Speaker 1 (00:03):
Good morning family, Good morning, God bless you. Welcome back
to the Morning Devo. It's your brother Sam Lopez akadj
Sam Rock. So winners with a Z the org and live.
That's so, winners with a Z dot org. Let me
just switch up my glasses here so that way I
could get the glare out of my eyes. Theymen. So,
sister Joanne, I see you. Good morning, God bless you,
(00:24):
rise and shine right. Good morning, God bless you, my sister,
my friend. Thank you so much for coming through to
the Morning Devo. You are such a faithful listener and
viewer to the Morning Devo. And I know God is
blessing you because you are engaged in the Word, applying
the word, and you are just an amazing person in
(00:44):
the Word in the Kingdom Amen of God. So today
we're talking about how to write your prayers down. Write
your prayers down, journal them. We have a scripture to
back up why we should do that. The Word of
God speaks of writing down and journaling. Write your prayers
today in the Morning Devo. A man is so much
(01:05):
to pray about, so much going on. If you haven't noticed,
a man writing helps you focus. At least it helps
me focus and remember. So writing helps you focus, reflect,
and remember the three r's right there. It can also
help you track answered prayers and spiritual growth. When you
(01:27):
have an answered prayer, right, you make a prayer request,
and that prayer is answered, I suggest you write it
down market somewhere, put it on your calendar, put it
in your Bible, because that means God has intervened on
your behalf according to your prayer requests. And that right
there is amazing, that right there is memorable, that right
there is supposed to be celebrated a man not ignored.
(01:50):
This is not hocus pocus. We're praying to the true, holy, righteous,
loving God, Amen, And when he responds, we should write
it down so we could track answered prayer. We could
track it, and we could also know that we're growing spiritually.
And then when you go through something later on in life,
you could go back to the promise that God gave you.
(02:11):
We could go back to the answered prayer. You could
go back and know that you was different back then. Amen,
you were relying on the same God. But yet we
relying on the same God. We're different, younger in the faith. Right.
And then you go back and you're encouraged and you
continue to pray because you know, if God did it
once a man, he could do it again. He can,
(02:32):
doesn't have to, but he can. And we know that
if we write down our prayers and we prayer journal. Amen,
is something amazing that could happen. We're gonna be in
habit Cook chapter two, verse number two. Have a cook
chapter two, verse number two Today in the morning, Devo.
If you have any questions, comments, concerns, prayer requests, or
anything along those lines, please don't hesitate to leave it
(02:53):
on a live chat. That's what we're here for. Also,
if you're listening as Soul Winners with a zea Org,
welcome back to the morning. Thank you so much for listening.
And also on the podcast. There should be both ways
to connect there live that so win is with a
Zeta org is where you could camp out as well.
There's a live chat. There's an interactive Bible there on
that website. It's distraction free, no pop ups and none
(03:17):
of that stuff going on, and you can really key
in and concentrate and focus more at live that so
win is with a Zeta org and you'll be off
the matrix grid. Amen. So let's go ahead and pray
after we pray with shared this out for like sixty seconds.
For those who want to update on young Arika Ramos.
That's we've been praying for Amen. Here's the update. She's
(03:40):
waking up. Here's the update. A family is encouraged. Here's
an update Amen that the doctor is saying it's a
long road to recovery, but we're believing that she's going
to recover. Holy in the name of Jesus, right, So,
thank you so much for your prayers and joining in
faithful healing prayers. Amen, healing faith. I believe in the
(04:05):
intervention of the Lord. Amen. I believe he still heals,
he still saves, he still rescues, he still redeems, he
still performs miracles, signs and wonders. God is the same yesterday,
today and forever. More So, let's pray. After we pray,
we'll shared this out for like sixty seconds, and then
when we come back, we'll get into today's scripture Habakuk,
chapter two, verse number two. Ready, Father, I thank you
(04:27):
for everything that you've done from point zero to point now.
Thank you for today o'clock. Today's a today o'clock moment
that we have right now that we can share with
one another that we can believe in You, Lord God,
concerning all our prayer requests and when something happens, Lo God,
we could write it down. We could write down a
(04:48):
prayer request. We could write down your promises, we could
write down the word, We could write down our experiences.
Thank you, Lord God for helping us stay focused and
reflect and remember who you are or what you have done,
what you can do, what you have done for others,
and what you can do for us. I thank you,
Love God for the power of prayer. I thank you
Lord Jesus for guarding us, guiding us, protecting us. I
(05:11):
pray I had your protection over myself, my wife, our family,
our children, our grandchildren, both sides of our family, for
every single family member that's watching, and every single person
on the other side of the screen and on the
other side of this mic, that you will bless, guide, God,
protect and continue to encourage and aspire us to come
together in faith and prayer, knowing that you hear our
(05:34):
prayer and you respond. Thank you, Love God for your power,
your love, your grace, and your mercy, your authority. Thank
you Holy Spirit for living and dwelling inside of us
and leading us into your perfect will and your perfect plan.
So I speak life, not death. I speak only life
concerning all things living. I speak death to those things
(05:55):
that try to distract and take us out prematurely. And
love God that you will, can you to just be
the main focus of our attention, the main focus and
the main person, the Lord Jesus Christ, that we speak to,
that we pray to, and that we love. And I
pray this by faith, knowing that you hear these prayers
(06:15):
and you answer them according to your perfect will and
purpose for our lives. And Jesus Holy Name, we pray
this by faith, and those who agree we say amen
to the Amen. So help me share this out. Sixty seconds.
When we come back, we'll get right into today's word
on the morning, Devil, I'll be right back. Thank you
(07:55):
so much for sharing helping me share this out, whether
you're watching live, or you're watching from the rebroadcast, or
you're watching or listening later on Amen. Thank you so
much for sharing this out. If at any moment, whether
we're live or not, at any moment you have something
to share, your head and share on the live chat,
on the page, on the website, on the podcast, and
(08:16):
on the radio network if you're there, so listen. Let's
go for it. Let's get this scripture on the screen
for those who are listening only because you're driving, maybe
you're working out, maybe you're jogging. Amen. But we're going
to read this word for word the way we see
it on the screen, so that way everyone's on the
same page literally, amen. So that way we could really
press into what God is saying today and this morning. Amen.
(08:39):
So let's go for it. And here we go. Let
me get this ready on the screen. Here we go.
Write your prayers. Write your prayers. This is biblical, man,
there's no I mean, it's practical, right. Write Write your
prayers down, Write your request down, write the memories down.
A man, reflect. Remember it's a reminder of God's goodness
(09:02):
when you write your request down. Amen. And when the
promises of God are there, write him down. So that
way you know for sure that God has worked in
your life. Have a cook. Chapter two, verse number two says,
then the Lord answered me and said, the Lord speaks,
he still speaks. I heard a preacher say God doesn't
(09:23):
speak no more. Okay. Then the Lord answered me and said,
write the vision and engrave it plainly. On clay tablets,
so that the one who reads it will run. Amen.
So in other words, write down what you see, write
(09:45):
down what you hear, write down the revelation. There's another
I should have chosen another translation that makes more sense
to what we're saying. And this translation says, Then the
Lord replied, write down the revelation and make it plain
on tablets. Amen. Write down the revelation. Write down what
(10:07):
God revealed to you. Write down what God said, write
down that moment in time, put a date on it. Amen.
I had the privilege of doing that when I went
into the prayer room chapel in the hospital yesterday when
(10:28):
I went to do my visit. Amen. And they have
a book there and you can write down your prayer requests,
write down your answered prayers, write down the revelation of God. Amen,
so all can see. And when somebody else sees was
being written down, Amen, in our situation that we're facing,
it will inspire others and say, listen, if God could
(10:52):
do that for them, that means God could do that
for me. It's inspirational and inspires and encourages when you
write down your prayers, When you write down and journal
your prayer requests answered prayer, some prayers that you probably
or both of us, all of us haven't received according
(11:14):
to how we thought we would receive it. Write it down.
God has showing you something. God has shown me something, Amen,
and write it and make it plain. N't have to
make it a mystery. It doesn't have to be mystery.
It doesn't have to be something so complicated. Lord said,
make it plain. But others could see. Amen. The other
version says and they were, so others will run and
(11:37):
tell somebody else. Amen. But we have to read in
a context. So if you take haber Cook chapter two,
read the whole chapter. We can't bring out of verse
number two. So write your prayers down. That's prayer journaling. Amen.
I should have brought up my prayer journal, Amen, that
I used to have before. I can't find it. That's
(11:59):
the reason why I'm not showing you right now. Amen.
But take a book, plain, a plain book, Amen, and
write down your prayer requests, journal what God is revealing
to you. Because I could guarantee one day you're going
to need that remembory that memory. One day you're going
to need to reflect. One day you're going to need
(12:19):
to be focus on what God has done and what
God can do, not only for us, but for others. Amen. Listen,
and we all don't deserve it. We have the grace
of God. That's God giving us what we don't deserve.
We have the mercy of God and God holding back
what we do deserve. Amen. So the grace and mercy
of God amazing. We don't. God doesn't owe us anything
(12:41):
yet because He loves us and he wants to communicate
with us. He wants to be in our lives. He
wants to show us that he's real. Amen. He will
give us revelation of who he is more and more
day by day as we press into his word. So,
writing helps you focus, Writing help you reflect, and writing
(13:01):
helps you remember. Amen. It can help you track answer
prayers and your spiritual growth. Amen. So reflect Remember and
what did I write down on the other one here?
Or it is focused? Reflect and remember I thought there
was three hours. It's only two hours, my bad, I
(13:23):
said three hours earlier. So it helps you. It's a tool.
It's practical. It's not like you don't have to get
super spiritual. Literally, write down, make it plain. What are
you going through in your life? Write it down? What's
the scripture to back up on what you're writing down.
Make sure you always tie scripture to your prayer requests, please,
(13:45):
because if it's not the word, then it's something different.
And if you're like me, if you're praying, Amen, I
like to attach a word to my prayer. I like
to attach a word to my life. I like to
attach the promises of God, the scriptures, the promises to
the situation. Amen. And if I'm praying for others, I
(14:07):
like to tie a word for others to hear God's
word through the prayer. Because if it's not the word
of God that empowers your prayer, you might be praying
to the ceiling. You might not be praying to the
right God. Amen. God's word accomplishes God's purpose. God's word
is God's will, and God's word is perfect with our
(14:30):
spot or blemish. No contradictions. Don't believe the hype people
saying there's many errors and as many contradictions in the Bible,
yet they never show you one. Isn't that amazing? Oh,
there's a errors in the Bible's been rewritten for years
and years and years, and we don't have the original
to compare it to. So how do you know that
(14:51):
the Bible has been written, has been rewritten. We have
copies of copies of copies, which actually is a great
thing in my opinion, because if some some money would
have had the original copy, then that someone could have
altered it for all time and it would have changed
and changed and change. And then if somebody has the original,
(15:13):
then you could compare where are the changes here? But
since nobody has the original, I think God set it
up like that. Amen. He wanted us to copy and
copy and copy. As people were copying over the scriptures,
copying over the scriptures, copying over the scriptures all these years,
thousands of years later, we can look at it and say, wow,
(15:34):
there's really the same scriptures that everybody has been reading
since the beginning. Amen. So I'm sure when we get
into eternity we could ask that question, where is the original?
And then the Lord if he pleases, if it pleases him,
he'll show us the original. Amen. It's not a problem
at all for God. Nothing is a problem problem for God.
(15:55):
Whatever God offers us, Amen, he will we will benefit
off of what God offers. I should say, so, I'll
give you some examples. When you pray with the word
of God and write down the word of God next
to your prayer. Say, you need peace and guidance. Who
(16:16):
in the world doesn't need peace and guidance. I need
peace and guidance. I need peace, direction, guidance, all of it.
So I could write down a scripture next to the prayer,
requests Lord, I'm gonna pray Psalm twenty three, and I'm
gonna write it down, Amen. And you could get ahead
to look up Psalm twenty three, write it down, not
(16:37):
the whole chapter, maybe a verse out of Psalm twenty three,
and then you could ask the prayer for peace and guidance,
and that will help you really understand what Psalm twenty
three is saying and what God is offering you and
me at that moment, at that time, put a date,
put down a scripture and your prayer requests about this.
(16:58):
You need strength and courage. You write down a scripture
like Isaiah forty one and ten, and you write your
prayer request, Lord, according to your word in Isaiah forty
one and ten, please help me with strength and courage
about this. If you need wisdom, you have to make
a decision not based on your feelings, but based on
(17:21):
the Word you could go to James chapter one and five.
Write down James chapter one, verse five, and ask God, Lord, God,
according to your word in James one of five, I'm
gonna ask you for wisdom. Journal it, write it down.
It's okay. People say, oh, you don't have any evidence
that God is real. You could go to your journal
and say, what about this is in this evidence? Amen.
(17:44):
I didn't go to Buddha, I didn't go to Muhammad,
I didn't go to Joseph Smith. I didn't go to
no religious person. I went straight to the word of
God and then I journaled it. I wrote down a date, Amen,
and God answered it this day. Then you have proof.
You wrote it down, you made it. Others could see it. Amen.
You could see it, and it will encourage and inspire others,
(18:05):
and people will have to admit that while this person
prayed and look what happened. Although it might not happen,
it probably won't happen immediately. And sometimes you know, life
happens and we need God like yesterday, but he shows
up in the perfect time. Amen. I was in a
hospital visit talking to the grandmam of who we've been
(18:26):
praying for, and I was like, I wish this would
just happen right now, right, But we have to be patient.
God is patient with us. We should show patience too. Amen.
I just want things to happen right away. If I
see a person sick or hurt, I want that person
to be healed and made whole right there on the spot.
It could happen that way, by the way, and there's
(18:48):
been testimonies that it has happened that way. People say
that when I got saved, I had a one to
eighty like right away. Amen. That's what people say, because
they knew who I was. And then the next day
I was a changed man, different man, not perfect, and
I'm still being worked on. And God sees me perfect. Amen.
(19:10):
The eyes of God, he sees you, and he sees
me perfect. God doesn't make any mistakes. God doesn't waste pain.
He sees all our tears, Amen. And he knows our
heart and he loves us anyway. We don't have our
heart that is deceitful and wicked any longer. When we're
(19:30):
born again, we have a new heart, we have new desires,
we have a new mind, we have a new thought life. Amen.
I will always always are trying to come back and
show up. The world's system doesn't agree with God's system. Amen.
The Kingdom of God and the kingdom of this world
two different kingdoms. Right, But we know that we can
(19:50):
continue to pray. We know we can continue to trust
in God's word. We know we could apply the Word
of God every day of our lives. We don't have
to wait to a Bible ste that He comes. We
don't have to wait till morning for a morning devo.
We don't have to wait for a midweek service or
Sunday service or Saturday service. We could go to the
Word of God daily, a man, at any time. That's
(20:12):
the amazing thing about God's Word. It's not a religion.
It's not based on rules and regulations, based on the power,
the love, the grace, the mercy, testifying, testimonies, prophecies, a man,
the psalm, sacred songs, all of it isn't the word
of God. The Bible doesn't contain the Word of God.
(20:35):
The Bible is the Word of God. So therefore we
have the Master's Plan in our hands daily. Whether you
have it on your phone or whether you have a
written out Bible right cover to cover, you can read
it for yourself. So how about this one. Take the
sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,
(20:57):
which is the Word of God. And pray in the
spirit on all occasions. So if you don't know what
to pray, pick up the scriptures. If you don't know
how to pray, pick up the scriptures, head over to
Ephesians shot the number six seventeen to eighteen around there
and pray this. Pray in the spirit on all occasions.
(21:21):
And sometimes you'll start praying in a language that you
know you don't know. Like I remember, I had a
dream and in a dream, I was in the kitchen
and there were two dogs right in the kitchen, and
I was like, what are these dogs doing here? It
was it was a vivid dream, and a word came out, keith.
(21:44):
I don't know if it was I forgot the word.
It was a different language. I know that for sure.
One day I went to work, I had that I
had that dream in my mind. And when I was
going to work one morning, the Lord told me, asks
this lady she's from. She was from somewhere near Russia, right,
(22:09):
She was a Russian lady from another country in Russia,
something around that area, and run that region. And she said,
ask her what that word meant in your dream. I
was like, Lord, that's crazy, Like, I hardly noticed person.
I know she's from those countries that you just told me.
But okay, I'll ask her. She's gonna think I'm totally crazy.
But when I said the dream and I said the word,
(22:32):
she said, how do you know my language? I said,
I don't, it was in my dream. She said that
word means dogs, and I was like, oh man, that
was crazy. So God would show up in visions. God
would show up in your dreams. He speaks to you
in your dreams. And then when he gives you the
practical thing to do to confirm what he's told, you
(22:54):
go ahead to do it, and you'd be amazed. Hey man,
that was the first time that I I spoken tongues
in another language in a dream and I got the
translation from the person that understood that language first time. Right,
that was amazing. So sometimes you'll be speaking in another language,
(23:15):
you'll be speaking in tongues, You'll be speaking and praying
in tongues, and somebody in their native tongue will understand
exactly what you're saying. Another example, me and my wife
one time went to go pray for a young man
that was stabbed. I think he was stabbed. He was
in a bad situation in the hospital and his mom
(23:37):
was there and they were you know, the dominant language
was Spanish, and although I'm Puerto Rican and my wife
is Puerto Rican, at that point we didn't speak too
much Spanish. I still don't speak too much Spanish, but
my wife some Spanish as well, but we didn't know
enough to be fluent in Spanish to pray all in Spanish.
(23:59):
So as my wife was there and we were asked
to pray, the mom was there, so you could testify.
My wife said the whole prayer in Spanish, and then
the lady after we said amen, the lady was like, wait,
I didn't know you know how to speak Spanish like that,
and my wife said, I don't. That was a holy spirit.
So there's times and places. Just open your mouth a man,
(24:21):
as you're praying, ask God to fill you up with
his spirit, fill you up with his word, and he
will do it. And then you could write it down
a man, make it plain, date it, puddhis scripture, What happened,
What did you pray? What was the revelation? Amen to
that way, when you go back to that. You're going
to be like, there is a God in heaven. There
(24:42):
is a God that moves heaven and earth on our behalf.
There is a God that we can rely on, that
we can trust. There was a God of Abraham, Isaac
and Jacob. There was a God who responds to prayer.
There's a God who is faithful to his word and
faithful to us. There was a God who lives in
us by way of holy Spirit. There was a God
who says, is the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. And we
(25:02):
could write these things down. Enough of people saying, oh,
you know, you're in a religion, you're this, you're that,
You could get ahead and listen to what they're saying.
Or you could get ahead and show them your journal.
You could go ahead and show them a proof in
your life. Have we all have different stories? Amen, Write
it down. It could be turned into a book. It
could turn into a podcast. It could turn into a
(25:24):
movie sometimes. Amen. So be practical, Amen, prayer journal. Write down.
It helps you focus, it helps you reflect, it helps
you remember, and it also you could track. You could
use it as a track of answered prayers or prayers
that are yet to be answered. Man, I have some
(25:44):
prayers that are yet to be answered, and they've been
I've been praying maybe twenty something years for these type
of prayers. Amen. What happens when those prayers start working?
What happens when those prayers start being answered? Of just
because they're twenty years old doesn't mean they won't be answered, Amen,
But go ahead him pray and wait wait on God.
(26:08):
There's nothing I have to do once I release a prayer, Amen,
and God hears it. As long as my prayer is
not hindered. As long as God hears it, Amen, you
can go back to that prayer every now and then.
I don't suggest praying the same thing over and over
again as if God didn't hear you. He heard you
the first time, or maybe you weren't weren't in right
(26:28):
standing with God. And you know you're not in right
standing with God. But now you are right Pray that
prayer again, and when God hears it, he will respond
to that prayer according to his time. So, like I said,
I've been praying for certain things over and over again
for over twenty years, amen. And I'm asking God to tarry,
in other words, to not come back. Yet. I know
(26:51):
it's not up to me when God comes back. But
I have some prayer requests for my family that I
want answered for the by the Lord. Amen, before he
mat his return and if he tarries. If he doesn't
come back, Amen, Amen, it's because of a purpose and
a plan. If he does come back, it's for a perfect,
perfect plan. Amen. Sister Joys. Good morning. God bless you.
(27:13):
Welcome back to the morning. Devo my sister and my friend. Peace.
Enjoy be with you as well in Jesus name. But
the rain God bless you, my bro. Amen. Amen, I
hope you enjoy your day to day. So listen. I'm
out of time. But we were in Habit Cook chapter two,
verse number two. I'm I'm going to be the first
admit I haven't read the book of Habit Cook. Amen.
God led me to the scriptures like Habit Cook. Wow,
(27:35):
it's in the scripture. Yes there, it's in the Bible. Amen.
But we were in chapter two, verse number two. If
you want read the whole chapter and verse number two.
Maybe you'll be inspired to read the whole book of
Habit Cook. Amen. So write your prayers, do your prayer journal. Amen,
it'll do you well. I wish I had minds to
show you. I can't find it right now, but I
(27:56):
have one somewhere floating around here, and it's in the pages.
You could write down in your book and your Bible
as well. Write in the pages, is okay, amen? It's
not sacrilegious to write down notes in your scriptures in
the Bible. So God bless you. Thank you so much
for hanging out with me for this morning. DEVO. God
bless you all. God keep you all, and remember always
(28:17):
that God is good. Peace,
