Speaker 1 (01:40):
Hello, welcome to the show. Happy What the hell is today? Thursday?
Thanks so much for getting your day going with us.
Do appreciate it? How the heck are you? I'm mean personally,
I'm actually hungry and because of the faith, and I
know there's gonna be at least five of you that
are gonna yell at me in the chats for this.
I haven't really had breakfast yet. I started sipping on
(02:00):
some of my knock It Off coffee, which I'm excited
because I got that in the other day. And as
you know, knock It Off Coffee is the official coffee
of the Brian Rush Show. You can get yours and
knock it Off Dot coffee. But I got the aged
whiskey barrel flavor. I think that's what it's called. It's totalicious.
And of course with me, I know I'm a little
(02:21):
on the bougie side, so I have it a little
on the fufuy kind of side.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
You know.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
That's just how I have my coffee. But I haven't
ate breakfast yet. I didn't have time to make an
English muffin, which I would have done with some peanut
butter on it, which you would have been good. But
I'm kind of running lake today, not gonna lie, kind
of running late today, and I know that if I
ended up doing peanut butter, which would have been delicious,
I would have been sitting here for the first five
minutes of the show going. I would have been like
(02:46):
the dog with the peanut butter, so instead I grabbed
a bag of fruit snacks. They're naturally flavored, though, I
mean there is that. However, I just looked at the
and I love these things because they're actually the ones
from Sam's, so the members mark ones. They're delicious. And
I know because I bitch about food all the time
and the chemicals and everything else. But every now and
(03:07):
then you just get that weakness and this is one
of my weaknesses. But then I just looked at it
and it's got corn syrup, sugar food starch, which is
a gelatine, so it's got to kind of have that.
Uh obviously, the the gelatin less than two percent of
the following of apple pere, uh, citric acid, natural flavors.
(03:29):
What the hell else they got in here?
Speaker 7 (03:31):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Black carrot juice? For what the hell is black carrot?
Speaker 6 (03:35):
You know?
Speaker 1 (03:35):
Hang on a second, give me a give me a
web browser here. Just curiosity has now gotten me Google
is uh Google Google Google? Sorry, I'm just I'm in
an interesting start this morning. So what's that English muffin?
You trader Brian?
Speaker 6 (03:53):
Do not do?
Speaker 8 (03:53):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (03:54):
Do it?
Speaker 1 (03:54):
All?
Speaker 8 (03:54):
Right?
Speaker 1 (03:54):
An American biscuit? That's what?
Speaker 8 (03:56):
Well?
Speaker 1 (03:56):
An American biscuit, but you know what I mean, they
call him English muffins, which you know what, actually, I
don't know are they gonna chance yet our guys from
the UK if they have English muffins over in English?
Because you know, America, we're stupid when it comes to food,
we really are. We call all kinds of things, you know, foreign,
(04:18):
foreign foods, like Chinese food. Like Chinese food, you know,
they're like ninety percent of the Chinese food that we
eat in this country is not even Chinese, it's American.
They made this stuff up in San Francisco during the
Gold Rush, and now we're all like, oh my god,
it's great. We're gone for Chinese food. It's like Mexican food.
Like most of the Mexican food that we eat here
(04:38):
in America that we think is like, you know, oh,
this is so authentic, especially when you get those restaurants
that I'll be like, this is authentic Mexican. You know,
most of the time that's more like of a peasant food.
Because if you've ever gone to like which I haven't,
but I haven't gone to Mexico City, but I've gone
to like real, truly authentic Mescics and restaurants here in
(04:58):
America when you look at it and go, I didn't
have this at Taco Bell. It's completely different. So Americans,
we're stupid like that, and we will we will do
that whole thing where we label something, you know, so
that I like, it's Chinese food. This is great. We're
having Chinese cookies like the Chinese children. Dell, no, you
(05:19):
don't because that's American, you fool. Anyhow, this is gotta
be an interesting show. I don't what flavor is this?
I mean this is but this is strawberry. They're delicious.
I don't know. You're already on at me in the
chats too, what's that? Real Chinese food is like bat
best soup and things like that, right, Chop suey. You
(05:43):
know this is another thing too, American food. I am
being from New England, I there's obviously, I mean, every
region has its own foods and one of the things
that we have up in New England is the thing
that we call American chop suey. And I didn't know
that that was not like an American thing, because again,
(06:04):
we have these foods that you know, we grow up
on or are kind of like established as American foods
and you just don't know. And I said something about
that when I moved out of the Northeast, and I said, yeah,
we have some American chop suey, and they're like, hell,
is that? What's American chop suey? Apparently it's not like
(06:26):
all that. I'm usual. You can find it in other places,
just not called American chop suey. Some people just call
other things. So yeah, I don't know either way. Welcome
to the show. How are you doing. I didn't get
much sleep last night either, so that's another reason why
I'm a little kind of on the groggy goofy side.
But we'll get through it. Black carrots so also known
as purple carrots. See, this is what they do to you.
(06:49):
They mess it with your head. Either it's black carrots
or it's purple carrots. You can't have it two different
colors in two different names. This world we live in,
it's just it's I can't take it anymore. Anyhow. We
do have a big show today. Bill Walton for the
Bill Walton Show is going to be joining us later
on this morning. Also, and I know I'm gonna screw
(07:09):
the guy's name up, but I'm gonna try it anyhow,
Tim Niazi, I think that's how you say his name.
I can almost guarantee it's not how you say his name.
But he's the foreign affairs correspondent for the Washington Examiner.
He's gonna join us later on today. We're going to
talk about the big summit tomorrow, the big summit that
and again the left, Oh my god, this the the
(07:32):
what's the words that I'm looking for now? See I'm
without words even already this morning. This is just this
is gonna be an interesting show. The contradiction that the
that the left always does because they throw their testy
fit about you know, Donald Chump's not meeting with potent. Oh,
he's meeting with Putin, so now he's a Russian agent.
If he doesn't meet, then he is. But if he did,
(07:52):
and then I don't know what I'm talking about. It
just gotta say something hateful to Donald Trump. And of
course they're throwing their fits about the fact that Donald
Trump is his big summit tomorrow in Alaska, which just
this is a quick reminder to Donald Jump because it
made me laugh when when he said it, uh, Freudian
slip or something. I don't know, because you know, Alaska
(08:14):
used to be part of Russia. It was owned by Russia.
We bought it from him, And he said the other day,
going to Russia to see Saint Potin. It's like, no,
Putin's coming to America to see you, Bud, get a
couple of hours to sleep before you go up there. Okay.
Speaker 7 (08:27):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
But the left is throwing their temper tantrum about it,
about how it's it's it's so bad, and it's it's
it's gonna be a horrible thing, and and Donald Jump
is going there to get his marching orders, and on
and on and on and on. What's that purple carrots
are an original color? Orange or bread like gmo? Hmm,
Well that just ruined so much stuff. But you know what, Ricky, actually,
(08:51):
now that I think about it, I think I actually
knew that. Yeah, they mess with their food. I wonder
we're such a messed up group of people. But anyhow,
we're gonna talk with Tim coming up later on this morning,
kind of get a deep dive in what we could
expect to tomorrow with the big summit up in Alaska.
(09:11):
But then again, some of the left they don't understand either.
Some of the left think that Donald Trumps don't going
on another foreign trip. He's not going to America, He's
going to Alaska. And I swear if I see another
liberal do this where they talk about how that's in America,
I'm leaving. I'm going to Hawaii. I can't take it
(09:31):
in America anymore. I've got to go to Hawaii. I
want to say that's funny and that I'm making that up,
but I'm not. I have seen in the past six
months or so so many of these whiny little white
liberals on social media talking about how they're leaving America
now and they're gonna go to Hawaii because they can't
(09:53):
take it in America anymore.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
Now.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
I don't expect most people to be able to say,
you know, hey, I know that you know, Ohio became
part of the Union at such and such a date,
and that Iowa became part of the country on such
and such a date, because look, America's two hundred and
forty nine years old. A lot of us formed earlier,
(10:20):
you know, but it's one of the most recent acquisitions
of the country. And these people are like, I don't
even know when it's not it's not part of America.
It's way out there in the Atlantic, right there next
to Alaska. Don't you ever look at maps? See, this
is the problem with you Maga people. You're stupid. And
(10:44):
that's really how they kind of behave. It's just it's
so stupid. But anyhow, a lot of other things going
on to Texas, the things that are on the roll
because the Texas Democrats have decided, Okay, we're done. Now
we're gonna come back. They've just decided that they're going
to end their little abandoning of their jobs in their
(11:05):
runaway and they're gonna now come back to Texas so
they can go ahead and do their vote, which they're
gonna lose. They're gonna do the redistricting and that'll get
all done and over. But thankfully we have our roving
idiot reporter with our breaking news. So let's go to
the streets to get our breaking news from our roving
liberal reporter, Hairbear. What's going on?
Speaker 6 (11:28):
Gavin Newsom just confirmed it. Donald Trump has missed the
deadline to back off redistricting and California will redraw their maps.
A new tweet from the Gavin Newsom Press office accounts
on Twitter, they made sure to write it in a
way that Donald Trump and MAGA would understand, saying, quote
Donald Taco Trump, as many call him, missed the deadline.
(11:51):
California will now draw new, more beautiful maps. They will
be historic, as they will end the Trump presidency. Dems
take back the House. Big press conference this week with
powerful Dems and Gavin Newsom, your favorite governor, that will
be devastating for MAGA. Thank you for your attention to
this matter, Signed Gavin Newsom. So I think the all
caps and shorter words might be better for MAGA and
(12:14):
Donald Trump to understand. Maybe they get the memo here
that Gavin Newsom is going ahead. He will redraw California's
maps because Texas and other Republican states are trying to cheat,
they're trying to rig the twenty twenty six elections in
their favor. Democrats are not going to stand by idly
and watch them do it. So there's going to be
a press conference this week, and I know that Donald
Trump's going to be watching.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
My kid's an idiot. Oh my god, Maga, it's all over.
Gavin Newsom's gonna draw the lines. It's gonna reindraw the
lines that it's gonna be the worst thing, and oh
my god, what are we all gonna do? But you
know what, here's the thing that people like Gavin Newsom
kind of failed to remember is that California in the
(12:59):
last election took a double digit swing to the right.
So you want to be careful because you may go
ahead and redraw those lines in the effort to stop MAGA.
But when your state is swinging more that way and
things are not improving any in your state, and yet
(13:19):
Donald Trump is doing things to improve things to uther,
it may backfire on you. But again, who cares. If
Texas doesn't even get to to redraw the lines, your
party is falling apart. Now. The only thing that you
have for an advantage on the left is the fact
(13:42):
that the RNC is dumb as a box of rocks,
and that the RNC doesn't have the I don't know
if it's the capability or the will to actually go
out there and spread the message the way that it
needs to be to correct people like right now, where's
(14:02):
the RNC talking about how the Democrats have abandoned their job.
They ran away rather than defending you, the Texans and
the people of Texas. They ran away. They didn't fight.
They said they fight, But how are you supposed to
fight when you're doing it from a luxury hotel in
Chicago that somebody else is paying for. It's not fighting,
(14:27):
that's running away. That's cowardice, is what that is. Yes,
Sheriff Bianco for governor in California, that would be fantastic,
you know what. I like the guy. I just unfortunately,
because of California and California the way it is, I
just don't see it happening, mostly because of the fact
that while the sheriff I like everything about him, he's
(14:51):
not as slick as Gavin Newsom. That's like the one
good thing that Gavin Newsom's got going for him, not
for the American people, not for Californi, but for him
is the fact that he is so slick and he
could get out there and deliver that very slick, sly
message and be like, I'm the greatest ever. Look at
my hair, and if you don't like it and don't
(15:13):
believe it, you can watch my hand movements and all
my hand movements are just like this. So yeah, I mean,
what are the issues that they're gonna do? And again,
I don't know why the RNC doesn't jump in on
a situation like California. You know, I know that what
they end up doing all the time is they go,
oh my god, we're not gonna put the effort into
California because we're probably gonna lose it. Yeah, you know what,
(15:36):
there's a good chance, I mean, I'll be honest, there's
a good chance that the sheriff is probably not going
to win the election in the state of California. But
you could put up one hell of a fight. You
could come in there. Guns are blazing, not literally but
figuraly guns are blazing into into the the governor's race
with this guy going in there and just making all
(16:00):
kinds of noise pointing out the failures of the Democrat
Party and the Republicans getting out there and spending just
a couple of million. You don't have to do a
whole lot, just a couple of million. And I know
it's sad to say that because most of us are like, hell,
one hundred bucks is kind of too much for me,
But a's spending a couple of million dollars to almost
win California and make an impact is worth it. Because
(16:24):
even if you don't get the governor's seat. You could
come in there and make so much noise and point
out all the failures, point out the Maxine Waters, point
out all of the stuff that Gavin Newsom has done
that has not benefited California. You point out all the
things that have happened in Los Angeles. Look, Los Angeles
has been one of the top cities in the world
(16:47):
that actually downloads this podcast. So, I mean, California is
looking for some conservatism. It's just they don't really have
it there. And the Republican Party tucks their tail between
their legs and goes, oh my god, no, we can't
go over there. It's like, yes you can. And I
said this about New York City during the election, and
I even told this to the RNC when we had
(17:07):
them on this show, to get out there and tell
the people of New York and in this case, tell
the people of California vote for us, and this is why.
And the response that I got blew my mind. They're like, well, actually,
we have an office in New York City and what
you can do is come to the office and you
can pick up some literature of ours. Meanwhile, the Democrats
(17:31):
are on the streets, knocking on the doors, making all
kinds of noise, saying Republicans suck, and Republicans are over
there sucking in their office, going hi, we've got literature.
You wanna come by, come and see us. You got
to get out and fight, And that's one of the
problems that the Republican Party has is they just don't
know how to fight. They always want to take the
(17:53):
high road. I mean, what we really truly need is
Republicans that are willing to get out and say, hey,
by the way, Democrats, let me show you how to
actually cuss and do it correctly, call them out on
the stuff that they're doing, and be a strong party,
show some serious leadership. But this is where we lose
it all the time with the Republican parties because we're
(18:14):
too afraid to rock the boat. And quite honestly, we
don't need to rock the boat. You need to go
over there, stand on the boat and put your damn
foot through the bottom of it and sink it. Take
the low road if you have to, because look, the
Democrats are doing just that. They take the low road.
(18:34):
So you need to contact Elon Musk, get something from
the boring company, and bore a road right underneath them
and take it even lower, take their knee caps out,
and it can be done. But the Republican Party is
just not tough enough to do it. And that's why
I think we'll end up losing a bunch of seats
coming up in November of next year. We got to
(18:56):
take a break. We'll be right back, all right, Welcome
back to the show. Thank you so much for checking
us out here on the Florida Man Radio dedwork. Also
(19:16):
streaming on Rumbles, streaming on Wimkin as well, where you
can watch this hot mess. Look, some people are into
self torture. It's your thing. It's your thing. I'm not
gonna judge at least them wearing clean underwear today, So
thanks so much for checking us out. Wait Ah, this
world we're living, it is just going crazy and crazy.
Has anybody seen the new controversy? This is the is
(19:39):
the worst thing that's ever happened according to Maga, which
really isn't. We're all just like really, I mean, nobody's
nobody's like freaking out, flipping out. Nobody is just like
the most upset they've ever been. We're just looking at
this and go, come on, and this is the fact
that the Minnesota Vikings have replaced two female cheerleaders with
(20:01):
two male cheerleaders for the twenty twenty six five twenty
six season. Now, to say that they've replaced two female
cheerleaders with these male cheerleaders is kind of a stretch,
because I'm gonna tell you, I it was so funny.
I was watching this in the office yesterday and one
of the guys goes, oh, you see this, here's the
(20:21):
male cheerleaders. And I turned around quickly, and to be
perfectly honest with you, the male cheerleader that was in
the video, I didn't even notice right away because he
was so incredibly feminine that it took me a second.
I'm like, which one is the Oh, there it is,
and nobody cares.
Speaker 7 (20:41):
Like.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
Look, sure, those of us on the right that are
kind of tired of all this woke thing, we've looked
at it and said, all right, come on, do we
really need to have male cheerleaders?
Speaker 6 (20:53):
Now?
Speaker 1 (20:53):
If we were to have the male cheerleaders, they should
be the kind that like the college male cheerleaders. The
one that knows is that if I get into cheerleading,
I can use this as an exercise. Plus, I can
only use a hook up with the chicks that they
get out there. They're the big, buff guys and they
throw the girls up in the air, you know that thing. Okay,
where do you deal with it?
Speaker 8 (21:13):
Now?
Speaker 1 (21:13):
These cheerleaders look nobody's flipping out about it, But at
the same time, we don't really want it. I mean,
what's the purpose of it? I mean, I'm not surprised
that it's Minnesota that's doing this, but again, what's the
purpose of it? And I think that's what we have
the question for because I don't think that there's very
(21:35):
many men or women that are NFL fans that are
gonna be like, hey, hey, calm down just a second.
I know that they're in between the commercial and everything,
but we got to watch the male cheerleaders. Nobody cares.
But at the same time, it's like, what are you doing?
Who do you think is gonna be attracting this? Do
(21:57):
you think that all of a sudden because what we
put to extremely feminine, and man, they are feminine too.
I mean, if it wasn't for the fact that they're
not dressed like the girls, which I'm surprised or not,
you probably would have a hard time to determining whether
or not they were boys, that's how feminine they are.
But it's like, what's the point, what do you think
you're attracting. Nobody's gonna be excited that, Oh my god,
(22:20):
there's the male cheerleaders there. Even the women women are
not gonna be looking at that and going, oh my god,
it's so dreamy. They've got the two male cheerleaders because
clearly the two male cheerleaders are not anybody that really
any woman is going to look at and be like,
(22:41):
oh my god, this is so great. They've got the
male cheerleaders because they're gonna be looking at and going, well,
maybe they're like shopping buddies. I don't know the only
reason for putting them on there. And again, you could
have put them on there like you know high school
and college teams, the cheerleading teams do. When the guys
get in there, they're the ones that you know, just
(23:01):
happen to be the big, buff guys, and they'll be
up there to lift the girls up on their shoulders
and do the flips and all the other stuff that
they do, which makes sense. You know, you get some
manly men all up in there to do or are
and throw the girls around. But that's not even the
role that these guys are playing. I mean, I've watched
a couple of the videos where they show them like
(23:21):
doing all their practice and everything, and it's like they're
out there going, Hi, I'm so much more feminine than
the girls are.
Speaker 6 (23:29):
Hi.
Speaker 1 (23:30):
It's like Jesus Man. But the left things that we
are just upset about it, and we're not. We're just
looking at it, going, what the F is the point?
You're not attracting anybody new, you just got them there?
What's that? William? At least they have tampons in their
bathrooms in Minnesota right out there there is that too.
(23:51):
But our boy Hairbear comes out. He's like, if you're
maga and you actually care about this, you're a total
effing loser and dork. Bunch of insecure men taking their
problems out on guys pursuing a career they enjoy. Let
them do what they love. This is why your wives
hate you. And it's all because the fact. He reposted
(24:16):
a poster in The Daily Caller that simply said Minnesota
Vikings have replaced two female cheerleaders with two male cheerleaders
for the twenty sixth season. Okay, that's just that's the
Daily Caller reporting some news. It wasn't the Daily Caller
out there going damn it can't believe that they put
(24:38):
these gay guys up in there or they're doing the maddle.
There was nothing. It was just hey, news flash for you.
The Minnesota Vikings put two male cheerleaders on the team,
Okay and Hairbear, who at this point he's just so desperate,
I mean, he's so desperate to try and throw knives
and throw hate at the Left that his response to
(24:59):
that is that that if you're Maga and you actually
care about this, you're a total effing loser and a
dork bunch of insecure men taking their problems out on
guys pursuing a career they enjoy. Let them do what
they love. This is why your wives hate you. Like,
his criticism of this doesn't even make any sense. And again,
(25:22):
it's one of these situations where you have to ask,
what is the point, I mean, what is the point
of having a sport that focuses on a male domination
for the viewership, Even though there's a lot of women
that watch the sport, and even the women that watch
(25:43):
the sport. I just there's no real reason for it.
I mean, yes, the cheerleaders are there, and quite honestly,
let's be very frank on this, how many people actually
pay attention to the cheerleaders that are at the NFL games.
I mean, you don't see them hardly on TV. There
(26:06):
might be like one little swipe that comes by and
you'll see them go with their pom poms, and then
that's it. You hardly see them. When you're at an
actual game and the cheerleaders come out to do their
commercial break and halftime shows and all the other stuff,
most of us have already left our seats and we're
going to get beer and hotdog, so we don't really care.
(26:27):
I mean, it's kind of one of those things where
it's a The cheerleaders for NFL teams are more like
an outside the game kind of promotional thing where they'll
send them out and the guys will all be like, hey, god,
chicks up here, and again, where's the attraction on this?
Because if the Minnesota Vikings are gonna be over at
(26:48):
Bob's Bar and everywhere to come out and promote the team,
you know how many men are gonna want to be
like Hey, you don't want to go out to the bar.
We're gonna go over to Bob's bar because the Minnesota
cheerleaders are over there. Yeah, they brought the two dudes too.
Nobody's good. It's just it it defies any sort of
logic other than DEI. It's it's nothing but a DEI
(27:13):
kind of push to be like, oh my god, we're
being so awesome and we're bringing in the male cheerleaders
and they like, they're very feminine and everything, and we're
just this is so great. It's not. It does nothing.
I mean, the only thing I guess maybe it creates
guilty of it is that we're talking about the Minnesota Vikings.
(27:36):
Other than that, probably even the sports stations wouldn't be
talking about the Minnesota Vikings. But it's just it's it's
another example of the left and just how stupid it is.
And I think they've also kind of doing it so
that they can give the propagandas something that they can
they can poke at. But again, makes no damn sense.
What's that. No, my ex wife hates me for several
(27:58):
other reasons, you know what. Guilty has charge on that
one too. But yeah, it's just it's so stupid. It
really truly is stupid of what the left tries to do.
And it's like they're just they're trying to come up
with some sort of a something that they could just
come out and be like, see, you guys, they're bad
(28:20):
and evil. It's all Donald Trump's fault. Now, Like I said,
if they brought in those male cheerleaders to be the
ones to you know, throw the girls around or whatever,
you know, it would make a little bit of sense,
you know, because you can look at it, even as
(28:40):
a straight man, look at it and go totally see
what he's doing. You know, I know why he's looking up.
He's not just looking up because he's got the girl
up on his shoulders. We'd have some of that later. Anyhow,
Speaking of Minnesota, let's do this one because Minnesota is
just so much fun. This morning, the daughter of Tampon
Tim Hope Walls she now believes that President Trump's crackdown
(29:06):
on crime in Washington, DC is nothing more than as
she called it. She says, okay, so on the topic
of book talk as well as Trump's bitch baby woossy
scaredy cat behavior in DC, it got me thinking about
a book I read in college, woosy scaredy cat behavior.
(29:37):
Let me guess your daddy taught you that one, right,
that came from your daddy, Because I don't know about you,
but I don't think that intimidated or scared anybody in
the country. As a matter of fact, when I first
saw the quote, I had to laugh at it. Bitch, baby,
woosy scaredy cat behavior. Who talks like that, I mean,
(30:02):
who says Woosey's scaredy can't behavior? I mean Tim Waltzwood.
It's so bad. It's so bad with Donald Trump. Hang on,
I have to go to the men's room to get
a tampon. I don't know where I'm gonna put it,
but I gotta go get one right now. But she
goes on to say that I was thinking when I
(30:25):
was at the University of Minnesota. It was locking up
our own by James Foreman, and it talks about what
led to Arguably you should also read The New Jim
Crow and then go into this one along with the
like a million in between you kind of get it.
But like modern mass incarceration of like black men, and
(30:47):
it talks about DC and the War on drugs and
how all that led up to what we're seeing now. Also,
note that the crime rate in DC is the lowest
it has been in thirty years. But this is it's
a good book to get like a larger viewpoint of
sort of stuff. I can't continue on, I really can't.
(31:08):
This is the woman that we want to what like
take serious. First off, you're the daughter of Tim Walls
and you come off using the word bussy.
Speaker 6 (31:19):
What was it?
Speaker 1 (31:20):
Woosy?
Speaker 2 (31:21):
Damn?
Speaker 1 (31:21):
What was the thing bussy's scaredy cat behavior? How is
it scaredy cat? Besides, I don't think the last time
that I've ever used the word scaredy cat, I think
I was talking to a child Like this is this
is words that the grownups use. I can imagine this
(31:42):
is probably one of these things that Tim Walls is like,
Oh my god, Hope, Hope. What you need to do
is you need to use the word scaredy cat because
when you say scaredy cat, bussy, scaredy cat, no less,
it scares me. But then again, maybe it was mom
because that woman. Can you have to can you imagine
having to admit that that Tim Wallace's wife is your mom?
(32:09):
But we should we should go read these books apparently
because Hope Waltz, who I bet you anything. Before I
said her name and even brought this up, you had
no idea she existed. Because nobody cares. Nobody cares about you, Hope.
Nobody cares about your daddy either, And nobody also cares
about these Minnesota vikings, the well, the team, or the cheerleaders.
(32:31):
But in DC, as we continue to see all of
the left melt down on this because of Donald Trump's
bitch baby, whissy, scaredy cat behavior, you know where, He's
gone to DC and he's decided, hey, we need to
fix the problem here. Within twenty four hours, they've already
done about one hundred arrests since Donald Trump said, Hey,
(32:53):
we need to go in there and we need to
crack down onto this crime. The crime that is nonexistent,
the crime that is all in Donald trump head, the
crime that is just this entire thing is all political.
DC is the safest city ever. There's never any crime here. Right,
Come on, media, join me with this one. Tell them
all that there's nothing wrong. As the media comes out
(33:16):
and goes, yeah, that's a load of horsecrap. Because I've
been threatened, I've been card jagged. My colleagues have been
card jagged.
Speaker 6 (33:23):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
By the way, within the first twenty four hours of
y'all saying that there's no crime, we had another murder
go on here. Yeah, the d C is not that great,
despite what the numbers are saying. It's not that great.
And that's what the media is saying. But the politicians
are like, oh my god, it's Donald Trump said it,
so we have to go against it. I mean, this
(33:44):
is how much they hate Donald Trump. They hate Donald
Trump to the point they're willing to sacrifice the residence
of Washington, d C. They don't want the residents of Washington,
d C to be safe, so instead they get out
there and they're like, Donald Trump making it up. Really,
my wife was car jank last night, my son was
(34:07):
killed last night, my place got broken into last night. No,
I think there's some crime going on here in DC.
And yet the left continue with the push that no,
there's not it's not And now just to get into
it a little bit more. And this is how you
can tell that this is a load of horsecrap. A
lot of the dark dark money donors, including people like
(34:27):
George Sorows, have now pumped about twenty million dollars into Washington,
d C Anti Trump protest movement because of the fact
that Donald Trump is trying to crack down on crime
or on all the bad stuff that's going on. The donors,
which do include George Sorows, have contributed more than twenty
million dollars to progressive groups that are funding protests against
(34:51):
Donald Trump's law enforcement crackdown in DC. Republicans, again, this
is another one of these things you have to jump
on to be saying, Look, this is how much these
democrats hate you, These progressives and liberals, they hate you
to the point that they're willing to spend twenty million
(35:13):
dollars to protest Donald Trump's crackdown on crime. And I
don't know if I mean, Look, I think that Washington,
did't see, is a beautiful city. I would love to
go back there and visit DC to see the sites
and to do the whole thing. I don't know if
I want to be there right now, because when I
(35:35):
look at the the police chief who when was asked
by a reporter, hey, what about the chain of command?
And she goes, huh what they don't I don't know what.
Speaker 2 (35:47):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (35:48):
I don't know what that. I don't know what that is.
To the point that the mayor, Mayor Bowser, who's also
was bought as dumb as a brick, had to step
in the way and be like, here, get other the way,
gether the way. Let me. I got this question. You're
looking stupid. They're gonna jump on you for the DEI
huh what huh? I mean literally she had that look
on her face when the reporter asked her, this is
(36:10):
the head of law enforcement. Do you think people are
gonna feel good and comfy? And again Donald Trump comes out,
makes the announcement, Hey, we're gonna do this. We're gonna
bring in the National Guard people, and they all come out.
Now there's no thing, there's no reason to do it.
There was a murder within less than twenty four hours,
a mile away from the White House, a mile away,
(36:31):
and they have that It's like, come on, guys. And
again this is one of those examples of how the
Republican Party's missing the boat on this to be able
to jump on it and say, look, the progressive leftist
there really just been twenty million dollars against your safety.
And this is where they do They do this all
(36:51):
the time. They do it everywhere, all because of the
fact that they simply hate Donald Trump, who is doing
things for America. And again I've this out on the show.
Most of what Donald Trump has done, aside from the
big things like all the trade and all these other things,
has benefited the blue cities to make life better there.
(37:16):
He's not attacking these blue cities to make life worse.
He's looking for the safety to improve blue cities. And
yet they jump on Donald Trump that he's the worst
in the world. And where's the Republican Party to point
this out. They're not doing it, and they've got to.
All right, we got to take a quick break. We'll
(37:36):
be back in a second. Don't forget that. You can
check out the show at the Brianrustshow dot com. Also
check us out at Floridamanradio dot com where they have
the stream. You can listen to us there, and of
course download the Florida Man Radio app where you can
take us everywhere, as well as watch the show on
Rumble dot com and Wimkin dot com. Forward's last Brian
Rust Show. Hang on, we will be right back. Good morning.
Thanks for checking us out. All right, welcome back to
(38:09):
the show How You Endured and Happy Thursday, one more
day away till the weekend, and one more day away
until the big summit over there in the foreign country
of Alaska. So I can't help but laugh at that
that people think that places like Alaska and Hawaii are
not part of America. If people are stupid anyhow, Tomorrow
(38:32):
is the big day for the summit with Donald Trump
and President Putin. You know that way Donald Trump can
get his marching orders from Putin, as they say. But
we'll see what happens tomorrow. It's gonna be interesting. I'm
willing to bet you that Donald Trump is gonna go
in pretty strong because the way that Donald Trump has
(38:53):
been during this term, he's been stronger than he's ever been,
and he's so much more empowered at this point. I
don't think that this is going to turn out in
the way that the Democrats did, and they're gonna be
They're gonna be crying and melting down tomorrow afternoon. So
Monday Show we'll have plenty of breakdown of the lefts
crying and whining that Donald Jump. He didn't get beaten
(39:18):
up by bluten like we thought he was going to
but coming up in the hour number three of the show,
we do have Tim Narazzi, and I think that's how
you say his name. I could be completely chances that
I'm wrong on that are pretty high. That's how you
say his last name. But he's the FORID affairs correspondent
for the Washington Examiner. He's gonna be joining us during
(39:38):
that hour to talk about the summit that's going down tomorrow.
Plus Bill Walton is also gonna be joining us with
the Bill Walton Show. We're gonna chat with him coming
up the next hour as well. But right now we
are watching the situation in Texas, and of course Gavin
Newsen is stepping up and saying, if you do it,
we're gonna do it too, and we're gonna destroy the
(39:58):
Republican Party by drawing eye districts. Now, one of the
things that numb Nuts has got to remember is that
in California you've actually lost seats because you're losing population.
So be very careful of how you redraw your lines.
You may end up losing more and more people in
your state. That and if you're not careful, you could
(40:22):
actually add another Republican seat to things in California, because
well California took a double digit lean over to the
right in the last election. So be careful. How do
you do it? Because if you pull an Illinois where
you draw the lines and you make that thin, narrow
thing because you know that you can get that particular community,
(40:44):
it's going to backfire on you. And people are already
pissed about you in California. So just just think about that.
Pretty soon, Canada will be part of the US, along
with Greenland, at least part of it, Ricky. I mean,
the western provinces of Canada. They've they've about had it
with all that liberal stuff going on in Canada as well.
They're they're ready to go do their own damn thing,
(41:06):
do it. I mean maybe they they maybe they could
just be a whole other country on their own. We'll
support it, We'll be friends with them because they like us.
We like them. But it's gonna be fun to watch
tomorrow with the with the summit that will be going
down in Alaska, see what Donald Trump can get out
of this and see if he can actually end the war.
And of course that would be another hit for the Democrats.
(41:29):
If Donald Trump is able to end this war, you know,
when he's able to sit him down and say, dude,
knock it off. And the fact that that Putin is
coming to America, it says a lot. If Putin was
really truly winning this, if Putin was confident that everything
(41:49):
was going to be fine, why would he come to
America to talk it out with Donald Trump. So there's
your first sign right there that things aren't going so
well for Russia. So we'll watch this this go down.
But in the meantime, we do have the redistricting stuff
going on in Texas. The Democrats now reports are they're
all heading back. They're gonna they're gonna go, and they're
(42:10):
gonna do the vote. The vote that we've all said, Hey,
it's gonna happen no matter what. You know, you're running
away for the longest time is not gonna help anything.
What's that a large part of our population has mental
issues and dual personalities. Do they count double ricky? That's
that's funny. You're being in California, you know, who knows.
(42:32):
Maybe they will say that, they'll be like, no, it's
not mental health issues, it's multiple personalities, and every one
of the personalities should be counted as an individual. They
all have their opinions, like, you know what's really horrib
about that is that I actually can see that as
being a legitimate argument for the left, Like if they
(42:56):
can't figure out any other way to get votes, they'll
start saying, look, we have these people with schizophrenia and
they've got multiple personality disorders, and it's not fair to
the other personalities to not have a say in the vote.
So all twelve people that they're running around inside that
person's head should have a vote that that wouldn't surprise me.
(43:16):
The wouldn't surprise me one bit to see something like
that come down. But with the Texas Democrats now heading
back to Texas to do the vote, to actually fight
in the state house like they should be. You do
have New York. You have Massachusetts, which I can't. I
can't even add that in there. I really can't. With
Massachusetts saying, oh my god, we're gonna redraw our districts too, say,
(43:38):
shut up, you're an entire Democrat controlled state commonwealth. You
know every single district in there in that state is Democrats,
So the hell's draw redrawing the lines due it's the
governor of Massachusetts going, hey, I could be tough too. No,
you can't sit down, shut up, have a lobster roll.
(43:58):
But Al Sharpton is now coming out and he's talking
about how you know Donald Trump with his targeting of
you know, majority black cities, and that it's another race
bating thing of Al Sharpton here because you know, Donald
Trump's the big bad racist. And Tuesday, when he was
(44:20):
on MSNBC's Chris Jensen Reports, they were talking about Donald
Trump taking over the federal control of the police in Washington,
DC and calling out crime and other major black cities
and he's calling it race bating. He said that the
data shows the crime and violent crime has gone down
in Washington and he's going to send out to National Guard.
(44:40):
Well why didn't he send it out on January sixth? Well,
first off, Al, I don't know how many more times
we can say this. I really don't know how many
more times we can say this. The National Guard is
not nine to one one. You don't pick up the
phone and say hey, quickly send the National Guard and
(45:01):
they all come in with there we oo here, we
are to save the day. It doesn't work that way. Lefties,
get that through your thick skulls. You can't call in
the national Guard like you do the police. It takes
time to mobilize them. And when it comes to the
January sixth thing, this has been a proven fact. Donald
(45:28):
Trump offered it weeks in advance. Nancy Pelosi and Miriam Bauer,
the mayor of DC, refused it. So knock it off
with this, why didn't Donald Trump do it? Donald Trump
offered it, they didn't take it. So the question is
to be redirected al to why did Nancy and Mayor
(45:50):
Bauer not take the National Guard when it was offered.
That is the question you should ask. But Sharton continues
on to say that, well, we didn't see him send
it out January sixth, So this is clear politics. It's
aimed at black mayors. And he continues on saying that
there are many cities in between Washington and Chicago and
(46:11):
Washington and Oakland. He only chose the black ones, So
it is clear what he's trying to do. He's trying
to race bait. His own base is very concerned about Epstein.
So what do you do. You throw your base red meat.
Let's go back into race, and all the blacks are
breaking crime, breaking the law we need to go in.
(46:32):
It's race baiting, and I think what he's done is
disgraceful and puts people under siege unnecessarily. You know what,
This is one of the things that I think that
a lot of the Black Americans, whether you're a Democrat
or Republican, you should be asking this question, why is
(46:53):
it that we have cities that are majority black cities
with high crime rates? Why is that? Whose fault is that?
And when you talk about the cities with the black mayors,
and we're aiming at at the black mayors, all right, well,
let's look at that New York City black mayor, Washington,
(47:14):
d C. Black mayor, LA black mayor, and all of
the problems that are going on in those cities. Now,
I'll say I'll say this, I'll be honest with you.
It's not the fact that it's a black mayor. It's
the fact that it's an idiot mayor. And the question
(47:35):
really should be coming from Al Sharpton when it comes
to the criticism on black mayors and black majority cities
is again, why is this happening in black majority cities?
Why do we have high crime rates in areas where
there's a majority play. Is there something that's going wrong.
Let's find the root cause to find out why it
(47:57):
is that cities that have a majority black pop have
such high crime problems. Why is it that in the
hoods that are primarily black residents, Why is life not
good there? And this has been a problem since way
before Donald Trump even sat down on the couch and
Oprah Winfrey when she said, would you ever think about
(48:20):
running for president? This has been a problem for a
very long time. So Al Sharpton, you should be asking
that question, why is this happening in black cities and
black residents. Whether again you're Democrat, Independent, Republican doesn't really matter.
You should be asking your question. Oh that's right, New
(48:41):
Orleans black mayor two. You should be asking the question,
why are we picking the absolute worst black people to
be the ones to run these cities. I mean we
do it for white people. I mean we don't do
it on the race aspect. We just look and go, man,
that person's an idiot. We need to get a better mayor,
or we need to get a better person, whatever it
(49:03):
might be. So why is it that the black community
and people like Al Sharpton are not saying, hey, you
know It seems like every time that we pick one
of these black mayors, it ends up being the absolute
worst one, and it really makes us all look bad.
It makes us the black population look really bad that
we have an idiot black mayor who continues to put
(49:26):
the city in worse conditions. And then we see bad crime,
we see the economy crashing, we see everything is bad,
education is bad. All this stuff is bad. And we're
picking like the worst black leaders. So why don't they
ask the question, Hey, let's pick a really smart black
guy or a black woman one who's really intelligent to
(49:49):
lead our city. That way things look good. Instead, you
pick the worst of the worst. Donald Chrump is he's
a attacking DC because of the fact that it's a
black police chief who's dumb as a brick, absolutely dumb
is a brick. The woman who said who was when
(50:10):
she was asked the question about chain of command and
she goes, uh, I don't uh, well, I don't can
I don't unders can can you explain to me? I mean,
when you are at the top of the chain, you
should know what a chain of command is. But you
never see Al Sharmpton or the likes of him going
(50:32):
out and asking the question, why is it that black
communities are so bad? And I can tell you why
it's bad. Democrat policies. What's that case of the upper
arms are distracting? I know, it's like they're so white.
It's the neapolitan that's going on. If you're watching the
video the shirt that I've got on it, it fits snugly,
(50:53):
but yeah, the neapolitan color thing. Is that what's driving
you crazy? Distracting? Or is it just they're so damn sexy?
Wow the gun show. Sorry distracted. It's gonna be one
of these days. I'm telling you it really truly is.
But then the question is never asked and we never
even pointed out, which we we should. We should just
call it out for what it is that the Democrats
(51:16):
have done this to the black community. Now a lot
of the black community is waking up to realize that,
you know, that is the case that they they have
been going after you, that they have been doing everything
they can to hold you down, because I mean, look,
it's been decades. This is not something new. This is
not something in the past four years, not something the
past six months or whatever that has happened just because
(51:37):
of Donald Trump. It's been decades, decades and generations of
black majority communities being bad conditions, and the question should
should be maybe to yourselves when you ask this question,
is why is it that we keep voting for Democrats
(51:58):
to run our areas in our cities and we never
are lifted up? Why is it that we keep voting
for Democrats who keep saying that they're going to do
all this stuff for us, yet we have the worst education.
Why is it that we keep voting for Democrats? And
in these black communities, we have businesses that struggle, We
(52:21):
don't have a lot of jobs in the area. It
doesn't get the attention that anything else does. And crime
is higher here than it is anywhere else. Why does
this keep happening? Remember that question?
Speaker 8 (52:32):
Why?
Speaker 1 (52:32):
That word the most powerful word in our language. Why,
And it's not being used when it comes to figuring
out what the Democrat Party is doing. And it's a
simple answer. They're doing it to you. It's about the
power and control, and they do it out of fear.
(52:53):
If you get the crime to continue to be at
a higher rate, you can get the other people who
are in the city that start to become fearful, and
you come in and you say, hey, you vote for us,
We're gonna take care of this. We're gonna, we're gonna
make sure that things are done. We're gonna, we're gonna,
we're gonna protect you. We're gonna do what's best for you.
And then they go, okay, great, because why you have
(53:14):
a lot of panic, You have a lot of fear.
Am I gonna be able to afford my rent next month?
Am I gonna be able to put food on the
table for my children? Am I gonna be able to
get a job that pays me a little bit more money?
And I can't lose the low paying job that I've
gotten now, because if I do, I'm gonna lose my house,
my children won't be able to eat. This is a
(53:34):
fearful thing, and it's exactly how the Democrat Party works.
They work strictly on fear, and right now is a
perfect example because they've got no ideas. The Democrat Party
is not bringing any ideas to the table. Even in Texas,
you know, with the whole redistricting thing, where's their ideas?
There isn't any, So they ran away. Everything they do
(53:59):
is based done fear. And in Texas they can't institute
any fear because there's nothing to fear. They've tried this
with all the Republicans. They're being so mean and they're
they're going after all of the migrants. Well, look at
all the Texas towns and cities that have had such
negative effects of all of the illegal migration that has
gone on there. The deaths, the rapes, the murders, the violence,
(54:23):
and everything else that has happened in Texas and these
towns because of Democrat policies. They've got nothing. And for
decades they have destroyed the black communities on purpose, starting
with the nuclear family. Get the fathers out of the picture.
(54:45):
Which when you get the fathers out of the picture,
and then it goes back to the fear thing about
the mothers who now have to raise a couple of
kids on our own on a job that's not paying
well because the Democrats aren't getting really good businesses and
good paying jobs and up the community. So we were fearful,
what are we gonna do? I got all these things
that I'm worried about, and the Democrats come riding in
(55:06):
on their donkey. Yeah, we're here to save the day.
We're gonna save you we're gonna make sure that you
have food stamps. We're gonna make sure you have all
those government assistance. And then the people who are afraid
right now that they're gonna lose their homes, they're not
gonna be able to feed their children and say, Okay, good,
thank you, we're gonna vote for you, rather than the
Democrats coming in and saying, look, we need to lift
(55:28):
up these communities. We need to get high paying jobs
into these communities. We need to focus on the education
in these communities to lift up the community so that
they can be educated, they get better jobs, they can
move out of the hood, they can have a better
life for themselves. They don't have to rely on government,
and they never do it. Instead, they show the fight.
(55:54):
We're gonna fight those Republicans to make sure that you
still get your government checks. Thank god, I need that
government check. It's how the Democrats operate. They keep you
in the fear and then it works. And for Al
Sharpton to come out and just start bashing on Donald
Trump that you know he's targeting these cities, I mean,
what is Donald Trump trying to do? By the way,
(56:17):
I mean, let's look look at this. Donald Trump. Yes,
he is targeting these cities, but what is he targeting
them for. Is he going in there to try and
get businesses out? Is he going in there to try
and defund the schools. Is he going in there to
defund the police to make it less safe. No, everything
that Donald Trump is doing to target these cities is
(56:41):
to improve the cities. So where's the problem here. The
problem here is the fact that they can't rule on fear.
And when they can't rule on this is where they
(57:01):
go and they're in panic mode. And it's sad to
watch this because it's a very easy solution and they
won't jump on and admit it. The other thing now
that's going on too is the Donald Trump now has
thirty days with the situation in Washington, d C. And
(57:25):
he's now come out and said, look, here's the deal
of Congress. They've got to pass an extension because Washington,
d C. Is a federal territory. It's not a regular
city or state or anything, so it falls under a
whole bunch of different.
Speaker 6 (57:38):
Rules that.
Speaker 1 (57:42):
Washington Congress needs to act on this and to give
us more to be able to give us more time,
more people, more money, and everything else. To continue what
he's doing in DC to clean up the city, because,
let's face it, thirty days isn't a lot. Yes, they've
arrested about one hundred people in the past couple of days.
It's great steps, great stress, but it is going to
take a little bit longer to clean up the city
(58:03):
and to change a lot of this stuff. So he
wants Congress to do with this and extend his plan,
and he said that he may end up having to
declare a national emergency to maintain the control over Washington,
DC's police force if Congress doesn't work with him to
extend the current federalization plan. And the sad part about
this is that in a couple of weeks, when Congress
(58:24):
returns to Washington to start doing things like the budget,
I mean the spending plan. We don't do budgets now,
spending plan, they're not going to jump on this because
a lot of the Republicans are going to cave to
the pressure of the Democrats. Because the Democrats will come out,
they'll throw punches, they'll call the Democrat Republicans' names, they'll
(58:44):
threaten them with all kinds of stuff, and the Republicans
will cave and they'll be like, oh, well, no, we
can't do it because it's just not right.
Speaker 8 (58:54):
You know.
Speaker 1 (58:55):
The other day Joe Scarborough even said this, I mean,
and this should be a signed to all of the
Republicans and Democrats in Congress that when you look at
who is coming out now and talking about the crime
in the situations in DC. We had the ABC Washington
correspondent the other day was talking about, Hey, here's all
(59:15):
the things that have happened in the block from our studios.
Here's the things that happened all of my colleagues. Joe Scarborough,
who again not the biggest Donald Trump fan, he came out,
I think it was yesterday on his show and he said, listen,
I lived a block away from the Supreme Court when
I was in Washington, d C. And it was riddled
(59:35):
with crime. It still is, and we need to do
something about it. I mean, when you get some of
the most hardcore liberal media personalities that are out there
now talking about how DC is not a safe place
and what Donald Trump's doing is right, this should be
the sign for the rest of them to say, okay,
(59:57):
all right, when we get back, we've got to extend
this a little bit we've got to clean up Washington,
d C. And they need to, and it should be
a model for the other cities. And of course when
Donald Trump said that, you know, he said that, you know,
this should be a model for the other cities when
we clean up Washington, d C. Of course the left
(01:00:18):
freaks out, going, oh my god, Donald Trump. But he's
going to federalize all of these cities and wants it's
going to be the next city, and he's going to
bring in the National Guard to all of these areas. No,
what he's saying is it should be a model that
if you crack down on crime, you can clean up
your city. But they'll leaf they they're not looking at
it that way. They don't because they don't care about
(01:00:38):
the people. They want power and control. And again, if
you're not scared, they lose their power and control. But Congress,
they're going to have to act quickly on this because
they won't have much time when they get back in
a couple of weeks, they'll have like a week or
so to be able to hammer out any details and
(01:00:58):
extend the federalisation of the Washington, d C. Police Department.
And quite honestly, it's probably time to reconsider Washington, DC
as a whole because Washington, d C. One of the
problems that law enforcement has there, and Janin Piro has
pointed this out and so hasn't a lot of other
legal experts, is that the city council itself has actually
(01:01:21):
made laws to protect bad people. They actually have passed
laws in DC to benefit the criminals. So why aren't
people in d C going, hold up, wait a minute,
what you're passing laws here in the city so that
(01:01:43):
the bad people can get away with stuff. It's just
messed up that even some of the voters don't see it.
But again, when they are bombarded with the propaganda from
all the leftists side about how big, bad and evil
Donald Trump is and how the Republicans are taking away
(01:02:05):
your freedoms, and they pump in the scariness because look,
the idea of the National Guard coming into your town
to take over law enforcement, that's a scary kind of prospect.
And it doesn't matter where what city you're in. I mean,
think about your city with whatever it is that you're
living in, whether you're living here in Panama City, or
if you're living in Fort Walton Beach, or if you're
(01:02:25):
living in Gainesville or wherever it might be that you're at.
Think of the idea of one hundred National guardsmen coming
in to do law enforcement. This is military. They hadea
military have any coming in. That's a scary thought. So
they're using it for fear rather than actually coming up
(01:02:47):
with solutions on how to fix the problem. And the
problem is stop being soft on crime, because every criminal
starts off small. Steal a little this, steal, a little
bit of that, break this, break that kind of beat
(01:03:08):
this person up a little bit, and then it elevates
to the next level because while I got away with that,
see what else I can get. I mean, that's that's
the criminal mentality.
Speaker 8 (01:03:18):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:03:18):
It's just like the the the murderers, you know, the
people that are violent murderers. It doesn't start off one
day where somebody wakes up and goes, I think I'm
gonna go kill somebody today. Doesn't start off that way.
Starts off with, you know, taking out frogs and ants,
works its way up to small pets and then works
(01:03:40):
the way up and then then you get this crazy
murderer that goes around. It's a proven facts. They've they've
studied this stuff. And when it comes to the violent
people in gangs and other things. It does start off
with stealing something, going up, grabbing something away from somebody,
going up, holding him a gun point, knife point whatever,
(01:04:01):
stealing something. Then it gets to the point where it's like,
you know, I could shoot somebody because you got me mad.
That's a big deal. Nothing's gonna happen to me. And
then the crime just gets worse and worse and worse.
And we've seen this, but what we don't see is
the Democrats cracking down on it and the Democrats. And again,
(01:04:21):
whether you're a progressive or a Democrat or an independent
or Republican, everybody should be able to open your eyes
and see that what the Democrat Party is doing. And
this is the other thing too. I want to clarify
this because I should have clarified this a while ago,
but I haven't. It's not Democrats, it's the Democrat Party
that is the problem. And I think there's a lot
of Democrat voters that need to wake up and say, yeah,
(01:04:45):
this is enough, no more of this. Patt you killed
a spider yesterday's see, you're on the way. Before very long,
we're gonna have a refrigerator full of college students. That's
where it all starts, telling you. But the soft one
crime thing is where all of the problems happened. What's
every key you watched when in soft in crime in California?
(01:05:06):
You know some criminals that they they crime right below
the line just to get it red. Yeah, I mean
that's what they do, is they do it right below
the stuff. But then they figure out what they can
get away with. I mean, look at it in New
York City when the migrants, the illegal migrants came into
the city, they beat the crap out of a bunch
of cops. The cops, the people that are supposed to
(01:05:26):
be the law enforcement to arrest you when you do
something bad, and they get arrested, they walk in, get
a picture taken, get a sandwich, and then they walk
out double barrel, signaling the country as they walked free
and left the city to go do whatever they wanted.
And it's like what precedent does. Not only does that
said to them, but to others when they look and go, man,
(01:05:50):
if you can get away with beating up cops, think
about the things I can get away with, get away
with all kinds of stuff. Now this is fantastic. And
again it's all the Democrat ideology. And aside from the
problem being them, the other problem is that the Republican
Party doesn't stand up to talk about this, to point
(01:06:14):
this out, to call them out for what they are
doing to America's population. I mean again, Donald Trump, he's
not doing much for the red cities and states. Everything
that he's doing is targeting towards making the blue cities
and blue states better. And they're flipping out over it.
Just a sad state of times that we're in. All Right,
(01:06:34):
we got to take a break here. Coming up in
a second, don't forget. Coming up a little while, we're
gonna bechatting with Bill waltsmor The Bill Walton Show plus
Tim Nurse Nasari. I screwed up. I know, I screwed
it up from the Washington Examiner. We're gonna have him
on the show as well. Don't forget. You can check
out the show at Brian Russshow dot com and on
Floridamanradio dot com as well. Hang on, we will be
right back. Good morning, Happy Thursday. Thanks for checking us out.
(01:06:56):
Be right back, all right, welcome back to the show.
Good Martin, Happy Thursday. One more day away until the weekend,
(01:07:16):
and of course tomorrow it's gonna be a big day.
I just saw this post on x from Tima, Obama.
Tomorrow's the big day with the summit with the Putin
and Donald Trump, which is going on in Alaska. Now,
I know this audience is smart enough to know where
(01:07:38):
Alaska is and what Alaska is part of. But it
came Jeffries posted I'm prepared to meet with President Trump
upon his return from Russia. It's Alaska. It's not a
(01:07:59):
US terror. It is a United States state. It's one
of our states. It's one of the fifty states. You know,
the flag stars on it, the nation, the lower forty eight.
And you got Alaska up here and Hawaii down here.
(01:08:23):
Which I know that that actually might come to a
shock to some people, by the way, and it really
does to some of the left, that Hawaii and Alaska
are not right next to each other. Oh my god,
yes it is. Don'd you ever look at a map, stupid,
It's like right there, they're on the bottom down there,
Alaska and Hawaii. They're over there by Mexico and south
(01:08:45):
of California. I want to say, that's a joke. And
I just want to be sarcastically funny about that, but
it's not. It's true. I've seen people do that. But TIMO.
Obama is saying that he's prepared to meet with President
upon his return from Russia. There are several issues to discuss,
including the Republican failure to lower the high cost of living,
(01:09:07):
and they're devastating cost to healthcare. Let's get at it. Well,
I mean, all right, I'm gonna give him some credit
about the fact that you know, he's now at least
willing to get with Donald Trump on things and to
bring up a few topics. But you know, this is
the one thing that I hope that Donald Trump actually
looks at him and says and goes, well, you know,
the cost of living has actually gone down in a
(01:09:30):
lot of areas, or at least categories, and in a
lot of areas in the country, and a lot of
like the red cities, Red states, we've seen a lot
of that kind of go down. But it seems like
the only area where the cost of living is really
still high happens to be, oh yeah, right there in
all the blue states and blue cities. So the question
(01:09:51):
that I guess we should ask you timu is, why
if the policies that I am doing as the President
of the United State is lowering the cost of these
things in certain areas of the country, why is it
not doing that also in the blue areas? Because none
(01:10:12):
of the stuff that I'm doing as the President of
the United States is specific for the red cities in
red States. It's for everybody, And yet you guys are
not you guys aren't catching up. Why would that be.
Why is it so much more expensive in California? Why
(01:10:33):
is rent so high in New York City and the
cost of everything in New York City is so high?
Why Why does it cost sixty seventy thousand dollars a
year to be able to live in a halfway decent,
small one bedroom apartment in Washington, d C. Why why
is that? I mean? Huh? And then the devastating cuts
(01:10:56):
to healthcare, because you know, we look at the healthcare costs,
you know, because we're spending a lot of money in healthcare,
and we look at that and go, why are we
spending so much money on healthcare? Team Obama, Oh, it's
because people who are able bodied workers, who should get
up off their fat ass and go get some work,
(01:11:18):
are sitting around at home playing video games and not
working and living off of the government paycheck, which is
essentially taxpayer money. And we told them, go get a job, chubby,
go get a job. You lose your get up and
go get a job and be responsible for yourself. And
(01:11:38):
then on top of that, we also look at it
and go, oh, we have a couple of million illegals,
people who are not actually citizens. Yeah, but they pay taxes,
so they should have it too. No, they shouldn't. We
take them off of it too, because they shouldn't be
on it. Why this way we can focus on Medicare
(01:12:03):
and Medicaid and Social Security and stuff like that, on
the American citizens who actually deserve it and need it.
It's not that we are doing devastating healthcare cuts. We're
taking people off of the roles that should not be there.
I mean, come on, this is not rocket science. It
(01:12:27):
should be a fairly easy one to be able to
figure out. But the Left can't. And again because it's
a fear factor. They love to throw the fear factor
in there. By the way, some new statistics for you.
Since January, the United States foreign born population has now
decreased by two point two million people. It's that big
(01:12:51):
evil Donald Trump kicking them out, not wanting to be inclusive,
not wanting to welcome people from other countries, because he's evil.
Two point two million were down and he's just getting started.
That was not that we're not a nation of immigrants,
because we are. We're welcoming to immigrants. We just don't
(01:13:15):
want all of the people that are here illegally to
be here causing the problems. There's a system, there's a law,
there's a way that's supposed to be done, and that's
how it has to be. Democrats don't get it. They're
flipping out. By the way, the other one that's flipping
out is Adam Shift. You know that that guy is
probably shifting his pants right now, and it looks more
(01:13:38):
and more like they are going to actually go after
him for the whole mortgage fraud thing, which in addition
to the mortgage fraud thing, this is one of the
other things that the courts should be looking at and
the Senate should be looking at as well. The Senate
should be looking at this and saying, okay, now, let
me get this straight. You're claiming that the Maryland residence
(01:14:02):
is your primary residence, and that's what you did in
order to get the special interest rates and everything to
buy the house there. Even though you're from California and
you're the California congressman at the time and now California senator.
(01:14:22):
If your primary residence is in Maryland, then that means
you're not a California residence. So therefore you should not
be a California Senator and the Senate should kick him out.
The Senate should straight up just totally kick him out
for falsely representing the state of California when you're not
(01:14:47):
a California resident. So I've got a condo in California, Yeah,
but your primary residence is in Maryland, So how does
that one work? Adam? But he's also saying that Donald
Trump is terrified of losing his majority in the midterms.
His solution demand Republicans in Texas redraw the lines. If
(01:15:09):
they're partisan redistricting succeeds, California must respond, and we will,
You mean they will, because you don't really you're not
from California, Adam anymore. You move to your primary residence
in Maryland, you know, the one where you committed the
mortgage fraud, But then again, if you didn't commit mortgage fraud,
then that would mean that that is your primary residence,
(01:15:32):
which means now, instead of mortgage fraud, you committed election fraud.
To say you're representing California, but you don't live in California,
live in Maryland. To see the problem that we got
to hear Adam, And I think one of the things
for Adam Shift right now is that he's realized, Oop,
I've been busted. And again, what do you do when
(01:15:55):
you get busted? You turn the tables, You blame Donald Jump.
It all it's all Donald Jump's fault. And that's all
there is to it. There's no other way of actually
looking at it. And I actually want to listen to
what he had to say. Hang on, let me let
me pull up his audio here, Adam Shift to Shift,
It's all Donald Jump's fault. Donald Trump is the worst
(01:16:15):
person in the world. He's horrible. Um, hang on, go ahead, Adam,
what do you got to say?
Speaker 7 (01:16:21):
So you're probably tracking this, but Texas wants to gerrymander
their maps again, do a mid decade reapportionment, and why
because Donald Trump is terrified he's going to lose the
majority in the House of Representatives, and they're going to
lose it because of that big, ugly bill that massively
cut healthcare for millions of people, that's going to dramatically
raise health insurance premiums, the food they took from hungry families,
(01:16:45):
the tax cuts they're given to rich people, the fact
they're going to blow up the deficit in debt. All
of that is so deeply unpopular. They're convinced they can't
hold the House unless they redo the lines in Texas
and try to grab more Republican seats, even though the
lines in Texas are already jerrymandered to elect Republicans. Now,
(01:17:05):
if they go forward with this, as it looks like
they will, California needs to respond. We need to do
our own mid decade reapportionment. It's sad tragic that we
would have to go down that road, but if Texas acts,
we have to act. Otherwise Californian's votes are diluted, we
have less influence because they're rigging the game in other states,
(01:17:27):
So we will have to go forward. I hope at
the end of this that we have a national redistricting
reform that ends the gerrymander all across the country that
would simply require an Act of Congress. We should have
done it during the first two years of the Bide administration,
and we damn well are going to need to get
it done in the future. But if Texas goes down
(01:17:47):
that terrible road, California will have to respond because we
have to look out for our interests and can't let
them rig the game.
Speaker 1 (01:18:00):
It's just pathetic, the double standard because, oh my god,
the same thing that we've been doing for years. The
Republicans are using our playbook. We've got to destroy Donald
Chump for it.
Speaker 7 (01:18:13):
Now.
Speaker 1 (01:18:17):
This is the exact same thing that the Democrats have
done for a very, very long time. And again, you
want to talk about jerrymandering, let's talk about Illinois. Has
anybody seen the district maps for Illinois? Explain that to me?
Explain that to me, like, I'm stupid, Adam. How is
it that districts in Illinois can literally be like pencil
(01:18:43):
thin and making different turns and bends and all over
the place, and then it gets big into an area
and then it gets thin to another area. Explain that
to us, all, like we're stupid. How does that work?
Because the way that you do your districts are supposed
(01:19:03):
to anyhow is that you're supposed to have about seven
hundred thousand people in your district. Now you take an
area like the Panhandle of Florida. Panihandal of Florida has
two districts CIT one CD two, and in the past
few years, the CD two specifically has shifted in the
(01:19:25):
way that it is. And the reason for why it
shifted a little bit more into Walton County, which it
didn't used to be that way and now it is,
so it shifted that way a little bit. And then
it also took more of Tallahassee area, which actually got
rid of a Democrat district and it got swallowed up
into Republican districts. And the reason for it was not
(01:19:46):
that we went off and we jerry mannered it and
we didn't. We said, oh, well, you know, Tallahassee is
way too Democrats, so we should get rid of that,
or go what part of Tallahassee is more Republican, so
we'll draw the line right through the city. No, we
didn't do that. Instead, it was one of these things
where we said, okay, the population of Pensacola and the
(01:20:06):
population of Destiny Fort Walton Beach has grown. So because
of that, we have to shrink the size of CD one.
Got to bring the line over this way a little bit. Well,
that means that the CD two had to shift a
little bit. And you know what, CD two wasn't quite
that big. We need a little bit more area so
(01:20:27):
that we can make that seven hundred thousand people. So
we're gonna snag this area over here because if this
area here has got a tough people and okay, there
we go. Now CD two, you've got seven hundred thousand.
Now we gotta look at CD three and it's got
That's how we did it. Chicago, they literally drew lines
(01:20:49):
around neighborhoods or in now Chicago, Illinois, they drew the
lines around there and it's the most gerrymandered thing in
the world. And again, the Democrats have been doing this
for where do you think that jerry mandering came from.
It came from Democrats that were doing that. It was
Democrats that started doing all of this stuff. And it's
(01:21:10):
the Democrats that jerry mannder the living daylights out of
every single district that they can't every opportunity they get.
It's the Democrats that turn around and say, okay, well,
this is a black community and they're always going to
vote Democrat because we've got them under our thumb. So
we need that black community and to hear so that
we can have the power and we can get the votes.
(01:21:31):
That's how they've been doing it for the longest time.
And now that the Republican Party is turning around and
doing something not really similar, but they're drawing the district
so that you know, the Republicans can get represented correctly,
and they throw their temper tantrum. Always accuse your enemies
(01:21:53):
of what you are doing to create confusion. They take
that that serious. I mean, if you ever really truly
want to know what the Democrats are doing, how they're
doing it, why they're doing it, you have to do
things like read the Rules for Radicals, read the Marxist Agenda,
and you'll see it. Everything that they're doing is in
(01:22:14):
those books. And it is about Marxism. It's about the
communism and the socialists, how they do their stuff, and
it's all through fear. Now with any luck, and and
I've said this before, I'm on the fence on this
one about the whole thing with Jasmine Crockett. If the
(01:22:35):
districts get redrawn like the like the Texas Legislature wants
to do. It looks like Jasmine Crockett will actually lose
her seat. I'm not sure if I like that or not,
because if there's anything that is a great selling point
(01:22:56):
for the Democrat Party and their failure and how they
don't deserve to be in leadership, it's her. I mean,
maybe afterwards she'll continue with her drama show, kind of
like Stacy Abrams did, and she'll go out there and continue.
I was really elected, but Donald jump forced me out.
(01:23:16):
Because Donald jumps mean and evil guy and wheelchair boy.
He hates me too. So that's the reason for why
I'm really the congresswoman. I mean that the girl's a
train wreck. She really truly is, and in a lot
of ways she kind of does need to go. But
the idea of keeping around, you know, you can't make
(01:23:37):
a better marketing tool than Jasmine Crockett for why you
should not vote for Democrats. But then, like I said
a couple of times this week, already, don't be so
freaking out about, Oh, we're losing a district or we're
losing all this. Get in there and tell the republic Pulicans,
(01:24:00):
why you should vote for a Democrat. Look, this audience,
I can guarantee you that the vast majority of this
audience is going to be a hardcore Republican, hardcore conservative.
And the idea of any of you guys saying, ah,
you know what, I could probably go Democrat if the
right people were in there, slim. But there's a lot
(01:24:25):
of places in the country and a lot of people
who are on that center Republican level that could vote Democrats,
that couldn't sway over a little bit if a message
was given properly, and Democrats they're good at the messaging,
and rather than all those bitching, get out there and
(01:24:46):
tell me why to vote for Democrats, while why should
I be a Democrat? Sell me what do you got?
I'll give you a minute, gather your thoughts.
Speaker 6 (01:24:56):
What do you got?
Speaker 1 (01:25:00):
See they got nothing right now. I mean, the Republican
Party does have a message, and they've come out and
they've said, hey, this is the reason for why you
should vote for Republican because they were for the economy,
were for the rights, were for all of this stuff
it and laid it all out and people finally said, yeah,
you're right. We need to get out of this and
we're gonna go. We're gonna vote for Donald Trump. Can't
stand the Donald Trump. I don't like the man, but
(01:25:22):
I'm gonna vote for Donald Trump. We're gonna go Republican.
That's the redirection we're going. So if the Democrats, if
you're so confident that you guys are what is best
for America, convince America, convince us without the need to
redistrict and redraw on all this other stuff. Just simply
convince us that you're the best for it. All right,
(01:25:44):
Coming up after the break, we're gonna chatting with Bill
Walton for the Bill Walton Show. Stand by for that,
don't forget that. You can also grab the podcast for
the show at the bridrustshow dot com. Hang on, we
will be right back, all right, Welcome back to the show.
(01:26:08):
Good morning, Happy Thursday. Thanks for checking us out. Tomorrow
is the big day, the day of the summit in Alaska,
and I want to welcome back to the show Bill Walton.
He is the host of the Bill Walton Show. You
can check him out on his podcast and his website
and anything.
Speaker 6 (01:26:27):
Bill.
Speaker 1 (01:26:28):
Welcome to the show.
Speaker 8 (01:26:28):
How you doing, buddy, I'm doing well, I'm great talking
with you. Nice. Nice to be back.
Speaker 1 (01:26:34):
Yeah, absolutely, I'm glad that you're here because we got
we got a lot to talk about. Tomorrow is gonna
be a big day and this this may actually be
a pretty historic event and day going on. We obviously
the Russia Ukraine War has been going on for a while.
This has been something that Donald Trump has wanted to
end for a while. And we're seeing the big summit
that's going down tomorrow in Alaska. And again, I got
(01:26:57):
to remind those that don't understand this, because this is
a we had a left these that don't get it.
Alaska is part of America. Uh, And we need to
remind Timu Obama Hakim Jeffries that it's he's not going
to Russia. He's going He's staying in America. Because even
Timu thought he was going to Russia. Is a sad
state of our politics when the majority leader doesn't realize
(01:27:19):
that the president is staying in your own country. But
I digress, But what are some of your thoughts build
about what's what what we're going to see tomorrow? How
historic do you think of this as event as going
to be?
Speaker 8 (01:27:30):
Well, I think it's it's hard to imagine a bigger
deal because we've got four four entities coming together, the
United States obviously, and Russia and Putin or not is there,
and then we've got the EU and and Zelenski who
are not going to be in the room when they're talking.
(01:27:53):
And it's very unusual for a heads of state, you know,
US talking with the Soviet or in the old days,
or Russia or China to be one on one. And
I don't know how the I don't know whether they're
literally going to be one on one with nobody else
in the room. They're going to have to have translators
for sure, but it's uh. Normally, these these meetings, you
(01:28:16):
get their staff, their papers, their pre negotiation, their papers,
and the leaders are sitting in the room with forty
other people, and so it's very hard to do anything.
It's very personal. And I think what Trump wants to
do is bring his New York real estate deal skills
to bear and get to feel potent out And the
(01:28:41):
thing I to keep in mind is that Trump never
thought this war should have happened. I don't need I agree.
I agree with him about that, and we you know,
we were awfully were NATO. This whole NFE notion of
bringing Ukraine into NATO was a non starter with Putin
and the Russian said that repeatedly for eight years, and they,
(01:29:03):
you know, joking with my trends. We were, you know,
remember when the tanks are rolling up in twenty three
years ago, three and a half years ago, they signaled,
they said, look, we have things we want. We do
not want Ukraine in NATO, and we said pound sand
And he took him three months to sort of finally
(01:29:23):
finally attack Ukraine. There's lots of signals, lots of diplomacy
that could have taken place, and the EU wouldn't would
wouldn't abide that. So here we are, and the developments
in Ukraine are that they're losing. And it seemed inevitable
from the start, given the relative size differences. But I
(01:29:45):
think there's a lot of military changes on the battlefield
just in the last week or two, and that's probably
on purpose, because Russia is not, as the it was,
always had a capacity to bring more to bear, to
make to move on the battlefield, and they're doing it
(01:30:08):
right now. And so the Pudins there are sitting there
having sort of won the war uh, and yet the
European Union is saying Trump shouldn't give them an inch,
don't give them a single square inch of Ukraine's land,
and we don't you know, they don't really hold any cards.
You got. You got a situation where the Polish had
(01:30:30):
the head of Poland it says there's a red line
and absolutely they are not allowed to take any any
of the Ukraine. Now, now, what does Poland have to
do with all this? Because yeah, there you know that's
so there's a lot of unreality, I believe in the
EU's position and in Zolensky's position, and it puts Trump
(01:30:52):
in the middle trying to trying to make a deal.
Speaker 1 (01:30:56):
Yeah, what kind of a deal you think is going
to come out of this, because, like you said, he's
going to go in there with his New York real
estate kind of attitude that he's had. But I'd love
to get your thoughts on this as well, because it
seems like Donald Trump is a much different leader this
time around than he was before. And right now he
is on very solid ground. He's got a very different
(01:31:17):
attitude and very different approach to things than he did
when during his first administration. And what kind of a deal.
Do you think we're going to get out of this,
because obviously Russia wants to keep certain parts of Ukraine
that they've had, and there's other areas that they want.
Ukraine doesn't want to give up anything. What do you
think they'll get out of this?
Speaker 8 (01:31:37):
Well, I think Russia. I think Trump is not going
to be able to make a deal that the EU
will agree to, nor Zolenski will agree to, and he
doesn't have a lot to trade that that trade. And
of course, this is this is not a board game.
This is this is not just a land deal. I mean,
(01:31:59):
we've got people on both sides, Russian Ukrainians and this
has been an ugly, ugly war with lots of atrocities
and reports of torture and all sorts of uh, you know,
things like that. But it's not just the Russians doing it,
it's the Ukraine's are doing it as well, and it's
been something where they've they've they've gotten very deep into
(01:32:22):
into hating each other, and in particular, the Ukrainians field
a lot of that way now. But then Putin has
got a situation where I'm sure there are people in
the Kremlin that don't think he hasn't been tough enough
that he hasn't really brought everything to bear that he
could bring to bear, and they wanted up the game
(01:32:43):
to take to take more of Ukraine. And then he's
got the Russian people, who I think generally support this war,
but they've seen a lot of people killed, and they're
people exiting Russia because they don't want to be part
of the war. And so he's got pressure to wrap
this up as well.
Speaker 7 (01:33:03):
Uh.
Speaker 8 (01:33:04):
I think my guess is Trump could go into the meeting,
and you know, new Gang Ridge said it predicts that
it could be a two minute meeting. He could he
could walk in and and you know, I've been you know,
my background is privately, you know, the deal business, mergers
and acquisitions and private equity, and I you know, it's
(01:33:26):
not unusual that you go visit somebody to talk with
them about a deal and they present you something that
you really absolutely cannot agree to. So you just get
up and say it's been great spending it's five minutes
with you, but you know, I'm leaving. And so that's
one possible outcome. But then the other, I hope I'm
(01:33:46):
not getting making this too complicated. We've got a lot
of other things we want to accomplish with Russia, namely China,
and we pushed you know, this war has pushed China
and uh and Russia together, and we we need to
care that we pull Russia somewhat away from China. And
then we also have Iron to deal with and Russia
(01:34:09):
can play a role in that. And so we've got
a lot of interest beside Ukraine. And Ukraine was never
it was never a strategic issue for the United States.
It's hard, it's hard to believe how we let this
war happen. It didn't have to happen, and it was
just a piece on the chessboard to some of the
(01:34:31):
some of the people in the State Department, and they
pushed us into this thing. And now here we are.
And I think I think he may come out and
announced he's got a deal, and then the European Union
will will not agree to it, Zelenski won't agree to it,
and Trump would say, well, the United States is exiting
(01:34:51):
this and you guys settle it on the battlefield.
Speaker 1 (01:34:53):
Yeah, good luck, because without us, you're you're going to
be in trouble. And you know, we also have some
history when it comes to to Russian and some people
may may have forgotten about this that you know, back
when when when Reagan was president, you know, he had
his moments of they walked in and nope and then
turn around, walked right back out and then force them
back into the negotiation table. So this would not be
(01:35:16):
something new with Russia in the US relations. But you're
right too that like one of the big things that
I think a lot of people are trying and miss
with this is the the China and Iran thing and
US trying to drive that wedge in there to get
them out of the way. I mean, the Ukraine War
is really more just of an a nuisance than anything else,
because that's where the big problem is for US is
(01:35:38):
is the the the the Iranian situation and Russia. But
then for Donald Trump it's even worse because now he
he's got to drive that wedge there. He's got to
get Russia on our side without Russia being on our side,
because if it's on our side, then you know, he's
gonna be the the Russian Putin puppet. And you know,
(01:35:59):
all of the backlashes gonn come from the left. It's
it's it's going to be a hard one for Donald
Trump to win, especially on the on the the image
front with when it comes to the left.
Speaker 8 (01:36:09):
Well, he's got Trump's also got to deal with the
neo cons here, right, And you know Bill Crystal and
you know Newland was at the State Department when they
were pushing this war. He's got Lindsey Graham, He's got
all sorts of people here, and there are people that
get on TV and say extreme things about you know,
(01:36:30):
we've got to win this war and defend Rush, defend
Ukraine at all costs. It's it's you know, it's helping
us spread democracy around the world. Well, we've been allows
the democracy promotion. I mean, how well did we do
in Iraq? How well did we do in Afghanistan? How
well did we do in Vietnam for that matter. I mean,
(01:36:51):
we've got a very bad track record of coming in
and so and this is just one in a long
line of of of blunders. And you know, if you
want to be strong in the world, you don't engage
in wars that you can't win. And that's what that's
what we let happen here.
Speaker 2 (01:37:09):
And so.
Speaker 8 (01:37:13):
The backlash of Trump, you know, comes up with something
that the neocons don't like, and the New York Times
doesn't like, and for that matter, of the Wall Street
editorial page. I mean, he's got a lot of a
lot of a lot of people, uh, you know, with agendas,
and and he's not going to be able to satisfy
them all. So you know, my guess is we we come,
(01:37:35):
we don't come away with the deal, and or he
comes away with the deal, and and and the EU
and and and Zolensky won't accept us, and and there
we are. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:37:47):
Of course that also makes you wonder too how much
he cares what the U N or the EU or
even some of the neo cons actually think, because I
mean Dom Joung has been very clear about this. I'm
not taking any sides. I just want to die to stop.
And and like you point out, I mean there's a
bigger agenda here other than the Ukraine War. The uk
war is just more of a nuisance kind of in
(01:38:08):
the way it's really the China and around thing that
needs to be taken care of more than anything.
Speaker 8 (01:38:15):
Well, it's you know, I've become a peacenick and all
these things. I didn't when I was like younger, I
didn't feel that way. But now I think that, you know,
war is really something that you got a void at
all costs, and we could have done that here. I
know Trump feels that way. It must have stopped the killing.
Speaker 2 (01:38:35):
But I think.
Speaker 8 (01:38:38):
Think about Europe. Europe, we think of Europe of the
old Europe in a major power player in the world, stage, colonies,
that sort of thing. That's not the Europe that we
have today. It's a it's controlled by Brussels. And we think,
we think Washington, d C. Is tough boy be ruled
(01:38:59):
by brot. I mean, they have regulations about the size
of bananas that you can sell. And you know, they're very,
very woke and very green, and they've they've taken their
energy capacity and in an effort to go when the solar,
(01:39:19):
they've shut down all the hydrocarbons they could, they've eliminated
cold or they've shut down nuclear pants And right now
I believe that Europe consumes about oh, I don't know.
So there's a technical term thirty four something of amount
of energy and they produce five and so they're dependent
(01:39:41):
on the rest of the world for energy, and energy
is the key to everything, and energy. Energy drives an
industrial base and they've dismantled their industrial presence. And then
and in industry drives the weapons you can create. And
so Eurepe really has no nothing, nothing to uh to
(01:40:03):
play with, and it's all self afflicted and there's going
to have to be there will be some interesting books.
I guess there's one book called the Strange Death of Europe.
And so when we think about the players at the
negotiating table, Putin is already developing arms that lickety split,
(01:40:25):
and he will continue to do that. He'll only get stronger.
And so this this war has had the effect of
wrecking the status quo in Europe. And you know, a
diplomacy gives us, gives us these kind of results. Trump
trying to fix that.
Speaker 1 (01:40:43):
Yeah, it'll be very interesting to see the results of
Europe and how they will respond because I mean, like
you said, I mean, they've got no eggs in the
basket whatsoever when it comes to this, and and if if,
if they want to try and dictate things, and we
just tell this that one's going to be and then
and we walk away from it and give it to them,
you know, and obviously it will end things for Ukraine
(01:41:05):
in a not so good way. Especially if we stop
the military support and financial support. And and like you said,
Europe doesn't does not. Europe is very weak, and I
think a lot of people don't realize how weak Europe
really truly is and how much they are dependent upon us.
And and yeah, it'll it'll be not so good for
Europe should they decide to not get on board with
(01:41:27):
with ending this conflict.
Speaker 8 (01:41:30):
Well, I think Trump ought, let's if it resolves itself militarily.
My guess is Trump the Putin does not want all
of Ukraine. He wants the east. He wants the area
called Dombask, which is mean the east, and he's already
grabbed Crimea. And he makes the claim that these are
really Russian states and they speak Russian and they're only
(01:41:52):
part of the Ukrainian Of course, reality is it's it's
it's both. And yeah, the borders in Europe, the borders
all over the world are normally determined by the the
results of a war. And so if we ended up
with Ukraine some of the eastern provinces part of part
(01:42:13):
of Russia, and uh, we got to they got to
guarantee that we wouldn't push the rest of Ukraine into NATO.
I think Putin would probably take that deal and we'd
have to live with it. And then I think what
we ought to do if we do want to make
an investment, is we had to help Ukraine rebuild. And
that's you know, that's a that's it wasn't real country
(01:42:36):
used to be the bread basket of Europe. So there's
a big opportunity for us to do some good. But
it's doing good is not continuing this war.
Speaker 1 (01:42:46):
And of course the problem that we had to stop it. Yeah,
the problem to the rebuilding of Ukraine. We've already seen
this where some of the rather corrupt members of our area,
the One World Order kind of group, they've gotten their
fingers into that. So, uh, the level of corruption that'll
will continue, it's it's it's almost as if Ukraine is
the uh, the corruption center of the of the entire
(01:43:09):
world uh that we're in. But it's going to be
interesting to see what comes about from things tomorrow. And
we're talking with Bill Walden for the Bill Walton Show,
and Bill, I want to ask you some of this too,
because obviously there's more going on than just the Ukraine War.
I mean, a lot of us have probably even kind
of forgot about it. But there's a lot going on
here in the country with all this jerry mandering. That
(01:43:30):
is this going on, or the alleged jerry mandering, the
redistricting in uh in places like Texas. What are some
of your thoughts on how this is gonna end up?
Because now California with Gavin Newsom, is talking about how
all we're going to retaliate by doing ours And then
the dumbest statement of all when Massachusetts, which all like
nine districts that they have or whatever it is, all
(01:43:51):
of them are Democrat and they say, well, we're going
to redistrict too, which I don't quite understand where Massachusetts
woul chimeing in. It was like the you know, the
fat kid in the corner eating cake going yeah, I'm
going to have some too. It didn't make any sense.
It's like, sit down and shut him for a second.
But the the overall outcome of this, what do you
what do you think? Because I mean, look, the Democrats
they can still win the House next year despite the
(01:44:13):
fact that they're falling apart. But what are some of
your thoughts.
Speaker 8 (01:44:17):
Well, I think the jerrymandering has been going on forever.
Speaker 6 (01:44:20):
And.
Speaker 8 (01:44:22):
Texas wants to step up and do it too. Is
you know the Democrats are you remember the old scene
in Casablanca where the police commissioners shut the got the
shut the casino down on the on the theory that
he was was, you know, he says, I'm shocked, I'm
shocked there's gambling going on here. And then a guy
(01:44:43):
comes up to him and says, here's your winning sir.
So we're yeah, I think we're playing his game of
tit for tat, And a whole bunch of a lot
of the country is already jerrymandered. And I haven't seen
an analysis which tells us where this ends. Where you can,
(01:45:03):
But if you look at the map of the United
States and you look at the counties that are red
and the harsh portions of a geographic that are read
which is Republican in the parts of blue, it's an
entirely red looking country. And so I think the Republicans.
I think the Republicans ought to be able to win
(01:45:23):
the gerry Mandarin contest. And if that's the game that's
being played, I don't think you can say, well, we're
above that. I think you've got to get onto the
battlefield and play. Could We've got a House of Representatives
where there are three competitive seats every two years, and
(01:45:44):
that's and that's the battleground, you know, and there's really
no you know, there are no grown ups to step
in here and intervene and say, well, we ought to
draw these lines, you know, according to geography and not
according to how people vote. I think it's just it's
just the latest in brass knuckling.
Speaker 1 (01:46:02):
Yeah, you're right. And then, of course, with the situation
in places like California New York where in the last
election there was a double digit shift to the right,
you know, some of the jerrymandering in those two states
might actually be a backfire. They might exactly, they might
lose more seats to the Republican Party just by saying, oh,
find we're going to do it too.
Speaker 8 (01:46:25):
Well. And a Trump gets you know, he wants to
make sure the Census Council only counts people who are citizens, right,
And a lot of those a lot of those states
got extra seats in Congress. And I don't know the number,
I think it's five or six. People analyzed it. It
wouldn't have won had illegals not been able to vote.
(01:46:47):
And so you know, if you get an election where
we have just citizens voting, that's a very different outcome
than we've got it wide open. Anybody happens to be
in the country and probably you know, came in illegally.
Speaker 1 (01:47:02):
Yeah. Yeah, it's gonna be a it's gonna be an
interesting world in the in the coming months between the
situation tomorrow with the summit, all the jerry mandering, and
then then there's the the DC situation. I get your
thoughts on that real quickly too.
Speaker 8 (01:47:16):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:47:16):
We're talking with Bill Walter for the Bill Walton Show
d C. They're they're flipping out. And it's funny because
as Donald Trump comes in and says, hey, we need
to do something about all this crime, the only people
that are saying there's no crime is the politicians. Like
the police are saying that there's crime. The people are
(01:47:36):
saying that there's crime, but only the politicians are the
ones that are saying there's no crime here. What are
you talking about? Where do you think we're gonna end
up with this?
Speaker 8 (01:47:47):
Well, the people say there's no crime, don't live in
d C. Yeah, start yeah, And you know, I'm an
I'm on DC Centric and would nearby and yeah, there's crime,
and the statistics have been they said, they say, well,
the numbers are going down, but those numbers are calculated
by people with a political agenda, And there's an awful
(01:48:09):
lot of non enforcement of crimes in DC. I go
to the gym early in the morning, and you can
drive down Connecticut Avenue and you you know, ten years
ago i'd see seven or eight squad cars patrolling in
an early morning drive. And now you go down and
you don't see a squad car and they've stopped. They
(01:48:31):
stopped policing. So there's an awful lot of crime that
goes unpunished, and so you can't really look at statistics
and say they're better. And maybe just that we're not
paying enough attention. I know everybody that lives in DC
doesn't feel like walking around in big chunks of the
city after dark. And I think you got it. In
(01:48:53):
this case. It's not statistics, it's antegotical proof that it's dangerous.
And I think Trump's doing the right thing. What I
don't understand, though, is that if he's only got thirty days,
I'm not sure what the what the next step is.
That's clearly not enough.
Speaker 1 (01:49:10):
Yeah, it's definitely without a doubt. I mean, he's already
done the statistic now about one hundred to rest within
the first like forty eight hours of all of this.
So they're obviously making some serious progress and building the
case for it. But Congress, they get back a couple
of weeks, they're going to have to do something about it.
Speaker 8 (01:49:29):
Well, Juliani and New York proved I lived there at
the time. He proved that. You know, the glass can't
remember the term. But if you if you arrest people
on minor, minor crimes, it has overall effect that's entirely positive.
And so you can with enforcement, you can change the
dynamic in a hurry, but you got to keep that
(01:49:52):
pressure on because you end up with what happened in
New York. He gets some bad marriors and it reverts
back right back to where you were. I mean, that's
one of the big issues in America, the governance of
big cities and how they really the mayors in charge
of them are not very interested in protecting its citizens
(01:50:14):
from a violent crime or crime against property.
Speaker 1 (01:50:17):
Yeah, and then when you get police chiefs like the
one in d C who doesn't understand what a chain
of command is which if you ever needed a commercial
for why DEI does not work? That sound bite is
it right there? You know that that that press conference
where even the mayor had to be like, oh crap,
get out of the way, let me let me take
(01:50:39):
this you who just embarrassed us all enough as it is.
I mean, that's that's it. It could probably be as
a classic.
Speaker 7 (01:50:46):
Was it.
Speaker 8 (01:50:46):
What was her title before she was chief? Wasn't it
something like a head of Yeah, some ridiculous of equity
head of Equity or something like that. I mean it
was she wasn't in crime. She was making sure the
police force you know, looked like the Rainbow Coalition. I
don't know, it's it was all about identity and not
(01:51:08):
about merit. Yep, yeah, yeah, she's something.
Speaker 1 (01:51:13):
Yeah. And you know one of the great things that
we're seeing now is is is the proof that identity
politics is failure. You know, every day we're seeing more
and more of it, and the Democrat Party is falling apart,
and you know, this is one of these opportunities that
Republicans really need to get on it and point that
out of all of their failures, because there's there's plenty
(01:51:33):
of them, and it's affecting the people on a regular
basis every single day.
Speaker 8 (01:51:39):
Well, one of the reasons I like Donald Trump. You know,
I worked for him in the twenty sixteen twenty seventeen transition,
so I was there doing Trump one point zero. And
the difference between that and the Trump we're seeing now
is extraordinary. He takes on every single issue, and he's
(01:51:59):
taken on DEI issue and rooted that out of uh
at least uh, he's starting to root it out of
the bureaucracy here here in Washington. And that you know,
hiring people on merit and not not letting identity, Uh,
you run the government. So he's but that's a that
was it seemed to be almost a third rail. You
(01:52:21):
couldn't you couldn't do anything about that because you'd be
a bad guy. And I think he's willing to take
the heat. And a big, big, big, big positive difference.
You can you can feel it here, Yeah, that you can.
Speaker 1 (01:52:33):
It's we're going in the right direction. We just need
to keep doing it. We need to be the warriors
to keep fighting. Uh, Bill Walton, you can check out
the show at the Bill waltonshow dot com. Bill. I
always enjoy our conversations. Thanks so much for coming on,
and we'll have you back on again to uh to
maybe review what happened, uh with all of this stuff
and everything else.
Speaker 8 (01:52:54):
Well, there's going to be second chapters and all this
interested to see how much we said with I think
we're Yeah, even if we're wrong, it's it's an interest.
They're all interesting topics and anyway, you're great to have
me on.
Speaker 1 (01:53:05):
So thank you absolutely, Bill Walton, thank you so much.
Have a fantastic day. We'll talk with you again really
sooner and again. You can check him out at Bill
waltonshow uh dot com. Uh. We got to take a
break here in a minute. But yeah, there's there's a
lot of good points that we're bringing up there, and
the fact that you know, the the summits gonna goes
down tomorrow. What's going to come out of this? What's
(01:53:27):
going to come out of it? And will it be
a situation where uh, the EU decides they don't like it?
Are they are they going to be all that upset
by the results of it. We'll we'll see what happens.
It's it's gonna be interesting to watch, uh, to say
the least. Now, don't forget that. You can check out

Welcome back to the show. Good morning, Happy Thursday. Thanks
(01:54:52):
for tuning in. And waking up with us today to
appreciate it, and we want to we want to welcome
to the show this morning, the Washington Examiner of Foreign
Affairs correspondent Tim de Rosie. Tim, how are we doing
this morning?
Speaker 6 (01:55:09):
I'm great.
Speaker 2 (01:55:10):
Thank you so much for having me.
Speaker 1 (01:55:11):
Absolutely, thanks so much for coming on. And it's great
because you're you're you're a real reporter, because like in
the process of getting ready for the interview, you even
you're out on the streets right now, so you had
to find that nice little quiet spot episode. You know,
if we get a little disturbance in the background, it's
because he's on the streets of Washington and you know,
getting out there and doing your stuff. But thanks for
(01:55:32):
coming on. You are the foreign affairs correspondent for the
Washington Examiner, and tomorrow obviously is going to be uh,
kind of like a kid in the candy store day
for you. With the situation going on with the summit
in Alaska between Putin and Donald Trump, and we were
just talking with Bill Walton about this situation. I want
to get some of your thoughts and inputs. What do
you think we're gonna see?
Speaker 2 (01:55:54):
Well, I mean, I think anyone that tells you that
they have a clear idea of what you're gonna see
is completely out of their mind. They're way over selling
their own expertise. I think people at all levels of intelligence,
at all levels of media, at all levels of government,
we are all purely speculating. This is both a big
breakthrough in the fact that they're sitting down face to face.
(01:56:14):
This is obviously a major step in the right direction.
But after a track record of Vladimir Putin, you know,
making promise, have to promise, alluding to progress, alluding to
some sort of future negotiations, the carrot, the carrot and
stick approach has been a lot more stick than carrot
from Putin. So you know, there's always the possibility of
(01:56:35):
since sort of change of part. There's always the possibility
that he might have finally reached like a praying point internally.
But anyone that tells you that they know what's going
to happen, I don't think that they actually know much
at all about about the possibilities.
Speaker 1 (01:56:47):
Yeah, it's going to be because there's there's been so
much that's also been leading up to this, between the
meetings that have been going on with Trump officials and
with Trump with other foreign leaders. One of those we're
talking with Bill Walton earlier about was with the EU
and how the EU is going to respond to some
of this. What are some of the insights that you're
(01:57:08):
seeing when it comes to how the EU is looking
at this whole situation because they get a lot invested
in it.
Speaker 2 (01:57:15):
Yeah, so the EU had had a sort of like
pregame pow wow with Trump. You know, in the past
have compared it to kind of like if you're going
in the fourth quarter against your rival and you know
it's a dead heat match. You know, you're going to
have a locker room, you know, sort of huddle and
you're going to go over strategy. You're going to go
over priority, You're going to go over sort of weak points,
(01:57:36):
strength and stuff like that. And that's really what Trump
had with the summit. He talked with the EU leaders,
he talked with Vilensky, he talked with the representatives from NATO,
the European Union itself, and he basically just seemed to
be getting feedback from from everyone that's in his corner
(01:57:57):
and in the US's corner, saying, Okay, I'm going I'm
the guy that actually got a table with Putin. I'm
the guy that's actually going to talk to the Russian leader.
You know, what do we what is our what is
our final sort of strategy going in here? And you
know Trump is his his popularity overseas, let's just say politely,
(01:58:19):
it ebbs and flows depending on his decisions, right, So
I think it meant a lot that coming out of
that meeting. Everyone seemed to be quite positive about it.
You know, the British Prime Minister Starmer, he actually, you know,
during the meeting, he made a stentinary said, you know,
we have been trying to I'm paraphrasing here, but he
(01:58:39):
basically said, we have been trying to get something accomplished here,
and Trump has managed to actually get put In to
the table and he seems very appreciative of that. And yeah,
the energy just seems good coming out of the European
the European corner so to be determined. I know that
(01:58:59):
there's a lot of fears about landswaps being unilaterally decided
by Trump, which is a Lindsay obviously was very skittish
and probably rightfully so, very skittish about that idea. But yeah,
now that like everyone has actually had their talk, everyone
seems to be quite you know, confident going in.
Speaker 1 (01:59:18):
Well, this will be interesting to see, you know, what
we get out of out of the summit. And you know,
like we were talking with Bill earlier, this could be
one of those situations where they walk in and two
minutes later they walk back out, kind of reminiscence very
much of of the the Reagan negotiations with Russia. Well,
this could be a long time. I mean, Donald Trump,
(01:59:39):
I think this time around, is a much different president
than he was before. Obviously, he's still his deal maker
and it's it's what Donald Trump wakes up to do
every day and excites him. But as far as the
way that he's become a leader this time around versus
the last time, this may present some interesting changes with
(01:59:59):
how everything's going on. Of course, you've got all people
like the neo cons and the others that are that
are kind of against the idea of ending the war
because you know, the military industrial complex is you know,
they're making tons of money out of this. But what
do you think is gonna And obviously everything is speculation
at this time, but what do you what do you
think we might actually see out of this?
Speaker 2 (02:00:21):
I think it's interesting what you said about, you know,
Trump seeing himself as a deal maker, because I think
that his fundamental mistake with Putin has been that he
seems to think, or at least prior to a couple
of months ago, seemed to think that Putin was like him,
that Putin was some sort of deal maker, wheeling and dealing,
sort of sort of pragmatic business negotiator. And that's just
(02:00:44):
simply not who Putin is. Putin is a silver tongue
former KGB master manipulator. And it seems as though Trump
has now kind of woken up to that fact. You know,
you had those comments of his talking about how I
think we had a great talk. I think we really
like made progress, and then I turn on the TV
and I'm seeing a possible get involve. You know, that's
powerful writeric coming from someone like Trump. And he's talked
(02:01:07):
about being that he's being tapped along by Putin. He's
talked about being disappointed in Putin. It seems as though
Trump always saw Putin as an equal and Putin never
saw Trump as anything close to being his equal, and
that seems to be an insult that has gone a
little too far. Now, what we can actually expect again.
As I said at the top of the interview, anyone
(02:01:29):
that tells you that they know what's going to happen,
I think is probably lying to you or they're delusional,
because this is a very very volatile and very very
sort of to be determined sort of sort of negotiation.
I do think that going in the White House has
made clear that the the temperate expectations and talked about
how this is a listening exercise for Trump. We've also
(02:01:53):
had Marco Reader talking about this is an opportunity for
Trump to look Putin in the eyes and that and
Ruby of himself said that they're going to know within
a very short window of time whether anything is going
to actually get done at that meeting based on how
Putin responds to him. You know, I think a lot
of a lot of policymakers and a lot of sort
of commentators have tried to say that Trump needs to
(02:02:17):
come in sort of guns blazing, no no time for negotiation,
no time for for long drawn out setting up setting
up times for meetings to make preliminary negotiations. It's got
to be boom, boom boom, this is what we're looking for,
and what they what they seem to be looking for
sort of their ultimate goal for this meeting specifically is
(02:02:39):
a ceasefire. If they can get a ceasefire before they
can begin negotiating, that signals willingness on Russia's part to
actually end the war. If Russa's starts to say we're
not going to have a ceasefire until x Y and
Z have been put have been put in place, and
x Y and Z are incredibly difficult geopolitical developments, then
obviously Russia as usual not interested in the ceasefire. So yeah,
(02:03:01):
I mean, the worst possible scenario, or maybe the least
meaningful outcome, will be simply Trump sitting down with Putin,
realizing that he's not serious, and they both go their
separate ways. The best possible and most productive scenario would
be Trump and Putin negotiating a temporary ceasefire as a
as a as the foundation for future negotiations, probably involving
(02:03:23):
a Zelenski.
Speaker 1 (02:03:24):
Yeah, if anything that's going to come out of this,
I think we might be onto the fact that that
it's going to see how Donald Trump is going to
handle Putin because of the fact that they are so different,
and you know, Donald Trump the one thing that where
everybody's got to give him credit for is that he
is not the same leader president that he was at
Trump point one point zero, and we have been seeing
(02:03:48):
this dramatic shift in how he is. And even though
he is that that baseline negotiator, he's starting to realize
that he's dealing with different type of people. And this
meeting is obviously going to be different than any other
meeting that he has had with Putin in the past,
because he's had some meetings, but I don't think any
of them have been as serious as this is. Because
(02:04:09):
you know, one of the things that Bill pointed out
in the last segment was this is beyond just Ukraine,
because you have to take into consideration the relationship that
he has built Putin has built with China in Iran,
which are clearly problems for America and a lot of
the world right now. So to see how this framework
(02:04:30):
gets laid out and how it's going to build the
relationship with Putin and Donald Trump going forward, what are
you thinking about when it comes to or what are
your hearing when it comes to the China Iran situation
with all this, because that's an element that we can't
leave out.
Speaker 2 (02:04:46):
It almost he can't leave out. But I think that
trying to bring it into this stomach is going to
be getting too ahead of yourself, because again, this is
a very narrow window that's been provided to Trump to
speak with Putin very specifically on one topic, and it's
about as good of step as you can get. It's
in Alaska on US territory that's you know, sort of
(02:05:08):
like culturally or historically linked to Russia. It's yeah, and
it's it's just this very clear moment of possibility. And
if you start muddying that with outside considering, not outside
longer term considerations, there's a very real chance to you
(02:05:29):
either frustrate Putin, you spook Putin away from any sort
of actual concessions he was willing to make, or any
actual negotiation she's willing to have, or you end up
bringing foreign powers into something that was supposed to kind
of remain just in the family between Russians and Ukrainians,
with Trump playing playing peacemaker. So again, I'm not downplaying
(02:05:50):
China ran or anything like that, but it seems like
right now it's almost like, let's not get ahead of
our let's not get over our skas on this, let's
just take this one negotiation at a time, one one
issue at a time. And I think what you said
before about this being different than Trump's first term, I
think it's absolutely correct. I think, honestly, he probably coming
(02:06:11):
in it seemed as though he has just sort of
learned the price of power, that there are scheming viziers
behind every behind the throne, that there are, you know,
people around the world that are offensively your allies, are
essentially playing nice with you, that wish you ill or
don't respect you. So this seems to be Trump's moment.
It's his to lose, it's his disease, his moment to
(02:06:34):
really reassert United States hegemony and and you know, sort
of cement himself. If he were to declare, if he
were to get a ceasefire today, I'm sorry, not today,
but at the summit, you're here to get a ceasefire,
he would be, you know, crowned to facto leader of
the world uncontested. He would sort of he would he
would re he would revitalize the American the American status
(02:06:57):
as the global uncontested super power that kind of calls
the shots worldwide. It's a huge ask, it's a huge.
It's a very lofty goal, but like the fact that
that's even on the table, I think does speak to
the fact that his mentality has never changed.
Speaker 1 (02:07:12):
Yeah, it really has, and it's going to be interesting
to see the results of this. Coming up tomorrow, we're
talking with Tim and the Rosie the Washington Examiner Foreign
Affairs corresponding. Before I let you go, Tim, because I
want to ask this one real quickly, because obviously this
is the the big topic, and you know it has
a lot to do with Donald Trump, and you're right
in the middle of it. The DC thing. I like
(02:07:33):
to hear what the people in DC are thinking of
of the takeover of the police force. What are you feeling?
Speaker 3 (02:07:41):
What do you hear?
Speaker 2 (02:07:43):
Well, I can onlyly speak to this as a as
a person, and not as a journalist whose they don't
cover DC DC politics and I don't cover crime. I'll
just say that, you know, I don't know anyone that
lives in the city that has not experienced some some
form of the violence or or harassment, or or just
general of bad behavior or threats in public, and so
(02:08:08):
I don't know. I was I was very thankful to
find out that this was finally being addressed. I know
everyone that you know, no friend group or community or
you know, works, workplace, has any less than two or
three people that in the last couple of months has
been in some way negatively interact with by some form
(02:08:28):
of criminal or vagrant or thug on the on the
metro or outside Union Station. And I actually Union Station
used to be sort of like the absolute highs of
crime in DC.
Speaker 8 (02:08:38):
It used to.
Speaker 2 (02:08:39):
I used to walk I get wings every every Wednesday
at a pub just nearby with friends, and for the
past several months, every time I go, I kind of
dread it because I know you're going to see people
passed down the street smoking, like just groups of people
smoking weed all over the place, you know, screaming for
fanities into the streets. I walked by last night and
it was pretty much all all good. I didn't I
(02:09:02):
really didn't see any like ABNORMALI social behavior. I was
actually was pretty I felt pretty safe for the first
time in months walking around you stage, So for what
it's worse, I'm very happy with it.
Speaker 1 (02:09:12):
Oh that's good. I mean, it seems to be the
general consensus that we're getting and uh, you know, maybe
this type of action is going to work on Donald
Trump with the foreign affairs and the situation tomorrow. We'll
have to see what happens. I'm sure we're all gonna
be watching this very closely, uh, Tim and Rosie of
the Washington Example of the Foreign Affairs correspondent. Tim, thanks
so much for coming on and giving us your thoughts
(02:09:32):
of what's going on with all of that, and a
lot to see what goes down tomorrow. And I'm sure
you're gonna be writing all about it in the Washington Examiner.
Speaker 2 (02:09:41):
I will thank you so much having me back anytime.
I really enjoyed this.
Speaker 1 (02:09:44):
Absolutely, we'll have you back maybe soon after all this
is all done and and and kind of uh, you know,
recoup the thoughts on this and see, uh see what
happened and analyze it from there. Tim, thanks so much,
Stay safe there in DC, and we'll talk with you
again really soon. Absolutely, see you later.
Speaker 3 (02:10:03):
Bye.
Speaker 1 (02:10:03):
That's Tim Norosi, the Foreign Affairs corresponded for the Washington Examiner.
And big things going down tomorrow up in Alaska. This
is gonna be a big moment for Donald Trump. And
I know that a lot of people at this point
are really truly kind of putting in their two sents
of what they think is going to happen, whether or
(02:10:23):
not there's gonna be the negotiation where Zelensky loses land
or gains anything, or they just balance things out. And
I think Donald Trump's overall goal, without a doubt, is
to just simply stop the shooting and the dying and
the killing that's going on. That's Donald Trump's obviously his
biggest goal. But there is so much more to it,
(02:10:45):
you know, regardless to whether they get into it tomorrow,
setting up tomorrow for the potential of the future, whether
or not it's gonna be a situation where Donald Trump
is successful and laying down the groundwork of being a
strong leader and taking over as the de facto leader
of the world and putting America's power back to where
(02:11:09):
it was at one point, where we were the leader
of the world and we were able to say knock
it off, stop doing all of this, and what will
it do to set up the China relationship? And I
think Donald Trump is in kind of a weird kind
of place because he has to build this relationship with
Russia because they are an element to the future and
(02:11:31):
an element to the peace in the world. And if
he can maintain a good relationship with Russia to the
point that they don't need China and that we can
somehow eliminate some of the stuff that's going on with
Iran and keep everything good. It's good for the world.
But the problem is the left. If Donald Trump is
successful with this, they're not going to look at it
(02:11:52):
as successful. They're going to look at it as Donald
Trump and Putin our buddy, buddy, Putin is in Donald
Trump's pocket. Because what's gonna happen if if Donald Trump
is successful at being able to end this war, not
just come up with a peaceful ceasefire that lasts for
a little while, but end it and both sides go
(02:12:14):
their own ways and everything is over with and it's done.
You have things like black Rock, you know, who wants
to get into Ukraine to do all the rebuilding. There
will be the corruption level there. You've got the neocons
who want to continue with the war. You've got the
military industrial complex, which, by the way, they're making a
ton of money because of Donald Trump anyhow, because Donald Trump,
(02:12:37):
he believes in these the peace through strength, And you're
not gonna get peace through strength unless you have a
super strong military. So he believes in that the military
complex should be okay, But you know they're gonna push
against this because now they won't be able to make
more money with the conflict going on in the Ukraine.
So there's a lot at stake when it comes to
this summit that is going down tomorrow in Alaska. And
(02:13:01):
again there is also the significance of the fact that
it's in Alaska, and and you know, sometimes it's those
fine little details that you don't really think about. Alaska
used to be a territory of Russia. So to bring
putin to an area that used to be Russia's, and
and to to lay the groundwork for all of this,
(02:13:23):
this is symbolic this. This could be a very big thing.
We'll have to watch a lot of this tomorrow obviously
as it goes down, and we'll talk more about it
next week on Monday when we come back from the weekend.
But big things going down, and this could shake up
a lot of stuff in the world. We'll just have
to wait and see. Don't forget to check us out
at the Brian russshow dot com. You grab podcasts of
(02:13:44):
the show, also links to all of our guests as well,
and of course listening to us right here on the
Florida Man Radio Network across the state of Florida and
around the world, around the country on the app. We
got to take a break. We'll be right back. Good morning.
Oh that's right, all right, welcome back to the show.
(02:14:07):
Good morning. A big thanks to UH to Tim Rosie
and Bill Walton coming out talking a little bit about
the situation with the UH. The summit going down tomorrow
in Alaska with the Russia's Putin. It's gonna be very
interesting to see what happens there. And of course, you
know some of the things in the news about how
Russia UH did make a big military advance. We talked
(02:14:30):
a little bit about that too. Is that a negotiation tactic?
Maybe it might be, because look, Putin is not going
to enter this situation without feeling like he is presenting
a toughness that that straight up he's not gonna do it.
He he has to be the tough guy. He's got
to be the one that is going to come in
to be on tom and and the question is gonna
(02:14:51):
be how is Donald Trump gonna handle it? You know,
like like we pointed it out with with Tim, you know,
it is a big difference between the real estate developer,
the deal negotiator and the hardcore you know guy that
uh that that Putin is. You know, Putin is not
(02:15:12):
a negotiator. He's not not the guy that that we
talked about how to build another hotel. Donald Trump is
a great negotiator, but he is looking at a whole
different kind of thing. And this, this situation is different
this time around as well. Uh So we'll see what
happens with that. And and tomorrow tomorrow being a fa
heata Friday, and I love it a lot of the ways.
(02:15:33):
We should do a fajeata Friday at your local Cracker Barrel.
Speaker 3 (02:15:36):
You know what.
Speaker 1 (02:15:37):
Hang on a second, where's the menu that? Let me,
doesn't Cracker Barrel have fajitas? Because if they do, what
is this this store? I don't care about the store.
I want to see. I'm gonna eat. Let's see, because
if they've got if they've got hang on a second,
if they've got fajitas on there, that destroys the narrative
(02:15:59):
of of of that woman from U Bravo. You remember,
with all of you, all of you MAGA supporters, you
can't enjoy America's culturalism instead, you should be you should
be going off and you know, just going getting your
fat ass to to Cracker Baire is what they said,
she said, But fajitas. I thought that they had like
(02:16:21):
a fajita thing something. Hang on, I'm looking at the
menu because if they do, that would just be hilarious
to do that tomorrow. I mean, even if you do
it on your own, if you just go by yourself
and be like I'm going by myself, I don't care.
Where would that be? Would it be like sandwiches any more? No,
you wouldn't put fajitas under sandwiches. Does anybody know in
(02:16:42):
the chat does does Cracker Barrel have tacos or fajitas?
I'm looking, I don't. I don't see, and I could
be wrong, But if not, I mean, what a great
idea for them to just do anyhow, I mean, think
about that. If Crackerbarel is at all, so you're gonna
(02:17:03):
send anybody over here but not, okay, well we'll do
some fajidos or Taco Friday or Taco Tuesday. That would
stick it to them, It really would. As long as
they stop trying to redecorate Crackerbail, you can't do it.
I can't find it on the menu, whether or not
they do or not, but either way it would be
a lot of fun. All Right, we gotta go, We
gotta get out here. We'll be back tomorrow for the
Fahida Friday. It'll be a big show tomorrow. We will
(02:17:26):
chat with you then, see you later. Bye.
