on the Florida Man app in, and of course right

there on the podcast as well. Thank you so much
for for making us part of your day today. We do, uh,
we do appreciate it today.
Speaker 5 (02:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
Before we get going, though, I guess I kind of
have to address a little something that kind of has
gone down in the past couple of days that I
had taken to social media talked a little bit about,
and I had a lot of people that reached out
to me about some of the things that I have
posted in the past couple of days. And for those
(02:33):
that follow me on social media, you've seen it. Those
who don't, then you haven't seen it. But you know,
I'm gonna talk about a little bit anyhow. You know
that I'm I'm I'm very transparent, uh with this audience
about so many things. We've talked a lot about things,
you know, my emotions on things. You know a lot
about my health, uh, with my kidney and other things
(02:56):
that the things that we've we've talked about and have
been very open about in the past couple of days.
I've just been going through a lot. I really have,
and and I think a lot of people got worried
by some of the things that I've posted. Some people
said that I'm just posting some weird things. Let me
just start off with this, I'm all right, Am I great? No,
(03:23):
I guess in a lot of ways, I could use
the man word and just be I'm fine. I'm not
one hundred percent, you know. One of the things that
I often talk about on this show is mental health
and mental health. There's so many issues across the board
when it comes to mental health. There's there's different levels
of mental health, there's different issues with mental health. And
(03:46):
one of the things that I have struggled with for
probably most of my life has been depression. And it's
something that I have I have dealt with for a
very long time. It is something that you know, is
never something that it's easy to deal with. And I'm
not going to get into some of the details about
kind of what has triggered me in the past couple
(04:06):
of days, but there's just some things that are going
on kind of in my life that just kind of
pushed me over that edge the past couple of days.
And I have not exactly been myself. Now to make
one thing one perfectly clear, because I also want to
get into this little bit. I am in no way
(04:29):
and I'm not just saying this, I really mean it.
I am in in absolutely no way in the the mindset,
the frame, or anything of hurting myself, hurting somebody else.
That is that is not that level of depression that
I am at. And I want to make that like
abundantly clear that that that is not the stage that
(04:53):
I am in. I have, I have my life been
at that stage, but I'm not. But it's one of
these things where it's like mental health again, is such
an important thing, and especially for men. And if you've
(05:13):
seen some of the posts that I have shared, you
you kind of see what I'm what I'm talking about,
and a lot of men deal with it as well,
and it's hard for some people. Some people, it's a
lot harder for others. And you know, I have a
friend who I love him dearly. He's like a brother
(05:35):
to me, and he has also gone through a lot
of things recently and he has been at that stage,
and he's been at that stage because of things going
on in his life, a lot of things that are
tough it's hard to navigate, hard to handle some things,
and especially if you're somebody like he is and somebody
like I am, who you have made so many sacrifices
(05:57):
for other people and you kind of forget yourself. You
work so hard for other people, so hard to please
other people, that sometimes you forget about yourself. And this
is one of the things that men's mental health, it
affects a lot. And this is one of the things
that I want to tell all men, is that you
(06:19):
have to you have to take time for yourself. You know,
I have overcome a lot with my own mental health,
with the stress and depression that I have dealt with,
the personal issues that I have dealt with. And of course,
this friend of mine, he has unfortunately had some close
(06:40):
friends to him who also we're dealing with a lot
of things and we're not able to handle it. And
it's been tough on him, and I think it should
be tough on all of us. And it's one of
these things. And again I don't mean to start the
show off a Debbie downer. We'll we'll get back into
(07:02):
my normal goofiness here very shortly. But it's a serious topic,
very serious topic when it comes to men's health and
you have to take time for yourself. It's it's an
uphill battle often for a lot of men. We we
go through things, we go through rejections, we go through depressions,
(07:23):
we go through, uh, the battles that sometimes a lot
of us don't want to talk about. And there's there's
battles that I have that I'm not going to talk about.
I don't I don't want to talk about it. There
are very very few people that are close to me
that that I actually talk about that with and uh
and and I do that for a reason. But there
(07:45):
are a lot of things that I think men and
mental health especially and this is not it's not excluding women,
because women also go through a lot of depression things too,
but with men recently and not necessarily just recently, but
you know, for for quite some time, we have always
(08:06):
been that provider, that that strength, that that fighter, uh,
the one that that has has worked so hard. And
you know, one of the things that that you know,
a lot of men end up uh dealing with in
a in a very negative way is a lot of
the relationship stuff and a lot of the things of
(08:28):
you know, no matter how hard you try to to
be the best that you can. You know, you get
the rejections and stuff, and that that's tough on a
lot of people. And you know, mental health again, it
is tough. And one of the things that that I
think a lot of people get is tired. And that's
that is me. You know, I am between the things
(08:50):
that I deal with, the so societal things that I
deal with, the the emotional things that I have dealt
with for a very long time. And and you know,
one of the things with me is that I have
addressed the issues. So for me when the fact, and
by the way, I'm not actually crying, I actually have
allergies and my sinuses are driving me absolutely batcrap crazy today,
So that's that's why I'm sniffling. But with me, I
(09:15):
have I've always addressed the issues. And again, I had
a moment and that is a moment that really it
wakes you up. It really truly wakes you up. Uh.
And because of that moment, I have learned how to
control things, how to deal with things, how to address things.
And it's one of the things that I don't think
(09:36):
there's a lot enough men that are learning. And I
don't think that that men are willing to open up
to admit that sometimes I need help, that sometimes I
need a person, I need a shoulder, I need I
need somebody to listen to me. I need somebody to
(09:56):
give me some advice. There's a lot of that and
there and then, and a lot of this is society.
Speaker 5 (10:01):
You know.
Speaker 4 (10:01):
It's one of these things where it's almost frowned upon
for men to step up and be this way. But unfortunately,
what happens is that men get to a point where
some can't take it anymore. And we have seen the
suicide rates that have happened, you know, we see it
(10:23):
with a lot of our soldiers, you know that that
can't take things anymore because of the stress and the depression,
the pressure and everything else, and they just don't open up.
And it's one of these things where I think men
really truly do need to learn to open up. And
it's tough. And I know because, like I said, there's
(10:45):
things in my life that I do not open up
to everybody about. I open up to a very very
very small circle of people, very small circle of people.
But you have to have that person. You have to
be able to have that moment, to be able to
actually open up to them to better yourself. You can't
(11:10):
let the monsters and demons that are rolling around in
your head control things. You really can't. And a lot
of the videos that I had posted on social media
in the past couple of days really kind of point
a lot of that out. So I know that a
few people have reached out to me and said, are
(11:31):
you okay, And honestly, eh, I will get through it,
and like my shirt says, everything will be okay, and
everything will be okay. You know. Sometimes it takes a
few minutes. Sometimes it takes sitting back and analyzing what
you just went through, what just triggered you. Sometimes it
(11:54):
will take the reaching out to that buddy to say, hey,
I'm not okay. And it's one of the things that
all men really need to understand that it's okay to
say that you're not okay. We get tired, we get
the emotional abuse sometimes from the spouse or potential spouses,
(12:16):
or the rejection that you might get with trying to
find that. And you may work hard at work and
you may do so many things, but it's okay to
say you're not okay because once you are able to
get to that point of being able to say that
you're not okay, that's when things get better and everything
(12:40):
will be okay. It's tough, and I know that that
some people go through some really really bad things and
you get through a point, whether it be a financial thing,
a relationship thing, a work thing, whatever it may be,
and it maybe overwhelm. But sometimes what you need to
(13:03):
do is stop. You need to say I'm not okay.
I need help because you're going to find who is
there for you. And I got to say this too.
That then everybody that did reach out to me on
social media ask me if I'm okay, The people that
text me and called me and messaged me and everything else,
(13:24):
or responded to some of the posts, you know, this
is the type of people that I'm talking about. There
are people out there for everyone. So if you are
a man who is by yourself, you feel you're by yourself,
that you feel that the world is crushing down on
top of you, it's okay to say I'm not okay,
(13:45):
I need help. It's okay to look at your best
male friend and just say can I cry? Because if
your best male friend does it reach out to you
and give you a hug, he's not your best friend.
(14:08):
Everything be okay, We'll be right back, all right, Welcome
back to the show, Good morning, Happy? What the hell
(14:30):
is today? It's Wednesday, only halfway through this week?
Speaker 5 (14:33):
My god?
Speaker 4 (14:35):
Anyhow, welcome back to the show. Appreciates checking us out today,
And yeah, maybe at the end of that segment they
got a little emotional. However, my alogies are driving me crazy.
There's there's probably gonna be a lot of sniffling throughout
this entire show today. I haven't even checked to see
what the what the the the pollen count is and
(14:56):
allergy and air quality is for the day. What is
it today? Air quality is at a fifty six moderate
air quality. Let's see the pollen today. It's grass, tree
and weed. Not that kind of wee. How can I
point this out? I went to the gas station the
(15:17):
other day, and look, you know that I'm not a
a user of the stuff. I don't I have no desire,
I don't care. I don't care if you do. I'm
not one of those. Hell my god, I'm holier than now.
And because I don't like it, you shouldn't if it's
your thing. Whatever. This woman stood in front of me
(15:38):
at the gas station and holy hell, I swear to god,
I got a contact buzz just off of her. But
that's not the weed that we're talking about. We're talking
about just the regular weeds, which now I understand why
my allergies is gone crazy. I'm at the lawn yesterday.
That's what's wrong with me. Anyhow, Welcome back to the show.
(15:59):
The marketing and the messaging tell them about all the
time about how the Republicans are so bad at this
and the Democrats are so good. As I scroll social media,
you know what I'm saying over and over again, starting
off with the King Jeffreys, The American people know that
Republicans shut down the government. Democrats want to open it
immediately and decisively address the Republican healthcare crisis. By the way,
(16:23):
it's not a Republican healthcare crisis. This is a healthcare crisis.
It's been created by government in general. But again, the
message is that the American people know the Republicans shut
down the government. Wasn't us us Democrats, we want to
open it up immediately. Do you look at the House Democrats,
they send out a message on social media. Republicans control
(16:45):
the House, Senate, and White House, they own this shutdown.
This is a Republican shutdown, and it's all lies. It's
all lies. But this is the message that they are
beating into people's brains that it is the Republicans who
were responsible for this shutdown. Now my question is this,
where is the Republican message when it comes to responding
(17:11):
to this. It's just not there. I mean everything that
you scroll down through and you look at more. You know,
thanks to Donald Trump, your big mac will now be
nine dollars from Gavin Newsom. And of course a lot
of that is because of the fact that, well, we've
been importing a lot of foreign beef. But here's an idea.
(17:33):
McDonald's could start buying all beef here in the US.
And on top of that, we can also make sure
that all of our beef is processed here in the
US instead of sending it to China to be processed
and then sent back. Yes, you know that a lot
of our food that does that. But you scroll through
and you see no response from Republicans. You don't see
(17:56):
the RNC jumping in there and saying, you know, hey,
let's respond to this. Last night I was asked again,
and it's been asking me a couple of times if
I would be interested in a in applying for a
position as a communications director in Congress, And of course
(18:18):
my answers no because of multiple reasons, starting off with one,
you'd have to live in DC, and two, there's no
way in hell that I can control my mouth in
a way that would that would serve a individual in
Congress well, because I would just say it in ways
(18:41):
that should be said versus how it should be said. Now.
I will say this though, if the R and C
was to call me up and say, Brian, we would
love for you to be our communications director and spokesperson,
I will tell you right now We'll still do this show.
But I will take that job in a heartbeat. And
I don't care if it's in Wahsington, d C. Because
(19:02):
the message has got to get out there and the
Republicans are failing right now. The Democrats again are winning
when it comes to messaging. They've got no planned, they've
got no idea. They've actually even don't even have a
message to send out to you other than it's the
Republican's fault. The Republicans did it. It wasn't us, it
(19:22):
was them. It was Donald Trump. Bad Republicans bad. It's
all of them. However, you do have a couple of
things that did happen, and I love this one. Jd
Vance dropped a bomb on Elizabeth Warren. Anybody see this one?
This was great Elizabeth Warren. She's now kind of talking
a little bit about the Hamas Israel peace process, and
(19:45):
she had tweeted, her exed, or posted whatever the hell
it is that we call it. For two excruciating years,
I have called for the return of hostages brutally kidnapped
on October seventh and held in Gaza. Today is a
good day. Surviving Israeli hostages are finally a home and
reunited with loved ones. And I'm thinking of them and
their families on this joyful day and praying for their
(20:06):
full recovery. I'm also grieving for all of those who
can't come home today. She went on to say that
today must be an important step toward lasting peace in
the region, peace for both Israel, Palestine Gaza. We must
end the war in Gaza, surge humanitarian aid, and negotiate
a two state solution.
Speaker 5 (20:27):
Now.
Speaker 4 (20:28):
Jd Vance came back with a one liner on this
one and just simply said to Elizabeth Warren. The President
told me he did this on the Indigenous People's Day
in honor of you. Now that's a great clapback. It
absolutely is a great clapback. And as funny as it is,
(20:49):
it's still not enough. The Republican Party has got to
get on the messaging because otherwise the Republicans are going
to win. And we're gonna step back and go, how
the hell did that happen? It happened because we didn't
say anything. We'll be right back, all right, Welcome back
(21:13):
to the Brian Rush Show here at Florida Man and
Radio and of course also streaming on Rumble and Wimkin.
Thank you so much for making us part of your
day today. Coming up in our number three of the show,
John Tammy is going to be Tammy is going to
be joining us. We're going to talk with him about
some of the economics of things, because now, what are
the threats that is coming out is that, Oh my god,
(21:34):
if you look at what's going on now in the economy,
it's the same thing that happened before the Great Depression,
and Donald Chump is going to destroy our economy. We
told you, so we're gonna talk with him a little
bit about some of our economy, because I love this
when the Democrats say, look at how great the stock
market is doing under Joe Biden. It's amazing. Donald Trump
(21:55):
could never do this. He did, and then he does
it again and the stock market does well. And of
course you have to be ready for it because it's
going to be an economic collapse. We're going to go
into it a great depression. Make sure you have plenty
of things to be able to make bread for the
rest of your life, because all with this it's just
gonna be so bad. Sit out and shut up. I mean,
(22:16):
se you know, I'm thinking about this a little bit,
and I do this often, you know, as much as
as we get into the mental health aspect and how
you know, sometimes we have our little breakdowns that I've
had mine kind of dealing with it now. I can't
imagine adding on to the stress of regular life with
(22:38):
Trump derangement syndrome. I can't even remotely imagine how tough
it's got to be to make it through your day
with the regular stress of life, and then adding on
to that where everything that you do has got to
revolve around I hate the big bad Orange man and
(22:59):
It's so sad because they're so deranged that even when
something positive happens for them, they got to get out
and be like, it's so negative, look one of the
And again I don't understand why. Well, I guess they
really are. And maybe this is this is their coping
mechanism when it comes to the left. How they are
(23:22):
not absolutely having mental breakdowns. And maybe the way that
they're having their mental breakdown is by blaming everything on
Donald Trump as a result. I don't know, everybody's a
little bit different. You got to find your way, but
it just seems like it's a non stomp thing with them,
and they have this absolute inability to differentiate between what
(23:47):
is right and what is wrong. And when you have
the Democrat leadership that is picking illegal aliens over you
and citizens of other countries over you, it's like, how
do you how do you? How does this not affect
you as a Democrat? I mean, if if Donald Trump
(24:08):
was to tell all of us, uh, screw you know,
we're gonna take care of these weeks, we would we
would boot him out office. We would we would all
get a visitor passed to the to the White House
and go in and remove him from the Oval office
and say no, you're done.
Speaker 5 (24:21):
Get out.
Speaker 4 (24:25):
It's just it really, truly is amazing to me to
watch how the the left reacts to things and and
how they they they love to twist and turn things
and and they're good at this and and this is
part of their messaging, and how the Republican Party needs
to get better at at countering this message because they
don't do it. Senator Chris van Holland coming out this.
(24:49):
Remember he's the guy that had to go see uh
Garcia uh or whatever his name is, Abrego Garcia whatever.
I don't really care how you say his name again,
because the guy is a loser and he's the one
who had to go down there to save him because
he's just a married Maryland man. But he was on
CNN's The Arena and he responded to the question about
why Senate Democrats won't vote for a clean continuing resolution,
(25:14):
and he said that I've now voted seven times in
the Senate and we'll vote in an eighth time this
evening to keep the federal government open, but to do
so without giving Donald Trump a total blank check to
continue his illegal activities, which from day one have harmed
federal employees, and to deal with the healthcare crisis that
(25:35):
is about to be triggered because Republicans left a ticking
time bomb on healthcare. Wait a second, So I thought
the Republicans already destroyed healthcare, so they didn't, and now
it's a ticking time bomb that's going to affect health care.
Speaker 5 (25:54):
All right.
Speaker 4 (25:55):
I'm just trying to keep all of this straight. It's
a tough thing to do when you're dealing with the left.
But when we also talk about the federal employees. Look,
this is one of the reasons we hired Trump because
we said, look, the company is too big, We can't
afford all of these people. The government is out of control.
(26:18):
Reduce it. We are tired of the bureaucracy. We're tired
of all of the stuff going on in government. And
the only way to get rid of all of that
is to get rid of it. Donald Trump is doing
exactly what we wanted him to do. It's not illegal activities.
It's called trimming the workforce or workforce reduction, which is
(26:44):
something that needs to happen in government. We don't need
a government so damn big. But he goes on and
he says that we would like to have a discussion
with the President of the United States. He's been working
to try and bring an end to the conflict in
the Middle East, but he is unwilling to address the
situation right here at home and talk to Democrats about
(27:05):
ending the Trump shutdown. And you mentioned the earlier recorded shutdown.
Remember that that was during Trump's first administration. Were now
in the second Trump shutdown Casey Hutt responded with that, saying,
but let's be realistic. Democrats could decide, Chuck Schumer could
decide to vote to pass this cr again. Why not
(27:27):
do that? And Chris Van Holland responds by saying, well,
because we've seen what's happened since day one in this administration. Right,
they have fired federal employees in the absence of a shutdown.
In fact, they have less legal authority to fire federal
employees in a shutdown than in the absence of a shutdown.
The judge will decide in a decided preliminary motion in
(27:50):
the case tomorrow. But they have had Elon Musk in
his chainsaw since day one. Though it's not Elon Musk
and his chainsaw, it's Elon Musk discovering how much money
you and your fellow Democrats have spent on things that
were fraud, waste, and abuse. You guys got busted, and
you don't like it. And then he said, I just
(28:15):
met today Casey with the a fired federal employee from
much earlier in the administration. So what I'm hearing from
federal employees is they want some kind of assurance that
this kind of illegal activity won't continue. But Trump's unwilling
to do that. He's willing to give the president of
Argentina twenty billion dollars of taxpayer money, but he's not
willing to end this shutdown. Again, here we go with
(28:38):
more of the lies. Argentina twenty billion dollars of taxpayer dollars.
That's another thing that they're coming out with that's not true.
We did in exchange. We did in exchange the pesos
for the twenty billion dollars to help save their economy
so that they could be part of us. We didn't
give them money. There's a lot more to that story
(29:02):
than the Democrats are saying, but it sounds scary. It
sounds bad that, oh my god, Donald Trump gave twenty
billion dollars to another country to help keep it afloat
twenty billion dollars. In the grand scheme of things, twenty
billion dollars is nothing when you look at all of
the money and the things that the Democrats spend money on.
(29:22):
When we look at the chainsaw stuff that Elon Musk did,
you've got no room to complain. And you notice that
the Democrats don't bring up any of the stuff that
we're found in dose. They just say, oh my god,
Donald Jump, he's out firing all these employees. Yeah, because
we don't need them. We don't need them, we don't
want them. Sorry, it sucks, I get it, but go
(29:46):
find a job in the private sector. Government cannot continue
to be this big period, and yet here we go.
It's it's the Trump shutdown. They happened before during tr administration.
That's happening again. Yeah, and why though, why is it happening.
It's because the Democrats will not vote to reopen things
(30:10):
because they want all of their pet projects. And here's
the thing. If you are so concerned about the ticking
time bomb of that Donald Trump and the Republicans have
left for health insurance and health care, then reopen the
government and get it done. It's a continuing resolution a
continuing resolution that is only supposed to go through I
(30:31):
think till like the end of November. So at this point,
I mean, you're about ready to roll into the time
that it was going to expire. Anyhow, they're now saying
this may end up being the longest one that we've
ever had. Remember the last one that we had, the
longest one was like thirty five days. And it does
do a lot of damage to people who do work
for the government that works in our military. Of course,
(30:53):
Donald Trump has said we're going to pay the military anyhow,
We're going to do it through some other pockets of money.
But he creates a lot of problems. It doesn't affect
the average person in America, most Americans, the shutdown doesn't
affect us. It affects government, and it affects the people
that are paid by government, and that's about it. Sure,
(31:17):
there's some services that are a little bit delayed because
of the fact that, you know, the shutdown happens. I mean,
like example, some of the things that I have to
deal with. I have to get credentials for some of
my employees with the aviation company that I work for,
and that is delayed because while the background checks that
the FBI does are put on hold because of the delay,
(31:38):
so that causes some problems for me. But overall, if
the Democrats would just say, okay, fine, let's do this
continuing Resolution, which again is continuing the spending that we
did last year. Let's do this through November and get
to work on negotiating this so that we can negotiate
a problem and fix the healthcare stuff. But instead they
(31:58):
would rather sit here and blame Donald Trump. Now, don't
be looking for it to open up anytime soon. We
still have a few more days until the No King's
rallies that are going to happen, and they need the
No King's rallies to happen, and then the Democrats will
step up and say, okay, well, let's vote for this
continuing Resolution and then let's try and get everything that
(32:19):
we wanted later on. All right, again, coming up in
the sorry I just got distracted. I was looking at
eighteen different things at the same time while let's try
to talk. Coming up, we are going to be talking
about the economic impact and some of the things that
are going on with that as well. But something here's
(32:40):
here's something that that you're gonna feel good about by
the way, insert sarcasm. Corey Booker, Yes, Spartacus, he was
on MSNBC last night on the Beat, and he said
that he's not going to rule out a twenty twenty
eight presidential Oh please do it, please do I to
(33:05):
be honest with you, I am looking forward to the
movie we're going to call the Democrat Primary. Think about this.
Here's all the people that have have basically said that
they want to do this. You've got Gavin Newsom, You've
got Corey Booker, you got AOC You've got Jazz Hands.
All of these people are saying, I'm going to run
for the next president. And who do we have on
(33:28):
the Republican side? Most likely going to be jd Vance
most likely, and just with jd Vance alone going up
against all that would be very impressive. There's a lot
of talk and rumor about a potential jd Vance Marco
Rubio ticket, which in my opinion might actually be okay.
(33:54):
But you've got all the crazies on the Democrat side
that are standing up and being We're going to run
for president, like Spartacus, like that's what we want for president.
Good luck, buddy, just good luck.
Speaker 5 (34:07):
All right?
Speaker 4 (34:07):
We got to take a quick break. We'll be right back.
This is the Brian Rush Show. Good morning, Happy Wednesday.
(34:32):
All right, welcome back to the Brian Rush Show here
at Florida Man Radio. You know, what I've discovered is
that I need to get I need you get a
new cushion on my seat. I've kind of cushioned it
a little bit with some towels or a towel, and
I keep shifting in my seat and every time that
I shift in the seat, it's wrinkling it a little bit.
So I'm getting that. You know when you get that
(34:53):
line in the towel and it feels like a you know,
a stick. I'm gonna have like a stick Chriase mark
right across my butt before very long. If it keeps
going on anyhow, too much personal information, but welcome back
to the show. Do appreciate you checking us out today.
And the propaganda's with the left. They are losing their minds.
(35:14):
They just don't know what to do anymore. And it's
funny to watch it because we saw this transition that
went from when people like Harry Sisson and Chris Maori
and all these others were actually being paid influencers by
the DNC, which now they have no money so they
can't do it anymore. And they essentially just stopped when
Kamala ended to her campaign when she lost, and they
(35:39):
all just got to a point where they're like, oh
my god, I still had to be relevant. I still
got to chime in on things. So I'm gonna continue
doing it. And it's been horrific, and Harry Sisson has been,
without a doubt, one of the best examples of it.
And I love picking on the kid, I really do.
Even though I would love to also sit down and
have a conversation with him, I really would. I'm just
out of a morbid curiosity in my mind. I would
(36:02):
love to sit down and have a chat with Harry Sisson,
just to pick out his brain a little bit. But
Pam Bondi had made a post on x and said
that today, following outreach from the Justice Department, Facebook removed
a large group page that was being used to dox
and target ice. Government agents in Chicago now pay attention
(36:24):
to the contents of this. The FBI, yes or the
at least of the Justice Department, had reached out to
Facebook and said, Hey, there's a page that you guys
have on there that is being used to doxed and
target law enforcement agents. And if you don't know what
doxting is, doxing is when you basically get somebody's name,
(36:46):
you release their name, you release their their address, you
release their photo, you release their wife's name, their children's name,
pictures like that. That's what the doxing is, and that's
what the Left is doing. They are putting the lives
and jeopardy of all of these ICE agents. But she
continued on saying that the wave of violence against ICE
(37:07):
has been driven by online apps and social media company
or campaigns designed to put ICE officers at risk just
for doing their jobs. The Department of Justice will continue
engaging tech companies to eliminate platforms where radicals can incite
in violence against federal law enforcement. Now, there's been a
lot of things that have happened. There's a couple of
(37:29):
apps that are out there that have been used to
essentially track ICE and things like the Apple Store and
Google Store. They have shut those apps down. They said, no,
we're not gonna We're not gonna do it. We got
rid of it. But hair Bearer's response to this is wtf.
The Trump team reached down to Facebook and asked them
to take down information or take information down about ICE agents.
(37:51):
So when Biden did this with COVID, Maga said it
was an assault on free speech. But when Trump does it,
there's no problem. These losers have no beliefs whatsoever, Harry, Really,
you're going to compare our free speech to be able
(38:12):
to talk about COVID and what we want to say
about COVID and people who knew about COVID to people
who are jeopardizing people's lives, putting it at risk, exposing
law enforcement agents for people to go after. You want
to compare those two, that's not even apples and oranges.
(38:34):
It's not even night and day. They are so different
from each other. But again, this is the level of
desperation that we are starting to see from the left
and especially the propagandas, because at this point, I don't
think there's anybody in the Democrat Party that really truly
has it together for sending out the message, because the
(38:54):
message that they have been doing has actually been pretty craptastic.
Even though it's consistent, and I give them some credit
for it's still craptastic. And when you had control of
or all of these these propagandists before when you were
able to feed them the information and they were they
were doing a pretty good job. I mean, it was wrong,
(39:15):
but they were doing a good job at it. And
now you have just the absolute desperation that is coming
from people like Harry who can't even see the difference
between free speech, which we saw during COVID that when
you spoke up about the COVID stuff and how I
don't want to take the shot or you know, any
of the other things that we tried to say about COVID,
(39:37):
we were silenced. You saw so many people on Facebook
that were silenced because of their political views during the
Biden administration. And why because the Biden FBI had an
office within some of these social media platforms specifically to
(39:58):
be able to go to them and say, hey, shut
down this account, Hey block this person from doing things.
And we've seen that. I mean, you look at all
the stuff that happened with YouTube, with people like Louder,
with Crowder, like Dan Bongino. Now how they were completely
silenced and demonetized for speaking out their thoughts on things.
(40:23):
And the fact that the FBI or the Justice Department
here in this case just as in whole is reaching
out to Facebook to say, hey, let's stop the doxing
of federal agents, because we've seen what's happened. The Democrats
are literally going after these agents. The Democrats are going
(40:44):
off and they are threatening these agents' lives, they're threatening
their children, they're going after their families now with COVID. Look,
if we wanted to say, hey, this is my thought
on COVID, that's just your thoughts on COVID. You weren't
(41:05):
going after somebody because of the fact that they were
taking the COVID shot. You're just saying, Hey, this is
what I believe, this is the information that I have
on this, this is what other real doctors are saying,
this is what science is saying. And they didn't want
to hear it because they had a mission with COVID
to really test the water to see how much they
(41:26):
can control us. Now, from day number one of COVID,
this show was questioning it from day number one, and
I had a lot of people that came to me
back when we started this show on a Saturday, when
I started coming out and saying, wait a second, this
doesn't make sense, and I questioned everything I questioned the statistics.
(41:52):
I questioned the numbers that they were giving out. I
questioned the information they were given out because nothing made sense.
I questioned it all. And I had people come to
me and be like, oh, dude, you really you shouldn't
do that. You don't talk about that. That's not good. Thankfully,
the owner of the radio station at the time was like,
do it, get out there, expose it. And I did.
(42:18):
I said it over and over again, and I had
people come at me for doing it. But Hairberry, you
need to relax a little bit. There's a big difference
between doxing FBI or federal agents and having free speech.
Hang on, we gotta take a break for our top
of the hour. We'll be right back.
Speaker 1 (42:44):
Brian Russe's name, you know the brand.
Speaker 2 (42:50):
Limb up the airways in this one, melting snowflakes with
the fiery head talking truth.
Speaker 3 (43:00):
You can't withstand fast show from Coast to Coast.
Speaker 2 (43:11):
Got the facts, but it ain't no boast, can't deal
the change and give it a toast to the man
who roasts the most.
Speaker 1 (43:18):
Knock it off. It's rust on me. But in rylack
care of scenes, the command no, don't.
Speaker 2 (43:26):
Free frame in the top show silver screen the first

breaking down laws of shame.
Speaker 1 (43:46):
Ryan Rust is here and claim.
Speaker 2 (43:48):
Voices rise of thing and so true do censor to
the court. Pliticians keep the score of Brian's battling in
this war knocking a bitrus care sas did you not
O don't free fring in the song show still the Street.
Speaker 4 (44:19):
All right, welcome back to our number two of the show.
Good morning. I just I just spent four minutes of
my life that I wish I could contack. I bless
his heart. I'm just gonna say, bless his heart. Congressman
Eric Swollwell, this guy, he you know what he tries.
(44:40):
He tries so hard to be the cool kid. He
fails miserably, but he does try. I just watched a
video that he did. He's been doing. He's been big
into doing these videos lately where he does all these
uh you know, the pumping iron strong. Actually that's not
how how is he doing? I am so strong. I'm
(45:03):
so strong. Look at the muscles that I'm building. You
can see it because I put the camera up on
there so you can see it. As I'm pumping the iron.
Look at my muscles. The spies from China love them.
But he did another video where he basically was on
the hunt for Republicans through through the halls of Congress,
(45:23):
and he was going to different doors and oh, this
door is locked, there's there's no Republicans here, and oh,
there's no Republicans there. Why aren't they working? Well, stupid,
because they did what they were supposed to do with
the Continuing Resolution, and your fellow Democrats in the Senate
have held it up. So to be perfectly honest with you,
(45:45):
even though I will agree that sure, there's probably still
plenty of work for the Republicans to do in the House,
and they are working. As a matter of efact, I
found out. So I don't I don't know if I'm
supposed to say this, but I'm gonna say it anyhow,
because I I'm pretty close with with the with several
of our our Congress people, and and I'm kind of
(46:08):
like on an inner circle on some of it where
I have like a standing order of this is off
the record, but we'll tell you what is on the record.
So I I hear a lot of things that I
just can't say yet. Things that eventually I do say,
and and things that they they they inform me of
that you know, helped me understand some of the things
(46:29):
that are going on. But there was a big call
that was done yesterday because you know how I am
big on messaging for the the Republican Party, and during
the call, UH Speaker Johnson was talking about a lot
of the uh the messaging and and getting out there
to the media and all this other stuff, and there
(46:51):
was a lot of confusion about it, and thank you
to Congressman Done. But Congressman Done apparently spoke up during
this call with all of the Republicans in Congress and
basically said, you guys need to find a show like
the Brian Rust Show and you need to listen to
that to get some ideas and what to do. Essentially
(47:14):
is what he ended up saying. So thank you to
Congressman Done for that one, for throwing that out there
and throwing it out to the entire Republican Party all
of the members of Congress that were on this call,
and Congressman Done said, you guys need to find somebody
like Brian Rust and the Brian Rush Show in your
(47:36):
community and get with him and do some interviews. Now,
good luck at trying to find somebody like me, because look,
I'm a one of a kind. But yeah, the Republicans,
they are working. But in a lot of ways, I'm
also okay with them not in Washington right now doing
anything else. The one thing that I wish that they
(47:59):
would get in there and start doing because we know
what's coming up in about a month if this Continuing
Resolution passes, and that is the Continued Resolution two point zero,
So let's get in there and start working on that,
Speaker Johnson. But in the meantime, while they are taking
their break, they do need to really get going and
get the message and get out there and start talking
(48:21):
to the people and counter what is going on. And
it's pretty bad when fart boy is out here doing
his messaging. And again it's cringeworthy. Who said it, Patriot? Seebee,
you said it cringeworthy, which is exactly what it is.
Now here, let me give you some of the playball.
It was only two minutes. God, it felt like it
(48:42):
was four Jesus, that's how bad it is. It was
so cringey. First off, he's in his little baseball cap
and his unshaven face and he's got his little sweater
vest jacket thing going on, and he's wearing his sweats
and sneakers, and he starts off in the Senate Train
Congressional train, which is an underground subway little thing that
(49:03):
goes between the office buildings. It's kind of cool. I've
been on it. It's neat. And he's like, let me see.
I mean, clearly there's nobody there, but he's like over exaggerating,
like looking down into the thing that everybody can see,
there's nobody in there. Oh, I don't see anybody. There's
nobody here. Uh. And then he goes to there's a
door which leads to one of the chambers or at
(49:27):
least an office building or something that he has gone
to in the video like three or four times. Now.
I've been inside the Capitol building. It's a big building.
There's a lot of different doors that you can go
to throughout that building, and this Nimrod goes to the
same one multiple times, like anybody here is there? Is
(49:49):
there any Republicans here working?
Speaker 6 (49:51):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (49:52):
I guess not. It's just so bad instead, and look,
I'm even could have criticized the Democrats when it comes
to messaging too. The Democrats right now the thing that
they are missing out on, and not that I want
to give them advice, and they wouldn't listen anyhow because
(50:13):
they're stupid. But if I was to give advice to
the Democrats right now, and this is what I'm going
to do, that would be to take this moment that
you have right now, because remember, the shutdown is because
of health care. It's because of Donald Trump and not
wanting to give health care to all of the millions
of Americans, and the Republicans want to take it away
(50:33):
because there is a Republican health care crisis. This is
the message we get. This is the opportunity right now
now that the Democrats have got people's attention to say, listen,
we have a crisis with our health care in America.
Right now. Here's what the crisis is. Lay it out
so that we all understand. Because, as somebody who is
(50:55):
very much so involved in our health care system, I
haven't seen it. I have not gotten the email from
our HR department to inform me that what is this.
I just had an absolute brain fart. It is October. Okay, sorry,
my god. I also something's going wrong with me. Yesterday
(51:16):
I was asked for my Social Security number at the bank,
and I looked at the bank teller and I was like,
I have no idea what it is. First time in
like fifty years that I've not known my social Security
I can right out there and I total brain fart.
I didn't know, And just now I had this moment
of what the hell month are we in? What is
the name of the month? I know it's ten, What
(51:38):
is that? October?
Speaker 5 (51:40):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (51:40):
So October is generally the month that a lot of
our healthcare is reset. Most of our health insurance is
reset in October. It's the open enrollment time for a
lot of the insurance things. I haven't seen a thing
from my HR department to say, hey, by the way, the.
Speaker 5 (52:00):
Prime the.
Speaker 4 (52:03):
What's the word I'm looking for, say I'm losing another
one the premiums, the premiums are going up, that your
costs are going I haven't seen a thing on that yet.
So where is this stuff that the Democrats keep talking about?
But right now is the ideal time for them to
get out and say, listen, here's all of the problems
with healthcare, but here's our solution, and this is why
(52:26):
it is important for you to vote for US Democrats
coming up in the midterm, because if you vote for
US Democrats in the midterm, we're going to address this
problem and this is how we're going to fix it.
We're going to this problem and this is how we're
going to fix it. But they're not doing any of it,
mostly because they have no idea, They have zero clue
whatsoever what they're going to do or even what's wrong.
(52:50):
But it sounds scary to say, oh my god, millions
of Americans are going to lose their health insurance. And
in a way, you got to be factually honest here, Yes,
there were millions of Americans that lost their insurance. Those
millions of Americans that lost their insurance was only a
handful of million, but they were the millions that were
(53:13):
on Medicaid and Medicare that were not supposed to be
because they're able bodied workers and they didn't actually qualify
under the qualifications for Medicare and Medicaid, so therefore they
had been kicked off the system and told go get
a job, you bum, and get some health insurance. There's
(53:34):
so much more to it, but again crickets from the Republicans.
This is again it's a moment for the Democrats to shine,
and they're not because they don't have anything. But it's
also a moment for the Republicans to punch back. Where's
the message coming from the Republicans going, Hey, while Eric
(53:57):
Swalwell is roaming the halls of Congress looking for Republicans,
Republicans are back home in their districts talking to their
constituents about the things that are important to them. Where's
that message from the Republicans. They're not even saying that.
(54:17):
I'm telling you, I could fix these problems for these
people so easily. They Maybe the Republican Party does need
somebody like me to help them with comms. I don't
want to do it for an individual congress person, but
maybe I should do it for the R and C.
Should give them a call and be like, hey, you
need some help, buddies, because things aren't working well for you.
(54:38):
It's really not. But again, the propaganda that is coming
out of the out of the left, it's pathetic. And
then you have people like Letitia James, who finally has
come out and talked for the first time since her
what was it, her baseless indictments, The fact that Donald
(54:58):
Trump is coming after me because I'm his political foe.
He's coming after you, fetso because the fact you broke
the law, that's why he's coming after you. But she
spoke at a rally in her first appearance sends her indictment,
and she said at the rally, you come for me,
you got to come to all of us. What you
(55:22):
come for me, You got to come to all of us.
All right, Maybe I missing something on that one, but whatever,
it's Letitia James she's smarter than the rest of us, which,
by the way, at this rally, she also went on
to talk about all of her education. She went on
to say how she's a Howard University graduate and it's
funny because I was watching a video where there's somebody
that was highlighting some of this stuff and he stops
(55:43):
the video and he goes, you know that Howard University
has a forty percent graduation rate, not something to be
proud of. And then she goes on saying that I
was in the room that this person learned from. And
she's like, oh, you were in the same room that
somebody that was in the past was at. But she
was there. The rally, by the way, was a campaign rally.
(56:06):
For Mamma Donnie and she's endorsed Mamma Donnie, so that
again says a lot about her. But she said that
we see powerful voices trying to silence truth, punished dissent,
and yes, weaponize justice for political gains. We are witnessing
the fraying of our democracy, the erosion of our system
(56:27):
of government. This, my friends, is a defining moment in
our history. Of course, she goes on to talk about
the baseless indictments nothing more than a continuation of the
president's desperate weaponization of our justice system. And she's also expected,
by the way, to make an appearance in the federal
court coming up in about a week or so to
(56:48):
talk about the charges that she has against her for
the fraud. And what's that Medicare went up for twenty
twenty six and they'll give give you a three point
five percent increase. But where is the no tax on medicare? Yeah,
because well they're not they're not getting it done. They're
just not in it. Again. You get you get things
(57:09):
like taking the taxes off of things. Democrats don't want that.
They want you to pay more taxes is what they want.
But again, all this propaganda that's out there, and again
if the Republican Party doesn't stamp up to counter it.
And I know I watched somebody in the in the
comments in the chats say something about how you don't
see the failure of the Democrat or the the chance
(57:33):
that the Democrats are going to win because of all
the failure that they've got going on, and that doesn't matter.
That doesn't matter to the low information Democrat voter. The
low information Democrat voter is not going to look at
things like the fact that Leticia James actually broke a
law and that they're going after for actually breaking the law.
(57:55):
What they get out of the propaganda is Donald Trump's
weaponar the justice system and he's coming after Letitia James
because Letitia James went after Donald Trump and now he
wants revenge. That's what the low information voter gets because
that's the information that the Democrats are bombarded with from
their party. So the reality is that coming up next
(58:19):
year and it does not take much. Keep in mind,
the margin between the Republican control and the Democrats is
a couple of seats. The Democrats don't have to go
for a thirty seat win. If the Democrats were able
to get five or six more seats, they can take
control of the House and it will be absolute chaos
(58:44):
in this country. If they were to get control of
the House. Probably not gonna happen with the Senate, but
the House is a good possibility. And the reason being
is because of the information that they're getting hit with,
by the way I just saw. I hope the information
is still right there. Of course it's not, because it
refreshed here in the state of Florida. The Republican Party
(59:05):
in Florida has has out fundraised the Democrat Party by
a huge amount of money. By like I think we
got like six point something million to about the five
hundred thousand that the Democrats have here in the state
of Florida. Use that money. Use that money now to
start the messaging. To start the messaging, and you don't
(59:28):
have to do a lot of it. By the way,
one of the things that you could do is that
you can come on to a show like this and
I'm talking to the Florida Republican Party. You can come
on to a show like this that is exposed to
half a million people and come on and talk about
the message. Why are Democrats so bad? Why are Republicans
(59:49):
so good? Why do we need to make sure that
we continue to support the Republican Party of Florida. Why
do we need to continue to do that. You can
simply come on to the show. It's not that difficult.
And at this point, actually I have stopped calling out
to the chairperson, the chairman of the Republican Party of Florida,
because I've met him, seems like a nice guy. Hasn't
(01:00:10):
returned my calls, hasn't ranswered back to my text messages.
So I guess that's the answer that we're getting the
Republican parties. Get your head out of the backside of
your butt and understand you've got to talk to the people.
All right, We got to take a quick break. We'll
be right back. This is the Brian Rush Show. Good morning,
Happy Wiener Wednesday. I forgot that it was Weiener Wednesday
(01:00:31):
until I looked over, and so you guys talking about
hot dogs again, hot dogs.
Speaker 5 (01:00:36):
We'll be right back, all right.
Speaker 4 (01:00:56):
Welcome back to the Brian Rush Show here at Florida
Man Radio and streaming at Rumble. And I thank you
so much for making this part of your day today.
It is a waier Wednesday. Go get itself hot dog.
I did it last week. I ended up getting a
chili cheese dog from Sonic. Oh it was delicious, but man,
it hit me later on. Yeah, too much information, I know,
(01:01:16):
but it was war then that was all right. So
the View Boy, these poor ladies of the View Alyssa
Farah Griffin now facing some renewed attention following President Trump's
successful efforts to secure the release of the remaining hostages
in Israel by the ones that were held by Amas.
(01:01:38):
And she previously had made some statements on the talk
show of The View back in December twenty twenty four
that she would wear a Maga hat and thank the
president on air if he succeeded in freeing the hostages.
Of course, during the episode, which aired shortly after Trump's
election victory before he actually was sworn in, she discussed
(01:01:59):
how she and tended to handle political coverage of the
new administration, and she said, my point when I say
I'm not going to be epileptic, she said, it's not
changing a tune. It's not making every single thing a
five alarm fire. If he does good, if he gets
the Israeli hostages out, I promise I'll wear a Maga
(01:02:20):
hat for one day on the show and say thank
you for doing it. And of course when she said that,
you know, Sonny Hoskins was like, oh please, don't do that.
Oh god, Oh well, I don't think I can sit
next to you.
Speaker 5 (01:02:35):
Well, don't do that.
Speaker 4 (01:02:38):
But now she's gonna have to kind of do that.
Griffin laughed and added that she'll knock it off her
head and you'll have to be able to cheer for
the winds when they happen and call out relentlessly the wrongdoings,
which is true, which is something that the hogs of
the View really truly need to understand. You you need
(01:03:01):
to get out there and you need to start actually
calling out the good and stop being so damn negative. Yeah,
when we were talking about mental health earlier in the show,
I can only imagine the mental health of the View
because of their their trumpt derangement syndrome and just so
how unhappy they are with everything that to mention, can
(01:03:22):
you imagine what that place smells like. I'm just saying
the View, which I'm surprised is still in the air,
I really am. I don't know what Disney's doing. They've
got to they gotta take care of that. What's that
the RNC kept them from cheating the crackling Hyena into power? Mmm? Sorry,
(01:03:54):
I was just reading a bunch of bunch of comments.
I got myself distracted. How you doing. What's going on?
Oh yeah, we're doing a radio show some more of
the left meltdown, by the way, with Donald Trump's basically saying, Okay,
you didn't want to get the government open, We're going
to go ahead and do some stuff, and we're going
to start firing some people that well just don't need
to be there. Trump's shutdown now is targeting the left
(01:04:17):
wing HUD Office, which, by the way, the HUT Office,
which is the office that was trying to basically abolish
the suburbs because they didn't like the suburbs. Oh my god,
we can't get into all those people in the suburbs,
which is kind of funny because that's where all the white,
winey liberal Karens actually are at, is out there in
(01:04:40):
the suburbs. So they should really love it. But when
the government shutdown ends, some of the workers at the
left wing offices in the government may not return. There
are more than four hundred employees at the Department of
Housing and Urban Development, who were issued layoff notices on Friday,
primarily targeting an office, then put the left wing ideology,
(01:05:02):
according to a department official that told The Daily Wire
and said that the federal government has been shut down
for more than two weeks with only essential workers reporting
for duty as Democrats refused to grant a temporary funding
extension unless Republicans add in new funding. Remember the one
point five trillion dollars that they want to add to everything.
(01:05:23):
The Trump administration said in a court filing that some
four thousand workers across seven agencies should be laid off instead,
and the HUT officials said that the largest office targeted
by four hundred and forty two layoffs at the agency
is the Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity Office, which the
officials had said became the tip of the spear for
(01:05:46):
the left wing initiatives under former President Joe Biden. And look,
here's the thing. There are essential employees for certain things,
but if we can do without a whole bunch, the
question should be asked, do we even need this department?
(01:06:06):
And I'm sorry for the people that are losing their
jobs to a degree, I'm sorry, but the government's gotten
too big and we can't continue down this road. We
gotta change. And of course now the groups are trying
to claim civil rights violations and all this suff face it.
(01:06:26):
You're working for essentially a company that is bloated, that
can't afford to pay you anymore. You gotta go. Sorry,
Speaking of going, we gotta take a quick break. We'll
be right back. This is the Brian Rush Show. Good morning,
(01:06:52):
all right, welcome back to the show. Happy Wednesday, Happy
wien Er Wednesday, Hot dog Day, not the other the
other thing to head out of the gutter. Go get
yourself a hot dog today? Do you have some tacos?
Speaker 1 (01:07:05):
Yesterday?
Speaker 4 (01:07:05):
I'm gonna be honest with you.
Speaker 5 (01:07:06):
I did not.
Speaker 4 (01:07:08):
I fully had plans yesterday to go and get to
hang out. See I can't sometimes I just can't type
and do things at the same time. Anyhow, I had
full plans into it yesterday and got distracted by a
bunch of things that were going on yesterday and didn't
(01:07:29):
do it. But did anything even eat yesterday? I had
a flatbread. It's all I had all day along. Yesterday
was just a barber chicken flatbread. So today I guess
I should go get a hot dog. I did it
last week or yet better? Yeah, scirrel, let's just throw
everything off, just go get a taco I don't know. Anyhow,
(01:07:49):
welcome back to the show. Let's get a little off
the rails there. Coming up later on at the top
of the hour, John Tammany is gonna be joining us.
We're gonna be talking with him about some of the
economic aspects of what's going Waffle Wednesday. I could go
with the waffle Wednesday. Waffles. Tell you what. We can
have a sleepover and in the morning I'll make some
waffles and if you know that movie, you and I
(01:08:11):
could be friends. But anyhow, coming off the top of
the hour, we're going to talk about a little bit
of the economy, because remember, according to the left, the
economy is going to be destroyed. It's going to be
over with. Oh my god, what are we going to do?
They got to make comparisons to prior to the Great
Depression and this is what's going on, And oh my god,
I love how the left can do that.
Speaker 5 (01:08:31):
Though.
Speaker 4 (01:08:31):
They can make these comparisons to things in history when
it fits their narrative, but they don't want to compare
it to other things, and learn history when it doesn't
go with their narrative. So yesterday Nancy Pelosi had actually
put down her drink for a couple of minutes and
(01:08:52):
took some time to go on to MSNBC's The Briefing,
and she was talking with Circle Backsak, who had started
off by saying, let me start by asking you you
spent your career fighting for the people in this country,
for the people in your district. I just outlined there
how Trump is basically busy lining his pockets and those
of his billionaire friends, bailing out his buddy in Argentina,
(01:09:16):
where millions of Americans are waiting to see if their
healthcare costs are going to go up, and there are
thousands of tens of thousands of furloughed workers. How does
that split screen sit with you? And Nancy Pelosi came
back with, oh, listen, you gotta see what well. It
doesn't sit well, kind of like this a drink. This
(01:09:39):
is not well. We won in two thousand and six,
and our model was let us have a lot of drink.
Wait what what?
Speaker 3 (01:09:49):
No?
Speaker 4 (01:09:49):
What it was drain the swamp. That we would drain
the swamps kind of like this big tong glasses with gin.
Speaker 5 (01:09:58):
Hey.
Speaker 4 (01:10:03):
Anyhow, she said it's time to drain the swamp again,
and you know he stole that saying from us when
it really wasn't a swamp. But nonetheless, there we are.
By the way, Nancy, do you understand where the whole
swamp reference comes to again, Let's go talk about some history.
(01:10:24):
You know that Washington, d C Was built on a swamp.
DC was all swamp land. Hence the reason for calling
it draining the swamp and calling it the swamp all
the time. It's kind of like when you talk about
Florida Gators, the football team. It's right there at the swamp.
(01:10:50):
That's why they call it that. She's so stupid, but
she added on to it, saying that you wonder why
the American people tolerate a grifter like this one in
the White House, a grifter family. They they put money
into their account and then they say, you can buy chips,
high powered chips from the United States. What I must
(01:11:17):
be too sober to understand what Nancy Pelosi is saying.
But either way, my question on this one would be is,
first of what money is it that the Trump family
is putting into their pockets? What nation, what big companies.
Are they getting special deals? And then the Trump boys
and Donald Trump is putting money, they haven't come up
(01:11:40):
with anything. I mean, granted, Donald Trump has and the
Trump Organization has become successful in a couple of things.
And you know, maybe that is because of the fact
that he's the president. Maybe not, but it's not because
he's cheating the system. Like what was that family? Oh yeah,
the Bidens, that's right. But she goes on to say
(01:12:01):
that we don't agonize, we organize, and that's why we
have to win this election. The best antidote to this
poisonous policies and their poisonous actions is to win and
to win the election, and that's what we intend to do,
and they'll cheat at it. By the way, it just
(01:12:21):
came out. What state was it? Crap? I forgot the state.
It was a big blue state where somebody actually just
came out and basically admitted that yes, illegal aliens can
vote in their state as long as they get a
driver's license, which made me stomp and saying, weren't we
(01:12:41):
told by the Democrats that we don't have anything to
worry about with the illegals voting because well, they can't
vote it's illegal for them to vote, so they can't vote.
And then weren't we told that if illegals get a license,
a driver's license in their state, that there's still not
(01:13:03):
going to be able to vote because it's illegal. But
now we actually have some leaks coming out where people going, well,
you know what, actually, yeah, if an illegal gets a
driver's license, they can vote. The amount of lies that
we get from these people on a regular basis sometimes
it's just it really truly is unreal. And then you've
(01:13:24):
got Zorron Mamadanni. Well, actually, let's talk about this first.
While we're talking about the illegals. The remember this this
thing that came out about how you can you can
basically have on your driver's license no name given. This
is a real thing, by the way, this is a
(01:13:45):
real thing where if you are an illegal alien that
comes into this country or you're here legally and then
you kind of overstay your visa which now makes you illegal,
you can in some blue states actually say when they
ask you, hey, what is your name for your driver's license,
(01:14:06):
and you can go, I don't want to give my
name or no name given, and that is literally the
name that they will put onto your driver's license no
name given. So you now have illegals that are driving
around on our roads in our country, illegally with driver's
(01:14:27):
licenses that say no name given. And ICE has now
nabbed another illegal alien truck driver with a no name
given license. The Immigration and Customs claims that they to
have arrested an illegal alien truck driver who has issued
a commercial driver's license by New York State reading no
name given. And back in September, the Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt,
(01:14:52):
who's a Republican, shared a photo of in New York
State CDL belonging to No Name given, whom he described
as an legal immigrant. Much of the identifying information on
the idea the real Idea was redacted, but instead indicated
that the individual was apprehended as part of an Oklahoma
Highway Patrol's enforcement actions, adding that troopers have captured one
(01:15:15):
hundred and twenty five illegal immigrants, and on Friday, ICE
had announced that it had made an arrest of.
Speaker 5 (01:15:24):
Amnull.
Speaker 4 (01:15:25):
All right, when your first name and your last name
are the same thing, that's a question. He's an allegedly
an illegal alien from India who had been issued a
CDL by New York State and the CDL appeared to
match the one previously posted by the governor and has
both displayed the same issue expiration date. What the hell?
(01:15:51):
What to hell New York, you know, And we just
recently had this issue here in the state of Florida
with the illegal alien truck driver who ended up killing
two people because of his incompetence. And we're going to
allow the IDs to just say, no name given, I mean,
just make something up. Put down John Smith, who cares.
(01:16:16):
But the Left, they again, their thing is protecting the
illegals more than it is protecting the American people, protecting
our streets, making sure that our roads are safe for
our children and for us and our families to be
out driving on and again, I'm gonna make a little
(01:16:37):
bit of a joke on this, but we've seen how
truck drivers drive in India. You're having somebody here illegally
driving like that here. That's a big old problem. But
apparently this illegal alien had unlawfully entered the country back
in twenty twenty three, during the Biden administration's open border crisis.
He was arrested as part of a three day enforcement
(01:16:57):
operation partnership with the Oklahom highwayture and placed in removal proceedings.
Of course, I'm waiting now for the Left to come
out and be like, but he's a married New york Man?
Was that rand Paul wants to cancel real ID. You know,
real ID is kind of a stupid thing. It really
(01:17:19):
truly is. And if you don't know what real idea is,
it's basically it's a new driver's license that has the
little star on it, and it has a little star
to say that you are essentially confirmed you are who
you are, so you and I have to go through
all these hoops to get the get that particular license.
(01:17:41):
When I last renewed my driver's license a few years back,
I had I had to actually go in with proof
of IDA of who I am. So here I am
an American citizen with a driver's license that I've had
since I was like sixteen, going well over thirty in
years of driving, and now I have to to go
(01:18:04):
and renew my driver's license to get a real ID
so that you know, it's confirmed that it's really me,
so that I can do things like fly on airlines,
ride on trains, ride on buses. That's the reason, really
for the real ID, prove that you are who you are,
but you can illegally come into this country, go to
(01:18:26):
a place like New York or California and get a
driver's license and put down no name given. Explain to
me how this works. Explain to me how as an
American citizen born and raised here in this country. I'm
a third generation American. I had to go through all
(01:18:48):
of the hoops when I was fifteen to get my
learner's permit, bringing in the birth certificate and all the
other little things that I had to have, berth Civio,
social Security card, you know, prove that I am who
I am. And then every time that I would move
to a different state, I'd have to kind of do
that same thing. To get the real ID. I had
to break down and go to the driver's license place.
(01:19:10):
And by the way, when I was there as an
American citizen, and I guess this is kind of props
to our local tax collector here that does it. When
I went in, keep in mind, I'm fifty two, I
was fifty, maybe I was fifty when I had to
do this. It was a couple of years ago. I
had to renew it, but I went in with my
(01:19:31):
birth certificate. I have an original, not the original, but
I've got an original copy that came from the clerk's
office in my hometown, and it had the embossed stamp
on it. And when I went in with all of
my ID stuff, with the driver's license that I've already
had issued from the state of Florida, I had that,
(01:19:52):
I had a passport, I had my birth certificate, and
I had a Social Security card, and they almost denied
me my driver's license because they were looking at my
birth certificate and the embossed stamp on it was not
the same one that people get today. They literally passed
(01:20:14):
it around the office to determine whether or not it
was legit. I'm an American citizen born and raised here,
third generation, and I had to sit around there and
wait while I had my driver's license, social Security card,
and a freaking passport issued by the federal government, and
(01:20:37):
they had to pass around my birth certificate to determine
whether or not that was real. Hey, let's look at
the Social Security card. Let's look at the passport with
my freaking photo on it. You want to also see here,
I've got my concealed carry permit another permit that had
been issued by the government that I had to go
(01:20:59):
through background checks in Well this work. Now that won't work.
It's not an official form of ID instead they had.
But you can get illegals who can walk into a
DMV and leave with the driver's license and says no
name given. And now in some of the blue states
they have the ability to vote. Tell me they don't
(01:21:25):
give a rats ass about American citizens. Without telling me
they don't give a rats ass about American citizens. We
got to take a quick break. We'll bright it back,
(01:21:47):
all right, Welcome back to the Brian Rush Show here

Speaker 5 (01:22:29):
So you can go check that out.
Speaker 4 (01:22:30):
So apparently Joe Biden is now ghosting Kamala Harris, But
then again, I mean, let's be fair, let's be honest.
Joe's kind of busy right now. He is busy dealing
with his cancer treatment, which we wish him well hopefully
he gets through that. But Kamala Harris was on MSNBC
(01:22:53):
doing an appearance over the weekend and she was asked
whether or not she has spoken to Joe Biden after
the news that he began radiation treatment for his prostate cancer.
And I know this is a big surprise to everybody,
but she stumbled her way through the awkward exchange that
she had with Eugene Daniels and it kind of went
(01:23:14):
a little bit like this when Daniels asked her have
you talked to him about it?
Speaker 6 (01:23:18):
And she was like, yeah, I no, I call him
earlier and hey, you're doing Joe.
Speaker 4 (01:23:31):
He followed up with, well, how's he doing? And she
comes back with I haven't talked to him. I just
left a message after I heard the news. That says
a lot that the former president of the United States,
your president, that you were the vice president too. You
(01:23:53):
give him a call to give him some well wishing,
and you had to leave him a message and he
hasn't called you back. Well, poor Kamala. Hope she's okay.
You know what, Kamala, here's one for you. It's coffee.
Try it. It might sober you up just a little bit.
(01:24:16):
Do you think she's gonna run for president again? Wouldn't
that be something to see Kamala Harris jumping in once again?
She did jump out of the California race, which right
now I wouldn't be the least been surprised if if
she's not regretting that, and if other Democrats are not
regretting that too, considering little miss Porter, the one that
(01:24:39):
is running right now, Oh that that has turned into
that has turned into one hell of a mess. What's
her name, Kimberly Porter? Is that her name? The former congresswoman?
Do I get out of my shot? You're in my shot,
get out of it. Good thing it wasn't Kamala, because
she'd be like, shots, Well did you tell me we
(01:25:03):
were doing shots? Why didn't you come on, bitch, get
me some shots. And she's just an overall and just
nasty person. And you know, sadly though, she's probably going
to end up being the next governor of California. But
you know that at this point, Kamala is probably just
kind of going, oh God, why why didn't I? I
(01:25:25):
could have actually probably won this thing. It could have
been the governor of California, but not. So we'll see
if she she jumps into that race later on for
the presidency. But I don't think I don't think she's
got I don't think she's got She's such a dim wit. Hey,
that's an insult to dim wits. Be very careful. You
just can't say that. What's that? You can now have
(01:25:49):
your pronoun on your driver Where do they allow that?
I'm sorry, the pronoun on your driver's license that is
that is also a no bueno I identify as road rage?
That would that would be my my pronoun on my
driver's license. And god, they got to get over the
(01:26:11):
whole pronoun thing. I hope this is the next thing
that actually fades away, and it is nice to see
that some of this crazy leftist stuff is fading away
with some people that are finally coming to their senses.
But the pronoun thing, that's that's the one thing that
trust I What was that? Actually just doing something the
other day where I had to put in a pronoun
(01:26:32):
and I'm like, I don't want to put a pronoun
in here, and I had to. I was filling out
some forms for something and I had to put in
a pronoun there was and it was an online form,
so there was no getting around it. I had to
put something in there, and it did because of the
fact that I'm such a smart ass. It had your
typical him, her, his, you know, all the other stuff
(01:26:56):
that was in there, and then they had one that
said other. And I looked at that form for a
couple of minutes with my anger building a little bit
about the fact that I actually have to put a
pronoun in here, and I thought about it. I'm like, okay,
I can't you have to pick one, which is odd
because we always see that the pronouns there are multiple.
You can be a him, her, he, uh them, they
(01:27:20):
and I looked at it and I'm like, well, since
I can only pick one, do I want my pronoun
to be him? Do I want it to be he?
Do I want it to be his? I couldn't figure
it out. And then I looked at it, and when
I saw the other, and I was like, Oh, I
got this one. Hang on, click other daddy.
Speaker 5 (01:27:42):
I kid you not.
Speaker 4 (01:27:43):
That's what I put down. I put down my pronoun
as daddy. Now, if I get a phone call from
these people and I answer the phone and they say, yes, Hi,
is this Brian, and I'll be like, yes it is,
and they'll be like, is it okay? If we use
if we address to your pro you can call me
(01:28:03):
daddy all day?
Speaker 1 (01:28:04):
Do it.
Speaker 4 (01:28:06):
I'm sorry, I've got a warped, retarded sense of humor.
This is the things that make me laugh. Hang on,
we'll be right back.
Speaker 2 (01:28:20):
Brian Rousse's name, you know the brand lining up the
airways in this one melting snow face with the fiery
half talking truth. You can't always stands fast to show

Speaker 4 (01:29:56):
All right, welcome back to our number three of the show.
Good morning, and thank you so much for being part
of the day today with us. I want to welcome
to the show first time author of the book Deficit Delusion,
Why Everything Left Right and Supply Side tells you about
the national debt is wrong? John Tammany, Good morning, John,
How are you.
Speaker 7 (01:30:16):
I'm great, Thanks so much for having me on.
Speaker 4 (01:30:18):
Absolutely, thanks so much for coming on. Who do appreciate it.
You know, economy is something that is a very important
thing for us to discuss it, especially with right now
with the shutdown of our government and the impacts that
that's going to happen, and we've seen a lot of
things with the stock market. Obviously, Friday was an interesting
day with the stock market. And we've heard, you know,
(01:30:41):
back in the last administration, all the success that they
did and the success that Donald Trump did, and there's
interesting things about the stock market. But I want to
know what is your book all about.
Speaker 7 (01:30:51):
My book just makes a case that I can borrow
more in my fifties than I could when I was
twenty one, and that describes most people. And the reason
I can is because I've got better prospects in my fifties,
earnings prospects than I did when I was twenty one.
Businesses are no different, and Vidia twenty five years ago
(01:31:12):
couldn't borrow a cent. Today it can borrow in the
billions with ease because its future is seen to be
very bright. Governments are no different. A government that takes
in enormous amounts of tax revenue and it's also expected
to take in exponentially more in the future can borrow
with ease. And so the point of the book is
(01:31:34):
to remind people that we have all this debt not
because we're not taking in enough tax revenue, not because
of overspending although the spending is way too much, but
because the markets trust our future so much that they're
very eager to lend to us. And so I'm trying
to make a case we've got to greatly shrink the
flow of dollars into Washington if we ever want to
(01:31:57):
reduce the deficit. It's countering intuitive, it's paradoxical, but I
think it's true just the same.
Speaker 4 (01:32:04):
Yeah, well, even with legitimate reasons for wanting to do it.
I think most Americans want to reduce the cash flow
of going into Washington to begin with. So I mean,
we might all be in an agreeance there, it's just
a matter of the reason why. One of the things
that I want to talk about a little bit, because
we've been watching the left, you know, obviously slam on
Donald Trump talking about how all the things he's going
(01:32:25):
to do for the economy is going to destroy the economy,
The terrorists are going to destroy things, Everything is going
to be bad. There was a sixty minutes interview recently
where they were comparing Trump's economy to the nineteen twenty
nine stock crash. How realistic is all of this this
hoopla that we hear about how bad Donald Trump is
(01:32:46):
for the economy.
Speaker 7 (01:32:48):
Well, there's truth and there's untruth. Look, any if any
president could destroy the US economy, then it wouldn't be
that great of an economy in the first place. And
we know that it's the blooming this economy in the world.
A bad economic day in the US is an amazing
economic day anywhere else. And so I don't like it
(01:33:09):
when either side says this person's going to destroy us.
Oh good luck. Americans are incredibly resilient, that are incredibly enterprising.
No one man or woman could do that to us.
I will say. It goes back to Adam Smith's pin
factory that he visited in the eighteenth century. The more
people working together in the pin factory, one man working
(01:33:32):
alone could produce one pin. Eight men working together could
produce tens of thousands of pins a day. The more
that we can divide up work with the rest of
the world, the more productive we are. It's that basic
Henry Ford that was his insight into cars for everyone,
was that if he could make it so that every
person in this factory could do one thing and do
it really well, productivity would soar. And so in my
(01:33:56):
perfect world, Trump's negotiation would be Hey, look, we're going
to zero on tariffs. You can either follow us or
you can fall further behind us by keeping your tariffs up.
I'd rather that have been as negotiation, but he's president
and I'm not.
Speaker 4 (01:34:12):
Yeah, and you bring up a very good point that
you know, it's not necessarily the one person. Even though
we saw a lot of bad things that that Joe
Biden's administration did, we also did see the stock market
do pretty good under Joe Biden, even though there's a
lot of economic things that were you know, some big problems.
But let's talk about the stocks. You know, how does
(01:34:34):
the stock market reflect the the the actual economy because
you know, again like we saw under biden administration, stock
market did well, but we saw you know, forty year
high inflation with high prices on things. So how does
all of that work together?
Speaker 7 (01:34:50):
Well, stock market never is a look at the president.
It's a look in at the future. And so a
rising stock market reveals optimism about how things are going
to be in the future. And so you know, look,
Biden could not restrain the American engine. Neither could Barack Obama.
The stock market did well under him, and so when
(01:35:14):
you look at it, right now, people say, well, this
looks like nineteen twenty nine. Well, nothing looks like nineteen
twenty nine, simply because stocks don't just crash. It doesn't
just oh well one day, oh it's overvalued one day.
Stocks are a reflection of investors saying, oh, this is
what the future will be. And so in nineteen twenty nine,
(01:35:34):
what happened was that all of a sudden it became
apparent that Herbert Hoover was going to sign the Smooth
Holly Tariff in nineteen thirty. This was a tariff that
raised taxes on twenty thousand different foreign goods coming into
the United States, and it assured retaliation from the rest
of the world. Well, markets don't wait to price in
(01:35:56):
the future. They anticipate the future. They knew that Hoover
was going to see it, so they correct it ahead
of time. And so I think that's why you've seen
a lot of volatility right now. President Trump wants tariffs,
but does he really want it or does he want
other countries to bring their tariffs down. There's also the
(01:36:17):
question will the courts allow it? You know, historically, what
does the Constitution say? It's very explicit. Congress has the
power of the purse. Can a president impose tariffs which
are a revenue generating mechanism in the first place, It's possible.
The markets, in all their optimism right now, are priced
in a possibility that I think Trump would actually secretly
like that. They're going to say he can't impose these
(01:36:40):
we have to send these tariffs to Congress, at which
point they're going to be delayed for a variety of reasons.
To talk to Arthur Laffer, who knows Trump well, he said,
Trump actually believes in zero tariffs. That's his end game,
and so he might actually like this scenario.
Speaker 4 (01:36:56):
That's interesting with Donald Trump. There always seems to be
an end game that he hasn't shown his hand on,
and maybe maybe that is the the end game that
he has to to be able to get that back
in there and to do the zero tiariffs. I mean,
he's a business guy. He gets it, and you know,
he's negotiated with a lot of things around the world,
even in his first administration that we a lot of
(01:37:18):
of which we didn't even know about unless you were
really truly paying attention. But let's talk a little bit
about the national debt and how all of this you know,
also plays their national debt. I mean, we're knocking on
the doors of thirty eight trillion dollars. You know that
the Democrats want to add another one point five trillion
into our spending. We're two trillion in a deficit already.
(01:37:40):
What what is What is your thoughts and opinions on
the current state of our national debt?
Speaker 7 (01:37:47):
Well, my thought and opinion is that why do we
keep focusing on the debt? Not that it doesn't matter,
but I think the more crucial focus is to say, boy,
a government can run up thirty eight trillion in debt,
must be taken in enormous amounts of tax revenue right now,
and it must be expected to take in exponentially more
(01:38:10):
in the future, hence all the debt. And so my
thing is people keep saying, well, the crisis is in
the future, when markets say hey, no more borrowing, and
I'm thinking, well, how could that be a crisis? The
markets might restrain treasury from borrowing. To me, the crisis
is right now, but you can't see it. How many Amazons,
(01:38:31):
how many facebooks, how many Googles, how many Exxon Mobiles,
how many great companies are not being formed because the
federal government is such a size taker of precious resources
from the private economy. To me, that's the much bigger crisis.
But we can't know the innovations not happening. These government
gets so much money from the private sector every year.
(01:38:55):
To me, the much bigger crisis beyond that is that
people say, well, the grand children will inherit lots of debt.
We see the markets keep telling us that debt will
be paid off easily, which the bigger scandal for the
grandchildren as they're going to inherit a massive government that
they have to keep feeding. We keep focusing on the debt.
I don't understand that, hence the book.
Speaker 4 (01:39:16):
Yeah, you know, I think a lot of people focus
on the debt, and I know that I focus on
the debt too, because you know, we don't want to
be spending a trillion dollars a year plus just in
the interest payments alone, and we want our government to
shrink down. Do you think there will be any shrinking
of the government. I mean, obviously that's a mission that
Donald Trump is on right now to shrink that size
(01:39:36):
of the government. But would it be how bad of
a thing would it be for us to really eliminate
our national debt.
Speaker 7 (01:39:44):
Well, two things. I argue in the book that all
the interests paid on the debt is a good thing.
And let me explain why I'm not defending it. I'm
not defending the size of government. But if you can
give me a choice between the government spending a trillion
a year paying off interest or bringing up new programs
or adding to the existing programs, I'll take the interest
(01:40:04):
payments any day of the week. To me, the interest
payments are a barrier to the growth of government because
we're just having to pay off debt rather than come
up with new ideas. And so that's the first thing
I would say that that's probably a good thing. Now,
spending cuts. I've always talked about spending cuts. But what happened.
(01:40:25):
Let's say if doge had worked and so we got
two trillion in savings. Does anyone seriously think that if so,
Congress would have just burned up the money or given
it back to us. Now, Congress would have come up
with all new ways to spend it. And so I
argue in the book that spending cuts will do nothing
to achieve smaller government. That if you really want to
(01:40:45):
achieve smaller government. There's only one way to do it.
It's to limit the flow of dollars in there. In
the first place. Politicians exist to spend, doesn't matter which
party they exist to spend. That are able to spend
even more through borrowing if markets trust that revenues will
keep going up. It's just like any business. If the
business is expected to keep growing, it's going to be
(01:41:05):
able to borrow more. If it's not, it won't be
able to borrow. Our government is expected to grow, it's
expected to get more revenues. Hence it can borrow a
great deal. Let's reduce that revenue flow all the while
allowing the existing spending. Just let it consume the budget.
We don't want them to come up with new ways
to spend it. Medicare began as a three billion dollar program,
(01:41:27):
now it's one trillion dollar. Let's not give them the
fresh powder to come up with new ideas.
Speaker 5 (01:41:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:41:33):
Yeah, the less that they're in Washington, the less ideas
they have come up with, and the less damage that
they can do. So yeah, the idea of reducing the
government is a great thing, and I think a lot
of us still want to see that deficit get reduced.
But interesting concept, a little bit different thinking than I
think a lot of people are thinking about when it
comes to the national debt, which again is a big thing,
(01:41:57):
and a lot of people think it's a big I mean,
I kind of think it's a problem. I'd like to
see that go away, get it under control. But is
there real danger to our future or does everything just
kind of look like it's it's pretty good?
Speaker 7 (01:42:13):
Well, paradoxically, all the debt is the market's way of
saying that the US's future is amazing. To be clear,
I'm not saying that debt improves our economy by definition,
it does not. It weakens it. But Russia's how much
Russia's got three hundred billion in dead can you imagine?
I mean, that's just a rounding era for US. That's
(01:42:35):
the market's way of saying they don't trust Russia's economic
future at all. Haiti's got seven billion in debt. That's
the market's saying they've got no economic future.
Speaker 5 (01:42:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:42:45):
The fact that we've got thirty seven thirty eight trillion
is it's the global economy's way of saying, Wow, the
US is booming now, but in the future it's really
going to be booming. And that's that's one of the themes
of my book. As I'm saying, guys, here's our chance.
Right now, social Security, Medicare, and interest payments are taking
(01:43:05):
up the vast majority of government spending. Let them gobble
it up and then they'll have a discussion. Right now,
how do we get taxes down so low that revenues
actually decline in declining, make it so that lenders around
the world don't want to lend to us as readily.
(01:43:25):
Here's our chance to do it. Because if you have
me on in ten years and we keep collecting all
these taxes, particularly from rich Americans, you watch the deficit
will be much much larger, and borrowing costs and the
government will be exponentially larger. We've got to shrink the
flow of dollars into Washington. And for decades we've seen
(01:43:46):
neither party willing to do this.
Speaker 4 (01:43:49):
Yeah, that is true, and I don't think there's a
there's very many in my audience at least that is
not willing to reduce our taxes and stop sending the
money up that way. And maybe that's the solution. I mean,
the whole debt and credit thing is it's such a
confusing thing where it's like, you know, if you don't
have any debt, you can't get any credit, and if
(01:44:11):
you don't have any credit, you can't get any debt.
Is it's a bizarre thing, But I like your concept.
It's definitely thinking outside of the box a little bit
compared to what we normally see. And you don't hear
too many people talk about, you know, going down that
particular road.
Speaker 7 (01:44:27):
Yeah, well, when you think about it, it's quite simple.
The more we as individuals earn, the more we can borrow.
The more a business earns, the more it can borrow. Government.
Our federal government has got taxable access to the most
productive people on earth. Is it any surprise that can
borrow a lot? And so the focus has got to
be on reducing its taxable access to literally turn the
(01:44:51):
Laffer curve on its head. For too long, Republicans have said,
we're going to raise your taxes by lowering them. The
Laugher curve is empirically true, but think about what that means.
A government that is seen to be taking in more
and more tax revenue is logically able to borrow exponentially more.
We've got to reduce the flow. And I've never seen
(01:45:13):
my argument before. That's why I wrote the book. I
was tired of hearing from left right, center supply side
libertarians that the way to fix the debt is to
get more money into Washington. I think the very notion
is laughable. By giving politicians more money, they'll shrink the debt.
They never have and they never will.
Speaker 4 (01:45:32):
Yeah, they're so irresponsible. I mean, I understand the concept
of if we were to get more money in there,
we could pay down the debt. But the problem is,
it's like it's like giving a crackhead, you know, money
and then sending him to a crack store and thinking
that he's not going to buy more crack. You know,
it's it's just not going to work. And our government
they've got to learn how to control their spending. And
(01:45:53):
maybe if we cut off the funds a little bit more,
maybe that will control things. A little interesting concept on that, John,
The book again is called deficit delusion. Why everything left
right in supply side tells you about the national debt
is wrong? John? Where can they get the book?
Speaker 7 (01:46:11):
Amazon? Hopefully bookstores too, but buy lots of copies, give
them out to friends, you know all that?
Speaker 5 (01:46:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:46:17):
Absolutely, John, Where can people find more information about you.
Speaker 7 (01:46:21):
I'm editor of Realclearmarkets dot com, so you can see
columns by me every day, and then you can find
me on Twitter things like that. But I'm very active.
I write more than anyone and I usually put out
a book a year. So this is my latest.
Speaker 4 (01:46:35):
Well awesome, Well go grab that book. The deficit Delusions.
Very interesting concept. It's outside of the norm, outside of
the box, and I think maybe some people should look
into that and the idea again of cutting down the
amount of money that we give them for allowance. Maybe
that will help control things. John Tammany, Political economy editor
(01:46:56):
at at Forbes, senior economic advisor at the Tree or
Research and Trading, and of course editor at realclear Markets
dot com and author of that book. Thanks so much
for coming on, John. We do appreciate it.
Speaker 7 (01:47:08):
Thanks for having me. Brian, I really appreciate it.
Speaker 4 (01:47:10):
Absolutely, have a fantastic day. Interesting concept, thinking outside of
the box. A little bit on that.
Speaker 5 (01:47:16):
Will that work?
Speaker 4 (01:47:17):
I don't know, but I mean I think the bottom
line that I think we understand is that government has
got to stop spending so much damn money. That is
the bottom line, all right. We got to take a
quick break. We'll be right back. This is the Brian
Rush Show. Good morning, all right, welcome back to the
(01:47:41):
Brian Rush Show. Big thanks once again to John Tammany
the book again the deficit Delusions. Interesting concept and of
course the idea that you need to have more debt
in order to get credit, which that's a concept that
is always kind of just scratched a little bit like okay,
(01:48:02):
but yes, the reducing the cash flow to the government,
maybe that is the solution. But the problem with that
is this, they're the ones who decide how much we
got to send to them, and what's that The problem
is not on the revenue side of the spend suspending side,
need to cut the size of the government scorched earth, Jeff,
(01:48:25):
I can't agree with you more. And it's one of
these things where in John's concept I totally get it
and I agree with it that if we give them less,
then that would be less money that they would be
willing to give to us. I mean, if you look
at how you are successful in life, if you get
(01:48:45):
to a point where you have and of course in
order to get credit, you have to have debt, which
to me makes no sense, Like if I'm going to
give you some money. I want to make sure that
you're able to pay off the debt and that you
don't have that you don't owe a lot of people money.
I want to make sure that when I give you
twenty bucks, you're gonna give you twenty bucks back, and
then you don't already owe two hundred dollars. I want
(01:49:06):
to make sure on that. It's concept for that I've
always kind of, you know, thought about. But yeah, it
is not the revenue side. It is the spending side.
And they the amount of revenue is ridiculous, and there
is more revenue that's coming in too, especially with the
tariff situation that is going on. But we've got to
get the government to stop the spending. That's where it is.
(01:49:31):
And with John's concept, you know, it would obviously reduce
the amount of credit that we would get where we
would be able to go and borrow more money, which
would be a great thing for us to stop borrowing.
But if we strength to size the government, stop the
spending and stop all this this stupid stuff. And that's
(01:49:53):
the biggest problem is the stupid stuff. We saw what
Doge did, and unfortunately, I think the the entire effort
that was done with Doge to expose all of the waste,
fraud and abuse has really gone to nothing. I mean,
when you look at what's going on in Congress right now,
they have essentially dismissed everything that Doze pointed out. We're
(01:50:18):
still we the people are still upset about the Doze stuff.
You don't hear much about the Doge. You don't hear
about reminding our politicians of the money that was spent. Instead,
they're carrying on us if nothing happened. It's not a
big deal. We got all this money coming in so
we can spend more money. Stop giving them money, Stop
(01:50:40):
giving them the money, and we need to crack down
on our government. Crack down on this this wasteful spending.
You know, right now the left and I love this,
the hypocrisy. They're throwing their temper tantrum over the situation
with the twenty billion dollars going to Argentina, which by
the way, was not alone. It was not a grant
(01:51:02):
that was given to them. It was some sort of
a deal where we basically did a currency swap for
their their paysos for the American dollar, because the American
dollar is better than the paysos. So we got twenty
million dollars worth of paysos. They got twenty million dollars
(01:51:22):
worth of US dollars, which the dollar is worth more
than the payso, so it makes sense. But the Left saying,
oh my god, Donald Jump is doing that. He's given
them billions of dollars. Well, you guys spent more than
twenty billion dollars on one project that never happened. I
mean the trillions of dollars a year that they spend
(01:51:45):
on things that don't need to have money. So yes,
shrinking the government and stopping their spending has got to
be a priority. And that's the message we need to
send to government, stop wasting our money. And it's not
one of these things that we could just say to
him one time. We have to make that abundantly clear
to Washington, stop wasting money. All Right, we got to
(01:52:08):
take a break for our bottom of the hour here
on the show. Don't forget to check us out at
the Brian Rushshow dot com at his official website. We
do appreciate you checking this out today and making us part.
Speaker 5 (01:52:17):
Of your day.
Speaker 4 (01:52:18):
We'll be right back, all right, Welcome back to the
Brian Rush Show. Happy Wiener Wednesday. Go get yourself a
hot dog or a wiener whatever.
Speaker 5 (01:52:40):
I'm not.
Speaker 4 (01:52:42):
I'm sorry, there's something wrong with me. There really is, anyhow,
Welcome back to the show. Thanks for listening to us
here at Florida Man Radio and Rumbleandwimkin dot com, where
we are doing the video stream. Should you feel the
need to torture yourself watching this hot mess? Today we
got some breaking news, absolute absolute breaking news that is
(01:53:05):
going on. Yes, we got the breaking news. Los Angeles
has just declared a state of emergency over the federal
ice raids. Wow, you know it's bad? Do you know
it's bad?
Speaker 3 (01:53:19):
When?
Speaker 2 (01:53:20):
When?
Speaker 4 (01:53:20):
When we've got to have a state of emergency because
of the federal ice raids And Brian cressenstein Stein whatever
the hell's name is, I really don't care, uh posted
about this? When to say think about that? The country
is literally, the county is literally declaring an emergency over
(01:53:41):
what the federal government is doing. This is Trump's America.
Oh my god, the horror, I mean, wow, the President
of the United States is stepping in and coming after
all of the violent illegal criminals that are here in
our country because the local government won't do it to
(01:54:02):
keep the local people safe. And oh, it's so bad.
We have to have a state of emergency over the
fact that the federal government is coming in just to
save the people. Oh what will we do? Gosh, I
feel so horrible. I feel so bad. If just big,
(01:54:23):
bad evil Donald Trump would just stop going in there
and trying to make these blue cities safer. You see,
here's the problem. Donald Trump is destroying their narrative. He
is destroying their fear mongering, and they don't like it.
So they're stepping it up on their fear mongering a
(01:54:43):
little bit to protect their fear mongering. Because remember, democrats
can't rule or govern. I go with rule over ideas
and solutions. Instead, everything has got to be control and fear.
We're going to scare you to the point that you
have to understand we've got to control you to reduce
(01:55:06):
your fear. And now, because of the fact that crime,
which is a scary thing, Donald Trump is coming in
and trying to reduce it, which makes people scared when
there's crime. And then we can't have fear over you
and control over you because you're no longer afraid of
(01:55:28):
the crime. So therefore we have to make it that
Donald Trump is coming in and it's a state of emergency. Everybody,
state of emergency that we've got to file that right
now because Donald Trump is coming in and taking out criminals.
I mean, it would be so, and a declaration allows
them to access females funds. Probably not, that's gonna be
(01:55:48):
one of those things they're going to go.
Speaker 5 (01:55:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:55:50):
No, I mean, a local government can declare an emergency,
but federal government also has to declare the emergency in
order for FEMA funds to come in. That's the way
that goes. If if the state declares a federal emergency
in say Tallahassee or Panama City or Orlando or whatever,
then then the city would be able to get state funds.
(01:56:13):
But just because the County of Los Angeles declares an emergency,
that doesn't mean that they get femal funds or any
sort of federal funding. It's just a bunch of words.
It's a bunch of words, and fear mongering is all
it is. But imagine that of all the things that
you could be doing to declare an emergency on like, oh,
(01:56:35):
I don't know, three quarters of the damp cities on
fire again, that would be declaring an emergency. That's a
real emergency. There was a massive earthquake that has collapsed
the highway system and collapse buildings and schools on top
of people, and the streets have caved in and there's
now gas lines on fire and people that are missing. Sure,
that's declared an emergency. But the idea that the federal
(01:56:58):
government has come in to remove criminals, that's not an emergency.
It should never be an emergency. I mean, it shouldn't
have to be a thing to begin with. But they're
doing it. Just so sad living in that state, Ricky,
I don't know how you do it, Ricky, who watches
(01:57:20):
the show on Wimken, I don't know how you live
over there. And I know a few people over that
and I just I don't get how they live there.
I really don't. So Mark Hamill, you know, Luke, this
dude has gone Craig Cray, like the force is no
longer with him. If it has, it's a demented force.
(01:57:43):
And Mark Hamill ended up sharing a hoax that occupied
Democrats have shared their new meme. And by the way,
have you seen like some of the pictures of Mark Hamill,
like in this story. I had to save the picture
just because of the crazy eyes. You can tell when
you look at some of these crazy eyes of these people,
they're they're nuts. Like there's too many people at home upstairs,
(01:58:05):
I think, is what's going on with some of these people.
But the deal that he he ended up sharing, and
as they have been calling him a rabidly anti Trump individual,
he jumped to his social media to push out the
wild conspiracy that Donald Trump led the Middle East peace
deal was somehow stolen from Joe Biden. Yes, Hamill had
(01:58:30):
shared the meme on Blue Sky yesterday in the effort
to help take credit away from President Trump, and the
actor endorsed the meme with the caption this. The meme
claims that Joe Biden had actually created the peace deal
Trump is now being hailed for, and it adds that
Net and Yahoo secretly met with Trump at mar A
(01:58:53):
Lago and the two concocted a pack to block Biden's
supposed peace deal so that they could war, and months
later they signed the Act, the exact deal that Biden
had broken. And don't be fooled. Of course, this meme
comes on the heels of the posts from people like
(01:59:15):
Anthony Blincoln. KI, everybody, I'm Anthony Blinkn. And during my
time with the Biden administration, I was saving the world.
I was the most effective Secretary of State ever. Everybody,
my name is Anthony Blinkn. And you can tell how
successful I was by all of the wars that I
was constantly having to go to, all the conflicts that
(01:59:36):
I had to go to to negotiate for the peace
deals that I never ended up getting. But it was
Donald Trump that stole my ideas. He stole my ideas,
and he's trying to claim that they're his. You know,
if Anthony Blincoln was so damn good, why is it
that we had all the conflicts that we had throughout
the four years? Why is it that if Joe Biden
(01:59:57):
was so good, why didn't this this deal that that
Donald Trump has stolen from him? Why didn't it work?
So maybe you're a little bit wrong on that one.
You think just a little and you weren't a hundred
percent accurate, do you do? You think maybe just a
little bit. But I love how even with something that
(02:00:21):
that people like Hillary Clinton, and this should be the
wake up call to all the Democrats. All the Democrats
would turn around and go, Holy sh did Hillary Clinton
just congratulate Donald Trump on doing something? I mean even
Hillary Clinton didn't come out and go that wasn't him,
that was Joe Biden. Joe Biden did that. Donald Trump's
(02:00:43):
just taking credit did Why did it take so long?
Why wasn't Biden able to end it? Why was it
that the the conflict in Gaza started to begin with?
And it's art because of the fact that you have
groups like Harmas that knew what's the what's America gonna do? Like,
(02:01:11):
what's America really gonna do? And we saw that with
other terrorist groups too. America is not gonna do anything.
They're weak because of Joe Biden. Oh, donald Trump's in office.
Donald Trump will do something and he did so. If
Anthony Blinking and Joe Biden was so great, why didn't
(02:01:34):
they get it done? And honestly, that's what the Democrats
should ask. If your plan was so good, why didn't
you get it done? Why did it take Joe Biden
or Donald Trump to do it? And again, even if
let's just say this just for the sake of the argument,
the plan that Donald Trump used, which we all know
(02:01:54):
is not Joe Biden's. But let's just say he used
Joe Biden's plan literally just picked it up and went, Okay,
what are we gonna do?
Speaker 5 (02:02:02):
All right?
Speaker 4 (02:02:03):
Page one, we do this, Page two, we do that.
Page three, what are we doing on page three?
Speaker 5 (02:02:09):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (02:02:09):
Page three, we get more more of the capitalism going
going to rebuild the area and make it nicer, because
that's something Democrats say. Let's just say that that was
the case. Why couldn't Anthony Lincoln and Joe Biden get
it done? I mean, why don't you just give the
(02:02:34):
man credit for getting it done even if it was
Joe Biden's plan. Just come out and say, hey, yeah,
it was Joe Biden's plan, but you know, thank you
Donald Trump for getting the plan executed and getting it done.
Speaker 5 (02:02:50):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (02:02:52):
It's all you gotta do. Instead, they come out and
like it wasn't even his idea. It wasn't his idea,
but he got it done, right, Yeah, But but it
was it was Biden's plan, Biden's planned that he couldn't
get done but Donald Trump did. Was that Biden slept
(02:03:16):
on the imported Gaza strip sand when he peacefully dreamt
about plans that when he was taking his afternoon naps. Yeah,
I mean, the left is just so upset because once
again Donald Trump has been successful at something and they
don't know how to handle that type of thing. They
(02:03:38):
just they don't get it at all. So in the
city of Boston, which by the way, is such a
peaceful place and there's nothing wrong, nothing going on whatsoever,
there was a large scale vehicle takeover that happened in
that Democrat controlled city of Boston, and it reportedly ended
with things being a police cars getting destroyed and burnt
(02:04:02):
up in a what's being called as a hell bent
attack on law enforcement. Michelle wou Are you proud of
your city? Are you? There was more than one hundred
people that were involved in these street takeover that included
racing vehicles and trying to attack police cruisers with fireworks
along with cones, poles and among other things. It all
(02:04:25):
happened about two o'clock in the morning about a week ago,
and Larry Cardone, who's the president of the Boston Police
Patrolman's Association, had told Fox News that the people involved
in the street takeover were hell bent on attacking officers.
This is what the Democrats encourage. They encouraged the attacking
of police officers, and he said that they knew what
(02:04:49):
they were going to do, and they were hell bent
on attacking police officers. But that is not an everyday occurrence.
And he said what happened last weekend got out of
control when it went through four different communities and ended
up here at a couple of locations in Boston. And
each location they went to in this past incident, it
(02:05:09):
appears as the as though they got more aggressive, and
this is the time of behavior that the Democrats encourage.
And in the end, this behavior of going off and
doing this street takeover ended up with the aggression towards
the Boston police and burning and destroying one of their
police cars. But to remember, Michelle Wou tells you that
(02:05:33):
there's nothing to worry about. Everything is just fine. Everything's fine,
nothing nothing to see here, We're all good. I don't
know how anybody would want to live in a blue city.
I really don't. It's it's an absolute mess. And of
course the propaganda that we continue to see, just the
hate filled propaganda. This this other person that I follow
(02:05:57):
on social media. She ended up posting that this is
why MAGA or why Trump and Maga hate AOC. She
is strong, intelligent, light brown skinned Latina who actually serves
the people. Now, I'll get into what it was that
AOC pointed out there. But actually serves the people really
(02:06:20):
like when she actively got in front of the deal
with Amazon to open up a headquarters in her district
that was going to bring thousands of jobs and billions
of dollars in tax revenue and she screwed that up.
So is this the same AOC we're talking about? Just checking?
(02:06:42):
But AOC had made a post and said, when my
dad died when I was eighteen, my mom scrubbed toilets
and drove school buses. I bartend to help her and
still won a congressional primary at twenty eight I'll take
my family over a fat bank account any day, and
my experience makes me a better legislator. I am the
(02:07:05):
people I work for. Now, that was a good post.
It was full of the crap that her mom scrubbed
off the toilets, and you won the congression of the
primary because you did the casting couch, and that's what
it was. And you want to talk about how you
will take your family over a fat bank account any day.
(02:07:29):
Can we talk about your bank account, AOC. Just inquiring
minds want to know how you became so wealthy at
just one hundred and seventy four thousand dollars a year.
Inquiring minds want to know. We'll be right back.
Speaker 2 (02:07:47):
Oh that's right.
Speaker 4 (02:07:58):
All right, Welcome back to the Brian Rush here at
Florida Man Radio. Alan, good question. Wonder if AOC was
actually good at bartender? You know what, I don't think
that's something that has ever been brought up, like were
you a good bartender? And yes, that is like her
way of serving the people was when she was a bartender,
she served them.
Speaker 5 (02:08:19):
But I wonder if she.
Speaker 4 (02:08:20):
Was any good. Now I'm curious. Now I want to
go to DC and just be like, hey, AOC, can
you make me a good rum runner?
Speaker 7 (02:08:30):
Can you?
Speaker 4 (02:08:31):
Can you do one of those? But you know what
I mentioned, she was one of those bartenders where she
literally just did beer, like you know, one of those
you have no real good cocktails. It was just it
was either beer or shot and that was it. And
we know that she danced on tables pretty good because
(02:08:51):
we've seen the videos on that and I used that
term kind of loosely. But I don't know if anybody
saw this. And this is another thing now that the
that the left is jumping on. There was a political
article that has now exposed some leaked text messages that
came from a Young Republicans group, and it was again
(02:09:12):
just a couple of individuals. It was not everybody, it
was not all of them, where there was some disturbing
messages in there, and one of them had said that
I love Hitler. Now I have not seen all of
the text messages, and there's a good chance that there's
some context in it. But you know what, let's just
give the benefit of the doubt on this one that yes,
(02:09:33):
there were some young Republicans who ended up saying that
I love Hitler. Okay, that's a couple of individuals, a
couple of individuals that I think the rest of the
party does not agree with. David ho comes out and says,
if you don't want people call it to call you Nazis,
(02:09:55):
stop saying Nazi stuff. Just a thought. Well, first off,
you call everybody a Nanzi, you call Donald Trump a Nazi?
And Hitler? Where is Donald Trump done things that were
Hitler like Nazi like? He hasn't? And again, the left
(02:10:16):
is gonna take the few people that ended up saying
something stupid like these young Republicans did. And now they're
gonna go after and bash all young Republicans and you watch,
it's gonna be another tool that they're gonna use to
target some of the gen Z because remember the left
has lost a lot of the gen Z male and
(02:10:39):
some women too, but mostly the gen Z men had
left the Democrat Party and have come over to the
other side. They're gonna start saying, do you want to
be associated with the people who who support Hitler? That's
say that they love Hitler. Look at the things that
these young Republicans are saying. Do you want to be
associated with those young Republicans? You watch, it's gonna be
(02:10:59):
the next one one of the things that they're gonna
come out with because the Left is they're evil. I mean,
straight up, they are just evil, no disturbing, it's deadly.
The only bartender who never served anyone and threw a
fit if you were asked for ice. Well, by the way,
(02:11:21):
have you seen that there's actually a push now to
remove ice from drinks and to not allow people to
ask for ice in their drinks in restaurants because of
the fact that ice stands for or immigration and Customs
(02:11:42):
enforcement is short with ice. So we don't want to
have ice in the drinks because it's gonna be offensive
to people when a waitress or a bartender or waiter says,
would you like ice in your drink? So we don't
want to say that anymore. So we're not gonna do that.
You can't use that word the hell you can. I
(02:12:03):
want a glass of sweet tea, and yes I want
ic in it. I well lots of ic in it,
because I want.
Speaker 5 (02:12:08):
It to be cold.
Speaker 4 (02:12:11):
The ridiculousness that the left just comes up with on
a regular basis, it hurts my head, it really does.
And of course the continuous push now for the framing
of the government shutdown to be based on Donald Trump
and the Republicans. Adam Schiff now coming out saying that
(02:12:31):
Donald Trump has been firing people who protect your health, safety,
and pocketbook and who are keeping our country safe. The
shutdown is just his latest excuse for these purges. So
now all of a sudden, that Donald Trump has done
this shutdown, now we want to talk about the people
(02:12:54):
that protect our health and safety. Was it get a
grip jerks exactly? Adams shift Man that dude, he is
something else. I every time I watch him, I just
I get these violent rages. I want to, like, grab
(02:13:15):
him by his throat, But the problem is that his
throat is so long that I'm not sure where where
to grab.
Speaker 5 (02:13:22):
Do you do?
Speaker 4 (02:13:23):
Two hands in the front? Do you do like a
how do you do that if you were to, if
you had to go out there? And just how just
curious the things I think about. I shouldn't say that,
because then the left will be like, see, he's got
these violent threats. We should take him off the air,
cancel culture him. You know what, I sleep without any
(02:13:44):
pants on, you know I In case you come in,
you can kiss it right there. We gotta go have
yourself a fantastic ween or Wednesday, go get yourself a
hot dog. We'll see you tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (02:13:53):
Bye bye,
