Speaker 1 (00:03):
Win a family. Good morning, God bless you. Welcome back
to the morning. Devo is your bro. Sam Lopez aka
DJ Sam rock So, winners with a z do ororg
live that so winners with a z dot org and
streaming on platforms that allow the stream to go through
on social media, including out of our YouTube page. We're
also back on x formally known as Twitter if that

(00:25):
matters to you, a man on that platform as well.
So we're here, We're back in the studio. It's good
to have you, a man. I'm blessed to be a
part of your routine, your morning day, your start of
the day, the end of the day, the middle of
the day. Amen. Whenever you get a chance, if you're
not live with us right now, whenever you get a
chance to be inspired by the word of God a man,

(00:46):
and to get into what God wants to put in
the Amen. And that's the Word of God. So you
can live a life in abundant, in abundance, a life
of abundance. So today I have a question that true story.
I know a brother in Christ who started to lead
a church a man recently, and the church that he led,

(01:12):
he realized or he found out during a meeting when
he offered him to be the pastor of the church.
During a meeting, the leadership told them to kind of
like not talk about what we're going to talk about today,
the sin word si n sin. They hadn't preached about
it for over a decade in this church. The obvious

(01:34):
question was like, if you haven't preached about sin or
talked about sin during a preaching, what were you preaching?
Then right, it's not the Gospel if it doesn't include
the problem of sin, because the problem of sin was
resolved by the good News of the Lord Jesus Christ,

(01:54):
by the Lord himself. A man, brother Orlando, God bless you,
my bro. Long time, no hear no, Amen, God bless you,
miss you, my bro. Thank you for coming through to
the morning devo. Good morning to you, and God bless you,
my bro, my friend. So the question is what is sin?
That three letter word that a lot of people want

(02:15):
to avoid. They try to avoid, but according to the scriptures,
it's impossible to avoid. It's all up in there. Amen.
And the solution to the sin problem sin itself. What
is it? A man said, We're going to get into
it real quick. I can't take a deep dive because
this is a morning devo, so you get to get
a little bite sized idea about at least what I've learned, Amen,

(02:39):
and the short time that I've been with the Lord
compared to eternity, it's been like a breath that I
have been with the Lord, Amen since two thousand and one.
Sin is not just doing bad things. First and foremost,
while I'm doing bad things, that means I'm sinning. It's
not just doing bad things. It's a rebellion against God's

(03:01):
holiness and authority. Is that serious? You know? People are
like to have this attitude like, oh, I just did
a little dirt, or I just you know, dial a
little bit of this, a little bit of that. God's
looking at it. Well, you're rebellion against me. I'm holy
and God doesn't dwell in sin. So it's a rebellion

(03:21):
against God's holiness and authority. Sin creates a deep divide
that no human effort can cross. In other words, there's
no way that I could fix the issue of sin.
There's no way that you could fix the issue of sin.
So we have to go to the person who fixed
it right, who made a bridge between man and God,

(03:48):
a way out a way of escape a man. He
resolved sin once and for all, and that was the
Lord Jesus Christ. Were gonna be in an old covenant,
old Testament, Isaiah the Prophet, chapter fifty nine, Verse number two,
Isaiah fifty nine and two. We're gonna see how this
old whole thing unfolds, not the whole thing, a man,
a little bit of it. Because sin, if you look

(04:09):
at it, if you look up sin in the scriptures,
you get to see a whole lot of scriptures, a
whole lot of situations. And people who were, I would say,
trapped in it. Amen, they stepped on the glue trap
of sin. Sin to me is like one of those
glue traps that you put out in your kitchen to

(04:30):
try to catch a mouse. Once you step in it,
it's like almost impossible, almost impossible to escape, Amen, without
leaving something behind, without leaving a piece of hair, a finger,
a foot, amen of a mouse behind. So the Bible

(04:50):
is clear that sin is rebellion against a holy God.
Genesis chapter three backste up and confirms that. So if
you have any questions, comments, concerns, prayer requests, or anything
along those lines, please, by no means, don't hesitate to
leave it on a live chat. Don't be afraid, Amen.

(05:12):
There's no debating here, no arguing here. Amen. That's just
sharing here, Amen, a lot of love, a lot of sharing,
a lot of caring, Amen, a lot of prayer, and
a lot of word. If it's not the word that
I'm speaking of, just change the channel. Amen. You don't
want to hear a whole morning devotion of my opinions.
You don't want to hear home morning devotions of what

(05:32):
I think. We want to get into the Word of God.
So that way we could change out with thinking according
to the Word, not according to the world or according
to me, or according to a preacher, evangelist, a prophet,
an apostle, or teacher. Amen. If it's not the word,
then what are we doing. I don't want to waste
your time, and you know I'm not wasting nobody's time.

(05:54):
God doesn't waste that time either. So what is sin?
That's today's topic on the morning devo the question? Amen,
If you want to go ahead and answer that according
to your words, you can get ahead and use a
live chat for that. We're gonna pray first. After we pray,
we'll shut us out for like sixty seconds. Just help
me shut this out. And then when we come back
on the other side of those sixty seconds, we're going

(06:15):
to dive into Isaiah chapter fifty nine and verse number two.
Sister Joanne, I see you. Good morning, God, bless you.
Welcome back to the morning deep with my sister, my friend. Amen.
So let's pray. Father. I thank you that you have
settled the issue of sin once for all when you
died on the cross, because you didn't stay in the grave.

(06:35):
You rose again on the third day, declaring and showing
the whole universe and proving to every single person that
you are above sin, that you are above death, that
you have the keys of life in your hands. I

(06:55):
thank you, Lot God for loving us so much that
you sent your in the form of a man, Jesus,
to live a sinless life right then to die on
a rugged cross, and three days later prove that you
are God by raising yourself from the grave. Thank you,
Lord God for the victorious ways of your word. Thank you,

(07:19):
Lord God for allowing us to observe what you have
done in the past, which is your resume of what
you can do for us right now and in the future.
Thank you for all your promises. Lord, I pray a
hedge of protection over us physically, emotionally and spiritually in
a powerful name of Jesus. I pray that over myself,
my wife, our children, our grandchildren, every single person on

(07:42):
the other side of the screen representing their families as well,
and on the other side of this mic, I pray peace.
I pray Lord God, that you will help us understand
what sin is according to your definition, according to your word,
and you gave us examples all throughout your word. Thank you,
Lord God for your forgiveness of it all. And I

(08:03):
thank you, Lord God that we're positioned for a blessing
today as we dive into your word through your prophet
Isaiah and Jesus Holy Name. I prayer is by faith
and for all those who agree with the prayer, we
say Amen to the Amen, which is the Lord himself.
So help me share this out. Sixty seconds count down.
We'll share this out. When we get back to it,
we'll be in a scripture. I'll be right back. A

(09:51):
lot of groups, not a lot of time, but Amen.
Thank you Jesus for connecting me with groups that allowed
us to go through on their group pages as well.
Thank you for everybody who's Thank you for everybody who
comes to visit the website if you're interested. The apps
for Celebrated Network are live both on iOS, Apple phones
and Android devices. Go ahead to the stores corresponding to

(10:13):
your devices, Amen, and look up sell out radio networks,
sell out radio Network. Amen. And the apps are available
so that way you can have that app on your
phone and you could take this anywhere you want to go. Man. Amen,
So listen, let's get into it. Time is running out here.
What is sin? Is the question that you have to
our people who call themselves Christians and follow Christ. They

(10:35):
don't want to deal with this question because I think
it deals with change. Right. If Jesus told some people
in the scriptures, go and sin no more, that means
what are he's saying? Go and whatever you were doing
that you got forgiven for, don't do it any more,
because now you have the power to not do it anymore.

(10:57):
Jesus clears you from the sin that it cleared you
and me from the sin. That that means we don't
owe sin anything anymore. Amen, or we could live debt
free from sin. Amen. Now I'm not saying because you could.
AI is gonna be a dangerous thing. Man. You could
take this image, my voice, everything and just recreate what

(11:19):
I just said. So be prayed up, ladies and gentlemen.
Truth could be changed in the way of AI, not
truth in its absolute way, just truth on social media,
truth on video, through videos, through audio can be changed,
like what I just said could be changed. So I

(11:41):
just want to put that out there because I've seen
some videos that you look at them, you look at
the people in the videos, even people who are not
even alive anymore, and you're looking and AI is dangerous,
showing things that have never happened, but it's making people
believe that it really did. This question will remain whether

(12:04):
AI is here or not. What is sin? Amen? This
is an ancient question that has today's answer. Amen. If
that makes any sense, Let's go for it. Let me
put this on the screen for those who are watching,
for those who are just listening, no worries, no problem.
I'm going to read this word for word. I try

(12:25):
to put the eerious graphic on the screen. Amen. Being
that we're in the the Halloween season, for those who
are with Halloween celebration and all that stuff, this is
how ugly and my estimation, sin is when you look
at it for what it really is. And if you're

(12:45):
looking at the graphic, Amen, I made sure I made
it ugly. Amen. So this is the graphic I chose.
Sister Joyce, I see you. Good morning, God, bless you,
welcome back to the morning. Devote my system, my friend.
Thank you for your blessed over the group in Jesus' name.
Really grateful for that, my sister, a man. So listen.

(13:06):
The Prophet Isaiah in chapter fifty nine, verse two says this,
but your wackedness has separated you from your God, and
your sins plural have hidden his face from you so
that he does not hear. What horror that would be

(13:31):
if God didn't hear me anymore, or if God didn't
hear you anymore, or if that God hid his face
from us. Why because of our wickedness, our sin, ladies
and gentlemen, separates us from a relationship with a holy God. Right.
And this is the Prophet Isaiah and the old Covenant

(13:53):
before Jesus stepped on a scene in the physical. Because
Jesus always has been and always was, There's never a
time that Jesus was not a man. But according to
the chronological scriptures, right, if we look at it historically
at that point, and Jesus wasn't on his earthly ministry.

(14:14):
So the prophet Isaiah saying, this is what separates us
from a holy God. Our wickedness, our iniquities, our sins,
our rebellion a man separates us from a holy God.
That should be terrif for anybody who cares about eternity,
the people who are in the back, who just think

(14:35):
it's all about now here and now and then when
you pass on, you just go to the ground and
that's it, and this doesn't matter to you. Right, you
have no hope. There's no hope for a person who
is godless. There's no hope for a person who is
without Christ. There's no hope for a person who is
not forgiven of their sin. The only hope we have
is the hope that God placed in us by way

(14:56):
of his Holy Spirit, through the forgiveness, the shed blood
of the life Jesus, the forgiveness of the Lord. And
now we have Holy Spirit God living inside of us,
which is actually the hope of glory on this side
of eternity for all the earth. Right, that's why there's
a lot of pushback on Christianity or on Christians by
the enemy, because he knows that we have the goods

(15:19):
and men, and he knows that we have the truth,
and he knows that we know the way and the life,
that we know Jesus, and that Jesus, his gospel, his
message will set the captives free from the bondage of sin.
So sin separates let's get that straight. Because a lot
of people don't want to talk about what separates us

(15:41):
from a holy God, which is a shame. Because people
are trapped in sin and they want to know, how
do you get out? And if you have the answer,
and I have the answer, we have the word. We
have the living Word of God is the answer. We
can introduce people who are trapped in iniquity, sin, all
kind of stuff going on in life, and we're just
going to pass them by without telling them the truth.

(16:03):
That's not loving. So a congregation, like I said earlier
in the opener that I know about that hadn't spoken
about sin or their preacher never preached about sin for
over a decade, that's not love. Man. That's actually I
don't know what that is. It's not the Gospel. And
man You can't have the Gospel without bad news, the

(16:24):
good news of Christ, because it's good. That implies that
there's something bad. Right within the Gospel. There is something bad.
It's called sin, separation from God. Sin is not just
doing bad things. Like I said earlier, separation from a
holy God. Our rebellion separates us from a holy God.

(16:49):
You know what that does, at least the spiritual death,
because without the spirit of God in us, we just
existing on this planet. You realize the cutest baby who
is born today because I know there's a baby born
today somewhere in the world, somewhere in America, in the world,
there's a baby born today, very cute. Amen, That precious

(17:10):
baby right is now born into a sin full world.
And that baby is born a sinner. Not because God says, okay,
a'ty MENI miny moe. This baby is not a sinner.
This baby's a sinner. No, it's because of the fallen world,
the fall of man. Genesis chapter three introduced a separation.

(17:35):
Have you noticed that if you ever read the Book
of Genesis chapter one, chapter two, beautiful, chapter three, the fall, well,
what was happening? Well, everything was perfect in a perfect garden,
perfect environment. Amn, husband and wife, Adam and Eve walking naked,
and you know we're not ashamed of that. Until there

(17:58):
was a line Serpent speaking to Eve and lying to
her about what God said about the forbidden fruit. So
because of the lie and the deception, that Eve, you know,
kind of like understood as truth to be true and

(18:19):
gave it to Adam, the forbidden fruit. Because of that disobedience,
it caused sin, sickness, death, and what we're having now,
what we're experiencing now, that was the first atom who failed.
But the last atom, the Lord Jesus Christ right settled
the score, settled the issue. That's why the Bible says

(18:42):
in John chapter three, verse number three. I think it
says you must be born again. We must be born
again to inherit the kingdom of God. So we're born intocent.
Even that cute little baby is born intocin amen. So
when that baby low willing gets old enough, that baby
will be taught the ways of the Lord right in
the perfect family and a good family if they know

(19:06):
the truth, and they would come to a point where like, wait,
I need to be forgiven for these sins that I've committed,
and they go to the Lord who forgives and would
never turn anybody way, the Bible says, and from that
point on you'll be born again. So sin is serious,
according to the Gospel, according to the scriptures, according to

(19:27):
the prophets. Why why sin so deadly? Well, because when
you're a sinner, you are actually working for a sinful system,
in a sinful system, under a lying boss, which is
the devil. And the Bible says in Romans, chapter sixth,

(19:48):
verse number twenty three, for the wages, the payment of
sin is death. So why would anybody want to work
for death penalty or a death sentence? Right? Well, I did.
I don't know about you. Before Christ, that's what I
was doing. I was a professional sinner working for aligning

(20:13):
system and aligned boss. Was it fun in a certain way?
I guess it was because everybody else was doing it
in my circle. So we were sinning and we were
getting paid paycheck of death. That's literally what's happening for
people who are without Christ. That's literally happening for people

(20:37):
who are blinded by the devil, the world system, and
their own evil, fleshly desires. Then the light of the world,
Christ Jesus appeared right and took the penalty of that
sin debt upon himself willingly and made away for us

(20:58):
to be set free from that sin debt. Incredible. There's
no other God like my God. There's no other Lord
like Jesus. Amen, He's the Lord of lords, the King
of kings. Since the Joyce says, Amen, sin steals, kills
and destroyers keeps you from faith in God. Yeah, so

(21:19):
we know that now. Thank you, sister Joyce for that comment,
because that's true. It steals, kills and destroyers. That's the
work of the enemy. That's the work that the devil
is doing on a day to day basis. And I
don't think he takes any days off, no vacation time
for the devil. He's on a relentless mission to kill, steal,

(21:45):
destroy as many people as he can. That's why the
Gospel has urgency all up in it. If you look
at Jesus his life when he came and started preaching
at the age Amen, the first sermon or the first
speech or the first preaching that he did was about repentance.

(22:08):
It wasn't about, Hey, let's go play a game of
softball and we'll talk to the disciples and we'll have
a debate afterwards. No, he said, repent for the kingdom
of God. The kingdom of heaven is near. So when
you hear preachers telling the congregations to repent, they're actually
following the ways of the Lord. Amen, repentance, turning from

(22:30):
your wickedness that we saw in the book of Isaiah,
chapter fifty nine, verse two, that says, our wickedness separates
us from a holy God. Amen. So when we repent,
we're turning away from the wickedness the sin a man
and turning to the righteousness of the Lord Jesus. That's
true repentance, according to how the Bible describes it. So

(22:54):
my let me own this. My iniquities separated me from
my God. My sins because of my sins, God was
hiding his face from me Isaiah fifty nine and two.
Personalize the scriptures. Amen, it hits differently, right. That's why

(23:14):
the Gospels urgent people without Christ. Listen closely. People without
Christ are not just unfulfilled people, right. They're never going
to be satisfied. They are spiritually dead and facing judgment
unless they receive the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.

(23:38):
We're not supposed to be judging right, well, judgment is coming, Amen.
And without Christ in your life and in my life, Amen,
we're still under the wrath of God. So I don't
know how us to explain it. But listen, there's bad
news for those who are without the good news for

(24:00):
those who don't receive the good news of the Gospel
of the Lord Jesus Christ. The bad news is that
when you do everything you want to do in this world.
That's why the Bible says, what does the profit a
man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?
Because remember the wages of sin, sex, drugs, violence, premattural sex,

(24:20):
gender identification issues, all kinds of stuff. Killing excuse me, murder,
not killing, because if killing was a sin, then we
won't have nothing to eat because we have to kill animals,
we kill plants and all that stuff. So it's murder
actually is the issue when it comes to disobeying God's commandments.

(24:40):
But you know what I mean, Sin, all that sin
that the Bible literally honestly says that sin is pleasurable
for a season, not for eternity for a season, because
what does it do that actually satisfies the flesh or
it pleases the flesh for the moment. But when the

(25:01):
results or when the consequences of that type of life,
when the consequences come because of that type of life,
it'll bring sin, brings death through sickness, disease, mental issue, witchcraft, rebellion,
which is a former witchcraft, manipulation, which is a former witchcraft.

(25:23):
Jesus shows up. He knows what he's here for. He
knows his mission. He sees the world, He sees the
people who, by the way the Bible says, Jesus went
to his own people, and his own people rejecting him
a man, I'm paraphrasing. Well, Jesus shows up regardless. He

(25:45):
knows his mission, he knows the condition of men's heart,
and he shows up on a mission. Jesus shows up
in the world that promotes many paths to truth. Because
even in Jesus stated, people were saying there's different ways
that you could get to the truth. But Jesus, in

(26:07):
his bold declaration that no one has ever been able
to refute or to say he didn't say it, or
this fight here is God's statement. John fourteen six, Jesus said,
I am the Way, the truth and the life, not
the lights A lot of people will say, lights I

(26:27):
am the Way, the Truth, and the life. No one
comes to the Father except through me. This means twenty seconds,
there is no salvation through religion. There's no salvation through
good works or self improvement, which means there is no
other name on the heaven which people can be saved.

(26:53):
Acts four and twelve. The Bible says salvation is found
in no one else but the Lord Jesus. And this
is true today. It was true, then, it's true, now,
it's true forevermore so, this truth, even though it sounds
exclusive because it is exclusive, because truth by definition, by
its plain definition, is exclusive, but it's actually inclusive because

(27:16):
why Jesus offers salvation to everyone who believes, regardless of
their background, regardless of their past, or regardless of their status. Man.
So this is the gospel message dealing with the bad
news that we get to the good news. Amen of
the Lord Jesus Christ. I hope that helps you out.
I know it's a big question of what is saying.

(27:38):
It's a big question for a morning devo. I can't
get totally into it. There's a lot more to say
about it. Amen. Go to Isaiah chapter fifty nine. We
wear a verse number two, but take time read Isaiah
fifty nine the whole chapter so you could get the
context of why the statement was brought up by the prophet. Amen.
So thank you so much for hanging out with me
for these morning DeVos. I hope and pray that you

(28:00):
continue to read the Word for yourself. Get the revelation
of who Jesus is. If you're not saved, what are
you're waiting for? Admit that you're a sinner and asking
Jesus forgive you for those sins. Believe in his word
and believe in the Word over your life. Amen, and
then confess the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord
and savior everywhere you go, and you will be blessed
for it. Amen. God bless you all, God keep you all,

(28:22):
and remember always that God is good. Peace.
