All right, good morning and welcome to the show Happy
Red Friday, where we remember everyone deployed, A course sponsored
by our friends in America, Charlie Grill and Tavern in
Panama City Beach, where you know, we remember everyone who's deployed.
Whether you're deployed around the world, around the country wherever
it is. We thank you for your service, and good morning,
and welcome to the show. I allergies today are bad
(02:05):
and this is this is not the best day for
me for allergies. Where's my I've I lost one of
my notes. I have so many notes scattered around the
studio this morning. I'm kind of a hot mess. As
as far as more organization goes, I'm usually better than this.
There's one particular note I can't find, and I need
it to remind myself of things. But yeah, allergies this morning,
(02:28):
they're bad. I just I got one side of my
face is is clogged up with the sinuses and on
top of that, and today's gonna be a rough day
for me anyhow, it really is, and I'll get to
that in a second. But my eyes just it's got
the allergy gook thing that is so bad. It actually
feels like I'm crying. I mean, that's that's how bad
(02:51):
it is this morning. And if I guess, if I
don't stay up on top, oh god, now I can't see.
I can't see. It's all blurry. Just wipe my eyes clean.
What is in the air. I wonder if it's from
the quote unquote control burns that they're doing here where
we are. There's something that, by the way, California, you
(03:12):
can learn a lot about you really could. Anyhow, Welcome
to the show. It is our big Friday show, and
today's show is even more special for me because today
marks the tenth anniversary of the day that I got
the phone call. And you know this, damn it, this
(03:35):
is gonna be tough for me. This week has been
just in emotional week. I think for the country as
a whole, it really has what's that? Get what's shot?
I never heard of that? What is that? And it'll
fix it right up?
Speaker 4 (03:50):
All right?
Speaker 7 (03:51):
Give that a shot. At this point I need something
because I literally it's like my vision now between a
combination of tears and just iboogers, is just bad. I
can't barely even read the screens this morning. But today
is the tenth anniversary of the day that I got
(04:13):
the phone call about my kidney transplant. It's one of
the quotes that that I will probably never forget for
the rest of my life. And that quote was Brian,
we have a kidney for you and for anybody who's
gone through this type of thing. You know how amazing
(04:33):
it is, how tough it is, how emotional it gets.
And of course I would love to say that, you know,
my kidney came from a living donor, but it didn't,
which just adds to so much more to the emotion
that I experience on a day like today. And you know,
(04:56):
today is not the day that I actually had the transplant.
It was four o'clock in the after noon today in
twenty fifteen when I received that phone call, and ironically
I missed the call. I actually missed the call. It
was one of those things where I missed it. I
got it like two minutes later, and you know, the
(05:17):
rest went to an emotional basket case, to say the least.
But I'll talk more about it later on This morning
Sunday is actually the anniversary of the actual transplant. It
took a couple of days before everything got going. It
was like four o'clock in the morning on the twenty
first when the transplant actually happened. But we'll talk about
(05:41):
that later. We got to get through the show first
because that segment of the show, which we'll do an
hour Ember three, is I'm just going to tell you
now it's going to be very tough for me, very tough.
But this has been such an emotional week for the
country as really the world, with everything that has gone
(06:03):
down with Charlie Kirk, with the response that we watch
from the left, with how they respond to it, and
then I add this on and you know, before the
Charlie Kirk thing, obviously we had another shooting where there
was two young children that were taken out, and it's
it's just been a rough, rough couple of weeks I
(06:24):
think for the nation. Definitely a rough one for me.
Thanks Pat. Yeah, I mean when you do work in dialysis,
you get to really see how rough it is. And
and fortunately I did not have to have dialysis, which
was a miracle to say the least. But again, like
I said, we'll get into that later because if I
(06:45):
get into it too much right now, I won't be
able to finish the show. I really won't, So we'll
move on. Also coming up later on the show, of
course the Doster Boys, as always on our Red Friday,
we'll chat with them about things. There's a lot of
stuff to talk about out but the nation again kind
of divided over all of this bs with with with
(07:07):
Charlie Kirk, the fact that you know they have to
take the stance that they are after a man was murdered,
assassinated in front of his family, in front of his friends,
in front of his supporters, for really having conversations, and
(07:28):
it kind of annoys me in so many ways that
the left continues on to harp on First Amendment speech
right now. Like one of the things that we're seeing
the big claim coming from the left right now is
that the firing of Jimmy Kimmel is being one of
(07:50):
the worst things that ever happened to the First Amendment?
Are you kidding me? You think that in over paid,
not funny comedian losing his sixteen million dollars a year
job is the worst thing that could ever happen to
(08:11):
the First Amendment. I mean, a man being shot and
killed in front of his family and friends and supporters
for expressing opinions and having conversations. That kind of seems
pretty bad. But again, Charlie Kirk, while he was great
(08:34):
at the conversation, was all about the talking and had
his opinions. That wasn't really First Amendment either. I mean,
the First Amendment is designed to protect you from the government,
not from each other. But Charlie Kirk had open conversations.
He had disagreements, but he had open conversations. Let me
(08:55):
hear your opinion. That was a great thing, something that
this nation is really truly missing greatly right now. Jimmy
Kimmel was in a business. It was a business of
being funny, a business of entertaining people and getting more
and more people to actually listen to you. And by
(09:19):
the way, I'm not actually crying right now. I probably
will be later, but like, seriously, these allergies to this
morning are just they are so bad. But the left
is so upset about the Jimmy Kimmel firing. They are
so bad now they they even want investigations. The Democrat
(09:47):
Congressman Garcia, Robert Garcia of California, I mean, big surprise
on that he's now demanding and that the Democrats that
they investigate Donald Trump, the administry, Sin's role in ABC
suspending the comedian. They want to investigate this now. And
(10:08):
even Maxine Waters, Maxine Waters wants a criminal investigation, a
criminal investigation opened up into Donald Trump's administration over Jimmy
Kimmel being fired.
Speaker 5 (10:23):
Now.
Speaker 7 (10:23):
Bottom line is, when it comes to Jimmy Kimmel, regardless
to whether or not you agreed with the things that
he said, or whether you thought that they were atrocious,
whether you thought he was funny or not being funny.
That that has nothing to do with it. The bottom
(10:44):
line is for the past five years, Jimmy Kimmel has
been on a nosedive trajectory with his ratings. Five years
ago was about the highest his ratings had ever been.
And from that one time period it was not a
steady decline. I mean we're talking about a an absolute,
(11:07):
just nosedive. And when you work in the entertainment business,
the broadcasting business, whether it be radio, television, TV, news,
talk shows, whatever it might be, if you don't have
the audience, then the the broadcasters can't make the money.
(11:27):
This is this is a very simple concept. This has
nothing to do with free speech. And Jimmy Kimmel's ratings
have plummeted, which means that people do not find him
entertaining and ironically, and I say, I've always I found
this amazing. I really do right now in this country
(11:49):
because when you look at where we are with the
division of politics and everything else, to find somebody like
Greg Guttfeld, who I love Greg Gutfeld, but to find
somebody like Greg Guttfeld and his show gutfailed the Late
night Show, which by the way, has been a dominating
(12:11):
number one show. His shows about politics, and it's number one.
And why is it number one For a very simple reason.
It's number one because of the fact that he gets
out there. He talks about these issues, but he also
makes jokes about it. He makes a joke about Donald Trump,
(12:33):
he makes a joke about Joe Biden, he makes a
joke about congress person whoever, senator, whoever, governor of this person.
He makes some jokes. He takes the real life situations
of what's going on. They talk it out, they make
some jokes that make some sarcastic remarks, and people find
it funny. It's the number one late night show. The
(12:54):
ass whooping that he was delivering on the comedians was
so bad. Fox had mercy on them and moved gutfeld
show up an hour so it wouldn't spank them so hard,
and continued to do it. The bottom line is this,
(13:14):
The TV stations have to make money, and if you
are somebody who is not producing an audience, then that
means the advertising dollars that they could get in that
if they could get in, it are going to be
low and therefore money is not made. It's the bottom line.
It's the business that you are in, Jimmy, and the
(13:37):
bottom line is you wanted to make your sixteen million
dollars a year. How are you going to get your
sixteen million dollars a year if advertisers don't advertise on
your show. That's how that works. Same thing with me.
If I was to lose audience, good chance, I wouldn't
be around. But the left is their their continued meltdown
(13:58):
on it is. It's the else. But we'll get into
more of that coming up just a little bit. But
it is a red Friday where we do remember everyone deployed.
Thank you to our friends at American Charlie Grill and
Tavern in Panama City Beach for sponsoring that. And of
course they've got their new hours and their extended menu
as well. Go check them out. I'm telling you you're
gonna love it. We got to take a quick break.
We'll be right back. This is the Brian Rush Show.
(14:19):
Good morning, all right, welcome back to the show. It's
the Brian Rush Show here on Florida Man Radio and
of course, also streaming on Rumble dot Com at Wimkin
dot com, Forward slash Brian Rush Show. Maybe one day
(14:40):
we'll throw it up. We'll take the attempt. We'll take
the attempt thrown up on YouTube if they'll let me.
I doubt they will, but either way, it is a
Red Friday, of course, brought to you by our friends
at America, Charlie Grill and Tavern as we remember everyone
who is deployed. Seriously, my notes today are just absolutely ever.
I don't even know what the hell we're talking about today.
(15:01):
I got like five pages of notes, so we got
a lot to talk about. And the Left again, the
meltdowns that are happying from them, and they're melting down
so badly over of all things, Jimmy Kimmel. Jimmy Kimmel
is the is the thing that they're melting down. And
our boy Hairbear he even went on another rampage too.
(15:24):
Let's hear what our boy Hairbear has to say.
Speaker 8 (15:27):
Stephen Colbert just responded for the first time to Donald
Trump getting Jimmy Kimmel's show canceled, and what he said
was spot on. You just got to see it for yourself.
Speaker 7 (15:36):
What do you say we are all Jimmy Kimmel. Oh,
dear God. First off, first off, stuff for team You're
really going to come out and do that right now,
Stephen Colbert, that we are all Jimmy Kimmel. You're going
to stoop to the point of stealing the line that
(16:00):
the conservatives have used post the murder of Charlie Kirk,
that we're all Charlie. That's that's the way, ass wipe.
I swear to God, I.
Speaker 5 (16:16):
Still have a show though.
Speaker 9 (16:17):
Right yesterday, after threats from Trump's FCC chair, ABC yanked
Kimmel off the air indefinitely. That is blatant censorship. And
it always starts small. You know, remember like in week
one of his presidency, Gulf of America, call it Gulf
of America. Sure seems harmless, but with an autocrat you
(16:39):
cannot give an inch. And if ABC thinks, if ABC
thinks that this is going to satisfy the regime, they
are woefully naive and clearly they've never read the children's
book If you give a mouse a Kimmel. And and
to Jimmy and Jimmy, just let me say I stand
(17:01):
with you and your staff.
Speaker 7 (17:02):
One yeah, because you're gonna be unemployed too.
Speaker 9 (17:05):
Couldn't let me enjoy this for like one week?
Speaker 5 (17:12):
Man?
Speaker 8 (17:12):
I just love his response and as would be right.
I don't know why ABC thinks that suddenly this is
going to please Donald Trump. He won't bug them anymore,
because if you give an autocrat an inch, they'll continue
to take and take and take until there's nothing left
to take. And this is how Donald Trump has been
his entire life. So I have no idea why the
executives at Disney and ABC want to go down this path,
(17:34):
but it's a dangerous one. Trump is clearly infringing on
free speech here, and every single American should be very concerned.
Speaker 7 (17:46):
You're an idiot, kid, I mean, you're really that kid
is is just such an idiot. And again we've explained
it there. There's a woman who who did a video
which was fantastic explaining pretty much what I have said,
but she did it in such great details. Somebody else
has worked in the industry. They are so convinced that
(18:09):
this is an attack on free speech.
Speaker 5 (18:11):
It's not.
Speaker 7 (18:11):
It has to do with business. You have somebody whose
ratings have gone down for the past five years in
a landslide, and never once by the way did it go, Oh,
let's speak a little bit and come back down.
Speaker 5 (18:25):
No, it started up.
Speaker 7 (18:27):
Here and ended way down there, way down there. Nobody's
watching his show. He's not worth the sixteen million dollars.
So while the left continues to go on about, oh
my god, it's an autocrat and it's the attack on
the freedom of speech, and ABC doesn't know what they're doing. No,
ABC Disney does know what they're doing. And yes there
(18:52):
is the comments that were made by the FCC commissioner.
Probably shouldn't have said them. I mean, he's right, and
it is his opinion. But being in the role that
he is in, and being the fact that next our
broadcasting our media group wants to purchase another set, and
it's gonna be a decision that's gonna be done based
(19:12):
upon them, the idea of just simply saying, oh, well,
we're going to cancel Jimmy Kimmel. I mean, to be
honest with you, I think that there are more people
that are talking about Jimmy Kimmel, and more of the
clips of Jimmy Kimmel bitching that he got fired and
other people saying that he got fired, then there are
(19:33):
actually people watching Jimmy Kimmel. So that would do no
good whatsoever for Donald Trump to say, Hey, if you
want us to approve this sale, then you got to
get rid of Jimmy Kimmel. That's just it's stupid to
(19:55):
even go down the road again. It's about the bottom
line of the money, Stephen Colbert. Stephen Colbert, that was
costing the network one hundred million dollars a year to
produce and they were losing forty million dollars a year.
It has nothing to do with what you're saying. It's
(20:16):
the fact that you are a failure now with Jimmy Kimmel. Look,
when's the last time he's told a joke. When's the
last time that he remembered the other fifty percent of
the country that he slams on. That's the reason for
why you got fired. You're not a liberal network, liberals show.
(20:39):
You're supposed to be a show that entertains the masses,
and you failed at that. You failed miserably at that,
and that is the reason for why you've been fired.
The latest comment is just another example as to why
people don't want to watch you, and they finally said
enough is enough. You out, all right, we got to
take a quick break. We'll be right back. This is
the Bride Ross Show. Good morning, all right, welcome back
(21:08):
to the Brian Rushow here on Florida Man Radio. It's
just oh the left, man. They're meltdown of just some
of the absolute dumbest things. Which by the way, they
are taking advantage of the Jimmy Kimmel thing as a distraction.
And don't let that fool anybody. This was their opportunity
(21:31):
to distract us from the conversation of Charlie Kirk because
now this is what everybody's talking about. Everybody's talking about
the Jimmy Kimmel thing, and they're trying to distract it
and make it out to be the worst thing, because
it is. It's the worst thing, as they will say,
the worst thing that has ever happened to the First Amendment,
the fact that a non funny man who lost all
(21:56):
of his ratings got fired. It's tragedy, man. I just
Donald Trump should probably be impeached over this, right, I mean,
they want to investigate him. They want him investigating now,
Maxine mad Max Waters. She actually wants criminal charges, criminal
investigation into it.
Speaker 5 (22:14):
Exactly.
Speaker 7 (22:14):
How is that criminal can somebody answer that one. How
is that criminal? But then you get this, you know
of it. Gavin Newsom he has to chime in and
from the Gavin Newsom Press office, he says Fox must
suspend garbage Greg Guttfeld asap. Not only does he need
(22:37):
a not only does he need a fake laugh track.
He makes things up. It's not funny and it gets
so easily triggered like a snowflake. When Jessica just the
Facts Tarloff speaks, Wow, that's a Jessica just the fax tarlof.
(23:03):
Fox should suspend him, immediately, send him to News Nation,
by the way, which is owned by next Star, where
his jokes belong with the other failures, ratings, crashing, people
begging for it to stop. Fox, do the right thing,
or I'll make the FCC take care of you. Final warning,
(23:31):
Final warning. There's there's so much wrong with this statement.
Where do I start? Oh, it was Gavin Newsom, We'll
start there. But it's kind of funny how once again
we're into this. We've got to cancel Fox News. We
(23:53):
had to cancel the Fox nails. You remember when they
were all cheering the fact that Tucker Carlson, who, by
the way, I don't know what happened to Tucker Carlson.
He went bad, crap crazy lately. I just something about
him lately just isn't sitting right. But they were so excited,
even Jimmy Kimmel so excited that Tucker Carlson has been
(24:16):
fired from Fox News. Tucker Carlson got fired from Fox
News and he had huge ratings. Jimmy Kimmel was fired
from ABC because the network of radio or TV stations said,
we can't make any money off of him, we don't
(24:36):
find him funny, and that latest comment is going to
be very bad. Get rid of him. If you don't
get rid of him, we're not airing him. It's as
simple as that, which, by the way, in a lot
of ways is a violation of the TV station's contracts.
And they said, I don't care, We're not going to
air him. That's how bad it had gotten that in
(24:59):
Greg Gutfield does need a laugh track. If you if
you are a fan of Greg Guttfeld, I ever watched
the show, you can tell that is not a laugh
track when the laughter is the same consistently over and
over and over again, with every single joke, regardless of
(25:20):
how stupid. It is not funny at all. That laughter
is the same thing that's a laugh track. Jimmy Kimmel,
Stephen Colbert and even the other Jimmy there, they all
use laugh tracks and it's obvious when you listen to it.
(25:42):
Greg Guttfeld Show is about as real as it gets,
and I think that's one of the reasons for why
it has become an enormous success. So for Gavin Newsom
to get in there and say, oh, his ratings are dropping.
And of course if you if you don't remember the
whole thing with with Greg Guttfeld, Jessica tar loof, I'll
play someone.
Speaker 10 (26:02):
Wasn't school in doctrination. Carry Lake went off on that
he was in an online apprenticeship program at Dixie Technical College,
which I don't think was. I would just I didn't
say when he changed. I'm just thinking we need before
Charlie got a.
Speaker 7 (26:16):
Dinner before, we don't need more information.
Speaker 8 (26:19):
Really, yes, what is interesting here is why is only this.
Speaker 7 (26:24):
Happening on the left and not the right.
Speaker 9 (26:26):
That's all we need to know about.
Speaker 7 (26:28):
There was absolutely no call Melissa Horseman. Did you know
her name before it happened?
Speaker 1 (26:35):
None of us.
Speaker 9 (26:36):
Did, None of us were spending every single day talking
about missus Hortman.
Speaker 7 (26:39):
I never heard of her until after she died. Don't
play that bullet with me, and I'm sure we've all
heard the clipper, seen the clip. I mean he does,
he went off, don't start that bulls with me. Greg
Guttfeld was pissed. Greg Gutfield that had gotten to a
(27:01):
point where he was sick and tired of listening to
Jessica just the facts, tarlof spewing her bs where she's
wrong every time, and send him to news Nation where
his jokes belong with the other failures. His jokes are funny, sure,
every now and then Gutfeld will say, it's something that
(27:23):
just kind of falls. But you know what else happens
when a joke falls with the With Greg Gutfeld, he
calls himself out on it. He makes fun of himself
for a failure of a joke. When the panel doesn't laugh,
or the actual live studio audience that is literally right there,
doesn't laugh or make a comment or whatever. He makes
(27:45):
a joke of that. Not every joke is always going
to land, and it happens, but people are begging for
it to stop. Who who's begging for Greg Gutfeld to stop?
I mean, aside from ABC, NBC and CBS because he
crushed them, who is who's begging for it to stop?
(28:07):
By the way, when you want to talk about ratings,
Fox News is still the number one rated news network,
and a news channel, by the way, has a late
night show on that spanked around the three networks. How
embarrassing is that? I mean if I was sitting in
(28:31):
the office of ABC Entertainment and uh, you know, we
pull out the ratings and we go, all right, what's that?
What's what's his name? Greg? Greg? What Gttfeld over on Fox?
What is the holy crap? How did a news channel
get a guy doing a late night show beat us?
A news channel on cable it beat us? How that happened?
(28:56):
That should have been the first reaction. All right, maybe
maybe it's just a fluke. All right, next ratings come out.
It's still going on. He's beating all three of us.
How's this happening. That's when you go, hey, Jimmy, come here,
we got to talk a little bit. You saw the ratings, right,
(29:16):
Your ratings suck. You are being beaten by a guy
on a news channel. We need to make some changes
in the show. What are we doing wrong? Let's let's
do a let's do a study. Let's do a little survey.
Why do people not find you funny? All right here, Jimmy,
here's all the things that we've discovered. People don't want
(29:38):
to hear your crap about politics. They want to hear
a joke. They've had a long day, they've had a
hard day. They want to hear a joke. You want
to make a joke about Donald Trump. Look, the research
says that yes, people will find jokes on Donald Trump
funny as long as they're funny. Go ahead and do that.
But they didn't. Instead, they continued to attack fifty percent
(29:59):
of the country with garbage. And this is the result.
You get fired. But what is Gavin Newsen saying? Fox?
Do the right thing, or I will make the FCC
take care of you. Final warning? Who in the hell
do you think you are? Final warning? You're the governor
(30:20):
of California who does not stand a chance in winning
the presidency in twenty twenty eight, and you're gonna tell
the Fox News it's the final warning. Wow, you are
really full of yourself. By the way, the FCC has
(30:41):
zero say over Fox News and Greg Guttfeld. Greg Guttfeld
can come onto the News or onto The Five, or
onto his show and just repeatedly drop the F bomb
and there is nothing the FCC can do. Now do
it on broadcasts where you have to have a broadcast license,
(31:04):
that is a different story. You have to when it
comes to these cable networks, they do not have to
quote unquote serve the community. If you are a broadcast station,
whether it be a radio or television, you have to
do things that broadcast in the best interest of the community.
(31:25):
That is the deal. And Jimmy Kimmel was on that
part of things, so he was in a whole different realm.
And just face it, you got your butt kicked by
a guy in a news station talking about news and
you failed. And I love this one here. I forgot
who it was that posted this. No one banned Jimmy
(31:46):
Kimmel forever from every major social media app. That happened
to Trump. No one conspired to put Jimmy Kimmel in jail.
That happened to Trump. No one fired a bull at
Jimmy Kimmel. That happened to Trump. And Charlie what happened
to Kimmel is that his corporate employer decided he was
(32:09):
no longer a profitable figurehead for its product distributed over
public airways. That's it, and that is it. It was
a business decision, and these leftists are just melting down.
Speaker 5 (32:31):
D L.
Speaker 7 (32:31):
Hugley, who I don't know if anybody remembers him, because well,
he hasn't done anything in quite a long time. He's
also out now saying that the Jimmy Kimmel suspension, which
is not a look, it's a They technically called it
a suspension because of the fact that he's got a
contract and they're holding him to the contract. They're just
suspending him off the air, which, by the way, means
(32:53):
he's still getting paid. He's still getting paid his sixteen
million dollars throughout the rest of his tract, which by
the way ends in a couple of months anyhow. But
he was fired.
Speaker 4 (33:05):
But D. L.
Speaker 7 (33:06):
Hugley, who at one time I think was a comedian,
he's out saying now that the Jimmy Kimmel cancel was
a government run can cancel culture. And I love how
they're so upset about cancel culture now, But they weren't
before when they were canceling everybody under the sun. Do
you remember if you just happened to say something that
(33:27):
they didn't agree with, Oh, they got to cancel you.
And then you've got fart boy, Lord, fart boy. I
swear to god, this guy. I feel bad for his
wife and children. Can you can you imagine going, yeah,
that's my dad or that's my husband. I mean, that's
that's got to be an embarrassing thing. But yesterday he
(33:50):
sits there on the floor of the house or in
the in the in the the Senate here or the
house hearing wearing his Jimmy Kimmel live hat. He even
did some news shots yesterday wearing his Jimmy Kimmel a
live hat because we're all Jimmy Kimmel. Yeah, great line.
Where'd you guys get that idea from? But he said
(34:11):
that Trump is firing comedians. That's what happens in Russia
and China, cannot happen here. Really, Can we talk about
all of the comedians who were funny are funny that
were canceled over the past four years? Can we talk
about all of them and why were they canceled? Oh?
(34:32):
Because they were kind of leaning to the right, and
they weren't making fun of Donald Trump and doing the
deliveries that they wanted, and they were saying things that,
oh my god, there was so offensive, which, by the way,
is what comedy is. Comedy's supposed to be offensive. So
where's all the outrage over the past four years of
all the comedians who were canceled cultured And it's amazing
(34:57):
to see that when Donald Trump became president and how
all of the canceled cultured comedians have been able to
come back out, and we're all like, oh, thank god,
I'm glad, right, Ricky, you know, they shoot them in
Russia and China exactly. But fart boy, I mean, what
comes out of his backside is actually a little bit
(35:20):
more intelligent than he actually truly is. But it's just
sad to watch the left dying on this hill as well,
dying for Jimmy Kimmel and the fact that they're trying
to use this is a distraction to get us to
stop talking about Charlie Kirk. But it's all about the
(35:41):
First Amendment and Donald Trump is evil and Donald Trump
is out trying to take away your First Amendment right,
So he's such a monster he's a dictator now, not
at all. We got to take a quick break, don't forget.
Today is Red Friday, has brought to you by our
friends at American Charlie Grill and Tavern, where we celebrate
everyone that is deployed. Thanks so much for listening today.
(36:02):
We will be right back. Oh that's right, all right,
welcome back to the show. Happy Red Friday, brought to
you by our friends in America, Charlie Grill and Tavern,
where we remember everyone deployed. Go check out their new
menu items. Go check out their new extended hours as well.
(36:25):
Of course, this weekend football and which means they're gonna
have some football for you as well, so go check
that out. I still haven't gotten out to check out
the new menu items, which here's what my fear is,
because look, I'm trying to try to lose a little
bit of weight, and I know that when I go
(36:46):
to the Mayo clinic coming up in about a week
or so, they're gonna can we get you to get
down a little bit lower, So I've got that goal.
Not to mention, I mean, I'm not fad by any means,
but I could afford to lose a couple of pounds.
And here's what I'd end up doing. I'd go to
America Charlie and be like, Oh that's new, Oh that's new.
Can I get that? Can I get this? Can I get?
(37:07):
And then I They'll have to wheel me out. Happens
to me all the time. But either way, thank you
to them for sponsoring our Red Fridays today. Don't forget
coming up in an hour number three of the show,
we do have our friends from America in View, will
be on for our normal Friday edition with them and
also in the Friday hour. And look, I'm trying to
(37:29):
stay as focused as I possibly can for at least
the next hour of the show so that I don't
completely lose it because I'm going to I am. I
am going to most likely lose it because today is
one of a couple of very emotional days for me.
Today is the tenth anniversary of the phone call that
I got letting me know that they have a kidney
(37:49):
for a kidney transplant. It's the day that started off
a series of events that essentially saved my life. I mean,
I have been somebody who is been able to experience
seeing your own mortality. Uh and and that's a scary thing, really,
truly is. So we'll talk about that coming up later on,
(38:10):
because it's something that I am very open about and
open about it for a reason, has nothing to do
with with me, but it has to do with with
honoring the person and honoring those that that also, you know,
have given that gift of life. So we'll talk about
that coming up later on. In the meantime, more of
(38:33):
just this insanity that's coming out of the left and
and just their stupidness. Donald Trump, by the way, has
now officially labeled Antifa domestic terrorist groups. So that's gonna
be interesting to see how that rolls out in the
next couple of years, because there's been a resurgence of
Antifa ever since Donald Trump became re elected as president.
(38:54):
And then you've got Donald Trump came out in his
truth social post and talked about how Elon Omar's country
of Somalia is plagued by a lack of central government control,
persistent poverty, hunger, resurgent terrorism, piracy, decades of civil war, corruption,
persuasive violence, seventy percent of the population lives at extreme poverty,
(39:15):
and widespread food insecurity. Somalia is consistently ranked among the
world's most corrupt countries, including America. Look, I'm just saying
they are. We are our government's corrupt, but also include bribery, embezzlement,
and dysfunctional government. All of this and elon omer tells
us how to run America. Ps. Wasn't she the one
(39:38):
that married her brother to order in order to gain citizenship?
What scum we have in our country telling us what
to do and how to do it? Thank you for
your attention to this matter. Pick America great again. By
the way, that line just absolutely kills me. And thank
you for your attention to this matter. How Donald ends
(40:00):
everything with that, it's so funny. But you know what,
elon Omar, she is kind of worthless. And of course
the left response to that is, oh my gosh, she
never married her brother. It's a blatant lie. Well, Donald
Trump is actually ordered for that to be investigated. You
want to say that it's an absolute lie. And this
(40:21):
Brian keristine dip wad influencer on the left there say
Trump is a racist scumbag. Now elon Omar is a scumbag.
You know, it's amazing how all of a sudden she's
worth millions. How did that happen? Interesting, isn't it? And
if she did, in fact marry her brother just to
(40:44):
gain some sort of citizenship here in the US, that
should be looked into. Now, if she didn't marry her brother,
then that will come out at an investigation and you
can come out and say Donald Trump was wrong, was
that she didn't marry her brother. He married her to
(41:07):
get it right? Okay? Either way, that is one of
those things that you do, which is which is a
against the law to do. Uh yeah, I mean there's
there's immigration stuff where and it's kind of like a
gray line of the whole like marrying somebody just to
get citizenship. That's that. That's a whole other conversation that
(41:28):
we don't have enough time to get into. But he's
called for the investigation. So rather than getting out there
and just saying, oh, that he never married her brother,
this is a blatant line. Trump's a racist scumbag. Why
don't you just come out and say, all right, cool, thanks,
let's investigate it. Let's look into it. Because if she's
got nothing to hide, then no big deal.
Speaker 4 (41:49):
Right.
Speaker 7 (41:52):
Also, some more explosions going on in in the the
the hearings in the Capitol Building. We'll talk about that
coming up in a little bit. I got some audio
for you who squad members. Squad members are getting to
a point where they are desperate, desperate to hold on
to some sort of relevance and it's not working out
(42:13):
too well. Wait till you hear this exchange that went
down between Rashida Talib and Byron Donald's. That girl lost it.
I mean she lost it. But first we got to
take a break for here our top of the hour. Here,
we'll be right back. This is the Brian Rushio and
you're listening to the Florida Man Radio Network. Be right back.
Speaker 2 (42:38):
Brian Must's name, you know the brand line up the
airways in this one, melting snowface with the fiery head
talking truth.
Speaker 11 (42:55):
You can't always stand fast.
Speaker 2 (43:03):
Show from coast to coast. Got the facts, but it
ain't no boast can't give up the chains and give
him a toast to the man who roast the most.
Speaker 1 (43:13):
Knock it off. It's rust on.
Speaker 12 (43:15):
Me, burning Rayelac Carera scenes the command of don't free
frame in the Tosh Silver Street.
Speaker 3 (43:31):
The first words that sparked the flame.
Speaker 2 (43:35):
Nothing never stays the same breaking down laws of shame.
Ryan rust is here a claim voices rise of Finion.
So through the censor to the court, allosicians cheap the
score for Brian's battling in this war.
Speaker 1 (43:54):
Knock it off. It's rust on.
Speaker 12 (43:56):
Me purty ryle like carera scene, stick you mind, don't.
Speaker 6 (44:01):
Don't free freak in the social silver stream.
Speaker 7 (44:14):
All right, welcome back to out Umber two of the
Brian Rush Show here at Florida Man Radio Network. Are
you ready? Are you ready for probably the greatest minute
in fourteen seconds of entertainment of the entire week. Get
the popcorn ready, Get the coffee ready. Rashida Talib deciding
she was going to be I don't know what she
(44:36):
was deciding, to be honest with you, but her and
Byron Donald's got into it in a house debate and
ooh it got heated. Roll that beautiful bean footage, shall we.
Speaker 13 (44:49):
I think it's really important we need to stand up
against this fascist takeover. That's not a bad word, it's
a fact.
Speaker 5 (44:57):
Some Well, the gentle lady yields to a question.
Speaker 13 (44:59):
Yeah, I think it's really important. Well, the general lady,
don't you know, I don't even have time.
Speaker 5 (45:04):
I can tell you it's.
Speaker 7 (45:07):
No, No, it's just wrong.
Speaker 5 (45:09):
Chairman, I think it's insane.
Speaker 4 (45:11):
Doesn't have an argument, But she's gonna refer to me
and some of my colleague mister John and we were
from the third Right.
Speaker 5 (45:17):
This is insane.
Speaker 14 (45:17):
It's insane.
Speaker 5 (45:19):
It's insane. It's insane. Do I look like a member
of the third Right? To you, mister Lee plea? Is
that what I look like to you? You're the one
taking your Is that what you think? Is that?
Speaker 1 (45:28):
What you think?
Speaker 5 (45:29):
Is that what you think? I think it's radical, and
I think it's insane, and I don't respect everything that
you're saying. But to say something like that to myself
a lot of my colleagues is way out of line.
It's way out of line. It's way out of the
miss way out of line. That's okay, but it's okay, right,
it's okay. Right, you hold yourself accountable before you talk
about my self accountable. Old Gerald's self accountable? How about that?
(45:53):
Old Gerond?
Speaker 13 (45:55):
Hey, DC, make sure you're with your own voting card.
Speaker 2 (45:59):
Don't are you giving it to somebody?
Speaker 1 (46:04):
Wow?
Speaker 7 (46:09):
Girl? You okay? You you okay? Do you need a hug?
But of course in that that whole thing, and it
was it was slightly edited in the beginning a little bit,
but she was basically going on again calling the Trump
administration a fascist and and maga fascist and all this
(46:29):
other stuff. And Byron Donalds finally had it. He was like,
hold on a second, hell lot of second, We're not
doing that, and Tammy, you're right, these meetings are becoming
an embarrassing jokes. They're not getting anything done. They're not
getting a damn thing done. And the fact that you know,
(46:50):
Byron Donalds had called her out on that that you know,
you're calling us Nazis, you're you're and and people are
are sick and tired of it too. The the American
people are sick and tired of this whole Hitler thing.
And that's the only argument that the left has is, oh,
it's all hitler, hitler, hitler, hitler, hitler. But Rashida Talib,
(47:14):
she just squawking chickens. That's what she sounds like. And
I don't know if anybody noticed her comment in there
she said that Washington, DC is full of criminals. Yes
they are, and what have you done, By the way,
(47:36):
what have you done, Rashida Talib? Can we look into
you a little bit, and the idea that you would
call fifty percent of the country Nazis and constantly make
that reference of Nazism in comparing Donald Trump to Hitler.
(47:57):
But what I also love is when they deny it,
when they're like, no, we've never said that, like fed
Boy Pritzker JB. Pritzker, the governor of Illinois. This week,
he's now denied that he has ever compared Republicans or
(48:17):
Donald Trump for that matter, to Nazis, despite the fact
that there has been. And politicians, just to remember this,
everything is recorded, whether it be a stupid outburst like
you just had on the one of the House hearings,
(48:40):
every word is recorded. Not only is it recorded in audio,
it's recorded in video, and it's also transcribed, which is
official government records, so we can always go back to
what it was that you said. But on top of that,
no politician goes out and talks to the American public
(49:03):
without it being filmed, and they seem to constantly forget
that we we have that. Oh hang on to say,
let me let me pull up that YouTube video. Oh, look,
there it is. But Pritzker got busted again with, uh,
(49:26):
what's that word again, it's an F word. Oh yeah, facts,
the thing that they hate so much. And he was
speaking in a press conference on Monday where he rejected
the accusations that he labeled Republicans as Nazis, and he said, no,
I have not. That is completely false. I have never
called Republicans Nazis. That's what Republicans would like to say.
(49:48):
They're lying. They're lying. Well, that's what I called them.
That's not what I called them. He said. However, when
you again go into the recordings and the public appearances
that Pritzker has done, you seem to find a different
(50:09):
kind of story. Here we go with these facts again.
On February twenty eighth through twenty twenty five, just not
too long ago, he appeared on The View where Pritzker
claimed that Trump was tearing down the constitutional democracy in
the same way Adolf Hitler did. What was that a
comparison to Hitler? There's one. He also further argued that
(50:34):
the Trump administration approach to governance mirrored the dismantling of
the democratic institutions during the Nazi era in a post
that he put on X dated October twenty third, twenty
twenty four, just ahead of the presidential election. Prisker wrote
that Trump praises and romanticizes Hitler and described him as
(50:55):
a dictator in waiting. He also added that the way
Donald's Trump praises and romanticizes Hitler is unhinged, disturbing, and disqualifying.
He is a dictator in waiting. We know exactly what
he'll do if he's in power. Again, it cannot happen,
all right, Well, that was just a couple incidents, right, No.
(51:16):
April twenty eighth, the twenty twenty four during an interview,
and again this is during an interview. This isn't one
of those you know, we're out at the bar having
a couple of drags.
Speaker 5 (51:27):
Ah that damn.
Speaker 7 (51:28):
Donald Trump thinks he's Hitler. No, no, no, you're doing this broadcasting.
You're doing this in an interview where you're saying these things.
April twenty four, twenty twenty four, during an interview to
interview with the Circle back Saki, he said that the
rhetoric that is being used by Donald Trump, the rhetoric
that is being used by some of the MAGA extremists,
(51:49):
is the rhetoric that was used in the nineteen thirties
in Germany I'm very concerned about the direction of the
country if we see policies like what Donald Trump is
espousing come to light for our country. Are we done yet? Nope,
We're not done yet. December twenty third or December of
twenty twenty three on MSNBC again on videotape, he likened
(52:16):
Trump and supporters of the Mega Movement to the rise
of Hitler's regime. For a second, what was the comment? Again,
The comment was, no, I have not That is completely false.
I have never called Republicans Nazis. That's what Republicans would
like to say. They're lying, they're lying. Well, that's not
what I called them. We seem to be in a
(52:37):
couple of examples here if that's exactly what you did there,
fat boy. But he didn't stop. Following the inauguration. In
January twentieth of twenty twenty five, Prisker claimed that Musk
has given a Nazi style salute to the crowd. You
remember that one. Yeah, my heart goes out to you,
(52:59):
My heart goes out to you. Huh wait a second,
can we also roll the beautiful bean footage of all
of the Democrats doing that same thing, including Barack Obama?
Speaker 5 (53:14):
Hmm.
Speaker 7 (53:15):
And of course, when Musk mocked Prisker's weight on X
a few days later, Pritzker responded on January twenty ninth
and saying, I salute at the Wiener Circle, not Nazis.
Anybody know where I can get something to eat? Yep,
you can get it right over there. You get right
(53:37):
over there. You can get all you can eat, fat boy.
And of course the governor's denial of all of this
comes along all kinds of scrutiny that's happening following the
political rhetoric after Charlie Kirk was killed. And it's sad
to watch the left where they do this because you know,
(53:58):
for obvious reasons what happen to Charlie Kirk is is
a horrific thing. And when they get busted talking about
how the fact that you know your rhetoric is what
is bringing to this, or they turned around and they
say the whole reason for why Charlie Kirk got shot
and killed was because of the rhetoric that he was saying. Really,
which exact rhetoric was it that that Charlie Kirk was
(54:20):
saying that was so bad? And we've yet to see this,
And I keep asking the question, where is the rhetoric
that was so bad that Charlie Kirk deserved to be
shot and killed in front of his family? Where was it?
Speaker 15 (54:33):
Where?
Speaker 7 (54:34):
Where's that? Example? Can somebody show us the speech or
the cell phone video of a conversation that Charlie Kirk
was having when he was talking about how ah, yeah,
you know what, we need to wrangle up all those
Jews and get him into a gas chamber and be
done with him. Can't stand him. Oh you know what
else we need to do. We need to wrangle up
(54:55):
all those gay people and throw them in that chamber too.
Where Where is that? Where? Where is all of the
horrible rhetoric that Charlie Kirk had said that that that
led to and made it so that he deserved to
be shot and killed? There is nothing why because Charlie
(55:19):
Kirk disagreed with you on something.
Speaker 5 (55:22):
But you know it was.
Speaker 7 (55:22):
Always wild when you watch Charlie Kirk and and he
would get attacked for his his religious and beliefs, and
and he would say, look, yeah, yeah, I have my
religious beliefs. I have my belief but let's talk about
this on facts, factual. Let's not let's not go it's
all about facts. But the left hates that. They they
can't stand that at all. But during the press conference
(55:45):
that Pritzker had on Monday, he he called on Trump
now to condemn the political violence in the wake of
Kirk's assassination, which he has. But it's not Donald Trump
that needs to condemn the political violence. Is the Left
that needs to tell their own people to stop it.
(56:06):
When the left's people are on a daily, daily regiment
of hatred, dishing out towards Donald Trump and dishing out
towards Maga, it doesn't matter what Donald Trump says. Donald
Trump can take to social media, can take to a
national address, go stand in front of Congress and say, hey,
(56:30):
tone down the political violence and the political rhetoric. And
you know what the left is gonna say, f you,
Donald Trump, don't care about you. You're a dictator, You're
a Nansi. We're not gonna listen to you. See here
you are again trying to be an authoritarian and telling
us what to do. Where's the left's leadership and coming
(56:56):
out and telling the left tone it down instead, you
hand the left leadership that comes out and they're like,
it's all it's all uh it's all Donald Trump's fault.
It's all Donald Trump. He's the one that's doing it.
It's Donald Trump and the maga people? Really which ones?
Speaker 5 (57:17):
Hang on?
Speaker 7 (57:18):
Let me let me get a fresh piece of paper here. Okay,
you're my sharp a ready, go ahead? Name them? Anyone?
Anybody got the uh, the the people on the right,
the maga people that are that are violent. Anybody got one?
(57:41):
Come on, you guys in the chats, you guys are
always good. Somebody's got to have something right. Oh, oh,
I'm sorry, my bad. Let me uh put the pet
of the paper away here on that one.
Speaker 5 (57:52):
Uh.
Speaker 7 (57:52):
There hasn't been how much time do we have till
the break? Uh minute and a half? Not enough time
to label off all of the ones that have happened
from the left. Every one of the past what I mean,
like fifteen plus mass shootings, every single one of them
has been a leftist. Actually, I don't even remember the
last time that it was somebody with a right ideology
(58:16):
that has done this. I mean, maybe going back to
Oklahoma City, maybe has there been anything else in between?
I don't think there has been. Everybody else that has
committed political violence in this country has been a leftist,
So exactly what is Donald Trump's supposed to do? Come
(58:36):
out there and blame somebody else, Get out there and say, hey,
magat people. I know that you're being attacked on a
regular basis, but you guys have really, you really truly
got to back down on all this political violence because
this isn't working. You know all those cities that burned
down after Charlie Kirk was shot and killed. You know,
all the police cars that got overturned, and the molotov
(58:59):
cocktails that got thrown at the police officers, and the
Starbucks location that Charlie Kirk loved to go to in Arizona.
How he got burned down to the ground. You remember
all of that? No you don't, because it didn't happen.
The Left is pure evil. I mean, the left is absolute,
(59:21):
pure evil. And that's all there is to it. It
really is. All right, we got to take a quick break,
of course, today being a Red Friday where we remember
everyone who is deployed helping keeping this nation safe. Of course,
sponsored by our friends at American Charlie Grill and Tavern.
We will be right back. Good morning, all right, Welcome
(59:50):
back to the Bride Rush Show. Here on Florida had
Radio network of course, today being Red Friday, brought to
you by our friends at American Charlie Grill and Taverick.
Right there shops at Edge, the shops at Edgewater on
Penala City Beach. So I don't know what the hell
happened there. Brain slowed down for a second. So we
(01:00:11):
saw Donald Trump hit yet another one of the Venezuelan
boats that was trying to come up into our country.
As we have seen the intelligence community saying that, yes,
it was full of drugs, it was full of terrorists.
The the TDA members and of course the left believe them.
(01:00:32):
The left would be like, oh my god, how did
you say that a terrorist organization, a socialist regime like
in Venezuela would ever lie to us. Oh my god,
they would never do anything bad for us. Hey, how
about the apartment complex that the TDA has taken over.
Oh my god, they just needed someplace to live. You
don't understand something so mean. Donald Trump's a Nazi. But
(01:00:56):
the Venezuela's socialist regime has now released a five page
statement regarding Tuesday's latest attack on drug boats that were
trying to head up towards America, and during this little
five page rant, they were basically saying that the evidence
(01:01:16):
of drug trafficking is a Hollywood lie. That's all it is.
It's just a lie. It's not I mean, look, we're
in Venezuela. We wouldn't be doing any drugs. Sorry, let's
ask the question then, before we even get any further.
What were the boats doing? Where were they heading? Were
they just going out around the block or something, going
(01:01:38):
out fishing? Is that what they were doing? I mean,
you do understand that the United States of America has
the ability from space to look down to see if
you got rid of that blackhead on your nose. You
think that we weren't following them? Do you think that
we didn't watch the boats get loaded. Do you think
(01:02:00):
that we weren't able to scan all the way down
and check them out. We have so many aircraft, surveillance
aircraft in the area as well and everything else, and
you're just gonna lie to us about it. Okay. But
according to the Venezuelan regime, which is now claiming that
throughout the texts that other countries such as Colombia and
Peru are responsible for the drug trafficking in the region,
(01:02:23):
and they may be. I don't think we're going to
deny that Colombia and Peru are not doing that. They are,
but so are you, and you're the issue that we're
talking about right now. But in the statement, it contained
in an imagery and illegitimate self designation, and they're saying
(01:02:45):
that it's unfounded and conduct a contradict official data from
specialized international organizations. Of course, the US Department of State
announced on Monday that President Trump submitted a presidential determination
to Congress does itaing Afghanistan, Bolivia, Burma, Columbia, and Venezuela
as having failed demonstrously during the previous twelve months, and
(01:03:10):
to adhere to the obligations under the International Counter Narcotics
Agreement and to take the efforts required by the nineteen
sixty one Foreign Assistance Act to fight drug trafficking. The
determination cites socialist dictators Nicholas Madure's multiple indictments on narco
terrorism and his ongoing leading role in the Cartel of
(01:03:35):
the Suns, which is an international cocaine trafficking operation run
through the Venezuelan military. Currently, we are offering about a
fifty million dollars reward for information that can lead to
Maduro's arrest or at least somebody standing on a hill
going fourth house on the left, fourth house on the drone,
(01:03:57):
fourth house on the left, that one there. Yeah, that's perfect,
at least that information. And of course we saw the
TDA and everything else that's going on, and they're trying
to deny it.
Speaker 5 (01:04:13):
It all.
Speaker 7 (01:04:13):
It's all Hollywood. What's that? Ask the US Coast Guard.
They might have a different opinion. Yeah. And of course,
this week's military operation comes just days after another Venezuelan
drug laden vessel was struck in the international waters as
part of President Trump's ongoing efforts to combat Latin American
(01:04:35):
drug cartels in the Caribbean international waters and to curb
the flow of drugs entering the United States. And of
course the left is upset by this. Why are you
doing that? What's the buzzerword again? Anger?
Speaker 8 (01:04:48):
What is it?
Speaker 7 (01:04:50):
You didn't give them the due process? So what's the
due process that you need? Is the due process that
you need? Is it when the drugs make it to
our country, our youth get the drugs, die from the drugs,
or become zombies like they have in California? And is
that the time period when then we go and arrest
(01:05:10):
these people and then we give them the due process. No,
you're attacking our country. You deserve to become a pink
mist It's all there is to it. Enough playing around,
it's time to just say it's over. Do you make
a then again, this is the walking softly with a
(01:05:32):
big stick. Do you show them the big stick like
that and you're good. You will convince them people maybe
it's not the best idea. And if they continue, well
you asked for it. Continue. But again, it's just like
every leftist out there Venezuela blaming somebody else. It's not
(01:05:53):
even real. All the evidence you have, it's fake. We're
a great country here in Venezuela. That's why all the
people are trying to leave it right, That's why even
the criminal element doesn't want to be in that country anymore. Okay, sure,
we'll go with that all right. Coming up in the
next hour of the show, about an hour from now,
(01:06:14):
we do have the Voice from America in view that
will be joining us. We always have a lot of
time talk about when it comes to state politics, national politics,
so we will chat with them because I also want
to get some thoughts in there on the HOA thing.
I have a lot of thoughts on that. We'll talk
about that coming up too, but first we got to
take our bottom of the hour break. We'll be right back.
This is the Brian Rush Show.
Speaker 14 (01:06:34):
Oh that's right.
Speaker 7 (01:06:47):
All right, Welcome back to the Brian Rush Show here
at Florida Man Radio Network. Sometimes there's a headline you
just don't need to see. That was just kind of
peruising through some headlines and I just came up with
this one. Bridget Marcone, the the wife of President Macron
(01:07:08):
over there in France, now to offer the court photographic
evidence proving that she is a woman. Oh dear god,
are we at this point? Are we really at this
point that we need to do that? Of course, if
you didn't know where that one all came from, there
is accusations that Brigette Macron is not actually a woman,
(01:07:33):
and that she's transgender, and there's there's been there's been
a lot of conspiracy about that. But now she is
willing to do photographic evidence. Hang on, you gotta be
kidding me, right, You do understand that part of this
(01:07:58):
whole transgender thing, there's a there's a little procedure it's
called a nip and tuck where where they they they
take and then they write down it and then they
so it. It goes from you know to so photographic evidence.
(01:08:19):
What is what is that gonna do for us?
Speaker 11 (01:08:22):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (01:08:22):
Yeah, like she's got a hoha. It's kind of an
ugly one. That's because it's surgically altered. I mean you
you do understand that. To prove that you are actually
a woman, all you gotta do is say, hey, let
me let me roll up my sleeves a little bit.
Speaker 16 (01:08:41):
Here.
Speaker 7 (01:08:41):
Uh, let's see there's a good vein right there. You
want to do some blood work right there, Go ahead,
do some blood work, do some DNA on that one,
and and and tell me I'm a dude. But the idea,
I mean, that woman makes me just when she's clothed,
the idea of her naked No, no, no, no, no,
(01:09:04):
don't need that. I mean, first off, she's like, what
is she weigh about ninety pounds? The picture will be
stamped Louis Vatant. Probably true, the leather belt that she is.
I mean, it's just I didn't need that thought in
(01:09:25):
my head. This just booh anyhow, Welcome back to the show.
I don't know how we got down that road. It
really don't. It's because I saw the headline, and the
headline just it threw me off. So I don't know
if anybody saw the news on this Turning Point USA
has elected Erica Kirk to now be the CEO and
(01:09:46):
the chairman of the board, which is a good thing.
It's going to keep it in control by the Kirk
family and rather than having some sort of an outside
source or what does some people have called the lieutenants
stepping in because there's a lot of concern about the
Turning Point USA and the direction it will go and
certain people who may want to influence it to do
(01:10:09):
something different. And now with Erica at the helm, she's
going to ensure that Charlie's vision and dream continues on.
And new numbers are rolling in too. Since Charlie Kirk's
horrific assassination a little over a week ago, there are
now sixty two thousand requests to start new chapters across
(01:10:31):
the country. Sixty two thousand requests. That is huge, and
I know here in the Panhandle of Florida there's an
effort by the Moms for Liberty to try and get
them in every school around here as well. And I
(01:10:52):
hope that we can, if not at least every school,
at least get him in as many schools as we can.
But this should be more signs to the left when
it comes to waking up, because America has had it.
Who is going to be doing the speaking? That is
a good question. And here's the thing. When it comes
(01:11:14):
to the speaking, there is not going to be really
another Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk was the nice guy. As
Milo has put it, you guys killed the nice guy.
Now you have us. There's a lot of people that
are gonna step up and take the reins of the speaking.
(01:11:39):
And you know, this time, it's not going to be
one individual. It's not going to be one individual anymore. Instead,
it is going to be an army of people. You're
going to have people like Louder with Crowder is going
to get out there. You're going to have Benny Johnson
is going to get out there. You're going to see
(01:12:00):
so many other people, including my friend Brilin hollahan amazing
young man. He made an announcement yesterday that he is
going to be doing a bunch of a bunch of
tours at colleges. He did a video on it, and
actually let me play the video because I want you
(01:12:21):
to hear the message that this kid that he left
when he when he was talking about the message that
he's going to do. And by the way, he's also
part of his tour, he is going to go to
let's pause that, I want to get the whole thing.
(01:12:42):
One of the places that he's going to be is
at FSU in Tallahassee on November thirteenth. But this is
this is essentially what what what Brylan said regarding the tour.
He's going to do well Top America rollin Holly hints here.
Speaker 15 (01:12:57):
In just a few minutes, this Ste's is going to
announce on Fox, but I wanted to let all of
you hear it directly for me first, I'm excited to
be partnering with Turning Point USA to tour ten college
campuses across this great nation. This semester bolder and louder
than ever before. We were launching one conversation at a time,
traveling to ten college campuses to speak to the next generation,
(01:13:20):
to carry out Charlie's legacy of having hard conversations to
heal the divide. In this country. I could not be
more excited. I fully understand the risk of this. I've
talked thoroughly with my family and my team, and we
are aware that we are in a moment in this
nation where we cannot cower, we cannot be silent, and
we cannot surrender. So for Charlie, we'll see on the
road really soon.
Speaker 7 (01:13:41):
And then he listed all of the places that he's
doing then again, one of them being FSU coming up
on November thirteenth. I'm actually to go out to it.
I'm going to go out and see Brilan at that event.
Nineteen years old, by the way, And if there's anybody
(01:14:04):
who's going to be the nice guy, it's going to
be Brylin. And the sad part about it too, is
that one of the things that he that he had
to point out is that we talked about the dangers
of it. This is the United States of America. That
(01:14:24):
should not be part of the conversation. That should not
be the thing that we say, Hey, we want to
go out and talk about the freedoms that we have
and to protect our country. And by the way, I
had to talk to my family about all the dangers
of me going out to talk to college students. This
(01:14:44):
is the left's fault that we are doing that. And
you're right, day Crowder did start the whole that proved
me wrong thing. And you know, Charlie went out and
he really did the let's have a conversation and he
did it in a much different way. Crowder. I love Crowder,
(01:15:05):
Stephen Crowder, but he can be he can be a
little abrasive, but you know, and that's what they're gonna get.
Speaker 4 (01:15:12):
Now.
Speaker 7 (01:15:14):
Bryland again is probably going to be the nicest one.
I mean, he is just genuinely a great kid. Again
nineteen years old. He will probably be the most religious
factor when it comes to the speeches that will be given.
It'll be interesting to see if Erica does it. But
when you have the other people that again are being
(01:15:38):
talked about, people like Benny Johnson, which I like Benny Johnson.
I like his podcast, but he's also not going to
get out there and quote scripture. He's not going to
talk about religion and faith. He's gonna get out there
and he's going to talk about some facts. It'll be
interesting to see because he does a lot of those
(01:15:59):
man on the street, which I've always liked, but they're
not the same thing as Charlie Kirk and Louder. With Crowder,
we know how he'll get with things. And then there
is the queen of them all, Milo, who's already come
out and done one debate. And by the way, for
somebody who always talked about how fabulous he is, dude Treadmill,
(01:16:23):
I'm just saying, I mean he's he's chunked up a bit.
Get yourself in some good shape. But then again, maybe
he was. He was wearing bulletproof vest, which is another
thing we shouldn't have to do.
Speaker 12 (01:16:36):
That.
Speaker 7 (01:16:36):
We shouldn't have to wear bulletproof vest to be able
to go out and talk to the people. I was
doing a search yesterday, by the way, speaking of bulletproof vest,
not that I'm looking for one for myself. I was
just doing some research on something and found a couple
of companies. They're all selling out stuff. Is that that
(01:17:01):
that one of the hottest products that is out there
right now is a bulletproof vest. We shouldn't have to
live in the fear, And of course the fear is
coming from the left by telling us people like Destiny
who got out there and said that every conservative should
be worried every day about whether or not they're going
to be shot. No, no, I don't think we should
(01:17:25):
be like that, but it is gonna be interesting to
see who does take up the the torch, the baton
and run with the the continuing the spreading the message
of communicating and and and having the open conversation and
maybe get things done. Yeah, you're right, Betty Johnson. He
(01:17:48):
is a Christian, but he is nothing like Charlie without
a doubt. But there's a lot of us that you know,
we're going to be pretty blunt. We're gonna be pretty
honest about things. And the nice time is over. We
tried nice, tried nice with Charlie and you killed him.
(01:18:10):
So we're gonna play your game now. Greg Guttfeld on campus.
Can you imagine that one ap that would be? That
would be interesting. I don't know if he's got the
time to do all that type of stuff, but that
would be He would also be a major target, though
he really would. What's that another good show podcast? The
(01:18:34):
Demigonde Project. I haven't seen that one. I'll have to
put that on my list to go check that one out.
So another thing that happened yesterday the Senate passed a
resolution declaring Charlie Kirk's birthday, which is coming up on
August fourteenth, as a National Day of Remembrance, which is
another a good step. But you know, the Left, they're
(01:18:55):
still being nasty about all this stuff with Charlie Kirk,
the fact that they when it was asked, hey, can
we do a prayer when it all happened, and we
got the left throwing temper tantrums not to do it.
I mean, that's a simple thing. What's the name of
the nineteen year old I was talking about? Is he
on Rumble? I don't know if he's on Rumble or not,
(01:19:17):
but his name is Brylin Hollihand and it's a b
R I L y end holly hand. I know he's
on a lot of social media. I know he's on Facebook,
he's on Instagram. I believe he's also on X. I
don't know if he's on Rumble or not. But a
great kid, again, nineteen years old, and he's so smart,
(01:19:41):
and he's so got his stuff together. And I know
that a lot of you have asked me to get
him back on the air because we had a few
interviews with him and I've talked with him about it.
He's also going to school. He's in college now, so
he's in college and doing this mission. This is how
important it is. But I think the left they're going
(01:20:01):
to be shocked by the monster that they have woken up.
I mean, now, obviously we don't have the one person,
the one warrior in Charlie Kirk. Instead, now it's going
to be an army of people, an army of people
that are going to take to campuses. Anybody see the
(01:20:22):
the UTU reopened for a class the other day. In
addition to that, they also reopened the area where the
shooting happened, and it is it's heartwarming to see the
to see the reaction from so many young people and
(01:20:45):
this this gives me hope. But again, this is one
of the things that the Republican Party needs to pay
very close attention to. When you see the number of
people that after a tragic shooting that happened on their campus,
they showed up with signs, wearing MAGA hats, wearing the
American flags, and showing their spirit. I mean, granted, Utah
is a very conservative state anyhow, but it's you're constantly
(01:21:10):
seeing the resolve in these young people, and we have
got to encourage these young people to continue, and we've
got to help them out in every possible way that
we can. What's that fixed? Most vests are not level
four and only take pistol rounds. Yeah, I mean there's
a lot of people that are buying buy some vests
that they they're probably not buying the right thing, but
(01:21:32):
we'll see.
Speaker 16 (01:21:33):
Um.
Speaker 7 (01:21:35):
No, it's the spelling of his name again. It's b
r I l y N and it's Holly hand h
O l l y h a n d Holly Hand.
So you can go check him out, a great kid,
give him a follow, and even throw a message and
be like, dude, get on Brian's show again. We've been
(01:21:58):
talking actually with the past couple of days, we've talked
a bit. So there you go, ceb what that's a
funny comment again the comments sometimes you guys cracked me out.
All Right, we got to take one more break before
our top of the hour coming up. The next hour
(01:22:20):
the show we do have the boys from America and
view it. Also. Today I'm going to talk about something
that is that is close. It's personal, means a lot
to me. Today starts the ten year anniversary of my
kidney transplant. This is something that I it's it's one
of the hardest topics for me to talk about, but
(01:22:42):
I do it every year, and I do it for
a reason, not for the sympathies, not for the attention
to me at all, but the attention to what happened
and to honor the person that essentially saved my life.
So we'll talk about that coming up in a little bit.
And I'm telling you right now, look, I've already got
(01:23:03):
I got my box of Kleenex and a backup roll
of toilet paper just in case, because this box is
down to about a quarter of it left, probably not
could be enough to make it through. So we'll talk
about that and more. It's also a Red Friday. We'll
remember everyone who's deployed. Brought to you by your friends
at American Charlie Grill and Tavern right there in the
shops at Edgewater in Panama City Beach. Going on and
(01:23:24):
check them out. They got new extended hours, plus they
also have their new menu as well, so go check
that out. We got to take that break. We will
be right back. This is the Brian Rush Show.
Speaker 14 (01:23:34):
Oh that's right, all right.
Speaker 7 (01:23:45):
Welcome back to the show. Good morning. It is the
Brian Rush Show on Floor de Man Radio, and of
course it is Red Friday, brought to you by a
friends at American Charlie Grill and Tavern right there in
the shops at its Water in Panama City Beach. Good
check about some I said hello and sent you okay, okay,
So I told you it's coming, told you it's here,
(01:24:08):
and now they're doubling down. And that is the government shutdown. Oh,
it's going to be a government shutdown. It's going to
be the worst thing in the world. And according to
Elizabeth Warren, we are on the verge of a government
shutdown because Republicans refuse to fix healthcare emergency in America.
And I'm on my way to the set it floor
to sound the alarm. Just remember the sounding the alarm
(01:24:28):
is not that little red box. You don't don't pull
the jamal on that one, Okay. But it's funny because
just the other day we were hearing that the reason
for why the government shutdown is going to come about
(01:24:49):
is because the fact that the Democrats did not want
to go along with the continuing resolutions, which pisses me
off because We've said it over and over again, no
more continuing resolutions. We want to actually have a budget,
get it done, and they don't do it. But the
thing that the Democrats are now wanting, the Democrats want
(01:25:11):
to have health care for illegals, and that's one of
the things that the Republicans are saying, No, we don't
need to be giving the healthcare to illegals. And the
Republicans are trying to trim some some fat in there,
and again, here are the Democrats not standing up for you,
(01:25:34):
not addressing your health care needs, not addressing the fact
that healthcare is expensive for you, because remember their idea,
the Obamacare is the reason for why things are so
damn expensive in the health care industry, because there's nothing
affordable about the Affordable Care Act. And what they're doing
(01:25:57):
now is trying to say that, you know, oh it's
it's the Republicans. They're not going to to give you know,
health care to the illegals, and we've got to take
care of that, and we got to do this. No
we don't. And this is the thing that Doose has
provided both parties with plenty of money to trim back
(01:26:20):
and read the room, Read the room, the American people.
When they keep finding out all the things that Doze
was discovering and the things that the Democrats were spending
money on, they were getting more and more angry every
single day. And what do you do. You double down
on going after and protecting illegals, going after and protecting
(01:26:44):
those that commit crimes, and not take into consideration the
American people. And you're right, give it to the illegals,
the hell of the Americans. That is the motto of
the Democrats. The Democrats are not doing anything for the
American people. Again, like we talked about yesterday, what is
(01:27:05):
the Democrats done for the gay community on the left? Nothing?
They're worse off if you're in the gay community, you're
worse off to be on the left than you are
in the right. If you're black in America, you're worse
off to be on the right or on the left
than you are in the right. What have they done
for the black community in this country? Absolutely nothing. They
(01:27:28):
lie to them over and over again and give them nothing.
They continue to side with the illegals, to continue to
side with those that commit the crimes, but they don't
take care of the American people. So I think maybe
It's time for the American people to take care of
the Democrats. Vote them out right. No one is illegal
(01:27:53):
unless you're here illegally. All right, We got to take
a break for our top of the hour. We'll be
right back just a minute.
Speaker 4 (01:27:59):
That.
Speaker 7 (01:28:00):
This is the Brian Rush Show on Florida Man Radio Network.
Good morning, thanks for joining us.
Speaker 1 (01:28:10):
Brian Russell's name, you know the brand.
Speaker 2 (01:28:16):
Lining up the airways in this one, melting snowface with
a fiery head talking truth.
Speaker 11 (01:28:26):
You can't always stand fast to the show from coast
to coast.
Speaker 2 (01:28:37):
Got the facts, but it ain't no boast can't deal
the change and give it toast to the man who.
Speaker 1 (01:28:43):
Roasts the moves. Knock it off. It's rust on me?
Speaker 5 (01:28:47):
Put in mylack care of scenes.
Speaker 6 (01:28:50):
Did you mind, no, don't free frame in the talk

Speaker 3 (01:28:55):

Speaker 2 (01:29:06):
Nothing never stays the same, breaking down laws of shame.
Speaker 1 (01:29:12):

Speaker 2 (01:29:17):
So through the censor to the court, all Xiians keep

rough shold me, honey, rylock care saints, did you mind
don't don't free fray in the scial Silver Street.
Speaker 7 (01:29:45):
All right, welcome back to our number three of the show.
It is Friday, and of course it's a Red Friday
where we remember everyone deployed, sponsored by our friends in America,
Charlie Grill and Tavern. It's all also a tough day
for me. It's also gonna be hard for me to
(01:30:06):
get through this, it really will. So bear with me.
And if you cry, it's okay. Even if you're a guide,
you cry, it's okay. Today marks the tenth anniversary of
the phone call that I received that changed my life.
(01:30:27):
Coming up on Sunday will be the actual tenth anniversary
of the kidney transplant that I got. It's a phone
call and a message that I will never ever forget
the words because I got to hear it in a
voicemail over and over again, because I missed the phone call.
(01:30:48):
Of all the phone calls in the world for you
to miss out on, this is the one that you missed.
But thankfully I only missed it by about two minutes
and I called him right back. But the message that
I got was Brian, we have a kidney for you.
Give us a call now. Initially, I was, I was busy,
(01:31:14):
and I had a lot going on at the time.
The last thing that was going to cross my mind
because I had been put on the kidney transplant list.
And one of the things about my story my story there,
it's it's very unusual, by the way, if I ignore
the comments, and I may end up even have to
look away from them because some of your comments get
(01:31:37):
me even more emotional. But my story is different from
what the average story is. And yes, the tissue box
is right here. I get a lot of people that
(01:32:01):
asked me to well know, okay, I get I get
asked all the time to tell my story about my transplant.
What happened now, To give you an idea, it was
about when I was twenty one when we discovered. Ironically,
it was twenty one when I discovered that I only
(01:32:22):
had one kidney, and it was kind of a funny
story of how we discovered it. It was one of
these things where I was driving back and forth from
Rhode Island to Western Massachusetts a lot. So I was
in my car and I started getting lower back pains
and finally went to the doctor and said, hey, back hurts.
(01:32:45):
So they did a test on me and it was
one of those those nuclear iodine tests where they run
all the stuff through and generally technicians and nurses and stuff,
they're they're pretty good about not saying anything. You know,
they'll they'll see something in your cat scan or your
ultrasound or whatever it might be, and you know, they
(01:33:07):
don't say anything. They'll they'll be like, and you know,
if you've ever gone through anything like this where they go, Okay, well,
you know, we're gonna get this stuff to the doctor
and they're gonna review it and they're going to give
you a call. No, my nurse just happened to go, huh,
you only have one kidney, at which point I looked
up and I said what She's like, Yeah, you've only
got one kidney, not knowing at the time that the
(01:33:29):
issues that I was having was because of the one kidney.
So it was kind of an ironic thing that we
found out that I had the one kidney. So that
there then set off a chain of events that went
on for many years. And of course we're now talking
about got how long was it, thirty years ago? Whatever
(01:33:50):
it was when we found out that I only had
one kidney, and then they discovered that you know, the
pains were actually coming from the kidney. It was a
kidney thing that was going on. What is it? I
don't know, we'll figure it out. It took close to
probably close to ten years before the doctor actually discovered
(01:34:14):
what was wrong, and what I had was a kidney
disease called FSGS. Don't ask me for the medical term
of that, because I foo bar those words up every time. Basically,
what my kidney disease was was a it was a
scarring of the kidney filter kind of essentially in the
in the the most layman terms possible that I can
(01:34:37):
give you is that So eventually, what ends up happening
with the kidney is that it it will eventually fail,
and you know you're gonna have one of a couple
of options. One is being on dialysis, two is getting
a transplant, and three is dying. It's the only options
you've got. There's no reversing it, there's no changing it.
(01:35:00):
There's a slight slowing it down, but in the end
you either dialysis, transplant, or die. That's it. Yeah, thanks lord,
but I'm still not going to try and pronounce it.
I know it's vocal segmental glomerul sometho sirrhosis. It's it's
the scarring of the kidney tissue. Now some statistics for
(01:35:24):
you on this. There are about thirty five million Americans
that have some form of a kidney disease. It's a
kidney disease that they are they're not even aware that
they have. And like I said, I was twenty one,
just had a back pain, couldn't figure it out. It
took them ten years to figure out what it was.
Once they figured it out, they put me on a
(01:35:44):
regiment of medications because that's what you do in America
education on that and finally it took my nephrologist here,
doctor Scott Dean, who has been amazing for me for
the past fifteen years here in Panama City. He's awesome.
(01:36:07):
They discovered what was going on. They they obviously adjusted
medications and we went through that and as the years
went on, the kidney started to deteriorate. And like I said,
it was it was one of only a couple of
things going on. You're gonna go on dialysis, you're gonna
get a kidney transplant, or you're gonna die. That's all
(01:36:27):
there is to it. And I can tell you now
the words that came out of his mouth. I've always
been a very tough person when it comes to a
lot of medical stuff and other things. Dealt with things
throughout my life, so not a big deal. So when
the doctor finally said to me, as we approach the
final stages of kidney failure, he said to me, you're
(01:36:48):
gonna have to go on a transplant list. You're gonna
have to get transplant. And being the tough guy that
I can be, I was like, Okay, sure, not a problem.
What do we gotta do? That was my reaction. Sure,
what do we got to do? And we went through
the process. You told me what we're gonna do. They're
(01:37:09):
going to contact them. You know which one do I
want to do? Do I want to do the Mayo Clinic?
Do I want to do Shans? Do I want to
do Alabama? What do we want to do? We went
through all the options. We decided we're going to go
with Shans or not Shans Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, and
that's who we're going to go through. So we went
through that, set up all the appointments to go through
and then it hit me, And it didn't hit me
(01:37:35):
until I was alone. And it's a tough thing for
for really anybody to hear. And it doesn't matter if
it's if it's a kidney transplant, or if it's some
other type of terminal kind of potential diagnosis. But when
you hear that, you know you're gonna have to do
this otherwise you're going to die. And we're eventually you
(01:38:00):
will be put on dialysis. But anybody who's ever experienced
dialysis or knows anything about dialysis, it's it's a miserable
life to be it. So as I sat in my car,
I uh, I lost it, absolutely lost my mind. I
(01:38:20):
don't think I've ever cried that much in my life.
It was that bad. But being the person that I am,
try to stay as positive as I can. And and
and I'm kind of a fighter to say the least.
Speaker 1 (01:38:35):
And I I fought it.
Speaker 7 (01:38:38):
I said, Okay, let's do this. We're not gonna We're
not gonna woe is me. We're not gonna cry about it,
we're not gonna be upset, we're not gonna be doom
and gloom. We're gonna do it. We're gonna fight it,
we're gonna go. And that's what I did. And again,
my doctor is amazing, this team is amazing. We went
to the Mayo Clinic. They are absolutely amazing. And like
(01:39:00):
I said, the story that I don't like to talk
about because it gives a false hope because unfortunately, right now,
there's about one hundred and three thousand people in America
that are currently on the list for kidney transplants, and
out of those one hundred and three thousand, there's about
twenty seven twenty eight thousand a year that will actually
(01:39:21):
get a transplant. So you can imagine what happens to
the rest of the seventy five thousand people. They either
continue on dialysis and lead generally not a very good
healthy life, or they succumb to it. And it's a
(01:39:43):
tough thing to think about, especially when you get put
on that list. But a lot of people talk to
me and they say, hey, tell me your story about it.
And my story is a little bit different, and I
don't know how you want to say it. If it
was you're lucky or you were blessed, it was meant
to be a lot of people have told me that
(01:40:04):
there's reasons for it, and maybe it is. Maybe there's
a reason for why my story happened to me, and
you know, I continue to do what I could do
to make life in the world better because of what
happened to me. Generally, you will be on that list
for three to seven years. Three to seven years is
(01:40:25):
when you'll be on that list. The best hope that
you can sometimes have is that you will find somebody
that is a living donor. But out of the twenty
eight thousand that happened every year of the of the
of the kidney transplants, it is only about sixty five
hundred of them that come from living donors, which means,
like me, your transplant is going to come from what's
(01:40:49):
called a cadaver donor somebody who has died. And with me,
I was on the list for about six months rough
roughly six months before I got that phone call. And
again that phone call is it's tough. It's tough to
(01:41:12):
get that call. And like I said, initially, I was
kind of thrown off by it a little bit with
the whole you know, hey, Brian, we got a kidney
for you. I mean, just what a kind of a
random kind of conversation is that. And of course then
I called them back and I talked to them a
little bit. They explained everything to me. They they asked
me if it's something that I want, and what did
I do? I think my mother. My mother and my
(01:41:34):
boss at the time were probably the two that wanted
to slap me because I said, I don't know what
should I do? Should I take it? Because they also
give you all of the all of the scoop. They
tell you not who it's from, but they give you
a brief about where the kidney is coming from. They
(01:41:55):
talk to you about a few details, and then you
have to make that decision. Do you want to accept it?
They tell you all of the bad things that can
happen as well, and there's trust me, there's a lot
of bad things that can happen. So I said yes,
and they said, okay. It's now about four point thirty
in the afternoon on a Saturday, and they said, you've
(01:42:16):
got to be in the emergency room at the Mayo
Clinic by six am tomorrow morning. Things go fast. So
on Sunday morning, I'm there. I was again my story
not like everybody's. I was lucky enough. I had a friend,
Danny Dunn, who flew me in his plane without charging me.
(01:42:43):
Flew me over to Jacksonville so that I was there quickly,
so I didn't have to drive out there, and I
got there, And ironically, another thing with the story too,
is that my baby brother was going to be a donor.
He was going to donate his to me, and he
he was scheduled to actually come down roughly about the
(01:43:04):
time that the whole transplant happened. I mean, it's incredible miracles.
So the kidney transplant happened on Sunday morning. Took a
while for it to go through, and it happened, and
I do consider myself very blessed. But there is something
that is very hard about this, and to be honest
(01:43:27):
with the I am surprised that I am as together
as I am at this point. My kidney came from
a young woman that to this day, I still don't
know who she was. I don't know much about her
other than the very basics of what the transplant team
could tell me. But it is because of this young
(01:43:51):
woman who I was told was about twenty twenty one
years old, who something happened to her that cost her
her life, and because of the uh because of the
(01:44:17):
incredible sacrifice of that person who decided that when I
am no longer here, I want by organs to go
to someone else to help them because of her. And
there has not been a There hasn't been a single
day in the past ten years that I have not
thought about her. They say that you know, nothing really
(01:44:42):
changes with your body and everything else other than you know,
obviously better function. But that's not true because for the
past ten years I've always felt her there. She's always
been there. And again, I don't know her name, I
(01:45:05):
don't know anything about her. I don't know where she
was from. I don't know what happened to her. It's
just information that I never did get. But again, I
have never gone a day in the past ten years
without thinking about her, without knowing and being thankful for
the fact that her losing her life and her donating
(01:45:31):
her organs saved my life. I was approaching that point
of the kidney function that it was going to fail completely.
It was right there, and because of my angel, I
am here today ten years later. I wouldn't have been
(01:45:52):
if it wasn't for her. And one of the things
about the kidney with her, which makes it even more special,
is that it was what's called a perfect mismatch zero mismatch,
which means it was as if she was my sister.
(01:46:14):
That's how perfect it was. And that's one of the
things that that that reminds me every day of just
how blessed I am. And again, I don't generally get
into religion on the show at all. I have my
faith and I and I keep it to myself, but
(01:46:36):
I have been very much so blessed, and I have
been touched by an angel, and I honor her every
day by thinking about her, knowing that if it wasn't
for her and her losing her life, I would not
be here. And it's a it's a very tough thing
(01:46:59):
to you to also experience.
Speaker 4 (01:47:02):
You know.
Speaker 7 (01:47:02):
It's very easy for you to go, all right, this
is great, this is awesome. I've got a new kidney.
My life is going to be fine. But when you
stop and think about it, this is a young woman
whose life was cut short for whatever reason, and because
of that, my life continues. That is one of those
(01:47:23):
things that it's hard to not it's hard to not
think about that. And when when you really put some
deep thought into the fact that somebody else had to
die in order for you to continue living, that is
(01:47:48):
a that's a tough thing to swallow. It really is.
I thought it was bad enough when I was told that, hey,
you're gonna have to have a kidney transplant, but knowing
again that this young woman lost her life so that
(01:48:10):
I can continue on and not only myself, but you know,
when you typically when you do organ donations, it helps
several people. Will I ever get to meet the family,
I don't know. I've not heard anything back. I'm gonna
ask again. And you know, one of the things that
(01:48:33):
I do every year, there's two things that I do
every year. I always will write a post and you
will see it here in the next couple of days
of my social media when I talk about this and
I thank her and I talk about her. But every
year I write her a letter. It's a letter that
(01:49:03):
I will never share. It's a letter that nobody will
ever see. It's a letter that I write to her
every year, just basically thanking her because if it wasn't
for her, pretty sure I would not be here today.
(01:49:30):
And if it wasn't for people like her, there's many
other people who wouldn't be here today. And it's a
it's a very tough thing to to live with. I
can never be selfish in the way of taking that
into consideration or taking that, you know, just selfishly. Again,
(01:49:54):
there's there's never a day that I don't think about
my Angel, that I don't thank her for the ability
to still be here today. And this is one of
the things that we have to think about. I know
that there are some pretty negative things that get out
there about, you know, organ transplants, and it's horrific, and
(01:50:20):
I wish people would stop talking about some of those things.
But there's one hundred and three thousand people right now
that are waiting for that kidney transplant, and seventy five
thousand of them won't get it this year. Becoming an
organ donor is very easy to do. You can do
it online. Just become a donor. That's all you gotta do,
(01:50:40):
and you, too, could save somebody's life. You can make
an impact and make a difference. Because there's no words
that can actually describe the impact that it has made
to me emotionally. It's tough, but I thank my Angel
(01:51:00):
every day and I love her for the sacrifice that
she did in the gift of life that she gave
to me. And I will never ever forget that.
Speaker 16 (01:51:12):
We'll be right back, all.
Speaker 7 (01:51:28):
Right, Welcome back to the show. That was That was
That was a tough segment. Thank you, by the way
for for all the comments. Thank you so much for
listening to that. I just it's it's an emotional time
for where he really is. It's but it's one of
these things that I had to talk about because I
have to honor my angel and I appreciate it. Uh,
(01:51:49):
coming up America in View. We're gonna chat with Brett
and Matt Douster coming up next at the bottom of
the hour, and be right back. I gotta go splash
some more cold water on my face and clean that up.
Hang on, We'll be right back. This is the Brian
Rush Show. Good morning, all right, Welcome back to the
(01:52:17):
Brian Rush Show. I see after that last segment, I
can't even run the controls correctly. I don't know the
hell is going on with me today. Anyhow, Welcome back
to the show, and also want to welcome back to
the show because it is Friday, and that is the
Doster Boys three weeks in a row. Brad Doster. What
is going on?
Speaker 4 (01:52:37):
Hey man, It's all about making you happy, Brian. I
know that was a tough segment for you, the last
the segment you just did, Brian. But I think it's
encouraging to a lot of people. In the midst of
all the bad news and frustrations and politics that we
deal with, we have to remember that we are all
human beings. And it is wonderful whenever you see stories
about people helping each other out.
Speaker 7 (01:52:58):
Yeah, it really is.
Speaker 4 (01:52:59):
That.
Speaker 7 (01:53:00):
It was definitely a tough, tough segment to get through.
Surprise that I actually got through it without being an
absolute ball of tears and snot and you know, Kleenex everywhere.
Maybe I'm getting a little bit better getting through it,
but it's still always a tough thing to get through.
And you know, this has been an emotional week. I
(01:53:21):
mean obviously not just for me. It's it's been an
emotional week for our country. H you know, we're a
week past the Charlie Kirk, you know, assassination, and you know,
the nation and I think the world as a whole
is in a much different place than we were a.
Speaker 17 (01:53:37):
Week ago, much different place, and you know, more and
more information has come out. It's really an unusual shooting,
a terrible prime but just the way that you know,
usually the killer is either killed you know, on site
by law enforcement or takes his own life.
Speaker 4 (01:53:55):
That just tends to be how you see any things
play out. Situation where you.
Speaker 17 (01:54:02):
Know this this guy's going to get tried. He ended
up turning himself in just a weird situation with his
h roommate slash lover of interesting terminology used. But man,
talk about fallout. I know you talked about it on
your show this week already, but talk about the fallout
from just the left kind of losing their mind, not
(01:54:23):
figuring out how to have good manners and good graces
even with somebody they might disagree with, and the heads
of roll and now you've got Jimmy Kimmel off the air,
and just everybody trying to wrestle with what this stuff means.
I mean, I think the encouraging stuff for the movement
is that Charlie Kirk's work is going on. He uh,
you know, it truly is a movement. It's just not him.
There's other people from his wife to have a lot
(01:54:46):
of other a lot of other leaders in that organization
that are that are going forward. And so I think
despite the fact that it'll be really hard to replace
a spokesman like him. Uh, the work is bigger than
any one person and it will continue.
Speaker 7 (01:55:01):
Yeah, that is so true. I mean I think that
the movement that Charlie Kirk started is now going to
be bigger than ever. I mean, it's about sixty I
think of sixty two sixty four thousand new requests for
chapters of it. We've seen more and more people like
Brian Brylan Hollihand and others that are stepping up and
being like, Hey, we're gonna we're gonna run with the baton,
(01:55:22):
We're gonna still do this. So I think he has
probably made him made Charlie Kirk even stronger and more
powerful than ever before, and that's probably a good thing.
But yeah, the meltdown that's coming from the left, I mean,
if there's any time for you to learn to just
shut the hell up, you know, this week was it,
and they just couldn't. I Mean, we now see people
(01:55:44):
like Maxine Waters is now calling for a criminal investigation
into Jimmy Kimmel being fired. It's the worst thing that
we've ever had to the First Amendment, which you know,
people don't realize that even with what Charlie Kirk was
doing that really still wasn't First Amendment related stuff. I mean,
(01:56:05):
he wasn't addressing the government. He was just having conversations
with people that he disagreed with.
Speaker 4 (01:56:12):
Yeah, I think the situation going on with Jimmy Kimmel
and with these other talk show hosts that are being
canceled right now has less to do with the actual
terminology that they're using and more to do with the
fact that these big broad networks are losing so much
market share. I mean, these shows are going into the toilet,
(01:56:32):
and so when Jimmy Kimmel comes out and says some
of the things that he said about Charlie Kirk, it's
kind of like the final straw, Like, Okay, you already
got your audience down to like, you know, ten percent
of the total US audience at that time. You just
took us down to five. We can't afford you any longer.
And you know, in some respects Brian, that's a good thing.
If people thinks that mainstream of America can embrace or
(01:56:55):
appreciate these people should be canceled. It's a business decision.
Speaker 7 (01:56:58):
Yeah, It's totally a business decision, and they have no
clue in their brains whatsoever. They can't figure that out.
And you know another thing that's kind of a business decision,
and we talked about this briefly, and that is hoas.
This is something that has popped up in the past
couple of days. An empty suit. Now where's he in Miami?
Speaker 4 (01:57:19):
Is that?
Speaker 7 (01:57:19):
Where he is? The empty suit that's complaining about this?
The Hiway thing?
Speaker 4 (01:57:25):
That's right, Brian. So it's one for us. Apparently it
had a frustrating experience with his HOA down in Miami,
and he has introduced legislation to basically make an illegal
in the state of Florida. But I agree with you, Brian,
I mean this is this goes to freedom, Yeah, exactly.
I mean you know, I mean, look, at the end
(01:57:46):
of the day, you know, bad government coming from the
left or from the right is still bad government, right,
And you can't tell people they can't organize into a
homeowners association. That goes against every constitutional right that we have.
And so his introducing this bill, I think, you know,
I don't know how seriously it will be treated in
the state legislature, but I agree with you, man, it's
(01:58:08):
a bad idea.
Speaker 7 (01:58:09):
Is he a Democrat or Republican. A Republican, Yeah, idiot,
but yeah, I mean, and this is the type of
stuff that I've been warning too when it comes to
what the Republican Party needs to be doing in Tallahassee
this the next couple of sessions here because with the
big goubernatorial election coming up next year, there's a lot
(01:58:31):
of other state representatives and other people that are that
are running for reelection and they need to be careful
of what they're doing and and try to take this action.
I mean, I've talked with a few representatives, some of
ours and some of their office people, and I've said, hey,
what's what's the story with this? And they just shake
their head and they're like, yeah, empty suit, not going
anywhere because it's just so dumb. Because you know, the
the HOA thing, this is a perfect example just like government.
(01:58:55):
If you're not going to step up and be involved
in your HOA and you're going to allow the hoa
Karens to run things, then you deserve it. You know,
you were the one who's deciding to move into a
community with an hoa for whatever reasons it did. You
want to So if you allow the hoa to run wild,
that's your fault, stand up and do something about it.
(01:59:16):
And the same thing with government. If you're going to
allow government to run wild and not stand up and
do something about it, like vote and get involved, you
get the government that you deserve. So people need to
get involved more.
Speaker 17 (01:59:29):
Yeah, You're exactly right, Brian and bred I've been talking
about this, actually, i'd say the last few shows of
America in View, we've been talking about what happens when
you come into power. Do you just use that power
or do you try to remember those kind of core
principles that conservatives believe in. And like Brett said just now,
one of those things is if you want to organize
(01:59:50):
into an HOA or developer builds homes and comes up
with an HOA structure. I mean, that's just kind of
the thing that you know about and going in right,
you make the decision, do I want to buy this
piece of property that's going to have a few extra
layers of constraints and some rules that I've got to follow,
or do I not. And I'm not making light of
these HOA dramas. I've known people who have had really
(02:00:14):
really silly controversies and drama that they had to negotiate.
But you're exactly right. The answer is not to abolish
our principles. The answer is to get involved and shake
it up and take a leadership role and you know,
organize your neighborhood, whatever it might take to get things
in order. So, yeah, this is this is a silly idea.
(02:00:34):
But if there's a theme there, I guess is what
I'm trying to say. There are other things that we're
seeing going on in the country where you just want
to say, hey, everybody, you know, let's remember that if
people want to do things on a voluntary basis, i e.
Buy a piece of property that's inside of an HOA
and kind of live with that reality. That's that's what
America is all about. Let people do what they want
(02:00:55):
to do and they can live and die by the consequences.
Speaker 5 (02:00:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (02:00:59):
Absolutely, I mean I I understand that, you know, with
some of the drama that happens with Hoa's which, by
the way, how come there's not a reality show on
this yet? I mean, come on, Hollywood, with all the
stupid stuff that you give us, can you at least
give us an hoa reality show which would be freaking hilarious.
But it's one of these things where with all the
drama that we've seen, and I love reading a lot
(02:01:21):
of the Hoa nightmare stories. They make me giggle a
little bit in a twisted, demented kind of way. But
I mean, sure you can say, okay, let's maybe figure
out a way that, you know, if an Hoa does
go wild and crazy and does some things that are
you know, unconstitutional and against the law outside of that
community anyhow, that the Karen that is running the thing
(02:01:43):
is told to sit down and shut up, you can't
do that. But the idea of just abolishing it because
I had a bad experience, that's a bad politician. He
needs to go away, vote him out.
Speaker 4 (02:01:53):
Yeah, it's kind of like this, Brian. I mean, look,
when Republicans are in power sometimes they'll say something like this,
we don't think people should be able to unionize, right,
And when Democrats are empowered, they say, well, we think
people can only work in workplace if they are part
of a union.
Speaker 5 (02:02:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:02:10):
Actually I take the view, look that people should be
able to unionize, but I also believe that employers should
be able to fire at will. So you know, again
it goes back to this, you can do whatever you
want but you have to live and die by your
own consequences, and government's not going to intrude and impose
something on someone on another person's behalf. That's where freedom
(02:02:31):
is violated. So yeah, your point. And I love the
idea about the Hollywood drama right, the reality show. But yeah,
the truth is people know what they're getting into when
they read that head gum homeowners agreement when they move
into that neighborhood, and if they don't like it, they
should either sell or as you said, get involved and
try to take control.
Speaker 7 (02:02:51):
Yep, because it's again it's just like government. You cannot
complain if you don't get involved. I mean, you can
change government just like you canas I mean, you get
you get the majority of the community that stands up
to Karen and is like, no, we're not doing that.
I mean, what is she gonna do?
Speaker 6 (02:03:07):
You know?
Speaker 7 (02:03:07):
I mean, just just stand up to it. If you
don't want to dictators and tyrants, you just get rid
of It's as simple as that. But speaking of property,
let's talk about the property tax. By the way, we're
chatting with bretton Matt Doster three weeks in a row
having both boys, which I'm so excited about it. It puts
me in a better mood from America in View, which
is heard here on Florida Mana Radio twelve noon tomorrow
on Saturday. Property Taxes. What's the latest on this argument?
Speaker 17 (02:03:35):
Yeah, check out and he's our property tax expert.
Speaker 8 (02:03:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:03:38):
I'll jump in here because I turned the time to
actually like read this plan. So Matt, thank you for differing.
I appreciate that brother Mom will be pleased. So here's
the deal, Brian Chamberlain, I got to get him some credit.
He came out and basically said, look, we're never going
to have a reduction of property taxes if we at
least don't have a plan to debate. And he even
(02:04:00):
said he said, look, you know people have been saying
we need property tax reductions. We've got to do something
about it. But everybody's afraid to take the risk of
jumping into the pool first. So he said, essentially, I'm
going to jump into the pool first. So I peeled
back the details on his plan. He actually previewed it
with me a little bit, and so I got a
chance to, you know, see all the bullets he's proposing.
(02:04:21):
First of all, a massive roll back to the twenty
twenty two to twenty twenty three levels for property taxes.
And the reason why he does that is to put
us in a posture of getting relief for everyone, which
I think is more than appropriate given the fact that
property taxes are property tax levies. Revenues have more than well,
(02:04:41):
they've gone up by more than fifty percent stay wide
over the last four years, and places like Bay counting others,
it's been astronomical because of the beach values. So anyway,
so he's got to roll back, and then he's got
a couple of transactionive fees. One is he said, hey,
let's let's do a transaction fee on real estate sales,
kind of like a sales tax. And he said, this
(02:05:03):
can be financed just like you would a boat or
a car over the life of the loan, and it's
not going to add that much more to the purchase price.
And hey, you own your home forever, or you own
your business forever, or your rental property forever. So that
was interesting. He's got another transaction fee, and then he's
got a sales tax addition to basically pay for schools.
(02:05:23):
But all that being said, I know some people are
going to kind of fight with them a little bit
on these consumption taxes. But the reality is he laid
out a pretty credible path and get us to like
no property taxes for anybody in the state of Florida.
So it'll be interesting to see the reactions across the state.
Speaker 7 (02:05:38):
Yeah, it really will. And you know, I'm gonna take
this other side, not that I'm taking it, but I'm
going to argue this other side with this. And we've
talked about this before, and that is the danger behind
getting rid of property tax. I mean, I'm a property owner.
I don't want to pay property tax, or at least
as much as i'm paying. And you know the consequences
of not paying it, I think, are you know, out
(02:06:02):
of line? But where does the money come from? And
I think that needs to be a really big question
because I was following and this is the reason why
it hit me, because I was following an ambulance from
a smaller county the other day and I was thinking,
you know, property taxes go to a lot of that
type of stuff, the fire departments, the police departments, you know,
(02:06:22):
the resources that towns are needed. What's going to happen
when you have a small community that can't afford the
new fire engine, the new ambulance. Is that going to
affect services you know, need any the new truck for
the sewer system or whatever. Else Where is that money
going to come from to be able to provide these services?
And is it going to be an area like Bay
(02:06:44):
County that that does bring in a lot of money?
Is money going to be taken away from us to
be given to another So there's a dangerous side to
this knife I think of just eliminating taxes without thinking
about revenue.
Speaker 17 (02:06:58):
Yeah, you're exactly right, Brian, And I think the one
thing that I've heard several policy makers state and I
have definitely heard Representative Chamberlain say it that there's really
an importance to go slow on this stuff. You don't
do it all at once, and you have to get
the economists and the tax policy experts who really follow
(02:07:20):
the numbers and they can really tell you exactly what
the impact would be. So you're right, because you don't
want to make a change of sleeping change and then
overnight it's like somebody made a mistake and some rural
county that is in need is you know, ten million
dollars short or something like that and they can't pay
for the basic services they provide. So and Brett may
(02:07:40):
have an additional comment, but my commentary there is if
you go slow, you don't do it all at once,
and you know it may take something like a few years,
five years, six years, seven years, whatever to really make
the complete change. I know of other states that are
doing similar things. In fact, the guests that we're going
to have on America tomorrow is a state senator out
(02:08:02):
of the state of Kentucky and he's their budget committee
chairman in the state Senate. And what they're doing they're
eliminating their income tack. They've had. It was a five
percent income tax, and they're doing it. Over time, they're
taking it down by half a percent, but the goal
is eventually for it to be zero. The same exact principle,
do it slow, make sure you get it right, don't
(02:08:22):
have any surprises.
Speaker 7 (02:08:24):
Yeah, because I think there is a big danger, like
even with I know some of the proposals of how
let's up the sales tax and get rid of the
property tax. If you are in a rural community where
the sales tax is very limited because you've got a
dollar general and a gas station and that one mom
and pop restaurant that's not going to cut it for
(02:08:44):
new ambulances and new fire trucks and what happens Where
does money come from for those communities. So it's it's
definitely a tricky thing, and you know, I have to
be careful about it because it's also not fair to
other communities that do have a huge sales tax drive,
like you know, Orlando and and here in Panama City, UH,
(02:09:05):
for the money to be taken away from us to
be given to somebody else. I mean, that's that's kind
of the leftist argument about money redistribution. So definitely taking
it slow is the best way to go with that,
I think.
Speaker 4 (02:09:17):
Yeah, let me just say one comment about that though, Brian,
and this would be a good education for your audience.
So already, like with school taxes, the school property taxes,
that's already happening so bsically, you know, real effort all
communities property taxes through schools. It's also ask you, for
the most part, put into a washing machine, discributed efident students,
(02:09:41):
funny formula. And so I'm pointed to say that the
county right now, the funny school and uh county pas
property taxes you know, bringing a lot more money than
what they have. So any kind of taxes you do,
whether it's a you know, sales tax or whatever, would
have to go back to some sort of state washing
(02:10:01):
machine to be redistributed to these communities so the US
are not left behind. They know how to do it.
It's a pretty good formula, but again, the devil's in
the details, and to your point, and to MAT's point,
you are going to have to take it slow to
make sure you get it right.
Speaker 5 (02:10:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (02:10:15):
And then another danger that you do have, and granted
we're very republican right now, that can change at any
moment if you were to all of a sudden lose
the control of the state government back to Democrats. Democrats
can turn around and say, oh, the Panhandle, which is
very conservative, very republican, and has screwed us over over
(02:10:37):
the years, we're going to give them less money and
we're going to put more money to Jacksonville and to
you know, Orlando and other areas that are you know,
supporting our political agenda. So that can be another dangerous thing.
It's it's one of these We've got to look at
both sides of the sharp knife on this.
Speaker 17 (02:10:55):
Absolutely, Yeah, and you always have to think about that
future scenario. It may feel good right now, but it
might not be in the future. So those kinds of
protections have to be built in.
Speaker 7 (02:11:04):
Yeah, they really do. So America and View again, you
got your guess that's on tomorrow. What else you got
going on for the show?
Speaker 17 (02:11:13):
We're going to just talk a little bit of a
rundown of everything going on in the news. There's been
a little bit more illumination about the Florida open carry situation.
Some of the various sheriffs have been speaking out. Your
sheriff there in Bay County has made some clarification, so
there's going to be a little bit of an adjustment
phase for that. We're going to talk to that a
little bit. We're going to talk about just everything going
(02:11:34):
around with the tragic Charlie Kirk killing from Jimmy Kimmel
to know, everything else going on. And we got an
interest rate cut this week. A lot of yak about that,
may say it's a little bit too late, but you know,
we're making progress in the right direction.
Speaker 7 (02:11:48):
Yeah, and they said that we might even get another one,
so hopefully, hopefully that will happen. But America in View
always gets you filled in. I don't know how you're
going to cram it all in in that short period
of time tomorrow during the show twelve to one, but
it'll be interesting to check it out. America in View
with Brett and Matt Doster. We're on a record now
three weeks in a row of having both boys on
the show, so I'm excited. It's making up for a lot.
Speaker 4 (02:12:12):
We love you, Brian, and we hope you I hope
you have a great week man. We look forward to
talking to you next week if you'll have us.
Speaker 7 (02:12:17):
Absolutely, I'll absolutely definitely have you, even both of you
next Friday, because I want to see if we can
go for an entire month straight. It'll be an amazing thing. Boys,
thank you so much. Have a fantastic weekend. We're going
to talk with you again next week. We got to
take a quick break though. We will be right back.
This is the Brian Rush Show. Good morning, all right,
(02:12:44):
welcome back to the show. Big thanks once again to
the boys from American in View, bretton Matt Doster of
course heard right here on the Florida Man Radio Network
Saturday at twelve noon. Also a big thank you to
everybody for the previous segments as I honored my angel
(02:13:04):
who saved my life. And remember it's very easy for
you to become a donor. All you gotta do is
contact license people and you can become a donor and
save a life. As well. As I go ten years strong,
somebody else could as well. Again, thank you for your
support on that, Thank you for listening to the show.
Have a fantastic weekend. We'll do it all again coming
(02:13:25):
up on Monday. Until then, we will see you later.
It's Brian Rush Show on the Florida Man Radio Network.
