Speaker 5 (01:41):
Hi, how you doing, Welcome to the show, Happy Monday.
You know I like my Fu Foo coffee. You know
that I don't hide that from you. I'm man enough
to admit that I drink some Foo Foo coffee, and
of course I drink knock it off coffee, which is
not fou foo until you turn it fou fuo with
is what I do with my coffee creamer. I'm kind

(02:04):
of confused this morning. I'm gonna gonna be honest with you,
and I'm a little tired. Mom had got some of
the fu fu coffee creamer things for I guess when
I visited for the holiday. She said it home with me.
And this one that I'm trying today, it's like a
caramel apple crisp, which, on the surface of this, I've

(02:24):
got to say, who the hell comes up with these
stupid ideas for these flavors, And as I'm drinking it,
I'm kind of going because I'm drinking the whiskey aged
barrel knock it off coffee, which has that that whiskey
barrel kind of flavor to it, which is good on
its own. In this one here, Billy, good morning, buddy.

(02:48):
I'm just I'm confused whether or not I like this,
because it's like you're you're drinking the whiskey barrel flavor
and then you have like it's.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Almost like an apple pie. I'm confused if I really
like this or not.

Speaker 5 (03:05):
I don't know. Anyhow, Welcome to the show. I hope
you had a fantastic holiday. Got to spend some time
with the family. I got to just not enough of it,
because well, work ended up calling and I had to
do some work and I screwed up something. Listen to
tell you how busy I have been for the weekend.
I added up my step count since Friday. What is today,

(03:26):
Today's Monday, So that was Friday Saturday. Since in the
three days that I had worked, my step count was
about forty five thousand steps. I'm one sore mother today.
I gotta just gotta say that, but we're gonna get
through the show today. I've also started to develop and

(03:47):
I think I got a chest cold of some sort,
so we're fighting with that. But we're going to get
through the show because we got a lot of stupid
to talk about today. And I wasn't even prepared for
this one to be the first stupid thing to hit.
But it hadn't hit because as I'm opening up everything
and I'm a little slow. Today, I popped open my
ex account to get my lip TRD feed which I

(04:09):
always enjoy reading, and the very first one that I
come across is doctor Rita Deed. Yes, our good old
doctor Rita Deed, the woman with a doctorate and gender
studies who can't tell you the difference between a man
and a woman. But her post that she made just
about nine hours ago comes out and says, name something

(04:30):
better than Tim Waaltz. Bet you can't explosive diarrhea. That
didn't take me very long. I would rather have explosive diarrhea.
Sorry if you're eating breakfast this morning, but I would
rather have that than Tim Walls. It would be a
much more pleasurable feeling. What is wrong with these people?

(04:57):
I mean, seriously, what is wrong with these people? You
look at the whole situation that is coming about exactly Alan,
It's a spiked apple pie flavor, which actually, if it
wasn't for the fact I got to go to work today,
I would spike it with a little something else, but
I'm not gonna do that.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
But I don't understand what's wrong with these people. Now
I can.

Speaker 5 (05:17):
Understand saying, hey, you know, I really agree with the
with the policies that Tim Waltsh has done. That Tim
Wallas is a great guy that you know, he's done
so much for Minneapolis and Minnesota, and you know, everything
is good. But when you just simply look at the

(05:38):
headlines right now, when you look at the the investigations
that are coming out right now, How in your right
mind can you even remotely go down the road of
trying to defend Tim Wallas right now. I don't know
if anybody has seen any of the videos that Nick
Shirley has done. Now, Nick Shirley, I love this kid.

(05:59):
I absolutely love this kid. He is somebody who started
off doing videos where all of his videos that he
did were basically just pranks, you know, trying to get
some clicks, kind of get some laughs. And they were good.
I mean, there are some of them where you kind
of look and go, man, this kid deserves to get
his ass kicked. But he turned around and he changed
and like so many gen Zers are doing now, which

(06:21):
we got to give some of these gen z ors
some credit, because there's a lot of gen zs that
are on the conservative side now, that are on the
MAGA movement and on this movement of what the fuck
is wrong with our government? And Nick surely happens to
be one of them. And he has basically transferred his
style of videos where he was doing these prank videos

(06:44):
to really being man on the street and investigative reporting,
independent journalists is what he's doing. No corporate tize, no
nothing else, just ditting back as a gen z and
looking at the things and going how's wrong with this situation?
And the kid has done some amazing investigative work into
the Minnesota fraud case, which has actually now sparked the FBI.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
To jump into it even more. And he was doing
some interviews, well, he wasn't doing well.

Speaker 5 (07:14):
He was doing some interviews, but he was just basically
did this series that is on YouTube right now where
if you go check it out. He is looking into
the daycares now apparently that's where the money is made,
like when you want a leering center. I don't know
if anybody saw this video yet, it is it is
a great video. The the thing basically looks into all

(07:40):
these daycare centers that are receiving just millions of dollars
in funding. Also all of these daycare centers being owned
by some Molli's And I swear to God this I'm
gonna I'm gonna start off with violence this morning on
the show that if I hear one more leftists coming
out and saying that Somalis are the best part of

(08:04):
our country, that the Somalis have contributed so much to
our country. I swear to God, after I am done
beating the snots out of you, it'll probably be next
week before you wake up, because I am so sick
of hearing this, because the Somalis have not contributed to
our success. They've not contributed to Boston, they have not

(08:26):
contributed to Minneapolis, They've not contributed to anything in this
country except for the amount of fraud that is going on.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
And we are in the.

Speaker 5 (08:36):
Tens of billions of dollars in fraud that already have
been discovered that have all been surrounding Somalis. That is
not contributing to society. When you're doing leering centers, which
is supposed to be learning center, but they fucking spelt
the name wrong in the sign, that's how much they

(08:58):
don't care. I mean, you want to talk about laughing
in the face of the American taxpayer dollars where they
put up a sign for a daycare center where they
mispronounce or misspell the word learning it's a leering center.
And how many millions of dollars did they get?

Speaker 1 (09:17):
Quite a few. Oh, let's go check out and see
what the chill.

Speaker 5 (09:21):
Oh, the doors are locked in the middle of the day,
in the middle of the week, doors are locked. There's
nobody here. Huh. Let's go to another daycare center. Seems
to be an awful lot of daycare centers in Minnesota.
We go to this next one. How many millions of
dollars did they get? Oh, looks like this one here
got two million dollars. Let's go ahead and check on it. Hello,
anybody there. It's the middle of the week, the middle

(09:44):
of the day, and playing some time when we should
have daycares completely filled.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Huh. This look it is daycare building.

Speaker 5 (09:51):
This one is a solid building with a name on
the side of it, with no windows. There's no playgrounds outside.
There's also nobody here. And you get these leftis that
get out here and completely defend him walls, completely defend
the Somalis. They are taking billions of your taxpayer dollars, billions,

(10:19):
and we got to defend them. How dare you say
something bad about the Somalis. They're such a good people. Yeah,
ask their cousin or their sister. They'll tell you how
good they are.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
In ben.

Speaker 5 (10:35):
Now again, I have asked for this question because I
know that there is some examples. There's going to be.
It's bound to be, because not every group of people
are horrible. Where is the example of the Somali who
has come to this country in the past five years
or so that has actually contributed successfully to society. Where

(10:59):
is it? Where is this daycare owner who has contributed
to the early learning of our children. Where is this
business owner that opened up this business in Minneapolis or
Boston or what are these other cities that are claiming
to now be sanctuaries for the Somalis. Where's this business

(11:20):
that has been opened up that helps out the community
and employs people and is doing so well, by the way,
just making money off of federal grants and state grants.
That's not being successful. I mean, it's successful fraud, no
doubt about that. People became uber rich over that. But
that's not being successful. Where are these examples? As the

(11:43):
left sits here and tells us over and over again
about how fantastic the people are, where's the example, Because
all we are seeing right now is the fraud, the
connections to the Somali terrace al Shabab. Where's the good examples?
I mean, I'm really hoping that there's some out there,

(12:05):
because I don't want to be so negative towards one
group of people. But you're not proving me otherwise. By
the way, here's a new tagline that we're going to
see from the left because we're seeing this a lot,
and especially with the Somali community right now. These are
the claims that are coming out, is that America was

(12:25):
founded on stolen land. Therefore, because of the fact that
America is stolen land, I can't be here illegally and
I have a right to the place. Yeah, that's the
craptastic line that the Somalis are now being told. I'm
sure by the Democrat overlords of what to say the

(12:47):
next time that somebody comes to you and says, hey,
are you here illegally? Your answer to that question is
America was founded on stolen land, so therefore it is
okay for me to be here because you stole the land.
Now you mispronounced something. It's not stolen, it's called conquered, which,

(13:09):
by the way, and I love our Native Americans, absolutely
do no offense to any Native Americans. But there is
a reality here and there is historical proof that goes
on this when you look at the Native Americans, the
different tribes around the country. Those Native Americans before we

(13:32):
got here also fought with each other to have territory.
So basically, what I'm trying to tell you is that
the Native Americans, which according to science and all the
studies that have done, were not formed here in America.
They just did and all of a sudden go poof
Native Americans. They actually came here from the Continental bridge

(13:57):
there that used to be between Russia and Alaska.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
They came across that.

Speaker 5 (14:02):
Way, they came down and they settled, and they settled
out of South America and everything else. That's the science
behind this. Now whether that's true or not, who knows,
but that's what we've all been taught. So technically, from
the very start, the Native Americans, they their ancestors came
to this area.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Now they may.

Speaker 5 (14:21):
Not have had to conquer it from somebody, but they
came to this area, so they're kind of immigrants. But
they all of these different tribes throughout their existence fought
other tribes for territory. So if the Native Americans come
in and they fight each other for territory and essentially
steal territory from other Native Americans and then white man

(14:44):
how comes in and then we take territory from the
Native Americans. Why is it bad that we did it,
but not bad that they did it? But this again,
this is the new line that we are getting now
that you can't say that we're here illegally because you
are on stolen land here in America. Therefore I have

(15:06):
a right to take what I want from.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Kick them out. Kick them out. That's all there is
to it.

Speaker 5 (15:16):
And you know what, I'm at this point too that
I really don't care about due process because if you
came in here illegally, then you obviously don't give a
shit about our laws. So if you don't care about
our laws, then they shouldn't have to apply to you.
Neither should the Justice Department have to apply to you.
Just get them out now. It has been fantastic that
when you look at the deportation numbers that have happened

(15:38):
under Donald Trump, and of course the left doesn't like
these numbers because it tells a story that they don't
like except for the fact that they're able to use
it as a fear. Is that there's been about two
million plus two million ins have changed so far. It's
probably up a little bit more since this number that
have self deported that have said Nope, that's it, we're out, We're.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
Gon we're gonna leave, We're gonna do this again.

Speaker 5 (16:00):
And because one the Trump administration had given them an option,
and the option was you can leave on your own now,
and for some of you, we will give you money,
we will give you transportation, we will send you out.
You go back to your here it comes uh back
to your homeland, and if you want to come back
to America, do it right, do the process, fill it out,

(16:23):
and then come back. These people said, all right, you
know what, we want to come to America. We want
to be part of America. All right, we'll do it,
and others just went, we're going to go now before
we get caught and get arrested.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
And all that other stuff. So we're going to go.

Speaker 5 (16:39):
So we've seen those huge numbers of people that have
self deported, and it's it's been a great thing. But yeah,
this this this whole thing with now saying that you know,
I can't be illegal because of the fact that I'm
here on stolen land anyhow. It's just getting too much
of these people. It really truly was and that's funny.

(17:02):
Obama gave us fleas. Yeah, yeah, they that's it's one
way of doing it.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
Look at me, I am the flea. Now. It's just horrible.

Speaker 5 (17:13):
By the way, Hopefully a lot of you around the
country that are that are watching the show, listening to
the show not being affected too badly by the winter
storm Ezra that is going through. Estimated about forty million
people in America are gonna be affected by that storm
that kind of started last night or yesterday going into
today will probably be a little bit of a mess
for a lot of areas in the Midwest, going up

(17:34):
into the New England area, which again you know this,
this actually is gonna be a good storm. This is
one of these storms that I'm not gonna make fun
of because there there is actually going to be some
freezing rain and there's gonna be some snow of decent,
decent amount. So for those that are in that area,
you know, be prepared, be ready for it.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
Get ready.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
But I was watching a news report and again from Massachusetts,
where I'm ashamed to say that I'm from Massachusetts, now
I really am, because growing up as a kid, it
literally took three feet of snow before the schools would
even delay school, you know, and sometimes they'd be like, well,
if you take the bus, then yeah, you're gonna be

(18:18):
a little bit delayed. But if you're walking to school,
get your ass toget her and go to school because
the school's open. That's what it took. I mean, it
took like three feet of snow before they finally started
delaying things and canceling school.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
But I was watching it, It's.

Speaker 5 (18:31):
Like, Okay, next Thursday, there's gonna be two inches of
snow and we have to close the school. Two inches
of snow. It's like, what is this a man talking
about this? It's about two inches. It's about that much snow.
It's gonna be crazy bunch of busses. Now, I get
it too that, you know, we are also in the

(18:53):
whole era of lawsuits, so that if a school bus
was to slide on the road somewhere and you know,
have an accident, you know, than than of course we've
got to sew the sue the school bus company. We
got to sue the company that made the tires. Then
we got to sue the company that allegedly built the
ice de icing equipment for the roads, and then you know,

(19:14):
there's that old lady that was sitting on her porch.
You probably saw everything going on, so we need to
sue her. So I understand that they get a little
sue happy, so they take those precautions. But damn, I mean,
just stop, stop and grow a set, because in Massachusetts
they've got some problems and more problems developing up in Massachusetts.
I don't know everybody saw this one. There's a mayor

(19:38):
in Massachusetts like this, this is how bad and things
are getting in Massachusetts. The city is called Lawrence, Massachusetts.
It's a small town right outside of Boston where the mayor,
who was born in the Dominican Republic became the mayor
of the city and literally can barely speak any English.

(19:59):
Like whenever he he has something going on, he has
to have a Spanish interpreter in order to do anything.
And now there has been a there's a lot that's
going on with this guy too. There was a Spanish interpreter.
There's requested over the weekend and Friday during a hearing
that this guy is involved in tied to the state

(20:19):
police oversight case, and the mayor of a Boston, Massachusetts,
United States of America town who cannot speak English had
to have an interpreter in the court. Now my question
is and but growing up in Massachusetts, Lawrence, Massachusetts has
always been kind of a heavy Irish kind of community.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
So there's a lot of white Irish people there. And
the fact now that they.

Speaker 5 (20:47):
Are actually electing people who can't speak English at Ricky,
good point there. How did he campaign? How do you
campaign when you can't even speak English? I mean, do
you That's a really good question, Ricky. And and granted Lawrence,

(21:12):
you know, it's obviously changed over the years, but I
can't imagine that the electorate in the city of Lawrence, Massachusetts,
has gotten to a point where there's so many non
English speaking people that they thought it was a good
idea to elect somebody who doesn't speak English. I mean,

(21:35):
and good follow up question, and listen, Ricky, how is
he going to conduct business? I mean, how do you?
I mean, if if you can't speak the language, the
native language of the town, that the language that is
the international language of business, even, how are you supposed
to run the town when a non Spanish speaking resident

(21:58):
wants to address the to the mayor of the town.
So I guess in a lot of ways, we should
probably be asking again, how the hell did this guy
get elected? Is there another level of fraud in the
city of Lawrence, Massachusetts where a non English speaking person.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
Gets elected. Things that just make you go m how
does this even happen? What's that?

Speaker 5 (22:25):
Allen the Minnesota lieutenant governor praising Islam? Yeah, did you
see this dipshit Jesus man comes out wearing what is it,
the jihob whatever the hell the thing is, the coveal
face thing. She comes out wearing that garb like getting
out there and being like, we's the part Islam. First off,

(22:50):
if you really truly support Islam. Lieutenant governor, by the way,
a woman, I have some bad news for you. You should
not be the lieutenant governor of the state of Minnesota,
because well, you're a woman, and you're subhuman, and you're
good for two three things. One breeding, two getting my

(23:13):
damn sandwich in a beer. That's really what you're good
for in the eyes of the Islamic religion. So don't
go off there trying to be the lieutenant governor and
try and tell any man in Minnesota, especially somebody who's Islamic,
what to do, because if you really support Islam, then

(23:37):
you're in the wrong shoes. As a matter of fact,
you probably shouldn't even be wearing shoes as a matter
of fact. And while we're thinking about this, where the
hell is my sandwich? Why are we still waiting here
talking give.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
Them a sandwich?

Speaker 5 (23:50):
These leftists are so unbelievably stupid when it comes to this.
They are so blinded by it. And I would love
to see like a psycle logical exam into the left
when it comes to this type of behavior. When you
stand here in your government, that including your governor, tampon

(24:11):
Tim sitting there talking about, oh, Donald Trumps, he's making
it so that we're taking away healthcare from Americans and
blah blah blah. You had like ten billion dollars that
was supposed to go to feeding fucking children and it
went to some Molley's instead and not feeding the children.
And then it goes to a terrorist organization. And you've

(24:34):
got the tampon wearing balls to sit there and say
that Donald Trump is taking away your health insurance. And
then the people that support this guy that are like,
oh my god, Tim Walla says so great, look at
how wonderful he is. Hey's the best governor ever. He
should have been the president, Ricky. That is the funniest word.

(24:56):
I was actually going to use that word in some
descriptions about the New York City fire chief the Lake Alattapuss,
But then I was like, oh, is that appropriate? But
then you know what, I don't care? Yes, and and
but look, let's talk about this is changing gears now
to more retardation that comes from the left. And believe
we can get back into the Minnesota think in a

(25:17):
bit uh, Mama Donnie, which again distraction and a little
bit of bait here.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
How does this feel? Does does this taste good?

Speaker 5 (25:27):
Because remember, Mama Donnie Islamic Muzzlim. The last thing that
he wants is a woman in charge of something. Now,
when you see this woman who is the being appointed
the the new fire chief for the the city of
of of New York, what what the hell is her name?

Speaker 1 (25:48):
Lilian lilian Um?

Speaker 5 (25:53):
You see her, and and it's it's questionable as to
and and believe me, I'm gonna be the last one
to say I think we should check, because I would
be afraid of checking and being like, let me see,
there's gotta be a holy hell, that's a burrito. I mean,
she's that manliness. But look, I'm gonna put it on
this way.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
That doesn't matter.

Speaker 5 (26:15):
It really doesn't if the fact that the woman or
any woman is picked to be the fire chief or
the police chief or whatever Department of public Works chief
or whoever, it doesn't. Whether or not you like the
tacos of the burritos, whether you're gay, straight, by trans, whatever,

(26:38):
none of that really matters. None of it matters. And
of course, with the headlines and with the hype of
all of this is that Lilian is gonna be the
first openly gay and second female commissioner that the city
is having it. Did you get the first part of that?
By the way, first openly gay? Hey everybody, Hey we
got an openly.

Speaker 1 (26:58):
Gay fire chief. Did you get that?

Speaker 5 (27:00):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (27:00):
Hey, did you hear it?

Speaker 5 (27:01):
Openly gay? It's openly gay. She's openly gay. In case
you didn't hear she's openly gay.

Speaker 1 (27:10):
I don't care. That's not the headline that I want
to see.

Speaker 5 (27:15):
Congratulations you're the first openly gay woman to become the
fire chief. It doesn't matter because now my question is this,
and I posted this on social media, and my response
to was, you know, something about the fact that didn't
we learn her lessons with La and there was no
reference whatsoever to the fact that it's lesbian, because I

(27:37):
don't care, and of course leftists attack me. Why do
you have to say that because she's gay, I don't care.
My question is are you capable and qualified to do
the job? We saw the Sasquatch in in LA fire department,
the big hole, I mean like linebacker look in lesbian

(27:59):
that was like deputy chief or whatever.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (28:02):
And she comes out on the cameras and.

Speaker 5 (28:04):
Was like, well, if a man is in the fire
and they're in there and expecting me to come in
and rescue him, then they're in the wrong place.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
No, stupid head, it's your job. And again, I don't
care who you're in bed with when you're in your.

Speaker 5 (28:22):
Home, But when I'm in my home unable to get
out of it because it's on fire, I want you
to be capable of kicking my door in, finding me
on the ground passed out, picking me up, and getting
me out of my house. That's what I want. I
don't want you to tell me that. Well, if you're
a real man, then you wouldn't have been there to

(28:43):
begin with. And why is her voice deeper than mine?
And of course, with this situation with the NYPD, the
only thing that they want to be proud about is
the fact that Lilian is openly gay. And oh yet,
by the way, has been on the department forty years
and has done all this stuff and it was involved
with nine E lefen and blah blah blah. Okay, that's great,

(29:07):
been there for thirty years in the park.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
What has she done?

Speaker 5 (29:09):
I can't call her she right? Is that an appropriate pronoun?
I'm not checking to make sure. But what has she
done that qualifies her now to be the head of
the single largest, single busiest fire department in the country.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
What has she done? Well? She was an EMT.

Speaker 5 (29:31):
Okay, she was an emergency medical technician, drives the ambulance,
takes care of you in the back when you're not
doing good, gets you to the hospital. That's great, okay.
I love those people because they save lives. Is she
a qualified firefighter?

Speaker 1 (29:49):
She is an EMT for thirty years.

Speaker 5 (29:51):
And the fire department fantastic, that's great. Has she ever
dawned on a firefighters suit, grown a hose over her shoulder,
walked into a burning building? Put the building out, or
walked into that burning building with a big, heavy oxygen
tank on her back, walked into a building, kicked the

(30:14):
door in, found an unconscious person who needed rescuing, and
dragged that person to safety. Has she ever done that?
Has she driven a fire truck, you know, the one
of the hoses on the back has the water in
it that you show up to fires.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
Has she done that? Well, she was an idiot.

Speaker 5 (30:36):
Now stop. So what you're saying is that you have
now hired a person to run the buggest and most
busiest fire department in the country and has absolutely fucking
no experience. Well didn't you listen to the interview?

Speaker 1 (30:56):
Yes? I did.

Speaker 5 (30:57):
I heard the interview, and in the interview where she
is talking about how I'm honored and so honored and
humbled to stand before you as the new fire commissioner.
This appointment represents a significant responsibility, one I accept with humility, dedication,
and a deep sense of commitment to the city and
its people. By the way, I've never put out fires before.

(31:21):
I'm not a real firefighter, just an EMT, which again
props love the fact that the EMTs love our EMTs.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
But you're still not.

Speaker 5 (31:29):
A firefighter, and you know, I believe that if the
firefighters need something, I'm gonna be there for them and
I'm gonna help them out.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
And well we'll do everything that we can't.

Speaker 5 (31:43):
Okay, So, do you have any ideas of how to
improve the firefighting section and the rescue aspect of the apartment. Well,
you know, if the firefighters come to me and tell
me so, you've got zero ability to lead these firefighters
with any sort of experiens whatsoever. You mean to tell
me that in the NYFD, which again single largest, single

(32:08):
busiest fire department, many many heroes that are within that department,
and you mean to tell me that there is nobody
a deputy somewhere, a priestinct chief, somebody, that there's nobody
there in New York City out of the entire NYFD

(32:29):
that was not more qualified than Lake Altoplus. You mean
to tell me that there was nobody from Boston, there
was nobody from Pennsylvania, somewhere like Philadelphia or Hartford, Connecticut,
or Springfield, Massachusetts, or Albany, or maybe out on the island,

(32:49):
or I don't know, as far away as Miami or LA.
You need to tell me that there was nobody in
this country that is more qualified than Lillian to go
out and be the head of the fire department for
the FDN Y Nobody out there, and again pay attention

(33:14):
to the fact that this is somebody that is in
Mamadanni's organization. And he's also retaining the female police commissioner
who's also just as horribly qualified for that position. But
keep in mind of who Mamadanni is, what he wants,
New York City is just going to be in absolutely

(33:37):
sad shape. And of course, now the question is when
you when you look at the New York Fire Department,
how many unqualified firefighters are now going to be put
in to the fire department, because well, DEI, how are
we going to see another result like we did with

(33:58):
la Now. I don't know if anybody's seen the headlines
the past couple of days, there was another large apartment
building caught on fire in New York City. If you've
never been to New York City, a lot of the
buildings are close to each other, some touch each other
for blocks. And the heroes of the of every fire

(34:20):
department really, but specifically the fire department in New York,
they are amazing to watch them do their job. How
they get in there and they put these fires out quickly.
It may the building may have been destroyed, but they
stop it from spreading. If you start getting these these
people that are going to be into the fire department
that are not qualified to be able to put out

(34:41):
a fire, if it's going to be another DEI hire
where it's a lesbian that gets in there and oh
my god, we have an openly gay person that's in
the fire department. Fantastic, But can that openly gave firefighter
rush into the building, grab hold of me and pull
me to say can.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
They do it?

Speaker 5 (35:01):
Are they willing to do that? That's what we need
to know. Are we going to have another case of well,
you know, if he's a real man, he shouldn't have
been in there. Oh yeah, because a real man, you know,
would make sure that his house didn't somehow catch on
fire in the middle of the night when he was
sleeping and then end up, you know, passing out because
he's breathing in all that smoke and everything. And you know,

(35:22):
if he was a real man, he wouldn't have done that.
He would have been able to pick himself up and
rescue if it wasn't for the fact that that firefighter
is probably twice the size of me. I'd want to
kick her ass, but she could probably kick mine, so
I can't. But it's the statements like that that come
from the left when they continually hire these people that
are willfully unqualified to do this. Let's hire a mayor

(35:47):
who can't speak English in the United States in a
relatively decent sized town in Massachusetts. Oh, that did nothing
wrong there. Let's go ahead and defend tampon Tim even
though he's saying that Donald Trump is the one to
blame for the Medicare crisis. But tens of billions of
dollars went into fraud to people weren't even supposed to
be here to begin with, and the Left is like,

(36:09):
this is fantastic, life is so good. Oh my god,
Donald Trump is the worst in the world.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
Oh my god.

Speaker 5 (36:15):
America would be so much better without Donald Trump and
these maga people. Can you imagine if there was no
backstop to slow this stuff down or to address it,
or to you know, actually stop it. How bad this
country would be if it was under Kamala Harris, who,
by the way, I don't know if you know this,

(36:36):
but if you make fun of Kamala Harris's cackle, you
are sexist. Yeah, so, ladies, for any of you ladies
out there that have also made fun of Kamala Harris's
hackle or cackle at you, you are also a sexist
individual and you need to learn to stop doing that
because I think it hurts her feelings.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
Her feelings are hurt now.

Speaker 5 (37:00):
Because of the fact that people make fun of her cackle.
It's well, we wouldn't make fun of it if it
wasn't for the fact that somebody asks you a serious
question and your response.

Speaker 1 (37:13):
To it is come, meli heresy.

Speaker 5 (37:18):
But can you imagine if she became the president, if
her and Tampon tim were in the White House and
we're making decisions and who would be in charge of
our FBI and how.

Speaker 1 (37:32):
That is a scary thought.

Speaker 5 (37:34):
It is an absolutely scary thought to think about that,
because at this point we can't trust the Democrat Party
at all. I mean, we can't really trust the Republican
Party in a lot of ways too, but the Democrat Party,
we really can't. Their idea is to get more and
more people like ilhan Omar, to get more of them
into positions of power. You have tampon Tim, which either

(37:58):
he is full blown retard, which pretty questionable in this one,
or how corrupt is he to not see what's going
on under his nose and then also come out and
be like it's all Donald Jump's fault?

Speaker 1 (38:13):
Is it really?

Speaker 5 (38:15):
And you want us to stop calling you retarded? Sorry, Timmy,
If you fit on the short bus, then that's the
bus you're gonna ride. All right, we gotta take a
quick break. We'll be right back. This is the Brian
Rush Show. Good morning everybody, all right, welcome back to

(38:50):
the show.

Speaker 1 (38:50):
Good morning, Happy Monday.

Speaker 5 (38:52):
Thanks so much for letting us be part of your
day today, Shoes, great question. Can you imagine what do
you would be like now if if Kamala Harris and
Tim Walls were in charge of the economy? But I mean, actually,
when you when you stop and think about it, because

(39:14):
the left is telling us all about it right now,
the economy would probably be better.

Speaker 1 (39:24):
Than it is right now.

Speaker 5 (39:28):
Because Donald Trump's economy is horrible.

Speaker 1 (39:33):
I don't know if you saw this.

Speaker 5 (39:34):
The new inflation numbers came out, Uh, the inflation rate
for basically November of last year.

Speaker 1 (39:46):
Of this year.

Speaker 5 (39:47):
We're we're still we're still yeah, we're still tony twenty five. Sorry,
just watch track of where we were.

Speaker 1 (39:55):
Inflation is at two point seven percent.

Speaker 5 (39:58):
Oh my god, this is the worst EPHR. Now say
the inflation is still up.

Speaker 1 (40:03):
It's so bad. Donald jump is horrible, really.

Speaker 5 (40:10):
Really is It's it's so horrible two point seven percent inflation. Okay,
you you.

Speaker 1 (40:23):
Do know that?

Speaker 5 (40:24):
Like and how this god these leftists chugment gives me
such a headache.

Speaker 1 (40:29):
I want to get down, Okay.

Speaker 5 (40:32):
Unlike Joe Biden, who you remember when he said that
the the inflation was uh had stopped because.

Speaker 1 (40:40):
There was no.

Speaker 5 (40:41):
Change from last month, whether when like the inflation rate
didn't change it was still at like, you know, eight
thousand percent or whatever it was. And he was like, say, oh,
inflation is fine, it's okay, it's leveled right out in zero.

Speaker 1 (40:56):
What do you what do you mean it's zero? Oh,
it hasn't changed last month.

Speaker 5 (41:00):
It's not how this works, buddy, You're still at a
high infla Jesus, do they not teach any basic economics anymore,
like even the simplest stuff. But while the left is
going crazy right now about the fact that Donald Chump's
inflation rate is at two point seven percent. Can I
just point out that in November of twenty twenty four,

(41:23):
hang on, let me, let me just let us check, okay,
that was under Joe Biden. So in twenty twenty four November,
Joe Biden's inflation rate was Are you ready for this,
ladies and gentlemen, hang on, brace yourself for it. It's
gonna be scary. It was two point seven percent, which

(41:46):
by the way, was up from the previous month of
two point six percent. So the fact that inflation right
now for November of twenty twenty five is at two
point seven percent, which is what it was one year ago.

(42:07):
Donald Trump's economy is the absolute worst ever. The economy
is crashing, and Joe Biden's economy was the absolute best.
That's what we're trying to get here. I'm just so
you guys understand how bad things are. And of course

(42:33):
we've seen some improvements that have happened with the inflation rate.
And again it is right now at two point seven percent.
And according to the real numbers when you really start
to look at it, the inflation rate here in the
United States four twenty twenty five at this point being
at two point seven percent for the twelve months ending
in November. It is, by the way down, down means

(42:59):
it's better than previously. Down three percent from uh from
basically the BiiN error. So while yes, inflation is still
up and it does take a lot to get it
down to zero, I mean it's it's almost impossible to do.
So there's always going to be an inflation because look,

(43:21):
all the elements are there, so it's always going to
be there. But it's down from what it was overall,
and it's the November one is the same rate as
it was for the Donald Chub's horrible. It's so bad
when it comes to the economy, and it's it's bad.

Speaker 1 (43:41):
By the way. The other thing too, is the crime.

Speaker 5 (43:48):
Right now, America is on a a violent crime murder rate,
the biggest significant drop in the history is expected for
this year, biggest drop in history. Now, in all fairness,
because I've always got to be fair about things, those

(44:10):
numbers started a decline started in twenty twenty three, that
is when the numbers of the murder rate started to decline.
Now I'm gonna say this because again I'm trying to
be fair about things, and I've talked about it in
the past. Under the Biden administration, one of the biggest
issues that we had was the way crimes were being

(44:32):
reported to the FBI. This was a big issue. They
were requiring things to be done in a different way
which would skew numbers. And then there was also a
lot of cities, a lot of sheriffs and police departments
around the country that were just simply not reporting. So

(44:53):
when you don't report and you compare them to the
numbers before, yes there's going to be a significant decline.
But under Donald Trump, with this year, it is now
projected to be one of the biggest dips that we've
ever had for the murder rate. Now, the left doesn't

(45:14):
want to give any credit to anybody on anything. They
don't want to do anything, and instead we got to
attack Donald Trump. We got to attack him in every
way possible. And our girl Jojo from Jurors, which again
just bothers me because she's cute, but she's just dumb
as a box of rocks. It's also posting on X
is piggy dying. So that's that's the new name for

(45:38):
Donald Trump. You know, try, I guess try to be
cute because of the fact that he called a reporter
Piggy a biggy, Piggy be quiet. Is Piggy dying? And
the reason why is because another person had posted a
photo of Donald Trump and they said that not only
was Trump's right hand discolored on Christmas Eve, but it

(46:00):
appears his left hand is now discolored too. There is
a photo zoomed in photo of Donald Trump who has
basically a phone receiver in his hand and he's almost
holding it like a golf club and it's kind of
down between his lap and he is just kind of
sitting there and his hand's discolored. Now I'm looking at this,

(46:25):
and we know because the White House has been open
about the fact that Donald Trump has got dumb. And
I forgot what the medical condition is. But it's basically
the condition with his arteries and his legs, and there's
a treatment for it, and that Donald Trump is being
treated for it. And he is also seventy nine years old,

(46:47):
approaching eighty, and he has had some IV treatments that
have been done on his hand. This is not a secret.
This is something the White House has come out and
admitted to, had talked about. It's not something that they
come out every single day and the daily briefing. Go, Okay, everybody,
I know that everybody's concerned about Donald Trump's treatment program
that's going on. Forget about all the terrorism in the world,

(47:08):
forget about the economy, forget about all this other stuff.
Let's talk about the hand. Let's talk about Donald Trump's treatment.
We're not getting those daily updates because they told us
what's going on. We know he's under treatment. We don't
need a daily update on it because the man is
able to function. But he is getting IV treatment. And yes,

(47:29):
when you are seventy nine eighty years old and you
are getting that treatment where you're having to get the
IV in your wrist or in your hand, which I'm sure. Look,
I'm not even sure I know because I get enough
medical treatment myself. There's other places that you can put
in IV. And should they do it.

Speaker 1 (47:48):
With Donald Trump at this point, probably should.

Speaker 5 (47:51):
They should probably stop doing it on the hand and
just do it somewhere else, just so that they can
shut some of the left up. But he's got a
black and blue mark on his hand. Again, he's seventy
nine years old, and while he's an amazing golfer, he's
not exactly the epit of me of super health. He's

(48:11):
not Barack Obama, who, by the way, is like what
thirty years younger than him, twenty years something. So he's
not an athlete. He's not somebody that is, you know,
a Jim rat. He is a guy who's overweight, who
likes to eat McDonald's, he plays golf.

Speaker 1 (48:28):
But he is who he is.

Speaker 5 (48:31):
So, yeah, at seventy nine years old, you're going to
see your hand.

Speaker 1 (48:38):
Have Bruce who knows he may have hit his hand
on a door.

Speaker 5 (48:42):
And we all know that there are people that are
at seventy nine years old, eighty years old where if
they do a simple thing like you know, walk up
to the boom, just tap it a little bit next
to you know, bam, black and blue mark.

Speaker 1 (48:55):
His hands aren't.

Speaker 5 (48:56):
Swollen when you're fat a little bit. But then again,
Donald Trump is overweight. We don't see discoloration of his
fingertips and other indication that there's a problem. No, you
see some of the veins. You see the pink and
the paler and maybe some reder areas of his hands. Again,

(49:17):
if you're seventy nine years old, eighty years old up
in that region, look at your hands are they a
perfect skin tone. I bet you anything. The answer to
that question is no. But Piggy is dying. We told
you you shouldn't. We shouldn't do the twenty fifth Amendment.
Get Piggy out of there because he's dying. Look at

(49:38):
his hands.

Speaker 1 (49:40):
Look, Jojo.

Speaker 5 (49:42):
As much as I'd love to play doctor with you,
you are not one. And I don't think that you
have the capability to understand what's going on.

Speaker 1 (49:48):
So do us all a favor and be quiet.

Speaker 5 (49:51):
Just stop talking. Donald Trump is okay, So can we
point this one out too. I gotta shift gears a
little on this because I find this to be kind
of funny. Now there's all kinds of drama that is
revolving around the Trump Kennedy Center. And first off, with

(50:11):
the name, you know, Oh my god, I can't believe
Donald Trump renamed it after him.

Speaker 1 (50:15):
Now they just added his name to it. Calm down,
it's not the end of the world. Oh my god.

Speaker 5 (50:19):
I can't believe that Donald Trump is is in charge
of the Kennedy Center, as that the chairman of the
board for it.

Speaker 1 (50:24):
Oh my god.

Speaker 5 (50:24):
It's the worst thing ever. Okay, Well, since Donald Trump
took over the Kennedy Center and booted out a bunch
of people and got in some new people. We've seen
record success in the Kennedy Center. We've had all these
actors in Hollywood, people and singers and everybody else be like,
we're never gonna perform in the Kennedy Center because Donald

(50:45):
Trump is running it. Okay, that's fine, go away. And
yet what happens. Record attendance at events, record fundraising that.

Speaker 1 (50:52):
Is going on.

Speaker 5 (50:53):
So I don't know, I'm gonna put go out on
a limb on this, and I'm not I'm gonna look
up the word, but I'm what, are you sure that's
a definition of success, right?

Speaker 1 (51:03):
I think so? So.

Speaker 5 (51:05):
Now, one of the latest incidents that we've had with
the Kennedy Center, and this was an event that was
supposed to happen in a Christmas show where there was
a musician, a jazz musician who abruptly canceled the annual
Christmas Eve Jazz Jam due to essentially his Trumps arrangement syndrome.

(51:26):
The musician, Chuck Reid, who was this year's host of
the annual Christmas Eve concert, had canceled the event following
the Center's board to vote to unanimously, which again the
non voting member that says it wasn't a unanimous vote
because I was against it, But you're not a voting member, right, right,

(51:47):
then it was unanimously decided to rename the institution the
Donald J.

Speaker 1 (51:52):
Trump and the John F.

Speaker 5 (51:54):
Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts and read and
that when I saw the name change in the Kennedy
Center website and then hours later on the building, I
chose to cancel our concert. Hey, by the way, did
you know that you're under a contract for that concert?
And now here's the ironic thing that I love about

(52:16):
the Kennedy Center and the Left with how they're upset
about it. Do y'all know that it's a gay guy
that runs the Kennedy Center.

Speaker 1 (52:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (52:27):
And not only is it a gay guy that is
running the Kennedy Center. And as the left would do it.
We don't do it, but the left would. It's an
openly gay man who is running the Kennedy Center, who
is now the center president. Oh, this is so proud gay,
We're so happy. But it's a it's Rick Gridell. Oh

(52:51):
Rick Grenell? You mean that gay Republican The Donald Trump
at point e the gay guy. Oh, I know, it's
so horrible, isn't it. I mean, if you're gay in
a Democrat, it's a celebration. But if you're gay and
a Republican, oh my god, it's the worst thing in
the world. But Rick Grennell, who is an amazing guy,
I mean he really truly isn't and again, don't care

(53:12):
about his sexuality. I'm looking for performance. He announced that
they're filing a lawsuit now against the jazz musician because
of the fact that he abruptly canceled his his show.
And I doubt the guy's got the million dollars to
pay for this damage. He might, but Rick Grannell had.

(53:37):
He said that, you know, your dismal ticket sales and
lack of donor support, combined with your last minute cancelation,
has cost us considerably. This is your official notice that
we will seek one million dollars in damage from you
for this political stunt. There you go, the political stunt.

(54:00):
And that's really what it was. Because again you look
at the success of the Kennedy Center under Donald Trump's leadership.
It has exceeded all expectations. It has exceeded the attendance
at every event that they're doing. It's exceeded the fundraising.
And then this guy who the ticket sales weren't that

(54:24):
great anyhow, decides to pull a political stunt and be like,
I'm not going to do it because you're renamed it
the Trump thing. And now, first of nobody's heard of
the guy, but now you're going to get sued for
a million dollars. So how did that work out for you?
Asking for a friend? All right, we got to take
another quick break. We'll be right back. This is the
Brian Rush Show. Good morning, all right, welcome back to

(55:07):
the show. Thank you so much for waking up with
us today, making us part of your day, and do
appreciate it, all right, checking.

Speaker 1 (55:13):
Out bazillion messages here.

Speaker 5 (55:15):
So Nancy Pelosi is once again stick it to her one,
one pony show that she has got.

Speaker 1 (55:23):
She's got nothing else, you.

Speaker 5 (55:26):
Know, And I really wish that at some point the
Democrats would look to find try and find something, or
realize that maybe there isn't something there, and that for
the greater good of the American people, that maybe we
should try and oh, I don't know, improve their lives,

(55:47):
help them save some money, fix healthcare, do something Nope. Instead,
we gotta we gotta rail on January sixth. And this
is the thing that I love too, is that when
when we keep seeing more and more details in facts
that come out about January sixth, and then we hear
about ohing on Donald Trump in January sixth, it's the worst?

Speaker 1 (56:08):
Is that really all you've got?

Speaker 5 (56:11):
Over the weekend On ABC's This Week, Nancy Pelosi declared
that President Trump, We'll pay a price in history for
what happened on Capitol Hill and January sixth. She was
discussing an HBO documentary with Jonathan carl and said that
we see what is happening at the Capitol. Uh, you

(56:33):
know what's going on? What's going on through your head?
Nancy Pelosi responds by saying, well, it's clear that the
president will hang up saying us.

Speaker 1 (56:41):
Clear it's the president.

Speaker 5 (56:43):
Then that as this America had incited in the insurrection,
and we begged him to send the National Guard.

Speaker 1 (56:53):
What that was me that said.

Speaker 2 (56:55):
We don't need it?

Speaker 1 (56:57):
That I saw I needed it yet, Ah, So.

Speaker 5 (57:03):
We begged them to send the nationaltle guy and typically him,
he never represented the truth like the BBC.

Speaker 1 (57:11):
The BBC just see the end of the view they
did with him. They they they they showed the video
on his cell. Let's go get him.

Speaker 5 (57:20):
She went on to say that, well, I was going
to send them. Well he she goes on to say that,
you know, he said, uh, well I was going to
send them.

Speaker 1 (57:32):
Uh, and then got out of there.

Speaker 5 (57:34):
And even Mitch McConnell was on the phone with us saying, uh,
get them here right away. But they never sent them, which.

Speaker 1 (57:40):
Again you know that. God, I hate our politicians, I
really do.

Speaker 5 (57:45):
If you're going to be in Congress, and if you're
going to be in the leadership, especially if you're the
number three person. Nancy Pelosi is the Speaker of the House.
Shouldn't you understand how the deployment of the military works.
It's not simply picking out the phone a National Guard

(58:07):
nine one one, How can we help you? What's your emergency?
Oh my god, we have an insurrection that's going on
in the Capitol. Quick send everybody. All right, we're gonna
send everybody clear the streets. They're gonna be coming in
with sirens and trucks. The National Guard doesn't go running
out of the barracks throwing on all their jackets and
their equipment. And grabbing their guns and everything else and
go running out to the trucks that are standing by

(58:28):
and jump in the trucks and go running off.

Speaker 1 (58:30):
That's not how it works.

Speaker 5 (58:33):
Maybe in a war zone, in a war zone when
when there's something going on, they're on the ready. But
the National Guard sitting around in Washington, d C. Is
not just waiting for the nine to one to one
phone call so they can all jump in and run.
That's not how they You, and of all people, Nancy

(58:54):
Pelosi should know that, So shouldn't.

Speaker 1 (58:56):
Tater Todd McConnell.

Speaker 5 (58:58):
And they continue to give a this lie about you know,
O'donald Trump never sent them, He never sent them. Hey,
let's back things up just a little bit, Nancy. Why
was it that the Capitol police and there was individual
members not the entire police, but individual members that were
there on January sixth, where while the police were standing there,

(59:21):
you know, watching over all of the protesters that showed up,
that were all standing out there screaming USA, USA, and
being pretty normal as far as protests go, not really
doing anything despite the Antifa looking people and people that
for some reason had a lot of resemblance to some
law enforcement that were breaking into the windows, and then

(59:44):
we're stopping protesters from doing that, because god, what are
you doing? Yeah, oh, did your law enforcement technique all
of a sudden kick in. It wasn't protesters that were
being violent. They were just there saying, hey, elected leaders,
we're out here.

Speaker 1 (59:59):
Listen to us.

Speaker 5 (01:00:00):
And then you had members of the Capitol Police start
throwing flash bangs into a peaceful crowd. Can we address
those issues? But Donald Trump didn't send the National Guard
even though he said, Hey, before all this goes down,
you guys want the National Guard, and you said no. So,

(01:00:24):
if there's anything that's going to go down in history,
Pelosi is going to be one that you were drunk
to You frauded the American people out of hundreds of
millions of dollars by using your insider trading. And three
did you continually lied to the American people into the
world about what happened in January sixth. She continued on

(01:00:47):
with her chat with Jonathan and said, the sorrow of
it all it also springs from the fact that this
president is trying to rewrite history. We have a different
narrative of what happened that day. Of course you do,
because you want a c you want to rewrite history.
Now here's the thing about history. History is based upon

(01:01:12):
events that happened. So if we have the President of
the United States who stands there in front of his
supporters and says that we need to peacefully walk up
to the Capitol Building and just let them know that
we're here, I'm with you, I've got your support.

Speaker 1 (01:01:34):
We're gonna do that.

Speaker 5 (01:01:36):
And then you have the BBC turn around and say
edit the whole thing, and of course you have to
edit to some b roll so that it doesn't look
like you edited what you're saying that he is going
to be doing that we need to go up there,
and we need to you know.

Speaker 1 (01:01:51):
Cause all these problems.

Speaker 5 (01:01:53):
If there's anybody that's rewriting history, it's the left. And
I think actually Nancy Pelosi is quite wrong on that one,
and history is going to prove that that Donald Trump
was not the one that was in the wrong. In
January sixth, when more and more people see the video
of Nancy Pelosi talking about how I screwed up and

(01:02:16):
that I should have gotten the National Garden here and didn't,
it's going to be you on the wrong side of
history and don't be surprised when it actually happens, and
then you get more things that the left does that
is just insanity. Massachusetts again, and I hate having to
go back to this state, but they're They're top in

(01:02:36):
the list of a lot of stupid things lately. The
Massachusetts Parole Board has just approved the release of thirty
nine murdered murderers. Murderer convicts. They just approved the release
of them. This after the Massachusetts Supreme Court gave out
a ruling on this.

Speaker 1 (01:02:56):
The Parole Board.

Speaker 5 (01:02:57):
Emphasized that its decisions are guided by legal standards and
though an evaluation of each individual's rehabilitation and readiness for
supervised release. The convicts that they were releasing, by the
way in parole, they're doing it because they were twenty
year olds or younger at the time that the lifetime

(01:03:18):
without parole or parole was given as a sentence. And
the Massachusetts Parole Board granted parole to thirty nine individuals
that were convicted of murder and who originally were sentenced
to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Now,
there was a landmark state case in Massachusetts where the

(01:03:41):
state Supreme Court decided to upend the sentencing practices for
you know, specific groups of offenders, including murderers, and under
the twenty twenty four Commonwealth Versus Maddis ruling, the Massachusetts
Supreme Court held that the that it is unconstitutional to
in life without parole sentences on people who were eighteen,

(01:04:04):
nineteen and twenty years old at the time of their offense.
So because of that, the court defined that those in
that age range are emerging adults, which I kind of
find funny.

Speaker 1 (01:04:18):
Here they are.

Speaker 5 (01:04:19):
We're gonna say, okay, well, if you're eighteen nineteen twenty
years old, you're an emerging adult. You haven't you haven't
bloomed and developed into yourself. So therefore, the fact that
you killed somebody intentionally, I mean you weren't yeah, I
mean you were eighteen nineteen twenty years old. You you know,
you weren't fully developed yet. So it's not fair to

(01:04:42):
turn around and give you life sentence for killing somebody
without an opportunity at parole, which is odd because if
you're eight nine, ten years old, it's okay to whack
off your wiener and make it into a taco and
and give you all kinds of drugs to turn you
into a faux female. That's okay because at eight nine,

(01:05:07):
ten years old, you can understand what it is that
your body needs to be. But apparently, at eighteen, nineteen,
twenty years old, you are not capable of understanding that
it is wrong to take a life. Therefore, you should
not be given life sentences without the option of parole
if you turn out to be a good guy. Only

(01:05:28):
the left are the people that actually look at this
type of situation and say this, it's really truly amazing
to watch how the left operates like that. It's just
it's mind boggling, It really truly is. And it's just
like all the stuff that's going on in Minneapolis, and

(01:05:51):
there's so much fraud too. And the video interview series
that has now been done has now actually sparked some
new uh some new sorry brain fart uh, some new
investigations by UH by the FBI because of the the
videos that Nick Shirley has done when looking into the

(01:06:15):
daycare situation and cash. Bettel has basically said that the
fraud scheme is now a top priority of the FBI
and this all coming on the heels of Nick Shirley's
explosive interviews and videos that he has done. If you
haven't seen it, go ahead and take a look at
things and uh and see what's going on. But he

(01:06:36):
said that the FBI is aware of recent social media
reports in Minnesota. However, even before the public conversation escalated online,
the FBI had surged personnel and investigated resources to Minnesota
to dismantle large scale fraud schemes exploiting federal programs. Fraud
that steals from taxpayers and rob's vulnerable children will remain

(01:06:58):
a top FBI priority in Minnesota and nationwide. Bettel also
noted that the FBI dismantled a two hundred and fifty
million dollar fraud scheme that stole federal food aid meant
for vulnerable children during COVID. Now, this shouldn't be a
surprise for any of us that the left doesn't care

(01:07:18):
about children. They only care about children when it makes
sense for a political thing, like oh my god, we
need to get money so that we can feed the children,
and then the children never get fed. And this is
one of the things that we're seeing over and over again.
So I guess if you're looking to steal some money

(01:07:38):
from the government, that's the way that you do it,
open up a daycare, say that you're going to do
something for the children, get the federal funds, and then
there you go. Now, the big disappointing thing about this
as well is that I think all of us know,
not only just in our hearts, but we just kind
of know that nothing's gonna come about this. Is anybody

(01:08:02):
gonna get prosecuted for what they have done in Minnesota?

Speaker 1 (01:08:07):
The dancers know.

Speaker 5 (01:08:09):
I mean, there's a good chance now that MI like Lindell,
the my Pillow guy, who is now definitely the one
that at this point is going to be the Republican's
choice for the governor's race in Minnesota, and of course
Tim Walt's running for his third term. There's a good
chance that he will win. But is there going to

(01:08:31):
be any retribution, any justice being done for all of
this money that has been stolen? And the level of
fraud two is amazing because it's not even like they're
trying to hide it.

Speaker 1 (01:08:46):
They're they're doing it out in the open. There's no
hiding this whatsoever.

Speaker 5 (01:08:50):
As a matter of fact, you even look at elon
Omar's husband, who has a he has a venture capital
company and it is reportedly now erased the names of
nine officers and advisors from its website, which is kind
of a suspicious move when there's a big, massive fraud

(01:09:11):
scheme that's been going on in Minnesota and a lot
of pressure and things being looked at with OMAR because
of the things that she had done. She had introduced
legislation that critics say have now actually paved the way
for what the Feds have called the largest fraud of
the pandemic. Her husband, which by the way, is a
white guy. I didn't even realize this. Tim Minette launched

(01:09:34):
Rose Lake Capitol back in twenty twenty two, and its
reported value quickly went from almost nothing to between five
and twenty five billion dollars. But of course that's also
the wealth of yvon Ilhan Ilhan. I always screw up
her name Ilhan. How she went from being worth only

(01:09:55):
about sixty grand to thirty million pretty much overnight. But
the investigation going into this saying that between September and October,
when federal prosecutors announced charges to eight more individuals, including
six Somali descendants, for their roles in the welfare scheme,
the names and bios of Rose Lake Capital's nine officers

(01:10:18):
and advisors were removed from the website. None of them,
by the way, have been charged with fraud, but it
is one of these things where you just kind of
scratch your head and go, hmm, what's going on? There
a lot of big names of the Democrat Party that
have also been associated with it that all of a
sudden their names are just disappearing. And of course this
also on the heels of the reports coming out about

(01:10:39):
the fact that Ilhan's net worth rose from the fifty
sixty thousand dollars to thirty million dollars in one year.
Then she denied being even worth that much. It's like AOC.
AOC does the same thing. She's like, I'm not even
worth that much money. I only make one hundred and
seventy four thousand dollars a year. By the way, anybody

(01:11:02):
see the the interview that Matt Gates did, who is
it with?

Speaker 1 (01:11:08):
It was Sean Ryan. I think it might have been
with Sean Ryan.

Speaker 5 (01:11:10):
He just did an interview recently where they were talking
about AOC and he talked about how AOC back in
the day, she used to be very much so like
she would she would be part of the community and
all this other stuff and then all of a sudden,
out of the blue, she just uh, she became really bad,

(01:11:31):
just suddenly. All right, we got to take another quick break.
We'll be right back.

Speaker 1 (01:11:35):
This is the Brian Rust Show. Good morning, all.

Speaker 5 (01:11:52):
Right, welcome back to the show. Cliff, thank you so
much for that one. It was Tucker Carlson. I've been
watching so many damn interviews lately and they're all like
molding it together. But yeah, it was the Tucker Carlson
interview that he did with with Matt Gates where they
talked about AOC with how at one point she she
used to come over and she would chum up with

(01:12:12):
the Republicans and be all happy and everything, and now
she completely changed and basically one of those don't trust
the girl. Would be nice to see the Republican Party
actually go after AOC's seat in New York City. And
I'm telling you now that with the disaster that's going
on or getting ready to go on here starting in

(01:12:34):
a couple of days in New York City, and how
the Mama Donnie situation may be, it might be a
little easier for Republicans to win a couple of things
around New York City with the absolute disaster that we're
about to see there.

Speaker 1 (01:12:48):
We'll see see what happens in the meantime.

Speaker 5 (01:12:52):
You know, the the big thing with the left when
it comes to you know, law enforcement, everything that they
love to defund. You know, when when when things are
going so bad, Uh, you gotta defund the police. If
we defund the police, we're gonna win things. Well, now
they've got a new battle of defunding. And Eric Swalwell

(01:13:13):
and I find this funny because the the Democrats, uh,
and and they I guess they're changing their tone just
a little bit because they realize, Oh, this isn't turning
out as great as we thought it was going to.

Speaker 1 (01:13:23):
And that's the Epstein List.

Speaker 5 (01:13:25):
The Epstein List. We got to release the the list. Oh,
it's got to be out there. We gotta, we gotta
get this out because Donald Trump is on it and
it's gonna be the worst thing in the world. And
we had all this stuff for four years, but we
didn't release it until now. So now we got a
wait a second, what do you mean, what do you
mean Bill Clinton's in it?

Speaker 1 (01:13:41):
What do you what do you mean?

Speaker 5 (01:13:42):
What do you mean all these Democrats are in it?
What's what's but what about Donald Trump?

Speaker 1 (01:13:46):
Donald?

Speaker 5 (01:13:47):
We gotta get Donald Trump into it, all right, I'll
tell you what. Let's let's you know, you know what
we can do. We can we can defund and and
we can control the funding for the Epstein investigation and
we'll defund Epstein.

Speaker 1 (01:14:04):
Yeah. Yeah, that's that's kind of the route that they're going.

Speaker 5 (01:14:06):
Now. Over the weekend, Eric Swalwell was on MS now
and they were talking about the the slow walking of
the release of the documents, and of course they were
expecting the entire dump which again there there's there's just
millions and millions of documents and everything else that are
involved in this Epstein case. And you know that that

(01:14:28):
if they did dump them all on the same day,
we would still hear the bitching because there's just no
winning when it comes to the Democrats and this Epstein thing.

Speaker 1 (01:14:40):
Literally, there's no winning on this.

Speaker 5 (01:14:42):
But if sorry that chest thing, If if the Trump
administration just said okay, fine, here's everything, the Republicans or
the Democrats would complain that, oh my god, you overloaded
everything and you gave us so much that you're doing
it to hide things so that we won't be able
to know it's all there. Go look for it.

Speaker 1 (01:15:02):
We can't. There's millions of documents. Well you want it
at all? Here it is.

Speaker 5 (01:15:07):
And instead they're giving them things as they are obviously
redacting stuff because things that need to be redacted, and
you can't just give everything out there. So they're giving
millions of documents at a time and they're complaining, oh,
there's slow walking it. What is it that they're slow walking?
They're slow walking the part where Donald Trump was with

(01:15:28):
the children. Look at all these photos that we saw,
the fake photos, you know the one where you you
showed us the photo of the redacted picture with the
little thing over the little girl's face. Oh that's his daughter.
That was That was the picture of Trump with his
daughter on his airplane.

Speaker 1 (01:15:44):
On his plane. Oh yeah, yeah that uh that was?
What's that?

Speaker 5 (01:15:48):
Oh there's there's stuff there, but Donald Trump is just
slow walking it.

Speaker 1 (01:15:54):
Yes.

Speaker 5 (01:15:54):
And I love all the photos too, with the the
Miss America pageants. Here's all the pictures with Donald Trump.
It's proof that he's a pedophile because he's he's taking
the pictures with the Miss America people. I mean, do
these people also forget that Donald Trump was actually a
social icon like he was the thing that everybody in

(01:16:17):
Hollywood and rappers and in New York, everybody wanted to
be like Donald Trump. And if you were in a
beauty pageant and the boss, the guy who owns it,
comes up, He's like, hey, let's take a picture. Of
course you're gonna be like, heck, yeah, get my picture
taken with Donald Trump. Jeffrey Epstein at a social event

(01:16:38):
was like, hey, Donnie the man. Everybody's talking about the
man that they have rap songs about the man that
they want in movies.

Speaker 1 (01:16:45):
Come on over here, man, can I get a picture? Awesome?

Speaker 5 (01:16:47):
Eh, well he took a picture with him. Must be
a pedophile. Now the idea is why don't we just
defund it? And Eric Swalwell said that it's when we're
responding about the question being there's been so there's been
slow walking the release of the documents that they have

(01:17:09):
had it. Is there any conversation going on amongst lawmakers
on House Judiciary which you sit on, about holding the
President and the Justice Department or the Justice Department or
even Pam Bondi accountable for this And Swalwall said, it's
not as if there was, you know, a big surprise
that you know, we'd be seeking these documents, and in fact,

(01:17:32):
the Attorney General had referenced about eight months ago that asked,
and why were these documents that we just found had documents?

Speaker 1 (01:17:42):
Jesus Christ. I can't even I can't even read Eric
Swall when he's talking. The man is such an idiot.
I didn't want to continue, but he basically gets in
there and he is.

Speaker 5 (01:17:53):
He's talking about how, you know, the Pam Bondi and
the DOJ and Donald Trump and slow walking whole thing,
and they're they're holding it back, and there's ways that
we could do this by by by adjusting the funding defunded.
And the reason for why they're saying defund it is
because of the fact that it's not turning out to
be the situation that they were really truly hoping it

(01:18:14):
was going to be. So now let's very quietly say, well,
how about if we just defund it. If we defund
it and change the funding, then then things are gonna
it's gonna go away. But you know what, here's here's
the thing. And I've been saying this for a long time.
The Epstein case is nothing more than a smoke screen.

(01:18:40):
I mean, are the crimes there. Absolutely are there perverts
there that should probably be brought out into the street
and put some lead poisoning in for doing things to children. Absolutely,
will anything happen to anybody that was involved in that,
aside from somebody like a sacrificial limb like Prince Andrew
or former Prince Andrew. No, nothing's gonna happen. Not a

(01:19:02):
thing is gonna happen. Bill Clinton is not gonna get
charged for anything. TIMU Obama, who was trying to get
himself involved in all of that thing, nothing's gonna come
about that, any other big Democrats.

Speaker 1 (01:19:16):
That nothing's gonna happen.

Speaker 5 (01:19:18):
And I think America needs to wake up and realize
that even though we wanted to, even though it should,
the reality is nothing is going to happen. And they
know that, and they are just using this as a
smoke screen in the hopes that there's something that we
can nail Donald chomp on. And wouldn't it be fantastic

(01:19:39):
if they took the effort that they do to try
and take down Donald Trump every single day, if they
put that effort into making sure that America is actually
safe that and making sure that all this fraud is
not going on, and that we're being taken care of
as Americans. Imagine where we would be right now the

(01:20:00):
mainstream media alone if they held Democrats accountable. And here's
the other thing that I get lost on trying to
figure out, and that's what is the end result for
the mainstream media and what they're doing. This is one
of the things I don't get. I mean, I understand
the Democrats doing what they're doing because they are trying

(01:20:21):
to retain some sort of sense of power, and that's
what they really truly want, is power and control over
the people because it's a socialist kind of communist way.
But with the media, what is the ultimate outcome? I mean,
what is it that they are hoping to get? Because

(01:20:43):
when you look at what it is that the Democrats
are doing, it's not good. And it's also not good
for the media. When the economy starts to go down,
it's not good for the media because the media relies
on the economy to be able to advertise, and without
those advertising dollars, the media doesn't do well. And for

(01:21:08):
the country to be safe and secure and financially do well,
you would think that the media would want to promote
this stuff would want to go out there and investigate.
I mean, think about the amazing stories, you know, back
in the day when journalism was actually journalism. If they
had the opportunity to investigate right now what's going on

(01:21:31):
in Minnesota alone, the media would be wetting themselves over this.
The media at one point, there would have been so
much competition amongst the media outlets and all of these
investigative journalists that they would have exposed so much stuff
in Minnesota that the politicians and the people involved in

(01:21:53):
all this stuff, they would just walk themselves to jail
just to get out of the way of it all.
So I don't understand the outcome that the media is
hoping to get by covering this stuff up, which is
exactly what they're doing.

Speaker 1 (01:22:11):
They're simply just.

Speaker 5 (01:22:12):
Covering it up. But it does make you kind of
wonder a little bit. If this is going on in Minnesota,
what else is going on in the country. What else
is going on in California, What else is going on
in Illinois, in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, all of these

(01:22:34):
ultra democrat areas, What else is going on there? Because
I can't imagine that Minnesota is the only place where
there is any sort of disaster that's really truly going on,
there's got to be more to it. By the way,
some other interesting news I don't know if they saw this,
but the railway to nowhere in California, where Donald Trump

(01:22:59):
had said, you know what, we're pulling the funding on this.

Speaker 1 (01:23:01):
We're not giving you any more money.

Speaker 5 (01:23:03):
You've already spent a billion dollars and you've got like
twenty feet of track and that's it.

Speaker 1 (01:23:07):
So we're done.

Speaker 5 (01:23:09):
And of course California turned around and said, oh my god,
Donald Jump, he took away four billion dollars with the funding.
We need that so that we can pay our friends
and stuff. I mean, I mean, I'm sorry, my bad,
so that we could get this rail going, the rail
to nowhere. So California decided they were going to sue
the Trump administration, and now California is dropping that lawsuit

(01:23:32):
against the Trump administration for pulling the funding for the
high speed train. They withdrew the lawsuit against the Trump administration,
which stant to recover the four billion dollars in federal
funds that were pulled from the states troubled in long
delayed high speed rail project. Instead, instead of acknowledging the

(01:23:52):
ongoing problems with the multi billion dollar Bullet train, state
officials blamed the federal government as not a trustworthy part
not a trustworthy partner.

Speaker 1 (01:24:02):
How the how do you justify that?

Speaker 5 (01:24:07):
Okay, here, we're gonna give you a billion dollars to
go ahead and build your train. Okay, great, Okay, where's
the train that we gave you.

Speaker 1 (01:24:17):
The money for?

Speaker 5 (01:24:19):
Well, it's there's like a half a mile of track
over there. We gave you a billion dollars. Where's the rail?

Speaker 1 (01:24:29):
Where? Where? Where's where's the problem? Where's it at?

Speaker 5 (01:24:34):
Well, we need more money. You guys are just not
being a trustworthy partner. Find you know, we're done. We're
we're not going to be a partner in a situation
where you're blowing through billions of dollars and not prodesting anything.

Speaker 1 (01:24:45):
So we're done. We're gonna we're gonna give you money.

Speaker 5 (01:24:48):
You're not trustworthy, Like any investor, you know, any investor
that would be investig in a project and they turn
around and go, well, where the hell is the project
that I'm spending all this money on? Well, it's we're
getting there, but we need more money. No, you need
to show me that you're being productive, show me that
you're making progress, and then I'll invest more. It just

(01:25:11):
does make you wonder a little bit though, too, because
one of the things that I think even the Democrats
forget about sometimes when it comes to these lawsuits, that
when you do a lawsuit, there's this little thing that's
called discovery. And I think when it comes to some
of these situations like the California rail thing, is that

(01:25:32):
they might realize that if we go through this lawsuit
suing the federal government for the four billion dollars, it's
going to be found out that, just like all the
other projects that were being done with the USAID, you know,
the billions of dollars that were being spent on a
project that got paid out but the project never got done,
that somebody in California might might get caught. So they

(01:25:53):
probably said, you know what, let's just let's just take
our money and walk away and and we'll pretend nothing
ever really truly happened.

Speaker 1 (01:26:04):
Oh so yeah, it's it's it's just a mess.

Speaker 5 (01:26:09):
And it is nice to see some of the Democrats
caving in on this a little bit, But you know what,
I want to.

Speaker 1 (01:26:13):
See some of these lawsuits going to effect.

Speaker 5 (01:26:15):
I want to see the the the lawsuits happen. I
want to see the accountability go down. I want to
see somebody actually get arrested. I want to see the
purp walks happen. But none of this is going on
at all. There's absolutely no accountability that we are seeing
anywhere for the left's fraud, for the the the the

(01:26:39):
stuff that the left is doing, and again they're not
even trying to hide it anymore. So this should be
some some fairly simple and easy investigations to be able
to get in there and do, but they're not.

Speaker 1 (01:26:55):
What's that tammy. The only way they'd be nailed is
through a military tribunal. I hate to agree with.

Speaker 5 (01:27:00):
That fact, but I have to, and I think that
that is probably one of the next things that the
Trump administration is going to have to do, is that
maybe it is time to do some military tribunals. Maybe
at this point, I don't think we can really trust
a lot of our Justice Department. I mean, sure, there's
some that are out there that are trustworthy, but every

(01:27:23):
day we turn around, there's another judge that is proving
that we can't trust the judges. So if we can't
trust the judges, We can't trust the prosecutors. You know,
how are we going to get anywhere with stopping all
of this stuff and take a bell? You're right, we
need somebody's head on a platter. Now.

Speaker 1 (01:27:44):
The problem with that, though, is that the.

Speaker 5 (01:27:46):
More pressure that we put on that eventually the Democrats
will just throw somebody in be like, hey, quick.

Speaker 1 (01:27:52):
Throw Timmy in front of the train. There we go.
All right, you got one. Pooh, thank god you busted that.

Speaker 5 (01:27:58):
There'll be some some sacrificial limb that'll be put out
there somewhere. But the thing is that I think most
of us at this point, and we can thank the
interwebs for this, that most of us at this point
we realize that there is so much that is going on,
so much fraud, waste and abuse, and again, almost eighty

(01:28:20):
percent of the wealth it's a high, seventy percent of
the wealth in America is all with Democrats.

Speaker 1 (01:28:27):
How did that happen? And now we see all of
this fraud that goes on.

Speaker 5 (01:28:31):
At a regular basis, and now it's kind of one
of those It answers the question, oh so all these
democrats are getting wealthy while the rest of us are
struggling because they're stealing money from us. You know what,
I love this too, because we have to have socialism,
socialism and communism.

Speaker 1 (01:28:49):
It's the greatest we should have it.

Speaker 5 (01:28:51):
Well, you know that in a socialist environment that if
you stole money from the government, they're not going to
go and give you a hug. They're not going to
be like, oh, yeah, it's just Timmy over there.

Speaker 1 (01:29:05):
It's not really happening.

Speaker 5 (01:29:06):
No, they will put you on trial, a trial that
most likely will not be a very fair trial for you,
and they'll probably execute you. So Dems, do be aware
what it is that you want so badly, because even

(01:29:27):
in some of the Muslim nations where you know, because
now we have to be like, oh my god, you
have to love Islamic law, you know, otherwise you're homophobic
and ray phobic and something else phobic and this phobic,
and you're just a bad person. But even under Sharia law,
you steal, there are consequences. They'll chop your hands off,

(01:29:52):
they'll execute you. And yet these are the things that
the Democrats tell us over and over again. We need
to be just like them.

Speaker 1 (01:30:02):
That's everybody right.

Speaker 5 (01:30:03):
Try this in a red state and and it is
George Soros and the the ng os, the the non
governmental organizations, and there is this whole aspect of just
trying to be the good person. You know, let's let's
help out certain organizations. And believe me, I'm one who
fully believes in some of the safety nets and in

(01:30:24):
being having programs to help those that are in need,
because unfortunately, there are people that you know, find themselves
in situations, whether it be a health situation or some
final or some fine financial thing that puts them into something,
or they're just unfortunately not that productive of individuals and

(01:30:45):
they're they're never going to be a huge part of society,
and we need to help them out a little bit.
So I get it that there are things there, but
we've got to stop. I mean, when when we just
look at what what doge has been uncovering in the
in the past, you know, eleven months, and they're continuing
to uncover more and more things. We're just not hearing
a lot about it because of the fact that you know,

(01:31:06):
Elon Musk is not a part of it anymore. But
they're continually finding more and more of this waste and
fraud and abuse. We're at thirty nine trillion. We're knocking
on the door on it, and we're not actually there yet,
but we're knocking on that door of thirty nine trillion
dollars in debt. That's just our debt, let alone, a
couple of trillion dollars a year that it costs to

(01:31:27):
operate the United States government. Think about how fast we
actually can pay off our debt if we would stop
all this fraud and abuse. Imagine where America would be.
Because right now we see things like here in the
state of Florida, which I've got a lot of concerns
about when it comes to the the taxes and getting

(01:31:49):
rid of certain taxes. Not that I'm against getting rid
of taxes, but I have a concern because here in
the state of Florida, I know obviously one of the
big things that we're trying to do is get rid
of the property tax, which don't be surprised.

Speaker 1 (01:32:02):
If it doesn't not go away, but it's simply reduced
and restricted.

Speaker 5 (01:32:08):
But we see that, we see other pushes to eliminate
taxes here in the state of Florida, the tolls and
stuff like that, and it sounds great, but the problems
are what's going to fund this and is it going
to be a situation where the funding instead if we
get rid of the property taxes perfect example, that what

(01:32:30):
they some of the talk was we'll raise the sales
tax so that way it's a consumption tax, which I mean,
that sounds great and everything, but when you have the
number of people out here in the state of Florida,
and this is one of these things where I say
it over and over again, think about the future. Think
about all of the aspects of what you're gonna do

(01:32:51):
now if you get rid of the property tax here
in the state of Florida. And one of the other
things too, is that it's just for the homestead and
so if you have multiple properties that you'll still pay,
you know for the other property. It's just not your homestead.
That's not really not a lot of people compared to
the number of people that just rent. So think about

(01:33:11):
the backlash on this one for those of us that
own property. If we have let's go with eliminated that
they eliminate the property tax, then that's us going a
few thousand dollars a year that we're not having to
pay in this property tax. This is amazing. And then
we go, okay, well, you know, the sales tax went

(01:33:32):
up on some things and the products that we're buying. Okay,
it's balancing out a little bit. Okay, I'm spending a
couple extra thousand dollars, you know, more and some taxes
for all my consumption, but I'm not paying it for
the house, which is great, because I own the house.
I shouldn't have to pay taxes on it and lose
it if I don't, So that's a good thing. But
let's take those people out of the picture. Now, let's

(01:33:54):
take everybody else who's renting. Now again, if it's one
of the situations where only the homestead properties are the
ones that don't pay property taxes, then that means rental
properties will still have to pay property taxes, and who
knows if those don't go up a little bit. But
you're still seeing the two thousand and three thousand dollars
a month rents for things that is little out of control,

(01:34:17):
and you have people that are struggling as it is,
and now you have a consumption tax state sales tax
that it's going to be higher than it was to
make up for the money that was lost with the
property tax and the homesteads.

Speaker 1 (01:34:32):
Well, who's going to get pissed off?

Speaker 5 (01:34:34):
All of the other people are going to get mad,
and many of them may go, wow, you know, the
cost of living here in Florida has become more expensive
by a few thousand dollars a year, and I'm going
to not buy this, and I'm not going to buy that,
And we're going to eliminate doing this. We're gonna eliminate
doing that. And what's it going to do to the
economy in Florida. See again, this is one of the

(01:34:56):
elements that I think that the politicians don't think about.
Now again, I am not opposed to eliminating or reducing
the homestead property taxes because look, I'm a homeowner. I
would rather not pay that. And if I didn't have
to pay a few thousand dollars a year in my
property taxes and I have to pay it in a

(01:35:18):
sales tax, I'm not gonna note that much of a difference.
But it's the others that will. And again, this is
where the dangers of the politics come about, because the
Democrats see this. Democrats do look a little bit further
into the future on some of this stuff than some
of the Republicans do. And what I'm afraid of is
that in this coming legislation session is that they're going

(01:35:41):
to pass this exact thing, and that it will end
up raising the sales tax, and the Democrats are going
to look at it and go see how much more
expensive it is to live here in Florida. Now, it
might not be next year, it might be the year
after the year after that that in the state of Florida,
they'll be able to flip more Democrat seats or Republican

(01:36:02):
seats too Democrat because they'll be able to say, look
at how the cost of living in the state of
Florida has gotten out of control, and it's already high
as it is. So that's another thing to watch out for.
We can find ourselves in a world of hurt if
we're not careful. What's that Shooes is not going to
go off that much what the sales tax?

Speaker 1 (01:36:21):
You know.

Speaker 5 (01:36:22):
The problem though, is that eventually they're going to say
we need more money, and the only way that they're
going to get the more money is going to be
on the sales tax, so they'll they'll go up with it.
Plus there's other questions when it comes to the the
property tax thing, because with the property tax, a lot
of communities use that money for you know, things in

(01:36:46):
their community, fire trucks, you know, equipment for the Department
of Public Works or whatever it might be. That's the
type of stuff of the use of you I have
new police.

Speaker 1 (01:36:56):
Cars, whatever.

Speaker 5 (01:36:57):
And if you're in an area like let's just say
we Law where there's like, what two businesses and the
biggest employer is Burger King, It's not like there's a
huge consumption tax that's going to be happening in a
city like we are, a town like we Wall, So
what happens when you take away all of.

Speaker 1 (01:37:12):
Their property tax money?

Speaker 5 (01:37:14):
Now there's also the discussion about how well you know,
the state will take in certain things and then the
state will distribute it.

Speaker 1 (01:37:20):
Well, again, how.

Speaker 5 (01:37:21):
Fair is it that an area that is very successful,
like Panama City Beach, we have all this tax and
revenue that gets generated here, but then it gets given
to someplace else so that they get the benefit of
our tax dollars and we don't get to have the
benefit of it.

Speaker 1 (01:37:40):
It's a very dangerous road to go down.

Speaker 5 (01:37:42):
And I think there's a lot of elements of the
what ifs and you really do have to think about
the what ifs, what could go wrong, what happens if
this happens, what happens if that happens. That I don't
think our politicians are really truly thinking about. I was
actually talking with with one of our state senators the
other day about some of this, and believe me, the

(01:38:03):
the thoughts that are going through some of their heads are, Eh,
this is tricky. And I know that that there's a
lot of pressure right now for things to happen in
this session. But gotta be careful. Got to absolutely be careful.
And a fair tax system is a great idea and
I love that idea, but.

Speaker 1 (01:38:26):
They have to be.

Speaker 5 (01:38:27):
Careful with how they do this because they also have
to control the spending a little bit, which as we
see the Democrats, they don't care. They'll spend like crazy.
And now the whole thing with the property tax, this
is one of the things that they're just going to
do as a constitutional amendment for Florida, which I wish
Florida would stop doing that, because if they don't think
about these things correctly, the chances of the Florida Floridians

(01:38:51):
actually turning around and saying, you know, what, Yeah, you're right,
let's repeal that constitutional amendment and let's bring back our sales,
our property tax. That it's never gonna happen. So it's
one of these things for once lawmakers in Tallahassee stop
making everything a constitutional amendment, make it a law that
going forward can be adjusted and fixed for the mistakes.

Speaker 1 (01:39:15):
That were made.

Speaker 5 (01:39:15):
Otherwise, Man, we're going to find our those in a
world to hurt. We really truly are What's that all
the tolls gone for the Florida plates? You know what,
I'm I'm not a fan of the tolls are really
not like and I'm dreading this because I'm going going
to Orlando again for my birthday in February. Last time
that I was in Orlando for like four or five days,

(01:39:39):
it was like thirty something dollars with the tolls that
I spend, which is one of these things. It was like, really,
why why is it that much? I like the idea
of getting rid of it for the Florida plates, but
now here's the butts and the what ifs? How much
is that going to cost for a system to get reprogrammed,

(01:40:03):
for things to be redone so that when it seems
a Florida plate that it doesn't charge the toll for
the Florida plate. But then again, if it's a rental
car here in the state of Florida, shouldn't the rental
car still have to pay tolls because technically it's not
actually a Florida resident. And then there's complications. There's a

(01:40:24):
lot to question about this. I mean, we could start
with simply, let's reduce the amount of the of the tolls,
get everything under control, and then look from there, they
just gotta be careful. All right, we gotta take another
quick break. We'll be right back.

Speaker 1 (01:40:41):
This is the Brian Rush Show. Good morning, all.

Speaker 5 (01:41:03):
Right, welcome back to the Brian Rush Show. Thank you
so much making us part of your day. We do
appreciate it. John goodpoint, it's amazing that USAID gets shut
down and lo and behold, the DNC takes out loans
because it's broke that and it's it's the left and

(01:41:24):
all of these organizations. This is the other thing too.
USAID gets shut down. USAID gets all that stuff cut
down with all their the funding, and now all of
a sudden, the Democrats and all of their programs and
everything else, nothing can be funded.

Speaker 1 (01:41:39):
Anymore. And it seems like the Democrats are the ones
that are.

Speaker 5 (01:41:43):
The financially hit, the absolute worst because of USAID being
taken down. Things that just make you go hmm a
little bit. And again the question that we should start
asking is why is it that the Democrats they hold
close to eighty percent of the wealth in America.

Speaker 1 (01:42:05):
Hmm. Interesting.

Speaker 5 (01:42:08):
So Donald Trump, remember, because I got to just remind
everybody that Donald Trump's the worst president we've ever had,
crashing our economy, everything's bad. Donald Trump's America First is
just damaging everything about this country and we need to
stop him, to stop him for doing this. Well, it

(01:42:29):
seems like his America First energy policy is also paying
off at the pump. And this is a love I
love talking about this one because we're talking about this
in the office the other day. When it comes to
some of the gas prices, it's amazing kind of the
difference that we've seen. And this is kind of a
repeat story with with everything with Donald Trumps.

Speaker 1 (01:42:47):
Amazing.

Speaker 5 (01:42:48):
It just changed out the president and certain things change.
But after peaking at above five dollars a gallon at
a President Biden, prices at the pump are now at
the lowest levels that they have been in more than
four years, and by the.

Speaker 1 (01:42:59):
Way, still going down.

Speaker 5 (01:43:01):
Today's national average for regular gas is sitting at about
two dollars and eighty five cents, and a growing number
of stations are dipping down below two dollars.

Speaker 1 (01:43:11):
The other day I.

Speaker 5 (01:43:12):
Paid was it two twenty five? I think is what
it was that I paid for gas the other day. However,
when I was in Jacksonville, I did pay about two
seventy something for gas there. But this is one of
these things that we are seeing a massive dip in
the price of fuel. Now, keep in mind, there are

(01:43:33):
a couple of things that are going on that is
keeping the price a little bit higher, and that is
the production aspect. You know, we even under the Joe
Biden administration, we were at mass productive levels. But this
is one of these things where we were talking about this.
How you can have an area like Jacksonville, like Panama

(01:43:54):
City and there be about a fifty cent per gallon difference?
And how is that both in the state of Florida,
the Freedom State under the Republicans under Rondasantis how is
this possible? Well, there's there's a lot of things contributing
factors to that. And one of the things that everybody's
gonna understand is when it comes to gas, this is
one of the areas that government loves to stick a

(01:44:17):
little tax in there. Now.

Speaker 1 (01:44:18):
It may not be much.

Speaker 5 (01:44:20):
Now, they may say, okay, so what we need to
do is set up a fund for such and such.
And what we're gonna do is it's gonna be you know,
point zero zero zero one sense per gallon tax that
has to go to a project.

Speaker 1 (01:44:37):
Well, when you add that to the.

Speaker 5 (01:44:40):
Next one, to the next one to the next one,
it's amazing how fast that adds up. You know, one
of the things that I do with my aviation jobs,
I am involved in seeing, you know, the cost of
our fuel. I see what it costs us to actually
buy the fuel from the distributor. I know what it
is profit margin of what we need because we obviously

(01:45:02):
need to make some money. So you know, we have
our profit margin built in. And then there is the
the the expenses that we have that we got to
figure out. Hey, we have all these expenses, we need
to make some money through the gas here it is.
But then when you're done with that, there is a
a list and it's like three pages long of all

(01:45:24):
of these additional charges that are built into the fuel prices,
and they include, you know, a dozen or so fees
for the airport, a dozen of so fees for the county,
a dozen or so fees for you know, the state,
and then there's all this other federal stuff and all
these other things. It's it's crazy to actually see the stuff,

(01:45:45):
and it's little, tiny, ridiculous things, and it's a lot
of the times, like I said, it's point zero zero
zero one cent, you know of what they're charging. But
all of that adds up. So that's one of the
things that you see. So when you start seeing areas
that have higher prices than others, the thing that that
the residents should start doing is asking why. Remember why

(01:46:08):
is the most important word in our language. And when
I see the lefties jumping on social media saying Donald
Jump is lying about the economy and the cause of fuel.

Speaker 1 (01:46:18):
We're still paying.

Speaker 5 (01:46:19):
All this money here, well, then the question should be
why why are you spending more money on fuel where
you live than other people?

Speaker 1 (01:46:29):
If there's reports out there and what was it you said, CEFCO,
how do you say is it? Is it?

Speaker 5 (01:46:36):
They actually say it ce fo is it sef CO
or I don't know, two dollars and twelve cents. You're
paying two dollars in Mississippi with a Walmart. Yeah, So
I mean the prices are down there. So the questions
should start being asked, why is it not that way
where I am? And you should be a dress seeing

(01:47:00):
your politicians and being hey, why why are they getting
it for cheaper than we are?

Speaker 1 (01:47:06):
What's the deal?

Speaker 5 (01:47:07):
And I can guarantee you the reasons why is because
of the local taxes. The local and state taxes are
the reason for why your gas is higher in other
areas than.

Speaker 1 (01:47:18):
In other places.

Speaker 5 (01:47:20):
There's also some other contributing factors too, like you know,
the cost to be able to truck it.

Speaker 1 (01:47:26):
To an area.

Speaker 5 (01:47:27):
You know, if you're a little bit further away from
a depot, there might be an extra charge.

Speaker 1 (01:47:32):
You know.

Speaker 5 (01:47:32):
So then you might see some gas stations that have
to hit you a little bit higher because it costs
more to get the gas there. But that's not the
biggest contributing factor. So you've got to kind of look
at it. But Donald trumps some energy first America first
energy policy. It is showing that it's working, and the
gas prices began following immediately, you know, which is given

(01:47:53):
a lot of household relief when it comes to the
affordability and easing some of the pressure across the broader
economy because remember, when gas prices are lower for shipping companies,
then it costs less to ship and they don't have
to charge as much and everything gets rolled down to
us the consumer. So the cheaper that we make that

(01:48:14):
the better. And according to gas Buddy, Americans are saving
a collective four hundred million dollars a week at the pump.
Now the Democrats hate that because that's tax money that
should be going to you should be paying taxes on
that to pay the taxes on the gas can electric car.

(01:48:38):
But most people do also associate the One Big Beautiful
Bill Act.

Speaker 1 (01:48:43):
Actually it's not even an act anymore.

Speaker 5 (01:48:44):
It's the law, the One Big Beautiful Bill Law, primarily
with tax cuts, but it may prove to be one
of the most consequential pro energy laws that have also
been passed in a lot of years, with things like
the lower gas prices, which again doesn't just happen by accident.
There's there's always a cause and effect to the gas

(01:49:05):
prices going on, and these are all being contributed to
Donald Trump's specific policies, which again is one of these
things that I really wish more politicians would get into
talking about. And with the left, they're in trouble because
they really can't. They can't talk about Donald Trump's policies

(01:49:27):
because they win. This is the reason for why they
have to have nothing but the personal attacks against him,
you know, attacking things he say and how we said
it versus what he's actually doing. And you see very
few Democrats looking into the policies. They just blank and say,
Donald Trump's raising the prices of everything. Well, it takes

(01:49:51):
time to fix the disaster that our friends on the
Democrat Party have created.

Speaker 1 (01:49:57):
I mean they really have. Hey, don't forget.

Speaker 5 (01:49:59):
By the way, the official website of the show is
the Brian russshow dot com, where you can go and
you can check out the Knockodoff Coffee. We will do
another discount program again with with the knockadoff coffee here soon,
but in the meantime, go check it out. There's all
kinds of great flavors that are right there. It is
the sponsor of the show. It helps the cover and
the cost of the show. So if you if you

(01:50:19):
like that, go for it. And by the way, again
today's coffee, I'm during the age whiskey barrel coffee and
I put in some Foo Food coffee cremeer. It's like
an apple caramel apple pie. Initially I was kind of like,
this is gross, but I am craving apple pie and
a big huge scoop of vanilla ice cream in the

(01:50:42):
worst way now seeing one of the problems with this
foofood coffee going a completely different rye. By the way,
a show note for you as well. This week Wednesday Thursday,
We'll want to not be doing a show because I've
got some some other commitments that i have to do
for New Year's but we will be back on Friday

(01:51:04):
when we will get the Doster Boys will be in
on Friday for our first show of the new year.
Can you believe that it's already New Year's just about done?
And I hate this time of the year because I'm
always like rushing to get things done. One of the
other things that I that I've been working on over
the weekend and I'm pushing it right to the deadline,
to the point I even got a text message from

(01:51:26):
my other station a minute Ago, and they're like, hey,
just want to let you know that, you know, the
end of the year is coming up in the show
that you're producing. It airs on Wednesday, and I'm like, crap,
it's a five hour show that I'm actually producing for
one of the music stations that I also do a

(01:51:47):
show for. So yeah, I'm under the gun again. And
on top of that, I think I'm getting a chest cold.
We're not calling it covid though it's not gonna be,
but then again, if it's the fluid, it would be.
But I have a feeling that I've probably got like
pneumonia or something that is starting to kick up because

(01:52:09):
somebody close to me had it. And yep, you know
how that works. Anyhow, we got to take one more
quick break. We will be right back. This is the
Brian Rush Show. Good morning, all right, welcome back to

(01:52:33):
the Bride Rush Show.

Speaker 1 (01:52:34):
Happy Monday. Thanks so much for being here today.

Speaker 5 (01:52:39):
Donald Trump is so damn savage, he really truly is.
Donald Trump had President Zelensky at mar A Lago over
the weekend and they were talking about a whole bunch
of stuff and they were getting ready to have lunch,
and can we just play Donald Trump's interaction.

Speaker 1 (01:52:55):
This is Donald Trump yesterday.

Speaker 5 (01:52:57):
Are your okase? Everyone?

Speaker 4 (01:52:59):
Fine?

Speaker 1 (01:52:59):
Mark, if you would I think you could sit outside
and have some food. Would you like to have food?

Speaker 5 (01:53:06):
Oruld you consider that a bribe and therefore you cannot
write honestly, or therefore you have to write a bad story. Okay,
because if you'd like, would you like something to eat
at this time? Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:53:18):
Or no?

Speaker 1 (01:53:19):
You did speak yes?

Speaker 5 (01:53:20):
Okay, Margo take him outside, televiship save them. That was
President Trump looking at the media at Ad mar Lago
when they're all sitting there at the at the lunch
table getting ready to have have some lunch with President Zelensky,

(01:53:42):
and he looks over at the news and he's like, hey,
you guys want them to eat? Oh seriously, you guys
want to eat? Are you going to consider the subribe?
I mean, you want you want something to eat. Let's
again talk about how horrible of a person Donald Trump
is and how he's just such a big meanie pants.
And here he is and he's just like, hey, you
guys want to eat? Go Hey, maa barker, go get go,

(01:54:06):
get these guys on the eat.

Speaker 1 (01:54:07):
Tell the tell the chef. It's on me. Don't worry
about it. Go get them something to eat.

Speaker 5 (01:54:11):
They look like they're hungry, they're they're all starving, they're malnourished.
Go get us on to eat. But I just love
how Donald Trump does stuff like that. And you know,
he's got to put the joke in there is this
gonna be a bribe. This is gonna be a bribe
if I if I feed you a little bit.

Speaker 1 (01:54:28):
Is that a bribe? It's being a nice guy. But
will the media take it that way? Probably not.

Speaker 5 (01:54:34):
And of course will the the leftist ever say anything
about how, hey, Donald Trump, who you know, he cracks
on the media, as he should because the more people
need to give them a little more discipline. But the
man takes into considering he's fed them, you know. And
if you don't know the life of these reporters and stuff,
a lot of these these reporters, they're traveling with like

(01:54:55):
a breakfast bar in their bag or something, and that's
usually what they get, you know, and it takes them
a while, and they'll we'll go on an entire day
without eating because of the fact that there are always
rushing around. The fact that the president was like, hey,
you guys want something here, we'll go ahead, We'll do this,
and then you know, we have obviously the war with
the Ukraine still going on. Zelenski coming tomorrow lago over

(01:55:19):
the weekend to talk with Donald Trump to do more
negotiations to be able to end this war with Russia,
and obviously there's some some conflict back and forth about
how it's going to end and what Ukraine's gonna have
to give up or what Russia is gonna have to
give up, and back and forth and back and forth.
And of course the left they have no concept of it.
And I do to a degree disagree.

Speaker 1 (01:55:42):
With how Donald Trump came out initially.

Speaker 5 (01:55:44):
I think he was a little on the cocky side
with saying that you know what's um elected president, We're
gonna end this war right away.

Speaker 1 (01:55:51):
We'll have it done in twenty four hours.

Speaker 5 (01:55:53):
Because he is still kind of getting the snapback. But again,
the left, they don't understand. Hairbear out now saying wait,
I thought President Trump said he could end the war
in twenty four hours?

Speaker 1 (01:56:05):
Was he lying? I'm so shocked.

Speaker 5 (01:56:10):
Trump said that he doesn't have any deadlines at this
point for the situation in Ukraine. And look, President Trump
has acknowledged that the Ukraine situation has become way more
difficult than what originally anticipated. But while there is this
one conflict that is going on, can we talk about
all the things that Donald Trump has successfully taken care

(01:56:33):
of when it comes to conflicts around the world. Nope,
we don't want to bring those out.

Speaker 2 (01:56:38):
We don't.

Speaker 1 (01:56:39):
What is the tally at this point?

Speaker 5 (01:56:40):
Is it like we're like at eight, nine, ten, twelve,
all the different conflicts that Donald Trump has resolved around
the world, military conflicts and he gets zero credit for it. Instead,
it's all, oh, donald Trump said he could do all this,
but look, still Ukraine going on. Yeah, Ukraine is still
going on, and it's more difficult than they originally thought.

Speaker 1 (01:57:03):
But now the.

Speaker 5 (01:57:04):
Latest one that I love is that, you know, Donald
Trump had done a strike over the holiday weekend on
Christmas Day, which again makes him such a monster. Donald
Jump's a monster. He bombed people on Christmas Day, Yeah,
a big deal. George Washington went across the frozen River.
It killed a bunch of people on Christmas Day? Is
George Washington a horrible person? Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:57:26):
Wait, you didn't know that story, libs, did you? Damn it?
They'll probably want to ban him now we need to
change the city of Washington to something else? Can we
call it something else? Just so horrible?

Speaker 5 (01:57:38):
I can't go by Washington anymore? Can we change the
dollar bills too? But Donald Trump ordered a strike on
basically terrorist organizations in Nigeria. Now what's funny is watching
all of the the headlines, because they really the way

(01:58:02):
that they were writing it out, just roll with it
and didn't figure it out for yourself. But the left
started going crazy about how Donald job al. He said
he wasn't gonna get us into any more endless wars. Okay,
first off, if the United States was to get into
a war with Nigeria, do you really think it's gonna

(01:58:24):
last very long? I mean, do you do you really
think that that is something that's going to be a
competition for our military? And what ended up happening is
we went in there and we dropped some bombs on
some terrorists. There's some organization going on there, and we
had the governments of permission to be able to do it.

(01:58:47):
So it's not like the government didn't know it was
going to happen. We didn't attack the government, we didn't
attack the country. We attacked a terrorist organization that was terrorizing.
That's all we did. But the left melting down. Oh
my god, Donald Trump, he lied to us, he said
we wouldn't get into endless wars.

Speaker 1 (01:59:06):
Oh my god. Again, I just I.

Speaker 5 (01:59:13):
Cannot, for the life of me form in my brain
of what it is like to be a leftist melting.

Speaker 1 (01:59:21):
Down about everything. I don't know, it's just it's a mess.

Speaker 5 (01:59:29):
But that's another thing that the left is going crazy
about because because Donald Trump's doing more wars, doing more wars. Oh,
here's another good one for us now that we're all
going to know this, that doctor Rita Deed is telling
us that she is going to add the Somali flag
to her bio. Who else, who else is going to
do that? Why? Why would you? And you know, it

(01:59:56):
also is amazing to think about the the god, what
the hell did I just scroll upon when you think
about the left with how they they just seem to
think that the Somali thing is okay.

Speaker 1 (02:00:12):
It I don't get I don't get it at all.
So more questions come out.

Speaker 5 (02:00:17):
And I love this question because the answer to the
question is one that that I think a lot of
people don't like to hear. The question is apparently seventy
percent of single men aren't interested.

Speaker 1 (02:00:27):
In dating anymore. Why do what do you think caused this? Liberals?

Speaker 5 (02:00:33):
Liberals actually have caused that that that is, that is
what is caused it with the the mentality that the
the the left has put out there.

Speaker 1 (02:00:42):
That's why.

Speaker 5 (02:00:44):
I mean, one of the things that I really wish
is that there was more uh uh a single conservative
women out there, because those seem to be harder and
harder to find every day. There's plenty of liberal women
that are out there in the dating scene, but most

(02:01:04):
of them have you know, the nose piercings and you know, or.

Speaker 1 (02:01:09):
Just ugly people.

Speaker 5 (02:01:11):
Their profiles say that I'm liberal and don't be calling
me if you're maga.

Speaker 1 (02:01:15):
It's like, this is the attitude.

Speaker 5 (02:01:17):
I mean, there was a time when the idea of
dating somebody that had a political ideology that was different
than you was was kind of like, that's not a
big deal, it's just politics, you know. It's the left
at this point has become so consumed with hate and
so consumed with all this dei stuff that, yeah, that's

(02:01:38):
the reason for why one of many reasons why seventy
to eighty percent of single men are simply not interested
in dating anymore.

Speaker 1 (02:01:47):
And this is a problem.

Speaker 5 (02:01:49):
Now, not so much a problem if you're like a
gen xer, but if you're an older millennial, or if
you are are actually a younger millennials, younger millennial or GenZ,
that's a problem because we need some children's and if
you're not dating, well, we're not having children's And if

(02:02:11):
you don't have some children's then that means we're gonna
have some population problems here in the country.

Speaker 1 (02:02:15):
And what will most likely end up happening.

Speaker 5 (02:02:20):
Some people like the Somalians that are coming in here
and flooding us and other people that are flooding this country,
the United States of America is not going to be
the same in no time flat. Why are we talking
about apple pie and the chats? You guys are making
me hungry?

Speaker 1 (02:02:36):
I mean, just.

Speaker 5 (02:02:36):
Because I'm between this coffee apple pie thingy and now
you guys talking about apple pie and the chat.

Speaker 1 (02:02:41):
I just this is cruel and unusual torture. I'm just
saying now I want it anyhow. So, yeah, the whole
single men thing.

Speaker 5 (02:02:55):
The reason for it again, when you start diving into it,
it's the way that the left has changed things with
women and the message that they have delivered to women
about how things should be, and men have gotten to
a point where they're like, I don't want to deal
with that anymore. And that's the reason for why so

(02:03:15):
many men have said I'm done dating hell I For
the longest time, I wanted nothing to do with dating
myself for a lot of those same reasons, and then
recently things kind of changed with me, and now I'm like, hmm, yeah,
but unfortunately, there's not enough hot conservative women that are

(02:03:37):
single to kind of help out. I'm just I'm just saying,
you know, if there just happens to be a hot
single conservative tune, because most of the conservative women already
are taken, so we're just left of these liberal women.

Speaker 1 (02:03:54):
And that's why the rest of us men are like,
you know what, being single is really not all that bad.
You know, we.

Speaker 5 (02:04:03):
Can manage, We could do it, could have done it
some more. The delusional social media posts too, And I
love this posting a picture of Kamala Harris.

Speaker 1 (02:04:15):
I will admit, good, good photo, black and white photo.

Speaker 5 (02:04:19):
She looks a little you know, powerful, kind of controlling
headline saying we could have had it all. We could
have had it all if Kamala Harris was our president,
really we could have had it all. I mean, isn't
just the same person that said if I don't get
my way, we'll take it away from you. I just

(02:04:43):
don't understand how the left think the Kamala Harris of
all people.

Speaker 1 (02:04:47):
And this is one of the things too.

Speaker 5 (02:04:49):
I get the political differences, the political ideology, I get it,
but at one point in time, at least the Democrats
had some strong leaders. May have disagreed with them one
hundred percent, but at least they come across as strong
and and you know, gotten their stuff together. But Kamala,

(02:05:13):
I mean, are you really you're putting Kamala Tim Harre,
Tim Walls, you know, Gavin Newsom, I mean, is this
really the best of the best that you have to offer?
I mean, I can I could go rip apart Republicans
like crazy, because I do it. But I mean, at
least in the Republican party there's still a lot of
strong leaders. I mean, what do you what do you

(02:05:36):
got on the Democrat side? Corey Booker, I'm Spartacus. Is
my Spartacus moment, which, by the way, as a single
man I'm just gonna throw this out there, and sure,
maybe it sounds jealousy whatever, but it's not really a
jealousy thing. It's more of a question of what the

(02:05:57):
how did this happen? How do Corey Booker Bland a
hot wife? Because if you didn't know, he got married
a couple weeks ago and she's hot. I'm not gonna
candy coat it at all on fire hot? What do

(02:06:18):
women see in people like Corey Booker?

Speaker 1 (02:06:24):
I really don't get that.

Speaker 5 (02:06:26):
And again the other question, and I give the and
I always give the girls that I work with a
hard time asking this question, and it's not fair to
ask them the question because it's not the type of.

Speaker 1 (02:06:37):
People they're into.

Speaker 5 (02:06:38):
But I've always looked at so why is did the
women always find these these absolutely ridiculous feminine men to
be the most attractive thing and that's what they like
to date? Because I see this all the time. I
see these women that are out and I'm like, you know,
gorgeous young woman. And then I'm like, wait a second,
which one's the woman? Well, that one's got great hair,

(02:06:59):
but that one looks a little I'm just hey, which
one's the girl?

Speaker 1 (02:07:03):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (02:07:03):
You are you know, he's prettier than you. I'm just
I'm not attracted to him, but I'm just saying he's
he's prettier than you. Have you thought about I don't know,
dating a man lit See your hands, Jesus, those things
look soft. I'm not even touching him, and I can
see it from here, how soft they are. Pooh, I

(02:07:25):
don't get it. I just I don't. I think it's
one of those multimillion dollar mysteries that will probably never
be solved with how women women do that? What's that
bearded bald bearded mailman dollar signs? Yeah? Yeah, sure, I'm
sure it is the money. I don't even know what
Corey book. I probably don't.

Speaker 1 (02:07:47):
Want to know, but I'm gonna do it anyhow. Wasn't
he a lawyer?

Speaker 5 (02:07:49):
Maybe that's how he got his money. We'll go with that,
just out of curiosity. I got to see what his
wealth is. Oh, fifteen million dollars hmm, primarily derived from
his political career. That is probably not the thing that
you should start off. I mean saying real estate investments

(02:08:11):
and book royalty shore, but saying that it's fifteen million
dollars primarily I'm running for the wrong office, I think
is what it is. That's it? Is it too late
to change and run for a different office, one that
I can like make millions on instead.

Speaker 1 (02:08:28):
What am I doing?

Speaker 5 (02:08:28):
I'm running for office so that I can actually do
some greater good for the community.

Speaker 1 (02:08:34):
Anyhow, all right, I.

Speaker 5 (02:08:35):
Gotta take another quick break, be right back. This is
the Brian Rush Show. Good morning, Happy Monday. All right,

(02:08:59):
welcome back the show. Thanks so much for making as
part of your Monday, and do appreciate it. So there's
a moment. Hang on, let me write this down. Today's date.

Speaker 1 (02:09:09):
December?

Speaker 5 (02:09:10):
What is today's a twenty ninth, twenty ninth two?

Speaker 1 (02:09:14):
I was twenty five.

Speaker 5 (02:09:16):
Bryan agrees with Timu Obama put that down for the
notebook later on Team Obama coming out and saying, what
does renaming the Kennedy Center have to do with making
your life more affordable? Absolutely nothing, he says, And yeah,
has absolutely nothing to do with it. So why are

(02:09:38):
we spending so much time bitching about it?

Speaker 1 (02:09:41):
It's not a big deal.

Speaker 5 (02:09:44):
There's a there's a new name up there on the
top on the wall right there, and the website's got
its name changed, and we're moving on it.

Speaker 1 (02:09:55):
It doesn't doesn't affect my life at all.

Speaker 5 (02:09:57):
It doesn't make my life more affordable, that doesn't make
get less affordable.

Speaker 1 (02:10:02):
Doesn't change anything at all.

Speaker 5 (02:10:07):
If somebody says to me, hey, you're gonna go see
a show at the Kennedy Center, I'm not gonna be like,
oh my god, oh my god, it is the Trump
Kennedy Center. Get it right, it's not gonna I'd be like,
what show now, I don't want to go see that.
Let's focus, Timu. Let's focus now. Of course, the big

(02:10:29):
thing that the left is doing this time around is affordability.
Affordability is the keyword that the Democrats are trying to use,
and of course it's backfiring on them at this point
because while they're trying to talk about affordability and how
we have to focus on everything being affordable and affordability
and affordability of this and affordability that we are seeing

(02:10:49):
a lot of Trump's policies start to bring the cost
of things down now with the big beautiful bill. This
is the thing too that a lot of people don't
realize is that a lot of it is actually getting
ready to kick in the next couple of weeks. So
as the Big Beautiful Bill starts to kick in and
policies start.

Speaker 1 (02:11:08):
To change, that's we're gonna see some things happen now hopefully.
And I don't know what I'm saying this for.

Speaker 5 (02:11:14):
I really don't, because I know it's not gonna matter
if the Republicans would actually focus on promoting all of
the positives that are happening with the Big Beautiful Bill
as it starts to unfold, as we start to see
the price of gas and other things start to go down,
as we enter the year, as we start to see
the grocery prices go down, and we start to see

(02:11:34):
so many other things going on, if the Republican Party
jumps on it, and Joe Ruders are talking to you specifically,
this is the time that you guys have got to
get the message out that we are working on it,
that the Big Beautiful Bill is taking a fact. Here's
all the things, by the way, you got the tax
breaks that are going on, by the way, here's what

(02:11:57):
we've got for new job numbers, here's what we've gone
for the increase in the money that's being paid to.

Speaker 1 (02:12:02):
People around the country.

Speaker 5 (02:12:03):
These are all the things that need to start being
promoted because you can kind of counter the Democrat message
and destroy them because right now the Democrats have nothing.
They've got no policy, they've got no ideas, they've got
no suggestions on how to prove anything. Instead, they're just

(02:12:25):
bitching and when they're out here just saying, well, we
have to make things more affordable. We have to have
more health care. We have to get affordable health care
is what we need. Everything is affordab affordable, affordable. Well,
if things start becoming affordable, what do the Democrats have
Because while they're out there saying affordability, affordability, affordability, We're

(02:12:47):
all going, yep, that's what Donald Trump's doing right now.
So we got the affordability thing, Like you, what are
you going to do for me? Tell me Democrats right now,
as a registered Republican, I want to know.

Speaker 1 (02:13:01):
Why I should vote for you? And go what do
you got? You need a minute? All right? I mean,
drink some coffee?

Speaker 5 (02:13:15):
Go ahead, you really got nothing to your Dems. Donald
Trump's in the Epstein list.

Speaker 1 (02:13:25):
So what what did he do? Well?

Speaker 5 (02:13:29):
His name is listed? Okay, so what what about all
the other people? But it doesn't matter. It's Donald Trump.
We need to cut the funding. Can we cut the
funny for Epstein files? So what do the Democrats have?
They've got nothing except for emotion. And I see this
over and over again, and and it's proof that the

(02:13:51):
democrats technique works. And this is why the Republicans need
to do it. And it's about the emotions you want
social media and if you see it as much as
I do. And of course most people don't go and
look for the things that I will look for in
social media. I look for the leftist whining. That's what

(02:14:12):
I actually, believe it or not.

Speaker 1 (02:14:14):
I follow more.

Speaker 5 (02:14:15):
People on the left on social media than I do
those on the right, because I want to see the
ridiculous insanity that they are, that that that they're talking about,
and the people that are buying into it.

Speaker 1 (02:14:30):
You know.

Speaker 5 (02:14:30):
Again, as I'm flipping through here, one of the same
people that I see over and over again, this transgender who,
by the way.

Speaker 2 (02:14:36):
Um.

Speaker 5 (02:14:41):
No, says uh Joanne, exactly zero people have a problem
with me in this women's bathroom. And I'll tell you
the reason trans women are actually women. Yeah, because because
when they're standing there going, hey, how's it going today? Yeah?

(02:15:01):
All right, okay, I'm a woman.

Speaker 1 (02:15:10):
Were you standing up while you were peeing? Yeah, you
can't do that. Yes you're not a real woman.

Speaker 5 (02:15:15):
But it's stuff like this, and then when you start
to dive into the the actual you know, comments and
stuff on here, you see the brainwash of people being like, well,
it's fine, what's the big deal. I don't see an
issue with any of this because the Republicans don't counter
the message, which is what they need to do. Now,

(02:15:38):
for those of us that are watching this show, whether
you're watching it a rumble or wimkin or listening to
it on the podcast, we're people that are politically minded.
We have a political motivation, we have a political interest,
so we're into all of this.

Speaker 1 (02:15:51):
But there's still a lot.

Speaker 5 (02:15:52):
Of people that consider themselves conservative, consider themselves Republican, consider
themselves on the right who simply don't get involved in
a lot of this stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:16:02):
And the same thing goes with on the left.

Speaker 5 (02:16:05):
There's a lot of people who just don't get involved
with this, and they just look say, what the.

Speaker 1 (02:16:08):
What the headline? Okay, oh, oh Donald Trump's doing what again?
Oh those stupid Republicans.

Speaker 5 (02:16:14):
But if you don't get out there and counter that message,
you lose It's as simple as that. That that's that's
how this is gonna work. You're just going to lose.
And then you've done this, and I love I love
this when when you see the left start to melt down,
when the people that are supposed to be on their
side aren't on their side anymore. You know, when the
when the Democrats look up and they're like, why why

(02:16:37):
why are the colored people leaving the ranch? They're supposed
to stay here. You're supposed to be on our side.
Where are you going? You're going to conservative side. You're
not supposed to be there. You're black, You're supposed to
be a Democrat.

Speaker 1 (02:16:51):
They get confused.

Speaker 5 (02:16:53):
They get confused when a gay guy comes out and
he's like, no, I am totally a conservative.

Speaker 1 (02:16:57):
Oh my god, what can be?

Speaker 5 (02:17:02):
And then there is the the dismay of of some
of our leftists where they go, what do you what
do you mean?

Speaker 1 (02:17:11):
Hispanics? Hispanics, they the Latin X.

Speaker 5 (02:17:18):
First off, don't call them that. They don't want to
be called that. Karen Bass is another example of the
stupidity on this. Karen Bass, the mayor of Los Angeles.
She's she's given further proof over the weekend on Friday,
when she addressed the uh the and expressed some sadness
in the Hispanic community because there are actually Hispanics right

(02:17:42):
now that are lining up to get high quality, well
paying jobs that will keep America safer. And what jobs
are we talking about? Border patrol? Yeah, Karen Bass can't
figure out for the life of her why Hispanic people

(02:18:04):
would be lining up to get a job on the
US border patrol.

Speaker 1 (02:18:10):
She says, well, in a way, I I think it's sad.
It's sad that the Hispanic people are gonna, they're gonna,
they're gonna do that.

Speaker 5 (02:18:22):
She said that, I think that those Border Patrol agents
are going to have a difficult time when they're out
in the field and they they see what actually happens
in real life separate from their training.

Speaker 1 (02:18:32):
It's gonna be sad.

Speaker 5 (02:18:34):
Hey, Karen, you know what if you actually stopped for
a minute and talk to some of the Hispanic community,
you know, the Hispanic community that were born and raised
here in America, or the Hispanic community that legally came
into this country and paid the money and waited the
time and did everything that they had to do right
to come into America and be part of America. If

(02:18:55):
you sat down and talked to them and said, hey,
are you okay with us just letting all these Hispanic
people into the country, you know what, the majority of
them say, no, no bueno.

Speaker 1 (02:19:05):
They're not happy with that.

Speaker 5 (02:19:08):
So I don't know why you'd be surprised for even
the slightest bit that Hispanic citizens of this country would
want to join law enforcement to protect our borders. Well,
it's your people we're bringing here. We're bringing your peoples. Yeah,

(02:19:28):
but you're doing it illegally, and then you're dumping them
onto the system that the Hispanics in this communities are
paying for in their tax payer dollars while they struggle.

Speaker 1 (02:19:41):
I just don't get it. I don't. It's really sad.

Speaker 5 (02:19:46):
No, what's sad, Karen, is that Democrats like you think
that just because you're Hispanic, just because you're gay, just
because you're black, that you have to be a on
a Democrat side.

Speaker 1 (02:20:03):
And she was right.

Speaker 5 (02:20:04):
Cubans even vote a lot of Republican and that confuses
the Democrats too.

Speaker 1 (02:20:10):
How could that be?

Speaker 5 (02:20:12):
How can you, the good Cuban people, how could you
ever want to vote for Republican? I mean, you lived
in a communist country and you escaped in you came
here to America, and now you want to vote for
Republican Yeah, because they were part of that society and
they saw how bad socialism is. And you Democrats say

(02:20:32):
over and over again, we.

Speaker 1 (02:20:33):
Need to be a socialist nation.

Speaker 5 (02:20:36):
Explain to me why a Cuban in their right mind
would be like, oh, yeah, we got to have more
of that. As a matter of fact, it will remind
me of the good old days of Cuba when I
was over there, living underneath that dictorial regime over there,
and yeah, I was, Ah, those were the days.

Speaker 1 (02:20:53):
You remember those days? Those were good. We need more
of that here in America.

Speaker 5 (02:20:56):
I mean, why the hell would I want to risk
my life doing that little journey to get over here
to America just so I could I could have freedom
and stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:21:04):
We don't want that.

Speaker 5 (02:21:07):
But it's just sad when you see these these democrats
start to lose it. And as the the border patrol
recruit that CNN had talked with, they had asked him,
you know, kind of about you know, his thoughts on this,
and uh, during the segment, they had this Hispanic border

(02:21:30):
agent that kind of told the truth when talking about
enforcing the law against his own kind. And he said
they didn't come in the right way, so they aren't
my kind. Karen, are you are you paying attention that?

(02:21:55):
That probably blew her mind too.

Speaker 1 (02:21:57):
Oh my god. Did he had Hispanic guy just say that? Yeah?
He did.

Speaker 5 (02:22:04):
He just said that they didn't come in the right way,
so they aren't my kind. But of course that's not
the type of stuff that CNN actually wants to hear.
More than half of the border agents, by the way,
are you ready for this? According to government reports, they're Hispanic. Yeah,

(02:22:25):
so more than fifty percent of border patrol being Hispanic,
and more Hispanic people want to join the border patrol.
All kinds of confusing for the left. They don't know
what to do. They're so confused by it. They really

(02:22:47):
truly are. What's that Karen Bass versus AOC dumb and dumber. Yeah,
that's a question as to which one would be which role.
Karen Bess is a communist?

Speaker 1 (02:23:03):
Is she a lesbian? I don't even know.

Speaker 5 (02:23:04):
If she's because if she is and she's not, like,
hang on, let's hang on, let's find out.

Speaker 1 (02:23:12):
I really don't know.

Speaker 5 (02:23:21):
I don't even know if she is or not. I
thought she had a husband. I could be wrong, but again,
who cares because it doesn't really matter. But now I'm
just curious. I don't see anything, so I don't know.
Maybe not, but she's definitely a communist to a communist

(02:23:42):
who's actually traveled to Cuba to learn communism.

Speaker 1 (02:23:51):
But it's just a it's a sad.

Speaker 5 (02:23:53):
Fact when you see how the left responds, and of
course who is the left responding to when it comes
to these Ice agents.

Speaker 1 (02:24:02):
There's a lot of Ice agents, by.

Speaker 5 (02:24:04):
The way, that are black and Hispanic, and yet it's
okay to attack them. But then again, I mean, when
they're not supporting their own kind, then they're they're just
not worthy, So I guess they should be attacked, right.
The hypocrisy that comes out of the leftist sometimes is

(02:24:26):
just really truly is.

Speaker 1 (02:24:28):
Amazing at what's going on there? What's this?

Speaker 5 (02:24:33):
Another person posting here that Trump keeps posting that America
was once the laughing stock of the world, but now
that he is president, it's never been more respected. This
person from from Australia saying, as a Ausie, I can
one hundred percent confirm that Donald Trump is a laughing
stock here.

Speaker 1 (02:24:51):
Well, I doubt it.

Speaker 5 (02:24:56):
We have a lot of people, by the way, that
listen to the show on the podcast and watch a
little bit from Australia. I get feedback from from a
lot of Australians and I get a lot of feedback
from other places. Not to mention, one of my favorite
shows on Sky News with Rita is the Lefties Losing It.
That segment Sky News right there in Australia. It's the

(02:25:18):
Australian version of the US or the UK sky News,
which by the way also owned by Fox News or
News Corp. They kind of confirmed that even in Australia
people still like Donald Trump. Now there are people that
are on the left that don't like it because Donald
Trump is going against what they wanted. And of course

(02:25:42):
the fake news that continually reports the horrible things like
look at what the BBC reported and the reason for
why they're being sued. The BBC literally edited in an
audio from January sixth to say, let's go attack the Capitol,
which is not true. But I do love when the

(02:26:04):
left they get one person like Hairbear does this all
the time too. He'll He'll like find one conservative somewhere
or one person out there that says, I regret my
vote for Donald Trump. Say, see, maggis losing it. Maggis
losing his support. Nobody wants to vote for Donald Trump.
You know it would blow his mind too, Like if

(02:26:26):
I ever, I would love to see Hairbear's take on
this one, because we've talked about this before in the office,
you know, the whole Donald Trump twenty twenty eight, and
you know you'd see the hypothetical would you vote for
Donald Trump in twenty twenty eight? Now, listen, I'm a
supporter of Donald Trump. I don't agree with everything that
he does. I will, I will, you know, call some

(02:26:48):
things out when I don't agree with it. But the
reality is is you should never agree one hundred percent
with political leaders.

Speaker 1 (02:26:55):
You just never should.

Speaker 5 (02:26:56):
There should always be something that you find is a disagreement,
but it shouldn't be a deciding factor either. But as
much as I love Donald Trump, as much as I
love the policies that he is doing, I love the
attitude that he takes about things, there's no prisoners know nothing.
If Donald Trump was on the ballot in twenty twenty eight,
I wouldn't vote for him.

Speaker 1 (02:27:19):
I really wouldn't.

Speaker 5 (02:27:20):
And it's not because of the fact that I think
that he's a horrible president. It's not because I think
that he's doing a bad job on the international stage.
I think Donald Trump's doing a fantastic job. I love
the guy. But there's a certain point where you have
to have open eyes and go, Okay, is he when
he is now going to be what eighty three, eighty four,

(02:27:40):
whatever it is that he'll be in twenty twenty eight,
and again, not that he can actually run, because he can,
would he still be in the best of shape. And
my response to that is probably not. I mean, I
honestly have concerns that he's going to make it through
the entire term as it is, because his health is
on a decline. His physical health is on a decline,

(02:28:01):
not his mental health. I mean, it is naturally on
a decline, because we all decline. But I just don't
think that Donald Trump will be capable of doing another
four years physically and mentally. I think he's tired, he's
exhausted as it is now, and we still have three
years left of him as it is, and I agree
with his policies, but there is a certain point in

(02:28:24):
time that once Donald Trump's policies that he is doing
taken to effect and basically kickstart everything that is supposed
to be done. And we get all this bullshit out
of our government, then it's time to pick up and
run with the ball and improve it, you know, Donald Trump,
And I use this in the construction form and multiple times.

(02:28:46):
Donald Trump is the demo guy. He's the guy that's
coming in and he is he is clearing the lot,
taking down that old, falling apart building, the one that's
a safety hazard to everything. And then the next person's
gonna be the one that's going to come in and
put the new building up and make it beautiful. And
I'm hoping it'll be Jade Vance. But just because you

(02:29:09):
say I love Donald Trump now, but in Tony towny eight,
I wouldn't like him. It doesn't mean that I don't
support him. But the Laft would take that as that.
They would be like, oh see see even the talking
head he doesn't like Donald Trump anymore.

Speaker 1 (02:29:21):
That's not true.

Speaker 5 (02:29:23):
Love Donald Trump, and I want to see him going
strong till twenty twenty eight, and then I want to
see JD. Vance because I'm a realist about things, and
Trump by that point in time will not be the strong,
physical mental Trump that he is today. Just it's a
reality of things. Yeah, Biden Harris, that was definitely a

(02:29:47):
laughing stock. And now, look I've said this before when
it comes to Donald Trump, there is plenty of things
to laugh at.

Speaker 1 (02:29:57):
That guy over work, plenty of things.

Speaker 5 (02:30:00):
Donald Trump does things all the time that I laugh at,
whether it be the way he said something, how we
reacted to something. There's always something about Donald Trump that
you can laugh at. You know, there are things that
he has done policy wise that you can find the

(02:30:21):
joke in it. Even though the policy is a great joke,
you can still find some humor in it. So if
there's anybody that's really laughing, it's that. But the problem
that we do have around the knack on the world
is that the leftists, again, taking in their leftist media,
hearing the stuff that they hear, they look at Donald

(02:30:42):
Trump in kind of the same light that some of
the leftists here do, and that is not understanding the truth.

Speaker 1 (02:30:50):
Like in the UK, how many.

Speaker 5 (02:30:51):
People in the UK right now totally think that Donald
Trump issued the commands to his followers to go attack
the Capitol Building because that's what the BBC edited it
to say. How many people listened to that and saw
it and went, oh, my god, Donald Trump's the worst.

(02:31:13):
But then you have one the conservative movement is growing
dramatically around the world. And you see what Donald Trump
has done around the world. Even with the tariffs. As
much as the tariff thing is getting the bad name,
the tariffs have actually done a lot of good for
a lot of the countries that have the tariffs against them.

(02:31:36):
And why because Donald Trump has come in and said, listen,
you're not going to tariff the living hell out of us,
and then we're not going to be able to respond
to you.

Speaker 1 (02:31:46):
So we're going to respond.

Speaker 5 (02:31:48):
And some of these nations around the world have said ooh,
unlike Canada, who hasn't gotten their head out of their
ash yet, other nations around the world looked at it
and said, oh, this is not a good business deal.
We need to figure this out. What can we do,
Donnie to make this work? And we've negotiated deals with
them where they've lowered their tariffs, we've lowered our tariffs.

(02:32:10):
And you know what's happening in some of those nations.
They're buying American products. And sure, we're still buying some
of theirs, but it's opened up the negotiations. So it's
actually done well for other countries around the world. Some
not so much because they still got their heads wedged
up really far up there that they blink and their
scratch in the back of their eyes. But when you
have the media, and again the leftist media, they do

(02:32:33):
say some prutty bad things about Donald Trump, but there's
also a lot of people around the world that are
looking at Donald Trump going we need that, we need
that in our country now, the UK. I hope that
those guys wake up and realize it, because right now
the UK is not looking good. It's not looking good

(02:32:53):
at all for the future of the UK because of
the leftist policies that they have done, because of the
things that they've done, and they're slowly learning that message,
but I don't think they're learning it fast enough. And
with a steiny little place like the UK that could
be taken over in no time flat by the foreign influences,
which is essentially what's going on now. And then here

(02:33:14):
in America we need to also pay attention to the
foreign influences, the Somalis that are here, that are the reason.

Speaker 1 (02:33:22):
Somalis. By the way, I don't know if you knew this,
and I actually want to.

Speaker 5 (02:33:26):
I want to research this here because I was unaware
of this. God, my stomach is wrong. I don't know
if you can hear that on the camp or the microphone,
but God dang. From what I understand, and I'm kind

(02:33:48):
of confused by this because I thought differently. But from
what I understand, Somalians are the ones that they created Minnesota.
But I was pretty sure that it was a little
bit different. So I wanted to reduce do a quick
research here and see and according to the interwebs, and
this is just being an AI overview, Minnesota was formed
by Native American people.

Speaker 1 (02:34:09):
Oh oh, so.

Speaker 5 (02:34:18):
Did the Somalians come in and steal the land from
the Native American people? Are the Somalians who allegedly formed
Minnesota but didn't actually form Minnesota? Did they come in
and steal it from the Native American people who founded it?

Speaker 1 (02:34:36):
Just curious?

Speaker 5 (02:34:38):
But it was formed by Native American peoples and the
European exploration, the French and British, and finally organized by
the United States government, becoming the Minnesota Territory in eighteen
forty nine and then the thirty second state in eighteen
fifty eight, shaped by figures like Henry Sibley at the

(02:35:00):
does that sound very Somalian? And through treaties with the
Dakota and Choby tribes developing from fur trade and agriculture,
and just hang out. I'm gonna scan through this because
there's got to be something in here about the Somalis.

Speaker 1 (02:35:17):
Let's see the.

Speaker 5 (02:35:17):
Native Americans Landa's a home to the indigenous people listed
a whole bunch of different tribes, French and British. The
fur traders came in. British controlled the area for a
while before it became part of the US. Let's see
the territories in statehood, the US acquisitions of it Mineseta territory.
Back again to Henry. Let's see the Saint Paul capital

(02:35:44):
and then the governor Alexander Ramsey.

Speaker 1 (02:35:46):
Boy, that sounds another Somali kind of name, the.

Speaker 5 (02:35:49):
Treaty's expansion that happened with the Native Americans. Let's see
the statehood that came about in eighteen fifty eight. Well,
I'm going through a lot here and I still haven't
found anything about the Somalians. Some of the key figures again,
is that that Henry Sibley a k figure in encouraging

(02:36:10):
territorial creation and the leader in the negotiations with the
Native Americans. The Native American tribes provide the original inhabitants,
culture and place names and were largely displaced by settlers.
Uh huh, there's not a There's not a damn thing
in there about the Somalians being the ones that created Minnesota.

(02:36:33):
So lefties, you might want to go do some more research.
Might want to go do a little bit more research
into Minnesota and who formed it and and how it
all became about. And then also research some of your
Somali friends and find out what's going on there too. Okay, okay,

(02:36:55):
all right, we gotta get out of here, don't forget.

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
