Speaker 1 (00:21):
Good evening, Internet once and welcome once again to the
Broken Lords podcast, where we laughs left our heroes, Midge
Jabranka j Bird to her friends, was hunkered down an
alley while our erstwhile alien compatriot emmis hiring her for
her final mission, is doing some last minute tune ups

(00:44):
to the white wing Dove. But she's concocted a crazy
stunt plan on launching that thing, and Ems is helping
her provide And while she is about to get jumped
by a giant alien tentacle dog, we cut to are
infiltration to Ice Picked Prescott, Ren Bray and Bitsnake Turbo.

(01:07):
They were last seen getting off a floor below the
very very top floor where the elevator they're looking for is.
In the spirit of getting to the good stuff, there's
gonna be a couple inner cutting montage cut scenes of
them finding the right duct in the middle, scrambling everybody
through up and as soon as they close the duck

(01:28):
behind them, the guards start swarming of that floor. They
find themselves on the top of the building in the middle,
effectively of the floor. The elevator they're looking for is
to the north, maybe about one hundred meters maybe two hundred.
Who's counting us? You're cutting? Definitely, you've got an open

(01:49):
pan building. There's always you seem to be in the
main one. There's a couple of turns you're gonna have
to take. It's somewhat quiet, but it's that you know,
that feeling where shit's about go down?

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Yeah, that maybe we should assess the situation.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Do you want to roll dice and assess things? I'll
open up to that page in the book and I
need you to roll me two dice.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Yep, I'm rolling edge. Is this part of the plan?

Speaker 1 (02:15):
No, I'm not gonna give you that for an assess role?

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Okay? Always uh good to ask.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
You don't want to be the bar that forgets it
buff Okay, I'll answer one of these. I'll answer one
of these. So what potential complication do I need to
be wary of? What do I notice to spend and
neffer conceal it? How is blank thing ruble to be?
How can I avoid trouble or hide here? What's the
best way in out or past? Where can I gain
the most advantage poor? What is my biggest threat?

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Po?

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Or what is in control here?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
I think we kind of know who is in control here, right.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Yeah, you can make a pretty big educated guess on
who's in control of the floor. We could make an
educated guess, but I don't know I can answer that
for you if you want to ask that question.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
I only get one though, because I'm it's marginal, so
hence I am hesitant to spend it on that I
was thinking about in weight.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Sorry for it, go for it, go for it?

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Oh, okay, little ominous how you said go for it?

Speaker 3 (03:10):
After he's I was making a dumb comment that was
not oh come on, come on, come on king.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
I don't even remember it now, like, No, that's how
unimportant it was.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
I think he.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Means go for it as and say what you are thinking? Yes,
that is what I was asking you.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Yeah, yeah, I'm thinking what is the way in?

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Out or through?

Speaker 2 (03:31):
But I am open to debate.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Mmm mmmmmmmm. Actually I don't know how much of that
him I could do without getting copyright struck.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
Never mind, Yeah, fair use, I know what you're talking about.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Fair use, Yet I don't think so never mind? All right, Yeah,
in out or through?

Speaker 1 (03:49):
I suppose okay, the northmost hallway, according to the schematics
that you know, is going to get you pretty much
to the elevator that you're looking for. It's quite hue.
You don't hear so much chatter like you're doing that.
The floor is below, this place is somewhere. There are
less entrances to the top floor than there are you know,

(04:10):
the floors below, like you couldn't this was an stare accessible,
for example, and you know that the elevators that would
get to this floor or to the south of view.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Okay, I look at the others. I suppose the crow
fly south, and so must we north.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
The elevators that lead here ourselves, the elevators we need
are north. This is why we don't pay to view stematics.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Let's go, boys, they shuffle out, I will grant you. Actually,
you know what, how stealthy are you guys playing this?
So you guys like, how are you going? And hot?
Are we trying to be creeps? How we feel?

Speaker 3 (04:46):
I would say urgent casual? Like we're not bustling down
every single one of these corridors, but we're not running.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
You're playing that we're supposed to be here card We're
moving with purpose, but not enough to like noise wise
feel like at this point, if we get seen, we're fucked.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Yeah, we're not like running down corridors.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Okay, okay, okay.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
We're moving with intent but not loud. Does that make
sense because.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
All I can see in my head? Oh my god,
who's on point in your squad?

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Isn't it Ren's bag to be the infiltrator?

Speaker 3 (05:22):
I mean, yes, we're not really infiltrating, we're just moving.
But yeah, all right, I mean I'm more of the
pass lots stuff.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Yeah, it's funny to me because Ren is the one
that is hurt the most, and you're like, nah, you
you take point.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
I feel like putting the meat shield up front is
a better idea personally.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Okay, that's fair.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
I thought it would be pretty funny. Though it is funny,
but you know, I get it. Ice Pick, mister Prescott, Yep,
I'm gonna need you to roll act under pressure for me. Okay,
go ahead. I want to lend our glorious leader Mike

(06:03):
silence semi auto pistol so that way he has a
silence weapon in case he needs it. What a nice person,
since I still have my silence tes mg, I'm gonna
stick with the hand cannon all right.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
If I'm firing weapons. Shit's gonna get loud.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
It's already loud special thanks to Toys and Things in Danvers, Massachusetts,
Reaper Miniatures, Off the Wall Games and Hadley, Massachusetts, Games
and Friends in Springfield, Massachusetts, as well as Triple A
Games Arena in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. If you enjoy the show,
