doesn't
force anyone to follow him, right.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
He shows up in our lives in.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
A way that I don't know if anybody with the
right mind wouldn't want to follow the God of mercy,
the God of hope, the God of love, the God
of salvation, the God of He is the God that saves,
the God that renews, the God that restores, the God
that gives us this reborn experience, born again experience. Trust
(17:54):
him right. You don't carry yesterday into tomorrow. What happened, Yeah, yesterday,
I tend not to carry to the next day. Seemingly,
a lot of people. I notice a lot of people
don't like me when I meet somebody, when I'm in
certain atmospheres or certain communities, I get these weird remarks
(18:17):
when people approach me. Amen, and it kind of like, Wow,
I didn't know you didn't like me. I didn't do nothing.
I don't really know you, probably know you through social media,
but I think it's because I'm trying to position you
and me to a point of blessing. And when people
(18:37):
don't see that in their own life, they tend not
to like the messenger.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
I'm just a messenger sharing the good news of the Gospel,
sharing the truth of the Word.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
Amen. So I don't take it personal.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
So I'm not going to hold on to yesterday's comments
right and take it into my today. I'm gonna thank
the Lord for the life that he's given me, and
I'm gonna pray for those who don't want the life
that God could give them.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
Think about it.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
When somebody hates on you because you're a follower Christ,
it's to me, it's weird. I don't know why people
get angry at my belief. I don't know why people
get angry of how about who I believe in. I
don't know why people get angry about who I worship.
If they don't want to worship the God that we worship,
they don't have to.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
But why would they get angry.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
And upset because we're worshiping the true, living, holy, Righteous God?
Could it be that we're onto something. And that's why
Jesus said, you know, the world's gonna the world's gonna
hate you because they hated me first. The world's gonna
hate you because they know that you and I are one.
We're one with the Father through Holy Spirit, right through
God himself. I know people don't like me and people
(19:51):
might not like you, hey man, but we're supposed to
show up in love. We're supposed to show up in grace,
which is supposed to show up in mercy. Pray for
one another, right, Pray for them. Pray for your enemies.
And God has a way of having your enemies sit
at your table, and we'll all be at peace with
one another as long as He is in control of
the situation, as long as we give our lives and
(20:13):
give it to the Lord.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
If we hold on to our past.
Speaker 1 (20:15):
And hold on to our hurts, and hold on to
our regrets and hold on to our fears, that means
we're holding on to our past and our old life.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
We're not releasing it.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
So we reflect on what God has done. We have
a Seilah moment. Amen, ponder and see what God has done.
Pause and see what God is doing.
Speaker 2 (20:32):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
If we don't have to say that moment, we're gonna
live where regrets in the past. We're gonna be worried,
We're gonna be full of anxiety, We're gonna be led
by emotion, by the Holy Spirit of God.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
We gonna be manipulated, we're gonna be all of that.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
All the things that the world wants to throw at us,
we're gonna buy into that.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
But God says, no, this new year that's coming up,
we don't have to hold on to the things that
God doesn't want us to hold on to. We don't
have to hold on to the guilt and the shame
that Jesus himself already paid for. We don't have to
hold on to sin that the Lord has already paid for.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
We don't have to.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
Hold on to regrets that has no authority. We don't
have to hold on to relationships' habits, on mindsets that
pull us away from the living, holy, righteous, Loving God.
And Isaiah chapter forty three, verse eighteen. Forget the former things.
Do not dwell on the past. That's what the prophet said,
and that's what I believe. And Man, we don't have
(21:31):
to hold on to the former things. That are not golly,
that are not worth holding on to. A man that
has that really doesn't give us value. We're supposed to
build each other up, not break people down, or break
each other down or beat each other down. We're supposed
to build each other up in the things of God.
Thank God for this year. He's been with you. He
(21:54):
carried you through. He carried me through through the whole year,
every step of the way, from the first day of
the new year all the way to the last day
of the old year. Think about it, So last year
is practically done, the new year is coming. And then
when we get into and start running and walking, running
and walking. So it's the righteous path that God has
(22:16):
us in a man, and we keep on focused on
who our author and perfector is, we will notice that
the days are gonna go by quicker because we're focused
and we're intentional about where we're going, and God will
get us to where he wants us to go a
man according to his will and his purpose. But God
is a loving god. God's a God of grace. So
it seemingly seems like the people who are disregarding, mocking
(22:40):
our God, who are living a ratchet life and calling
it a righteous life. It seemingly seems that they're not
getting you know, corrected, or they're not getting disciplined. But
God is a god of grace. His grace is amazing.
So I just pray that that same type of attitude
or the same type of behavior that I see others
(23:02):
who call themselves Christians are doing, I pray that it
never happens to me, right, because if it wasn't for
the grace of God, I would be that guy. I
would be that person that's acting crazy and calling themselves
a Christian and that's saying that they're a worship leader,
but they're idol worshiping that say that they're just that
and the third in the Kingdom of God, but they're
(23:22):
not even connected to the kingdom. That can happen to
any one of us. So we pray for them, right,
We pray for ourselves, and we trust God, and we
reflect and release what God is doing. So you're not
starting from nothing. You're born again, right, and if you
fell yesterday, you get up. You don't have to start
all over. Can you imagine that every time we sin,
(23:45):
we have to start all over from the beginning, from
the day that we first met Christ. No, we get
up from right where we are. Holy Spirit gives us
the ability the power to get up right where we
are and keep on moving forward. You're not starting from nothing,
you are starting from what experience. You have, some experience
in the kingdom. You have growth in the Kingdom, and
(24:05):
of course you have the amazing grace of God. So
we ask God to help us daily. Amen, Ask God
to protect us daily, Ask God to show us what
he wants us to do.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
Daily. Amen, we have a.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
Relationship with a Father who loves us and who wants
us to go to where he is. He wants us
to go and continue moving forward in victory, helping others,
spreading seeds of eternal life all throughout the next year
that's coming. And if we did that last year, Amen,
will start reaping in the harvest of what we sold
last year in righteousness and in holiness. It is worth it.
(24:42):
It is worth being celibate. It is worth being pure,
It is worth being righteous. It is worth following Jesus.
It is worth being a part of the Body of Christ.
It is worth going to church even when you don't
want to it. It is worth praying even when you don't
want to pray. God is faithful, Amen, and you're going
to see the goodness of God God on the other
side of all those times you don't want to do
(25:03):
XYZ for the kingdom, and all the sacrifices you made,
and all the places where you felt that you shouldn't be,
but you went anyway because you are an assignment Amen,
all of it, all the discomfort, all the inconveniences.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
You did it because you love God first, and you
love people.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
You love yourself, you love your family. You did it
anyway regardless of what people thought of you, and what
regardless of what people think of me, we still king
to mind it. You're going to see the harvests of
that coming to past.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
Sister Velvit says, thank you for sharing your morning devotional.
God bless you and your family for more in twenty
twenty six. Thank you so much. And I pray one
hundred fold blessing and encouragement and inspiration and authority and
power to your life and to your family's life, and
the powerful name of Jesus, and that we will continue
to grow in God and grow in Christ.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
Amen. God is good.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
So I'm running out of time here, Amen, because the
radio in a couple of minutes from now starts playing
another program.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
Amen. I'm gonna sign off, but let me leave you
with this Amen.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
This year, walk with clearer priorities this year, Pray with
deeper trust this year. Obey faster this year, compromise less.
Speaker 2 (26:18):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (26:19):
Don't ask God for a better year. You can if
you want, But I'm not gonna ask God for a
better year. I'm gonna ask him for a surrendered one,
a one that God, I surrender my life more and
more to you, and I'm gonna trust in all the
things that happen. I'm gonna trust in you first and foremost.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
Amen. So thank you so much for a year spent together.
If this is your first.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
Time on the Morning Devo, welcome, Hopefully you continue to
be with us starting in the new year.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
So let me send you off for the blessing, the
last blessing before the new year, from the Morning Devo
from your brother Sam Lopez aka DJ Sam Rock. God
bless you all, God keep you all, and remember all
ways that God is good.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
Happy New Year, God bless
