(01:20):
for the area code if you're outside of the area
or just play all new to the area, but welcome
to the show. Thanks so much for waking up with us.
Where do we begin today? Where do we begin? There's
so much Obviously, yesterday was the Day of Liberation, and
as you can expect, there was a lot of blowback
on the Day of Liberation, And to be honest with you,

(01:42):
I was I was not really all that busy yesterday.
But I did have the opportunity to like just kind
of watch it every now and then, and I had
to actually go back and read it because I didn't
have a chance to really sit there and watch it
because quite honestly, and look, I know Donald Trump is
a showman totally do. I know that everything that he's
gonna do is gonna be in very much so in

(02:03):
a show like kind of fashion. But damn, dude, we
got things to do, we really do.

Speaker 5 (02:12):
You know.

Speaker 7 (02:12):
What we need is and he did spend a lot
of time just kind of yapping about nothing. What we
need Donald Trump to do is just to come out
say this is what we're doing, Explain why we're doing it,
explain it to the third grade reading level mentality, and
move on. And I think sometimes it's one of the

(02:34):
things that does get Donald Trump into trouble, and not
really trouble, trouble, but you know, to the effect that
people aren't quite listening to what's going on, getting all
the details, because again, what you end up getting is
the blowback from the idiots. You know, the blowback from
the idiots is what you always get, including the Adam
Shifts and the you know, the Chuck Schumer's and Hakeem

(02:57):
Jeffries and all these other idiots that are out there
on the left who, rather than trying to figure out
what it is that's going on, trying to figure out
how can we work with Donald Trump. We gottassue him,
we gotta assume him, we gotta stop him. And the
sad part about it with the left is that so
few of them. Actually I'm gonna almost go as far
as saying none of them. I don't want to say none,

(03:19):
because I'm sure there's at least one somewhere, but I
haven't seen it, so I'm gonna go with none. Forget it.
Nobody's saying why, nobody's saying how's this working. Nobody's like questioning,
how is this going to affect things? What is the goal?
Of this. Instead, you just get the absolute ridiculous negativity

(03:44):
that comes out from all these idiots on the left
who don't want to talk about things. Some of them,
I think is because they know the answer to the
question of why and how is this working and everything else,
but it goes against their narrative of we have to
stop Donald Trump. And here's the thing, it is not
about stopping Donald Trump. It's about making America a great country.

(04:07):
It is about making it so that things are affordable
for us, It's about making it so that we are
all safe. So instead of actually sitting here on a
daily basis saying that you're gonna go get Trump when
more than fifty percent of the country voted for the man,
stop and say, geez, let's figure out how this is
gonna work. What is your intention of this, What is

(04:31):
the outcome of this? Have the conversation. But nobody on
the left is willing to do that. Nobody even on
the media side of the left, is willing to do.
And I'm gonna go as far as saying that even
some on the right, like Newsmax and Fox News, some
of them are really not also going down that road
of explaining things we're in this defense mode and it's

(04:53):
attacked Donald Trump, Defend Donald Trump, Screw Donald Trump. It's
not about Donald Trump. It's about the country. It's about
tho survival of the country. Donald Trump has laid out
a plan that Look, it is complicated, and I understand
how the common, everyday, average person may not understand exactly

(05:14):
what it is that Donald Trump is doing and why
he is doing some of the things that he is doing.
And there's reason for it. And if you know much
about business, if you are in business and you look
at what Donald Trump is doing, you say, Okay, that
makes sense. I can see that the light down the
end of the tunnel of where he's trying to go
with this. But so many people don't get it. And

(05:35):
when you are a low information voter, like we have
so many of them on the left, and yeah, we
have some on the right too, and we're not totally
escape from that. But when you have these low information
voters who are listening to their politicians, their leaders, the
Hakeem Jeffries, the aocs, the Bernie Sanders and you know,
the Jasmine Crocketts and all these other negativity that's coming
out there, they're not getting educated about what's really going on.

(06:00):
I mean a as complicated as a lot of what
Donald Trump is doing. Is one of the most basic
things that the Left should be able to explain to
their followers is that the United States of America has
getting screwed in tariffs by Europe since the end of

(06:22):
World War Two, and that we've been getting screwed on
it because we're the ones that dropped our own pants
on that and said give it to us. But so
many people don't know this. And if people were understanding
where Donald Trump was coming from this, because if people
understood that things like Canada has been, you know, hitting

(06:46):
us with tariffs of two three hundred percent on things. Remember,
donald Trump worst person in the world because he's going
to hit a twenty five percent tariff on something. So
let me think about that, twenty five percent versus three
hundred percent. Somehow I think that we're getting the raw
end of that deal. But it's all made out that
Donald Trump is the worst. Donald Trump's gonna crush the economy.

(07:07):
Donald Trump's gonna do this with the world. But he's
telling the rest of the world, hey, enough is enough.
Already Europe is thriving, ish but they would not have
been if it wasn't for the terroriffts that America told
them to impose on us and our goods to be
able to build their economies after the destruction of World

(07:29):
War two. Simple conversation to have. Now, the tariffs that
Donald Trump is doing. Yeah, there is a potential for
a backfire on this. I mean, this is not a
full proof method that Donald Trump is doing. There are
potentials of backfires on this, And yes, you could have

(07:49):
that conversation, but you have to start it off with. Hey,
just so everybody knows, America has been getting screwed by
these other countries around the world for decades, seventy years
for some countries, and what Donald Trump is doing is
leveling out the playing field just a smidge. Now, keep

(08:13):
in mind that Donald Trump's tariffs that he has announced
during his Day of Liberation yesterday still don't come anywhere
close to what some of the other countries around the
world still hit us with. And with this, there are
some exceptions, and Donald Trump went over some of the
exceptions on this, and when he had his big Rose

(08:35):
Garden event, you know, he unveiled a twenty five percent
tariff on things like auto imports that earned the praise
from some of the union workers, which that's got to
take off the left, and it didn't even included the
United Auto Workers, who's always been very much so for
the left. And then some of the other things that

(08:56):
he went down. He said to announce his decision on
the implementation of a ray of new tariffs yesterday, and
some of them he's already announced that will take effect.
They were supposed to take effect yesterday, and Trump is
dubbed yesterday as Liberation Day. And with this he announced
tariffs on Mexico and Canada. Earlier in the administration, you

(09:19):
remember the twenty five percent if you don't help us,
And the thing is with Canada and Mexico. It wasn't, hey,
you guys are screwing us over when it comes to tariffs,
We're gonna hit you guys with tariffs. That wasn't what
it was. I mean to a degree, but it wasn't
the whole thing. The big thing was, hey, help us
with this fentanyl and illegals coming across our border. Otherwise

(09:40):
we're gonna hit you with some tariffs and spank you
around a little bit. But it all got turned around
because again the left has got to attack Donald Trump.
We gotta stop Donald Trump. He's the worst in the world.
I can't believe he's doing this to our neighbors. Oh
my god, this is horrible. And then you get the
liberals in both of those countries. Granted, the Mexican pres
and she's smartened up a little bit, but the Canadian

(10:03):
liberals continue with their fear mongering. You get that ton
of fun up there in Ontario, Ford who threatens to
cut off the energy to America, which again, you could
threaten us with tariffs, you can threaten us with all
kinds of stuff. You don't do two things. You don't
touch our boats and you don't touch our energy. I

(10:24):
don't know what that guy was even remotely thinking, but
he fear mongered, and he got people in Canada all
upset and and riled up. But of course then you
get the less liberal, less progressive premieres in the rest
of the country that we're kind of looking over going.
Are you stupid? Do you understand the trade we do
with this country? Do you understand how important it is

(10:44):
to have a good relationship with this country. But you
get the idiot liberals that are running the country that
continue their fear mongering and how horrible and mean and
nasty Donald Trump is. But imagine how much better things
would be if we would simply just negotiate, simply talk
about it, and ask the question why why are we

(11:09):
doing this, and then answer the question. But we can't
do that because we have politicians who are more concerned
about their level of power and control and the money
that they are getting than worrying about we the people. Now,
with Donald Trump's tariffs, yes there is a possibility of
them going south, and there's a possibility of there being

(11:31):
a problem. The Commerce Secretary was talking about this yesterday
as well, with how if the other countries around the
world who are going to get hit with these tariffs
don't retaliate and just stop for a second and go, okay,
how can we work this out? Things will be fine.

(11:54):
If countries retaliate and say, a fine, well, we're going
to go up on our tariffs, then we're gonna go up.
The idea of the twenty five percent tariffs and the
twenty percent tariffs at different levels that Donald Donald Trump
played out that that is the limit. That's where we
wanted to stop. This wasn't a negotiation of we're gonna
start here and then climb. It's we're gonna start here.

(12:17):
You guys bring down your tariffs, and we all kind
of bring down. We'll meet each other a little bit.
We'll make this what is that called again? Oh yes,
fair trade, that's what Donald Trump wants. But you're going
to get a couple of these liberal countries that are
gonna say, oh my god, big, evil, mean Donald Trump.
He's hitting us with tariffs and it's the worst thing

(12:39):
that could ever happen, even though we've been doing it
for seventy years against America. Oh, this is the worst
thing ever. We're gonna raise our tariffs and we will
see a trade war. We will see some issues. But
here's the thing too that a lot of the country
needs to remember, and a lot of the world needs
to remember. We are the single largest consumer of goods
in the world. Donald Trump's biggest thing is that he

(13:03):
wants to bring more manufacturing back to this country. So
if the rest of the world, who we quite honestly
don't one hundred percent need, I mean, there will be
a hurt in the right way. And that this again
one of those things that the Republicans and Donald Trump
needs to be very open and very honest about that. Yes,

(13:23):
we could see a little bit of hurt, but in
the end, this is where we could be where we
may see a rise in the car manufacturing because there
are parts or computer chips or something that are being
manufactured somewhere else, and over the next year or two years,
while a plant is being built so that we can
manufacture this stuff here, Yeah, the price is going to
go up a little bit. But as soon as those

(13:46):
plants are done. Here's a couple of things. One, they're
being built in America, which means number two, we're creating
American jobs. Number three means we are bringing in more
tax income into the country here because we have things
that are being built here sold here, and we have
the employment stuff going on. So in the end, within

(14:08):
a couple of years, it will benefit America very well.
But who's it not going to benefit the countries that
relying on America to buy all of their goods or
to rely on them from partial manufacturing for cars and
other things. In the end, the ones that will get hurt,
we'll be the foreign countries, the other countries around the world.

(14:30):
They will be heard will be okay, I mean, keep
in mind, America is really the place that we launched
the industrial revolution in ways that the world has never
seen before. And we did it because we manufactured things
here and the rest of the world turned around and said, ooh, America,
I like ee, can I have some of that? That's

(14:53):
where it all started. And we've got to be honest
about this. We've got to educate the low information people.
And honestly, if these other countries do go down this
road of well, screw you, We're gonna raise our tariffs.
We're just gonna start building more and more stuff here
and then the rest of the world is gonna have
to rely on themselves. We'll see what happens though, But again,

(15:17):
the biggest thing is that the Donald Trump administration and
the Republicans need to go on a campaign of messaging
to explain what it is, be honest about the fact that, yes,
we may see some pain for the next year, year
and a half, two years while we build these things,
but these are what's coming, these are the jobs that
are coming. We're gonna bring money into this country. We're

(15:40):
gonna be okay. And you have to reinsure people that
because unfortunately, too many people are weak. I'm just gonna
say it. Too many people are weak. And it is
very easy for Americans today, because we're not as tough
as we once were, for us to look at it
and go, oh my god, everything's going horrible. This is bad. Oh,

(16:02):
we can't afford this. Oh, life is getting worse. Oh,
I don't see the end of the tunnel. And then
when you have the media, the celebrities, and the Democrats
coming out saying, yeah, this is the worst ever. The
entire country's gonna come to an end and it's all
Donald Trump and the Republicans fault. And then people are
gonna just look at it and go, oh my god,
you're right. I thought Donald Trump was going to be
the solution, but he's not. Meanwhile, the solution is building up,

(16:26):
It is coming down the tracks, and it'll completely be
derailed by the low information, emotional voters and the idiot
Democrats who will tank the economy. This is why the
Republicans need to do better on their messaging. We gotta
take a quick break. We'll be right back. Good morning,
and welcome to the show.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
Be a proud member of Team Knock it Off. Voice
be heard the Brian Rust Show on News talking, all.

Speaker 7 (17:05):
Right, what about this is complicated? If you buy American,
there's no Tara, explain to me why Democrats don't understand, well,
because they're Democrats, and here's the thing. They do understand.
They just don't want to be honest about it because
they know that if they support this, if they do
things like Donald Trump is planning, it could be a

(17:28):
success for America, and they don't want Donald Trump to
have success. Adam Shift was on MSNBC last night on
Prime and he was asked, the Dow future is down
a thousand points. We were told by the President it
was Liberation Day. Are you feeling liberated? Adam Shift's response
to that one was no, I may be liberated from

(17:49):
anything in a four oh one k as millions of
Americans will feel the impact and will be liberated from
any chance of having lower prices for things. This is
going to be a disaster for our economy. It's going
to be a disaster for hardworking families, and they are
going to have to pay more for auto parts or
getting their car fixed, or you know, buying groceries or
anything else. These other countries may, many of whom are

(18:13):
our closest allies are going to retaliate against us. It's
just simply going to escalate from here, adding on saying
that I'd talked to farmers out in California who still
haven't recovered from the market share they lost during the
first Trump administration from the ill fated tariffs. Then, so
this is going to be really disastrous and massive self
inflicted wound on our economy from a president who campaigned

(18:35):
at lower prices, but it is in fact pushing them
through the roof. Here's the thing. Yes, we are going
to have a solid impact for a very short period
of time. And as far as the farmers go, yeah,
they are having a hard time because there was this
little what was that thing called, oh, COVID, that's what
it was. COVID had messed up a lot of things.

(18:56):
And on top of that, when you are relying on
other countries to provide us food, then yes, there is
a problem with that, and you should be addressing the
fact that we are not doing more of American food
and farmers in California where we can get some fresh
stuff instead of things that are sent over to China
to be processed and then sent back to America. And

(19:21):
as far as your four oh one k. Look, here's
the thing. Stock market goes up one day, goes down
the next. It'll go up and down, up and down
three or four times in a day. It will be okay.
But again, instead of fear mongering, which is exactly what
Adam Shift is doing, say we need to sit down
with Donald Trump to figure this out. Have we heard

(19:43):
that from the Democrats at all this year since Donald
Trump has become president. Have we once heard from any
of the leadership in the Democrat Party saying we should
probably really sit down with Donald Trump to figure this out. Look,
I'm concerned about your tear. Are they going to work?
How are they going to work? We really should sit

(20:04):
down with Donald Trump. Mister president. Can we have a
meeting at the White House so that you can explain
this to us better, so we can ask you some
questions better, so that we can go back to our
very worried constituents and explain to them what's going on.
But no, they won't do that. Instead, it is constant
fear mongering to get people all upset, to get people worried,

(20:27):
and not educate them and get them to understand that, yes,
you're going to see today a four oh one k hit,
But that may be back up ten times that in
a week or two or in a year from now.
It's gonna be okay. Explain it. Stop freaking out your
constituents and start educating them, and start getting along. Start

(20:50):
working with the president. Go to them, let him explain
it to you. If it doesn't make sense or you disagree,
then argue with it. We gotta take a break for news.

Speaker 5 (20:58):
Bear it back, don't be afraid to say it. Knock
it off.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
Back to the Brian Rust Show on News Talk at
one oh one.

Speaker 7 (21:19):
Well, this didn't take very long for it to happen.
And I told you it was going to eventually. This
didn't think it was going to be this soon. The
Senate already turning on Donald Trump. The Senate yesterday voted
fifty one to forty eight to pass their resolution terminating
President Trump's emergency declaration to impose twenty five percent tariffs
on Canada. Didn't take long, didn't take long at all.

(21:44):
Four Republicans Senator Mitch McConnell, Lisa Murkowski, and Ran Paul
along with Susan Collins, voted along with the Democrat colleagues
to end the twenty five percent terriffs that were slapped
on Canada. As it was previously reported, Trump had urged
the Senators to get on the Republican bandwagon and to
fight the Democrats wild and flaggrant push not to penalize

(22:06):
Canada and to pass the resolution. Mitch McConnell, along as
Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Ran Paul, we'll hopefully get
on the bandwagon for the change. But doesn't look like
it happened. As we saw the resolution fifty one to
forty eight pass to terminate President Trump's tariffs against Canada.

(22:31):
It didn't take very long. And to be honest with you,
I'm not surprised by Mitch McConnell, Lisa Mkowski, and Susan Collins,
little surprised by Ran Paul on this.

Speaker 5 (22:41):
Now.

Speaker 7 (22:41):
I understand the idea of let's not go down the
tariff ward. I totally get it. But there are some
big problems and we've got to understand and the American
people and the people of the world need to realize
too that we are not real We're not really going
after people with tariffs. We are coming a lower number
than what we are already being tariffed by the people

(23:04):
that we're giving tariffs too. So explain to me how
this is wrong. This is Honestly, I would love to
be explained to in the simplest terms how it is wrong.
So you can tariff me, but I can't tariff you

(23:25):
because that's not fair. You have had tariffs against the
United States of America for seventy plus years, but if
I add a small tariff to you, it's the end
of the world. And is not going explain this to me?
Please go how how do you? How do you explain

(23:45):
that to the simplest iq levels, even so that even
they understand. All I can think of is uh, Eddie Murphy,
I got some, I scream, I got some I scream,
and you don't. Got no wanna lick psych And again,

(24:08):
we can't have honesty, we can't have education about this.
Where's our journalists, the journalists that are out there that
to actually say, hey, yeah, I know this sounds really bad,
but did you guys know Speaking of Doug Ford of
thear the Ontario premiere yesterday, he was on CNBC's squawk

(24:30):
Box and they were talking about that if President Trump
removes tariffs, Canada will drop all of their tariffs. Now,
first off, Dougie, you're the premiere of Ontario. You're not
the prime minister of the entire country. So kind of
going a little far with it with you on that one.
But you know what, he does have a point here
on this, but it should be the other way around.

(24:52):
It should be, Hey, Donald Trump, you know, yes, America
is a very vital trading partner for us. We've been
allies forever except for you know that one time, but
we won't talk about that. But we've been allies forever.
We can continue to be strong partners. Let's continue to
be strong partners. Look all right, we have been tariffing

(25:15):
the living crap out of America. You got us busted
hand in the cookie jar. We had two hundred, three
hundred percent tariffs on your stuff. I'll tell you what,
if we drop our tariffs against you, will you drop
your tariffs against us. That's the way this should go, Dougie,
Not you who is tariffing America to three hundred percent

(25:39):
on some of our goods. And we tear a few
twenty twenty five percent and you say, well, if you
stop yours, we'll stop ours. You were doing it to us. First,
show a little goodwill there, Dougie, And why don't you say, hey,
my stance is this, and as far as Ontario goes,
we'll drop anything that we have and hopefully the rest

(26:00):
of the country will follow suit. But we'll drop all
of our tariffs and have a great trading relationship with America.
If Donald Trump, if you drop your twenty five percent,
I could guarantee you. I could guarantee you that if
Doug Ford did that and at the very least said hey,
at least with Ontario. You know, the rest of the country,

(26:21):
but Ontario, let's do this here, let's work this out.
I can bet you that Donald Trump will look at
him and go, you got it deal. But Doug is
trying to be act like he's got all the cards. Doug,
you don't. You're the one that has the two hundred
three hundred percent tariffs in the US. So why should

(26:44):
we give up first for you? Why don't you prove
that you're going to do it? When he was asked,
do you expect this to be a negotiation? Meaning there
has been a sense implied here otherwise that we're going
to hear a number, whether it's twenty or something else
as sort of a top and that if folks like

(27:04):
yourself come forward and say, you know what, we're going
to take some take some tariffs off of this, and
we're going to do this, and perhaps those tariff numbers
come down. Ford's response to that question was, well, let's hope.
So let's sit down and discuss this, because it's going
to hurt American jobs. First off, it's not going to

(27:24):
hurt American jobs as much as you think. It's actually
going to create more American jobs because we're going to
create more in America and screw you. But he goes
on to say that I can't stress it enough that
you know, again he believes he's supporting America and he's
going to create jobs, create wealth, reduce inflation. It's worked
the total opposite. And again, this is the thing that

(27:47):
people have got to understand, and I would hope that
Doug Ford gets this. The process that Donald Trump is
implementing to fix the problem that we have in America
is not an overnight solution. It will take time. It's
not going to be I'm going to announce something this

(28:07):
afternoon and then tomorrow morning. There's ten thousand jobs that
are being created because again, you've got to build facilities,
you've got to upgrade facilities, you've got to find the workers,
train the workers, you gotta get the materials. It's gonna
take time. And again the Republicans not doing a good
job of getting out there and hitting that message and

(28:29):
getting ahead of things and saying, look, this is what
we're gonna do, this is the outcome. This is about
how long it's gonna take for this to happen. Instead,
they allow the left to go ahead and create the
narrative and then now you have to fight it. But
doug Ford was asking in response, but do you think
it's fair that you have tariffs on a whole number

(28:50):
of products. I'm surprised the NBC actually hit that one,
but it's a very fair question. But Ford said, that's right,
and we'd be willing to take those tomorrow if he
took all the tariffs off. We are not the problem, Andrew,
do you know the problem is China is the problem.
And he's taking a blind eye to China as they

(29:12):
continue to build their critical mass while we all have
critical minerals that our great neighbors need. We have the
energy our great neighbors need now look here, Dougie, you're right.
China is a problem, No doubt China is a problem.
But remember we got to go back to the beginning
of what the teriffs started with Canada. Now, Donald Trump

(29:36):
had a solution, has a problem that he's trying to
fix with the terrorists against America. He wants to rebuild
American manufacturing. He wants to strengthen US more, and one
of the only ways of doing that is to get
a fair level playing field on the trade. But what
Donald Trump was doing with Canada and Mexico initially with
the tariffs was saying, hey, help us with fence and

(29:58):
all in border crossings, because that was a number one
priority for Donald Trump. The economy and everything else is
number two. Number one was securing the border and stopping
all the fentanyl. And he simply looked at Canada and
Mexico and said, hey, will you guys help us out
with this, and if you don't, we're gonna hit you
with a tariff. And rather than saying, hey, you know what,

(30:23):
our good neighbor, our training partner, our ally forever, you're right,
we should do something to help you prevent all the
deaths that are happening in your country with your people,
because well, this illegal chemical and drug is flowing through
our country and we really haven't done much to help
secure that border, and you know, it's a huge impact
on you guys. Okay, yeah, we'll do that. Instead they

(30:45):
turned around and they're like, oh no, you can't teriff
us and completely avoided the actual topic that Donald Trump
came to them with. So then that launched into this
tariff war because of the fact that you know, they
just didn't want to simply help us close the border
with the tariff. We the fentadol and the illegals. They're

(31:05):
thinking twice about it now and now it's escalating into more.
But like Doug is doing, and I'm gonna give him
praise to at least say hey, if you drop it,
we'll drop it. But it's got to be the other
way around. It's got to just be Doug Ford looking
at Donald Trump and saying, listen, I do get it
that you try to do this for American jobs, that

(31:26):
I get it. We got to be partners with all this,
and okay, you're right, we busted. We've been hitting you
with tears really hard. We'll drop ours if you drop it,
will drop ours and then you can drop yours, not
the other way. They're not the ones who have to
be standing there telling us we have to drop ours first.

(31:47):
We're the ones that have all the cards. We're the
ones who are going to purchase more stuff from Canada
than anything. So yeah, not gonna work out that way,
but we'll see what happens. But doug Ford was also
asked if he said to Ross Sorkin on SSNBC. He said,
I just want to go back for a moment. If
in fact you're prepared to take your tariffs off, why

(32:10):
wouldn't you have that negotiation in the conversation now before
the tariffs get in place. And doug Ford's response to
that was, well, we've had this conversation over the last month.
We don't want tariffs. We have another sixty five billion
with tariffs to launch today. That's the last thing we
want to do because it's just again, it's going to

(32:32):
hurt both countries. It's going to hurt American workers. So
when are you going to do it? When is the
Premiere of Ontario going to stand up and look at
the Prime minister, the new Prime Minister of Canada and
say hey, let's go to DC, let's go have a conversation.

(32:56):
And they're not doing it because, first off, the premiere
or the Prime Minister is trying to make a name
for himself. He's trying to come out there and be
a big, bad guy. And he's also not a good guy.
If you look into his pass and everything that he's about.
He's not a good guy for Canada, really, is it.
And I hope that the Canadian voters do decide not
to go with that clown because it will not be

(33:17):
good for Canada. And continuing down this road of fighting
America over the tariffs is not gonna be good for Canada. Sure,
like I said, America's gonna get hurt and initially, but
we will recover very fast from things. Canada not as much,
and neither will some of these other countries. So let's
work together, let's lower all the tariffs. And this is

(33:39):
all they gotta do. Just lower their tariffs, bring things
down to a nice, evil playing field so that we
all can get into the pie and we all share
things and we make it good for each other. But
the Liberals are standing their ground because Donald Trump is evil.
Donald Trump is the worst in the world. We gotta
stop Donald Trump. Keep in mind, the reason why they're

(34:03):
still scared of Donald Trump is not because of the tariffs.
It's because Donald Trump's commitment to ending the deep state,
which he has been doing with Doge. And as you
end the deep state, you also end the deep pockets
of the people who are being paid off. That's what's
really behind all of this. I hate Donald Trump movement.

(34:23):
They're afraid they're losing their power, their control and the money.
Remember in America, it is about sixty seven ish percent
of the wealth in this country belongs to Democrats. And
the Democrats are the ones that are freaking out because
Donald Trump is closing their piggy bank. So don't tell

(34:44):
me that Democrats are not pocketing our tax dollars one
way or another. And this is why we have to
stop Donald Trump, because if we don't stop Donald Trump,
he's going to expose that it's my hand that's in
the piggy bank, and the whole world will not Oh,
we gotta take a quick break. We'll be right back.
Good morning.

Speaker 5 (35:14):
Don't be afraid to say it. Knock it off.

Speaker 1 (35:18):
Back to the Brian Rust Show on News talking at
one oh one.

Speaker 7 (35:22):
All right, welcome back to the show. Good morning. So
Charlemagne the God who is a radio host in podcaster,
he's the guy that Joe Biden had went on to
his show and you don't vote for me, you ain't black.
Charlemage's been an interesting one and he has he at
one point was very on the liberal side. I mean

(35:44):
he still is, but he at one point was like
lib tard liberal side.

Speaker 5 (35:49):
It was bad.

Speaker 7 (35:50):
Charlemage the God who is still not exactly a Donald
Trump cheerleader, but he has come out and looked at
some things and said, oh you know what, hey, look
he may not be the best one. He may not
be the one that I love the most, but let's
talk about this for just a second, about which what's

(36:11):
really truly going on. And he has called out the
Democrats as he should for some of the stupid stuff
that he has done. And he last night was at
the Helm of actually it was Tuesday night. He was
at the Helm of Comedy Central's Daily Show. Because the
Comedy Central's Daily Show they have rotating people that come
in and essentially host the show. And during this he

(36:34):
said that it's not my job to say that that
any particular candidates might need to be primaried and thrown
out of office. But Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer need
to be primaried and thrown out of office. By the way,
the audience actually applauded to that, and they were excited.
And he said that Schumer isn't the right guy to

(36:55):
push back against the President Trump. And he's said that
he's on a impressed with Jeffreys, who he calls the
business casual MorphOS. I like the team of Obama. I
also heard the dollar store Obama as well. Either way,
he's not that great. Charlene, however, was impressed with Corey Booker,

(37:15):
which this is the other thing. Just look, okay, the
guy didn't talk for twenty five hours, and he filled
it with a lot of nonsense content. But again, what
was he doing. He wasn't filibustering, he wasn't trying to
stop a bill from going through. That's not what he
was doing. He was just trying to talk and just bitch,

(37:39):
which is really all he did. He complained about everything
under the sun, filled in a couple of things, did
some emotions about, oh the healthcare Donald Chubb is just
so bad. Oh I need to I get the pig
two oh tears. Oh okay, what else do I gotta do?

(38:01):
I mean, it was the typical Democrat bs anyhow, But
he did say the Democrats just need to fight back,
as he was citing Jasmine Crockett as an example of
Democrats showing authenticity and fight the first of Charlemagne. Jasmine
Crockett is not one who's fighting back, and you don't
need to fight back. You need to figure out how

(38:24):
to implement a plan. You know, I've said this over
and over again, a bit about Washington d C. Where
Washington d C is a game, and you cannot simply
walk into Washington d C and not like the way
the game is going and grab the game board and
throw it across the room because everybody else who's playing

(38:47):
the game is gonna get mad at you. And now
there's no way in hell that you're going to be
able to be a productive member of the game. You
have to go into the game with a strategy to win,
not simply throwing a temper tantrum. And right now, that
is exactly what the Democrats are doing. Now, there were

(39:09):
some people on the Republican side that were doing it,
and Matt Gates was one of them, Marjorie Taylor Green
was one of them, Lauren Bolbart was one of them.
Where they come out swinging, and yes, it's impressive that
they're swinging. It's great that they're willing to stand up
and fight, but what is the ultimate outcome? What was
the plan that you had to present and they didn't.

(39:32):
It was simply fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight. Well,
you can't fight if you don't have a solution once
you win, and that's what the Democrats are doing right now.
They have nothing to present. Donald Trump has brought up

(39:52):
a lot of things and you can't deny them and
argue them because they are real. And the tariffs in
America are getting hit with is one of the reasons
for why, you know, manufacturing has left this country and
have been in other places because it's cheaper to do
it there. So the Democrats rather than coming in and saying, look, yeah,

(40:12):
we want to make it so that things can be
made here in America. We want to make it so
that Americans get jobs. We want to make it so
that your four to one k is doing well. Here's
our ideas, here's our plan. But they don't have one.
Their plan is we've got to stop Donald Trump. Okay,

(40:33):
convince me, as a supporter of Donald Trump, why you're
a better choice than Donald Trump. It's as simple as that.
The only reason for why I support Donald Trump to
the level that I do is because he's got a plan.
He's got a plan that has been proven to work

(40:54):
if it is allowed to work. He understands the business,
he understands the world. And again, you look at all
the stuff that they're saying about Donald Trump and what
he's doing to the country and the image and everything else,
and that's not really true. It is the Liberals that
are just fighting him because of the fact that they
got to go in and throw the board game across
the room because well, I don't like the way the
game is being played. Now. If somebody better was able

(41:19):
to come in, better than Trump, and to be honest
with you, I think there are people that are better
than Trump. They just haven't stepped up. And who knows
it could be a Democrat. A Democrat who is a
business person who understands how to do all this stuff
and understand that the country can't be run like a country,
it has to be run like a business steps in
and says Hey, Donald Trump's got these plans and they're okay.

(41:43):
But if we did this, this, and this instead, we
could produce these results and it might make me and
other people at least go over and go what you're
talking about, willis what you got going on there? But
that's not what's going on right now. Nobody coming forward
with an alternate plan. There's nobody coming up with a

(42:04):
saying a heh, you know that kind of works. But
if we did this, this, and this instead, it'll be better. Instead,
it's fight, fight, fight. We gotta fight. We gotta continue
to fight them. But what's the ultimate outcome. What are
you going to do when you finally defeat Donald Trump?
What is your plan? What is your idea? And they
have got absolutely nothing. And that's one of the things

(42:30):
that the Republican Party right now is missing the boat on.
They're missing the boat by not going up and calling
out the Democrats and say, well, fine, if you don't
like what we're doing, what is your idea? Bring some
ideas to the table. And you don't see that, You
don't see it coming from anybody, not even Trump. If
you got a better plan, speak up, hang on, we

(42:52):
gotta take a break.

Speaker 5 (42:52):
For news.

Speaker 7 (42:53):
We'll be right back.

Speaker 1 (42:54):
Good morning, No broadcasting from this shore of the world's
most beautiful beaches.

Speaker 2 (43:02):
Brian most name, you know the brand? You found the
Brian Rush show.

Speaker 3 (43:08):
Line up the airways in this.

Speaker 1 (43:10):
Wing, crushing the progressive dream one show at a time.

Speaker 4 (43:13):
Melt the snow face were the fiery head talking truth.
You can't always stand fast to show from coast to coast.

Speaker 3 (43:29):
Got the facts, but it ain't little boast.

Speaker 4 (43:31):
Can't do on the chains and give it a toast
to the man who roast the moss knocked it off.

Speaker 6 (43:37):
It's rustled me, cunning, ride my care, saint steaking mine,
don't don't dream free in the tone show Stiller Street.

Speaker 5 (43:49):
Now here's Brian Russ done? You was talking one O one?

Speaker 7 (43:56):
All right, welcome back down over two of the show.
Good morning, Happy Thursday. Thanks so much for waking up
with us today. I'm just I'm very entertained by watching
the propagandas now on social media try and chime in
with their amounts of wisdom. Hairbear, which I really was
kind of hoping was gonna go away, but apparently he's

(44:17):
like a bad fungus or bad herpes that keeps showing
up on the side of his lip. When did I
say that out loud? My bad? Didn't mean to call
you out there, Harry. Where'd you get that one from
one of the eleven twelve thirteen girls that you were
kind of hanging out with. Did it come from the
little point? And where to come from? It's curious going
off saying that the markets are collapsing, the dollars in

(44:37):
free fall, and her allies around the world are disgusted
with Trump's tariffs? Is this the golden age that Trump
talked about? Hairbear? Again? You have to understand, and you
would think that he would be a smart kid, because
first off, his daddy and I got daddy, he's a
finance guy. You would think that, if anything else, if

(45:05):
hair Bear couldn't find an expert somewhere to explain some
things to him, that he couldn't just pick up the
phone and say, Hey, Dad, can I ask you a
question with the tariffs? Because I know that you're a big,
very successful finance person who's lived all around the world.
Because you know, I wasn't even born here in the country,

(45:27):
and we lived in Singapore, and we lived in Dubai,
and we lived in Ireland. We lived in all these
different places where you were a big successful financial person
in foreign countries. What do you think of Trump's tariffs
and what do you think the plan is. To be
honest with you, I'm willing to bet you that Hairbear's
daddy is probably a little bit more on the conservative side,

(45:48):
and that's probably one of the reasons why Hairbear is
the way that he is. But they don't understand. They
simply do not understand of what's going on. Forst of
the dollars not in a free fall. The Canadian dollar
is in a free fall. I mean that one's hurting,
and that one is hurting because of the fact that

(46:09):
they wanted to fight us about everything and that didn't
work out so well. The markets, by the way, they're
not collapsing. Yes, the markets went down a little bit,
but it wasn't that big of a deal. It wasn't.
And look, it went down before during Biden's administration. It's
gone down before in Trump's administration, it's gone down in Obama's,

(46:29):
it's gone down in bushes. It happens, but it's not
a collapse. I mean, are the markets right now going whoop?
Hang on a second, let's see what happens. Yes, they're
doing that, and they did that yesterday, and I'm willing
to bet you today we'll see a rebound. We'll see
a rebound today because look, first off, yesterday's speech. If

(46:53):
you were able to watch it, good on you. I
couldn't watch the entire thing because it was just too
damn long. And it was towards the end of the afternoon.
So you know that as the market was getting ready
to watch this, they knew that there's gonna be some
terifs that were gonna be coming about. And you know
that people were just being cautious and they're like, let's

(47:15):
hang on a second, let's watch, and let's see what
Donald Trump is gonna do. Hang on, hang on, let's see. Okay,
I'm not sure about this yet. But it was late
in the afternoon. This wasn't something that was done at
nine o'clock in the morning Eastern time, where the markets
had time to analyze, look at things and react. It

(47:39):
happened in the afternoon, so as it was building up
to it, sure the markets went, hang on a second,
let's just watch and see what goes on. The real
question will be today and tomorrow and going into next
week what happens. And it's also going to determine what
other countries decide they want to do. There have been
a few countries that have said, well, we're going to

(48:00):
retaliate with our own tariffs. It's like, you're already hitting
us with tariff's, dumbass, this is the whole point of
what we're doing. And fine, you want to hit us
with a bigger tariff, we'll hit you with a bigger
tariff and we'll buy less stuff from your country. Good luck.
The left just does not get it whatsoever. And then

(48:21):
Chris Mawory posting this when he's reposting something that came
from insurrection Barbie. Tariffs are a negotiating tactic. In the
first term, President Trump threatened many tariffs that he did
not follow through on because, unlike the current leadership, Donald
Trump understands how to leverage his position. Chris, did you

(48:41):
really just post that? Did you not understand what it
was that you posted? You know, Donald Trump, he wanted
to do a lot of stuff in his first term.
He was blocked. He was blocked left and right, and
he also had the worst people that were on his team.
And then of course COVID hit, so that threw everything
out the window. This time he's actually doing things, and

(49:02):
the world is going, oh crap, what do we do
because nobody thought it was serious, because nobody bothered to
do this, because remember it was nothing, but this little
I almost said, something really bad had to do with
a circle with a lot of these world leaders in
that one world order, because they've got to have power,
they've got to have control, they've got to have the

(49:22):
money because remember again I pointed this out that the
leftists control sixty to seventy percent of the money in
the world. Think about this and you look at all
the stuff that they do to maintain that power, maintain
that control over the money, because when they control the money,

(49:43):
they control you. And that's what they're doing. And people
have been too blinded by it because one life is
just too busy. People don't have the time to constantly
watch this, so they've taken advantage of us. Donald Trump
is somebody who's had more than enough time to realize
that we're being taken advantage of, and he's called them

(50:05):
out for it. So they don't know what to do.
They don't know how to react to all of this,
and as another reaction to this, and again, knee jerks,
because there's a lot of knee jerks in politics. The
left is now doing this, and again, like I said,
the left right now, what they should be doing is saying, oh,
Donald Trump to tariffs. I know what you're trying to do.
You want to create jobs, you want to do all

(50:27):
this stuff for the business, you want to bring the
taxi come and everything. Can we talk? What is wrong
with that? What is wrong with saying, hey, excuse me,
I got a better idea. It might not be the greatest,
but I've got an idea, and I think mine is better.
Can we talk about it? Can I give you my
idea and maybe we can talk about it. I'm always

(50:51):
very big on don't keep yourself in one tunnel, and
both sides get this. And when I say this, I
mean everybody, like even there's just the average Joe Schmoe
will get this tunnel vision and will be like, Nope,
this is what the Republicans are doing. This is what
we got to do. I can put the blinders on.
I can't see anything else. That's all I'm looking at

(51:11):
is just this and that's it. Well, let me now
and then if you get out of that comfort zone
just a little bit and you look at the other
side and go, all right, fine, what is your idea?
You may be surprised that somebody on the other side
heard something, thought of something, saw something that you didn't see,

(51:35):
and you go ooh the rest of the stuff you
just said I don't agree with, but yeah, I completely
missed that, or at the very least you find out
where they feel on things. But we've gotten to a
point now that we're left and right. There's no center,
there's no looking over on that side. It's my way
or no way. And I think sometimes we do need

(51:58):
to have the little negotiation and we do need to
talk to the other side because you may have missed something.
You know, the phrase of putting another set of eyes
on it. That other set of eyes will sometimes miss something.
And you know what, you can sit down with the Democrats,
and the Democrats may come up with all kinds of crap,
not really may they will. They'll come up with all

(52:20):
kinds of crap, but somebody's gonna say, hey, did we
think about this? And then some of the people on
the right may actually look at it and go, you
know what, no, we didn't think about that. Hey, the
rest of the stuff that you said was stupid, but
spot out on that one. Thank you for catching that,
and then we work together to achieve the goal of

(52:43):
making America great again. Now, I'm I think that the
Republicans are willing to do it. I think Donald Trump
is willing to do it because look, he's a negotiator
and he understands this is what you got to do sometimes.
But the left won't even do it. The left is
not calling for Donald Trump to sit down and be like, hey,
can we talk about it. I got some ideas. You

(53:03):
don't hear it at all. Instead, what we get as
things like this where Adam Shift who was talking about
this last night at MSNBC, where he was talking about
how the Democrats have planned so called shadow shadow hearings
to expose the Trump administration's corruption. So let me get
this straight, Trump and Doge expose massives amounts of corruption, fraud,

(53:35):
waste and abuse that was coming from the left. And
rather than saying, again, oh, we didn't see that. Didn't
know that it was there. Even if it's one of
those moments where you go, oh, crad, I just got busted,
all right, How about I just come out and say,
oh my god, I can't believe that happened. Let's figure

(53:55):
this out. Let's see what we can do. I mean,
act surprise. But they don't even do that. It's dead.
It's well, we're gonna you're corrupt.

Speaker 3 (54:05):
Two.

Speaker 7 (54:08):
That's not the solution to it. But Shifty Shift was asked,
he said, you announced today a set of hearings are
going to have next week with fired DOJ officials, Because yeah,
there you go. Let's bring in the people who were
using the justice system to attack the political opponents and

(54:28):
then got fired for screwing up their job, and you're
gonna bring them in as like witnesses in this hearing. Yeah,
that's reliability. And he was asked, what is it that
you're hoping to learn from them? And as Adam Shift
goes on to say, well, today, as you know, we
saw the case, the corruption case against the mayor of
New York dismissed with prejudice. That means the case can

(54:51):
never be brought again. It wasn't dismissed because of the
lack of evidence. It was dismissed because the administration tried
to engage in a corrupt bargain with the mayor in
which it would make the change their charges go away
at least for a time, and if he would do
their bidding and unrelated policy matters. The only losers there

(55:12):
are are the American people in the Judiciary Committee. We
are not having hearings on any of this and any
of these abuses of power. What happened in New York
is one of many examples. Now, pencil neck Jesus. For
a guy who's a lawyer, he is pretty damn stupid.
Let's talk about what happened in New York with Mayor

(55:35):
Eric Adams. He did something stupid, he really did. He
ended up taking some campaign funds. Allegedly, he took some
campaign funds. I gotta throw the legend in there. Took
those funds in return for business class seats on an airplane. Now,

(55:57):
I'm bougie. I don't even like to fly business class.
Every time that I fly, I try to fly first
class as much as I can, because, look, I'm just bougie.
I admit that all the time. I don't try to
hide it. I don't care. That's just the way that
I am. That's how I prefer to be. So if
you were to come to me as a politician and say, hey, look,

(56:19):
we're gonna give you some campaign funds, and you know
we're gonna we're gonna upgrade you to first class, I'll
be like, no, no, first class isn't good enough. Or
if I was flying business class and you say, oh,
look I want to upgrade in first class, bring you
first class plane tickets? What kind of a bribe is that?

(56:41):
I mean, it's kind of lame. I mean, it really
truly is a lame bribe. Now, should he get hit
with some charges on that, you it should have been
investigating a little bit more. It should have been looked at.
But let's think about where this came up to begin with.
This never would have happened if it wasn't for the
fact that Mayor Eric Adams, who was in a very

(57:04):
tough spot. He's fighting the liberals that he has but
as a police officer, and he said it before, he
just accidentally said it out loud when he knew that
he probably shouldn't have where he would say, hey, here's
the problems that we have in our city. The problems
that we have in our city is the illegals that
are coming in here. The people that are committing the crimes,
and the fact that we can't enforce things and it's

(57:24):
destroying our city. We're going twelve to fourteen billion dollars
into debt because of all this stuff. We got to
stop it. He turned around and went to the administration,
went down to Biden and said, hey, we need you
to help us here. Stop the immigration flow into our city.
It's killing us. And he was told and he actually

(57:45):
came out and said this. He's like, I was told,
go back to Washington, DC and leave us alone. And
it was within a week or two after all of
that happened that all of a sudden, the FBI, the
corrupt FBI, showed up to a public event that the
mayor was doing, which they didn't have to do this
in public. They could have showed up at his office,

(58:06):
she could have showed up at his house. No, they
showed up at a public event, said here's our warrant,
we need your cell phones, here's this we need all
in public, and then they go after all of his people.
Never would have happened if it wasn't for the fact
that Eric Adams stood up to the Biden administration and said, hey,
this immigration thing it's killed us. You got to stop it.

(58:26):
So the corrupt Justice Department went after Mayor Eric Adams legitimately. Yeah,
you know, he did something stupid. It wasn't to the
level of you know, he got private flights and first
class hotels and all this other stuff and money put
into his pocket. No, it was money put into a
campaign and in exchange he got some business class plane tickets.

(58:48):
I mean, Jesus, that is not a good, good bribe.
I mean it really chilly, isn't. If somebody came to
me and said that, I would have laughed them right
out of the room. But as Adam Shift is like,
oh my god, it wasn't dismissed because of a lack
of evidence. No, it was dismissed because it was a
political hit job. It was a political hit job. And

(59:09):
Donald Trump knows it. Our Justice Department now knows it.
And that's why they said this isn't worth going after it.
You know, Yes, that was dumb. Hit him with some
fines or something, but the rest of this just stop.
So Adam Schiff goes on and he says that I'm
teaming up with Jamie Raskin. Yeah, there's another reliable one.
And we're going to do our own hearing to bring

(59:30):
some of the prosecutors who were fired and had to
quit because of these corrupt acts. We're also bringing in
a young attorney who left one of the major law
firms because the law firm, the law firms are working
with the Trump administration and are also giving into his
into this campaign of abusive power and attack of the
rule of law. Dude, do you understand that we are hi,

(59:54):
We're here, hello, you see us. We were watching the
political hit jobs, the weaponization of the Justice Department against Trump,
and now you're acting as if like Donald Trump is
the worst thing in the world because he said, hey, look,
you know what the whole thing with the Eric Adams, Look,
that was a political hit job. We're just gonna let
that go because, like you Mayor, we want to take

(01:00:18):
care of the city. We want to solve these problems.
But Adam Schiff continued on saying that we're shedding light
through these spotlights or shadow hearings, and like we're going
to do on Monday at three point thirty, we're going
to expose this corruption at the top level of the
Justice Department of the American people. For the American people
to see. And that's one way also of putting pressure

(01:00:41):
on this administration and pressure on our Republican colleagues to
do something about the runaway corruption of this administration. The
administration isn't being corrupt. They went into the Justice Department
that was being used as a weapon against the American people,
and they said, you're fired. You're fired, You're fired, You're fired.

(01:01:02):
Look Donald Trump and his Justice Department. Not that I
would believe that that Pam Bondi would end up doing it,
but at least with Cash Bettel. They should have investigated
these people, and they should have brought them up on
charges of using the Justice Department and using the the
the the laws and stuff to go after not really

(01:01:23):
using the laws, but using the Justice Department to politically
go after people. Instead, they just fired him. They said,
get out. But here's the left. They gotta, we gotta,
we gotta expose the corruption of Donald Trump. Be careful
what you wish for, be careful what you do. This
might bag fire on you big time. We gotta take

(01:01:44):
a quick brank, go brad bag. This is the Bride
Rush Show. Good morning.

Speaker 5 (01:02:00):
To say it, knock it off.

Speaker 1 (01:02:02):
Back to the Brian Rust Show on News Talk at
one oh one.

Speaker 7 (01:02:07):
I heard welcome back to the show. Good morning. At
least this morning on social media, I'm getting some good entertainment.
Senator Corey Booker is a national treasure. What he's doing
is so impressive. The hell is he doing? I mean, seriously,
what what is he doing? He's so amazing because he

(01:02:29):
stood up and he held up to the Senate for
a whole day or two and he just said nothing
but a bunch of just yapping. Oh so what came
out of it? Did we save the world? Did we
did we come up with a solution for something? Now?
We we just heard about his dad, and we heard
about the made up stories about the American plight, and

(01:02:53):
we just heard about Oh I just I'm so emotional
about things and I gotta keep talking and this is
amazing that.

Speaker 3 (01:03:03):
Oh jeez.

Speaker 7 (01:03:05):
And the whole thing with Corey Booker, it was pretty lame.
It really truly was. It was nothing but a complaining
session with once again, as the Democrats are doing now,
complaining but not offering any solutions. You're part of the
problem when you don't come with a solution. And to
watch these people just continually like praise him. Even Jasmine

(01:03:27):
Crockett having to quote Corey Booker tell me the wretched
truth about America because that speaks to our greatness. Look
like that's gonna be like a inspirational quote. The wretched
truth about America. The wretched truth about America is that
there's so many people that actually buy in to what

(01:03:48):
the Democrats keep saying. That's the wretched truth. We got
to take a break for news here at bottom of
the hour. We'll be right back. This is the Brad
Rush Show. Good morning, Happy Thursday. Thanks for waking up
with us today.

Speaker 1 (01:04:11):
Doing our part to save America. The Brian Rust Joe.
He's on news talking one oh one.

Speaker 7 (01:04:17):
All right, welcome back to the show, Happy Thursday. I
should wake it up with us. Remember that I was
for it before I was against it. When I was
for it, against it, but then I was against being
for it, and then I was for it before I
was against it. Wait, hang on, let me feel which
way the wind is blowing. Talking about Gavin Newsom, Jesus man,

(01:04:39):
just stick to it, Just find something and stick to it.
Gavin Newsom, who recently you can tell he is gearing
himself up for a twenty twenty eight run for the presidency,
and he's trying his best, and I'll I'll give him
a few props he's trying. One of the things that
he is doing is that he he is he's definitely

(01:05:01):
feeling the wind because remember Gavin Newscomb, he's been very
much so liberal, very much so pushing all of the
liberal agenda of the transgender and the renaming of things
and all the other stupidity that he has done for
a very long time. But he now he's realized that
if I want to become the president of the United States,
I Am not going to be able to do that

(01:05:22):
because most of America, a vast majority of America, does
not support a lot of the overwhelming, in your face
aspect of the transgender and all this other woke policies.
So Gavin Newsom has been slightly trying to show that
he's he's a little bit on the other side, slightly

(01:05:44):
not doing a great job at it, but he's getting going.
He's got his podcast now so that he can be
like the hip kids, and he'll do that, and he's
inviting all these conservative people on so that he can
sprinkle his flavor into that side. A little bit. But
now he's backpedaled a little bit as he's defending his
states radical left transgender policy. California has numerous appealing laws

(01:06:09):
appalling transgender laws, including the one that prohibits school districts
from requiring teachers to notify parents when their children choose
a different gender than the one that was assigned to
them at birth based on biological sex. Now, I remember
there was a day when teachers were allowed to, you know,

(01:06:30):
call up the parents and say, hey, just want to
let you know that little Johnny just doesn't seem to
be himself right now. Is everything okay? Little Johnny wasn't
coming in and saying call me Jill, but don't tell anybody,
wasn't coming in dressed up as a girl, wasn't doing
all this other stuff. Just Johnny seemed a little off.

(01:06:50):
Johnny was in his normal, happy self, and teachers were
able to call the parents and say, hey, I've noticed
a little bit of a difference in Johnny, and you know,
wanted to talk to you about it. And now it
is frowned upon for a teacher to be like, hey, look,

(01:07:13):
just want to let you know that your son's coming
in and he wants us to refer to him as
as Jill and he shows up his school dressed as
a boy, but then he goes to the bathroom. Is
everything cool?

Speaker 5 (01:07:29):
You know?

Speaker 7 (01:07:30):
Are you aware of this? You can't do that now,
Oh my god, that is just appalling. Mcavin. Newsom had
previously stated that allowing charon's gender athletes into women's sports
was deeply unfair and that the Democrats should own and
acknowledge it, adding that the issue that the whole thing
is an issue of fairness in sports and completely legit.

(01:07:50):
He did that when he was appearing on HBO's Real
Time with Bill Maher, and he stated that on the
right foot by describing his party as judgmental and toxic,
and that he urged it to mature on the trans issues. Look,
you're gonna get a parent, There's no doubt about it

(01:08:11):
that you're going to get a parent that if you
notified them and say, hey, these are some of the
things we noticed with your son or your daughter, that
the parent is gonna freak out. There are going to
be parents that that no matter what, no matter what
you love your child or whatever else, that absolutely no
way is my child going to be that way. And

(01:08:33):
there could be a problem. We see that, we know that,
we can acknowledge that, but we also have to acknowledge
because science has proven, statistics have proven that when you
go down that that journey that you're on of trans
into whatever else it is, especially when you're in that

(01:08:55):
teenage phrase, a phase of your life where everything is
confusing and you're brain is still developing, that there is
a high high rate of suicide. Now, while I am
a very firm believer in you be you boo boo,
when you are to a point of being able to
make a rational decision of your own based upon your feelings,

(01:09:18):
which generally is at a time when your mind is
completely developed. And again that is when you enter your
mid early twenties, is when the brain is finally developed.
And if somebody in their mid twenties says, you know what,
I want to be transgender, or I want to be this,
I want to be that, I want to that is
at this point a grown ass adult who's developed and

(01:09:40):
has decided that that's how they want to be. But
doing this with children and encouraging it with children, especially
when the suicide rate is so high in that area,
that maybe it's one of these things that we should
get back to. Hey, Johnny just doesn't seem himself lately.
Is everything okay? And why it is that the left

(01:10:05):
doesn't want to support that and look at that and
allow parents because you know what, there may be a
parent that knows about it or didn't know about it
and is going to be encouraging. Well I don't want
to use the word encouraging, but at least would sit
down with a little Johnny and go, is everything okay?
Is there anything you want to talk to me about?

(01:10:26):
You know, hey, I love you, you know, be a parent,
you know, let's talk about this a little bit. You're
sure that this is what you want? Is this sure
what you really want to do? And talk to them
about things, explain the dangers of things, be a parent.
But the Democrats don't want people to be parents. They

(01:10:49):
just want you to be a breeder. Bread it, pop
it out, give it to me. We got it from here,
don't you worry about it? And that has got to change,
and you know what I think, and need to put
their foot down and say no, I don't think so.
I mean, if there's a parent who's gonna turn around
and all of a sudden be abusive towards a child

(01:11:12):
because the child is saying that they're gay or that
they want to be transgender or whatever, you know what.
That that gets dealt with then, and honestly, it'd be
a rare thing. Sure is a father and a mother
gonna be upset disappointed. Probably there'll be a lot of that,
But there's also gonna be a lot of people that
are just gonna be embracing of their child because they

(01:11:34):
love them and are going to be there to support
them through a confusing time for them and help them
maybe understand that maybe this isn't what you really want,
maybe maybe things are, but don't say, oh my god, yeah,
we can't tell the parents about this. And what we're
gonna do is we're gonna get them encouraged for surgery,
and we're gonna bring them in and we're gonna we're
gonna groom them and do all this other stuff and
completely take the parent out. Because I'm sorry. If I

(01:11:56):
had a child in a school did that to me,
there's probable not enough resource officers in the Bay County
Police Department to be able to hold me back from
snatching the life out of the teacher that did that.
I'm gonna be honest with you. If I had children
and you f't with my children, no, no, there would

(01:12:18):
be no stopping me. Not that I'm saying that it
ever has to get to that point, but I'm just
saying this whole thing with taking the parents out of
raising the children is not a good thing. And Gavin
Newsom doing the whole flip flopping back and forth thing
here and of course like oh no, well we can't
have boys and women's sports, and then he got the blowback,

(01:12:41):
and now he's trying to be like, well, you know, hey,
it once it's not fair for the sports, but with
other things, you know, we could do that. And you know, oh,
because now he's trying to fight back because the loud
mouths on the left, the progressive liberals, are mad at
him because he called them judgmental and toxic. But then
you get Hollywood, Hollywood, like they get on this bandwagon

(01:13:07):
too about just whatever it is that is now the
new thing, and obviously transgender is the new thing. And
again keep in mind the percentage of people that actually
are doing this, and we are allowing society to be changed,
We are allowing so many things to be affected in
schools for you can't even call it a minority because

(01:13:29):
it's such a small amount. It's a minute amount of people,
and we are affecting everybody over it. But Kelly Clarkson
was using her TV show on NBC Now to promote
the Trans Day of Visibility by interviewing a transgender artist
about an album that was released last November, and they

(01:13:49):
wanted to talk about it, and she said that, you know,
we want to tell you about a new album that
celebrates the beauty of trans community and all of the
artists within it. Now, first off, I saw this artist.
Look there is I'm just gonna be honest about this.

(01:14:11):
There's a few transgender artists that if you didn't know,
and and I don't know if anybody has heard of
Kim Petris. Kim Petris came out of the song in
several songs and actually is a very successful artist in
in Europe, has had a few hits here in the
in the in the US. If you didn't know, you

(01:14:34):
wouldn't know. And I only found out after I found
out about Kim Petris, the artist with the music, and
I was like, oh, I kind of like this, and
then all of a sudden, I was like, I gotta
do some Who's Kim Petris? And I'm like, oh, I
had no idea because it was one of these ones

(01:14:54):
where it could fool you. You're look and you go, dang,
how you Oh wait a second, it's a dude. I
didn't know that. But artist wise just gets out there
performs the she's kind of a he whatever, Well, this
one has gone all the way, you know, Snip has
done the whole thing, a lot of loss surgery in

(01:15:16):
the whole thing. Even sounds like a girl. But if
you listen to the music, you're like, if you like
that type of music, You're like, oh, this isn't bad.
You would have no idea. This thing that Kelly Clarkson
brought in look like some drunk guy that was walking
down an alleyway that found a wig and some lipstick

(01:15:39):
and some sort of makeup and tried to put it
on and be like I'm a girl, No you're not.
But I'm just over this whole thing with Hollywood shoving
this down our throat. And again, things like the Kim Petris,
who is a transgender that I didn't even know was

(01:15:59):
a tender until after I discovered the music, and I
was like, I like this artist. This artist got some
good music. I can jam away to this. This is good.
Oh transgender. I had no idea, but why we have
to have this stuff shoved down our throat all the time.

(01:16:20):
It's just it's getting to a point. It's just annoying.
It's just please stop, just please stop, will you. We
got to take a quick break. When we come back.
I got to talk about some of the new spring
Break ordinances that have been put into effect under the
emergency thing. We'll talk about that coming up just a
little bit. We'll be right back.

Speaker 1 (01:16:34):
Good morning, Taking back America one uncensored and uncontrolled show
at a time.

Speaker 5 (01:16:43):
It's the Brian Rush Show and it's on News Talking One.

Speaker 7 (01:16:46):
Oh all right, welcome back to the show. Good morning,
Happy Thursday. Thanks for waking up with us today. Spring
Break boy, this has been an interesting spring break to
say the least, with the recent shooting that happened at
Pure Park where there was three individuals, three young individuals
that were shot last weekend and obviously several people being

(01:17:09):
rounded up in that. Panama City Beach has once again
enacted a few restrictions in order to really kind of
increase some of the safety and one of these things
that are being talked about, which by the way, is
not just it's not just the city of Panama City
Beach that's doing this. It's actually really pure park that
has kind of stepped up and went, Okay, these are

(01:17:30):
some of the things that we need to do, and
obviously the law enforcement is going to step up to
And I just kind of say this too, I'm not
gonna try and criticize law enforcement because I'm not because
law enforcement here when they're doing the beach, they're put
in really tough spaces. They really truly are. And this

(01:17:51):
is one of the things I can't stand for law enforcement.
For about I don't know how the best word to
put it, but what I can't stand is that law
enforcement nowadays is not allowed to do their job. They're
not allowed to do their job. And when they do
do their job, they're the bad guys. But then when

(01:18:14):
they don't do the job, they're the bad guys, and
we've got to criticize them, We got to crack down
on them and everything else. And I've talked a little
bit about some of the stuff with spring Break on
how I feel about it, and I'm at a point
now where I mean, I've never really been a tolerant
of the of the PC thing. And obviously there's a
level of you know, you don't want to let police

(01:18:36):
officers go too far on some things, but there is
a certain point where you have to understand that law
enforcement is there to enforce laws and when you were
going to act a fool, you know what, it's on you.
And it's sad enough that you know, every police officer
now has to wear body cams and have cameras in

(01:18:57):
the cars and all kinds of stuff and cameras everywhere
because the losers in our society that mess around, that
cause problems, they end up being the ones that end
up being the winner on this because they are the
ones that screwed up. They're the ones that acted a fool,
and when the law enforcement comes in to say, hey,

(01:19:18):
not get off, the law enforcement ends up being the
bad guy because they told him to knock it off.
And I think we all know that at this point,
you know, the thing that we really need to see
happen is not do things that affect the general public
as a whole. To this day, the thing that I
still cannot stand and I wish that Panama City beach

(01:19:40):
and the county would would stop doing. It's the alcohol thing,
the stopping the alcohol on the beach, not being able
to buy alcohol anywhere in the county. Like I live
in Southport and I don't drink very often. I all
have like a margarita or something every once in a
while when I go to Diegos, But I'm not somebody
who stops to get a six pack or whatever. But

(01:20:00):
when I'm stopping at the gas station in Southport and
I look and there's a sign there that says, hey,
you can't buy alcohol during this time period because of
people that are acting a fool out on the beach.
What if I wanted to have a beer after work
now I can't do it because I can't get it
because of some fools that are acting there. So I
get affected. What if I have my million dollar house

(01:20:23):
out on the beach, out on the water, or I
live out on the water or out on the beach someplace,
and I want to take my significant other out to
walk out on the beach or the glass of wine
or something watch the sunset. Can't do it because certain
people acted a fool. My thing is this target them,

(01:20:43):
target the people who act a fool and discipline those people.
But the problem is is that the police are more
handcuffed than the bad guys because we don't want it.
We don't want it to reflect back out on the police.
And if the police don't treat the people with the

(01:21:04):
kindest kid gloves, then oh my god, the police are
the worst. I'm sorry. When it comes to these dirtbag
lawyers that will go after the police because they arrested
their client because they were acting a fool, we got
to stomp this. And the judges that allow this stuff,
We've got to stomp this. And the politicians that will
not stand behind our law enforcement, we've got to stomp

(01:21:26):
that too. My solution to it is, hey, Jr. Tommy,
go do what you got to do. Don't be militaristic,
don't go beating people, but show the presence, do what
you got to do. If you see a crowd that

(01:21:47):
is obviously causing a problem, you go deal with that
crowd in the way that you need to do it.
Swarm them with one hundred comps, stop everybody and look
at them and do some checks. Hey found some guns
on these, take care of them. Also, let's use a
little bit of common sense. Hey, how old are you,
You're eighteen, Come on, you're not supposed to have that alcohol.

(01:22:08):
Pour it out. Give them the fear of law enforcement.
Give them the fear of if they get to a
point that they're arrested, that it's gonna reflect on them
negatively for their future. Have a fear. There's no fear
for law enforcement anymore. A big deal. Whatever. I'll just

(01:22:28):
say that the cops said something to me, and then
the cop will get in trouble and I'll get off
on it, even though I'm the one that's sitting here
acting like an a hole. But some of the new
things that are starting tomorrow at peer Park to be
adding some of the restrictions that are already in order
or will be, such things like from an eight pm
to five am curfew for unaccompanied minors. First of aut,

(01:22:49):
if peer Park closes at like nine ten o'clock at night,
nobody should be there anyhow, so go home. I mean,
I'm just saying, but there will be an eight pm
to five am curfew for minors, So anyone under the
age of eighteen must have an adult to stay on
the property past eight pm. Peer Park is also prohibiting backpacks,
larger bags, weapons, and alcohol during the restrictions. So how's

(01:23:15):
that gonna work out for the place that are serving alcohol?
Just asking let's get some more details. Management is also
establishing security checkpoints at all the entrances to check for
prohibited items and these measures will be in place until
five am on April seven. Now here's a question as well,
who's gonna man all these checkpoints? And anybody who's been

(01:23:40):
to Peer Park knows there's a hundred and one different
ways of entering into Peer Park. I mean, are you
gonna lock the entire thing down? Are we going to
have hundreds of police officers just doing a complete border
shutdown of Peer How is this gonna work? And of
course it's going to inconvenience people. But here's the thing.

(01:24:03):
Go after the bad people, go after the element. That's
what we need to start doing. Now. I love JR.
I think he is a fantastic police chief, and I
think he's done a great job there. But here's the thing.
We have to untie the hands of our law enforcement.
We have to support our law enforcement, we have to

(01:24:24):
let them do their job, have the presence. It's amazing
what just simply the presence actually does, and we need
to hear more and more of it. Let them do
their job and stop making it so that the law
abiding citizens are the ones that have to suffer for
all of this stuff. Of course, there will probably be

(01:24:47):
some more knee jerk reactions to from some of the
politicians on what to do. Reading some of the comments
on Facebook, people are not all that happy about it.
We also see things with was that the mall security
man checking points private security private property. I mean, it
is private property, so they could do whatever they want
to do on this, But it's gonna be one of

(01:25:08):
these things that there's so many other options for things.
And I knew that there's gonna be some knee jerk
reactions happening, but I wish that we would have better
conversations about a lot of this, I really do, instead
of knee jerk stuff. And number one, first and foremost,
let law enforcement do their job. Stop tying their hands,

(01:25:30):
stop making them out to be the bad guys. You
had to stop and say, why did the police officer
have to wrestle my son to the ground. Oh, because
he was resisting in being a jerk. So it's your
son that was being the idiot, not the cop. The
cop was doing his job. We got to take a
break for news. We'll be right back. This is the
Brian Ross Show.

Speaker 1 (01:25:50):
Good morning, No broadcasting from the shores of the world's
most beautiful beaches.

Speaker 3 (01:25:58):
Prime most name you the brand you.

Speaker 5 (01:26:01):
Found The Brian Rush Show.

Speaker 3 (01:26:04):
Limb up the airways in this.

Speaker 1 (01:26:06):
One, crushing the progressive dream one show at a time.

Speaker 3 (01:26:09):
Melting snowface. We're the fiery head talking truth. You can't
always stand fast to show from coast to coast.

Speaker 4 (01:26:25):
Got the facts, but it ain't no boast, can't deal
on the chains and give it a toast to the
man who.

Speaker 3 (01:26:31):
Roasts the moose. Knocked it off. It's rustled.

Speaker 6 (01:26:34):
Me go in my care seats, steaking mine. Don't don't
dream free in the Tom Show, still the street.

Speaker 5 (01:26:45):
Now here's Brian Russ done? You was talking one oh one?

Speaker 7 (01:26:52):
All right, welcome back to the show. Good morning, and
thanks so much for waking up with us. Happy Thursday,
sort of a happy Thursday. It's obviously not the happiest
of Thursdays. And some sad news and I hate this.

(01:27:13):
I get so mad, so incredibly mad that our law
enforcement is treated the way that they are treated. These
are people who and I'm sorry if I get a
little emotional on this because I'm mad the way that

(01:27:34):
our left and the quote unquote Justice Department, and the
way that the politicians act, where we all know that
there's an idiot every now and then. In law enforcement,
there's that one who should never be a cop.

Speaker 3 (01:27:55):
We know that.

Speaker 7 (01:27:57):
Not everybody is perfect, but every day you have brave
men and women in our law enforcement who they strap
on that vest, that badge and their gun and they

(01:28:19):
get into the car and they run out to rescue you,
come running to your call for when you need help.
They enforce some laws. Sure, we hate it when a
police officer pulls you over because you were speeding. You
want to cust the officer out. We get it two
of myself. Every now and then there is that officer

(01:28:43):
that does something you just kind of and we're talking
about the spring break. I want to see the law
enforcement do their job, and I want to see them
held back. I want to see them be able to
protect things. I want them to be able to keep
the peace in our society. And I wanted so that
when the bad guys do something bad and the police

(01:29:05):
officers step in to correct the problem. That the Justice Department,
our courts, and our prosecutors, that they prosecute these people,
that we teach them the Lesson Wednesday night, another dirt

(01:29:37):
bag in our society decided to take the life of
one of the Walton County Deputy sheriffs. And this is wrong.
This is a young man. Deputy William May, who was

(01:30:04):
doing his job. Walton County Sheriff has had nothing but
praises for this young man. We've seen these idiots in society. Thankfully,
we don't have them quite as much here as we

(01:30:24):
do in other areas. But we had an idiot acting up.
Deputy May, who by the way, was working some overtime,
volunteered to do an overtime shift responding to a call
the Dollar General, spent about ten to fifteen seconds having

(01:30:48):
a discussion with the suspect before the suspect decided to
exit the store with Deputy May walking right behind him.
A situation where I don't know all the details of
why Deputy May was called to the Dollar General, and
I'm sure we'll get more of that information, but either way,
the deputy shows up to address this suspect has a

(01:31:13):
ten to fifteen second long discussion with him, walks him out.
The suspect turns around and opens fire on the deputy.
The deputy hit multiple times, the deputy thankfully being able
to return fire and killing that scumbag. And I am

(01:31:35):
so thankful to Deputy May for killing that scumbag. I
hope that he destroyed him when he shot him and
killed him, because no matter what it was that Deputy
May was responding to this person for it was not
worth in any shape or form of opening fire and

(01:31:58):
a law enforcement person. A lot of these times, when
it's a call where you're just being a nuisance in
the Dollar General or wherever it might be that you're at,
and the officer shows up, sometimes it's just as simple,
Hey dude, knock it off, just go away. They don't
want you here, go away. And instead, this dirt bag

(01:32:22):
thought that it was better to be able to turn
around and open fire on this young deputy. And he's young,
Deputy William May. The deputy was shot multiple times, even
though he did have his vest on. Some of the

(01:32:44):
bullets unfortunately got up underneath the vest. He was rushed
to the hospital. He had his surgery, but unfortunately didn't
make it all because of this dirt bag, a dirt
bag that I'm sure was a situation that would have
just been you just got to leave the Dollar General.
And yet this is what we have. We now have

(01:33:06):
a family that is grieving a loss, a community that
is grieving a loss, and we lose a young deputy
who every day straps on his badge, gets into his car,
make sure that society is protected when somebody is calling
for help, comes running into help, doesn't think about himself,

(01:33:29):
just runs into help. And this is the payback that
Deputy William May gets. He gets shot and killed by
a dirt bag for absolutely no reason. Again, I am,

(01:33:50):
I'm glad that Deputy May shot and killed that dirt bag.
I really am. I hope it was a slow, painful,
bleedout dying that he did. But again, the reason for
why we end up having these types of things is

(01:34:12):
because we allow in society, because of the Justice Department
in the way that they have allowed dirt bags to
essentially get away with being dirt bags and not having
to have consequences for their actions, that they feel empowered
and emboldened to do this type of stuff. We've gotten
to a point where there's such a lack of respect

(01:34:32):
from the dirt bags of our society for law enforcement,
because what are they gonna do. Oh, they arrest me
and they take me to jail, and then I get
some dirt bag lawyer that gets me off on some
sort of a technicality. I have the utmost respect for

(01:34:55):
our law enforcement. I may not agree with them on
some things, but I have the absolute, utmost respect for them.
The fact that when you need their help, they come running.
They don't do it because you know, some sort of
a glory whatever. These are people and anybody who does

(01:35:16):
it for the glory shouldn't be there either. They're good
people who just want to help the community, that want
to protect their fellow citizens. And for this dirt bag,
And I don't even care what his name is, I
really don't. Don't ever want to hear his name, never
want to hear his name. All I want to know

(01:35:37):
is that he's dead, and he is that he decided
to just turn around and in something that should have
never ended this way and take the life of a deputy,
a young deputy who had a bright future ahead of him.
It's stuff like this that happens that makes me even

(01:35:57):
more angry when I see law enforce being held back,
when I see law enforcement get out and do their job,
only to have the courts let somebody off and then
we can't do this, and oh, you can't do this,
and you can't do that. I asked the question all
the time, why the hell would you want to be
a law enforcement officer? Nowadays? I mean, why would you?

(01:36:23):
Which at this point, when I look at what law
enforcement has to deal with and to see that people
actually still get into law enforcement, like the young Deputy
William May, I have even more respect for them, because again,
why would you want to deal with this? Why would
you want to work in a society where you know

(01:36:45):
you're constantly in danger because people think that they're in
bolden and have the ability to go off and do this,
and that they think that it is okay that because
of the fact they're causing a disturbance somewhere, that they
can just shoot a police officer. Again, thank you, Deputy
May for the very last action that you did by
removing this dirt bag, scumbag piece of crap off the

(01:37:08):
face of this earth. But again, because of these dirt bags,
we have a family mourning their loss.

Speaker 5 (01:37:21):
We lose.

Speaker 7 (01:37:24):
A valuable member of our society because of the dirt bag.
And this is why this stuff has got to stop.
We've got to have law enforcement. You cannot have a
society without laws and enforcing those laws. And any of
these democrats that get out there and say, oh, we

(01:37:44):
gotta be nicer, we gotta do it, No, you don't,
because this is what it leads to. It leads to
a dead young deputy because you embolden these dirt bags,
scumbag pieces of crap of our society to think that
it is okay to do this type of stuff. It

(01:38:06):
just it gets me so angry because again, we can
we can disagree with law enforcement all day long, and
there's nothing wrong with that, there really isn't, but to
do this type of stuff, to put them in danger
when all they want to do is protect us, and

(01:38:28):
we don't look at these dirt bags and crack down
on them more. Just it's it. It hits me hard
also knowing that this young man who lost his life
on Wednesday night because of a dirt bag. I'm sorry.

(01:38:52):
We need to crack down more on the dirt bags.
I really do, and I hope we all uh We
all keep the May family in our thoughts and prayers,
and thank you again Wi May for removing that dirt
bag from life.

Speaker 1 (01:39:21):
Doing our part to save America. The Brian rust Joe
is on news talking.

Speaker 7 (01:39:27):
One oh one. All right, welcome back to the show.

Speaker 5 (01:39:29):
Good morning.

Speaker 7 (01:39:29):
Sorry that last segment really just it got me, really did.
But this is what we deal with with the left,
the normalization of crime, the normalization of being a nuisance

(01:39:50):
to society, and so much of this comes from the judges.
I mean, granted, we have some great judges here in
this area. We don't and you know, we was talking
about this the other day in the office about how
here in Bay County we almost live in a little

(01:40:11):
bit of a bubble. We really do. I'm somebody who
has lived all over there around the country. I've seen
all kinds of things, and I obviously I pay attention
to a great deal of things that are going on
around the country. And you see what goes on in
places like Saint Louis, Washington, d C, New York, Chicago,
you know, all these big places where things are not good,

(01:40:32):
and you see the way law enforcement is treated, I
mean New York City. To be a cop in New
York City. I mean, that's almost a suicide mission. It's like,
why would you want to be a cop in New
York City when it's okay to attack a police officer
when you're here illegally and beat the crap out of them,
only to be completely released and nothing happened and you

(01:40:56):
walk scott free. And you have these judges around the
country in a lot of these places that are okay
with this type of stuff, even though there's laws that
are written that say you can't do this, and if
you do it, here's the consequence. Oh, we can't do
that because, oh, the poor person. What about the person

(01:41:19):
that you injured? What about the person that you beat up?
What's about it? What about the person you've shot? What
about the family of the person whose life you took?
What about you know, all of the damages you've done
to society. Well, it's okay because you just have to understand. No,
we don't have to understand. What we have to understand
is how in the hell can you be a judge

(01:41:40):
and rule in a way that you don't discipline the
bad people in society? What do you think is gonna
happen in society when you don't discipline the bad people.
You get young deputies being shot and killed is what
you get. You get grandma beaten up in the sub

(01:42:00):
way and people laughing at it think it's no big deal.
You get police officers beaten up like crazy. You get
people thinking that, oh, I don't have to stop for
the police. I'll just keep on going. You get people
who think it's okay for me to just carry a
gun around, and when I get upset, I'll just shoot
at people. You get breaking into stores and doing all

(01:42:23):
this damage and realizing that there's nothing that's gonna happen. Oh,
what's the worst thing. Oh I get my picture taken
and I get a free meal at the jail and
spend the night in jail. But you know what, I
walk out with street cred. That's great. But what about
the rest of us? What about the rest of us
in society that I have to put up with now,
an emboldened piece of crap. There's no discipline anymore for

(01:42:49):
doing things wrong. Yet with our courts, if you get
caught with a small amount of pot, you can get
locked up in jail forever. If you go be a
piece of crap in society, and damage things, steal things,
do Oh, you know it, it's okay, you just needed it.

(01:43:14):
You go beat up a police officer, Well, you know what,
the police officer probably deserved it. I mean, this is
the way that we are developing our society for the
bad people. Screw you, the actual good law abiding citizen.
You know, we need to take your guns away so
that you can't protect yourself. When somebody is in a

(01:43:35):
subway threatening to hurt everybody in there, and somebody stands
up to protect everybody else because that's what they were
trained to do to protect others, and the next thing,
you know, that's the bad guy. We need to lock
him up in prison forever and not address the fact
that he saved other people from at the very least injury.

(01:44:01):
We're going the wrong way when it comes to enforcing
laws in this country, and it is all powered by
the Democrats. And what amazes me is that Democrat voters
they're cool with this. It boggles the mind, It really

(01:44:23):
truly does. New Gingridge was on Fox Business on Tuesday,
and he said that it's concerning about some of the
district judges that are shaping national policy, especially when they
are overruling decisions made by the president of the United States.
I mean, this is how bad our judicial system is getting.

(01:44:46):
They don't want to discipline people that are doing bad things,
and then they think that they have the ability to
shape the national policy. The judges are thinking they can
overrule with the president of the United States once because well,
that's how I feel about it. Show me the law.
Where does it say that a judge in some district

(01:45:07):
somewhere can overrule a national policy because they disagree with
Donald Trump. Sure, if Donald Trump was doing something that
was on a dictorial level that was breaking the law,
and you can say, hey, look, according to the law
right here, it says it, donald Trump can't do this,
and if he does it, it's bad and there's punishment,

(01:45:28):
then okay. But instead we have a judicial system that
is running wild, that is playing politics and not taking
care of the American people, teach the bad people lessons. Instead,
we have to lock up mom and dad because they

(01:45:49):
spanked their child for doing something wrong. Something has gone
wrong with our society, it really truly has. We need
to correct it. And it starts with the rules. And
these liberal judges. Stop electing them, get them out of power.
We got to take a quick break. We'll be right back.
This is the Brian Rush Show. Good morning, Thanks so

(01:46:10):
much for listening. Do appreciate it. We'll be right back.

Speaker 1 (01:46:16):
If you're looking for candy Coated and Brian is not
the Willy Wonka you're looking for.

Speaker 5 (01:46:21):
It's the Brian Rush Show on News Talk at one
oh one.

Speaker 7 (01:46:24):
All right, riddle me this, batman. So you come up
with a bill that essentially says, hey, here in the
United States of America, just like in every other country,
that allows the citizens to vote, the only people that
are going to be allowed to vote are the citizens.

(01:46:45):
But if you only allow the citizens to vote and
not just any random person who comes across the border
and comes into our country, that is voter suppression. Oh
my god, TIMU will buy you are a special level
of stupid. Yeah, this is what it. Keeme Jeffries is

(01:47:06):
saying that the bill, which is designed to ensure only
American citizens vote in our elections is voter suppression. This man,
he really, truly is a special kind of stupid. Like
all you gotta do is look at him, and you

(01:47:26):
can tell that he's And somebody called him the other day,
I saw the dollar tree Obama. But he's more like,
I don't even know if Team of Obama is enough
to It's just he's what is the deal with this guy?
It's voter suppression to not let people who are not
from here to vote. What again, there's so many times

(01:47:52):
I wish I could just sit down and actually have
some conversations with some of these idiots, just so I
can get a better feel of where they stand with things.
You know, in Hiquem Jeffrey's X page, he has something
that is still pinned to his page from January fourth,

(01:48:13):
back when the speaker vote came through and he didn't
become the Speaker of the House, and it was social
Security and Medicare are earned benefits. Back off. First off,
social Security, Haquem, is not a benefit. Social Security is
money that is being stolen from you in the promise
of them giving it back to you later on while

(01:48:35):
you and your other idiot politicians dip into it and
waste that money. It's not a benefit. It is a
stolen money that is promised to be given back to
us later while you use it. And again, there is
no attempt to remove social Security or Medicare away from

(01:48:57):
the people. So we are now going on April fourth.
So for four months we've been healing this lie over
and over and over and over again about how Donald
Trump and the Republicans are going to take away your
Social Security. They're going to take away your medicare. Oh,

(01:49:18):
it's the worst thing in the world. But it's all lies.
And it's not a matter of oh I didn't get
that right, because look, we all get that. We all
read something one way, here's something one way, and then
we go, oh, that was uh, sorry, my bad, that
was increct But do you mean to tell me that?

(01:49:38):
Over the past four months, nobody has been bothered to
come up and say, excuse me, speak mister uh Hakim. Yeah,
they're not going to take away the Social Security it's
they're working on the administrative aspect. No social Security benefits
are still there. You mean to tell me that, nob

(01:50:00):
But he's come up to him to correct him. Nobody's
come up to any of the other Democrats to say, hey,
by the way, we were wrong about that. They're not
actually taking it away. Instead, they continue down that narrative
about how Donald Trump is taking it away because all
they've got is fear. And like I've said a few

(01:50:21):
times to the show today. They have failed to present
anything for a solution. It's a Republican recession, is what
he's now saying. It's crashing the economy. Republicans are crushing
the economy. By the way, there is a theory that

(01:50:42):
has floated out there of what Donald Trump is kind
of doing with some of the economy, doing that to
be able to force the Fed into lowering some of
the interest rates. That may be a possibility. But he
came Jeffrey's coming out saying the Trump tariffs are raising
car and making life less affordable. This is not a

(01:51:02):
liberation day, It's a recession day in America. Hey, yakeem,
where are you to stand up for America? Because remember,
we're here for the working class. Where are you to
stand up and say, hey, by the way, yeah, Canada,
when are you going to lower the tariffs that you
have on us? Hey, Europe, after seventy plus years of

(01:51:25):
all of the tariffs that you've hit us with, when
are you going to lower them a little bit so
you'll stop affecting us. We get this over and over
again about how the Democrats they are for the working people,
and yet they haven't shown that they're for the working people.
And of course they also try to take credit for

(01:51:46):
things that they did not actually do. Believe it not,
Hakeem Jeffries is now actually trying to take the credit
for securing the border. It wasn't Donald Trump, because for
four years under Joe Biden had absolute open borders, where
we've had millions of people not only coming over the border,

(01:52:07):
we send airplanes to go get them. Yes, we've actually
sent airplanes two places to pick up these illegals to
fly them into the country. And now all of a sudden,
Donald Trump is now seeing record low numbers in illegal
border crossings. And that wasn't him, that was us. That

(01:52:29):
was that was Democrats. We got that one for you.
You're welcome America. We if it wasn't for us, who
border never would have been secured. But you know, Donald
Trump's over there trying to take all the credit for it. Now,
that was that wasn't Donald Trump, that was us. And
the only reason for why they're doing that is because
it's one of the number one things that is on
the voter's minds. Even the Democrats are saying, hey, yeah, okay,

(01:52:51):
we can get into all this woke stuff in a minute,
But can you secure the border? And now they're trying
to take credit for actually doing it, and illegal crossings
that the southern US border have now declined significantly in
March as you look at some of the numbers, including

(01:53:13):
the Los Angeles Times as even reporting this that migrant
crossings have slowed to a near halt, not that they've reduced,
they've resulted to a near halt, like as in stopping.
The Los Angeles Times even reported that the impact is
a sharp reduction in illegal crossings, reaching ninety seven percent

(01:53:36):
decrease compared to March of twenty twenty two. A ninety
seven percent decrease that is huge. And even the LA
Times can't escape this. And what do we get again,
the Democrats coming out going, oh, we did it. It
was all us, wasn't Donald Trump. Donald Trump, he's just

(01:54:00):
trying to crush the economy, that's all he's trying to do.
He doesn't care about the American people.

Speaker 6 (01:54:03):
We do.

Speaker 7 (01:54:07):
But in the month of March, the number of unauthorized
crossings at the US Mexico border fell sharply, making the
significant decrease from the previous years. Under the administration of
President Trump, the US Border Patrol registered encounters with seven
eighty one migrants attempting to cross the US border unlawfully.
This marks a substantial drop compared to the March of

(01:54:28):
the preceding years under Joe Biden. And you know what happened.
This is a concept, Donald Trump, let law enforcement do
its job. I know you're just as shocked as I am.
Holy cow, we unleashed law enforcement on the border to

(01:54:51):
do their job. Didn't tie their hands up, didn't say
don't do this, don't beat PC. We said, go secure
the border. And we get a ninety seven percent decrease.
That is a huge success, folks. I'll imagine what it

(01:55:12):
would be like in a city like New York, where
if the mayor of New York and the governor of
New York, because the governor thinks half the time that
she runs the city, if they both came out and said, hey, NYPD,
go clean up the city. Hey, by the way, prosecutors

(01:55:34):
start throwing phil rikers up, let's go, let's fill it up.
Let's actually start disciplining these people. Let's go after the
people that are robbing stores. Let's make it so that
people are gonna think twice before they grab a trash
bag and empty the shelf at CVS. Let's make people
think twice before they decide to go down into the
subway and beat up grandma who's just going to the

(01:55:56):
grocery store to get something to make dinner for the
family tonight. Unleashed law enforcement to do their job, stop
tying their hands and let them be successful. Imagine where
the crime rate in New York City would be if
we would allow that. And it's not like you need
additional examples. I mean, look, Rudy Giuliani when he took

(01:56:17):
over as the mayor in New York City, he did
just that. He got the prosecutors to prosecute, he got
the NYPD to go after the people. They cleaned up
that city in no time flat because the bad people
realized we can't do this. This is exactly what we
did on the border. We unleashed the border patrol, let
them go do their things. And now we have historic

(01:56:38):
record numbers and not historic as in we're overusing the word.
But it is a ninety seven percent a decrease in
just no time flat. And again it's because Donald Trump
said this is what he's going to do. This is
what the American people said I want Donald Trump to
do and he did it. And even the Democrats realize

(01:57:00):
that they can't fight it. So instead of fighting it,
they're just they're they're taking the credit for it. They're
trying to build themselves up for next year. And the
Democrats even know that all the things that Donald Trump
is doing, well, not all the Democrats, because there's some
that are stupid, like AOC. They know that what Donald
Trump is doing is going to be set up for

(01:57:22):
success for a couple of years down the road, but
in the meantime, it's going to feel like it hurts
because you're not gonna see that instant gratification with the
results of jobs and businesses and and all of this
great success that Donald Trump is saying is coming because
we have to build it. You have to build it
before you get it. So the Democrats are going to
capitalize that over the next year so that they can

(01:57:44):
take the House. And then when they take the House
and all of Donald Trump's things that he has instituted
start taking effect, they're gonna go see, this is us.
We did it. You elected us to take over the
House in the Senate, and we did all this great
stuff and now look at the economy. Look at what
we did when all of that was Donald Trump's. That's
just like the job numbers for Joe Biden. Look at

(01:58:07):
the jobs. We created more jobs than any But no, no, no, no, no,
hold on, you didn't create that many jobs. As a
matter of fact, if it wasn't for the government jobs,
there would have been no jobs created in America because
the American jobs are actually on a decline except for
the jobs that were created under Donald Trump and then
had to get put on pause because of COVID, and

(01:58:30):
those jobs got reactivated, so there wasn't really new jobs.
It was reactivating jobs that were already created and filled
before they had to be paused for COVID. But under
Joe Biden, when you look at the private sector, not government,
private sector, private sector didn't do so well under Joe Biden,

(01:58:51):
but it did if you were in government. The government
grew so much. And again Democrats are trying to fight
Donald Trump and reducing the size of government. Our government
is so bloated it's unreal. But you watch, this is
how the Democrats are going to play this book. They
know the successes of Donald Trump, they know that those

(01:59:11):
jobs that were created under Joe Biden created were Donald Trump's.
It was a direct result of what Donald Trump did.
They would never give him credit for it. And now
they know that Donald Trump, what he is doing is
going to be something that's going to be successful. But
they're getting ahead of it, like you know, oh my god,
Donald Trump's destroying things. All you got to put us

(01:59:32):
in office knowing that they're not going to get away
with stopping a lot of this Donald Trump stuff and
it's going to go into effect and it'll be a
success and then they can come in dirt. We're here
with our donkey h We saved the days for you,
bunch of dirt bags. I swear to god. I so
over politicians are really we got to take a quick break.
We'll be right back. This is the Brian Rush Show.

Speaker 1 (01:59:53):
Good morning, Good morning America. Want to see a progressive squirm.
Turn the Brian Rush Show up a little louder and
watch them now back to the show on news talk

(02:00:16):
head one on one.

Speaker 7 (02:00:17):
All right, welcome back to the show. Good morning. Hey,
check this concept out. Are you ready? Instead of doing all.

Speaker 8 (02:00:23):
Woke with the military, making sure that you know we
have tampons for the boys and appropriate dressing facilities for
those who don't want to be that way and do
all this other woke stuff with the military.

Speaker 7 (02:00:36):
And if we actually did this focus on field readiness
and unleash the commanders to actually do what they need
to do. Yeah, this is one of the things that
the Army is doing. The Army's now slashing some of
the mandatory training and shift's focused to field readiness and

(02:00:57):
commander discretion in a sweepy move to prioritize the battlefield
readiness and reduce administrative burden. Which is what we've seen
with our military. They've they've gotten more to the point
where it's all this administrative stuff. The US Army is
set lashing a significant portion of its mandatory training curriculum,
a decision that removes or makes an optional key course

(02:01:20):
such as combat life saving law on a Law of
War education and resilience training. And under the new regulation,
commanders will now have the authority to determine which courses
their units truly need. Imagine that getting HR out of
the actual readiness of our military brilliant idea. That a

(02:01:44):
brilliant idea. I worked for a company one time where
we had the HR training they would send things to
us that I just looked at and go, what does
this even have to do with the job that we're doing.
While it's a mandatory, required training and unique to do
it for what? Because it makes us liberals feel better

(02:02:06):
when we have power and control over you. But is
it going to help my people be able to do
the job?

Speaker 3 (02:02:13):
No?

Speaker 7 (02:02:14):
Not really, But we feel better making you do these
because we're hr and you got to do it. Under
the new regulations, commanders, again, they do have now the
authority to determine which courses their units truly actually need.
A shift army leaders say will allow soldiers to spend
more time on tough, realistic field training. Again, imagine that concept,

(02:02:41):
training our soldiers for realistic situations instead of hypothetical. When
I was in college, my professor made me read this
book Theory. One of the things that was said by
Command Sergeant Major Chris Malaxa Mallennacs I probably said that

(02:03:01):
all wrong, which is the Army's top enlisted leader for operations,
planning and training, said that what our Army senior leaders
are trying to do is make sure that they have
as much time available so they can focus on those
things there's no distractions, no burdens of our war fighters
are focused on war fighting, and that's absolutely tough, realistic

(02:03:23):
training in the field. The changes reflect a broader transformation
under Army Chief Staff General Randy George, who directed the
cuts to reduce administrative burdens and return control to unit
level commanders. And now the Army which mandates just sixteen
annual training courses per soldier, down from the twenty seven.

(02:03:46):
The list of operational training now includes significance programs once
considered vitals, such as Combat Life Saving certification, you know,
to be able to save somebody when they get hurt,
the Law of Education, a law of war education, Code
of Conduct, training for captured personnel, online survival, evasion, resistance

(02:04:07):
and escape training, Chemical biological, radiological and nuclear training, safety
and occupational health courses, and resiliency training. We are already
seeing such a huge impact with our defense system. And
what's amazing about this? You ready for this? This is
going to be a shocker to everybody. So hold your

(02:04:28):
coffee cup tight. The highly unqualified Secretary of Defense is
making our military better. Isn't that amazing? Isn't an amazing

(02:04:49):
that our highly unqualified secretary of Defense is boosting morale,
that our highly unqualified secretary of Defense is making it
so that our military focuses on you know, military, that
our highly unqualified the what is thee again, Secretary of Defense? Sorry,

(02:05:16):
I had a brain fart all of a sudden, it
now has recruiting numbers higher than they've been in a
very long time. People want to join the military. Now
you watch this, Now that the news is coming out
that all these changes that our highly unqualified secretary of
Defense is implementing into the military, you watch more and

(02:05:39):
more people who want to be in the military and
not in some woke zone where we're going off and
learning about transgender stuff and you know, equality and diversity
and equity and everything else in the military. But we're
actually going to train you to be a warrior, to
be a soldier, to get out there and do the
things that you wanted to do in the military, and

(02:06:00):
not go in there and go, Okay, well, which outfits
do we get to wear and which way do I
address somebody? You want? How strong are the US military
is going to become in the coming months as we
focus on what we're supposed to be focusing on and
not all of this woke crap. We will be feared again.

(02:06:25):
I mean we kind of are already because people have
no idea what the hell Donald Trump is going to do.
So there are nations that are worried. But when you
have things like the houthies, look the hoothies. They're looking
at America's military, they're watching the news. What is it
that the America's military is more concerned about? Can I

(02:06:45):
wear this dress in combat? Because this looks so good?
Look how good my legs look? Oh that's scary. No,
you see that the US military is letting a dude
wear a dress. Oh my god, we're so scary to them. Hey,
throw something else at him, throw another rocket at him.

(02:07:05):
It'll be a completely different story when you find out
that our fighting force, they're somebody you don't want to
mess with because they are prepared, they're educated, ready to go,
and the most badass military on the planet. Lloyd Austin
couldn't get down to do a push up. You have

(02:07:26):
Pete Hegseth getting out there and doing full on PT
training constantly with these people. This is how it works.
This is what real leadership is. And we've got to
make sure that we put the Democrats in their place
and let them know all right, we got to go.
Brian Kill Me Show is on the way next again.
