Speaker 2 (00:11):
Limb up the airways in this.

Way, crushing the progressive dream one show at a time,
held a snow.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Now, here's Brian ruston you was talking one oh one.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Good morning, Happy Taco Tuesday. Welcome to the show. Thanks
so much for waking up with us today. Where do
we start. There's so much to go over today. Let's
start here. I just want to say, it's over. Let
it go. It's over, Let it go. It was a

(01:25):
nice try, but it was an epic failure. And what
the hell am I talking about? Stephen Colbert? As we
continue to see the idiots on the left that get
out there and try and tell us about how Oh.

Speaker 6 (01:38):
My god, it's the worst thing in the world that
our First Amendment rights they're being trampled on by Donald
Trump because he's being the fastest tyrant that he is,
and he's taking away Stephen Colbert.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
And it only just starts there, and it goes from there,
and all of Hollywood's going to be in jail before long.
CBS has come out and talked about this. They've said
that this is purely a financial decision. It had nothing
to do with First Amended rights, didn't have much to

(02:12):
do with Stephen Colbert in his political ranting and raving,
even though it did just not in the way that
the left keeps trying to holler at us that it is.
It's because of the fact that he alienated fifty percent
of the country who did not want to watch any
of that stuff. They didn't they were sick and tired
of it. They didn't want it anymore. The show was

(02:35):
hemorrhaging forty to fifty million dollars a year. They just
simply didn't want to deal with it anymore. And yet
we hear it over and over again from the left
about how Stephen Colbert the most genius comedian ever and

(02:56):
all this other stuff that we hear over and over again,
and then they decide they're gonna protest. Did you guys
see the protest? This was the most Look, all I
gotta say is this, if if I was in Stephen
Colbert's position, worth one hundred million dollars at this point,

(03:20):
and they came to me and said, hey, look, we're
gonna cancel your show in a year because of whatever
the reason may be. I mean, I'm sure that they
actually told him that, Look, your ratings sunck, your advertising
is not coming in good and you're costing us forty
million dollars a year every year. We got to let
you go. Because Look, I've been fired from some of

(03:43):
my broadcasting jobs, and it has never been one of
those things where they come in and they just give Well,
I can't say never, because there's been a couple of
times where it's been a complete BS reason. But usually
it would be look, listen, here's the thing. Advertising's down,
or it would be we're changing formats, or there'd be
a legitimate excuse of some sort. By the way, you've

(04:04):
never really truly worked in broadcasting if you haven't been fired.
I'm just I'm gonna put that out there you've never
really truly worked unless you've been fired. So over the weekend,
a bunch of New Yorkers rose to the occasion to
be like, oh my god, we must protest. Then if
we protest, then we're gonna we're gonna show everybody that
the Orange man, the hitler, the fascist, the dictator who's

(04:28):
trying to crush our democracy and crush our our constitutional
right for free speech. We're gonna get out there. Who's
with me?

Speaker 7 (04:39):
One two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen,
I'm almost there, seventeen eighteen, nineteen.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Twenty, anybody else? Anybody any Come on, you guys, we've
got to stand up for Stephen Colbert. All right, Well,
all twenty of us will go out and we'll protest. Literally,
they had like twenty something people that showed up to
protest the whole Stephen Colbert thing. Look again, if I

(05:17):
was in stupid Stephen Colbert's position and again worth a
one hundred million dollars and CBS came in and fired me.
And you know, obviously I want to keep my job.
I want everything to continue flowing. And I have twenty
people show up outside of CBS to protest. I would
I would probably actually call CBS and say, hey, listen

(05:41):
about this thing about going till May. Can we just
can we end it now? And I would end it now,
tuck my tail between my legs, and go live a
fantastic rest of my life because at my age, at
fifty two years old, if I had one hundred million dollars,
I would be fine for the rest of my life
with no problems, no questions whatsoever. I can just go

(06:05):
live it off somewhere. But when only twenty people show
up to defend you, that is your sign, ladies and gentlemen,
it is over. Let it go. Stephen Colbert's show is done,
moving on. But again, only twenty people showing up. That's
just absolutely pathetic. It really truly is. But you know what,
here's something else though, because the left there they're so

(06:27):
self centered, like they think that the entire world revolves
strictly around them. And obviously you got the things with
a lot of the Hollywood people who who always think
that the world revolves around them. But then we've got
the I think I'm actually somebody. Jasmine Crockett, this woman is,

(06:47):
she's something else, and every time that you think that
you have seen enough from Jasmine Crockett, she's like, hey,
hold on a second, hold my phizzy bear, let me
show you this. She is upset right now and she
thinks that she deserves the top spot in the Oversight Committee.
And the reason why are you ready for this? It's

(07:09):
because of her large following on social media. I'm not
kidding you, this nit wit from Texas, which Texas, Please
do better next time. Seriously, you're a great state. But this,
that's that can't be the best that you got, even
on the Democrat side. You got to do better. But
she revealed to The Atlantic in a recent profile that

(07:31):
she did that she deserved the top Democrat spot on
the House Overside Committee due to her large following account
on social media, and of course, earlier this year she
began kind of pushing for that spot ever since Jerry
Connolly vacated that spot when he was battling his cancer.
And she's wants it. She wants the spot, and she

(07:54):
and to her, the race has really become a small
scale version of the Democrat part parties bigger predicament, which
is that her colleagues still haven't learned what to her
is obvious and that the Democrats need sharper, fiercer communication.
She said, it's like there's no one there. It's like

(08:15):
there's one clear person in the race that has the
largest social media following me.

Speaker 8 (08:22):
Me.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
By the way, Crockett, just to let you know how
full of herself she is. She has a photo of
herself on her cell phone for her lock screen. Now pause,
time out a second, because I know that somebody on
the left is gonna say, yeah, but what about Donald Trump.
Donald Trump is full of himself too, He really is.
And I think that anybody who is a supporter of

(08:45):
Donald Trump, fan of Donald Trump, you have to admit that, Yes,
Donald Trump is full of himself. It's just part of
who Donald Trump is. We knew that when we first
elected him, so it's not a surprise to us. But
the difference is is that Donald Trump is a super
intelligent and he's also gotten some things done. Jasmine Crockett,
on the other hand, yeah, not so much. But she

(09:08):
she originally pitched herself, you know, in a big meeting
with Democrats as the person who should do it, and
she highlighted her own emphasis on social media and the
hundreds of thousands of views that she has received on
recent her recent YouTube video, and the base is thirsty.
The base right now is very happy with us, she said.

(09:29):
And she continued on and if any lawmaker could make
them feel heard, it's me. Here's the thing, Jasmine, Yes,
you do have a pretty good size following on social media.
I follow you on social media. I don't follow you
on social media because I believe in you. I don't
follow you on social media because I think you're the

(09:51):
best potential person in Congress. I follow you on social
media for the entertainment of what stupid thing is going
to roll out of her mouth today. And there's a
lot of people that follow Jasmine Crockett for that exact
same reason. Yes, a lot of people watched the videos,
and a lot of people shared your YouTube video. But

(10:11):
the thing is, we shared it among ourselves, said hey,
you check out what this idiot did. Now. But for
you to go off and think, oh, I've got a
large social media following, so therefore I'm the most qualified
person around and I should be the one you No,
I don't think so, not to mention, we got this
other problem with more of the left, these people there,

(10:34):
it just never stops with the left. It really doesn't.
There's a French prosecutor now that is out ruling that
social media platform X is actually an organized crime group. Sweet,
this is great because I'm on X all the time
and now I guess does this make me part of

(10:54):
the family. Listen, you can't be part of the family
if you're not on EX. Do you you got your
X profile?

Speaker 2 (11:07):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (11:07):
Look it over e we got our EX profile. So
what does this mean we in the group? We in
the family? Now, come on, it's too funny. So the
latest assault on some of the freedom that we're getting.
And it's not just us, I mean it's it's really
more over there in Europe in the UK than anything.
And this is the latest thing with social media because

(11:29):
remember there's been a lot of things over there in
the UK where if you make a post that somebody
deems to be hate speech, they will knock on your
door and they will arrest you. There are people actually
spending time in jail because of a social media post.
There goes my trip to the UK. I don't think

(11:51):
I could ever go to the UK at this point.
And that's sad because I'd love to go to Scotland.
But I guess I'm gonna have to hold off on
that one. But now in France, it's one of these
prosecutors is actually saying and believe or not, we had
to find this out from the state department that he
was doing this, but as part of a criminal investigation
an activist. French prosecutors requesting information on X's proprietory algorithm

(12:14):
and has classified X as an organized crime group. And
Democrat governments should allow all voices to be heard, not
silence speech they dislike. The United States will defend the
free speech of all Americans against acts of foreign censorship. Really,
X is a is a crime group, an organized crime group.

(12:39):
What about blue Sky? Has anybody logged into blue Sky?
Has anybody checked that out? Go ahead and go into
blue Sky and set up an account and go in
there and say something, Oh like I don't know Trump
was right. See what happens. Let's think about this, X
finally gets purchased. Well, Twitter, now X the platform only

(13:00):
know this Twitter, and before it was censored like crazy,
if you said anything that hurts somebody's feelings on the left,
then your account would be suspended, you would be blocked.
I mean, now you could say just about anything on
X and it's fine, but it's an organized crime group.

(13:21):
That's a good one. That's a good one. I guess
this is another way that people can be arrested now
for making a post on X that a French prosecutor
would deem, you know, part of the organized crime and
then they could hit you up with what some organized
crime charges or something because you're part of the family.
This is how ridiculous the left is getting it. Every
time you turn around, it's just one more thing that

(13:44):
the Left hits you with this ridiculousness. And of course
they're the ones who are also telling you that you
know that Donald Trump is hitler, that Donald Trump is
a fascist, that Maga is a cult. And this is
what you get from the left. Blue Sky vodka, that's
probably the only good blue sky, well, not the only

(14:06):
blue sky. If you're up flying an airplane, blue Sky
is good. Not the vodka. When you're flying the airplane,
that's bad. You don't you want to avoid that anyhow,
We're gonna take a quick break. We'll be right back.
Happy Taco Tuesday, and good morning, Thanks so much for
wake it up with us today.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
If you're looking for candy coated and Brian is not
the Willy Wonka you're looking for. It's the Brian Rush
Show on News Talk at one oh one.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
All right, welcome back to the show. Good morning, Get
Happy Taco Tuesday. Like the shirt today for those that
are watching on Rumble and on Wimken, it's the Burrito Bendito.
And actually a little bit further down, the El Squatcho
friend of mine got me this shirt, left you film
me at work the other day. I had to wear
it today in his honor. It's a matter of fat.

(14:56):
We need a screenshot of that. Y all right, Sorry,
I've got to tell I gotta admit right now, I
am a little on the giddy side this morning because
for some god forshaken reason, I woke up at like
I was actually up about two forty five this morning,
and I couldn't figure out what to do. I couldn't sleep,
couldn't do anything. So I was like, let's make some biscuits.

(15:17):
So I was actually making biscuits this morning at three
o'clock this morning. They were delicious, by the way. Anyhow,
welcome back to their show. We got a lot to
talk about coming up, and talk about the tax holiday
here in the state of Florida. Rone Santons was in
town yesterday. I got to see him for a few
minutes and also good to hang out in the press corps.
Yes it's your day, which I don't know if anybody

(15:39):
saw the photo that I posted on Facebook. I put
a photo up yesterday on Facebook because I was just
doing like I literally was just like making fun of
the fact that I was sitting there with the press
corps in the back of the room and I did
that and the girl reporter from WMBB was standing like
right next to me, and look, I'm not gonna be

(16:03):
She was cute. She was very cute, and a few
other people commented that on the photo. But I took
the photo with like a goofy face and the way
she turned around and looked, and it's like, I just
want to clarify something. I was not trying to sneak
a selfie with you. I really wasn't. If I wanted to,
I would have asked, but that's not what I was doing.
I was taking a photo. But she snapped a look

(16:23):
at me like like what are you doing, you creep?
Like no, I'm just I'm taking a relaxed TV girl. Relax. Anyhow,
we're gonna talk about that coming up just a little bit,
the whole tax holiday thing. Plus I want to talk
about the Manhattan shooting that went down yesterday, and of
course the left's reaction and response to it is a

(16:45):
bottle as typical as you can get, all the way
down to CNN even calling the shooter white. And if
you haven't seen the shooter, he is anything but a
white guy. And yet here we are would see then,
uh dropping those bombs. And here's another one that's coming
from the the wacky word all lefts. The Simpsons creator

(17:07):
Matt Groening. Uh he now has a new thing that
he is out talking about how he's predicting that kids
across America will liberate their Republican parents from the cult
of Maga. Where have we heard this line again?

Speaker 8 (17:25):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (17:27):
Oh yeah, that's right in the the Marxist playbook, The
Marxist playbook where you divide the where you divide the family,
and and you you make it so that the kids,
you know, they don't like the parents. So that isn't
that kind of the same thing, I think, So hang

(17:48):
on a second. I'm trying to you know, I used
to be really good at being on the type and
and talk at the same time. But I can't do
it anymore. All right, So the Simpsons creator is out
there now talking about how the kids across America will
liberate their Republican parents from the cult of Mega And
here's how you do it. You ready, grab the TV remote,

(18:11):
go to menu, go to controls, vertical controls, look for
channel list, and delete Fox News. Yeah, that is what
Matt Groening. Wait a second, Wait a second, it's the
Fox network that actually allowed this guy to really get

(18:33):
his big fame and all of his money. But this
is such a typical leftist thing about how you know,
first off, you got to call Maga a cult, which
it's not. It's not a cult whatsoever. We don't follow
the cult leader blindly. And for you to sit here
and really think, first of if I had kids, which
I don't, but I would be a little bit of

(18:54):
a disciplinarian, and it would start off like this. If
I came in there and my kid grab the remote
to the TV and went through and deleted the news
channel that I wanted to, there's a good chance that
the kid may not be able to sit down for
at least three or four hours, and there would be

(19:15):
one hell of a welt across the top of their
hand where they got smacked with the remote in there.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
And then I.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
Kind of disciplined them a little bit and I beat
the child. Oh my god, I can't believe that you
would say you would do that to your child. You
would be no, I would be the parent of discipline
them and say, you're living under my house, watching my TV,
using my Internet, and you're gonna come in here and
tell me what things I can and cannot watch. Oh
hell no. But again, this is the thing too that

(19:43):
the idiot left always does. They blame Fox News. It's
all fox News's fault. Really, why is it that Fox News?
And I'm just gonna ask this question, gonna throw it
out here for a second. Why is it that Fox
News is the number one news source right now in
the country. Number one, not number one with Republicans. It

(20:05):
is number one because Democrats, Independence, and Republicans all watch
Fox News. So if Fox News is so bad, why
do Democrats watch it? Why do independence watch it? Why
do people who don't like Donald Trump watch it? If

(20:26):
there's anything that there was a cult in this country,
it is Hollywood. Hollywood is a cult. It's the cult
of stupid, but it's still a cult. They can never
come up with an answer to anything. Instead, they're just like,
hang on a second, what's today's script? Donald Trump? Orange Man,
scary bad Maga is a cult. We must stand up

(20:49):
and fight. Did I get the line right? Can we
retake that?

Speaker 2 (20:52):
Was the lighting? Good?

Speaker 3 (20:53):
Was everything good? How's my makeup? A bunch of idiots?
They really truly are? All right? We gotta take a
break for news.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
It back.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
Doing our part to save America. The Brian rust Joe
is on news Talk at one oh one.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
All right, welcome back to the show, Happy Taco Tuesday.
Thanks for waking up with us today. Tragedy definitely struck
yesterday in Midtown Manhattan, and we saw a lot of
this unfold on TV last night. As a gunman, a
lone gunman literally walks through the city of New York
with a long gun nobody thought it do anything, entered

(21:44):
the office building and shot several people and then including
himself in the end, killing a New York City Police
officer in the act as well. That officer, by the way,
there was a woman officer who was off duty at
the time, who was doing security detail at this particular

(22:04):
building when she was shot. She was the first one
that was shot, as this individual had walked into the building.
And again, as I always do when it comes to
these mass shootings, I'm not going to talk about the
name of the individual. I know he's been identified. I
don't care. I'm not going to say his name. I
will never say his name. But the thing that's kind
of disturbing about this is once again the left coming out.

(22:25):
He came Jefferies. He comes out with a statement, and
it starts out pretty good. The murder of the brave
New York City police officer and several innocent civilians is
tragic and horrifying. We mourn their loss and stand with
their families during this time of need. Our prayers and
gratitude are also with those heroic law enforcement officers and
first responders who put their lives on the line and

(22:46):
selfishly rushed to the scene to save others. Great statement.
Leave it at that, Timu, but no mass shootings are
a plague. The gun violence epidemic continues to afflict our
country and now has shattered lives in our great city.
The time has come for decisive action. No, listen, you
and your damn gun control. First off, when you're gonna

(23:09):
go out and offer your condolences to people who's just
lost their lives, family members that are grieving, that are
still waiting, because when did he? When does he? This
is like eight hours ago, so in the middle of
the night last night, as things were still developing and
still trying to figure everything out, the scene is still
locked down and secure. This jackass comes out and he

(23:33):
gives his letter of condolence, which is great. I think
that was beautiful and he should have done it was
very well done. But leave it at that, because the
last thing that I think any of us want to
hear when one of our loved ones has been taken
from us in a violent way is your political bs.

(23:55):
And we know it's not the gun. It's not a
matter of the gun. And we know that because two
days ago we had a guy walk through Walmart stabbing people.
So does this mean that we need to go to
the way of the UK and take away knives as well?
Or maybe do you think politicians and I'm saying politicians

(24:16):
because this goes across the board of both Democrat and Republican.
Then rather than getting out here and giving us this
BS line about gun control and how we have to
we had to take care of this epidemic and blah
blah blah. Then maybe we should address the actual root
cause to some of these things. Number One, we know
that the root cause to most of these people that

(24:38):
do these these mass injuries, which we had to say
mass injuries because again they're not always guns. Just a
couple of days ago, it was a knife. A few
weeks before that, we had the cars. Anybody who's out
there that wants to do this violence against people, they
have mental health issues. That's where this has got to start.

(25:00):
We have got to start looking at mental health. It's
not a normal thing for you to say I'm going
to grab a weapon, I am going to take my car,
and I am going to go and kill as many
people as I can. There's something wrong with you upstairs

(25:21):
if you think that that is the appropriate action to
solve anything. And our politicians continually tried to go down
the road of guns. We gotta, we gotta, we gotta
take the guns. It's not about that. It's not about
an ineminent object. It is about the individual. And in

(25:45):
addition to the mental health aspect. Here's another thing that
needs to be addressed. Hatred, because there's nothing that sets
off somebody with the mental health issue more than the
level of hatred. And where do we see this level
of hatred. Where do we see all of this this
brewing of getting ready to do more violence. It's all

(26:07):
coming from the left. When you get out there and
you start saying that fifty percent or more of the
country is crazy, they're fascist. They're wanting to take away
your food, and they want to starve your children, and
they want your children to die, and they want grandma
and grandpa to die, and they don't want them to
have their health care, and they hate immigrants and they

(26:27):
should be locked up, but they're going to feed them
to the alligators in Florida. And they hate you, hate you,
hate you, hate you. What do you think then starts
saying to the voices inside people's heads, and do you
think that any of these jackass politicians actually take one
second and say, geez, I wonder if we're part of
the problem, or if anybody else actually has the cojones

(26:51):
to stand up to some of these politicians and say, hey,
excuse me, you're part of this problem. Now, to be
perfectly honest with you, I am very surprised. I'm thankful that,
but I'm also very surprised that we have not seen
an extreme amount of violence, like serious violence towards anybody

(27:15):
on the right and too maga situations. I am really
truly surprised that we have not seen that yet. And
I'm gonna have to say yes, because you know, it's
only a matter of time. It's only a matter of
time before one of these people with mental health issues
snaps and realizes that, oh my god, Donald Trump, he's

(27:35):
got to be taken out because he's a fascist, he's
a tyrant, he's a dictator, he's taking away all of
our rights. And then when you get the media like CNN, Now, look,
what are the things that I don't like to talk
about when it comes to a lot of these these

(27:56):
breaking news mass situations like a mass shooting or or
you know, a plane crash or something along that line,
or something big that happens, is you don't know what's
going on yet, they're still investigating. Sure they know who
the person is. Sure at this point they've they've been
probably spending the night coming through the individual social media.

(28:16):
Sure they've already probably raided the guy's house in Las
Vegas where he was from. They've probably already figured out
what hotel room he was staying at. They've already probably
gone through that. They've been going through all of this stuff. Yes,
we know that. Have they made a conclusion yet?

Speaker 8 (28:30):
No?

Speaker 3 (28:31):
And yet the media gets out there and they start
jumping into things right away. And this is one of
the reasons why I try not to talk about it.
But CNN comes out right away and they started calling
the shooter or a white guy. The guy was pretty
damn black. I mean, any darker and he would probably
be Jamaican black. I don't know how you convince yourself that. Hey,

(28:56):
let's let's see the video. Where's the where we got
the video? Okay, roll the video there of the shooter
walking across the Oh yeah, he's a white guy. Right, well,
he must be a white guy because he's got a gun.
I mean, how racist is that? What do you think
only white people can have guns? I mean, look at
the video, it's clearly a black guy. But CNN comes

(29:20):
out in there they're breaking news that a white man
has shot up the place, not even knowing And of
course this just stirs up more stuff, and again with
all of this hatred that we see from the left,
and they don't think anything through. And it's sad to
watch that because right out we have five people that
are dead, and they're instead they're playing politics. They're totally

(29:45):
playing politics with this. Senator John Kennedy one of my
favorites when it comes to asking him a question. He
was on Hannity last night and Hannity had said that
we have five dead and that we've confirmed at this point,
and we hope that the toll stays where it is
and doesn't climb. We're sorry for the prayers with the families,
the lost of loved ones. Is there anything that we're

(30:09):
gleaning from the information that we have so far, We
will let you well, we'll let We'll know a lot more,
probably within an hour. And Kennedy comes on and says,
all you can do at a time like this is
be sorry. And I am sorry. I am sorry for
civilians who were killed or injured. I do not know
why bad things happen to good people. I don't if

(30:32):
I mean it make it to heaven, I'm going to ask.
I'm sorry for the police officers who were killed or injured.
I'm also thankful for those who ran into the danger
and away from it, and I'm grateful for them. And
I'm sorry for the people in New York. This is
going to cause them to have to live in further fear.
And then he adds on saying on Capitol Hill, probably

(30:53):
beginning in the morning, there will be an inevitable call
for some of my colleagues for more gun control laws.
We've got one hundred of gun control laws. We don't
need more gun control. We need more idiot control. And
that is so true. We need more idiot control. And
you know, here's the thing too, when when you start

(31:14):
diving into all of these mass shooters, and I'm talking
about beyond just the initial Hey, we did the investigation
and everything, and this is what's going on, You really
look into the individual. Most of the time, there are
plenty of signs that show that this is a bad person,

(31:34):
or that this person's about to do something bad, or
there's a lot of things that are going on right
now with this person. And we have gotten to a
point in society now where we have shamed the idea
of speaking up. We may say it to one another.
Bob Bob looks a little Have you seen Bob lately?
Bob looks a little crazy. Yeah, Bob's not doing too

(31:55):
well over there. Yeah, I don't know what's going on
with Bob. Next time, you know, Bob goes and shoots
up a grocery store and everybody stands up later on going, well,
you know, Bob just didn't really seem to be the same.
I mean, it kind of shocks me that this would be.
But we've gotten to a point where we're too afraid
to stand up. We're too afraid to come out and
go hey, yeah, uh, hi, nine one, Yeah, I got

(32:19):
this neighbor kid, uh and man, he's been doing some
really strange things. But then the problem is when you
do call the police. The police departments in most of
the country, not all over, but most of the country,
they get their hands tied because it's not appropriate for
the police to go and see somebody who may be

(32:42):
a little bit disturbed and is showing some signs that
they're about to do something, because how dare you, how
dare you go off and say something like that about them.
You're judging them too soon and you shouldn't do that.
So the left as they hands up the police to
be able to do things. And then you've got this

(33:04):
idiot zorn Mama Donnie, the guy that is running for
the mayor's seat, the one who just went off and
had a private wedding with masked security and cell phone
jammers and everything else. It's like, what is that all about.
He's now come out and he's made a statement, and
he said that I'm heartbroken to learn of the horrific

(33:25):
shooting in Midtown and I am holding the victims, their
families and the NYPD officer in critical condition in my thoughts,
grateful for all of our first responders on the ground,
and of course, as we know, the NYPD officer did
die in the shooting. But this comes with a lot
of interesting points. After he did that. In the replies,

(33:47):
people Ley quickly started sharing images from back in June
of twenty twenty in a post where Mamma Donnie said, no,
we want to defund the police. And on November of
twenty twenty, there is a post where he said queer
liberation means defund the police. We don't need an investigation

(34:08):
to know that the NYPD is racist, anti queer, a
major threat to public safety. What we need is to
defund NYPD. But your deal with New York City mayor
uses budget tricks to keep as many comps as possible
on the beat. No to fake cuts. Defund the police, boy,

(34:30):
that's going to backfire on him. You know, if we
had more police in places like New York City, maybe
they would be able to fight crime a little bit.
Maybe also if they would stop with this stupid ideology
that they have of making sure that you take care
of the offender more than you do the victim, then

(34:50):
maybe things would change a little bit in places like
New York where when you do have a guy that
is walking the streets with a long arm rifle, which
not something that's easy to conceal, that maybe if you
had enough police they could stop that. But it's the
leftist ideology that keeps causing all of these problems. It's

(35:12):
not an inanimate object. It's your dumb policies that does it.
We got to take a quick break. We'll be right back.
This is the Brian Rush Show. Good morning and Happy
Taco Tuesday.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
Don't be afraid to say it, knock it off. Back
to the Brian Rust Show on News Talk one.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
Old All right, Welcome back to the show, Happy Taco Tuesday.
Thanks for waking up with us today. So yesterday Rona
Sampsus was in town making an announcement about the tax holiday.
And again for the record, yeah, here's a I may
have stirred some stuff. The selfie that I took while
I was in the in the the the gaggle with
the media. Yeah, yesterday the girl from WMBB, which I

(36:03):
believe her name is Riley. It seems pretty sweet and all.
I just if anybody knows Riley or you work at MVB,
because she looked over at me like what are you doing?
Like thinking that I was like trying to sneak a
selfie with her. I really wasn't. She's just cute, no
doubt about that wasn't what I was trying to do.
I was. She just hadn't have been in front of everything,

(36:25):
and it's one of those moments. However, I will give
her this credit though. The look that she snapped at
me was it was pretty funny. But either way, yesterday
Rodness Answers was in town and he was talking about
the new tax free holiday. And we know that this
is one of these things that always comes up at
this time of the year because we're getting ready to
go back to school. However, this time it's permanent. It's

(36:47):
Rodne Sanders is promoting the new permanent sales tax holiday
which we now have in August for his school supplies.
And he told us that do you have now until
the end of the month starting on Friday, so August first,
until the end of the month where you can go
and you know, get your back to school supplies, which
I know the Left is going to throw a fit
on this, but we'll get to it in a second.

(37:08):
But you can get your supplies for it and at
the end up being tax free on a lot of things.
Some of this includes school supplies under fifty dollars, clothing,
footwear and other repairl that are less than one hundred dollars,
learning aids for thirty dollars or less, and personal computers
and certain accessories that cost fifteen hundred dollars or less.

(37:31):
According to what the governor was telling us yesterday, So
as we get ready to send the kids back to school,
it always is a thing that helps out. So we
get the so we get the tax break on this,
but there's more to it than just that, and Rodne
Santis did say that you're talking about families that got
to buy a computer, and they got to buy some

(37:51):
of these things, and that's significant savings that they will
see with the tax holiday, and it's great. But other
tax holiday savings that are also going on there was
approved by lawmakers this year cover such items as firearms
and ammunition, which I know that the Left is going
to be like, oh my god, I can't believe that
you would include firearms and ammunition and a back to

(38:13):
school sale. Now I understand there's probably a joke in there.
It's a sick, twisted, dark humored joke. Let that go
for just a second. But also hurricane preparedness stuff, because
first off, if you're new to Florida, welcome, but we
are now in the middle of the hurricane season, even
though we haven't had anything and knock on some wood,

(38:35):
you should be prepared already. I'm just saying. And if
you haven't already gotten your preparation list, make sure you
get that because it is very important that you were
prepared for the hurricane season so you don't have any problems.
But Dessand has also talked about the business rent sales tax,
which is something that we were the very last state
in the country to still actually have this. And basically

(38:58):
what that tax is is if you you're renting an office,
renting a storefront, or something along that lines, you actually
had to pay taxes on that rent. So it's part
of this thing with with kind of detaxing this country.
And I don't know if anybody's really truly noticed of
how much we are we are reducing our taxes, but

(39:22):
this is fantastic and and of course we are so
taxed to death, it's ridiculous. But that was one of
the other things that Ron DeSantis did bring up in
this is that the repeal of the business rent tax.
Obviously the sales tax holiday for firearms and ammunition, which
will probably do really well for the gun stores here.
Even the governor kind of made a joke about it
yesterday saying that you know, you're welcome to Georgia and

(39:44):
Alabama because they'll be able to come in and save
a little bit of money on their their firearms and ammunition.
But also the hurricane preparedness, which look, we need to
be prepared for hurricane stuff. If you have not done
that yet, do it. What's the condoms condoms not be
a school supply. I'm just I'm throwing that out there.
I mean, look, we've seen some of the scanners, which

(40:06):
can I can I mention this because I'm gonna go
down the road of scandal, Oh squirrel, the the hot
teacher with student scandal, And I'm gonna be a dude
for a second on this. Where were those teachers when
I was in school? I mean, look, when I was
in school, there was well, actually I shouldn't say there

(40:28):
was not any. I think there was a couple, but
for the most part, there was absolutely no teacher that
I had that I would even want to even like
want to think about them in a bathing suit, let alone.
But today I'm just saying, I'm just throwing that out there,

(40:49):
if you know, you know. But anyhow, what was that
SUBSMI sid something about my phone. Yeah, I'm sort of
over my phone deal, sort of kind of sort of
still dealing with a little bit of that drama. But yeah,
you know cell phones. By the way, No, I'm not
even gonna get into that right now, just it's gonna

(41:11):
get me going into a into an argument that I
don't want to start doing with myself. I have to
switch over because I have my loner phone right now
that a good friend of mine, you know, is letting
me use one of the members of the team, and
it's a great phone, but I got to switch back
over to my replacement phone before I can get my

(41:31):
upgraded phone, considering I've already gone through a couple of
days of absolute nightmare dealing with all of that. And
then you got to get your authenticator, and if the
authenticator doesn't work, and you have to have the authenticator
to authenticate the authenticator to be a authenticate any accounts,
which you can't do without the I don't know who
thought this was a brilliant idea, but it really truly isn't.
It's not a brilliant at all. And then apps, this

(41:53):
is the other thing. You forget how many apps you
actually use on your phone until you had to place
your phone. Like I got home the other day and
I had to unload a bunch of stuff out of
my truck, and I popped open the app to open
up the garage door because my house is way too technical,
and I looked at him, like, oh, I don't have
the app on this, so I had to do this.

(42:14):
The old school way sort of. I walked up to
my front door to punch in my code for the
computer to unlock the door, and then I had to
walk through my house, go into the garage, go up
to the wall and hit the button to open up
the garage door.

Speaker 2 (42:29):
Who does that?

Speaker 3 (42:30):
Nowadays? We are so spoiled with technology. It's ridiculous, it
really truly is. However, I will make this suggestion, if
your phone is doing good right now, write down all
of the apps that you have on your phone that
you use all the time. Because when n it gets
time to replace a phone or upgrade a phone and
you can't remember what apps you've got, that's a tough

(42:50):
thing to deal with, it really is. We got to
take a break for news coming up here at the
top of the hour. We will be right back. This
is the Brian Rust Show, Good Morning.

Speaker 1 (43:01):
Now, broadcasting from the shores of the world's most beautiful beaches.

Speaker 3 (43:05):
Brian Rust's name, you know the brand. You found the
Brian Rush Show.

Speaker 2 (43:11):
Line up the airways in this.

Speaker 1 (43:14):
Way, crushing the progressive dream, one show at a time,
Melt the snow.

Speaker 4 (43:18):
Face with the fiery head, talking truth. You can't always stand.

Speaker 2 (43:29):
Fast. Show from coast to coast. Got the facts, but
it ain't no boast.

Speaker 5 (43:35):
Can't jam on the chains and give it a toast
to the man who roast the moose.

Speaker 2 (43:40):
Knock it off.

Speaker 4 (43:41):
It's rust dold me cunning right like care Saint Steaking.
I don't don't dream Free in the town show, Still
the street.

Speaker 1 (43:53):
Now here's Brian rus Don. You was talking one O one, All.

Speaker 3 (44:00):
Right, welcome back down number two of the show. Good
morning and Happy Taco Tuesday. Thanks so much for waking
up with us today. I do appreciate it. You know,
every day we seem to get another example of how
the Democrats they are nothing but a bunch of little
indecisive children. I mean, seriously, that's all they are. They
can't make up their mind. They're inconsistent about what they want,

(44:23):
inconsistent about what they think, inconsistent about how they feel.
And one of the examples of that is the whole
Epstein thing. I've lost track at this point, I really have.
I don't know if we hate the Epstein files, we
love the Epstein files. Should they be released? Should they
not be released? Is Trump on? It? Is it good
that Trump's on?

Speaker 4 (44:41):
It?

Speaker 3 (44:41):
Is it bad that Trump's not on? It. It should be released,
we should vote for it. We shouldn't vote for it.
Oh my god, it's a horrible thing.

Speaker 2 (44:47):
Jeez.

Speaker 3 (44:51):
Now Harry's his son is coming out and he quoted
Trump saying I never have the privilege of going to
Epstein Island. And Harry's response is, WTF, So what are
you upset?

Speaker 1 (45:02):
Now?

Speaker 3 (45:02):
Because of the fan that Donald Trump didn't go to
the island, the fan that there's information that it's out
there that says, yeah, he's never been to the island.
There's no evidence, no proof, no nothing. And Donald Trump
because of the fan that he didn't choose his words
exactly as Harry, the educated NYU student says, when Donald
Trump said I never had the privilege of going to

(45:24):
Epstein Island. Now, first off, when Donald Trump speaks, and
by now for crying out loud, by now, everybody should
understand how Donald Trump speaks. Donald Trump is not the
best speaker in the world. Donald Trump shoots from the
hip when he opens his mouth. That is just who

(45:46):
Donald Trump is. We love Donald Trump for it. Sometimes
it's cringey, but sometimes we just love it for who
it is. And we know it, we expect it, we
understand that Donald Trump in the heat of a moment,
is going to just say something. So for Donald Trump
to come out and say I never had the privilege
of going to Epstein Island. By the way, Donald Trump

(46:08):
is also one sarcastic m effort. He really truly is.
So for him to come out and say I never
had the privilege of going to Epstein Island. Do you
think that he was really saying that? Is in like,
oh my god, I have just missed out on it totally.
I mean, I only wish I could have gone to
Epstein Island, but I wasn't invited, so I didn't get

(46:30):
that privilege. I just never had it, never had that
great opportunity to go to Epstein Island. Does anybody in
their right mind really think that that's what Donald Trump
was saying? No, But again the left, they're so butt
hurt and confused about this whole Epstein Island thing. They
don't know which way is up, which way is down anymore.

(46:53):
And now they're all mad and angry, and Donald Trump
is hiding something because he won't release the Epstein files.
But then he says he wants the Epstein fire released,
but then the Epstein files don't get released and they
want it, but they don't want it, and it's held Democrats.
You do understand that most of the names that have
been leaked out of that file has been on your party.

(47:16):
Do you guys really want I mean, I'm gonna ask
you this, Dems, do you really want to have the
Epstein files released? Do you think it's gonna do more damage?
Do you think that your precious Bill Clinton? Hill? Hillary
at that point too, Do you think that you're gonna
be on it? How about Bill Gates? You think he's

(47:37):
gonna be on it? How about all of these other
leftists that you just you fall? What about Joe Biden?
I think the chance to that he's on it. What
would happen if all of your Democrat heroes were on
the list and you were upset? Oh, I know exactly
what had happened. This was Donald Trump. Donald Trump faked
it to make sure that everybody else was in trouble

(48:01):
except for Donald Trump and Donald Jump.

Speaker 6 (48:04):
He's on the with the island and I need a binky.

Speaker 3 (48:09):
Somebody get me a binkie. I don't know what to do.
I can't do anything more without I believe you can't
get more cringey than Joe Biden. Yeah, I mean, geez,
come on, man, I mean look the pedals. Which this
is another thing too. I gotta point this out when
it comes to social media. For kuind a loud in
the censorship thing, there's algorithms now that prevent you from

(48:35):
saying certain words. And now some of the social media
sites will not let you say peedo, non pedophile, you
can't say that either, but pedo. So you can't get
out there and call somebody a pedo without you getting
one of those bing you're violin in the community standards.
So now they're all out there trying to say things.
Was I was watching one of the nitwits doing their

(48:58):
live stream and he was a P three d oh.
That's what they're calling it now, P three d oh.
Just call it what it is, pedo. Stand up to
the social media companies and say, hey, stop censoring my stuff.
That's the word pedo. That's what it is. Pedophile. But pedophiles,

(49:19):
they they are who they are, and it's not all
that hard to determine. And when have you seen Donald
Trump display any of that type of behavior? Well, have
you seen the way he is with children? Yeah? I've
seen the way he is with children. He will walk
up to a little girl, little boy and be like, hey,
how are you you know? And he he engages in

(49:41):
them in an intriguing kind of way. Not one of
those oh my god, Johnson and Johnson's baby. So I
don't call that way of that mouse. It's almost this
guy as bandeine for children. Hey, come here, little girl,
let me let me rub your shoulders a little little
bit while everybody's looking at you. This isn't creepy at all. Hey,

(50:04):
little girl, come here, let me put my hand on
your your mid mid section here and pull you a
little closer. Yeah, come here, a little closer. How many
times has Donald Trump talked about when he was at
the swimming pool. Yeah, when I'm at the swimming pool
and those children they would come up to my pool
and come up to my legs and they would they

(50:26):
would rub my legs because they love the hair on
my legs. And when they did that, I could I
could smell that children's panteen and that that Johnson and Johnson,
Oh that that that coconuts smell with the children's sunscreen.

Speaker 2 (50:43):
Ah.

Speaker 3 (50:47):
Yet it's Donald Trump that's the creep right, Come on
give me a break, and you wonder why the Democrat
Party is imploding. I mean, they're imploding so bad that
they can't even keep their outrage straight on anything. You know.
One of the latest polling, we talked about this yesterday,
the Quinnipiac University or congressional polling that they did, is

(51:09):
now showing that Democrats are polling at nineteen percent approval rating.
That's seventy two percent of Democrats disapprove of their own
damn party, seventy two percent. I'm baffled by this because

(51:29):
if I was running the DNC or the RNC or anything,
and all of a sudden I got the approval ratings
and saw that seventy two percent of the people that
are supposed to be on my side go, I don't
like you.

Speaker 2 (51:45):
I think.

Speaker 3 (51:46):
The very first thing that I'm gonna do is go,
holy crap, we got a problem, all right, emergency meeting, everybody,
kind of get together here. We got to figure this out.
Why don't they like us. Let's do another poll, let's
do some studies. Let's find out why they don't like us.
But they don't. Instead, they double down. You know, what
they need to start doing is they need to start
looking at people like Bernie Sanders. When we're at the breadline.

(52:09):
I'm getting some soup until bread I'll be right there aoc.
You know, the two of them flying around in private airplanes.
They tell you, hey, the oligarchy's bad. By the way,
I have to go jump on my private plane. I'll
see you later. You get Jasmine Crockett, who's about as
fake as fake can be. I mean, even if you're
from the hood or not from the hood, doesn't matter.

(52:31):
You look at Jasmine Crockett and go, oh, that girl fake.
Nobody likes her. And here's the other thing. I'm gonna
give Democrats credit where credit is due. Even Democrats realize
that the Democrat Party is not offering any solutions to
any problems. They're simply hate filled. And there is only

(52:56):
a certain level that you can take hate before you
you finally get tired of it. You know, when you
get that one person that you work with where they
complain about every little thing, and it gets to a
point you just tune them out from now on. It's like, look,
if you're not going to be productive and you're not
going to do something good for the business, I just
I don't have time for you, don't. I didn't want
to hear you talk anymore. That's where the Democrats have

(53:17):
gotten to at this point. The Democrats have no ideas,
They've got no solutions, no ideas, nothing but bitterness and anger.
And you know, the other thing that they don't have
is money, which is another shocking thing because remember, according
to some of the polling, about seventy percent of the

(53:38):
wealth in America belongs to Democrats. And right now, the
Republican National Committee currently is reporting that they have about
eighty three million dollars in cash on hand, compared to
the Democrat National Committee that only has thirteen million, which,
just by the way, is the difference that some of
the political observers have noted that could have law long

(54:00):
term implications for both national and state level races. This
isn't good for the Democrats. And look, I've told you
what the strategy is of the Democrats. The strategy of
the Democrats is not to take it from the top.
The idea is to take it from the bottom and
work your way up to the top. Get more of
the mayor's races, get more of the county commissioned seats,
get more of this state representatives and senators and governors,

(54:23):
and then eventually work into Congress, Senate, and then try
to take the president because you can fundamentally change this
country faster and more solidly if you do it on
the local level, which, by the way, Republicans, I wish
you would understand this Republican Party. I wish you would
understand that, this concept and why it is so important

(54:44):
to get the right people elected from the ground up.
But with only thirteen million dollars on hand, the DNC
is going to go through that in no time flat.
And David Hogg is the one that's out there saying
we need to raise twenty million dollars to be able
to run against fellow Democrats. If the DNC can't raise
the money, I don't know how in the world he

(55:05):
thinks he's gonna raise the money. And of course, the
very first candidate that David hoages the Leaders We Deserve
campaign has actually got in was Mama Donni. So there
is nothing that is good about the Democrats right now,

(55:26):
nothing good about the Democrats. The only good thing that
the Democrats actually have going for them, especially when it
goes into the midterms, is that Republicans don't get out
and vote. That's literally the only good thing that the
Democrats have going for themselves right now. They're losing their media. Look,
the view is on hiatus. They're losing Colbert, They're probably

(55:49):
gonna lose what's his nuts there on ABC. He's probably
gonna be gone for very long. It probably won't be
very long before NBC gets rid of their late night
shows as well. Nobody's watching the mainstream media. They're getting
their information from things like TikTok more than they are
from actual news organizations. So they are losing their propaganda
machine even though they're trying hard, and they aren't trying hard,

(56:13):
but they could still win simply because the Republicans don't
get out and vote. So you have to remember that
when the primaries come up and the general elections come
up next year, get out and vote, because if you don't,
that's the way the Democrats are going to win. And
when they're in the turmoil that they're in right now,
if we don't get out and do it, oh we're screwed.

(56:35):
We got to take a quick break. We'll be right back.
This is the Bride Ross Show. Good Morning, Good Morning America.

Speaker 1 (56:52):
Want to see the progressive Squirm, turn the Bryan Brush
Show up a little louder and watch them. Now back
to the show on news Talk one on one. All right,
welcome back to the show. Good morning.

Speaker 3 (57:04):
Has anybody ever had this happen to you? Like, I
think I got like a sunburn on my eyelifts are
on my eyeballs because ever since working out on the
weekend out of the sun, which I do, got a
bang in little tan. Well I've also got some bang
in tan lines too, which are not impressive. I think
I've got like, I don't know, I need to get
some sung glasses, I think, is what it is. It

(57:25):
just hurts mind that in the allergies, anybody else experiencing
the allergies here on the Panhandle, It's like I've been
popping Benadrill like their pez dispensers. It's horrible. So more
of the failures that are happening with the the mainstream media.
Remember Chuck Todd, the guy that used to be on NBC,
the guy that sucks so bad they had to get
rid of him. Well he now he does his his

(57:45):
own podcast called the Chuck Todcast. And he he was
on and he was talking a little bit about the
whole Hunter Biden thing, and he was upset about it.
He was upset about the fact that the media and
other podcasts locations are are our podcasters are actually doing

(58:09):
these interviews with Hunter Biden. Now, if you haven't seen
the Hunter Biden interviews, you got to go check him out.
There is there's one in particular. I forgot the podcast
it was on, but it was a big podcast one
that he did, uh, the one where he dropped the
F bomb like every other word. So it's one of
these things where you can't even play any clips of
it because all it is is him and beaten beat
beat beat beat beatn beat beat. I was very impressed

(58:31):
with it simply because of his his usage of the
F word, because being a connoisseur of the F word myself,
and I am very good at using it. I use
it like a comma. He's probably the only person on
the left that I've actually seen use it, right, Unlike
the whole thing where we're gonna F trump m that's

(58:56):
it's not the way you use that word in the
in the context that you're trying referred to. But okay,
we'll move on. But Todd Spillgump in his podcast after
Hunter Biden gave a slew of interviews that essentially got
of boiled down to the explicit related attacks on anyone
who either failed to support his dad or you know,

(59:18):
decided they were going to support Donald Trump in any way.
And honestly, I got to say it this way, I
give Hunters some props on his attacks on those who
failed to support his dad. I mean, because I totally
get it. I mean, look, we know Joe Biden was
an absolute epic failure and everything, but at least he
was stepping up and he was saying some truth, even

(59:40):
though I think we all know that Hunter Biden was
also kind of part of the problem with pushing Joe
Biden to run. But either way, he did have a
lot of very valid points when he talked about, you know,
the people that he he kind of cussed out. But
Todd went on with his main objective to The objection
to the interview was essentially having the younger Biden on

(01:00:05):
camera was not good for anyone, especially the Democrat Party.
Not very often that I actually agree with Chuck Todd,
but I do agree with him on this was it
was not a good look for the Democrat Party. Because one,
it showed yet another bigger division going between that party
with how he ripped apart people who were not supporting

(01:00:27):
him and ripped a part other things in the party.
I know that David Hoague was probably sitting in the
corner all excited going when watching that, because he's like,
this is great. But he said that I will never
book Hunter Biden. I have no interest in what he
has to say for a couple of reasons. And he said,
number one, he's not the candidate, he wasn't on the ballot.

(01:00:47):
Anything he says in defense of his father, I don't
know whether it's true or not, but it doesn't matter.
He's a son defending his father, and my guess is
he's going to defend him to the hilt. So just
kind of to think, you know, I take everyone at
his anger pieces of anger and criticism and sort of
just chalk it up to, yeah, he's defending his dad

(01:01:09):
and he loves his dad. And he says, I have
a real problem with the folks that are booking him.
If you've chosen to book Hunter Biden, you've chosen to
book spectacular, a spectacle. You're not interested in the interviews
that have gone viral with both designed to get attention,
not to surface new facts, not to give you a

(01:01:31):
better understanding of what may have happened. It's just let's
give him a platform to settle some scores. Then maybe
he wants to settle well, you know what, here's the thing.
If I could actually land an interview with Hunter Biden,
I would do it. I would. I would totally. I
would totally do an interview with Hunter Biden. Granted it
could not be live, it would have to be taped

(01:01:53):
so that we can we can bleep out some things,
but I would do an interview with Hunter Biden, and
not to give him a platform to criticize those that
are angry, because again, all of the people that had
Hunter Biden on, whether it's a podcast or whatever, and
Chuck Todd should have seen this and should know it,

(01:02:13):
and as a journalist should say, I want Hunter Biden
on my show, and I do. I would love to
have Hunter Biden on the show because all of the
things that he had said, there were follow up questions
to everything he said, and nobody followed up. Nobody was
being a journalist, nobody was being an interviewer and sitting

(01:02:37):
there and going well, wait a second, let me ask
you about that. Let me go down this road with
this particular topic. Let me go down the road with
this topic. Instead, you get people like Chuck Todd that
comes out and crying, I don't understand it might be
able to do it. It's not good for anything. You
know what, it might have been good for something if
the mainstream media and some of these leftists understood what

(01:02:59):
journalism really truly is. And again, if I could score
an interview with Hunter Biden, I would take that in
a heartbeat. Again, you have to be heavily censored, not edited,
just censored because I think that he would drop quite

(01:03:20):
a few of the F bombs on it. But they're
missing the point here when it comes to Hunter and
nobody's getting down into the nitty gritty. And of course,
maybe the reason why they're not getting into the nitty
gritty on it is because they're may be afraid of
what his answers are. They just want shock factor anymore. Yeah,

(01:03:41):
I mean that might be what they wanted was a
shock factor. And look, the Hunter Biden interview did get
a lot of shock, but you know what it would
have also gotten. And you know what, Chuck Todd could
have gotten out of it is when he did do
the shock, when he did say something that was shocking,
and he did say that something that was defending his dad.
Why not follow up with a question about that, get

(01:04:03):
into the depths of it and find out what's going on.
That's what real journalism is, and unfortunately real journalism has
gone away. They don't do it anymore. Speaking of journalism,
we got to do news here. Coming up at the
bottom of the hour. Another person who, by the way,
was speaking up well chat about this coming up after
the bottom of the hour news break, and that is

(01:04:25):
a former CBS anchor. I'm just gonna leave it at that.
We'll talk about what this anchor had to say when
getting upset about what's going on with CBS. Gotta love it,
don't forget that. If you miss a show, you can
grab it on the podcast. It's available right here at
the Brian Russshow dot com. That is official show website.
We tweaked it a little bit yesterday, so it looks

(01:04:45):
a little bit different now. But first we got to
take a quick break. We will be right back. This
is the Brian russ Show. Good Morning, Taking Back America.

Speaker 1 (01:04:56):
One uncensored and uncontrolled show at a time show and
it's on news Talk at one oh one.

Speaker 3 (01:05:02):
All right, I found myself in some serious peril here
this morning. I made my last cup of knock It
Off coffee. I ran out like I literally had to
turn the bag upside down to shake a little bit
more into my cake cup thingy so that I could
actually have coffee this morning for the show. I am

(01:05:23):
treasuring every last sip of it this morning. We'll make
it through, though, we will make it through tomorrow's show.
I'm not making any guarantees because tomorrow probably grumpy because
I'm gonna have to end up having one of those
those crappy cake cup round long time. Look, I love
me some knockodof coffee. It's the official coffee of the show.

(01:05:45):
If you want to try some, you can try it
now and knock it Off Dot Coffee that's where you
can go and order some. It's like fresh ground coffee.

Speaker 1 (01:05:53):
Like.

Speaker 3 (01:05:53):
Here's the thing with this is why I like Knogodoff coffee.
I mean, one, it's my coffee company, so obviously I
like it. For the other reason is because of the
fact that it's not one of these things where it's
like ground like a month ago, and it's sitting on
a shelf in a warehouse, and then it gets thrown
into a box, and then it gets sent to a store,
and then you grab it, and then you put it
on the shelf and eventually, no, it's actually roasted and

(01:06:17):
ground when you order it. So it's one of those
things where when you order it today, it's gonna take
a couple of days to get it because they've got
to roast the beans and then they got to grind
them all up or prepare them however you want. You
can get it all whole bean too, if you like that.
But I just I don't have time for all that.
I just I don't get that boushie and fancy with
my coffee. So you can check it out. The number

(01:06:38):
one flavor that everybody seems to like the most is
the number one seller on that is the whiskey aged barrel.
I haven't had any of that in a little while
because I ended up buying like a three pound bag
of coffee and I went through it, and of course
as I'm digging into it, going huh, I should probably
order some more. I should probably And what do I

(01:07:00):
do I run out and then I'm going to complain
about it for a couple of days when I could
have just ordered myself some coffee, but I didn't. Either way,
Good morning, Welcome back to the show, Happy Taco Tuesday.
Thanks so much for waking up with us today. We
do appreciate it as always so when it comes to
some of the latest people with our media complaining about things. CBS,

(01:07:25):
as we know, the CBS is going through the merger,
a merger that has now been approved by the FCC
and announced its approval of the eight billion dollar merger
between basically Paramount and what's the name of the company
is Skuydiance. It's Paramount Global and Skydiance Media. And former
CBS anchor Connie Chung.

Speaker 2 (01:07:46):
You remember her.

Speaker 3 (01:07:47):
I thought she just went away. When is the last
time she was actually on TV and mattered? I mean,
it's been so long. So she actually came out and
she was on CNN on Friday night and she said
that the recent merger, which I mean Paramount Global and
sky Dance Media could be the end of journalism as
she once knew it. Sweetheart, I hate to be the

(01:08:08):
one to break the news to you. I really do
the merger of Paramount Global and sky Dance is not
the end of journalism as you once knew it. The
journalism that you once knew went away a long time ago.
It went away a long time ago when corporate media,
which this is the case too. I mean, look, we've

(01:08:30):
seen it over and over again where you've seen these
major conglomerates that own all these TV stations who would
literally send down a script, and we've seen the videos
where where they have all the videos and let me
see if I can actually find one really super quickly.
Probably not, it's gonna tinue to long do that where

(01:08:50):
you hear all of the different anchors and the reporters
saying the exact same thing, is like a montage of
them saying the same thing. That, right there was one
of the signs that journalism was done when you are
getting the script downloaded from corporate and put into the
teleentprompter and you just read what it says. That was

(01:09:12):
the death of journalism. That was the end of it
right there. It was being pulled off of life support.
And now there is hardly any real journalism out there.
I mean there is some out there, but you have
to kind of find it. And what's sad now is
that TikTok, of all things, TikTok is one of the

(01:09:36):
sources where you can find more information and news than
you can on the major journalism sources like the mainstream media,
and you get more of a non bias on some
of these things. I like that new name, what is it,
Rustolians Restot, you know what, I'm not even gonna try

(01:09:58):
to do it today and just not enough coffee to
try it. But things, But there is a death in
journalism and the journalism that Connie Chung once did have.
You know, that was a time where they would go
out and they would investigate, they would they would report
the journalism, they would report the facts, just the facts
of what's going on. Now, you can't turn on CNN,

(01:10:19):
MSNBC and NBC News, ABC, CBS without hearing the thoughts
and the opinions of the anchor. Now, look, we've gotten
plenty of thoughts and opinions out there. That is That
is what this show is. I could I be a journalist, absolutely,
I can totally be a journalist if I needed to be.
That's not the stick that I do. That's not the

(01:10:39):
reason for why you listen to the show. You're not
listening to the show to find out what the latest
facts are on a story. You're listening to the show
to hear my opinion of a story of what's going on,
and we talk about things that are happening. So there
are sources for that. And even with Fox News, which
again number one news source, there is a difference between

(01:11:00):
the journalists on Fox News and the opinion people on
Fox News. When you watch CNN, when you watch NBC
or any of these others, you can't tell the difference
between the anchor that's just being a journalist and the
anchor that's trying to give you their opinion. And CNN
has got to be next to MSNBC. CNN is one

(01:11:24):
of the worst. Like that show with Abby what's her name,
the one that always looks like she's just like losing
IQ points the more she breathes when she's got that
show where they bring in the panel of people, And
I just saw another example of this. How it's just
it's so bad because she comes out there and rather
than sparking the conversation, which look, the concept of that

(01:11:46):
show is pretty cool, where you have the anchor, you
bring in a panel I think they bring in us
like five people onto the panel along with her. They'll
always bring in at least one or two on the
conservative side, usually get Scott Jennings and they'll talk about
the topics of the day and they'll give their points
back and forth. But Abby is always in there jumping

(01:12:06):
and going, no, wait a second, stile, well that's already
been clarified, and she won't let you do it. And
I watched an episode of it yesterday where they had
a black conservative, which right here, this is his problem.
He's a black conservative on CNN trying to speak the truth,
like they're gonna let you. They're mad that you're black
and conservative. Do you think they're gonna let you talk?

(01:12:28):
Krabby Abby, that's a good name for her, because she
is crabby and she's not very intelligent at all. I mean,
it's like every time that I see her on CNN,
I just I lose IQ points just from the residual
of watching her. But she's like, she's going on and
she's interrupting the black conservative and he finally snapped and
he's like, look, why won't you let me give my opinion?

(01:12:50):
Why won't you let me answer the question, and she's
like trying to talk down to him, like, Oh, you're
so stupid. You're so stupid. You're a black man and
you think you're a conservative. If you don't understand, you've
got to be dumb. If you're black and conservative, you
want me to take you serious? Oh my goodness. And

(01:13:11):
he was getting pissed. I mean, you could see it,
you could see the rage in him. But this is
what you get with journalism now. It's not what it
used to be. It's all opinion. And of course, the
other problem that we have is that nobody wants to
get into the business. And that's one of the problems
that a lot of local TV stations, like the TV

(01:13:32):
stations that we have here in the Panama City market,
it's hard for them to find up and coming talent
because there's not a whole lot of it anymore. And
whatever is out there, if the local stations don't snag
him right away, and they always put them under contract
so they can't go anywhere for a little while, that
the bigger markets are trying to grab them because they

(01:13:53):
just need people. We were talking maybe it was last year,
during the summertime of last year, maybe a little bit
earlier than that, we were talking about a news organization
in San Francisco. I believe it was where they were
going down the road of doing AI news, Like the
entire news platform was going to be all AI, it
was going to be customized with an algorithm for you.

(01:14:15):
It was going to be AI anchors and everything, which
sounds really kind of good, except the problem is is
it's crap in crap out. That's just like a lot
of the AI generators right now. When you go in
and ask it questions, like even Gronk on x, which
you think would be a little bit better, but there's
sometimes where you look at it and you go, what
in the hell? Like I actually put in a question

(01:14:38):
that I knew the answer to because I wrote the answer,
and I wrote it on a particular website, and I
asked Gronk the question to give me the answer, and
it turned around and gave me the answer that I
already answered when I put it in to begin with.
Now I could have put in something that was just
completely BS, and now I know where the source was
that it came from. You know, crap in, crap out.

(01:15:04):
That's exactly what you get when it comes to the AI.
So journalism it is dead. It's not what it once was.
And now, unfortunately we are, we're reverting to more online
content to get us answers. Because look, the reality is
when it comes to TV news and even radio news,

(01:15:24):
but more specifically television news, you are bound by time,
and it's it's bad in TV. Just to give you
an idea, when like a reporter is sent out to
do a story and they come back, they're told, you know,
you've got sixty seconds or you've got forty five seconds
or whatever it might be. And usually that is about

(01:15:45):
the time frame. And now that I'm pointing it out,
you're gonna watch the news and go, holy crap, he
was right. You can't get a lot of information in
in that time period, so they have to edit out
all kinds of stuff. If I find out the facts
about something, and I pull up my cell phone and
put it in front of me and put the camera
on and say, hey, I'm gonna green screen a couple
of effects behind me with with some of my sources

(01:16:07):
and everything, and I can ramble on for three four
five minutes about all of this stuff. So that's why
so many people are getting more news and information from
social media than they are the mainstream media. They need
to clean it up. It's just not working for them anymore.
And then you can see the implosion that is happening
on social media. And you know Connie Chung talking about

(01:16:29):
how you know, I fear the end of CBS as
I knew it, you know, because of the whole scandal
going on with again Stephen Colbert, who's supposed to be
a comedian, like this is a whole different ball this.
We're not even talking about news. He's supposed to be
on there making a joke so that you laugh, not

(01:16:51):
that you finish watching the news and go, I feel
more informed.

Speaker 2 (01:16:54):
Now.

Speaker 3 (01:16:54):
You're not supposed to watch Stephen Colbert and end that show.
Go whow, I'm in formed. Now I can go to bed.
You're supposed to end the day with humor because the
day has been rough. But Kramer over there, Jim Kramer
on CNBC. This guy, I mean, first off, we all
know where he stands. Screaming liberal, absolute screaming liberal. And

(01:17:20):
he was on CNN and they were talking a little
bit about Trump's economy and unfortunately I love this too.
On CNN where you see like the guy that comes
out and does the surveys or the polling information, and
he's like, yeah, look at this. Here's the information on
Donald Trump, and here's where his approval rating is, and
here's where the Democrats are. And you can see the
anchors just like sinking in their bodies going, oh, no,

(01:17:46):
you can't be saying Donald Trump's doing good. No, no.
Here with the memo, it says it right here. Look
it says say Donald Trump bad. You can't come out
here and do that. You see it every time. And
the guy that comes out and does it, you could
see like almost his joy. You can see that he's
like that hidden conservative sometimes. I think where he gets
out there, he's like, oh, this is gonna be great.
You're ready to watch this, And he gets out there

(01:18:08):
and he gives the information. Jim Kramer on a CNBC
he's clearly been an anti Donald Trump person, and he
was talking about the excitement about President Trump's latest trade
deal and it got the better of him last night
on the show, and Kramer ended up blurting out, he's

(01:18:30):
like whiskey tango Factott, saying that the actual thing. During
a segment of NBC's Squawk on the Streets after seeing
a graphic detail in the United States recent trade deals
with various countries, including a major trade deal that was
made to the European Union over the weekend. Because Jim
Kramer's been out there saying that Donald Trump's economy is
going to destroy everything. It's gonna be horrible, it's gonna

(01:18:51):
be bad. You're gonna lose your your four oh one
k and everything. It's gonna be bad. It's gonna be
the ending of all endings. And then he comes out
and he's like, what Duff, But he said, our biggest
problem is we have so much growth that the Fed
won't cut what Duff and and he let it out

(01:19:13):
because they're showing the graft, showing the examples of all
the success under Donald Trump. And even when Donald Trump
is now in the UK and he's in Scotland right
now and he's doing some golfing good for him and everything,
they want to criticize Donald Trump and they're looking for everything.
You know, he dropped a ball and played from that spot. Look,

(01:19:35):
if you've ever played golf and you've you've dropped the
golf ball into the rougher, the woods or anything, you
kind of look and go it's over there. I'm not
looking for that. Drop the ball and you continue to play.
That's what Donald Trump did. Not a big deal. It's
a golf thing. But they're going off about how, oh
my god, Donald Trump is cheating at golf. First off,
it's his damn golf course, so he can play however
he wants to. Second, every golfer has done that, so

(01:19:58):
sit down and shut up. But they don't want to
talk about the success that Donald Trump is having while
he is on a working vacation, something that Joe Biden
never did. By the way, you want to know who
Donald Trump met with, you don't have to put in
an information request because they've televised who he's met with
in all of the success that keeps coming out, and

(01:20:21):
all of these anchors like Jim Kramer and others, they
don't know what to do now because the facts are
in their face. Even when they did come out, like
the DNC came out the other day with the graph
about the grocery prices, and they tried to raise the
hysteria and slam on Donald Trump about how bad the
grocery prices are until somebody said, hey, wait a second,

(01:20:41):
what's that in the bottom of the graph, the bottom
of the graph ry theory, where it says the prices
are up, it went from twenty one twenty two to
twenty three twenty four. Yeah, it starts, ready to see
it right here. It starts at this point where the
prices were really low at twenty and then twenty one
it went up, twenty two it went up, twenty three,
really went up twenty four. It's way the hell up here.

(01:21:05):
And then it gets cut off. See it says it
right there, there's the dates, and the DNC went, oh crap,
oh quick, get the phone, delete that, delete that post.
Delete too late, because all the idiots spread that out, going,
oh look see how bad Donald Trump's economy is. Now.
I know because we have Ricky who watches the show
on Wimken every morning and he lives in California, and

(01:21:26):
he said to us over and over again, yeah, prices
here suck, which is interesting because the price is here
don't suck. Why is why is that over there? Just curious.
But they're getting to a point now where they are
running out of anything that they can actually remotely use

(01:21:47):
as a quote unquote fact to slam on Donald Trump.
These mainstream media people, the CNNs, the CNBCS, the MSNBC's,
they're gonna have to start going how do we twist this?
And how do we how do how do we eat
the crow? It's kurt right now, they're all eating crow?
How do you eat it? Do you want it? Do
you want it well done? Do you want it? Do

(01:22:09):
you want it sliced? Do you do you want it
to barbecued? Would you like it smoked? I mean, how
do you want your crow? Because the reality is that
the mainstream media is gonna have to start eating a
whole lot of it. They're going to be on a
crow diet, to say the least. All right, we got
to take a quick break. We'll be right back, Happy
Taco Tuesday. This is the Bride Rush Show. Good morning,

(01:22:39):
doing our part to save America. The Brian Rust Joe
is on news talking one oh one. All right, welcome
back to the show. Good Morning, Happy Taco Tuesday. So
you remember under the Biden administration, all the hard work
that they were doing, and we're doing so much work.
We're we're working a new negotiations and we're working with

(01:23:02):
these other countries to get these things done. And and
oh it's it's so much work, Anthony blinkin, what are
you doing?

Speaker 8 (01:23:07):
I'm here to save the world. Everybody where? Do you
need one meeting at a time. It's going to take
at least another ten or fifteen meetings, and then then
we're gonna have world peace. I promise you, it's going
to be the greatest thing ever. I'm Anthony Blincoln. I'm
here to see the world.

Speaker 3 (01:23:21):
I miss Anthony Clincoln. I miss being able to pick
on him. But we've seen this over and over again
with the Biden administration and the Democrats, where they they
go on and on and on and on and on
and on about trying to negotiate Donald Trump. He was
able to negotiate in less than a day, uh, not
only a diplomatic but economic negotiations with the Cambodia and

(01:23:44):
Thailand situation. And if you have missed this one, Cambodia
and Thailand have been fighting the distance. Cousins have been
sitting in there fighting, and Daddy finally stepped up and said, hey,
both of you sit down, and they both turned around
and went huh. And within that day, not only did

(01:24:06):
Donald Jump secure a ceasefire between Cambodia and Thailand, he
also secured some financial stuff and some deals with them
to do some trade. I mean, this is how good
and he did it in a day, hang on a
saying let me tee you off. All right, there we go.

(01:24:27):
So Cambodia, Thailand, knock it off. All right, let's go
get my ball. I mean, that's that's what we're talking
about with Donald Trump. He was able to do this thing.
Biden administration they could never do it. And then of
course the fantastic deal that was also created over the
weekend was the one that was done with the European Union,

(01:24:47):
which now has also gotten some of the anti Donald
Trump people in the Union upset because they feel that
they were left out of the negotiations. But I mean,
the bottom line is that the President of the European
Union Von whatever her name is, she came out and
she's like, look, I got this sit down because all
you guys are going to do is come out of
here and screw this all up, and you guys are

(01:25:09):
going to throw your hate and everything else, and we
need to do what's best for the union. So cool
your jets for a minute. I got this within a day,
works out an incredible deal and an absolute incredible deal,
more so for the United States, which I think is
one of the things that some of the leaders are
upset because they're like, what do we get out of this.
We still have to pay tariffs. But keep in mind

(01:25:31):
that we have been bombarded with tariffs from Europe since
World War Two, and the idea of that was to
be able to help their countries and their economies build
back after the war. So we're talking how many years down,
seventy years, eighty years, whatever the heck has been since

(01:25:51):
the end of World War Two that we have been
paying all of these tariffs. And Donald Trump got in
there and we're now going to pay zero two griffs
the US will it'll be fifteen percent for them to
pay on our stuff. But they're also going to buy
a bunch of American energy, They're going to invest into America,
and they're also going to be able to buy American

(01:26:15):
military technology. Now, investing into America is going to be
a win for the European Union because they're going to
invest into an economy that is going to be doing
very well and is already on the road to doing that.
And Donald Trump did this in between golf rounds. Joe

(01:26:35):
Biden can't even walk up a set of stairs unless
the auto pen approves it. We got to take a
break for news here at the top of the hour.
We'll be right back. Good morning.

Speaker 1 (01:26:47):

Speaker 1 (01:27:36):
Town show still Strey, now here's Brian russ Don you
was talking?

Speaker 3 (01:27:41):
One oh one? All right, Good morning and welcome back
to the show. Happy Taco Tuesday. As we hit our
number three on the show, typical leftist comments on this one.
Capitalism is better than socialism because one man gets to
be a trillion instead of everyone having healthcare. This following

(01:28:04):
a post that said Elon Musk is now officially worth
four hundred and five point six billion dollars in projected
to become the world's first trillionaire by twenty twenty seven.
You know, here's the thing. The left loves to bash
on capitalism and talk about how, oh my god, socialism

(01:28:26):
is so much better because it makes it fair, makes
it fair. So do you really think that the world
would be able to go around if everything was fair?
If I worked harder than you and you don't do anything,
and I don't get more than you because I work harder,

(01:28:50):
but I had to share what I get with you?
Do you think that's fair? Is that a better system?
I mean I would. I would like to have a
system where somebody who works hard, who does what they
need to do, gets to a point where they can
become wealthy. I want that for everybody, if you're able

(01:29:10):
to do that and support yourself. I want to see
that happen, because that's part of the American dream. And
it said the left, like, oh, it's not very it
gets to be a trillionaire when we used to have
health care for everyone. And here's the thing too, and
I bring this up all the time when it comes

(01:29:30):
to the health care argument. With how we should have
universal free health care and everybody should be on health
insurance is what they say. They won't really mean healthcare,
they mean health insurance. You should have health insurance. Who's
going to pay for that? You know? The problem that
we don't have. The problem we have is not that
it is not enough people are on health insurance. The

(01:29:54):
problem is with the actual health care industry itself, and
not necessarily the industry. I mean, there's portions of the
industry that is obviously greedy as all hell. But one
of the problems that we have is that it is
so expensive to do healthcare because of the level of regulations. Now, granted,
we want to make sure there's certain regulations on healthcare

(01:30:14):
because the last thing that we want to do is
seeing people, you know, cutting some corners. But why is
it that? And again I asked this question all the time.
Why hasn't members of Congress got together with healthcare industry
and ask them what can we do to make the
cost of healthcare cheaper? Instead? Their solution is we need

(01:30:36):
to get everybody in healthcare. Everybody needs to be on Obamacare,
because if you're on Obamacare, things are great. Let me
tell you something I was on the ACA, and it
was one of the absolute worst things that I've had
happened to me in all of my life with all
of the medical issues that I had, because it cost
me so much freaking money in just two months. It

(01:31:01):
cost me. It's not like four thousand dollars four or
five thousand dollars it cost me in two months, and
that wasn't even going forward with the thousand dollars a
month that it was going to cost for insurance for me.
So I'm not sure how they think that getting people

(01:31:23):
on the ACA is going to be a benefit, because
it's not. It actually made things worse. It stressed me
out worse. It made me even sicker because I was
getting stressed out because I couldn't do other things and
eat the way that I should be able to eat
and take care of stuff because I had to spend
one thousand dollars a month on health insurance with the
Affordable Care Act. I don't know who one thousand dollars

(01:31:43):
is affordable to, but as sure as hell wasn't me.
But you know what, when we look at what the
government does, there are so many examples of how government
just straight up fails, especially when it comes to managing
any sort of money and the idea of government being
in charge of healthcare. Look, we have a lot of

(01:32:03):
people that listen to the show that work in the
post office locally. Love you guys, Thank you for what
you do, Thank you for listening. Appreciate it. Which, by
the way, you know what I did today. I did
something that's very interesting. I can't wait to see it
happen because I honestly I don't remember the exact time
that I've ever done this. It's been decades since I've

(01:32:25):
done this, where I have put something in the mailbox
and raised the flag for it to be picked up.
I mean they I hope they still do that. I'm
gonna be interested to see if it goes down. As
soon as the mailman gets picked up in my security cams,
I'm gonna check to see if he does it. And
I'm sure he might have, because I don't even see

(01:32:47):
very often that you'll see like a flag up on
the post office box because a lot of people don't
do that. I mean, how often you actually get something
that's worth a damn in the in the mail? I mean,
most of the time you get stuff in the mail,
it goes right into the trash because it's not something
that that is a big deal. But as the United
States Postal Service is celebrating two hundred and fifty years,
it's also hemorrhaging billions of dollars, and of course it's

(01:33:09):
you and I, the tashpayer, that are on the hook
for this. The agency right now is fifteen billion dollars
in debt, as more losses and more debt are kind
of hanging around the corner. As the post Office, along
with the country, is hitting this milestone of two hundred
and fifty years, it continues to find some some serious

(01:33:31):
financial challenges, including projections that it will lose nearly seven
billion dollars this year. Last year it lost what was
the number, It was like, six nine billion. Last year
was six point five billion, No, nine point five billion

(01:33:54):
last year, six point five billion the year before that.
The agency has suffered over fifteen years of consecutive losses
and nobody's stepped up to say, hey, I think we
got a problem. And we're not talking about millions, We're
talking about billions, billions of dollars in loss. Nine point

(01:34:21):
five billion last year, six point five billion a year
before that, and right now projected to do seven and
a half billion dollars this year in loss. And you
think that government can handle healthcare better than the capitalism
and private They can't deliver letters without it costing us

(01:34:43):
a fortune, which, by the way, can I also ask
this question. And I'm sure you guys have seen this,
that new design of the mail car thing fish bowl.
Don't even know what you want to I'm sure that
it's better than anything that they've had in a very

(01:35:04):
long time. I hope it's got air conditioning, maybe even
a radio, maybe operate a little bit better. But for
the designers of it, let alone the people who said,
oh my god, that's a beautiful design. We should do that,
the designer of the new mail car, can I just

(01:35:24):
ask the question, what in the hell were you thinking
by having a ten foot by twenty five foot windshield
on this this thing? It doesn't even fit. It's as
if it was one of those things where they're in
the warehouse and they're going, all right, so we got
hang on, I think I got a windshield over here. Hey, ca,

(01:35:44):
we put this one on. It's too big. No, no,
we'll make it happen.

Speaker 4 (01:35:50):
Now.

Speaker 3 (01:35:51):
Sure, it's a little bit bigger. Now where you can
stand up, you can walk round in a little bit.
You know, that's fantastic. It's a little better, but damn
and I hope there is air conditioning in it for
the sake of our postal carriers, because if you don't
have air conditioning in that thing and you're driving around
with that gigantic, magnifying glass of glass that's in that thing.

(01:36:14):
I mean, even still with air conditioning, that thing has
got to be like just the sun is gonna be
pounding down in on you on that I mean, where
you're sitting, there's still five feet of glass above your head.
I mean, I want to know what three year old
or what elementary school they went to and said, okay, kids,
are you ready? What we're gonna do is we want
everybody to draw a truck and we're gonna make it

(01:36:36):
the mail truck. Okay, ready, everybody, go ahead. And then
the person who's sat there with the final designs in
the post office and they looked at it and they said, oh,
look at this one. Look at this one with that
big windshield. Let me ask this question, what's it going
to cost if that windshield cracks and you have to

(01:36:58):
replace the windshield. It's like eight times the cost of
a regular windshield. Oh hell, order a million of these things,
let them go.

Speaker 2 (01:37:06):
Come on.

Speaker 3 (01:37:10):
See, government is stupid. People that make decisions in government
are stupid. And all you have to do is look
at the new truck for the mail department. That thing
is just hideous. It really truly is. I mean, I
would I would kind of feel embarrassed about actually driving
around in that thing. It's like it's kind of like

(01:37:32):
one of those you know, now I've hit it. And
this is why it reminds me of children. Is it
reminds me of like the the Weebel Wobble cars. Remember
those the big car where you can put the Weebel
Wobble or the little characters inside the driver's seat and
you could drive around when you were a little kid.
But they had to have a big, huge windshield, so
you get your little hand in there with the thing.
That's what it reminds me of. Now. My other question is,

(01:37:57):
and this would be a question for some of our
post friends, is the thing a giant piece of crap?
I'm gonna guess that it probably is a piece of crap. Oh, actually,
hang on a second, one of our one of our
mail carriers that that that listens to the show. I'm
not gonna say his na because I don't ever want
to get him in trouble. Uh, there's AC no radio.

(01:38:18):
I guess that's okay. Uh, they call them the Polatypus
or the Simpson Mobile. Yeah, But does the AC work good?
Because again, it's that giant windshield. I mean literally, like
when you're sitting in it, the windshield goes like another
five feet above your head. If you haven't seen this
ugly looking thing, it's crazy, but it's a good thing.

(01:38:40):
There is air conditioning in it. But that air conditioning's
got to work like major league overtime because obviously you
got the window down while you're while you're delivering the mail.
And then, I mean, like especially yesterday, yesterday, with the
temperatures reaching up into the heat index up into the
one hundred and teens, which today, by the way, should
be about one hundred and eight for the heat index,

(01:39:01):
it had to be hot as hell driving around a
that thing. I would feel like one of those little
ants of the magnifying glass, like you're ready to just
you know, suddenly catch on fire or something. I don't know.
But they are ugly Simpson Mobile. I think that's probably
a better but you know, I think it really truly
is it's like the the old, the old Tonka or
was it playmate? Hang on a second, let me let

(01:39:21):
me look that up. I think a playmate is what
it was. You're gonna be careful with that too, because
you put in playmate and you might come across the
wrong uh, the wrong type of thing. It'll be one
of those don't look at this at work trying to
see because it's got to be what it is. It's
this what is reminding me of. It's reminding me of

(01:39:44):
when I see not there go I look at images
and what do you see? You see a playboy playmate
with a truck. The Internet is evil. I swear to God,
there's something wrong with the Internet. But yeah, that was there.
There it is. There's there's one that I'm seeing right
here is that teenage mentioned teenage ninja turtle thing. We're

(01:40:04):
a big window and they that's what it reminds me of. Okay,
I'm gonna get off the post office for a second
because that just got me going. But again, the billions
of dollars that it's being cost got to get somebody
in there that could actually run that thing like a
business and do it correctly, make it efficient, and make
sure that we're able still to do it. M mail truck.

(01:40:26):
Maybe they need a female truck too. Good one on
the dad joke. There, good one on the dad joke.
We got to take a quick break. We'll be right back.
Happy Taco Tuesday. Good morning, and thanks for waking up
with us. We'll be right back.

Speaker 1 (01:40:41):
If you're looking for candy coated and Brian is not
the Willie Wonka you're looking for, it's the Brian Rush
Show on news Talk at one oh one.

Speaker 3 (01:40:49):
All right, welcome back to the show. Happy Taco Tuesday,
and good question. Really want to know how they're losing
so much money the post office and where all the
money is going. You know, here's a question. Could the
post office and I'm just throwing this out here because

(01:41:09):
I'll get into it in a second, as to why
could the post office be the other USAID chitching just saying,
by the way, can we also notice this ever since
the USAID thing happened where all the funding got cut
and doze you went into it and found out all

(01:41:29):
the stuff that was being done and we found out
that there was multi billions of dollars that were being
spent in a project that never ended up getting built,
but all the money got spent, and all these other
things that we saw with the waste and the fraud
and the abuse, and then it comes down to the
Democrat Party now has no money in its coffers. There
are less and less protesters that are showing up to

(01:41:51):
some of these paid protests, and there's a lot of
things that the Democrats always seem to have a whole
lot of money for that all of a sudden they
don't have a whole lot of money for. I actually
saw somebody that did a video on this and kind
of really dove into it and started talking about all

(01:42:12):
these different little projects and different little agencies and the
different little things, and how they used to have all
of this money and once the USAID kind of well
was shredded to death, all of the Democrats funding, all
the money that the Democrats had, all the millions and

(01:42:32):
millions of dollars that the Democrat Party would waste on things,
all of a sudden, it's all gone. Things that kind
of just make you go hmm. And with the fact
that the post office. Now I can understand, you know,
something is as large as the post office being millions

(01:42:56):
in debt, millions is in single digit millions. I can
get that. But for you to go six and a
half nine and a half billion dollars billion dollars into
the red and nobody bats an eye at that, Nobody says, hey,

(01:43:20):
what are we spending the money on? Because I don't
know when the last time it was that you've gone
into a post office. I mean there's a few here
and there, but most post offices around the country they're
not in good shape. They're run down, they're old. There's
hardly anything modern in there about them. They're kind of

(01:43:41):
gross looking. You for the longest time, we didn't see
a fantastic fleet of vehicles. So how do you get
billions of dollars in debt operating the postal service? And
I don't think that Doze has actually dove into the
postal sus and maybe they should, because I think that

(01:44:03):
we should be demanding to know where the money is gone.
I mean, even if you tell us that, look, you know,
we we're charging X number of dollars for postage, and
this is what our overhead is. This is what it's
costing for people, This is what it's costing for insurance,
this is what it's costing for you know, the buildings,
for the maintenance, and just lay out the the the

(01:44:25):
the expenditures for the post office and and then have
them say, well, the only reason why we're going over
is because you know, we're really not We're not doing
as well as we thought we would. So we still
have to pay people, and we still have to keep
the places open, and it costs money. At least give
us an answer. But even still, when you reach a

(01:44:48):
point of a hundred million dollars, that should be a
stopping point. Fifty million dollars should be a what's going
on over here? A few millions should be I don't
know if we're doing this right, but to get to
a point where you're knocking on the door of ten

(01:45:09):
billion dollars worth a b annually in the red, there's
a problem. And I think that somebody should answer where
is the money going to? Even if it is again
telling us that you know, there's there's more more going
out than there is coming in. I get that, but

(01:45:31):
then again, the post office, the minds behind the post office,
not the amazing workers there because it's it's really truly
not the workers well, with the exception of a few,
I think, because there's a lot of them like that too.
The question really should be why haven't you done something
to elevate the post office? And you know, this has

(01:45:55):
been one of the problems with the post office is
that the mentality in the lead ship in the post
Office was, well, everybody's got to send them a letter.
They're gonna send letters. You know. It's one of the
coolest things. The nostalgist thing to get nowadays is a postcard.
I think the next time that I go on vacation somewhere,
even if it is just a weekend somewhere, I'm going

(01:46:16):
to get a postcard and send it to myself and
send it to a bunch of people too, because you
just don't get those nowadays, just a handwritten postcard, Hey
wish you were here, but you're not, Nana something like that.
We've got away from that as people because now we
have the Internet. So the internet is you know, hey,
I've got a bill that needs to be sent to

(01:46:36):
me that gets emailed. Hey I need to I need
to send you a letter that you need to sign
all right, email it, print it out, scan it, send
it back. So the idea of the the letter letter
has kind of gone away. But the Post Office never
stepped back to say, okay, well, how is FedEx doing so? Well? Hey,

(01:46:57):
why is why is ups doing our right? Holy crap,
look at what we'll? Look at what Amazon is doing,
and we keep messing up to the Amazon deliveries. Maybe somewhere, somewhere,
somebody should be held accountable for not looking into the
post office going up like ten, fifteen, twenty years ago.
The Post Office should have looked at h you know,

(01:47:19):
when Kinko's was coming out and all these other things,
those little print shops where they do the print stuff
and they do the mailings, all of this stuff. Why
nobody in the Post Office said, you know what, that's
a damn good idea, we should do that. They never
did it. Instead, they were relying on old technology and
it's dying. All right. We gotta take a break for
news here at the bottom of the hour. We will

(01:47:41):
be right back. Don't forget. You can get a copy
of the podcast of the show at the Brianrusshow dot com.
We'll be right back.

Speaker 2 (01:47:47):
Oh that's right.

Speaker 3 (01:47:57):
Be a proud member of team at all Off.

Speaker 1 (01:48:00):
Let your voice be heard The Brian Rust Show on
News Talking.

Speaker 3 (01:48:07):
Style is a disinteresting. Welcome back to the show. Good Morning,
Happy Taco Tuesday. So apparently in Tallahassee yesterday, something that
I've been saying needed to happen for a long time happened.
And even though I was saying it just a little
while ago, it needs to happen. At least it happened
sort of here Tallahassee yesterday. Stay lawmakers trying to get

(01:48:28):
a better understanding of Florida's healthcare system had a little
roundtable meeting with dozens of leaders from hospitals and insurance companies,
schools and more to discuss issues during a roundtable on Monday,
and they're trying to figure out, Hey, how can we
make healthcare better? You know what, there's one of those
times where you just make yourself feel like a genius.

(01:48:50):
I'm taking credit for that one, by the way, because
I've been saying it for months, if not a year
or so. You're welcome. That'll be interesting to see the
result said come out of that, though, I gotta look
into it a little bit. Just happened to come across
that that news story that they did that. So things
that make you go hmm. So here's something else when

(01:49:11):
it comes to the Democrats and how they cannot tell
the truth. I was gonna say, cannot tell hi, but
we know that's not the truth. Roy Cooper is now
one of the new heroes they're coming out with on
the Democrat side. And yesterday he was on MSNBC's Rachel
Madcow Show and he's now running for Senate in North
Carolina as a Democrat, the former governor Roy Cooper, and

(01:49:35):
he's now claiming that Republicans are taking food out of
the mouths of hungry children. Man, those Republicans, there's some
bad ombras, aren't they. First they're trying to push grandma
over the ledge in her wheelchair, even though it was
the Democrats that kind of signed up some death words
when its COVID what And then let's see, now we're

(01:49:58):
starving the children. They're starving the children. At least we're
not killing them in the womb. At least we're not
mutilating them. But you're starving them. Yeah, but you're mutilating
them and killing them. But you're starving them. You're taking
the food out of the mouths of hungry You know what,
here's the thing when a Democrat comes out and starts

(01:50:18):
talking about children and how, oh my god, the Republicans
are doing something bad for children, considering what your platform
stands for. Shut up. You have no room to criticize
the Republicans. Even if the Republicans did, if Donald Trump
was to stand there on the Capitol steps with every
single Republican Senator and congress person behind him and says

(01:50:40):
we are going to make the children of this country starve,
you still don't have the credibility to be able to
go out there and criticize the Republicans for wanting to
make the kids hungry, because they're not first and foremost.
But Roy Cooper said that, you know, there are so
many bad things coming out of Washington, DC that hurt

(01:51:01):
the middle class and hurt people who are trying and
dreaming of being in the middle class, seeing the healthcare
stripped away from them, seeing tax breaks for the wealthy
and the pittance for them. Time and time again, we
are seeing Washington hurt everyday, people taking food out of
the mouths of hungry children. Now what are we talking about,

(01:51:23):
all right? Well, first off, Yes, able bodied Americans who
are supposed to get up off of mom's couch or
your government assisted couch and get a job so that
you can actually afford to buy food for yourself and
to pay for your own health insurance. Yes, we booted
them off of the healthcare system because they are a nuisance.

(01:51:47):
They are a drain on the system that should be
focusing on that single mother, that single father, the grandma,
the grandpa, the woman with cancer, the man with Parkinson's.
That is the type of stuff that it should be
focusing on. Not fat ass who wants to sit there
playing video games all day long, eating his Cheetos and

(01:52:08):
sucking down sodas that he got with his EBT card.
That's not what it's supposed to be. And of course
the whole taking away the food. Oh my god, they're
taking away the food. They're making them hungry. No they're not.
They're simply saying, hey, all of this junk food and
crap that is killing us, that is creating all these

(01:52:28):
diseases in our kids.

Speaker 2 (01:52:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:52:31):
No, you can't buy those of the EBT anymore. If
you want that as an extra treat, save up some
money and buy it in the meantime, use the EBT
for food that is good for you for your children.
And granted I understand that it's hard to really do that,
but there are ways that you can do it. Let's
educate those who actually rely on those services on how

(01:52:54):
to eat healthier, how to buy healthier, how to cook
healthier because you hand do it on a budget. You
just need to know how to do it. And considering
the school systems for the most part across this country,
they don't teach that. I mean hell, at this point,
you know, with the way that we are in the
society now, it's like you get bombarded with food things

(01:53:17):
on social media and it's like, hey, order these food
things that'll be delivered to your door, and all you
got to do is throw it in the microwave. What
happens when the electricity goes out? What do you do?
You starve? Yeah, because you don't have a microwave. Well,
I just order door dash. It doesn't matter. Electricity is out.

(01:53:39):
The restaurant can't cook either. What are you gonna do?
But this whole idea that we are out here trying
to take food out of the mouths of hungry children.
But Roy Cooper goes out to say that, you know,
I thought that I needed to make a difference at
a time like this. I need to run for the
United States Senate because I've been able to work with

(01:54:01):
Republicans in North Carolina, and I've been able to try
and stop them when they do bad things. Because the
Democrats never do bad things, never said we expanded healthcare
to more than six hundred and seventy thousand North Carolinians.
We were able to put a plan in place that
helps address the high cost of living for North Carolinians

(01:54:23):
by eliminating four billion dollars in medical debt for two
million North Carolinians. Oh so, so you got rid of
the four billion dollars worth of medical debt. So who
ends up having to pay for that? So that so
you can let me see, let me hang on, let
me let me get hang on. We gotta do the

(01:54:43):
math on that one. Okay, you're ready. Here we go.
Let's see. What was it? Two billion? So get two billion?
Oh no, four billion, I'm sorry, it was four billion.
So you get the four billion dollars. Uh, okay, so
that is owed by these guys here. So we're gonna
we're gonna wipe that out. But that means it's four

(01:55:05):
four billion dollars not paid to the hospitals and doctors
who now have to make up that four billion dollars.
And let's see, uh, let's see that. Okay. If you
bring the carry the one and you bring it over

(01:55:26):
the okay, and then who gets to pay for it? You?
You get to pay for it. You didn't wipe out
the debt of anything. You didn't eliminate the debt. You
just passed it on to somebody else. You moron. But
he goes on to say that I take these problems
solving skills to Washington and make a difference for North Carolina.

(01:55:46):
I love my state, I love my country. It's time
for me to stemp up again. And I'm ready to
do this, he says. If you're ready to do this,
do it without lying. Seriously, be a man and do
it without lying. Because you lied to the people. You

(01:56:07):
lie to the people that the Republicans are trying to
take food out of children's mouth, hungry children's mouth, because
again that's the emotional thing, because the last thing that
you want to see is a hungry child, like the
messaging that's coming out of Gaza right Now have you
guys seen this, the young little babies that are sitting there.

(01:56:27):
You know, there's little one, two year old, three year
old kids that are crying and starving and they're they're
trying to get a little bit of food and they
just want a little bit and they're It's horrible to
watch it, really, truly, is you. It's hard to watch
that and not just go oh my god. But then
they deliver the message. They deliver the message about how
you know Donald Trump and Israel is preventing these children

(01:56:50):
from eating? No, they're not. There's millions and millions of
dollars worth of food that is being provided to these people,
but it's harmas you know, the wonderful Hamas, they're the
ones that are preventing those children from being able to eat.
But it looks great on video, those great on video

(01:57:12):
to be see how nasty Israel is. They're starving these children. Really,
So that eighteen wheeler that just drove in with all
that food, where where did all that food go? Where's
all of the supplies that are being delivered by America,
by Israel and a few other countries into Gaza to

(01:57:32):
feed said children that are hungry where's the food at
what is it? Is it in Israel? Probably not, because
most of the food that goes into those countries not
exactly the thing that you want to be like, Oh,
I'm keeping that for myself. We're not talking about gourmet meals.
We're not talking about the best stuff in the world.
We're talking about edible food that has some nutrition to it.

(01:57:57):
It's not something that you're gonna go to the restaurant
and be like, oh, I got to get some of that.
It's edible food with nutrition. So nobody's gonna take that
except for maybe, oh, I don't know Hummas, which they do.
But it's the continued lies that we get constantly from

(01:58:18):
the from the left when it comes to you know,
what's really truly going on? Now this one here, I
got to reach out to my buddy, Christine Christina Bob
who was one of Donald Trump's lawyers. She's not anymore,
but she was, and she was the lawyer that was
there for the mar A Lago raid. Devin Nunez came

(01:58:44):
out and he now chairs the President's Intelligence Advisory Board,
and he was saying that the Biden administration's raid on
Donald Trump's mar Lago Estate wasn't about the classified files. Huh.
Sunday morning. On Sunday In the Futures with Maria Bartaroma
on Fox News, Nunez said that newly declassified documents point

(01:59:06):
to the possibility that the FBI raid in twenty twenty
two was about recovering materials tied to the now discredited
Trump Russia investigation. Jesus, this just keeps getting thicker and thicker.
The raid was initially presented to the public as part
of a criminal probe into the president's handling of classified documents, which,

(01:59:27):
by the way, keep in mind that they only found
like two hundred documents. That was it, like two out
of documents that like, it's not even like two reams
of paper. That's what they found of quote unquote classified documents.
There wasn't much. But Nunez highlighted the declassification the classification

(01:59:47):
of a forty five page report from the Office of
the Director of National Intelligence, and he said that the
report had been withheld from the public view for years
despite its significance and the report, according to Nunez, contra Dix,
the long promoted narrative that Russian President Vladimir Putin sought
to help Donald Trump win the presidency in twenty sixteen,

(02:00:08):
and he said that we went through every single piece
of intelligence that existed. If anything, it was clear that
Putin was going to do anything. He probably wanted Hillary
Clinton to win because remember he had stuff on Hillary.
But Nwnas also claims that the report undermines the fundamental
argument behind the Crossfire Hurricane and is now being declassified

(02:00:31):
and being made available to the public. Nunas also said
that he would like to continue efforts to release more
suppressed information related to the origins of the Russia investigation.
So even maur A Lago they lied to us about it,
Is there anything that these people are not lying to
us about. It's getting ridiculous every time you turn around.

(02:00:53):
They just got to stop. I mean, at some point,
by the way, the Democrats are going to have to
realize you're going to get caught up on everything and
you might as well start to come clean. Look right now,
you know how to say face. This is how you
do it, Dems. When it comes to the mar A
Lago thing. If you had been anti Trump, you've been

(02:01:14):
out there spreading that whole thing about mar A Lago.
This is the time for you to gain the confidence
in your voters by turning around and saying, holy crap,
I can't believe that the Biden administration lied to me
as a member of Congress about that thing. I was
fully under the understanding that Donald Trump had all this
classified information and come to find out it was about

(02:01:36):
this hoax Russia thing. This is ridiculous. We need to
come down and find out what the deal is behind
this and who was responsible for that, because we owe
the American people better. You know how much credibility you
will get with the voters if you just come out
and do that. You're lying through your teeth. We all
know it. But look the low information voter, they're not
gonna get angry at you. They're gonna be like, oh

(02:01:56):
my god, I can't believe you were lied to. You
were you're a member of Congres. You were lied to. God,
they lied to us too. But don't you worry about it,
because we're here to fix it. Make sure you vote
for me Democrat next year. It's imploding for the Democrats
like nothing we've ever seen in our history. It's fantastic.
We got to take a quick break. We'll be right back.

(02:02:18):
Happy Taco Tuesday. Good morning, Good morning America.

Speaker 1 (02:02:33):
Want to see the progressive squirm turn the Bryan Brush
Show up a little louder and watch them.

Speaker 3 (02:02:40):
Now back to the show on news Talk one on one.
All right, welcome back to the show. Happy Taco Tuesday.
Things just turned tragic for me. I literally just drank
the last of my knock it off coffee. Now I
gotta order more. You have to drink the crappy stuff
for the rest of this week. Anyhow, welcome back to
the show. Thanks for waking up with a today. You know,

(02:03:01):
somebody pointed to some one out that, you know, you
could go to Sam's Club get one of those five
dollars roaster chickens, which granted a lot of people you
know that that are struggling may not be able to
afford to Sam's Club membership either, But either way, you
can still go to a wind Dixie or you know,
Walmart and get the same thing, get one of those

(02:03:21):
roaster chickens, and you can make four or five meals
out of that for five six dollars. And I was thinking,
you know what, actually be a lot of fun if
I had the time, which I really just don't, it
would be a lot of fun to actually do a series,
because very few people seem to be doing this, but
a series of how you can actually cook on a

(02:03:43):
real good budget, to be able to feed that family
on a good budget, because it's not that difficult. But
I think a lot of people, a lot of people
they just don't understand, and a lot of because look,
they don't teach it in school anymore. They don't teach
you how to do anything. I mean, look, I'm hungry.
Hang on a second, let me order something from the

(02:04:06):
app and okay, all right, it'll be here in about
twenty five minutes. Beautiful. No, speaking of which, my Amazon
delivery is out. What did I get? You know this?
I got it? I get it. I should not have
installed the Amazon app back onto the temporary phone because
it would have saved me a whole lot of money.
I have ordered something at least twice a day every

(02:04:29):
day for the past like three or four days. The
post office guy or the Amazon guy, whichever one is
coming is is gonna be very excited because they'd be like, man,
keep coming to Brian's house. You should see my garage.
It is it is bad that I feel like one
of those videos where it's like, you know, the guy
shows his wife's Amazon stack that all there. You see

(02:04:52):
my garage and I am full of Amazon boxes. I
gotta get rid of those things. They really do and
I gotta I gotta fix this this haup. But then again,
I don't get out enough to be able to go shopping.
So I hate saying it that I rely on Amazon
as much as I do, but I do. That's right.
It used to be called home economics. Home eck, we
all had that if we were for a Gen xer

(02:05:13):
or older. Where we had that where they taught us
the very basics of taking care of yourself. I mean,
how many young kids today? And granted I will say
this because and I now the schools getting ready to
go in. I want to actually go see some of
the programs. So I got to hit up Bay County

(02:05:33):
Schools on this to set up some tours of this.
But the May County School District, they are doing a
lot of these programs now that you know, had gone
away in the past, and they're adding a whole bunch
of other stuff. So I want to go check some
of them out. But yeah, we used to get those
things where it would be the simple stuff, like how
do you bake some cookies? I mean, just a very

(02:05:53):
basic thing. Let's make some cookies. Let's make some sandwiches.
I mean I remember making grilled cheese sandwiches HOMEX and
nowadays people only know how to do that. Say how
do I do this? I don't. I don't know how
to make a grilled teeth sandwich. And well, hang on,
let me door dash one. No, don't door dash one.
Take some bread, a little bit of butter, throw it

(02:06:13):
on there, Throw some cheese on there, Let the cheese melt,
let the bread toast. Take the thing off, let it
cool for a couple of seconds, slice it in a
half and eat. It's that simple. But so many people
nowadays are not taught that. And of course now we
see that it's so much easier to go ahead and
just buy all this processed foods and you know, get
the meals ready to eat and all these other things,

(02:06:34):
but they're expensive, and like it was pointed out, you
can do something as simple as a rotisserie chicken and
all the stuff that. I would love to do a
video series on that, just to come up with great
ideas of how you can you can feed your family
on things that are really cheap. And even if it
was one of those hey, let's take things that you
can only get with an EBT card. How do we

(02:06:57):
do this because we've gotten away from it. Now it's
so easy. You just get your phone or you pop
it up there and you see all the ads about oh,
don't worry about cooking or anything. Just order this thing
and it'll drop off boxes of food to you. Now
it's called sex and gender education. Yeah, schools have just
they've they've fallen off the rail. And even tacos. You know,

(02:07:18):
today is Taco Tuesday, Jill, I hope you have a
great Taco Tuesday as well. Where you're flying south in
the morning. What's south? Where are you going in the morning.
But even tacos are so easy to make, and tacos
can be one of the four or five meals that
you can make with a rotistere chicken. The Brian Rush Show,

(02:07:41):
Food Show and the Food Network. Yeah, there we go.
You know we could do it. We can have some
fun with that. Anyhow, we got to get ready to
get out of here. Don't forget that again. This is
the last week that we are doing the morning show
here on News talking to one on one. If you
have not heard, if you've been under a rock somewhere,
we've been elevated a bit here with the new owners

(02:08:03):
of the station. The show is now going to be
syndicated on the Florida Man Radio Network. That all begins
on Monday, and the show will be moving terrest real
you know, the broadcast radio. We'll be moving to nine
am till twelve noon. So that is where you're going
to start hearing this show coming up on Monday, unless

(02:08:23):
there is a temporary change of plans. That is the
the plan at this point is at Monday, you will
start hearing the show starting at nine am. However, you
will also still see the show live during the Rumble
and Wimken feed when and again I'm giving you some
of the magical secrets of radio. We will be recording

(02:08:45):
the show and we do it live right now, but
the nine to noon is actually going to be pre recorded.
It's going to be the recorded show that we do
now that we'll continue with the Rumble and Wimken feed,
but just recorded for later on for the broadcast at
nine am. So that's where we're gonna be. We'll still
be on all of our socials will be on the
text message and everything, so you can still reach out

(02:09:06):
to us. But again, Monday, we do change. We move
to nine am. So Monday morning, when you wake up
and I'm not here at five am, you'll know why
because I will be here at nine am, not at
five am. All right, we gotta go. The Brian Kill
Me Show is on the way. Next, have a fantastic
taco Tuesday. By the way, if you're looking for something
interesting today, Diego's. They've got this. I know if they do,

(02:09:30):
if anybody else does, it's awesome. The peanut butter tequila.
Trust me, you'll thank me for it later on. You
might curse me out later too, but you'll thank me.
We gotta go. We'll see you tomorrow. Bye bye,
