(00:10):
Independent thoughts, independent life. Thisis Chad Benson, not too far away
from debate number one. It's gonnabe tomorrow. For those of you not
keeping scorer, I don't know ifCNN have a countdown clock. Seems like
something they would do. Debate gettingcloser. What's it going to be like?
(00:34):
I don't know they're prepping. Somebodyasked me yesterday, what the hell
is Joe Biden prepping for. I'mlike, I have no idea. Dude,
you've been in politics for two hundredyears. I'll tell you what he's
prepping for. It's prepping for DonaldTrump. The Orange Tornado. Sweet,
(00:59):
that's what he's prepping for. Becausewith Donald Trump, you don't know what's
going to happen. With Donald Trump. You don't know if he's going to
play by the rules. Oh lookat you, Jed, I don't know.
It's we're watching tomorrow night because wewant to see if somebody short circuits
or says something crazy. That's whywe are watching. This will be a
(01:26):
test of physical and mental stamina forboth men. It's the first time either
of them have debated on TV likethis in four years. And this is
all happening as we are waiting onSupreme Court decisions that directly affect Trump,
including presidential immunity. Those rulings couldcome down before the debate. So what
is Trump doing? Well? Rightnow, he's getting sleep, he's running
in the morning, eating riggs. He's doing a lot of speed work on
(01:49):
the bag right, a lot ofthat. He knows that Biden. Right,
He's doing a lot of body work, not as much roadwork as maybe
Trump is doing. But he's alsoI mean, what are you what are
you prepping for? Jim? Idon't know how they're gonna do this.
They're gonna have to stand there forninety minutes behind a podium. Sweet mother
(02:16):
of God, it's crazy. Whatare the rules? Right? So I
think they should call him in.I think I would like to see.
If we're gonna make it a show, let's make it a freaking show.
Walk in music. I mean,we're gonna turn this into idiocracy, let's
do it. Walk in music. They should have ring you know, corner
(02:39):
people, and by the way, every who's with me on this one debate,
Girls like ring girls and guys becausewe wanted to be you know,
equals. So there you go walkingaround, next question, just holding it
(03:00):
up. After they go through thatthing and this next question, next question,
the question is here it is.And then they come out and they
got the you know the guy that'sin a give him the no hitting here,
no hitting here, no doing this, no doing that. Because there's
got to be rules. The microphoneof the candidate not selected to speak will
(03:22):
be muted. Another new change,no studio audience. Trump telling the Washington
Examiner to me, the audience iseasier because it's telling you what is going
on indirectly with applause or not applause. This room is a sterile dead room.
And this is a very interesting thingbecause who does this help Well,
(03:45):
Biden, you would think, andit might, let's be real, that's
a possibility, but who does thishelp? Does not having that applause or
the audience to play to maybe helpTrump be a little bit more in the
(04:11):
lane, a little bit more focused, a little bit more dare I say
presidential? It's a possibility, nodoubt about that. Again, the rules
are the mut dude mics, noaudience. Biden's on the right, Trump
pass last word. So that's whichI still find to be weird. But
(04:36):
I'm just saying out of all ofthis stuff. We're not watching it for
policy, because we don't give ourhad to ask about policy. We know
Trump's policy, we know Biden's policies. We're not watching it for any of
that. We're watching it for thepotential short circuit, the potential angry moment,
the potential senior moment. Here's somethingthat's not being brought up, but
(04:58):
I've brought it up a couple times. What if dare I say, Friday
morning, our conversation goes like theyboth had seen your moments, they both
lost the plot, they both areunfit. I'm not saying that's gonna happen,
(05:23):
but is it plausible? Anything aspossible. But what have I talked
about? None of it's been aboutinflation, immigration, abortion, geopolitical stuff.
It's been about can they survive ninetyminutes standing up in a sterile room
with lights? Oh geez. MaggieHammon talks about the fact, and she's
(05:48):
muckety muck. You know, theMSNBC folk of the World and New York
Times, the limousine liberal as youwould call them. Trump the meanie,
and he's gonna be a meanie.Trump is aware that his own attacks on
Hunter Biden in that first debate andtwenty twenty humanized President Biden. He basically
gave President Biden opportunity to say,my son is an addict and he has
(06:10):
a struggle that a lot of Americanshave. And Trump came off looking incredibly
mean and belittling to an issue thata lot of people struggle with. I
don't know that we're there now. This is just a very different moment.
Yes, but here's my thing.Okay, how did that humanize Biden?
Well, everybody has family members whoaddicted. We talk about that later on.
(06:33):
We're going to talk about a guythat had a massive hit in the
nineties, early two thousands and he'sdead. An addiction was the problem.
That wasn't the issue with the addiction. The addiction was how did he get
so much money? And what youdidn't bring up, Maggie Haberman Is Biden
said, never got a penny fromthe Chinese, never got a penny from
(06:54):
the Ukrainians, never got a pennyfrom anything. That turned out to be
a lie. But you ignore thatbecause again with Trump, it's all personality
based. And here's the thing withTrump. Everybody wants a fighter, right,
you know, like with Biden thewhole thought I always thought Biden was.
Biden became far more divisive than Ithought he was going to be.
(07:16):
But with Biden, I thought,he's gonna bore everybody back to normality,
this normal way of life. We'regoing to be normal again. It's gonna
be boring old politics, which Ienjoyed a lot of that boring politics stuff.
He's going to basically be beige, the color beige, and he hasn't
been. And I can't blame eitherpolitician anymore at this point in time,
(07:40):
because the media is always looking forsomething that being said. It's never about
policy. With Trump, It's alwaysabout he's a meaning, he's a meaning.
He's a jerk, he's awful,he's horrible. We even heard that
kid yesterday say, well, justa mean jerk, and that's why I
(08:01):
won't vote for him. And theguy's like, note, what about policy?
Because all I care about policy. That's a hard thing to overcome.
You know, you saw Trump ata rally the other night saying, you
know, should I be nice oryou know, should I be very mean?
And I suspect he will interrupt us. And I suspect he will be
mean because I think that is hisspeed when it comes to being on the
attack, mean in the sense ofwhat like a attacking Hunter Biden or just
(08:26):
I think that if what I so, I've heard conflicting things about this.
I think that inevitably, when thequestion of Trump's criminal conviction comes up,
there is a real chance Trump isthen going to turn it around about Hunter
Biden. Hunter Biden is the sonof a president, but he is not
running for president, and so thatis just a different thing. Trump's folks
believe it is a way to getunder President Biden's skin, and I don't
(08:48):
think they would see it as ahands off moment. Now, now we'll
see. I don't know they'll bringit up because it's CNN and Dana Back
and Jake Taple. We played abunch of their stuff how much they couldn't
stand Trump. I think Tapper willbe better. I think Dana Bash will,
(09:09):
you know, service this president, and we'll see what happens. I
would like to think that they're goingto stay away from cheap shots, but
they both, by the way,Biden and Trump have bit of tempers.
So we shall see three two, three, five, three eight, twenty
four to twenty three at Chad Bensonshows your Twitter tweet at as text the
program. He's free officially. WikiLeagues founder Julian Esssange is now officially a
(09:33):
free man after pleading guilty to onecharge of espionage in a court in Saipan
in front of the US federal judgewho sentenced to him to time already served
in prison. Speaking outside the courthouse, Assandra's chief US lawyer, Barry J.
Pollock, said Assane should never havebeen charged under the Espionage Act.
He has suffered tremendously in his fightfor free speech. Assan spent five years
(09:56):
in a UK prison fighting extradition tothe US before he spent seven years in
the Ecuadorian embassy. Yeah, thatcan't be fun. It's I got a
lot of emails and text messages yesterdayabout this. Is he hero? Is
he a villain? He only dumpedstuff about the West, because that's what
(10:18):
you do, You go after thebig boys. This wasn't just US,
the UK, A bunch of otherplaces, about Iraq, about Afghanistan,
about the Democrats. We forget that. You remember all the stuff he dumped
about the Democrats, Hillary's emails, the whole stuff with Bernie Sanders, and
(10:39):
the DNZ, you know, basicallygiving Hillary all of the questions, Donna
Brazil and all that. I mean, he dumped a lot of stuff.
But was he doing it because hefelt the world needed to know? Was
there? I mean, that's that'sa fair question to ask because you look
(11:01):
at Edward Snowden in a much differentway, and Edward Snowden is somebody when
people look at like this guy's like, dude, these people are spying all
over us. People need to knowwhat's going on and what your government is
up to. Kind of feel whereI felt with Julian Assange. Some of
that I think was there at thebeginning, but then I think some of
(11:22):
it was a bit of stardom thatcame with it. So free out put
people in harm's way. There's nodoubt that people probably died because of the
stuff that he leaked. There's nodoubt about that. People have talked about
that, so he'll he'll have acomplicated history for sure. But was it
(11:46):
fame after a while rather than theimportance of what was going on? Three
two, three, five, twentyfour to twenty three Atch had Benson show

(12:56):
Chad Benson Show. You're listening tothe Chad Benson Show. One of the
squad has gone down. What ohyeah, wait, what what do you
(13:22):
mean? They lost, says AOCand Jamal Bowman over the weekend getting pumped
up. Get on out there, vote even if you can't vote, vote
twice. So George Latimir took onJamal Bowman. If you guys don't know
who Jabal Bowman is is, uh, he's one of the squad. Now
he is unemployed. Why is that? Well, George Latimir beat him,
(13:46):
who says, Look, I'm progressive, but he's really not. He's a
he's a he's an old school Democrat. You can say I'm progressive, but
he says something when we was youknow, he's on CNN and all the
things because this became like the mostthat's a phrase in Congress like history.
But he said something that is sotrue across right and left, and I
(14:07):
have said it for years. Pelebrities. So many of these people are interested
not in representing their district but beingpelebrities. What it does show is that
when you lose touch with your district, when you're not on the ground enough,
and when you're more concerned about yournational profile that you're on you know,
the major media outlets, but you'renot in the neighborhoods that you need
(14:31):
to be in all the neighborhoods youneed to be in. Then you lose
the focus and you lose support inyour district. I won because I worked
hard and I have a record ofdelivering for the people who live in this
area, in this community. Imay not be a national figure in the
years to come. I just wantto be a good representative of my district.
And I think that's what they votedfor. Its about that, right
there is the best, most honestthing that a politician could say. Not
(14:58):
I want to do good for mydistrict. They all say that, he
said. So many of these peopleare interested in their national profile. They're
not interested in what goes on intheir neighborhood. I talk to politicians a
lot of them, and they'll tellme stories. I never have them on
because I don't really want to befriendthem because then if I have to criticize
them, well that's the way itgoes. But they'll tell me the stories
(15:22):
of other people. And I knowa lot of these people, the big
ones you hear about and talk about. Let me tell you something. They'll
tell me to my face. Hey, the reality is, while I represent
seventy thousand people, I got fourmillion Twitter followers three two, three,
five, three, eight, twentyfour to twenty three at Chad Benson Show,
(15:43):
is your Twitter tweet at his textaprogram Chad Benson Show. They're interested
in being pelebrities. That's why screamingloud, saying just ridiculous things is something
that, quite frankly, is whatgives them the power they need. And
(16:07):
the only way they can get thatpower in many cases is saying absurd things.
You don't have to worry about aplace flipping anymore. The worry if
you're a politician is you being oustedby somebody else with a deer R by
their name going up against you whohave a deer R. Being a pelebrity
is more important to these people thana lot of other things. And I
(16:30):
just thought that was spot on rightthere. It's time to get woke.
Coming up, we got a lotof great woke stuff on the way.
Plus Michael Phelps. You guys knowwho he is. He is a merman.
I think he won five gazillion medals. Yesterday or even late last night,
he and several other Olympians were onCapitol Hill talking about the rampant cheating
(16:53):
in the Olympics. And elsewhere thathas gone on, especially in swimming,
and how eleven people who tested positivefor performance enhancing drugs have now made an
Olympic team. It's not ours. We'll talk about that as well. Plus
we have a lot of crazy, woke stuff coming up. And Baylor Hospital.
(17:14):
I found this interesting. If youdon't know who Baylor Hospitals one of
the big hospitals in America. Apparentlythey thought they were a hair salon.
We hear this story too. Itis crazy. Follow across all social media
three two, three, five, three four twenty three at Chad Benson Show's
your Twitter. It is the ChadBenson Show, The Chad Benson Show,
(17:59):
Independent's Independent Life. This is ChadBenson. My orcist lies does it for
the administration because that's what you do. You're hired at the really the behest
of the administration. We'd like youto come in here. We're going to
hire you, and you work forme and you do what I tell you
to do. My Orcus, everybodyblames him for everything because he's the punching
(18:22):
bag, but it still comes fromthe top down, and the top down
gets the marching orders. The onething I said that could change all of
this chaos and craziness of this debateslash election season is if there was a
terror attack. And last week theyannounced they arrested eight people that potentially had
ties with ISIS. And we've gonethrough some of the stuff and it's actually
(18:45):
very interesting how and what they weredoing, who they were communicating with.
There's no doubt that there are peoplehere that want to do bad. Is
that everybody, No, it's not, But to say it's nobody would be
a lie. My orc is today, though, has to first start off
(19:06):
with terror attacks by apologizing to thepeople of Central Asia. Number one,
With respect to the people from CentralAsia, we have no evidence that they
are individuals plotting to harm the UnitedStates. That is inaccurate. It's very
important to note that the safety andsecurity of the American people are our highest
priority. We screen and vet individualsat the time of encounter. If we
(19:30):
learn of derogatory information, we takeenforcement action. We are proceeding with extreme
caution here in the service of thesecurity and safety of the American people.
Number one. Number one, Iwant to apologize everybody is Central Asia,
even though the urs, Mekastans, the Jijiikistans, and it's you really have
to come out and apologize about that. Immigration is an issue. We know
(19:53):
that, and tomorrow night he'll befront and center at some point in time
in this debate. But it is, you know, everybody's got to fix
for immigration, the right and theleft. We disagree on how it should
be fixed and how it's enforced, though, is the most important thing that's
it. How it's enforced. Andwhile both sides bitch about certain things,
(20:19):
there needs to be some fixes. One of them is the detention centers,
which he brings up because we justdon't have enough. Number two of the
number of individuals whom we've released intoimmigration enforcement proceedings subsequent to the President's proclamation
has dropped significantly. But remember thatour detention capacity, and this is not
(20:41):
specific to our administration, this hasbeen historic ever since the nineties when I
was a federal prosecutor. Our detentioncapacity is not sufficient to meet the number
of people we encounter. And thereforewe have to release people into the United
States when they are immigration enforcement proceedings, and we put them on alternatives to
(21:03):
detention when that is necessary from anenforcement perspective. And so we have a
number of procedures to ensure the safetyand security of the American people. Fundamentally,
we're operating within a broken immigration system. We need Congress to fix it.
Everyone agrees with that. It hasn'tbeen fixed since nineteen ninety six.
(21:26):
Yeah, and even then it wasn'tfixed because here's the thing that the fix
and we're just talking about the fix. Don't listen to the fix. You
could pass fifty laws today, butif you do not enforce those laws,
nothing matters. That's just words onpaper. Enforcement is important. There's a
(21:49):
drop at the border right now,but we always see these drops at the
borders at certain times when they tryto do something new, and the reason
is simple. They regroup, Theydecide what do we need to do,
Where do we need to go,what area do we need to get to
where we know we're going to getin, and what system is vulnerable for
(22:12):
us to take advantage of that theAmericans aren't thinking about and then they'll be
back at it again. Everybody understandsthat three two, three, five,
three, eight, twenty four totwenty three atch had Medson Shaw is your
Twitter. By the way, it'sWednesdays. You know what that means today?
What the woke wants the woke get. Every time they refer to me,
(22:32):
it's always lady girl, it's nonstop. We are contributing to our
fat phobic society. Someone fat likeme, black like me, beautiful like
me. No offense is a shitabout you. So that's my intentional weight
losses fat moments. Shut your mouth, who's fat? It's time for woke
(22:57):
Wednesday. We're gonna talk a littlebit about nutritional overachievers, people of size,
fatty folks. You want to knowwhat's fat phobic? The photo booths
And here's why only one fat matchfits in here. We tried to both
get in and I got stopped. You got this fat phobic baby, it's
(23:22):
that booth. The photo booth isfat phobic, which is not a real
thing. You're a nutritional overachiever,a person of size. You beat adirectionia.
Congratulations. It's not nice chat,it's not. And now there's a
big article in the Washington Posts andhow to approach people if they're having a
(23:45):
good run of losing weight while notoffending people of size and at the same
time not offending them by asking themhow how are you doing it? Because
of all of the weight loss drugs, so zempic and all of these is
a new one that's supposed to becoming out that's supposed to be even better
(24:06):
than ever before, even better thanever before. And what they break down
is it started out this conversation withBarbara streisand big fan of mine, by
the way, I'm kidding, butBarbara Seissan said something about Melissa McCarthy about
weight loss, and then people goton Barbara streisand apparently for this is where
(24:29):
we are in this world. Thisis why the rest of the world hates
us, because our big issues arestuff like this. And then people started
asking is there a right way?Because everybody assumes if you drop forty pounds
or one hundred pounds or whatever thatbut I don't see you go to the
gym. I don't see you reallyeat any different than you did before.
So you got to be on drugsor you had to take a you had
(24:49):
to get the surgery, and sothat's the thing. So you have to
there's a right way to do it. You can't just go, hey,
used to be a fattie, nowyou're a medium. What have you been
doing did? You can't do thatbecause then people be mad again. We
don't want to be fat phobic. How much people hate fat people, They
(25:10):
just hate them, like there's likethis weird hatred feels almost akin to racism.
This is not like racism. Itis racism. Anti fatness is rooted
in anti blackness. The reason whypeople hate fat people is because people hate
black people. And appearing curvely orbigger is associated with blackness, especially black
women, and that's why they're discriminatedin the workplace, overly sexualized, and
(25:30):
this has gone back for centuries andcenturies. First of all, let me
let's break that down, because youknow, again everything is racism. Now
climate change, you don't believe itracist? How is it that fat phobia
could also be sexualized? And stopusing the word phobia? Could we all
(25:53):
agree on that? Raise a hand'sfantastic? Who's afraid of a person of
size? Fatness? Chad, I'vedropped thirty five pounds. Why, well,
I'm eating better, that's and I'msleeping a little bit better, and
I'm working out. And I realizedtoo, man, I was eating disgusting,
Like, but my uncle has doneall the drugs and I'll tell you
(26:18):
what, he's lost a ton ofweight. Looks great. He's not much
of a worker outer, he's avery very he leaves a setative lifestyle.
Let's just say that. I don'tfind a problem with it. You know,
if you're using whatever you're doing tolose the weight, lose the damn
weight. Health is more important. And we've got to stop celebrating unhealthy stuff.
(26:40):
We don't celebrate anorexia. We're like, you're doing great, keep going,
keep going, you can do it, right, bolim you well,
you s throw up again. Wedon't celebrate that, right. We don't
celebrate drug Well, you're just asober you know person. Huh, you're
a drug far obic, your atticfolk. We don't celebrate that. And
(27:03):
when you get people going, youknow, fat phobia is right, says
I'm that's not a healthy place. It isn't one more all systems of oppression,
capitalism, sexism, racism. Itall comes back to white supremacy,
which is the foundation of the fabricof America and rules every sector and aspect
of our society. Yes, can't. You can't have a conversation with somebody
(27:30):
like that. So fat phobia isracism. And it's because of capitalism and
the West that people are fat phobic. Therefore racist stick with me here and
anti everything else three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,
twenty three at Chad Benson Show toTwitter your Instagram on this beautiful Wednesday,

chexy pretty little thing from would ringand I do you guys remember this song?
My God, there's nothing that Iwon't try. But some of you
(29:52):
who looks to Killed Thomas dance ina masking? Could this be real?
Because I can't sleep, I can'thold it. Nah, you're gonna you're
dancing? I see it? Gotsex appeal? That right there is crazy
Town Shifty shell Shock lead singer passedaway yesterday. I was forty nine years
old. Addiction is hell. Tellyou guys that how did he die?
(30:15):
Well? Hard living? But youknow who is wacky. I don't say
that to be mean to Shifty, although he did say he didn't plan to
be around very long on numerous occasions. Surprise he lived as long as he
did. I told my wife,I said that Shifty shell Shock died from
crazy Town. You know what shesaid to me. Again, that's what
(30:37):
I thought, I said, Iknow, I thought he was dead.
But there's a guy who like, think about this. You have one hit
that was it and now you guysare annoyed because it's in your head all
day. But the addiction that dudefought kind of like the dude from Well,
let me pick a band, reallypick anything, so smash mouth any
(31:00):
of that. Like, these guyslive hard still and this guy was a
hot mess. And the fact thathe lived this long I think was a
surprise. And he said he wantedto stick around because he had kids.
But it shows you what addiction cando to you. And and and you
know, it's it's such a bitch. Let's be honest. That's what it
(31:25):
is. Addiction. And it's sad, sad, forty nine years young,
it's got three kids. I rememberwhen my dad died. I was mad
at him for years because I waslike, you chose drugs and stuff over
your kids, and it's not thatsimple. It is three two, three,
five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three atch Had Benson shows
your Twitter tweet at his text theprogram. If you're going to go to
(31:47):
Baylor and have surgery, maybe abig surgery, I don't know, open
heart, you should maybe think again, so I said earlier. When you
hear the story, somebody goes.Somebody texts me, he goes, what
do you mean they're not a hairston. If you ever go to a hair
salon, they'll double book. Whybecause I'm gonna do your hair, but
your hair is gonna require color,so color is gonna take a while.
(32:12):
You're gonna be sitting there, soyou're gonna be sitting over here, So
my chairs open, So why notput you in this position where I move
you over here, bring somebody elsein who just needs something like a trim
double booking. That's what happens whenthey did that at Baylor. What started
as a whistleblower complaint has resulted ina fifteen million dollars settlement accusing three different
surgeons here at Baylor Saint Luke's MedicalCenter of leaving complicated open heart surgeries in
(32:37):
the hands of unqualified medical residents. These surgeries, they say, typically involve
opening a patient's chess and placing thepatient on the bypass machine for some portion
of time. These surgeons could leaveand run multiple operating rooms at a time.
The Department of Justice says the patientswere not told their surgeon would leave
(32:59):
to perform other operations, and thesurgeons would still build medicare for performing the
entire surgery. This allegedly happened fromJune of twenty thirteen through December of twenty
twenty. Think about that for asecond. Well, I mean, you're
the understudy, so you're gonna haveto learn this stuff. But they would
(33:22):
say, all right, prap them, get them open, pop that heart,
get them on the machine. I'mgoing next door because I got other
stuff to do. So they multipleoperating rooms going at once, and while
that's all happening, they're billing, well, you are getting the surgery.
The difference is you're getting the surgeryfrom the understudy. And a whistleblower came
forward. Why do you hear whathappened to the whistleblower. In a statement,
(33:44):
they say, quote, in thiscase, doctors gambled with their patient's
care during complicated open heart surgeries noless, compromising quality of care over quantity,
and then falsely build Medicare for reimbursementof services they improperly delegated it.
They go on to say they hopetoday's civil settlement announcement represents accountability for doctors
(34:05):
and hospitals everywhere. We reached outto Baylor Saint Luke's they say, in
part, the agreement resolved a documentationand billing matter. The DOJ claims are
strictly allegations, and the settlement isnot an admission of liability. Yeah,
so they settled the case. Okay, that's you know, there's no admission
of liability. They know that itwas wrong. Nobody lost their license,
but the whistleblower that came for whathappened. Some places whistleblowers boeing, they
(34:30):
disappear, something bad happens, sothey seem fine. Then the next thing
you know, they commit suicide. This one. Baylor College of Medicine,
which employs the teaching physicians, saidit did not engage in any conduct that
violates federal law. But they decidedto amicably resolve the dispute to avoid an
expensive trial. And they go onto say it's important to note no patients
(34:51):
were harm By the way, thewhistleblower who helped launch the investigation is entitled
to a portion of the settlement. And we'll get more than three million dollars
three million bucks. How do youlike apples? That are those apples?
Kids? So in some places notall. If you're a whistleblower, something
(35:15):
bad could happen retaliation, who knows? There? You got three million dollars,
not a bad thing, and youdid something good. Right at least
it's not like boeing? Right? Can we all agree on that? I
don't know if that's not very nice? Jed three two three five, twenty
four to twenty three at Chet Bensonshows your twitter tweet at his text program.
Got a lot of your tacks andtweets. We're gonna get to on
(35:36):
the Chad Benson Show coming up nexthour. Yes, we've got more woke
stuff we talk about that should womenbe drafted? We will talk about that.
But something happened in Arizona that willfeed the conspiracy about election integrity,
and you know what questions that needto be asked. And here's a question
(35:58):
for everybody out there. Well, you know what, I'm gonna save it
till next hour because I think youguys, I want to know what you
think, because, as we allknow, conspiracy, wackiness, craziness that
goes on out there. Some ofit's got some grain of truth, some
of it's just wacky. But I'mgonna pose a question. You guys can
do that next hour. But yes, something happened in Arizona when it came
to potential election issues, and wewill discuss that a lot of other stuff.
(36:21):
It is the Chad Benson Show. This is the Chad Benson Show,
(36:49):
Independent Thoughts, Independent Life, Thisis Chad Benson Big debate tomorrow night.
We'll talk about that in a second. George Latimer, it sounds like a
character in a movie said something yesterday. Talked a bit about it last hour,
which was a great hour by theregret the podcast. It is so
(37:09):
spot on and it seems eerily familiarwith something I've been saying for years about
politicians, in particular senators and Senatorwoman, Congress, folk men and women
and non binary of what it's reallyall about to a lot of them.
(37:30):
Last night doing an interview on CNNtalking about how he beat a member of
the squad. Yeah, Jamal Bowman. You guys know who he is.
Anybody, anybody know who he is. He's the guy that pulled the fire
(37:51):
along because in a moment of panic, was trying to escape a vestibule.
Give me a break. Yeah, yeah, very outspoken against Israel a lot
of other things. But you know, he's the dude of the squad,
if you will. But he gotbeat by a guy that isn't uber progressive.
(38:12):
Now he's just a regular old Democrat, but he wants to represent people,
not be a pelebrity. What itdoes show is that when you lose
touch with your district, when you'renot on the ground enough, and when
you're more concerned about your national profilethat you're on you know, the major
media outlets, but you're not inthe neighborhoods that you need to be in,
(38:37):
all the neighborhoods you need to bein, then you lose the focus
and you lose support in your district. I won because I worked hard and
I have a record of delivering forthe people who live in this area,
in this community. I may notbe a national figure in the years to
come. I just want to bea good representative of my district. And
I think that's what they voted for. It's about Bam that you win,
(39:00):
sir, you win. You winbecause aoc MTG Bobert's, Matt Gates's il
Hana Omars, the Jaya Pals, the fact that we know these people's names
and yet they don't represent us becausethey're more interested in themselves being a peleperty
(39:25):
that's what they're super interested. Iwant to be a pelebrity. I talk
to a lot of politicians and lookpart of this and I'm gonna say this
right now. It's on us.We no longer care about Lake Tomorrow.
We're gonna talk about the debate ina minute. Nobody cares about We're not
watching the debate because we're like,I hope to find out some stuff about
policy. Nobody cares about policy. You want to see if one guy is
(39:51):
gonna crap his pants and fall over, and if the other guy is gonna
drop an F bomb and flip thepodium over and say something horrific. We're
not watching it for policy. We'veturned it all into reality television, and
you've got to one up everybody toget noticed. It's what you have to
(40:14):
do. It's not about crafting greatlegislation. Oh I got to craft little
thing. We got together, wetalked it was it's not about that.
It's about building a niche audience thatwill continually give to you. You may
represent sixty thousand people, but yougot four million followers on the Twitter and
(40:34):
the TikTok and the Insta. That'smore important. Those people give money even
though they're not in your district. It is crazy. We deserve it.
Though. Yesterday I was filling infor a station and guy asked me,
(41:00):
He goes, why do people saythese politicians say stuff? And I said,
it's simple. How are you goingto get noticed. If you come
out today and you say here's myplan and just a straight shooter, nobody
cares. So do even get noticed. You've got to be louder, and
(41:22):
then if you want to be thatpelebrity, then you've just got to say
oh kinds of things, because it'sabout raising money and raising profile. For
many of these people. It's notabout doing the job of the people.
It's about what does the online folkthink about what's going on? How did
(41:49):
I look today on Fox, MSNBC, CNN, How did I look there?
What's my TikTok doing? Is itblowing up? Is it not blowing
up? Just need to know.Sad, sad that we're in this position.
But alas we are. Tomorrow night, two men will enter. Oh
it's Chad, tomorrow night that thattwo men will leentter. This is gonna
(42:09):
be interesting because I'm really concerned aboutpolicy, are you? Are you really
concerned about policy? What policy don'tyou know about? Well? I don't
know. That's pretty much all thesame, aren't they kind of right?
You're concerned about is tomorrow night goingto be a crap show? That's why
(42:30):
we watch race car, you know, F one right, open wheel Indie
NASCAR. We watch it for thepotential. Oh yeah, it's exciting and
we like the the sports side ofit. But there's always that potential that
something could go wrong from now.Telling The Washington Examiner, he was very
(42:52):
aggressive in that debate, but suggestinghe learned a lesson, saying the second
time around was different and I gotgreat and Thursday, of course there will
be another difference. The candidates willonly have their mics turned on when it's
their turn to speak. There alsowon't be a studio audience, and Trump's
not happy about that, telling theexaminer to me, the audience is easier
(43:15):
because it's telling you what is goingon indirectly with applause or not applause.
This room is a sterile dead room. Sterile dead room. Well, there's
my frustration with you right there. Are you there to do a show or
are you there to talk about policy? See? The one thing about Trump
(43:36):
is he plays an audience like nopresident is ever played an audience. Barack
Obama played an audience. Well,Reagan played an audience. Well, I
mean they were masters at that.Clinton credible. Trump does it in a
way that none of them ever havebecause they played an audience and they got
people behind them with their passion.Trump has their passion and Trump entertains,
(44:04):
which is always something that you haveto worry about. People want to know
what will Trump says all kinds ofwacky stuff. Do you know why if
you ever watched a Trump event forreal, not there too because you're in
just you love him, or notthere because you hate him, but you
ever watched the fact that he attimes is working a room. He plays
(44:28):
off the audience and the energy. Now this could help him tomorrow night,
which maybe make him a little bitmore subdued, who knows. But no,
you shouldn't be playing up for theaudience in the crowd there. It
should be about delivering the things thatyou need to deliver in a way that's
going to get people excited and say, Okay, cool, you know what,
(44:50):
I like that policy, But wedon't care about the policy because part
of the reason you go to theTrump events, the same reason you go
see Taylor Swift or the Foo Fighters. We got some of that stuff coming.
There's a little fight between the twolater on, because it's a show
as much as it is a politicalthing. It's a show. Yeah,
(45:15):
yeah, I could see that Thepresident is doing his final day of intense
prep before tomorrow night's debate that includesdoing ninety minute mock debate sessions at Camp
David. His personal attorney Bob Baueris filling in and playing the role of
Donald Trump, and while the presidentremains behind closed doors publicly, his campaign
continues to preview what's to come onthat debate stage, hammering Donald Trump where
(45:37):
they feel he is most vulnerable today, arguing that he is a danger to
democracy. Danger to democracy, Well, everybody's a danger because they tell you
the same thing that to Biden,he's a danger democracy. The big danger
to democracy is us. We're thebiggest danger to democracies. And democracies by
(45:58):
the way, if you've ever studiedanything history, there's a reason that they
don't last forever. They at timeshave a you know, have fallen apart
quicker. Some other times they've goneon a little bit longer, but over
time they erode. Our biggest dangerdemocracy isn't a Donald Trump, it isn't
(46:21):
a Joe Biden. It is us. We're a big danger to ourselves.
Oh yeah, so Biden's gonna saythat, and he's you know, he's
holed up somewhere. You know. One of the things about when I was
feeling in yesterday work with my buddy, he said, he said on the
(46:42):
air and say, hey, whatwhy is he gone away for a week?
What's he prepping for? I'm like, dude, you've been in this
thing for fifty sixty years. It'sjust crazy to say you're a senator for
forty years than a vice president andnow president. What are you prepping for
well, you're prepping for the unknownwhen it comes to Trump. Let's be
(47:06):
real that that's something that may bea prepper. But like anything else,
when it comes to to to youknow, to to Donald Trump or any
other sport, there are some things. Like Mike Tyson, you say,
everybody has a plan till they getpunched. So you can only prep so
(47:30):
much for Donald Trump. The OrangeTornado three two three, five three eight,
twenty four twenty three at Chad Benson'sshow to Twitter your Instagram, got
some woke stuff coming up. Also, something happened in Americopa County. What
is this Americopa County? What ifyou guys don't know what. Americopa County
(47:52):
is very large place that calls stickfee nix Think twenty twenty think election battle
ground conspiracy. But something happened thatLet's just say the conspiracies are running wild.
(48:15):
Talk a bit about that as well. Three two three, five three
eight twenty four twenty three Atch dBenson shows your Twitter and yes there is
a kerfuffle between Dave Grohl and TaylorSwift and we will get to that.
My pillow right now has deep, massive discounts on all the my Pellow products
right now, they have the twentyfive dollars extravaganza Agenza again, now what
(48:38):
is this? How about getting toMypellows the originals for twenty five bucks or
maybe the premium Mypellow any laft levelright any size for twenty five bucks comes
with the new geeze of fabric. It's incredible. Towels, pet beds,
sandals, twenty five dollars. Youspend seventy five bucks, you get free
(49:00):
shipping. They also have deep discountson mattress toppers. They have sleep systems
as I like to call with themattresses, Giza dream sheets and incredible you
know pillows, and they have sixtypercent off the my slippers. And if
you spend seventy five bucks free shipping. It's a twenty five dollars stravagance that's
going on right now at MyPillow.Go to mypellow dot com slash Benz and
(49:22):
make sure you use that code Bensonright there. It's Mypellow dot com slash
Benson b E N s O Nmy pillow dot com slash Benson. And
if you spend over seventy five bucksyou get free shipping. It is the
Chad Benson Show. You're listening tothe Chad Benson Show. The military has
(49:51):
not implemented a draft in more thanfifty years. Why is this coming up
now? You have democrats essentially arguing, look, fighting on the front lines
of a war looks very different thanit has in the past. We're now
starting to see you know, morecyber warfare, more tech warfare, and
you know, they're arguing that thereis certainly a space for women and that
(50:12):
you know, line of fighting oryou know, part of the military that
could be used on the front line. Yeah, you want to be equal,
get your ass out there. Thatsaid, very nice, one d
percent. We want a quality. You got it, Pick up a gun.
Come on, by equality, wemean, go do it. That's
not very nice. Yeah, warfareis going to change for those of you
(50:35):
that all joking aside. Drone fairis what it's going to be about.
Not that the way that it's goingto work. And it's funny. My
uncle who passed away, what fifteenyears ago, twenty years ago, was
in the military fair a very longtime Navy, a lot of other secret
stuff that was really weird. I'mlike, well, it's really weird that
(50:58):
you bored a plane and fly offsomewhere every day for work and the plan
is no windows, and that's odd. But he would tell me that the
war that is that would be foughtone day. And this was like when
I was a kid to thirty fortyyears ago, that there would be essentially
robots drone like things and then thehumans would come after it to clean up
(51:22):
whatever the robot army would take out. I thought, ah, you're full
of boloney. Well now I thinkit's more and more possible. But yes,
ladies, it's time for you todo your part. Clear Weather Majority
Leader Chuck Schumer will bring this tothe floor because of the potential political consequences
of this, But Republicans very muchpushing back on this, talking about you
(51:44):
know, the gender identity politics andsuch. Enough Republicans are pushing back to
where you know, it might notbe implemented. At the same time,
though, there are some Republicans whoare very much on board with this,
some Republican voters that it's very mucha promoted this idea of equality and the
military. Well, it should beeverywhere, right, like even when we
(52:04):
talk about sports, like we getthat craziness of people out there it's like
we're just the same. And youknow, like the talkover trans sports three
two, three, five, threeeight, twenty four to twenty three at
Chad Benson Show, to your Twitter, your Instagram, all the other things
on the Chad Benson Show. Andby the way, there is zero there
(52:31):
is zero, I'm gonna say thisagain, zero chance that there is any
equality when it comes to sports.Let's just be honest. So when you
say a a dude who thinks he'sa woman competing in the it's oh,
it's all fair, it's all fair. No, it's not. It's not
(52:52):
fair. It's not. So doI think women should be drafted? I
think there are plenty of things thatwomen can do. And fighting in the
front lines, that's what you wantto do. Great, the fear factor
of that is then again, thisis what would happen to women because we're
seeing it going on across the board, whether it be Israel or whether it
(53:14):
be in Ukraine. And by theway, those women they're out there fighting
their asses off to protect their country. Now at a time when there is
chaos and craziness in the world ofdo we believe elections are fair or do
we not believe elections are fair.Something happened the day, by the way,
when the Maricopa County Recorder, theperson who does all of the stuff
(53:38):
when it comes to elections, hadthe big debate and arrest happened. And
it is fueling conspiracies. And talka bit about that, and it is
everything that you need in a conspiracy. I'm just going to throw that out
there to you. Everything you needin a conspiracy. But it also makes
you wonder. It's the beauty ofa conspiracy. It makes you wonder,
(54:01):
even if you know it's not true. It does put a bit of wonder
in there. And I'm not sayingsomething untoward didn't happen here or couldn't,
but it does make you wonder.Talk about that, woke a lot of
other stuff. Chad Benson, Chick, The Chad Benson Show, Independent Thoughts,
(54:39):
Independent Life. This is Chad Benson. Do guns need a warning label?
Wait? What? To protect thehealth and well being of Americans,
especially our children, we must nowact. Fifty four percent of adults in
America report that they or family membershave experienced a firearm related incident. Black
(54:59):
individuals endure the highest rates of firearmhomicides, while suicide rates are highest among
veterans, older white individuals, andyounger American, Indian and Alaska Native people.
Firearm violence has become the number onepositive death among children and adolescents.
Okay, Vicmurthy there, he's asurgeon general, and he is a general.
(55:25):
By the way, coming out warningagainst guns continues today all over talking
about we need this, we needa warning. It's an epidemic. This
is what we did with smoking morethan half a century ago, when my
predecessor Luther Terry identified smoking as animportant public health issue and a threat to
the health of America. That helpedmobilize a series of initiatives in communities and
(55:51):
schools, among parents, among lawmakersthat ultimately brought smoking rates down from forty
two percent in nineteen sixty four toless than twelve percent they are today.
So that's approach we have to takehere. And people were lied to smoking's
good for you? Smoking's this smokingthat Big Tobacco knew. The issue was
(56:14):
smoking, addiction, the potential causeof cancer, et cetera. They hit
it, They're like, we shouldaide it over here. Don't tell anybody
you know what. I didn't hearin any of this personal responsibility. Blame
the gun, you guys can tellhim a second amendment. Guy. That
(56:34):
being said, with that comes responsibility. With that comes personal responsibility. If
you want to say there's an epidemic, we have an epidemic of people who
aren't taking personal responsibility. So you'rejust for anybody having a gun. No,
(56:58):
what I am for is having aserious conversation about why is it that
it's always the gun's fault and neverthe person who takes the gun and does
something horrible. The gun doesn't talk, the gun doesn't magically hypnotize anybody.
Why is it the young men,in particular black young men, feel the
(57:22):
only way to deal in a situationof dispute is by taking out a gun
and shooting at one another. Whyis that so? Like I always talk
about with the fentanyl crisis, whichby the way, is the number one
killer of adults eighteen to forty ninein this country, there wouldn't be a
(57:45):
crisis if we didn't consume the hellout of it. Some of that,
though, you can blame on theopioid industry absolutely. Why they lied for
years see the Sackler family about itbeing non addictive and all the things that
wouldn't do. But personal responsibility needsto be talked about, and we have
(58:07):
an epidemic of people not taking responsibiabilityfor any of their actions and trying to
blame society for a lot of things. And that's not right. Just putting
that out there three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four
to twenty three at Chad Benson showsyour Twitter, we'll have some woke stuff
coming up. I brought it upearlier. I'm going to say this twenty
(58:30):
twenty. Stop the stale baby.Arizona the hotbed for conspiracies, no doubt
about that. Well, Chad,it's because no, what is it because
of It's because conspiracy. Sometimes there'sa grain of truth in some of these
things that we should ask serious questionsabout some of the stuff. On the
(58:52):
other hand, you could take thatgrain and turn it into a Mount Everest
if you want to. But itdoesn't mean that there isn't some stuff that
make people go hmm. And ifyour goal at a time when people are
already distrusting in a place like Arizona, a swing state, whether or not
(59:14):
this election is going to be fair, what you can't have happen is what
happened in Maricopa County. On theday, by the way, that the
county recorder debate was going on.These are the people who oversee the elections.
There was an arrest of a man, Walter Ringfield, twenty seven year
(59:38):
old who happens to be a felonwho was working there as some sort of
work program who decided, I'm takingsomething from here. They determined that the
suspect that we've been talking about hadtaken the black security key and put it
in his pocket and then removed itfrom the ballot Tabulation center. The ballot
(01:00:02):
Tabulation Center give me conspiracy for abailligain. Once we learned that this security
key had gone outside of the ballottabulation center, we reprogrammed the tabulation machines
and that deactivated this. But man, doesn't it make you think? Absolutely
(01:00:27):
so. Allegedly, Ringfield admitted totaking the fole, but claimed he returned
it approximately twenty minutes later, citinga desire to clean up in hopes of
securing a permanent employment position at theMaricopa County Tabulation election Center. By the
way, I have visited there withmy buddy Stephen Richard, who is currently
the Maricopa County Recorder. He's avery nice guy. I like Steven looks
a little bit like Richie Cunningham backwhen Richie camp was on came back like
(01:00:52):
the last year or so. RonHoward of Happy Days looks like that.
Just a nice dude, like AndI feel bad for anybody who's got to
run any of this stuff here inthe day and age that were so divided.
But my god, whose idea wasit? I'm like, who did
(01:01:14):
you hire? I know you wantto give people second chances, fantastic,
give them a second chance, butthere are certain things that you can't do.
And while you're trying to give thema second chance, the reality of
people who don't believe they're hoping tomaybe give you a second chance. And
now you're seeing something leave the roomthat could have been programmed for the tabulation
(01:01:37):
machines. How do you think thatmakes them feel? From my understanding,
the stolen digital magnetic key is somethingthat has the potential to actually log into
the tabulation machines in the tech Soyou can understand the concern and the implication
that might have and the implication andthis guy might have been thinking, I'm
(01:01:57):
gonna steal it for maybe I cango and and and and and just take
it and sell it for someone whoknows why. But if you are a
Republican who already doesn't believe, myneighbor across the street got the flag upside
down, a lot of Trump flagstoo, what are you saying right now?
(01:02:19):
They're already at it. You're notgiving people. Part of wanting people
to get behind you and believe inyou is doing your job in such a
way that it doesn't give them causefor alarm. This was not that.
Just like when the governor's race happenedand carry Lake was running. She's running
(01:02:43):
for Senate now, and the machinesAmericopa County were printing everything wrong and it
was going sideways, and oh mygod, what happens. It gives to
the conspiracy theory because instead of measuringtwice time and fourth time and cutting once,
you thought, wow, we triedit a couple days ago, it
(01:03:04):
should be fine. No, youwant people to trust in you, show
them that your trust worthy, evenif you haven't done anything wrong. Know
that they're already looking for something.Three two, three, five, three,
eight, twenty four to twenty threeat Chad Benson's show, is Your
Twitter, tweet at as text toprogram. I want to get some woke
stuff. We'll do it next Hour'sa lot of stuff going on. I
(01:03:27):
know I'm gonna get hit up forthe sea chat. I told you they're
just a bunch of criminals and thieves. Here's something though some of the ponder
and think about. And I saidthis to my buddy yesterday. I said,
for some people, it will neverbe right. It was stolen.
It was all and you can't convincethose people. But I said, on
(01:03:50):
the other side, for the samepeople who are sitting there their conspiracy theory
theorist, if it was stolen, you could never convinced those people that it
was stolen. So both of themhave their hills. They'll die on if
you will. Three two, three, five, eight, twenty four to
(01:04:12):
twenty three at Chad Benson Show,to Twitter, your Instagram, Raycon best

radio like Chad Benson likes his meals, you've come to the perfect place for
takeout. I know when you werejoking about the Taylor's tour earlier. I
know that she's her errors to herI'm talented man. You don't want to
suffer the wrath of Taylor's who.So we like to call our tour the
(01:05:48):
errors Tour because I feel like we'vehad more than a few eras and more
than a few errors as well. That's because we actually played live what oh
my god, Dave Grohl, FooFighters, Nirvana, pretty iconic bands.
So they were playing a concert atLondon Arena, all right, so massive,
(01:06:14):
huge, and across the way atWembley Big Stadium, National Stadium kind
of thing. Taylor Swift was playingand he wasn't kidding about the wrath because
he's getting it. And of coursethe critics have come out he's the misogynistic.
Okay, let's let's let's do thisfor a second. Criticizing somebody for
(01:06:38):
something doesn't make you a racist,a homophobe, misogynistic, any of that.
That is the go to of theleft always is to label you something
to take away from what may bea real criticism. Now, I will
say this, I have not seenTaylor Swift live as she is now.
(01:07:00):
I do have a good story aboutToz. I have not, but I
have friends, one of them whois flying over this week to see her
in concert. In Europe. Sheis a megastar, she clapped back,
(01:07:21):
as the kids would say. Shesays, every one of my band members,
this is while she was on stage. Every single one of our crew,
my band, everybody's gonna be playinglive for you tonight for three and
a half hours. They deserve thisso much, and so does every one
of my fellow performers. He said. He was expressing frustration with artists using
(01:07:44):
backing vocals. It's different, right, if you're a band, you're a
rock band, and there isn't youmay have like some lights, some smoke
or something. Her tour is somethingdifferent. It is at an event.
I've seen some of it as faras like you know, you see it
(01:08:06):
online. She jumps in what lookslike this long stage. It looks like
she jumps into a pool and disappears. It's a stage. It's crazy.
So yeah, you're gonna have somebacking vocals and stuff like that. But
it's an event. It's a showas much it is a concert. But
Dave is feeling it. That's verdernsure. Hey, uh, heat because
(01:08:32):
its hot everywhere the Heat Dome fromArizona to Texas, from Texas to Florida,
from Louisiana to wherever DC hot isroad rage on the rise because of
the heat wave. It only takesa second for a sideways glance to become
(01:08:55):
a gesture, a gesture to becomeshouting and then violence. At seventy miles
per hour, you also have theheat that's going on, says Morgan Dean
of Triple eight. And when hotweather leads to hot tempers on the road,
you don't know how far they're willingto go because they're angry. You
don't know what kind of weapon theyhave with them. Best advice for dealing
with road ragers, he says,if they're yelling or screaming at you,
eyes ahead, just stay focused, don't even engage on them. How many
(01:09:19):
of you have had a roads rageincident? Now, everybody's had an incident.
You have flip off, you havegraduate, you're having a bad day
and that thing triggers something. Okay, we've all had that, but this
is different. We're at the pointnow where it's like it's battling gun brawls
(01:09:42):
in certain areas. It's people chasingpeople. It's insane. Could the heat
be part of it? I thinkthe thing is during the summertime, we're
on the road a lot more, and because of that, tempers can flare.
You're dealing with a car that maynot be keeping you as cool as
it otherwise would be. Morgan Deaneof Triple A says the heat is more
(01:10:04):
than just uncomfortable. Even some ofthat stuff can feed into that aggression that
we don't want to see happen.Triple A data shows that in twenty twenty
two, five hundred and fifty fourpeople were shot during road ridge incidents nationwide,
and one hundred and forty one died. There are no winners, no,
there's not. Now. I havehad in my much younger days somebody
(01:10:28):
like wave a gun kind of thing, and I don't think the gun was
real. But I have seen likeseveral cars out where people are chasing each
other because obviously an incident happened. It was racing of was something like that,
and they somebody put a gun outthe window, and that is just
nuts. The hell is wrong withpeople, And in today's world though,
(01:10:49):
it's getting worse because why because wedecide now everything needs to be decided,
especially young men by guns. Talka bit about that next hour three two,
three, five, three eight twentyfour to twenty three at Chad Benson
Show Ish your Twitter, tweet ata texta program. Love hearing from all
of you. Speaking of travel,it's very busy, the record breaking travel
(01:11:11):
season already underway. This airport isbuzzing this morning. That storms wreaking havoc
yesterday with more than eight thousand delaysnationwide. The FAA is warning that from
the southwest all the way up tothe East coast we could see some major
interruptions, so be sure to checkwith your carrier before you head to the
airport. Yeah, and it isrecord breaking, the TSA saying that Sunday
(01:11:32):
was the busiest day in its history, agents screening nearly three million passengers on
Monday alone. Airlines now bracing foran unprecedented surge in the coming days.
The FA expecting tomorrow will be thebusiest day for air travel of the year
so far. And it's going toget busy here because obviously we've got Fourth
of July coming next week, soa lot of people vacation time. So
(01:11:56):
if you're going to the airport,be prepared to be prepared to do nothing
wait and don't be frustrated because ofthe heat. Three two, three,
five, three, eight, twentyfour, twenty three at Chad Benson Show.
That is your Twitter, your Instagram, all of the other things right
here on the Chad Benson Show comingup next hour. A lot of good
(01:12:20):
stuff still to get to, includingmore woke stuff. We've got what's trending
and some interesting things that a politiciansaid we touched on a little bit last
hour that I think is the mosttrue thing a politician is said in a
long time. And he's a politicianthat just took on one of the squad
members and one, but what hesaid in an interview with CNN, I
(01:12:43):
think is the most It's something we'vebeen saying for such a long damn time
as well. I've got your tweetsand texts, some of you texting it
and tweeting about what we're just talkingabout. With the election issues in Arizona
already cropping up. My three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three Chad BensonShow's your Twitter. This is the Chad
Benson Show. This is the ChadBenson Show, Independent Thoughts, independent life,
(01:13:31):
This is Chad Benson, who can'twait for the big debate coming tomorrow
night. That's right. Debate tomorrownight. Two men will show up.
They'll wander in, one of them, maybe aimlessly. We'll watch for about
an hour. We'll see if anythingweird happens, and then that's it.
(01:13:55):
We'll move on. What about thepolicies, Chad, It's not about policy
ease, It's about personality and competency. Policies are crafted by many other people.
Remember, as the president of theUnited States, you're not a king
or a dictator. No matter whatanybody says. Donald Trump wants to make
(01:14:15):
dictator day one. The reality issue. The greatest salesman on earth. In
theory, you're supposed to sell thevision of America. You're supposed to do
all of those things. But wedon't care about policy. We care about
personality. That is not always thebest thing, because I will take not
a great personality over competency every dayof the work. So that being said,
(01:14:39):
Adam Kinsinger, who hates Donald Trump? Is that with a new endorsement
today, not a shocker. Itain't Donald. I'm Adam Kinsinger, and
I'm a proud conservative. I alwayshave been. As a proud conservative,
I've always put democracy and our constitutionabove all else, and it's because of
my unwavering support for democracy that today, as a proud Conservative, I'm endorsing
(01:15:02):
Joe Biden for reelection. My entirelife has been guided by the conviction that
America is a beacon of freedom, liberty, and democracy. So, while
I certainly don't agree with President Bidenon everything, and I never thought i'd
be endorsing a Democrat for president,I know that he will always protect the
very thing that makes America the bestcountry in the world, our democracy.
(01:15:25):
There he goes, he's going tobe doing that, protecting our democracy like
a superhero who takes Jared Though that'snot very nice, ched they still take.
Is that still a thing? AdamKinsinger, I can't believe. While
I don't believe in any of thesethings over here, the reality simply is
Donald Trump has given me life. The reason that anybody pays attention to me,
(01:15:46):
and the reason that I am makinga great living on all of these
talking head shows is because I opposeDonald Trump. Donald Trump poses a direct
threat to every fundamental American value oflife. He doesn't care about our country,
he doesn't care about you. Heonly cares about himself, and he'll
hurt anyone or anything in pursuit ofpower. We saw that when he tried
(01:16:08):
to overturn an election that he knewhe lost in twenty twenty. He attacked
the foundation of this nation, encouraginga violent mob of his supporters to march
on the Capitol to prevent the peacefultransition of power. Now he's become even
more dangerous. He's called for terminationof the constitution. He wants to be
a dictator. On day one,he actually said that, and he's continuing
(01:16:29):
to stoke the flames of political violence. There's too much at stake to sit
on the sidelines. So to everyAmerican of every political party and those of
none, I say, now isnot the time to watch quietly as Donald
Trump threatens the future of America. Now's the time to unite behind Joe Biden
and show Donald Trump off the stageonce and for all. All right,
(01:16:50):
Adam Kensington, right there, doyou guys, are you're swayed? No,
you're not swayed. Look, Uh, he voted against Donald Trump.
Let's go over his voting record, because this guy is he puts his money
where his mouth is. Uh,my goodness, here, let's see here
in the so what we're gonna gobuy one hundred and fifteenth, one hundred
(01:17:11):
and sixteenth Congresses, one hundred andsixteenth Congress. He voted with Donald Trump
eighty three percent of time one hundredand fifteenth ninety nine percent of the time.
So obviously you like the policies, but you don't like him, And
that's totally fine. Trump is Trump, Biden is Biden. They're two separate
people that will square off tomorrow nightin what is sure to be the most
(01:17:35):
watched of all time. That's whatthey're saying. Let me know, are
you gonna watch even for a littlebit, even for ten minutes, You're
gonna turn in to see? Isthis really gonna be the something weird?
Right? Like? You know?Is this gonna be what is this?
Is this a spectacle? Is itgonna be crazy? Is it gonna be
(01:17:55):
a nightmare? I mean, andwhat are you expecting? I want to
hear from you A three two, three, five, three eight, twenty
four to twenty three at Chad BensonShow is your Twitter? According to the
Associated Press at r C Center forPublic Affairs Research, most US adults plan
to watch some element of Thursday's presidentialdebate. So, and I love this
(01:18:21):
part. Both men remain broadly unpopular. But they're gonna turn in. Are
you turning? Well, we're turningin because we want to see what I'm
gonna turn in. I'm gonna watchit. What may happen? Does Trump
do what Trump does? Go offscript, gets underneath them, challenges into
a fight. Next thing you know, they're two old dudes rolling around hips,
(01:18:44):
breaking everywhere. It's all Trump's fault. He's amini. Does Biden look
up in the sky, He's estherturn around, wander away? Does that
happen? I don't know, butwe're tuning in for that. We're not
tuning in to go what's your stanceon this or that? We're not tuning
(01:19:06):
into that. And Trump. Look, the rules are no hitting below the
belt, which you both know theyprobably will at some time, and as
you get older, that belt goeshigher. If you notice that old people
they pull their their pants were oncearound their belly button are now right around
there, well just under their theirchest. So it's always that. I
(01:19:30):
don't think that's true, Jed.So I'm gonna watch because it's my job.
We're gonna break it down for youtop to bottom. We'll have a
special on Friday about the excitement thatis this. It's gonna be interesting for
sure. But again, this isall personality based. That's all. This
(01:19:55):
is personality based. There is nothingelse personality based. When it comes to
Trump. Trump is trying to convincedthose people who can't for the life of
(01:20:17):
them, would never vote for aDemocrat or have voted for Democrat, but
could never vote for Biden again basedon all the things that are happening,
but can't stand Trump. And he'strying to convince those people that are a
little bit like Adam Kinsinger, whoare old school conservatives, right, and
(01:20:40):
he is a nightmare for them.Biden's trying to sell the people, Hey
give me another shot, gotten throughthe pandemic. Biden is a horrible salesman.
Somebody asked me yesterday, No,buddy, Chris good, dude,
Chris Mill And also talk shows, damn one. He says, like the
(01:21:02):
Chips Act, which is a greatact that Biden is rolling with. Why
isn't he selling it? I said, simple, Biden can't sell anything.
And what I said at start thisthing. Being the president of the United
States is as much about being asalesman as it is a leader. And
I don't think people understand that. And Biden and his entire staff have been
(01:21:25):
awful at selling the good and partof the reason is is because they're not
being honest with the people. Yes, things are higher, yes, you
know, breaking down why these thingshave happened, and then saying, but
on the other hand, let's lookat this, let's break this down,
(01:21:45):
look at unemployment, look at this, look at that. The cost of
housing, Yes, it's through theroof. But if you own a house,
you're a love of life. He'sbad at that. Where Trump,
my buddy who can't stand Trump, said, Hey, one thing Trump could
do is sell something. He'd beout there selling it and people would be
(01:22:06):
buying it. They would be threetwo, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three at shedMenson shows your Twitter tweet at a
text to program last night NBC Newstalking about terrorism in America. Tonight,
NBC News has learned more than fiftymigrants with potential ties to an ISIS affiliated
(01:22:29):
smuggling network are at large in America. Many illegally cross the border and were
released into the US by border patrolbecause there was no information suggesting terrortize at
the time. Now their whereabouts areunknown as immigration agents look to arrest them.
US officials tell us saying they're amonga group of over four hundred migrants
dhs identified in the US from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Kyrkistan, Georgia,
(01:22:56):
and Russia as subjects of concern becausethey were brought to the US by
an ISIS affiliated smuggling network. WhatYeah, So they asked my orcis today,
who's useless? But he's been toldto be useless. I've often wonder
if he had autonomy to do thethings that he wanted to do and be
(01:23:19):
able to enforce the things he wantedto force, what it would look like.
But you get your marching orders fromthe top, and that's the Biden
administration. So mostly Central Asian toJerkistan, flip Papistan to it's Meccistan all
you know. Mostly you know theseCentral Asian countries. So they asked them
today about the terrorism side of it, and this is his response to start
(01:23:43):
off. Number one, with respectto the people from Central Asia, we
have no evidence that they are individualsplotting to harm the United States. That
is inaccurate. It's very important tonote that the safety and security of the
American people are our highest priority. We screen and vet individuals at the time
of encounter. If we learn ofderogatory information, we take enforcement action.
(01:24:09):
We are proceeding with extreme caution herein the service of the security and safety
of the American people. Number one. That's number one. It's clown is
I can't you know, I knowa lot of people like, why aren't
you harder on him? Because that'syour job, right You're working essentially at
(01:24:29):
the behst of the president, andyou're there and at any given time they
could kick the gas out of there, and your job is to sell whatever
the president is is shoveling, andhe's been shoveling open borders, and you've
got to go out and act likeyou're doing all this stuff when in reality
or not. And I don't expectthem to catch everybody. For the four
hundred that they think they've identified, how many more are here that they haven't
(01:24:51):
who've gotten through the border and evenbeen checked. And how many more are
here that didn't even go somewhere toquote unquote check in so they could get
a release date and then they're paroledin the United States. Yeah, think
about that. Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty

the wacky, crazy stuff that goeson in the world, the lunacy that's
out there, and there is plentyof it for those of you not keeping
score, plenty of lunacy. We'realso going to talk a bit about why
Michael Phelps was trending yesterday or latelast night. He along with several other
Olympians, basically blasted the world dopingthe organization as the Olympics approach because of
(01:30:19):
cheating and which countries are cheating. Not a surprise on which countries are cheating,
but let's just say this, notonly did they cheat, they got
away with it and now they're inthe Olympics. Can't make this stuff up,
folks, How did we get here? Plus we got more of the

the podcast if you miss any ofthe show, Happy Happy Up Day.
It is the Chad Benson Joe,The Chad Benson Show, Independent Thoughts,
(01:31:18):
Independent Life. This is Chad Benson. Well. The case is sealed by
a judge and details on what thebakers Field chapter of The Hell's Angels allegedly
did or unknown. The president, vice president, and entire chapter is under
arrest. Six members arrested on Tuesday, and one more was already in custody.
They're charged with kidnapping, robbery, criminal threats, assault, false imprisonment,
(01:31:41):
being in a criminal street gang, conspiracy, intimidating a witness, and
elder abuse. Most of those arrested, the ATF says are active patched members
of the Hell's Angels. Wow,kidnapping, robbery, that is a lot.
Elder abuse, What are you doing? They're one percenters of those of
you who don't know, with aone percent or is the thought process in
(01:32:02):
the way that they've always pitched itto the world, the motorcycle clubs.
That's when you see MC in thebottom of the rocker, is when you
see a one percent that ninety ninepercent of them are just we're hanging out
at a club. But one percentdoes all the bad stuff. Apparently not.
In Bakersfield, they arrested them allages forty two, fifty five,
(01:32:28):
fifty seven, thirty three. Oh, it's good to see dad and son
working. Joseph Soto Senior and JosephSoda Junior, thirty one year old,
Joshua Savala and John Seger fifty sevenall are members of Sons of Hell and
the rest are patched in with theHell's Angels still out there. Man,
(01:32:50):
I watched that show. It'll beon tonight every Wednesday night. They have
stories about the Hell's Angels, andthey got guys who have left the Hell's
Angels retired, if you will, guys who are still in who are willing
to talk. It's kind of anodd thing. It's like interviewing mafia people
that's still in the mafia. Idon't know. Interesting. Indeed, ah
(01:33:11):
breaking news. Supreme Court decided withthe Biden administration with the tech ruling.
So remember this is a free speechis the way that it was pitched.
Hey, you were silencing people whenit came to free speech. Republican officials
in two states Missouri Louisiana, fivesocial media users sued over the practice.
(01:33:33):
In twenty twenty two argument, theWhite House did far more than persuade the
tech giants to take down a fewdeceptive items. Instead, they said,
the Biden administration engaged and an informalbackdoor campaign of coercion to silence voices It
disagreed with a practice known as jabboeing. Look at that, look at that.
(01:33:55):
It was a six to three decision. Just as Amy Cony Barrett wrote
the opinion for the majority. Shesaid, to establish standing, the plaintiffs
must demonstrate a substantial risk that inthe near future they will suffer an injury
that is traceable to a government defendantand redressable by the injunctions they seek.
Because no plaintive has carried the burden, none has standing to seek a preliminary
(01:34:19):
injunction. So there you go,one down, kids, one down.
Indeed, now we turn our gazeupon the Olympics. Yeah, people in
(01:34:39):
Paris are not happy about the Olympicscoming, and they're spending all this money
to clean up the river there becausethere's going to be kayaking and swimming and
stuff, and so the French peopleare trying to get together because Macrone and
them are like, we're going toswim in at the show too on how
clean it is, and everybody's like, let's crap in the river to show
them it's not clean, because that'sa very French thing to do. But
(01:35:00):
the actual game side of stuff andswimming, but this time in a pool.
Michael Phelps yesterday spoke on the Hillat a hearing about cheating WATA that's
the World Anti Doping Agency that isbasically Chinese run. Talked about the fact
that hey, you know what,he busted his ass, his entire life.
(01:35:21):
Clean is where everybody needs to be. While competing at the highest levels,
I witnessed firsthand the pervasive uncertainty andthe suspicion surrounding doping, which significantly
affected my confidence and that of myfellow athletes. The hardest part was seeing
athletes achieve seemingly impossible feats, knowingthe immense effort and sacrifices required to reach
(01:35:42):
these heights cleanly. I know whatit takes to achieve the seemingly impossible things
the right way. I trained forfive straight years without taking a single day
off. I knew that that levelof my competition, an extra fifty two
days of practice would be necessary tomake that difference. Krifi brought me to
the highest of highs. Sitting hereonce again, it is clear to me
(01:36:03):
that any attempts of reform at waterhave fallen short and there are still deeply
rooted, systemic problems that prove tobe detrimental to the integrity of international sports
and athletes rights to fair competition.Time and time again, I agree one
hundred percent. Now, that wasn'tthe big thing, but it was nice
to hear him by the way hedid trade apparently for five straight years without
(01:36:27):
a break. That is a manwho is obsessed. But why are we
talking about this Because the Chinese Olympicteam has eleven people on it in the
swimming department that tested positive a coupleof years ago for banned substances that help
your heart so you get swim faster, get the oxygen through your blood better.
Nobody was suspended. I urged Congressto use its considerable its considerable leverage
(01:36:51):
with WATA make the organization independent andeffective. It can't reasonably be a coincidence
that you saw it as yet againsuccumb to the Rushias of international sport.
Close friends were potentially impacted by Yusada'sfailure to follow its own rules in investigating
the nearly two dozen positive tests onChinese swimmers. Many of them will live
(01:37:13):
with the what is for the restof their lives. It's nuts. So
eleven of them are on the teamgoing to Paris. How'd that make you
feel? It was like when Iwas a kid growing up. You had
the East Germany and the West Germanyat the Soviet block. Everybody knew what
the Soviets were doing. None ofthem were amateurs. Well, they couldn't
(01:37:35):
make money. Nobody in their countrycould make money. You were given whatever
you were given. And the otherside of it was we all knew they
were cheating. We did. Theswimmers heading to the Games include Jang You
Fel and Wang Shu, who wongolds in Tokyo despite having tested positive for
band heart medication. Try danzitine. There you go, folks, add it
(01:38:00):
again. They want to win ineverything. They do not care. They
don't care, and until people startholding them accountable and realizing this is what
they will use everything in their powerto further whatever cause they need to further.
And it's that showing the world howamazing they are in swimming in the
(01:38:20):
Olympics and why their programs work betterthan everybody else. Well, welcome to
the world we live in now, because it's us versus them, and I'm
talking about the country. Ah,you're racist. No, it's reality,
and we need to wake up tosaid reality. Let's do some walk stuff
here, shall we. How dareyou miss gender? Well? Understand what
is so hard about correcting other peoplewhen they miss gender? Others like it
(01:38:46):
takes you like two seconds, Butyou know what it takes for me to
have to constantly do that. Alot of unnecessary emotional heabor that I already
have to take on on a dailybasis just exists and be who I am.
But you don't have the energy speedup and say something on my belt?
Why not collect? No nobody doesbecause we're too busy living our lives.
(01:39:11):
I know it's emotionally draining for you, ma'am, and I understand that,
but this is your life and orsir, or whatever you're going by
in today's world, and nobody's gettinginvolved. Nobody wants to get involved.
That's this you you problem. AndI think it's what I said for a
long time in this woke world. When is it my responsibility? When does
(01:39:32):

the Institution, the Chad Benson Show. There's millions of people that are
(01:41:40):
on a fence, not making adecision yet on who to vote for for
President of the United States at thispoint in the game, when like never
before, everything around them is collapsing. Thursday Nights debate is a scam.
It's a sham. It's both. The only thing good about it is going
to be entertaining a lot of thesefolks they speak of who are on a
fence, they'll actually make decision atthis stupid debate. Hypothetically, they juice
(01:42:02):
up Joe Biden and he does spectacular. Right. Do you think that the
next day, if Joe Biden doesgood, that your kids are gonna be
any safer around a playground, thatyour nieces and nephews aren't gonna die of
fetanol overdoses anymore. Wow? Thatright there. Scott Lombardo talking about the
(01:42:23):
debate tomorrow night. He is firedup. You made up your mind yet?
Hmm? Do you think that theseillegal aliens are gonna stop raping and
slaughtering young women in this country andpack their bags and say I'm going home
to where I came from. Doyou think the violent criminals are gonna put
their guns down and say, youknow what, I'm going out for a
(01:42:45):
job today. Do you think Siinais gonna stop spying on us and trying
to take over it and destroy hiscountry like other countries. Do you think
your eggs and milk are gonna dropninety percent if Joe Biden wins the debate.
I don't even know what to callyou. There's no word. If
you haven't made your decision by now, you off in the head. It's
(01:43:08):
very fired up. By the way, if Trump is the winner, not
of the debate, but the eggsaren't dropping ninety percent. I don't know.
Some people we put way too much, if you will, eggs in
a certain basket at the highest level, thinking that they're magic beings that will
(01:43:29):
grant wishes, and that's not thereality of I just want to let everybody
know that whether Biden or Trump winsor loses, your life, for the
most part, is still going tohave to go on. Okay, that's
first. Secondly, your life willstill be impacted more by the local politics
(01:43:55):
that people pay no attention to theway they should than the federal level.
But the Feds and all that stuff, it's big, it's it's reality television,
right. It's what it is.Local politics is the is the little
local theater down the street. Thisis Broadway if you will three two,
three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson
(01:44:18):
Show's your Twitter. They're getting readyfor it, though. This will be
a test of physical and mental staminafor both men. It's the first time
either of them have debated on TVlike this in four years. And this
is all happening as we are waitingon Supreme Court decisions that directly affect Trump,
including presidential immunity. Those rulings couldcome down before the debate. I
(01:44:38):
like the way they talk about who'sthis stamina? Who's that for? Say
what you want about Trump. He'son stage, talks a lot. Sometimes
he makes sense, sometimes he doesn't. It's always doing any show though,
there's no doubt about that. Thestamina side, I think they're more worried
about that. That's an issue forBiden. Like I said, people are
(01:44:58):
tuning in for two different reasons toIt's not policy, because policy nobody's ever
been swayed by the talking points andthe debate itself nobody had the look will
be an issue and if Biden lookslethargic, and I don't think he's going
to I think he's gonna be fine. But if he did and he had
(01:45:20):
a senior moment, yeah, thatwould be a serious issue. Let's what
if they both had senior moments, which nobody's asking. What about the rules?
Because there's rules the microphone of thecandidate not selected to speak will be
muted. Another new change, nostudio audience. Trump telling the Washington Examiner
to me, the audience is easierbecause it's telling you what is going on
(01:45:42):
indirectly with applause or not applause. This room is a sterile dead room.
And we talked about that earlier.Who does that help more? Well,
that helps Biden. Biden got everythinghe wanted. Trump wanted one thing,
and that was the debate Biden withoutthe audience of Trump, do we get?
I think that's a real question toask without that audience, without that
(01:46:03):
feedback, because that's the one thingthat Trump does. When people say he
says wacky stuff, he does. And part of that is because there is
an audience. And when there isan audience, like a comic or a
lot of other people, they'll tendto go with that flow and Trump isn't
going to have that in this situation. So does that help or hurt?
(01:46:27):
That's a very very fair question whenit comes to this, when it comes
to Trump being a different Trump thatwe normally see combative, maybe less so,
maybe less playing up the audience, more serious. I it's it's going
(01:46:51):
to be interesting, but we're onlytuning in for two reasons. Is he
going to say something crazy and isthere going to be a senior moment?
That's it. We're not tuning inbecause we will do policy is gonna change.
Oh my gosh, I didn't thinkTrump was gonna say because people who
are on the fence about Trump orhate Trump, no matter what he says
or does policy wise, will neverchange their mind because it's personality based when
(01:47:16):
it comes to him and people,as we all know, in the world
of politics, we're so tribal nowwe don't care if it's the other team.
We want nothing to do with it, period, case closed, end
of story, even if it benefitsus. So that debate is tomorrow night,
which brings us to the end ofthe show and some stupid information,
and then I go and spoil itall by saying something stupid. It will
(01:47:41):
take stupid pills this morning. It'sthe honest ones you want to watch out
for, because you can never predictthey're gonna do something incredibly stupid. Now
you're the fact stupid. One withthe big mouth is stupid. You should
never underestimate the predictability of stupid. It's in now it's time fall. Stupid
(01:48:05):
information Interesting stuff in the world ofpresidential debates. One time there was a
presidential debate where the candidates were indifferent rooms three thousand miles apart when Kennedy
and Nixon appeared for their third debatein nineteen sixty. During that campaign,
(01:48:26):
they didn't share the same time zone, let alone the same stage. Both
men appeared behind podiums in similar lookingtelevision studios. Kennedy was in New York,
Nixon in Hollywood. The moderator inthree panelist sat in a third television
studio. The good news for thecandidates, no awkward handshakes of four smiles
necessary at the end of the debate. Solid fun show today as always three

be very interesting to see how thisthing plays itself out. Will there be
twists, will there be turns,Will something happen here? What's going to
(01:49:09):
be the breaking news? But I'vebeen saying this and I'll continue to say
this over and over again. Weare watching tomorrow night not for policy,
which is a shame, but forpersonality and to make sure that these people
are cognitively strong enough to handle thejob and maybe physically able to get over
