the podcast and listening to the podcast all around the world.
Thank you so much for tuning in. We do appreciate it.
Yesterday was a bad day. Yesterday was a bat I
thought I was actually kind of having a rough day
(02:25):
yesterday myself personally. Just about every little goofy issue thing
that could go wrong was kind of going wrong. It
was kind of a frustrating day. Had a couple of
little things here and there. Ended up mowing the lawn yesterday,
sweated out at least three hundred gallons of water. I
think I may have actually lost five pounds in water
weight yesterday. Walk into the garage and look up and
(02:49):
the return vent for my air conditioning system fell down.
So I spent at least a half hour or so
use a lot of choice language to get it back
up into place. And I'm hoping that it is still there,
didn't fake the air conditioning at all, which is a
good thing.
Speaker 6 (03:08):
But yeah, it was just one of those.
Speaker 5 (03:10):
Frustrating things on top of some technical things that I've
had all week and a little bit. Yesterday, I personally
was thinking to myself, man, what a craptastic day today is,
And then it all started to happen, and we're talking
about the Democrats. The Democrats yesterday had such a craptastic
day that it made my day yesterday look absolutely like
(03:34):
nothing went wrong, and my issues that I had, which
were miner to begin with, were even more inconsequential compared
to the horrible day that the Democrats had yesterday. Now
I will give them one thing to be able to
make it so that they'll stop crying completely, and that
(03:55):
is yesterday a judge, a federal judge again, a district judge,
I know, but again this time it actually does affect
a district so it's not a national thing. But the
US district judge, Kathleen Williams here in the state of Florida,
had basically ruled that Alligator Alcatraz has got to be stopped,
(04:17):
and it has sixty days to.
Speaker 6 (04:19):
Shut it down.
Speaker 5 (04:22):
They are claiming because of environmental issues. All of a sudden,
now the left is starting to get into environmental issues.
There's been a couple of lawsuits that have happened, and
you know, environmental groups have started going. Plus one of
the Indian tribes in the area started going saying that
the construction is affecting the environment, and on and on
and on and on. So now allegedly they have to
(04:44):
shut down Alligator Alcatraz, move everybody out. According to the
district judge, the state of Florida has basically said, screw you,
We're gonna appeal it and they'll continue on that. So
we'll see what happens. But that is probably the one
and only good thing that we can give the Democrats.
I mean, listen, I want to give them something. I
(05:04):
want to give them something because I don't want them
to have a complete, full meltdown with all the other
bad stuff that happened to them yesterday, because there was
a lot. I posted this one yesterday shortly after the
ruling was done, and that is the ruling in Donald
Trump's case that he had that Leticia James took against him,
(05:26):
you know, the one where he committed fraud. But didn't
actually commit fraud, even though she committed fraud, but it
doesn't matter because she's above the law. But Donald Trump's
not above the law. So Donald Trump has to be
for it. Yeah. You remember the five hundred million dollar
civil penalty. Yeah, Well a judge, or at least a
panel of Democrat judges, decided that that has got to
(05:46):
be thrown out. That has to be thrown out because
the five hundred million dollars civil penalty fraud is a
violation of Donald Trump's Eighth Amendment constitutional right, which is
interesting because that is typically a right that is reserved
for criminal cases. It is basically your right to avoid
(06:10):
cruel and unusual punishments. So a panel of judges, which
by the way, ninety percent of them were Democrats, came
out and said, yeah that, Yeah, that's no bueno. It's
not gonna work out for us, So we're going to
(06:30):
vacate that. Now, it didn't vacate everything. It didn't throw
the entire case out, which by the way, is still coming. Eventually,
it's gonna happen that the case is going to be
completely thrown out. But the Left is there, they're melting
down over that, but they're trying to save face just
a little bit because I posted it, and then I
got a bunch of people that were like, you know,
(06:50):
that's not true that he still has this and they're
not taking everything away, and he didn't. I was like,
oh my god, give it a rest for just a second.
They can't handle it when they lose anything. And then
on top of it, and another thing that just kind
of added more to the left just kind of losing yesterday.
(07:12):
It was just with one thing after another after another.
There's a new study that came out yesterday, and of
course I posted this too, and yes, the leftist came
out swinging, going, what's your source? Oh, you're using fox News.
I used a graph, a graphic. It was a screenshot
from Fox News, and it talked about how the Democrat
(07:36):
Party has now lost four point five million voters to
the Republican Party as the support is completely hemorrhaging from
the Democrats. This new report that just came out has
now shown and this was done based upon voter registration data,
(07:57):
that the Democrats have I lost four point five million
voters over to the GOP and it's not good. And
of course everybody flipping out on the left and those
that were commenting on my page about it were giving me,
what's your storys Fox News? Now, actually, if you would
(08:18):
stop for just a quick second, catch your breath, take
a look at the graphic and see that it says
the source the source of this is the New York Times.
So the big bad evil Fox News use the source
of the New York Times to talk about the four
(08:41):
point five million voters that the Democrat Party has lost
to the Republicans. Now, that is, by the way, just
the four point five that went to the Republicans. They've
lost an additional amount to just independent NPA. The Democrat
Party is losing support like you wouldn't believe. I mean,
(09:04):
even Chris Cuomo came out, Chris Clomo's coming out and
he's like, hey, look at this. Hey, you know, the
Democrat Party gets over. The party's over. Man, It's just
pack up that little ten two years and get out
out of here. It's not working. But the numbers are
pretty staggering. Of the thirty states that track voter registration
by political party, the Democrats lost ground two Republicans in
(09:25):
every single one of them between twenty twenty and twenty
twenty four elections. And often by a lot. According to
the report, the four year swing towards the Republicans adds
about four point five million voters and a deep political
hole that could take years for the Democrats to actually
(09:45):
climb out of. And I'm telling you, with what the
Democrats are continuing to do, they're not even going to
climb out of it. They're going to be trying to
climb out of it, but they're going to be burying
the dirt on top of them. But when it comes
to this, no states, red, blue, or purple were immune
to the trend. They were all doing it. It was
just across the board. So this is not one of
these things that the whiny left can come out and say, well,
(10:07):
it's because of the cheating Republicans in Texas. No, it
was happening in red states, blue states, purple states, all
of them, all thirty states, which I'm surprised that there's
only thirty states to do this, but only the all
thirty states that track their voter registration by the political
party all had a huge swing to the right. Now, again,
(10:32):
this is one of these things that the Republican Party
wake up, take advantage of this, get out there and
use that more. Use that to your vantage, get out
there and start talking to these new people that came
over because they can't take the other side anymore. But
all un told, the Democrats lost about two point one
million registered voters between the twenty twenty and twenty twenty
(10:54):
four elections in the thirty states, including by the way, Washington,
d C. The remaining twenty state voters that did not
register by political party. Republicans gained about another two point
four million. That brings it up to the four point
five million. Many of the big states, like California California
(11:19):
registered voters by party, while many red states, including Texas,
do not, so the numbers of nationwide registered voters by
party doesn't really tell the full story, according to the report,
but in those thirty states with partisan voter registration, Democrats
eleven point edge over Republicans on election Day twenty twenty
plummeted to just over six points. And it's going even further.
(11:43):
And of course, the fact that the Democrat Party cannot
get their act together, it's getting worse. I mean, look
at what's going on right now with all of the
fights against Donald Trump, the immigration fight, the crime fight.
The Democrats are on the wrong side. They're completely on
the wrong side. And I don't mean the Democrats as
(12:04):
in the voters. I'm talking about the Democrats as in
the party. They continue with some of the woke stuff.
Look at Cracker Barrel.
Speaker 6 (12:14):
This is another sign. And jeez, when I saw this, Sorry.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
I'm getting some of the bow in the yard yesterday.
I probably should have woren a mask because I've gotten
the cough thing. Hang on. You would think that right
now in this day and age, with with a trend
that we've been seeing with going woke go broke. It's
not just a slogan. It's not just a Republican thing
(12:42):
or something. It's a reality. When all of these companies
that went woke, they ended up going broke. They would
lose millions and millions and millions of dollars. Now, one
of the big things that's been talked about for the
past couple of days is the rebranding of Cracker Barrel. Now,
Cracker Barrel has never been one of my favorite places
(13:04):
to go. I'll go every now and then when I'm
kind of forced to, but it was never really my choice.
But when you go there, you anticipate the old time
country cracker barrel kind of thing. The old man up
on the side of the barrel neks to it. And
you go into the country store and you see all
the country store kind of stuff, and you go in
(13:25):
and you have your alleged country food eats. Now, one
of the reasons for why I just don't go there
very often is because, quite honestly, I think the food sucks.
So if there's anything that you wanted to do to
improve the restaurant to make it better, make the food better.
Like the last several times that I've had biscuits and
(13:46):
gravy there, it tasted like they scooped it up off
the floor and threw it onto a plate. If the
biscuits were the gravy was bland as all get out.
It just looked like it did grab some lard out
of a can and threw it on.
Speaker 6 (13:57):
It was gross.
Speaker 5 (13:59):
So I have not been impressed with the food there
in a very long time. So if you want to
improve something in a restaurant when things aren't going well,
change your food instead. The woke CEO of Cracker Barrel
turns around and rebrands the stores, changes the logo, removes
the cracker. We can say that because they're in Florida,
(14:20):
that removes the cracker, removes the old guy, removes the
barrel and just changes it to somebody put in the
best It looked like a Walmart clearance sticker is the
new logo. Then on top of that, they go in
and if the store hasn't done it yet, we're near you,
it will be soon. They take out all of the artifacts,
(14:43):
like and that's the cool thing about Cracker Barrel. As
much as I don't like their food, the cool thing
is that when you go in there, you'll see all
the artifacts, the historical things, the old country time stuff
all over the place. It was a neat part of
the decor and they change it out to just be
this black and white interior that is as about as
bland as their biscuits and gravy. In the one day
(15:09):
that this has taken, a one day, Cracker Barrel has
now lost ninety four million dollars. So for a restaurant
chain that was struggling a little bit trying to get
more people to come into the restaurant, you've lost ninety
four million dollars in a day. Since then, people have
(15:29):
been taking to social media and saying no not going there.
People have actually gone in to eat, did a few
videos and did their reviews and said it's not the same.
I'm not coming back. Many other people taking to social
media saying I'm not happy with the wokeness of Cracker Barrel,
never going there again. So in the one day that
(15:51):
they implemented all of these these new changes, which is
the rebranding, which you didn't need to rebrand.
Speaker 6 (15:58):
I mean, if you're going to rebrand.
Speaker 5 (15:59):
A a country country restaurant where it's like you're eating
the country food, you don't make it modern. I mean,
that's that's just freaking common sense. And yet with the
woke because of the fact that you know, they didn't
want it, and I'm sure there was a woke reason
behind it too. I'm sure there was something about, oh
(16:20):
my god, all this other stuff. It just reminds us
of the old days of slavery and stuff for the
country because we can't do that. But ninety four million
dollars lost in one day, most of America saying yeah,
I'm never going there again. You had the blue haired, tattooed,
pierced liberals that are out there going yeah, I'm not
gonna go there either. I mean, this has actually become
(16:42):
a nonpartisan issue, which of all things that need to
be nonpartisan, this is not. It a nonpartisan issue of
I hate the new Cracker Barrel.
Speaker 6 (16:52):
I'm never going there again.
Speaker 5 (16:55):
And again. All the the CEO of Cracker Barrel needed
to do just to change things. Improve the food. That's
all you had to do. Improve the food. The hash
browns black like I said, the biscuits said, gravy tastes
(17:18):
like something that you just scooped off the floor and
threw on a pan for you. The pancakes, eh, they
tried throwing in a couple of bougie coffee drinks, and
I'm a bougie coffee person.
Speaker 6 (17:30):
There just wasn't good.
Speaker 5 (17:32):
So putting a fresh coat of paint on the place,
changing the logo to look like a Walmart sales sticker,
that's not gonna help you any So I put out
the prediction yesterday that.
Speaker 6 (17:46):
Four months, what did I say? Four months?
Speaker 5 (17:48):
Four months and you'll start seeing stores close. Eight months
they will file for bankruptcy. That that is my prediction
on that We're just gonna I think that Cracker Barrel
will be probably gone within a year. But this is
the thing, you go woke, you go broke. So yesterday
(18:08):
the Dems, they really just did not have a good
day overall. Coming up on the show this morning, though,
we do have Tyler Gray's gonna be joining us. We
did reschedule him from the other day. He'll be joining
us in hour number three of the show, and plus
America and Views Boys will be joining us as well.
We'll see if we actually get Brett today. It's been
a couple of weeks since we've had him on, so
we'll see what happens with that. In the meantime, it
(18:30):
is Red Fridays, where we remember everyone deployed, whether they're
deployed internationally or around the country, like to Washington, d C.
And doing a great job there. All sponsored by our
friends at American Charlie Grill and Tavern right there at
the shops at Edgewater on Panama City Beach. Next time
you're in town or onto the beach, get on out
there and get yourself some lunch. You're gonna enjoy it,
I promise you. We got to take a break. We'll
(18:51):
be right back. This is the Brian Rush Show. Thank
you so much for checking us out on the Florida
Man Radio Network and on Rumblind Wimken. We'll be right back.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
Making liberals cry one happy show at a time. This
is the Brian rust Show.
Speaker 6 (19:14):
All right, welcome back to the show.
Speaker 5 (19:16):
Good morning. We've got a big show coming up today.
Speaker 6 (19:19):
Tyler Gray is gonna be joining us every.
Speaker 5 (19:21):
Scheduled from the other day, so you'll be joining us
in the third hour of the show today long with
the Voice from America in view.
Speaker 6 (19:27):
We'll have some conversations with them.
Speaker 5 (19:29):
I'm sure the conversation about Alligator Alcatraz will also come up.
And I don't know if anybody saw this, this is
how serious the State of Florida god with this, which
I have some questions about. First off, the State of
Florida has now extradited the truck driver, the illegal alien
truck driver, back to the State of Florida to face
(19:52):
the allegations of basically the homicide of the three I'm
gonna call a murder of the three three people in
the car that hit the trailer truck when this illegal
alien did the illegal U turn in the middle of
the turnpike. But he got so serious they actually sent
(20:13):
the Governor's jet like they didn't they didn't end up like,
you know, chartering something or get the US marshall. No,
they sent the actual governor's jet, the jet that the
governor of the state of Florida uses for transportation around.
Speaker 6 (20:30):
They sent that after.
Speaker 5 (20:31):
Him, and based on how I saw it, they didn't
let him sit in the comfy seats either.
Speaker 6 (20:37):
So good for them, they're bringing him back to face things.
Speaker 5 (20:41):
But you know, here's my first question, why was he
even let allowed to leave?
Speaker 6 (20:47):
That's my first question with this.
Speaker 5 (20:49):
The man did something where and he was accorded by
the Yeah, he was escorted by the lieutenant governor too,
But my question is he was allowed allowed to kill people.
He was an illegal alien. They knew this right away,
and of course this is the state of Florida. And
this is why it just blows my mind. They allowed
(21:12):
him to leave and then they had to go get him.
Speaker 6 (21:17):
Florida. Come on, who dropped the ball there?
Speaker 5 (21:22):
Why was this guy allowed in the first place to
leave the state of Florida. If we busted him after
the accident and found out that he was illegal at
that time and he was allowed to leave Los A,
go so splain him the door Just saying doesn't make
much sense. There but either way he is back here
(21:44):
in the state of Florida. He is going to be
facing the charges of I think his manslaughter. Was it
manslaughter or vehicular homicide. Either way, he's gonna he's gonna
suffer that. He's gonna go They're gonna go after him
for that, and then of course he will be deported
back to the car that he does not want to
be at. So we'll see what happens. Anyhow, don't forget
(22:06):
that you can you can watch the show every morning
right here on Rumble dot com and Wimken dot com,
Forward Slash the Brian Rust Show, and of course streaming
on the Florida Man Radio app and at Floridamanradio dot
com and of course at Thebrianrusshow dot com too. We're
gonna be redoing that website. It's going to be all new.
That was part of my technical nightmare that I had yesterday.
Hallow me time. I've been with GoDaddy for a very
(22:29):
long time, which by the way, I'd be very careful
about typing in GoDaddy because if you don't type it
in right. And I learned this one time. I only
did it one time, and I wasn't paying attention. I
thought I typed it in right, and all of a
sudden I looked up and I'm like, WHOA, that's not
a web provider, so be careful typing that in. But
I've been with them now for god at least twenty years,
(22:51):
if not more. They've been hosting my websites, and I
don't know, customer service has really gone just down the
tubes with them. I mean it's and of course they're
also doing the AI thing, so they get an AI
to help you out. And that wasn't fantastic either, kind
of a pain in the neck. Oh and the other
thing that happened to me yesterday, And I gotta talk
(23:11):
about this because well, Donald Trump is cracking down on crime.
There's something that I really truly want to see Congress do,
and I think it is we are way past due
for this, because I talked about this last week. Last week,
I had my credit card got hacked, and lots of
(23:34):
jokes about it, the funny jokes, because well, actually the
jokes came more this week than they were last week.
Speaker 6 (23:42):
And I saw what happened.
Speaker 5 (23:43):
My bank was actually pretty good about alerting me to
the fraud wider right away. They declined the payment. I
had to get a new credit card, you know. Thankfully
they got it to me, you know, next day, so
it wasn't that big of a deal. I had to
spend like an hour and a half, almost two hours,
contacting everybody that I had you know, auto pay things
(24:04):
with and changing different things, you know, on different apps
and all this other stuff and going through it. Yesterday,
while I'm sitting there at lunch at American Charlie's and
I was getting ready to i was pre celebrating my
Red Friday, I look over and I get another text message.
I'm like, you gotta be kidding me. It was another
charge for the same amount of money at the same
(24:27):
exact place in South Carolina. It's actually a ladies clothing place,
which look, we all love, you know, a good comfortable where.
I know I'm not shopping at a lady's clothing place.
I'm not buying any clothing for any ladies right now,
So that was definitely not But it ticked me off
because it was the same charge, same amount of money
(24:50):
at the same place a week later, on a different
credit card, and I'm just like, I didn't even get
like really angry, you know, when you get so mad
about something that you just kind of go okay, all right,
let's uh, let's go ahead and deal with this. Because
I knew what's coming, I was gonna have to spend
(25:12):
an hour on the phone with my bank, ten to
fifteen minutes of going through automation stuff before I actually
get a human being that can answer the question, which
I did do. It took me about seven or eight
minutes to finally get a human being on there explaining
the situation for them to go, oh, well, you need
the credit card fraud, not the the ATM card fraud.
I'm like, I thought, that's what I all right, And
(25:34):
she's like, okay, let me transfer you over there. She
goes transfer me over there, and I'm driving down the
street doing this, which is probably not a good time
to do that, and all of a sudden, the line
goes dead, got disconnected. I lost it, like it almost
was like a road rage. I got so mad called back.
(25:54):
It took me like another ten minutes to get somebody
on there. Finally I get somebody on there, and I
get to the fraud people. We're going through the whole thing,
work it all out, and it's all done, you know,
the bank, despite the fact that it's a pain in
the ass to actually get a human being. What am
I hiding from you? Let me tell you some out there,
(26:15):
you know what? Actually, I I just just out of
curiosity because I only looked at the I looked it
up really quickly just to see where it was from.
So I now I want to Now I just want
to see because they they claim that they're from one
of the web search that I saw real quickly, that
it's a it's a comfy comfy where it's a little
(26:37):
boutique up in North Carolina. So now I'm just curious
now that as you're saying that, I just am curious.
Oh hello, Actually, you know what, when I do have
somebody to buy some stuff for, now I can see
why somebody was buying stuff there. Mm hmmm mmmm okay,
(27:01):
all right, all right, I makes a little more sense
why somebody tried doing it twice. But anyhow, it all
boiled down to I should have looked that up. It
all boiled down to it ended up being that my
digital wallet got hacked. And I'm at this point right
now where I think Congress needs to step up on
(27:23):
this because this hacking stuff that goes on, let alone,
the whole stealing credit card numbers, and it's not quite
a Victoria's Secrets. It's like it's a it's a kinder, gentler,
cleaner kind of more innocent than Victoria's Secrets. If it
was a Victoria's Secret, I would have shut the show
off right now. And she looked at the website for
a little while. So I mean it wasn't that good,
(27:45):
but I mean it was. Yeah. So again, it was
my digital wallet that got hacked, which again that ticks
me off because when you go to Google's digital wallet,
it talks about like the very first thing that it
shows goes a safer way to do money. It's like, really,
do we want to talk about safety? And it ticks
(28:07):
me off because you remember about a week ago or so,
I had to go through the whole process of getting
a new cell phone, and with the new cell phone,
I had to have certain apps and emails and all
these other things that had to be authenticated using the
authenticator app. But in order to get the authenticator app
to authenticate, I had to authenticate the authenticator app through
(28:28):
the authenticator app, which I couldn't authenticate because I couldn't
get the authenticator app to open without authenticating it through
the authenticator app. Most frustrating thing that I have ever
dealt with when it comes to an IT security thing.
I was so furious dealing with that. But I had
(28:49):
to go through all that stuff, set all that stuff up.
Speaker 6 (28:51):
It was a pain in the neck.
Speaker 5 (28:52):
It was just simply you know, the email thing and
a couple of other things. It was not going to
be life changing and life altering. But you think that
I was trying to break into Fort Knox. It was.
It was just a pain in the neck. But it
seems like it's okay and easy to hack into this
type of thing where your money is at now. Again, thankfully,
(29:14):
my bank was good enough to catch this, was good
enough to block the payment. So it's not like I
had any money taken from me, and it's not like
I had to go through the process of getting money
back or anything along that lines. So I'm thankful for that.
But we are at a point now where I think
it is time to have some tougher laws. And I'm
talking about you know, the next time that you go
(29:35):
off and you hack something, you lose a finger, or
better yet, lose an entire hand of fingers, because you
think about the billions of dollars billions of dollars that
these computer hackers cause in damage and harm and lost
(29:56):
business and everything else when they get into somebody's comp
and the hack it. Now, I've had several computers that
have been hacked in the past, and it ended up
costing me a lot of money to either get the
computer fixed or to have to replace the computer. You
have the hackers that will go in and they will
do things like they will lock up all of your
your data and your information, and then they they want
(30:17):
you to pay you in like cryptocurrency or whatever, so
they they'll release your data. It's time to get tough
on it.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
It.
Speaker 5 (30:24):
Enough is enough if you if you're gonna be somebody
who's going to hack computers for that particular type of reason,
there should be a penalty. Lose some fingers, lose fingers,
lose a hand. And I'm not talking about surgically. I'm
tired about putting up on the chopping block and quack
and teach them a lesson because I personally am tired
(30:47):
of dealing with it myself. I'm tired of you know,
the the the Facebook stuff where where things are getting hacked.
I'm tired of, you know, the credit card stuff getting hacked.
I'm tired of all this other stuff getting hacked. I'm
tired of seeing things being hacked all the time. And
I'm tired of life having to be so difficult for
you as a user on things with triple authentications and
(31:08):
all these other things, which you know, while it's a
pain in the ass for you and I, these hackers
are just like whatever you think you've got encryption, you know,
I'll get right past that. And they do. And they
cost millions and millions of dollars to businesses and to
individuals by doing this stuff. So I think it is
time for Congress to step it up a bit and
(31:29):
say enough is enough and do some serious laws. You
don't even think they can find them a prosecutor. Well,
you know, here's the thing. I've got a lot of it.
People who do it security, like the high tech security.
Yes they can. As a matter of fact, you you
can literally bring it down to which floor, which bedroom
(31:50):
of a building in a place. You can actually do it.
It is entirely possible to do. And to be honest
with you, I would rather spend money on the people
who can go ahead and find them and stop them.
I mean, even if it is a reverse hack where
you know, we reverse hack back into them and destroy
(32:12):
their stuff by hacking them. I'm all for that too,
But there has to be some more punishment because this
is something that again, it costs millions and millions of
dollars for businesses when this happens, and there just seems
to be no consequences for it. And this is the
new type of crime. I mean, when you have money
that's taken away. And again, the credit card thing for
(32:32):
me last year last week took about an hour of
dealing with the bank. I was without my credit card
for little over twenty four hours. I know, it's so horrible,
but I use my credit card like every day specifically
for this stuff, because if you use your ATM card,
it's more of a pain in the neck to get
the money back and everything else. So I use my
credit card for just about everything, and I pay it
(32:53):
off quickly. But I was without a credit card and
then I get my credit card in and now I
have to spend like two hours of my day going
through I gotta activate the card. I gotta go through
all the different things that I use to pave with
the stuff and the autopay stuff and reputting, and it
was a pain in the ass. And now I've got
to do this whole thing again, and I'm gonna be
without a credit card for the entire weekend because I
(33:15):
won't get it until Monday. So it's just aggravating is
all get out. So I think there needs to be
tougher consequences, and I don't think it should be just
one of those okay, slap them on the wrist.
Speaker 6 (33:26):
No, no, no, no.
Speaker 5 (33:28):
I think if you go into things where you like
hack computers and you hold a company for ransom, there
should be a stiff penalty on that. Like I'm talking about,
lock your happy ass up in jail for ten to
fifteen years, because what you're doing is affecting society and
you're doing it in mass levels.
Speaker 6 (33:48):
And it just needs to stop. Congress needs to.
Speaker 5 (33:51):
Stand up a little bit for we the people and
make it stop, because again, if it was your ATM
card and you're going through this, it's even more of
a pain in the ass to get all your money
back and to get everything taken care of. It shouldn't happen.
And Google step it up for you guys too. Don't
go promoting that you know, the digital wallet is safe
when the digital wallet gets hacked into. I'm just saying,
(34:15):
not angry. I'm just riled up about it. Who needs
to get taken care of and needs to get done.
Here's something else. I love this story. This is funny.
We talked about it yesterday the Gavin Newsom podcast that
he was doing with all the the lib tard propagandas
that they have out there, it's a horrible thing. And
(34:35):
he made a new threat on the Siren podcast to
basically the approval of all the liberal hosts that were
on it, and one of which was our boy Hairbear.
The other one was Jojo from Jurors. You know, we
talked about them all the time. But when he was
talking with them, he said, you know, they were talking
(34:56):
about the about Donald Trump, and he said that this
guy's screwed around. He's not I mean, this is a
guy who literally celebrated the fact that Well Putin himself
said sir, you know mail in balloting is that's not
a not a I'm literally saying what he said. I mean,
this is a guy who's rigged all his elections putin
(35:20):
giving advice to Trump. Trump took it. I mean, what
more sensibilities do you need? And he goes on and
on him on, and he starts gapping on about Greg
Greg Abbott and you know, the the farce that's there
and the Republican Party and gone and on and on,
and then he just signs he wants to man up.
He mans up, and he says once again that we're
(35:42):
fighting fire with fire, which I wish one of his
people would tell him, dude, of all things, for you
to not say saying fighting fire with fire is not
the slogan that Gavin Newsom should be using, because we
don't take it serious. We laugh at you when he
does it. But he turns around and he's referring to
the Maga Republicans and he says, I'm going to punch
(36:04):
these sons of a bitches in the mouth. Oh oh oh, Gavin,
bring it, bring it. I want to see your feminine ass,
little tight jean wearing greasy hair self try and punch
a Maga Republican in the mouth. Oh my god, I'm
(36:28):
telling you, I know some Maga Republicans that if you
were to do that, there is probably no level of
security protection that you have around you that would prevent
your ass from being beaten to a point of your
dentist will have to come in and say, yes, that's Gavin.
(36:51):
I mean as the governor of the state of California,
who by the way, wants to run for president, is
now calling half of the country. And remember they just
lost a four point five million voters of the Democrat
Party to the Republicans, not just the Independence to Republicans.
And you say that you're first of you call us
(37:13):
sons of bitches, and then you say that you're gonna
punch us in the mouth. Oh, anybody want to go
to California? Seriously, anybody want to go to California? I
bring it a challenge, A challenge accepted. Come on, Gavin,
(37:34):
let's see what you got. Let's see you bring your
little skinny jean wear himself over here and slap us
in the face. You'll be on the ground so fast
you'll be crying for your mommy and a heartbeat loser. Anyhow,
it's a Red Friday, which Gavin Newsom tries that stuff,
it'll be a real Red Friday for him. But we
are remembering everyone deployed sponsored by a friends at America
(37:56):
Charlie Grill and Tavern right there on the beach at
the Shops at Edgewater. Stop on buy next time you're
in town and enjoy. We'll be right back.
Speaker 1 (38:10):
They say he's got good jeans. I'm just glad he's
wearing pants. This is the Brian Rust Show.
Speaker 6 (38:19):
All right, welcome back to the show.
Speaker 5 (38:21):
Good morning, Happy red Friday, where we are celebrating and
remembering everyone deployed, sponsored by our friends at American Charlie
Grilla Tavern right there located in the Shops at Edgewater
on Panama City Beach. Next time you're out on the
beach or next time you're in town, make sure you
stop on buying, get yourself a good meal. It'll be
much better than cracker barrel. I can guarantee you that.
I know that because they're not gonna change their decore.
(38:44):
They're not gonna change their logo to look like a Walmart,
a Walmart discount brand. It's not gonna happen. The food
is good. By the way, they got some new items
that are coming soon. I had a little conversation with
them about some of the new items. I always like
some new food. Fat Boy Happy Anyhow, welcome back to
(39:05):
the show. And I'm still I'm still trying to visualize
Gavin Newsom in my head getting tough, like can you
can you really truly imagine him going up to the
average Republican Donald Trump, maga's supporter, and first off calling
us an s ob and second off, trying to punch
us in the mouth. I know women, MAGA Republicans that
(39:34):
could beat him down to the ground. I want to
see it happen, I do.
Speaker 6 (39:41):
I want to see.
Speaker 5 (39:41):
I want to see Gavin Newsom put his mouth and
his money where his his ego is at and step
it up.
Speaker 6 (39:49):
Bring it.
Speaker 5 (39:50):
Come on, what do you got. I'm gonna slap you
in the face. Eh afraid to tear his skinny pants. Seriously,
Eddie House meeing to Gavin Newsom yesterday, he ended up
citing a bill which has become rather controversial, and a
lot of the Republicans in the state of California got
(40:11):
very upset about how they forced this through because you
remember democracy. Remember, Donald Trump is stealing our democracy and
if we don't stop Donald Trump now, we will not
have a democracy in the future. And he's destroying our
democracy now. For those of us that know, we know
what an actual democracy is. America is not a democracy.
(40:35):
We have a form of democracy, but we are not
a democracy. We're a constitutional republic, which is considerably different.
But in California, what they were doing was they were saying, basically, Okay,
here's the bill. Here's the bill that we're gonna do
for basically jerrymandering the districts in California. In a response
(40:58):
to Texas, know what we're gonna do is here's the bill.
Everybody read it. Okay, everybody read it. They looked at it.
They're like, eh, you know, okay, well we got a
little got a issue with this, but you know, okay,
we're reading it. And then all of a sudden, he
turns around and he's like, oh, by the way, here's
here's a bunch of amendments. This is a change in
the language. This is how we're gonna change this. Change
that change this. By the way, get inside.
Speaker 6 (41:19):
We're going to vote now.
Speaker 5 (41:22):
Like, wouldn't allow anybody to go ahead and read the
changes of the language, wouldn't read the amendment. Instead, they're like, nope,
we got to vote on it now, because remember we
must pass it to learn out learn find out what's
in it. So to me, that doesn't seem like a
very democratic thing to do. And if you're you're talking
(41:44):
about how Donald Trump is a threat to our democracy
and their keyword is hour by the way, not yours
and mine ours as in theirs, doesn't that seem a
little messed up that you wouldn't let people read the
bill when you change the languae and change the amendment
to it and you force a vote on it right away.
(42:06):
I hope the Republican Party is smart enough to challenge
this in court based upon the fact that they would
not allow the people the time to read the new
language and to read the amendments. But the so called
Election Rigging Response Act Jesus, which consists of bills that
were stripped out of their existing language and filled with
(42:29):
redistricting language to evade a state requirement that legislation wait
thirty days for approval. Now, who's cheating again?
Speaker 6 (42:43):
I'm try to keep this straight because I thought we
were told of the Republicans and Donald Trump were cheating
to steal the election. But you turn around.
Speaker 5 (42:54):
And you come up with this bill, You strip language
out of it, the existing language, fill it up with
a whole bunch of redistrict language and a bunch of amendments,
and you do it in a way that you can
avoid the requirement, the state requirement, you know, the rules
that you're supposed to follow that would require thirty days
for the approval, so that you have time to what
(43:16):
is that called again? Oh yeah, read it. But in
doing so, Gavin new some of the Democrats now set
aside the states, you know, basically independent Redistricting Commission, who,
by the way, came out just the other day and said,
you know, this isn't a good idea. And I'm sure
that the reason for why the Independent Redistricting Commission, which
(43:38):
while they say independent, we know it's very Democrat. Do
you know that they probably looked at it and said,
you know what, we just we're looking at some data here,
and registration data is showing that there's a lot of
Californians that are turning in to Republican and after the
(44:00):
twenty twenty four election, according to the study right here
that we're looking at, we took a double digit, almost
a twenty point lean over to the right that we
never had before. And according to The New York Times today,
with this new article, the Republicans just gained four point
five million. Democrats have come over. Maybe we shouldn't touch this,
(44:23):
maybe we should leave it as it is, because we
might screw this up and all of a sudden give
more Republican seats, just saying but nope, Gavitt and the
Democrats are like, it's got to happen now. We got
to do it now, because the Republicans in Texas are
cheating and Donald Trump, the dictator that he is, is
(44:45):
mandating this, and we've got to do it now. We
got to change it.
Speaker 6 (44:50):
Now.
Speaker 5 (44:50):
Of course, there's people that are leaving California like crazy,
which does another thing to their numbers, and that is
it reduces the number of seats they have in Congress
they've already lost and think it was it one or
two seats that they've already lost simply because the population
is leaving. By the way, another story that it came
out about California and you Haul, you Haul once again
(45:11):
having a problem with being able to get vehicles get
trucks into California because they're all fleeing the other direction.
Speaker 6 (45:21):
Before very long, I think U haul.
Speaker 5 (45:22):
Is going to probably have to add a recovery fee
to their trucks, or bring the price up a little
bit so they can bring their trucks back. Either that
or what's going to happen soon is you're going to
see riding down the rails. One day, it's gonna be
a rail of the flatbeds with nothing but U haul
trucks heading west, heading back to California, so the more
people can leave. By the way, California was another one
(45:48):
of those states where a large number of or Democrats
switched their voter registration to Republican just saying but with
this whole deal that gavinue is doing now and again
going against the redistricting Commission. Newsom has claimed for weeks
that he would only jerry mender of the districts in
(46:10):
his state if Texas did so. And even though Texas
did pass their deal the other day, it was like
an eighty eight to fifty two vote to do it
in the House. It now has to go to the
Senate before it actually becomes a deal. But automatically, here
we go. Gavin Newsom's like, we're going to do it
here in California, and again this could be a backfire
on them with the number of people that are leaving
(46:32):
the state with the number of people that are switching
over to the Republican Party, this may backfire. And with
all of the stuff that is going on in the
state of California and the things like the Palisades fired,
how he handled that, and all the other stupid things
that Gavin Newsom is coming out, he may force more
people to the right. And this could be just an
(46:54):
absolute disaster for the Democrat Party because what's going on
with them is that they are in such mode that
nobody is even thinking clearly, yeah, you're right.
Speaker 6 (47:05):
Even Schwartzenegger called him out. Govin Newsom, he's not very bright.
He's not a bright guy. He's kind of stupid.
Speaker 5 (47:14):
And when you have people like Swarzenegger, who's, you know,
kind of a rhino anyhow and kind of more of
a Democrat than anything, and he's calling him out, and everybody, dude,
you're not winning and you're not tough either. I got
to throw that one out. You're not tough, like I don't.
I don't think there's a single Republican on the planet
that goes, oh my god, oh my god. Gavin Newsom
(47:34):
said he's gonna punch me in the face. We're all
laughing at it. I mean, come on, but now with
the change, by the way, because I remember every time
the government does something, there's a cost to it. The
California voters will have a chance to vote on the
new map, whether it be an up or down, in
a special election coming up in November, which by the way,
(47:56):
is going to cost the taxpayers of California two hundred
million dollars. So two hundred million dollars of your tax
payer dollars in California so that Gavin Newsom can play
his games. And again there's no guarantee it's gonna work
out for him. This might actually backfire big time. And
(48:19):
then to add to things, we now have more Republican
states that are stepping up and going, okay, you want
to play, let me roll up my sleeves, let's play.
Missouri now the latest one to enter the whole chat
about redistricting. And this could blow up in Gavin's face
because now with Gavin wanting to redistrict, and they may
(48:42):
get five may darryl Isa's seat, by the way, is
one of those seats that is potentially up for redistricting.
But there's five different Republican seats that potentially could be lost. Now, remember,
with the way everything that's going on, there's a good
(49:03):
chance that those five Republicans, or maybe even half of them,
well let's go, let's go three of them, two or
three of them could retain a seat. And then you're
really screwed because now you redrawn the districting map and
you didn't win like you thought you were going to win.
And then you have places like Missouri who said, fine,
(49:26):
you want to play this game, we'll go ahead and
do it. We'll redraw our district as well, and we'll
take some of the Republican districts out, and we'll make
it so that we pick up a couple extra Republican
seats here in Missouri. What you got now, Gavin, I'm
gonna punch you in the face. And then we have
(49:46):
the state of Florida, the state of Florida, where we
have two little over two million more Republicans then we
do Democrats. We've picked up a lot more. We've got
a population growth that's going on here in Florida. We
turn around and we do a quick census here in
the state of Florida, we may find out because look,
(50:07):
our population has boomed and the number of people that
you're supposed to have is about seven hundred thousand people
per district.
Speaker 6 (50:13):
Now, if we were to do a.
Speaker 5 (50:15):
Census here in Florida and find out, oh, well, you
know what we've got, we got a lot more people
in certain districts. We're gonna have to redraw some of
our districts because well, CD whatever is more than the
seven hundred thousand, and this one's more than seven hundred thousand,
and that one's more than seven hundred thousand. We got
to add a couple we may be able to pick
up another seat here in Florida. And then what then,
(50:39):
what do you do, Gavin? Do you take to your
ex account or make another video and you know, try
and slam on on Rohnde Santis do another ad campaign
here in Florida to tell Floridians who like Ronda Santis
and like what we're doing here, that we're stupid. We
don't know what we're doing. Oh boy, this is you know,
(51:00):
I was I was worried about what direction the entertainment
factor of politics was going to be this year. And
it's just it's getting more and more entertaining by the minute.
You know, I knew that the Democrats that were going
to fight back. I knew that they were going to
play dirty, they were going to do all this stuff.
I did not anticipate. This was not on my Bengo
card to watch the Democrat Party implode like they are imploding.
(51:25):
I mean, when you have people again, you know, Art
Schwarzenegger being one of them, well, I gotta do some idiot.
You get him, and then you get what was his name,
the comedian, Oh, his name's escaping me. Now I can
see him in my face, and I can see all
of the nasty posts that he did. He was like
the biggest anti Donald Trump person, with the most foul
(51:47):
language in every one of his posts, and all these
things that he said about about Donald Trump. And then
all of a sudden he was like, wait, you know what, Actually, yeah,
he's He's not so bad after all. And then he
turned and became a supporter of Donald Trump's even though
he says it, I hate Donald Trump, but I'm supporting
Donald Trump. I mean, this is the problem that the
(52:09):
Democrat Party has that when you have people who literally
say I can't stand Donald Trump. I hate that man.
I despise that man, but I'm gonna support him and
I'm going to vote for him. That's when you know
you're losing. You're losing on a on a on a
level that is going to be destructive. And now with
(52:31):
the New New York Times report that came out regarding
the the voter registration, four point five million have now
switched over to just Republican. Now, remember, just because they're
talking about that, it doesn't mean that they're not looking
at the independence because there's independence too. You know, there's
Democrats that said, screw it, I don't know what to
be part of either one of them, and they go
to the Democrat the independence side. It's it's interesting, and
(52:57):
then you see what the Democrat they're supporting. You know,
right now, the fight that the Democrats have, they're not
doing it right now. But the fight that they did initially,
which was another reason for why they were losing the
twenty twenty four election, is their whole thing was to
protect the illegals, stop Donald Trump because he's a disaster
(53:19):
and he's going to be a threat to our democracy
and all this other stuff.
Speaker 6 (53:22):
Couldn't give us examples.
Speaker 5 (53:23):
They're just tell us, trust me, he's a threat, and
kill the babies that was all they had. They didn't have, Hey,
we can improve the economy, we can do all this
other stuff. I mean, they came up with those those slogans,
but after Donald Trump came out and said, Hey, here's
the things I'm going to do, and then they were like,
(53:43):
say it in different words. We're going to do the
same thing, just different words. And we all saw right
through it. And now what you have the Democrats doing
is not even remotely remotely considering the American people have.
The mayor of Boston, Michelle wou who now has by
(54:04):
the way, been voted given the incredible honor by the
Freedom Center to be one of the worst mayors in America.
Speaker 2 (54:12):
Now.
Speaker 5 (54:13):
I don't know if you saw the press conference she
did the other day. It was embarrassing. I hate to
admit that I'm from the state of Massachusetts. I really do.
When I see this type of stuff, I just look
at and go, you gotta be kidding me. But she's
come out and she has vowed to continue providing sanctuary
for the illegals in the state. Now it's not just
(54:38):
the illegals, Like I said, there's the whole thing. There's
a difference between you know, obviously the violent members, the
criminals that have come in. Yes, I know that even
though you're a decent person and you came across the
border illegally, you still broke the law, so you're you're
technically kind of a criminal. But there's a lot of
(54:58):
people that have come into this country who literally just
coming to make a better life that they want to
have the American dream. They just went about it the
wrong way. They're here not committing any additional crimes, they're
working hard, they're raising their families. I get it.
Speaker 6 (55:16):
Go defend them, all right.
Speaker 5 (55:20):
If the Democrats went and defended them and put up
the fight and said, look, these are good, wholesome people. Yes,
they may have broke the law to come into America,
but they just want the American dream. Since they've been here,
you know, they haven't done anything wrong. They've worked hard,
they're part of society. Let's support them, let's fight for them. Okay,
I'll give you that, but that's not what the Democrats
(55:42):
are doing. The Democrats are not doing that. Instead, they're
going off and they're saying, well, first off, when it
comes to just illegals in general, like Massachusetts, they're giving
thirty thousand dollars to a family to be able to
get them out of the hotels and stuff in all
the homes that they're putting them in so they can
(56:03):
go buy a home or find a place to live.
And then on top of that, giving them four thousand
dollars a month to live off of.
Speaker 6 (56:13):
Now, how about the.
Speaker 5 (56:15):
Massachusetts born resident who is struggling to get along? I mean, look,
Massachusetts has its bad neighborhoods. I mean Springfield, Massachusetts, Worcestern Massachusetts.
You know a couple of the other areas they're struggling communities.
There's a lot of people that live below the poverty
line that are born and raised in Massachusetts. They're families
(56:38):
born and raised in Massachusetts. You're not helping them, but
you're helping those who came to the country illegally, and
you're gonna give them thirty thousand dollars a year, or
thirty thousand dollars initially and then four thousand dollars a
month to get get to be able to survive. And
how fair is that? I mean, I'm surprised, honestly that
the residents of Massachusetts have grabbed some pitchforks and some
fire and started to, you know, charge you the cap
(57:00):
Capitol building.
Speaker 6 (57:02):
But on top of that, Michelle.
Speaker 5 (57:04):
Wou now said that she's basically gonna Boston's not gonna
back down, she said, and she's trying to invoke the
history of the American Revolution when it comes to this,
and even mocking white people. She's Asian, I mean, Michelle
Wou who would have thought. But it's not going over
(57:25):
so well. And in the Boston area, in the Massachusetts
areum since since Donald Trump kind of took her over
in June alone, are you ready for this? In June alone,
one thousand, five hundred illegal alien criminals across the state
of Massachusetts, including several rapists and a few child rapists,
(57:50):
have been arrested by ICE, including some that were operating
in the city of Boston, Massachusetts, where the mayor, Michelle
Wu who is saying, we're gonna protect all of the
illegals that are here, including the ones that ICE is
coming after. Now, ICE is done coming after the families.
(58:11):
If they happen to be gotten caught up in a
in a in a raid, then yeah they're going but
that's not who they're going after. They're going after the
criminal element. And Michelle who's going to defend that?
Speaker 6 (58:26):
But she said that, uh, what was that?
Speaker 5 (58:30):
She said in a in a in a version of
her speech of the segregation today, segregation tomorrow's speech, which
could basically be summed up by saying that harboring illegal
aliens and rapists today and harboring illegal aliens and rapists
tomorrow's speech is what it is being compared to. But
she said the Boston will not back down. But it's
(58:52):
not Boston here. It's a bunch of radical leftists who
have basically taken over Boston and they are shielding the
human monsters that are going on here. And there's a
big difference between Boston and the illegal aliens that are
being harbored by Wu. And now, by the way, there
is reports that there's a good chance that ICE and
(59:15):
Homeland Security may go arrest of Michelle Wou, which I
think would be fantastic.
Speaker 6 (59:20):
Go do it.
Speaker 5 (59:24):
But a lot of people are taking to social media
and saying that they're not happy with this and showing
a lot of not very favorable opinions of Michelle Wu
when it comes to that, as she's standing up for
foreign rapists and killers. That's what the Boston Globe had claimed.
Speaker 6 (59:45):
I mean, when you.
Speaker 5 (59:45):
Have your leftist rags that start going after you because
of what you're staying, I mean, come on, now, the
people of Massachusetts, they really, truly do need to stand
up and say enough is enough. I mean, listen, I
lived in Boston for a while, and Boston is a
tough city, a lot of tough people in there. And
(01:00:07):
I can't imagine that these people are okay with Michelle
wou putting illegals ahead of them, giving the illegals all
the money that they're giving. But that's what's going down.
And then you've got the fight for Medicare. And we've
talked about this before with how you know the uh
(01:00:30):
was it like four million or whatever it was that
got taken off of Medicare and Medicaid and all this
other stuff. And a lot of them were the able
bodied workers, the able bodied workers who should have been
able to get up and get yourself a job, support yourself,
and take care of yourself. But there was nearly two
million illegal migrants that were also taking Social Security, Medicare,
(01:00:53):
and Medicaid. And as the Trump administration gets in there
and tries to clean this up, to make sure that
this is a benefit to the American people, that this
is a benefit to grandma and grandpa, you know, because
remember this is this is the message that we get
that Donald Trump is taking away Grandpa's Social Security and
(01:01:14):
his Medicare. When Grandpa can't get his medicine and grandpa dies,
it's Donald Trump's fault. It's not what Donald Trump was doing.
There was no there's no reducing of the benefits. They
basically said, hey, we're gonna cut this money out of
it because this money was going to illegals. So if
(01:01:34):
it was going to illegals, then obviously the money doesn't
need to be there because we've got the money to
take care of the people that are supposed to be there.
So we're going to leave that money there and take
the other stuff away. And what does the left do.
They flip out saying, oh my god, they're taking away
all your benefits. No, no one's going on. And the
(01:01:54):
Trump administration announced it's some stricter oversight on the non
citizens receiving Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program benefits. And
of course what happens with this, The left comes out
and says, see, Donald Trump hates the children. He hates
the kids, but they centers for Medicare and Medicaid services,
(01:02:15):
the CMS, and the Department of Home and Security along
with the Department of Health and Human Services getting involved
in this. And it's going to be an oversight program
that was launched a few months ago with some new
rules implemented under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which
got signed into law on July fourth. They basically said
that we are tightening oversight and an enrollment to safeguard
(01:02:36):
taxpayer dollars and guarantee that these vital programs serve only
those who were truly eligible under the law. The program
aims to ensure Medicaid services only to those who are eligible,
but state resistance and lawsuits by complicant the enforcement. So again,
(01:02:57):
when the Democrats sit there and they tell you that
Donald Trump is taking away your benefits, it's not. It's
the state that may take away your benefits. Because what's
going to happen is the states are going to say, no,
we're going to still give it to the illegals, and
we're going to say, well, you don't have enough money
to give that to the illegals, and the federal government's
(01:03:18):
going to go This is all the money you're getting,
because this is the money that is needed for the
people that are eligible for it. And if you go
off and dip your fingers into that pot and give
it to the illegals, and you have to cut the
expenses and the care for those that are eligible. This
is another thing that we're Republican Party has got to
be on when it comes to messaging and to cover
(01:03:39):
that message. It's not the Donald Trump administration that's cutting
your benefits, it would be the states that would be
doing it. Now, Red States don't have much to worry
about with that because we'll follow that law. We will
tell the illegals, no, you can't have those benefits. Sorry,
thanks for playing go home. But again, the Left, they
(01:04:00):
continue to twist in turn and make everything just completely backwards.
And the sad part is the people that fall for it.
I mean I see it all the time. I see
the people that literally think that Donald Trump is taking
away their Medicaid Medicare. Because this is how the Democrats work.
(01:04:20):
They work off of fear. If they can't get you scared,
then they're not doing their job. Just once, I would
love to see the Democrats actually come into an argument
with some logic with a decent idea and make it work,
which they just can't do. Instead, the only way that
(01:04:41):
they can have the power over you is to scare you.
And if you are in a situation where limited income,
you need your Social Security you're getting a little bit older,
you're having some health issues, you need your Medicaid and
medicare you need to be able to get your medication. Yeah,
you're you're going to be a little bit fearful when
(01:05:02):
you keep hearing the message over and over and over
again that you're going to lose those benefits, and when
you hear over and over again that you're going to
lose those benefits. But then the Democrats come riding in
and go, don't dirt, I'm here to help you. Even
though they're the ones screwing it up. People will go, oh,
thank god, because we keep hearing that Donald Trump and
(01:05:23):
the Republicans are going to take away all these benefits
and I can't afford that. I need my medication, I
need my Social Security check. And you don't have the
Republicans getting out there and saying, hey, wait a second,
this is a bunch of bs. You're being lied to.
Because nobody likes being lied to. When you find out
that you've been lied to, oh you get angry. And
(01:05:44):
that's what needs to happen the Republican Party everywhere, not
just the national level, but all the local and the
state parties. They need to be getting out there and
getting that message clear to our older group of people
and even to the younger people who might be worry
that grandma and grandpa are going to lose their benefits,
and make it clear about what's going on with it,
(01:06:05):
because if you don't, this is how the Democrats win.
And I said this before and I really mean it
that with all of the crap tastic things that are
going on to the Democrats, they can still win the
House next year because they are so good at the
messaging and so good at the fear factor that they
will win. Despite the level of crap tastic that they are,
(01:06:28):
they'll win. And keep in mind we are only a
couple of seats into a majority. It doesn't take much
for them to win this back. And this is why
we have got to have a big fight for this
and stop it from happening. Today again, it is a
red Friday where we remember everyone who is deployed, including
all of the people that are deployed to Washington, d C.
(01:06:49):
To make that city safer. Congratulations to you guys who
did a great job. It's all sponsored by our friends
at American and Charlie Grill and Tavern right there in
the shops at Edgewater in Panama City Beach. Head on
out there, by the way, if you live in town
in Panama City, it's a quick hop right over there.
If you come to Panama City Beach, make sure you
stop there and get yourself to the need. We'll be
right back.
Speaker 1 (01:07:11):
Ow making liberals cry one happy show at a time.
This is the Brian Rust Show.
Speaker 5 (01:07:23):
Apparently I'm making them cry already this morning. Jeez. These
people have got to really find something better to do
with their time. So I came across a post on TikTok, which,
by the way, I don't know if anybody saw this.
The White House now has an official TikTok page.
Speaker 2 (01:07:37):
Yep.
Speaker 5 (01:07:37):
So the post came up and said there should be
a mandatory law for police officers a four year degree
along with a pre law path and additional training specific
for law enforcement. It would fix so much problem. It
would fix so much problem. You know what else would
(01:08:01):
fix some problems learning how to write and not breaking
the law. I almost wanted to do Jim Carrey impersonation there,
stop breaking the law, hole, But that's exactly what I said.
I was like, or hear me out. You can stop
breaking the law. If you stop breaking the law, then
(01:08:25):
you wouldn't have the problem with police having to go
after you. And you like every time I watch you know,
I love watching the police videos where they go after people,
they rest people, they do the chases or whatever. It's
like you see these people and the look it's a
it's a natural reaction. And it doesn't matter the degree
that you have. You could have a doctorate in law enforcement,
(01:08:49):
and it's it's not gonna change things because there is
a natural I don't know what do you want to
call it. It's just a natural desire of you that
when somebody is running away from you that you're trying
to stop, and somebody is ticking you off because you
know you're breaking the law and you're not stopping for them,
(01:09:10):
there's a thing that comes up inside of you that
you get angry. You get the tunelevision and you're like, okay,
you want to play, I'm gonna play come on, let's go.
It's that warrior mentality that kind of kicks in. So
no level of degree is ever going to change that.
If you're an idiot breaking the law, and then when
the police catch up to you and you continue to
(01:09:31):
act like an idiot and you do things like, oh,
I don't know, kick a law enforcement officer, throw a
punch at them, you know, put other people's lives in danger,
and all this other stuff. Look, you're just the idiot.
If you would stop breaking the law, then you wouldn't
have so many problems. And the only time that you
(01:09:54):
really ever see a situation where an officer has to
get a little bit and granted, there there are some
bad officers that should just not be police officers. Let's
admit that we're not gonna paint the picture that every
police officer is the greatest in the world, because they're not.
There are people that should not be in that position.
But every time that you look at these videos, things
(01:10:15):
like the George Floyd, I mean, let's start there, George Floyd.
What happened to George Floyd? He did some stuff that
grab the attention of the cops. The cops came over
to do it and do their job. And what does
he do He resisted them. Well, when you start resisting
and my job is to take you down, and you
continue to resist, and then I'm going to get worse
(01:10:35):
and worse with you. And the more you resist, the
more and worse I'm gonna get with you. It's not
like this utopian world where the Democrats think that instead
of having police officers, we could just have social workers.
Excuse me, sir, sir, excuse me. Could we just speak
for just a minute. I just need to put these
pretty handcuffs on you. Look at them. They're silver, these
are pretty. They look good with your eyes.
Speaker 6 (01:10:57):
That doesn't work.
Speaker 5 (01:11:00):
And when you're dealing with people who are breaking the law,
that are fighting back, all the talk in the world,
all the degrees in the world, that's not gonna do it,
squad for you. Sometimes you had to slap somebody upside
the head and say knock it off. I mean, even
the situation with the the Rhode Island Assistant Attorney General,
(01:11:21):
the one that got arrested the other day for trespassing,
who was quite intoxicated. And I've watched the entire bodycam
video of this. Oh lord, I don't know I haven't
seen yet whether or not she's been fired. She really
should be. But her and her pretty little friend they
were there, and I got confused of this. I really did,
because again I watched the entire video, all the bodycam video,
(01:11:43):
and she kept yelling for.
Speaker 6 (01:11:45):
Dad, Dad, honey, sweetheart.
Speaker 5 (01:11:48):
Dad. So I'm like, I'm not sure, is this like
an Alabama thing going on in Rhode Island? Is it
both or the two guys there is one her boyfriend
and the others her dad. I couldn't quite figure it out.
But then again, there was her, her and then her friend.
So was the friend there with the dad or was
the dad the boyfriend? Or is the boyfriend also nicknamed dad?
(01:12:11):
I mean, you're calling him daddy outside of the house.
I got so confused on that aspect. But either way,
she tried to pull the whole thing with you know,
I'm an ag, I'm an ag. And the cops like,
I really don't give an ass what you are. You
gotta go, you're being trespassed, you gotta go, And she
continued to I'm an ag, I'm an ag, And so
they were like, yeah, okay, handcuffs come out, boom, put
(01:12:34):
them on her and she obviously vote verbally said you
know this isn't right. She she resisted a little bit,
not that much. They put her in the car. She
resisted that a little bit. They got her in the car,
shut her in, and then they switch over to the
friend who, while I will admit she was cute, definitely
was cute, but you dumb as a brick and obviously
(01:12:55):
one of these elitists who think that she's above the law.
Throwing her tempertension, the officer gets a hold of her
and gets a cuff on her, and then she weaseles
her way out. She's resisting like big time, weasels her
way out and is able to take the handcuff off
of her hand and throws it at the officers. This
is the point where the officers were like, all right,
(01:13:16):
we are done. We're done playing with you, ufa. Now
you're an fo And they they snatched her. I mean
they was picking her up and throwing into the car.
She goes and no more this resisting with the arms.
Yank them back around there, put the cuffs on their
tight go to throw her in the car. She's throwing
(01:13:36):
her temper tantrums about daddy, honey, sweetie, Daddy, Dad, and
the guys again, I'm not sure the two ways there.
I got confused. They're like, stop resisting, we're here, we'll
take care of just stop, and they're trying to like
de escalate the situation. Of course, now the cops will
like get out of the way, you know, to them.
(01:13:58):
But it all boils down to stop being an idiot,
stop breaking the law. Stop being an idiot, and you
wouldn't have the problems with law enforcement because it's not
that they're causing a problem. You're the one doing it.
And to resolve the situation is not gonna work by saying,
excuse me, hi, how are you. I'm a social worker,
(01:14:19):
and I was just wondering if you could calm down
just a little bit, because you know what it's like
when somebody tells you to calm down when you're mad.
Oh I'm that same way. When I get mad and
somebody looks at me and says calm down, I'm like,
calm down, I'm gonna knock you upside it. Don't tell
me to calm down. And we all kind of get
that way. But if you'd stop being an idiot, it
(01:14:39):
wouldn't have these problems. Stop breaking the laws. We won't
have these problems, just saying so stupid. Speaking of some
more stupid stuff the left, Oh my god, these guys
are just writing the show for me on like a
daily basis. More drama with Sidney Sweeney, which I'd love this.
I love how much she has triggered the left. Apparently,
(01:15:02):
now Democrat Senator from Minnesota Amy Kloshebar is denying the
comments that she had made praising Sidney Sweeney, well more
specifically Sidney Sweeney's girls. Uh, she was she she apparently
came out and she she made a comment about, well,
(01:15:24):
you know they, you know, they look pretty good. Girls
are looking the girls looking good. Yeah. And of course
then the rest of the Democrats went, oh my god,
I can't believe you said something like that.
Speaker 6 (01:15:35):
That's sexist.
Speaker 5 (01:15:36):
Well i'm a woman and I'm complimenting another woman's girls.
What's the problem here?
Speaker 2 (01:15:44):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (01:15:44):
And they threw the fit about him.
Speaker 5 (01:15:45):
Now she's having to come out and she's gonna have
to say I never said that. In a video, Kolosherbar
is seen saying that the actress Sidney Sweeney has perfect
tatas she has different language, but I'm trying to keep
it clean for the kids, and that the Democrats want
representation with ads that show ugly fat bitches wearing pink
(01:16:08):
wigs and long ass fake nails, being loud and torking
on top of a cop car at a waffle house
because they didn't get extra catchup, shut up. That is hilarious.
(01:16:29):
But now she's trying to deny. She's bag pedaling on
that one, going no, no, no, I never said anything
about the girls. It was a deep fake. I didn't
say it. It didn't happen. And even if it was
a deep fake, it's still hilarious. But the response really
should be. And again, if it was a deep fake,
(01:16:51):
and I don't know if it was or not, and
I haven't seen the video, just telling you what the
story is, and it could be a deep fake, it
could never have happened. Rather than that, and again the controversy,
she should just be like, really all right with all
the important things going on in the country right now,
with Donald Trump trying to take our democracy and try
to take over all of our cities and taking Medicare
(01:17:11):
and medicaid soci security away from all of our our
our elderly people, and he's going after all the illegals.
With all the important things that we out there, we
got to talk about Sidney Sweeney's tatas come on, let's
move on. But she didn't. She makes a big deal
about it, and she addressed the whole thing in an
op ed that ended up getting published in The New
York Times on Wednesday, where she spoke about the viral
(01:17:34):
video featuring her supposedly making the comments move on. I mean,
we're talking about him because, let's admit it, they look
pretty good. I'm not gonna lie. I mean, I'm not
generally a big boob kind of guy, but there's a
lot about Sidney Sweeney that looks good. I mean, she's
(01:17:54):
and this is the thing about her too that I
love is that she's not that drop dead gorgeous supermodel
that's all fake and everything. She's like a real girl,
you know, that girl that you want to have just
throw on a T shirt, pair of shorts and let's
just go hang out. You know, that kind of natural beauty.
And of course the Left has got to lose their
mind over it because again, like of the video set again,
(01:18:16):
whether regardless of whether it was fake or not, you know,
democrats want representation with ads that show ugly fat bitches
wearing pink wigs and long ass fake nails, being loud
and torking on top of a cop car at a
waffle house because they didn't get extra catchup. Speaking of
that type of behavior, anybody see the the latest video
(01:18:38):
that came from Cardival Cruises. Now, I gotta admit, I'm
not a big fan of Cardival. I'm not a big
fan of cruises actually, but Carnival, I'm just you know,
it's kind of like the party and not the good
party kind of cruise line.
Speaker 6 (01:18:51):
But man, they they've.
Speaker 5 (01:18:53):
They've got some really bad publicity lately, and it's the
usual sub subjects that are that are in this every
single time with what has gone down with Carnival Cruises,
where they had situations where there was a lot of
let's just call it hood rats, let's just call it
what it is, acting immature, acting inappropriate on board the cruises,
(01:19:17):
and the cruise line came out and said, Okay, well,
we're not going to allow any rap music, thinking that
that's gonna be the thing that's going to fix the problem,
and clearly it didn't. We've been seeing video after video
of the fights, the breaking out the latest one and
this is this is how ridiculous people are getting. The
latest brawl that happened on a carnival cruise just the
(01:19:37):
other day was over the chicken tenders. Now, I know
there's a lot of jokes that could be said here,
and I'm not gonna go down that road, But has
society caved so much that you are willing to get
into a brawl on a crew ship over chicken tenders? Wow?
(01:20:11):
And it was an all out hair pulling, punch throwing
again over chicken tenders. It's like some people need to
reevaluate their lives and the problems that they really truly have.
Because if the worst thing that you've got going on
right now is chicken tenders and you got to get
into a fight, not good, Not good at all. But
(01:20:33):
it's also bad for for carnival cruise because now people
who want to just go on a cruise that they
can afford, because let's face it, the carnival cruise lines
is one of the more cheaper ones they're They're now
they're saying, I don't want to go, So how many
hundreds of millions of dollars is this going to cost
(01:20:54):
to carnival cruise lines because of that. And of course
the worst part about this now is the question is
is how do you profile this right? Because again, it
wasn't like it was a bunch of white people that
were out there, you know, being white trashy and getting
up into a fight. It was a bunch of black
(01:21:15):
people that were up on the cruise ship that had
been causing all of these problems. Now, this is not
saying that all black people are bad, no, because it's
obviously not the case. I mean, we're we're not leftists,
we don't think that way. But for those now that
are not in that behavior category, that don't act like
(01:21:37):
they're you know, just wild animals off the street, then
want to go on a cruise.
Speaker 6 (01:21:42):
Now they're going to have to.
Speaker 5 (01:21:43):
Spend more money because they're gonna want to go on
another cruise that is not going to be like that.
And again, in the end, it'll be really bad for
cardival cruise I'm sure they're numbers coming up here in
the next the next couple of months or so, probably
when they report this quarter is probably not going to
be good. And when they give the forecast for their
upcoming quarter, when people are booking cruises. They're probably going
(01:22:07):
to be hurt bad. But then how do you fix
this problem? I mean, really, how do you fix it?
It's a it's just it's a messed up situation. But again,
this is the society that the Democrats encourage. They encourage
this type of stuff because it fits their narrative of
(01:22:27):
being able to destroy the family, destroys society. Uh. And
then they can come in on their their white donkey
all and fix things, or try to at least. But
you have all of the the left again, they they're
they're going against the whole crime stuff. Did you just
see this Karen Bass over there in La This woman?
(01:22:49):
I mean, when when you google the word stupid, it's
her face that pops up. And that's saying a lot,
because you've got TIMU Obama and his face, and Corey Booker,
and then there's AOC and Jasmine Crockett, but none of
them compare now to Karen Bass. Karen Bass has now
come out and just the tiniest credibility that she may
(01:23:11):
have possibly had with anybody right out the window.
Speaker 2 (01:23:14):
Now.
Speaker 6 (01:23:16):
She did a press conference and she was talking about
how the city of Los Angeles there is zero crime
in Los Angeles.
Speaker 5 (01:23:27):
Zero crime. Now, I get it. You don't want Donald
Trump to come in and take over like he did
with d C, which, again, DC is a different situation,
it's a different animal. He can federalize it because it's
a federal territory. It's not a normal American city, it's
not an American state. It is a territory of the
federal government, so it falls under some different rules. Donald
(01:23:51):
Trump can't simply just come in and take over the
city of Los Angeles with the National Guard. But he
already sent the National Guard in, yeah, to protect the
federal properties and the federal employees. The National Guard that
went into LA didn't go in on patrol and start
arresting people. They were protecting the federal properties. Big difference.
(01:24:14):
But Karen Bass she's coming out, and she did a
press conference on Tuesday where she responded to the accusations
that she and Gavin Newsom are committing crimes against humanity
by enabling unfettered illegal immigration. And she came in and
she said that there's zero crime here. One of the
(01:24:37):
reporters had said to her Mayor pass on the topic
of immigration, the President's deputy chief of Staff Stephen Miller
accused both Gavenusom and yourself of crimes against humanity for
your immigration policy, going as far as to say they're
guilty of crimes against humanity for their facilitating of child trafficking,
sex trafficking, according to the reporter, and she comes out said,
(01:24:57):
there's lie. There's nothing about that. It's not true. It's
a lie. And she claimed that she and Knwsom have
done nothing wrong by harboring illegal aliens and obstructing the
Trump administration. Hey, mayor Bass, I'll help you out a
little bit. Title eight of the US Code thirteen twenty four,
which has been a federal low since nineteen fifty two.
(01:25:20):
It prohibits the harboring and concealing of illegal immigrants. It
faces a financial penalty and five to ten years in jail.
Just saying you might want to go read that. I mean,
I gave you the thing, Title eight US Code thirteen
twenty four. Go read it. It's been lost since nineteen
(01:25:40):
fifty two. All right, all right, coming up after the break,
Tyler Gray is going to be joining us. And of
course it is a Red Friday, where we remember everyone deployed.
Sponsored by American Charlie's Grill and Tavern right there in
the shops at Edgewater in Panama City Beach. Going out
and get a good all American meal right there at
American Charlie's and tell him I sent you. They love
(01:26:01):
hearing that. I was just talking to them yesterday about it,
So let them know. We gotta take a break. Tyler
Gray is on the flip side. We will be right back.
This is the Brian Rush Show on the Florida Man
Radio Network.
Speaker 1 (01:26:23):
They say he's got good jeans. I'm just glad he's
wearing pants. This is the Brian Rust Show.
Speaker 6 (01:26:31):
All right, welcome back to the show.
Speaker 5 (01:26:32):
Good morning, and thanks so much for waking up with
us today. Want to welcome back to the show. Actor
and star of the Seal Team, a former Delta operator,
Force a Force operator as well, and author new book
called Forged in Chaos, a Warriors origin story. Tyler Gray
is back. Tyler, how are you today?
Speaker 2 (01:26:53):
Great? Thanks for having me.
Speaker 5 (01:26:54):
Absolutely, Thanks so much for having you on having coming
back on. Sorry my brain stopped working for a second. Uh.
You are hands down one of the biggest demands that
we've had for a return interview in a while. So
I'm glad to turn back on. We got a lot
of things that we could talk about. The world has
kind of gone crazy and we were just talking off
the air about this and how you know, crazy might
(01:27:15):
actually be the thing that's going on. And god, it's
like what I start to show every day. And I'm like,
I'm not sure where to go with the beginning, but
I guess we can start with a recap of the
situation with Donald Trump and the Russia Ukraine conflict. Obviously,
now we've gotten to a point where we've seen both
sides being met with now an upcoming Putin and Trump
(01:27:39):
and Zelensky meeting being planned out. What are some of
your thoughts of have all of this going down?
Speaker 2 (01:27:47):
Yeah, Well, one, I want to mention one thing first
because I haven't heard anyone else talk or speculating on it.
And uh and I think the audience might you know,
be interested in it, and just because anyone to talk
about it, and that is you know, there's a lot
of talk on you know, the location and the military base.
(01:28:09):
You know, it's all it's in Alaska, and there's a
lot of talk about it. But there's a lot of talking,
a lot of speculation but no one as far as
I ever heard, really had any answers for why it
was where it was. And I'm pretty confident I know
the answer, so I'll throw it out there. But if
you look at in modern times, there is absolutely no
(01:28:35):
two people can talk in any form over any distance
that is secure you and me right now. I mean, yes,
we're on the air actively, but you know two people
are talking on the phone. There's absolutely no guarantee anymore
that it's a private conversation. You can listen in on anything, right,
(01:28:56):
I don't care if you're on satellite phone, cell phone,
you know. UNI. And so I'm pretty confident that the
reason it was held where it was was to ensure
that the two leaders could get face to face and
privacy could be insured for the conversation that can only
happen today in person. And so the reason I believe
(01:29:18):
it was chosen in the military based in Alaska. Yes
it's proximity Russia, but it's a secure facility that Trump
can control and ensure privacy. And I'm pretty confident that
that's why they met there in person. Yeah, to dis
things just between themselves.
Speaker 5 (01:29:37):
Yeah, that's a great, great thought on that, and that
probably is the reason why. I mean, we've heard all
of the other speculations as to why, and I think
a lot of the people just have no idea what
the heck they're talking about, but a very good point
to kind.
Speaker 2 (01:29:51):
Of And yeah, and the reason I bring that up,
you know, the context of why I bring that up
is because I think it shows that they needed to
have a serious talk and it shows that progress could
start here because they could ensure that no one else
(01:30:13):
was privy to the conversation the details of the personal conversation, right.
And so you know, a lot of people ask me
before the meeting, I said, look, it's very obviously he's
going in there for really to get a level of understanding,
understand where everything is at h and basically understand what
Putin wants to start letting the groundwork for those meetings.
(01:30:35):
But I think here's another thing I've said which I
think is critical, and that is Putin wants to make
a deal. And the proof of that is the fact
that he went to the meeting in the first place.
Speaker 5 (01:30:49):
Right.
Speaker 2 (01:30:50):
Putin is not the guy to be like, oh, I'll
take the meeting if he doesn't need anything or want anything.
He doesn't care. He's proven us over and over and
over against So the fact that he took the meeting
tells me that he wants something out of it.
Speaker 5 (01:31:05):
Yeah, what do you think he wants out of it?
What do you think you'll get out of it?
Speaker 2 (01:31:08):
Actually, I mean, I think he wants a buffer. I mean,
here's my two cents on Putin and Trump. And again
I can be wrong, but I'm pretty confident of what
I'm about to say, and that is a lot of
(01:31:30):
people forget that Putin was a KGB officer for years,
and most people don't realize that. They seem as, you know,
a person in charge of Russia. But he was a
KGB officer, and you know, you always have to look
at that. You have to always look at what he
does in Russia or in general through the eyes of
(01:31:53):
a KGB officers. And so the critical part of that, though,
is he was a man of action. And I think
they have a mutual respect to each other of each
other on two parts. One they see each other as
men of action, and two, I don't think they see
each other as true quote unquote politicians. Right. You know,
(01:32:16):
Trump had an entire lifetime career before becoming a politician putin,
not as much, but you know, he did a lot
of things before he became, you know, a politician. They're
not normal career politicians. They're men of action who have
led other lives and been successful in other careers. And
I think that is where the basis of the mutuals
(01:32:39):
of respect between the two comes from. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:32:42):
I think that's a very valid point, you know, when
you look at who they are and break things down
and yeah, putin, I mean, and he's proven over and
over again that he's not that politician that he is
you know, historian, understanding and knowing everything about his country.
And yeah, I think you're right. A lot of people
forget that he was KGB, which he wasn't just you know,
just a KB KGB guy working in an office somewhere.
Speaker 2 (01:33:04):
He was.
Speaker 5 (01:33:05):
He was definitely somebody that was out and about doing
some some some bad things. So he he's a unique character,
to say the least.
Speaker 2 (01:33:12):
Yeah, and let's make no mistake. I mean, there's a
lot of things that he does that I do not
like at all, no doubt about it. But one thing
I do respect about him is, you know, he's he's
not your typical lazy uh you know, sits in a
chair and governs from far away politician, you know what
(01:33:35):
I mean. So I think I think career politicians are
killing politics. Quite frank, that makes sense, and so I
respect that about him. But obviously there's many many things
I don't agree with. I think the war in Ukraine
needs to stop. I do completely agree with Putin. I
(01:33:56):
truly believe it when he said it wouldn't happen in
the first place. And anyone who truly understands Russia knows
how kind of that war came to be. Uh, And
it's really unbelievable that the people in the well, it's
not unbelievable. It also excuse me, but there's a lot
of politicians in the US I want to say their
(01:34:18):
names that were that it happened a on their watch
and probably be because of their watch that they're obviously
not taking any responsibility for.
Speaker 5 (01:34:31):
Yeah, typically US politician without a doubt. Yeah, And you know,
I do love the denial that we're seeing from the
left right now that you know, and they've been doing
it since since Donald Trump even said it that you know,
if if I was elected, re elected, then this war
never would have happened. And it happened under Joe Biden.
And then you know, Putin comes out and point blank
(01:34:52):
says it would not have happened if Donald Trump was
was still the president. Do you think he's going to
get a piece deal like relalatively soon? I mean, because obviously,
you know, they met with the EU, they met with Zelensky.
Obviously I have a much different, you know, meeting. And
I'd also like to get your thoughts on the fact
that within the seventy two hour time period Donald Trump
was able to pick up the phone on the way
(01:35:14):
back from Alaska and say, hey, my office Monday morning,
ten am, let's go and you see who showed up.
What kind of a message does that send to not
only Putin but the world.
Speaker 2 (01:35:27):
I mean, again, I defer back to what I said,
you know, Trump, whatever people think of Trump, I would argue,
but again, I'm using logic as the basis, and you know,
we have a whole group of people that aren't. But
I think, no matter what people in my opinion, I
just it's non a logical argument. People could say whatever
(01:35:49):
they want about Trump, but no one could argue that
he makes things happen. I mean, I say that, and
yet people will make that mark here because it don't
dwell in reality, but it's pretty you know, there's there's
an insane amount of just straight facts over and over
and over again that that show him taking you know,
(01:36:11):
immediate and consistent action across the board on almost anything.
You know, he's and again, where does that come from?
It comes from. He's a negotiator, he's a hustler, he's
a business guy. He's not a guy that got into
politician of politics in his twenties and then just you know,
rides out there is you know, talks to his constituency
(01:36:34):
or doesn't and and you know politicizes from afar, you know, right, Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:36:42):
One of the things that happened the other day which
I kind of found a little bit funny. And you
want to talk about politics with how he's not a politician,
you know, when when the meeting happened with the EU
leaders in Zelensky he did the whole Hey, let me
just let me go. What time is it in Russia
right now? It's one am. Do you think he's up?
Let me call him and he just he picks up
the phone and calls Lensky or now Zelenski Putin and
(01:37:05):
you know, everybody's like, wait a second, you can't do that.
We have the protocols and we have to vet and
we've got to have this and we got to prepare
for that. And Trump's like, now I'm gonna pick up
my phone right now and give him a call. Hey,
how you doing. You know, that's that's another example of
Donald Trump being one of those let's just get it done.
And one of the things I love about this is that,
you know, for so long government has been government speed,
(01:37:28):
and now Donald Trump is proving that government speed is
a made up thing and doesn't need to be and
that we need to stop with the government speed and
get some things done. And you're right, he everything that
he's done, and he's done a lot. I mean you
figure in all this stuff that he's done in the
past seven months, he's done more in seven months than
I think Joe Biden would have done in sixteen years.
(01:37:49):
And it's amazing. I mean, look at Washington, d C.
With the crime situation. I mean, within twenty four hours,
you know, there's one hundred people arrested. And now you
can walk the streets of DC and not fear, and
it's it's like a week long into this and he's
made a significant progress and they still try and stop them.
Speaker 2 (01:38:09):
So there's a very simple way to explain why the
change has happened so quickly. The reason to change, and
I mean I'm not just I can talk about a
bunch of difference, but the reason it's changed so quickly
is because it was always very easy to solve the problem.
The reason it doesn't get solved isn't because there isn't
(01:38:32):
a solution. It's because the people in charge are failing
to admit that the problem exists.
Speaker 5 (01:38:40):
Yeah, yeah, you're right, you know it's and it's part
of our bureaucratic system that we have that definitely needs
a good swift kick in the ass to fix up.
Which I with Tyler Gray. Yeah, go ahead.
Speaker 2 (01:38:51):
Well, I'm going to say the reason they fail to to,
you know, recognize or admit that the problem is this
is because they wouldn't be admitting to the sale failure
of their own leadership. Yeah. So they have to deny
the existence of a problem to cover the fact that
(01:39:12):
their policies are incorrect and their leadership is incompetent. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:39:17):
Yeah, and they're falling apart. I don't know if you
saw the news of The New York Times just did
a report on a new study that came out that
four point five million Democrats since twenty twenty in twenty
twenty four have now switched over to the Republican Party.
I mean, the Democrats are absolutely imploding at this point.
And I don't think we've ever seen something this disastrous
(01:39:39):
happened in American politics. To see that party, which had
so much control for so long, just absolutely fall apart.
Speaker 2 (01:39:49):
Well, you know that what has happened is really simple.
I don't know exactly how it happened. I don't think
most people could. Well that's not true. I mean, there
is a a way it happened. It would take a
lot of groundwork and explaining. But what essentially happened is,
you know, back in the day, the Republican Party we're
(01:40:10):
seen as elitist, and the Democratic Party we're seen as
as the party of the people. But let me tell
you something that I've said for the last you know,
thirty years now, and I always laugh about it. I
always said, and by the way, I worked in Hollywood,
you know, for ten years, and I said, look, it's
very simple. The reason that I choose the Republican Party
(01:40:35):
is because the reality of any party is that politicians
are politicians, and at the end of the day, they're elites,
and so politicians are going to always be out for themselves, right,
and this isn't You'll see what I'm going with them,
I said. The difference with the Republican Party is the
Republicans Party goes, yeah, we believe that, you know, people
(01:40:57):
should be able to be rich. We believe you know,
bla and blank and blank. I'm like, they at least
admit that what the party stands for. I said. The
other side says they're for the people when they're demonstratably not.
So one side is lying and one side isn't. Who's
the better side? You choose. I choose the one that
(01:41:19):
isn't lying. So it's like even if people said, oh,
they're just a party of the elite rich blah blah blah,
says yeah, but that's what they say they are because
they admit it. Yeah, we're for capitalism. Yeah, we're for capitalism.
We admit that. And then the other side's going, oh,
you know, we are for poor people, and yet it's
(01:41:41):
a bunch of rich people. Like how can Nancy Pelosi
with the street face talk about how she's for porpios.
That's ludicrous.
Speaker 5 (01:41:49):
Yeah, or Bernie Sanders for that matter, you know, going
off about the oligarchy and doing that tour while flying
around on private planes. It's like, come on, it's like,
stop lying to the.
Speaker 2 (01:41:59):
People hearing rich people hearing, and I don't mean like rich,
I mean wealthy, very very rich people continue to act
like they're not rich. Is one of my favorite things
to watch in the World's hilarious.
Speaker 5 (01:42:14):
It is. Yeah, I love watching that. I mean my
other full time job that I do, I deal with
the one percenters, you know, in aviation, and yeah, you
see all the time. It's kind of entertaining.
Speaker 6 (01:42:25):
Were Chadd with Tyler Gray?
Speaker 5 (01:42:27):
And Tyler got another question for you because you said
you were in Hollywood for ten years. This is one
of the things that we're also starting to see in Hollywood,
and I'm just kind of curious with your insight on this.
How much more of Hollywood is finally starting to come
out of the closet and admitting that, you know, yeah,
we're Republicans. Because I'm seeing more and more of this
and I'm just wondering how much of that you're starting.
Speaker 2 (01:42:49):
To see, well a lot. But but but you said
the correct phrase, which was I mean out not not converting.
And that's really all it is. I mean, I can
tell you that there is a lot more of you
(01:43:12):
know red in Hollywood than than you know, no different
than Look, let's just use it this way. Prior to
the election of Trump the second to two point zero,
you know, you had so many no one in Hollywood
because was going to admit that, you know, because of
just the culture that was created, the cancel culture that
(01:43:33):
was created now that he's in office or sorry, what
I was saying with that was they made you think
that no one was going to vote for him. That
was the way they made They pushed the media narratives
with things we all know. I'm preaching to the choir here.
But then when the election happened and it was like,
oh wait a minute, a lot more people feel the
(01:43:55):
way I feel. Everyone just was like, Okay, well, even
if I'm going to lose or we're gonna lose, I
don't care, but I'm going to vote for who I want,
you know for And it wasn't close. And so at
that point a lot of people realized in Hollywood that
were leaning red were like, man, this is I live
in a vacuum champ. Now most of them don't live
(01:44:15):
in Hollywood obviously, or California for that matter. I just
moved out of California. But it was a strong, you know,
signal that it was okay to come out because the
majority of the country is on your side politically.
Speaker 5 (01:44:33):
Yeah, yeah, and it's it's it's fantastic to see that
start happening. Tal. I want to ask another question being
somebody who's a you know, a former Delta Forest guy.
We're seeing the new potential conflict coming about and it's
some of it's kind of funny to see the responses
of it. But Donald Trump just recently sent a few
(01:44:53):
warships along the submarines and a bunch of Marines and
Navy and personnel off the coast of Venezuela. And we're
seeing Maduro's who you know, Now there's the fifty million
dollar reward for his arrest. Yeah yeah, And all of
a sudden, the doal Trump has said is going on.
What do you where do you think to see this
this conflict going and how do you think it would end?
Speaker 2 (01:45:16):
I mean, fifty million dollars is a lot of money
when they put those bounties out. The only reason they
don't get and I'll say this because it's kind of
it's just something that people don't understand. When a fifty
million dollar bounty gets put out, everyone in the US
is like, oh my god, that's so much money. He's
(01:45:37):
gonna he's going to go down in a week. And
then it doesn't happen, and then years go by and
people like it doesn't make any sense. Well, here's why
it doesn't make any sense to us in the US.
But if you live in Venezuela under that dictatorship, they
don't trust anything that comes from anyone, right, so they
see fifty millions from the US and they go all
(01:45:58):
they wouldn't pay because that's the culture that they're living
in right now, in total control. So that's why it
doesn't really, you know, work, It's because the people just
don't believe it. Now, between all of us, Trump would
probably pay five hundred million dollars, right, Hey, Hey, he's
fifty million.
Speaker 5 (01:46:18):
Man, I'm ready to go for a trip. You want
to go? What are you doing this weekend?
Speaker 2 (01:46:21):
Yeah? No, I yeah, I mean it's a it's A.
It's a no brainer. I mean, it's a lot of money.
And so the big thing is, I look, I hope
something happens to remove him from power. He's in power illegally,
against the will of people. He's an absolute punk and
a bully, and he needs to go in however that is,
(01:46:44):
he just needs to disappear.
Speaker 5 (01:46:46):
Yeah, one way or another, pink missed or otherwise.
Speaker 2 (01:46:49):
Yes, yeah, no, literally, I mean, it's it's really sad
what he has done to the people of Venezuela.
Speaker 5 (01:46:57):
Yeah, and it's it's amazing because you know, in our
lifetime we have seen Venezuela go from a very strong
capitalist country to now waiting in breadlines and soup kitchens,
you know, desperate to just basically survive. And there's no
wonder why we have so many Venezuelans, even the violent ones,
(01:47:18):
getting the heck out of there, because it's just not
a great place to live anymore. And it's sad to
see it happen so fast too, which should be a
wake up call for a lot of Americans too, because
you know, obviously a lot of the stuff that he
does is it kind of falls in line with some
of the things the Democrat party has in mind and
how fast it fell, and you know, it makes you
wonder how fast America could fall if we don't fight
(01:47:39):
for what is right.
Speaker 2 (01:47:42):
Yeah, I mean, I'll just say this. You are one
hundred percent correct. And there's a reason that the US
won't fall. I believe, you know, there's one major thing
that would have to happen for the US to fall
like that. The reason it can't is the Second Amendment. Mm. Absolutely,
let me tell Let me tell you one other things
(01:48:03):
because your audience will probably enjoy this. I'm a staunch
Second Amendment supporter, like probably most of your listeners. And
if I had a dollar for every time, you know,
someone was telling me, you know, oh, the Second Amendment
isn't about you know, fighting the government, blah blah blah,
I'm like, yes, it is. It's very very It literally
(01:48:25):
couldn't be more clear. And the fact that they debate
that it's clear scares me about their intelligence. But but
my point being is they go, you, there's no way
that the Second Amendment was for the government or the
people fighting the government. You really think a person today
with the you know, AR fifteen could fight the government? Really,
(01:48:49):
that's just stupid. I've heard that two hundred times.
Speaker 5 (01:48:53):
You know.
Speaker 2 (01:48:53):
My response is I fought two wars against insurgents with
thing that freaking rifles and it worked pretty good for them.
Speaker 5 (01:49:03):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, they there again, they're they're they're outside
of reality and they they they don't understand it, you know.
And that's that's the whole reason for why the left
push is so hard for the dismantle of the the
Second Amendment. It's not h you know, the shootings and
stuff that happened, because you know, they always use the
false statistics. I mean, they go on about how, you know,
(01:49:26):
the the gun crime statistics are so bad looking, how
horrible it is, and and we need to stop all
this and to save the children. But the reality is
that the vast majority of gun violence is suicide. So
it's it's not like it is you know, uh, the
shooting in the streets and it's all horrible. But yeah,
you're you're absolutely right. I mean, you know, I hear
the argument about how you know, with Donald Trump always
(01:49:48):
going to be a tyrant and everything, and I think
about this and go, you do realize that us on
the Magas side, the Republican conservative side, even though we
support Donald Trump. We would be the first ones to
step up and tell Donald Trump, oh, I don't think
so if he decided he was going to become a tyrant. Uh,
And they just don't get that, that concept of how
that how we think when it comes to that.
Speaker 2 (01:50:10):
Well, let's look at the historical examples of tyrants, true tyrants,
you know, the Stalins, the Hitlers, et cetera. The what's
his name, Miles Satan. What is step one in their
playbook or very early on, disarmed is removed, removing any
(01:50:32):
and all weapons from the people's hands. Trump did the
exact opposite. So what he's done by trying to make
you know, firearms things more legal for citizens is literally
the exact opposite of tyrant behavior. But they just sweep
(01:50:52):
that one under the rug because they don't like guns
to begin with, because they're actually tyrants who think that
they're liberators. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:50:58):
Hell, here in Florida, we we put a tax free
holiday on ammunition and guns. So, I mean, you can't
say a lot of Santis is a tyrant.
Speaker 2 (01:51:08):
I don't know if you just moved knew this, but
I moved to Florida.
Speaker 5 (01:51:12):
Yeah, so it's a good place to.
Speaker 2 (01:51:15):
Be it's it's the best. I couldn't. I wish I
wouldn't moved here years ago, but I mean I couldn't.
I was working on a TV show. But it's amazic,
very happy it is.
Speaker 5 (01:51:27):
It's a great place to live, even on its bad days.
It's a great place to live. Tyler Gray. The book
is called Forged in Chaos, a Warrior's Origin Story. What
is the book all about?
Speaker 2 (01:51:38):
The book is really documents my journey from really my
whole life, quite frankly, and it tells my whole life
story as a precursor to setting up some lessons that
I put in the end about you know, how I
overcame certain you know, the injury I had, the physical
(01:51:59):
injury from being blown up, all the different mental issues
I had from loss of identity, loss of purpose, loss
of the team that I was with for many years.
And it really sets everything up and paints a picture
of how I came to the conclusions I came to,
and then the lessons the ways I overcame those things.
(01:52:21):
So hopefully the book can be, you know, a light
in the dark for those that are currently in the
dark like I was for you know, so many years.
Speaker 5 (01:52:30):
Awesome where can people.
Speaker 2 (01:52:31):
Get the book anywhere books are sold. The audio book,
which I'm very proud of, just came out on Tuesday
on Amazon for Audible. I read it myself and I
think people are really going to enjoy my I tried
to put myself in that same emotional state that I
was in when I read it, and I hope people
(01:52:54):
enjoy it.
Speaker 5 (01:52:54):
Awesome.
Speaker 2 (01:52:55):
It's really for anyone that has ever had any trauma
and how to take that and essentially build resilience from
it and grow from it and become a better person.
Speaker 5 (01:53:07):
Love it. A book again called Forged in Chaos, A
Warrior's Origin Story. Get it anywhere the books are sold.
Get the audio version right there at at Amazon. Tyler,
I always love our conversations. Glad you're a fellow Filridian now,
you know, and we got to keep fighting for this country.
And welcome you back anytime onto the show.
Speaker 2 (01:53:27):
Absolutely my pleasure. Thank you so much for having me.
Speaker 5 (01:53:29):
Absolutely, thank you so much, Tyler Gray. You know the
book again, it's called Forged in Chaos, A Warrior's Origin Story.
Go grab that book now, great guy. We got to
take a break here in a couple of minutes. But
interesting topics though, you know, especially when you look at
situations like the UH the negotiation is now going on
(01:53:51):
with with Russia, UH and Ukraine and watching how the
left has really responded to everything and come up with
it and get some insight from somebody who is a warrior.
You know, guy was a former Delta Force operator. He
knows what he's talking about with that, and yeah, this
is this could be really interesting to see how how
(01:54:11):
everything goes down with that and how the left responds
to it. And you know, and the other thing, the
whole Second Amendment thing. I talk about this all the time.
There are there are people on the left that are
convinced that we have to take away the guns because
of the school violence. And again, when you look deep
into the crime statistic numbers, uh, the largest number of
(01:54:36):
violence and guns is suicide. It's not actual homicide that
is out there. The left changes that, they change that
narrative and and again it's the brainwash people that don't understand.
But there are plenty of people on the left and
there are some on the right as well, and uh,
you know, they understand that like every other dictator and
(01:54:56):
tyrants in society around the world, you have to disarm
the population in order to take them over. So things
to things to consider in the brains. We gotta take
a break. Coming up, the Doster Boys are gonna be
joining us, and of course it is a Red Friday
sponsored by American Charlie's Grill and Tavern. We'll be right
back making liberals cry, one happy show at a time.
Speaker 1 (01:55:25):
This is the Brian Rust Show.
Speaker 5 (01:55:27):
All right, welcome back to the show. Happy Friday. It's
a Red Friday. Of course, we're remembering everyone deployed, sponsored
by our friends at American Charlie Grill and Tavern right
here at Panama City Beach, where we do our show from.
You can go check them out if you live in
town or living around the area, just hop on over
go get yourself some great American food. It's wonderful. Trust me,
(01:55:48):
you're gonna you're gonna enjoy it. It's that time of
the week also where I get to bring in at
least one of my favorite people. It used to be two,
but now since one has decided to kind of abandon us,
I think at this point, Matt, I need to change
the graphics on the show because I think Brett has
abandoned us.
Speaker 7 (01:56:05):
How are you, yeah, get more than Brian. I think
you're exactly right. Uh, he is just you know, he's uh,
he's missing in action. He claims that he has a
bad cell signal. Uh huh, I'm not I'm not sure
if I buy it. I always have this vision of him,
you know, with a fly rod standing in the middle
of a free cup in North Carolina or something like that.
(01:56:25):
But exactly very it's a very good explanation actually, but
uh yeah, he supposedly sends his best and promises he's
promising he's going to be back on next week.
Speaker 5 (01:56:39):
Okay, because next week we'll make it a whole month
without without any Brett. I'm beginning to think we broke up.
I was actually looking back to go Was it something
I said, because I've been told that before. It was
something that I said, So, uh.
Speaker 7 (01:56:54):
The thing I'm telling him is he's just becoming irrelevant.
You know, you go away for too long and then
nobody needs you anymore. So yeah, we'll see if we'll
see if a little bit of fear pressure brings them back.
Speaker 5 (01:57:04):
That sounds like a good plan. I'm all for it.
American View, by the way, has heard right here on
the Florida Man Radio Network on Saturday at twelve noon.
Let's get into this. Boy. We got we always got
so much stuff to talk about. And on the state level,
there's there's plenty of things. In national level, there's plenty
of things. Let's get into some good news to start off,
because we don't get too much good news, and then
(01:57:25):
we'll get into the bad Florida once again. You know,
we the whole idea of let's make America Florida has
really become true. Let's think about this President Trump Floridian resident.
You have Marco Rubio, Secretary of State, Florida Resident, the
Attorney General, Pam Bondi Florida resident. And now we've got
(01:57:48):
Joe Gruder r n C Chair Florida Resident.
Speaker 7 (01:57:53):
It's truly amazing. I mean, I don't you know, Florida
was in an ascendent phase for the last few decades.
I think we all have been excited and encouraged, and
we've seen more and more prominence given to Florida in
conservative politics. But I don't think anybody would have predicted
that this is where this great state would be, just
(01:58:15):
in terms of shaping the narrative, changing the conversation, in
our contrast with all these blue states. I mean, you've
seen these mass exoduses from New York and California and
places like that. Everybody wants to be in Florida, maybe Texas.
There's maybe a few other places out there that we
continue to have some rivals with on the on the
red state side.
Speaker 2 (01:58:34):
Of the aisle.
Speaker 7 (01:58:34):
But you're exactly right. It's we got the president, two
senior cabinet officials, and now the head of the r
n C, the Republican National Committee, will be a Floridian
state centater, Joe Gruters. That's set to happen any any
day now. I think the official vote may happen this weekend,
and yeah, Florida is going to be lead leading at
every level.
Speaker 5 (01:58:56):
We've gone a long way from the hanging chin.
Speaker 7 (01:58:59):
We have gone so far, and you know, I always
think back to the green benches of Saint Petersburg, was like, oh,
that's where old people go they watch dog races, and
you know, it's just a big retirement thing. So much
different now, just the tone has changed. We have so
many leaders to thank for that. I mean Governor Rick
Scott and Governor Ron De Santis and everybody that came before.
(01:59:20):
Those guys just totally changed the narrative. And you know
the fact, the fact that basically New York ran off
even Donald Trump. Yeah, and now he's an official Floridian.
It just all plays to our benefit. It's thrilling for
guys like us who've been working in the trenches talking
about these issues for so many years. And I think
it's just there's a lot of a lot of a
(01:59:41):
bright future for the rest of us because of it.
Speaker 5 (01:59:43):
Yep, you're right. And to show you how powerful Florida
is getting. I don't know if you saw this, but
Rick Scott ended up running over to California to join
in on the fight to save the Palisades. Like it's
it's gotten so so bad that the state of California
can't get their own representation to do it. Instead, they
(02:00:05):
get you know, Rick Scott to come over and be like, here,
I'll help you out a little bit.
Speaker 7 (02:00:11):
So well, yeah, yeah, yeah, Brian, you're hitting an issue
that actually I'm going to talk about today, which is
just it's this sort of state versus state arena that
we're seeing these issues play out. And it's one of
the really cool things about the United States. I mean,
we have a federal government, but we have state governments
and we have local governments, and it gives all these
(02:00:31):
different places for, as they say, the laboratory of ideas
to play out. But yeah, you've got this state, California,
which represents so many good things. I mean, it's a
beautiful place, got you know, celebrities and money and all
the sorts of things that people think they want, but
then just really really bad leftist leadership and it leads
(02:00:53):
to things like this where you have this horrible fire
and you know, they claimed, hey, we're going to get
the red tape out of the way, We're going to
get things cleared out so that we can rebuild, and
it's not happening. They're not able to get out of
their own way on some of this stuff. And you're
exactly right. So you have a leader like Rick Scott
who can get involved on that or many other issues.
(02:01:14):
I mean, there was a there was a press release
that came out of Bed Bath and Beyond this week
that where the CEO is like, hey, we're out. We're
not only are we not only are we out, We're
not even going to open our operate stores here because
of just the really ridiculous regulatory scheme that's going on
in California. You can't do business there. So you know,
contrast that with everything that Florida is doing right, and
(02:01:37):
it's a it's a good story. I just wish some
of these states could catch on and throw their leaders
out and do it the way that we've been doing it.
Speaker 5 (02:01:44):
Yeah, to me, it's amazing, and I get it too,
because you know, people are so brainwashed by so many things.
And when you look at California, like you know, the
response that Gavin Newsom had to bed Bath and beyond
not doing things there, it's like they called you out.
They said, you know, your policies, the high taxes, the
(02:02:06):
fees and all this other stuff is the reason for
why we don't want to be in your state. And
then Gavin Newsen comes out and he just he hits
him with some stupid comments. It's like you're completely oblivious
to it. And now you know, it's another situation with
no jobs that will be produced there. And that's not
the only business. There was a couple other businesses too
that in the past couple of weeks have said we're
(02:02:28):
closing up shop and we're leaving California. I mean, how
much more is it going to take for the people
to understand that these policies just don't work.
Speaker 7 (02:02:36):
Yeah, it keeps coming back, and you're right, he's like
tone duff on it. I was watching a pretty interesting
discussion earlier this week about who the top tier candidates
are for president and the Democratic side of things, and
the discussion was that, yeah, he's kind of the tier
one candidate, but does he deserve to be if you
look at his record, if you look at what he's
(02:02:57):
actually accomplished or failed to accomplish, it's a pretty bad record.
And he's leading his corporations and his business enterprise out
of the state. It says something about the state of
the Democratic Party because you've got basically somebody who's only
his only assets are on style, right, like the look
and the sort of talking points that he comes up with.
Speaker 6 (02:03:19):
That's all you got.
Speaker 5 (02:03:20):
Boy.
Speaker 7 (02:03:20):
He's in trouble, big trouble, big trouble, and the whole
party's in trouble. I mean you see it everywhere. And
then you've got this fight over the redistricting, and I
mean this is a really this is a really entertaining
story as well. Texas has basically passed their new maps.
I think they still have to get the governor's signature,
(02:03:40):
but they've basically passed their new maps, and now Newsom
is going through this sort of fall on the sword.
We're going to do the same thing in California, except
it's a lot more complicated in California. They've got to
get these ballot measures to pass November to give constitutional
permission for them to over sort of ignore their district
(02:04:02):
commission out there. And you know, I've heard a lot
of people speculate this thing very well could fail for Newsome.
It could be like one hundred million dollar experiment that
goes bad.
Speaker 5 (02:04:12):
Dollars. There'd be two hundred million dollars to do that,
but you know, tied about it going wrong. I mean,
I don't know if you saw the report that came
out yesterday about how there's four point five million Democrats
have switched to Republican And when you look at the
report on this, every single state was affected by this,
So it wasn't like just a couple, it was every
(02:04:33):
single state consistently.
Speaker 6 (02:04:35):
So there's this huge drive.
Speaker 5 (02:04:37):
And you know, people forget that a lot of California
is actually very Republican. So redrawing these lines that might
backfire on you.
Speaker 7 (02:04:47):
Absolutely, and that that story it came out. I think
the New York Times was the beginner of the of
the story, and then it got picked up by a
lot of other people. But yeah, that was a huge story, Brian,
and I mean as a polit guy, Bret and I
love digging into the numbers and trying to understand all
that sort of thing. But yeah, thirty states, all thirty
(02:05:08):
states where party registration is tracked in the voter files,
every single one has moved Republican over the last four years.
And I think you said the number four and a
half million overall. I mean, you're looking at a situation
where the margin in the popular vote was a couple million,
So four and a half million is a huge number,
and there's no sign that it's stopping. Every month the
(02:05:31):
numbers change a little bit more in the Republican direction.
I'm starting to think that, you know, Joe Biden and
Kamala Harris, like we you know, we all teed off
on those two people, but they really may have done
more lasting damage to their side than we even realized.
I think those two are so emblematic of where the
left has been. You've got these guys Knewsom and Pritzker
(02:05:55):
and some of these other people trying to claim the
mantle for the future. But you know, I think if
you ask a lot of people full left Democrat, who
is that, Biden and Tamala Harris come to mind, and
those two were not. Those are not the ambassadors you
want for your effort.
Speaker 5 (02:06:10):
No, not at all. As a matter of fact, I
think I might send them a thank you card. On behalfy.
Speaker 7 (02:06:14):
We all know, all, well.
Speaker 5 (02:06:19):
We'll buy Kamala a drink, and you know, we'll we'll
get We'll get Joe some depends or something, you know,
just a just as a thank you gift. You know,
maybe I can send her some some peanut butter tequila.
This is the new thing that I've discovered lately, and
it's delicious and maybe maybe you'll should enjoy that.
Speaker 2 (02:06:36):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (02:06:39):
Yeah, yeah, But the the redistricting thing has been a
very entertaining situation. You know, obviously with California jumping in
saying oh, we're going to do it, as well Massachusetts
jumping in and saying we're going to do it, which
is hands down one of the dumbest things I mean,
because the entire state is all Democrat anyhow, hasn't had
a Republican congress representative since ninety nine. So it just
(02:07:01):
it goes to show more the stupid desperation that is
coming out of the left. But here, yeah it is.
And and here in Florida. You know, this is another thing.
It's like, you want to play this game. You know,
how about if the state of Florida right now does
a new census in the state of Florida and we
realize that, holy crap, the the influx that we have
(02:07:22):
had of people is going to need it so that
we need two, three or four more congressional representation, and
then all of a sudden it balances or wipes out
anything that California does, you.
Speaker 7 (02:07:35):
Know, yeah, exactly. And that and Governor Desantus, I mean,
he's really been communicating on that, whereas in some of
these other states it's it's been more about, uh, you know,
the proportion of how the seats are drawn. His his
contention is, Look, he thinks Florida lost at least a
seat in the last census just because of the way
(02:07:55):
the Biden administration approached that. And so you're right, if
the whole thing we're reformulated based on new census numbers.
It could really show that shift out of some of
these blue states in which you know, Newsom, Newsom might
be trying to hold onto a few seats rather than
just redistricting the lines. And Florida, I mean, we're already
the third largest. Not only does that have to do
(02:08:18):
with congressional representation, that it also has to do with
votes in the electoral college as far as electing the president.
Of course, you know Trump had more than enough votes
this last go around, but some of these elections had
been a lot closer. So just a few votes here
or there in the electoral college could have a huge
impact on presidential politics. You know, It's one of those
things right I almost like want to pinch myself and say,
(02:08:42):
don't mess this up. Like we're you know, everything. The
momentum is so good right now, it almost feels like,
you know, if somebody's going to do something or say
something or whatever, that could mess it up. But right now,
if I was, if I was on the left, i'd
be very discouraged.
Speaker 6 (02:08:58):
Yeah I would too.
Speaker 5 (02:08:58):
But you know the thing that I have I say
repeatedly not to be a Debbie Downer is that the
Democrats can still win the House next year for sure,
because we get too comfortable. We're not good at messaging,
We're not good at counter messaging. And you see what
the Democrats are coming out with. I mean, despite the
(02:09:19):
fact that d C, I mean, this is hands down
one of the most amazing things that I think more
people really need to talk about it. When you look
at what happened in DC. DC was crime written. You know,
you've been there. You know, homeless all over the place.
It's just bad city. You can't go anywhere without police
presence everywhere because it had to be there. Donald Trump says,
screw this, We're done with it. I'm sitting in the
(02:09:40):
National Guard. We're federalizing this, We're bringing in federal law enforcement.
We're going to clean this up. Within like two days,
you saw a dramatic difference. And now you have people
that are showing videos that I hate Donald Trump people
and are showing this is what Donald Trump did in DC.
Look at how clean it is, look at how safe
it is. Now you're not seeing the law enforcement standing
(02:10:01):
on every single corner of the street because it doesn't
have to be. And this happened so quick, and yet
the left is still like Donald Trump he's taking over
and he's bad and it's it's horrible, and we're all
like it was effective. What the hell are you talking about?
Speaker 7 (02:10:17):
Exactly no, exactly right. I think I saw that you
probably saw the same thing. I think there was the
first week that there hadn't been a murder in Washington,
d c.
Speaker 2 (02:10:25):
In like four or five months.
Speaker 7 (02:10:27):
Yeah, you know, all because of this, all all all
because of this, you know, because somebody said, look, we're
we're not going to do this anymore here. Exactly right,
though about the precarious nature of the US House. The
Senate looks a little better, but the House, you know,
could could hang in the balance once again in the election.
(02:10:47):
You know, one of the things Trump Trump performs very well.
Not all the other Republicans perform as well, right, I mean,
he has the crossover appeal that some of the other
leaders in the party don't have. I mean, if you
just look at the US Senate, it's fifty three Republicans.
But if you look at Donald Trump's map, I mean
the Senate should be sixty Republicans, right, I mean, it
(02:11:09):
really should be. It should be more of a red
red distribution there in the Senate, and so every election
matters if you just got to take everything seriously. We
got to you know, go after it with everything that
we've got and not take anything for granted. But these
you know, these redistricting fights are going to definitely end
up being important in the end. I just hope the
(02:11:30):
strength of the message is really all that matters.
Speaker 5 (02:11:32):
Yeah, and it would be interesting to see how much
of the backfires and the Democrats too, which I think
there's that strong potential that it could. But you know,
if Joe Ruder gets in there as the RNC chair,
which we're hoping is definitely going to happen with this vote,
I hope he takes the warnings that we have to
message better and get more messaging people out there and
(02:11:54):
stop being the elite Republican Party. You know, it's time
to bring in the gangsters. Is time to you know,
bring in Joey vatonob and you know, gonna break some
neat gaps and something over, you know, contact Elon Musk,
get a boring machine, go right uner at their feet.
Take it that low. Because the Democrats they have no
problem doing it, and people are fearful. I mean, you
(02:12:16):
look at the the argument with Medicare and Social Security.
They're coming out talking about how, oh my god, it's
the worse, it's being taken away from you, and fear
is the way that they rule it. And people are going,
oh my god, they are. But it's like, yeah, they
took money away, but not for you, for the illegals
and the the the able bodied people, not for you.
And the Republican Party has not come out and really
(02:12:36):
countered that message like they should. And they.
Speaker 7 (02:12:42):
And it'll inevitably be twisted, you know just what you said.
They'll they'll use every little potential argument that they can fabricate,
and they'll use it. And you're right, we've got to
fight back. Got to fight fire with fire, as Gavin
Newsom would say, right to fight fire with fire.
Speaker 5 (02:12:56):
You know what, if I was his political consultant, I
would tell him stop saying that fighting fire with fire,
fighting fire with water, that would be a good letter.
But maybe not even saying fighting fire would be a
thing that I would tell Gavin Newsom don't say that.
Speaker 7 (02:13:11):
Because it's not a good look for him.
Speaker 6 (02:13:13):
It is not not at all.
Speaker 5 (02:13:15):
Matt Dawser, The Show is called American View has heard
right here on the Florida Band Radio Network twelve noon
on Saturday. What's on the show this week?
Speaker 7 (02:13:24):
Yeah, we're looking forward to the show tomorrow. We're going
to be talking to Adam Kissel. He's a leader in
the higher education world. He was in Trump's first administration
and since then he's been with the Heritage Institute and
doing a lot of public policy and hired leadership. Wrote
a great book about just the insanity of higher ed
in the ivy leagues and just all the course materials
(02:13:46):
that you can read up on and just get, you know,
basically your stomach turned by how leftists and obsessed with
race and gender and oppression and just all the sorts
of things that we've been hearing about, you know, the
encouraging that as Florida's been doing such a good job
taking back our higher ed system. So we're looking forward
to that conversation. We'll talk about a lot of these
(02:14:07):
issues and some of the national ones as well, but
it'll be a good show.
Speaker 5 (02:14:11):
Yeah, absolutely, twelve noon right here on the Florida Man
Radio Network. And of course, if you missed the show,
America Inview dot com, where you guys have the podcast.
You can go up there and grab that. It's always
a great show. I tried to hear it every time
I can, and if not, I grab that podcast. Matt
the true Star of America in View. He does it
(02:14:33):
with some guy what was his name?
Speaker 7 (02:14:35):
Again? Some other guys. We don't need to talk about him.
I think you said the truth. The true star is me,
and so let's just leave it at that.
Speaker 5 (02:14:44):
Yeah, we're going to erase him right off the graphic
if he doesn't show up next week for the show.
But Matt, it's always a pleasure chatting with you, and
we'll do it again next week. I know for sure
whether or not that other guy shows up is a
different story. But have you so fantastic weekend. Appreciate the conversation.
Speaker 7 (02:15:03):
I'll put him in a headlock and make sure he's here.
Always enjoy it, Brian, there you go.
Speaker 5 (02:15:06):
Awesome Matt Dost for America Interview. Thanks so much. Hav
a fantastic weekend. We got to take a quick break.
We will be right back. This is the Brian Rust Show.
Good morning.
Speaker 1 (02:15:24):
They say he's got good jeans. I'm just glad he's
wearing pants. This is the Brian Rust Show.
Speaker 5 (02:15:30):
All right, welcome back to the show. Big thanks to
Tyler Gray. Also to Matt Doster from America Interview for
coming out and chatting with us today. Of course, if
you missed a show, you want to hear the show again,
you want to share it with your friends. It's a
couple of ways you can do that. You can listen
to the podcast. It's available right now at the Brianrustshow
dot com, or you can watch it on Rumble Onwimkin
(02:15:54):
dot COM's forward slash Brian Rust Show, where you can
watch this hot mess. Do you feel the need to
torture yourself just a little bit? You can, you could
do that. Some people are into the self torture thing,
and if it's for you, there you go. So anyhow,
a lot of a lot of things, Uh, we've gone
(02:16:15):
over today in the show. This weekend, I know that
there's gonna probably be a bazillion more things that that
it's gonna happen over the weekend. So Monday we'll obviously
dive into it. We'll have another incredible list of guests
that we'll have all next week right here on the show.
So make sure you tune in and check that out
of the meantime, the left continuing h they're fear mongering. Now,
(02:16:36):
Representative Madeline Dean of Pennsylvania now claiming yesterday on MSNBC
that the that President Trump is going to deploy the
National Guard to multiple cities to declare an emergency to
suspend the elections. Fear mongering. Look what he did, Look
what he did to d C. She goes out to
(02:16:58):
say that I wish that the President was actually serious
about curbing crime in any city. I'm in the region
of Philadelphia, my beloved city. We struggle with crime, we
struggle with gun violence. The President doesn't give a damn
about crime. Hey, hon, I just can I point something
