Speaker 8 (01:41):
All right, good morning and welcome to the show. Happy Thursday, boy.
We got a show today and we got a lot
to talk about today. Also coming up later on in
our number three of the show. Uh, this will be
an interesting interview because you know how I have been
about the Republican Party as a whole. But in Hourever

(02:02):
three today we do have the Florida Republican Party Chairman
Evan Power, is going to be joining us. We're gonna
chat with him about some of the things that the
Republican Party is doing here in Florida. Of course, there
is a very important election that is coming up next year,
that being the governor's race here in the state of Florida.
And this is one that I have said this over

(02:24):
and over again. It has that potential for the Republicans
to lose. And I know that so many people have said,
but Brian, how is that even possible when you have
like two million more Republicans than you do Democrats. It's easy.
Republicans don't get out and vote. Democrats do. And there's

(02:44):
also the incredible push to get Florida back by the Democrats.
And while they don't have much money right now, they
really don't. It doesn't matter.

Speaker 9 (02:56):
You are right over there. You're not going to throw
up in the studio. Sorry, Charlie is in studio with me.

Speaker 8 (03:03):
Okay, do not throw up in here that that is
gonna be that that will get you booted out.

Speaker 9 (03:10):
Okay, just relax like Gubble breaths. There, you go, all right,
what were we saying?

Speaker 10 (03:15):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (03:15):
Yeah, so within the Democrats they do stand a chance.

Speaker 9 (03:20):
I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 8 (03:21):
I'm gonna tell you that they do actually stand a
chance of actually winning the governor's race here in the
state of Florida. And even though people will have questioned
me on that and said, how is that even possible?
But you have to remember that they are the masters
of propaganda. They are the masters at getting their base
out to vote. They do it, and they do it well.

(03:44):
So it'll be interesting to hear from Evan, who, by
the way, is the new fairly new chairman of the
Florida Party, has been there for about a year, shoes
something like that. So what he's gonna plan, how he's
gonna go about it.

Speaker 9 (03:59):
That's that.

Speaker 8 (04:00):
That's what we're gonna chat with him about and so
much more, and and maybe even get some of his
thoughts about the national Party as well, because look, the Democrats,
they've got the ability to do it. H with the Democrats,
they can't win. Don't say they can't win. You can't
say they can't win because when you look at at
who they have as a as a as a candidate,

(04:24):
the David Jolly. David Jolly, while yes he's a Democrat
now was a Republican kind of the chameleon back and
forth and everything. He still does have that ability to
cross the line and grab the Republicans that may be
upset with some things. And they're keeping this in mind

(04:44):
as well, that we have to remember this in Florida,
that while Florida has turned into a pretty deep red
state by the numbers, you have to remember who the
new Republicans are here in the state of Florida. And
of these new Republicans that have come to the state
of Florida are people that have come from New York City,

(05:05):
that have come from California, that have come from areas
where they have been bombarded by the Democrat message for
so long.

Speaker 9 (05:13):
And they may not be as strong.

Speaker 8 (05:17):
Of Republicans as we are on this side, and they
may be more apt to go, well, you know what,
maybe they got a point.

Speaker 9 (05:27):
You have to keep that in mind.

Speaker 8 (05:28):
So once that the Dems are arrogant and fall for
the propaganda, and they do, and that's the problem. You know,
we have the few people that are that are kind
of at this point running essentially running potentially running for
the Florida governor's race. I mean, obviously there's Byron Donald's
very well spoken people. They they've they've got an understanding

(05:52):
of what needs to be done here in Florida.

Speaker 9 (05:54):
But it's all in.

Speaker 8 (05:55):
How you get that message out and get it to
the people and then turn that all around into getting
the people to get out and vote. And let's just
face it, we got to face fact. And this is
how we have to win. By facing fact. We have
to face our own our own problems that we have,
and that is getting people out to vote. The Republican

(06:19):
Party has got to start treating the early elections, the
early in person elections. None of this mail in crap,
but the early in person elections. They have got to
treat it as the first day of that is the
only day that you can vote. It is so important
for you to get out on that first date. Okay,
you didn't get out today, you got to get out
today second day and then.

Speaker 9 (06:40):
For those who didn't not to mention.

Speaker 8 (06:43):
And we've talked about this before in the show, and
to be honest with you don't remember who it was
that actually brought this up. But when it comes to
the elections. Each of the parties. They do a lot
of the robo calls. They do a lot of just
phone calls out there, they get voter information and a
lot of this costs money. And what they will do

(07:05):
is they will take on the first day of early
voting and the second day, third day, and they take
all these days and they will look and say, okay,
who went and voted. Okay, so we crossed them off,
cross them off.

Speaker 9 (07:19):
Why haven't these people voted? All right, let's give them
a call.

Speaker 8 (07:22):
And they will call them, they'll text message them, they'll
email them, Hey, get out and vote.

Speaker 9 (07:26):
Don't forget you got to vote. It's his own important.
You got to vote.

Speaker 8 (07:29):
And then they don't vote, and then they do it again,
and they do it again, and they do it again,
and then finally it's election day and they're out there going, hey,
you got to get out and vote. If you don't vote,
we can lose. And that costs money to do, not
to mention, it puts a risk of actually losing because
you didn't get out and vote. And that is one

(07:51):
of the worst things about Republicans is that we have
this tendency to things that election day is the day
that we should vote like Democrats. They don't ever say this,
Only Republicans do. That we should have a national day
of for elections, that it's a national holiday and that's
the day that everybody goes and votes. That would be

(08:14):
an absolute disaster if we didn't have early voting and
that we had a one day for everybody to go vote.

Speaker 9 (08:21):
It's a national holiday.

Speaker 8 (08:22):
We close the banks, we close everything else, and we
all go and vote. Nobody is going to stand in
those lines. Republicans will not stand in those lines to vote.
The Democrats they'll show up with a tent and you know,
door dash all night long just to be able to vote.
Republicans won't. Republicans will roll up to the polling locations

(08:45):
and go too long of a line. Nope, I got
other stuff to do. And this is why it's so
important to get out and vote earlier. But well, we'll
talk with Evan about that later on in the show.
Also yesterday, and of course the left kind of enjoyed
this one, and people made more of a big deal
out of it than it actually really truly was. But

(09:07):
Pete heggsass airplane that he was flying in as he
was coming back from the NATO meeting yesterday ended up
declaring an emergency and having to turn around and go
back to the UK and do an emergency landing at
one of the military bases there. Now, this is one
of the things too, when it comes to emergency landings
with airplanes and the media, they kind of height it

(09:28):
up more than they actually should have as well. Not
everything that an airplane declares as an emergency is a
catastrophic thing. It's not one of these things where, oh
my god, it's going to be the worst thing in
the world. What had happened with the Pete haegsas the
airplane is that one of the windshields had developed a crack.

(09:49):
So because of that it had potential of decompression issues,
which if you do you want to know how bad
decompression stuff is. And we see the media talk about
this too, where we've had a few airplanes that have
had some decompression issues and the airplane falls out of
the sky.

Speaker 9 (10:08):
It nos dive down out of the sky and it
was chaotic.

Speaker 8 (10:11):
Well, the reason for that is because you have seconds
to live if you don't get oxygen, Like seriously, it's
about ten seconds or so, ten to fifteen seconds or
so before you're gonna pass right out. This is the
reason for why they say that when those masks drop,
that you secure your mask as quickly as possible and
then help the other people. So when an airplane does

(10:34):
do that, what they will do is they will they
will do an emergency descent down to ten thousand feet
where there is breathable oxygen so that way everybody can breathe.
That's why the airplanes will do that when they have
one of those situations where a decompression, and we've heard
of those. We've had a couple of over in the
past couple of years that have happened. Now with Pete's plane,

(10:55):
the reports are that there was a crack in the windshield. Now,
a crack in the windshield can turn turn into something
that is catastrophic. But you have to understand how thick
those windshields are, and it's not one layer of glass.
There are multiple layers of glass that are built into
all of these windshields. So for one crack to form

(11:15):
is not necessarily the worst thing in the world. But
when you're a couple hundred miles over the ocean and
then starts to form, yeah, the first thing that you're
gonna do is declare an emergency, turn around, and get
back on the ground as quickly as you can, so
that it doesn't turn into a catastrophe, it doesn't turn
into a major decompression situation, it doesn't turn into a

(11:38):
windshield blowing out, which nowadays is a very difficult thing
for an airliner to do. Because of the quality of
how they're built and designed, they don't generally blow out.
I mean, they can actually shatter into a gazillion pieces,
but will still stay intact because again there's multiple layers.

(11:58):
It's one of those things that that people just don't
understand sometimes when a plane declares an emergency. Here's another thing.
An airplane can fly in one engine for a very
long time. So when an airliner loses power in an
engine or loses an engine completely and it doesn't produce
any thrust, they're going to declare an emergency so that

(12:20):
they can get back down on the ground. And the
purpose for that is that so that they clear the airspace,
they clear that plane to land first or as quickly
as possible, so that you don't say, okay, well you're
gonna be like number five in line. No, because the
other five in front of you are fine, they're flying Okay,
you got to get that plane on the ground. So
that's why an emergency is declared. So every time that

(12:42):
a plane does, declare an emergency, and I can tell
you right now working in aviation, that's what I do
in my full time the airport here in Bay County.
We have emergency landings all the time and you probably
have no idea that it happens. It happens on almost

(13:04):
a regular basis. I get notifications of it every time
that there is one, and sometimes there's two a day.
Sometimes there can be three a day. Sometimes they'll go
a week or two without anything and then you get.

Speaker 9 (13:19):
Then you get a couple of them again.

Speaker 8 (13:21):
And sometimes it's one of those engines, rough passengers not
feeling good. There's an indicator that's indicating something that's funky.
You know, it's not always a tragedy thing.

Speaker 9 (13:33):
But you know, the left, they.

Speaker 8 (13:36):
Then in the mainstream media, they like to make a
big deal out of that. All Right, we got a
lot more to talk about this morning. More district judges
jumping in and trying to show their butt. We'll talk
about that coming up. Plus members of the Pentagon Press
Pool act like a bunch of children, and so on.
Some of the Democrats. We'll talk about all that coming
up a little bit. First, we got to take a
quick break. We'll be right back. This is the Brian

(13:57):
Rush Show. Good morning, Happy Thursday. All right, Welcome back
to the Brian Rush Show here at Florida Man radioh know,
this trusts me crazy every time on Facebook when you

(14:20):
go to to actually type something in and you type
a word and it can be like the most random
ass word that you would not think would actually trigger something,
and it ends up being like the word to another page,
whether it be a page you're following or somebody you
follow or whatever, and you don't pay attention to it
really quickly, and it's like, oh wait a second, it

(14:41):
throws in a link.

Speaker 9 (14:42):
Facebook. Can you stop that.

Speaker 8 (14:43):
Not every single word in the dictionary is going to
link to somebody else's page. If I want a link
to their page, I'll link it. Just ask it for
a friend. Anyhow, welcome back to the show. Thanks so
much for getting your day going with us today. We
appreciate it. Of course, hopefully you got your knock it
off coffee to get your day going. I just realize
I'm getting down to that point. It's almost time to
order some new coffee. And as many flavors as there

(15:07):
are in the Knock It Off Coffee, I'm hooked on
that whiskey aged barrel one.

Speaker 9 (15:11):
And Deed Boy who watches the show.

Speaker 8 (15:14):
Up in I Leave Pennsylvania on Rumble, has also got
the the whiskey aged barrel flavor and has told me
a few ways of making it even better with a
nice good slow brew on that rather than doing like
the little cured cup things and you know, things like
adding a little bit of cinnamon to it. It just

(15:35):
spot on. So I may have to order some more
of it just to try it. But you can try
to Knock it Off. Dot Coffee is the website, and
there is pumpkin spice too, by the way, for those
that are into the pumpkin spice this time of the year,
there is a pumpkin spice that is in there. But
the whiskey age barrel is that number one selling one
right now, so you can go check that out. And

(15:56):
it also does help sponsor the show to keep the
show going. Anybody see Nancy Pelosi yesterday, Oh this was great.
Nancy Pelosi man, she's losing her mind.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
Uh.

Speaker 8 (16:08):
There was a reporter that came up in and wanted
to ask her some questions, and this was the exchange.

Speaker 6 (16:14):
Why did you refuse the National Guard on January sixth?

Speaker 11 (16:18):
Thank you?

Speaker 12 (16:19):
Shut up?

Speaker 9 (16:20):
I did not refuse the National Guard. The President didn't
send it.

Speaker 13 (16:23):
Why are you coming here with Republican talking points as
if you're a serious journal The American people want to know.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
Shut up, shut up, Cuia.

Speaker 8 (16:33):
Why are you asking them a stupid a question to
come to the tie of punts?

Speaker 9 (16:37):
And I didn't refuse the National Guard. Hey, Nancy, do
you remember the video?

Speaker 8 (16:43):
Just curious if you remember the video, the one where
you're in the car on January sixth and you're talking
about the National Guard and how you you should have
had it and it's all your fault. It wasn't one
of those things where Donald Jump. Didn't this all been
Donald Trump offered it to you. You and the mayor

(17:04):
of Washington d C. Turned it down. You didn't want it?

Speaker 9 (17:08):
Why? Because I think you had a little bit of
a plan going on.

Speaker 8 (17:12):
But the fact that she snapped at the reporter like that,
Nancy Pelosi is getting a little grouchy. Uh, say, E Francisco,
I'm just gonna throw this out here. It's time for
somebody new. Okay, let's just go with somebody new over.
You know, I really wish for those that you're watching
on Rumblin Wimkin right now, I had a Charlie cam

(17:34):
so that I could throw it on Charlie right now
as he's I don't know what the hell he's doing this.

Speaker 9 (17:38):
Are you okay? Dude?

Speaker 8 (17:40):
He is like he's he's betting studio guests now, which
is very unusual. He's never really done this. He will
sit in the studio prior to the show starting, but
he's like doing acrobatic spins and things in this little time.
I don't know how he's doing this. I really don't.
It's very impressive. It's distracting as all hell though, and
now locking himself okay, and we digress. But anyhow, San franciscoing,

(18:04):
it's time for you to definitely get somebody new into
your representation because Nancy Pelosi, she's a dingbat losing it,
and it's time for you to get somebody.

Speaker 9 (18:15):
Younger, somebody that's a little bit with it and do it.

Speaker 8 (18:20):
What's that The January sixth movie extravaganza.

Speaker 9 (18:23):
All lies.

Speaker 8 (18:26):
I mean, everything that you get out of the Democrats
when it comes to January sixth is nothing but a
bunch of lies.

Speaker 9 (18:32):
It really truly is.

Speaker 8 (18:33):
And we've all, I don't know if we all, but
I have seen and we've all had the opportunity to
see a lot of.

Speaker 9 (18:40):
The unseen video from January sixth.

Speaker 8 (18:44):
And how almost every video that I have seen has
one hundred percent countered what it was that the Democrats
were saying actually happened on January sixth.

Speaker 9 (18:56):
You remember the who was it?

Speaker 4 (18:58):
It was?

Speaker 9 (18:59):
I forget the senator.

Speaker 8 (19:01):
There was one of the senators of Republican Centers that
the commission or the committee or whatever the hell they
were was was calling a coward for running. Let me
let me show you this beautiful bean footage up here.
You see that, Oh my god, you see him run
across the hallway like a coward. And that's what they did.
Like you mean to tell me that you guys didn't
see the entire video. You didn't because it was like

(19:23):
two seconds of it and nobody in that committee thought,
you know, hey, maybe I should.

Speaker 9 (19:29):
Is there any more to that video? What else? What's before?
What's after?

Speaker 8 (19:31):
It because if you watched the before it, just a
couple of seconds before it, it was all of the
Democrats being escorted out by the Capitol Police, and then
this particular senator, the Republican senator, was just catching up
to him, and he's the coward because he was catching
up to the others as the Capitol Police was evacuating

(19:52):
the elected officials out of the place.

Speaker 9 (19:54):
There you go, There you go. The amount of lies
that they got busted.

Speaker 8 (20:00):
And the sad part about it too, is is how
we have not covered it enough and there hasn't been
enough in it to expose it. And this is the
stuff again that the Republican Party fails on. The Republican
Party should have been doing the the the comparison videos
of here's the January sixth Committee calling a member of

(20:21):
the Republican Party at coward for running across the hallway.

Speaker 9 (20:25):
But here's what actually happened. Oh look, there goes everybody else.
I think it was Jim Jordan actually, and then there
he goes huh, some coward, huh telling you the Republican
Party they need some better people doing their their messaging
because they're gonna lose if they don't if they don't

(20:46):
get it a little bit better with that, all right,
We got to take a break for the bottom of
the hour here, don't forget. You can check out the
showt Rumble dot Comwimken dot com, and of course right
here on Florida man Radio and you can listen to
us in the Florida Man Radio app. We got to
take a break for the bottom of the hour. Be
right back, all right, Welcome.

Speaker 8 (21:13):
Back to the Brian Rush Show here in the Florida
man or Radio Network and of course streaming a Rumble
in Wimkin too. Thanks for making us part of your day.
So coming up on Saturday, No King's Rally and they're
gonna plan a whole bunch of them too.

Speaker 9 (21:32):
I just I can't wait.

Speaker 8 (21:33):
However, when it comes to the No King's rallies, which
I'm still trying to figure out how this all works,
because if we don't actually have a king, what the
hell are you rallying about? But whatever, you know, guys,
get out, get some fresh air for a change. That'll
be a good thing. But they are scheduled to be
all over the place. In fact, there are places like

(21:56):
Connecticut where there's like forty something of them planned across
the state of Connecticut, and the state of Connecticut is
not even big enough for them to even happen, it really,
is it. But here in the in the Florida area,
especially the area the Florida Man Radio Network. Let me
see how many are planned in this particular area. There's one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen.

(22:24):
There's about fourteen fifteen of them, sixteen of them, looks
like in the greater area of the Florida Man Radio alone,
across the northern section of the state of Florida. And yeah,
even here in Panama City they got another one.

Speaker 9 (22:39):
They're gonna do it up in the Hathaway Bridge.

Speaker 8 (22:42):
But you know what, I gotta say this, though, at
least in the last time when and I'm only saying
this for the one here in Panama City, when they
did it on the Hathaway Bridge, at least they stayed
out of the damn road, you know. But then again,
here in Florida, I think even even the dumb Democrats
here in the state of Florida understand that the idea
of getting off and protesting in the middle of the
road is not a good idea, because you remember what

(23:04):
Ronda Santis reminded us of that we have the right
to run them over if they are threatening us. I mean,
you can just drive into a crowd of them. So
if you see a crowd of them somewhere, you can't
just be like, we're gonna boo. You can't do that.
That's illegal. You can't go off and do that. That's

(23:24):
that's that's gonna get you some in hot water. But
if you happen to be driving down the road and
they start getting violent on you, like slamming on your car,
threatening you, try to pull you out, speed Bump City, USA.
But the no thrones, no crowns, no kings, they're gonna
be doing their big uprising coming up on Saturday. And

(23:44):
I say uprising because there are people now like Robert
de Niro and even Chuck Schumer who is coming out
and basically saying, you know, we we had an uprising
and making the comparison to the Civil War, and people
like Robert Tanaro is actually calling for civil war for

(24:06):
violent uprising.

Speaker 9 (24:08):
Dude, That's not how we do things here in America.

Speaker 8 (24:12):
First and foremost, Second, do you understand who it is
that the no King's people would be going up against.
Do you understand that? Do you understand that we are
the people that carry weapons, We are the people that
own many weapons. As a matter of fact, yesterday when
I was driving down the street, I was listening to

(24:32):
the news or a talk show or something on the radio,
and the conversation came up again about California banning block guns.
I was passing a gun store and I almost the
only reason why I did it was because I was hungry.
I wanted to get something to eat, but I almost
stopped in to buy a glock just because the fact
that California banned it. So, the No Kings people, you

(24:56):
do have to understand who it is that you would
be going up against if you decided you want to
do some sort of a civil war, which, first off,
a civil war is not a good idea. It's not
going to produce the results that you think it's going
to produce. It's not gonna all of a sudden eliminate
the MAGA people. It's not gonna change Donald Trump being
the president of the United States. You're just gonna get

(25:19):
yourself and your friends very badly hurt, if not worse.
So protest all you want, because I support your right
to protest. If you want to get out there and
say that Donald Trump is doing this and I disagree
with him on that, fine. The only problem is this, though,

(25:39):
is that you get out there and you protest Donald
Trump and you go off and you're like, Donald Trump
is a king. All right, give me an example. Hang on,
let me, let me, let me get some fresh paper here,
let me readjust myself in the in the seat so
I can I can get these examples, because this has
gotta be bad. This has gotta be bad. Okay, what

(26:02):
do you got? You got anything?

Speaker 9 (26:08):
Donald Tough hurts my feelings, hurt my feelings. What else
you got?

Speaker 8 (26:19):
He's trying to be a king? How by taking away
my rights? Which rights is he taking away? He's taking
them all away?

Speaker 9 (26:31):
Okay, has no effing clue. All right, what else you got?
You got nothing?

Speaker 8 (26:39):
And again, I totally support people's rights to protest against
the government as one of our constitutional rights to do it,
but at least have an understanding of what the heck
it is you're complaining about.

Speaker 10 (26:55):
That.

Speaker 8 (26:55):
Dannara wasn't acting whenever he played al Pacino in The Untouchables.
He was he was still acting al Pacino is is
a gigantic p he really truly is anybody. I could
probably have your sister walk up to Robert de Niro
and just put a finger on his forehead and go nope,

(27:17):
and then push him down and he would probably land
on the ground and he would cry like a little bitch.
Robert de Naro is not tough at all. I mean
he comes at us all the time with that tough
Italian guy. E hey, it's Robert Dennaro over he you
know I'm a tough guy. He played a gangs through
the movie. Yeah, I've got no other skills that I
could do anything, but hey, hey, I could act like

(27:37):
I'm a tough guy over here. I can guarantee you
that you could walk up and again, you can have
your little sister or your little daughter or granddaughter or
somebody walk up to Robert Deannio and they're probably both
about the same height and just put a finger on
his forehead and just push and he will fall down
and then cry like a little baby that he is.
He's not tough at all. So it makes me laugh

(28:00):
every time that I watch him come out and try
and act like this, because again, he has no idea.
It's like you want to ask him, what, what's what's
the reason?

Speaker 10 (28:11):
Why?

Speaker 9 (28:11):
Why are why are you guys doing this.

Speaker 4 (28:16):
Lines?

Speaker 9 (28:16):
Please give me, give me, give me the script. Where's
the script? Hang on? Okay, Okay, I got it, I
got it, I got it. Okay. Donald Trump is a king.
He thinks he's a king.

Speaker 8 (28:32):
He thinks he's a dictator, and we have to stop
him from doing the dictator in king stuff.

Speaker 9 (28:37):
Again. What is he doing?

Speaker 3 (28:38):
Uh?

Speaker 9 (28:39):
He's he he wants to be a king.

Speaker 8 (28:42):
Yeah, just like you wish you had an actual that
was a little bit bigger than two inches. But we
know that's not the truth either. So let's move on,
shall we. But the fact that there are some of
these Republicans or these Democrats that are out there that
are trying to trying to to encourage the violence. Just

(29:03):
keep this in mind, Robbie Denaro there that if somebody
does decide that they want to get violent, and you
are on camera telling people to ump rise violently, that
your happy ass can be charged for that, for inciting violence,
then we'll see how tough it is when you're locked

(29:24):
up in jail and this big guy comes up alongside
of you and goes, hey, Bobby, guess what you're gonna be.

Speaker 9 (29:33):
Yeah, you're about the right height. Go for it. Sorry,
I'm on a roll today.

Speaker 8 (29:40):
Not bad speaking of people like Robert Denaro, the press pool,
anybody see this one. Pete Hegseth has basically told the
media that covers the Pentagon that there's going to be
no more freely roaming around the building and being able
to do whatever you want to do. There's no more

(30:01):
of the going around, uh, and just do whatever you
want to do, go into whatever room you want to go.
You're going to be now confined to the press area
and to the public areas, and that is it. So
what ends up happening yesterday is that the media, the
pull media, and not all of them, but most of them,
decided that they were going to perform a walkout from

(30:23):
the Pentagon.

Speaker 9 (30:27):
Again.

Speaker 8 (30:28):
Let me let me ask you this question because I'm
trying to clarify what you're doing. The head of the
Department of War, the head of Pentagon, tells you, the
press media, that you are no longer allowed to freely
roam the building and just talk to whoever you want
and do whatever you want. You're now confined to the
press area and the public areas, and you protest by.

Speaker 9 (30:51):
Doing a walkout.

Speaker 8 (30:55):
So when you do your walkout, you're not covering the
Pentagon and you're not doing stories on the Pentagon. Do
you even remotely think that you got to Pete Heggseth
on that one? Do you think that Pete Hegseth.

Speaker 9 (31:10):
Is gonna go? Oh no?

Speaker 8 (31:12):
After I restricted the media from being able to have
free access to ruam around all over the place and
just told them they got to stay in the press area.

Speaker 9 (31:18):
In the public area, not in the top secret area.

Speaker 8 (31:20):
That Oh my god, Now they're gonna walk out and
they're not gonna report at all.

Speaker 9 (31:24):
Oh no, Woe is me?

Speaker 8 (31:25):
What are we gonna do? What is wrong with today's media?
Like today's quote unquote journalists, which I don't even want
to call them that anymore. I just want to call
them camera queens, because that's about all they are.

Speaker 9 (31:39):
Am I on camera? Does my hair look good? By
the way, I did get a haircut yesterday. That's all
they want. They just want that camera time so that
they could be like, I'm on camera. Hang on a.

Speaker 8 (31:50):
Second, let me put this on my instat Oh my god,
Buck that's their call. Click, that's all they are. That's
all the media is nowadays. Nobody's out there talking to
the true.

Speaker 9 (32:00):
Truth and everything.

Speaker 8 (32:00):
And then they try to be like these activists again,
you were restricted and you decide to walk out, who
the hell cares by. As a matter of fact, if
you want to leave your press pass at the desk there,
you could.

Speaker 9 (32:14):
Do that too, get out of here.

Speaker 8 (32:16):
And then we have the idiots in the Democrat party
who decided because one of the things that we've been
watching is some of the Democrats now doing videos, including
fart Boy he does this too, where they're walking around
the halls of Congress looking for the Republicans. The Republicans
aren't working. They've abandoned you. It's horrible. You can't find

(32:37):
them anywhere. And one of the things that they did
the other day was they decided that they were going
to storm the Speaker's office. How mature of you is that?

Speaker 9 (32:49):
Huh?

Speaker 8 (32:50):
You're an elected official and you decide to storm the
office of the Speaker of the House. And by the way,
in the process, they assaulted one of the Capitol Police members. Now,
if memory sherves me correct, I'm pretty sure that the
the Maga people that stormed January sixth and where the

(33:14):
insurrectionists and look what they did to the police. They
assaulted the police. That's the worst thing in the world.
But didn't you guys just assault a Capitol police member
when you were going to basically bum rush the Speaker's
office out of your absolute level of immaturity. And one

(33:35):
of the things that they're upset about is the fact
that Speaker Johnson has not sworn in the new Arizona
Democrat congresswoman and Speaker Johnson has talked about this and
he said, and this is another thing that that sucks,
because what goes around comes around. Nancy Pelosi when she

(34:00):
was a Speaker of the House, there was another special
election that happened and there was a Republican that won
that special election got the seat, and Nancy Pelosi said, Okay,
when we go back into regular session, meaning the Congress
is in session and then they're doing their thing, we
will swear you in. Nancy Pelosi did that. That has

(34:25):
been a long standing policy. It's been what the Congress does.
They wait until there is an actual active session going
on of Congress for them to do that type of stuff.
So Speaker Johnson said yes, as soon as the regular
session resumes, AKA, when you guys open up the government,
I will swear her in.

Speaker 9 (34:46):
And until then, we're not doing it.

Speaker 8 (34:50):
And they're throwing a fit and acting as if Speaker
Johnson is the big monster for not doing it, and
even she's thrown her temper tan from about it. It's like,
get over it. Nancy Pelosi did the same thing. Speakers
before her did the same thing. It is a procedure
that they do, and it's just what it is. Don't

(35:11):
expect to Speaker Johnson to do something different because you're
a Democrat and you demand it. See, this level of
entitlement that the Democrats have in themselves is ridiculous and
it's time for somebody to.

Speaker 9 (35:22):
Put them in check. And I think we need to
do that.

Speaker 8 (35:25):
That's why we need to make sure that they don't
get elected in big numbers and teach them the lesson
that they're not in charge. And when you're not in charge,
you don't get to make these demands. Chuck Schumer throwing
his temper tantrum.

Speaker 9 (35:42):
That's all this.

Speaker 8 (35:42):
Entire thing is with the shutdown. This is a Chuck
Schumer temper tantrum. It's not because of the fen that, oh,
we're not going to have healthcare. I mean, there may
be some problems coming up, maybe maybe not. But he's
throwing this temper tantrum because he's not getting his way.
We the people have told them. Look, Doge gave us

(36:03):
these reports. We want that wasteful spending to stop. We
want spending to stop as a general whole. And you
won't do it. You want another one point five trillion
dollars added.

Speaker 9 (36:13):
Stop it. Oh, by the way, is that AOC coming
up behind you?

Speaker 4 (36:16):
What?

Speaker 9 (36:17):
Sorry, Chuck? It means to scare you like that.

Speaker 8 (36:21):
It's a temper tantrum from him because he's afraid he's
gonna lose his seat and he's gonna lose his power.
And you know, this is another reason for why people
should not stay in Washington, d C. For so long,
because the longer that they stay there, the more power
that they get, and the more that they just get corrupt. Now.
I understand that there is a certain procedure and term

(36:44):
limits to a degree. I think, shah, there's a plus
de minus to the whole term limit thing. But when
you are a junior member of Congress, you're still learning
a lot of things, and it takes you a little
while before you get up to a level of leadership.
But I don't think and this is where again, if
there's anywhere that I think that there should be term limits,

(37:07):
it's in the leadership roles. Let you build yourself up
to a leadership role, you know, when you're either the
speaker or the minority leader, or you know, you're the
whip or whatever it might be, getting up into that point.
Because there's several layers of leadership that you're only allowed
to be in that leadership for one term, two term,
and then that's it. You got to go no more

(37:29):
of that. You go back to just being a regular
congress person or go home and do something else. But
that I think is where the term limits really truly
need to be because you get people like Chuck Schumer
who's been in this power position for a couple of decades,
and he thinks he's a king. He thinks that he

(37:49):
can go to the President of the United States and
tell him what to do, even though he's not the
party in power. That is where you have a problem
with our federal government and that needs to change. We
gotta take a quick break, run a little bit late.
We'll be right back. This is the Brian Rust Show.
Good Morning, Happy Thursday, making liberals cry, one happy show

(38:23):
at a time.

Speaker 9 (38:24):
This is the Brian Rust Show. All right, welcome back
to the show. Good morning.

Speaker 8 (38:29):
Coming up, our number three of the show, the Florida
Republican Party chairman Evan Power is gonna be joining us.
We're gonna chat with him about a lot of stuff.
I hope he's prepared. I hope he's prepared. I'm gonna
be nice to him.

Speaker 9 (38:42):
I am.

Speaker 8 (38:43):
But we do have a lot of tough questions that
we we got to get.

Speaker 9 (38:46):
Some answers to.

Speaker 8 (38:46):
We'll get We'll get some of his thoughts on that
coming up later on in the show. In the meantime,
I got a kick out of this one, Harry Sisson's
latest post and in the way that he responded to this,
because apparently, and this is the other thing that makes
me laugh.

Speaker 9 (39:00):
Apparently right now, one of the trending.

Speaker 8 (39:03):
Posts in the political realm on x is deeport Harry Sisson.

Speaker 9 (39:11):
I love it. I think that is funny.

Speaker 8 (39:14):
And of course Harry Sisson responds with so deeport Harry
Sisson is now trending number one on this app I
am an American citizen by birth. I am also more
American than any of these maga freaks who support the
traders Fellon in the Oval Office. Oh good slim at
back there, Harry good one. I mean, to be perfectly

(39:36):
honest with you. I wouldn't mind if if Harry went
back to one of the countries that he also has
citizenship in. Harry Sisson actually has citizenship in multiple countries.
He should go back to one of them. I love
it when this kid, who he's only been in this
country for maybe ten years, roughly ten years U. I

(40:01):
don't know if he was born in Singapore or if
he was born in it was either, to be honestly,
I don't remember because I'm not all brushed up in
all my harrysists on background. But it was either Singapore, Singapore,
Ireland or Scotland or Dubai like one of those. That
is because his daddy is a rich, rich guy. He's

(40:22):
a He's like, this is some big finance guy. So
they lived all around the world, and he was born
outside of the United States, and he didn't come back
to the or come to the United States until about
roughly ten years ago. And every time that I watched
this kid get out there and bash on America, it
makes me want to bash on him, and not verbally,

(40:44):
but for him to come out and say, I'm also
more American than any of these maga freaks who support
the tradition, the tradus tradious. The Donald Trump trying to
say is laughable. We've been here all of our lives.
I was born and raised in this country. I remember

(41:05):
what this country was like when it was great. I
remember before all of this this political wokeness was shoved
down our throat. I remember when we used to be
able to have conversations with Democrats and not hate each other.
I remember when Democrats had a point. I may have
disagreed with them, but at least they had a point,

(41:27):
and you can understand where.

Speaker 9 (41:28):
They were coming from.

Speaker 8 (41:30):
Today, Oh, I don't know what the hell democrats are
standing for other than I want.

Speaker 9 (41:36):
To be able to cut off my wee wei and
I want to.

Speaker 8 (41:38):
Be a girl. I gotta be a girl. I mean,
they're just you want to call us freaks the freaks? Really,
truly are these liberal progressives that are in this country
that want to fundamentally change the country to be this
utopian thing that we learned about in school and then
that we read in these books. Well, there's a few

(42:00):
the books that you guys need to read. They're called
history books. And all of the stuff that you guys
were learning about this utopian world is wrong. It doesn't work,
it doesn't exist. And the whole socialist idea is a
failure around the world. Not to mention in some of
these places where you can be the socialist, you go

(42:21):
ahead and try and say and do some of the
things that the democrats do today. Oh, I can tell
you this much, your life won't be so great. We
gotta take a break for the top of the hour.
We'll be right back.

Speaker 9 (42:31):
Good morning, Brian, most name you know the brand.

Speaker 2 (42:43):
Line up the airways in this one melting Snowface were
the fiery head talking truth.

Speaker 3 (42:54):
You can't always stand fast, don't.

Speaker 4 (43:02):
Show from coast to coast.

Speaker 1 (43:05):
Got the facts, but it ain't no boast.

Speaker 5 (43:07):
Can't give off the chains and give it a toast
to the man who roasts the moods.

Speaker 1 (43:12):
Knock it off.

Speaker 7 (43:13):
It's rust on me, burning rayelack care of scenes, did
you mind? No, don't bad frame in the top show
silver screen.

Speaker 4 (43:30):
The first words that sparked the flames.

Speaker 6 (43:34):
Nothing never stays the same, breaking down walls of shame.

Speaker 4 (43:40):
Ryan rust is here a claim.

Speaker 7 (43:42):
Voices, rise of thing and so true, the sensor to
the court, ploiticians, cheap the score of Bryan's battling in
this war.

Speaker 1 (43:53):
Knock it off, it's rust.

Speaker 7 (43:55):
On me burning raylick carera scenes did you mind? Don't
free ring in the sacial silver stream?

Speaker 8 (44:13):
All right, welcome back to our number two of the show.
Hang on one second. I you know what, I really
should get my my ex account taken away from me
sometimes just at least my access to it every once
in a great while, because I'm such a smart ass.
Uh I'll tell you what I'm doing here in a second. Okay,

(44:36):
Uh So so Congressman Sarah McBride, And yes, I said
it that way. I'm not gonna call him a congresswoman
because well, he's a dude, just because he grew his
hair out and it and it, to be honest with it,
doesn't even look that great. You gotta do a little
more with that hair and dresses up like a girl.

(44:58):
And I think he may have gotten a little, you know,
but it's still a dude. So I'm not gonna call
you congresswoman. You're a congressman, but Congressman Sarah McBride, and
I don't even know what the heck his his real
name is, but I'm still gonna call him congressman. Getting
out there and complaining about the shutdown, and complaining about

(45:20):
the shutdown with the fact that you know, the Republican shutdown,
or the bottom line that the Democrats are there, blah blah.

Speaker 9 (45:25):
Let's hear what he has to say.

Speaker 14 (45:27):
Hey, come on, one, I just wanted to give you
a brief update. I just got out of caucus with
my Democratic We are back in and solve this healthcare.

Speaker 8 (45:42):
If you laughed at what I just laughed at, you
and I must be friends.

Speaker 9 (45:46):
I just gotta say, go ahead, go ahead.

Speaker 14 (45:48):
Dude, or crisis. But our Republican colleagues in the House
are nowhere to be seen. You've probably seen me searching
for them throughout the Capital complex. They are at home,
they are on vacation, while federal workers continue to go
without pay, and while millions of Americans continue to barrel

(46:09):
toward rising health care costs. There is no reason why
we can't both reopen government and solve this healthcare crisis
at the same time. In fact, we do not have
the luxury of waiting. Why are Republicans not here? Well,
they one are committed to cutting healthcare, but two, they
aren't here because they don't want to swear in Representative

(46:30):
elect at Alita Bahova from Arizona. She would be the
two hundred and eighteenth signature on a discharge petition to
release the Epstein files. Republicans in Congress are willing to
shut down the government because they are so committed to
cutting health care and covering up for Jeffrey Epstein and

(46:50):
all of his enablers. It's shameful and it's despicable. We'll
continue to be here demanding transparency, demanding pay for federal workers,
and demand that we save health care for the American people.

Speaker 8 (47:02):
Okay, dude, you do understand a few things right. First off,
you're a dude. I just want to I want to
clarify that one, so I'm not going to call you
congresswoman dude. But second, where's where's the Republicans been? Where
they have been saying that we want to cut healthcare?

(47:24):
Can can anybody give me a small, simple example where
they want to cut health care?

Speaker 9 (47:33):
For Americans.

Speaker 8 (47:34):
Well, they have voted like seventy different times to get
rid of Obamacare. Yes, because it's an atrocious program that
is costing a ton of money and is not doing
the American people the good that the Democrats said it would,
So yes, they want to replace that with something better.

Speaker 12 (47:54):
Now.

Speaker 8 (47:54):
I will definitely say this that the Republicans haven't really
come up with much of an idea of what to
do to replace. And this has been my criticism of
Congress for a while that nobody is trying to address
the actual issue when it comes to health care, and
that being cost. Get in there and address the cost.

(48:14):
And the sad part is is that we have plenty
of people in Congress that are doctors. Where is the
address of the cost of healthcare? Because that's what the
problem is. The problem is is that healthcare is so
expensive that some people can't afford it. Yesterday I saw
something and this kind of reminded me a little bit

(48:35):
about this, and it kind of got me a little
ticked a little. When I was picking up some medication
yesterday at the pharmacy, there was somebody that was there
that needed to get their medication, but the insurance company
didn't cover that, and it was going to be like
seventy dollars for her to get her medication. And she
came up with a couple of those little plans where

(48:57):
they where you can save money allegedly, and they ran
the thing and they're like, oh, well, it'll only save
you two dollars. She was unable to get her medication
because she didn't have the seventy dollars to get the
medication that she needed. She said, she'll come back tomorrow
see if she can figure it out. That's the problem
right there. That's what the problem is. It's not a

(49:20):
matter of us not having health insurance, because it doesn't
matter if you have health insurance, but you still can't
afford the health care. And that's a perfect example. She
had health insurance, has but it wouldn't cover things, and
the expense for her to pick it up was going

(49:40):
to be seventy dollars for some medication. So until the
left and the right actually start to look at that,
that's where the crisis is. If you want to talk
about a healthcare crisis, that's where it is. Remember I've
told you before I have been on the ACA, the Obamacare,

(50:01):
and it was ridiculously expensive. In a matter of two months,
it cost me four thousand dollars. Now I was lucky
to have that money on hand, but man, there's a
lot of things that I could have done with four
thousand dollars. It actually was costing me almost one thousand

(50:22):
dollars a month just for the coverage, and then I
had to have a procedure done and it cost me
another two thousand dollars. So, if you want to talk
about the healthcare crisis that we have, don't sit here
and blame the Republicans. Don't blame Democrats. Blame both parties

(50:45):
because neither one are addressing the actual issue. You remember
the Democrats thing that they did for a long time
was the root cause, we got to get to the
root cause of this. Well, then do it get to
that root cause of what is wrong with our healthcare
system and the problem with it is it's too damn expensive.

(51:07):
Get to the point of why is it that here
in America, where we develop and create so many different
medications that it costs US one hundred two hundred thousand
times more for us to buy the medication? Then it
does foreign countries? Explain that one? And when you do

(51:27):
have health insurance, and I know that some and shoes.
You just pointed that out too, that sometimes there are
Medicare and Medicaid and ACA that will cost you one
thousand dollars a month. Not everybody can afford that. So
if you want to start talking about addressing the affordability
of health insurance, that's not where you begin. You begin

(51:47):
with the cost of the actual product or the service,
and that is the health care. I don't understand why
it is that in Washington, d C. Nobody comes up
with that. Look, I love our own congressman, the one
that we have right here, Congressman Neil Done. I've been
I've become good friends with him for a while. But
he's a doctor, and I don't know if he's even

(52:09):
brought that up in that way. Why are we not
addressing the actual problem, and that being the cost of
health care. But the compout is let's go to insurance.
Let's talk about the insurance. And then, of course when
you get Congressman Sarah McBride up here talking about how

(52:30):
you know, they're demanding our Republican colleagues to end this
shutdown and work with us to fix healthcare crisis.

Speaker 9 (52:38):
Work with you. What is your plan?

Speaker 8 (52:41):
I mean, first and foremost, all of the Republicans voted
to open it. Yesterday there was another vote. Guess what happened.
They voted to open it. The Democrats voted to keep
it closed. So who is it that's the real problem here, Sarah,
Come on, dude, talk it a little bit differently and

(53:02):
understand things. Maybe let the balls actually show so that
you can actually use them.

Speaker 9 (53:08):
And come up with a plan. You know why this
is so difficult.

Speaker 8 (53:13):
And besides, if you want the Republicans to work with
you to fix the healthcare crisis, come up with some ideas.
This isn't so hard, is it? But apparently it is.
It's harder than any of us really anticipated it to be.

Speaker 9 (53:32):
People just annoy me, They really do. They absolutely annoy me.

Speaker 8 (53:36):
So another district judge, speaking of people that annoy me,
has come out and basically told Donald Trump that you
can't fire the workforce. You've got to stop doing the
reduction in workforce. I'm just curious if I missed something,
and you guys in the chat, maybe you can hit
me up on this. When did judges all of a

(53:56):
sudden get to run the country. When did judges all
of a sudden get to be the people who decides
what our money is and isn't spent on Who the
hell died and gave the judges command of this country.
Maybe some of these judges need to go back and
relearn how this country is supposed to be operated. And

(54:16):
they're not the ones who run it. Our elected officials
are representatives. They're the ones who run it. And to
be honest with you, I hope that Donald Trump looks
at this particular district judge and says, you know what,
while we're in the process of firing people.

Speaker 9 (54:32):
Go pack your office. You're fired.

Speaker 8 (54:35):
Because this is the other thing that Republicans are missing
the boat on that they need to do something about now,
and that is the judicial reform. And I'm not talking
about getting together in a committee and talking about it
or sending out a couple of newsletters and having another
phone call.

Speaker 9 (54:54):
Actually do something about it.

Speaker 8 (54:57):
Come up with some legislation to go after these rogue
judges that we have in this country who think that
they get to make the decisions that they have the
power over our elected officials who represent we the people.

Speaker 9 (55:12):
Get up there and start doing something.

Speaker 8 (55:16):
But with this district judge out of San Francisco now
saying that Trump cannot continue doing the reduction in workforce,
basically firing people out of the government, because the district
judge thinks that she has the power over the president.
This is the type of stuff that also just absolutely
positively needs to stop. And it is the Democrat's fault

(55:38):
again that we are shut down.

Speaker 9 (55:39):
And that's it.

Speaker 8 (55:43):
And what was that You can buy direct the eighty
percent discount from the Trump RX, which, you know what,
the Trump our X thing a good thing.

Speaker 9 (55:52):
I like it.

Speaker 8 (55:53):
I don't like the name of it though, I really don't.
I think that that was probably the wrong name for
Trump's prescription idea where you could buy it directly from
and save you know, the eighty percent, you know, without
having to go through all the third party, fourth party,
fifth party and everything to get the medication, and you

(56:15):
could save it that way. I think that's a great idea.
I just don't think it was a smart idea to
call it Trump OURX because and again this is the
liberals fault. A lot of liberals won't use it just
because of the fact that it's Trump's name, which I mean,
that's your own damn fault. I mean, if you're gonna
get down to the point to be so petty, then
oh god, I can't use this program to save eighty

(56:37):
percent on my prescriptions because it says Trump our X.

Speaker 9 (56:40):
Then it's your own damn fault. If you don't get better.
I mean it really is. Get over it. But you
know what, here's the.

Speaker 8 (56:46):
Thing is is if Donald Trump can come up with
that plan, and you know that he probably had this
while he was out on the golf course.

Speaker 9 (56:55):
Of something and just spur the moment and then said, hey,
can we do this? We could do this, all right,
let's do this. Let's call it Trump our X.

Speaker 8 (57:01):
We're gonna save you eighty percent on your prescription medication
and other supplies. That's one of those things everybody should
turn around and go, how the hell did he just
save eighty percent on stuff? That That that's huge. That
that's a that's a big deal right there.

Speaker 9 (57:21):
Eighty percent? How did he just do that? How can?
How can none of us morons didn't think about that.
That's what they should be doing.

Speaker 8 (57:30):
But if you can save eighty percent of your of
your stuff, I mean, that's quite a bit. I think
about the girl that I saw yesterday. Again, who you
know she she had the the seventy dollars bill for
her medication. Is she gonna saved eighty percent on that?

Speaker 9 (57:53):
That's fantastic.

Speaker 8 (57:55):
Again, a solution to the actual problem that we have,
which the Democrats and the Republicans have not jumped on,
and I think they need to.

Speaker 9 (58:05):
They need to jump on it. Come up with some ideas.

Speaker 8 (58:07):
Even if the ideas failed, if they don't work out,
come up with ideas to actually start.

Speaker 9 (58:13):
And I think you should start with that one. Again.
They're gonna push back, Oh d it's Trump r Rex
and I don't want anything that's Trump named.

Speaker 8 (58:21):
Well, then you know what, if you don't get better
and something bad happens to you, that's your own damn fault.
I'm just saying, all right, we got to take a
quick break.

Speaker 9 (58:28):
We'll be right back. This is the Brian Rush Show.

Speaker 8 (58:30):
Good morning, all right, Welcome back to the Brian Rush
Show here at Florida Man Radio and of course streaming
on Rumble, streaming on Wimken, and you can also grab
the podcast available right there at the Brian Rustshow dot com.

(58:51):
By the way, if you listen to the show on
the podcast or if you watch it on Rumble or whim,
could do me a huge favor smash the like button.
The reason for that is because it helps grow the algorithm.
That way, more and more people get to see it,
and we get to spread the good message out there
and get more people listening to the show, because we

(59:13):
got a lot of things that we got to say,
and the more we get listening, the more we get
out there. Coming up top of the hour, Florida Republican
Party Chairman Evan Powers is going to join us.

Speaker 9 (59:25):
How we're just one power.

Speaker 4 (59:28):
No ass is on that.

Speaker 8 (59:29):
He's gonna be joining us at the top of the hour.
We're gonna have a lot of great conversation. And you know,
we've got a big election that's obviously coming up next
year here in the state of Florida. We've got a
lot going on in the country. I've got some things
to say, I've got some things to ask. So it'll
be a good conversation that'll be coming up again at
the top of the hour for hour number three of
the show. In the meantime, more of this retardedness that

(59:51):
comes with the judicial system and the letting things go.
I don't understand what it's gonna take to get the
left to understand this concept that if you punish and
you let people understand that if I do this, that's bad,
and I have a consequence to my actions, then you

(01:00:12):
might not see so many repetitive criminal activities going on.
Now we remember Big Balls, Edward Big Ball's Cornstine. Who's
the kid that was working with Doge, the one that
was attacked when he was preventing a carjacking.

Speaker 9 (01:00:29):
You remember this.

Speaker 8 (01:00:31):
He got the snot speed out of him, but he
fought back. And the two teenagers that were involved in
this thing ended up getting arrested, they were charged with it,
and they have now been given their sentence of things
and they're going to avoid jail time after they pled
guilty to the just basically a simple assault, just a

(01:00:52):
simple assault. And see, now this is the problem that
we have both the boy and the girl both fifteen
years old, fifteen years old, and they were going to
go and do a carjacking on Big Balls and his
female friend that he was with that night in DC.

(01:01:15):
But they were both sentenced to probation by a DC
court judge just a couple of months after the two
of them were arrested for the rather vicious attack that
happened in early August. The boy was handed a twelve
month probation and allowed to return home under strict house arrest,
while the girl was given nine month probation and remanded

(01:01:37):
to a local youth shelter. Do you think this is
going to teach them any lessons?

Speaker 9 (01:01:43):
I mean it is.

Speaker 8 (01:01:44):
It's going to teach them the lesson that they can
get away with doing this stuff. And if you can
get away with this, who's to say that I can't get.

Speaker 9 (01:01:53):
Away with something a little bit worse.

Speaker 8 (01:01:57):
And this is how we continue to have these problems.
Patris right, it is bad parenting. But of course, here's
one of the other problems with bad parenting is that
the Democrats have gotten to a point where you can't parent.
Remember if you spank your child legitimately spank your child
because they did something wrong, or you confine your child

(01:02:18):
to their bedroom because they did something wrong, and you're
punishing them to teach them a lesson, You're not beating
the crap out of them. You're not you know, chaining
them to a wall or to a bed or something.
You're just saying, hey, you know, I mean most of
us in the older generations, we all know that a
good swift smack will make you go, oh, I don't

(01:02:41):
want that again. Having to spend time in your bedroom
and not being able to go and play outside or whatever.

Speaker 9 (01:02:49):
We all learned that was horrible.

Speaker 8 (01:02:51):
I would rather be outside playing in the cold in
the snow than being stuck in my bedroom doing nothing
because I was doing something stupid.

Speaker 9 (01:02:58):
Lesson learn.

Speaker 8 (01:03:01):
But they don't teach these lessons anymore. And if you're
a parent who does that, these kids have been taught
now that it's wrong for parents to do that, and
they can call the comps on you, and then Children's Services, which,
by the way, Children's Service is bad enough.

Speaker 1 (01:03:17):
It is.

Speaker 8 (01:03:17):
I don't know if you remember the conversation we had
with the gangs from the a Maid in America Foundation.
The whole Children's Services thing is a corrupt scheme.

Speaker 9 (01:03:30):
It's an absolute.

Speaker 8 (01:03:31):
Corrupt scheme, and I gotta get them back on the air.
We got to talk about that again soon. But they've
designed this so that the children know you smack your
child because they did something really bad, not beat the
crab out of them, just over the knee and whacking
the butt. They can call the police, call Children's Services
on you, and you get in trouble. You're the bad guy.

(01:03:55):
You lock them in their bedroom because of the fact
that they have been misbehaving and you're gonna ground them
and punish them. They can call the cops on you,
and they can not say that, Hey, I've misbehaved and
my parents are punishing me and by grounding me and
telling me I gotta stay in my room. No, they
know that they can call the police and say that
my parents are holding me hostage in my room and

(01:04:16):
they won't let me out. The police have to call,
and they got to respond to it. They got to
do their reports, and Children's Services gets involved in it.

Speaker 9 (01:04:24):
And what happens. You're the bad guy. And in the end,
what happens In.

Speaker 8 (01:04:30):
The end, you get these fifteen year old girl and
boy that go off and come do carjackings, and then
they think that they're so high and mighty that they
can now physically attack people because they think it's okay.
So while it is bad parenting, there is also that

(01:04:54):
Democrat rule of you can't do anything.

Speaker 9 (01:04:56):
Now.

Speaker 8 (01:04:56):
For those of us that don't live in the Democrat
at Mecca's where we live, in an area where we're
a lot more on the conservative side, and I have
actually seen police video of these. My favorite one though,
is actually the one for the TV show and I
don't remember if I can't remember the name of the show,
but it was a show that's based in Los Angeles,

(01:05:18):
and there was these two cops that were partners. One
of them had a big attitude problem. He was always
causing problems, but he was right about things. He was
old school and they were doing they were answering a call.
And I've seen this in real life videos too, but
this is the production and it's it's spot on where
they're called to a house because the kid called the

(01:05:40):
cops on the mother and the cop basically, you know,
they go through the spiel of what happened. The mom
was just disciplining the kid. The kid has been a
spoiled brett calling the cops making up a story about
his mom, and the cop pulls the kid aside and
basically told him knock it off or I'm going to
smack the crap out of you and scare the Bejesus
out of the kid.

Speaker 9 (01:06:01):
We need to get back to that.

Speaker 8 (01:06:04):
I mean, we have a lot of sheriffs here in
the state of Florida, where if you call you the
police and your mom and dad because of the fact
that they punished you, there's a good chance at the
police department and the sheriff's officer are going to be like, well,
you probably deserved it, buddy, And as long as the
children's services group doesn't get involved, you'll be okay. But
we got to stop that behavior. That's how you change

(01:06:25):
this stuff. Oh and by the way, go after the
judges that go light on all of this stuff. You
got to teach them a lesson. We gotta take a break,
be right back, all right, welcome back to the Brian

(01:06:45):
Rush Show. Make corporal punishment great again. I can you
get on board with that? You know it sucks.

Speaker 9 (01:06:54):
We've had it when we were younger.

Speaker 8 (01:06:56):
Nobody likes to get well, I can't say nobody likes
to get spanked.

Speaker 9 (01:07:00):
Nobody likes to get corporal punishment.

Speaker 8 (01:07:02):
But sometimes it's an effective way of communicating don't do
that again.

Speaker 9 (01:07:10):
I can tell you right now.

Speaker 8 (01:07:11):
One of the most effective ways of communicating that message Tupperware.
Tupperware had this plastic spoon.

Speaker 9 (01:07:21):
Now my mom.

Speaker 8 (01:07:22):
Old school, she had the wooden spoons. And as you
can imagine, I know this is going to become an
absolute shock to everybody when I say this. I was
kind of a smartass as a kid.

Speaker 4 (01:07:36):
I know.

Speaker 9 (01:07:36):
I'll let that shock sink in for a second. And
my mom, she.

Speaker 8 (01:07:41):
Added, every now and then set things straight, and set
the record straight, and get me back on the straight
and narrow of things in a wooden spoon.

Speaker 9 (01:07:50):
From time to time would be just that thing. Well,
you know what. It got to a point.

Speaker 8 (01:07:54):
Mom went to a Tupperware party and came back with
this amazing divine and it was this long. The thing
had to have been at least a foot and a
half long, if not three feet.

Speaker 9 (01:08:07):
It felt like his three feet, but it was probably
like about a.

Speaker 8 (01:08:09):
Foot and a half long. This spoon had a tiny
little head on the top of it. It was great
for mixing kool aid with by the way, and then
the end of it kind of like narrowed down to
a point. This thing was a weapon. And you know
how many times my mom had to hit me with
that thing. Once when that thing came through the air,

(01:08:31):
when I got the don't you make me get the
spoon thing again? And you know, you get a little
cocky and confident on that, and she got that toughwear
spoon out and you heard the air get out of
the way, and you heard that thing and when it
made contact, your heart stopped beating for a second, and
you start thinking about every stupid thing that you have

(01:08:53):
just done in the past five to ten minutes, and
that you were never going to do that thing ever again,
because that hurt. I was talking to my mom about
it one time, and she said, I felt so guilty
about it.

Speaker 9 (01:09:05):
But you know what, she shouldn't.

Speaker 8 (01:09:08):
Shouldn't feel guilty about it at all, because while yes,
I am fifty two years old right now and that
probably happened forty something years ago, I still remember it,
and I still remember the lesson learned. Don't do that
otherwise there are consequences to your actions. So yeah, make

(01:09:30):
corporal punishment great again without a doubt, because it does
actually work. And again, I know my mom says that
she felt so guilty about it, she should not because
it was a lesson that was learned, and I was
taught that some of your smartass antics are going to

(01:09:51):
have some consequences. All right, maybe I haven't learned all
that much. No, seriously, it is. It is something that
that does work, and I think we need to to
continue with that because this is one of the problems
that we have is you can you can clearly tell
that so many people in this world today have never

(01:10:12):
had any sort of discipline, have never been told no,
have never been spanked in a way outside of a
Friday night. There's another story that's coming about, and this
again shows just how people think that they can do
whatever they want. However, there's also an additional thing to this.
I'll get into it a second. There is a two

(01:10:35):
different airports on Tuesday that ended up having people go
off and do loud speakers and suddenly started blasting a
pro Hamas message and slurs against President Trump and Israeli
Prime Minister Benjamin and Yahoo, which, first off, I don't

(01:10:56):
understand how the hell you would be pro Hamas.

Speaker 10 (01:10:59):
I can.

Speaker 8 (01:10:59):
I can get pro Palestinian, all right, I can get that,
but being pro Hamas. Hamas is a terrorist organization, terrorist organization,
and you're gonna be.

Speaker 9 (01:11:14):
Pro them, okay.

Speaker 8 (01:11:18):
But there was video that got posted by travelers that
were shown the unauthorized recordings echoing through some of the terminals.
One happened at the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania airport, and the other
one happened at the UH. I don't know, you're gonna
try and say, this's an airport up in British Columbia
in Canada. And this is the type of stuff that
they are doing. And they were also flashed with messages

(01:11:39):
praising Hamas and calling for free Palestine.

Speaker 9 (01:11:49):
Calling for free Palestine. Is isn't that kind of what
they're working on?

Speaker 8 (01:11:55):
I mean, how are they missing that too? How are
they missing the fact that they're trying to free Palestine.

Speaker 9 (01:12:04):
They don't get it.

Speaker 8 (01:12:04):
But this is the type of stuff that you know,
you should understand. Is is wrong to do, to do
this type of public disruption.

Speaker 9 (01:12:14):
It's wrong. They need to be spanked.

Speaker 8 (01:12:16):
Get a good leather belt out, get a cat's a
cat of nine tails. Those are oh yeah, there you go.
That's definitely annoying thing. We're gonna get a switch. It's
time for you to be taught a lesson. But here's
the other thing about this, and this is the organization aspect.
If there is nothing that we can give props to

(01:12:37):
when it comes to the Left with their ability to
do stuff, organization is one of them.

Speaker 9 (01:12:43):
And when they can organize this type of stuff, this
type of messaging.

Speaker 8 (01:12:47):
These people are dangerous and it's one of the things
that we need to be very aware of when it
comes to the coordinations that they do, and especially if
we are going to get down the road of escalating things,
as as Robert De Niro saying, Hey, well you need
to have some violence over now.

Speaker 9 (01:13:07):
You don't.

Speaker 8 (01:13:09):
You don't need violence. We shoot back. You don't want
to go down that road, trust me. But there is
the No Kings protest which is going to be happening
on Saturday throughout the country, and should you feel the
need to join one or counter protest or whatever you
might want to do, you can go to no what

(01:13:29):
is it, no Kings dot org.

Speaker 9 (01:13:30):
Hang on a second, I think that's what it is.

Speaker 8 (01:13:34):
Uh yeah, no Kings dot org where you can go
there and you can find an event, you can check
out their toolkit and they even have trainings on this
as well, and you can find out who all their
partners are. Oh, you know what, they can find out
who their partners are. Who are their partners? Oh, there's
a whole list of partners on this one. Isn't this interesting?

(01:14:01):
Florida Rising who is Florida Rising being here on the
Florida Man Radio network. Maybe we should uh we should
uh check this out. Who is Florida Rising Florida Rising organization?
We are the new majority. Well, if I didn't hear

(01:14:21):
about you, you're obviously not the new majority.

Speaker 9 (01:14:23):
Dumbasses.

Speaker 8 (01:14:25):
Uh, let's see. Let's let's take a look at it.
Who this new majority is? The Florida Rising. This is
another one of these these groups of dumbasses. Well, let's see, uh,
Florida Rising because we are the new majority.

Speaker 9 (01:14:42):
Together we rise? Uh huh what do we got here?

Speaker 8 (01:14:48):
We build independent political power that centers historically marginalized communities.
So everyday Floridians shape the future. Who are we Well,
based on the photos, you're a bunch of dumbasses. But
let's dive into this and let's find out who these
people are. We're doing this together. We're learning together, folks.
We organize multiracial movements to win elections, change laws, and

(01:15:14):
create a state where everyone can be safe, happy, healthy
and whole.

Speaker 9 (01:15:19):
Okay, let's start with this.

Speaker 8 (01:15:21):
Because the Republican Party, I don't know if you're aware
of this, dummies, we're multiracial. The Republican party is multiracial.
As a matter of fact, the Republican Party. We don't
care if you're black, white, Asian, Hispanic, mix of the two.
We don't care if you're gay, straight, trans, we don't care.

(01:15:42):
You believe the same thing that we do politically. Come
on over, and by the way, we're not going to
point it out. We're not going to make a big
deal out of it. You're just one of us. That's
all there is to It's just one of us. No color,
no race, no heritage, and no, you're just one of us.
That's all there is to it.

Speaker 9 (01:16:03):
But you want to.

Speaker 8 (01:16:04):
Talk about winning elections, chaining laws, and create a state
where everyone can be safe. What do you think the
Republicans are doing right now? I mean, this just shows
to show how stupid these people really truly are and
how they're their movement. They're blind to it, because, yes,
the Republicans want to have a state where everyone can

(01:16:26):
be safe. And as part of that, what we are
doing is we are getting the violent criminals who make
you unsafe out of the country, and those who are
citizens of this country that are violent criminals, we're looking
to lock them up. We're looking to address the health
the mental health issue that has created things like the

(01:16:49):
mass shootings. And you want to be happy, healthy, and whole.
I'm not sure what the whole part is. Based upon
the size of some of them. That might be the
whole part, because it's the whole thing thing.

Speaker 9 (01:17:01):
But happy.

Speaker 8 (01:17:02):
We want to be happy. We want to be able
to go down the street. We want to be able
to go shopping somewhere without the fear of these leftist
attacking people. And healthy, of course, we want to be healthy.
Who doesn't want to be healthy? So how are you

(01:17:22):
doing all of this this change? Well, let's see what
their principles are. This is going to be good. Organizing
is the heart of all we do, and yes, they
love to do organizing. Membership is our ownership of our
collective work. Oh, collective work, there's that word collective. We

(01:17:44):
activate communities to take action. Our members are experts in
their lives. Well, everybody should be an expert in your
own life. That's stupid. And then every individual has power
and we have more power together. I mean people are
in this particular protest. I can actually count them in
the photo one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen,

(01:18:08):
you got thirteen people at your you might if you're
going to do a photo of a of a protest
that you're doing, or a rally that you're doing, you
might want to do one with more than thirteen people.
I'm just saying that's not a majority. We have twenty
twenty two, twenty three, twenty four million people here in
the state of Florida. Thirteen people showing up to your rallies.
Not a sign that you guys are a majority. Let's

(01:18:29):
see expand democracy. By the way, just in case they forgot,
we're not a democracy. We're a constitutional republic. Let's say,
for a government that works for all of us.

Speaker 9 (01:18:41):
Let's see.

Speaker 8 (01:18:45):
Fight for political and LGBTQ rights. Has anybody ever pointed
those out? And this is another stupid thing about the
left is that they do this whole LGBTQ plus rights.
What rights do they get that we don't? What do
we have for rights that they don't have? I mean,

(01:19:06):
is there a special right? We've yet to never really
figure this out because I'm curious minds.

Speaker 9 (01:19:13):
I just want to know.

Speaker 8 (01:19:14):
I mean, is there a special right that you get
to have if you're gay, or that you don't get
because you're gay.

Speaker 9 (01:19:20):
What is it?

Speaker 8 (01:19:22):
They don't know. That's the other problem. They're like, oh, yeah,
we have to protect that rights. Well, which ones are
you losing? I don't know. And ironically, every single one
of their chapters that they have are all in blue
cities here in the state of Florida. Florida Rising. Yeah,

(01:19:46):
good luck with you guys. They do have events. What
kind of events do they have? Get involved in an event?
They got one coming up West Palm Beach at the
RSVP on that one. Yeah, all these organized and you know,
here's the other thing too, When you guys do these organizings,

(01:20:06):
could you, like, I don't know, maybe educate yourself on
some things too, Like, hey, we got a whole group
of people here, who's got any questions? And oh, here's
an interesting one, and this one might want to have
everybody's attention. The League of Women Voters is a partner
of the No Kings organization. Is In't that interesting? I

(01:20:32):
wonder if the local League of Women Voters is aware
of what the No Kings thing does. And I hope
that everybody understands this too. When the League of Women
Voters decides that they want to do some things in
your neighborhood that they're part of the No Kings organization.

Speaker 9 (01:20:49):
Very interesting, very very interesting.

Speaker 8 (01:20:52):
But again this weekend there's supposed to be more of
the No King's rallies, so we'll see how that goes
down the course. On probably Monday, the Democrats will vote
to open the government because they couldn't do it until.

Speaker 9 (01:21:07):
After the No King's rally.

Speaker 8 (01:21:09):
And with the mental effect of all of this, if
they wait until Monday, after the No King's rally and
they vote to reopen the government, all of these No
King Rally people are gonna be like.

Speaker 9 (01:21:21):
Yay see, we were so effective that you weren't.

Speaker 8 (01:21:25):
You were just another useful pawn, you bunch of idiots.
That's all it is. All right, we gotta take another break,
quick break. Coming up after the top of the hour.
By the way, the Florida Republican Party chairman Evan Power
is gonna be joining us. That's gonna be a great conversation.
We'll be chatting with him coming up just a little bit.
But first we got to take a break. We'll be
right back, all right. Welcome back to the Brian Rush

(01:22:02):
Show here in Florida. Man Radio also streaming a Whimkin
and Rumble and available on the podcast right there at
any one of your favorite podcasting services. It's all over
the place to just look for the Brian Rust Show.
So with the No Kings rally that is going on
on Saturday, there's a group I saw that was freaking
out that Donald Trump is going to be firing missiles

(01:22:25):
at California to disrupt the No King's rally. Oh these people,
I swear to God, where do we find them?

Speaker 9 (01:22:37):
Where did these people come from? And how did this
happen to.

Speaker 8 (01:22:40):
Our society that we have so many people that are
just this damn dumb.

Speaker 9 (01:22:45):
Seriously, what's that?

Speaker 8 (01:22:49):
You can never unsee the Biden with the red background
and military looking exactly how Hitler looked. Yeah, that whole
thing that he did down in Philadelphia, that was a
that was not a good look, But it also said
a lot about what the Democrats really truly are.

Speaker 9 (01:23:05):
But you got to remember this.

Speaker 8 (01:23:07):
That you always create confusion and accuse your your your
foe of what you are actually doing to create that confusion.
The Democrats, by the way, they totally are reading out
of the Marxist agenda. They're reading it page by page
and just going along. If you want to learn what's
coming up next, just read the books and it'll tell you.

Speaker 9 (01:23:29):
By the way.

Speaker 8 (01:23:30):
Coming up later on tonight in New York City, this
ought to be interesting. The New York mayoral debate is
going to be going on with Zora on Mama Donnie
and at least Chris Cuoma. I don't know if the
others are going to be in it or not. It'll
be interesting. But yesterday, I don't know if anybody saw this. Yesterday,
Martha mccollin on Fox News had Zora on Mamma Donnie

(01:23:53):
on and I actually did not catch who it was initially.
I was, as you, driving down the street going to
get my hair cut yesterday, and I just popped onto
Fox News while I was listening, and I heard this
guy that was talking, and I heard all the things
that he was saying, and I was like.

Speaker 9 (01:24:11):
Huh, who is this? And it's going back and forth.

Speaker 8 (01:24:14):
They're talking about all the things about New York City
and the things that need to be done, and I'm
just kind of interesting, who is this? And all of
a sudden I found out, Holy crap, and Zorron Mamadanni
Zora on Mammadanni's going to win this election, and he's
going to win this election because of the fact that
he sounds so good and nobody's questioning him. Nobody's questioning him,

(01:24:39):
nobody's saying, hey, what about all I mean. Martha mccollin yesterday,
she did question him about a few things like his
anti police thing, asked if he'd apologize about it right now,
but really didn't get into any in depth stuff like
the things that the people are worried about.

Speaker 9 (01:24:57):
That's one of the problems.

Speaker 8 (01:24:58):
And also, you know, he was bringing up the questions
about or he was bringing up the point that he's
going to do the raising of the taxes the two percent.
And you know, this is the thing, is that that
when you look at some of the wealthy in New
York City, they're already paying about fifty to fifty two
percent in taxes. Half of their wealth is going to taxes.

(01:25:21):
And so Ron's like, oh, but it's only going to
be two percent, a two percent increase. People don't understand
how much a two percent increase really truly is. It's
more than just the two cents on the dollar. If
you're already getting fifty two cents of the dollar taken away.

(01:25:44):
That's an awful lot, and you're just going to add
a couple. It's not gonna work out. People are going
to abandon New York City like crazy. And then the
question that nobody seems to be asking this clown is
what are you going to do when the wealth leaves
the city? When people leave the city, and just say,

(01:26:05):
I'm not doing this. More of my wealth is going
to the city, and what am I getting? I'm a
redistribution of all my wealth and hard earned. No, they're
gonna leave, businesses are gonna leave, and what's gonna happen?

Speaker 12 (01:26:17):
Then?

Speaker 8 (01:26:18):
How are you going to do? The free buses everywhere?
And I hope that he has looked into his plan
about the free buses and looked at places that do
provide that, like Kansas City where it's failed, in other
socialist meccas where they have done it and they have problems.

Speaker 9 (01:26:39):
I hope he's.

Speaker 8 (01:26:39):
Looked into that because there's gonna be a lot of issues.
But it'll be an interesting debate later on tonight with
the mayor Old debate. Also, some other cool news is
that NBC News has started some major layoffs. About one
hundred and something people have now been laid off from
NBC News as of the past couple of days, a
lot of the staff that has been involved in some

(01:27:00):
of the dumb reporting. Here's my question is where's the
where's the calls for them? Where's their their their freedom
of speech and their First Amendment rights?

Speaker 9 (01:27:11):
That's being violent? How come all these people aren't.

Speaker 8 (01:27:13):
Getting the the love that Jimmy Kimmel got when they
fired him. But this is yet another example of just
how bad the the mainstream.

Speaker 9 (01:27:22):
Media is become.

Speaker 8 (01:27:26):
But then again, there's an interesting story that I heard
when it was one of the Fox News people. I
think I might have been Martha who was talking about
when she had to go out to cover the death
of the queen and she went out with her team
like three four people, that was about it, and she
ran into some of her colleagues who said that they
had a hundred plus people there. That's another reason for

(01:27:47):
why you're failing, all right. Coming up over the top
of the hour, the Florida Republican Party Chairman Evan Power
is going to be joining us. We're gonna chat with
him about a lot of things. Stand by for that
that is coming up. But first we got to take
a break. For our top of the hour commercial break.
We will be right back. Good morning.

Speaker 2 (01:28:11):
Brian Russell's name, you know the brand liming up the
airways in this one, melting snowface with the fiery had
talking truth.

Speaker 15 (01:28:28):
You can't always stand fast tone show from coast to coast.
Got the facts, but it ain't no boast.

Speaker 5 (01:28:41):
Can't give up the change and give it a toast
to the man who roasts the most.

Speaker 1 (01:28:46):
Knock it off.

Speaker 7 (01:28:47):

Speaker 6 (01:29:08):

Speaker 4 (01:29:14):

Speaker 9 (01:29:47):
All right, welcome back to.

Speaker 8 (01:29:48):
Our number three of the Brian Russell Show right here
at the Florida Man Radio and of course on Rumble
Wimkin and the podcast listening all around the world. Thank
you so much for checking this out today. What a
welcome to the show. This is gonna be a fun conversation.
It's going to be a fun, educational conversation. But Evan Power,
who is the chairman of the Florida Republican Party. Evan,

(01:30:08):
thank you so much for coming on. How are you today?

Speaker 12 (01:30:11):
I'm doing well.

Speaker 9 (01:30:12):
Thanks for having me absolutely, Thanks so much for coming on.

Speaker 8 (01:30:15):
You know, I've been wanting to chat with you for
a while because obviously there's a lot of things that
are going on. We have a big election year here
in the state of Florida.

Speaker 9 (01:30:23):
Next year.

Speaker 8 (01:30:23):
We have the governor's race that's going on. We're having
Aronda Santis not eligible to run again. We've got a
few candidates on the Republican side that is ready to go.
Let's talk about that a little bit. What is the
Republican Party ready to do for this election?

Speaker 12 (01:30:41):
So my focus has been on building the infrastructure that's
going to be needed to win long term. You know,
in last election, in the presidential election, we turned out
about eighty four percent of Republicans.

Speaker 10 (01:30:51):
You're not going to do that in the midterm. But
we're going to try to turn.

Speaker 12 (01:30:54):
Out every Republican we can. You know, we're going to
have a governor's primary, but the party's job is to
be ready to take the nominee that comes out of
that primary and take them to victory. And we've got
a number of plans ready to go to turn out
every Republican we can. You know, we have a one
nearly it will be next week probably when we break
it will have a one point four million voter advantage.

Speaker 10 (01:31:15):
But that doesn't mean anything if we don't turn every
one of them out.

Speaker 8 (01:31:18):
Yeah, that is so true, because the one thing that
I have to always give the props to the Democrats
on is their ability to turn out their base and
Republicans we've just had that problem with being able to
turn out our base. And you know, the thing that
I've I've harped on for years now, and that is
early voting. And I think last year with the twenty

(01:31:39):
twenty four presidential election, we saw a huge shift nationwide
with Republicans getting out and doing the early voting. What
are you guys doing to convince people to do that
rather than waiting until the last minute, Because it seems
like the Republican Party as a whole, you know, there's
they've been this push about oh, we got to make
it a national holiday for election day. The reality is

(01:32:00):
nobody's going to stand in those lines, you know, to
wait forever to vote. So early voting is such a key,
and that's what the Democrats do.

Speaker 12 (01:32:09):
Yeah, I mean, it's a noble goal to have a
one day voting system, but the infrastructure currently is just
not made for that, and people would stand in long lines.
It would hurt everyone. What I've been a big believer
of chasing every ballot that's available in every way that
they can, and so you know, it is how people
want to vote. If they want to vote by mail legally,
we will encourage them to do that and help them

(01:32:31):
do that.

Speaker 10 (01:32:32):
If they want to vote early, we encourage them to
do that. I prefer people.

Speaker 12 (01:32:35):
You know, the President didn't swamp the vote, which was
exactly what we had been targeting. Is I want everyone
to vote as soon as possible so that those votes
are in the system and that we can target those
people that are behind so we can turn them out
on an election day. It makes my targeting universe much easier,
saves us a lot of money as a party. But
we have those those those votes banked, and I think,

(01:32:56):
you know, you've seen turning point do it Cliff.

Speaker 10 (01:32:59):
Maloney in Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Vania.

Speaker 12 (01:33:01):
Ballot chase, and Cliff doesn't hide it. He stole a
lot of those ideas from what Florida Republicans have been
doing the last couple of cycles, because I've been a
firm believer in chasing every vote possible and trying to
get people to vote as soon as possible.

Speaker 9 (01:33:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:33:14):
Absolutely, And you brought up something that we mentioned earlier
too in the show about how it actually costs the
party less if you get your voting done early, because
then you don't have to spend so much money to
essentially go after everybody to get him out there and vote.
And that's why it's so important to do that. And
you're pointing out Pennsylvania. You know, there's so many people
that are really truly getting involved in there. And I

(01:33:35):
don't know if you know Scott Presler, you know, first off,
somebody that stereotypically is not the Republican you know, long haired, skinny,
gay Republican young who is bringing people to the voting
ballots and registration in record numbers. And we see a

(01:33:56):
lot of the young people going on and there is
things like turning USA, which you know, ever since the unfortunate,
tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk, we've seen such a bigger
interest in that. Do we have people here in Florida, Uh,
from the younger generation, because that's a generation that I
think the Republican Party until Baron Trump said hey, Dad,
don't forget us, we've kind of forgotten about even though

(01:34:20):
they're the next biggest voting block coming about do we
have anybody in the in Florida that is kind of
our Scott Pressler.

Speaker 12 (01:34:29):
You know, what I will say is that we've we've
really one of the things that that that I believed
in when I became a local party chair was using
college Republicans and younger Republicans, and we've rebuilt here in
the last couple of years the Younger Republican Network in Florida.
Brandon Ludwig is their president. He does a tremendous job,
and we've been able to work with the Cliff Maloney's,
the Scott Prossers of the world to do those same

(01:34:53):
kind of movement issues that they've been doing on encouraging
voter registration and voter turnout. And I think that's why
you're seeing the in voting here. And I will say
the young Republicans statewide are just getting started. They are
a very important piece of what the Republican Party is doing.
We welcome Brandon as a member of our board when

(01:35:13):
they charted with US statewide. So we're working hand in
hand with the young Republicans to reach that next generation
and to continue to turn out new Republicans in the
years to come.

Speaker 9 (01:35:22):
Awesome.

Speaker 8 (01:35:23):
So messaging, by the way, is such an important thing,
and this is something that I harp on the Republican
Party as a whole on a regular basis, because while
we're getting a little bit better, and I think Donald
Trump has been one of the best messengers for the
Republican Party that we've probably ever had, we're watching what
the Democrats are doing right now across the nation, and

(01:35:44):
they are getting out there and they're pounding their message
out and it is resonating very well with a lot
of people, and the Republican Party just doesn't seem to
be countering that message. Why is it that the Republicans
just can't get out there and encounter the message?

Speaker 9 (01:36:01):
I mean, is there a reason why?

Speaker 8 (01:36:03):
I Mean, I've heard some people say, oh, we got
to take the high road, and I think I'm at
the point now and a lot of the people that
listen to the show kind of agree that we're done
with the high road and we're at the point now
where it's time to call Elon and ask for a
boring machine so that we can bore underneath the Democrats
and take out their ankles while we're at it. What's

(01:36:23):
the Republican Party doing to counter a lot of these messages?

Speaker 12 (01:36:27):
You know, I think there was a systematic messaging disisant
with Republicans over a long time period of time, and
I think you're right, it's take the high road, not
engage in some of this stuff. You're seeing a new
generation of Republicans who are willing to fight, and you
have people in Congress like Annapoline and a Luna who
are are willing.

Speaker 11 (01:36:46):
To take those those aggressive stances.

Speaker 10 (01:36:48):
I've been doing that in Florida.

Speaker 12 (01:36:49):
What I did when I'm a King chairman was tear
down the entire communications part and rebuild. We actively engage
on Twitter, Instagram, all the things that are that exist
and give us an opportunity. I think the RNC, under
Joe Gruder's I mean, it's just starting. Their comm system
is coming up. You're seeing us get into weekly messaging

(01:37:09):
calls with the White House now to coordinate messaging. I
think we're going to do a much better job. But
it is something that has been a weakness for Republicans.
It's something that's annoyed me at length. It's one of
the reasons that I wanted to run for chairman, to
be honest, is I didn't think we were.

Speaker 11 (01:37:23):
Doing a very good job of chasing ballots, and I.

Speaker 12 (01:37:25):
Didn't think we were doing a very good job of
selling the message. And I think when you look at
what we've done here in Florida, our message is resonating
with Floridians, and I think.

Speaker 10 (01:37:34):
We need to be able to spread that to the
rest of the country.

Speaker 12 (01:37:36):
And if we do that, we're going to be much
more successful.

Speaker 9 (01:37:38):
Yeah, yeah, I agree with you.

Speaker 8 (01:37:39):
And you know, here's the thing that the Republican parties
have always been kind of guilty of doing when it
comes to starting the fight, is that they kind of,
again just like the high road thing, they go, oh, well,
wait a second, it's not election season yet, so the
election season hasn't officially started, so we don't need to
do much. You know, the Democrats don't give a night.

(01:38:00):
They started the day after, I mean the moment that
Donald Trump was announced the winner of the presidency. They
started their campaigning, They started the negative messaging, and the
Republican Party as a whole just kind of stood back
and went.

Speaker 9 (01:38:13):
Well, you know what I mean.

Speaker 8 (01:38:15):
You know, the twenty twenty six election season will start
and we'll we'll get into it later. Why is it
that they just don't jump into it now? Because you know,
people are so easy to persuade them, and once they're persuaded,
you know, they build their own perception, and their perception
is going to be the reality and it's hard to
get them out of that. But the republic Party always
seems to wait till the last minute.

Speaker 11 (01:38:36):
Well, I think you the party structure is not is.

Speaker 10 (01:38:39):
Built into a way.

Speaker 11 (01:38:40):
And the elected officials play into this, is that there's
a there's.

Speaker 12 (01:38:43):
A way ley when you get in after an election,
you have to collect leadership, you have to do all
these things. The Democrats have been very good at having
outside groups who are always prepared to fight at all times.

Speaker 10 (01:38:52):
Republicans are just now.

Speaker 12 (01:38:54):
Catching up with some of that and turning point is
obviously a big part.

Speaker 10 (01:38:57):
Of it now. But you see a lot of these
groups that.

Speaker 12 (01:38:59):
Are popping up, and you're seeing elected officials who realize
that you just can't sit back and wait for messaging
to come from leadership, that.

Speaker 10 (01:39:07):
We can fight hand to hand with these.

Speaker 12 (01:39:09):
People, you know, you know, we don't back away from
the Maxville Frosts of the world in Florida where.

Speaker 10 (01:39:14):
The Jared Moscow is. Is there any of those people anymore?

Speaker 11 (01:39:17):
We don't need messine, you know, I know what.

Speaker 12 (01:39:18):
Works with people. I talk to people every day. I
go to counties every day, So you know, it's one
of those things that I think the system was set
up a different way for a different time, and the
Democrats jumped on it much earlier. We're catching up. But
I think that, you know, our issues are always going
to be more resonate more with voters.

Speaker 10 (01:39:37):
We just got to do a better job of communicating them.

Speaker 9 (01:39:39):
Yeah, yeah, you're absolutely right.

Speaker 8 (01:39:40):
I mean, I think we're we're doing a much better
job here in the state of Florida because I mean, obviously,
you look at the success of the Republican Party with
more more voters registered for a Republican than Democrat. You
know what, we've obviously seen the successes of people like
Ronda Santis and the stuff that he has done, and
it'll be interesting here in the state of Florida. But
you know, one of the things that I've talked about

(01:40:02):
multiple times on the show, and that is when it
comes to the governor's race and Florida as a whole,
and how desperate and how much the Democrats need to
get Florida back, and it is going to be something
that they're going to battle. Now, I'll give you some
props on this one. Was the number that I just saw,
was this six point three million that you guys raised
in the latest quarter for fundraising six.

Speaker 12 (01:40:25):
Point three million in the state account six point nine
million total.

Speaker 8 (01:40:29):
Okay, and that is significantly more than what the Florida
Democrat Party has.

Speaker 9 (01:40:33):
So we've got some cash in the bank.

Speaker 8 (01:40:35):
But it seems like, you know, the fear that I
have is because we've got a lot of new Republicans
here in the state of Florida, and they are Republicans
who have come from a lot of blue states, the
New York's and the Californias and stuff like that, where
they have dealt with so much of the Democrat stuff,
and they may not be as strong Republicans as those
that have been here already. And if the Republican primary

(01:41:00):
he goes down and granted, the candidates that are running
right now, they're all strong candidates, but if there is
any sort of of demeaning and destroying of each other,
that that might weaken them going into things. And the
Democrats they've got a candidate that can be pretty down
the middle of the road. Is there any fear from
the party about, you know, the the Democrat messaging just

(01:41:23):
really taking a stronghold and winning over some of the
quasi maroon ish kind of Republicans that we might have here.

Speaker 12 (01:41:33):
Well, you know, you have David Jolly, who's the Democrat
probably the Democrat nominee. Let me just say that I
call him Teaming Charlie Chris because he's Charlie Chris without
the charm.

Speaker 9 (01:41:42):
That's funny.

Speaker 12 (01:41:43):
But but you know, I'm not worried about his message.
My concern is the same as yours is. When I
talk to party county parties and Lincoln Days and all
the things that we do, I tell people that we
we we can disagree on policy, we can argue about policy,
but we can't tear each other down. The Democrats controlled
the state for hundreds of years because and they only
lost power because they started turning and fighting on each other. Right,

(01:42:06):
we have to be unified once we get through the primary,
knowing that we have solid nominees, which we will have,
and we will be able to take that message of
the Democrats and when and when.

Speaker 11 (01:42:15):
Big so that we can send the message to the
rest of the country.

Speaker 10 (01:42:17):
That Florida is leading the way. So I'm not really
worried about the.

Speaker 11 (01:42:21):
Messaging the Democrats do. And they only raise five hundred thousand.

Speaker 12 (01:42:24):
Dollars because their message is obviously not resonating.

Speaker 11 (01:42:27):
With even donors not here, but they but they want
to fight.

Speaker 12 (01:42:30):
Here because they need the Florida story. But I'm just
I just want us to focus on not tearing each
other apart and looking for perfect but knowing that we're
better than the Democrats and we're ready to fight the
Democrats in the message of the rest of the country.

Speaker 9 (01:42:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:42:44):
Well, first off, if anybody is looking for the perfect politician,
stop because there is no such thing as a perfect politician.
And we do have to disagree with our politicians because
that's part of you know the system, but you're right,
don't look for that perfect one because the reality is
that they don't actually exist. By the way, we're chatting
with Evan Power, who's the chairman of the Republican Party

(01:43:05):
here in the in the state of Florida, and Evan,
I want to know what you're You're giving a message
out to all of the Republican elected officials that we
have now when it comes to again messaging and getting
out and talking to the community. Because this show here,
we've been doing the show now for about six years.
Congressman Dunn has been a guest on this show many

(01:43:28):
many times.

Speaker 9 (01:43:29):
We've had a few.

Speaker 8 (01:43:30):
Others and and I had heard and I don't know
if you were part of the call or not, but
there was a conversation about getting out there and and
talking to the community. And this show was actually kind
of brought up in the conversation with the entire Republican
House Party about how you need to do stuff like
this show. Do you get out there and tell some

(01:43:50):
of these politicians that they've they've got to do this
stuff because this show covers not fully, but I believe
it's five different Congression districts in the state of Florida.

Speaker 12 (01:44:03):
Yeah, I think it's important for us to sell our message.
If we don't have our elected officials going out and
telling the stories that we've accomplished for the people of Florida.

Speaker 10 (01:44:11):
Democrats fill that void.

Speaker 12 (01:44:13):
I've always argued for a generation of fighters who are
willing to fight hand to hand with some of these Democrats,
because when we put our message next to a Democrat message.

Speaker 11 (01:44:23):
We win every time.

Speaker 10 (01:44:25):
So I encourage.

Speaker 12 (01:44:26):
Everyone to talk to anyone that they can to get
the message out. And as a Republican Party, since I've
been chairman, we try to take every opportunity to spread
the good news of what Republicans have accomplished and try
to get it out to everybody.

Speaker 10 (01:44:37):
I've done probably.

Speaker 12 (01:44:38):
Thousands of TV interviews, hundreds of radio interviews, and we
do active social media for the reason of I believe
if we tell the Republican story of Florida, it wins voters,
not just in Florida, but the rest of the country.

Speaker 9 (01:44:51):
Yeah. Absolutely.

Speaker 8 (01:44:53):
And one other thing that I want to get your
thoughts and opinions on, and that is the Republican led
legis slature here in the state of Florida, and they
have done some pretty good things in the past several
sessions of it, but there's been a few things that
that have been kind of questionable. I mean, the one
thing that that I have I've definitely harped on, and

(01:45:14):
that was the social media ban thing that seemed to
have been something that was very anti Republican of the
the kind of dictorial you know, we're going to tell
you what your children can and cannot do, and that's
that's something that when I saw it all come out,
I'm like, that's stuff that the Democrats do. Is there

(01:45:34):
a concern because we've obviously only got you know, one
session left before we get voting into the the the
governor's race and obviously other other races around the state
for state leadership. Is there a concern about the Republican
Party maybe going too far on some of the stuff
that they're doing with the legislation, and should they be
careful and use some caution on things.

Speaker 10 (01:45:58):
Well, I think you should always listen, if especially if
you're a.

Speaker 12 (01:46:01):
Legislature to what's happening on the ground and talking to
the base Republican voters. That's why I think it's important.
We've come up to going on radio shows and TV shows,
But I also think it's important that they stay involved
with their local parties and their local grassroots entities because
they need to hear that message of what matters to
actual voters. You know, I think by and large we've

(01:46:22):
had the most conservative legislature in the country by.

Speaker 10 (01:46:25):
By country mile. Oh yeah.

Speaker 12 (01:46:27):
And you always get to these points where there's some
things that are questions, and that's why we have to
hold our leaders accountable. But I think that there is
the upcoming leadership in both the House and the Senate
are very conservative. The Houses are both conservative, so I
think we're going to continue to move down that positive road.
But we always have to be vigilant to make sure
that people don't get off off message, off.

Speaker 11 (01:46:49):
Brand, because it gets easy sometimes to.

Speaker 12 (01:46:51):
See what it looks like from Tallahassee and not on
the ground in you know, in Niceville or Claremont or
any of these other places where people are actually doing
real work.

Speaker 9 (01:47:02):
Yeah, yeah, you're right.

Speaker 8 (01:47:03):
The shutdown, the Schumer shutdown that's going on. Any prediction
on this, My prediction is after the no King's rallies
that are happening this Saturday, that Monday, they'll reopen because
they need to get through that. What are your thoughts
on the shutdown.

Speaker 10 (01:47:19):
Yeah, I think the shutdown is the Democrats.

Speaker 12 (01:47:21):
Shutdown is clearly being led by the radical left of
the Democrat Party. They're holding Schumor hostage for this rally
that is obviously funded by China and Soros, which is amazing,
and I believe that they'll capitulate. I mean, they're taking
on water. They claim that they're not, but they are.
We're seeing it in the polling. People don't understand why
they can't do what they've done thirteen other times in

(01:47:43):
the last couple of years and just pass a clean
cr And you know, we're arguing over Obamacare subsisties, and
we can have that conversation, but I don't think there's
anything that shows that Obamacare is failing as much as
how much these subsidies are keeping it alive.

Speaker 10 (01:47:59):
And we have to have.

Speaker 12 (01:48:00):
Honest conversation about healthcare moving forward, which.

Speaker 11 (01:48:02):
Means taking on their golden calf.

Speaker 12 (01:48:05):
Of Obamacare at some point because these subsidies are unsustainable.

Speaker 10 (01:48:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:48:08):
Well, I can tell you as somebody who has had
to been on the ACA for and thankfully it was
only two months, it's crap. I mean it's absolute crap,
and it doesn't benefit people in the way that you think,
especially if you are somebody who has a health.

Speaker 9 (01:48:22):
Condition and need it. It's absolutely crap.

Speaker 8 (01:48:25):
And the thing that I keep saying is that both
parties are Republican and the Democrats, they need to focus
on the actual health care costs and stop with this
whole thing about getting people on insurance. Because I use
an example of a story that yesterday I was picking
up some medication and saw a young woman who has
insurance was trying to get a prescription and it was

(01:48:46):
going to cost her seventy dollars. That doesn't help any
she wasn't able to get That she's got insurance doesn't
mean anything if you still can't afford the healthcare. And
I think that's one of the things that both parties
are completely ignoring, is the actual product itself, that's the healthcare,
and how is so expensive and why? And I think
that they're they're they're missing the boat when it comes

(01:49:08):
to that conversation.

Speaker 12 (01:49:10):
One hundred percent. I think I will give President Trump
credit here. He's the first president who's really gone after
the pharmaceutical industries, and you've seen the deals that they've
cut that will lower those costs, and he's willing to
take make those hard fights.

Speaker 10 (01:49:23):
And you know, and we talked about the shutdown a
second ago.

Speaker 12 (01:49:25):
It's costing Florida nine hundred and eleven million dollars a
week for this government shutdown and that's not helping anybody
who to afford anything, right.

Speaker 9 (01:49:34):
Yeah, it's a big old mess.

Speaker 8 (01:49:36):
Evan Power, Chairman of the Republican Florida, Florida Republican Party.

Speaker 9 (01:49:40):
And there we go. We'll get it out. Thanks so
much for coming on.

Speaker 8 (01:49:43):
I definitely look forward to chatting with you some more
as we approach into the election season and really get going.
Twenty twenty six is going to be a big year
for Florida and we got to make sure that we fight. Evan,
thanks so much for coming on.

Speaker 9 (01:49:55):
Appreciate it, Thank you anytime.

Speaker 8 (01:49:57):
Absolutely, Evan Power Ours the Chairman of the Florida Republican Party.

Speaker 9 (01:50:03):
Again.

Speaker 8 (01:50:04):
It's gonna be an important year next year for us
to make sure that we win. Messaging has got to
be the big important thing. We got to take a
quick break.

Speaker 9 (01:50:12):
We'll be right back. This is the Brian Rust Show.

Speaker 8 (01:50:14):
Good morning, all right, Welcome back to the Brian Rush

(01:50:35):
Show here at Florida Man Radio and streaming at Rumble
and Wimken as well. Big thanks to Evan Power, the
chairman of the Florida Republican Party.

Speaker 9 (01:50:44):
Interesting conversation.

Speaker 8 (01:50:45):
I definitely have to have him back on to have
some more chats with him.

Speaker 9 (01:50:49):
Coming up, by the way, tomorrow on the show.

Speaker 8 (01:50:53):
Hopefully we're we're going to getting this to happen for us.
Chris Salito from Newsmax going to be joining us tomorrow.
We're going to talk about his new book, The Rise
of the Liberty Loving Latino, which is something that the
Republican Party sometimes has forgotten about. But the number of
Hispanic voters that have turned to the Republican side, that

(01:51:15):
number is huge, and we're going to talk about that
in his book, plus much more tomorrow on the show
for our Red Friday Show. And of course we'll also
have the Doster Boys will be joining us tomorrow on
the show as well. It's already Friday. How did this
week just? It just went by so quickly. But anyhow,
we do have to keep fighting. This is the thing

(01:51:36):
that we have to remember that the messaging. We can't
leave it up to the party whatsoever.

Speaker 9 (01:51:41):
To do it.

Speaker 8 (01:51:42):
We've got to get out there. We've got to communicate
to people. We've got to get this message out. This
is why it's so important for shows like this. And
you know, the more that you guys spread the show
and let people know that it's here, the more people
that we can educate about this.

Speaker 9 (01:51:56):
So do what you.

Speaker 8 (01:51:57):
Can't help inform people that we're here so that they
can listen to the show.

Speaker 9 (01:52:00):
We'd appreciate that. All right, we got to take our
bottom of the hour break.

Speaker 8 (01:52:03):
We'll be right back. This is the Brian Rust Show.
Good morning and happy Thursday. All right, welcome back to
the Brian Rust Show here on Florida Man Radio and
Rumble Wimkin and of course the podcast. You can check

(01:52:24):
us out at the Brian Rustshow dot com. That's official
show website, links to some of our guests, also links
to our merch store, links to a few other If
we're growing the website, we're gonna do more with the
website as well, so you check that out.

Speaker 9 (01:52:37):
Once again.

Speaker 8 (01:52:37):
Big thanks to Evan Power, the chairman of the Florida
Republican Party, here doing a little interview. If you missed it,
you can again grab that on the podcast, good conversation,
everything that I've heard about the guy, and I've met
him on a couple of occasions. We actually were sharing

(01:52:58):
the story of when we when we did first meet,
and it was at a time when we were at
a Republican party dinner, and it was a funny story
and it makes me giggle every time because I like
to h to remind the the staff at Congressman Dune's
office what had happened. And it was a It was
one of those Lincoln Day dinners, and I forgot where

(01:53:20):
it was, to be honest with you, it was like
Washington County, Holmescot was.

Speaker 9 (01:53:23):
It was somewhere up that way.

Speaker 8 (01:53:25):
And I got a last minute phone call from the
congressman saying, hey, we got an extra seat.

Speaker 9 (01:53:31):
Can you go up? And do you want to go
up to do this this thing? I was like, chair,
why not? Who turns down a free dinner?

Speaker 10 (01:53:37):
Right?

Speaker 8 (01:53:37):
So I went up, and of course I'm seeing a
whole bunch of people from here in the Bay County
area that I that I'm familiar with. And I get
up there and Rick Scott is the is the actual
keynote speaker for the event, and Rick's going around and
and you know, he and I have had a friendship
for for quite some time now, ever since he was governor.
And he comes up and says hi to me, and

(01:53:58):
you know, he gets up on the stage and he's
he's doing all of the you know, thanking the different people,
and you know, thanking this supporter and thanking this portion,
and and pointing out, you know, the the state attorney
and pointing out you know, this state Rep. And that
State Rep. And then he goes, oh, and then over
there in the corner over there, that's Brian Rust with
the Brian Rush Show and make sure you tune in

(01:54:18):
and listen to him, and gives this whole spiel and
he's like, and then you know Congressman Dunn's team if
you ever need anything with the with Congressman done, they're
sitting over there with Brian. Needless to say, everybody at
the table turn around and looked at me, was like,
are you kidding me? You're a guest on our table.
So it was just it was kind of a funny experience.
And ever since then, I kind of I still poke

(01:54:40):
at the Congressman's team over that story because it was
it was just kind of funny to see what had happened. Anyhow,
a lot of other things that are going on in
the world, including Trump's terriffs, you know, the Trump tariffs
that are supposed to be so horrible that it is
it's going to be a an end of the world,

(01:55:01):
is gonna crush our economy and it's just gonna be
so bad because nobody is as good as an auto
pen when it comes to.

Speaker 9 (01:55:10):
Actually fixing the economy.

Speaker 8 (01:55:13):
I mean, I thought that fixing the economy was like,
you know, growing the GDP, making sure the stock market
did well, keeping inflation down, not increasing inflation to forty
year highs.

Speaker 9 (01:55:26):
But apparently I was wrong on that.

Speaker 8 (01:55:28):
So Donald Trump apparently is bad unless you look at
what's actually going on. And one of the triumphs that
he has now had is with a lot of the automakers.
And again, this one's going right into the rust belt,
an area that Donald Trump unexpectedly won and won pretty well,

(01:55:50):
which had all the Democrats going, how did this happen?
And Donald Trump's living up to the promises that he
made to the rust belt with with bringing some of
these jobs back.

Speaker 9 (01:56:00):
Donald Trump had put a twenty.

Speaker 8 (01:56:02):
Five percent tariff on the foreign made cars, and it
has now scored the rust Belt, which I love the
name of that, by the way, just for personal reasons,
A very major manufacturing victory. As Stellantis, who is the
people that own you, Dodge and Chrysler. I now say
thirteen billion dollar investment in plans to reshore some of

(01:56:23):
the production from overseas and bring it back into the
rust Belt area. Yesterday, the executives of the automaker said
that they would invest into billions into into the United
States market, including more than six hundred million dollars to
reopen the Belvidere assembly plant in Belvidere, Illinois, which, hey, pricksker,

(01:56:45):
how do you feel about that one?

Speaker 9 (01:56:47):
Now, fat boy?

Speaker 8 (01:56:48):
Maybe they can build a vehicle big enough to haul
you around and your stupid ego, which should be deflated
after a lot of this, which that thing, that plant
had closed under the Biden administration. You know, Donald Trump
not able to do anything. Look what he did again
in a blue state.

Speaker 9 (01:57:06):
You know.

Speaker 8 (01:57:06):
Can I point this out once again the number of
things that Donald Trump has done to improve the lives
in blue states, blue states, blue cities. This is one
of these things that should, in a lot of ways
make everybody go, what the hell is going on? Why

(01:57:27):
is the Republican president doing all of these things to
improve the lives in the Blue states, mostly because the
lives of the Red states are doing okay. It's the
Blue states that just suck to high heaven and he
is getting in there to what's that slogan again, Oh yes,
make America great. Under people like Joe Biden Barack Obama.

(01:57:54):
We saw that they focused and concentrated so much on
the Blue states when it came to fundation and doing
everything else that they did.

Speaker 9 (01:58:02):
You didn't see them do what Donald Trump does. You
didn't see them focus on the Red states to make
sure the Red states are doing well. Instead, they fought
the Red States. And now here you are with yet
another success under Donald Trump's belt. And of course, the
other thing that people have to understand is that a
lot of this stuff, while the promises are being made now,

(01:58:23):
the groundwork gets laid now, it does take some time
for it to kick in. So as the Democrats starts saying.

Speaker 8 (01:58:30):
Oh, I thought Donald Trump was getting all these investments
into the rust belt and all these auto manufacturing, how
come it hasn't happened? Well, because it takes time to
number one, build facilities. And number two, when you shut
down a facility, it takes time to get that facility
back up and running. So we have to remind everybody

(01:58:50):
of that once the counter message starts coming out. But
he's doing a successful job. And again when it came
to Trump one point zero, there was a lot of
things that Donald Trump did that was taking a fact
just before COVID.

Speaker 9 (01:59:06):
COVID happened.

Speaker 8 (01:59:07):
Obviously, it shut down so much of the world, but
because of all of the groundwork that Donald Trump had
laid and it started, the manufacturing started. They started to
find the locations, pick the locations, develop the plans, get
all the gate bazillion different permits that need to be done,
and they started building it. And yes, it rolled into

(01:59:29):
the Biden administration. When the Biden administration turns around, they're like,
look what we did for manufacturing. It doesn't work that
way a manufacturing plant. You're not going to announce on
Monday that we're going to open up a big manufacturing
plant in your city and expect it to be ready
in weeks.

Speaker 9 (01:59:50):
Sometimes it will take years.

Speaker 8 (01:59:52):
Mostly because of the fact that government sucks and they
have so many regulations and so many studies and all
these other stupid things that you've got to do bef
or you can build anything.

Speaker 9 (02:00:01):
So it takes some time to happen.

Speaker 8 (02:00:04):
And all of the success that Donald Trump had in
one point zero, you know, rolled into the Biden administration.
And again when it comes to messaging, the Republican Party
was not out there to educate people about the fact
that it takes time. Warp speed JB. You're right, warp speed,
which Donald Trump did show that it can be done.

Speaker 9 (02:00:24):
You know, Donald Trump's not the only one who's done that.

Speaker 8 (02:00:27):
Rona Santis has also done this too, where you can
show that if you cut through all of this red tape,
that you can get things done.

Speaker 9 (02:00:35):
Like look at.

Speaker 8 (02:00:36):
Every construction project across this this entire state, well the
country for the most part. But like I don't know
if anybody's seen the construction projects in Jacksonville. What a
freaking mess.

Speaker 9 (02:00:47):
It has been.

Speaker 8 (02:00:48):
I mean, it's getting there, and it's it's starting to
look nice, but the ninety five ninety five interchange is
hands down one of the biggest sh shows, and it's
just such a mess. It's taking forever to get done,
and you're just wondering is it ever gonna be done?
You know, in the Panhandle area here we had Highway

(02:01:13):
seventy seven. High was seventy seven that took what twenty
years to do. Every time that you drive by, there'd
be like one guy standing there just kind of shoveling
with a shovel, and that was it. And finally it's
it's pretty much done and it looks great. We had
other projects here, like the three eighty eight project. Seemed
like that took forever. It's just about wrapping up. You

(02:01:34):
now have the Back Beach project, the Highway ninety eight
project out on Panama City Beach. That thing is a mess.
But we saw things like Ron de Santis when the
hurricane came through and it wiped out a section of
A one A. He didn't say, okay, well, let's go
ahead and work on rebuilding that and let's get all
the permits and the studies and everything else. No, he

(02:01:58):
looked at the people, the construction people, and said, hey,
get that opened by Friday.

Speaker 9 (02:02:02):
By the way, it's Wednesday. And they did it.

Speaker 8 (02:02:06):
They got in there, they filled the stuff they had
washed away, they put some black top on top of it,
painted the lines Boom Road fixed and repaired. You had
the on ramp to the bridge out to the island
down in Fort Myers. You know it got destroyed, banged
up pretty bad. What did Ron De Santis say? He said,
we have people out on that island that need to
get help. We need to rebuild that island. Get this

(02:02:28):
thing done, Get it done. Now, here's the timeframe. Boom
did it? Operation warp speed with Donald Trump when he said,
we don't have time for all of this.

Speaker 9 (02:02:37):
We're cutting through all.

Speaker 8 (02:02:38):
Of this stuff. This is what needs to get done.
We're gonna change this, We're gonna do this, We're gonna
do that.

Speaker 9 (02:02:42):
Get it done. Boom, got done.

Speaker 8 (02:02:45):
Government is the biggest problem when it comes to actually development.
And I understand that, yes, we want to make sure
that things have a good environmental impact study and that
you know that they don't.

Speaker 9 (02:02:55):
Just go wild on building things.

Speaker 8 (02:02:57):
But cutting down that red tape and making it an
easier process is something that we need to do across
the board. And I hope we see more of that
with Donald Trump. And one of the other things that
we're seeing less of with Donald Trump. And this is
a good thing. Donald Trump, along with Cash Mattel, they
did a press conference yesterday, and they were basically touting

(02:03:18):
the FBI's crackdown of the violent crime since the start
of the administration, and Trumps now called for his top
law enforcement officials to zone in now on San Francisco. Again,
this is something that should never happen, should not have
to happen. Let me rephrase that, Donald Trump or the

(02:03:41):
President of the United States, whoever it might be, should
not have to step into a city to correct the
crime problem. It shouldn't have to happen. And of course,
every single one of these cities that this has to
happen in is again what a blue city. But they
were towed some of the new statistics, and according to

(02:04:02):
the information that was shared by the FBI yesterday, it
has now arrested. And remember we are nine months into
this presidency and during this time period, we're giving birth
to a new country.

Speaker 9 (02:04:15):
Say what I did there?

Speaker 8 (02:04:15):
Nice little phrase words there, But the FBI has arrested
twenty eight eight hundred and fifty nine criminals just this
year alone, putting us on pace to more than double
the fifteen three hundred and eighty eight violent criminals that
were arrested in twenty twenty four. In the final full
year of the Biden administration. The FBI also went on

(02:04:38):
to talk about how they have severely disrupted more than
one hundred and seventy organized criminal enterprises and gangs, sixteen
hundred of the most violent gangs, and confiscated over six
thousand illegal firearms. They've also tracked down and arrested four
fugitives on the most wanted list, and noting that two

(02:05:01):
of them were on the top of the most wanted list.
Trump also talked about the results of Operation Summer Heat,
which was a national criminal crackdown conduct conducted in every
state from June until September, and he said that we're
in many cities that people didn't know about. We keep
it a little quiet and had a big impact.

Speaker 9 (02:05:24):
And you know what, here's the thing.

Speaker 8 (02:05:25):
In places like Chicago, in Portland and these other places
that we're seeing the ICE operations in, they could have
been kept quiet as well. The only people that didn't
keep it quiet were the Democrats losing their minds over it.
And yet we saw with Operation Summer Heat the reduction
in crime in certain areas because they just kind of

(02:05:47):
went in, they did their thing, and they left with
all of the problems that are going on in Portland
right now with ice, all the problems that are going
on in LA with ice, all the problems going on
in Chicago with ice, and in New York City with ice.
You know, if you just let them take the criminals,
the bad guys. Yes, I know it's sad that they've

(02:06:08):
got a family, and they may have children and they
have loved ones, but they still conducted bad things and
continue to do bad things for the community. If you
would have just let them take them out and remove
them from the situation, life in your city would have
been better. We wouldn't have seen the ridiculous rallies. But

(02:06:30):
here's the other thing too, And we have to be
honest and clear about it because we see in the
media about all this violence that's going on in Chicago
and in Portland and how bad it is, and oh
my god, the whole city must be under siege because
Donald Trump is doing this, and with LA with ice there,
oh my god, it's so bad.

Speaker 9 (02:06:50):
It's not it really truly isn't.

Speaker 8 (02:06:54):
We're seeing it on TV, and we're seeing these butt clowns,
you know, protests, and we're seeing them fight the police
and fight Ice and fight the National Guard.

Speaker 9 (02:07:02):
And it looks really bad, but you know what's happening.

Speaker 8 (02:07:05):
It's happening in a small little area mostly right there
around the actual ice detention facilities. Now, there's been a
few other situations, like in Chicago, where there's been multiple
incidents of this, and this seems to be the new
thing of ramming law enforcement with your vehicles.

Speaker 9 (02:07:23):
Now, I'm just gonna put this out here for the criminals.

Speaker 8 (02:07:26):
Do understand there is a phrase of FAFO and law
enforcement is one hundred percent within their rights. And now
also keep in mind this that federal law enforcement plays
under a different set of rules of conduct than local
police and state police. You come at them with your
car to try and run them over, do not be

(02:07:49):
surprised when they turn you into Swiss cheese. At this point,
the few people that have been involved in this, even
though they did open fire in one of them, you
are lucky to you'll be alive, because in reality, those
law enforcement people should have dumped every single magazine they
had into you when they were done shooting. They should

(02:08:13):
have looked at it and said, there's nothing left but
a bag of flesh and a puddle on the floor
of the floorboard of the truck. That's what they should
have done, and don't be surprised if it doesn't happen.
All Right, we gotta take it one more last break.
We'll be right back. This is the Brian Rush Show.
You're listening to the Florida Man Radio. We'll be right back.

Speaker 7 (02:08:34):
Oh that's right.

Speaker 9 (02:08:46):
All right, welcome back to the show. Good morning, watching more.

Speaker 8 (02:08:50):
Of the the Democrats taking the social media and uh
watching the latest one. Oppa, Mama the op Karen uh chappelle, heme.

Speaker 13 (02:09:03):
We're here in the in the in the Capitol building,
and look there's an empty hallway. Oh look there's another
empty hallway. Where are the Republicans. The Democrats are in Washington,
d C. We're ready to negotiating, dealing over the government.
He wearing the Republicans. You know where the Republicans are, Opampa.

Speaker 8 (02:09:24):
They're back home right now talking there to their constituents,
listening to their people. That's where they're at. Why because
there's nothing to do right now in Washington. Because the
Republicans in the House did their job. You guys, by
the way, fought that they did their job, handed it
over to the Senate. Let them do their thing, and

(02:09:44):
now the Democrats in the Senate are holding everything back.
And to be honest with you, I'm tired of hearing
the emeigon we got into healthcare, we got a lower
the hellcare and again no solutions, those solutions whatsoever, just
reiterating the talking points. And seriously, I don't know who

(02:10:09):
told some of these people that they should be the
ones taking to social media, because I can tell you
now seeing the Opa loompa Karen getting out there and
doing it. By the way, she's she's wearing a purple shirt,
which does not help with me calling you an Opa loompa.
It just it doesn't do anything for me. It just
doesn't do anything. We're out here, Yeah, you're there. Why

(02:10:33):
didn't you go back home? You know that you're not
gonna be able to do anything. Go back home and
talk to your constituents.

Speaker 9 (02:10:39):
Oh wait, oh I get it. See, if you go
back to your constituents and talk to them, they might
ask you some questions. You're not gonna like.

Speaker 8 (02:10:51):
That's why the Democrats just stay in Washington, right, could be,
but yeah, the shutdown continues. Yesterday, there was yet another
vote in the Senate. Senate Democrats continuing to just not
want to open the government. And I'm telling you that
it's going to last until Monday. Monday, it will reopen,

(02:11:16):
and it will reopen because of the no King's rally,
because of the fact that the Democrats have so much
fear over a small portion of their base. And here's
the thing too, that that even the Democrats won't admit to,
but they should, and that is the fact that all
of these protesters that you have out there, they are

(02:11:38):
people who they're a minority of the party because like Republicans,
the Democrats who are not, by the way the Liberals
are progressives, they're just the Democrats. Most of them are
off working too. They got families to raise, they got
businesses to run, they got things to do. They don't

(02:12:02):
have time to get out there and do all this stuff.
And according to a lot of the polling that is
being shown, even they want the Democrat Party to open Congress,
back up, open the government, get it going. But the
only people that the Democrats pay attention to are the
ones that make the absolute most noise, and they are

(02:12:24):
always the minority of people. Pay attention to the masses.
If you actually would go back to your district and
talk to just the regular people, go into businesses and
ask how people are doing. You might be surprised at
the answers that you get. You won't like them because
they're probably gonna be against the narrative that you had.
By the way, Dean Boy, thank you for pointing that

(02:12:44):
out about the French press. I ordered one be here tomorrow,
so over the weekend, I'm going to play with that

him about his new book and the Latino vote, so

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
